- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you, Thank you for listening to us.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Ryan Air on Air with a Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:09Speaker 1: At two point seven Kiss FM. Bartender, I was out
- 0:14Speaker 1: over there weekend. I had to go to a birthday party.
- 0:16Speaker 1: I fake drank. Have you done that recently? Barking a bartender?
- 0:20Speaker 1: I fake drank. I pretended, I mean I was drinking and.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Did that when I was pregnant. I didn't want people
- 0:24Speaker 2: to know I was pregnant.
- 0:26Speaker 1: I did it just because I didn't want them to
- 0:28Speaker 1: because like, if you have nothing or you're just came
- 0:30Speaker 1: around what looks like water, why are you not drinking? Yeah,
- 0:34Speaker 1: so I did a fake I don't even like sparkling water,
- 0:37Speaker 1: but sparkling water in a lime wedge. Just carry carry
- 0:42Speaker 1: that around, bartender. I'll have that same thing, you know,
- 0:45Speaker 1: the special you got me, you got you got to
- 0:48Speaker 1: have the usual. Anyway, Good morning, Good to have you
- 0:52Speaker 1: with us this morning. So the iPhone has new.
- 0:55Speaker 3: Software, Yes it does.
- 0:59Speaker 1: Did alarm is different?
- 1:02Speaker 3: Yes it is?
- 1:02Speaker 4: It is.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Yeah, I can't turn it off.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Why you have to slide it? If you want to off,
- 1:06Speaker 2: you have the slide.
- 1:08Speaker 1: What happened? What happened? Something happens? Then it either keeps
- 1:12Speaker 1: going or then it pops back on again.
- 1:14Speaker 3: That's funny.
- 1:15Speaker 1: What do you have to do?
- 1:16Speaker 3: Well, there's snooze.
- 1:17Speaker 2: You're gonna have the big orange snooze button.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Yeah, or you have to that's too much right on
- 1:24Speaker 1: the side.
- 1:25Speaker 3: I think that's the point. It's supposed to, like wake
- 1:26Speaker 3: you up.
- 1:27Speaker 1: But guys, I don't know what I'm talking to. Apples,
- 1:32Speaker 1: Please don't change the software of like the things that
- 1:35Speaker 1: are so routine to us. There's a consistency. There's a
- 1:39Speaker 1: consistency factor that I need, and I need simplicity, especially
- 1:44Speaker 1: with the like turn off the alarm function in the
- 1:48Speaker 1: software first thing, and the more you cannot change it all.
- 1:51Speaker 1: All the animation looks different, the letters are different, everything's different.
- 1:56Speaker 3: It's good.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Change is good. It's not. We can't just stay in
- 2:01Speaker 2: the old iOS one. Imagine if you've never evolved.
- 2:04Speaker 1: No, I'm going to take a stand and there's going
- 2:06Speaker 1: to be a revolution, an iOS revolution, and that is
- 2:10Speaker 1: it's too much. It's too much. Please just let it
- 2:15Speaker 1: be for a while. Certainly with these things that are routine,
- 2:19Speaker 1: the alarm needs to stay the way the alarm is forever.
- 2:22Speaker 1: I want vintage, my vintage alarm back. You'n't even tried it, Tanya.
- 2:27Speaker 4: No, I didn't even notice.
- 2:28Speaker 5: I guess I just roll with the punches because I
- 2:32Speaker 5: didn't notice.
- 2:32Speaker 4: But I agree with you.
- 2:33Speaker 3: I don't just realize the other days that.
- 2:35Speaker 2: We're like, oh yeah, I was like that has been
- 2:39Speaker 2: around for years.
- 2:40Speaker 3: You're like, I had no idea that you could.
- 2:42Speaker 5: Oh my god, what is it that you could search
- 2:44Speaker 5: your text messages for keywords?
- 2:47Speaker 1: I don't think I've done that.
- 2:49Speaker 5: Oh, it's amazing, it's amazing.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Maybe this has been happening for a long time. But
- 2:55Speaker 1: anytime I create a group and then sometimes I just
- 2:58Speaker 1: want one of those people. My message goes to the
- 3:00Speaker 1: group and I have to say, disregard other David.
- 3:04Speaker 2: It takes two seconds to scroll and find the one
- 3:06Speaker 2: conversation that you need to find.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Yeah, it takes two seconds to slide open my alarm
- 3:10Speaker 1: in the morning. I don't want it iOS slow it down.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Please slow your iOS is.
- 3:17Speaker 3: Up and you're gonna be fine.
- 3:20Speaker 1: No, it's since my day off wrong. It tweaks my day.
- 3:22Speaker 1: It tweaks my day for the day, and so I.
- 3:24Speaker 3: Not the alarm's fault.
- 3:26Speaker 1: It is No, it's not.
- 3:27Speaker 3: It is if you're in control of your emotions.
- 3:30Speaker 4: I am with Ryan on this one. I am with
- 3:31Speaker 4: Ryan on this one.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Now it sounds like Minayear's resolution right there. It's like
- 3:36Speaker 1: talking to a mirror that has audio. I'm here for
- 3:38Speaker 1: you so we have access to all the great shows
- 3:41Speaker 1: that are coming up. Bruno Mars made the announcement of
- 3:44Speaker 1: his album, made the announcement of his world tour, and
- 3:46Speaker 1: we got a bunch of tickets. I've got another pair
- 3:49Speaker 1: of tickets to give away. In just a little bit.
- 3:51Speaker 1: You can understand why there was craziness to buy those tickets.
- 3:54Speaker 1: And we want to be the place that you can
- 3:56Speaker 1: come to when you hear about those tours and concerts
- 3:58Speaker 1: and albums, to get the tickets for free before your friends.
