Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Robin Ben I am with the team. Piano player Terris
- 0:02Speaker 1: Reed Junior, big things expected. You really came on late
- 0:07Speaker 1: last year. I would imagine now you're really really comfortable
- 0:10Speaker 1: in this system and learning everything that coach early and
- 0:12Speaker 1: the staff have put you through.
- 0:13Speaker 2: I mean I wouldn't I would say comfortable because the
- 0:16Speaker 2: coaching staff they won't let me. They won't let me relax.
- 0:19Speaker 2: There's no comfortability right there.
- 0:20Speaker 1: So but is that a good thing?
- 0:22Speaker 2: Yeah? I love it. That's why I came to Yukon.
- 0:24Speaker 2: I mean being able to being surrounded by guys, being
- 0:28Speaker 2: surrounded by coaches that would never let you relax, always
- 0:30Speaker 2: keep you on your toes. I mean it brings the
- 0:32Speaker 2: best out of you as a player. That's all you
- 0:33Speaker 2: could ever want.
- 0:34Speaker 1: How'd you get better in the off season? What were
- 0:36Speaker 1: some of the points of emphasis for you?
- 0:38Speaker 2: Yeah, being more disciplined on the defensive side, I mean
- 0:41Speaker 2: being able to play smarter because knowing foul trouble was
- 0:43Speaker 2: a big big issue for me last year. Offensively, slowing
- 0:46Speaker 2: down and just being able to play my game and
- 0:50Speaker 2: be around the guys, play around, play play, be more
- 0:53Speaker 2: familiar with playing with the guys like who who, I'm
- 0:57Speaker 2: playing with what the what? What are their tendencies, what
- 1:01Speaker 2: are their weaknesses, what are the straints? And we just
- 1:03Speaker 2: overall being the smarter, smarter player, letting the game slow
- 1:06Speaker 2: down and not trying to rush.
- 1:08Speaker 1: Have you noticed that in practice, that it is slowing
- 1:10Speaker 1: down for you?
- 1:11Speaker 2: Yeah, it's I mean I'm a senior now, so I've
- 1:13Speaker 2: been been in the game for for quite a minute,
- 1:16Speaker 2: and like I said, the game is Juwan always told
- 1:19Speaker 2: me my freshman year, like let the game, let the
- 1:21Speaker 2: game come to you. I never understood it until like
- 1:24Speaker 2: late junior year, early senior year, So that I'm moment.
- 1:28Speaker 1: What's it like playing with Alex and Solo?
- 1:30Speaker 2: I mean ak For Like that dude is a warrior.
- 1:34Speaker 2: I mean we call him Captain America for a reason.
- 1:37Speaker 2: He literally does everything right as a player, and Solo
- 1:41Speaker 2: Solo so talented. He's young too, he has he has
- 1:44Speaker 2: a lot of potential. So I'm ready for him, ready
- 1:47Speaker 2: for ak For for this up COVID season. I feel
- 1:50Speaker 2: like it's gonna be great.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Did we tickle the ivories at all this this past summer?
- 1:54Speaker 2: Nah? No, sir, No, sir.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Most fun thing you did this past summer was other
- 1:59Speaker 1: than work out. I'm I know you've spent a lot
- 2:00Speaker 1: of time here.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Most Funday, I probably I went to Puerto Rico. Me
- 2:04Speaker 2: and my girlfriend went to Puerto Rico for like three days,
