- 0:04SPEAKER_00: Hello.
- 0:08UNKNOWN: Hello.
- 0:09SPEAKER_00: Welcome to your Hello Haven Mavens podcast.
- 0:12SPEAKER_00: My name is Candice Smiling.
- 0:14SPEAKER_00: I'm Laura Lee Harrison.
- 0:16SPEAKER_00: We're very excited to have you joining us today.
- 0:19SPEAKER_00: We have got an incredible little mini-series and we are so excited to be introducing you to amazing speakers and people who just inspire us.
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: So we're going to invite you to sit back, relax, grab a cup of coffee or maybe a glass of wine and join us as we take you on a great little adventure into people's lives who inspire us.
- 0:47SPEAKER_01: Hello!
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: Hello! Oh, we are back for another edition of your Hello Amy.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: We're really, really excited for our guest.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: We say that every time.
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: We really love our guests.
- 0:59SPEAKER_00: We do.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: We do.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: They're amazing.
- 1:02SPEAKER_00: They say your vibe attracts your tribe, and I think that's also our clear request that we want more tribe.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: But we have a very special guest.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: We have had her on our podcast before, and it was just incredibly neat because she actually reached out to us and said, hey, we'd love to do another edition with you guys.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: And we said, yeah, hello.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: So super excited.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: So Phoebe, you are live.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: If you want to come on and say hi and hello.
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: We have our little listeners, a quick snapshot of who you are, but you are a woman up to big things and we love that.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: Thank you so much.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: I am so excited to be here.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: I saw your shout out for some new guests and I was like, well, you know, I'm just going to throw my hat in the ring.
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: I know I've already been on your show and it was just such a blast.
- 1:51SPEAKER_00: I love hanging out with you guys.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: You're just real and honest and you're doing the thing, which is really exciting to see and to be a part of and I I am like just absolutely thrilled to be here.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: I know we had a lot of fun on our last episode, but just to give, if you weren't, if you didn't listen to the last episode that I was on, just to give you a little bit of backstory, I am currently a business and personal growth coach for female entrepreneurs.
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: Actually, that is a lie.
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: I need to change that because I actually work now with men, which is a big development in a new evolution of my business.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: I have actually opened doors to men as well.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: found that on my podcast, Unbecoming, I had a lot of men listening, which is very bizarre and was not expected.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: And then I actually enjoy working with them.
- 2:39SPEAKER_00: So the balance of the feminine and the masculine is something that I really pay a lot of attention to when building a business.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: But really, it's all about, for me, it's about building a business as an extension of yourself and having fun, friends, focus, financial security, all the F-words in a business.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: All the F-words.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: We're in.
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: All the F-words.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: Because that's So all of those things in a business, it just feels awesome and fun.
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: I'm just getting fun at the occasion.
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: Well, and it was really cute because again, and for our listeners, go back when you're done listening to this podcast, listen into the moment it was TV.
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: It was really powerful.
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: It was really great.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: We talked about our shared love for Tony Robbins and how we needed to see if he had like a brother or a cousin or something like that.
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: And honestly, I have thought of that so many times since we chatted.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: I was like, I need to get a t-shirt, right?
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: We need to get t-shirts made, you know, but the challenge, and I love it because actually we have chosen to open up our podcast as well.
- 3:41SPEAKER_00: and we have had two male guests in this mini series.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: Men who inspire us, men who support the Feminine Rising.
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: And it's just that, you know, we know that there are so many women joining business right now, which is why, you know, we've really chosen to focus that.
- 3:57SPEAKER_00: And we know that you don't attract what you want, you attract who you are.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: And so for, you know, Laura Lee and I, we are just two women who are now also moms, right?
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: It's another role that we play.
- 4:07SPEAKER_00: We're also business owners.
- 4:09SPEAKER_00: We have dreams, desires, goals, and we wanted to communicate with people.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: We go, oh my gosh, that's me, right?
- 4:17SPEAKER_00: And so that's why we come to them.
- 4:19SPEAKER_00: So I love that you're bringing more more fun into the equation.
- 4:22SPEAKER_00: I love all the F words.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: I was thinking of an F and a U, right?
- 4:27SPEAKER_00: We all want to make that kind of money, right?