- 4:01Speaker 1: If you want to brag or not, Yeah, just be
- 4:04Speaker 1: subtle about it. Harry styles Now has announced We saw
- 4:08Speaker 1: this coming. There was speculation, but when there was that
- 4:12Speaker 1: much deliberate speculation, we knew it was happening. Harry Styles
- 4:15Speaker 1: Now has announced the title of his new single. He
- 4:19Speaker 1: made this announcement on Instagram. Did you see it? It's
- 4:22Speaker 1: gonna be called Aperture.
- 4:24Speaker 3: That's right?
- 4:25Speaker 1: What does okay, sissany that's right. What does aperture mean?
- 4:29Speaker 3: We were we were actually looking this up to make sure.
- 4:32Speaker 1: I thought you were going to say, of course it's
- 4:34Speaker 1: aperture means.
- 4:36Speaker 3: To dumb it down. I believe it meaning.
- 4:38Speaker 2: What he's trying to get to is like seeing light
- 4:40Speaker 2: through a lens. And you get more specific, right, Tanya,
- 4:44Speaker 2: Like it's like an actual lens of like a.
- 4:46Speaker 3: Camera, a camera lens aperture.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Did you know aperture? I looked at Ut said it
- 4:53Speaker 1: to me like, yeah, you know, you know it's like
- 4:55Speaker 1: a camera.
- 4:56Speaker 4: Leg Well, when you tell someone you know that they
- 4:58Speaker 4: they twist that thing. You see them twisted the thing
- 5:00Speaker 4: that's it?
- 5:01Speaker 1: It is the lens zoom, the watcher, Like, what are
- 5:05Speaker 1: you talking about? Glibly, I'm hearing as if you use
- 5:08Speaker 1: this term all the time.
- 5:10Speaker 4: I didn't know what the word was until he posted this.
- 5:12Speaker 1: A space through which light passes in an optical or
- 5:15Speaker 1: photographic instrument, especially the variable opening by which light enters
- 5:19Speaker 1: a camera.
- 5:19Speaker 4: You light through a lens.
- 5:21Speaker 1: I'm just saying Harry had to look that up to
- 5:22Speaker 1: at one point. The Instagram post it says aperture January
- 5:28Speaker 1: twenty third, zero zero zero zero UK. So there you
- 5:34Speaker 1: have it. Yeah, picture, I learned something today. Now, when
- 5:37Speaker 1: you learn a new term like that, I need that's
- 5:41Speaker 1: not gonna stick with me. That definition so long, it's
- 5:43Speaker 1: not gonna stick with me immediately. I have to see it,
- 5:46Speaker 1: use it, and be around it many times before it
- 5:48Speaker 1: be part of my vocabulary.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Yeah, but you know this is going to be one
- 5:51Speaker 2: of those things where we're just always gonna like Ed
- 5:54Speaker 2: Ed Sharon teaching us Azizum like O light another one too.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Anyway, Friday zero zero zero UK means four pm Pacific
- 6:04Speaker 1: on Thursday, Thursday, four pm Pacific. We will get to
- 6:08Speaker 1: it's here, It's Kiss FM. Stay tuned. You know, I
- 6:12Speaker 1: love it when stuff happens in a while and we
- 6:14Speaker 1: can get into it. Tanya was just telling me we're
- 6:18Speaker 1: gonna not talk about what we're gonna talk about and
- 6:20Speaker 1: talk about you, Tanya, because you were just telling me
- 6:22Speaker 1: here this morning at Kiss FM that you were gonna
- 6:25Speaker 1: bind and you had to pick up Sonny's poop with
- 6:28Speaker 1: your bare hands?
- 6:29Speaker 4: No yeah, I mean was.
- 6:31Speaker 1: There bare hands or with a piece of paper in
- 6:33Speaker 1: between your bare hands.
- 6:35Speaker 5: I had absolutely nothing in my bag, and my dog
- 6:39Speaker 5: goes once a day and she already had her once
- 6:41Speaker 5: the day, so I didn't even think, and I was
- 6:43Speaker 5: running errands and I could have been on sunset and
- 6:46Speaker 5: vine like, that's how many people were around me. So
- 6:48Speaker 5: when she went, I was like, oh my gosh, everybody's
- 6:51Speaker 5: looking at me to pick this up, and I have
- 6:53Speaker 5: nothing to pick it up with. So I went down
- 6:55Speaker 5: with my bare hands and I threw it in the gutter.
- 6:59Speaker 1: To check her fingernails.
- 7:04Speaker 3: Lonilf like, you couldn't find a leaf. I've done a leaf.
- 7:07Speaker 1: There you go. That's what I want to talk about, Tanya.
- 7:11Speaker 1: You need to be aware of your surroundings. There's always
- 7:13Speaker 1: something you can my guy, there was nothing.
- 7:16Speaker 4: And there was people watching me, like I could.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Feel for a tissue. Anybody if there were so many people,
- 7:22Speaker 2: does anyone.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Have a bath if you're at Coachella with all of
- 7:26Speaker 1: these people watching you. Now that also makes me think, huh.
- 7:32Speaker 1: If people weren't watching you, would you've left it there? Yeah?
- 7:34Speaker 3: She would have left it.
- 7:35Speaker 5: If people were around, I probably would have left it.
- 7:40Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Okay, now you had nothing on you, how did you
- 7:42Speaker 1: get your hands clean?
- 7:43Speaker 5: So where I was, I knew exactly where the closest
- 7:45Speaker 5: bathroom was. It was like three blocks from where I was.
- 7:49Speaker 5: I walked straight to the near his bathroom and wash
- 7:52Speaker 5: my hands.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Everybody knows this, Tanya, you should never throw dog poop
- 7:56Speaker 1: in a gutter because it washes untreated into stormed rains,
- 8:00Speaker 1: polluting local water, wasys arming aquatic life and posing health
- 8:03Speaker 1: risks to people and other pets like mine. So watch
- 8:06Speaker 1: your stuff. Everybody knows that, not that I could see it.
