Transcript
- 0:00Dayna Roselli: Welcome everyone to episode 208 of Vegas Revealed.
- 0:04Dayna Roselli: Dana Roselli and John McAllister here.
- 0:07Dayna Roselli: I know, I know we've been off on our days of when we're posting our episodes, but we've been doing some super, super bold coverage lately.
- 0:16Dayna Roselli: Some of you have written us, said you're loving it, and we had to wrap it up.
- 0:19Dayna Roselli: So it doesn't make sense to wrap it next weekend.
- 0:21Dayna Roselli: Sean and I are here to discuss.
- 0:23Sean McAllister: Yeah, and this is kind of a special uh twofer episode.
- 0:29Sean McAllister: We're uh recording what you're hearing right now, but then we have a second half of this episode that we recorded as a video podcast.
- 0:39Sean McAllister: Um, and you'll hear the audio of that.
- 0:41Sean McAllister: If you want to look at the visuals that go along with it, you can go to our Vegas Revealed YouTube channel.
- 0:46Dayna Roselli: Yeah, we felt we needed to do a visual podcast because we got in so much video, some of it exclusive, of all the after-party action happening after the Super Bowl win, the Chiefs after party over at Zook Nightclub at Resorts World.
- 1:02Dayna Roselli: We got some um video of Usher Inn over at XS doing a little roller skating.
- 1:09Dayna Roselli: Plus, we take you inside, which is gonna be rare because no phones are allowed.
- 1:13Dayna Roselli: We take you inside the Pinky Ring, Bruno Mars's new jazz lounge over at the Bellagio.
- 1:21Sean McAllister: Yeah, we'll get to all that, but Dana, uh, we want to start with talking about all of the records that have been broken by Super Bowl 58 here in Las Vegas.
- 1:32Sean McAllister: Viewership records, uh betting records.
- 1:36Sean McAllister: I mean, there's a lot of big numbers associated with Super Bowl here in Las Vegas.
- 1:42Sean McAllister: The first ever Super Bowl I'll mention here in Las Vegas, but let's start with the viewership.
- 1:49Sean McAllister: I mean, it's incredible the numbers that have come out post-game.
- 1:53Sean McAllister: We've had an average of 123.7 million viewers in on average who tuned in to watch the game.
- 2:04Dayna Roselli: And I think those numbers are very preliminary, right?
- 2:06Dayna Roselli: Too.
- 2:06Dayna Roselli: So like it could go up.
- 2:08Dayna Roselli: Plus, I think you've got to factor in all the streaming.
- 2:10Dayna Roselli: In addition, I know there were streaming, but they're still like calculating stuff.
- 2:13Dayna Roselli: So I mean that that's a high number.
- 2:15Sean McAllister: It's a very high number, and it um is up seven percent over Super Bowl from last year, which is a pretty significant jump, I would say.
- 2:25Sean McAllister: Um, at some portions of the the game, there were more than 200 million people watching.
- 2:30Dayna Roselli: Wow.
- 2:31Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it's the highest number of people watching the same broadcast in the history of television, which is incredible.
- 2:38Dayna Roselli: The Apollo 11 moon landing landing in 1969 was up there.
- 2:46Dayna Roselli: Now, we were looking at the numbers, and I feel like in 1969 it was a little harder to pinpoint numbers.
- 2:52Sean McAllister: True.
- 2:52Dayna Roselli: Um, you know, lack of technology, and they're kind of like, I think it said like it was numbers in between like 125 million to 150.
- 3:00Dayna Roselli: But here's the difference that moon landing was on several networks ABC, NBC, CBS.
- 3:07Dayna Roselli: That's the only thing that was on television at the time.
- 3:09Dayna Roselli: So you could watch ABC, you could watch it on CBS, but you know, the Super Bowl was just on CBS on one channel.
- 3:18Dayna Roselli: Then they had the additional streaming, um, which you would have to go to the app and everything like that.
- 3:22Dayna Roselli: But um so this was, you know, a single broadcast, and like you said, it broke the record the most watched in history.
- 3:30Sean McAllister: Jeez, I mean, that's just remarkable.
- 3:34Sean McAllister: And if uh the NFL wasn't thinking about coming back before, they certainly are now.
