- 3:39pictures to show you guys that Colleen sent me today, So let's see.
- 3:46Colleen Norris is of Northeast Ohio Cryptied Research. Okay, we're going to be
- 3:52talking about the grave digging dog Man today and all of her experience. She
- 3:57has over thirty years of crypted research and investigation under her belt, y'all,
- 4:01so please help me. Welcome to the show, my new friend Colleen Norris.
- 4:06Hey Colleen, Hi, thanks for having me. Oh I am so
- 4:12glad you're here. Thank you so much for joining us today. I've been
- 4:15talking about you a lot on the show, and I had the pleasure of
- 4:21actually putting out the information about the grave digging dog man that we've been looking
- 4:29into lately. And you have some connections to that. Would you like to
- 4:32tell us a little bit about about your connections and that'd be great. Millions
- 4:39of people have seen the video because it went viral a few years ago when
- 4:43it first came out, and I am the original owner of it. Now
- 4:48I want to reiterate that I did not take that one minute and eleven second
- 4:53video. I did not. I just happened to know the people that did,
- 4:59and they're actually friends of one of my daughters. They went to school
- 5:02together. Well. As I was telling Jessica, they were on a dinner
- 5:06break from a local restaurant that they used to work at, and I would
- 5:12say, I think they were still in high school or out of high school,
- 5:15and all were getting ready for college. Maybe I don't remember their exact
- 5:18ages, but they were driving through the Green Lawn Cemetery, I believe,
- 5:26having like a dinner break, and it was only i'm gonna say less than
- 5:31a half a mile or so from where they worked. They worked at the
- 5:34top of the hill. Green Lawn was farther down the hill, and so
- 5:40they're passing time, and it is a park like cemetery. It's a very
- 5:45pretty, very well manicured cemetery, and they were just driving around and they
- 5:51came past the mausoleum, and as they come past the mausoleum, they noticed
- 5:57somebody was on their knees digging a hole. And they started looking at it
- 6:01and watching it. But they didn't right away think to record it. They
- 6:05thought, well, let's watch and see what this is. And that's where
- 6:09they got the term that looked like a dirty lady. So one of them
- 6:13finally said, oh, let's see if we can get it on film.
- 6:15So she started running her camera phone and then she got one minute and eleven
- 6:21seconds of something that I truly believe would be a female dog man. We'll
- 6:30we'll back up a little bit and we'll get to everything. But they were
- 6:33seen in the area behind the cemetery and maybe a few miles from it,
- 6:39and they've been seen for a long time, only no one knew what they
- 6:43were. And since I had my card out and I feelers out and talk
- 6:49to people, I was getting quite a few few calls of folks that live
- 6:55in the Norton area. And this was before this video was captured. And
- 7:00I'm getting calls from people saying, hey, I just saw something that looks
- 7:03like a werewolf not too far from my house, and I don't like it.
- 7:08So I would interview with him, and it wouldn't be more than a
- 7:12few days later. There would be another call from someone that lives in the
- 7:16same nearby area, but they didn't know one another, and they said the
- 7:23same thing. One person said, I just saw some kind of strange looking
- 7:27dark figure stealing my windfall apples other folk. Uh. Another gentleman and this
- 7:34is kind of hard to describe, but he called me and he says,
- 7:40do you know where two sixty one is? I said, yeah, of
- 7:42course I do. It's about, you know, maybe half a mile or
- 7:45so from the cemetery itself. But anyway, I grew up in the area,
- 7:47so I know the area. So he's telling me that he watched a
- 7:54creature that scared to death and he saw it eating on a road kill deer
- 8:00on Ohio Route to sixty one, right near the town of Norton and not
- 8:07far from Akron, and again maybe half a mile or so from that cemetery,
- 8:11which we'll get to again. But he reiterated like three times that this
- 8:16thing, this thing had its arms wrapped around the torso of a deer and
- 8:24it was eating on it. And he said, I want you to understand
- 8:28that it did not have palls. He said, this thing had hands.
- 8:33It had actual fingers and hands, and it was eating on, munching on
- 8:39a rokilled deer. And he said it looked like something of a werewolf movie.
- 8:43He says, I looked at it through my side window, and he
- 8:48said, it looked up at me, and it scared me to death.
- 8:52And the only thing I could think was get out of here. Go.
- 8:56Don't even think about getting out and looking at it. But he says it
- 8:58looked like it was to eat him too. So anyway, that was just
- 9:01one of the things. You know, there were a lot of bad things
- 9:05that happened in the area around that same timeframe of the video. Now,
- 9:11by bad things, do you mean like animals being taken or wrote you know,
- 9:18people seeing what looked like dog men or were wolves running around. Was
- 9:22anyone hurt? What kind of bad things were happening? No, people that
- 9:26we know of were harmed, But at that time frame, and I'm going
- 9:30to say it was. I'm thinking it was late April, and I don't
- 9:33remember the year twenty seventeen, maybe, but bad things were going on.
- 9:39There were farm animals being reported stolen and found dead. There were a lot
- 9:45of local pets that were reported missing, and we saw signs all over the
- 9:50place for a while about missing dogs, missing cats, missing sheep, missing
- 9:56goats, chickens, other smaller you know, farm animals, not necessarily horses
- 10:03or anything like that. Lots of dogs and cats. Okay, wow,
- 10:09well that's seems kind of almost kind of typical of when people have you know
- 10:15what, there's a lot of bigfoot sightings to bigfoot and dog men. Do
- 10:18you guys have a lot of bigfoot sightings up there? There are several bigfoot
- 10:24sightings or what they call grassmen sightings now in the Norton area. I don't
- 10:30know too many bigfoots, okay, I've only been told about these dog men
- 10:35now in Portage County where I live, which is a Butt Summit county,
- 10:41there's quite a bit of bigfoot sightings. In fact, Portage County leads the
- 10:46state of Ohio in sightings and reports. M okay, Now, want to
- 10:52rewind just a little tiny bit because I jumped straight into the dog man story.
- 10:58But you have a long history of cryptid field research, and you you
- 11:03are part of the Northeast Ohio Cryptid Research Team, and so you you have
- 11:09been doing investigations and been in the You've been in the field for thirty years
- 11:13or more. Also, you have a rich history, and you know the
- 11:18cryptids of the area. I would assume, yeah, yes, oh,
- 11:24go ahead, No, go ahead, you go ahead. I grew up
- 11:28just south of Akron, near what they call the Portage Lakes areas and what
- 11:33they were, you know, back in the oh in the thirties and pre
- 11:37World War two. They were built basically to feed the rubber industries for water.
- 11:43So we have Portage Lakes, we have Misula Reservoir and things like that.
- 11:46Well, for years I was always told about these hairy men or grassmen,
- 11:54or some folks called them bigfoot, but the term really wasn't popular back
- 11:58then. Not too many people knew of it. You know. Just back
- 12:03up quite a bit. My parents moved to where they moved in Manchester,
- 12:07probably back in nineteen seventy two, I would think, and they bought a
- 12:11farmhouse from a lady who had just recently lost her husband, and we had
- 12:18older neighbors at the time, because you can imagine, it was a lot
- 12:20of farmland, and they warned us, and we used to think it was
- 12:26a joke, but they would actually warn us they watch out for the hairyman
- 12:28when you go across the lake to the you know, the reservoir area and
- 12:33all that, just watch out for the hairyman. Well, nobody really thought
- 12:37much of it, but we find out later by talking to many many people
- 12:43that's what they're called it. A hand in hand was something called the ken
- 12:48Moore grassman, and you can look that up. You can look that up
- 12:52on YouTube. You can actually look up that on other things. But yes,
- 12:58they coined the term kin Moore grass man because the way I understood it,
- 13:03the workers from Firestone and some of the other rubber companies they would look
- 13:09outside the windows and on their break and they would see dark figures running through
- 13:16the weeds and the tall grasses that are next to the Tuscaroras River and near
- 13:20the Portage Lakes, and no one could understand what they were, so they
- 13:24just kind of coined the term grassman. And again you have to kind of
- 13:30look at, oh, look at a topographical map, and you can see
- 13:37with your eyes the lay of the land. You can see the waterways.
