- 0:04Speaker 1: It's a podcast called twenty fives stuck and they went
- 0:09Speaker 1: a whizz.
- 0:10Speaker 2: So, yeah, it's too bad, But what did you expect.
- 0:13Speaker 3: It's a podcast called twenty five wits Souls.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Oh thank you, Hey, Brandon, you knew I didn't meet
- 0:23Speaker 2: Bill Cosby, right, I did, Yes, Okay, I didn't know
- 0:26Speaker 2: if you knew.
- 0:28Speaker 4: Yeah, the dude, I will say your AI skills on
- 0:31Speaker 4: that second Ditty picture you said, I was like, oh,
- 0:34Speaker 4: so you do know the second Didy picture.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Ken, There's a picture of Diddy and I together at
- 0:44Speaker 2: the iHeartRadio Music Festival, way before Diddy was the Diddy,
- 0:49Speaker 2: I mean the bad Duddy, and I think I might
- 0:52Speaker 2: have interviewed him. I don't remember the interview. I don't
- 0:55Speaker 2: remember the picture. But there is a picture of us.
- 0:59Speaker 2: This is literally picture. Oh wow, I mean we're together.
- 1:04Speaker 3: Yeah, but look how young you are in that picture.
- 1:07Speaker 3: That was a long time ago, for.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Sure, ten years ago, for sure.
- 1:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:10Speaker 2: So I made a joke to Brandon. I said, we
- 1:13Speaker 2: put this as a cover to one of the videos
- 1:15Speaker 2: we were doing, and he goes, ha ha, and then
- 1:17Speaker 2: I said, in the next day, we went to the
- 1:19Speaker 2: White Party, and it was a picture of us in
- 1:21Speaker 2: all white. I want to Diddy's white party.
- 1:23Speaker 4: And now that I look at it now like bigger,
- 1:25Speaker 4: Like I just had it on my phone, I was
- 1:27Speaker 4: like probably chasing my kid around.
- 1:28Speaker 5: Him, like oh oh my, oh my god.
- 1:30Speaker 2: What And I was like, he has a water in
- 1:33Speaker 2: but you believed it for a second. Okay, good, good,
- 1:35Speaker 2: because I'm gonna tell you what happened. Then I just
- 1:37Speaker 2: want to make sure that he no longer believed it.
- 1:39Speaker 2: So at first I posted this picture of us as
- 1:41Speaker 2: a white party, okay, And then I did one where
- 1:44Speaker 2: Diddy had a glass of champagne had a water because
- 1:48Speaker 2: I want to I don't drink, so so it looks legit.
- 1:50Speaker 2: And did he smiling in that picture? Yeah?
- 1:52Speaker 6: As always?
- 1:53Speaker 2: And Brandon was like wow really I was like, yeah,
- 1:55Speaker 2: I said, was he's actually nice? Said I met and
- 1:57Speaker 2: I met Bill Cosby there and Brandon was like what
- 2:00Speaker 2: it's like, yeah, never, never in it did I say
- 2:06Speaker 2: that that wasn't true. And then I started thinking maybe
- 2:08Speaker 2: he believed it, and so I think he did in
- 2:10Speaker 2: the moment. But when did you know I was kidding?
- 2:12Speaker 7: Uh?
- 2:14Speaker 4: I mean surely, I was like, because because we changed
- 2:17Speaker 4: the subject, I was sending you links to like the
- 2:21Speaker 4: studio pics that we took here, and then I caught
- 2:24Speaker 4: the part of the show them and I was like, yeah, like.
- 2:30Speaker 2: He didn't go on, I didn't go to a Diddy
- 2:32Speaker 2: Why party, I didn't meet both cosby that's good.
- 2:35Speaker 6: Yeah, for the record, yes, but you do have a
- 2:39Speaker 6: picture from way back in the day at the iHeart Festival.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Brandon also texted me. He goes, hey, I got a source,
- 2:46Speaker 2: And I said about what can I say? Yeah, go ahead,
- 2:50Speaker 2: he said, you can say it if you want. It's
- 2:52Speaker 2: not really my job to say because no one's going
- 2:54Speaker 2: to care if I say it. So he's like, Aaron
- 2:56Speaker 2: Donald's for sure back with the rams.
- 2:58Speaker 3: Okay. Oh, now I'm curious how he knows this.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Now than I am. Actually, Yeah, and you know, you
- 3:08Speaker 2: never should reveal your sources unless you want to.
- 3:11Speaker 4: I mean, I'm not at liberty to say exactly who
- 3:13Speaker 4: it is. Okay, but I have a friend who's a
- 3:17Speaker 4: friend with one of his assistants.
- 3:21Speaker 2: You have a friend that's a friend with one of
- 3:23Speaker 2: Aaron Donald's assistants.
- 3:24Speaker 4: Yes, And he said, I'm not going to say he
- 3:27Speaker 4: I'm not going to say good. I'm just gonna say
- 3:29Speaker 4: they so yeah, they just said hey, like, yeah, it's on.
- 3:35Speaker 4: It's on like donkey Kong. This is a direct text message.
- 3:38Speaker 6: It's on, like don kill. That's what they say. Said that.
- 3:41Speaker 3: I'm surprised that a conversation between the assistant and Brandon's
- 3:47Speaker 3: friend would be so free, like let me just tell
- 3:51Speaker 3: you a little secret here, and knowing that Brandon's friend's
- 3:55Speaker 3: gonna tell Brandon.
- 3:56Speaker 6: But it's a friend's friend, right, we're two friends away from.
- 3:59Speaker 3: We're two friends.
- 3:59Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's all.
- 4:00Speaker 6: That's a long way down the line. You think, like
- 4:02Speaker 6: anything got mixed in the.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Yeah, was Bill Cosby there?
- 4:09Speaker 5: So? So Bill was? He was on the text chain
- 4:11Speaker 5: to night.
- 4:12Speaker 2: So you're saying from your sources, Aaron Donalds for sure
- 4:15Speaker 2: coming back to the rams.
- 4:16Speaker 5: I feel like Adam Schefter right now.
- 4:20Speaker 4: I have to say that Donald Trump, that was.
- 4:24Speaker 3: Donald Trump, that was not che I get him mixed up.
- 4:28Speaker 5: I get him mixed up. But yeah, it's it's on,
- 4:31Speaker 5: like Donkey Kong.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Kevin's wearing full leg wrap and he's on crutches today.
- 4:37Speaker 6: Yeah, not fun man.
- 4:38Speaker 2: So you went in for your surgery on Friday Friday, Yeah,
- 4:42Speaker 2: Friday afternoon when you went in you didn't know how
- 4:44Speaker 2: bad it was.
- 4:45Speaker 6: No, I didn't know. I knew it was gonna There
- 4:47Speaker 6: was three levels do it. Level one was the best, Oh,
- 4:50Speaker 6: just a little clean up. You'll be walking in a
- 4:51Speaker 6: couple of days. That obviously didn't happen. Two was you'll
- 4:54Speaker 6: be on crutches for two to four weeks. Three is
- 4:57Speaker 6: total take it all out replacement basically of your meniscus,
- 5:01Speaker 6: and you're on crutches for like four to six weeks.
- 5:04Speaker 5: So where are you?
- 5:05Speaker 2: Number one?
- 5:05Speaker 6: So I'm in the middle. Okay, they say crutches for
- 5:09Speaker 6: likely four weeks. He was able to repair, not replace,
- 5:14Speaker 6: is what he did to my knee, so he did
- 5:15Speaker 6: not take all of it out, so the arthritis won't
- 5:18Speaker 6: happen at as an early age as I thought, or
- 5:21Speaker 6: it could have been, I guess. And it's a yeah.
- 5:24Speaker 6: Level two, So crutches, he said for up to four weeks.
- 5:26Speaker 6: My goal is to get off of them in three
- 5:27Speaker 6: weeks because I hate these things so much. And I
- 5:30Speaker 6: start physical therapy this Thursday, and now I want they get
- 5:33Speaker 6: to go to that once a week, hopefully start putting
- 5:36Speaker 6: weight on it next week and gradually work my way
- 5:39Speaker 6: out of it. This sucks though.
- 5:41Speaker 2: I posted a picture of Kevin in the room and
- 5:43Speaker 2: I said, good luck on wain or surgery. Yeah you
- 5:45Speaker 2: see that so funny today no Friday or Saturday.
- 5:50Speaker 6: Yeah, day is a surgery. I got a lot of
- 5:51Speaker 6: replies on that one.
- 5:53Speaker 2: So in the hospital man, I just screenshot his and
- 5:57Speaker 2: then turned off his name on top of the loot
- 5:59Speaker 2: and I said good luck because he wants to be
- 6:01Speaker 2: on socials, so he does. I did good luck kick
- 6:04Speaker 2: off Kevin on your Waier search. I thought it was
- 6:09Speaker 2: funny too, but I got so many people going, shouldnt
- 6:11Speaker 2: joke about winio surgery. He's like, oh, but if that
- 6:14Speaker 2: were the case, you can't joke about anything.
- 6:16Speaker 3: You got a joke about stuff, yes.
- 6:19Speaker 2: And so but then some people thought it was funny.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Then some people were like what happened to with Wiener?
- 6:22Speaker 5: Oh no, yeah? Yeah.
- 6:24Speaker 6: Some people were like are you downsizing? And what's going on?
- 6:26Speaker 3: I was like.
- 6:29Speaker 6: All right, I was like, just one set of twins
- 6:31Speaker 6: and all we can handle.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Guys, Come on, what's the last thing you remember?
- 6:36Speaker 6: They were asking what I did for work and so
- 6:40Speaker 6: you were laying down, yeah, and like usually you know,
- 6:42Speaker 6: people say, oh they make account from ten to one
- 6:44Speaker 6: or whatever. They didn't do any of that, and then
- 6:46Speaker 6: they laid me on the bed and like, oh, here's
- 6:47Speaker 6: just some oxygen to help you, like get breathing better.
- 6:49Speaker 6: I'm like all right, and I'm like, what do you
- 6:50Speaker 6: do for work? And I was like, oh, you know,
- 6:51Speaker 6: I working for Ihart.
- 6:53Speaker 2: I worked for a guy Bobby Bones like.
- 6:55Speaker 6: Oh cool, Like who's the coolest person you have on
- 6:57Speaker 6: your phone? Is what they asked me and from our
- 7:00Speaker 6: time probably not the same number with three years ago,
- 7:02Speaker 6: and went the stone Cold house. I was like stone Cold,
- 7:04Speaker 6: Steve Awston, Oh yeah, cool, cause I was like they're like,
- 7:06Speaker 6: oh that's awesome, Like who else? And then that's the
- 7:09Speaker 6: last thing you remember, like they were just having a conversation.