- 3:40Sean McAllister: Either that or they're they're heightening their plans and being like, uh, how can we get back to Vegas sooner?
- 3:47Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 3:47Sean McAllister: I would like to see Vegas host the Super Bowl every other year.
- 3:50Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and you were honestly you were saying there was uh some c columist or commentator that was kind of like negative about it, and we kind of shut them up, didn't we?
- 3:59Sean McAllister: Well, yeah, I mean, there have been a lot of Las Vegas haters in the lead up to the game saying, oh, Vegas is just gonna be a distraction for the teams, for the players, the it's gonna get really rowdy and crazy.
- 4:11Sean McAllister: People were going off of this sin city concept and don't realize that that stuff aside, yes, people come here and they let go of their inhibitions, have a great time.
- 4:26Sean McAllister: But at the core of Las Vegas is just a really great hospitality destination that knows how to put on big events and wants to put on big events.
- 4:38Dayna Roselli: And I mean, let's just be honest, that after party was iconic.
- 4:44Dayna Roselli: Listen, in Las Vegas, you can get chicken wings at 5 a.m.
- 4:47Dayna Roselli: That's what Taylor and Travis did.
- 4:49Sean McAllister: They sure did.
- 4:50Dayna Roselli: Usher, hey, you know what?
- 4:52Dayna Roselli: He went and got married before he went to the after party.
- 4:55Dayna Roselli: Why not?
- 4:56Dayna Roselli: It's Vegas, baby.
- 4:57Dayna Roselli: I mean, so much can happen here.
- 5:00Dayna Roselli: I think that just adds to the fun.
- 5:02Sean McAllister: It really does.
- 5:03Sean McAllister: And uh betting numbers that are through the roof as well.
- 5:07Sean McAllister: $185.6 million was wagered in sports books across the state of Nevada.
- 5:13Sean McAllister: The bulk of that uh here in Las Vegas.
- 5:16Sean McAllister: The previous record was in 2022 when just under$180 million was wagered.
- 5:25Sean McAllister: So, you know, I mean, that's a huge increase there as well.
- 5:29Dayna Roselli: I mean, yeah, what a success.
- 5:30Dayna Roselli: We, you know, and we have hospitality like no other.
- 5:34Dayna Roselli: And uh I think we broke records in so many different ways that the NFL will be back, that's for sure.
- 5:40Sean McAllister: Oh, with without a doubt.
- 5:42Dayna Roselli: And as we've mentioned over and over, it's just so well organized.
- 5:46Dayna Roselli: We loved it, everything went smooth.
- 5:47Dayna Roselli: I think you and I quickly eyed, like, even to see if like there were any like major incidents or arrests, it was very minor.
- 5:54Dayna Roselli: Um, I know they had like a DUI, uh, what do you call it?
- 5:58Dayna Roselli: Checkpoint, you know, when they they arrested some people there.
- 6:01Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 6:01Dayna Roselli: Um, you know, we had at one point someone climbing the sphere.
- 6:05Sean McAllister: Someone climbed the sphere.
- 6:06Sean McAllister: There were two guys who ran onto the field.
- 6:08Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 6:09Sean McAllister: Um, but there were no major uh incidents infractions, no, which is great.
- 6:16Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 6:17Dayna Roselli: We were prepared.
- 6:18Dayna Roselli: Um, and you know, it's a safe city and we love it, and we appreciate all the messages that you guys have sent us, enjoying our coverage.
- 6:26Dayna Roselli: We kind of did a little bit of everything, and I I noticed most of the feedback people like that.
- 6:31Dayna Roselli: Really well-rounded coverage.
- 6:33Dayna Roselli: You know, we did a little bit of the game and the player stuff, we did a little bit of the celebrity and entertainment, we did some food, we did, you know, we tried to cover it and be as well-rounded as we could.
- 6:43Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 6:43Sean McAllister: And of course, now that the game uh and Super Bowl week has passed, we are getting a glimpse at uh all of the post-game celebrations, and that's what you're going to be experiencing now in the second portion of this episode.
- 7:01Dayna Roselli: Yeah, we actually recorded this on Monday night, so it's very fresh.
- 7:06Dayna Roselli: Again, if you want to see the visuals that go along with it, you can go to our Vegas Revealed YouTube.