- 13:43We have two great big rivers and they run from east to south and east
- 13:52to west, and that's the Cuyahoga River and the Tuscaroras River. And these
- 13:58two rivers real close to one another. They wanted to flow together, but
- 14:03the last ice age blocked them in in a town called in Summit County and
- 14:09actually Akron area. By blocking those two rivers in, they had to carve
- 14:15their own path. So the Tusk Rors wound up turning at Summit County and
- 14:20going south all the way down past Salt Fork where all the other stuff happens,
- 14:26and farther south, and while the Cuyahoga River wound up turning at in
- 14:35Summit and went north towards Cleveland by Lake Erie. But there's hundreds of swamps,
- 14:45lakes, marshes, bogs, there's stuff all over Summit County and parts
- 14:52of Portage County. But the average person doesn't know it because they're driving to
- 14:56and fro, so they go right near the stuff. I don't even realize
- 15:00it's there because they've just never ever been out in the woods looking around.
- 15:05Oh well, you've spent a lot of time out in the woods yourself and
- 15:09doing your research. So bigfoots had been the grassmen had kind of been established
- 15:15there for a while, but it seems like there was an uptech in what
- 15:18looked to be like werewolf sightings in Ohio and around your area. Now,
- 15:22when did this all come about? And why we'll just start with that question.
- 15:28When did the where wolf dog man phenomenon start? I can't truly answer
- 15:33that because that's other places where I'm not at now. I know that they've
- 15:39been seen around the Nton area for several years, but they never caused any
- 15:43problem. They had this area. It was near a major expressway, but
- 15:48it's also a swamp ground, marshland, woods, tall grasses, things like
- 15:54that, all in this one central area, and I think they lived there
- 15:58quite peace for quite a while, just like they lived in the place called
- 16:03the Silver Creek Park that's in Nortons, and you can look that up too.
- 16:07You actually find the story for the Silver Creek Park dog Man and it's
- 16:15very interesting and photographs that I sent Jessica in the snow of the White Prince
- 16:23and directly across the street from the Silver Lake Silver Creek Park and the story.
- 16:30These things, these footprints, they went from across the street, circle
- 16:37the man's barn, and came back to the woods across the street again.
- 16:41So they made a big loop. Now I don't know what they are.
- 16:45I can't say. Those pictures and you can see he's trying to mimic the
- 16:51step, the stride length and the other ones. Unfortunately he put his foot
- 16:56in because he's not a researcher. He didn't know any better. Something down
- 17:02for scale. But it's okay. He wore he said he was a size
- 17:06twelve, so in a work boot or outdoor. Uh, we lost Colleen.
- 17:18Here she's back, y'all. Here we go, There you go.
- 17:22We lost you for a second. There you are. Oh so so here
- 17:27was a size twelve. Yeah. Yeah, and he's got his car hearts
- 17:33on. So yeah, he's kind of like a rugged guy. But right
- 17:37across the other side of that camper is Johnson Road, and right across the
- 17:42mad is the entrance in the woods to Silver Creek Park. And the story,
- 17:48the big one about the dog Man. There was a gentleman that was
- 17:52driving on Johnson Road and he saw two of them come out of the woods
- 17:56in front of him, run across the street chasing it, and he said
- 18:00he saw two, not one. So again I'm going by what I read
- 18:06and what I've been told. I don't have any proof of anything in Silver
- 18:11crit except those prints. Those prints just don't look like people trespassing. No,
- 18:17not with that stride too. I mean, that's that's something rather large.
- 18:21Okay, that's something rather large. I mean, I'm that guy doesn't
- 18:23look like he's tiny. Okay, he's he's probably pretty tall. And it's
- 18:27twelve work food. That's that's pretty bigfoot. That's a bigfoot, right,
- 18:34So wow, a lot of just a lot of cryptid activity, it would
- 18:38seem. Okay, now, okay, so now let's let's go back to
- 18:44the cemetery dog man, I guess we'll call it. So, these young
- 18:48ladies who are friends with your daughter actually saw this thing happen. They thought
- 18:55it was a dirty woman, like an unkept woman, digging in the dirt.
- 19:00They were so kind of weirded out by this. They knew that you
- 19:03were an established cryptid field researcher, right, So it's that why they sought
- 19:07you out. Yeah, at the time, I used to go and investigate
- 19:11with Tim Stover, and we bought in kent, Ohio over myself and a
- 19:18few other ones. Well, we were going out a lot. But anyhow,
- 19:22these the girls knew that I was a researcher, so they they sent
- 19:29that video to my daughter and they said, please ask Colleen if she can
- 19:33look at this and see what it is. So they did. And because
- 19:37I'm from the area, as soon as I saw the mausoleum, as soon
- 19:42as I saw the video, I knew exactly where it was. I didn't
- 19:47have to look at a map. I was up the next morning, grabbed
- 19:49a cup of coffee and headed to Green Lawn and I got to sunrise and
- 19:56I got to looking around. I got to walking around it. That's a
- 20:00little bit after that when I could see. I actually got the tape measure
- 20:03and saw that it was a twenty one inch deep hole and it was eighteen
- 20:08inches wide. So I'm looking and just like a Essica, I saw no
- 20:15tool marks. None. When you use a spade, when you use a
- 20:21shovel or whatever digging tool, and when you press against the ground behind it,
- 20:26you're going to get slick, smooth, compacted dirt. There was none
- 20:32of that here. There was just loose dirt, and look at how it
- 20:36was thrown in an arc That can only mean whatever done. It was actually
- 20:41pivoting from its hips while it was sitting on its knees, so it didn't
- 20:45lay on its belly on its knees the whole time. For something to be
- 20:52twenty one inches deep, I surmised arms were about forty inches long. And
- 21:00there you can see the knee prints. Wow, wow, I mean that's
- 21:04I mean it was. It was feverishly digging too. When you see the
- 21:07video, it was it looked like it was on a mission, you know,
- 21:11like on a mission to to hide something or to bury something. I
- 21:17mean, And it was digging kind of from front in the front, from
- 21:22side to side like this. It wasn't going like that. There was going
- 21:26on this. See the sods in that that it dug up. And like
- 21:32I told you, if we were to try that, even someone drugged up
- 21:37on methamphetamines, even if we did that, you're still going to break and
- 21:41smash all your fingernails off, and you're probably going to break and destroy your
- 21:47hands and fingers. I just can't see us doing it. Loose dirt,
- 21:52pile a loose dirt if we want to plant some flowers. We can just
- 21:56dig in there with our hands, right, we can do that. We
- 21:57know that our hands are going to get dirty, but they're not going to
- 22:00be destroyed. But this thing went through follid dirt like it was nothing.
