Father,
search the part of us that obeys You outwardly while resisting You inwardly.
Expose every place where righteousness has become routine, performance, or pressure. Deliver us from the kind of obedience that does the right thing while the heart still argues with You in secret.
We have obeyed with tension.
We have submitted with reluctance.
We have done what was right while still loving what was wrong.
And that is dangerous.
Because a heart that only obeys out of duty may still be…