- 7:11Dayna Roselli: We have posted it there.
- 7:13Dayna Roselli: But let's roll into that.
- 7:14Dayna Roselli: And again, thanks everyone.
- 7:16Dayna Roselli: This is episode 208.
- 7:18Dayna Roselli: We'll be back for 209 in about a week.
- 7:23Sean McAllister: It is the Victory Party PDA that is burning up online.
- 7:27Sean McAllister: Of course, we're talking about Travis Kelsey and Taylor Swift post Super Bowl 58 here in Las Vegas.
- 7:35Sean McAllister: Welcome to Vegas Revealed.
- 7:36Sean McAllister: I'm Sean McAllister, along with Dana Roselli.
- 7:39Sean McAllister: Yeah, what a cute video.
- 7:40Dayna Roselli: They were so cozy at Zook Nightclub over at Resorts World.
- 7:45Dayna Roselli: Got this video in, and I thought, oh my gosh, this is so cute.
- 7:48Dayna Roselli: What a blast they had.
- 7:50Dayna Roselli: It was nice to see Taylor out.
- 7:51Dayna Roselli: This was different.
- 7:52Sean McAllister: Well, it seemed like she really let her hair down and was being herself.
- 7:56Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 7:57Sean McAllister: Is what it looked like to me, and having some great moments to celebrate Travis, celebrate being together for this moment.
- 8:04Sean McAllister: It just seemed really sweet all the way around.
- 8:07Dayna Roselli: It did.
- 8:07Dayna Roselli: And congratulations to Travis Kelsey and the Kansas City Chiefs.
- 8:11Dayna Roselli: A win in overtime.
- 8:13Dayna Roselli: That was iconic.
- 8:14Dayna Roselli: Of course, Vegas, we always have to have a big moment.
- 8:16Sean McAllister: Well, and I know the people who I was watching with, uh, they were like, going to overtime in the first Super Bowl hosted in Las Vegas is kind of like the most non-Vegas thing you can do.
- 8:29Sean McAllister: Because Vegas shows and productions are always set for like 90 minutes, so you can make sure that everybody gets back to the gambling floor.
- 8:37Sean McAllister: Right.
- 8:38Sean McAllister: Gets back to the casino.
- 8:39Sean McAllister: But no, Super Bowl 58 stretched it out a little bit.
- 8:42Dayna Roselli: Sure did, and I'm sure more food was bought, more drinks were bought, and it was good for the stadium.
- 8:47Dayna Roselli: So whatever, right?
- 8:48Dayna Roselli: Hey, uh, we're gonna get all into we have so many great uh mixed-in exclusive videos that people have been and wanting to share of ours, but we're gonna show them all here on Vegas Revealed.
- 9:00Dayna Roselli: But um, a couple things about inside the stadium, so many celebrities.
- 9:03Dayna Roselli: I know you were making a list, and I was making a list, and we were like, gosh, I feel like this was a huge celebrity turnout.
- 9:10Dayna Roselli: It always is, it's not different.
- 9:12Dayna Roselli: There's always many, many celebrities at Super Bowl, but I feel like maybe we had more than normal.
- 9:17Sean McAllister: I mean, uh the the list that I have here doesn't even this isn't even everybody, but we're talking Taylor Swift, Blake Lively, Ice Spice, Paul McCartney, Gordon Ramsey, Lizzo, Bad Bunny, Henry Cavill, Wayne Newton, Dan Reynolds, Carrot Top, Justin Bieber, Beyonce, Jay-Z, Jelly Roll, Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, Guy Fieti, Queen Latifah, Jimmy Kimmel, and the list literally goes on and on.
- 9:42Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 9:42Dayna Roselli: Did you say Jay-Z?
- 9:43Dayna Roselli: You did say Jay-Z.
- 9:44Dayna Roselli: I guess Machine Gun Kelly, uh, 21 Savish, Red Hot Chili Peppers were all at the Winfield Club.
- 9:50Dayna Roselli: Um, so it was, yeah, it was a turnout.
- 9:52Sean McAllister: I mean, wherever you went, there were celebrities.
- 9:56Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 9:56Dayna Roselli: And can we talk about Jeff Goldblum?
