Speaker 3: Oh, hey, where are you from?
• 1:09
Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I haven't uh started talking like that, yet y'all.
• 1:10
Speaker 3: I'm in a small town called stratford in ontario, just about an hour away from toronto okay, very good.
• 1:16
Speaker 1: Well, I hope that you're having a good time up there.
• 1:18
Speaker 1: I understand it's a weekend off for you and that's a rare thing.
• 1:21
Speaker 3: It is, and it's a snow day, which is also a rare thing it is.
• 1:23
Speaker 3: And it's a snow day, which is also a rare thing.
• 1:25
Speaker 3: I went like 14 years of my life without seeing snow, and now there's probably two feet outside.
• 1:30
Speaker 1: So there you go.
• 1:31
Speaker 1: Yeah, I was just going to say well, I'm glad that you're indoors.
• 1:35
Speaker 1: I lived with that for the first 11 years of my life in Wisconsin, and I'll tell you what.
• 1:39
Speaker 1: And Jeff is from Detroit, so we know all about the snow thing.
• 1:45
Speaker 1: We're glad that we're 70 degrees and raining in Houston, texas, today.
• 1:49
Speaker 3: Got to miss it.
• 1:51
Speaker 1: Well, so hey, congratulations on your new appointment at NHRA TV.
• 1:57
Speaker 3: Yeah, thanks, it's still very weird.
• 2:00
Speaker 3: It's been a whirlwind of a couple of weeks here, really a couple of months with with the pro superstar shootout and then that it.
• 2:07
Speaker 3: It almost just doesn't feel quite real.
• 2:09
Speaker 3: Yet I saw my name on the on the poster they posted the other day and I said, well by god, they went through with it?
• 2:16
Speaker 1: yes, apparently they did, because, I see you, I got the press release right here in my hand and I thought wait, oh, there's courtney down Enders will be contributing to live in both the Mission Foods and Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series during the upcoming season.
• 2:30
  Speaker 1: I go, I know her.
• 2:32
  Speaker 1: Yay.
• 2:33
Speaker 1: And you know the other thing that really kind of excites me Dave Freiberger is going to be on there with you, along with Jordan Vandegrift, others, and I guess that you'll be doing some interviews with your sister.
• 2:46
Speaker 1: That'll be kind of weird.
• 2:49
Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, I've gotten used to that.
• 2:51
Speaker 3: I know we're going to talk about Flo here in a minute, but I used to be so nervous to interview her.
• 2:56
Speaker 3: I could interview Greg Anderson, I could interview John Forrest, like everything was normal.
• 3:00
Speaker 3: But when Erica got in front of me I just thought we were going to turn into 10 year olds and she was going to take the microphone.
• 3:05
Speaker 3: But you don't know what you're doing.
• 3:09
Speaker 1: She did it yeah, exactly well, um, I, I'm so excited.
• 3:13
Speaker 1: It's kind of like a brand new job for me too, because I get to keep track of you and since you're the only one that I can call on the telephone and you know, or mike mars, and get you lined up to talk to us, we think that's wonderful.
• 3:26
Speaker 2: Well, now we've got another Enders to follow.
• 3:28
Speaker 2: Yes, we do, we follow Erica all the time.
• 3:30
Speaker 1: Now we've got Courtney.
• 3:31
Speaker 1: I used to follow Greg Enders but you know he's too hard to keep up with, as you well know, since that's dad.
• 3:37
Speaker 2: And then there was that stalking incident.
• 3:40
Speaker 3: There was that All right, so congratulations on that and I assume that you're going to be.
• 3:51
Speaker 3: Where are you going to go?
• 3:52
  Speaker 3: To Florida?
• 3:53
Speaker 3: So I am next couple weeks is crazy.
• 3:55
Speaker 3: I've got this weekend off and then I head Thursday to Gainesville.
• 3:59
Speaker 3: We're going to go test.
• 4:01
Speaker 3: My boyfriend, spencer Hyde, just got a ride with Jim Head Racing, so he will be taking over the funny car duties there.
