- 0:00Speaker 1: Tampa Bay's best music is made nine.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Welcome to another episode of Scotty and Abbey Unfiltered. It
- 0:08Speaker 2: was a very adventurous weekend twice. I will go ahead
- 0:11Speaker 2: and just say right now, I almost made an absolute
- 0:13Speaker 2: fool of myself at one of my best friend's weddings.
- 0:16Speaker 3: You make a fool of yourself, Okay.
- 0:18Speaker 2: I like to unwind, but I don't think I understood
- 0:20Speaker 2: how much older I've gotten since the last time. I
- 0:23Speaker 2: like fully turned up and I went hard on Saturday
- 0:27Speaker 2: at this wedding.
- 0:28Speaker 3: So you embarrass yourself.
- 0:29Speaker 2: I well, I had definitely I had anxiety where on
- 0:33Speaker 2: Sunday I was like replaying things in my mind of like,
- 0:36Speaker 2: what the hell did I do? What did I say?
- 0:39Speaker 2: I'm so grateful I'm alive. That's kind of how I
- 0:42Speaker 2: felt on Sunday morning. Gotcham but I was also very surprised.
- 0:45Speaker 2: I felt I was definitely hungover, but I didn't feel
- 0:47Speaker 2: as bad as I thought I would. Come Sunday morning
- 0:50Speaker 2: like a quick walk, a quick shower, a little bit
- 0:52Speaker 2: of water, and I was like, but it hurts a
- 0:55Speaker 2: lot more now, like that I'm getting close to thirty.
- 0:59Speaker 1: I had, well, I did have a lot of drinks.
- 1:01Speaker 2: Like two glasses of champagne and a couple of cocktails,
- 1:04Speaker 2: and damn it wore me down. Yeah, I probably shouldn't
- 1:08Speaker 2: just cut it off after like maybe one cocktail that
- 1:10Speaker 2: would have been actually the better thing you.
- 1:11Speaker 3: Could have had two or three.
- 1:13Speaker 1: You're a good dude. Four or five like it.
- 1:16Speaker 3: Five is not bad for a guy your size.
- 1:18Speaker 2: But I don't drink often, so when I drink, it
- 1:21Speaker 2: hits like a rocket ship going off to the moon.
- 1:24Speaker 3: You say you don't drink often, but I drink with
- 1:27Speaker 3: you a lot.
- 1:28Speaker 1: You know what I mean. I'm trying to be cool
- 1:30Speaker 1: and a hit by abby.
- 1:31Speaker 3: Like I never go out. I'm like, I've been out
- 1:33Speaker 3: with you, like like several times.
- 1:36Speaker 2: I will say this year, I have gone out, and
- 1:38Speaker 2: I've done more things like that than I probably have
- 1:40Speaker 2: in the past like three years. Yeah, just because I'm like,
- 1:42Speaker 2: you know what I want to go, Like step back
- 1:43Speaker 2: into the city. There's a lot of things that I
- 1:45Speaker 2: want us to go and check out. Yeah, you know what,
- 1:47Speaker 2: I can indulge.
- 1:48Speaker 1: In one or two cocktails.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Now a wedding where it's just unlimited bar access and
- 1:52Speaker 2: there's champagne as soon as you walk in that's a
- 1:55Speaker 2: different story, but.
- 1:56Speaker 1: I will get to that in just a second.
- 1:58Speaker 2: But I do want to also talk about your weekend
- 1:59Speaker 2: because you got to spend some time with your fam.
- 2:01Speaker 3: Yeah. I had the most treacherous drive to Jacksonville. This
- 2:04Speaker 3: is this is how thrilling my weekend was. I'm gonna
- 2:06Speaker 3: talk to you about traffic. So basically, there's usually a
- 2:10Speaker 3: three to four hour drive, depending on traffic, from Tampa
- 2:13Speaker 3: to Jack's. And so my brother's couple shower.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Was this weekend.
- 2:16Speaker 3: It was Masters themed. I was very excited at a
- 2:18Speaker 3: new dress to wear, and I left with thinking, Okay,
- 2:23Speaker 3: I'm going to drive to my parents' house and then
- 2:24Speaker 3: uber to this to the shower, and I leave probably
- 2:28Speaker 3: around ten thirty. I did not get to Jacksonville until
- 2:32Speaker 3: about four.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Oh my gosh.
- 2:34Speaker 3: I don't know what was happening on the roads, but
- 2:37Speaker 3: every single pocket of Florida I ran into some kind
- 2:40Speaker 3: of bumper of bumper traffic. It wasn't just Orlando, it
- 2:43Speaker 3: was Tampa and then Orlando, and then the back roads
- 2:45Speaker 3: outside of Orlando, and then the back rounds outside of
- 2:48Speaker 3: Saint Augustine until I was like, I don't even really want.
- 2:50Speaker 1: To go to the shower and it's exhausting.
- 2:52Speaker 3: I was like, after five to six hours in the car,
- 2:54Speaker 3: I'm sweaty, I'm gross. And then the worst part of
- 2:58Speaker 3: it is I literally so I'm so ex I had
- 3:00Speaker 3: to wear this dress. I got it on sale and
- 3:03Speaker 3: finally I wiped all the sweat off of my body.
- 3:06Speaker 3: And I go into this party and literally the first
- 3:09Speaker 3: person I see when I walk in, she's wearing the
- 3:11Speaker 3: same fucking dresses. No way, which is fine, Like, it's
- 3:14Speaker 3: not there's no offense.
- 3:15Speaker 1: To that, you know what I mean, It's just a coincidence.
- 3:17Speaker 3: But I walk in all this way. The only thing
- 3:20Speaker 3: I was gonna be through is I have my fabulous
- 3:21Speaker 3: dress when I have an afparo sprits And the first
- 3:22Speaker 3: thing I see, I'm like, this is not a hoe
- 3:25Speaker 3: put my dress on, which is fine, sweet oul, but yeah,
- 3:28Speaker 3: there's nothing wrong with wearing the same dress as somebody else, Like,
- 3:32Speaker 3: no one's planning to do that. The only thing that
- 3:34Speaker 3: sucks about it is then for the entire party, everyone's going,
- 3:37Speaker 3: oh my god, you guys are wearing the same I'm like,
- 3:39Speaker 3: I'm looking at her, I'm literally looking at her.
- 3:42Speaker 1: What you saw? I saw too, Like I get it.
- 3:44Speaker 3: People are taking photos of it. I'm like, dude, like
- 3:46Speaker 3: I know, let's just pretend like they're different dresses.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Yeah, like slightly different colors.