- 9:58Sean McAllister: Oh my gosh, what a great moment.
- 10:00Sean McAllister: Jeff Goldblum and Leo DiCaprio both there, yeah.
- 10:02Dayna Roselli: I loved it.
- 10:03Dayna Roselli: Him on the Jumbotron was one of my favorite moments of Super Bowl, living it up.
- 10:07Dayna Roselli: I keep watching the video over and over.
- 10:08Dayna Roselli: It makes me smile.
- 10:10Dayna Roselli: I absolutely loved that moment.
- 10:12Dayna Roselli: Um, yeah, the Jumbotron, that was there were some moments there.
- 10:16Dayna Roselli: Justin Bieber kissing, you know, Hallie Bieber, his wife.
- 10:19Dayna Roselli: Although she kind of put her hand up and I was like, come on.
- 10:21Dayna Roselli: He was trying to make a moment, you know, highlight his lady.
- 10:24Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 10:24Dayna Roselli: So I was um I was feeling bad for Justin there.
- 10:27Dayna Roselli: But yeah, what a turnout and and what a halftime show with Usher, who has had, you know, a show here on the Las Vegas Strip uh for a while now.
- 10:35Dayna Roselli: He was over at the Coliseum at Caesars Palace and also over at Park MGM.
- 10:39Sean McAllister: Yeah, and the uh celebrity appearances in his halftime show, we had Alicia Keys, Will I Am, Jermaine Dupree, uh Little John, and of course Luda.
- 10:51Sean McAllister: Yep.
- 10:52Dayna Roselli: And a side note, I went to Fountain Blue on Saturday.
- 10:55Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and had dinner at Komodo, and Alicia Keys was there.
- 10:58Dayna Roselli: So she was there on Saturday night, yeah, eating over there.
- 11:01Dayna Roselli: Um yeah, no, I liked, I thought the uh halftime show was very um uh familiar and similar to his actual show on the strip, didn't you?
- 11:11Sean McAllister: It was, and I I kind of liked that the roller skates came out, yeah, to be honest.
- 11:15Sean McAllister: I was like, yes, here we go.
- 11:17Dayna Roselli: And everyone's talking about that too.
- 11:19Dayna Roselli: And it's interesting because I was just talking to uh one of the hosts over at Excess Nightclub.
- 11:24Dayna Roselli: They had a party last night, um, and Usher appeared there as well.
- 11:27Dayna Roselli: It was like Snoop Dogg and all sorts of celebrities, and the Chiefs ended up uh showing up there too.
- 11:32Dayna Roselli: But they actually built a roller skating rink out in the back in the pool area.
- 11:37Dayna Roselli: So roller skating, Usher is bringing back roller skating.
- 11:41Sean McAllister: He is.
- 11:41Sean McAllister: I mean, he's shooting the duck left and right.
- 11:43Dayna Roselli: Yeah, so that was uh pretty cool.
- 11:45Dayna Roselli: And hey, why not?
- 11:46Dayna Roselli: I loved roller skating, so I'm all for it.
- 11:48Dayna Roselli: But yeah, I thought that was um good.
- 11:51Dayna Roselli: Um, but yeah, like I said, reminiscent of the show that we've seen.
- 11:54Dayna Roselli: So for us, we're a little spoiled.
- 11:56Dayna Roselli: So, but I think people seem to like it.
- 11:58Sean McAllister: Yeah, they did.
- 11:59Sean McAllister: And I do want to mention, we're recapping everything that happened, uh, Super Bowl and post-Super Bowl, but we do want to remind you that we have three audio episodes of Vegas revealed uh up on any podcasting platform of our pre-Super Bowl coverage, and we have some good interviews, insights, and experiences that are packed into those three episodes as well.
- 12:22Dayna Roselli: Definitely.
- 12:22Dayna Roselli: We we really we hustled all week long.
- 12:25Dayna Roselli: Um, it's been a lot of fun.
- 12:26Dayna Roselli: We got to meet Bobby Flay at his restaurant, Brasserie B over at Caesars Palace.
- 12:30Dayna Roselli: We did a segment for KCal over there.
- 12:32Dayna Roselli: That was a lot of fun to see Bobby.