• 4:07
Speaker 3: So we go license there.
• 4:08
Speaker 3: I'm just going for fun, moral support, all the things.
• 4:12
Speaker 3: Come back home for a couple of days, get my mom set up here to watch my dog and then I head to the World Series of Pro Mod in Bradenton and head right over to Gainesville from there.
• 4:23
Speaker 3: So the last like like two and a half months I basically lived in.
• 4:32
Speaker 1: Bradenton and Gainesville, florida.
• 4:33
Speaker 1: But so, yeah, about Wednesday it's go time.
• 4:34
Speaker 1: I'm so excited and I know you are too, even though that you've been doing the drag racing thing pretty much all of your life, because I know that you started off under your dad's tutelage with junior dragsters, along with your sister, and there's a movie about both the sisters called fill in the blank.
• 4:51
  Speaker 3: Right on track.
• 4:52
  Speaker 1: Right on track.
• 4:52
Speaker 1: The Disney movie, the very successful Disney movie, seen by millions and millions, especially girls, and that was.
• 4:59
  Speaker 1: Was that 90s?
• 5:00
Speaker 1: That was the 90s, wasn't it?
• 5:04
Speaker 3: I just said off air, I was catching you.
• 5:05
Speaker 3: You're making me catch you faster, 2000s, but close.
• 5:08
Speaker 3: I know it came in 2003.
• 5:11
  Speaker 3: We filmed it.
• 5:11
Speaker 3: No one came out, no three.
• 5:13
Speaker 3: And then last summer, flow racing released a 20 years later documentary called speed queens, and you can actually see that on flow racing, which it's in front of the paywall as well, so don't have to have a membership, and it is very different than Disney.
• 5:28
  Speaker 3: Here's Disney, here's Speed Queens.
• 5:30
Speaker 3: They use the bleeper button a little bit.
• 5:32
  Speaker 1: Ah, okay, it's a grown-up version.
• 5:35
Speaker 1: How come I didn't know about that?
• 5:36
Speaker 1: I don't know Ray Ray, I don't know, so you know, a lot of people don't know about Ray Ray.
• 5:46
Speaker 1: It's my alter ego.
• 5:49
  Speaker 3: Alter ego.
• 5:49
Speaker 1: Yeah, and, more Matter of fact, I reminded my good friend where that all came from Steve Parrott, with Nissan.
• 5:57
Speaker 1: I saw him at the Houston Auto Show preview that we had a couple of weeks ago and I said, hey, how's it going?
• 6:04
Speaker 1: He said, fine, ray Ray, how are you?
• 6:09
Speaker 1: Because it was him that I dogged on a phone call to get some information about a Nissan product and he'd never answered the phone, so I just went into my Ray Ray.
• 6:19
  Speaker 3: Old Ray.
• 6:20
Speaker 1: Ray yeah, the old Ray Ray thing and really took him into another world that he didn't know what to do with he's still getting treatment for that.
• 6:29
Speaker 1: Yes, yes, he is, but uh, anyway, great guy, but it started off a whole different world.
• 6:33
Speaker 1: Uh, at my funeral I'll be ray ray armstrong anyway.
• 6:37
Speaker 1: So let's talk about flow racing.
• 6:41
Speaker 1: You know, and I've seen you doing bits and pieces that were posted on Facebook and other sources of website stuff what is Flow Racing?
• 6:53
Speaker 3: So Flow Racing is a live streaming company.
• 6:55
Speaker 3: It's actually Flow Sports.
• 6:56
Speaker 3: They do everything from actually watching a my buddy was at a baseball game in Dallas last night and it was a collegiate game streamed on Flow.
• 7:04
Speaker 3: So they do wrestling, they do cheerleading, which is varsity TV huge.
• 7:09
Speaker 3: They do marching band competitions, uh, jujitsu, like I said, hoops, baseball racing is a huge part of it.
• 7:17
Speaker 3: Racing and wrestling and cheerleading are probably the biggest parts.
• 7:20
Speaker 3: But uh, flow sports has about 500 employees and then you get down to flow racing um employees and then you get down to Flow Racing.