- 3:51Speaker 3: Really different colors.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Was yours one of those that you could Did you
- 3:54Speaker 1: actually buy it? Did you rent it?
- 3:55Speaker 2: No?
- 3:55Speaker 3: I bought it?
- 3:56Speaker 1: Oh wow, yeah, so now you got to find another
- 3:58Speaker 1: outing for it.
- 3:58Speaker 3: No, I know.
- 3:59Speaker 1: I was like, I have to wear again for another
- 4:01Speaker 1: golf event.
- 4:01Speaker 3: What works is? I loved wearing the dress and I
- 4:04Speaker 3: got a good Instagram photo on it.
- 4:06Speaker 1: People I was. I texted Ay, I was like, people
- 4:08Speaker 1: are loving that outfit.
- 4:10Speaker 3: People are loving the dress.
- 4:11Speaker 2: I need moments like I actually I posted up a
- 4:13Speaker 2: picture of me in my suit because I was like,
- 4:14Speaker 2: I want to have an outfit moment too.
- 4:16Speaker 3: We should start posting like each other on Instagram.
- 4:18Speaker 1: I copy each other's out there, Like.
- 4:20Speaker 3: I'm just gonna start dancing with old women.
- 4:22Speaker 1: I thrive.
- 4:23Speaker 2: I literally, I tell you know, there's people in my
- 4:25Speaker 2: life that I'm like, I want you to know, you know,
- 4:27Speaker 2: especially like I'm talking to someone and I let them
- 4:30Speaker 2: know and they're super cool with it.
- 4:31Speaker 1: But I'm like I thrive with older women.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Like if you catch me at a party and there's
- 4:35Speaker 2: an older woman like there's something in me that just
- 4:36Speaker 2: wants to make sure that they have the best time ever.
- 4:38Speaker 1: And so that's it.
- 4:39Speaker 2: That's actually what happened at this wedding is one of
- 4:41Speaker 2: my good friends, Miguel, had his mom at this wedding,
- 4:44Speaker 2: and his mom and I, like, we've had so many
- 4:46Speaker 2: conversations over the year because I used to work with Miguel,
- 4:49Speaker 2: and so as his mom's there, I was like, I
- 4:50Speaker 2: love her and I was like, I'm on dance with her.
- 4:52Speaker 1: I brought her out, I'm twirling her all around.
- 4:55Speaker 2: I watched the video on my Instagram though, and this
- 4:57Speaker 2: is how you knew I was a little tipsy, like
- 4:58Speaker 2: my hand like graced her back. Oh, and I like
- 5:01Speaker 2: I saw it in the video. I was like, I
- 5:02Speaker 2: hope she didn't get like weirded out by that. Like
- 5:04Speaker 2: I I was just trying to twirl her.
- 5:06Speaker 3: Does she have a mister mcguel's dad? Okay, so she's single.
- 5:09Speaker 2: I mean, you know, I was just saying, it's not
- 5:11Speaker 2: my Migul's like, you better tell your mama said, hey
- 5:13Speaker 2: posted that video up.
- 5:15Speaker 3: What Scotti? I was like, why do I feel like
- 5:16Speaker 3: you and Miguel's mom's because I could just picture this
- 5:20Speaker 3: woman like taking him for such a ride.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Scotty's like, oh my god, I cannot, I can't keep.
- 5:30Speaker 1: She is such a fabulous woman.
- 5:32Speaker 2: But that's why it's like there's certain people in your
- 5:33Speaker 2: life that just anytime you get around them, you just
- 5:35Speaker 2: can't help but smile. You're laughing, and like it just
- 5:38Speaker 2: brings the best side out of you. And so it
- 5:40Speaker 2: was a lot of that.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Like the wedding was.
- 5:42Speaker 2: It's like forty people like that where everyone knows each other.
- 5:45Speaker 2: So it's like this big reunion of you're just going
- 5:47Speaker 2: from pocket to pocket, catching up here, talking radio, here,
- 5:50Speaker 2: talking about love, here, doing karaoke in the middle of
- 5:53Speaker 2: the night. Here's where I messed up though, Okay, because
- 5:56Speaker 2: when we got there, immediately a couple of glasses of champagne.
- 5:58Speaker 1: I love it, but I knew I was giving a
- 6:00Speaker 1: speech later that night.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I had the honor of giving the toast,
- 6:05Speaker 2: and I'll tell you what I was. As somebody that
- 6:07Speaker 2: professionally speaks, this is like the most nervous I've ever
- 6:10Speaker 2: been because.
- 6:11Speaker 1: There's a lot at stake.
- 6:13Speaker 2: They could have picked anybody, they picked me, so I
- 6:16Speaker 2: knew that there's a couple of rules when it gives
- 6:17Speaker 2: a speech for a wedding. I knew it couldn't be
- 6:19Speaker 2: too long. So I was like, all right, we're gonna
- 6:21Speaker 2: cap it at two minutes. But in two minutes, how
- 6:24Speaker 2: do you make an impactful moment, a memorable moment, a
- 6:28Speaker 2: moment that you're worthy of speaking for. So I sat
- 6:32Speaker 2: on this for probably two months of like what the
- 6:34Speaker 2: hell am I going to say? And I'm very grateful
- 6:36Speaker 2: that my ex, like her and I were like working
- 6:38Speaker 2: on some of the notes. I was like asking, I
- 6:40Speaker 2: was like, what are some of the things like? Because
- 6:41Speaker 2: my brain just was not working because I was so
- 6:43Speaker 2: anxious about it. She gave me a couple of the
- 6:44Speaker 2: good memories that we've had, and so I kind of
- 6:46Speaker 2: jotted it down down and as it's leading up, I'm like,
- 6:49Speaker 2: don't drink another drink because I got to obviously give
- 6:51Speaker 2: this talk and I don't want to be stumbling over
- 6:53Speaker 2: my words. Like have you ever gone to a wedding
- 6:55Speaker 2: and someone's like pissed drunk giving a talk?
- 6:57Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 6:57Speaker 3: That was me.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Oh you got to be the one doing it.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Me and my cousin. I mentioned this at my cousin's wedding.
- 7:03Speaker 3: They told me the day before, They're like, you're give
- 7:04Speaker 3: me a speech, right, I'm like i am, And I
- 7:07Speaker 3: was so stressed out leading up to that wedding. It's
- 7:09Speaker 3: stressful that the second the ceremony was over, I was
- 7:13Speaker 3: guzzling champagne like it was water.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Oh shoot, yeah, I want to see a video of
- 7:19Speaker 2: this speech.