- 12:35Dayna Roselli: Um, back to some of the videos that we got in from Zook.
- 12:38Dayna Roselli: So many good ones.
- 12:39Dayna Roselli: First, uh, first of all, one that I wanted to show is Post Malone on stage singing.
- 12:43Dayna Roselli: And man, he sounds good.
- 12:45Dayna Roselli: The crowd's going crazy.
- 12:46Dayna Roselli: Again, this was a Chiefs party, but it was it was kind of a private event.
- 12:50Dayna Roselli: You know, they got their trophy, uh, they were celebrating Post Malone up there on stage.
- 12:56Dayna Roselli: Then check out this moment.
- 12:57Dayna Roselli: Uh, this is Brittany Mahomes actually taking off her Chiefs jacket, giving it to Post Malone, getting him to take his cowboys jacket off, right, and getting him to put that on uh and switch it up, and the crowd went crazy for that too.
- 13:12Dayna Roselli: So that was fun.
- 13:13Dayna Roselli: Obviously, Patrick Mahomes there getting his uh holding the trophy.
- 13:17Dayna Roselli: I mean, the team was just, you know, obviously having a good time.
- 13:21Sean McAllister: Well, I thought it was so fun that not only did the 40, no, the Chiefs, sorry, uh get their trophy presentation at Allegiance Stadium, but then there was a whole other trophy presentation for the after party over there at Resorts World.
- 13:35Sean McAllister: I thought that was really cool that they kept that energy and spirit going.
- 13:39Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 13:39Sean McAllister: Especially um for the crowd of people there who didn't see it happen in person at the stadium.
- 13:46Dayna Roselli: Yeah, yeah, definitely.
- 13:47Dayna Roselli: I mean, Taylor Swift, uh, we've got tons of videos then of her just enjoying herself.
- 13:51Dayna Roselli: Let's put some of those up.
- 13:52Dayna Roselli: I mean, she was, you know, it's funny because they kept putting her music on in a little DJ mix, you know what I mean?
- 13:58Dayna Roselli: And she was enjoying it.
- 14:00Dayna Roselli: She played along.
- 14:01Dayna Roselli: And I what you always wonder like, is that embarrassing, or you know, do you're like, yeah, and just go with it?
- 14:08Dayna Roselli: And she went with it.
- 14:09Sean McAllister: She went with it.
- 14:09Sean McAllister: And you know, that is kind of the the spirit that made me so happy watching these videos, just going, having fun in an environment where you're just there to let loose and enjoy.
- 14:22Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 14:22Dayna Roselli: And you know, she she came from overseas, she's going back to Australia to continue her tour.
- 14:27Dayna Roselli: She's she's been a busy girl, obviously, a little easier uh for her than some, you know, private jets and all that kind of thing.
- 14:34Dayna Roselli: So I think she's okay.
- 14:36Dayna Roselli: But um, you know, and it it's it's interesting because so many people talk about Taler and Travis, like enough already.
- 14:42Dayna Roselli: Stop shoving it down my throat, and it can get to be a lot, but I think this moment was was really just a moment that you can't help but cheer them on for most people.
- 14:52Dayna Roselli: I know some people are like, I am over it, let's get back to football.
- 14:58Dayna Roselli: Yes.
- 14:58Dayna Roselli: Um, but I mean it's just they they are showing a mutual love for each other and support.
- 15:04Dayna Roselli: They do two completely different things, but yet are, you know, very, very famous.
- 15:09Dayna Roselli: But I think when you see one person supporting the other and vice versa, he's going to her show, she's going to his moments.
- 15:16Dayna Roselli: I think that's what a relationship's about, and that's kind of a relationship goal for many people.
- 15:21Dayna Roselli: And it's kind of putting that spotlight on them.
- 15:24Sean McAllister: Well, even um looking at relationships of a different kind in the um pregame show and the pregame coverage leading up to Super Bowl, um, one of the reports was about how Taylor's involvement with Travis Kelsey is like opening up this whole new relationship with dads and daughters.
- 15:45Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 15:46Sean McAllister: You know, that maybe they didn't have that kind of connection when dad was sitting down to watch football before, but now the little girls are interested and Taylor's a good role model, and it's just a great bonding moment for for dads and daughters.