- 22:07Oh my gosh, yeah, it's it was it. It wasn't It did
- 22:12look like a human to me, whatsoever. And when you and humans,
- 22:18okay, we have this thing about cemeteries and death, we don't. We
- 22:21don't joke around about it. Okay, at least I don't. Okay,
- 22:25this is not something that it's not like a practical joke. And there's a
- 22:27lot of practical jokers out there in the world. It would do some weird
- 22:30stuff. But to me, it seems like a cemetery would be off limits
- 22:36for practical jokes. No, But my theory is that they watch from the
- 22:41woods and watch and learn from human behavior. Because right behind the cemetery you
- 22:48have a set of wood attract of woods, a very large tract of woods,
- 22:52and that woods goes to a place called Summit Street, and from Summit
- 22:56Street it goes farther down onto a place called Crick which is back up a
- 23:03little bit where Wolf crick has to do with it is where they were,
- 23:07and I'll talk about how come they became out of their area? Okay,
- 23:12well why why do you think that they got out of their area? Okay?
- 23:18If anyone's listening in there from the Norton, Akron Barberton area, they'll
- 23:22recall a fire, a wildfire that happened near Ice seventy six to twenty four.
- 23:30It burned up a lot of scrub brush, underbrush, tall grass,
- 23:34some trees, some I'll just say the kind of terrain that you would find
- 23:44next to a highway. So we don't know what caused the fire. Could
- 23:47have been a passing truck or who knows what you know, but there the
- 23:52fire started. They called the fire departments. They fought the fire for several
- 23:56hours. That fire was getting out big and it was you could see it
- 24:02all over the place. There was fire trucks coming. What else, just
- 24:07plain old firefighters. So what I feel happened was they were living in an
- 24:15area along I seventy six between Barber Road and another road called Clark Mill,
- 24:26which is surround boxed in by Norton Avenue, And a lot of folks will
- 24:30know that there is a there was a. The fire I think caused them
- 24:37to get agitated because right next to where the tree liner is, there's a
- 24:44racetrack there and that was known as Barbarton Speedway. It was closed for two
- 24:48and a half years and it was repurchased and then it was being run on
- 24:53again. So it was their opening day and I remember being there because well,
- 25:00as Jessica knows, I drive a race car there, So I was
- 25:07there down and I saw the last parts of the fire trucks putting the fire
- 25:11out, and the fire came right up to the steel fence that you know
- 25:17designates the border of the racetrack, and we were all, friend, is
- 25:21it going to jump the fence? Is it going to come start coming in
- 25:23towards the pits and all that. Well, thankfully it didn't happen. So
- 25:27anyhow, I feel that with the advent of the racetrack starting up and all
- 25:34the noise from the race cars, that that spooked them because they haven't heard
- 25:40that sound in over two and a half years. So I think they found
- 25:45their way out of that area by following a place a creek called Wolf Creek,
- 25:53and Wolf Creek runs parallel with Barber Road and it comes all the way
- 25:57up to an area called Summit Road again to sixty one and some others.
- 26:06But again it's just a short walk from here to the back of the cemetery
- 26:10area. And a lot of folks they don't realize that. A lot of
- 26:14folks think it's an Akron, but the cemetery business area might be an Akron,
- 26:18but the rest of it is in Norton, and behind it is Norton
- 26:23Township. So I'll back up. It took a few weeks for them to
- 26:30get to that area. I know they couldn't go back. I'll start here.
- 26:34I don't want to leave the best part out. It wasn't two weeks
- 26:40after that fire, Ohio Department of Transportation began a widening project for I seventy
- 26:47six and two twenty four. So the first thing they do is they want
- 26:52to enlarge and widen the bridge that goes over Wolf Creek on the expresswaying that
- 27:00they have to close off everything so they can, you know, close off
- 27:03a half a lane so they can start construction of the bridge. I think
- 27:10that these things could not get back to where they were originally at, so
- 27:15they kept on going and for a drive of five or six miles for us.
- 27:22Might have taken them three or four weeks to get to where they have
- 27:26to go, and on that journey along the river, I'm sure they were
- 27:33getting hungry. They probably didn't have pretty much food because it was it's kind
- 27:37of interspersed with small businesses, a car, a lot, and I don't
- 27:44know media, a couple houses and things like that, but there's not much.
- 27:48And that's about the time when all the animal signs went up, people
- 27:53losing their cats and dogs and things like that, and small farms along the
- 27:56way. I bet it was two weeks after that is when I got the
- 28:03call with the gentleman saw the one eating a deer en route to sixty one.
- 28:08So this area is not that not that large, but you have to
- 28:15kind of know it. You know, you can see it on the maps,
- 28:18you can look at it on Google, you can see it for yourself.
- 28:25I don't know the exact time limit, time frame that it took for
- 28:27them to get up near the cemetery, but my thoughts, my theory was
- 28:33that since it was early spring, they very well may could have had children
- 28:38offsprings. They do that they're just like us. There's a chance that that
- 28:45thing was trying to bury a dead infant, whether it be a stillborn or
- 28:49miscarriage or starvation, who knows, but I don't think they were getting enough
- 28:53food. So but you know, I have no proof that it was trying
- 29:00to bury anything. That's just what I kind of surmised, because when you
- 29:04saw the pictures of the hole, there was no grave there. All that
- 29:10area right there in front of the mausoleum is actually cremated remains. And we
- 29:17all know they don't use what seven foot caskets or six foot caskets, They
- 29:21just earn orse casket. So when you see the picture of the headstone next
- 29:27to the hole, right where the hole is was actually designated to be that
- 29:33person's wife when she passed. Oh my, I when I got there and
- 29:41I looked at the stone, I realized I know who that person was.
- 29:47I raced with his son, and he owned a local business and a local
- 29:52electronic electrical business. So anyway, that picture is a first. You all
- 30:00heard the term cover up, all right, I don't sound like a nun,
- 30:04but it's a cover up. That cemetery is prestigious. It is very
- 30:08well known across northeast Ohio. It's got thousands of people interred there, thousands,
- 30:15probably more that in that mausoleum. There you only see in a little
- 30:18bit of that mausoleum, and you see a little bit of a parking spot.
- 30:22Well, you can drive around that mausoleum. I just didn't take pictures
- 30:26of everything. But there are no graves shaped like that. None that was
- 30:33done by the cemetery staff itself. When I got there Saturday morning, oh
- 30:38dark thirty and waited to take get light to take a picture there, it
- 30:44was closed for business. But it's open to the public, right so,
- 30:48like I said, parked settings drive around there. It was I would say
- 30:53about eight eight fifteen was really really early, and it was it was a
- 31:00nice day, and that's what I got. And I noticed right away how
- 31:07the dirt is laying in an arc. And I compared that to the video
- 31:11and I thought, wait, this thing's actually digging, you know, moving
- 31:15from its hips. It's not moving from its torso, its hips are rotating
- 31:19and it's bringing its arm in an arc and throwing that dirt like a steam.
- 31:26So again, I don't know what it was. I said before,
- 31:33it wasn't a bigfoot. I know it's not a bigfoot. I think dog
- 31:37man if you look closely, you start to see how her face shines the
- 31:41light and things like that. Plus these are only still shots. These are
- 31:44still shots of the video. So no, I did not take these,
- 31:48but I'm going to use them. And that right there is a proof that
- 31:56I need of those forty inch long arms and those fingers ripped to dirt.
- 32:02Yeah, it looks like claws. So I'm looking trying to put them together.
