- 2:14Speaker 3: let's go ahead and start off with Iran. Just a
- 2:17Speaker 3: titanic amount of US military assets arriving in the Middle East,
- 2:21Speaker 3: some not seen since the Iraq War and the Gulf
- 2:24Speaker 3: War before that. It's very much reminiscent of the military
- 2:27Speaker 3: build up around Venezuela before the operation to kidnap Nicholas Maduro.
- 2:32Speaker 3: Professor John Mehersheimer was reacting to all of this yesterday.
- 2:36Speaker 4: Let's take a listen, and Israel wance zero enrichment capability.
- 2:42Speaker 4: They want the whole nuclear enrichment infrastructure taken down. They
- 2:47Speaker 4: want Iran to eliminate all the ballistic missiles that has
- 2:52Speaker 4: that can hit Israel. They want Iran to give up
- 2:57Speaker 4: supporting the who. These has Blah and Moss, and these
- 3:02Speaker 4: are demands that there's no way the Iranians are.
- 3:05Speaker 5: Going to accept. So even if Trump can work out
- 3:08Speaker 5: a deal that's satisfactory to him along the lines I
- 3:12Speaker 5: described before, it's not going to satisfy the Israelis, and
- 3:18Speaker 5: the Israelis have made it very clear that they will
- 3:21Speaker 5: attack Iran alone if that is necessary. And of course
- 3:27Speaker 5: if they attack Iran, there's no way we don't get
- 3:30Speaker 5: involved because we're going to then have to help defend
- 3:33Speaker 5: Israel when the Iranians start launching ballistic missiles at Israel.
- 3:38Speaker 5: And also we're going to get involved because the Iranians
- 3:41Speaker 5: are in all likelihood going to try to shut down
- 3:44Speaker 5: the straits or horror moves and stop the flow of
- 3:46Speaker 5: oil out of the Persian Gulf. So I don't see
- 3:50Speaker 5: what Trump can do.
- 3:51Speaker 3: Tote Professor Meersheimer's warning there about what this is all
- 3:54Speaker 3: really about in some of the bigger stakes. This all
- 3:57Speaker 3: comes again as all of these military assets which we're
- 4:01Speaker 3: about to show you are arriving in the Persian Gulf
- 4:04Speaker 3: and in the surrounding Middle East.
- 4:06Speaker 1: You also have US assets.
- 4:08Speaker 3: And service members non essential personnel being evacuated from these bases.
- 4:12Speaker 3: All signs are currently pointing to this. The White House
- 4:14Speaker 3: was asked about yesterday whether they would strike Iran or not,
- 4:18Speaker 3: and they certainly would not neither not rule it out.
- 4:20Speaker 3: But so there's a lot of good reasons to do. So,
- 4:22Speaker 3: let's take a listen to the Press secretary.
- 4:24Speaker 6: Can you share a little bit about the President's thinking
- 4:26Speaker 6: on whether or not to strike Iran, who he's talking to,
- 4:29Speaker 6: what information he's consuming, and why a strike might be
- 4:33Speaker 6: necessary on a nuclear program he says was obliterated by
- 4:36Speaker 6: the last US strike.
- 4:37Speaker 7: Well, there's many reasons and arguments that one could make
- 4:41Speaker 7: for a strike against the against Iran. The President had
- 4:45Speaker 7: a very successful operation as Commander in Chief with Operation
- 4:49Speaker 7: Midnight Hammer, as you know, as you just said, totally
- 4:52Speaker 7: obliterated Iran's nuclear facilities. The President has always been very
- 4:56Speaker 7: clear though, with respect to Iran or any country around
- 4:59Speaker 7: the world, diplomacy is always his first option, and Iran
- 5:02Speaker 7: would be very wise to make a deal with President Trump.
- 5:06Speaker 7: And with this administration, he's talking to many people. Of course,
- 5:09Speaker 7: his National security team first and foremost, and you know
- 5:13Speaker 7: who the members of that team are. And this is
- 5:15Speaker 7: something obviously the President takes seriously.
- 5:18Speaker 1: He's always thinking.
- 5:19Speaker 7: About what's in the best interests of the United States
- 5:21Speaker 7: of America, of our military, of the American people.
- 5:23Speaker 3: Many arguments could be foot forward as to why we
- 5:26Speaker 3: should strike Iran. Okay, well, they're certainly not ruling any
- 5:30Speaker 3: of that up.
- 5:30Speaker 2: I like how they don't actually make the arguments though.
- 5:32Speaker 2: They're just like, there are arguments bigger.
- 5:35Speaker 8: Than out I have.
- 5:36Speaker 3: There is no precedent in American history except for Venezuela,
- 5:40Speaker 3: of this amount of build up of US military.
- 5:43Speaker 1: This is more than Midnight Hammer. This is golf war level.
- 5:46Speaker 3: Like we are talking about hundreds of thousands of US
- 5:50Speaker 3: assets and all of that from across the world. You
- 5:53Speaker 3: have air tankers, jets, service members, naval assets, carrier strike
- 5:59Speaker 3: groups being built up. I mean, if you were not
- 6:02Speaker 3: reading the news, you would have no idea and you'd
- 6:04Speaker 3: have to like really read the news to be able
- 6:07Speaker 3: to find this out. It's stunning to me they're making
- 6:09Speaker 3: no argument, and I think because the more the American
- 6:12Speaker 3: people learned, they'd be like, wait, I thought we hit
- 6:14Speaker 3: them before you told me he was already over Yeah, So.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Why do we have to care of it again?
- 6:18Speaker 8: What are we doing?
- 6:19Speaker 3: Right?
- 6:19Speaker 1: But what's the whole point of this? Because of some
- 6:21Speaker 1: missiles for Israel.
- 6:23Speaker 3: No no, no, no, I'm out. That's why they're not
- 6:25Speaker 3: even trying. If you learn about this, you're like, this
- 6:27Speaker 3: is insane. I'm not on board with this at all.
- 6:29Speaker 2: I think there's also a bit of a boy who
- 6:31Speaker 2: Cried Wolf dynamic going on in terms of the lack
- 6:34Speaker 2: of attention paid by the media but also by the
- 6:37Speaker 2: American public, because Trump is constantly threatening this or that
- 6:39Speaker 2: in the other country, in Canada and Mexico and Venezuela
- 6:42Speaker 2: and Greenland, and obviously some of these threats he makes
- 6:45Speaker 2: good on in some certain way. But I think that's
- 6:47Speaker 2: part of why there isn't more focused attention from the
- 6:50Speaker 2: American people on this. To your point about the military assets,
- 6:53Speaker 2: I was reading Matthew ho who's former military himself, and
- 6:56Speaker 2: he had an interesting analysis here because obviously, one reading
- 7:00Speaker 2: the military assets is it's a threat and it's meant
- 7:02Speaker 2: to coerce them in negotiations. And even you know, one
- 7:06Speaker 2: reading of all the Trump officials leaking oh my god,
- 7:09Speaker 2: ninety percent chance that we're going to war, etc. One
- 7:12Speaker 2: way of reading that is that's all basically a threat
- 7:14Speaker 2: and a sign up to try to coerce the iraniance
- 7:16Speaker 2: in terms of the negotiations. I thought this analysis from
- 7:19Speaker 2: matthew Hoe was significant in terms of kind of debunking
- 7:22Speaker 2: that narrative and putting some credence to the idea like no, no, no,
- 7:25Speaker 2: this is the thing they're actually planning on going through with.
- 7:28Speaker 2: He says, this is the strongest indication to me of
- 7:30Speaker 2: the seriousness of the US threat to Iran. The US
- 7:32Speaker 2: has just deployed more than two thirds of its available
- 7:35Speaker 2: E three command control aircraft to Europe and the Middle East.
- 7:39Speaker 2: The E three is an incredibly important aircraft for those
- 7:41Speaker 2: unfamiliars to the large airplane that looks like an airliner
- 7:44Speaker 2: but with revolving radar disc on top. It's loaded with
- 7:47Speaker 2: an aircrew whose job is to observe, manage, and control
- 7:50Speaker 2: the airspace in its area. It is especially important for
- 7:53Speaker 2: directing fighters and ground sea based missile interceptors against Iranian
- 7:57Speaker 2: missiles and drones. He goes on to talk about how like,
- 8:00Speaker 2: we don't have that many of these things, and the
- 8:02Speaker 2: vast bulk of them are now in the region, and
- 8:04Speaker 2: it is not the sort of aircraft or military equipment
- 8:08Speaker 2: that you would send to just be like, look at
- 8:10Speaker 2: how tough we are. They're these like clunky, sort of
- 8:12Speaker 2: like non impressive things, but if you're actually going to
- 8:14Speaker 2: go through with the thing, they're absolutely essential. So I
- 8:17Speaker 2: thought that was an interesting analysis, just to dig into
- 8:20Speaker 2: what exactly they're sending into the region, trying to read
- 8:23Speaker 2: the tea leaves of how serious this is.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Yeah, we'll get to all the assets.
- 8:27Speaker 3: I mean, the other reason why I think it's going
- 8:29Speaker 3: to happen is this amount of air real refueling.
- 8:31Speaker 1: That is the precursor. I've talked about this.
- 8:33Speaker 3: So I met somebody who had an intimate knowledge of
- 8:36Speaker 3: the so called op plan. The OP plan for attacking Iran.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Midnight Hammer was like day one, part one of what
- 8:44Speaker 3: it was supposed to be. It was a thirty five
- 8:46Speaker 3: day bombing campaign which involves cruise missiles, a massive part
- 8:51Speaker 3: of the entire US military stockpiles. It has all this
- 8:55Speaker 3: contingency planning. It looks a lot more like this in
- 8:58Speaker 3: terms of the refueling all the jets for the stuff
- 9:01Speaker 3: to defend Israel, because the immediate reaction expected is not
- 9:05Speaker 3: only strikes on Israel, but also strikes on the United States.
- 9:08Speaker 3: Another piece of news many of you may have missed
- 9:11Speaker 3: is that US military bases in Syria are all unceremoniously closing.
- 9:16Speaker 3: Now you might think, oh, that's great, we've been calling
- 9:18Speaker 3: for Yeah, yeah, Why is it closing now? Why because
- 9:22Speaker 3: it is very closed to Iran, very susceptible to attack.
- 9:25Speaker 3: They've had multiple sort of instances. Even the bases in Iraq,
- 9:28Speaker 3: those are much more hardened than some of the bases
- 9:30Speaker 3: in Syria that are the most vulnerable ones.
- 9:32Speaker 1: So they're planning. Another thing many of you may have missed.
- 9:35Speaker 3: Donald Trump had a very sneaky line in truth Social
- 9:38Speaker 3: just yesterday where he was going after the British Prime
- 9:40Speaker 3: Minister for this new lease on Diego Garcia, which is
- 9:44Speaker 3: a Pacific base and for refeling and for taking off,
- 9:48Speaker 3: and in it he goes, Iran, if we attack, may
- 9:51Speaker 3: attack other friendly countries. So the contingency plans are everywhere
- 9:55Speaker 3: for this entire thing. And this looks like the full,
- 9:58Speaker 3: like the big one. Now, I'm not saying that we're
- 10:00Speaker 3: going to see hundreds of thousands of troops on the ground.
- 10:02Speaker 3: I don't think that that's what this administration will ever do.