- 7:20Speaker 3: I can't find it anywhere. Well, the first of all,
- 7:22Speaker 3: I told you the only part of that speech that
- 7:24Speaker 3: made it was the tragger grill when I was talking
- 7:26Speaker 3: about the turkey, how good the turkey was.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Do you remember how long you went on?
- 7:28Speaker 2: For?
- 7:29Speaker 3: Not long two minutes? Because I'm like you, I'm like,
- 7:31Speaker 3: let's get in, let's get out. Nobody wants to hear
- 7:33Speaker 3: me drag on on on for thirty minutes. If they
- 7:35Speaker 3: want to hear that, they can turn on the Unfiltered podcast.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Exactly right.
- 7:38Speaker 3: But these people are at a wedding. They want to
- 7:40Speaker 3: get to the alcohol, They want to get to the
- 7:41Speaker 3: dance floor. They want to see them dance.
- 7:43Speaker 1: That's it. Well.
- 7:44Speaker 2: I was trying to stay as sober as I could
- 7:47Speaker 2: leading up to it, because I had it all written down,
- 7:49Speaker 2: but I didn't want to go up there reading it.
- 7:51Speaker 2: So my goal was I was trying to remember the
- 7:53Speaker 2: bullet points in my head and see where I wanted
- 7:55Speaker 2: to go with it. And I get up there and
- 7:57Speaker 2: let me just see. How do you know if a
- 7:59Speaker 2: speed each was impactful for a toast? Because I went
- 8:03Speaker 2: up there, I had a moment of silence for everyone,
- 8:05Speaker 2: and then I jumped into it.
- 8:06Speaker 1: I left my phone in my pocket.
- 8:07Speaker 2: I just let it rip, and I will say, I
- 8:09Speaker 2: think I freaking nailed it. Okay, everything was smooth and
- 8:12Speaker 2: didn't bumble over any words. I had a laugh, I
- 8:15Speaker 2: had a couple of cheers up in the airs, and
- 8:17Speaker 2: I believe I got tears from.
- 8:19Speaker 1: The bride and green here we go. So that's what
- 8:21Speaker 1: I was looking for.
- 8:21Speaker 3: What was the emotional pull? What was the story you
- 8:23Speaker 3: told again him to cry?
- 8:24Speaker 2: Well, there's been a couple of chapters of their lives
- 8:27Speaker 2: that like I've just gotten to watch them go through
- 8:29Speaker 2: of like making they're conjoining families together and seeing that
- 8:32Speaker 2: beauty and I like, they're sitting next to their families
- 8:36Speaker 2: like their daughters, and I'm like, look at what you
- 8:39Speaker 2: have done and the strength that it took to get here,
- 8:41Speaker 2: and knowing that it's not just love that we're celebrating,
- 8:44Speaker 2: it's that everybody here has been able to feel that love,
- 8:46Speaker 2: like they're friends that have literally opened their doors to
- 8:48Speaker 2: me so I could stay at their place, and I
- 8:50Speaker 2: brought those little stories up, and then I talked about
- 8:52Speaker 2: our karaoke sessions and all the fun that we've had
- 8:55Speaker 2: venturing around Tampa Bay. And then I gave a nice
- 8:58Speaker 2: moment for everyone to acknowledge that we're celebrate any love
- 9:00Speaker 2: but adventure, but in friendship, but also in joining families.
- 9:04Speaker 2: And it was such a beautiful moment. I will say
- 9:06Speaker 2: that I felt it was the cherry on top. Yeah,
- 9:09Speaker 2: it was a nice And usually I'm so obnoxious that
- 9:12Speaker 2: I would usually.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Be like, and everyone cheers on three what?
- 9:15Speaker 2: This time I felt it was like a different pocket
- 9:17Speaker 2: of me. I was like, you know what, and cheers
- 9:20Speaker 2: to the bride and groom. You're reading the room, And
- 9:21Speaker 2: everyone gave a nice cheers and they had tears in
- 9:24Speaker 2: the rise and I went over and hugged him, and
- 9:25Speaker 2: so I was pumped.
- 9:26Speaker 1: I was like, did it nailed it? Didn't read it?
- 9:29Speaker 1: I loved it.
- 9:30Speaker 2: But then I went to the bar and that's when
- 9:32Speaker 2: I was like gin and tonic, vodka, soda, load me up,
- 9:36Speaker 2: let's turn up.
- 9:36Speaker 3: Oh my god.
- 9:37Speaker 2: So I was having a great time, but all of
- 9:39Speaker 2: a sudden, one of the things I wanted to do
- 9:41Speaker 2: in the night they had a hot tub, and I
- 9:43Speaker 2: was like, oh yeah, I'm getting in that freaking hot tub.
- 9:46Speaker 1: It's time.
- 9:47Speaker 2: So I'm pretty tipsy and I get in the hot
- 9:49Speaker 2: tub and immediately that's where I noticed, like I hit
- 9:52Speaker 2: the wall boom.
- 9:53Speaker 1: I just all of a sudden, I was like, I
- 9:55Speaker 1: gotta go, I gotta go home.
- 9:58Speaker 3: Scotty's woo, I will.
- 10:00Speaker 2: I don't know what it was. It's like I got
- 10:02Speaker 2: extremely tired. Like immediately I was like, I'm just gonna
- 10:05Speaker 2: I could have fallen asleep in the hot tub.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Luckily we all got out, but I was like, guys,
- 10:11Speaker 1: I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go.
- 10:12Speaker 2: And so I actually I went to this wedding with
- 10:16Speaker 2: my ex. Like we literally ubered together.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Oh my god, we.
- 10:18Speaker 3: Buried the lead. Well He's like, I embarrassed myself. You
- 10:22Speaker 3: went to a wedding with your ex.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Here's the thing that's so cool about that situation that
- 10:26Speaker 2: it's hard for the outside world to understand if you
- 10:28Speaker 2: don't fully like my ex and I are like really
- 10:30Speaker 2: good friends. So it's like we had this whole plan.
- 10:33Speaker 2: We know the couple the same amount of time together,
- 10:35Speaker 2: so we're gonna uber to the wedding together. We had
- 10:38Speaker 2: a great conversation in the car. Here's what's interesting is
- 10:41Speaker 2: like the whole car ride we just talked about the
- 10:43Speaker 2: people that we're now with.