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: That lets us go and do whatever we want.
- 4:31SPEAKER_00: So, you know, I love how you put that.
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: So I guess, you know, Phoebe, you've got a platform.
- 4:37SPEAKER_00: You've got a platform to share with our audience.
- 4:39SPEAKER_00: What is the message that you're currently leaning into?
- 4:41SPEAKER_00: Because I know you just launched a series.
- 4:43SPEAKER_00: So talk to us about that.
- 4:44SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so I think my, I mean, my real message at the moment, I've been fine tuning it over the last several years, just figuring out like, what is it really?
- 4:53SPEAKER_00: And one of the things that has really come up for me big time is just the issue or notion of our identity, especially as women.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: And I think that's what I speak to a lot, you know, on my podcast in private conversations that I'm having is just how we construct our identity.
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: And it's really dangerous.
- 5:10SPEAKER_00: And the way that personally, I have mine was all always based on my accomplishments I am a I'm from a big family and in order to stand out you had to be the best you have to be the best at everything and that is I didn't realize I don't think until I really took a step back how much pressure I felt not based on anyone else you know things that people had said to me perhaps when I was growing up but really this you know innate sense of competition and I have to be better than everybody and so when my identity was so tied to my accomplishments it becomes really volatile and it becomes in a moment you you know, over time, in a period of a week, or when outside forces, in terms of like a financial crisis, God forbid, happens, or a period, you know, a low period of clients and dropping off and whatnot, it becomes this you know up and down this constant roller coaster of identity crisis crises and also how you feel about yourself and I just realized that I don't actually want to live in that way and that none of these accomplishments or outward outward facing things really define who I am and so my whole unbecoming process which is you know for me just the word that I feel like I really truly embody or try to at least on a consistent basis is what am I doing to unravel the story the expectations the perfectionism around who I am and what I stand for and who I stand for and who I stand behind and who I'm lifting up in the world what does that say about who I am as a person and so my message of unbecoming is really to take a step back and see how we're building ourselves up, how we're building each other up, who we're building up, what we're saying out loud and saying internally that is creating that ripple effect for powerful women and powerful men.
- 7:01SPEAKER_00: You know, even when I'm saying I'm opening my doors to men, it's like the big thing for me is that women need strong, powerful women and men need strong, powerful women as
- 7:11SPEAKER_01: well.
- 7:11SPEAKER_00: So standing in that place, that's really the message that I'm looking forward to.
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: I have my season four is coming out.
- 7:17SPEAKER_00: It's called Shenanigans.
- 7:19SPEAKER_00: It's So all kinds of, I just, I don't know.
- 7:21SPEAKER_00: It's so funny.
- 7:22SPEAKER_00: I always like stress out about titles and then I like go on a walk and then they come to me and I'm like, Oh, that's cute.
- 7:29SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 7:30SPEAKER_00: That's awesome.
- 7:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 7:31SPEAKER_00: It's just, it's conversations with inspiring women and people that are really standing in their truth and what might not be the popular vote, right.
- 7:41SPEAKER_00: To build a business that isn't, about the template or isn't about the blueprint.
- 7:46SPEAKER_00: I talk about the U print, you know, what does that actually look like as opposed to the same cookie cutter course that we're all taught to follow.
- 7:55SPEAKER_00: And I don't know if it's like the rebel in me or what it is, but it's something that I've always really rejected.
- 8:02SPEAKER_00: Um, and I didn't quite know why.
- 8:04SPEAKER_00: And now I'm starting to realize that when more people are really stepping into who they are and really speaking out against, against and for things that they care about.
- 8:14SPEAKER_00: It really makes for a much, just a much more powerful marketplace.
- 8:18SPEAKER_00: And it allows me as a consumer to go to the people who are producing content and producing value and producing, you know, communities that I care about and that I want to stand behind and I want to be a part of.
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: So, you know, hat tip to you guys that are, you know, both of you that are creating this amazing community.
- 8:36SPEAKER_00: of women who feel comfortable doing that.
- 8:38SPEAKER_00: And we were saying right before we hit record that I love our last episode because one of you is like running off to like handle the kids.
- 8:45SPEAKER_00: And it's like, you're just painting a real picture of what it is, a woman in business.
