Yesterday, we got some exciting news about what's happening in the future. I'm gonna go ahead and share, because we're gonna talk about. The showcase showcase, which most of it was about keepsake see, I guess. That's true. Yeah, they made some announcements about next year. They did. This is kind of what they made. Sure, this top and said this is kind of the stuff they made about next year, right? So early 2027, a new era of royalty begins with the arrival of two princes. So let's look. So well and so what I I was re I pulled something from you know the Dreamlight Valley page. Right, the Facebook page. It says Meet five new villagers and an adventure companion. So 'cause we were having that discussion earlier on the plane, I was like, I'm excited But upset about the Dory of it all because I feel like Dory should be an actual character, not a companion. Right. But if they're calling her if they're wording it that way. That means something she's she's not just a regular Correct. Yeah. Correct. Which could be fun to have, you know, a new kind of thing in it. So especially considering they're bringing Doug later next year. Because I feel like he could Correct could Yeah, he could be a good. so from here we find out we knew we were getting Milo, we knew we were getting Megara, and we knew we were getting Jack Sparrow. But what we could never figure out was who the villain is. And they didn't say villain. They didn't say villain. Yeah. So what if Facilier is the villain? No, I think I mean I think this is all we're getting. I think they just didn't That's it. Call him a villain because he's n Nah, I don't know. And we're getting Wendy. Anyways, so these are our three biomes and okay, here's the part I was kind of getting confused on. Does each one of them have access to the underwater portion? Or is it just the obele obeli? Okay. I don't my understanding is once you've equipped your mermaid, whatever, done all that stuff, you can swim un underwater anywhere. Correct. Yes. You can go fish I don't think you can swim underwater like I don't think we'll be in Dazzle Beach and be able to be under the water. I think you can go fishing anywhere. Swim, but you can't actually be under the water. Like you can And keepsake C, but like I said, is it in all three biomes or is it just it's probably just that last one. Because that's the only one with like the platform thingy decoration thing. Yeah. So Well, no well, this I don't know. This is some AI something that somebody did, but it says each has an underwater counterpart. Right. That's what so maybe it was. But this this thing from WW WDWNT says And Ubalay Pit Layers will find a fanciful setting of coral and seashell designs that stretch above and below the water. So I don't know. We'll see. So each biome has an underwater area to explore. Okay. Okay. And then once but though this was saying the characters that are underwater, huh which I guess is just Dory. Right right now. Will have a bubble on land if you wanted to take her on land. Okay. She'll have her like own special bubble. Yes. Okay, you can customize your merfolk. You can even become a sea monster. Did you realize that? Like you don't have to be a mermaid. I remember them it doesn't say that right here, but I remember you could be a mermaid or a sea monster. This says sea creature merciful. Or sea creature, whatever. There's like so many options. I was watching them go through it. On like did you watch the little play thingy? I didn't watch that. It was it's very customizable, so I'm excited. I know Sadie's gonna be all over that 'cause she loves to do like change my forces and stuff. Yeah. So we also get our own ship. And there's I don't know which areas are only accessible by ship, but they did say that. Yes, they did. But you get your own ship and then you also get like a second bedroom, essentially. Like you get a second home because you get like captain's quarters. I don't want to talk about Lilo You get captain's quarters. We get Lilo soon. Is that it? That's all they Well what else? So there was so much more in the showcase that we didn't that this website didn't really talk about. Right. The captain's quarters. I didn't have a picture of that. what else? you can on the ship you can have up to four like villagers with you. Yes and then to be your like crew is calling it. Does that affect your will that help their friendship? Like and can you change them? I'm assuming you can change them. I don't know if it will help a little control. let's see. We're gonna have a lot of characters to level up. We are and really need to get on it. So yeah. I think I'm one of the things I'm most excited about is that we'll be able to we don't have to fish in the traditional way. You get to swim. You get to and it's quicker. Yeah. Apparently. So instead of just holding the button, I don't know. We'll see. That'll be fun. yeah. So if you get this Which obviously Is it even a question? Is it even a question when I saw that you get Sebastian and Flounder? Like Death Sedition. Yeah. So that's what they didn't talk about that I'm most excited about is the building aspect of it. Like you're gonna we're gonna be able to like change our terrain and go up and down and make mountains, essentially. Kind of like how Animal Crossing. okay. Animal Crossing was able to do that. It was very Compute like it wasn't easy and it was, you know, but this is gonna be more I guess easier. I'm not super into the decoration. Yep, I know. So I'm not that excited about it. But I I mean I can appreciate, you know, yeah. It's pretty cool. Yeah. Yeah. I think also with the deluxe edition, doesn't that come with like ten thousand moons down the thing? That's a lot. Yes. And they're so okay, they were saying they're gonna get rid of a couple of the other editions. That means that doesn't mean that the other packs are gonna go away. They're just not gonna bundle them like they were. Okay, okay, okay. Yeah. I think it's to encourage like new players, right? Like if you're starting the game we've been playing from pretty much the beginning, we just asked we go. Correct. So okay, so also in the showcase have a moment. Olaf, where did he go? They said we finished the Olaf thing. It says it's now complete. W didn't we have a theory that they were we were gonna get one for the other DLCs? I mean, I know you can customize everything like in all like in the houses, but I don't know. I'm not interested in decorating my house, but I might be interested in decorating this, you know? It was but it's gonna have a lot of like nautical themed stuff to like kind of build up to this release date for keepsake. Yeah. So so yeah. Get the deluxe edition so you can get all the fun stuff.