• 7:31
Speaker 3: Big and late model, big and dirt.
• 7:32
Speaker 3: They do some NASCAR off TV stuff, just kind of like NHRA TV style.
• 7:35
Speaker 3: And then about four years ago five years ago they bought Speed Video, which was the live streaming company for drag racing.
• 7:43
Speaker 3: They were doing a lot of that and we acquired the PDRA, the NMCA, some TX2K stuff and kind of morphed it over into the way that Flow Racing usually does stuff.
• 7:55
Speaker 3: If you're a big dirt guy you've heard of it.
• 7:56
Speaker 3: But now over the past few years we've been concentrating a lot on the content side as well.
• 8:01
Speaker 3: So we live stream drag races but also, when they hired me full time three years ago we created the content department, so I handle everything that goes on the website that has to do with flow drag racing.
• 8:13
Speaker 3: We've got our own flow drag racing social handles.
• 8:16
Speaker 3: Now we don't have to hide under the big boys because there's thousands of late model and dirt races on flow and there's maybe 30 to 40 drag races.
• 8:24
Speaker 3: So they gave us our own little subsidiary and, uh, we're just kind of rolling.
• 8:29
Speaker 3: And now we've got the pro race, we've got pdra, we've got maybe trying to do some nhra stuff here in the future.
• 8:36
Speaker 1: But live streaming is is definitely where everything's moving are you still going to continue working for flow and do nhra tv?
• 8:43
Speaker 3: oh, yeah, flow is.
• 8:44
Speaker 3: Flow is my home.
• 8:45
Speaker 3: Flow is made this very clear with evan and the boys at nh when they I aggressively called them.
• 8:51
Speaker 3: I've been knocking on their door for three or four years and I don't think that they took me too too seriously until we started doing the Pro Superstar Shootout a couple of years ago and putting out these content pieces Shop Tour with John Forrest Amtron, brown, ron Capps doing some stuff with Erica Dallas, glenn Greg Anderson.
• 9:09
Speaker 3: We did a ton of content pieces long form that go on the stream but also on the website and I just kept knocking.
• 9:17
Speaker 3: And with the unfortunate moving on of Alan Reinhart going back to IHRA, I knew with his blessing, I knew there would be some holes there and that they were going to be rejuvenating what they're doing and I sent a pretty bold email and got a nice phone call the next day and kind of figured it out.
• 9:34
Speaker 3: But yeah, flow is my priority.
• 9:35
Speaker 3: I work there full time.
• 9:36
Speaker 3: I still work with elite.
• 9:39
Speaker 3: I help with team management stuff.
• 9:40
Speaker 3: We've hired pr reps, content people, to do what I used to do there but still help very heavily on the sponsor and team management side and then I'll be doing some announcing.
• 9:51
Speaker 3: Don't really know what all the NHRA stuff's going to entail.
• 9:54
Speaker 3: We're going to see what my balance is in Gainesville, but I know it will be ProMod heavy.
• 9:59
Speaker 3: Al Tucci is going to be in the booth for ProMod and I've worked with the ProMod series for the last six, seven years.
• 10:04
Speaker 3: So I'll be up there doing that, doing some sportsman stuff, and try and get in where I fit in with the boys and girls on the starting line and top end, and if anybody knows me, I'll be knocking on everyone's door.
• 10:15
  Speaker 1: I love that.
• 10:16
Speaker 1: Yes, well, we're your biggest fans and we're so excited for you, this venture, that you've got going.
• 10:23
Speaker 1: So now I want to turn our attention to a couple of things.
• 10:27
Speaker 1: I've heard a lot of rumblings about um, freeman and the elite motorsports boys getting into top fuel.
• 10:36
Speaker 1: Is that, uh, is that true?
• 10:38
  Speaker 3: well, here's the.
• 10:39
Speaker 3: Here's the short and true version.
• 10:41
Speaker 3: Richard freeman, you've met him, don, yes, is is the world's most interesting man.