- 10:05Speaker 3: Because they've learned the lesson of Iraq. This is going
- 10:07Speaker 3: to be Libya, style is you decapitate, you destroy, and
- 10:11Speaker 3: you basically just declare victory immediately. And then when civil
- 10:14Speaker 3: war erupts six months later, who could have seen any
- 10:17Speaker 3: of that coming?
- 10:17Speaker 1: Right?
- 10:18Speaker 3: Let the Israelis continue to do the dirty work of
- 10:21Speaker 3: all of that. And so, you know, let's turn now
- 10:24Speaker 3: to the Vice President who was on Fox News talking
- 10:27Speaker 3: about the negotiations, saying, well, in some ways they went well,
- 10:30Speaker 3: in some ways they didn't.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Let's take a listen.
- 10:32Speaker 9: We would very much like, as the President has said,
- 10:35Speaker 9: to resolve this through a conversation in a diplomatic negotiation,
- 10:39Speaker 9: but the President has all options on the table. And
- 10:41Speaker 9: you know, one thing about the negotiation I will say
- 10:43Speaker 9: this morning is you know, in some ways it went.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Well, they agreed to meet afterwards.
- 10:47Speaker 9: But in other way is it was very clear that
- 10:49Speaker 9: the President has set some red lines that the Iranians
- 10:52Speaker 9: are not yet willing to actually acknowledge and work through.
- 10:56Speaker 9: So we're going to keep on working it. But of
- 10:58Speaker 9: course the President reserves the ability to say when he
- 11:01Speaker 9: thinks that diplomacy has reached its natural end. We hope
- 11:04Speaker 9: we don't get to that point, but if we do,
- 11:06Speaker 9: that'll be the president's call.
- 11:07Speaker 3: President red lines. Look, this is all nonsense. The red
- 11:11Speaker 3: lines are Israeli red lives. There's nobody cared about ballistic
- 11:14Speaker 3: missiles until December when Prime Minister Netanyahu came here. This
- 11:18Speaker 3: entire thing is a manufactured crisis, a war of choice
- 11:22Speaker 3: on behalf of the United States. Iran is not closer
- 11:24Speaker 3: to a nuclear bomb. They're not even claiming it right now.
- 11:27Speaker 3: If they were, they would say it just like they
- 11:29Speaker 3: did previously, they would release the intelligence. I mean, does
- 11:31Speaker 3: anyone else feel dramatically insulted? At least last time around
- 11:34Speaker 3: we had the yellow Cake, the uranium, and you know,
- 11:38Speaker 3: and Colon Powell and his president. At this time around,
- 11:40Speaker 3: there's nothing. I mean, this is more bullshit than he Rock,
- 11:43Speaker 3: which I never thought I would live to see. I
- 11:45Speaker 3: truly did not live think I would ever live to
- 11:47Speaker 3: see this.
- 11:48Speaker 1: But here we are.
- 11:49Speaker 2: They're not bothering to manufacture a real case. So if
- 11:52Speaker 2: I had to guess what is going on here and
- 11:55Speaker 2: what has gone on here is effectively Trump wanted to
- 11:58Speaker 2: do some little sort of like you know, choreographed exchange
- 12:01Speaker 2: similar to the Twelve Days War with Iran previously, and
- 12:05Speaker 2: so there was a level of assets in the region
- 12:06Speaker 2: that would be commensurate with that sort of approach, and
- 12:09Speaker 2: then the Iranians were like, no, we can't just keep
- 12:12Speaker 2: letting you attack us and just do symbolic responses. We're
- 12:16Speaker 2: serious this time, We're not messing around. And so that
- 12:19Speaker 2: pushed the timeline back because then you have to usher
- 12:22Speaker 2: more assets into the region. And as long as you
- 12:26Speaker 2: are allowing Iran, allowing Israel to sort of like pull
- 12:30Speaker 2: your chain and move the red lines. And now Trump
- 12:33Speaker 2: has backed himself into this corner, it's hard to see
- 12:35Speaker 2: how they get out of it. And I think, what,
- 12:38Speaker 2: you know, the reason why they have so much that
- 12:40Speaker 2: they've moved to the region is because they want to
- 12:43Speaker 2: not only de capitate the regime, they want to degrade
- 12:45Speaker 2: their capability sufficiently that they can't really adequately respond. And
- 12:50Speaker 2: so that's why they're going for this potential approach of
- 12:52Speaker 2: like overwhelming force, and maybe that will be successful.
- 12:56Speaker 8: And maybe it won't.
- 12:57Speaker 2: You know, you, anytime you're talking about connect action, you
- 13:01Speaker 2: are taking incredible risk. You are courting an unbelievable amount
- 13:05Speaker 2: of chaos. And Iran does have cars that they can play.
- 13:08Speaker 2: They were doing some military exercises in the straightup moves
- 13:10Speaker 2: to remind you, like, listen, this is a very important
- 13:12Speaker 2: part of the world. We have our own choke points
- 13:15Speaker 2: that could be very painful for your population, you know,
- 13:18Speaker 2: And yes we're going to we will suffer, probably more
- 13:20Speaker 2: than you, but we can make your people suffer too.
- 13:23Speaker 2: And they don't want this war. They are not behind you.
- 13:26Speaker 2: So there's going to be zero appetite from the American
- 13:28Speaker 2: people to suffer on behalf of this war of choice
- 13:31Speaker 2: against Iraq.
- 13:32Speaker 1: I see the difference. Our public is not engaged. This
- 13:36Speaker 1: is the biggest story in Iran. This is all anybody
- 13:38Speaker 1: in Iran is paying attention to.
- 13:40Speaker 3: And as we all found out, you know, during the protest,
- 13:42Speaker 3: it's not like people like love the regime. But if
- 13:45Speaker 3: you're going to be attacked by an outside power, guess what.
- 13:48Speaker 3: That's the dream of the power, the party in power
- 13:50Speaker 3: for somebody like them, who's actually quite weak. After a
- 13:53Speaker 3: protest like this, sure they remain in power. No, now
- 13:56Speaker 3: there's a rally around the flag. I mean, the best
- 13:58Speaker 3: hope from the United States. This is what I think
- 14:00Speaker 3: is going to happen. And this is where also if
- 14:02Speaker 3: you're anti war, we should call it like we see it.
- 14:04Speaker 3: What they want is for us to say tens of
- 14:06Speaker 3: thousands of Americans will die, That's probably not going to happen.
- 14:10Speaker 3: What's probably going to happen is a massive air campaign,
- 14:13Speaker 3: very similar to what happened with Libya, a no fly zone,
- 14:17Speaker 3: a destruction of IRGC facilities and nuclear research, maybe a
- 14:22Speaker 3: killing of the Ayahtola. It'll be like a couple of weeks.
- 14:26Speaker 3: Then they'll say mission accomplished. Whoever comes in next, you
- 14:30Speaker 3: negotiate on our terms. That's it, period. But we will
- 14:32Speaker 3: never occupy that way they can make fun of us
- 14:35Speaker 3: of who are anti war. See you said it would
- 14:37Speaker 3: be a forever war, kind of like with Venezuela. Yeah,
- 14:39Speaker 3: they were not actually going to care if it's a
- 14:41Speaker 3: democracy or whatever. You know, Oh, Israel cares whether Iran
- 14:44Speaker 3: is a democrat. No, okay, they prefer a monarchy. Yeah,
- 14:46Speaker 3: maybe they'll fly raise Apolovy or something like that back
- 14:49Speaker 3: into the country. But my point is the way that
- 14:52Speaker 3: this is going to go, they're going to use the
- 14:54Speaker 3: tip of the spear of the US military. We saw
- 14:56Speaker 3: it in Venezuela Special Operations, the only like the part
- 14:59Speaker 3: of our military, like the best of the best of
- 15:01Speaker 3: the best. Same with our ariel Like, yeah, there's nobody
- 15:04Speaker 3: who even comes close to American air superiority. But the
- 15:06Speaker 3: point is, and this is where I wanted to remember,
- 15:08Speaker 3: strategic endgame. Libya looked like a dramatic success. It was
- 15:12Speaker 3: very popular actually at the time, until it became a disaster. Syria,
- 15:16Speaker 3: same thing. I mean, oh, supporting the rebels, the red line,
- 15:19Speaker 3: chemical weapons, how could you be against that? Fourteen years
- 15:22Speaker 3: later there's a massive civil war, half a million people,
- 15:25Speaker 3: all of that are dead, dramatically unpopular, the refugee crisis,
- 15:30Speaker 3: that's what's going to happen. And then the Israeli part
- 15:32Speaker 3: of this is very important too. They're going to try
- 15:35Speaker 3: and tell you this is about going after the Iranians.
- 15:37Speaker 3: The Iranians are bad. What the Israelis want is to
- 15:40Speaker 3: turn Iran into Syria, into a rump state which is
- 15:45Speaker 3: beleaguered by civil war where they can go and assassinate
- 15:48Speaker 3: Irgc people. They want it to splinter. They don't want
- 15:51Speaker 3: any more regional power. They want to see it collapse
- 15:54Speaker 3: into a full blown civil war that eventually, you know, oh,
- 15:58Speaker 3: if it comes out better on the other side, like
- 16:00Speaker 3: with Syria, who cares al Qaida whatever? As long as
- 16:03Speaker 3: he's pro Israel, it doesn't matter to me, right, So
- 16:05Speaker 3: this is not about the Iranian people. They will have
- 16:07Speaker 3: an immense, immense amount of suffering. And so for those
- 16:10Speaker 3: of us who are against this, we have to calibrate
- 16:13Speaker 3: our expectations. They want us to freak out, to say
- 16:16Speaker 3: that hundreds of troops are going to die. That's again,
- 16:18Speaker 3: I really don't think that's going to happen. There will
- 16:20Speaker 3: be pain, almost certainly. We shouldn't underestimate our own military
- 16:23Speaker 3: capabilities when you throw it all out, as we all
- 16:25Speaker 3: saw against Saddam, right against Saddam, Shock and awe.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Yeah, it works, It actually works pretty well.
- 16:31Speaker 3: We can never do the next part, and you cannot
- 16:33Speaker 3: have faith in these people because this time around they
- 16:35Speaker 3: won't try to go for democracy. They're just going to say, well, oh,
- 16:38Speaker 3: as long as they don't pursue nukes. But inside that
- 16:40Speaker 3: bubbling cauldron is a nightmare, as we've seen every single time.
- 16:45Speaker 2: One more point on that, which I think ties in
- 16:48Speaker 2: with the Epstein Files coverage that we've done and what
- 16:51Speaker 2: we've learned from the emails Jeffrey Epstein sending to any
- 16:53Speaker 2: number of people, is that the Epstein class views war
- 16:57Speaker 2: as a positive, like as an overt positive. They see
- 17:00Speaker 2: the chaos, the death, destruction, as this is how we
- 17:03Speaker 2: consolidate more wealth and power. So you have you know,
- 17:07Speaker 2: you have a whole class of people who are cheering
- 17:09Speaker 2: for war with Iran because they want exactly the warning
- 17:12Speaker 2: that Soger issuing about like this, you know, failed rump state,
- 17:17Speaker 2: civil war, refugee crisis, chaos, economic collapse, all of those
- 17:22Speaker 2: sorts of things. There is a very powerful class around
- 17:25Speaker 2: the world that looks at that and goes, great, that is,
- 17:29Speaker 2: that's my moment to shine. That's where I can gather
- 17:31Speaker 2: up even war, That's where I can feast on the
- 17:33Speaker 2: carcass of this country and benefit directly from that chaos.
