- 0:00Speaker 1: What three things we need to know.
- 0:01Speaker 2: I literally thought the parasite that causes explosive diarrhea was
- 0:06Speaker 2: a joke because when I first saw it, it was
- 0:07Speaker 2: on Instagram and it was a meme about how it
- 0:09Speaker 2: was Taco Bell's fault, and so I was like, oh,
- 0:12Speaker 2: that's very funny. And then turns out Taco Bell literally
- 0:15Speaker 2: is under investigation because I think it's linked to the outbreak.
- 0:19Speaker 2: And now, for the first time since the salad parasite
- 0:22Speaker 2: story has broke, Taco Bell has spoken. So they said
- 0:27Speaker 2: health officials have not confirmed a connection to the chain,
- 0:30Speaker 2: any supplier, or any specific Taco Bell ingredient. Even so
- 0:35Speaker 2: they are voluntarily removing some of the fresh ingredients from
- 0:38Speaker 2: select restaurants while investigators work to find a sort because
- 0:41Speaker 2: the parasite is linked to contaminated fresh produce.
- 0:44Speaker 3: So yesterday, my wife makes dinner for our whole family, right,
- 0:47Speaker 3: and she makes salmon burgers, and she makes a salad
- 0:50Speaker 3: with dates since she cuts up the salad and she
- 0:52Speaker 3: has potatoes, and I'm seeing everything about this cytoplasm whatever
- 0:56Speaker 3: it's called, what's called cyclospora. Yeah, And so I getting
- 1:00Speaker 3: our food and I just get a salmon burger and
- 1:01Speaker 3: put in my plate and my son Kemp, what's what's
- 1:04Speaker 3: just a sam burger?
- 1:05Speaker 1: I go, oh, you guys don't know.
- 1:08Speaker 3: If you're going to have the salad, you got to
- 1:10Speaker 3: heat it up to one hundred and fifty degrees because
- 1:12Speaker 3: there's this virus's giving you chronic diarrhea. Everybody put their
- 1:16Speaker 3: salad back, put the potatoes back.
- 1:21Speaker 1: The salad. My man, we're not eating that. Good luck,
- 1:24Speaker 1: because there's ten cases here of this.
- 1:26Speaker 4: Oh I thought I saw the ones that were linked
- 1:28Speaker 4: to here were due to like bodies of water in.
- 1:31Speaker 1: The splash pots. You still have it?
- 1:34Speaker 4: Well, yeah, but like I didn't. I don't get it's
- 1:37Speaker 4: because it's like, right, is it like coming from the
- 1:39Speaker 4: pools or is it coming from lettuce? What?
- 1:41Speaker 2: I think the cyclist spores specifically, from what I've read
- 1:44Speaker 2: about it has been it's linked to fresh produce, but
- 1:47Speaker 2: there is probably also another pairasite in the water.
- 1:52Speaker 1: Anywhere. That's another reason Kyle doesn't shower.
- 1:55Speaker 2: You guys, I'm just trying to be safe. Don't eat salad,
- 1:57Speaker 2: don't shower, and you will be fine. Right. So, thousands
- 2:04Speaker 2: of people are now suing the makers of ozempic and
- 2:07Speaker 2: other GLP one weight loss drugs, claiming they suffered serious
- 2:10Speaker 2: side effects, including stomach paralysis and vision problems, like literally
- 2:14Speaker 2: some people went blind overnight. And the cases are being
- 2:17Speaker 2: grouped together in a federal court, making this one of
- 2:18Speaker 2: the largest pharmaceutical legal.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Battles happening right now.
- 2:21Speaker 2: With so many people taking these medications or knowing someone
- 2:24Speaker 2: who is, it's definitely wanted to keep an eye on.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Well, we'll see how big farm it gets up. So
- 2:28Speaker 1: the GLP two's are still safe? Sure, right, Well, you
- 2:32Speaker 1: knew it was too good to be true. Something was
- 2:34Speaker 1: going to happen, it seems.
- 2:37Speaker 2: So. Yesterday I told you guys about lawmakers that are
- 2:39Speaker 2: getting ready to vote on possibly ending the twice a
- 2:42Speaker 2: year clock change known as daylight Savings Time.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Well, they voted and the.
- 2:47Speaker 2: House approved the bill that would make daylight savings time permanent.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Still has one big hurdle.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Because it still has to go to the Senate.
- 2:53Speaker 1: They got to.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Pass it before anything actually changes. So if you're getting
- 2:56Speaker 2: really excited about this possibly happening, there's actually legally one
- 3:00Speaker 2: step closer to getting those clocks staying the same.
- 3:03Speaker 3: That means the government country, the government actually does control time. Also,
- 3:08Speaker 3: we're also going to make it three o'clock.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Right now, I know it's very weird. It's a very
- 3:13Speaker 1: weird concept. But that is three things you need to know.