- 32:08And I'm still following up on every lead I can find, even though
- 32:14I'm handicapped and I'm limited. I have to walk with a cane. Uh
- 32:17just you know, I had a stroke, I went from a wheelchair and
- 32:22had to learn to walk again, and now I'm in a cane, but
- 32:24I still can't really get out in the woods. I can do it a
- 32:27little bit like I did, but not much. But you're a truer man,
- 32:30You're a truer You're You're dedicated to the research though, too, and
- 32:35I applaud you for that Like this is this is hands down to me,
- 32:39I believe, and I have remote viewed this incident. It was a blind
- 32:43target. I do believe that's a real dog man. Yeah, and I
- 32:46think I think that's the best evidence I've ever seen of a dog man.
- 32:51Yeah, and I am dedicated. I am because this is a subject that
- 32:55deserves it. I'm worried that people are going to get hurt someday or you
- 33:00know, or worse, because there are a lot of folks that live in
- 33:06the outlying area. But getting back to what things happened, this is about
- 33:12the time where the dogs were destroyed. And I explained to Jessica that in
- 33:16Norton there was a private kennel and they raised German shepherds and it also abutted
- 33:22the woods. Something got into the kennel and destroyed eight German shepherd dogs.
- 33:34Eight And we would think, no way, where the German shepherd let that
- 33:38happen? No, no, folks is I have photographs of it, but
- 33:45I will not will not show them because I love dogs. Jessica likes dogs.
- 33:52Most of you probably like them. You wouldn't want to see this.
- 33:54You can imagine it, but you don't want to see it. They were
- 34:01very hard for me to uh to see, very hard for me to even
- 34:06own. I don't even know how I if I should have them. But
- 34:12another researcher by the name of Jody Cook knows all about it and it.
- 34:19The problem is I knew exactly where it was. Okay, It's not like
- 34:22some hidden out in the field somewhere. No. I knew where it was.
- 34:27I knew the road where it was on, I know Norton. It
- 34:31was just not good trying to think what else. So the dogs were in
- 34:38kennels, they were They were slashed and ripped apart. I mean, it
- 34:44would have been like a grizzly bear or something would have had to get gotten
- 34:46to those things right back. And the pictures that I have of the puncture
- 34:51wounds on the neck looked like humongous fingernails sunk down into the neck to break
- 34:57the neck. Yeah, this thing grabbed one I know that shook it broke
- 35:02its neck through. It went right after the next dog. Unfortunately, I
- 35:09guess the owners of the kennel heard the commotion because it was right next to
- 35:15their house. Ran outside, threw the light on, and he said he
- 35:20saw one of the most disgusting, gross scenes he's ever could imagine. He
- 35:24saw the creature. He even recognized it as a werewolf type thing. Didn't
- 35:30know what it was, he said. It scrambled over top of the fence
- 35:32and ran back towards the woods, and it wasn't long after that place with
- 35:37sail and they moved away. Whether or not they're still doing dogs, I
- 35:42don't know. Yeah, that's just one of the one of the things.
- 35:49I've got sighting reports from someone else on two sixty one who witnessed seeing three
- 35:54hairy, dark beings come out from behind and underneath a a creek bridge,
- 36:01not a large bridge by any stretch, but just a small bridge the cars
- 36:07have to travel, and he saw it come out from underneath and finish walking
- 36:10or keep walking towards past the Silver Creek or not Silver Creek. My mind's
- 36:15going crazy. Wolf Creek. There's two creeks. There's Wolf Creek and there's
- 36:20Pigeon Creek, and they both flow the same direction. Well, they actually
- 36:23flow towards what they call the Barberton Reservoir, which is protected land. You
- 36:30and I can't get in there. If they catch you in there, we're
- 36:32in trouble because it is a water source. But that's where we think they
- 36:38went. Now, whether they are still there, I don't know. Now
- 36:43they're I have another friend who lives not far from there, and she tells
- 36:51me that she has them in her backyard. They have seen them in the
- 36:54back of their property, which is very close to that reservoir and very close
- 37:00to that protective land. M hm kind of thing. Wow, we talked
- 37:07about Oh yeah, we talked. You told me a few. I mean,
- 37:14just these amazing stories and it's a it's a wonder that nobody's been hurt,
- 37:21like a human hasn't been hurt, or at least we haven't heard about
- 37:23humans getting hurt by these things. I want to get to the bottom of
- 37:28this. Yeah, we have to if we can either prove it's real or
- 37:31prove it's not real. But we got to do something because I know sooner
- 37:35or later there will be more killings, and I think a human is going
- 37:38to pay for it too. So well, I do know about the supposed
- 37:49supposed one that got hit on Ice seventy seven, and vernon Odem, which,
- 37:54as the crow flies, is another less than a mile from the cemetery.
- 38:00All right, so this whole area, all right, let me back
- 38:02up, just to touch this whole area that I'm talking about is known is
- 38:09known for growing corn and other crops because it's a very rich, dark,
- 38:16black loamy soil. Some people heard of Copley or no of Copley, and
- 38:22they know it's near the Ice seventy seven highway, and so they grow corn
- 38:30and they grow all kinds of stuff there and it's some of the best around
- 38:35because of the soil is so loamy. These things went that way, and
- 38:43those two creeks go into the Barberton Reservoir, and then past the Barberton Reservoir
- 38:50you have swamp land along Route twenty one and some other places, and I'm
- 38:55talking big, big areas of swamp. People just don't go because they just
- 39:00don't want to, but they build a highway through it. How they do
- 39:05that, I don't know, but I think they're in that area. I
- 39:09don't think they're coming back towards where they were because I think there's too much
- 39:15things happening now and they won't do it. Yeah, yeah, Oh go
- 39:22ahead. Oh no, I was so I think the most my favorite story
- 39:29you told me the other day when we were talking on the phone. It
- 39:31was about the ambulance driver. You are you confortable telling that story today?
- 39:37I can tell what I know. Okay, it's not a whole lot,
- 39:40but okay, there was supposedly one killed on seventy seven, again by vernon
- 39:47Odin Boulevard. Now, it got in the news because there was a lot
- 39:52of people called out to see it, and there was probably hundreds of people
- 39:57driving by, maybe thousands, but they couldn't see it thing. So the
- 40:01news grabbed it. Channel eight News out of Cleveland. They showed us a
- 40:07picture of a bear that was hit on the highway. All right, it
- 40:10happens, we know that. But the news showed us a picture of a
- 40:15black bear with an ear laying on a two lane blacktop. The reason why
- 40:21I know it's a two lane blacktop is because it was black and it has
- 40:23the yellow side markers all right, and the bear was kind of like halfway
- 40:28on and halfway off. The public bought this hook line and sinker. I
- 40:35didn't because I know I seventy seven in that area is concrete. I know
- 40:40that it has white side markers, and I know it also has a zipper
- 40:44strip or rumble strip. It's right up against the uh the sound walls before
- 40:52you get into the town. A lot of folks here have probably seen it.
- 40:58So anyway, uh oh, Colleen, I'll be right back hopefully.
- 41:07This is my favorite story, by the way, So while we're waiting for
- 41:12Colleen Jennifer Patterson, thank you so much for that supersticker. That is amazing
- 41:15of you. Thank you so much. And also who else we have here
- 41:19addicted to knowledge? Thank you for that supersticker. Man. You guys are
- 41:22wonderful. Thank you for the support. Okay, here's Colleen. There she
- 41:25is, Hey coll Okay, Oh, somebody didn't want to They didn't want
- 41:30us to hear you there. They didn't want us to hear you. You're
- 41:37back. So anyways, the tree came down and landed on the back side
- 41:40of the sound wall. So the city came out and they had to trim
- 41:45the tree up, but they left the trunk and everything. They didn't bother
- 41:47taking it off the sound wall. It was laying against the sound wall for
- 41:52several years. What we think happened around this time, this whole timeframe was
- 41:58only like a month month and a half that one came out of that loamy
- 42:02area, climbed up the tree, the one of the branches broke, and
- 42:08it wound up falling in front of a semi on I seventy seven. So
- 42:15anyway, we were given the snow story that it was a bear, and
- 42:19you know, like I said, we know bears get hit. It happens.