- 8:11Speaker 5: Guys, I don't think you know is panicked And I
- 8:13Speaker 5: normally always pick pick up my dog's poop.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Except you threw it in the gutter to now poison
- 8:21Speaker 1: all of us. You need to save yourself.
- 8:25Speaker 4: It was very stressful.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Saved yourself today. Sage yourself all right. Coming up next,
- 8:31Speaker 1: I was, you know, watching rams game, and we had
- 8:33Speaker 1: spicy wings and not spicy wings, and I said to
- 8:35Speaker 1: Tad my butt, I'm like, I can't have spicy wings.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Do you like peppers? Which color pepper gives you the
- 8:40Speaker 1: biggest immunity boost. I'm I'm running a deficit on peppers.
- 8:44Speaker 1: But I'll tell you what it is. Next. Who can
- 8:46Speaker 1: take spicy the most here?
- 8:48Speaker 3: Not me?
- 8:49Speaker 1: No, I'm out, I can't. I used to be able
- 8:51Speaker 1: to tiny spice.
- 8:51Speaker 4: Yeah, I could do a little spice.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Sofia the intern spice here and there.
- 8:55Speaker 4: It depends.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Uh, well, these are not spicy actually, but there are
- 8:58Speaker 1: peppers now, bell peppers. They cause big indigestion for me.
- 9:03Speaker 1: I get major gas for bell peppers. It took me
- 9:06Speaker 1: half of my life to discover this, or more than
- 9:08Speaker 1: half probably. And they're not for everybody bell peppers. But
- 9:13Speaker 1: bell peppers are the highest in vitamin C and they
- 9:18Speaker 1: have more vitamin A than most antioxidants. I love it.
- 9:21Speaker 3: I love bell peppers.
- 9:23Speaker 1: They don't work for me, even when you faheat of them.
- 9:27Speaker 1: They don't work for me.
- 9:28Speaker 3: What do you mean work for you?
- 9:30Speaker 1: They get into my system and cause disruption.
- 9:33Speaker 2: Maybe you need to build a tolerance for it. No,
- 9:35Speaker 2: you know you cut something out too much, then you
- 9:37Speaker 2: just work your way back into the bell pepper world.
- 9:41Speaker 1: No, it's no, no. No. Red is the best, then orange,
- 9:47Speaker 1: dan yellow than green is the least. But they do
- 9:49Speaker 1: have a lot of good things for you if you
- 9:51Speaker 1: can get them in your system. Now a quote today
- 9:53Speaker 1: on this Wednesday, Sisney, January twenty first, what is not
- 9:58Speaker 1: meant for you? Will this to point you a thousand
- 10:01Speaker 1: times until you understand? Yeah, that's a treatment for you.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Here's you, Billy Eilish. After seven o'clock, I want to
- 10:10Speaker 1: talk about little anxiety. Anxiety at the gym. We'll talk
- 10:15Speaker 1: about in a second. It's a real issue. Sisney first
- 10:17Speaker 1: with the headlines FM. Headlines with Sisney Well.
- 10:21Speaker 2: Starting February first, if you don't have a real ID
- 10:24Speaker 2: or a valid passport, you'll need to pay forty five
- 10:27Speaker 2: dollars fee at the airport to get on your flight.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Hundreds of protesters gathered in downtown LA yesterday afternoon as
- 10:34Speaker 2: part of the nationwide Free America walkout. The La County
- 10:37Speaker 2: Library is launching a free in person tutoring program to
- 10:40Speaker 2: support students in first through sixth grade. And Harry Styles
- 10:44Speaker 2: announced his new single, Aperture, will drop tomorrow at four
- 10:48Speaker 2: pm LA time. It's the first single off his new
- 10:50Speaker 2: album Kiss All the Time Disco Occasionally It's Kiss FM.
- 10:55Speaker 1: There's so much that happens in the gym for me.
- 10:57Speaker 1: I told you about that guy that always takes his
- 11:00Speaker 1: shirt off, and then I saw him out on my
- 11:02Speaker 1: jogging path and he had a shirt off. Again, it's
- 11:05Speaker 1: not even with him. He doesn't even have a shirt
- 11:06Speaker 1: with him, Like at least have your shirt tucked in
- 11:09Speaker 1: your short Yeah. And then when he approached me running,
- 11:13Speaker 1: he was running straight for me, jogging. Then when I
- 11:16Speaker 1: got close to me, turning, he side strided. You know
- 11:19Speaker 1: that side stride run? Like what I said, I don't
- 11:22Speaker 1: know what you're trying to do to me. I'm insecure
- 11:24Speaker 1: already with your body, bro, Like, what's up? So he's
- 11:28Speaker 1: he's seeking me out. It's always without his shirt.
- 11:31Speaker 2: I don't get the shirtless runners in LA or Orange
- 11:34Speaker 2: County or wherever you are.
- 11:36Speaker 5: That's the best thing to be shirtless when you're running.
- 11:39Speaker 1: It's too BRAGGYO. Yeah, it's too conceited for me. And
- 11:43Speaker 1: you side straddle when you pass. Come on, man, Already
- 11:47Speaker 1: in my head, I'm already losing sleep over you. Now
- 11:49Speaker 1: you're losing sleep, Sophia, what happened at the gym with
- 11:51Speaker 1: the equipment.