- 7:11Speaker 6: And next day I know I was out, like.
- 7:13Speaker 3: You said something to.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Whomever it was. Now has Stone Cold's number for sure,
- 7:18Speaker 2: you know that I got it from him. The other
- 7:21Speaker 2: thing I have here is I saw a guy that
- 7:23Speaker 2: lost his fantasy football league, last place in his league,
- 7:26Speaker 2: and his punishment was he had to go and play
- 7:29Speaker 2: around of golf with strangers sign not be a single,
- 7:32Speaker 2: but he had to play the entire round and not
- 7:34Speaker 2: mention it. But with no ballude, So he just had
- 7:39Speaker 2: to go and then and then go get the cart
- 7:42Speaker 2: drive to his ball. There's no ball play the whole eighteen.
- 7:45Speaker 3: Old they probably thought he was crazy.
- 7:47Speaker 2: He could never address as to why he was doing it,
- 7:51Speaker 2: or even that he was doing it. He had to
- 7:53Speaker 2: remain serious the whole time. Tell me down, funny, that's funny.
- 7:58Speaker 2: And are you are you also hitting in the fairway
- 8:00Speaker 2: every time?
- 8:01Speaker 1: Like?
- 8:01Speaker 3: Or are you like?
- 8:02Speaker 2: Oh?
- 8:02Speaker 3: And I gotta look for my ball, you know.
- 8:03Speaker 2: I think I'm trying to get out of there as
- 8:05Speaker 2: as possible. I think they're all down in the and
- 8:08Speaker 2: you know what, they're nowhere near what the other guys
- 8:09Speaker 2: are because I don't want to.
- 8:10Speaker 5: Have to talk to them.
- 8:11Speaker 2: Yeah, you gotta putt your one putton every year.
- 8:15Speaker 3: Yes, made it, Yes.
- 8:17Speaker 6: Go down on the whole pick of your nothing.
- 8:19Speaker 2: But at some point those guys got to know something's
- 8:23Speaker 2: up right, yeah, or you're just insane.
- 8:26Speaker 3: Yeah, he's not right, Mike, guys.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Screenshot of this image Mike does a podcast called Movie
- 8:33Speaker 2: Mike's Movie Podcast, and a screenshot of an image of
- 8:36Speaker 2: the summer of nineteen eighty four and all the movies
- 8:37Speaker 2: that came out. Have you seen this at all, go viral.
- 8:40Speaker 7: I have not know.
- 8:41Speaker 2: So the summer of nineteen eighty four, you're talking about May, June, July,
- 8:44Speaker 2: and August. This is four months only. I've got some
- 8:46Speaker 2: good stuff in there in only four months. And this
- 8:49Speaker 2: isn't all. I'm just gonna read you the movies. But
- 8:51Speaker 2: even I would know. Within the four months, sixteen Candles
- 8:56Speaker 2: and the first week of May, the Natural, the second
- 8:59Speaker 2: week Indiana Jones. The third week that's the Temple of Doom.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Something called fire Starter. The fourth week I don't know
- 9:06Speaker 2: what that is.
- 9:06Speaker 3: That's Drew Barrymore. She can start fires with her minds.
- 9:09Speaker 5: Big horror movie.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Oh so you guys know that one.
- 9:11Speaker 5: Stephen King, I don't know that one.
- 9:12Speaker 3: I think Steven, that's a good one.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Okay. So that's every week for the Monte May.
- 9:15Speaker 3: Okay.
- 9:16Speaker 2: Now we go to June Star Trek three to search
- 9:19Speaker 2: for Spock is week one, Week two Ghostbusters, and one
- 9:25Speaker 2: week three The Karate Kid.
- 9:28Speaker 3: Such a good movie.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Week four Conan the Destroyer and Grimlins.
- 9:33Speaker 3: So Conan was Arnold right.
- 9:36Speaker 2: And then there's a movie called Once Upon a Time
- 9:37Speaker 2: in America. I don't know what that is.
- 9:39Speaker 6: I don't know if you guys did.
- 9:41Speaker 2: But again, you have four five bangers in four weeks
- 9:46Speaker 2: in June. So you got four in May, you got
- 9:49Speaker 2: five in June. Let's go to July. Maybe this movie
- 9:53Speaker 2: was big. The Last star Fighter.
- 9:55Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, it's kind of a like is it Aliens?
- 10:00Speaker 2: But you know that one?
- 10:01Speaker 3: Yeah, I remember watching it.
- 10:02Speaker 2: Okay, these are the other four. That same week, the
- 10:05Speaker 2: Never Ending Story came.
- 10:06Speaker 3: Out, huge, huge movie.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Is that the one with the big floppy dog ears?
- 10:10Speaker 3: Yes, the big thing, he writes, Even, I.
- 10:13Speaker 2: Think I've seen that one also, So that's week one,
- 10:16Speaker 2: Week two, The Muppets take Manhattan, Yes, straight one. Week three,
- 10:20Speaker 2: Purple Rain.
- 10:22Speaker 3: I've never seen that one.
- 10:24Speaker 6: I have you have?
- 10:25Speaker 3: Yeah? I guess they're a good movie. Obviously. The song
- 10:27Speaker 3: is awesome.
- 10:28Speaker 6: His prints in it.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Yeah, it's about Prince. Yeah. Uh, I don't know. It's
- 10:33Speaker 2: been a long time. Same and Revenge of the Nerds.
- 10:37Speaker 2: Oh yeah, July August. Okay, this one, I've heard of it,
- 10:42Speaker 2: but I don't know it. Red Dawn, oh.
- 10:43Speaker 3: Dude, Red Don is amazing. It's an amazing movie. They
- 10:47Speaker 3: even try to remake it, but they didn't come close.
- 10:50Speaker 3: So it's about the Soviets attacking America and who's to
- 10:57Speaker 3: stop them? A group of high school students in one
- 11:00Speaker 3: school and they go off from the mountains. Man they
- 11:03Speaker 3: have to so they have to stop the Soviets because
- 11:05Speaker 3: the Soviets are gonna take over. It's so good. Patrick Swayze,
- 11:10Speaker 3: Charlie Sheen, Jennifer Gray, Leah Thompson, they're all in it.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Huh. Well, that's fourteen bangers in four months, because these
- 11:19Speaker 2: are the ones in August. I don't know, but I
- 11:20Speaker 2: think they put them in August because they were like, ah,
- 11:22Speaker 2: it does kind of suck. Yeah, I can, I can
- 11:24Speaker 2: read to you the rest, but I've never heard of them.
- 11:26Speaker 2: The Adventures of Buccaroo Bondzi, No, didn't catch that one.
- 11:31Speaker 2: Cloak and Dagger, Yeah, that was like a like a
- 11:34Speaker 2: mystery dreamscape, Tightrope and chud Hug. I don't remember that.
- 11:40Speaker 2: But there were fourteen like movies that people still talk about. Yeah,
- 11:46Speaker 2: classic within four months. They came out in nineteen eighty four.
- 11:49Speaker 3: You know how a movie, you know, you can tell
- 11:51Speaker 3: a movie is so so so good, Like my kids
- 11:54Speaker 3: will stop what they're doing to watch Karate Kid. Like
- 11:57Speaker 3: when Karate Kids on, they're just like they're playing they're wrestling.
- 12:01Speaker 3: They just stopping like they just stop and watch the
- 12:04Speaker 3: rest of the movie. That's how you know it's a
- 12:05Speaker 3: great movie.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Yeah, the year Forrest Gump came out.
- 12:10Speaker 7: That's an incredible year in movies.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:12Speaker 3: Ohhaw Sank, Heavyweights.
- 12:14Speaker 2: I have them here, nineteen ninety four, Shawshank, Redemption, Pulp Fiction,
- 12:21Speaker 2: The Lion King, Speed, True Lies, The Mask, Dumb and Dumber,
- 12:29Speaker 2: Four Weddings and a Funeral, and obviously for Scump.
- 12:33Speaker 3: It's the golden age of cinema right there.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Which won eighty four ninety four. Maybe let me see
- 12:37Speaker 2: two thousand four because so far away?
- 12:38Speaker 7: Well, all right, that's not a good one.
- 12:40Speaker 2: It's not no, no, what good movies go on?
- 12:44Speaker 7: I can tell you all the great years from came out.
- 12:47Speaker 3: Oh I bet you can't.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Like, let's see two thousand and four. All right, here
- 12:54Speaker 2: we go, two thousand and four. Let's se if eighty
- 12:56Speaker 2: four ninety four, two thousand four holds up, it says
- 12:58Speaker 2: an incredible year for cinema.
- 13:00Speaker 3: Yeah, okay.
- 13:01Speaker 2: One of my favorite movies of all time came out
- 13:03Speaker 2: in two thousand and four, of all time, Eternal Sunshine
- 13:05Speaker 2: of the Spotless Mind with Jim Carrey. That was a
- 13:07Speaker 2: great Million Dollar Baby with Clint Eastwood and the Boxer.
- 13:11Speaker 3: Huh yeah, like a girl what's her name?
- 13:13Speaker 2: The Aviator with DiCaprio. That's a great movie. Sideways, Yeah,
- 13:19Speaker 2: Paul Giamati, yep, good wine. I don't know, but it
- 13:22Speaker 2: got all the raving reviews before Sunset.
- 13:26Speaker 3: Oh yeah, Ethan Hot Yeah.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Spider Man two that like Toby Maguire, Harry Potter and
- 13:31Speaker 2: the Prisoner of Azkaban, The Incredibles, sounds a great year
- 13:34Speaker 2: for movies, Shrek two, The Bourne Supremacy, all the Bourns lost,
- 13:39Speaker 2: Mean Girls, Napoleon Dynamite, Yeah, yeah, great, Sean of the Dead,
- 13:46Speaker 2: which is awesome, Kill Bill Volume two. The Notebook such.
- 13:51Speaker 3: A good movie.
- 13:51Speaker 6: Never seen it still, guys, that's good.
- 13:54Speaker 2: So it sounds like two thousand four was pretty good mic.
- 13:56Speaker 8: Movie, greatest year compared to all these other I don't know,
- 14:00Speaker 8: there's oscars in that one.
- 14:02Speaker 3: Do you guys all admit that The Notebook is really good?