- 42:22This is Portage County, in Summit County, and we're not too far
- 42:25from Pennsylvania. So anyway, there was an ambulance company called and I think
- 42:34there was a two man crew, and there were a lot of other entities
- 42:38there, and I don't know who all they were. I know the Highway
- 42:42Patrol, there were O DOT and there were some others, and they asked
- 42:50this ambulance crew to get it up in the ambulance. I think it was
- 42:53already dead, I'm pretty sure. So they drove it and they were under
- 43:00escort, and they took it to a I don't want to use the word
- 43:05super secret facility because I don't know if that exists, but they took it
- 43:08to a medical facility up by the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Now I don't
- 43:15know what, I don't know where. I'm not even going to try to
- 43:17find out. But the guy came forward, I guess, and he tried
- 43:23to tell us that it was the most scariest, most nastiest looking thing he's
- 43:28ever seen in his life. He also compared it to a werewolf. I
- 43:32don't know this gentleman's name. I don't know what company. I don't know
- 43:37anything else, but that's just what I was told. So it just kind
- 43:44of leaves you to think, is there something really going on? Do they
- 43:49the authorities, do they know about it? Are they afraid to talk about
- 43:52it? Oh? I think they are afraid to talk about it. You
- 43:58know, how you hear a story the squatches getting hit, you also hear
- 44:02the squatches, you know, being seen by highway patrols and all that rangers,
- 44:07you name it. They don't make an issue of it. They'll talk
- 44:12about it if they ask, but they don't go around saying, oh,
- 44:15yep, we saw a squatch get hit. You know, they just don't,
- 44:17especially in Guernsey County around Saltfork. Oh yeah. If I have learned
- 44:24anything from doing all this research, from my boots on the groundfield research to
- 44:30interviewing people from all over the country and all over the world, there is
- 44:32definitely a cover up going on. And and just you know, even with
- 44:37Jody Cook and the North American dog Man Project, all of their research alone
- 44:42and their documentaries that they put out, there is an active cover up.
- 44:46And so that makes me wonder about missing persons reports in your area. Brown
- 44:52Dwarf in the chat had brought that a while ago. Are there are there
- 44:57clusters of missing people in this area? Are you famili hear with that?
- 45:02Every so often we'll hear about it, but it's usually something to do with
- 45:08foul play. Like not too far from my house and Kent. Just a
- 45:12few months ago, there was a lady's body discovered in a park basically behind
- 45:20our house, across from the Cuyahoga River, fling uneasy, but yeah,
- 45:25it was. It was found out that it was her ex that did it
- 45:29and dumped her body. But you'll get things like that, and there will
- 45:34be some people that go missing because you'll see the signs up a lot,
- 45:37you know. But I don't really contribute all that to anything squatchy or dog
- 45:44man. I think that could be again foul play. It's got stuff to
- 45:47do with drugs, it's got and some other things, but which is tragic.
- 45:53But but yes, there are some people folks missing now in the Outlining
- 45:59County, all right, they're like defiance and things like that. I'm gonna
- 46:05back up a little bit. There's another film producer out there by a name
- 46:08of Seth Breedlow. And I know Seth. And if you've ever seen any
- 46:14of his documentaries. You really need to watch the last few American Werewolf and
- 46:22some other ones. And he goes on and describes perfectly the dog men up
- 46:28there in Defiance, you know, south of Toledo and Wapakaneta where else some
- 46:37other ones. But there has been some people missing up there. There was
- 46:39the one story about the college girl who went for a jog and they found
- 46:45her clothing all ripped up and shredded, and they didn't find her. You
- 46:51know, you have the story of the Land between the Lakes, which the
- 46:55going to I do not You can believe whatever you want. I don't think
- 47:00it's fun. What else? Yeah, yeah, I mean, like I
- 47:07said, not too many people. Okay, well, yeah, I'm really
- 47:14big into looking into where all the missing people are going. And I think
- 47:17that this could be one of the outlets, you know, like this could
- 47:22be one of the culprits some of these dogmen. But here we go,
- 47:25we're talking about this and no one's been harmed that we know of by these
- 47:30dogmen. That's right, and let's hope it stays that way, right,
- 47:35Okay, So, but but that can either be because they're not violent that
- 47:38violent against humans, for the most part. And that's that's what I've I'm
- 47:42coming to terms with, is that a lot of the people who encounter them
- 47:45firsthand, including the things that you've told me, they're not they're not violent
- 47:51against humans. They're just that they acknowledge humans. They know we're here to
- 47:54stay away from us, right, I think most part, yes, yes,
- 48:00we are bigger than they are. But these things are like a wild
- 48:06animal, and I believe they could rip us to pieces, just like they
- 48:08did those dogs. But you also, now there's been all kinds of different
- 48:15stories coming out of the South, like in your area. You know that
- 48:20little old lady and the retired teacher from North Carolina, Brenda Hamilton, Yeah,
- 48:27found and she was destroyed, she was torn apart. And you had
- 48:31that other that little boy from or not little boy, but that young guy
- 48:35from Kentucky drug up the hillside and I still uber or Mountain Lion is going
- 48:40to do that. And there was a few more. Remember there was a
- 48:45spade of them for a little while. Yeah, a lot of hunters,
- 48:49hunters, bow hunters were going missing and are found mauled to death. And
- 48:53you know in East Tennessee with Amber Milder and Tony Errand that was odd.
- 48:59You know, those are odd deaths, but a lot of times they're blamed
- 49:02packs of wild dogs are unified animals, And I'll be honest, I have
- 49:09not seen a pack of wild dogs. I've heard of a pack of wild
- 49:14dogs. I can see when four or five large feral type dogs get on
- 49:21the scent of a human, they might pursue it, you know, and
- 49:23then it could end badly. But I just don't I see that too much,
- 49:30you know, and I don't read about it, so somehow I don't
- 49:34really follow that theory. But I could be wrong. Yeah, yeah,
- 49:39I've actually been targeted given some like blind remote viewing targets of some of those
- 49:44incidents. And with the two that were in Tennessee with Amber and Tony,
- 49:49that was something odd. I do think that that was something that could have
- 49:52been more dog man like. But I don't know some of them. I
- 49:57do, like some of the hunters that I've looked into, I do believe
- 50:00or can't big cats, you know, because our d n R and federal
- 50:05workers and things, the people that are out on those wm as and federal
- 50:07land, they're they're not going to tell us if there's cougars and stuff that
- 50:12their panthers that aren't supposed to be out there. Sometimes there's a little cover
- 50:15up going on. I think so. But but we just we really don't
- 50:19know, really do exactly exactly. Just kind of like coyotes. First,
- 50:23there's supposedly no coyotes here in northeast Ohio. Well guess what. They run
- 50:28right through on my backyard because like I said, I live right against the
- 50:31Kyohoga River here in Kent, So it's no big deal to see a coyote.