- 11:53Speaker 7: So one of the things that I told myself for
- 11:54Speaker 7: twenty twenty six was to get into the gym by myself,
- 11:58Speaker 7: without like any friends or anybody kind of helping me
- 12:00Speaker 7: along the way. And I go to the gym and
- 12:04Speaker 7: I try my best to learn how to do any
- 12:06Speaker 7: of the machines, like for the legs or your back
- 12:09Speaker 7: or whatever.
- 12:10Speaker 3: But I don't know how to do any of it.
- 12:12Speaker 7: And I just feel so stupid because when I go
- 12:14Speaker 7: to work out on my campus gym at UCR, like
- 12:17Speaker 7: everybody knows what they're doing and they all have like
- 12:19Speaker 7: these muscles and they're just grunting and doing this, and
- 12:21Speaker 7: I just end up doing cardio on the treadmill.
- 12:24Speaker 1: Well, I've been on the treadmill before. Also, when you
- 12:26Speaker 1: go to the treadmill and it's the one that it's
- 12:27Speaker 1: like open, but it doesn't work, and you have no
- 12:29Speaker 1: one tells you it doesn't work, but you have to
- 12:31Speaker 1: find out it doesn't work in front of all those
- 12:32Speaker 1: people that already knew. They didn't tell you. Rude. Isn't
- 12:35Speaker 1: there a diagram on the side of the equipment.
- 12:37Speaker 3: We don't have that.
- 12:38Speaker 7: We have like QR codes that you scan and it
- 12:41Speaker 7: gives you like a video tutorial.
- 12:43Speaker 3: Gosh, no wonder you.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Don't go to the gym, stick to the cardiols.
- 12:48Speaker 1: You know what I can tell you about building muscle?
- 12:51Speaker 1: Please tell us not much? Are you the expert? Come on,
- 12:54Speaker 1: I'm this muscle.
- 12:55Speaker 3: Yeah, I do know it.
- 12:57Speaker 4: You show it off.
- 12:58Speaker 3: We've seen it more.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Can George of Gold this summer I'm doing. I'm just
- 13:03Speaker 1: really show you some some some things. But but listen,
- 13:06Speaker 1: here's the thing with muscle, uh and a cardio Well,
- 13:08Speaker 1: I've learned. So if you go grab like two and
- 13:10Speaker 1: a half or five pound weights, walk on an incline
- 13:12Speaker 1: and just do curls and things with the light weights,
- 13:15Speaker 1: and you get it all in and it's time saver
- 13:17Speaker 1: traffic like it's fishing. I'm telling you work. I mean,
- 13:21Speaker 1: it's good and you get more cardio burn. You go
- 13:23Speaker 1: incline with some weights in your hands, do some punches,
- 13:26Speaker 1: do some curls, do some kickbacks, do some over the heads,
- 13:28Speaker 1: solid and when you're going up inclient it's good for
- 13:31Speaker 1: the legs, good for the the you know the trunk.
- 13:33Speaker 3: Who's the one showing off now at the gym?
- 13:36Speaker 1: No, no, no, I'm just telling you what I've learned. Checked
- 13:37Speaker 1: me out my pound weight, my two pound pink weight. Hey,
- 13:42Speaker 1: so someone asked me the other day, Hey, what kind
- 13:44Speaker 1: of what kind of dater are you? Like?
- 13:47Speaker 6: What? What? What?
- 13:47Speaker 1: I don't even know what that means? But what kind
- 13:49Speaker 1: of a dater are you? Okay? And I didn't know
- 13:52Speaker 1: what to say because I don't know what the categories
- 13:54Speaker 1: of daters are, but I said, I think I'm romantic,
- 13:57Speaker 1: like I think I like and I can't figure out
- 13:59Speaker 1: something as if I do it for me or if
- 14:01Speaker 1: I do it for them. But I like to do
- 14:05Speaker 1: like things like detailed things.
- 14:07Speaker 2: Yes, I think you do grand gestures and things like
- 14:09Speaker 2: that when you're dating and you are romantic from what
- 14:12Speaker 2: you've shared with.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Us, and even sometimes when I'm starting to date, I
- 14:15Speaker 1: like that too, And I don't know if that scares
- 14:17Speaker 1: people off or not. But putting that aside, there's something
- 14:20Speaker 1: called retromancing, which, as I understand it is, just is
- 14:24Speaker 1: peeling it back to the basics of what romance was
- 14:27Speaker 1: in the movies or in TV back in the day,
- 14:29Speaker 1: right sysity exactly.
- 14:31Speaker 2: I think homemade meals instead of making dinner reservations, more
- 14:37Speaker 2: like actually writing like with like handwriting love notes versus
- 14:42Speaker 2: texting or versus big like over the top gifts, like
- 14:46Speaker 2: the sentimental stuff is what's really driving this whole retromancing theme.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Now, this is they refer to Friends episodes. Yeah, you know,
- 14:55Speaker 1: people are watching a generation that didn't see it in
- 14:57Speaker 1: first run on TV now watching it and rerun And
- 15:01Speaker 1: I have to say there is something to that that
- 15:05Speaker 1: is great. Uh do you have to sort of pick
- 15:08Speaker 1: what you can do? I mean, look, tell me what
- 15:11Speaker 1: you think. Okay, I haven't done this yet, but tell
- 15:13Speaker 1: me what you think. Ok. I meet somebody, invite her
- 15:18Speaker 1: over for dinner. Now, I might order in. I might
- 15:20Speaker 1: not cook. I might order in. I might have something
- 15:24Speaker 1: that's ready. I'm I have a panic attack when I'm
- 15:27Speaker 1: trying to actually cook and talk and you know, be
- 15:32Speaker 1: like be datable. So I have anxiety over that. So
- 15:35Speaker 1: the food might happen at home, candles are a lit,
- 15:37Speaker 1: music's playing. Then after dinner. I want to know what
- 15:40Speaker 1: I'm thinking I should do after dinner. I want to know,
- 15:43Speaker 1: play Vinyl.