- 14:05Speaker 3: I don't know. In your acting like, you've.
- 14:07Speaker 2: Never seen that? Can I do it? I read the
- 14:09Speaker 2: book before the movie, of course you did. I read
- 14:13Speaker 2: the book before.
- 14:14Speaker 3: Hey, which one was better?
- 14:15Speaker 2: Well, it's it's always the book because you spend more
- 14:17Speaker 2: time with it. It Texas, you know, there's more detail. Yeah, dude,
- 14:21Speaker 2: that's a great story. The Notebook.
- 14:24Speaker 3: Are me going?
- 14:24Speaker 2: I read the book? Notebook?
- 14:27Speaker 6: Are you looking at fourteen?
- 14:27Speaker 4: Though?
- 14:28Speaker 2: Yep, now we're at fourteen, it can't be great. Twenty
- 14:30Speaker 2: fourteen's best movies. Let's see if every four is? What's up? Okay?
- 14:34Speaker 2: Twenty fourteen's best movies fourteen Whiplash.
- 14:39Speaker 3: Oh that was good, Yeah, really good man.
- 14:41Speaker 2: I did like that. The Drummer Yeah, and Miles tells Teller.
- 14:44Speaker 6: Oh yeah, that is a good one.
- 14:45Speaker 3: And the we are Farmers guy.
- 14:48Speaker 2: Jack Sibbings what's his name? J K Sibbs, J Carrell. Okay,
- 14:54Speaker 2: So this next movie, I'm gonna say, amazing concept. I
- 14:58Speaker 2: watched it. I liked it. Crazy. How much time they
- 15:02Speaker 2: took to do it.
- 15:03Speaker 3: You know what it is?
- 15:04Speaker 2: Mike Boyhood, Yeah, boy head. They shot over twelve years
- 15:07Speaker 2: with the same actors as they grow up.
- 15:08Speaker 3: It's so good. That's Richard Linklater.
- 15:10Speaker 2: Wow. I don't know if it's so good, but it's
- 15:13Speaker 2: so interesting that they did that. I don't it's novel.
- 15:16Speaker 7: The story is yeah, it's like Okay.
- 15:17Speaker 2: I agree, it's novel. I think it's cool they did
- 15:19Speaker 2: that with all the actors. But if they headshout the
- 15:21Speaker 2: same movie and chose different actors for the different ages,
- 15:23Speaker 2: that think it had been fine.
- 15:25Speaker 7: Sure you take that.
- 15:26Speaker 3: I see that. I'll take that.
- 15:27Speaker 2: But it is really cool and great because they did
- 15:29Speaker 2: film it over twelve years as everybody got older. You
- 15:31Speaker 2: ever see it? No, I haven't Birdman.
- 15:36Speaker 5: Think a movie.
- 15:36Speaker 3: I feel like I've seen that.
- 15:37Speaker 2: I liked it. It's it's it's it's Batman. But he
- 15:40Speaker 2: gets older, yeah, and he's.
- 15:41Speaker 3: Like, it's Batman. Wait is it?
- 15:44Speaker 2: He's trying to launch like a Broadway show. Yeah, but
- 15:47Speaker 2: it's not Batman. He's Michael Keaton. Oh yeah, no, no, no, no, no,
- 15:52Speaker 2: it's Mike in the original bat Oh no, that's right.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Than thinking about Birdman being Batman. It's Michael Keaton trying
- 16:00Speaker 2: to do a Broadway show.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Right.
- 16:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:03Speaker 2: I thought that was interesting. It was good, a little overrated, okay,
- 16:07Speaker 2: it was rited really hard.
- 16:08Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 16:09Speaker 2: One of my favorite movies of all time. Interstellar.
- 16:13Speaker 8: That's good.
- 16:13Speaker 3: That's Christopher Nolan, right, yeah, right, right, Mike, that's right. Okay.
- 16:18Speaker 2: I didn't want to and I got. I don't know,
- 16:21Speaker 2: maybe I'm speaking out of turn, or maybe I'm a
- 16:22Speaker 2: little early on this, but I think that guy's good.
- 16:26Speaker 6: Read his books.
- 16:28Speaker 2: I think he might have something here. I didn't watch
- 16:32Speaker 2: The Grand Grand Budapest Hotel Wes Anderson, Well then maybe yeah,
- 16:37Speaker 2: maybe I did. And then here's what I thought about it.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Like all his movies, one of his best ones though,
- 16:45Speaker 2: off Gone Girl. W TF.
- 16:50Speaker 3: So I remember watching Gone Girl with my both of
- 16:54Speaker 3: my parents, and then my wife and her parents, all
- 16:57Speaker 3: of us watching Gong.
- 16:58Speaker 2: And then you look at your wife like, hm, why
- 17:00Speaker 2: did we decide to do this? No, like who are you? No?
- 17:02Speaker 3: No, no, no, no no. There was an intense, like
- 17:05Speaker 3: love scene, intense, and so I grabbed the romote like
- 17:08Speaker 3: this is awkward. Let me fast forward, and my wife's
- 17:11Speaker 3: dad goes, hey, what are you doing rewind that I
- 17:14Speaker 3: want to see that. We're like, that's awkward.
- 17:16Speaker 6: I think it's more awkward that you tried to fast forward.
- 17:18Speaker 2: Yeah you talk, yeah, because you made it awkward.
- 17:20Speaker 3: Yeah, dude, it was so aw.
- 17:22Speaker 2: Because she vanishes on their anniverse. Yeah right, I mean
- 17:28Speaker 2: I want to spoil that one.
- 17:29Speaker 3: Says anything no one wants to control over.
- 17:31Speaker 2: I think that's part of it.
- 17:33Speaker 3: She yes, yes, says that, dude, what a crazy story.
- 17:37Speaker 2: Yeah, there's a book. I didn't read that one, okay,
- 17:42Speaker 2: now the one they came out twenty fourteen, Nightcrawler.
- 17:45Speaker 6: Oh is that a That's a good that's a good one.
- 17:50Speaker 2: That's one where I would tell people to go back
- 17:52Speaker 2: and watch.
- 17:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:52Speaker 2: I don't tell people much about it. Well, I've watched
- 17:54Speaker 2: like one hundred in the past day, but other than
- 17:57Speaker 2: Nightcrawler is amazing.
- 17:58Speaker 3: But that's one that I ever heard of. And I
- 18:00Speaker 3: think you told me to watch it because.
- 18:02Speaker 2: Because you were because you were a news guy. And
- 18:04Speaker 2: that's what he goes back.
- 18:05Speaker 3: He goes to like, it's not even that, it's like,
- 18:08Speaker 3: but that's why I told you about it, I think, right.
- 18:10Speaker 3: And I wanted to do what he does in the movie,
- 18:13Speaker 3: which is you're not a news guy. You're an independent
- 18:15Speaker 3: photographer trying to get there before the news. And I
- 18:19Speaker 3: would I did growing up. That's what I wanted to
- 18:22Speaker 3: do for a living. I wanted to be that guy
- 18:24Speaker 3: and then sell the footage to the news.
- 18:26Speaker 2: That's a good one, good stuff. That's a good one.
- 18:29Speaker 2: I'd recommend that one.
- 18:30Speaker 5: Now I got to see though I've never seen it.
- 18:32Speaker 6: Yeah to.
- 18:37Speaker 2: Guardians of the Galaxy. A plus, you've never seen Guardians
- 18:41Speaker 2: of the Galaxy.
- 18:41Speaker 6: And I've never seen any of.
- 18:43Speaker 3: Those Avengers, none of that.
- 18:46Speaker 2: You'd love them. They're so good. I'm not gonna be like, Okay,
- 18:48Speaker 2: believe it. You're such an idiot. I hope you fall
- 18:50Speaker 2: off the hill and die. I want to send everybody
- 18:52Speaker 2: you are.
- 18:53Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, because everyone's seen those.
- 18:54Speaker 2: Okay, good point, not everyone I have. You're the only
- 18:57Speaker 2: one I don't need. Guardians of the Galaxy. There you go,
- 19:00Speaker 2: you Guardian of the Galaxy. No, I wish I were you.
- 19:04Speaker 2: Those are so fun there. I think Guardians of the
- 19:06Speaker 2: Galaxies more fun. Guardians of the Galaxy is more fun
- 19:09Speaker 2: than the Avengers.
- 19:09Speaker 6: Yeah, I agree, They're totally different. Yes, don't they come
- 19:12Speaker 6: together at some point?
- 19:13Speaker 2: We want to spoil it. It's like years, like twelve
- 19:18Speaker 2: years after my what's more fun? The Avengers are Guardians
- 19:22Speaker 2: of the Galaxy.
- 19:22Speaker 8: Guardians of the Galaxy. I would say, within the Marvel movies,
- 19:24Speaker 8: that is the best trilogy. Yeah, you could just watch
- 19:26Speaker 8: those three movies and enjoy its pratt right, Yes, in
- 19:29Speaker 8: the Fox it's so fun and funny and Hero and
- 19:35Speaker 8: it's just visically, they're very colorful.
- 19:37Speaker 3: Yeah, you would like them really, Yes, Okay.
- 19:40Speaker 2: The thing about the Avengers is you kind of know,
- 19:43Speaker 2: but unless you've watched the solos, you miss a lot
- 19:46Speaker 2: of stuff.
- 19:46Speaker 8: Would you agree with that, Mike, Yeah, they're very interconnected,
- 19:48Speaker 8: so you feel like you have to watch a lot
- 19:50Speaker 8: of homework in order to end.
- 19:52Speaker 2: Yeah. So like, but they're really good. But I'd seen
- 19:55Speaker 2: Iron Man, maybe not all of them, but i'd seen
- 19:58Speaker 2: Iron Man, I'd seen Super America, I had.
- 20:01Speaker 7: Seen that Spider Guy.
- 20:03Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm watching all the bootlegs Spider Guy characters. Man,
- 20:10Speaker 2: it's like the Cereal used to buy. Wasn't Captain Crime,
- 20:14Speaker 2: it's a store brand.
- 20:17Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 20:18Speaker 2: I challenge you guys to watch Guardians of the Galaxy
- 20:21Speaker 2: if you get some time, because I think you'll just
- 20:23Speaker 2: like it. And I'd be curious to know what you
- 20:25Speaker 2: think now, because I think of any standalone that was
- 20:28Speaker 2: the most fun of all that because it's not even
- 20:30Speaker 2: a classic superhero movie.
- 20:32Speaker 6: Do they cussing that one?
