- 0:06Dr. Slaton Live: Welcome to the Brains Body podcast.
- 0:09Dr. Slaton Live: And today's focus is on children, youth, young adults, parents and teachers.
- 0:17Dr. Slaton Live: A nd because we're talking about mental health and that's critical space to dialogue through.
- 0:25Dr. Slaton Live: Because we are talking about the brain's body and the learning system that we advocate.
- 0:33Dr. Slaton Live: T o improve sensory-received path functions, because mental illness is a part of every human system, because the brain, the body and the senses can be disorganized by any event or activity that you experience, and we relate these experiences to homeschool, neighborhood, workplace networks, where the actual human contact interaction takes place.
- 1:01Dr. Slaton Live: So, life begins and ends in those four corridors.
- 1:06Dr. Slaton Live: You progress or you regress based upon your experiences in those situations.
- 1:12Dr. Slaton Live: So I'm saying that mental illness is a manifestation of human contact interaction, and so the brain's body, separated to the brain and the body, the brain's body is a way to improve your capacity to understand sensory-received path functions to the point in which you could then begin on your own to develop your intellectual capacity to sense and receive contact, interaction and transfer.
- 1:45Dr. Slaton Live: U nderstanding the choice to do so and with being influenced as you move through the crisis of self to make these choice decisions.
- 1:55Dr. Slaton Live: And the reason why it's relative is because the earlier we begin to have these discussions about the brain and the body, the sooner we can teach people how not to act out of control, because when they do, they're actually damaging their processing faculties.
- 2:13Dr. Slaton Live: Because when you act out, you are marking your sense and receive path with acts of aggression.
- 2:21Dr. Slaton Live: And if you do not understand the brain and the body, that's why the brain has to be an elite of the body, because you have to have the brain establishing the discipline which is control over the body.
- 2:32Dr. Slaton Live: So, when you act out, you have a sense and receive path that's been prepared to recover.
- 2:40Dr. Slaton Live: See, so that you don't go too far.
- 2:44Dr. Slaton Live: You don't want to go far anyway.
- 2:46Dr. Slaton Live: But we're talking about is being able to receive information, because that's what the brain, body is all about.
- 2:51Dr. Slaton Live: How do you improve your ability to sense and receive information, even when you're impacted by emotion, even when you appear to be caught up in your thinking and, more importantly, even when you can't seem to stop reflecting on what happened to you?
- 3:10Dr. Slaton Live: We're talking about mental illness, mental health, time of health and wellness.
- 3:15Dr. Slaton Live: We're talking about a pathway to establishing some terms that you control, that you work through, and so today's discussion covers those areas.
- 3:27Sandra: Now I'm going to turn it over to Sandra.
- 3:30Sandra: Welcome to the Brain's Body podcast, hosted by Dr Christopher K Slaton, Human Learning Consultant, Progressive Investing Institute of Focused Learning.
- 3:42Sandra: Author of Education and Science.
- 3:45Sandra: The Brain's Body Help to Improve Brain, Body and Sense Events.
- 3:50Sandra: Today's discussion focuses on the brain's body as a knowledge base for advancing human intelligence.
- 3:57Sandra: Human intelligence, the capacity to sense and receive feelings, to become more informed through the creation of a knowledge base that advances the ability to live through emotion, through thought, think through reflection and respond to the interplay between forward and backward feed.
- 4:12Sandra: Backward feed, social cognitive path.
- 4:16Sandra: Respond to the interplay between forward and backward feed, moving through sense and receive path functions, energy, action and feelings form the capacity to inform your sense of feel for self and the brain marks the creation of a complex knowledge base through the brain's ability to control the body as a product of intellect, forward feed, neural processing, as a sign of discipline.
- 4:44Sandra: The experience of emotion is received through logic and reason, which induces thought and reflection, as neural energy, action and feelings to respond to spent backward feed and new forward feed, depending on levels of choice and decision making, or sense and receive path functioning, acquired, complex physiological and neural processing takes place.
- 5:06Sandra: The brain's body is a learning system to help improve the human capacity to apply knowledge to the experience of self brain, body and senses Human intelligence, human intelligence, not artificial intelligence.
- 5:23Dr. Slaton Live: So, when you go back and you look at the previous episodes, I've been leading up to this discussion Because you want to know why you practice progressive investing.
- 5:33Dr. Slaton Live: Because when your sense path is damaged, you have to have a built-in motivation, and the motivation is to live each day to become more informed on what it takes for you to move through your own sense of feel for self.