- 15:59Sean McAllister: And I thought that was a a really cool perspective.
- 16:02Dayna Roselli: Yeah, uh it's it's true.
- 16:04Dayna Roselli: It's opened up a whole new audience, that's for sure.
- 16:06Dayna Roselli: And and I'm sure the NFL is happy about that, you know.
- 16:09Dayna Roselli: And I don't even think they showed Taylor enough during the game.
- 16:12Dayna Roselli: I started to feel like, okay, now I'm kind of curious what she's up to.
- 16:15Dayna Roselli: Um because the game was, you know, kind of slow until the end.
- 16:18Dayna Roselli: And I was like, can we get more shots of Taylor?
- 16:22Dayna Roselli: Yeah, yeah.
- 16:23Dayna Roselli: So um, but you know, they did a good job of balancing it out and showing everyone else uh that was there.
- 16:29Dayna Roselli: So that was great.
- 16:29Dayna Roselli: I thought I think um Allegiant Stadium, the Super Bowl committee, the NFL, Las Vegas in general did a great job.
- 16:36Dayna Roselli: Everyone's raving about how organized it was, how uh things moved along, how they felt safe.
- 16:41Dayna Roselli: I felt the same exact way.
- 16:43Sean McAllister: Yeah, and um we're recording on uh uh the Monday, the morning after Super Bowl, and Roger Goodell uh came out this morning in the news conference, in the in the passing of the baton news conference.
- 16:55Sean McAllister: Um, New Orleans has the next Super Bowl.
- 16:58Sean McAllister: And he even said he was like, you know what?
- 17:00Sean McAllister: The hospitality that we've had here in Las Vegas, I don't see how the NFL doesn't come back for more big games.
- 17:08Sean McAllister: Right.
- 17:08Sean McAllister: So which we knew that Las Vegas would kind of be in the rotation of regular cities, but I think it really did show off.
- 17:16Sean McAllister: Just what a great fan experience it is to have Super Bowl in Las Vegas.
- 17:22Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I totally agree.
- 17:23Dayna Roselli: I I know they'll be back.
- 17:25Dayna Roselli: Um I think it was a success all around, and and I loved that.
- 17:29Sean McAllister: Something else, another star-studded event that that happened over Super Bowl weekend.
- 17:34Sean McAllister: Bruno Marr's new jazz club Pinky Ring opened up inside of Bellagio with a very exclusive uh celebrity-packed event.
- 17:43Dayna Roselli: Yeah, that Saturday night, um, losing track of my days, the night before Super Bowl Sunday.
- 17:49Dayna Roselli: Yeah, uh, we're hearing that Babyface was there.
- 17:52Dayna Roselli: Um, also Gail King was there, Bruno Mars performed, uh, I think it was Janelle Monet.
- 17:59Dayna Roselli: Trying to think of the list.
- 18:00Dayna Roselli: There were a lot of people there, but um, you know, it's interesting because apparently um I know someone that was there, and and she was saying that the inside is gorgeous.
- 18:08Dayna Roselli: But she said, you know, one thing that he is adamant about, as Bruno Mars always is, is no pictures, no videos.
- 18:14Dayna Roselli: Really, even inside the club.
- 18:15Dayna Roselli: Even inside the club.
- 18:16Dayna Roselli: Wow.
- 18:17Dayna Roselli: And they say they like literally, I think he put up a sign.
- 18:19Dayna Roselli: I'll have to look on his Instagram.
- 18:20Dayna Roselli: This is like whatever happens in Pinky Ring stays in Pinkie.
- 18:24Dayna Roselli: It's like so Pinky Ring, you know, the whole Vegas slogan, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.
- 18:28Dayna Roselli: Literally, no phones.
- 18:30Dayna Roselli: I mean, I I don't know if it's no phones or just no pictures and video.
- 18:33Dayna Roselli: I think you can bring your phone in there, but if you're caught taking video or pictures, something like that.
- 18:37Dayna Roselli: Uh we'll have to see how that works.
- 18:39Sean McAllister: Well, listen, it's worked for Bruno's residency.
- 18:42Sean McAllister: He has never allowed phones inside uh of his shows over at Park MGM, and it does build kind of an allure.