• 10:45
Speaker 3: Like you can't predict this guy from anything.
• 10:48
Speaker 3: We talk about things and he's always what's next?
• 10:51
  Speaker 3: Let's grow, let's change.
• 10:52
Speaker 3: There's some things in the Top Fuel class he would like to help Parts, cost regulation, safety.
• 10:58
Speaker 3: He's a big part of the pro organization and kind of had some words about maybe trying to get involved in there.
• 11:05
Speaker 3: He's very in touch with Tony Stewart and the Johnson's Horsepower Garage team and Erica just kind of trying something different.
• 11:12
Speaker 3: Well, it was very early in conversations.
• 11:14
Speaker 3: Weren't sure what the Capco boys were going to do, anything like that.
• 11:18
Speaker 3: And on a podcast on the 4th of July, when I was supposed to be off, richard Freeman announced that he wanted to go.
• 11:25
Speaker 3: Top fuel racing Became just a storm of nonsense.
• 11:30
Speaker 3: I get phone calls.
• 11:31
Speaker 3: I have to get out of the pool.
• 11:32
Speaker 3: I've had a couple of mimosas.
• 11:33
Speaker 3: I'm like now I have to write a press release, now I have to go to work and the intention was to try and put something together.
• 11:39
Speaker 3: But we were nowhere near announcing.
• 11:41
Speaker 3: And that's a Richard Freeman MO and cars are on back order like crazy.
• 11:45
Speaker 3: The NHRA still has a rule where you can't race two professional categories.
• 11:49
Speaker 3: So we've been doing work behind the scenes timing, getting Erica out of the car, putting a stopwatch on me.
• 11:55
Speaker 3: Get on a scooter go get her, change her fire suit, bring her back.
• 11:58
Speaker 3: How long does that take?
• 12:00
Speaker 3: To try and prove that with TV we could do it.
• 12:02
Speaker 3: Nothing's really moved yet.
• 12:04
  Speaker 3: I don't.
• 12:06
Speaker 3: Cars are a year or so on order, so nothing's happening yet.
• 12:10
Speaker 3: But Richard Freeman has always got his hand on the go button to make a move, so we'll see.
• 12:15
  Speaker 1: All right.
• 12:16
Speaker 1: Well, I'm not going to hold my breath on all of that, but I thought Erica will never not race pro stock in order to do that.
• 12:26
Speaker 3: So as long as things are in order the way they are at the NHRA, she will not give pro stock up.
• 12:32
  Speaker 1: That's.
• 12:32
Speaker 1: They're going to have to change the rules there.
• 12:35
Speaker 1: Yeah, and you know From my experience with NHRA that goes back a long way.
• 12:41
Speaker 1: I will tell you that changing the rules for something like that, it's like pulling eye teeth, as my mother used to say.
• 12:50
Speaker 3: It is, and we've gotten somewhere on it, but we'll see.
• 12:53
Speaker 3: And Erica's been running the same class for so long.
• 12:55
Speaker 3: She's won six championships and is by no means bored.
• 12:59
Speaker 3: But as you know, you know her well that girl needs a carrot.
• 13:00
Speaker 3: And she's something new.
• 13:01
Speaker 3: She's been running the Pro Mod car, is by no means bored, but as you know, you know her well that girl needs a carrot.
• 13:02
Speaker 3: And uh, something new she's been running the pro mod car the winter series and I think for now that's that's.
• 13:08
Speaker 1: Uh filled that void well, uh, and, and on the same subject of erica, uh, last season wasn't all that great for her, although she did finish in the top 10, but we're all used to her being right up there, challenging for the number one spot and winning six championships.
• 13:23
Speaker 1: So what does this season look like?
• 13:27
Speaker 3: Well, last season I'll be raw and vulnerable with you guys.
• 13:29
Speaker 3: Mark Ingersoll, our main crew chief, we share crew chiefs at Elite Motorsports.
• 13:33
Speaker 3: There's nine cars, five crew chiefs and we share Mark Ingersoll had a double lung transplant middle of the year last year Saved his life.
