- 0:01We discussed yesterday that we all live in a state that every
- 0:05one of us wants to avoid to not be in.
- 0:08And that state is an unsettled state for whatever reason it is,
- 0:12whether it be our children, our income, business, health, things
- 0:17always unsettled. And he explained unfortunately
- 0:20to him about him, Ahmad Sidiya Amidala Azut, one of the biggest
- 0:24detractors and removers that's were from humility is being
- 0:30settled. Who are ibuiva Sevilla boutevote
- 0:33la mazen. If someone has a lot and
- 0:36abundance and it's satiated the benefits of this world, it does
- 0:39not mean a person does not want to be very well off.
- 0:42They do, but they don't want to be very dependent on that being
- 0:45well off. They're going to be very reliant
- 0:47on it and very busy with that because that'll make them say
- 0:51Shi Shi, says Pentokava Savata, president of ARIM that talks
- 0:59about the the sins. We're going to eat and get
- 1:01satiated and then and then we're going to raise our hearts to
- 1:05have arrogance in our hearts. In other words, it's considered,
- 1:08it's considered related. It's considered related when a
- 1:11person is satiated, arrogance comes from there.
- 1:14So you say I'll avoid it. I don't want to be an arrogant
- 1:18person, but if you are very reliant and very dependent on
- 1:23your wealth and all you have automatically, and that's in
- 1:26your mind your wealth, and you said would you have, that
- 1:30automatically creates that. I'm good here and once I'm in a
- 1:33good state, all of a sudden I started thinking about how great
- 1:36I am. It's an automatic reaction.
- 1:38The reason people are humbled very often is because they are
- 1:42vulnerable. Vulnerability is one of the best
- 1:44traits that people can have. Its level of being unsettled,
- 1:48vulnerability, very dangerous as well.
- 1:50But it's not that. It's being unsettled, being not
- 1:53so sure of yourself, not so definite that I'm in a perfect
- 1:57situation. That plays into your allowance
- 2:00to look for other people, to listen to other people, to be
- 2:03interested in what they have to say, to look up to others, to
- 2:06watch what you say and not think that it's perfect.
- 2:09Automatically there's some sort of bridge.
- 2:11If a person thinks he's good and he thinks he got this, he thinks
- 2:14he's settled. Automatically he starts thinking
- 2:17he's smart. He starts thinking he knows what
- 2:19you're talking about. He starts thinking that he is
- 2:21the Bo end all and that leads to the problems.
- 2:24There's the structure of people's lives.
- 2:26If you have it going on in your mind, you automatically start
- 2:30talking like you have it going on and you end up carrying an
- 2:33arrogance. If you have an area of unsettled
- 2:36vulnerable, not true of yourself, not so guaranteed,
- 2:40definitely. I'm set for life.
- 2:42That's when you open up the door to I want to hear from others.
- 2:46I want to be like others. I want to allow others to talk,
- 2:49and I want all the ways of humility to come in.
- 2:52It's just a natural thing. So there's a natural creation,
- 2:55the blockage of humility, and then there's an actual opening.
- 2:58And even though this is not a character thing, being settled
- 3:00has nothing to do with character or being vulnerable on its own
- 3:03and none to do a character, but it plays right into good
- 3:06character up against Baker. Yes, he's telling OK Matsu lemma
- 3:10Hassidim the pious people made sure tove Liotta da man in
- 3:15Nashua Lipa Amin person at times should it be man in a short the
- 3:19English word man. I should deprive himself.
- 3:22Hold back a little bit. Don't allow yourself to feel
- 3:24like you totally, totally have everything.
- 3:27Hold back. He has it, he can afford it.
- 3:30He can spend whatever he wants and he can have to shop his car
- 3:32in the nicest house. I'm the greatest in his out and
- 3:35he can just be rolling away and he decides not to.
- 3:38What's wrong with enjoying What's wrong is that it leads to
- 3:41this issue. And what's good about this
- 3:44approach is that it stops the mana so they can diminish.