- 10:45Speaker 3: So I know you're dating somebody that I was m
- 10:48Speaker 3: M and then she's seating somebody else.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Correct, there's somebody that's like she's interested in.
- 10:53Speaker 3: Okay, so it's casual.
- 10:54Speaker 2: It's casual, but it was so interesting because how many
- 10:57Speaker 2: ex'es do you talk to about their new partners.
- 10:59Speaker 1: Yeah, I've never had that. Usually when someone's in ex like,
- 11:03Speaker 1: that's kind of it. We don't really talk ever again.
- 11:05Speaker 3: But you didn't have some big blow up. You didn't cheat,
- 11:08Speaker 3: she didn't cheat you guys, nothing wrong. Both just wanted
- 11:10Speaker 3: different things out of life and that sucks, but it's
- 11:13Speaker 3: not anything to ruin a relationship over.
- 11:15Speaker 2: And that's what's kind of fun is because as soon
- 11:17Speaker 2: as we get in you could definitely tell like our
- 11:19Speaker 2: friendship is starting to just grow in that comfort level. Yeah,
- 11:21Speaker 2: it's like she's telling me about her situations and we're
- 11:24Speaker 2: kind of like talking about it so openly. And what's
- 11:26Speaker 2: fun is it's not like it doesn't hurt. It's kind
- 11:29Speaker 2: of like I just I care about the person and
- 11:31Speaker 2: I want them to be happy, and so I want
- 11:33Speaker 2: whatever they're working on right now, whoever they're talking to,
- 11:35Speaker 2: Like literally, it's almost like a now. It's like a
- 11:37Speaker 2: productive like brother kind of feel where I'm like, they
- 11:40Speaker 2: better work for you, they better treat you right, don't
- 11:44Speaker 2: be playing games. And I felt that in the car.
- 11:46Speaker 2: I was like, Wow, I'm looking out for this person.
- 11:48Speaker 2: That's really cool, and I genuinely want that for them.
- 11:51Speaker 2: I want them to be super happy. And so we
- 11:53Speaker 2: go to this wedding. We're talking, we're having a great
- 11:56Speaker 2: time together, but the plan for the end of the
- 11:58Speaker 2: night is we were going to Uber back together and
- 12:00Speaker 2: then I was gonna go home. Well, I mean, I
- 12:03Speaker 2: was like just very drunk at that point. I'm like,
- 12:05Speaker 2: I gotta go, and she's like, well, I'm gonna hang
- 12:07Speaker 2: out for a little bit. So I'm trying to order
- 12:08Speaker 2: an uber and they keep canceling for like an hour.
- 12:11Speaker 3: Oh my god.
- 12:11Speaker 2: So in that time, period. Luckily, Scott didn't throw up
- 12:15Speaker 2: anywhere because he wanted to. He wanted to do real bad,
- 12:18Speaker 2: real bad.
- 12:18Speaker 3: That's what happens when you mixed gin with vodka.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Well they ran out well, I think actually at that
- 12:22Speaker 2: point I just kind of want to switch it up.
- 12:24Speaker 1: But I was like, all right, I need to go.
- 12:26Speaker 2: But then I got talking to a couple of friends again,
- 12:28Speaker 2: and an hour later, I'm like, oh, I sow it
- 12:31Speaker 2: up just enough.
- 12:32Speaker 3: Oh you need is a good glass of water and
- 12:33Speaker 3: a good song.
- 12:34Speaker 2: I had a good song, I had some Tara Masou,
- 12:36Speaker 2: I brought in the water, a good conversation. Next thing
- 12:39Speaker 2: you know, I'm like back to a plus Scott. Luckily
- 12:42Speaker 2: we got driven back. Everything was fine. So I was
- 12:45Speaker 2: three seconds away from falling asleep in a hot tub
- 12:47Speaker 2: throwing up in a bush. None of that happened. I
- 12:49Speaker 2: think that's maturity. As I've grown up and I can
- 12:51Speaker 2: handle myself and.
- 12:52Speaker 3: May get your liver. You're pushing it to failure was
- 12:54Speaker 3: a gym, but you're coming back stronger.
- 12:57Speaker 2: I don't know if it works like that, but I
- 12:59Speaker 2: definitely was proud of my because I don't think I
- 13:01Speaker 2: said anything to anybody that was inappropriate, huh. And I
- 13:05Speaker 2: don't think I made a move on anybody except for
- 13:07Speaker 2: Miguel's mom.
- 13:08Speaker 3: Here's what I want to know, though, What was it
- 13:10Speaker 3: like attending a wedding with someone you thought you would
- 13:12Speaker 3: marry one day you're not marrying.
- 13:14Speaker 2: You know, it's a very interesting feeling. No, it's actually
- 13:18Speaker 2: it's it's truly beautiful that we could be in the
- 13:20Speaker 2: same rooms together. Yeah, like that's part like I took away.
- 13:23Speaker 2: I was like, I love this side of our chapter.
- 13:26Speaker 2: I love that there's no like animosity toward each other,
- 13:29Speaker 2: there's no anger built up. I hear her talking about
- 13:32Speaker 2: her situations with a group of friends and I'm like,
- 13:34Speaker 2: that's really cool, and I hope I can give her
- 13:36Speaker 2: any support that she needs. And then I'm at my
- 13:38Speaker 2: table talking about my situation that I'm in and people
- 13:41Speaker 2: are getting to hear that side, and usually that would
- 13:43Speaker 2: feel so awkward, Like there's still a part of me
- 13:46Speaker 2: that even I said this to a friend, I was like, well,
- 13:47Speaker 2: I know, I just want to respect, you know, boundaries,
- 13:49Speaker 2: and they're like stop, like you guys are fine. She
- 13:53Speaker 2: does not care, Like, oh, okay, I guess that's true
- 13:55Speaker 2: because I don't really care either like I want her
- 13:57Speaker 2: happy and I think she wants the same.
- 13:59Speaker 3: It's easy for you to talk about it because you
- 14:00Speaker 3: also have someone. If you were single and she had
- 14:03Speaker 3: somebody else, would that hit you differently?
- 14:05Speaker 2: Well, I think so, But at the same time, no,
- 14:09Speaker 2: I think it would just be more like that would
- 14:10Speaker 2: just be the ego taking over. Yeah, because when I
- 14:13Speaker 2: noticed after we broke up and there was somebody that
- 14:16Speaker 2: she was flirting with, like my ego tried to speak
- 14:18Speaker 2: up and was like, wow, already moved on from you?