- 50:37Some folks say they see wolves or they see uh, what's that other
- 50:40one? That not dire wolf? There's another one, another name of one
- 50:45I can't think. Yeah, there's Akoi. There's a Koi wolf. Yeah
- 50:50it looks like a coyote. Yeah, but I don't recall ever seeing Ooi
- 50:54wolf. But we have seen n because we have again, there's your numerous
- 51:02brownhogs, raccoons, possums, other critters. We have more critters in our
- 51:10backyards than you could imagine, almost like being in a sanctuary. But that
- 51:15because it's near a river. What else I mean? I have other stories
- 51:23about other things that happened while I was a kid that I didn't realize anything
- 51:30about Bigfoot at the time. I will say that the first time I ever
- 51:36understood Bigfoot was going to a movie theater in Barberton, Ohio, many many
- 51:42years ago and seeing the movie Legend of Boggie Creek and and me, just
- 51:52like a lot of other folks, the Legend of Boggie Creek set the hook.
- 51:55I knew that I was going crazy looking for these things learning about them.
- 52:00I didn't know they were in Ohio. Back then. I said,
- 52:02Okay, I believe it. They're out west, Yeah, in the Rocky
- 52:06Mountains. Yeah, okay, I believe that, but not Ohio. And
- 52:09then I start learning that they're in Ohio. The I just went to this
- 52:15past weekend and listened to experts like you know, doctor Meldrum and Cliff Barrockman
- 52:22and all that, and it's like, okay, you kind of made me
- 52:27believe. Now there might be about one thousand, three hundred or so squatch
- 52:30in Ohio. You know, a bear. A lot of folks think we
- 52:37don't have bear, but oh, yes we do. I've seen them.
- 52:39You know, bear come from Pennsylvania. Bear don't have turnpikes, bear doesn't
- 52:45have you know, oofs, and they don't have to show their papers.
- 52:49They just come right across the border. And I learned early spring it takes
- 52:53a bear about three months to come this far, because you know, they
- 52:58don't just say, oh, okay, I'm leaving and I'm coming to Portage
- 53:00County. They have to make their way all across Trumbull and everything else.
- 53:06So it takes some time. But they come here. And because the weather
- 53:10has changed in the last few years, our winters aren't so bad. So
- 53:17then they make their they decide if they're going to stay here or not.
- 53:22So some go back to PA and they're back there by fall so they can
- 53:25harbor eate, and some stay right here in Ohio and find places to hold
- 53:30up. So I don't think the squats are much different than that. Yeah,
- 53:34I think you're right. I would agree with that. And uh yeah,
- 53:38you know you people always were wondering like where where do these things stay?
- 53:42Like where do they go? Where? Where do bigfoots go during the
- 53:45day when they're not being seen, you know, when they're not out like
- 53:47gallant around night or whatever. And somebody at the beginning of the show today
- 53:52had left an interesting comment because they were saying they thought that potentially they the
- 53:57dog men in the graveyard was digging for an entrance to like an underground facility
- 54:01or an underground tunnel. What do you think about that? Hat now?
- 54:07Okay that I don't see that happen because I know the there and everything else,
- 54:13and yeah, it is a cemetery and it's built on a roll.
- 54:16Yeah, and I know there's a cemetery now somewhere else there might be,
- 54:22I don't know, but not there. This was just I believe something was
- 54:29watching human activity from the woods behind it because it's a perfect field of vision
- 54:36and whatever it was doing, and I felt that it was burying a dead
- 54:42infant. Okay. I also kind of looked into the thought maybe it's digging
- 54:46up a groundhog. Could be digging up a groundhog to eat, hm.
- 54:52Possible, but that's all it would be pretty much, is a ground or
- 54:57or maybe an pigs. Awesome. I don't know. It could have been
- 55:02small game, but it just seems like it went through an awful lot of
- 55:06effort for small game. I mean it was ribbon and tearing through that cemetery.
- 55:12I mean, of all places. I mean, if it wanted a
- 55:14small animal, it would have gone out in the woods, right, I
- 55:16mean, it doesn't even dig in a cemetery for that. I don't lots
- 55:24of rabbits, lots of other small game, lots of domestic pets, you
- 55:30know, and stuff. Unfortunately. Oh yeah, it's just yeah, it's
- 55:35just perplexing. It's really perplexing. I'm want to take one moment for just
- 55:38a second. I'm so sorry. I need to thank everybody who's been giving
- 55:42superstickers day. Marco, thank you. I think you're awesome. Thank you
- 55:44for that supersticker. And Jerry Elmore, thank you so much. If they
- 55:46warn you, that means you're on the right track. Okay, so that's
- 55:51true. Yes, thank you so much. That's very sweet of you.
- 55:52I appreciate y'all for doing that. But yeah, it's the question is,
- 55:59okay, so what was that thing really digging for? And in one of
- 56:02the pictures you can't see a little black figure in the background. In the
- 56:07background, it looks like there's something back there. Do you think that could
- 56:09have been maybe a baby or something? That was my first thought because when
- 56:15I went back after they filled in the holes and stuff, whatever it was
- 56:19was not there, and I kind of went in stealthily because they got a
- 56:22good look at me in my truck, and so I had to be kind
- 56:28of careful going back, and I was, oh, oh, I know
- 56:32what I forgot. I got to talk to one of the groundskeepers. Oh
- 56:38yeah, we got to hear about this. Yeah, I asked him,
- 56:44and he said, we're not supposed to talk about it. We were told
- 56:46to make you know, to make it go away, fill it in and
- 56:51act like it never happened. And I said, okay. So then we
- 56:55touched base just a little bit. On the cameras. Green Lawn has an
- 56:59awful lot of security cameras because of where it is, but they don't have
- 57:02any cameras trained on that spot of ground, so it wouldn't have gotten to
- 57:07see anything anyway. But the groundskeeper pulled me aside and we had a little
- 57:13bit of a discussion. And that's exactly what I thought happened. Happened.
- 57:19They came in and early in the morning they saw the hole and they immediately
- 57:23put their heads together. They called the police. They I don't know who
- 57:30else they called, but they had a lot of other folks involved. They
- 57:34could find no leads. There is a vehicle in the picture or in the
- 57:37video. You will see it. It's the front of a small suv.
- 57:42But now look at this picture and you'll see how far away it really is
- 57:45from where that suv was parked. Again, the mausoleums about five hundred foot
- 57:51long. What you're seeing in the video is the side of it. So
- 57:57could that car have belonged to somebody in the mausoleum paying respects? Could it
- 58:01have been a car that belonged to someone else that they might be somewhere else
- 58:07in the in the park or in the cemetery grounds, you know, paying
- 58:12respects to someone somewhere else. I don't know, but they could not find
- 58:17any info to say otherwise. They did find they can blow the picture up.
- 58:22They did see the license plate, they knew it was from Ohio Summit
- 58:25County, and I'm sure they spoke with the owner, but the owners said
- 58:30they saw nothing. So did they see the video? Did you show them
- 58:36the video of the dog man or whatever that was digging in the cemetery?
- 58:40I did, and they were very tightly about it. And I knew right
- 58:45then and there to shut up because I didn't want to cause any trouble.
- 58:50There was there's a bunch of ladies at work in the office, you know,
- 58:53and they were scared. They were literally scared. The man, Yes,
- 59:01it happened. Boom, that was it. All right. I'm not
- 59:06gonna I profit more information than what I should have. So but I've never
- 59:10been contacted by authorities or anything like that because they know straight up it's not
- 59:15my video and I did not take it. Okay, Well, what really
- 59:21stands out to me is that they covered the hole back up and they put
- 59:25flowers on it as though it's a grave site. Right, they had they
- 59:30had to, Okay, so they had to kind of make it look inconspicuous.