- 20:33Speaker 3: Yes?
- 20:34Speaker 8: Oh, third one has the first word in any Marvel movie.
- 20:40Speaker 3: And great soundtracks really, and I do know that about it.
- 20:43Speaker 2: Well, he plays I think if I remember correctly nineties
- 20:46Speaker 2: music on a cassette tape, Like that's Chris Pratt. Like
- 20:49Speaker 2: he's a normal dude, and so he has like old
- 20:52Speaker 2: school walkman and he plays music in his head.
- 20:54Speaker 6: So they're like fun.
- 20:55Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, okay, you'll like him.
- 20:57Speaker 6: I can get down with that.
- 20:58Speaker 2: Just check back in after watch Guardians of Alexy and
- 21:01Speaker 2: then the Lego movie.
- 21:03Speaker 3: Oh that was a good one, which I never watched.
- 21:04Speaker 2: No kids, but is that Everybody's also everything? Is that
- 21:09Speaker 2: teak in its era? Yeah?
- 21:10Speaker 3: Yeah, that movie was so good.
- 21:12Speaker 2: Guys, I think the fours have the movies unlock.
- 21:14Speaker 6: Wow, I'm scared to get twenty four though, Oh.
- 21:16Speaker 2: We gotta do.
- 21:17Speaker 6: Twenty have been good, just because twenty four two years ago,
- 21:20Speaker 6: because ten years after twenty fourteen, I mean, box.
- 21:22Speaker 7: Office wise, it was one of the worst.
- 21:24Speaker 6: Yeah. I just feel like the last five years.
- 21:27Speaker 2: Twenty twenty four best. I don't even know what that
- 21:33Speaker 2: one is. Okay, here we go, twenty twenty four best movies.
- 21:36Speaker 2: Let's see if all the fours what the crap? Yeah,
- 21:41Speaker 2: some of these, though, I feel like, maybe haven't existed
- 21:44Speaker 2: long enough to be considered great like the others.
- 21:47Speaker 3: Yeah, that's fair a Nora.
- 21:50Speaker 7: Yeah that was about a sex worker. Oh, I remember that,
- 21:53Speaker 7: Mike and Madison.
- 21:54Speaker 2: I didn't watch it, but yeah I saw that. Its
- 21:55Speaker 2: it good, it's good. Yeah, okay, Eddie would ski Edio
- 21:58Speaker 2: had skipped to the whole movie, fast to the whole thing,
- 22:02Speaker 2: watching the whole movie.
- 22:04Speaker 3: Is that that was awkward?
- 22:06Speaker 2: He watches the whole thing on three three X speed.
- 22:09Speaker 3: And then my father was like rewinded, like the Mack,
- 22:11Speaker 3: we're winding it.
- 22:12Speaker 2: Hey, I watched this one. I think I reviewed it
- 22:14Speaker 2: last week, sing sing, yeah that's good. So Colemen Domingo,
- 22:20Speaker 2: who I think now is climbing up on my top
- 22:21Speaker 2: five actors right now. And I don't even have top
- 22:23Speaker 2: five actors.
- 22:24Speaker 3: Lemen's still up there number one.
- 22:27Speaker 2: Now him, Jess Lemons, you have one is up there
- 22:30Speaker 2: like two.
- 22:32Speaker 4: Burenthal Punisher right, yeah, okay, John, Yeah, I got it.
- 22:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:36Speaker 2: So I think my top five is this Jesse Plemons won,
- 22:40Speaker 2: John Burnhal two, Keanu Reeves three, Colemen Domingo four. I
- 22:47Speaker 2: hadn't finished the list. Yeah, we were waiting for I've
- 22:51Speaker 2: never really done a list of actors.
- 22:52Speaker 3: Go don't care, Yeah you do, like James Marsden. Oh, yeah, right,
- 22:59Speaker 3: he's the president in.
- 23:02Speaker 2: Yeah, he's pretty good Paradise TV actor, though I know
- 23:05Speaker 2: he does movies, but these are you got a classified
- 23:09Speaker 2: different silver screen from the gold screen.
- 23:10Speaker 3: But to be fair, he did a sonic the Hedgehog.
- 23:13Speaker 2: Is the gold screen even a thing? Mike?
- 23:15Speaker 8: No, okay, he was psychlost back in the day and
- 23:19Speaker 8: he's coming back.
- 23:20Speaker 2: Oh he is.
- 23:21Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 23:21Speaker 2: Yeah, my top five is only got four right now,
- 23:24Speaker 2: but there is an open spot, like I'm hiring if
- 23:26Speaker 2: anybody cares. But Sing Sing is really great. You need
- 23:31Speaker 2: to know going in that one. What's about It's about
- 23:35Speaker 2: a guy who's in prison, and it's a program where
- 23:40Speaker 2: they act and they can write their own places if
- 23:43Speaker 2: they want, they can find a play, but they it's
- 23:46Speaker 2: how community inside of a prison and you find that
- 23:49Speaker 2: you're able to kind of be yourself and grow as
- 23:51Speaker 2: a person whenever everything is very regimented and hard because
- 23:55Speaker 2: of prison. That being said, it's a true story. And secondly,
- 23:59Speaker 2: Colmen Domingo plays the guy, but everybody else around him
- 24:02Speaker 2: that plays the people are actually the people that were
- 24:04Speaker 2: in prison doing that.
- 24:06Speaker 5: Are they in Sing Sing prison?
- 24:08Speaker 2: Yes, that's what it's called that right, Because I did
- 24:11Speaker 2: the same thing. I thought it was about just sing
- 24:14Speaker 2: sing until I realize, oh, they're in sing sing.
- 24:16Speaker 3: And it's alliteration.
- 24:17Speaker 2: Was the what do you call that? Well, it would
- 24:19Speaker 2: be alliteration, but it's not because they're singing. It would say,
- 24:22Speaker 2: that's like a double meaning. Alliteration would be if a
- 24:26Speaker 2: bunch of things start with the same sound over and
- 24:27Speaker 2: over again, regardless. But sing sing could be alliteration. That's
- 24:31Speaker 2: just repeating of words.
- 24:33Speaker 3: In this case, it's double meaning sing sing the prison
- 24:35Speaker 3: and they're also singing.
- 24:38Speaker 2: If you know that all those people are the people
- 24:41Speaker 2: that were in prison that benefited from it. And then
- 24:43Speaker 2: you watch that, dude, you it's moving. I didn't know
- 24:46Speaker 2: that till halfway through, and I said, I never recognize
- 24:49Speaker 2: in these actors. So I looked it up and it
- 24:51Speaker 2: made the movie so much more fatal, so cool. And
- 24:54Speaker 2: then at the end they show the actual productions, like
- 24:58Speaker 2: with handheld cameras of the actual prisoners.
- 25:00Speaker 3: That's awesome. Yeah, is there? Is it all?
- 25:04Speaker 5: Like?
- 25:05Speaker 3: Is there any bad stuff in the movie, like prison stuff?
- 25:09Speaker 2: No? I don't think so, Like, what.
- 25:13Speaker 7: Does I feel like a prison movie?
- 25:15Speaker 3: Okay, I didn't know the shot in prison? They fast
- 25:18Speaker 3: forward to you and loss, Well, you know, if I
- 25:19Speaker 3: watched it with, you know, one of my boys or something,
- 25:22Speaker 3: I don't want that.
- 25:24Speaker 6: I've seen that Coleman Domingo in the four seasons that show.
- 25:27Speaker 6: Have you seen that yet?
- 25:28Speaker 5: I've heard one?
- 25:29Speaker 6: Season one, Season two came up this year.
- 25:31Speaker 2: Season one's oddly wonderful.
- 25:33Speaker 6: I loved it. My wife and I love it.
- 25:35Speaker 2: I thought that it would be the lame as adults
- 25:37Speaker 2: hanging out together, who gives a crash?
- 25:40Speaker 6: Yes, and Coleman Domingo is in there, and I've never
- 25:44Speaker 6: really seen him before, and I was like, who is
- 25:45Speaker 6: this guy? He's amazing?
- 25:46Speaker 3: Oh, yes, Bobby, Bobby's tough.
- 25:48Speaker 6: Now I know that yet now I should have known.
- 25:51Speaker 2: Yeah, uh A Real Pain, which I just watched.
- 25:55Speaker 3: That one's so good.
- 25:56Speaker 2: It's an adult movie too, not adult like porno adult like, oh,
- 26:00Speaker 2: that's a good one. You don't want to watch with
- 26:02Speaker 2: kids because they're going back their their grandma was in
- 26:05Speaker 2: the Holocaust and so they're going to try because she died,
- 26:07Speaker 2: so they're going to go and see where she lived
- 26:09Speaker 2: and stuff. And Mike told me that freaking Jesse Eisenberg
- 26:12Speaker 2: wrote that. Yeah, what Yeah, he wrote it. And then
- 26:15Speaker 2: he didn't write himself as the main main. Karen Colkin
- 26:18Speaker 2: is the main main. Just Eisenberg is Maine. But uh,
- 26:22Speaker 2: Karen Colchin won Awards writer Let's nominated.
- 26:24Speaker 7: Yeah, Best Supporting Actor.
- 26:25Speaker 2: I believe.
- 26:26Speaker 6: Yeah, that's a good one.
- 26:27Speaker 3: He was amazing that it's good and that's a play
- 26:30Speaker 3: on words. Took a real pain, a real pain.
- 26:37Speaker 2: Go ahead, we're listening.
- 26:38Speaker 3: He's a real pain, and but it's also real pain
- 26:42Speaker 3: that they're going through. Got it, God, I say, like
- 26:48Speaker 3: a philosopher, he did pain, real pain.
- 26:52Speaker 2: Uh. By the way, for those that are listening to this,
- 26:54Speaker 2: this was not the plan of things talking about Oh no, no, none,
- 26:58Speaker 2: because we found the thing from night to eighty four
- 27:00Speaker 2: and I was just like Mike, all these movies came
- 27:03Speaker 2: out in eighty four. Uh okay, I got it. I
- 27:05Speaker 2: want to keep you on though. On twenty twenty four,
- 27:07Speaker 2: Dune Part two.
- 27:09Speaker 3: Oh, I watched Dune two without watching doing one. Don't
- 27:12Speaker 3: recommend that locking deck question.