- 17:38Speaker 2: And so as you're looking at you know, this very
- 17:40Speaker 2: likely war and all of the other ones that we
- 17:42Speaker 2: just can't stop, you know, we continually don't blunder into,
- 17:46Speaker 2: intentionally get ourselves into around the world. That is a
- 17:49Speaker 2: lot of the logic of why we continually go in
- 17:52Speaker 2: this direction.
- 17:52Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly. Okay, So let's go to A four then,
- 17:54Speaker 3: just to show everybody the plan. And so if Barack
- 17:56Speaker 3: Revit is writing it, you know it's all there. Trump
- 17:58Speaker 3: moves closer to a major war with Ron. The Trump
- 18:01Speaker 3: administration is closer to a major war in the Middle
- 18:03Speaker 3: East than Americans realized. US military operation would be a
- 18:06Speaker 3: quote massive, weeks long campaign that would look more like
- 18:09Speaker 3: full fledged war than last month's pinpoint operation in Venezuela.
- 18:12Speaker 1: The source is noted.
- 18:13Speaker 3: It would likely be a joint US Israeli campaign that
- 18:16Speaker 3: is much broader in scope and existential for the regime
- 18:19Speaker 3: than the twelve Day war previously. Such a war would
- 18:22Speaker 3: have dramatic influence on the entire region. Trump came close
- 18:25Speaker 3: to striking Iran in early January. When the window of
- 18:28Speaker 3: opportunity passed, the administration shifted to a two track approach
- 18:31Speaker 3: nuclear talks paired with a massive military build up. By
- 18:34Speaker 3: delaying and bringing in so much force, Trump has raised
- 18:37Speaker 3: expectations for what an operation will look like if a
- 18:39Speaker 3: deal cannot be reached. Right now, a deal does not
- 18:42Speaker 3: look likely, and again the reason why is because the
- 18:45Speaker 3: Iranians have willing to negotiate all day long on nuclear enrichment.
- 18:49Speaker 3: But what they're saying is we have to have some
- 18:51Speaker 3: sovereign capability to have a civilian nuclear power. Look, maybe
- 18:56Speaker 3: they're lying. I know We're not going to take their
- 18:59Speaker 3: entire word for it. The whole point for them is
- 19:00Speaker 3: they're saving face. There's legitimacy, there's sovereignty, that's all involved.
- 19:05Speaker 3: But the real redline for them is the ballistic missiles.
- 19:07Speaker 3: They're like, we will not allow Israel to attack us
- 19:10Speaker 3: at will. We cannot do that, which again you can
- 19:13Speaker 3: understand that for any state that exists, yet effectively what
- 19:18Speaker 3: their strategic logic is, well, we might as well punish
- 19:21Speaker 3: them and show them that we can do something and
- 19:24Speaker 3: hope they're see, this is the real tragedy of it.
- 19:26Speaker 3: We have set up the circumstance where these people, I mean,
- 19:29Speaker 3: what do they tell us all the time? They are
- 19:31Speaker 3: not afraid to die. I actually believe that now at
- 19:33Speaker 3: this time, I think that the IRGC and the IOTOL
- 19:36Speaker 3: and all those other people, they know ninety percent of
- 19:39Speaker 3: them will be killed.
- 19:39Speaker 1: I think they know that.
- 19:40Speaker 3: But they're like, at the end of the day, the
- 19:42Speaker 3: logic for preserving our regime, which again they believe in
- 19:46Speaker 3: the logic and all that of the Islamic Republic, is
- 19:49Speaker 3: that some of us will make it out of here.
- 19:50Speaker 3: And the hope is that the ten percent who make
- 19:52Speaker 3: it they'll survive, and this is about our sovereignty, and
- 19:55Speaker 3: they know that they're going to be killed. Like they
- 19:57Speaker 3: are very aware of their military capabilities. It's they're not
- 20:02Speaker 3: going to be able to do very much. They can
- 20:04Speaker 3: do some damage, and I certainly think that they will,
- 20:07Speaker 3: but it's not going to be even close. All they
- 20:09Speaker 3: can hope for is an insurgent Hoothy like strategy, spread
- 20:12Speaker 3: the weapons around and just be a pain in the
- 20:14Speaker 3: ass for a very very long period of time and
- 20:16Speaker 3: open that You and I if we have to go
- 20:18Speaker 3: to the gas pump, are like, hey, why am I
- 20:20Speaker 3: paying five point fifty a gallon? Right, which again, the
- 20:23Speaker 3: Hoothies were very capable of doing, and we're not nearly
- 20:26Speaker 3: as capable as the IRGC. Same with an insurgency, as
- 20:29Speaker 3: we saw an I rack, they want to make it
- 20:31Speaker 3: as miserable as possible. That it's a long and a
- 20:33Speaker 3: very dangerous thing for the civilian population. So this is
- 20:36Speaker 3: bad because they know that thousand, I mean, who knows
- 20:38Speaker 3: how many civilians would be killed in an Israeli US
- 20:41Speaker 3: operation against you. It's a nightmare for the Iranian people. Yeah,
- 20:45Speaker 3: then it's a nightmare too because the government is basically like, yep,
- 20:49Speaker 3: they're all going to die, and so are we.
- 20:51Speaker 1: It's self suicide.
- 20:52Speaker 3: And then the real nightmare on our part is our
- 20:54Speaker 3: population is asleep, you know, watching the NBA or something
- 20:58Speaker 3: like that, and when are they going to wake up?
- 21:00Speaker 3: Only when the bombs start falling on Tehran. They have
- 21:03Speaker 3: no idea that anything's going on right now.
- 21:06Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, And I mean from the Iranians perspective, they're
- 21:09Speaker 2: like these Americans. And by the way, they're like Gulf
- 21:12Speaker 2: Arab allies are coddled, you know, in the UAE and
- 21:15Speaker 2: wherever they're like outnumbered. Their population is outnumbered by their
- 21:18Speaker 2: indentured workforce. They're you know here in the US, they're
- 21:22Speaker 2: they're not bought in on this idea. They're not ready
- 21:24Speaker 2: to pay any sort of price, and so we can
- 21:26Speaker 2: exact some pain now, I mean maybe they can, maybe
- 21:29Speaker 2: they can't, depending on how effective that first wave of
- 21:31Speaker 2: strikes are. But you know, that's this is the logic
- 21:34Speaker 2: that we've created multiple times. We've now had the Iranians
- 21:38Speaker 2: agree to effectively these choreographed responses where it's like, Okay,
- 21:41Speaker 2: we think this right tactical approach is will do a
- 21:44Speaker 2: limited response that doesn't result in any US soldier deaths
- 21:50Speaker 2: or significant damage, and then that will persuade them to
- 21:53Speaker 2: leave us alone. And clearly, clearly that approach hasn't worked,
- 21:57Speaker 2: so now they're okay, Well, I guess we have to
- 22:00Speaker 2: take a different approach. The idea that they would give
- 22:02Speaker 2: up their ballisticness, I mean, that is insane. No country
- 22:05Speaker 2: would agree to that. Then you can't project force at
- 22:08Speaker 2: all in your read I mean you're just a sitting duck.
- 22:11Speaker 2: Then for Israel and you know, whatever they then their
- 22:13Speaker 2: approxy and whatever they want to do to you, and
- 22:15Speaker 2: for us as well, there is no and that is
- 22:18Speaker 2: intentionally put in to these negotiations, inserted into these negotiations
- 22:22Speaker 2: by nat Yahoo and agreed to by our idiot president
- 22:25Speaker 2: as an intentional poison pill. Let's go ahead and play
- 22:31Speaker 2: and take a listen to this is a professor at
- 22:33Speaker 2: the University of Tehran who you know speaks to Western
- 22:36Speaker 2: media quite a lot, or I guess, like you know,
- 22:39Speaker 2: western but non establishment media quite a big English.
- 22:42Speaker 3: He's basically a regime translator for the rest of us,
- 22:45Speaker 3: which is fine.
- 22:46Speaker 1: We want to show people what they're thinking.
- 22:48Speaker 2: Of well, and in fairness to him, I mean you
- 22:50Speaker 2: live in Iran, your university professor like your ability to
- 22:54Speaker 2: completely speak freely is going to be curtailed. But in
- 22:57Speaker 2: any case, I wanted to play a bit of how
- 23:00Speaker 2: he is explaining the view from inside Iran and how
- 23:03Speaker 2: they're thinking about, you know, we as we pursued on
- 23:07Speaker 2: this march to war, how they're thinking about what they have,
- 23:10Speaker 2: what this is about, and what chips they have to
- 23:13Speaker 2: play as well.
- 23:14Speaker 8: Let's take a listen to that.
- 23:15Speaker 10: This is not a normal part of the world. This
- 23:18Speaker 10: is not an ordinary region. It is full of oil
- 23:23Speaker 10: and gas installations, oil and gas wells, It is full
- 23:28Speaker 10: of refineries, it is full of ports for exporting oil
- 23:35Speaker 10: and gas, importing goods from the West through all the
- 23:39Speaker 10: wealth that is accumulated and from different parts of the world.
- 23:43Speaker 10: And then you have ships hankers coming and going. Then
- 23:48Speaker 10: you have the Strait of Hormos. The Persian Gulf itself
- 23:51Speaker 10: is not very wide. Iran controls one side of it
- 23:53Speaker 10: and islands in the middle of it. And then there's
- 23:56Speaker 10: the Indian Ocean. There is with the missiut capabilities and
- 24:02Speaker 10: drone capabilities that he run has, whether they're from the
- 24:06Speaker 10: sea or the land. The global economy will be devastated
- 24:12Speaker 10: and the price of energy will go through the roof
- 24:15Speaker 10: Trump being weak and vulnerable as things are unpopular people
- 24:22Speaker 10: opposing war in the United States, you now have a
- 24:26Speaker 10: very difficult economic situation. It's getting worse in the United States.
- 24:31Speaker 10: And then to add on all that is of course
- 24:36Speaker 10: the exposure of the Epstein class to the American people
- 24:41Speaker 10: and the cover up and the continued cover up. So
- 24:45Speaker 10: he's not going to have popular support when he engages
- 24:49Speaker 10: in war, and when the pain starts kicking in, Americans
- 24:57Speaker 10: are not going to like that. His own small, his
- 25:00Speaker 10: own thirty percent or so supporters are going to be
- 25:03Speaker 10: the first to be outraged when they lose their jobs.
- 25:06Speaker 2: I thought it was interesting, and he mentioned several times
- 25:09Speaker 2: around this interview the Epstein class and tying that in
- 25:12Speaker 2: and saying this is this war and the whole march
- 25:14Speaker 2: to war, this is the doing of the Epstein class,
- 25:16Speaker 2: and talking about the vulnerability of Trump, who was both
- 25:19Speaker 2: in the files and also you know, responsible for this
- 25:21Speaker 2: mass cover up that has created this back last year
- 25:23Speaker 2: in the population.
- 25:24Speaker 1: What do you learn from that? They're not stupid?
- 25:26Speaker 3: And like, that's one of the things I really hate
- 25:28Speaker 3: often about the way that we paint our adversaries, even
- 25:31Speaker 3: with the al Qaeda with the tether. Oh, they're just
- 25:35Speaker 3: you know, goat herders and caves. So I'm like, yeah,
- 25:37Speaker 3: the gunman maybe, I'm like, the people at the top
- 25:39Speaker 3: are definitely not like that same thing with you.