- 59:35I guess you're right, and that's what the groundskeeper told me. He
- 59:38says, yeah, we're the ones that did it. He said, I
- 59:42just planted the flowers this morning. He says. We were told to make
- 59:45it look normal so it wouldn't upset people, because he said, seeing people
- 59:50seeing that hole, you know, they're going to jump to conclusions right away.
- 59:53Oh my god, you got something here digging up, Uncle Bob,
- 59:57you know that. And they can't have that because it is a the cemetery,
- 1:00:04Okay, school in northeast Ohio, it's a it's a really nice large
- 1:00:09cemetery there now you you are familiar with the gentleman who's buried. His creamines
- 1:00:15are buried right there and his wife. You said his wife was going to
- 1:00:17be buried in that spot. Uh did you talk to their family about this?
- 1:00:22Do they know about it? Or no? I haven't seen any of
- 1:00:29their family members in a long time. But yeah, like I said,
- 1:00:32he was a racer for many years. And his son was there and I
- 1:00:37raised his son. Let's see. But I just when I saw the name,
- 1:00:45I knew who it was, you know, immediately, So I'm thinking,
- 1:00:47oh, okay, I didn't really even know that he was there.
- 1:00:51I knew he passed away, of course, but I didn't know where he
- 1:00:53was interred. But that was it. Oh my gosh. Okay. So
- 1:00:59the cemetery staff was informed that something was digging and and they were tight lipped
- 1:01:05about it. But I wonder, I mean, I wonder if they had
- 1:01:07ever had I mean, this is just me questioning had animals come and dig
- 1:01:12into their cemetery before? I mean, that's not normal. I wouldn't think
- 1:01:16no. But again, the cemetery doesn't have really in keeping animals out.
- 1:01:22They do have a wrought iron fence and on the border of the woods in
- 1:01:28the cemetery, but you and I could step over top of it. That's
- 1:01:30how short and small it is. Because they probably didn't think anyone's going to
- 1:01:35try to, you know, come into their property and all that. But
- 1:01:38I'm sure deer come in there all the time, and I met other animals
- 1:01:44that do. Oh yeah, oh yeah, Oh my gosh. Well,
- 1:01:50well that is something that I have not seen before. It's you know,
- 1:01:52an animal come in and dig in into a cemetery. It would be pretty
- 1:01:55shocking, especially if there was a funeral planned that day or you know.
- 1:02:02But but this happened on you said it was on a Friday night. I'm
- 1:02:07mistaken, fifteen in the evening. Okay, so so the staff wasn't there,
- 1:02:12So that whole just kind of sat there for a couple of days till
- 1:02:15Monday morning. Yeah, we're just right. Like I said, I was
- 1:02:17there early Saturday, got my pictures. When I left, I came back,
- 1:02:25got more pictures and kind of walked around just to look for clues,
- 1:02:30look for anything I could think of. And that morning, that Monday morning,
- 1:02:35I came back and that's when they already did the filled it with dirt.
- 1:02:39That's the one about flowers, and then I came back later. I
- 1:02:45don't know, I'm just a nut that way, and back later and there
- 1:02:49was flowers planning on and that's when I got to speak to the groundkeeper,
- 1:02:53who told me he just did them. Yeah, that's that's sign. That's
- 1:02:59a Another interesting part of all this is that they put flowers like it's just
- 1:03:02a grave. You know. Now, did you do a follow up with
- 1:03:06the two young ladies who filmed this? Where are there's at today? What
- 1:03:09do they think about it? I took them out to lunch with my daughter
- 1:03:14and we talked about it, and they don't know what it is. Like
- 1:03:19I said, they're not researchers. They were just high school kids. But
- 1:03:23they don't know what to believe of it. They actually wanted to wash their
- 1:03:27hands of it. That's why they gave me the video and sit here,
- 1:03:30it's yours, so just take it. You can have it. I mean,
- 1:03:37I mean, I've had people have discussions with people, and I know
- 1:03:42I did a show on this last week and there are people in the chat
- 1:03:44we're kind of discussing like, well, why didn't they get out and confront
- 1:03:47it or something like why why would anybody get out and confront even a person
- 1:03:52who was doing that. And these are two teenage girls, so they should
- 1:03:55have locked their doors and driven off. You know what they did, because
- 1:04:00when you heard he's really getting down there, Oh that's so weird or whatever,
- 1:04:05even they had to get back to work. They were on their break.
- 1:04:11But but yeah, you and I would have probably got out and took
- 1:04:16up went around the corner and filmed it until our batteries with her. Oh
- 1:04:20yeah, I would have called up my homies and been like, y'all,
- 1:04:23I gotta come see this. Remember, they thought it was a dirty lady.
- 1:04:27That's all, a dirty lady, and they established immediately one of the
- 1:04:30girls said what is she doing? So it was immediately like female energy out
- 1:04:36there, like there's a woman there, which I find very interesting. I
- 1:04:41have to kind of remember that Barberton, Norton and lots of Akron is kind
- 1:04:47of distressed. There used to be a large shopping mall up the road from
- 1:04:50where they worked, big place called Rolling Acres built in seventy five, now
- 1:04:56gone, now destroyed. But there was a lot of homeless people in that
- 1:05:00area at one time. Okay, but I don't think that was a homeless
- 1:05:05person. It's just not shaped like a homeless person. Yeah, it's not
- 1:05:12what it's not it's shape. It's shaped like I mean, I think that
- 1:05:15as a legitimate dog man, that's my opinion. I do think that it
- 1:05:18is. And yeah, lady lady j Holmestad has a question, why do
- 1:05:24these creatures seem to love graveyards? Uh? Oh, we lost Colleen again
- 1:05:29here she is. Uh. That's a good question because that's something that I've
- 1:05:31covered before, is why why do these things like the graveyard? Colleen?
- 1:05:35Do you have an idea as to why dog men we hear what they're seen
- 1:05:39around cemeteries a lot. Yeah. I think it's because of the location.
- 1:05:45I think that it's ah, they can sense the peacefulness. Uh. And
- 1:05:49I do believe that they have a sense of mourning. I really do.
- 1:05:55Bigfoots, grassmen, dog men, I think they have a sense of But
- 1:06:01as far as why the graveyard thing, I don't know. There's another researcher,
- 1:06:06well you know who I'm talking about, Jody Cook. He's got your
- 1:06:10pictures of them digging in cemeteries and so I really can't answer that. But
- 1:06:16like I said, I think I got a feeling that's because it's peaceful and
- 1:06:19it's quiet, no pun intended, it's just peaceful and quiet. Well,
- 1:06:25there's a lot of different angle. We hit just about every angle on our
- 1:06:28show last week. I think it was Thursday night, so we had a
- 1:06:31very littleton and I hit a bunch of angles, and so did Hunting the
- 1:06:34Shadows. We have Dennis Carroll in here, who's on the screen right now.
- 1:06:38Dennis is a kind of an exp my resident expert in the occult and
- 1:06:43stuff like black magic and voodoo and all that kind of stuff. And there
- 1:06:46is some people say that with the werewolves, there is a magical aspect to
- 1:06:50all of that and something that could be kind of dark. And so there's
- 1:06:54that angle that you could take with the cemeteries. There's also like the Native
- 1:06:58American lore and legend of you know, like the dog men and the indigenous
- 1:07:04connection to that, and sometimes they say that these beings are conjured there by
- 1:07:12I want to say, rituals and stuff to protect the land. There's you
- 1:07:15know, blessings and curses to protect the land and to protect all the dead
- 1:07:18there. Okay, so it could be that too, that's possible. I
- 1:07:24have no answers to what they are, but here's the thing. For all
- 1:07:28the years that I've been doing this, I'm perfectly fine with knowing that there
- 1:07:32are bigfoot in the woods. Okay, I am, I'm perfectly fine.
