- 0:19SPEAKER_02: Good morning and welcome back to the Barker Take.
- 0:21SPEAKER_02: We appreciate you joining us here for week four.
- 0:23SPEAKER_02: We are excited to be back.
- 0:26SPEAKER_02: We got Zeke in the studio.
- 0:27SPEAKER_02: How are you doing today, Zeke?
- 0:29SPEAKER_02: Doing pretty good.
- 0:30SPEAKER_02: Every week that we have said this, you said you've been doing pretty good.
- 0:37SPEAKER_02: In the studio today, we have a special guest with us.
- 0:40SPEAKER_02: He is currently leading us in NCAA football picks.
- 0:44SPEAKER_02: He has the most picks correct through the three weeks that we've done.
- 0:47SPEAKER_02: We have Keith Barker with us in the studio.
- 0:49SPEAKER_02: What's up, Keith?
- 0:50SPEAKER_01: What's up, everybody?
- 0:52SPEAKER_02: We call him Coach.
- 0:53SPEAKER_02: We call him Dad.
- 0:54SPEAKER_02: He is a college football legend.
- 0:57SPEAKER_02: And so he is leading the way.
- 0:58SPEAKER_02: We figured it'd be a good way for him to join the crew today.
- 1:01SPEAKER_02: And we're going to jump right into it.
- 1:04SPEAKER_02: Last week, we had six college football games.
- 1:07SPEAKER_02: The winners picked four.
- 1:09SPEAKER_02: We had uh Zeke himself pick four, uh, bringing his record up to nine and eight.
- 1:14SPEAKER_02: I only picked three.
- 1:15SPEAKER_02: I went a solid three and three and moved my record to eight and nine.
- 1:19SPEAKER_02: I am battling at the 500 means league one one apart.
- 1:22SPEAKER_02: Uh coach Keith, he went four and two.
- 1:26SPEAKER_02: And so he again leads it.
- 1:28SPEAKER_02: We posted it on our Facebook page of all the stats.
- 1:30SPEAKER_02: You can go back and look and see how many picks you got.
- 1:32SPEAKER_02: Um, and we will continue to update that throughout the season.
- 1:36SPEAKER_02: So, college football, we're gonna jump right into the five games we have after our first phone call.
- 1:41SPEAKER_02: We have one of our favorite listeners, loyal listeners.
- 1:45SPEAKER_02: Uh, he serves the community in so many ways, and we have a phone call here from uh Dr.
- 1:50SPEAKER_02: Justin Sharpless.
- 1:51SPEAKER_02: So let's give him a moment here to call into the show and get his take.
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: Hey Barker Take Podcast.
- 2:00SPEAKER_00: This is your loyal listener and second time caller Justin Sharpless giving you a call today.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: We had the time on Saturday.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: One of those games was most likely to be an upset.
- 2:35SPEAKER_00: One of those games was least likely to be an upset.
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: Five out of those top seven teams, which team did you think possibly was gonna lose, and which team you you're really, really surprised lost?
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: Thank you, and keep up the good work.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: I love the podcast.
- 2:57SPEAKER_02: Thank you uh for calling in again, Justin.
- 2:59SPEAKER_02: We appreciate it.
- 3:00SPEAKER_02: Glad to know that you listening to us uh every week and uh hopefully you continue to call in.
- 3:06SPEAKER_02: You are the number one caller we have, and we we greatly appreciate that.
- 3:09SPEAKER_02: Um Zeke, you want to kick this one off?
- 3:12SPEAKER_02: What's the the biggest upset for you?
- 3:13SPEAKER_02: Who did you not expect to be able to do that?
- 3:14SPEAKER_03: Do you want to just list the teams first, the games, the teams that lost?
- 3:17SPEAKER_02: Sure, yeah.
- 3:18SPEAKER_02: We have um there's two of them that are very close matchup.
- 3:21SPEAKER_02: Ohio State beat Indiana, top five, top ten match or top seven matchup, and then uh BYU beat Notre Dame.
- 3:28SPEAKER_02: Those are the ones that are really close.
- 3:29SPEAKER_02: But then the big upsets were uh Florida over Texas, and then we have Auburn over Georgia, and then we have Alabama losing to Tennessee.