- 27:25Speaker 2: I remember watching when I was watching The Marvelous Miss
- 27:27Speaker 2: Maisel because I never watched the show, but everyone was saying,
- 27:29Speaker 2: you got Amazon Prime, you watch Marvelous Miss Maisl, You'll
- 27:31Speaker 2: love the show, and I watched it, and I just
- 27:33Speaker 2: didn't get it. And so I remember watching four episodes
- 27:37Speaker 2: and I said, maybe I just it's female comic from
- 27:39Speaker 2: like the sixties and she was doing overseas stuff for
- 27:43Speaker 2: the troops. And I returned to get off and then
- 27:45Speaker 2: went back to it again, and it was like I
- 27:47Speaker 2: started on season four. Oh no, because it was just
- 27:50Speaker 2: the one that was up, and there was a reason
- 27:52Speaker 2: I doomed it, dude. I doomed it like you did
- 27:55Speaker 2: it any I was like, man, I just it's over
- 27:57Speaker 2: my head. I guess, like the kids these days, they
- 28:00Speaker 2: like something I don't even understand. I liked Dune. I
- 28:07Speaker 2: like Dune.
- 28:08Speaker 3: Did you watch both?
- 28:09Speaker 2: Yeah? And I think I only like two because I
- 28:12Speaker 2: like one, but I think two is pretty good. Mike,
- 28:14Speaker 2: what do you think of Dune?
- 28:15Speaker 7: I think they're boring. I can't get into those.
- 28:17Speaker 2: They're slow, for sure.
- 28:18Speaker 7: I feel like the same people who like Dune, like
- 28:20Speaker 7: Lord of the Rings two movies.
- 28:23Speaker 2: Tell those people, Okay, the nerdiest dude, and I say
- 28:26Speaker 2: that respectfully in the room is like Lord of the
- 28:29Speaker 2: Ring losers exactly. Yeah, Okay, Conclave freaking awesome. Oh yeah,
- 28:40Speaker 2: I did not. I thought it would be fun to
- 28:42Speaker 2: watch because they based it on when they choose the
- 28:44Speaker 2: pope and ended up being a tremendous movie aside from
- 28:47Speaker 2: it actually existing when they were looking for a new pope?
- 28:50Speaker 5: Was that John John Lukow.
- 28:52Speaker 3: I learned a lot watching that movie.
- 28:53Speaker 2: It's fantastic. Nickel Boys, What about Nickelback? I watched just
- 29:00Speaker 2: watched it and I'll review it on Tuesday or Tuesday tomorrow.
- 29:03Speaker 2: But it is it's a it's from a book, but
- 29:07Speaker 2: it's written based on a school where kids would go
- 29:10Speaker 2: if they got in trouble. It was like a juvenile
- 29:12Speaker 2: attention camp. But they put the white kids in one
- 29:15Speaker 2: camp and the black kids in another camp, and how
- 29:18Speaker 2: terribly they treated the black kids. And it's shot first person.
- 29:22Speaker 2: So it's a little dooney, No, a little doomy. Yeah,
- 29:29Speaker 2: it's it's it's it's an adult and it's so moving
- 29:34Speaker 2: and you feel so bad because it's then they show
- 29:36Speaker 2: real footage of like the school that's based on, when
- 29:38Speaker 2: they're just out excavating and they're finding bodies and none
- 29:43Speaker 2: Mark Graves how they used to do what.
- 29:46Speaker 3: Yeah, sounds heavy.
- 29:47Speaker 2: It's so heavy. My wife said the same thing last
- 29:49Speaker 2: night because we were finishing it, and she said, man,
- 29:53Speaker 2: we don't like to do heavy this late. And I
- 29:57Speaker 2: was like, you got a mouse in your pocket, Like,
- 29:58Speaker 2: I'm fine doing heavy this late.
- 30:00Speaker 3: I don't have a problem with it.
- 30:01Speaker 6: You gotta throw something after that.
- 30:03Speaker 3: No, the palette.
- 30:04Speaker 2: Yeah, we watched Master Guardians of the Galaxy. It got
- 30:12Speaker 2: that movie. It's it's hard to watch and it makes
- 30:15Speaker 2: you just really want to punch every freaking awful white
- 30:18Speaker 2: person from the Jim Crow air in the face and you're,
- 30:22Speaker 2: oh god, it's hard.
- 30:28Speaker 3: Here.
- 30:28Speaker 2: We got a couple more the Substance. I just watched this.
- 30:32Speaker 3: Oh, Demi Moore, I don't see that. Is it good?
- 30:37Speaker 3: M hm?
- 30:39Speaker 2: I don't like horror movies. And also, not to be
- 30:43Speaker 2: confused with what you and your parents watch horror movies.
- 30:46Speaker 2: You fast forward through the horror gard laws.
- 30:51Speaker 3: Does she make love with the Substance?
- 30:53Speaker 2: No, it's actually the premise. It is a true, tremendously
- 31:01Speaker 2: well thought out long.
- 31:07Speaker 5: Sounds awesome.
- 31:08Speaker 2: It's tough, Mike. Did you like it? Yeah.
- 31:10Speaker 7: It's about creating a better version of yourself.
- 31:13Speaker 3: Okay.
- 31:13Speaker 2: It's about what the standards women are held to physically
- 31:19Speaker 2: and what people will do in order to meet those
- 31:24Speaker 2: unfair standards. But it's also a horror movie, can I
- 31:28Speaker 2: say that?
- 31:29Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 31:29Speaker 2: And she injects herself with something which does create the
- 31:34Speaker 2: effect that she wants, so like, the overarching theme is
- 31:40Speaker 2: amazing and so well thought out, just wasn't for me.
- 31:44Speaker 3: She does a really good job in that, right pee.
- 31:47Speaker 2: I think I saw a thing of her where she
- 31:48Speaker 2: said people kept telling me I was so brave for
- 31:50Speaker 2: doing this movie. Well, she's naked in it for someone.
- 31:53Speaker 2: She's like, what, Because I'm old and naked? It makes me.
- 31:56Speaker 3: Brave, That's gotta be why they said that.
- 31:59Speaker 2: Yeah, because fit in her fifties.
- 32:01Speaker 3: Yeah, you're so brave to show the whole world.
- 32:06Speaker 2: Talk about that movie without ruining anything about it.
- 32:08Speaker 6: I can think.
- 32:09Speaker 2: I give it three and a half, but I don't
- 32:11Speaker 2: like horror, but I think the idea of it is fantastic.
- 32:16Speaker 2: Did you like it?
- 32:16Speaker 7: My Yeah, I gave it four out of five.
- 32:18Speaker 8: But I love horror movies, and it also gets very
- 32:20Speaker 8: absurd in the final act.
- 32:21Speaker 2: I didn't want to say that, but if you think
- 32:24Speaker 2: that's fair to say, okay, good.
- 32:26Speaker 3: I probably won't watch it.
- 32:28Speaker 6: The Wild Wild.
- 32:29Speaker 2: Robot animated movie, Oh Okay, Inside Out too.
- 32:35Speaker 3: Didn't really well, oh yeah, yeah, that was pretty good.
- 32:38Speaker 7: Introduced anxiety in that one.
- 32:39Speaker 3: Yeah, I saw that. That's a new character.
- 32:41Speaker 2: I thought Inside Out one was amazing.
- 32:42Speaker 3: Yeah, so you'll like in set Out too.
- 32:44Speaker 2: I watched it whenever I was forcing myself to watch
- 32:46Speaker 2: Disney movies that I'd never seen as a kid. If
- 32:48Speaker 2: it's like a bit on the show, I watched that
- 32:50Speaker 2: and I loved it. Yeah, for sure, that one was great.
- 32:53Speaker 2: And then just in that bit.
- 32:55Speaker 3: The one about Me was good because it's not about you,
- 32:58Speaker 3: it's about me.
- 32:59Speaker 2: It's about me because my grandma and my grandma's Yeah.
- 33:02Speaker 3: You watch it.
- 33:04Speaker 2: No, you watch it and you're like, that's Bobby because
- 33:06Speaker 2: like the love from his grandma to him.
- 33:08Speaker 5: Is that kind of like your Black Crows story that
- 33:10Speaker 5: you have.
- 33:12Speaker 2: No, it's not. It's not that at all. I didn't
- 33:16Speaker 2: take Eddie's story and make it my own. Fun fact, Kevin,
- 33:18Speaker 2: we'll do bobbycast sometimes and Brandon will tell me a
- 33:21Speaker 2: story about him and how it relates to the music
- 33:24Speaker 2: in some way that I don't know. I don't it's
- 33:26Speaker 2: just a different Like he went to a show from
- 33:29Speaker 2: switch Foot in like West Texas and festival and he's
- 33:32Speaker 2: like I saw them whatever. And then I will take
- 33:33Speaker 2: that and news and be like, hey, i'saw you guys
- 33:35Speaker 2: at the show and Switch Switch West Texas and he's like,
- 33:38Speaker 2: oh my god, that was a big show and gets
- 33:39Speaker 2: this whole story out. I never say it was brand
- 33:41Speaker 2: and I just we're like an amalgamation of people and
- 33:44Speaker 2: ideas and characters, and so I've done that a few times.
- 33:48Speaker 5: But they just did it with Pat Monahan too.
- 33:50Speaker 2: I did it with Black Crows story with him. Well,
- 33:53Speaker 2: I just I can tell you what the story was
- 33:55Speaker 2: pet Money and I love the solo record. It was
- 33:58Speaker 2: called like oh Hey he something, and he had this
- 34:01Speaker 2: song now it was called like seven Brothers and Sisters
- 34:03Speaker 2: and he had the song called oh Hey He And
- 34:05Speaker 2: I really liked that and Pat was like, yeah, I
- 34:07Speaker 2: hate that record.
- 34:08Speaker 6: I mean like that.
- 34:09Speaker 2: He was like it just I was trying too hard
- 34:11Speaker 2: to be solo and it turned into a story.
- 34:14Speaker 4: But it was all Brandon story because I fully expect
- 34:17Speaker 4: it now and I'm like, it's cool. But the story,
- 34:20Speaker 4: the story about Chris Robinson. He's like, hey, you got
- 34:24Speaker 4: to tell the Pat mall hend real quick. I was like, hey,
- 34:26Speaker 4: he had he had this record called Last of Seven
- 34:29Speaker 4: during trains, you know, they were killing it.
- 34:32Speaker 2: And the Youngest Kid of seven that's what that's from.
- 34:34Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, Last of Seven.
- 34:35Speaker 4: And he's like, when I was on the road, I
- 34:38Speaker 4: would play that record over and over and it was
- 34:40Speaker 4: my favorite.
- 34:41Speaker 5: And he's like, oh, what was the song from there?