- 14:22Speaker 2: Does you not even care? And then my brain was like,
- 14:23Speaker 2: you're so lonely. Look at you lonely, nobody need to
- 14:27Speaker 2: smooch you on New Year's you with? And I was like,
- 14:29Speaker 2: shut up, brain, like what the heck do I care?
- 14:31Speaker 2: Like I'm on my own journey. Let me not just
- 14:34Speaker 2: find somebody to.
- 14:34Speaker 3: Find my own journey with seven other girls.
- 14:39Speaker 2: But she also got and there's you know, eventually I'll
- 14:41Speaker 2: be able to dive into some of these stories. But
- 14:43Speaker 2: she also got thrown into a weird world and the
- 14:47Speaker 2: beginning of my dating journey, which that wasn't fair to her,
- 14:51Speaker 2: But I think that definitely helped us understand, like we
- 14:53Speaker 2: want what's best for each other. And that ripped the
- 14:55Speaker 2: band aid off of what it would be like to
- 14:57Speaker 2: know that the other person has seen somebody else.
- 14:59Speaker 3: Gotcha the whole radio podcasting thing, because there's really no secrets,
- 15:03Speaker 3: Like you can't really hide from her if she's listening
- 15:06Speaker 3: or hearing things from other people.
- 15:07Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, And that's what happened.
- 15:09Speaker 2: I mean, as soon as we start talking about things here,
- 15:11Speaker 2: like of course, either she listens or a friend will
- 15:13Speaker 2: listen and report back. And I hope that it's never
- 15:15Speaker 2: somebody tries to put her name in ill Will or
- 15:17Speaker 2: my name in ill Will.
- 15:18Speaker 3: How does she feel about your new lady?
- 15:20Speaker 1: Well, she doesn't know her yet.
- 15:21Speaker 3: Well what have you told her about her?
- 15:23Speaker 1: Honestly, not much. I told her.
- 15:24Speaker 2: I'm, you know, really enjoying it. I haven't told her
- 15:27Speaker 2: a name, having showed her a picture.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Really yeah, because I just.
- 15:32Speaker 2: It's the first time ever I kind of wanted to
- 15:34Speaker 2: just hold things close for a while, and I want
- 15:36Speaker 2: to let things just build and I don't want to
- 15:38Speaker 2: pick there feel like there's any pressure from anyone.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Like I just wanted to just just exist, just exist.
- 15:44Speaker 2: It's very very enjoyable, but it is one thing she
- 15:47Speaker 2: said because she listened my ex. She's listened to the podcast.
- 15:50Speaker 2: She's like, oh, so you're paying for everything now, And
- 15:53Speaker 2: I was like, yeah, because when we went on our
- 15:56Speaker 2: first dates, like we would split everything right down the lape.
- 15:59Speaker 3: Are you in a different financial position than you are now?
- 16:01Speaker 2: I'm definitely in a different financial position. But I also
- 16:03Speaker 2: told her, I was like, when we started dating, you
- 16:06Speaker 2: were very adamant about us splitting everything, yeah, and so
- 16:09Speaker 2: I it was honestly like a respect thing. But now
- 16:13Speaker 2: there's a feeling internally I've really leaned into the side of.
- 16:16Speaker 1: Like I want to provide.
- 16:17Speaker 2: Yeah, and I'm the one that's setting up the dates,
- 16:20Speaker 2: so I'm going to pay for her. And even though
- 16:22Speaker 2: she tries, I'm like, I don't want her to I
- 16:24Speaker 2: don't want.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Her to pay. I want to pay.
- 16:25Speaker 3: It's a different dynamic for you very much. You felt
- 16:28Speaker 3: more like you want more stereotypical roles.
- 16:31Speaker 2: Correct, And that sounds weird, Like I don't want people
- 16:33Speaker 2: to take that in a weird way, but like there's
- 16:35Speaker 2: some rules like that I wanted to step into as
- 16:36Speaker 2: a man, like as a protector, as a provider, Like
- 16:40Speaker 2: these are things that I wanted to really lean into
- 16:42Speaker 2: and it. Here's what's crazy. And I know there's anybody
- 16:46Speaker 2: listening you could connect with that. But a lot of
- 16:47Speaker 2: men also, if they hear that, they're like, I get it,
- 16:49Speaker 2: because it's not something I turn on and off. It's
- 16:51Speaker 2: a feeling where I want to really be the one
- 16:53Speaker 2: to step up exactly. And I'm sure eventually, you know,
- 16:56Speaker 2: I will split dates again. I'm sure eventually, And I've
- 16:59Speaker 2: let you know the person I'm seeing, well, only pay
- 17:02Speaker 2: once for one thing. But for the most part, I
- 17:05Speaker 2: like doing it. It just feels really good. There's something
- 17:07Speaker 2: she might.
- 17:07Speaker 3: Just have more of that polarity to where she's more
- 17:10Speaker 3: comfortable in that position, to where she has different levels
- 17:13Speaker 3: to where you guys kind of match up better. Yea,
- 17:15Speaker 3: Does that make any sense?
- 17:16Speaker 1: It does.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Well. I've did a lot over the past couple of
- 17:18Speaker 2: months of like trying to understand the feminine and the masculine.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Yeah, it was something I didn't really understand.
- 17:22Speaker 2: I knew of the words, I knew the terms, but
- 17:24Speaker 2: I dove into it to kind of understand, like, what
- 17:26Speaker 2: is that feeling.
- 17:27Speaker 1: That I have in me?
- 17:28Speaker 2: Oh, that's that, and then understanding you know, a lot
- 17:31Speaker 2: of the feminine sides, like what does that look like
- 17:33Speaker 2: and feel like? And how do you keep that safe
- 17:35Speaker 2: and protected and warm and wanting to be embraced.
- 17:37Speaker 1: I needed to learn those things. I didn't know those things.
- 17:39Speaker 2: Yeah, in the past four years, I had no idea
- 17:42Speaker 2: how to truly make sure that you could live fully
- 17:44Speaker 2: in your feminine.
- 17:45Speaker 1: Now I do, and I'm still learning.
- 17:47Speaker 2: But I also am first off making sure that I
- 17:50Speaker 2: could live comfortably in my masculine and I love it
- 17:53Speaker 2: actually good.
- 17:53Speaker 3: I'm sick of going out with all these princesses. I'm like,
- 17:56Speaker 3: I feel like I'm a man every time I go
- 17:58Speaker 3: out with them.
