Mega Edition: The Epstein OIG Reports Were Meant To Set The Record Straight. They Failed (7/8/26) · The Epstein Chronicles

Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. Finally,
0:06
after three years, the Inspector General has released their report
0:11
on what happened to Jeffrey Epstein in the lockup, where
0:15
the official narrative says that he died from a suicide.
0:19
And now, three years and some change after Jeffrey Epstein's death,
0:23
we finally have access to this one hundred and twenty
0:26
eight page report by the Inspector General. Now, I think
0:31
we're going to go through this and we're going to
0:33
talk about it, maybe chapter by chapter, because I think
0:36
it's very important to get it documented and add it
0:39
to the catalog at least some of it, right, And
0:42
I can't wait to dig in and see what sort
0:45
of excuses were made for the Justice Department and the
0:49
shitty way that the whole entire Bureau of Prisons has
0:54
been managed. But before we dive into the meat and
0:56
the potatoes of what the actual report has to say,
1:00
we have an article from CNN talking about the release
1:04
of this report and how the Justice Department overall failed
1:08
miserably when it comes to Jeffrey Epstein headline, DOJ issues
1:15
scathing rebuke of Bureau of Prisons detailing multiple failures that
1:19
led to Jeffrey Epstein's suicide. Well, we can all pack
1:22
it in, folks. The Inspector General has told us what
1:26
happened here, and we have to listen to everything the
1:28
Inspector General has to say, right, because they don't have
1:31
any skin in the game for making sure that the
1:33
government saves face. This article was authored by Holmes Lebrand,
1:39
and like I said, this article was published by CNN.
1:43
The Justice Department's Office of the Inspector General on Tuesday
1:47
issued a scathing rebuke of the Bureau of Prisons, detailing
1:51
the multiple failures that led to the death of high
1:54
profile financier you mean pedophile, right, Jeffrey Epstein following his
1:59
arrest in two Thoy nineteen, but found no evidence to
2:03
contradict the absence of criminality in his death. Of course,
2:07
it took three years for you to tell us that
2:09
everything was above board and it was just a systemic failure.
2:13
Can we see some video evidence of that? Can you
2:16
explain away why there was no chain of custody when
2:19
it comes to the video surveillance footage? Of course they
2:23
can't and they won't. According to the report, the failures
2:27
that allowed epstein time to die by suicide in his
2:31
cell included multiple prison employees failing to conduct rounds and
2:35
sell searches to check on Epstein, his access to extra
2:39
bed linens which he used to hang himself, and failure
2:43
to assign Epstein a fellow inmate after he was placed
2:47
on suicide watch. And I've said from the very beginning,
2:50
I'm more than willing to believe that Epstein killed himself,
2:53
but I think he was nudged in that direction. And
2:56
I think that all started with putting him in that
2:58
cell with Tartaglioni. Tartaglioni was in there to send a
3:02
message and guess what the message was received. So how
3:06
did Epstein get access to all of these linens, have
3:09
access to all of this stuff that these convicts shouldn't
3:12
have access to all of that is still not explained.
3:16
Epstein was arrested in July twenty nineteen on federal charges
3:20
of sex trafficking miners. Then in August, only thirty five
3:24
days after his arrest, Epstein died by suicide by hanging
3:28
in his jail cell at New York City's Metropolitan Correctional Center,
3:33
where he was being held. According to New York City's
3:36
medical examiner. And not to beat a dead horse here,
3:40
but we know what doctor Michael Boden had to say
3:42
about that autopsy. He witnessed it, he was involved in it,
3:46
and he says that, according to his expertise, that Jeffrey
3:51
Epstein's hyoid bone being broken the way it was leads
3:55
him to believe that Jeffrey Epstein was strangled, and that
3:58
Jeffrey Epstein did not call himself. So what you have
4:01
are two experts with competing opinions, and it comes down
4:06
to at that point who you believe. And for me,
4:09
the likeliest scenario has always been that Tartaglioni sent that message,
4:14
and then Epstein, knowing that he had run out of road,
4:17
that all of his friends had abandoned him, and that
4:20
he had been burned by his intelligence contacts, he understood
4:23
that the writing was now on the wall. So it's
4:26
very possible that he did kill himself, but I think
4:30
that he was pushed to do that. If he did
4:32
kill himself by the messaging sent by Tartaglioni when he
4:37
was putting that jail cell with Jeffrey Epstein in the
4:39
first place, nobody can explain and nobody has explained how
4:43
a man who is accused of four homicides is even
4:46
put into a jail cell with Jeffrey Epstein in the
4:49
first place, the politically and socially well connected financier. They
4:54
don't even call him a pedophile in this article. Imagine
4:57
pedophile's death immediately spern can cospiracy theories and significant questioning
5:02
and intrigue over the circumstances. Well, yeah, what do you expect.
5:07
A guy like Jeffrey Epstein just happens to die while
5:10
he's in the custody of the United States government, after
5:13
he has all of this information about people in that government.
5:18
How come it wasn't El Chappo who died while he
5:20
was in this jail, or any of the other famous
5:23
people who have been here. It just happens to be Epstein, hau.
5:26
Along with the coincidence of the surveillance cameras not recording
5:31
the first alleged attempt and all of the other stuff
5:33
we've talked about, So all of that is just a coincidence, huh.
5:37
And it just happens that Epstein, of all of the
5:40
people that are held in this lock up, ends up
5:42
killing himself and Of course, the baked in reasoning why
5:47
is that there are systemic problems within the Bureau of Prisons,
5:51
So they had a built in excuse right away. Oh,
5:55
the Bureau of Prisons is in shambles. These people can't
5:58
do their jobs, they can't make sure that these prisoners
6:01
are protected. Meanwhile, nobody goes to jail as far as
6:05
the guards go. What about their bosses? What about the sergeant?