- 15:44Speaker 3: Yes, I love that.
- 15:45Speaker 1: Play Vinyl, like turn on a record that's very retro.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Would that be cool?
- 15:51Speaker 8: Like?
- 15:51Speaker 1: Would that be cool?
- 15:52Speaker 3: I think so? Yes, vinyls are in.
- 15:55Speaker 1: Yeah, Hey, I want to go. I don't know how
- 15:57Speaker 1: you say.
- 15:58Speaker 3: It, or say it, don't say anything, just playing the music.
- 16:01Speaker 1: I'll be right back. What are you going to do? Change? No,
- 16:05Speaker 1: I'll be right Packers can play vinyl and drop the No.
- 16:08Speaker 2: No, don't say that you on the record, Sean Raquela, you.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Don't like that.
- 16:16Speaker 4: It was just funny how you said it.
- 16:17Speaker 3: But I have a record player. I love Vinyls, so yeah.
- 16:20Speaker 1: I think it's a I think it's a retro romance move. Yeah,
- 16:24Speaker 1: all right, coming up in a second. By the way,
- 16:26Speaker 1: they don't last song those records. You gotta flip that
- 16:28Speaker 1: thing ten minutes. Yes, yes, FM, Elizabeth. It's hard to say,
- 16:33Speaker 1: not say Elizabeth. But Elizabeth is on the phone here
- 16:37Speaker 1: at one eight hundred and five to two oh one
- 16:39Speaker 1: O two seven, So she says she prefers Gallantines to
- 16:43Speaker 1: Valentine's And you're in a relationship, Elizabeth, Is that right?
- 16:46Speaker 6: Yes?
- 16:47Speaker 9: I am.
- 16:48Speaker 1: So you are with somebody, but you don't want to
- 16:51Speaker 1: celebrate them in a typical Valentine's Day way. You'd rather
- 16:53Speaker 1: go out with your girls for Gallentine's Day on that night. Why?
- 16:58Speaker 9: Well, because his idea Valentine's Day it was like dinner
- 17:01Speaker 9: in a movie, which sounds nice, but like, I don't know,
- 17:04Speaker 9: we had this whole plan of like going out and
- 17:09Speaker 9: doing like bar crawls and then going back to someone's
- 17:11Speaker 9: apartment watching romantic movies with wine and pajamas, and I
- 17:15Speaker 9: just it's so much more fun and I'm like, if
- 17:18Speaker 9: I just want if I'm just yeah.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Right, I'm just I'm not saying you're right. I'm saying
- 17:24Speaker 1: there it is that you think it's more fun. This
- 17:29Speaker 1: is the problem. Like what he hears, it's more fun
- 17:33Speaker 1: to be out with your girls than the guy you're with.
- 17:36Speaker 1: That doesn't make anything feel good.
- 17:39Speaker 9: That's true, it doesn't. It definitely doesn't. I just think that.
- 17:42Speaker 8: I'm like, I it's it's so much fun to do
- 17:45Speaker 8: that with my girlfriends.
- 17:46Speaker 9: I guess it's maybe not more fun.
- 17:47Speaker 8: I don't know, because I haven't gone on dinner date
- 17:50Speaker 8: and a movie in a while, so I guess I
- 17:52Speaker 8: don't totally know.
- 17:53Speaker 1: But I'm gonna save you a little time in life.
- 17:59Speaker 1: I'm going to save you time in your lifespan. You
- 18:03Speaker 1: are not into the guy. Yeah, this is one of
- 18:07Speaker 1: the signs that leads to other signs that you are
- 18:11Speaker 1: not into the guy. Now, I can give you my
- 18:14Speaker 1: address for the thank you card, or you can just
- 18:16Speaker 1: call back like whatever, you're a call okay, see you
- 18:25Speaker 1: know it, you even know it? Yeah, all right, Lizabeth,
- 18:28Speaker 1: happy and Gallatis day.
- 18:30Speaker 9: Thank you for listening, Thank you so much, Thank you
- 18:33Speaker 9: your buying.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Yes on Air with Ryan Seacrest. Now follow me on
- 18:43Speaker 1: this for a second, so AirPods now offer a live translation.
- 18:47Speaker 1: The question is, can you eavesdrop on somebody that you
- 18:50Speaker 1: think might be talking about you in front of you
- 18:53Speaker 1: in another language. I think this happens to me, and
- 18:57Speaker 1: I'm feeling not so guilty about doing it if they
- 19:01Speaker 1: are talking about me, But then I will feel guilty
- 19:04Speaker 1: if I tap into like a personal conversation they're having.
- 19:07Speaker 1: I'm not supposed to listen in to. It's great technology,
- 19:10Speaker 1: and I get it's use, but what if someone's talking
- 19:14Speaker 1: about you and it's another language that you should have
- 19:17Speaker 1: the ability to understand. It's kind of not fair.
- 19:20Speaker 3: And then do you respond to them.
- 19:24Speaker 1: I've played this out and I don't know. I think
- 19:28Speaker 1: there's kind of strength in knowing and then combating what
- 19:33Speaker 1: they're saying by killing them with kindness or killing them
- 19:36Speaker 1: with whatever it is they think you're short of right,
- 19:42Speaker 1: or maybe you need to let them know. It depends
- 19:43Speaker 1: on the severeness of what it is that they're ragging
- 19:47Speaker 1: on you about behind your back. And I don't know
- 19:49Speaker 1: why I think this is happening all the time, but
- 19:52Speaker 1: it has crossed my mind. More often than it has not.
- 19:56Speaker 1: So is it bad to eavesdrop?
- 19:59Speaker 2: But you're not he's dropping, they're talking, They're having a
- 20:01Speaker 2: conversation out in public.