- 8:52SPEAKER_00: And it is just, that's really refreshing.
- 8:55SPEAKER_00: Well, I think for me, Phoebe, I remember I worked right up until I had an RN.
- 9:00SPEAKER_00: I worked from home, right?
- 9:01SPEAKER_00: So I was comfortable, right?
- 9:03SPEAKER_00: And I did that by choice.
- 9:05SPEAKER_00: And then I can remember like six days postpartum, I was in bed and everybody's like, relax, enjoy.
- 9:11SPEAKER_00: And I was.
- 9:12SPEAKER_00: I was loving being her mom in those moments.
- 9:15SPEAKER_00: And there was a part of me that was like, yeah, but I still exist.
- 9:18SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 9:19SPEAKER_00: That part of me that loves to work and loves what I do for work.
- 9:22SPEAKER_00: I'm one of the very fortunate ones.
- 9:23SPEAKER_00: I know Laura Lee's the same.
- 9:24SPEAKER_00: We do what we love and we love what we do and we get paid for it.
- 9:27SPEAKER_00: And so I went, so how do I now juggle being a mom, which is a full-on gig, right?
- 9:35SPEAKER_00: There's no day off from that.
- 9:37SPEAKER_00: And also this desire I have to achieve.
- 9:41SPEAKER_00: and succeed and everything else.
- 9:43SPEAKER_00: And so that was sort of the reason why we started this, this interesting podcast was to be like, Hey, Girlfriend, you can do it.
- 9:51SPEAKER_00: It requires that you pre-plan.
- 9:54SPEAKER_00: It requires you lean into your tribe and say, I need child care support today.
- 9:58SPEAKER_00: It requires that you think a little further ahead, right?
- 10:01SPEAKER_00: Like we pre-cut up vegetables for the kids so that we could square away 20 minutes to ourselves to interview a powerhouse woman like you so that the woman who's multitasking, we know who you are.
- 10:11SPEAKER_00: You're listening right now.
- 10:13SPEAKER_00: You are multitasking.
- 10:15SPEAKER_00: You can feel like you're not doing it all by yourself.
- 10:19SPEAKER_00: There are other ways.
- 10:19SPEAKER_00: women who are saying, I want my cake and I'm going to
- 10:24SPEAKER_01: eat it
- 10:26SPEAKER_00: too.
- 10:27SPEAKER_00: Or not.
- 10:28SPEAKER_00: And there's no judgment.
- 10:29SPEAKER_00: Like that's the other thing is like, I just think, especially moms and I, I can speak this knowing a lot of moms.
- 10:35SPEAKER_00: I'm not a mom yet.
- 10:36SPEAKER_00: But I just know that women are so hard on themselves and it is, you know, beyond I can, you know, I, I'm going to speak for women, all of women, but I just feel like, you know, we're just so hard on ourselves and it really takes someone to be like, you know, to speak to you in the way that, or to speak to yourself in the way that you would speak to your friend, right?
- 10:56SPEAKER_00: Like if you eat a big piece of cake, you know, like screw it, who cares?
- 11:01SPEAKER_00: Like maybe you want to sit on the couch while your kid, you know, you put your kids to bed and you just sit on the couch for 30 minutes watching a bad threat, whatever, no judgment.
- 11:09SPEAKER_00: But it's, you know, it's in those moments I find that, and I, you know, I catch this all the time when I'm doing something, but I'm not actually there.
- 11:18SPEAKER_00: You know, and I'm thinking about a bazillion things that I should be doing.
- 11:22SPEAKER_00: And so I'm just sitting on the couch watching The Bachelorette.
- 11:24SPEAKER_00: I don't even know who's winning or what's going on because I'm too busy thinking about all the things that I should be doing.
- 11:29SPEAKER_00: I'm feeling guilty for it.
- 11:31SPEAKER_00: And I just find...
- 11:32SPEAKER_00: You're sitting on the couch watching The Bachelorette and you should be doing everything else.
- 11:36SPEAKER_00: And really, it's a bad cycle that we get ourselves in, hey?
- 11:42SPEAKER_00: Totally.
- 11:44SPEAKER_00: I...