- 3:38SPEAKER_02: So uh probably avoid the first two, and we'll jump into the last three just because those ones are much bigger discrepancies.
- 3:44SPEAKER_03: That's what I was gonna say.
- 3:45SPEAKER_03: The the one that I saw coming would obviously be Ohio State, Indiana, because I picked up.
- 3:50SPEAKER_03: Yeah, we both we both picked Ohio State.
- 3:52SPEAKER_03: So besides that, the biggest one for me is it's down to Georgia or Alabama.
- 4:00SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna go with Alabama because I watched that entire game.
- 4:04SPEAKER_03: I honestly didn't think the Auburn Georgia game would be close.
- 4:06SPEAKER_03: So it is either one of these could be chosen.
- 4:09SPEAKER_03: But the Alabama one, they got absolutely dominated from the start.
- 4:17SPEAKER_03: Tennessee kicked three field goals in six minutes or something.
- 4:20SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 4:20SPEAKER_03: Because I was watching the game and I was like, what is going on with Alabama's offense?
- 4:24SPEAKER_03: He threw a pick and then they punted, I think, three times.
- 4:27SPEAKER_03: Like it happened so fast, and they were stopping Tennessee, but they're giving him fuel, they were giving putting them in field goal range to start.
- 4:34SPEAKER_03: Um I thought Alabama after the Georgia game, they moved up on my scale, and I thought I didn't see them losing to Tennessee, even though Tennessee's usually tough for them to play, and it's at Tennessee.
- 4:46SPEAKER_03: But um the other one that I've that was surprising to me was the BYU Notre Dame game, too.
- 4:54SPEAKER_03: I didn't see that coming.
- 4:55SPEAKER_03: I thought BYU was a good defensive team.
- 4:58SPEAKER_03: I didn't think they'd be able to score on Notre Dame.
- 5:00SPEAKER_02: Last week you talked about their offense not being very good, and I was surprised when they had to come down late in the game, and uh they they made the plays they had to.
- 5:08SPEAKER_03: The end of that game was also a little sketchy.
- 5:11SPEAKER_03: There is a big asterisk.
- 5:12SPEAKER_03: Big asterisk.
- 5:13SPEAKER_03: Should have been past our fans in the end zone.
- 5:15SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 5:15SPEAKER_03: Should have been one second left on the clock.
- 5:17SPEAKER_03: People are saying that they stormed the field to force the refs' hands and to not be able to allow them to call it, which was, I mean it's smart.
- 5:25SPEAKER_03: It is smart to just run on the field.
- 5:27SPEAKER_02: Yeah, if you're a home team, like for instance, with Michigan and Western Michigan, if they would have stormed the field and it was at Western, they're not going back and putting a tie a second on the clock.
- 5:35SPEAKER_02: There's no way.
- 5:36SPEAKER_02: Uh Keith, you got uh what was the most surprising game for you out of those up to upsets?
- 5:42SPEAKER_01: Probably Georgia.
- 5:43SPEAKER_01: I think Georgia is a really good team.
- 5:46SPEAKER_01: And I just thought they would win with uh Gunnar Stockton.
- 5:50SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 5:51SPEAKER_02: Um I, for me, I would probably say Alabama was a bigger surprise for me, and it was honestly just because of how it happened.
- 5:59SPEAKER_02: Um, I was watching the game with dad, and at one point we watched the the interception with Russell, and we said, okay, we'll we'll come back to it in a second.
- 6:07SPEAKER_02: Uh and next thing you know, Alabama had the ball back again because of how fast Tennessee.
- 6:12SPEAKER_02: Tennessee, I think the stat was they had nine points and they had zero, zero plays in the red zone.
- 6:17SPEAKER_02: And so I'm like, well, if you finish one of those drives, you're then up seven.
- 6:22SPEAKER_02: You start to finish two of those drives.
- 6:23SPEAKER_02: They could have easily been up three scores and said they were only up nine.
- 6:25SPEAKER_02: Then they got it, what's 12?
- 6:27SPEAKER_02: I kept thinking Alabama was going to win because of that, because they can't force them to kick field goals.
- 6:30SPEAKER_03: So I'm like, oh, they're eventually going to get it together.
- 6:32SPEAKER_03: And that's what never did.
- 6:33SPEAKER_02: Ben but don't break.