• 13:40
Speaker 3: He's going to be okay.
• 13:42
Speaker 3: But he still can't travel for another year and we would be crazy to say that losing our, our main chess piece um, didn't affect things.
• 13:50
  Speaker 3: We were great.
• 13:51
Speaker 3: Chase freeman picked up tim freeman, everybody um.
• 13:54
Speaker 3: But mark's been a part of our program for 10 years and he's a.
• 13:56
Speaker 3: He's a big personal pillar for erica out there, physically on the racetrack, and so dealing with that was was a bit tough.
• 14:05
Speaker 3: We still had the opportunity to win the championship with Aaron and and maybe could have and should have, but didn't.
• 14:10
Speaker 3: So it's the way it goes.
• 14:12
Speaker 3: But we've got some more stuff going on this year.
• 14:14
Speaker 3: Mark's still not out.
• 14:15
Speaker 3: Jake Harrison, another crew chief of ours, has got some stuff going on that he's getting treatment for.
• 14:20
Speaker 3: So it's going to be tough.
• 14:24
Speaker 3: We've had a pretty flawless storybook situation with Elite the last 10, 11 years and we've got some uphill battles to fight this year.
• 14:33
Speaker 3: But the team has come together.
• 14:35
Speaker 3: We showed it at the pro race this past weekend, through the shifts and everything, that we're still the top notch there, and so I think Erica's a lot better this year mentally.
• 14:45
Speaker 3: Again, she finished fourth.
• 14:46
Speaker 3: I tell her all the time you won the Mission Foods Too Fast, too Tasty Shootout Championship.
• 14:52
Speaker 3: You finished fourth just because you only won one race.
• 14:56
Speaker 3: It's been a long time since she only won one race, but it was Gameville, which we'd never won before.
• 15:01
Speaker 3: So that was cool.
• 15:02
Speaker 3: But it just says a lot about your career when you finish fourth and do so well that you're wildly disappointed.
• 15:11
Speaker 3: But to say that she's not pissed off and hungry is an understatement.
• 15:13
Speaker 3: So that's a scary Erica and that's an Erica I'm excited to watch?
• 15:16
  Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly.
• 15:17
Speaker 1: Well, I will tell you finishing fourth out of 18 slots.
• 15:21
Speaker 1: That ain't bad sister, as you know.
• 15:23
Speaker 1: Yeah exactly, I mean heck.
• 15:27
  Speaker 1: I mean that's pretty good.
• 15:29
Speaker 1: Some people don't even make it out of one season and make it to the 18th slot.
• 15:33
Speaker 2: But she's finished first six times, six times, yeah.
• 15:37
Speaker 1: So there's all of that.
• 15:37
  Speaker 1: She doesn't enthuse.
• 15:38
Speaker 3: It's so weird she always doesn't enthuse.
• 15:40
Speaker 3: And I said it's your third, it's not your time.
• 15:43
Speaker 3: You've got to give somebody else a minute and then go back.
• 15:45
  Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly.
• 15:46
Speaker 1: Well, it's great to talk to you and we sure appreciate you taking the time of your Saturday off In Canada.
• 15:53
Speaker 1: In Canada, eh yeah, to talk to us.
• 16:02
Speaker 2: And don't go, take up hockey sticks and pucks and get on the ice this weekend.
• 16:04
  Speaker 2: Wait, wait, wait.
• 16:04
Speaker 2: Snow machine, racing, snowmobile.
• 16:05
Speaker 2: Yeah, you need to get into that.
• 16:05
Speaker 3: No, I don't have anything to worry about with me getting involved in any winter activity okay, good, yeah, I'm thinking, I'm thinking somewhere in aruba, yeah, only ice is in her drinks.
• 16:16
Speaker 2: Yeah well, you go sand drag racing there yeah we love you thank you thank you so much for thinking of me.

• 19:39
Speaker 2: Another thing we have for the Motor Minute are blue bonnets are coming out.

Speaker 2: So if you're going to take a blue bonnet cruise, take your significant other, go to the Hill Country, go to where they're blooming and that would be a lot of fun.