- 3:50Hold back the itzah of arrogance, which would otherwise
- 3:56not take over him. Elamito Haribui.
- 4:00This yetzah, not the only itzah, but this one is built upon a
- 4:04person because he has a lot. EN Ari nohe MI tokupa shotevin
- 4:12ella MI tokupa shabasar. A lion does a roar.
- 4:16I'm in a basket of straw, he roars.
- 4:18I'm in a basket of meat. When he feels like he's doing
- 4:21well, that's when he yells at his woo.
- 4:24And the same is true with people.
- 4:25When people feel comfortable, when they feel settled, when
- 4:29they feel little, invincible, that is when they start saying
- 4:32things that seem ridiculous and they start talking in an
- 4:36arrogant way. When they feel, on the other
- 4:38hand, vulnerable, unsettled, not so sure of themselves, then
- 4:43that's when they open up to a more comfortable state.
- 4:47Yeah, I believe you Later. Good.
- 4:53This is telling you the line represents man.
- 4:56Man is the exact same way. If man is sitting over you.
- 4:59Finally, guy whose business is in flux.
- 5:02He doesn't know if he's going to make it to the next season,
- 5:05doesn't know if he's going to close up, clash it alone, switch
- 5:08to something else, or he can continue.
- 5:10That. Guy will not talk about money in
- 5:13a way that seems like he knows what he's talking about.
- 5:15He just won't. Even though he's maybe not
- 5:18natural, just a humble guy, he will be automatically humble no
- 5:20matter what because in his mind, he doesn't see himself having
- 5:25all worked out. But this is not a character
- 5:27thing. This is a life thing.
- 5:28The life thing plays into the character thing.
- 5:30It's one hundreds hand in hand. On the other hand, you find the
- 5:33guy who just made a great deal and he feels like next couple of
- 5:38seasons he sent the buyer took his goods, he sent for a couple
- 5:42of seasons. That guy will talk in a way
- 5:44without realizing it. You know how I do things.
- 5:47The way it works is you make a product, you talk to China, you
- 5:51make sure of this, you make sure of that.
- 5:52You got to catch Walmart on the right day and he gives you the
- 5:55whole spiel as if you know what you're talking about.
- 5:58The same guy in a different situation would not talk that
- 6:00way. Why does one talk that way and
- 6:02why not? Because 1 feels like they have
- 6:04it worked out near mine has settled, and now they're talking
- 6:08about a way the other one does not and therefore he does.
- 6:11It's not a character base, it's a life base that triggers into
- 6:17character. While his other one, his life
- 6:19and his situation allows him to see Hashem, to be aware that
- 6:24there are other ways this could have gone and all that because
- 6:26he's in an unsettled state. So it's natural.
- 6:30He's saying yes, the arrogance a person can get is actually a
- 6:34natural development of the situation and the ability a
- 6:37person can get is a natural development of his situation.
- 6:40You are in a different predicament.
- 6:42You're better off for this situation.
- 6:43In a different predicament, you're better.
- 6:45You're actually the opposite. So every person can, you know,
- 6:48just rely on his situation or he can put himself in his mind in
- 6:54the vulnerable state. Either he can play out the
- 6:56truth, which is as settled as you are, you're never really
- 6:59settled, or he can do like these rabbis Z witches.
- 7:03Don't allow himself to enjoy every dollar that he has.
- 7:07Don't allow himself to be, you know, satiated and everything
- 7:10that he's doing with. And then he'll be able to see
- 7:13himself. And even if he's not so
- 7:15vulnerable, he'll play out in his mind a vulnerable element
- 7:17based on this. This is what he's telling you,
- 7:19and it's so, so important right now.
- 7:24Let's go a little further on the same idea.
- 7:33Now he's like this. Another way people miss over
- 7:37humility and allow themselves to become arrogant is become is
- 7:41because they're an Ahmad. It's Ahmad.
- 7:44It's a strong word, but it means they don't know any Torah or
- 7:49they don't know the Torah's way of thinking.