- 20:03Speaker 3: They don't know that you don't speak that language.
- 20:06Speaker 1: Yep. Well, I mean they probably do, but they also
- 20:09Speaker 1: are doing it thinking I'm not listening. This is what
- 20:12Speaker 1: they would say if I weren't in the room. Kind
- 20:14Speaker 1: of thing. You know, it's kind of is it? Is
- 20:16Speaker 1: it bad to do?
- 20:18Speaker 5: I don't think so. I would use this all the time.
- 20:21Speaker 5: My in laws speak Farsi all the time, and not
- 20:23Speaker 5: because I I don't think they're talking about me, but it.
- 20:25Speaker 4: Just kind of just comes in me be part of
- 20:26Speaker 4: the conversation. Yeah, I'll just put this on the table.
- 20:29Speaker 1: What if they were talking about and you heard them
- 20:31Speaker 1: say something that they might not say to you in
- 20:34Speaker 1: like person, they wouldn't I.
- 20:36Speaker 4: Would let them know that I'm gonna I'm gonna have
- 20:38Speaker 4: it out.
- 20:40Speaker 3: Why don't do that.
- 20:41Speaker 1: I've done this in English before. I was at a
- 20:43Speaker 1: restaurant and this couple was having an argument and I
- 20:45Speaker 1: was with some men. I'm like, let's listen. Oh, and
- 20:47Speaker 1: then I'm translating. It's all in English, but I'm translating
- 20:50Speaker 1: it to her saying, Oh, she's starting a new job,
- 20:53Speaker 1: but she's got to leave the city for like six
- 20:56Speaker 1: months and he hasn't one or two. Wow, that's a move.
- 20:59Speaker 6: Huh.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Yeah, go through the whole thing. I don't know why
- 21:01Speaker 1: we're gonna play match game for Sabruna Mar's tickets in
- 21:04Speaker 1: just a minute. First, Tania is asking, do I believe
- 21:08Speaker 1: that mother knows best? Yeah, my mom's pretty good with though. Okay,
- 21:13Speaker 1: why do you ask?
- 21:14Speaker 5: I have a very important question that I'm going to
- 21:16Speaker 5: get to at the end of this. But Asap Rocky
- 21:19Speaker 5: was being interviewed on a podcast and he revealed that
- 21:22Speaker 5: it was his mom who encouraged him to start dating Rihanna.
- 21:25Speaker 5: They had been friends for nearly a decade before they
- 21:28Speaker 5: entered into a romantic relationship. But Asap even said his
- 21:32Speaker 5: mom would say this when he was dating other women.
- 21:34Speaker 4: She would say, I know you like.
- 21:36Speaker 5: This girl that you're with right now, but I want
- 21:38Speaker 5: you with re Re And he'd be like, Mom, why
- 21:40Speaker 5: do you keep saying that? She doesn't even want me
- 21:42Speaker 5: like that? But mother's no best. And November twenty twenty,
- 21:46Speaker 5: people confirm that they were dating. The two of them
- 21:49Speaker 5: now have welcomed three kids together. So my question to you,
- 21:53Speaker 5: Ryan is does Connie Seacrest say this about anyone in
- 21:56Speaker 5: your life?
- 21:57Speaker 1: There's nobody that she named checks, but she did have
- 22:01Speaker 1: a dream of way back in the day, me going
- 22:08Speaker 1: out with what's her name, Felicity.
- 22:10Speaker 4: Yes, Carrie Russell, I heard.
- 22:14Speaker 1: It several times. You should go to a place where
- 22:17Speaker 1: you're going to run into her this fifteen year when
- 22:19Speaker 1: she was in Felicity or whatever. So, Mom, it's not
- 22:22Speaker 1: how it works. You just don't. Can't just call a
- 22:24Speaker 1: name off of a TV and then all of a
- 22:26Speaker 1: sudden something happens in real life. It's just not how
- 22:29Speaker 1: it works. So there's nobody specifically, but you know, intentionally,
- 22:33Speaker 1: she doesn't really know all the people, right, Like she
- 22:36Speaker 1: doesn't know everybody that's in the place in my orbit
- 22:40Speaker 1: if you will. But when she does meet them, if
- 22:43Speaker 1: I ask for her opinion, she'll give it. If I don't,
- 22:46Speaker 1: she knows not to give it because she doesn't want
- 22:48Speaker 1: to get in the middle of things at this stage.
- 22:49Speaker 5: Oh, I understand, but maybe you should ask her this question, like,
- 22:52Speaker 5: is there somebody in my life or that's been in
- 22:54Speaker 5: my life around for the last decade that you think
- 22:56Speaker 5: would be a good match for me.
- 22:57Speaker 1: Why don't you ask her?
- 22:59Speaker 6: Didn't shit?
- 23:01Speaker 1: So come on your podcast anytime, okay, perfect, All right,
- 23:05Speaker 1: it's time for the match game. So got two contestants
- 23:09Speaker 1: on the line. Got tickets for you to go see
- 23:10Speaker 1: Bruno Mars at Steak. Contest number one is gonna be
- 23:14Speaker 1: Christi here in la Christy. Welcome to the match game,
- 23:16Speaker 1: and thank you for listening to us. Were we on hold? Christy?
- 23:21Speaker 3: Oh yeah, hi?
- 23:23Speaker 1: What was we were like inside the Space Invaders game
- 23:26Speaker 1: there for a second, Christy. Let me introduce you to
- 23:30Speaker 1: contest number two. Ashley, Good morning and thank you for calling.