- 11:45SPEAKER_00: I had this, so I actually just got back from Ireland.
- 11:47SPEAKER_00: I do this thing where I buy one-way tickets.
- 11:51SPEAKER_00: I don't know if it's a good habit or a bad habit, but I think this is very me.
- 11:56SPEAKER_00: And so I went for one of my girlfriend's weddings at the beginning or end of June.
- 12:02SPEAKER_00: I bought a one-way ticket and was like, you know what?
- 12:04SPEAKER_00: I'm just going to see how I feel.
- 12:05SPEAKER_00: If I want to come home, I can come home.
- 12:07SPEAKER_00: If I don't, I won't.
- 12:09SPEAKER_00: And I ended up renting a car, driving around Ireland.
- 12:12SPEAKER_00: And in this time, my intention going over there...
- 12:15SPEAKER_00: So I don't really, a lot of times I don't set goals, you know, because I can set a million goals and everything else.
- 12:20SPEAKER_00: I just allowed myself not to set any goals, but my intention was to go and be present.
- 12:25SPEAKER_00: And I pushed pause on a lot of things on my business, almost to the point where I'm like, well, you know, should I have done it that much?
- 12:32SPEAKER_00: Maybe not, but whatever.
- 12:33SPEAKER_00: It was fine.
- 12:35SPEAKER_00: And I just, like, I was present in nature.
- 12:38SPEAKER_00: And I was by myself and I, I have this thing where I don't know if you guys get it, but I get messages in nature and I don't know if that's everybody or if it's just me.
- 12:48SPEAKER_00: I'm not sure.
- 12:49SPEAKER_00: It's one of those weird things.
- 12:50SPEAKER_00: Like, but I was sitting on this rock and I was just like looking at the water and the cliffs.
- 12:58SPEAKER_00: And if you haven't been to Ireland, like please go to the West side.
- 13:01SPEAKER_00: Cause it is so beautiful.
- 13:03SPEAKER_00: I like, I mean, I welled up a tear several times because it was just so pretty.
- 13:08SPEAKER_00: And one of the moments I was like, I just said something like in my head, but sort of out loud.
- 13:13SPEAKER_00: Maybe it was probably embarrassed to admit that it was out loud.
- 13:15SPEAKER_00: But I talked to myself all the time.
- 13:19SPEAKER_00: So long conversations.
- 13:21SPEAKER_00: And my kids like, mommy, I'm like, it's fine.
- 13:24SPEAKER_00: Go away.
- 13:25SPEAKER_00: Just having a conversation.
- 13:28SPEAKER_00: Who are you talking to?
- 13:29SPEAKER_00: Everyone.
- 13:29SPEAKER_00: No one.
- 13:30SPEAKER_00: Just admit it.
- 13:34SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 13:34SPEAKER_00: So it's not just me.
- 13:36SPEAKER_00: And I just said out loud, I was like, show me something amazing.
- 13:40SPEAKER_00: And in my head, I was like, I want like a dolphin or a rainbow or like something amazing.
- 13:45SPEAKER_00: And the message that came out so clear to me was I already have.
- 13:49SPEAKER_00: And I was like, oh my God, look at me.
- 13:52SPEAKER_00: I'm looking for everything else that isn't really here yet.
- 13:56SPEAKER_00: And I'm just, I wasn't actually focused on what I was looking at.
- 14:00SPEAKER_00: I was looking at beautiful cliffs, this like blue sky, because there was a heat wave in Ireland.
- 14:05SPEAKER_00: I was looking at just calm.
- 14:07SPEAKER_00: I was feeling the wind and all these things, but I was looking for more things, right?
- 14:11SPEAKER_00: I was like, show me something amazing.
- 14:12SPEAKER_00: And it was like, yeah, why don't you just shut up and look around for a second?
- 14:17SPEAKER_00: And I was like, wow.
- 14:17SPEAKER_00: Oh
- 14:19SPEAKER_01: my gosh.
- 14:26SPEAKER_00: right it's like you know when you have to like hold your kid i have a nephew and lots i've been around kids my whole life but you know when you just like have to hold the head like i don't know if anyone else it's right there i like dog training when you have to like like that's what it felt like i was like god how am i i just got totally lost in the pursuit of something better as opposed to the gratitude of what is and that is like a big message that was a huge message for me in that moment and now i'm just getting it everywhere and so i've only been home for actually exactly a week and i've just been like remember to be grateful for what is life is short to be, you know, to not be grateful for what is.