- 17:59Speaker 2: I'm The problem is there's so many guys that get
- 18:04Speaker 2: it mixed up now though, because now there's the whole
- 18:06Speaker 2: toxic culture of like what it looks like to be masculine.
- 18:09Speaker 2: It has become this toxic masculinity, like this alpha male
- 18:12Speaker 2: where it's like what you want to putting someone down
- 18:14Speaker 2: or degrading someone.
- 18:16Speaker 3: Yeah, that is not it controlling somebody.
- 18:19Speaker 1: That is not what that is supposed to look like.
- 18:21Speaker 2: That's what these dumb asses online try to portray to
- 18:24Speaker 2: get young boys to believe in what that Looked's completely wrong.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's as easy as just knowing this, like
- 18:30Speaker 2: I'm looking out for my partner.
- 18:31Speaker 3: It's repackaged misogyny.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. Absolutely.
- 18:35Speaker 2: So that was one of the things that she brought
- 18:36Speaker 2: up in the car, and I was like, fair point,
- 18:38Speaker 2: I get it. That was not my best when we
- 18:40Speaker 2: first started going on dates.
- 18:41Speaker 3: So would she have wanted you to pay for more things?
- 18:43Speaker 3: Like do you think she felt like the balance was
- 18:46Speaker 3: off there? Like, do you think she wanted you to
- 18:48Speaker 3: take care of her more?
- 18:49Speaker 1: I think I definitely could have.
- 18:50Speaker 2: I don't know if she necessarily wanted it, but I
- 18:53Speaker 2: should have stepped up in much bigger ways, like even
- 18:56Speaker 2: just as in the middle of the relationship, toward the ends,
- 18:59Speaker 2: I definitely took my foot off the gas because I
- 19:01Speaker 2: started to get like slightly even like resentful. Yeah, instead
- 19:04Speaker 2: of being who I want to be as a man
- 19:06Speaker 2: and being like, it is my job to step up
- 19:09Speaker 2: in this area. Step up, don't complain about it, don't
- 19:12Speaker 2: whine about it.
- 19:12Speaker 1: Step up.
- 19:14Speaker 2: I could look back on that now and be like, Okay, yeah,
- 19:16Speaker 2: I miss stepped.
- 19:16Speaker 3: But it was also a sign that the relationship was
- 19:19Speaker 3: needed to come to an end, because if you didn't
- 19:21Speaker 3: have those feelings and you would have just stayed in it.
- 19:22Speaker 1: Correct, Oh, it would have.
- 19:24Speaker 2: There's things were just festering, and now I look back
- 19:26Speaker 2: on them, like that's why, Like even certain things I
- 19:28Speaker 2: could help around the house with or step up with
- 19:30Speaker 2: or make her feel comfortable with, definitely reflected back on
- 19:33Speaker 2: that and like, Yep, that was me not being the
- 19:36Speaker 2: best man that I could be, and I want to
- 19:38Speaker 2: be for my partner, and so for that, I apologize.
- 19:41Speaker 3: So you survived the wedding with your ex.
- 19:42Speaker 2: We did, and we had a great time and it
- 19:44Speaker 2: was very nice. It's so nice because we sit there
- 19:46Speaker 2: and we talked together. It's kind of like when we
- 19:51Speaker 2: were not married, we didn't have kids. But I like
- 19:54Speaker 2: when I see couples that like go through a divorce
- 19:56Speaker 2: but they could still go to functions together and they're
- 19:58Speaker 2: just still friends.
- 19:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:59Speaker 2: It's like, we know, we're not supposed to be romantic
- 20:01Speaker 2: partners together, but we'll still go. Her and I were
- 20:03Speaker 2: talking like a lot of the night, just catching up.
- 20:05Speaker 2: We could go in the same friend group.
- 20:07Speaker 1: I love that. Honestly, I think this wedding brought a
- 20:09Speaker 1: lot of comfort to that.
- 20:10Speaker 3: Okay, well that's good. So maybe you have some good closure.
- 20:12Speaker 2: So much good closure where it's now it's like wow.
- 20:15Speaker 2: Now the next thing is I wonder when you're gonna
- 20:17Speaker 2: meet the person that I'm talking to.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Ah, that will be a whole new situation.
- 20:20Speaker 3: Oh my god, are you nervous about the meeting?
- 20:22Speaker 2: No, because they're both extremely friendly people. I think they'll
- 20:25Speaker 2: get along. I think what's going to happen is like
- 20:27Speaker 2: I'll get just kicked off the side.
- 20:30Speaker 3: Do you think they're gonna besties?
- 20:31Speaker 1: They could be.
- 20:32Speaker 2: I think they'll connect a lot better and it won't
- 20:35Speaker 2: be as awkward as to think it could have been. Okay,
- 20:37Speaker 2: I think it's not something that needs to be besties,
- 20:39Speaker 2: Like they don't need to be, but it'll be nice
- 20:41Speaker 2: if I could bring this person around and we could
- 20:44Speaker 2: go to all these big friendly you know, let's say
- 20:47Speaker 2: if I would have brought them to the wedding, Like
- 20:48Speaker 2: those would be future moments that would be really cool.
- 20:50Speaker 2: If everybody could just get together and there's no weirdness
- 20:53Speaker 2: and they could talk shit about me.
- 20:55Speaker 1: Go ahead, that sounds awesome.
- 20:56Speaker 3: I don't think your a new lady's going to talk
- 20:58Speaker 3: shit about you, not yet, but I'm.
- 20:59Speaker 2: Sure it will come. I'm sure there's a down the line.
- 21:02Speaker 2: Now it's too fresh. I don't know if there's anything
- 21:04Speaker 2: to like spill the tea on yet, but I'm sure
- 21:07Speaker 2: what I've always wondered, and I wanted to ask this
- 21:09Speaker 2: on Instagram, like if you could write a letter to
- 21:11Speaker 2: your ex's new partner, Like, what would you say?
- 21:12Speaker 3: Oh, that's a good question. Yeah, would you write to
- 21:15Speaker 3: your lady's new partner?
- 21:16Speaker 1: That's it? I love it?
- 21:18Speaker 3: Should it be tomorrow's prompt?
- 21:20Speaker 1: Ooh? What would I say? I would have to think.
- 21:22Speaker 3: Your love letter to your to your to your exes.
- 21:25Speaker 2: New lady, because I'm wondering, like what are the things
- 21:27Speaker 2: that they would say? And I think I got this
- 21:29Speaker 2: idea because what is that movie Dear John?