- 25:41Speaker 1: I mean, what do you hear all the time? It's
- 25:43Speaker 1: a great civilization, you know.
- 25:44Speaker 3: They they invented math and all of the right, they
- 25:48Speaker 3: have this great air of learning. And yeah, that's the point, like,
- 25:52Speaker 3: we're not up against a bunch of roots. Like these
- 25:54Speaker 3: people have survived for decades despite being punished by the West,
- 25:58Speaker 3: including with sanctions.
- 26:00Speaker 2: I mean items for I mean, like you said, decades,
- 26:05Speaker 2: that's an astonishing accomplishment. Yeah, I mean, this isn't the
- 26:08Speaker 2: first time an American regime has wanted to take them out.
- 26:11Speaker 2: And they've survived and you know, and I can't say thrive,
- 26:15Speaker 2: but they've survived.
- 26:16Speaker 3: Nonetheless, that's all they care about is survival. I mean
- 26:18Speaker 3: North Korea is a similar example. Like if you if
- 26:20Speaker 3: you're willing to bear pain, you can live as long
- 26:23Speaker 3: as you sprint to a bomb. Well, what we see
- 26:25Speaker 3: inside of their logic is also they're obviously paying deep
- 26:30Speaker 3: attention to US and in an asymmetric conflict Vietnam.
- 26:34Speaker 1: I mean, you know a lot of people forget this.
- 26:36Speaker 3: Everyone people said the same the HO team in he's
- 26:38Speaker 3: just a communist guy and no, Like they were very intelligent.
- 26:43Speaker 3: They deeply exploited the cleavage and American society over the
- 26:47Speaker 3: Vietnam War, and they intentionally fed into that.
- 26:49Speaker 1: They would invite Jane Fondo over right, and.
- 26:51Speaker 3: They had all these press conferences and they would make
- 26:54Speaker 3: it very clear with their propaganda like all of this
- 26:56Speaker 3: can end. This is not about you. You're being taken
- 26:58Speaker 3: advantage of. You're being drafted and sent to die. Like
- 27:01Speaker 3: they speak fluent English, they knew exactly how to play
- 27:04Speaker 3: into the problems for LBJ and the whole ten offensive thing.
- 27:08Speaker 3: Remember that we were killed LBJ wanting to run for
- 27:10Speaker 3: reelection like they know exactly what they're doing. You should
- 27:14Speaker 3: remember then that the Iranians have a very similar capacity.
- 27:17Speaker 3: I am a bit skept and actually this will be
- 27:20Speaker 3: a great testing ground for many of my theories of
- 27:23Speaker 3: the US military. I have long believed we're like a
- 27:26Speaker 3: Rolls Royce engine, which is really really cool but requires
- 27:30Speaker 3: an insane amount of mechanics and uptake and cost hundreds
- 27:35Speaker 3: of thousands of dollars. And what I've always feared is
- 27:37Speaker 3: that it could be taken out by these ten thousand
- 27:40Speaker 3: dollars drones in mass capacity with the Chinese and the Russians,
- 27:42Speaker 3: as the Ukrainians frankly have been able to stand up
- 27:45Speaker 3: even to their limited capacity against the Russians, like all
- 27:48Speaker 3: you need is drones running off to be able to
- 27:50Speaker 3: defeat like much more expensive technology. This will be a
- 27:53Speaker 3: genuine test case if it does happen. Can they actually
- 27:56Speaker 3: shut down the Straits and Hormuz? What are their capabilities?
- 27:58Speaker 3: They could actually be a paper tiger. I'm actually I'm
- 28:00Speaker 3: not ruling that out, considering what happened with the Twelve
- 28:03Speaker 3: Day War. So on the one hand, they had ballistic
- 28:05Speaker 3: missiles that were capable of hitting Israel. On the other hand,
- 28:08Speaker 3: there was a disaster for them, like a lot of
- 28:10Speaker 3: them that were killed and infiltrated by the Mosad.
- 28:13Speaker 1: It's very possible.
- 28:13Speaker 3: I wouldn't put it past the US military to wipe
- 28:15Speaker 3: out all their ballistic missile you know defenses. I mean, God,
- 28:18Speaker 3: our military has not been used in this way, I
- 28:21Speaker 3: mean since two thousand and three like who God only knows,
- 28:24Speaker 3: ai pollunteer.
- 28:25Speaker 1: And all of this, like we could probably wipe it out.
- 28:28Speaker 3: We could actually maybe destroy all their conventional capabilities.
- 28:31Speaker 1: But again, that doesn't mean that we're going to win
- 28:33Speaker 1: the strategic battle. So that's a long way, you know.
- 28:36Speaker 3: Kind of setting this up, let's put the maps and
- 28:38Speaker 3: all of that on the screen, just so you guys
- 28:39Speaker 3: can see all of these assets that are moving into
- 28:42Speaker 3: the region from all of these refeeling tankers and different
- 28:46Speaker 3: military assets. And you talked about the command and control
- 28:49Speaker 3: planes and the US Navy. Let's go to that one.
- 28:51Speaker 3: The next one, please third of the US military. US
- 28:54Speaker 3: Navy is now operating in and around the Persian Gulf,
- 28:57Speaker 3: two aircraft carriers air support. Harrison's with nineteen ninety one
- 29:01Speaker 3: and raises the question as as they say that nobody
- 29:03Speaker 3: wants to talk about and then a eight. Let's put
- 29:06Speaker 3: this one up here. This kind of highlights what I
- 29:08Speaker 3: was saying earlier. Iran is getting ready for war with
- 29:12Speaker 3: the United States, is confronting its biggest threat in decades.
- 29:15Speaker 3: The regime is trying to boost its odds of survival
- 29:17Speaker 3: if the diplomatic odds fall through. Tehran is deploying its forces,
- 29:21Speaker 3: dispersing decision making and authority, fortifying its nuclear sites, expanding
- 29:25Speaker 3: its crackdowns. The move reflects its leaders belief that survival
- 29:28Speaker 3: of the regime itself is at stake. It's like I said,
- 29:31Speaker 3: I mean, they know that they're all probably most of
- 29:34Speaker 3: them are probably going to die. So what you do
- 29:36Speaker 3: is you create a cell structure, you move it around,
- 29:38Speaker 3: You try and create survivability inside of your command and
- 29:41Speaker 3: control networks. They have been hardening some of their things,
- 29:44Speaker 3: and they're probably focusing on like a Pareto principle of
- 29:48Speaker 3: like the highest impact with the lowest amount of force.
- 29:50Speaker 3: Try and mine the straits of horn moves right and
- 29:52Speaker 3: make it so that it's instantaneous, like a button push.
- 29:55Speaker 3: Their ballistic missile capability probably will get wiped out very quickly,
- 29:59Speaker 3: so then you need like very these different nodes and
- 30:01Speaker 3: things that they may not be able to hit in
- 30:02Speaker 3: a first strike. Again, I'm not going to underestimate the
- 30:05Speaker 3: capacity of the US military, but it only takes one,
- 30:07Speaker 3: two three for it to change the entire strategic logic
- 30:10Speaker 3: of the situation.
- 30:11Speaker 2: I mean, on the one hand, you've got the Venezuela example,
- 30:14Speaker 2: where you know, Venezuela had supposedly significant capabilities that were
- 30:17Speaker 2: just wiped down right, and there was you know, not
- 30:19Speaker 2: a single US service member is killed in this, you know,
- 30:23Speaker 2: extraordinary action, et cetera.
- 30:24Speaker 8: On the other hand, you have the example.
- 30:26Speaker 2: Of the Hoofies, where it's this ragtag group of you know,
- 30:29Speaker 2: some like cheap some of it off the shelf technology,
- 30:32Speaker 2: and we're effectively defeated by that. We're like, okay, we're
- 30:35Speaker 2: just not really you know, up for expending what would
- 30:38Speaker 2: be required to deal with this situation.
- 30:40Speaker 8: So we're moving in along.
- 30:42Speaker 2: So you have both examples, you know, in recent and
- 30:44Speaker 2: recent memory, and you know, to the point of Iranian preparation.
- 30:49Speaker 2: Keep in mind that we learned something from the Twelve
- 30:53Speaker 2: Days where the Israeli has learned something from the Twelve
- 30:56Speaker 2: Days or including the fact that they do have some
- 30:58Speaker 2: vulnerability to being able to hit them and penetrate their
- 31:02Speaker 2: air defenses. The Iranians also learned from the Twelve Days
- 31:06Speaker 2: War about what they're able to accomplish where those weaknesses
- 31:09Speaker 2: and vulnerabilities are, you know, in terms of Israeli air
- 31:12Speaker 2: defenses in particular. So and they learned about, okay, who
- 31:16Speaker 2: are the infiltrators, you know, where how were we compromised
- 31:20Speaker 2: in this way? They also learned from the protest because
- 31:24Speaker 2: you know, one of the things that happened during the
- 31:26Speaker 2: protest is we helped to funnel a bunch of Starlink
- 31:29Speaker 2: satellites into Iran, so that you know, and we're you know,
- 31:34Speaker 2: out there Mike Vompey and others bragging about, Oh to
- 31:37Speaker 2: the massage agents who are marching alongside the protesters, congratulations.
- 31:40Speaker 2: So in any case, you know, the protests were a
- 31:42Speaker 2: fantastic opportunity for the Iranians to smoke down Okay, who who.
- 31:47Speaker 8: Are our ops?
- 31:48Speaker 2: And with the starlink thing, One of the theories is
- 31:51Speaker 2: because they were eventually able to take the starlink capacity
- 31:55Speaker 2: down as well, So were they able to track which
- 31:57Speaker 2: you know, that was an extraordinary development. Were they able
- 31:59Speaker 2: to track who were the owners of those terminals, who
- 32:02Speaker 2: was using that tech? Because that again would have given
- 32:04Speaker 2: them a blueprint and a roadmap to who are our
- 32:06Speaker 2: ops and how do we take them out? And some
- 32:08Speaker 2: of those would have been very likely you know, foreign
- 32:11Speaker 2: intel that could have you know, been causing problems and
- 32:14Speaker 2: providing intelligence to the Israelis most likely into the US obviously,
- 32:18Speaker 2: you know, those two being very connected. So they have
- 32:20Speaker 2: also learned and have some ideas of where their vulnerabilities are,
- 32:25Speaker 2: where their strengths are, and the way that they need
- 32:27Speaker 2: to approach this as well. And so that's important to
- 32:29Speaker 2: keep in mind as too, that they have not remained
- 32:32Speaker 2: static to the point about the you know, the sort
- 32:35Speaker 2: of propaganda push.
- 32:36Speaker 8: This was interesting. Put a ten up on the screen.
- 32:39Speaker 2: Here you have the Iatola again getting in on the
- 32:42Speaker 2: kind of Epstein class discussion, and he tweeted out this
- 32:47Speaker 2: island of corruption, referring of course to Jeffrey Epstein's rape
- 32:51Speaker 2: Island is only one example. There as much more of this,
- 32:55Speaker 2: just as this was not a parent and then became exposed,
- 32:57Speaker 2: there are many other things that will soon come to light.