- 7:51Let's play it out. One of the main ways a person
- 7:56can lose out on being humble who has seclude is ignorance and
- 8:05limited knowledge of the truth. Key to there you realize
- 8:09Shanahan GABA mutsuyayo Ted ET la bamisha sakaliote.
- 8:14It's a shocking, embarrassing point.
- 8:17Arrogance is found by the fools. The more foolish a guy is, the
- 8:23less he knows. Less a person knows, the more
- 8:27he's arrogant. That sounds backward.
- 8:29The more foolish he is, the more he's arrogant to be the
- 8:31opposite. If he's foolish, he doesn't know
- 8:33anything. He should be humbled.
- 8:35He doesn't know to be humble. The more foolish a person is
- 8:39like a kid. A kid talks in the confidence.
- 8:41He doesn't know. The first thing he talks is if
- 8:42he knows and you want to tell them and stop them and tell
- 8:45them, young man, you don't know anything.
- 8:47So while you're talking, right, there are adults that are like
- 8:50children. That is adults when it comes to
- 8:52Tara and the Tara way of thinking.
- 8:53I don't mean how much Kamara they know.
- 8:56We mean how much Tara way of thinking do they have?
- 8:59How much have they been aware and recognize the endless vast
- 9:05sea of the Tara? The last they know how big it
- 9:08is, the more they think they have it, the more they think
- 9:11they already have enough. That plays into arrogance.
- 9:14So he's telling you, one of the greatest detractors on a person
- 9:18being humble. It sounds backward.
- 9:21The more he's a fool, the more arrogant he is.
- 9:23The smarter he is. The more he where he is of the
- 9:26Twitter knowledge, the more humbled he can be.
- 9:33You will notice the greatest places of arrogance you'd say,
- 9:36oh, they're by the people that run the biggest companies.
- 9:38No, the greatest spots of arrogance about this foolish,
- 9:43most foolish people. And let me just say, call you,
- 9:47the less the guy knows Torah, the more he's prone to think
- 9:51he's a big deal. The more he's prone.
- 9:52Why? Because he looks at his life and
- 9:55now if he doesn't have any awareness to Torah, knowledge.
- 9:59So knowledge, he accomplished everything.
- 10:00So knowledge. Exactly.
- 10:01Knowledge for in this person's book is just the natural world
- 10:05of knowledge. OK, You have to know marriage,
- 10:08children, business, how to be, how to be a person among people.
- 10:14OK, There's a couple of areas and he conquered them very well.
- 10:17This guy's very grifted and he conquered them very well.
- 10:18At least you think so. He has no idea that the marriage
- 10:23element is endless if you have that Torah knowledge, because
- 10:26there's so much more to a marriage and it's a basic
- 10:28marriage. He has no idea that raising
- 10:31children is endless if you have to throw away the Torah, because
- 10:34there's so much more to being a father and simply being a
- 10:36father. If you have a Torah knowledge,
- 10:38he has no idea that business even can be endless, to be
- 10:42honest to our knowledge, because he understands how you
- 10:45intertwine business with Hashem and Muna and all that.
- 10:49If you understand that I exists, he doesn't know about that.
- 10:51He's just things open shot that I catch that category.
- 10:54I got that category. Father, yes.
- 10:56Husband, yes. Business owner, yeah, I'm making
- 10:59money. Home owner, I had to be a home
- 11:01owner. I know how to do that too.
- 11:03I know how to purchase. I know how to sell.
- 11:04I'm doing making money. So he has a very simple and
- 11:07therefore very dumb and therefore very arrogant way of
- 11:11looking at the world. Open shut.
- 11:14My father, yes. Husband, yes.
- 11:16Famous owner, yes. Homeowner, yes.
- 11:18And I got them all figured out. I'm golden.
- 11:21I am Mr. Noble. Little does he not know, little
- 11:25does he know exactly that there's a whole world out there.
- 11:28And if you would look at the reflection of that world, we
- 11:31realized that every one of us in every area of life, I'm talking
- 11:35about even as a person in business, in every area of life,
- 11:40we're only touching literally the tip of the iceberg.
