Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: This is Kiss Breakfast.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Now it's got to hit us, Celeb News.
- 0:04Speaker 3: Sydney Sweeney's naked again for another one of her projects.
- 0:07Speaker 3: I say this not with jealousy but just because she
- 0:09Speaker 3: loves getting her cans out.
- 0:11Speaker 1: She's playing to her strengths, right? She is, absolutely. She
- 0:14Speaker 1: knows what she's doing.
- 0:15Speaker 3: So, of course, you have her in Euphoria where her
- 0:17Speaker 3: character is very promiscuous, particularly in the most recent season.
- 0:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 0:21Speaker 3: And then, you know, she plays quite a sexy character
- 0:25Speaker 3: in even The White Lotus and things like that.
- 0:28Speaker 1: The Housemaid.
- 0:29Speaker 3: Yes, The Housemaid. She kind of plays the other woman
- 0:31Speaker 3: in it, the sexy girl. But then recently, you may remember,
- 0:34Speaker 3: she copped a bit of heat for an ad she
- 0:36Speaker 3: did for American Eagle for the jeans. The Sydney Sweeney
- 0:39Speaker 3: has great jeans ad. Well, she was topless in that too,
- 0:41Speaker 3: I believe, with jeans on. But anyway, the point in
- 0:44Speaker 3: this is this time she's gone nude for another company,
- 0:47Speaker 3: a sports trading app called Novig. Now, throughout this ad,
- 0:51Speaker 3: I'm going to play you a little bit of it,
- 0:52Speaker 3: but it is quite visual.
- 0:53Speaker 1: So she repeatedly emphasizes that Novig is all about sports.
- 0:57Speaker 3: But while she's emphasizing that and it's cutting to different
- 0:59Speaker 3: scenes and her wearing different sports apparel or not much
- 1:02Speaker 3: of it. She just drives home the point by being nude,
- 1:06Speaker 3: posing with sports equipment. So at one point she's completely
- 1:08Speaker 3: stark as sitting on top of a basketball hoop. And
- 1:11Speaker 3: it's like an undershot of like her full, like full
- 1:16Speaker 3: chest on display.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Great boobs. There's no question about it.
- 1:20Speaker 5: But like, why does she need to be nude?
- 1:22Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:23Speaker 1: I mean, the thing is, this ad is obviously appealing
- 1:26Speaker 1: to men. So that's what I mean. She literally plays.
- 1:28Speaker 3: Into the, as you said, her strengths and she knows
- 1:32Speaker 3: what she's doing.
- 1:33Speaker 1: But let's have a little listen to the ad. Prove it.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Novig is just sports. So they wanted to show just sports.
- 1:44Speaker 4: You can trade this sport.
- 1:49Speaker 1: And this sport.
- 1:51Speaker 5: And this spot, come with the boys. Just spot.
- 1:56Speaker 1: I mean, look, I've actually seen her in a movie
- 1:58Speaker 1: called Christy.
- 1:59Speaker 3: It's a boxing movie and she plays a lesbian boxer
- 2:02Speaker 3: from the 90s.
- 2:03Speaker 1: And she actually plays the character really well.
- 2:06Speaker 3: And I think I was able to determine that she
- 2:08Speaker 3: was a good actress because I wasn't distracted by all this.
- 2:11Speaker 3: I just feel like generally speaking, she gives pick me energy.
- 2:14Speaker 1: What does that mean? Like a pick me is a
- 2:17Speaker 1: girl who like lives to please men. Oh, okay.
- 2:20Speaker 3: And they dress for men and they talk in a
- 2:22Speaker 3: way that appeals to men, you know.
- 2:24Speaker 6: The counter to that is she's young and hot and
- 2:26Speaker 6: they're giving her a bucket load of money and she's like, yeah,
- 2:29Speaker 6: I'll do it.
- 2:29Speaker 1: And in that case, I'm kind of like all power
- 2:31Speaker 1: to you, girl.
- 2:32Speaker 3: But at the same time, I'm just like, at what
- 2:34Speaker 3: point do you sit there and think all I'm getting
- 2:35Speaker 3: money for here, show-wise, movie-wise and everything is to.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Get my boobs out?
- 2:39Speaker 2: I know.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Like that would weigh on me if I was her.
- 2:43Speaker 6: But like you said, she can do serious stuff. So
- 2:45Speaker 6: maybe she does a bit of the serious.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Would it weigh on me if I was getting paid
- 2:49Speaker 1: a crap load of money for it?
- 2:50Speaker 5: You'd be weighed down with cash.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:52Speaker 1: You know what?
- 2:53Speaker 2: And your big boobs.
- 2:54Speaker 5: I'd back her.
- 2:54Speaker 1: I'd take back everything I said. I'd get my tits out. Yeah,
- 2:56Speaker 1: why not? Hey, Whoopi Goldberg, 70 years old these days.
- 3:00Speaker 1: You might know her from The View. You might know
- 3:01Speaker 1: her from the movie Ghost. I love Sister Act. Sister Act.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Sister Act 2, iconic.
- 3:08Speaker 3: She's also actually the first black woman to ever win
- 3:11Speaker 3: an EGOT.
- 3:12Speaker 1: She was the first one.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Grammy, Grammy.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Grammy Oscar Tony.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:15Speaker 1: So she's obviously.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Done quite well in her career. Now, in terms of
- 3:18Speaker 3: her personal life, she's been married three times. Her last
- 3:21Speaker 3: marriage ended, though, all the way back in 95. And
- 3:24Speaker 3: since then, hasn't been married. But she keeps saying over
- 3:28Speaker 3: and over again that she prefers being single. Now, in
- 3:30Speaker 3: a recent interview, she explained why you're actually never going
- 3:33Speaker 3: to see her in a relationship probably ever again.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Take a listen.