- 34:42Speaker 4: I was like, oh, there's a song called oh my
- 34:44Speaker 4: My and he sounds like Robert Plant from led Zeppelin.
- 34:46Speaker 5: He's like, how's it go.
- 34:47Speaker 6: I was like, ooh my mind.
- 34:49Speaker 4: He's like okay, and he's like writing all this stuff
- 34:50Speaker 4: down and he verbatim repeats it to Pat sing the song.
- 34:55Speaker 2: I'm yeah, and he's like yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 34:58Speaker 4: That you're singing like ooh my my. And in London
- 35:02Speaker 4: and people are loving it. He's like, yeah, it was
- 35:04Speaker 4: really big in Europe. It was like all right, and.
- 35:07Speaker 6: Brandon just watching this play out, like no, he knows
- 35:09Speaker 6: what's happening now.
- 35:10Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 35:11Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 35:11Speaker 2: The other one was Black Crows.
- 35:13Speaker 5: Yeah, Chris Robinson.
- 35:15Speaker 4: We were flew out to LA and like, I'm a
- 35:17Speaker 4: big Black Crows fan. He's like, Brandon, like, what's your
- 35:20Speaker 4: favorite Black Crows song.
- 35:21Speaker 2: I was like me, I'm him. By the way, it's
- 35:23Speaker 2: gonna be confusing.
- 35:24Speaker 4: I'm him, oh yeah, in this story, Bobby's asking me
- 35:27Speaker 4: before we go, and I'm like, oh, dude, Like I
- 35:30Speaker 4: grew up in kind of a strict Christian household and
- 35:33Speaker 4: we got the Black Crows record. My dad walks in
- 35:37Speaker 4: and he's like, oh, like we're listening to hard hard
- 35:39Speaker 4: to Handle. He's like, have you heard the original version
- 35:42Speaker 4: of hard to Handle? It's like, what are you talking about?
- 35:44Speaker 4: And he gets a record out, gets Otis Redding and
- 35:47Speaker 4: because he originally did Hard to Handle, and so we
- 35:51Speaker 4: always say that like the Black Crows was like a
- 35:53Speaker 4: bridge that like connected me and my two brothers to
- 35:57Speaker 4: my parents because it was all so Christian base and
- 36:01Speaker 4: all that kind of stuff, and like we learned a
- 36:02Speaker 4: lot about them through the Black Crows.
- 36:05Speaker 5: That's really cool.
- 36:06Speaker 4: First thing he says when he sits down, he is like, Chris,
- 36:08Speaker 4: I'm a big fan, you know, growing.
- 36:11Speaker 5: Up Christian household, Chris, pretty strict household. My grandma came
- 36:15Speaker 5: in one day and I was listening to the Hard
- 36:16Speaker 5: to Handle. She was like, let me show you the
- 36:19Speaker 5: original version. She pulls out her Otis.
- 36:20Speaker 4: Redding record, and man, it just really connected us and
- 36:25Speaker 4: and brought us together, and like, that's that's always been
- 36:28Speaker 4: my hard to handle Black Crows.
- 36:29Speaker 2: Star like you, I have to do it early though,
- 36:34Speaker 2: or I'll forget.
- 36:35Speaker 6: Yeah, so I have to.
- 36:36Speaker 2: Get it from Brandon right at the end, and they
- 36:38Speaker 2: come in and I have to go right to it
- 36:40Speaker 2: because otherwise, who knows how it's going to end up?
- 36:43Speaker 3: Personalized it. Yeah, you went from Brandon's dad to your grandma.
- 36:47Speaker 2: I make my own changed, I'm making my own. Yeah,
- 36:52Speaker 2: it's kind of one of our things.
- 36:53Speaker 6: Now, that's awesome.
- 36:56Speaker 2: We give him take, he gives I take.
- 36:59Speaker 6: There, Well, you have something that you're doing later today.
- 37:03Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 37:03Speaker 6: So originally says we're on the subjects here. I was
- 37:08Speaker 6: thinking about it. Well, first of all, they're like one
- 37:10Speaker 6: of my favorite bands ever. They're awesome. But he's from
- 37:13Speaker 6: the same area that originally he was born in the States.
- 37:16Speaker 6: He's from the same town that I grew up in.
- 37:18Speaker 2: I can't do that one.
- 37:19Speaker 5: And then.
- 37:22Speaker 2: My son that's one.
- 37:24Speaker 3: Wait, so he's he's not American, right.
- 37:27Speaker 6: He was born in in Yorba, Landa, California, which is
- 37:31Speaker 6: where I'm from. Yeah. No, Yorba Linda, that's not right.
- 37:36Speaker 6: Uh and uh yeah, and then he moved to Europe
- 37:39Speaker 6: when he was like, one, I believe am so he's American.
- 37:44Speaker 2: He's like Jimmy Hendrix was an American.
- 37:47Speaker 3: What do you mean? No, no, no, Jimi Hendrix was over
- 37:49Speaker 3: there because military.
- 37:50Speaker 2: Right, Jimi Hendrix was born in Seattle, but then he
- 37:54Speaker 2: was He's like he had spoken with the British accent,
- 37:55Speaker 2: didn't he?
- 37:56Speaker 3: Oh, I don't know.
- 37:57Speaker 5: I don't know he did.
- 37:58Speaker 3: Thought he was just American America.
- 38:00Speaker 6: I got a Jimmy Hendrick story goes, oh, here we go,
- 38:02Speaker 6: me and Jimmy.
- 38:03Speaker 2: I could be wrong. I probably am.
- 38:05Speaker 3: I don't know. I've never heard it.
- 38:06Speaker 2: If it didn't happen to Brandon, I mean me, I
- 38:07Speaker 2: don't know. Yeah, we do that a lot now. It's
- 38:12Speaker 2: kind of thing. It's pretty great. But Brandon's got brand's
- 38:16Speaker 2: written with everybody. Yeah, I ever written with somebody who
- 38:19Speaker 2: knows or has been to every show we're played on
- 38:21Speaker 2: the Warped tour, you know. Yeah, And so it's like,
- 38:24Speaker 2: why would I not use this wealth of information and
- 38:26Speaker 2: act like it's my own.
- 38:28Speaker 3: He has a story about everyone, dude.
- 38:30Speaker 6: Yeah, we went to the super Bowl last year one
- 38:33Speaker 6: of our trips. It's like every breakfast we had. It
- 38:35Speaker 6: was like this amazing Brandon story.
- 38:38Speaker 3: Breakfast was great.
- 38:38Speaker 2: I feel like, didn't Kramer sell his story on Seinfeld?
- 38:43Speaker 2: And then yeah, the white dude was a Peterman and
- 38:49Speaker 2: he just gets to live it. But then he wants
- 38:51Speaker 2: to buy camer wants to buy it back my story
- 38:53Speaker 2: anymore Peterman and Lane's boss.
- 38:56Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 38:56Speaker 4: He goes to the book signing and Kramer. Kramer's signing
- 38:59Speaker 4: the books that his stories are from. He's like, you
- 39:02Speaker 4: already sold the stories to me. He's like, yeah, but
- 39:03Speaker 4: they're mine and he's like trying to he's.
- 39:05Speaker 3: Signing the book. That's funny.
- 39:07Speaker 2: Yeah, that's that's our situation there. Do you watch the
- 39:10Speaker 2: w NBA game?
- 39:11Speaker 3: I did?
- 39:12Speaker 2: I did. Do you watch the one Everybody's Fight?
- 39:14Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, just I mean really, there's nothing on right now,
- 39:17Speaker 3: so I was like, let me just watch it. But man,
- 39:19Speaker 3: these girls are crazy. Like these girls they fight more
- 39:22Speaker 3: than guys do. Like that Sophie Cunningham foul was crazy.
- 39:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 39:29Speaker 3: I didn't know that that's the way these games went.
- 39:32Speaker 2: Well, they don't always that. That one was pretty blatant.
- 39:34Speaker 3: Damn, Like they fight, dude, they fight, and I'm a
- 39:37Speaker 3: Chicago Sky right, Chicago Sky, which I thought Angel Reese
- 39:41Speaker 3: played for that trade to Atlanta? Thank you?
- 39:43Speaker 5: Is that the one where she tweeted out my privilege?
- 39:47Speaker 3: Who tweeted that out?
- 39:48Speaker 2: The girl for Chicago? Okay, so the w NBA has
- 39:52Speaker 2: got all the storylines going. It's got Caylen Clark who
- 39:55Speaker 2: does not want to talk about social issues. She just
- 39:58Speaker 2: wants to play basketball, and everybody who's and yelling to
- 40:00Speaker 2: all athletes, hey, shut up and dribble, and now want
- 40:02Speaker 2: her to talk about social issues because Kayler Clark is
- 40:05Speaker 2: in the middle of everything even if she doesn't want
- 40:07Speaker 2: to be, which there's the real hypocrisy there is that
- 40:10Speaker 2: Kayln Clark's like, I'm just I'm just trying to play ball,
- 40:13Speaker 2: and they're like, no, you're a coward because you won't
- 40:15Speaker 2: talk out. But it's the same people that would say
- 40:17Speaker 2: to like Lebron, no, just shut up and dribble. You're
- 40:19Speaker 2: an athlete. Yeah, so you have that crazy hypocrisy happening.
- 40:22Speaker 2: And the fact when Cayler Clark got that technical, yeah,
- 40:25Speaker 2: it was their eighth and it was going to kick
- 40:26Speaker 2: her out of a game when she bumped into the
- 40:28Speaker 2: ref she obviously it was her momentum from the layout accident.
- 40:34Speaker 2: It was so accidental and it wasn't even a hard hit,
- 40:36Speaker 2: no tech. She's like what and so they kick her out.
- 40:41Speaker 2: It gets rescinded. Now everybody's upset that it got rescinded.
- 40:44Speaker 2: They're like, oh, look at this. This fight happens with
- 40:46Speaker 2: Sophie Cunningham. And Sophie cunninghams in the news because she's
- 40:50Speaker 2: anti trans girls playing basketball, and so that is in
- 40:56Speaker 2: the news because you got like Enis Canter going, I'm
- 40:57Speaker 2: going to play in the WNBA, and it's created this
- 40:59Speaker 2: complete political firestorm. But Sophie's also served as at times
- 41:04Speaker 2: Caitlin's what are you calling hockey? Yes, yes, So Sophie
- 41:10Speaker 2: Cunningham goes up and gets her head ripped off.