6:08
Where was the lieutenant? Where was his boss? So they
6:11
talk about all of this systemic failure, and there's no
6:14
changes made. Nobody goes to jail as far as the
6:17
people who were involved here, and certainly none of the
6:20
bureaucrats who are calling the shots are ever going to
6:24
face any kind of repercussions. The report indicated the Bureau
6:28
of Prison's failings were troubling not only because they did
6:31
not safeguard Epstein, but also because they led to numerous
6:35
questions about the circumstances surrounding Epstein's death and denied Epstein's
6:41
survivors justice. Yeah, it sure did that, and it also
6:45
conveniently protected all of Jeffrey Epstein's buddies like Bill Clinton.
6:50
Two guards on duty that night of Epstein's death later
6:53
admitted to falsifying records at the time. According to the
6:57
initial indictment against the two guards, on the night of
7:00
Epstein's suicide, both individuals Repedialy failed to complete the required
7:05
prisoner's check during their watch and it led directly to
7:09
somebody dying, and both of these guards had their charges dropped.
7:15
I mean, really, so nobody, when all is said and done,
7:18
paid the price for these systemic failures. So what the
7:21
hell was the point of a three year investigation into
7:25
this that is really uncovering nothing and certainly not holding
7:29
anybody to account. It took you buffoons three years to
7:32
come up with this. The guards had entered a deferred
7:36
prosecution with the Justice Department, agreeing to complete one hundred
7:39
hours of community service and cooperate with the DOJ's Inspector
7:44
General's review. Well isn't that nice somebody dies on your
7:48
watch and you get some kind of community service. The
7:51
scrutiny around Epstein's suicide and MCC's failures only intensified after
7:57
reports revealed Epstein was put on suicide while after he
8:01
was found in his cell with bruises on his neck,
8:04
only to be taken off watch a day later, not
8:07
one mention of Tartaglioni in this whole entire article, not
8:11
one single mention of the fact that Tartaglioni was in
8:15
that jail cell with Jeffrey Epstein. And all of these
8:18
outlets do the same thing. They conveniently omit the fact
8:22
that Epstein was in that jail cell with Tartaglioni. And
8:26
why do they do that? Why wouldn't they focus more
8:29
on that and ask more questions as to why a
8:32
four time loser like Tartaglioni would be in the jail
8:35
cell with somebody who is as protected and as guarded
8:40
as an inmate as Jeffrey Epstein, unless, of course, he
8:43
was placed there on purpose to send a message. And
8:46
that's what I believe, That's what I've said for quite
8:48
some time now, and that's exactly where I stand. I
8:52
think that Tartaglioni was putting that jail cell to send
8:55
a message to Epstein, and that message was either you
8:59
do it or or we do it. And I think
9:01
it's interesting that all of these articles really that deal
9:05
with what happened in that jail very rarely, if ever,
9:09
talk about Tartaglioni. And if you're not even bringing that up,
9:12
if you're not even talking about that crucial part of
9:15
the story, it leads me to believe that you really
9:18
don't have an idea about what happened here, and you're
9:21
just following along and being spoon fed whatever the Inspector
9:25
General wants you to hear. That's not gonna work for me.
9:29
That's not good enough, and I know it's not good
9:31
enough for most of you out there either. We want real,
9:35
robust answers, and we want to know what happened here,
9:38
and if it was a systemic failure, like they're saying
9:41
in this report, how come nobody was fired, how come
9:44
nobody was prosecuted? And if there were no consequences for
9:47
people doing this, what's going to stop people in the
9:50
future from doing some shit like this again. Well, i'll
9:53
tell you what. Nothing. We're gonna get another report sometime
9:57
in the future after another event like this occurs, and
10:00
it'll be another repeat performance of what the Inspector General
10:04
tells us in this report. Meanwhile, no steps are being
10:07
taken by the federal government or the Bureau of Prisons
10:11
to fix anything, even with their gigantic bloated budget, So
10:16
how are you going to tell us there's a bunch
10:18
of systemic errors, but yet not move off of your
10:21
fat asses to fix anything. If these systemic errors were
10:24
as bad as you're saying here, mister Inspector General, shouldn't
10:28
they be fixed right away? Shouldn't it be something that
10:31
is a priority, because if the issues are that glaring,
10:34
they need to be dealt with right away. But we
10:37
haven't seen that, have we Have we seen an overhaul
10:40
of the Bureau of Prisons or the DOJ, of course not.
10:44
So what exactly is it that the Inspector General got
10:47
accomplished with this report besides crafting a narrative, And that
10:52
narrative once again is Look, this was all just systemic
10:56
and Jeffrey Epstein happened to slip through the cracks. We're
10:59
really sorry about it, but we're not gonna hold anybody accountable.
11:03
Oh and by the way, it took us three years
11:06
to tell you that, so obviously I have some reading
11:09
ahead of me, considering this is a one hundred and
11:11
twenty eight page report. So I'm gonna cut it short
11:14
here and I'm gonna dive into that report and see
11:18
exactly what the Inspector General came up with, all right,
11:23
everybody that's gonna do it for this one. All of
11:25
the information that goes with the episode can be found
11:28
in the description box. We were talking about the Department
11:31
of Justice and their piss poor job on their so
11:34
called internal review. Well, today we're going to add some
11:38
more context to that, and we're going to jump into
11:40
the article from the Miami Herald, which is a lot
11:43
longer than the Daily Mail article that we read yesterday
11:47
and provides more context as to who the players were,
11:51
who was being looked at, and what the situation overall was. So,
11:58
like you all know, I and big on context here.