- 1:07:38I go to Saltfork quite a bit. I take my camper there. I
- 1:07:43researched with so Spee and I used to, like I said, research with
- 1:07:46Tim Stover and Ohio bigfoot hunters. But I have pictures of the ones that
- 1:07:54I've seen in Salt Fork. I have a story in my friend's books about
- 1:08:00the little girl that I saw on Salt Fork. But again, I'm happy
- 1:08:05knowing that they're there. They don't bother me a bit. But these things
- 1:08:12I'm not happy with. After what we've seen that they can do, I'm
- 1:08:16not at all happy with them. So there were one of the reasons why
- 1:08:20I try to stay out of the woods. They are also one of the
- 1:08:24reasons why I don't go in the woods without a side arm. But hope
- 1:08:28I never have to use it on one. I mean, think about this.
- 1:08:31I was out in the woods at Salt Fork and it was dark.
- 1:08:39It was oh my god, it was dark. So I'm walking along and
- 1:08:43I'm coming up to a little clearing and next to this clearing is a whole
- 1:08:45bunch of trees, thick, thick woods. So I stop and I'm just
- 1:08:51looking and I'm listening, and then all of a sudden, I get this
- 1:08:58right in front of me, I mean directly right in front of my face.
- 1:09:00I could hear feel the sound waves hitting me. And I did I
- 1:09:08carry I had my forty five in my hand, all right. The only
- 1:09:12thing that I could think of was backing out. I didn't even turn around.
- 1:09:15I just started walking backwards. I needed out of that situation that fast.
- 1:09:21But farm ever came to me. It's aired me. Oh my god,
- 1:09:26yes, oh yeah, wow. Well, you got to do whatever
- 1:09:30your gut tells you to do. And if it's back out of there,
- 1:09:33don't turn your back to it, don't turn your back to it. And
- 1:09:38uh and you're the same as me. We have a lot in common,
- 1:09:40Colleen. Okay, I carry a firearm as well whenever I go to places
- 1:09:45that might be a little bit dangerous. Okay. So well, being a
- 1:09:49veteran an army that you know, we are what we call trained observers.
- 1:09:55Okay, so we take notice of things. When when you hear a lot
- 1:09:59of stories, it's or someone's a veteran because we noticed stuff. That was
- 1:10:03our job. Yes, carrying the weapon. We're very proficient in that.
- 1:10:10I hope I never used it usually holstered. Oh yeah, sometimes it's in
- 1:10:14my hand because I don't know where a kyloe or a wolf could be,
- 1:10:18or a bobcat or for evans, who knows what else, or who knows
- 1:10:23when there's a crazy person, yeah exactly, or one of these one of
- 1:10:27these grave digging dog men. I tell you what that's uh that that doesn't
- 1:10:31It's just it's just wild the things that we experience. And I'm with you.
- 1:10:34I am. I am so cool with bigfoots, you know, I'm
- 1:10:38cool with bigfoots. The dog men are a little bit more, right,
- 1:10:43just a little bit more scary to me, I guess you could say.
- 1:10:45And I don't get scared very easily, okay, but it's just they're unpredictable,
- 1:10:49okay, because I have not come across a dog man yet. Uh
- 1:10:53and so yeah, the day, the day will come, maybe we'll see,
- 1:10:57we'll see, you know, we're still out there. Yeah, so
- 1:11:03Colleen, you have you. I guess we've kind of come to the end
- 1:11:08of the hour today. Oh my gosh, I could talk to you all
- 1:11:10day. I really could, Colleen. This has been amazing. I want
- 1:11:13to thank you so much for being here today. Yeah. So are you
- 1:11:17still getting out? Do people still give you calls to report sightings and stuff?
- 1:11:23I got a call about two weeks ago and I had to talk with
- 1:11:26a gentleman for a while, and he was very explicit on what he saw.
- 1:11:30It was not far from actually where I am, and it was like
- 1:11:34at the northern part of the Cuyahoga Valley. There has been other sightings in
- 1:11:41that area. There are several reports of that area. He filled me in
- 1:11:47on what he saw. He saw one sitting against a road sign when he's
- 1:11:51on his way to work one morning on Brexville Road, and I'm like,
- 1:11:56yeah, okay, there's been sightings from Brexville Road out twenty one all through
- 1:12:01the Kyahoga Valley Park, So wow, I don't I'm a liar and I'm
- 1:12:10not going to discount his story proves them wrong, But that's right. You
- 1:12:15know, I'll follow up on it. I just can't, couldn't get out
- 1:12:18anywhere I'd love to, but well, just take a note, take a
- 1:12:25note, write it down, make a note of where that sighting was.
- 1:12:28And you know, we just we got to watch for all these patterns.
- 1:12:30Joke. You guys have a lot of dog men were wolves up there.
- 1:12:33So yeah, I mean I like to end every show by telling everybody to
- 1:12:38stay safe out there, keep your head on a swivel, lock your doors
- 1:12:41at night, you know, just just to note, just to be aware,
- 1:12:45like, don't live in fear of any of this. Don't live in
- 1:12:46fear of it, but be aware and protect yourself if you need to,
- 1:12:53Okay, because you never know, right yeah? Man, Okay, Well,
- 1:13:00thank you so much for being here today. Gosh, please come back
- 1:13:03and hang out with me again. I mean we can we can talk.
- 1:13:05Like I said, we could talk all day, we really could. And
- 1:13:09uh yeah, I just wanted to thank you big time for being here.
- 1:13:12I'll go to Hill about what got me started on this path. Oh,
- 1:13:18these were These were encounters that my father had with the Ohio grass Man,
- 1:13:25other friends of mine have had with the grass Man, and that I've had
- 1:13:29with the grass Man. So but yeah, we'll talk about those at another
- 1:13:32time. Oh, I can't wait. I can't wait. Now, if
- 1:13:35anybody has a sighting, is there a way that he can get in touch
- 1:13:39with you or do you make that public? I have your your organization down
- 1:13:43here on the screen right now. You should have a picture of my card
- 1:13:46I do. I didn't put it up. I didn't know if you wanted
- 1:13:48your phone number out there for everybody. But I can post it though,
- 1:13:53if you'd like. I can put it in a description box of the show.
- 1:13:56Yeah, it's got my phone number, Okay, perfect, All right,
- 1:14:01Colleen. That is so sweet of you to do that and to come
- 1:14:04on my show and to share all of these encounters with us today. Thank
- 1:14:09you so much, thank you. Okay, everybody, it's Northeast Ohio Cryptid
- 1:14:14Research, Colleen Norris. And I will put her phone number in the I'll
- 1:14:17pin it to the top of the comments after the show today. Okay.
- 1:14:21So if you guys have any encounters in her area, y'all let her know.
- 1:14:25Okay, because it goes right database and it's like, okay, so
- 1:14:31we start putting things together. That's how that's that's how the research works.
- 1:14:35We're just putting, you know, putting all the encounters down on a map
- 1:14:40and figuring this out together. That's what we do. And so thank you
- 1:14:44so much, and you guys please come back and see me tomorrow night.
- 1:14:46I'm going to be We're going to be covering a missing person's case. Speaking