- 41:13Speaker 3: It ripped off. It was a wide open layup.
- 41:16Speaker 2: And the girl who does it gets kicked out of
- 41:18Speaker 2: the game, and she goes back in tweets white privilege.
- 41:20Speaker 3: Yep.
- 41:21Speaker 2: There's so many storylines.
- 41:23Speaker 7: Yes, yeah, that it's why.
- 41:27Speaker 2: And I'm telling you every single one of them. And
- 41:29Speaker 2: you guys can think I'm stupid for saying this, but
- 41:31Speaker 2: you'll be stupid for thinking I'm stupid. Just for the record,
- 41:34Speaker 2: none of this happens without the existence of Kaylyn Clark.
- 41:39Speaker 3: Yeah, you're right, like every one of.
- 41:40Speaker 2: These storylines is because she's so famous of a player
- 41:43Speaker 2: that she's good or hated or it does not matter.
- 41:47Speaker 2: All of this is in the news because of Kaitlyn Clark,
- 41:52Speaker 2: because Sophe Cunningham would have been paid attention to for
- 41:54Speaker 2: what she's saying. The foul on Sophie wouldn't have mattered.
- 41:57Speaker 1: That.
- 41:58Speaker 2: All of this is because Kaylin Clark is, by the way,
- 42:03Speaker 2: the least outspoken. Wa Uh, what do you called rod?
- 42:09Speaker 5: Fire?
- 42:09Speaker 2: What are they called fire? Whatever? Something that starts a
- 42:13Speaker 2: bunch of firework?
- 42:15Speaker 3: Fire?
- 42:15Speaker 7: Start my instigator?
- 42:18Speaker 6: Nah, some rod, fire cracker?
- 42:19Speaker 2: Some more people use yeah, nimrod, nah, lightning, rod, na, interesting,
- 42:28Speaker 2: shaft rod, rock and rod. Now we're gonna get this
- 42:34Speaker 2: and we're not going anywhere.
- 42:37Speaker 3: Hot rod.
- 42:38Speaker 2: Hey, what's the term that is used for somebody that
- 42:41Speaker 2: is the center of a bunch of attention. It's got
- 42:44Speaker 2: the word rod in it. I'm not totally sure.
- 42:50Speaker 1: Do you mean something like center of attention or in
- 42:53Speaker 1: the spotlight?
- 42:54Speaker 5: Does that feel like what you're.
- 42:56Speaker 2: Thinking it does? But they say like she's like a
- 42:58Speaker 2: lightning maybe like a lightning rod or something. What does
- 43:01Speaker 2: that mean?
- 43:02Speaker 1: Yes, lightning rod that is used when someone draws a
- 43:06Speaker 1: lot of attention or controversy, like not just attention, but
- 43:10Speaker 1: strong reactions, some positive, some negative.
- 43:14Speaker 2: There the flash point of the conversation. Thank you, that's
- 43:19Speaker 2: exactly what I mean. I knew's kind of rod.
- 43:20Speaker 3: She's a lightning rod.
- 43:21Speaker 2: Without Kayln Clark being the least outspoken lightning rod in
- 43:25Speaker 2: the history of professional sports, none of this stuff happens,
- 43:28Speaker 2: nothing else happens, thank you.
- 43:31Speaker 3: It is wild, man, it's wild over there right now.
- 43:34Speaker 6: It's all It's all bad too, all negative.
- 43:36Speaker 2: Yes, and again, Kayla Clark has done nothing except playball.
- 43:41Speaker 6: I don't remember that. I mean, outside of the technical
- 43:43Speaker 6: nobody even says her name anymore. But she has affected everything,
- 43:47Speaker 6: not her own fault. But I'm just saying because everything.
- 43:49Speaker 2: All of this is because she exists, and because she's
- 43:53Speaker 2: so famous, good or bad, and storylinees coming off of her.
- 43:56Speaker 2: This is all Kaylen Clarkville. We live there, lightning rod.
- 43:59Speaker 2: Did I even say at the beginning? Somebody and then
- 44:02Speaker 2: I questioned myself because man, I've just been wrong so lately,
- 44:04Speaker 2: and I don't like that.
- 44:05Speaker 6: Let's go with it.
- 44:06Speaker 2: I just I know. And then you guys like fishing.
- 44:08Speaker 3: Rods hot Rod. I thought I nailed it with.
- 44:11Speaker 2: Rodney Dangerfield A good. Did you watch any of the
- 44:17Speaker 2: Hall of Fame NFL? I did?
- 44:19Speaker 3: I did. Man, here's my thought on that, Like, I
- 44:22Speaker 3: like it. A couple of notes I had on it.
- 44:24Speaker 3: I think it's great. You know, it's cool. The families
- 44:27Speaker 3: get to celebrate, the player gets to be celebrated. Blah
- 44:30Speaker 3: blah blah. Number one, the busts that they make are terrible.
- 44:35Speaker 3: They look not where they all bad? I didn't see them.
- 44:37Speaker 2: Were they all bad?
- 44:37Speaker 3: I think Venetary was the only one that kind of
- 44:39Speaker 3: looked like minitary. Yeah, everyone, it's unrecognizable, Like I would
- 44:44Speaker 3: be upset if that was my bust in today's world
- 44:48Speaker 3: where you can literally just get AI to make a
- 44:50Speaker 3: carbon copy of my face three D printer it up
- 44:55Speaker 3: and like it doesn't look anything like them? Are Is
- 44:57Speaker 3: there an artist behind this? Because I don't want to
- 44:59Speaker 3: offend anyone, but is there an artist that makes this?
- 45:01Speaker 2: I don't know the answer to that. I didn't know
- 45:03Speaker 2: what a lightning rod was about fifteen seconds ago, so
- 45:06Speaker 2: I don't know. I thought about a single term.
- 45:10Speaker 3: I just felt bad. They looked so proud. Roger Craig
- 45:13Speaker 3: goes up there and like, oh, it's so nice. Lift
- 45:15Speaker 3: up the thing. Oh, that doesn't look like Roger.
- 45:17Speaker 6: They didn't get to see it until Blair bus Well
- 45:20Speaker 6: as an artist.
- 45:21Speaker 2: By the way, somebody named bus Well makes busts.
- 45:24Speaker 6: Blair bus Well yep.
- 45:26Speaker 2: B us two fixed buses or make busts with that
- 45:31Speaker 2: last name. Huh. Yeah, I didn't see. The really famous
- 45:35Speaker 2: one is the Ronaldo one. That's so bad. It's nothing
- 45:38Speaker 2: like that. I saw Vanitarry tried to do a comedy act
- 45:41Speaker 2: in this speech.
- 45:41Speaker 3: Yeah, like this guy's held my balls for I don't
- 45:43Speaker 3: know how many years.
- 45:44Speaker 2: Yeah, McAfee Belichick and they did Belichick. He'd wanted to
- 45:47Speaker 2: be here, but he's judging his girlfriend's cheerleading competition. Yeah,
- 45:52Speaker 2: it really didn't hit that well, is okay? It didn't.
- 45:56Speaker 2: It felt like a roast whenever it's like, this is
- 45:59Speaker 2: like a clebration.
- 46:00Speaker 3: This is a big deal unless you're so.
- 46:02Speaker 6: Funny if you're McAfee.
- 46:04Speaker 7: Maybe he did.
- 46:05Speaker 2: He didn't feel comfortable delivering the jokes, I'll say that,
- 46:08Speaker 2: and maybe that's why it didn't. He just didn't embrace.
- 46:12Speaker 2: It felt like he was like timid about it. He
- 46:13Speaker 2: wanted to be seen as a funny guy, but he
- 46:14Speaker 2: was timid. So I saw that when I saw Roger
- 46:17Speaker 2: Craig say had dementia?
- 46:18Speaker 3: Yeah, and no he didn't speak.
- 46:22Speaker 2: Well, I saw the clip of it saying Roger Craig
- 46:24Speaker 2: has dementia. Yeah, so he didn't speak at all.
- 46:27Speaker 3: It was recorded, right, Yeah, he did like a It
- 46:29Speaker 3: was like an interview video that they did instead of
- 46:31Speaker 3: him going at the podium and speaking. It was pretty sad.
- 46:33Speaker 2: Oh that's so. The clip that I saw was what
- 46:36Speaker 2: they showed at the podium. What did you see him saying?
- 46:40Speaker 2: Him talking in an interview?
- 46:42Speaker 3: No, that wasn't on the podium. He didn't say anything
- 46:44Speaker 3: on the podium.
- 46:44Speaker 2: No, no, I'm saying, did they show that instead of him
- 46:46Speaker 2: at the Yes?
- 46:47Speaker 3: What God is correct?
- 46:49Speaker 2: Oh?
- 46:49Speaker 3: Yeah? And uh. And then there was Drew Brees, which.
- 46:54Speaker 2: I didn't see anything.
- 46:55Speaker 3: He spoke for about forty five minutes for a long
- 47:00Speaker 3: time talking about I watched about ten minutes of it,
- 47:03Speaker 3: and then I went.
- 47:04Speaker 2: To every game. Did he go back and talk about it?
- 47:07Speaker 3: And then and then I came back, like you know,
- 47:09Speaker 3: twenty minutes later he was still talking, even so much
- 47:12Speaker 3: that like, my family was like, he's still talking, guys.
- 47:15Speaker 5: What about the dynamic? Always charming Larry Fitzgerald.
- 47:19Speaker 3: I didn't see Larry Fitzgerald.
- 47:21Speaker 2: Interesting, didn't see him. He is pretty boring when he speaks. Yes, right,
- 47:25Speaker 2: that's yeah those for those that Dunders and Brandon sarcasm.
- 47:29Speaker 2: Really nice guy, really obviously amazing football player, one of
- 47:34Speaker 2: the great receivers ever, who had to play bad quarterbacks
- 47:36Speaker 2: for a lot of his career, and God bless him.
- 47:38Speaker 2: The Cardinals for the most part, sucked other than Kurt
- 47:41Speaker 2: Warner early a little bit of Palm Palmer, Carson Palmer.
- 47:45Speaker 2: I mean really yeah, that was it. He just yeah,
- 47:48Speaker 2: patch job.
- 47:50Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 47:50Speaker 2: But I remember having them on and going.
- 47:53Speaker 5: Huh yeah.
- 47:54Speaker 4: You said something like what, what was like the most
- 47:56Speaker 4: memorable play you ever had?
- 47:57Speaker 5: He's like, I don't know anyway, want.