- 21:32Speaker 1: Have you seen that? Yeah?
- 21:33Speaker 2: Isn't that like he writes a letter or like he
- 21:35Speaker 2: dies and he's like, here's the letter for like how
- 21:37Speaker 2: to treat my wife or something like that.
- 21:38Speaker 3: No, I think he's out off that war and she's
- 21:41Speaker 3: writing him letters.
- 21:42Speaker 1: Okay.
- 21:42Speaker 2: Then I missed the concept though, of like let's anyway
- 21:45Speaker 2: die and you write like a letter to your partner's
- 21:47Speaker 2: new person. Yeah, and like what are all the things
- 21:49Speaker 2: that you would want them to know about them.
- 21:51Speaker 3: That's a really good prompt. You have to do that tomorrow.
- 21:53Speaker 1: Okay.
- 21:53Speaker 2: Then I'll sit on that and think on it because
- 21:55Speaker 2: I always wonder, like what she would say to my
- 21:57Speaker 2: new person on me work.
- 22:02Speaker 3: To your new lady.
- 22:04Speaker 1: That feels so awkward. I feel I think she would
- 22:08Speaker 1: be too, But I don't know. We'll see.
- 22:11Speaker 3: I don't think about me about you to your new lady.
- 22:15Speaker 1: Mm let's think. I think there would be a lot
- 22:18Speaker 1: of sweet things that I do. Step up. I'm a
- 22:20Speaker 1: huge help.
- 22:21Speaker 2: I like to support. I also am not huge on
- 22:25Speaker 2: the nightlife stuff. She'd probably say, you know, don't expect
- 22:28Speaker 2: him to want to go out every you know, every weekend.
- 22:31Speaker 1: Uh. He's a great dog dad, that's for sure.
- 22:34Speaker 2: I am. I sing and whistle a lot. I could
- 22:36Speaker 2: be very annoying, that's for sure. I have a lot
- 22:39Speaker 2: of energy. You gotta be able to handle that when
- 22:40Speaker 2: we go out. I have a good family. They're a
- 22:43Speaker 2: lot of fun. We're also weird. I think there'll definitely
- 22:46Speaker 2: be a part in there that's like, you're going to
- 22:49Speaker 2: love his family, but also prepare yourself because if you
- 22:54Speaker 2: think Scott's a bit obnoxious, wait, till you meet his
- 22:58Speaker 2: dad and his brother and they.
- 22:59Speaker 1: All get together. You've been warned.
- 23:02Speaker 2: I think that would be a big part of it, noted,
- 23:04Speaker 2: And now I'm very curious and I want to hear
- 23:06Speaker 2: it from her. And that's why I think I thought
- 23:07Speaker 2: of this because I was like, what should they be
- 23:09Speaker 2: warned about or enlightened about or look forward to. But
- 23:12Speaker 2: then it also kind of felt weird, and I thought
- 23:13Speaker 2: if I posted online, people would just bash their X
- 23:15Speaker 2: be like, well, they don't pick up anything, and they
- 23:17Speaker 2: suck and they can't get a job, and they always
- 23:19Speaker 2: crash the car and they never fill.
- 23:21Speaker 1: Up my gas.
- 23:21Speaker 2: I was like, well that would kind of be funny.
- 23:23Speaker 2: But they also want the sweet moments too. Yeah, Like
- 23:25Speaker 2: it's like respectful. You know, if I was to write
- 23:27Speaker 2: one for her and say, you know, she has a
- 23:30Speaker 2: huge heart, she'll do anything for her friends. She loves
- 23:34Speaker 2: very deeply, Like you always know that you're supported. Yeah,
- 23:37Speaker 2: doesn't really get jealous. You have to make sure that
- 23:41Speaker 2: you're willing to sit and listen, don't give up when
- 23:44Speaker 2: things get quiet.
- 23:45Speaker 3: Well, don't give us all the good stuff.
- 23:47Speaker 1: I got just the thought process there.
- 23:50Speaker 2: I'd be very curious, but also maybe i'd like, should
- 23:53Speaker 2: wait on that one that one might win and wait
- 23:54Speaker 2: for a couple a couple months.
- 23:56Speaker 3: No, it'll be out tomorrow. I chat you bet right,
- 23:59Speaker 3: you got this.
- 24:00Speaker 1: I want to tap into.
- 24:01Speaker 2: On the last podcast, we got to have a celebration
- 24:04Speaker 2: for you, Abby, which is super cool.
- 24:06Speaker 3: Same celebration for me, though, it's a celebration for us.
- 24:08Speaker 2: Hell yeah, Well here's what's exciting though, because we didn't
- 24:11Speaker 2: get to dive into the explanation at the end of
- 24:13Speaker 2: the podcast because we're like, we got a pop champagne.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 24:15Speaker 3: Also like, did you miss Alexia? Alexei has been in
- 24:17Speaker 3: here for like five minutes.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Holy crap. That's scared the crap of me. I was like,
- 24:20Speaker 2: what is moving and we're about to step all over
- 24:22Speaker 2: a show. Great, if you're don't talk about it, get
- 24:24Speaker 2: on the podcast. Alexi just walked in. Okay, here pop
- 24:27Speaker 2: on the mike. Good morning Alexia, come on in there
- 24:29Speaker 2: you go, you can get on that mike. I'll turn
- 24:30Speaker 2: you up. I was gonna just talk about the meaning
- 24:33Speaker 2: of what happened on that last podcast where they came in,
- 24:35Speaker 2: we popped champagne, and we got to announce that it's
- 24:36Speaker 2: now Magic Mornings with Scotty and Appy.
- 24:39Speaker 1: It was a huge moment because that doesn't happen.
- 24:41Speaker 2: We just talked about this in a sales meeting like
- 24:44Speaker 2: thirty minutes ago, where they do not do that in
- 24:46Speaker 2: this industry. They do not just come in and say,
- 24:48Speaker 2: you know what, we're gonna throw your name on. It's
- 24:51Speaker 2: crazy to think that it takes so long to make
- 24:54Speaker 2: the right decision. And I will give credit where credit
- 24:56Speaker 2: is due that they know the talent that you bring
- 24:59Speaker 2: to anywhere that you go, Abby, And I hope you
- 25:01Speaker 2: understand that too, that you're a powerhouse and you're being
- 25:05Speaker 2: seen for that powerhouse things.
- 25:07Speaker 3: Well, it's about Danton.
- 25:08Speaker 1: That's right. Should I like that as you should appreciate that.