• 19:52
Speaker 1: Well, that sounds like fun.
• 19:53
  Speaker 1: What is?
• 19:53
  Speaker 2: that.
• 19:53
Speaker 2: Well, they're starting to bloom now, so they're going to get things going for cruises Generally March.

Speaker 2: Grandpa, you got to keep up with these things.
• 20:16
  Speaker 2: That's Pawpaw, pawpaw.
• 20:18
Speaker 2: You got to keep up with these things.
• 20:20
Speaker 1: All right Time now for this hour's car review the 2025 Chevrolet Silverado EV Final assembly location Detroit, hamtramck Assembly, which has also been renamed Factory Zero.
• 20:36
Speaker 1: Did you know that?
• 20:38
Speaker 1: No, well, now you do available trim levels lt extended range, rst extended range and rst max range.
• 20:49
Speaker 1: I don't know what the difference is between the extended and the max, but I had the half ton standard pickup truck and it was the lt Seats, including the driver five, all new in 2024.
• 21:05
Speaker 1: No changes really this year.
• 21:06
Speaker 1: Closed nose with slit lighting.
• 21:10
Speaker 1: It's attractive, it looks pretty darn good, if you ask me.
• 21:13
Speaker 1: Sail panel at the cab rear reminds one and all that this must have some sort of avalanche theme, yeah, yeah.
• 21:23
Speaker 1: And more so is the actual panel that goes between the cab and the trunk.
• 21:31
Speaker 1: The rear window area, the rear window, that whole panel back there, including the rear window, comes out, oh, wow.
• 21:37
Speaker 1: And you can extend the bed up to 10 feet, 10 inches, wow.
• 21:42
  Speaker 1: So it's unique and I think it's a good deal.
• 21:45
Speaker 1: Big, oversized, squared-off wheel openings, typical of Chevy, black plastic wheel opening trim and black bumper.
• 21:55
Speaker 1: Okay, what I like?
• 21:57
Speaker 1: The overall look is very good.
• 21:59
Speaker 1: Multi-tailgate and step bumper is also great, uh, and that, that multi-function tail gate.
• 22:08
Speaker 1: Uh, it actually helps with the load, especially when you've got that mid-gate open so you can put your what they put in there a fiat when the avalanche came out remember that they put something in there.
• 22:20
Speaker 1: Yeah, anyway, inside the interior highlights a very layered look instrument cluster and infotainment screens.
• 22:30
Speaker 1: They work together nicely and it's a nice-looking look.
• 22:33
Speaker 1: So in other words, the instrument cluster is in front of the infotainment screen, but they're right there together.
• 22:40
Speaker 1: Runs across the dash.
• 22:41
Speaker 1: You can see it in that picture.
• 22:42
Speaker 1: Right there Control is easy to use with intuitive placement.
• 22:47
Speaker 1: Avalanche multifunction mid-gate extends the bed, viability, usability to almost 11 feet.
• 22:55
Speaker 1: Quiet inside this cab Cargo trunk room.
• 22:58
Speaker 1: Well, the frunk is a bonus and I cannot remember that it's up there Because I'm driving a pickup truck.
• 23:06
Speaker 1: Who remembers that there's a trunk up front?
• 23:08
Speaker 2: Did you open it?
• 23:09
  Speaker 2: I did.
• 23:09
Speaker 2: How did you close it?
• 23:11
Speaker 2: I had to pull the hook down to make it come down.
• 23:14
Speaker 2: Couldn't find a button any place to make it come down.
• 23:16
Speaker 2: What is wrong with that If you go inside and push the button inside the cab again?
• 23:20
Speaker 2: It wrong with that if you did?
• 23:21
Speaker 2: If you go inside and push the button inside the cab again, it'll come down, I know, but it's like a tailgate, yeah in front and there's no push button to bring it down I don't understand that, but maybe jack knee rad knows something.
• 23:29
  Speaker 1: He probably does.
• 23:30
Speaker 1: What I liked about it?