- 5:54Dr. Slaton Live: Because you got to lift you out of the crises, you got to raise yourself above in order to send the proper information to someone that you're working with who happens to be moving through the crises.
- 6:08Dr. Slaton Live: So you want to live every day to become more informed, which is intellectual development of what your sense and receive path functions.
- 6:17Dr. Slaton Live: So, even when you're moving through emotion, you have prepared your sense and receive path right.
- 6:24Dr. Slaton Live: You're forward and backward feet systems to respond.
- 6:30Dr. Slaton Live: So even if you get caught off guard, your brain is already loaded with the knowledge base that equips you with the capacity to respond.
- 6:41Dr. Slaton Live: That's what we're talking about, right?
- 6:44Dr. Slaton Live: So, we talk about human intelligence.
- 6:46Dr. Slaton Live: You know we're talking about capacity versus ability.
- 6:49Dr. Slaton Live: We're not looking at capacity.
- 6:51Dr. Slaton Live: I'm talking about the mental.
- 6:52Dr. Slaton Live: When I look at the ability, I'm talking about the physical right, the physical skill, okay, or the neurological skills.
- 7:01Dr. Slaton Live: Those are the two functions of the sense and receive path that I really focus upon.
- 7:06Dr. Slaton Live: Because we're going to change a negative behavior of feelings that evoke the worst of us and we're going to begin to reduce that effect through the influences of the brain's body, then we have to lay down that foundation.
- 7:26Dr. Slaton Live: That's just natural.
- 7:28Dr. Slaton Live: And it's natural for you to understand that when you sense and you receive contact through an awareness of the roles and functions of the brain, and that your sense and receive path functions are receptors and transmitters for the brain.
- 7:46Dr. Slaton Live: So you don't have to worry about being afraid of being changed.
- 7:51Dr. Slaton Live: You must be changed because you are a neurophysical entity.
- 8:00Dr. Slaton Live: What I'm saying is you're comprised of a sense of feel for self.
- 8:03Dr. Slaton Live: Brain, body sense events, right, that move you to become and evolve as a human being.
- 8:12Dr. Slaton Live: Right, because that neural part of you is what was always there at the inception of you, inception of you.
- 8:22Dr. Slaton Live: And it's difficult for that brain chemistry to evolve where the body is advancing physically at a higher rate than the chemical, the chemical things that produced its physics, which is you.
- 8:44Dr. Slaton Live: That's complex, right, and that's what I just now said when I said complex physiological and neural processing that takes place.
- 8:55Dr. Slaton Live: Your brain has to catch up with your body.
- 8:58Dr. Slaton Live: But in the meantime, you got to realize you have to control the body, and you control the body by believing that that's a property of the brain, right?
- 9:08Dr. Slaton Live: Just to explain it to you, the brain was being created first.
- 9:13Dr. Slaton Live: The physics of the body protects the brain, okay?
- 9:18Dr. Slaton Live: So what I'm saying is I want you to relax and begin to understand what we're really talking about.
- 9:23Dr. Slaton Live: When I talk about the brain's body, I'm saying the brain has to be in the lead, and that's how you begin to change sense, receive path, choice and decision making Is when you realize that in the forefront, you got a sense and feel the activity of your brain, which is, in terms of words, self-control, discipline.
- 9:46Dr. Slaton Live: You can lead the body as a self-containing organ.
- 9:50Dr. Slaton Live: So, discipline is physical, that's okay, but what makes a neural is the brain, because the brain is sending information that allows you to focus from the inside out, right?
- 10:03Dr. Slaton Live: So, we're talking about mental wellness.
- 10:05Dr. Slaton Live: We're talking about how do I meditate while, at the same time, engage, be engaged through these emotional feelings, these thoughts that are stored in my memory bank, that impact me because of what happened, the influence of the brain's body as a learning system is like okay, your sense path is damaged.
- 10:30Dr. Slaton Live: How do you heal it?
- 10:31Dr. Slaton Live: You heal it with new information, that forward feed, when you send it all the way through your sense and receive path functions and trust your brain to send that new forward feed of energy, action and feelings Right, which combats, negates and defeats the negative influences are impacting your sense and receive path abilities.
- 10:54Dr. Slaton Live: That is limiting your ability to interact with other people comfortably because of what happened.
- 11:03Dr. Slaton Live: B efore, doing of after.