- 15:14SPEAKER_00: So, that was a big message that I'm kind of touting at the moment.
- 15:18SPEAKER_00: Well, that's cool because I actually experienced that moment.
- 15:22SPEAKER_00: I mean, I've done some traveling and I find myself, I'll wake up and I think about all the things I need to do because I'm so committed to where I'm going and I'm creating it for, you know, this beautiful tiny human I get to be with and I'm a little or at least the same way.
- 15:33SPEAKER_00: It's easy to get into that moment where you're like, just be quiet, I have stuff to do.
- 15:36SPEAKER_00: And then I go, kind of just take a deep breath.
- 15:39SPEAKER_00: You're doing it so you can be with her, right?
- 15:40SPEAKER_00: So be with her because you're with her right now right and this weekend I had an opportunity to be a little bit kid free for a couple of days and it was interesting because first I didn't know what to do with myself which was entertaining and all the moms are like I know and I was like because there were so many things I could do and and then there was this moment where I A friend of mine shared with me some great new music, and I love music.
- 16:07SPEAKER_00: I'm like you.
- 16:08SPEAKER_00: I can get great inspiration in nature, and I can also find great inspiration just being.
- 16:13SPEAKER_00: Hang on one sec.
- 16:20SPEAKER_01: Sorry about that.
- 16:21SPEAKER_00: And the dogs are also included in our day.
- 16:23SPEAKER_00: And one of the things that happened is this music came on and because I had been quiet and I'd been focusing on me and I'd written out some goals, I was in a moment, just like you, right?
- 16:32SPEAKER_00: Sit on the cliffs.
- 16:34SPEAKER_00: And the song came on and my ear, like I teared up a bit.
- 16:37SPEAKER_00: And it wasn't like it was some big opera or anything.
- 16:41SPEAKER_00: It was just music that clearly the artist had found, had put a heart and soul into.
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: And I was like, how often do I just put, you know, music on and I just go.
- 16:53SPEAKER_00: And I just sat there for a minute and just was like, I'm just gonna listen to the whole song.
- 16:59SPEAKER_00: And it was just a neat moment to sort of take that breather to be present to be in the moment and to experience it and so you're right right we're getting so busy that we don't just stop for a little moment to pause right you can make yourself a cup of coffee in the morning and you love your coffee i know who you are you know do you just stand there like they do in the commercials right breathe it in take a sip i think our lives could be a whole lot more enjoyable if we did that I have, like, a whole coffee ritual in the morning, which I'm sure all moms are going to be like, oh, God.
- 17:29SPEAKER_00: But this is, like, hashtag single life.
- 17:31SPEAKER_00: You know, I'm at home, and when I have my French press, like, I open it up, and I take, like, maybe I am, like, in the morning.
- 17:39SPEAKER_00: I don't really watch that much TV, contrary to what happened, you know, 90%.
- 17:44SPEAKER_00: I'm totally going to see you now, just standing at your window, breathing it in, you know.
- 17:48SPEAKER_00: That's part of waking up, right?
- 17:51SPEAKER_00: A little moment going on.
- 17:52SPEAKER_00: It's like Phoebe in your cup, I feel like.
- 17:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's like.
- 17:55SPEAKER_00: my life, I feel like.
- 17:57SPEAKER_00: But I just...
- 17:57SPEAKER_00: That is your next little cup.
- 17:59SPEAKER_00: Phoebe in your cup.
- 18:00SPEAKER_00: Seriously.
- 18:01SPEAKER_00: Brand that stuff.
- 18:03SPEAKER_00: I will trademark that as soon as we get off here.
- 18:06SPEAKER_00: But, no.
- 18:07SPEAKER_00: I really just try to take a moment because I practice this a lot.
- 18:11SPEAKER_00: When I go and see my nephew, for example, it's full on.
- 18:15SPEAKER_00: If I'm there, I mean, I'll go for about two weeks and it's just me and him all the time.