12:01
So we're going to use this Miami Herald article and
12:05
we're going to see what else is going on here
12:10
with this Department of Justice and their piss poor decision
12:16
to say it was just bad judgment on Acosta's part. Now,
12:22
I expected this so called internal investigation to turn up
12:28
exactly what it turned up, squat nothing zero. Did we
12:33
really think that the Justice Department was going to put
12:35
themselves on blast for the job that they did or
12:38
the job that they didn't do, I should say, of
12:41
course not. It's all about saving face, it's all about
12:45
cover your ass. It's no different than the royals over
12:48
in England. These people think that they are the ruling class.
12:52
They think that they're the aristocracy and they rule and
12:56
lord over us. But that is not the case. And
13:01
the scuzz at the Department of Justice, led by Darth Barr.
13:06
I cannot wait for all of them to be gone,
13:09
but then it'll just be a new wave of meet
13:12
the new boss, same as the old boss, and the
13:16
wheel just keeps on spinning. It seems like the only
13:22
person who was really fired up about this was Senator
13:25
Ben Sass from Nebraska, and he went pretty hard in
13:30
the paint. He had some pretty strong words, and I
13:33
agree with all of that. But at what point do
13:35
words turn into action? At what point do these senators
13:39
start to hold people responsible? So far, I guess we
13:44
haven't reached that point, because nobody has been held responsible,
13:48
nobody has lost their jobs, nobody has even had to
13:51
face the music when it comes to their shitty job
13:54
that they did. And this report just goes to smooth
13:58
things over. That's what the report is. Let's smooth things over.
14:03
The Justice Department had nothing to do with this, are
14:05
you kidding? This was just a poor bit of judgment
14:08
on one man's part. Well, that's not going to fly
14:12
with me. That's not going to cut it. And there
14:16
is a much deeper problem here than just Acosta, and
14:19
it goes all the way to the top. All right,
14:24
So this article is from the Miami Herald and the
14:27
authors are Kevin G. Hall, Jay Weaver, and Ben Wheder.
14:35
Former US Attorney Alexander Acosta used poor judgment when he
14:39
chose not to prosecute Palm Beach millionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein
14:43
on federal sex trafficking charges and instead let him plead
14:47
guilty to a state offense of soliciting young girls for sex.
14:51
The Justice Department said Thursday, you know, the only people
14:56
that are using poor judgment around here is the Department
14:59
of Justice. The Department of Justice. It's not only using
15:03
poor decision making and poor judgment. It is absolutely absurd
15:08
what is occurring within the Department of Justice right now.
15:14
It is an absolute dumpster fire of a clown show.
15:18
And Darth Barr should be embarrassed of himself. You know,
15:21
I'm always talking about vote out the incumbent, Vote out
15:23
the incumbent. While that goes for these lifelong bureaucrats that
15:28
infest Washington, DC as well, people like Bill Barr. It's
15:32
time to go, buddy, your services are no longer needed.
15:38
The Department's Office of Professional Responsibility concluded that Acosta, who
15:43
served as Labor Secretary in the Trump administration until the
15:47
scandal over his mishandling of the Epstein case forced him
15:50
to resign in July twenty nineteen, committed no professional wrongdoing
15:55
and violated no ethics standards. The non prosecution agreement was
15:59
signed over ten years earlier when Acosta was US Attorney
16:03
for South Florida. No professional wrongdoing, huh, and not even
16:07
an ethics violation. So basically, the double birds to the
16:11
survivors and to society as a whole. F you, we
16:17
don't protect girls, we don't protect women, we don't protect
16:20
anyone who's trafficked. And you guys can all go pound
16:23
sand We're the Department of Justice, and we have spoken.
16:26
That's how they conduct themselves. And it's no different than
16:30
when Barr came stumbling in like a drunkard talking about
16:33
I saw the video with Epstein. You guys don't have
16:35
anything to worry about. Yeah, okay, sure, buddy, what have
16:38
you done ever for me to trust you, I'm old
16:41
enough to remember when I was gas lit by the
16:43
Bush administration and Bill Barr big part of all of
16:48
that as well. Acosta's decision to decline to initiate a
16:54
federal prosecution of Epstein was within the scope of his authority,
16:59
and OPR did not find evidence that his decision was
17:02
based on corruption or other impermissible considerations, such as Epstein's wealth,
17:08
status or associations. A thirteen page executive summary of opr's
17:14
report says, it's just complete and uttered, garbage and trash.
17:19
How can anyone look at this and say that everything
17:22
that happened was above board, that everything that happened was legit. Now,
17:27
the Department of Justice is a waste of time. We
17:29
know that they're a waste of space and a waste
17:31
of air. But like I said last night, the Eleventh
17:36
Circuit Court of Appeals is really where the power is here.
17:40
And when the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals here's this
17:43
case and sees all of the nonsense that went into it,
17:48
I have a really funny feeling, folks, that we're going
17:52
to be very pleased with the decision that comes out
17:55
of the Eleventh Circuit Court, and I think, like I
17:58
said last night, that there's a better than good chance
18:02
that they overturned that non prosecution agreement. And then the
18:06
wheels come right off of this Department of Justice report.
18:09
It shows that it's toothless, and it shows that the
18:12
people who were involved in this internal report really didn't
18:17
do shit. They didn't care. It was all a cover
18:20
your ass operation. And I hope, beyond hope that after
18:24
the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals renders its judgment, that
18:28
we can come back and laugh at these idiots at
18:30
the Department of Justice once again for their stupidity. After
18:36
the executive summary was released, Acosta, who had long refused
18:40
to answer the Miami Herald's questions about his actions, issued
18:43
a two page statement saying it fully debunks allegations that
18:47
the United States Attorney's Office in South Florida improperly cut
18:51
Epstein a sweetheart deal or purposefully avoided investigating potential wrongdoing
18:57
by various prominent individuals. No, okay, we don't believe it. Again,
19:03
the internal investigations mean squat, How many times are they
19:09
going to have internal investigations? And it comes back as
19:11
a slap on the wrist, and it's for both sides
19:13
of the aisle. The same thing happened with Hillary Clinton.