• 23:33
Speaker 1: Uh, the multi-function center console is outstanding, and I say multi-function because it is.
• 23:39
Speaker 1: It's got slides in it, the door opens up, it's got the phone charger.
• 23:43
Speaker 1: All the good stuff is inside there.
• 23:45
Speaker 1: What could use improvement?
• 23:46
Speaker 1: Seating is a little firm for my old body.
• 23:50
Speaker 1: It's firm in the back there too.
• 23:51
Speaker 1: Yeah, uh, drivetrain, well, obviously it's an electric, so it's a direct drive.
• 23:56
Speaker 1: Uh, no transmission 10 000 pound tow rating hall no-transcript.
• 24:01
Speaker 1: But just remember it's electric and you're going to suck up all of that charge.
• 24:08
Speaker 1: If you put like, a big trailer back there and a big load of gravel in the back, it's going to use it up pretty quickly.
• 24:14
Speaker 1: It's advertised up to 484 miles on a single charge.
• 24:19
  Speaker 1: That's a lot.
• 24:20
  Speaker 1: 484 miles on a single charge, that's a lot.
• 24:24
Speaker 1: But from my experience you're going to have to feather the throttle at about 45 miles an hour all the way up to Dallas and back to get that 484 miles.
• 24:33
Speaker 1: I traveled 404.8 miles and I got two miles per kilowatt hour.
• 24:38
Speaker 1: I don't know what the hell that means.
• 24:40
  Speaker 1: I don't either.
• 24:40
Speaker 1: Do you know what that means, mark?
• 24:43
Speaker 2: There's a conversion tool that you can use?
• 24:45
Speaker 1: No, I'm not going to use a conversion tool.
• 24:46
Speaker 1: Okay, you used the conversion tool, I did, did you?
• 24:49
Speaker 1: I did Good for you, I'm happy for you.
• 24:52
Speaker 1: I'll tell you what my electricity bill should go up.
• 24:54
Speaker 1: What did you say?
• 24:56
  Speaker 1: Happy, happy.
• 24:56
Speaker 1: What I liked about it?
• 24:58
Speaker 1: Plenty of power and it's quiet.
• 25:01
Speaker 1: What could use improvement Charging infrastructure?
• 25:08
Speaker 1: That has nothing to do with this vehicle or any electric car, other than the fact that you can't find a damn place to plug it in.
• 25:11
  Speaker 1: That's a problem.
• 25:12
Speaker 1: Still, I went up there to the Whole Foods EV Go fast charging station.
• 25:19
Speaker 1: I'm sorry it's out of order.
• 25:21
Speaker 1: It's been out of order for over a year.
• 25:23
Speaker 1: It's never been in order.
• 25:24
Speaker 1: Ride and handling smooth, but it feels really heavy to drive.
• 25:29
Speaker 1: Base trim price $73,100.
• 25:32
Speaker 1: Prices tested on this Chevy $83,090.
• 25:36
Speaker 1: Base model price $73,100.
• 25:39
Speaker 1: Competitors the Ford F-150 Lightning, the Rivian R1T and the GMC Sierra.
• 25:46
Speaker 1: And the fancier you get, the more it's going to cost you, just like everything else.
• 25:51
Speaker 2: So would Tesla be in that comparison or not?
• 25:53
Speaker 1: In a way further down the line, that's what they say, but, I'm sorry, I don't see it.
• 25:57
Speaker 1: You have to decide for yourself If you want an electric truck, which I don't particularly understand.
• 26:03
Speaker 1: The thought process behind that, other than the fact that bragging rights, hey, I got an electric truck, I'm saving the planet, yeah, then I don't quite understand it all, but that is what it is.
• 26:19
Speaker 1: That's my review of the 25 Chevy Silverado EV.
• 26:23
Speaker 1: I will ask you if you're going to go out and look at trucks, look at this.
• 26:27
  Speaker 1: It's worth a shot.
• 26:29
  Speaker 1: It's a good looking truck.
• 26:30
Speaker 2: It's a nice truck, yeah, it is.
• 26:31