- 18:20SPEAKER_00: Because I want to give my sister and her husband a break.
- 18:23SPEAKER_00: I want to give them some time and space.
- 18:25SPEAKER_00: yeah i mean i oh i'm always the first person off for child care because i love kids and i love what they remind me to do and to get into that like i'm like laughing hysterically at my two and a half year old nephew we're just like dying on the couch together tickling each other like it's just so raw and pure and i love that and so i i try to practice and I don't know, practice maybe for one day when I have kids.
- 18:53SPEAKER_00: I'm not sure if it's that or to really put myself in the shoes of so many of my clients, because I would say 95% of my clients have kids.
- 19:03SPEAKER_00: And then probably 70% of them are married.
- 19:05SPEAKER_00: So it's really interesting to see, you know, that dynamic and to be able to relate to them.
- 19:10SPEAKER_00: And what I do is I like really breathe in my coffee and I take even like 10 seconds.
- 19:15SPEAKER_00: I just put myself into a coffee farm somewhere in Indonesia.
- 19:20SPEAKER_00: I don't know if that's actually where the coffee comes from, but that's like where I put myself.
- 19:24SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, this is amazing.
- 19:27SPEAKER_00: And for that moment, it's just like this pure bliss.
- 19:31SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, okay, now back on with You know, it's like a commercial break for my life.
- 19:37SPEAKER_00: And how do I create more commercial breaks in my daily routine?
- 19:40SPEAKER_00: I always, if I feel uninspired, first thing I do when I know this about myself is I get outside.
- 19:45SPEAKER_00: That's just always going to help.
- 19:47SPEAKER_00: I walk around the block really quickly feeling stuck or stifled or frustrated or, you know, I'm in my head about something.
- 19:55SPEAKER_00: I'm like, let's get out.
- 19:56SPEAKER_00: And, you know, A, get outside.
- 19:57SPEAKER_00: That's the first thing.
- 19:58SPEAKER_00: And B is help somebody else.
- 20:00SPEAKER_00: I do free calls all the time.
- 20:02SPEAKER_00: And people are like, oh, that's so nice.
- 20:04SPEAKER_00: I'm like, no, it's actually self-esteem for me to, like, get myself out of my own way so that I can remember why I'm doing this and remember that.
- 20:14SPEAKER_00: you know, I think I get a certain, well, I'll just speak for myself, but I get so caught up in helping millions of people.
- 20:21SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, the millions start with one.
- 20:24SPEAKER_00: You know, it's like, why don't you just start with one?
- 20:26SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 20:27SPEAKER_00: And bring that back.
- 20:28SPEAKER_00: And so when I'm talking, you know, for you guys, selfishly, I love being on your podcast because I just get to interact with amazing people.
- 20:34SPEAKER_00: Like that, you know, that's what I love to do.
- 20:37SPEAKER_00: We love you for that comment.
- 20:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 20:40SPEAKER_00: As we're still sitting here having bad moments.
- 20:50SPEAKER_00: do this, how lucky we are to be able to interact with people, you know, because they're so far away from me, you know, and we get to have conversations about what really matters, and these conversations, I don't care if, you know, 20,000 people listen to it, it doesn't matter, what matters to me is that one person listens to it, and collectively you know lift their vibe a little bit or they get some inspiration and to do something to move to get outside to help somebody that is what this is about and to really bring it back to that is what all of us are here for that's what we're doing this for and I think we get so easy to get caught up in the numbers and the downloads and the money and the bank accounts and the you know all that stuff and it just it gets, you know, I get bogged down all the time.
- 21:38SPEAKER_00: And that's why I think for me is that's what bringing fun back into the equation is just, well, why do it if it's not going to be fun?
- 21:47SPEAKER_00: Well, yeah.
- 21:47SPEAKER_00: And that's the interesting piece you brought up.
- 21:49SPEAKER_00: Cause we actually brought that up today, you know, that we do these podcasts, uh, to share, right.
- 21:54SPEAKER_00: And, um, laura lee and i are the kind of women who are not afraid to ask you know like um she's gone out of her way laura lee's been out of her way to talk to people that um i didn't even have the courage yet to speak to and um that's powerful i think when you're like hey notice me i got a question i want to do something how did you get where you're going to go and that's one of the reasons why we do this and we get more benefit of it i mean it's a day of recording for us today and We are getting more out of it than anything else.