19:16
What did anyone really think that Hillary Clinton was going
19:18
to be held accountable for anything that she done? Of
19:21
course not. These people are never held accountable. And the
19:24
Attorney General, the Department of Justice, and all of their
19:29
good old buddies that their rubbin elbows and shoulders with
19:32
on a regular basis are all part of the problem.
19:39
The Republican senator who requested the review after a Miami
19:43
Herald investigative series saw it differently. And look, it's nice
19:49
to see at least one of these clown ass senators
19:52
saying something, bringing this to the forefront. But how about
19:55
some investigations as far as committees calling people to testify
20:01
under oath in front of Congress or in front of
20:04
the Senate. How come there has been none of that.
20:10
Letting a well connected billionaire get away with child rape
20:13
and international sex trafficking isn't poor judgment. It is a
20:17
disgusting failure. Americans ought to be enraged. Nebraska Senator Ben Sass,
20:23
chairman of the Senate Judiciary Oversight Committee, said in a
20:27
statement Thursday afternoon. Jeffrey Epstein should be rotting behind bars today,
20:32
but the Justice Department failed Epstein's survivors at every turn. Now,
20:39
Ben sass is one of the only people who's really
20:42
been forceful and forthright when it comes to calling these
20:46
assholes out and the shit job that the Department of
20:50
Justice did onto the floor. And while I support his
20:58
enthusiasm here, I'd like to see the words turn into
21:00
action and however that has to happen, let's get it going.
21:04
Who do we have to write to, Ben SaaS, Let
21:05
us know who do we have to put the pressure
21:07
on to make sure that there are some hearings. Let
21:09
us know we're ready and willing. Now you all know
21:12
I don't do any nonsensical petition nonsense. That's just not
21:16
for me. I don't sign petitions. I don't get involved
21:18
in that nonsense. But if all of us call whoever
21:22
it is who's in charge of getting one of these
21:24
commissions going, well maybe there'll be some movement. Because we
21:28
all know that the government and the Department of Justice, etc. Etc.
21:32
They don't start doing shit until the public outcry becomes
21:35
so loud that they can ignore it anymore. The DOJ's
21:41
crooked deal with Epstein effectively shut down investigations into his
21:45
child sex trafficking ring and protected his co conspirators and
21:49
other states Justice has not been served. Sas said, the
21:54
full report needs to be released to the public. OPR
21:57
might have finished its report, but we have an obbly
22:00
gation to make sure this never happens again, and he's right,
22:04
one hundred percent release that shit. We want the full report,
22:07
no redactions, none of your bullshit, none of your fake,
22:11
schucky ducky moves. We want the full report, and I
22:15
want all of the people involved to testify in front
22:19
of Congress under oath. Sas, who had pressed the Justice
22:25
Department for more than three years to investigate the handling
22:28
of Epstein's charges, demanded that the agency release the report.
22:33
Although the Department didn't do so, the Miami Herald and
22:36
its parent company, McClatchy obtained a copy on their own,
22:41
so that report is included in the article. Obviously, when
22:46
you click on the link, you'll be able to go
22:48
read this article and follow the hyperlinks to the actual
22:52
documents so you can check them out for yourself. In
22:56
the full report, OPR concluded that a Costa exercised poor
23:00
judgment when he failed to make certain that the state
23:02
intended to to and would notify survivors identified through the
23:07
federal investigation about the state plea hearing, and they didn't.
23:12
The survivors were left to twist in the wind. The
23:14
survivors were left to find out on their own about
23:16
this shit, and once again they were failed by people
23:20
who were put into these jobs to protect them. Your
23:24
job is to protect the citizens of the United States
23:27
at the Department of Justice and to prosecute those who
23:30
do us wrong. But instead you protect those that do
23:34
us wrong and prosecute the rest of us. His decision
23:43
led victim survivors uninformed about an important proceeding that resolved
23:48
the federal investigation, an investigation about which the United States
23:52
Attorney's Office had communicated with survivors for months. It also
23:57
ultimately created the misimpression that the Justice Department intentionally sought
24:02
to silence the survivors miss impression. No, that we got
24:07
the right impression, and you're not going to change the
24:09
narrative with your report here, and you're not going to
24:11
be able to spin it. Bill Barr's henchman. I mean,
24:16
it's an absolute joke and a travesty that the Department
24:19
of Justice would put out this shit bag report and
24:22
not think that the blowback was going to be severe.
24:26
Maybe they don't care because they're on their way out
24:28
and this is one last shit they're going to take
24:30
on the desk before they move on with their regular
24:32
lives and go into private practice and make millions and
24:36
millions of dollars off of the connections that they established
24:40
while they were not doing the job that we put
24:42
them in DC to do. And yet we keep sending
24:46
the incumbents back. Wooo, Joe Biden, He's gonna save us
24:49
all you break. The report also contains an intriguing mention
24:58
of former President Billy Clinton and how his friendship with
25:02
Epstein might have affected the prosecution. It also paints celebrity
25:07
attorney Alan I kept my underpants on Dershowitz in unflattering terms.
25:13
Oh yeah, they have a lot of big words right
25:15
about Bill Clinton and Alan Dershowitz. Definitely, Oh yeah, we
25:18
have some information, and you know, it paints them in
25:21
a bad light, But nobody ever asked them questions, where's
25:24
the Miami Herald? Are they showing up at Bill Clinton's office?