- 33:01Speaker 2: So a threat, a direct threat there that like, hey,
- 33:03Speaker 2: we've got some stuff, and you know, I mean, the
- 33:05Speaker 2: Iranians have successfully hacked Epstein's emails and have been you know,
- 33:10Speaker 2: successful Iranian hacks. And Ryan points out here, according to
- 33:13Speaker 2: search weren't used to search John Bolton's home, Iron hacked
- 33:16Speaker 2: Bolton's AOL account three times. That cash has not yet
- 33:19Speaker 2: been released. Comedy is hinting at leaks to come as
- 33:22Speaker 2: several US are models flowed nearby with countless missiles.
- 33:25Speaker 8: Aimed at his head. So maybe this is just an
- 33:28Speaker 8: empty threat.
- 33:29Speaker 2: But you know, there's a reason to believe that he
- 33:31Speaker 2: could have some some goods here. He could have some
- 33:33Speaker 2: sort of compromont that is, you know, plausibly could be released.
- 33:37Speaker 3: This is what you do, is you have to do
- 33:39Speaker 3: your best to try. You know, you leak stuff, you
- 33:41Speaker 3: make it difficult, you do the mining.
- 33:44Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 33:44Speaker 3: I'man on the one hand, I don't underestimate the US military.
- 33:47Speaker 3: On the other, like I look at Outhi's I look
- 33:49Speaker 3: at all you know, we've had.
- 33:50Speaker 1: A significant amount of planning.
- 33:51Speaker 3: I do know about all of the different problems in
- 33:54Speaker 3: logistics and supply chain. I mean, this is the problem.
- 33:56Speaker 3: You always know something is going to go wrong. Nothing
- 33:59Speaker 3: ever goes exactly according to plan. Even in Venezuela, one
- 34:02Speaker 3: of the helicopter pilots got shot to shit in on
- 34:05Speaker 3: the I think it was on the way out right,
- 34:06Speaker 3: Like it's a miracle he didn't die. Imagine how different
- 34:11Speaker 3: it is. I mean, think about the bin laden raid.
- 34:13Speaker 3: Always one of the most highly helicopter pilot. If you
- 34:17Speaker 3: don't have the best trained guy in the world in
- 34:19Speaker 3: that seat at that exact moment, everybody on the chopper dies, Right,
- 34:23Speaker 3: it's a different world.
- 34:25Speaker 1: Half the Navy seals get killed. It's a nightmare.
- 34:27Speaker 3: And then the Pakistani military arrives. Like that, history turns
- 34:32Speaker 3: on a dime and you never have any idea, And
- 34:34Speaker 3: especially if you have all of these guys a multi
- 34:38Speaker 3: week bombing campaign. It only takes one thing to go wrong.
- 34:42Speaker 3: And look at our look at think about the U
- 34:44Speaker 3: two spy plane crisis, you know with the Soviet Union,
- 34:46Speaker 3: like it was the greatest plane in the history of
- 34:49Speaker 3: the world. Boom gone, shot out of the sky. Now
- 34:50Speaker 3: we're doing bridge of spies, like swapping people in West Germany.
- 34:54Speaker 1: Like that's it.
- 34:55Speaker 3: Just you always have to hope for the best, plan
- 34:58Speaker 3: for the worst. And I've seen enough now over the
- 35:00Speaker 3: years just to know, like all it takes is one
- 35:03Speaker 3: or two different things. And we can I mean, can
- 35:05Speaker 3: you imagine if one thing goes wrong or if some
- 35:09Speaker 3: civilian tanker you know, misses the mine and gets blown up,
- 35:14Speaker 3: and you know, several Americans are like, we're gonna be
- 35:16Speaker 3: living in a different universe, Like that's troop level deployments
- 35:20Speaker 3: and all that, and you can't look to the people
- 35:22Speaker 3: who are in power and are like, oh yeah, they're
- 35:24Speaker 3: they're they're definitely looking out for all of our interests
- 35:27Speaker 3: and trying to turn down the dial like no, it's
- 35:30Speaker 3: this is bad all right. And then the last thing,
- 35:32Speaker 3: I know, we've been talking for a long time, A twelve.
- 35:34Speaker 3: Can we put that up there on the screen. I
- 35:36Speaker 3: just wanted to show you all what the Secretary of
- 35:39Speaker 3: Defense is up to. So yesterday, as all of these
- 35:41Speaker 3: missile you know, all of these carrier strike groups and
- 35:44Speaker 3: all of that are moving there, Secretary of headset joined
- 35:47Speaker 3: doctor Oz for a beachside brunch, hanging from trees, doing
- 35:51Speaker 3: cold plunges for leisurely afternoon quote into a Maha extravaganza
- 35:56Speaker 3: with tree pull ups, a cold plunge, and a Mediterranean feast.
- 36:00Speaker 1: So really glad to.
- 36:01Speaker 3: See the secretary so nice for Thank you, mister Secretary
- 36:04Speaker 3: for your service.
- 36:05Speaker 2: Last thing also shows you how essential disadministration thinks he
- 36:09Speaker 2: is to their planning.
- 36:10Speaker 3: To last thing will put up here major shout out
- 36:13Speaker 3: to again the heroes of our Timeana Thomas Massy.
- 36:16Speaker 1: Let's put that up there on the screen. The last element.
- 36:19Speaker 1: They are now.
- 36:20Speaker 3: Introducing a war powers resolution to debate and vote on
- 36:23Speaker 3: a war before putting US troops in harms.
- 36:25Speaker 1: May harm's way.
- 36:27Speaker 3: I will make a motion to discharge a force and
- 36:30Speaker 3: vote on it next week, so hoping that this will
- 36:33Speaker 3: actually come to pass. Thomas Massey Rocana bipartisan resolution will
- 36:38Speaker 3: terminate the use of US forces from hostilities against Iran
- 36:41Speaker 3: without congressional authorization, which of course is like the final thing.
- 36:45Speaker 3: There has never been a build up or a military
- 36:48Speaker 3: potential military action like this ever in United States history
- 36:52Speaker 3: of this magnitude without any congressional authorization. And by the way,
- 36:56Speaker 3: it's not that the congressman all support it, they just
- 36:58Speaker 3: don't want to vote for it, so you hold them accountable.
- 37:01Speaker 1: Yeah, let me make that clear too.
- 37:02Speaker 3: Outside of like five people who are in the US Congress,
- 37:05Speaker 3: they love this.
- 37:06Speaker 1: They're all supported.
- 37:07Speaker 2: Yeah. I saw Sanatra Mark Warner of course Democratic Virginia
- 37:11Speaker 2: Ken Klippenstein was clipping him saying like, oh, I'm glad
- 37:14Speaker 2: the President's keeping.
- 37:15Speaker 8: All the options on them.
- 37:15Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, exactly.
- 37:17Speaker 2: This is our opposition for you. That's fantastic. But shout
- 37:20Speaker 2: out to Row and Thomas Massey. The dynamic duo, and
- 37:23Speaker 2: one dynamic that Massy was highlighting a political interview that
- 37:27Speaker 2: I hadn't completely thought of. He thinks they're going to
- 37:30Speaker 2: be more Republican dissenters like himself going forward after primary season,
- 37:36Speaker 2: And in particular, one thing dynamic I had not thought
- 37:39Speaker 2: of is, you know, Trump did this big redistricting push.
- 37:43Speaker 2: You are going to have some Republicans who are redistricted
- 37:46Speaker 2: out of their seats.
- 37:47Speaker 8: Good point, they're gonna be like fuck you.
- 37:49Speaker 2: But on the other hand, they'll have to think about, like, oh,
- 37:52Speaker 2: if I piss off the president. No, not primary, but
- 37:54Speaker 2: what about my post congress job prospects if I'm not
- 37:58Speaker 2: in good with the administration, And you know, they'll have
- 38:00Speaker 2: to balance that. But I did think that was an
- 38:02Speaker 2: interesting note for him that he expects in the future
- 38:05Speaker 2: there could be more room more Republicans who are retiring,
- 38:08Speaker 2: who lost their primaries, who got redistricted down to their seats,
- 38:11Speaker 2: et cetera, who might be more open to taking a
- 38:13Speaker 2: dissenting line.
- 38:14Speaker 3: I'm not going to hold my breath for that one,
- 38:16Speaker 3: but it'd be great to see. Let's get to Tucker Carlson.
- 38:21Speaker 3: All right, we had to put this one. This is
- 38:24Speaker 3: just an insane, insane situation. So, for those of you
- 38:26Speaker 3: who haven't been following this, Tucker Carlson arrived in Israel yesterday.
- 38:31Speaker 3: He landed at the jet terminal and interviewed the ambassador,
- 38:36Speaker 3: Mike Huckabee after a Twitter challenge in the airport. Now,
- 38:40Speaker 3: he was only there for a couple of hours. Apparently
- 38:42Speaker 3: did not want to leave at the airport and the
- 38:45Speaker 3: protection around them.
- 38:46Speaker 1: Don't blame him. I wouldn't want to leave.
- 38:48Speaker 3: If I were him, I would never set foot on
- 38:50Speaker 3: Israeli soil, considering that, especially to go to Bethlehem or
- 38:54Speaker 3: any of these Christian communities with these crazy separatists with
- 38:57Speaker 3: guns who want to kill you.
- 38:59Speaker 1: Like I'm no way.
- 39:00Speaker 2: I saw some I saw some speculation that the Israelis
- 39:03Speaker 2: didn't want to let him in and there had to
- 39:05Speaker 2: be some State Department negotiations that result in him just
- 39:08Speaker 2: like Okay, he's just going to Bendary and airport.
- 39:10Speaker 8: That's it, right.
- 39:11Speaker 3: So the Israelis are criticizing him for not leaving the airport.
- 39:14Speaker 3: Then there's also this reporting that maybe the State Department
- 39:16Speaker 3: was like no, no, no, you have to let him in,
- 39:18Speaker 3: but just to interview us in our so who knows
- 39:20Speaker 3: what happened. Anyway, here's the story from Tucker and his team.
- 39:23Speaker 3: Let's put this up here on the screen. Tucker Carlton
- 39:25Speaker 3: quote detained in Israel journalists dragged into an interrogation room
- 39:30Speaker 3: as explosive interview sparks a diplomatic firestorm. So Tucker told
- 39:34Speaker 3: The Daily Mail that him his producer. Shortly after the interview,
- 39:39Speaker 3: Israeli officials confiscated his passport, hauled one of his colleagues
- 39:43Speaker 3: off to an interrogation room.
- 39:45Speaker 1: Quote.
- 39:45Speaker 3: Men who identified themselves as airport security took our passports,
- 39:50Speaker 3: hauled our executive producer into a side room, and then
- 39:53Speaker 3: demanded to know what we spoke to Ambassador Huckabee about.
- 39:56Speaker 1: Quote. It is bizarre.
- 39:57Speaker 3: We are now out of the country. This immediately ignited
- 40:02Speaker 3: a major firestorm, with especially from Israeli defenders. Let's put
- 40:06Speaker 3: their response up here on the screen. The Israeli Foreign
- 40:09Speaker 3: Minister insists quote. Contrary to reports, Tucker Carlson and his
- 40:14Speaker 3: entourage were not detained, delayed, or interrogated. Mister Carlson and
- 40:19Speaker 3: his party were politely asked a few routine questions in
- 40:24Speaker 3: accordance with standard procedure applied to many travelers. Did you
- 40:28Speaker 3: note that many aka not all travelers, many travelers.
- 40:32Speaker 1: The conversation took place.