- 22:27SPEAKER_00: But what impact is that going to have on our lives that maybe we don't even think about, right?
- 22:31SPEAKER_00: That we created a day to create a platform to bring other people to, you know, people that maybe would never have introduced.
- 22:37SPEAKER_00: I mean, I found you...
- 22:39SPEAKER_00: on a podcast, right?
- 22:41SPEAKER_00: Because I went looking for a podcast because someone sent me a podcast and wandered my way around and, you know, we discovered you.
- 22:48SPEAKER_00: So, you know, way leads on to way and I think we have to remember that and the power of that.
- 22:53SPEAKER_00: So, anyway, Lorelei, is there anything else you want to ask this fabulous woman?
- 22:57SPEAKER_00: Because I love it.
- 22:57SPEAKER_00: We've already hit our 25-minute mark.
- 23:01SPEAKER_00: How does that happen?
- 23:02SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 23:02SPEAKER_00: Well, I think so far we've really been asking at the end, what is your last piece of advice that you would I'd love to leave with any listeners that are listening.
- 23:13SPEAKER_00: What is something that you feel that people just have
- 23:15SPEAKER_01: to know?
- 23:41SPEAKER_00: Okay, Phoebe, can I just interrupt you for one second?
- 23:44SPEAKER_00: You got really quiet.
- 23:45SPEAKER_00: Has your microphone adjusted in any kind of way?
- 24:15SPEAKER_01: There we
- 24:16SPEAKER_00: go.
- 24:16SPEAKER_00: Hold on.
- 24:20SPEAKER_00: Hey, this is reality right here, right now.
- 24:26SPEAKER_01: Nope.
- 24:27SPEAKER_01: Nope.
- 24:28SPEAKER_01: It was.
- 24:28SPEAKER_01: I can hear you now.
- 24:37SPEAKER_01: There you go.
- 24:38SPEAKER_00: Really?
- 24:39SPEAKER_00: I actually don't even have my microphone on.
- 24:43SPEAKER_00: There you go.
- 24:44SPEAKER_00: That's how we can hear you.
- 24:45SPEAKER_00: So we'll let you wrap it up that way.
- 24:47SPEAKER_00: Okay, perfect.
- 24:47SPEAKER_00: So basically work on the inner stuff first.
- 24:51SPEAKER_00: I find that so many people tend to look outwards for the new, the latest and greatest templates or the, you know, The coaches, the communities and stuff like that and what it really comes down to for me personally is I need the people around me that are going to help lift me up personally so that I can work on my own stuff because we know that our businesses, our outer world reflects our inner world.
- 25:16SPEAKER_00: Outer chaos dictates or shows us inner chaos.
- 25:21SPEAKER_00: So really dig deep.
- 25:23SPEAKER_00: Go to surround yourself with people that are going to lift you up.
- 25:26SPEAKER_00: surround yourself with people who have a message that really resonates with you and find out how to be more, spend more time with them, right?
- 25:35SPEAKER_00: That's always what I'm looking to do is to bring people into in real life situations in person so that I can work on me and to be of best service is when I'm at my highest place.
- 25:48SPEAKER_00: So that's going to be my piece of advice.
- 25:54SPEAKER_01: Amazing.
- 25:55SPEAKER_00: Thank you for that.
- 25:56SPEAKER_00: I think that was beautiful advice.
- 25:59SPEAKER_00: It's definitely something that I'm actively working on myself right now, and I believe Candice's as well.
- 26:06SPEAKER_00: So with that, Phoebe, thank you so much.
- 26:09SPEAKER_00: We know you're a busy lady, so we're going to let you go.
- 26:11SPEAKER_00: And yes, please share.
- 26:16SPEAKER_00: How do people find you before you leave?

- 27:18SPEAKER_00: People are knocking the social media, right?
- 27:20SPEAKER_00: But I'm like, no, there's a need for us to connect, and we're using that.
- 27:25SPEAKER_00: So anyway, we're going to unleash you to go on with your day, to continue your unbecoming journey, and to continue sharing with us.