- 25:10Speaker 3: Well, it's funny. I think me and you have very
- 25:12Speaker 3: similar stories because I was with this company before I
- 25:15Speaker 3: left for my job in Atlanta, and it's just it's
- 25:19Speaker 3: just crazy sometimes how slow moving things can be. That
- 25:21Speaker 3: it feels weird to me that it's a celebration, Like
- 25:24Speaker 3: when we were talking about it in the sales meeting
- 25:26Speaker 3: that they were like, yeah, Abby's name is going to
- 25:28Speaker 3: be on the morning show. I was like, well, duh,
- 25:31Speaker 3: Like why I was like, this shouldn't be as big.
- 25:33Speaker 3: It shouldn't have to be as big of a deal
- 25:35Speaker 3: as it is, And I'm grateful that they're celebrating it
- 25:38Speaker 3: and they're making a big deal out of it, but ultimately,
- 25:40Speaker 3: I'm like, you believe this is revolutionary the fact that
- 25:43Speaker 3: they're going to add me to a morning show and
- 25:46Speaker 3: they're gonna put my name on it.
- 25:47Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I'm appreciative that one. They've done it so quick.
- 25:50Speaker 2: But also because there's a note in the last podcast
- 25:52Speaker 2: too that are are boss Jena made. It's especially with women,
- 25:56Speaker 2: like there are so many our colleagues that are just
- 25:59Speaker 2: like male dominated show, but they have a powerhouse as
- 26:01Speaker 2: a co host.
- 26:02Speaker 1: Their name's not on the show.
- 26:03Speaker 3: I know. Well, it just happened to I mean kind
- 26:05Speaker 3: of just happened to Kristen from the show I just left.
- 26:09Speaker 3: I mean, she was fully expecting to take over for
- 26:11Speaker 3: Bert when he retired, and you know, she has the
- 26:14Speaker 3: Kristin Show, but they moved her to afternoons, which just
- 26:17Speaker 3: in radio is seen as I mean not that I
- 26:19Speaker 3: think it is, because I think she's still doing incredible
- 26:21Speaker 3: work over there, but mornings is the spot you work
- 26:26Speaker 3: your entire career to get.
- 26:27Speaker 1: To m H and especially when she was doing it
- 26:29Speaker 1: alreadty yes.
- 26:30Speaker 3: And I was like, after so long with that company,
- 26:33Speaker 3: I was just so angry for her, genuinely, so in
- 26:36Speaker 3: that sense, like I'm incredibly grateful that I get to
- 26:38Speaker 3: be on mornings and my name is on it. But
- 26:40Speaker 3: it's also like one of those things where it's.
- 26:42Speaker 1: Like, duh, how it should be.
- 26:43Speaker 3: It should be. It just it's crazy that that has
- 26:46Speaker 3: that we have to celebrate that, and I'm so thankful
- 26:48Speaker 3: that we're celebrating it. I'm so grateful to our leadership
- 26:51Speaker 3: who has been advocating for us and pushing for this.
- 26:55Speaker 3: But yeah, like just just that's just how it should be.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like to make the right move, yeah, and
- 26:59Speaker 2: that's it's like you've made the right move.
- 27:01Speaker 1: Hell yeah. Especially in a big.
- 27:02Speaker 2: Company absolutely, because you get up to like the corporate heads,
- 27:05Speaker 2: like the way up to the top, and sometimes you
- 27:06Speaker 2: feel like they just don't get it and you're like,
- 27:08Speaker 2: how are we not seeing the same thing? Yeah it's cool,
- 27:10Speaker 2: and it's like, okay, cool, we're seeing the same thing.
- 27:12Speaker 3: Yeah. So ultimately, I just want to make sure that
- 27:14Speaker 3: we carry on their expectations because you know, if there's
- 27:17Speaker 3: anybody coming up behind us, I don't want them to
- 27:19Speaker 3: have to wait three years to get their freaking name
- 27:22Speaker 3: on the show. That's crazy to me, you.
- 27:24Speaker 1: Know, absolutely outrageous. But now it looks really good.
- 27:27Speaker 2: So if you are able to hop over to our
- 27:30Speaker 2: My Magic ninety four to nine web page, you'll see
- 27:33Speaker 2: our new logo.
- 27:34Speaker 3: Magic Mornings with Scottie and Abbey.
- 27:37Speaker 2: And now it's taken over. And so now we just
- 27:39Speaker 2: got to keep it going. Now we got to make
- 27:41Speaker 2: some noise, and now we got to make it rain,
- 27:42Speaker 2: give out some cash. And now we also got to
- 27:44Speaker 2: get out of here so Alexia could do her incredible show.
- 27:47Speaker 2: A very exciting week as we get to continue to
- 27:49Speaker 2: grow the show can grow Magic. And also like it's
- 27:52Speaker 2: fun being on this trio because this trio is just
- 27:54Speaker 2: so good.
- 27:55Speaker 1: I know.
- 27:55Speaker 3: I mean, we've got this pool party coming up, seeing
- 27:57Speaker 3: go to Mayo to our first like trio pool party.
- 28:00Speaker 3: I don't know if you're mentally.
- 28:01Speaker 1: Prepared for that. I'm literally not.
- 28:02Speaker 2: Actually, I forget that it's happening. So that's a good
- 28:04Speaker 2: thing that you brought it up. So I want to
- 28:06Speaker 2: keep reminding you. We'll put it in the notes right
- 28:08Speaker 2: now that we do have a massive pool party coming
- 28:10Speaker 2: up in the beginning of May.
- 28:11Speaker 1: I believe it's May third, the third, I'm gonna turn
- 28:16Speaker 1: the leep up.
- 28:16Speaker 2: Sounds incredible, all right, Abby, What is your Instagram at
- 28:20Speaker 2: the b Murphy.
- 28:21Speaker 1: Alexia is about to take over? What's your Instagram? Alexia

- 28:28Speaker 2: appreciate all the support like this has been incredible. And

- 28:35Speaker 2: or you subscribe because now that corporate is looking at
- 28:38Speaker 2: all our numbers because we're bad bees up in this thing. Yeah,
- 28:41Speaker 2: we just want to show off and be like see
- 28:42Speaker 2: told you we're good. Yeah.
- 28:43Speaker 3: If you haven't left a review on Spotify, I think
- 28:46Speaker 3: it's just a star rating. But if you want to
- 28:47Speaker 3: leave something nice on Apple Music and just be like, wow,
- 28:50Speaker 3: this is great.