- 40:33Speaker 3: In a separate room within the VIP lounge, solely to
- 40:36Speaker 3: protect their privacy and to avoid conducting such a discussion
- 40:39Speaker 3: in public. No unusual incident occurred, and Israel Airports Authority
- 40:44Speaker 3: firmly rejects other claims. So basically their defense is like, guys, guys, guys,
- 40:48Speaker 3: we didn't treat Tucker any differently. We interrogate and detain
- 40:52Speaker 3: and harass all foreign journalists. It's not clocking for you.
- 40:56Speaker 3: This is how we treat everybody that is an international belief.
- 41:00Speaker 3: Now I'm like, oh, I believe Yeah, I'm sure it's
- 41:04Speaker 3: more that they're shocked because I mean, these people have
- 41:07Speaker 3: went to Moscow, Saudi Arabia, and israelis the country that
- 41:12Speaker 3: detains them, harasses them. I mean, look, do you really
- 41:15Speaker 3: want to parse it if you's led to a separate
- 41:17Speaker 3: room where people take your passport and ask you a
- 41:21Speaker 3: question that is literally interrogation, whether it's polite or not.
- 41:25Speaker 1: Okay, I'll tell you this.
- 41:26Speaker 3: When I was in Israel, I was there for school,
- 41:29Speaker 3: and I was doing a program about counter terrorism. Okay,
- 41:34Speaker 3: and I have never been harassed in airport more in
- 41:38Speaker 3: my This is long before any show. I'm twenty two
- 41:41Speaker 3: something like that, and they're like, well, why are you
- 41:42Speaker 3: studying this? And I was like, I mean, I was like,
- 41:44Speaker 3: do you read the news? It was two hours constant
- 41:47Speaker 3: and I was flying to Jordan. Why are you going
- 41:48Speaker 3: to Jordan? Is your father Muslim? I was like, no,
- 41:51Speaker 3: is your grandfather Muslim? Have you had any association this
- 41:53Speaker 3: is twenty fifteen. Have you ever had any association association
- 41:57Speaker 3: with Muslims in the past. No, where do you study
- 42:00Speaker 3: in the United States? George Washington Universe?
- 42:03Speaker 4: Oh?
- 42:03Speaker 1: Why when did you graduate to you know?
- 42:05Speaker 10: With this?
- 42:05Speaker 3: Well, why why are you coming here now? It's like, well,
- 42:07Speaker 3: I'm doing a master's. It's like it was never ending,
- 42:10Speaker 3: and then uh, you had to go to a special
- 42:12Speaker 3: security line. And by the way, I was totally racially
- 42:14Speaker 3: profile because I was the only person who was detained
- 42:17Speaker 3: out of this whole group. And it was before they
- 42:19Speaker 3: even started questioning me. They came up to me like
- 42:22Speaker 3: the moment that I arrived at the airport based upon this,
- 42:25Speaker 3: before I even had a beard or anything like that.
- 42:27Speaker 3: And it was NonStop and then you know, and you're
- 42:29Speaker 3: and again I'm flying too. I'm the funny thing is
- 42:31Speaker 3: you landed. I'm on They're like, welcome to Jordan. Yeah,
- 42:35Speaker 3: that's what it was like over there. But even this
- 42:37Speaker 3: is me leaving the damn country. Oh, as an American citizen,
- 42:41Speaker 3: I have landed. I'm probably forty five to fifty different countries.
- 42:44Speaker 3: It was the worst experience. And this is me as
- 42:47Speaker 3: a student. So now imagine Tucker Carlson and his entire entourage.
- 42:51Speaker 3: So I believe Tucker and his team one, yeah, I
- 42:53Speaker 3: also believe the alas that there's routine to harass every
- 42:57Speaker 3: international journalist who goes in another car.
- 42:59Speaker 1: That's why I'm ever going back.
- 43:00Speaker 2: I mean, that's that's a tell. Is like, what is
- 43:02Speaker 2: it any of your business? What the interview between a
- 43:06Speaker 2: close ally of the President of the United States and
- 43:09Speaker 2: an American official, So an American media personality and an
- 43:13Speaker 2: American official, How is it any of your business? What
- 43:17Speaker 2: we discussed, what questions were asked, et cetera. I mean,
- 43:20Speaker 2: it is wild. It just underscore you know, we get
- 43:22Speaker 2: fed all those other those only democracy in the middle
- 43:24Speaker 2: is bubba. It just underscales what a crock of shit
- 43:27Speaker 2: that is, and especially with their rationale here, like, guys,
- 43:30Speaker 2: this is just how we operate, Like what is your deal?
- 43:32Speaker 2: The other thing I would say is, you know, they
- 43:35Speaker 2: they are authoritarians and they're very fragile, like they're they
- 43:39Speaker 2: are so sensitive. It reminds me some of the way
- 43:42Speaker 2: the Trump people operate, Like with this trying to you know,
- 43:44Speaker 2: the James Talerico interview and that whole situation. It's like,
- 43:47Speaker 2: by taking this heavy handed approach, you are you are
- 43:51Speaker 2: undermining the very thing that you're trying to accomplish.
- 43:54Speaker 8: Like now people are going to be even more interested.
- 43:56Speaker 2: In the Tucker Huckabee interview and what was said and
- 44:00Speaker 2: how that all went down. You they clearly have no
- 44:02Speaker 2: understanding of the strivesiand effect. But the other thing is
- 44:05Speaker 2: that their whole tactic is just to like scare people
- 44:08Speaker 2: and bully people, so that whether it's those journalists or
- 44:11Speaker 2: other journalists who hear of this story and don't want
- 44:13Speaker 2: to be harassed in ben Gurian Airport and decide, you
- 44:16Speaker 2: know what, I'm just going to leave this one alone.
- 44:18Speaker 8: I'm not going to do it.
- 44:19Speaker 2: I mean, that really is ultimately the goal here, because
- 44:21Speaker 2: the interview was already done.
- 44:23Speaker 8: There's no going back.
- 44:24Speaker 2: Now, maybe you can scare them into like editing some
- 44:27Speaker 2: part down, but I know highly doubt that that is
- 44:30Speaker 2: going to be the case. They've already got it like that.
- 44:32Speaker 2: You know, they're already out of the country. It's it's
- 44:34Speaker 2: dune fine.
- 44:34Speaker 1: I know them. They immediately uploaded it to the cloud
- 44:37Speaker 1: and got it. Yeah possible.
- 44:39Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 44:40Speaker 2: So the idea is like for future journalists to look
- 44:44Speaker 2: at this and be, you know, like, yeah, maybe this
- 44:46Speaker 2: is just.
- 44:46Speaker 8: Not really worth it.
- 44:47Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 44:47Speaker 3: I mean, I'll tell you I'm never going back there.
- 44:50Speaker 3: Let's put Huckabee's tweet up there on the screen. Hate defense.
- 44:53Speaker 3: By the way, this this is the humiliation ritual. Everyone
- 44:57Speaker 3: who comes out of Israel has passports checked and rech
- 45:00Speaker 3: temly asked security questions. Even me going in and out
- 45:03Speaker 3: with diplomatic passport, he goes even I the United States
- 45:06Speaker 3: ambassador and harassed going in out of this country. That's
- 45:08Speaker 3: how great this country is. You should be humiliated.
- 45:11Speaker 8: We're like, that's how cucked we are, right exactly, I'm
- 45:15Speaker 8: to be harassed, thank you.
- 45:17Speaker 3: I'm like, wait, so the US ambassador even this question, like,
- 45:20Speaker 3: oh whoa, We're not doing that over here. We pay
- 45:23Speaker 3: for your shit, mister. I cannot believe that this is
- 45:27Speaker 3: what happened. It's also funny all these all these other people,
- 45:30Speaker 3: They're like, guys, this is totally routine. When I flew
- 45:33Speaker 3: into Israel, I was also detained and harassed and my
- 45:36Speaker 3: staff was questioned. I'm like, uh, and nobody else seems
- 45:39Speaker 3: to have a problem with that, Like, what are you
- 45:41Speaker 3: talking about? Wow?
- 45:42Speaker 1: I just I can't believe it. I'm looking forward to
- 45:44Speaker 1: the interview.
- 45:45Speaker 3: Uh, specifically, why mister Huckabee allowed a convicted spy Jonathan
- 45:49Speaker 3: Pollard to come into his embassy on set foot on
- 45:53Speaker 3: US soil, literally a trader to the United States of America.
- 45:56Speaker 3: I believe that that beef is what set everything off here. Yeah,
- 46:00Speaker 3: Mike Hakabee, So we'll see. We'll see here for another
- 46:03Speaker 3: Ted Cruz moment.
- 46:04Speaker 8: Sure we're likely to cover it here on the show,
- 46:05Speaker 8: so I can tune for that.
- 46:07Speaker 3: Wait to see this one. Okay, let's get to Wexner.
- 46:12Speaker 3: Let's turn now to Leslie Wexner. But before we even
- 46:15Speaker 3: get to that major breaking news as of this morning,
- 46:19Speaker 3: let's go ahead and put this up here on the screen.
- 46:21Speaker 3: Prince Andrew or I guess the Prince formerly known as
- 46:24Speaker 3: Or Andrew, formerly known as Prince Andrew Mount Batton, Windsor,
- 46:28Speaker 3: has now been arrested in the United Kingdom of suspicion
- 46:31Speaker 3: of misconduct in public office. King Charles says the law
- 46:35Speaker 3: must take its course, refusing to even name him as
- 46:38Speaker 3: his own brother, and saying that he respects the police
- 46:42Speaker 3: in their in their current investigation and they're ruthless.
- 46:46Speaker 1: Oh I love it.
- 46:46Speaker 3: I'm loving every second of this entire thing quote. As
- 46:49Speaker 3: part of this investigation, we have today arrested a man
- 46:52Speaker 3: in his sixties from Norfolk on suspicion suspicion of misconduct
- 46:56Speaker 3: and public office, and are carrying out searches at addresses
- 46:59Speaker 3: in Berkshire and Norfolk.
- 47:00Speaker 1: The man remains in.
- 47:01Speaker 3: Public custody at this time. We will not be naming
- 47:04Speaker 3: the arrested man per national guidance. Please also remember this
- 47:07Speaker 3: case is now active and should be taken with any
- 47:09Speaker 3: publication to avoid being in contempt of court.
- 47:12Speaker 1: So this is very different rules there in the UK.
- 47:15Speaker 3: But basically the King later confirmed this morning that Prince
- 47:19Speaker 3: Andrew had been taken into custody. And there may be
- 47:22Speaker 3: some misunderstanding about this whole thing Prince Andrew is currently
- 47:27Speaker 3: being investigated, not necessarily for his conduct horrific conduct previously
- 47:32Speaker 3: with the pictures of him with the women in Virginia Guffrey, etc.
- 47:36Speaker 3: And remember, you know, he maintains his innocence. It's about
- 47:39Speaker 3: the shared information that he sent Epstein which was in
- 47:43Speaker 3: the files. Remember he was the trade advisor to the
- 47:46Speaker 3: UK and he was sharing sensitive documents including his schedule
- 47:50Speaker 3: and other inside information with Epstein that is open clearcut
- 47:54Speaker 3: and a violation of his official duties which he was
- 47:56Speaker 3: doing at the time. That's what he's under investigation for.