- 18:49Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 18:50Sean McAllister: It makes it hard to uh show somebody who hasn't been to the show yet what they're in for.
- 18:56Sean McAllister: But uh really all you can say is that you're gonna be up on your feet.
- 19:00Sean McAllister: You're going to whether you know the words to the songs or not, it there's just a vibe that gets you up and moving.
- 19:07Sean McAllister: And I feel like that's gonna be the same vibe inside Pinky Ring.
- 19:11Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and I think he's gonna show up every now and then.
- 19:13Sean McAllister: Well, his band, the hooligans, are uh gonna be performing there for the first two weeks that the club is open, which is now for another two weeks.
- 19:23Sean McAllister: So um that's pretty cool too, that you can go and see Bruno's band, and like you said, it would not be surprising if he popped up there with them.
- 19:30Dayna Roselli: Yeah, so uh lots of stuff.
- 19:32Dayna Roselli: There was a huge event at Fountain Blue.
- 19:35Dayna Roselli: The Saturday I was there.
- 19:36Dayna Roselli: Um, Mark Davis held this dinner show.
- 19:39Dayna Roselli: And it was interesting.
- 19:40Dayna Roselli: I was talking to the general manager of the restaurant I was at, Komodo, and he was saying, You've gotta see inside.
- 19:45Dayna Roselli: And I've seen some videos now, but like it literally was set up like Allegiant Stadium.
- 19:50Dayna Roselli: It looked like the, you know, the stage was in front of the stadium.
- 19:53Dayna Roselli: Um, Lady Gaga performed, uh, Diana Ross, Jay Leno was there.
- 19:57Dayna Roselli: I think Wanda Sykes did some stand-up.
- 20:00Dayna Roselli: Um, Mark Davis was there.
- 20:02Dayna Roselli: Um, also Elaine Wynne was there, and Jeffrey Soffer from The Fountain Blue, and Miriam Adelson.
- 20:08Dayna Roselli: So it was a powerhouse.
- 20:09Sean McAllister: Oh, yeah.
- 20:10Sean McAllister: People were saying this is probably like the richest party that has ever happened in the history of Las Vegas, just with the the caliber of guests who were there and they're uh buying power.
- 20:21Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 20:22Sean McAllister: Um, but it was also kind of Oh, and Tom Brady.
- 20:25Dayna Roselli: He was Tom Brady, yeah.
- 20:27Sean McAllister: Um, I heard people kind of referring to the room setup as kind of a throwback to old Vegas, like the Circus Maximus showroom over at Caesars Palace, where you did have like a dinner table and a show was happening in front of you.
- 20:40Sean McAllister: That was the the vibe that they were going for.
- 20:42Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 20:43Sean McAllister: It seems like they knocked it out of the park.
- 20:45Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 20:45Dayna Roselli: I mean, bring that back.
- 20:46Dayna Roselli: Let's have more dinner shows.
- 20:47Dayna Roselli: I'm all for that.
- 20:48Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and maybe this is a vision that Mark Davis wants to, you know, make something permanent out of that.
- 20:53Dayna Roselli: Anyway, uh, we'll see.
- 20:55Dayna Roselli: But yeah, it looked really, really cool.
- 20:56Dayna Roselli: So much went on, you know, there was Shaq's fun.
- 20:58Dayna Roselli: I mean, it's just endless.
- 21:00Dayna Roselli: Kanye had some party across the street from the win last night, rented out that space that they did, the other party Friday and Saturday, that we had talked about on the podcast, um, which was David Getta and Jack Harlow and stuff like that.
- 21:12Dayna Roselli: I guess the lot was there, the tents were up, and so about 1,200 people went and he like played music from his phone.
- 21:18Dayna Roselli: I don't know.
- 21:20Dayna Roselli: We'll leave that up to those who who went to that and and enjoyed that moment.
- 21:24Sean McAllister: And obviously, uh a lot of these parties were very exclusive, hard to get into.
- 21:30Sean McAllister: A lot of people who came into town for Super Bowl weren't in attendance at those.
- 21:35Sean McAllister: But I've gotta say, I think the overall fan experience of uh Super Bowl 58 was incredible.
- 21:42Sean McAllister: I mean, there were always things happening and going on to keep people uh entertained leading up to the game.