25:27
Are they pursuing him the way they did Acosta. Every
25:29
time we turn around, there's a document with Bill Clinton's
25:32
name in it. But yet nobody is chasing him down
25:35
to get answers. Nobody's camping out waiting for him to
25:37
come out of red robin to have a talk. Ask yourselves, folks,
25:42
why is that the case? Every single official document that
25:45
comes out mentions Bill Clinton, and yet here we are
25:49
Bill Clinton getting a free ride once again. The summary
25:55
said the Office of Professional Responsibility, which investigates allegations of
25:59
miss conduct by federal prosecutors, had reviewed hundreds of thousands
26:04
of records, including emails, letters, memos, and investigative materials, and
26:09
conducted more than sixty interviews of witnesses, from FBI case
26:13
agents to former Deputy Attorney General of the Justice Department.
26:18
Oh yeah, I'm sure that they all aren't rallying around
26:20
each other to protect the image of the Department of Justice,
26:24
to protect themselves, to protect any of their wrongdoing. Perhaps
26:29
I'm so tired of the government circling the wagons whenever
26:34
the pressure gets put on them. They work for us.
26:39
It's time we let them know that again. In a statement,
26:44
the Justice Department said it shared the executive summary of
26:48
the report with survivors on Thursday, and the full report
26:51
with a congressional committee. Well, isn't that nice? A congressional committee. Huh,
26:57
they're getting the full report. They have enough time to
27:02
do that. Are they too busy infighting still and not
27:05
passing stimulus and not helping American people? What exactly is
27:10
it that they're doing in Congress, folks? Can anyone tell
27:13
me what they're doing? Because they're not doing anything that's
27:16
benefiting our lives, that's for sure. While OPR did not
27:25
find that the department attorneys engaged in professional misconduct, OPR
27:30
concluded that the survivors were not treated with the forthrightness
27:34
and sensitivity expected by the department. The statement said, it's
27:38
always the same shit, right, Oh, well, they took it.
27:40
They had a misstep, but they weren't doing it on purpose.
27:44
They weren't really trying to help Jeffrey Epstein. It was
27:47
just a misstep. It was just an accident, an accident. Sorry,
27:52
I don't believe it. Okay, I don't believe it for
27:55
a second. And an independent agency, independent of the Attorney
28:01
General's Office, the Inspector General, etc. Etc. Should really look
28:06
into what happened in this case. Among the federal prosecutors
28:16
who avoided being targeted for criticism in the executive summary
28:20
were Acosta's former top assistant Jeffrey Slowman, ex criminal chief
28:25
Matthew Menchell, former case prosecutor Marie Villafauna, who had prepared
28:30
a sex trafficking an indictment against Epstein that was not filed,
28:34
and her boss, Andrew Lourie. They and their actions, however,
28:38
are detailed in the full unreleased report. Why isn't it
28:42
released to the public. I'm so tired of this shit
28:45
it gets released to Who are representatives? Do you feel
28:48
like you're representative in Washington, DC folks by your congressman
28:52
or your senator that they went there because of money
28:55
that came from out of your state? Anyway, do they
28:58
represent you or do they represent there's a party that
29:00
they belonged to. I certainly don't feel represented by either side.
29:07
I am pleased that the OPR finally has completed its investigation,
29:11
but I'm dis I but am disappointed that has not
29:14
released the full report so the survivors and the public
29:18
can have a fuller accounting of the depth of interference
29:21
by the US Attorney's Office management. Epstein's lawyers that led
29:25
to patently unjust outcome in the Epstein case. Villa Fauna,
29:30
who resigned as a federal prosecutor last year but had
29:33
remained silent on the matter, said in a statement, So
29:36
that's pretty damning. Huh. She's blaming the US Attorney's office
29:41
and Epstein's lawyers. Everyone's blaming her and the state lawyers.
29:45
But I'm sure there's plenty of blame to go around.
29:49
I blame everybody involved, Villa Fauna as well. But why
29:53
didn't the federal government, federal prosecutor prosecutors MW. Casey's boys
29:59
really go for the throat here? Since when does the
30:03
state tell the federal government to step aside? That injustice
30:10
I believe was the result of deep implicit institutional biases
30:15
that prevented me and the FBI agents who worked diligently
30:18
on this case from holding mister Epstein accountable for his crimes.
30:22
She's throwing the Department of Justice under the bus here.
30:25
She's saying that it was the Department of Justice's fault
30:28
that this wasn't prosecuted, and Michael mccasey, who was in
30:31
charge of the Department of Justice at the time, should
30:34
take the full brunt of this shit, but he won't. Sloman,
30:39
who served as Acosta's first assistant during the Epstein prosecution,
30:42
declined to comment. In an op ed piece published last
30:46
year in The Miami Herald, Sloman acknowledged that Epstein deserved
30:49
harsher punishment than he ended up getting. Oh isn't that
30:52
nice of you, mister Sloman. We're glad that you could
30:55
find it in your heart to, you know, open your
30:58
eyes and see that Epstein's crude literally everybody he's ever
31:03
been around. And the people of the United States are
31:08
tired of shit like this. And if you won't hold
31:12
people accountable, then it's going to be up to us
31:15
to hold you accountable for not doing your job. And
31:19
I'm here to tell you, folks, that is exactly where
31:22
I'm at right now, right this second. You can call
31:25
me the Kujeen against the Machine, because I am raging,
31:31
folks at these people in power. At the time, Sloman
31:38
defended Acosta's integrity in handling the case. Our priorities were
31:42
to make sure Epstein could not hurt anyone else and
31:45
to compensate Epstein's survivors without re traumatizing them. Well, you
31:49
failed all right, he got out of jail, and he
31:51
continued to abuse people. If I was abused by this
31:55
man after you had already sent him to jail and
31:57
he signed this his plush plea agreement, I would sue
32:02
the United States government for complicity in this. They should
32:06
have put him in jail, but yet because of their negligence,
32:09
he was let free, and he continued on committing his crimes.
32:13
How dare you? Sloman wrote in February twenty nineteen, apparently
32:22
referring to a short term Epstein served in the Palm
32:25
Beach jail and settlements paid to some of Epstein's survivors.