- 48:00Speaker 3: In addition, this is part of the Lord MANDELSSHN investigation
- 48:03Speaker 3: too for insider trading, for stock manipulation, for you know,
- 48:07Speaker 3: basically going after telling Jamie Diamond to try and blackmail
- 48:10Speaker 3: the Chancellor at the time. Like that's the criminality that
- 48:14Speaker 3: we're dealing with. Not to mention Prince Andrew, what is
- 48:17Speaker 3: an ex wife, Sarah Ferguson and all of her dealings
- 48:20Speaker 3: with Epstein.
- 48:21Speaker 1: Yeah, that's happening right now.
- 48:22Speaker 3: So there's a deep this goes deep in the British
- 48:24Speaker 3: aristocracy all the way up to the Prince. I was
- 48:27Speaker 3: telling you, Prince Andrew is now the first royal in
- 48:31Speaker 3: four hundred years to be arrested. The last one was
- 48:35Speaker 3: King Charles the First in sixteen forty seven during the
- 48:38Speaker 3: English Civil War, who was then executed some two years later.
- 48:42Speaker 1: So I would like to see some old Lindy justice here.
- 48:45Speaker 2: But anyway, yeah, well, I mean the while, I think
- 48:49Speaker 2: the interesting part is, like you said that, what they're
- 48:52Speaker 2: going after him for, the thing that is most concrete
- 48:55Speaker 2: is abusing the public trust by sending the sensitive information.
- 48:58Speaker 2: And it is very much like Mandelson appears to have
- 49:01Speaker 2: been up to as well and is now under investigation
- 49:03Speaker 2: for two and so you know, we've heard all this
- 49:06Speaker 2: nonsense in the US about there's nothing here that's prosecutable,
- 49:09Speaker 2: there's nothing here to investigate. It does seem like this
- 49:12Speaker 2: sort of either abuse of public trust or insider you know,
- 49:15Speaker 2: insider trading. That is one of the avenues that could
- 49:18Speaker 2: be the most clear cut in terms of legal consequences.
- 49:21Speaker 2: But you know, I think it's easy to forget because
- 49:23Speaker 2: we're very American centric that Gleayne Maxwell first was she's British, Like.
- 49:28Speaker 1: She's a British social upper crust. Yeah, I mean the
- 49:31Speaker 1: elite of the elite.
- 49:32Speaker 2: The Epstein class of the UK, and so you know
- 49:35Speaker 2: she had deep ties in elite society within the UK,
- 49:40Speaker 2: and so there is massive fallout there, including you know, Keerstarmer,
- 49:45Speaker 2: who already was deeply unpopular. He brought Mandelssohn into his
- 49:49Speaker 2: government at a time when this hadn't happened, hadn't all
- 49:53Speaker 2: come out, but it was known that he had had
- 49:55Speaker 2: some level of close Epstein contact, and you know he had.
- 50:00Speaker 2: He has now been caught in a lie. Andrew's been
- 50:02Speaker 2: caught in a lie, Fergy's been caught in a lie.
- 50:05Speaker 2: They all have been caught at this point in lying
- 50:07Speaker 2: about the nature and the extent of their relationship with Epstein.
- 50:11Speaker 2: So people are rightly saying, like, you knew that this
- 50:15Speaker 2: guy was in league with Jeffrey Epstein when you chose
- 50:18Speaker 2: to bring him into your government. So this has really,
- 50:21Speaker 2: you know, really created a massive crisis for him at
- 50:24Speaker 2: a time when he was already politically weak with the popelas.
- 50:26Speaker 3: It's a huge deal. Like I said, I mean, the
- 50:28Speaker 3: first royal to be arrested. So I was joking to
- 50:30Speaker 3: you Crystal this morning, I go, it doesn't feel right
- 50:32Speaker 3: to prosecute a prince like it's just it's like modernity
- 50:36Speaker 3: catching up with royalty. I think he should be banished, exiled,
- 50:40Speaker 3: married off against his will, hillaried in the Trafalgar Square,
- 50:44Speaker 3: reduced to rags in a stockade, and then everybody, everybody,
- 50:48Speaker 3: like businessmen on their way to work at eight am
- 50:51Speaker 3: in the morning of housewives can come and heckle and
- 50:54Speaker 3: throw rotten tomatoes at him.
- 50:56Speaker 1: Like that's what they that's what we need to see. Midievo.
- 51:00Speaker 3: Why have a king in a royal in the first place.
- 51:02Speaker 3: It's ridiculous. So if we're gonna do it, then let's
- 51:04Speaker 3: do it. Let's do it right the Tower of London.
- 51:06Speaker 3: You know, if you're there, you can do the you
- 51:08Speaker 3: can do the tourism liked for the Tower of London,
- 51:11Speaker 3: like put him in there, you know, lock him up
- 51:12Speaker 3: and let all the tourists parade pass. Some Chinese people
- 51:15Speaker 3: could take selfies, so you're.
- 51:17Speaker 2: Basically arguing that they get the benefit of the archaic
- 51:20Speaker 2: tradition without having to deal with the archaic you know punishments.
- 51:24Speaker 8: Yea, exactly.
- 51:26Speaker 1: It's if we're going to look at it, if.
- 51:28Speaker 3: We have the crown and the robes and the velvet
- 51:31Speaker 3: and the carriages and the palaces, and then we need
- 51:34Speaker 3: the other part, right, that was the interesting part for
- 51:37Speaker 3: the masses.
- 51:37Speaker 1: So look, I'm not British, you know, sometimes I wish
- 51:39Speaker 1: I was.
- 51:40Speaker 3: But if I was, if I was a brit this
- 51:43Speaker 3: is what I would be demanding.
- 51:45Speaker 1: I want pillary, I want reduced to rags.
- 51:47Speaker 3: But now, originally we were going to talk about the
- 51:49Speaker 3: Wexner story. Let's go ahead and start with that. See one.
- 51:53Speaker 3: This is unbelievable. So for those of you who don't
- 51:56Speaker 3: know Leslie Wexner, he was the victorious secret billionaire, was
- 52:00Speaker 3: the source in many ways of Jeffrey Epstein's wealth. In
- 52:03Speaker 3: nineteen ninety one, he signs over power of attorney. He
- 52:05Speaker 3: eventually sells him the townhouse for a sweetheart deal, transfers
- 52:09Speaker 3: significant amounts of his assets, doesn't break ties with him
- 52:11Speaker 3: until two thousand and seven. He was interviewed under oath
- 52:14Speaker 3: yesterday by members of the House Oversight Committee, and he
- 52:17Speaker 3: has now testified under oath that neither the FBI nor
- 52:21Speaker 3: the DOJ has ever sought to question him regarding Epstein.
- 52:26Speaker 1: Let that sink in.
- 52:27Speaker 3: This is despite victims publicly alleging his involvement an FBI
- 52:31Speaker 3: document that names him as a co conspirator.
- 52:34Speaker 1: He literally is the source.
- 52:36Speaker 3: Of this entire thing, not to mention his modeling stuff
- 52:40Speaker 3: with Victoria's secret the properties in Ohio, as Ryan and
- 52:44Speaker 3: dropside of revealed, the Iran Contra planes that landed at
- 52:48Speaker 3: the Leslie Wexner base, which are then brokeer. I mean,
- 52:51Speaker 3: this is unbelievable, and this is the bigger sign to
- 52:55Speaker 3: me of a cover up than anything, because you're getting
- 52:57Speaker 3: named as a.
- 52:58Speaker 1: Co conspirator in the document.
- 52:59Speaker 3: You're a literally a billionaire, the source of his entire wealth.
- 53:02Speaker 3: Numerous victims and others are alleging Wexner involvement or wex
- 53:06Speaker 3: you know. And again to be clear for his lawyers,
- 53:08Speaker 3: he denies literally all criminality. His statement, which we have
- 53:12Speaker 3: some of here on the screen put C two up here,
- 53:15Speaker 3: is that he was duped by Epstein. He says that
- 53:18Speaker 3: Epstein was a con man, that he conned him, and
- 53:21Speaker 3: that he stole vast sums of money from Wexner over
- 53:25Speaker 3: the years, and that you know, he's an unfortunate victim
- 53:28Speaker 3: in all of this. So I do want to be
- 53:29Speaker 3: clear that he literally denies all wrongdoing. He didn't know
- 53:32Speaker 3: anything about trafficking, never visited the island according to him,
- 53:35Speaker 3: and all this other stuff that he's put out on
- 53:37Speaker 3: the record from his statement. But it is just absolutely
- 53:41Speaker 3: insane that he's never been interviewed, considering what we know
- 53:45Speaker 3: in the files from the co conspirator original document to
- 53:49Speaker 3: all of the other allegations and the information between the two.
- 53:53Speaker 3: I mean, at the very least, interview him about how
- 53:55Speaker 3: Epstein allegedly stole from him. That's a crime, that's embezzlement. Embezzlement,
- 54:00Speaker 3: that's true, Or.
- 54:01Speaker 2: Never filed suit against Hide and never complained about that
- 54:04Speaker 2: publicly until now that you know, Miad did complain about it,
- 54:07Speaker 2: but until became uncomfortable for him. That's kind of interesting, no,
- 54:10Speaker 2: I mean, even just from the financial entanglement perspective, this
- 54:15Speaker 2: is the man you wouldn't want to talk to.
- 54:16Speaker 8: Of course, well, I mean he's the one thing.
- 54:18Speaker 2: He gave Jeffrey Epstein power of attorney over his whole
- 54:24Speaker 2: financial empire.
- 54:25Speaker 8: I mean, it's insane.
- 54:26Speaker 2: Drop Site had a great report where you know, the
- 54:28Speaker 2: philanthropic arm of what Wexner was up to, which, by
- 54:31Speaker 2: the way, they were some of the largest donors to
- 54:33Speaker 2: pro Zionist causes, and exactly right and you know there
- 54:40Speaker 2: they conducted a review. Oh how involved was Epstein and
- 54:43Speaker 2: oh really he wasn't involved at all? Well drop site,
- 54:46Speaker 2: you know reported out was not true at all. He
- 54:49Speaker 2: was directing the whole thing.
- 54:52Speaker 1: You know.
- 54:52Speaker 2: Anytime a question would come out, should we do this
- 54:54Speaker 2: or should we do that, they would reply, ask Jeffrey,
- 54:58Speaker 2: Check with Jeffrey.
- 54:59Speaker 8: He was running the show there.
- 55:01Speaker 2: And so at the very least you would want to know, okay,
- 55:04Speaker 2: like why were you persuaded to hand over power of
- 55:06Speaker 2: attorney to this man? How much money did he have
- 55:09Speaker 2: control over? Let's talk about the sale of the mansion,
- 55:11Speaker 2: what exactly went down there? What do you know about
- 55:14Speaker 2: any of this? And then when you add into that,
- 55:16Speaker 2: you know one of the first accuser, I think the
- 55:18Speaker 2: first accuser to come for Maria Farmer. Back in the nineties,
- 55:22Speaker 2: she alleges that she was sexually assaulted at New Albany, which.
- 55:26Speaker 8: Is Wexner's whole town that he built.
- 55:29Speaker 2: At Epstein's house in New Albany, which again she says,
- 55:33Speaker 2: the security there were all Wexner security. She had to
- 55:38Speaker 2: ask Wexner's wife whether or not she could leave. She
- 55:41Speaker 2: had to get permission to be able to leave. So
- 55:44Speaker 2: there is more than enough there, which just goes to
- 55:46Speaker 2: show you. I mean, there clearly was some investigation that
- 55:48Speaker 2: was done. We know Wexner was named as one of
- 55:51Speaker 2: the potential co conspirators who is being investigated. So the
- 55:55Speaker 2: fact that this all gets closed up and he never
- 55:58Speaker 2: gets charged with anything without even being interviewed is so
- 56:03Speaker 2: incredibly wild. That is a stunning That is a stunning revelation.