- 21:50Sean McAllister: You know, from uh you know, I stopped over at the Paramount experience that was built in front of uh the Mirage.
- 21:58Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 21:58Sean McAllister: And they turned the volcano into that Paramount Mountain.
- 22:01Sean McAllister: A lot of uh CBS, Paramount Plus shows, Nickelodeon were all on display there.
- 22:07Sean McAllister: Um we stopped by the Yellowstone Ranch uh set up and got branded uh beer koozies, branded leather beer koozies with our names branded into them.
- 22:19Sean McAllister: Um 1923, the sister show of uh Yellowstone, the prequel.
- 22:23Sean McAllister: Uh they had a fun little photo op in there.
- 22:26Sean McAllister: Um there's the the show The Challenge that premiered on MTV back in the day and is still going strong.
- 22:32Sean McAllister: Um we did one of those challenges and competed and actually won the the people who were working the game uh told Shane, my husband, and I that we were the first people to complete the challenge.
- 22:47Sean McAllister: Oh my gosh in the three-minute time period.
- 22:49Sean McAllister: And we were like, are you kidding me?
- 22:50Sean McAllister: This is great.
- 22:51Sean McAllister: Where do we sign up to be on the show?
- 22:53Sean McAllister: Survivor had a uh um a booth set up there, so that was really fun, and that's the kind of thing that that visitors had to do, and it was free to get in.
- 23:04Sean McAllister: So it's great.
- 23:05Dayna Roselli: And I know kids were free to go to the NFL experience, and I saw so many people bringing their kids there, and it looked like they had a blast, right?
- 23:11Dayna Roselli: Yep.
- 23:12Dayna Roselli: Um, my my friend, um, her cousins were in town.
- 23:15Dayna Roselli: They went to the Guy Fieti Talgate, said it was great, sent us a video.
- 23:19Dayna Roselli: They got up on stage with Diplo and were able to watch from the background, and they had a blast.
- 23:24Dayna Roselli: They said it was it was awesome.
- 23:26Sean McAllister: And I heard people who were down on the strip and then came to a a party off the strip a little later on, and they were like, Oh my gosh, we were down by the link, and it sounded like uh it sounded like Dustin Lynch was singing around there somewhere.
- 23:39Sean McAllister: We were like, He was singing down there or somewhere, he was right over there at Guy Fieti's tailgate.
- 23:44Dayna Roselli: So oh, and Blake Shelton went to Old Red and brought Gwen Stefani, and they were at the Super Bowl too, and you know, performed at Old Red.
- 23:51Sean McAllister: Right.
- 23:51Sean McAllister: So and even before uh as people were arriving to Allegiant Stadium pregame, they had a stage set up out there, and Gwen Stefani got up and performed a few songs out in front of the stadium.
- 24:05Sean McAllister: So it really was just a great vibe.
- 24:08Sean McAllister: Uh, I have not heard really any negatives from from fans who've been into town aside from the volume of traffic that flooded into Las Vegas Boulevard.
- 24:20Sean McAllister: There was some gridlock happening, but you know, we've said from the start use the monorail and walk.
- 24:25Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 24:26Dayna Roselli: Or or take rideshare.
- 24:27Dayna Roselli: I used rideshare to a couple places, not even one problem at all.
- 24:30Dayna Roselli: They knew what they were going, they took the back streets, and it was everyone trying to be on Las Vegas Boulevard.
- 24:36Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 24:36Dayna Roselli: Somebody posted, like, oh, I'm in a hurry, I'm stuck in travel.
- 24:38Dayna Roselli: I'm like, where are you gonna hurry to?
- 24:39Dayna Roselli: Why are you on Las Vegas Boulevard?
- 24:40Dayna Roselli: Don't go Las Vegas.
- 24:41Dayna Roselli: Especially if you're in a hurry.
- 24:42Dayna Roselli: Yeah, so a successful uh Super Bowl 58.
- 24:46Dayna Roselli: Thank you so much for joining us and coming along for the ride.
- 24:49Dayna Roselli: Um, let's leave the show with just a couple more videos and pictures that we've gotten in.
- 24:54Dayna Roselli: We have so much stuff to share with you.
- 24:56Dayna Roselli: Enjoy.