32:29
The op ed was published months later, before before A.
32:33
Costa resigned as Labor Secretary. The OPR investigation was prompted
32:38
by the twenty eighteen Miami Herald series Perversion of Justice,
32:42
which renewed interest in the non prosecution agreement. And that's
32:47
for sure it did. But isn't the timing a bit
32:49
funny to you? Where was this investigation prior to twenty sixteen?
32:55
All of a sudden it became top priority. The executive
33:01
summary mentions the Miami Herald's reporting numerous times as the
33:05
reason for the intense public interest. A little low key
33:08
flexing right here. Huh. They've earned it. Though. As much
33:10
as I break their balls for the motivation behind their investigation,
33:15
it really doesn't matter, Honestly, when all the chips are down.
33:18
They're the ones who initiated this and kicked it into gear,
33:22
and for that I am definitely thankful. But don't you know,
33:26
piss on my back and tell me it's raining over here?
33:29
All right? We know your motivations, and we know why.
33:33
The investigation was initiated by the Miami Herald. It mentioned
33:40
a breakfast meeting between Acosta and one of Epstein's lawyers,
33:44
Jay Lefkowitz, in October two thousand and seven, that was
33:47
highlighted in the Herald series. OPR did not find evidence
33:52
establishing that Acosta's breakfast meeting with one of Epstein's defense
33:56
counsel in October twenty seventeen led to the NPA, which
34:00
had been signed weeks earlier, or to any other significant
34:03
decision that benefited Epstein. Okay, how would you know that? What?
34:07
Did you have an interview with Lefkuwitz and an interview
34:10
with Acosta, and they both said everything was above board.
34:13
We certainly didn't do anything wrong. We were just catching
34:16
up over some tea and crumpets, give me a break.
34:20
So they met and they didn't have any kind of
34:22
conversations about the case. Huh. They were talking about their
34:25
families and the bowling league. I guess described the meeting
34:28
as unusual, was flawed. The Herald series, however, described how,
34:34
in the months after the meeting, Epstein's legal team, pepper'd Acosta,
34:38
ends his subordinates with emails demanding modifications to the arrangement,
34:42
citing assurances given at the meeting, and the evidence is there. Okay,
34:47
So what I'm doing here now is we're just putting
34:50
it all into context. So you got a nice and
34:53
plush idea about how effed up the Department of Justices
34:57
now and then all right, now, remember the Department of
35:01
Justice didn't just automatically overnight become shitty when bar showed up. Okay,
35:07
it has been shitty forever, it's shitty now, and it's
35:11
going to get shittier in the next term. I'm guessing.
35:18
Emails examined by The Herald show the lawyers wanted survivors
35:21
not to be informed of the status of negotiations, contrary
35:25
to the crime Victim Rights Act, apparently to ensure there
35:28
was no interference in the shaping of the deal. Emails
35:32
and other communications showed they also pushed to have the
35:35
arrangement sealed by a judge so it could not be
35:38
examined by the survivors or the public. Does this sound
35:41
like something that's on the up and up with you
35:43
or the kind of deal that a pervert, sick ass
35:46
pedophile like Jeffrey Epstein should get. Of course not so.
35:50
Then you have to accelerate and ask yourself, hmm, why
35:54
was Jeffrey Epstein getting such a sweetheart deal? What was
35:57
going on behind the scenes? And they still won't answer
36:02
those questions. All of that occurred although the agreement was
36:08
eventually unsealed. The report also provides answers to who knew
36:13
about the deal at DOJ headquarters. It outlines how just
36:17
after the original deal was hammered out, Epstein's attorneys began
36:20
going over Acosta's head to lobby headquarters. This is what
36:24
I've been talking about. Guys, don't get so caught up
36:28
on Acosta. Of course he's part of it, but he
36:31
is the fallman. The idiots behind the scenes, the higher
36:35
ups at the Department of Justice, people like Mukaesy and
36:39
Mark Philippe. These are the assholes that signed off on this.
36:43
These are the assholes that could have stopped it, And
36:46
these are the assholes that did nothing. In May two
36:51
thousand and eight letter to Deputy Attorney General Mark Philippe,
36:55
two of the prominent members of Epstein's legal team, former
36:59
Solicitor j General Kenneth Starr and former US Attorney Joe Whitley,
37:04
suggested that the federal investigation into Epstein was politically motivated
37:08
because of his close ties to former President Clinton. Again,
37:13
his close ties to former President Clinton. We had the
37:17
investigation kicked off by the Miami Herald because Acosta was
37:21
related to Trump. Now are we ever going to have
37:23
the same sort of investigation kicked into Bill Clinton? Here,
37:29
Let's bring them all down, every last one of them.
37:34
Now that this election's over and Trump is going to
37:36
be gone, what is the media going to do with itself?
37:40
Sit around and go back to the old days when
37:43
they were talking about nonsense. How about the media does
37:47
something decent here? How about the media looks into Bill Clinton.
37:55
There's no election ramifications now, there's no worrying about using
37:58
it on the other side using it politically. Your guy
38:01
won the race, all right, the presidency. Now it's time
38:05
to investigate Bill Clinton. Where's the media at are they
38:08
going to show up the legacy media? How many reports
38:12
does Slick will you need to be mentioned in as
38:14
being close to Jeffrey Epstein. But yet the cognitive dissonance
38:19
is real, Like Nancy Pelosi's daughter said, some of our
38:23
faives are going to be caught up in this. There
38:30
was little doubt. They wrote that Acosta's office never would
38:33
have contemplated a prosecution in this case. If mister Epstein
38:37
were just another John, give me a break. If he
38:39
was just another John, he would have got buried underneath
38:42
the jail. Starr, ironically, is best known for his dog
38:48
his dogged pursuit of Clinton during his impeachment for lying
38:51
about his affair with intern Monica Lewinsky. Despite those efforts
38:55
to suay senior Justice Department officials, the report suggests that
38:59
then Attorney General Mukazy had no role in the Epstein case, No,
39:04
none at all. Mukazy didn't know, He had no idea
39:08
what was going on down in Florida with a high
39:10
profile guy like Jeffrey Epstein. Even though his office was
39:13
being lobbied. He had no idea. You kidding, He's above that.