- 11:44And the knowledge and the understanding of how to be a
- 11:47proper company owner even is so much more knowledgeable than
- 11:52what you have to our knowledge and how to be a person, how to
- 11:56be a developed person, how to be a characterized one with
- 11:59character, how to be a sensitive one, how to be a giving one.
- 12:03All those things only are fully going to be developed if you
- 12:06look at the tada. So therefore this guy does no
- 12:09clue what he doesn't know. You don't know what you don't
- 12:10know. And because of that, he's
- 12:12arrogant. And you look at the guy saying
- 12:14you food. If you only knew how much you
- 12:16you're missing. If you only know how much you
- 12:18don't know, then you'd be quiet, you'd be nervous to talk and
- 12:23you'd be aware that it's a very, very, very high hill to climb.
- 12:28That's why arrogance is found by the fools, even though you'd say
- 12:32it would be the opposite. The more foolish the guy is, the
- 12:34less knowledgeable he is, the more humble he'd be.
- 12:37That's only true if he knows what he doesn't know.
- 12:40But many, many people think that life is the simple world that
- 12:45they look at, and their whole job of life is to conquer that
- 12:48world and be good in those areas.
- 12:50You mentioned those categories, they're decent on those
- 12:52categories. They're making a lot of money.
- 12:54That's all you need to know. I'm a genius for those, you
- 12:57know, he's a fool if he would just allow himself to see just
- 13:01how much vast knowledge is out there.
- 13:04And you can use Fuda as the best example.
- 13:06The truth of the matter is, it's even applicable when it comes to
- 13:09world knowledge. When a person thinks he knows
- 13:11something and then he opens up his eyes to the knowledge of the
- 13:14information of the world, he's a little little nothing.
- 13:18And he realizes that he would never say a word.
- 13:20I don't know anything about this topic.
- 13:22There's so much more to know, right?
- 13:24And that allows a person to be humbled la on the youth dotty.
- 13:28In my humble opinion, that should be the opening line
- 13:31before they say anything. In my humble opinion, that
- 13:34conquered the whole topic. You never conquer a topic
- 13:37because there's so much information out there.
- 13:38Knowledge is the most vast thing that exists in the world.
- 13:42Knowledge total is the most vast thing exists in the world.
- 13:45The knowledge in general is the most vast thing.
- 13:47And if someone opens up their eyes to any topic, they
- 13:50literally are shaking by the level of ignorance that they
- 13:54have. But if they're arrogant enough
- 13:57to close the door to those topics, whatever it may be, and
- 14:01the arrogant enough and they don't notice what they don't
- 14:03know, oh, I think I got it all. I think I know it all.
- 14:05And then the guy you talking about, if I have a guy you're
- 14:08talking about a topic and he just read the Cliff Notes, so to
- 14:11speak, he's been involved in a couple of years looking at the
- 14:13guy saying you have no clue. You have no clue.
- 14:16You haven't lived it, you haven't learned it, you haven't
- 14:19developed it. You're very good at the surface
- 14:21stuff. You have no idea the depth of
- 14:23this topic. That person talks a big game and
- 14:27he knows nothing and you can undo his opinions in 3 minutes,
- 14:32right? Only if you just give it a
- 14:34chance. And the better person is the one
- 14:37who's humble enough to know There's a lot I don't know, and
- 14:40it's a lot you don't know. Tada's huge knowledge is used.
- 14:44The odds of Tada's forever. A lot you don't know.
- 14:47You'll be careful before you say an opinion, it'll be nervous to
- 14:50say something because there's a lot out there and my
- 14:53contradiction and my add to it. And that allows the person to be
- 14:56humble. The main place you see arrogance
- 14:59in their words and the main place is humility Isn't
- 15:02someone's words. Well, that's only noticeable and
- 15:05doable. I think God has this overall
- 15:07knowledge of what He doesn't know.
- 15:09We'll stop with this.