- 23:33Speaker 1: And Anaheim. Are you ready for Bruno Mars tickets? Yes,
- 23:38Speaker 1: all right, you two, let's get into it. We'll play
- 23:41Speaker 1: one at a time. I'll give you each a phrase
- 23:43Speaker 1: with a blank in it. Whoever gets the most matches
- 23:45Speaker 1: with our panel over here, it's gonna go see Bruno
- 23:49Speaker 1: Mars on stage. We'll start with you, Christy. Great, don't
- 23:52Speaker 1: say anything out loud, Christy, just think about this. What
- 23:56Speaker 1: is the most common word to go with jump?
- 24:00Speaker 8: Jump?
- 24:00Speaker 1: Blank? It could be jump and then you know what
- 24:03Speaker 1: goes with jump? That's what the panel is trying to
- 24:05Speaker 1: figure out so that they match with you. What's the
- 24:08Speaker 1: most common thing you would say after jump? So Christy,
- 24:12Speaker 1: what would it be?
- 24:15Speaker 4: Jump start?
- 24:17Speaker 1: Good one, Sysney, jumpstart.
- 24:20Speaker 3: That's exactly what I said.
- 24:21Speaker 1: Just jump jump Scar Oh, Sophia, jump.
- 24:25Speaker 3: Jump rope, Mikaela jump rope.
- 24:30Speaker 1: Look at you two hopscotching over there. Okay, so you
- 24:34Speaker 1: got what one? Two?
- 24:36Speaker 3: One?
- 24:36Speaker 1: All right, Ashley, it's your turn. You got to get
- 24:39Speaker 1: two to win, one to tie. Yours is don't say
- 24:42Speaker 1: it out loud, yours is blank card, blank card. I
- 24:48Speaker 1: mean this is pretty you seen alright? What did you say, Ashley?
- 24:52Speaker 1: Birthday card, birthday card? I've seen credit card, birthday card?
- 24:57Speaker 1: All right, Sysney, birthday card. You just gotta get one
- 25:01Speaker 1: more to win, Tanya.
- 25:03Speaker 4: I said, playing card.
- 25:06Speaker 1: Okay, it's down to Sophia, I said, credit card. And
- 25:10Speaker 1: it all comes down too. If you get this one,
- 25:14Speaker 1: you win. Otherwise. I don't know what's coming because it's
- 25:18Speaker 1: the time. Mikayla, I said, birthday card. Congratulations, she's like
- 25:24Speaker 1: the Rams finishing over time.
- 25:26Speaker 8: You won.
- 25:26Speaker 1: Congrats, congrats, Chrissy. Yes, I'm gonna play some Bruno Mars
- 25:33Speaker 1: for you coming up and I'll have a ton of them.
- 25:38Speaker 1: All right, Thank you Ashley, Thank you Chrissy for listening
- 25:40Speaker 1: to Kissam.
- 25:41Speaker 3: On air with a Ryan Seacret.
- 25:45Speaker 1: All right, it's because even let's check it. Where do
- 25:48Speaker 1: you stand on this holding a spot in line at
- 25:51Speaker 1: the grocery store. I have asked, I've been with people
- 25:55Speaker 1: that I do this. We have to go back and
- 25:56Speaker 1: get one more thing?
- 25:57Speaker 6: Right?
- 25:58Speaker 1: Is it rude or is it okay? Okay? And what's
- 26:00Speaker 1: the grace period? So here's the story. There's a there's
- 26:02Speaker 1: a guy at the grocery store with his parents and
- 26:04Speaker 1: it was very busy. The lines for the check out
- 26:06Speaker 1: were very long, so his parents asked them to hold
- 26:07Speaker 1: their spot in line. Well, they grabbed the last few items, so,
- 26:11Speaker 1: in other words, they weren't finished yet and they wanted
- 26:13Speaker 1: him to start moving through the line. He gets to
- 26:16Speaker 1: the front and his parents are still not back yet,
- 26:19Speaker 1: and another customer spoke up, much like Sophia did with
- 26:22Speaker 1: Skeletor and Primate with the loud people in front of
- 26:25Speaker 1: it at the movie theater, but spoke up and said, hey,
- 26:27Speaker 1: it's unfair and disrespectful. You can only wait in line
- 26:30Speaker 1: once you've got your stuff. So where do you stand
- 26:33Speaker 1: on that, sisiny depends on how much stuff you're coming
- 26:36Speaker 1: back with. If like you're already there with your shopping cart,
- 26:39Speaker 1: then you're holding your stuff.
- 26:40Speaker 2: If you're there just your body and then all of
- 26:42Speaker 2: a sudden here come as his parents with a ginormous
- 26:44Speaker 2: shopping cart. Then the person behind him is like, I
- 26:47Speaker 2: wouldn't have gone in line behind.
- 26:49Speaker 1: You, So I think you run a risk if you
- 26:53Speaker 1: can hold the spot, go you know whoever else, go
- 26:56Speaker 1: run and get all the things and get back in
- 26:57Speaker 1: time before your spot is up in line. You ran
- 27:02Speaker 1: the risk and you won. But if you aren't back
- 27:06Speaker 1: and your son or your kid is up to the
- 27:09Speaker 1: place at the check out and you're not back yet,
- 27:12Speaker 1: they cannot hold up the line and wait for you
- 27:14Speaker 1: to come back while other customers behind you. You cannot
- 27:17Speaker 1: do that, so you run a risk of having to
- 27:20Speaker 1: go to the back of the line if you do this.
- 27:23Speaker 1: That's where I stand on this, very clearly.
- 27:25Speaker 3: I think so too.
- 27:25Speaker 2: And also people do this at Disneyland and amusement parks,
- 27:28Speaker 2: and this is why people get in fights. Now we're
- 27:30Speaker 2: seeing because you're there'll.
- 27:33Speaker 3: Roll up with like four people. Oh my Mom's up there,
- 27:36Speaker 3: got to get through.