39:17
Mister Mukayzy would never be involved in that. Give me
39:21
a break. Dude's a war criminal like the rest of
39:23
the Bush administration. The report notes that Mukayzy had lunch
39:28
in Miami with Acosta and other senior managers in the
39:31
US Attorney's office a little over a month before Epstein
39:36
ultimately pleaded guilty in state court, but that Epstein's case
39:40
was not discussed at the time. Of course it wasn't.
39:43
This is why the internal investigation is such a joke.
39:47
Such bup kiss. They didn't talk about it at all.
39:51
Huh what was it? Just some old friends catching up
39:54
and it just happened to coincide with the fact that
39:56
Jeffrey Epstein was on trial. Ludacris at best. The Office
40:04
of Professional Responsibility is a nonpartisan division of the Justice Department,
40:09
formed in nineteen seventy five in response to the Watergate
40:12
scandal and run by career prosecutors. It investigates allegations of
40:17
professional misconduct by DOJ prosecutors and immigration judges. So it's
40:24
run by career prosecutors aka friends of Mukayzi, friends of
40:30
the court, friends of the Department of Justice. It's a
40:34
good old boys club, folks, and you're not invited. As
40:40
The Herald previously reported and as was acknowledged in its report,
40:44
the Office of Professional Responsibility previously declined to investigate complaints
40:49
about the handling of the Epstein case in twenty ten,
40:52
citing ongoing litigation involving the survivors. Now twenty ten, huh,
40:57
remind me who is the president then? Oh yeah, Barack
41:00
Obama who was his vice president? Then, oh yeah, Joe
41:03
Biden and his Office of Professional Responsibility during the time
41:10
of Biden as vice president and Obama as president declined
41:15
to investigate Jeffrey Epstein. Now, what makes you think that
41:20
Joe Biden is coming in riding on his white horse
41:23
and he's gonna prosecute this to the fullest. I'm sorry,
41:28
maybe I'm a cynic, but I'll believe it when I
41:33
see it. The OPR summary said that Epstein's survivors and
41:40
their attorneys were among those interviewed for the internal investigation,
41:43
a detail confirmed by one of the lawyers, Spencer coven
41:47
The Justice Department's questions, he cautioned, were narrowly focused on
41:51
the sexual assault in Florida. At the time the crimes
41:54
were committed, it was a time when law did not
41:57
prescribe serious punishment for those those who inappropriately touched victims
42:02
under the age of consent, which is eighteen in Florida. Florida,
42:07
what a shit show, huh. I mean, beautiful place, a
42:11
lot of great people. Every time I've ever went down
42:13
there and visited, it's been fun. But man, oh man,
42:16
what the hell is wrong with the laws here? Talk
42:19
about having to set a laws put into place to
42:22
help the so called members of polite society, shit on
42:26
the rest of us. Merely touching was punished differently than
42:31
full intercourse, Couven said. In the case of my clients,
42:34
there was no penetration. That law has since been changed. Well,
42:38
thank god. Couven also questioned why the FBI did not
42:43
dig deeper. They had interviewed enough people to know that
42:46
Epstein was traveling between New York and New Mexico, so
42:49
any decent investigator would have looked into whether he was
42:53
doing this in other states, he said, citing two other
42:55
locales where Epstein maintained homes. I don't believe the FBI
42:59
didn't do that. I think the US attorney made a
43:01
conscious decision to shut the investigation down quickly, and that
43:06
was a Costa's decision. Yeah, I don't believe that, though.
43:09
I believe that Acosta is the fall guy, and I'm
43:11
until I have other evidence that Mukesy and Mark Philippe
43:14
weren't involved in this and didn't put pressure on Acosta.
43:17
I'm sorry, I can't believe that. Let's be honest, folks,
43:21
a low level federal prosecutor would be able to have
43:27
the lateral ability to make that move on his own.
43:29
I am sorry. The facts just don't add up to that.
43:34
Epstein's survivors are mentioned in another passage in the full
43:37
report concerning Epstein attorney Alan I kept my underpants on Dershowitz.
43:43
In it, former Palm Beach County State Attorney Barry Krisher
43:46
recalled that Epstein's defense team had brought brought materials seeking
43:51
to discredit Epstein's accusers in pushing for the state to
43:54
allow Epstein to plead no contest rather than guilty of
43:58
possible sex charges. So we've talked about this. He destroyed
44:05
the credibility of the the victims, right, Oh, they were
44:11
sexually promiscuous, they drank, they smoked pot. Oh, they smoked weed.
44:16
They're evil, and they brought this whole profile destroying these
44:21
girls to the prosecutors, and the prosecutors instead of defending
44:25
these girls like they should have just jumped on board.
44:28
Oh yeah, these girls are incredible. They're bad witnesses. It's
44:33
such an absolute travesty of justice. Krisher told OPR that
44:39
he remembered Dershowitz as overly aggressive, adding that Dershowitz had threatened,
44:44
We're going to destroy your witnesses. Don't go to court
44:47
because we're going to destroy those girls. Dershowitz and Epstein
44:50
accuser Virginia Roberts, are currently suing each other for defamation.
44:55
I'll think about how evil you have to be as
44:58
a scuzzbag like Dershowitz. We're going to destroy your witnesses.
45:02
Don't go to court because we're going to destroy those girls.