- 48:08Speaker 6: Were you got surprised to see Vinitari went in as
- 48:10Speaker 6: like a colt.
- 48:11Speaker 2: Well, you don't go in as somebody in football and baseball,
- 48:14Speaker 2: you do, you do not go in as a player
- 48:16Speaker 2: in the NFL.
- 48:17Speaker 6: Or I should say he had. I believe this is
- 48:19Speaker 6: what I saw right, the cult owner he produced.
- 48:21Speaker 2: He wore, and he also wore the old coach or
- 48:24Speaker 2: says tie.
- 48:25Speaker 6: I think maybe it's because he passed away. Yeah, yeah,
- 48:27Speaker 6: that's what it was. I was as a Patriot fan.
- 48:29Speaker 6: I was like, are you yeah? He won three super
- 48:32Speaker 6: Bowls with the Patriots.
- 48:33Speaker 2: I think he feels like he's a cult more than
- 48:35Speaker 2: he does a Patriot maybe from time there was he
- 48:39Speaker 2: there longer. He was there longer, but didn't win the championships.
- 48:41Speaker 6: He won one in nine Okay, good point, but he
- 48:45Speaker 6: won three and obviously he's the snow kick, the snow kick. Yeah,
- 48:49Speaker 6: the first super Bowl, the Carolina Super Bowl. He won
- 48:52Speaker 6: two super Bowls for the Patriots.
- 48:53Speaker 2: I felt the same way. I felt like he was
- 48:55Speaker 2: very more.
- 48:56Speaker 6: It was more cultsy just because it was longer.
- 48:59Speaker 2: Just from what I've seen, Oh he got you got it?
- 49:01Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, when he was like just his But they
- 49:04Speaker 2: don't think about that is they don't go on as
- 49:05Speaker 2: players Baseball, you do you pick a team, NFL, you
- 49:07Speaker 2: don't you pick a sport. Football, It's always play football.
- 49:10Speaker 2: For some reason. Interesting, they always picked football. Yeah, you
- 49:14Speaker 2: know who was cool?
- 49:15Speaker 3: Luke? Luke? Like it just seems like just from his
- 49:20Speaker 3: speech and people talking about him, seems like he's a
- 49:24Speaker 3: very solid individual.
- 49:25Speaker 2: So we interviewed him at Super Bowl No, no, yeah,
- 49:31Speaker 2: two years ago Castle and I did, Oh you guys did? Yes? Yes, yes,
- 49:36Speaker 2: oh damn, I remember we were talking about Vinitary.
- 49:39Speaker 6: Maybe I saw in Nashville last year.
- 49:43Speaker 2: We interviewed Luke Lee two years ago. Yes, but Castle
- 49:46Speaker 2: knows him. Oh yeah, Castle knows everybody, everybody, and so yeah,
- 49:50Speaker 2: he was really just like normal and nice. Yes, and
- 49:52Speaker 2: he's also going to be I believe Netflix's main football guy. Really,
- 49:57Speaker 2: he just got hired as I think the main guy Netflix,
- 49:59Speaker 2: to be their number one analysts.
- 50:02Speaker 3: Okay, how many games are they gonna do this year?
- 50:06Speaker 3: I don't know, like two and they only did, like, yeah,
- 50:08Speaker 3: a couple last year.
- 50:09Speaker 6: Yeah, he is Netflix's lead guy man.
- 50:12Speaker 2: So yeah, other thing and then we can be done.
- 50:16Speaker 2: I zoomed in on the Madden NFL twenty seven soundtrack
- 50:20Speaker 2: to see all the bands are on there, and I
- 50:21Speaker 2: can read some of them Metallica, White Stripe Sticks, Motorhead, Ozzie,
- 50:24Speaker 2: the Who, Tons more. I zoomed in though to see
- 50:27Speaker 2: if your band made it, Brandon, Oh.
- 50:29Speaker 5: Nice, it's did you make it?
- 50:30Speaker 4: So it's all it's our song is only when you
- 50:34Speaker 4: play the Titans and it's like you're on this.
- 50:37Speaker 2: This issue's game.
- 50:39Speaker 4: Yeah, it's it's on from We signed an eight year
- 50:42Speaker 4: deal with EA.
- 50:43Speaker 2: Do you guys know this by the way, yes, yeah, yes, okay,
- 50:46Speaker 2: can you just start over then for people?
- 50:47Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 50:48Speaker 4: So me and my buddy we have this like hype
- 50:52Speaker 4: rock project called Outskirts together, and we teamed up with
- 50:56Speaker 4: the Titans in twenty twenty to right the theme song.
- 51:01Speaker 4: And the theme song was it was called get Loud,
- 51:04Speaker 4: Tighten Up. So anytime they scored a touchdown was like doo.
- 51:07Speaker 5: Doo ooh dodo you know.
- 51:09Speaker 4: Did they play in the stadium too, Yeah, so anytime
- 51:12Speaker 4: they would score a touchdown at the stadium or anything,
- 51:15Speaker 4: they would play it.
- 51:16Speaker 5: And so they had that song for five years.
- 51:18Speaker 4: I don't think it's their theme song anymore though, But
- 51:21Speaker 4: on Madden, whenever you play the Titans and they score touchdown,
- 51:24Speaker 4: the crowd's like.
- 51:25Speaker 3: Boo boo ooh oh that's cool.
- 51:27Speaker 2: Yeah that's in Madden.
- 51:28Speaker 5: That's cool.
- 51:29Speaker 3: And you get paid every time.
- 51:30Speaker 6: Yeah, that's was that the one that you signed like
- 51:32Speaker 6: twenty bucks?
- 51:33Speaker 2: Now that's cubs.
- 51:35Speaker 3: That's a bad one.
- 51:37Speaker 2: So listen to this, because Brandon will never talk about himself,
- 51:40Speaker 2: like you can't get them talk about himself. And let's
- 51:41Speaker 2: this to me and I can use it. That's the
- 51:42Speaker 2: only time he talking about him in calf whenever I
- 51:44Speaker 2: can use.
- 51:45Speaker 3: It for me.
- 51:46Speaker 2: So his duo is called out Skirts, but there's no
- 51:49Speaker 2: I in Outskirts, so it's O U T s k rts. Okay,
- 51:53Speaker 2: it's too expensive for another letter they had to pick try. Yeah,
- 51:57Speaker 2: So they have a song called Let's do This twenty
- 51:58Speaker 2: nine million plays. This is just one. This is just
- 52:02Speaker 2: Spotify and point.
- 52:03Speaker 3: And that's not the Titans one.
- 52:04Speaker 2: No, this is just on Spotify twenty nine million, twenty
- 52:07Speaker 2: nine million born for this seven million?
- 52:11Speaker 3: What what are those used for?
- 52:12Speaker 2: We could be like, well, people are just playing them.
- 52:14Speaker 2: First of all, I don't know.
- 52:16Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 52:17Speaker 2: We could be legends five million, Move out of the
- 52:20Speaker 2: Way one million, Get Loud, Tighten Up? Three point eight million,
- 52:24Speaker 2: Dan Dude, can't slow me Down? Two point two million,
- 52:27Speaker 2: Ready to Go? One point seven million.
- 52:30Speaker 3: Geez.
- 52:31Speaker 2: And this is just like his side project.
- 52:35Speaker 6: Yeah yeah, and then do you still do the YouTube
- 52:38Speaker 6: thing the kids a little rockers?
- 52:41Speaker 5: Dude, we struck out with that big time man, like.
- 52:44Speaker 3: Do you know about the little Rockers?
- 52:45Speaker 6: Okay, I turn it on still every now and then
- 52:48Speaker 6: with the kids at home.
- 52:48Speaker 5: That's awesome.
- 52:49Speaker 4: Man, Like, dude, they will not let us monetize, like
- 52:51Speaker 4: they say, it's like this is not original content.
- 52:54Speaker 5: I'm like, what are you talking about?
- 52:57Speaker 4: And people are all that's why it's it's crazy, Like
- 53:00Speaker 4: people are all like out there with AI doing stuff
- 53:03Speaker 4: that's not original and they're able to monetize.
- 53:06Speaker 5: You know, it's crazy.
- 53:07Speaker 3: Can go lobby?
- 53:07Speaker 6: I love that, dude?
- 53:09Speaker 2: Twenty nine million?
- 53:13Speaker 4: So are people using this for different so they use
- 53:16Speaker 4: it like it gets a lot of placements, like in sports,
- 53:19Speaker 4: like a million stadiums use it once a year.
- 53:22Speaker 6: Once a year.
- 53:23Speaker 5: Cool.
- 53:24Speaker 3: It sounds like a good like.
- 53:25Speaker 4: Sports highlight reel. Yeah, yeah, that's kind of why we
- 53:28Speaker 4: started it. Like there's a lot of sports, seems like
- 53:31Speaker 4: the Braves. Like I get a lot of videos from
- 53:33Speaker 4: friends if they're at a Braves game, they play let's
- 53:36Speaker 4: do this that's all yeah, like seventh inning stretch, you know,
- 53:41Speaker 4: which is really cool.
- 53:43Speaker 5: So yeah, we just keep putting out music.
- 53:45Speaker 2: And more than that, he does have themes long do
- 53:46Speaker 2: you guys know that I knew that, Okay, just make
- 53:51Speaker 2: the skirts with that. And he got cubs on that
- 53:53Speaker 2: one though, because I was like, dude, I give you
- 53:55Speaker 2: like a couple hundred bucks when we do this, and
- 53:57Speaker 2: he's like, yeah, I pat them a couple hundred bucks out.
- 53:58Speaker 2: Sorry buddy, you know what?
- 54:00Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 54:00Speaker 4: Hey, that theme song is literally Bobby going, dude, I
- 54:06Speaker 4: need your help.
- 54:06Speaker 2: Man.
- 54:06Speaker 4: We're launching this thing with DraftKings twenty five Whistles. I
- 54:10Speaker 4: don't know, maybe this is the theme song. Go uh,
- 54:13Speaker 4: this is a podcast called twenty five Whistles Tucking Football
- 54:18Speaker 4: and they all wear a whistle like the exact thing
- 54:21Speaker 4: that the theme song is is what he's saying.
- 54:23Speaker 5: So I was just like, all right, I'm just gonna
- 54:25Speaker 5: do it that.
- 54:26Speaker 3: When you finally got back to him, we're stealing your
- 54:28Speaker 3: stories on interviews.
- 54:29Speaker 2: Yeah, no, we work together. It's all working. It's a game, guys.
- 54:34Speaker 3: All right.