- 3:37Speaker 7: I find that I operate better outside of a relationship
- 3:42Speaker 7: because you really have to care about the other person's opinion.
- 3:45Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 3:46Speaker 1: You have to give.
- 3:48Speaker 7: Attention to do I have an entire family I have
- 3:51Speaker 7: great grandkids I have grandkids I have my daughter I
- 3:55Speaker 7: have my son-in-law and the fact of the matter is
- 3:58Speaker 7: they are the most important people to me in my
- 4:01Speaker 7: life and so I can't I can't figure out how
- 4:04Speaker 7: to divest myself from that to make that.
- 4:08Speaker 6: Happy okay so good on her you reckon if you
- 4:12Speaker 6: and Ryan split up you'd remarry though no Oh, come on.
- 4:16Speaker 4: Never.
- 4:17Speaker 5: No, I wouldn't.
- 4:18Speaker 1: You're only 40.
- 4:19Speaker 5: No, I am only 40, but marriage only serves a man.
- 4:22Speaker 3: Woo! Yeah, that's why they say the happiest people are
- 4:26Speaker 3: single women married men.
- 4:27Speaker 2: So why not just divorce him now then?
- 4:29Speaker 5: No, because I love him and I've got a great
- 4:32Speaker 5: marriage with him.
- 4:33Speaker 4: But if something were to happen with us and our
- 4:36Speaker 4: marriage ended, I don't think I would get married again.
- 4:39Speaker 4: I would definitely date and I would go on dates
- 4:42Speaker 4: and have.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Sleepovers, have a booty call, whatever.
- 4:45Speaker 3: Sleepovers.
- 4:45Speaker 5: But I would get married again. I don't know, unless
- 4:49Speaker 5: Michael B. Jordan called me.
- 4:51Speaker 1: So you would. It just has to be.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Why is that?
- 4:55Speaker 5: Just because I think I've got three kids now and I,
- 4:58Speaker 5: even when Ryan.
- 4:59Speaker 4: Was away in Italy and I was just at home
- 5:01Speaker 4: with the kids, it's a lot easier for me to
- 5:03Speaker 4: focus all of my attention when I'm not at work
- 5:06Speaker 4: on my children and I don't have to also worry
- 5:09Speaker 4: about giving him attention as well.
- 5:10Speaker 1: You don't think you'd get lonely though? Can relate to Whoopi.
- 5:13Speaker 5: No, because I'm still dating.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Yeah, but love. Being loved.
- 5:16Speaker 5: But I might love my boyfriend.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Right, but you don't want to live with him and
- 5:19Speaker 2: you don't want to do any of that ever again.
- 5:20Speaker 4: Like, Ryan got home and he was here for one
- 5:22Speaker 4: night and he messed up all the bed sheets and
- 5:24Speaker 4: his suitcase is downstairs.
- 5:25Speaker 1: How annoying are men in bed?
- 5:26Speaker 5: His suitcase is downstairs in the kitchen.
- 5:29Speaker 2: How do you mess up bed sheets? What do you mean?
- 5:31Speaker 3: I don't know if yours is the same because Kane's
- 5:33Speaker 3: really tall, so his feet kick it out of the
- 5:35Speaker 3: bottom and then he's wrapping himself in it.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Every single time.
- 5:38Speaker 2: What a prick.
- 5:39Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't have to make the bed anymore because
- 5:41Speaker 4: I'm not there in the morning. But so it means
- 5:43Speaker 4: that when I come home, the bed's never made.
- 5:45Speaker 5: But when I do make it, it's like I'm remaking
- 5:48Speaker 5: the entire bed.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Oh, it's a total strip down and redo.
- 5:51Speaker 3: Whereas when I'm in the bed by myself, I literally
- 5:53Speaker 3: fold it down, fold it back up.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Yes.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Sorry. Yeah. Ryan won't make the bed in the morning?
- 5:59Speaker 1: No, he doesn't make the bed.
- 6:00Speaker 2: So you come home to an unmade bed?
- 6:01Speaker 1: Yes. Who cares? I hate that making a bed thing.
- 6:04Speaker 1: You're just going to get back in it. I make
- 6:05Speaker 1: the bed every morning when I'm home.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Can't leave the house without the bed made. Yeah, right.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Divorce him.
- 6:10Speaker 1: You make it at like four in the morning when
- 6:11Speaker 1: you leave.
- 6:12Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 6:12Speaker 2: But it's not that hard. I just have a doona
- 6:14Speaker 2: because I don't do the top sheet.
- 6:16Speaker 1: If you're not making the bed, if you only have
- 6:18Speaker 1: a doona, you're so lazy.
- 6:19Speaker 2: You know what, though?
- 6:20Speaker 6: I did say to my girlfriend, I don't know how,
- 6:22Speaker 6: so you girls are right. When she makes it, she
- 6:24Speaker 6: would have made it this morning.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Like the French tuck and everything.
- 6:27Speaker 2: I don't know what she does. She just makes it betterer.
- 6:30Speaker 2: You are better. Betterer.
- 6:31Speaker 3: Because the key to making a good bed is how
- 6:33Speaker 3: tight everything is pulled.
- 6:34Speaker 4: Is it?
- 6:35Speaker 1: She just does it.
- 6:36Speaker 2: And we don't have 13 pillows yet on her bed
- 6:38Speaker 2: when I stayed hers. I've got 13 pillows.
- 6:40Speaker 1: I've got 13. I'll make it even 15.
- 6:42Speaker 4: Mental.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Don't need them. Yeah. So, no, you're right.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Yeah, divorce him.
- 6:46Speaker 2: It's cool.