- 11:05Dr. Slaton Live: I do a lot of that.
- 11:07Dr. Slaton Live: Why?
- 11:08Dr. Slaton Live: Because my work is involving in substance related disorders Okay, child related disorders.
- 11:16Dr. Slaton Live: We're still talking about substance abuse and what we're talking about now is moving it to a more plain discussion, because I'm saying to you, the words that you utilize can also be interpreted as environmental factors that contribute to ill health.
- 11:36Dr. Slaton Live: For example, when you refuse to communicate with another person, you're not going to be able to communicate with another person.
- 11:44Dr. Slaton Live: Utilizing clear, clean language and instead chooses to be derogatory, you're impacting your sense path and attempts to impact their received path.
- 11:57Dr. Slaton Live: At the same time, if you don't get what you were looking for, where are you at?
- 12:02Dr. Slaton Live: You are still confused because you were motivated to send negative energy, energy across that communication pathway and influence the other person.
- 12:17Dr. Slaton Live: Now, when it didn't happen, where are you at?
- 12:19Dr. Slaton Live: We're talking about mental health.
- 12:21Dr. Slaton Live: We're talking about how to recover from damage since received path functions.
- 12:24Dr. Slaton Live: When this is happening and people are doing it to each other and we're still trying to figure out how to stop the pain from spreading, the hurt from spreading, and what I'm saying to you, it takes you sitting down and beginning to understand these words.
- 12:41Dr. Slaton Live: My brain's, body has to be in the lead of my sense of feel for self so that I can display control and discipline, control and discipline, control the body, discipline, focus, the senses, right.
- 13:02Dr. Slaton Live: So everything you're reading now supports the position of the brain.
- 13:06Dr. Slaton Live: So now the brains in the lead of the body, and that's very significant because that takes a lot of work, very complex, because everything you experience socially has to be controlled and everything you're experiencing neurologically right has to be focused.
- 13:26Dr. Slaton Live: You see, so that each stage, each level because we're going through levels, contact, interaction, you have to learn how to cooperate.
- 13:37Dr. Slaton Live: That's that choice, that's what the sense of receive path is.
- 13:39Dr. Slaton Live: It's a choice decision making box.
- 13:41Dr. Slaton Live: So, when you choose to make that contact with the intent to interact the brains and the lead of the body, and then the choice is easier to make because now you already motivated to inform self in the brain on what the next step should be.
- 13:57Dr. Slaton Live: Now you're in the lead at next step.
- 13:59Dr. Slaton Live: But that's what we're talking about, and your feedback is coming, so you'll know whether or not you made the proper choice and decision, just like that, because it happens like that.
- 14:12Dr. Slaton Live: So, this is Dr Slaton again.
- 14:13Dr. Slaton Live: What we're talking about is healing, sense the receive path functions that have been damaged and that you may not even be aware of it, because so many people think it's normal to hate, is normal to be mean, ugly, self centered, unfocused I mean just damaging to self and others.
- 14:36Dr. Slaton Live: When you stop and look at it, square in the face, man, that doesn't feel right, you're absolutely right, but how do you feel when it's coming out of you?
- 14:46Dr. Slaton Live: So, we're talking about is this human intelligence?
- 14:50Dr. Slaton Live: Because if you understand what I'm saying.
- 14:53Dr. Slaton Live: Let's give it to you again the capacity to sense and receive feelings, to become more informed through the creation of a knowledge base that advances the ability to live, the ability to live and, if that's the case, look at the sequential words the ability to live, the skill to live, the skill to learn, the skill to think, the skill to respond.
- 15:19Dr. Slaton Live: And that's why we do it, because that is a process cycle of learning.
- 15:25Dr. Slaton Live: The brain that's the brain does, from the beginning of inception, live to learn, to think, to respond.
- 15:33Dr. Slaton Live: And that's what you're chasing all the way through grade school to college, to adulthood your capacity to respond Through thinking, learning, living while feeling, not being afraid of the action, not being afraid of the energy, the blood flow, not being afraid of any of those things is what we're talking about.
- 15:59Dr. Slaton Live: So when I talk about neuro physics, I'm talking about the brain's body, the sense of feel for self, the brain and the body informing as an information processing system, because that's where we are, the information processing systems.
- 16:19Dr. Slaton Live: So when I talk about mental health, you, you measured yourself.
- 16:22Dr. Slaton Live: How well are you processing the information?