45:05
These girls were fifteen, sixteen years old. And that's how
45:08
this bitch ass chump talks. Real tough guy, aren't you? You?
45:12
Bully ass punk boy. Dershowitz is a real piece of shit.
45:16
Your podcast sucks, Your life sucks. You can't go to
45:21
your naked volleyball games anymore. And guess what, we're just
45:24
getting started with you, mister Dershowitz. Mister, let's destroy these
45:29
fifteen year old girls that make you feel strong, bro,
45:31
make you feel like a tough guy. You're not. Dershowitz
45:37
didn't deny raising raising issues about the credibility of Epstein's
45:41
accusers in conversation with Krisher, but did deny using that language. Yeah, okay, sure.
45:47
In fifty five years of practice, I can say that
45:50
I have never threatened to destroy a witness. Dershowitz said.
45:53
I told him that his witnesses were only a handful
45:57
at the time, had credibility issues, that it was our
46:00
duty as defense lawyers to challenge their credibility. I'm almost
46:06
tongue tied here, credibility issues because they smoked pot and
46:10
they had sex breaking news. That's what teenagers do. Dershowitz
46:17
said that he wasn't contacted by the authors of the
46:19
Justice Department report, of course not. Those are your boys,
46:23
those are your homies. Didn't you just go and defend
46:25
Donald Trump? Why would anyone contact you, mister Dershowitz, You
46:30
bitch ass chump. In the wake of the Herald series
46:34
about Acosta's handling of the Epstein case. The US Attorney's
46:38
office in New York filed sex trafficking charges against Epstein
46:41
and arrested him in July twenty nineteen, making the same
46:45
federal case that Acosta's office could have made a decade
46:48
earlier against the New Yorker who owned a townhouse mansion
46:52
in Manhattan. The revived case, however, took a shocking detour
46:57
when the sixty six year old was found hanging in
46:59
his cell in August twenty nineteen. Under mysterious circumstances. His
47:04
death was ruled a suicide. Now, I like how the
47:07
Miami Herald hasn't bought into that yet. Here right under
47:10
mysterious circumstances, that is for sure what his death was.
47:14
Nobody can tell you one way or the other how
47:16
he died, all right, And anybody who's trying to pump
47:19
that shit to you is lying to you, And be
47:23
aware of that shit. Why waste your time with people
47:26
that are bullshitting you. The original investigation, more than ten
47:32
years ago, found that Epstein paid dozens of girls, many
47:35
of them under age, cash to engage in nude massages
47:39
masturbation oral sex and intercourse in his palatial mansion in
47:43
Palm Beach. The encounters were scheduled by members of his staff,
47:47
the core four. Are you ready? I hope you're getting
47:50
all of your business affairs in order, because your time
47:54
is coming. As a result of his plea in state court,
47:59
Epstein register as a sex offender in Florida and agreed
48:02
to pay damages to forty female victims, ranging in age
48:06
from thirteen to seventeen. Thirteen to seventeen. And those are
48:13
the girls that Dershowitz says he was going to destroy. Now,
48:19
mind you, this is the We're not we haven't even
48:21
gotten to Virginia's and the Courteneys of the world in
48:24
the Epstein story. These are the young girls from high
48:26
school that were being brought in through a revolving door
48:29
in the Palm Beach mansion, thirteen to seventeen years old.
48:34
How dare these prosecutors? How dare the whole entire government
48:39
let this occur? As part of the plea agreement negotiated
48:45
by Acosta's office, Epstein wouldn't be charged in federal court,
48:49
even though the FEDS had drawn up or proposed fifty
48:51
three page indictment that carried up potential punishment ranging from
48:55
a mandatory ten years in prison to a life sentence.
48:59
Think about that. If they would have went through with it,
49:02
if your government officials would have went through with it,
49:06
Epstein would have never hurt any of those other girls
49:09
after he was originally charged here. So all of those
49:12
girls who came in the aftermath, all of those lives
49:15
that were ruined, are directly on the shoulders of the
49:20
Department of Justice. Acosta's non prosecution agreement was signed by
49:26
the financier pedophile and his lawyers in September two thousand
49:30
and seven and amended through the end of that year.
49:34
The deal also immunized several of his alleged co conspirators
49:38
from federal prosecution. The DOJ report criticizes the non prosecution
49:43
agreement as a flawed mechanism that removed federal control over
49:48
the case to the state authorities. So that's important. I
49:51
think that'll come into play with the Eleventh Circuit Court
49:54
of Appeals as well. This report criticizes the NPA, everybody
49:59
criticiz sizes it and says it's garbage. So now it's
50:02
time for the Eleventh Circuit Court of appeals to overturn it.
50:07
That's what needs to happen. That's how we fix this.
50:10
That's how justice is served in this case, because obviously
50:13
the Department of Justice won't do it themselves. So let's
50:16
get the courts involved and let's force the issue. Epstein
50:22
ended up serving just over a year in a Palm
50:24
Beach County stockade, while local authorities allowed him during his
50:28
incarceration to go to work or do whatever you wanted
50:32
for six days out of every week, returning to the
50:34
stockade only at night. Now, imagine having that sort of
50:39
ability while you're locked up and you're a guest of
50:41
the federal government. Sure, go ahead, do whatever you want,
50:45
mister Epstein. You can wander around, you can go out,
50:48
you can abuse girls, no problem. We're here for you, sir.
50:52
What would you like? Can I get you a drink?
50:55
Maybe you want some cheese? It's for when you're watching
50:58
the late night shows. What can we do for you
51:01
to make your life easier? You've monster? And meanwhile, while
51:08
Jeffrey Epstein is catching sweetheart deals, while Jeffrey Epstein is
51:12
living like a prince while he's still in jail, the
51:16
survivors are left waiting for answers, and once again waiting
51:23
on justice. If you'd like to contact me, you can