- 56:07Speaker 2: And you know, it just speaks to also the incompleteness
- 56:10Speaker 2: of the documents that we've been given access to. We
- 56:13Speaker 2: talked earlier in the week about how it looks like
- 56:15Speaker 2: it may just be about two percent of the existing
- 56:18Speaker 2: files that the government actually has in its possession that
- 56:22Speaker 2: have been revealed to the public. So you know, it
- 56:25Speaker 2: shines the spotlight on the vast trove of questions that
- 56:29Speaker 2: remain a vast amount of information that we still do
- 56:31Speaker 2: not have access to.
- 56:32Speaker 3: Yeah, I just think it's so unbelievable that this is
- 56:35Speaker 3: the I mean it is too Also, Wexner's eighty eight
- 56:38Speaker 3: years old. I mean, he can claim all sorts of
- 56:40Speaker 3: things now. At this point when it mattered, he was
- 56:43Speaker 3: completely you know, i mean, never never questioned. Is insane
- 56:48Speaker 3: and he's testifying.
- 56:49Speaker 1: This under oath. Maybe he's lying.
- 56:51Speaker 3: I guess possible. Somebody needs to prove it. Then they
- 56:54Speaker 3: should prosecute him for perjury. If that's the case.
- 56:56Speaker 8: I don't I don't think.
- 56:58Speaker 1: I think I believe him.
- 56:59Speaker 2: Yeah, because it be the sort of thing that the
- 57:00Speaker 2: government could very easily check him on, right, you know,
- 57:03Speaker 2: And so it would be it wouldn't be a smart
- 57:06Speaker 2: lie to pursue because it would be so easily debunked.
- 57:08Speaker 1: It's so crazy.
- 57:10Speaker 3: Let's continue when we're talking about foreign investigations, Let's put
- 57:13Speaker 3: C six up here.
- 57:14Speaker 1: This is very.
- 57:15Speaker 3: Interesting, and I've been talking about this more recently. This
- 57:17Speaker 3: is about Jean Luke Brunell, who again was one of
- 57:20Speaker 3: these modeling agency conduits for Jeffrey Epstein. The Wall Street
- 57:24Speaker 3: Journal reports that the accomplice who was going to testify
- 57:26Speaker 3: against Epstein then went dark. Jean Luke Brunell was actually
- 57:30Speaker 3: negotiating to provide prosecutors with evidence against Epstein in two
- 57:33Speaker 3: thousand and six, three years before he was arrested, but
- 57:36Speaker 3: ultimately backed out. Basically, he was considering working with Epstein
- 57:41Speaker 3: victims who were suing the Epstein estate while Epstein was
- 57:44Speaker 3: still alive at the time, Epstein was negotiating with Brunell
- 57:49Speaker 3: via Kathy Rumbler and a few other people, where allegedly
- 57:54Speaker 3: Brunell wanted like three million dollars to shut up, and
- 57:57Speaker 3: it seems that the investigation didn't go anywhere. Now, remember though,
- 58:00Speaker 3: what ends up happening is that Brunell goes to prison
- 58:03Speaker 3: in France and actually dies again, you know, allegedly by suicide.
- 58:08Speaker 8: So you can see hanging death cameras didn't work.
- 58:11Speaker 3: And just so you guys know, they're currently reopening the
- 58:15Speaker 3: investigation in France after the release of these Epstein files,
- 58:19Speaker 3: and you can see that.
- 58:21Speaker 1: Look, there's obviously a pattern. John mc Brunell.
- 58:24Speaker 3: I mean, he has been accused of some of the
- 58:26Speaker 3: most heinous stuff and I mean, you know, you need
- 58:28Speaker 3: a tough stomach if you want to go and read
- 58:30Speaker 3: some of the things that those two used to reminisce
- 58:33Speaker 3: and to talk about. But it's the same relationship that
- 58:35Speaker 3: we're talking about here, modeling agency, key conduit, potential cooperation
- 58:39Speaker 3: against Epstein, goes away, gets arrested, dies by suicide in
- 58:44Speaker 3: a cell.
- 58:44Speaker 2: Emily's been surfacing some of the emails from the young
- 58:48Speaker 2: women who were promised this life of oh, we're going
- 58:51Speaker 2: to help you with your modeling career, and the way
- 58:54Speaker 2: that they were completely member. Those are one of the
- 58:57Speaker 2: emails in particular, says it seems like the only piece
- 58:59Speaker 2: that you we're serious about was me being your mistress.
- 59:02Speaker 2: And so you know, and you've got a track or
- 59:04Speaker 2: sort of emails of Epstein effectively like grooming these girl,
- 59:08Speaker 2: coaching them on how what they should say around these
- 59:10Speaker 2: powerful men. They're being effectively pawned off to this man
- 59:15Speaker 2: or that man as you know, sort of currency in
- 59:18Speaker 2: Epstein's relationship with them. So the modeling pipeline is a
- 59:22Speaker 2: really important one. Now, the specific allegations against John luke bernow,
- 59:25Speaker 2: like you said, are just utterly heinous. I mean, one
- 59:27Speaker 2: allegation is that he provided Epstein with I think it
- 59:30Speaker 2: was thirteen year old twins, provided him with thirteen year
- 59:33Speaker 2: old twins as a birthday present. Clearly his modeling agency,
- 59:38Speaker 2: which you know was a it was a real modeling agency,
- 59:41Speaker 2: quote unquote, that this was really used as a core
- 59:44Speaker 2: part of trafficking girls and young women to Epstein as
- 59:48Speaker 2: part of you know, his web of abuse. So yeah,
- 59:52Speaker 2: I mean, I think the revelation that he was considering cooperating,
- 59:57Speaker 2: and then he walks away, and then he ends up
- 59:59Speaker 2: in prison, and then he ends up dead under very
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: strange circumstances. You know, there's a lot there. I recommend
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: people read the piece too, because some of the exchanges
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: here are very very enlightening about the way that Epstein
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: operated to and the type of like threats and manipulation
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: that he engaged in as well. You know the other piece.
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: Let's put C four up on the screen.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: So the.
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: UN's UN experts are saying that the allegations in the
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: Epstein files could amount to crimes against humanity. And I
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: just want you to contrast this reaction, and this is
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: from independent experts, a pointed by the UN Human Rights Council.
- 1:00:37Speaker 8: Can trust this reaction.
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: With what we've been fed here in the US, which
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: is that this is completely exonerating. To Trump, that's what
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: he says, that it's you know that there's nothing to see,
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: there's nothing prosecutable, that there's no further even investigation that
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: is worth pursuing. And then when you have you know,
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: new investigations open in France, you have former Prince Andrew
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: arrested in the UK, a total political crisis in the UK.
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: There are other foreign officials who have lost their jobs.
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: Corporate America. Actually, there has been some fallout from you know,
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: Kathy Rummler lost her job. There's been some fallout there
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: in corporate America.
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: Any firm here, Yeah, that's right, it's crazy, like these
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: are very rich.
- 1:01:17Speaker 8: Had to step away.
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: And you know, I mean, look, let's not chet us
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: here for they're all keeping their money. They're all going
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: to be fine. But at least there was some level
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: of social consequence. The political class here escapes utterly unscathed.
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: And so, you know, to go back to this UN report,
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: they said crimes outline and documents released by the USDOJ
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: were committed against a backdrop of supremacist beliefs, racism, corruption,
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: and extreme misogyny. They said the crimes showed a commodification
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: and dehumanization of women and girls.
- 1:01:44Speaker 8: I mean, that's just undeniably true.
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: So grave is the scale, nature, systematic character, and transnational
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: reach of these atrocities against women and girls. Number of
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: them may reasonably meet the legal threshold of crimes against humanity,
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: the experts said in a statement. So you know, this
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: is how they are evaluating what is seen there. So
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: when you're looking at this and you're horrified and disgusted
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: and appalled and outrage that there has been effectively no accountability.
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: I mean, the one person who's in prison for this
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: right now is Galaine Maxwell, and she's getting the cushiest
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: treatment you could possibly imagine and has the possibility even
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: of getting a pardon from this president. You know, when
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: you're appalled by that, just know that you're not insane.
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: Other you know, independent experts are looking at this are like, yes,
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: this is utterly appalling, like degrading, horrifying and massive, you know,
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: massive in terms of scope and reach. This behavior is
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: so appalling that we think it could reach the scale
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: of crimes against humanity. So just you know, an astonishing
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: result there. And so it's I get. I mean, I'm
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: glad to see that some of the accountabiit that's happening
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: in other countries.
- 1:02:49Speaker 8: But it does just make you realize how utterly.
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: Without accountability and what utter impunity the political class here,
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: the Epstein class here in the United States, and and
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: even you know, the corporate America reckoning. It's not like
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: any of them are having charged boot against them. It's
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: not like any of them are taking anything other than
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: like a temporary reputational hit ultimately.
- 1:03:09Speaker 3: Exactly, so look, everybody stick with it. These are just
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: the latest and unfortunately, uh it does seem that other
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: countries are going to do much more than our country
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: to actually look into and hold accountable anyone in public
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: life who had anything to do with this. So anyways,
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: that's it's a tragic story, I guess, but maybe a
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: hopeful one. Maybe we can get to that. Maybe if
- 1:03:33Speaker 3: somebody runs on holding these people accountable, then they'll have
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: to do it if they do come into office, but
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: somebody already did though, and now this happened, so yeah,
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: kind of a black feeling.
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: We need a little bit more credibility this time and
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: then you know whoever's going to take that direction. Yeah,
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: I've made them to not be themselves a direct member
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: of them.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: I've really wondered about that.
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: I'm like, how do you you know? I've seen how
- 1:03:56Speaker 3: many presidents have promised I'm not talking about EPCCE, but
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: generally on certain things come into office, turn on a dime,
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: and we just fall for it every single time. Why
- 1:04:07Speaker 3: do we always fall for and believe, maybe because we
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: want to that it'll be different. It's it's always the
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: same man, And I'm like, can we do something different? Like,
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: I don't know, maybe you need a total shake up
- 1:04:17Speaker 3: in the whole system.
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: But again, what people, that is what people we thought
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: we were trying that, right, I mean, I don't even that,
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: but a lot of people did.
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: Okay, you're talking about let's talk about Obama. How many
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: people thought that?
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: I thought it?
- 1:04:29Speaker 3: Didn't you A lot of people did two thousand and
- 1:04:31Speaker 3: eight hope change Iraq? Like we thought a whole new
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: thing was coming to a lot of people thought about
- 1:04:35Speaker 3: Clinton too, new guy, baby boomer, I never seen that before.
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: Yeah, well, let me just say I think the most
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: important thing to look for is you have to look
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: at who the funders are. You have to scratch one
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: layer deeper than the rhetoric can say. Okay, well who
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: but who is actually like who is actually jacking this candidacy?
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: Because if you are, you know, like go with Obama.
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: The red flag was all the Wall Street guys loved him.
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: They funded his campaign to the hill, you know, and
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: he so that's that's who, ultimately, you know, was really
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: running the show in terms of his administration.