- 16:25Dr. Slaton Live: How do you think we have some children who are able to graduate from school by age 14?
- 16:31Dr. Slaton Live: Because their social cognitive sense path is structured in line with the neural processing path of the received path and they're able to process more information through emotion, thought and reflection is being structured through the practice of learning from the brain's body, the brain and the leader of the body, because the brain's in the body and you're nurturing the brain, even though you look at the body and you're saying the brain must evolve at a much quicker pace sociologically so that you can examine the results, the effects, the outputs and then begin to understand, because you have evidence of its value, or what it's doing with the child on the inside Right.
- 17:27Dr. Slaton Live: So I'm talking about physical right and cognitive growth, right.
- 17:34Dr. Slaton Live: Human intelligence in a world that's being dominated now by artificial intelligence.
- 17:40Dr. Slaton Live: But I'm saying this to say because when your sense path is damaged, you got to get back in the game, because the game has passing you by and I said artificial intelligence is now removing us from the workplace.
- 17:53Dr. Slaton Live: So, what I'm saying to you is very simple.
- 17:57Dr. Slaton Live: You have a built-in human intellectual capacity to begin to work and develop your sense of feel for self and the brain, and that is human intelligence.
- 18:13Dr. Slaton Live: And the key to it is go back to the base, to sense, to feel, to focus what Brain, body and sense events.
- 18:23Dr. Slaton Live: Why?
- 18:24Dr. Slaton Live: Because that's the physiological aspects of the brain's body and you then begin to understand the language behind what it is you're becoming.
- 18:38Dr. Slaton Live: We don't define that for you.
- 18:40Dr. Slaton Live: A sense of feel for self is not an identity question, it's.
- 18:46Dr. Slaton Live: What are you becoming as this information moves through you, right?
- 18:51Dr. Slaton Live: So we go back to that 14-year-old girl who recently graduated and is in college and I'm saying to you, from my opinion, she was an advanced human system because of the nurturing that she required, that centered on growing the brain in relation to the body, so that decisions and choices she was making advanced her capacity to sense and receive feelings, neurosignals add a much faster rate than anyone else in her environment.
- 19:34Dr. Slaton Live: That she had to be moved out of environments to hire learning environments not based on age but based on intellect, the development of a knowledge base that allowed her to respond to contact, interaction, cooperation and participation at higher levels of anyone else around her.
- 19:56Dr. Slaton Live: That qualified her performance.
- 19:59Dr. Slaton Live: And that's what we're talking about, see, because I've had children who have come through my system and have advanced.
- 20:10Dr. Slaton Live: But look how the brain works.
- 20:11Dr. Slaton Live: The brain just doesn't do it like that.
- 20:13Dr. Slaton Live: The brain is like we've always said, it's like a sponge.
- 20:17Dr. Slaton Live: But once it's introduced and you reach that level I'm talking about, you go through the sense, receive information, transfer, experience, knowledge right, searching for comprehension as you begin to comprehend the effect.
- 20:36Dr. Slaton Live: That's the reflective capacity that allows you to advance and catch up.
- 20:43Dr. Slaton Live: Why?
- 20:45Dr. Slaton Live: Because now your sense receive, paths are open.
- 20:47Dr. Slaton Live: You're not dummying down.
- 20:48Dr. Slaton Live: You don't lose what happened.
- 20:51Dr. Slaton Live: You improve your ability to understand how you live, learn, think and respond in the situations that you've been in, and then the motivation: live each day to become more informed; on what it takes to become who and what you are.
- 21:08Dr. Slaton Live: So we don't define that for is still based on your experiences.
- 21:14Dr. Slaton Live: But it's not about getting caught up in your personality, your attitude, your character or your behavior.
- 21:20Dr. Slaton Live: It's about understanding those things.
- 21:22Dr. Slaton Live: Take care as sub factors, sub factors of you understanding your role within a sense of feel for self in the brain, because you still have to choose to be a good person, you just have to decide to sustain that positive energy that allows you to move through contact to interaction at higher levels or frequency than other people around you dealing with similar situations.
- 21:51Dr. Slaton Live: Right, and they say that's that something has to be already inside of you.
- 21:57Dr. Slaton Live: I'm telling you that, in my opinion, that's your sense of feel for self and you catch it, you hold it, you nurture it.
- 22:05Dr. Slaton Live: And what are you nurturing the brain's body?
- 22:08Dr. Slaton Live: Why?