- 27:38Speaker 1: Remind yourself, you're not supposed to fight at Disneyland's the
- 27:40Speaker 1: happiest place on earth. Remind yourselves. Let's get some talkbacks here,
- 27:45Speaker 1: shall we just run it? You can send us these
- 27:48Speaker 1: inside the Ieart radio app anytime about anything. So Tany
- 27:50Speaker 1: was telling us about the whale tails. This is your
- 27:54Speaker 1: underwear sticks above your waistline in the back?
- 27:57Speaker 4: Yeah you alos?
- 27:59Speaker 1: So? Is it a trend? Is it not a trend?
- 28:00Speaker 1: What's going on? Would you be comfortable doing it? Maggie
- 28:04Speaker 1: in Ohio listened something I heard a radio ap and she.
- 28:06Speaker 6: Says, hey, guys, it is Maggie from Ohio. Just finished
- 28:09Speaker 6: my YA class listening to you all talking about tail,
- 28:12Speaker 6: well or call it, I don't care for that. It's
- 28:15Speaker 6: just too runchy.
- 28:16Speaker 10: Really.
- 28:16Speaker 6: I have to get to the point to show your underwear, no,
- 28:18Speaker 6: thank you, and for men to be shown their underwear
- 28:22Speaker 6: enough for me, men well dressed, actin clean shoese. Oh yes,
- 28:26Speaker 6: thank you, gentlemen. Tanya, I hope you get better, honey.
- 28:30Speaker 1: Well you are feeling better right, yes, much better? So sorry, Maggie,
- 28:35Speaker 1: I didn't realize that men did this with g strings
- 28:39Speaker 1: I thought that it was the trend was women. But
- 28:41Speaker 1: do guys have tail whals?
- 28:43Speaker 5: No, you were talking about is it something that men
- 28:45Speaker 5: can do to show their underwear.
- 28:47Speaker 1: Not their g not their tea. I was talking about
- 28:50Speaker 1: like I don't. I can't wear my pants too low
- 28:54Speaker 1: and show my box or breechs like I trip over
- 28:57Speaker 1: the crotch area of everything. So, Maggie, I think it's
- 29:01Speaker 1: more of a women's trend at the Golden Globes, right, Yeah,
- 29:05Speaker 1: thank you for listening, Maggie. Ohio, we're talking about ordering
- 29:07Speaker 1: food and how these delivery apps like they need to
- 29:10Speaker 1: tell you when the restaurant's closed before you go through
- 29:12Speaker 1: all of the hassle of ordering it and then changing
- 29:15Speaker 1: things to fit your dietary. Here's Ricardo and the three
- 29:18Speaker 1: two three way in and.
- 29:19Speaker 10: Know what's so funny about what Ryan is saying, is
- 29:21Speaker 10: that thing thing goals for Google drivers. When I used
- 29:24Speaker 10: to do it in the summer, if the store was closed,
- 29:26Speaker 10: they'll still send you there. And if it's closed, they
- 29:29Speaker 10: expect you to get online with support and let them
- 29:32Speaker 10: know and then cancel the order.
- 29:33Speaker 2: I think necessary.
- 29:35Speaker 1: So he wants to know. You got to know when
- 29:37Speaker 1: you order the car to go to the place at
- 29:39Speaker 1: They're closed when you get there. Otherwise you got to
- 29:40Speaker 1: go through the hassle of what he just said. I
- 29:42Speaker 1: get that, Tony and Rhode Island. The guy can't stay
- 29:44Speaker 1: away from us, Ryan.
- 29:45Speaker 7: I didn't know how many pills I could swallow up
- 29:48Speaker 7: one time, because I don't take that many when I
- 29:49Speaker 7: was curious, so I got some peanut and some plain
- 29:52Speaker 7: Eminem's and I took a handful.
- 29:55Speaker 1: And I got ten down with no problem. Without you,
- 29:58Speaker 1: so I could do at least ten. I know what
- 30:00Speaker 1: that's gonna do to my stomach in the near future,
- 30:02Speaker 1: but we'll find out. I guess I think Tony misunderstood
- 30:05Speaker 1: the assignment. Tony, I was talking how many vitamins I
- 30:08Speaker 1: can take all at once in the morning, and I
- 30:10Speaker 1: was impressed that I can get quite a few down.
- 30:13Speaker 1: I peena M and m's. No, that is you. You
- 30:18Speaker 1: need to need to crunch on those plus the pleasure, Tony.
- 30:22Speaker 1: Why swallow those things? You want to bite into him
- 30:24Speaker 1: to get all the flavor out? But we love you,
- 30:26Speaker 1: and I hope you're okay. Well, it's gonna do it
- 30:28Speaker 1: for us this morning on Kiss FM. Thank you for
- 30:30Speaker 1: being here, What do we knowing about all Ryan's roses? Yeah,
- 30:35Speaker 1: Ryan's roses were back with that tomorrow. She found flirty
- 30:38Speaker 1: emails between him and a coworker and he denied they
- 30:42Speaker 1: were flirty. And you'll find out some forty. You know, Tony,
- 30:45Speaker 1: you just like didn't blink for a few minutes there.
- 30:48Speaker 1: And Sean McVay does the same thing, the coach of
- 30:52Speaker 1: the Rams, and I love him, so I don't think.
- 30:54Speaker 1: I don't think it's such a red fly.
- 30:56Speaker 4: Thank you. It took that for you to feel like
- 30:59Speaker 4: it wasn't a red fly. Yeah, I'm like a green flag.
- 31:02Speaker 4: I'm a walking green flag.
- 31:04Speaker 1: No, you are, generally, but I just you know, I
- 31:06Speaker 1: say to myself, people who don't blink, I need to
