- 0:00[SPEAKER_01]: It's fuck ya Friday.
- 0:01[SPEAKER_01]: Fuck you!
- 0:02[SPEAKER_01]: Get ready for some wins!
- 0:24[SPEAKER_02]: My friends, action brings clarity, and it's the antidote to fear.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_02]: Each week my guests will bring bold, executable, intrinsic, and targeted steps that you can use to put yourself first and be it till you see it.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_02]: It's a practice, not a perfect, let's get started.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome back to the B.T.I.C.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_01]: at Podcasts.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_01]: This is our fucking Friday.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_01]: This is where we share some wins.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_01]: We get some mantras.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_01]: We get to just like, you know, being each other's lives a little bit.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_01]: I want to know what's going on with you.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_01]: Send it to me, right?
- 0:59[SPEAKER_01]: Send me in your wins.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_01]: Send me what you're working on.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_01]: Send us the topics that you're wanting us to do so episodes on.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_01]: I get some interviews on.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_01]: Also, I just want to say thank you to those of you who have bought flashcards or joined OPC recently because
- 1:13[SPEAKER_01]: your support of OPC is what powers this podcast.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_01]: So if you have not checked out what we have at OPC, we've got some really great work and great stuff for you.
- 1:21[SPEAKER_01]: And so if you're a pie curious, applies careers, we've got stuff for you and have to be applies expert to join OPC as for people who want access and accountability to their pies practice.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_01]: And so big thank you, big shout out to all of you.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, maybe I should welcome OPC members, who join, who are being policies on how I'll do that, but maybe you should do that.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe we should do a little shout out so you can hear your name.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_01]: It's fun to hear your name.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_01]: It's fun to hear your name on a podcast, especially this one, because it's top one percent podcast, right?
- 1:45[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so my, I need a moment is that I'm currently sitting on my phone because it won't stop dinging, even though it's on doing not disturb.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_01]: And my frustration in my rant is okay.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_01]: What?
- 1:58[SPEAKER_01]: What is doing not disturb for if I get disturbed on it?
- 2:01[SPEAKER_01]: And it's like, oh, well, if you're favorite, so your favorites can get through because of course on my husband to get through, but then it dings on him texting me, it's like, well, does why why are you doing this I don't
- 2:12[SPEAKER_01]: I'm on, you're not in a serve for a reason.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_01]: So how do I get to totally turn off?
- 2:15[SPEAKER_01]: But then you can't have a turn off because what if someone has a emergency?
- 2:18[SPEAKER_01]: So then Brad did something to his phone.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_01]: So nothing gets through, which means literally those one day when our websites went down his sister and I are trying to call him.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm doing the double call.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_01]: And all the stuff we got to the point we almost sent my father to the house to wake him up because we're like, you need to talk to you and we couldn't get through.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_01]: So,
- 2:34[SPEAKER_01]: I'm annoyed that do not disturb work so badly that my husband has turned his phone to a place where we can't even call through and it doesn't work at all for me and that my phone is beeping and I have to sit on at why do this podcast because in those last episodes you probably heard it dinging and I apologize for that.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_01]: That's annoying.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_01]: But why?
- 2:53[SPEAKER_01]: The thing about technology that pisses me off is like, don't tell me it's great and it's making my life easier when it's making my life shitty, you know what I mean?
- 2:59[SPEAKER_01]: But then if we don't have it, then it's like, well, that's gonna suck, right?
- 3:04[SPEAKER_01]: That will totally suck.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_01]: So anyway, all right, now a win because if you get to complain, you have to have a win and we're not, we talked about this last week, the win does not have to be in the same complaint.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_01]: Does not be from that because I, I don't want to talk, I don't want to be like, oh, so I'm so die, but the win in it is less, that's terrible shit.
- 3:22[SPEAKER_01]: That's not it at all.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_01]: My win is,
- 3:26[SPEAKER_01]: Brad and I adulthood, we talked with our wealth managers and things are looking good and that's, you know, that's nice because it doesn't feel like the world is doing well and I am an elder millennial and I want to be an elder millennial who gets to retire like I am I want to retire.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_01]: Not today, but like I want to be someone who gets to retire like that feels like a great like we don't we've had guests on this podcast who talk about like, you know, having your retirement persona let me tell you what it is it is owner of a compound with my golden girl lifestyle and all of my links to all income no children.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_01]: couples each having their own motel room.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_01]: And then we have like this massive Pilates Studio slash gym, massive like restaurant style kitchen that we all get to cook in.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_01]: So no one has to cook in their place and no one has to have like all these different like they just have their motel room is like their their place of living their personal space.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_01]: But then we have all these communal spaces we can take care of each other because who else is going to take care of us.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_01]: So my win
- 4:26[SPEAKER_01]: is that, you know, we're least investing in a way that I was going to allow us to retire someday.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_01]: More money would be better, but we're doing pretty good considering what's going on the world today.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_01]: So that's a nice win.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_01]: So now, you pull my phone out, so I can read one of yours.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_01]: This is El Marie Insta.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_01]: I did all 10 spring training classes and joined OPC.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_01]: That's insane.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_01]: El Marie Insta, wait a go.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_01]: 10 classes.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_01]: Huge.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_01]: I watched the ones that I wasn't in because I had to do the thing.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_01]: And if you did, those were hard.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_01]: Wait a go.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_01]: We did all 10 proud of you.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_01]: See you guys.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_01]: That's a win right when you're like I committed to something and I'm going to do what I can and then you celebrate that you did it like we've got a normal eyes Celebrating that you did the thing you want to do
- 5:14[SPEAKER_01]: doesn't mean that you like did the students shouldn't make a massive project like I'm in the spring training and I'm celebrating that I did the spring training.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_01]: That's the thing, right?
- 5:20[SPEAKER_01]: Some of you are holding yourself hostage on celebrations that you're like, I don't get to celebrate that I signed up for this language class until I can speak fluently.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_01]: No, you've decided you've to celebrate you signed up for it.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_01]: You've celebrate that you went to it.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_01]: You celebrate that you quiz yourself on it.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_01]: You celebrate that you study a little extra.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_01]: You've to celebrate these things.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_01]: That's what makes them have it.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_01]: That's why we do this.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's why we celebrate.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_01]: So you get a little dopamine high.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_01]: And then it makes it easier to do more things for yourself.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_01]: People are always seeking out confidence support.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_01]: You want confidence support comes from from doing the thing that you said you would do.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_01]: And that's why you gotta make it small.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_01]: You gotta make it bite size.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_01]: You gotta make it things that you can do.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_01]: So your mantra.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_01]: I am a reflection of love and kindness.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_01]: I am a reflection of love and kindness.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_01]: Reflection of love and kindness, yes you are.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_01]: All right, Pete, babe.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_02]: Thanks so much for listening.