- 22:09Dr. Slaton Live: Because you have to realize that the brain has to be in a lead your choice in decision making and then the consequences.
- 22:17Dr. Slaton Live: This is the measurement, because if you have mental health issues, you won't understand the consequences, but if the brain is functioning, when you say, the brains in the lead, when you reflect, all the consequences are involved in the reflection.
- 22:30Dr. Slaton Live: So you advance your intellectual capacity to move through the crisis, because now you're able to understand what you did wrong and you're doing everything you can to become more informed, to move beyond that anxiety, beyond that hurt, that anger.
- 22:48Dr. Slaton Live: Right, and what are you doing?
- 22:50Dr. Slaton Live: Because what I'm saying to you is emotion, thought, reflection are natural products of the brain.
- 22:56Dr. Slaton Live: That's why the brain has the capacity and with you your sense of feel for self, let me say it that way the capacity to send that forward feed right Through the social cognitive path where, externally, motion, thought, reflection is another person's attempt to influence your sense and receive path gets defeated because that new energy is moving with the awareness of what's happening in the sense path with.
- 23:30Dr. Slaton Live: The conflicts are between emotion, thought, right, and so that new energy is supposed to balance that out, not to balance it out.
- 23:38Dr. Slaton Live: Reason right, logic and reason structure it out so that when you respond, you respond to a preferred response which has been processed neuro logically, not externally, based upon what you see, but what you've actually processed.
- 24:00Dr. Slaton Live: Okay, this is Dr.
- 24:01Dr. Slaton Live: Slaton Live, and this is how I talk to the brain.
- 24:04Dr. Slaton Live: And talk to the brain is very, very significant for me, because what I'm talking about is healing time, and healing time means more than just trying to act like a coach.
- 24:18Dr. Slaton Live: It means more than just trying to just, you know, blow smoke.
- 24:23Dr. Slaton Live: Healing time means what are you really saying?
- 24:27Dr. Slaton Live: And are you saying in such a way that a person is being influenced by negative flows of energy, action and feeling can revitalize their sense of feel for self long enough to experience those words?
- 24:43Dr. Slaton Live: That's the question that you have to answer, see, but I'm going to keep coming because that's what we do here, that's what we do at the brains body podcast.
- 24:56Dr. Slaton Live: Here we work hard because we want you to do subscribe, and when you subscribe, we go to a whole.
- 25:03Dr. Slaton Live: No, wait a minute, we go to a whole.
- 25:07Dr. Slaton Live: Nother level, because it's levels to this, as I'm showing you in every episode Metaphysics, that's another aspect of change versus unchangeable variables.
- 25:20Dr. Slaton Live: That deals with the human system, because when you kind of in a behavior pattern you may not be able to change based upon the depths Between being healthy and unhealthy mentally and physically.
- 25:40Dr. Slaton Live: Okay, so what we're talking about is how do you find that way of understanding self, because that's what we talk about.
- 25:50Dr. Slaton Live: Self has the help.
- 25:50Dr. Slaton Live: Three things, and I'm closing.
- 25:53Dr. Slaton Live: Self research got me here.
- 25:56Dr. Slaton Live: Self discovery lifted me through the discovery of human system science, and then self help helped me balance myself out, because when you're becoming something that you didn't understand, right, you can be all over the place, but self help helped me narrow it down and understand what was happening inside of me as I began to balance these things out.
- 26:24Dr. Slaton Live: Okay, and so this is what we're talking about Human system science, human system research sense and received path functioning through the study of human responses to contact, interaction, cooperation and participation, and then the performance.
- 26:47Dr. Slaton Live: That's all I've been saying to you in this session, so I want to let you know this is Dr Slaton Live.
- 26:52Dr. Slaton Live: I want to thank you for coming along with me.
- 26:55Dr. Slaton Live: We're going to keep coming.
- 26:56Dr. Slaton Live: We're going to keep coming.
- 26:57Dr. Slaton Live: If you have the opportunity to subscribe, do so so we can keep coming at a higher and higher level.
- 27:03Dr. Slaton Live: You get individualized sessions.
- 27:05Dr. Slaton Live: You can also get shout outs directly from Dr Slaton Live, so please give us some participation.
- 27:13Dr. Slaton Live: Have a good evening.
- 27:15Dr. Slaton Live: but know, we are here to help.
- 27:16Dr. Slaton Live: Dr.
- 27:17Dr. Slaton Live: Slaton Live.