- 6:34SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they they just never look like they had a chance.
- 6:37SPEAKER_02: 26 to 10 in college football, with the way both teams performed was a domination.
- 6:43SPEAKER_02: Um, Georgia, Georgia was very surprising to me.
- 6:47SPEAKER_02: Auburn is a really good team when what's his name?
- 6:51SPEAKER_02: Uh Bynum Brown.
- 6:53SPEAKER_02: Yeah, Bynum Brown.
- 6:54SPEAKER_02: When he is able to run the ball and throw the ball, they're gonna be hard to stop.
- 6:59SPEAKER_02: The issue is they're so inconsistent.
- 7:01SPEAKER_02: Um, did you see what their coach did with his son after the game?
- 7:04SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it was kind of it's either cringy.
- 7:08SPEAKER_02: If if you if you love uh being an Auburn fan, you're gonna say, Man, it's so cool.
- 7:13SPEAKER_02: Their coach, you know.
- 7:14SPEAKER_02: The son said, if you guys did not know, his son wanted to come to the game with him.
- 7:18SPEAKER_02: Nobody else came because it was homecoming for his daughter.
- 7:21SPEAKER_02: And so the son came and he said, Well, I want to come, and if you guys win, can I please get on the field?
- 7:25SPEAKER_02: And uh he was doing the interview and he looked down at his son, he said, You're on the field.
- 7:30SPEAKER_02: You're on the field.
- 7:32SPEAKER_02: So as a dad, it's pretty cool.
- 7:34SPEAKER_02: As someone who's not an Auburn fan, like you said, Zeke, kind of cringy.
- 7:38SPEAKER_02: So um the upset I am not surprised to see uh would obviously, like we talked about, the Ohio State, Indiana.
- 7:46SPEAKER_02: I think Ohio State's at a different level.
- 7:48SPEAKER_02: Even when Julian Sain got hurt, I thought at one point, okay, Indiana might win.
- 7:53SPEAKER_02: And honestly, they should have won.
- 7:54SPEAKER_02: The Nick Marsh stepping out was insane to just forget where you are on the field when you catch it.
- 7:59SPEAKER_02: But Ohio State is definitely in a little bit of trouble now with Julian Sane being out.
- 8:04SPEAKER_03: So he's out indefinitely too.
- 8:05SPEAKER_03: So yeah.
- 8:06SPEAKER_03: Um, the other thing that I was gonna say, I wasn't counting the Ohio State one.
- 8:10SPEAKER_03: The one that was easiest for me would probably be Florida, Texas, just because I picked Florida to beat Texas.
- 8:16SPEAKER_03: Texas is in shambles right now.
- 8:19SPEAKER_03: They are.
- 8:20SPEAKER_03: Because Steve Sarkeesian is defending Arch.
- 8:23SPEAKER_03: Now they're giving first team reps to their backup, and I don't know what's gonna happen.
- 8:29SPEAKER_03: If they don't show up this week, there's gonna be some changes.
- 8:32SPEAKER_03: They're talking about Sark being gone, Arch being gone.
- 8:35SPEAKER_03: So they might be in a full on changeup.
- 8:38SPEAKER_02: Could you see uh Dylan Riola in the offseason?
- 8:41SPEAKER_02: Let's say Dante Moore has to stay because he gets hurt.
- 8:43SPEAKER_02: Let's say he comes back next year.
- 8:45SPEAKER_02: What about uh Dylan Riola going over to Texas?
- 8:49SPEAKER_03: Uh his stock right now is down too after he It is, but he came in and got the game-winning drive.
- 8:53SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but game winning season.
- 8:54SPEAKER_03: He's gonna have to perform better if he wants any.
- 8:57SPEAKER_02: He is.
- 8:57SPEAKER_02: Um, I would still take him at Michigan.
- 8:59SPEAKER_02: Um, so what we're gonna do, we're gonna jump into our five college football games.
- 9:03SPEAKER_02: Uh we have Indiana at Michigan, LSU at Auburn, Ole Miss at Texas, USC at Wisconsin, and Houston at Utah.
- 9:12SPEAKER_02: Uh this week of games compared to last is disgusting.
- 9:15SPEAKER_02: Last week was a don't get off the couch uh from 12 o'clock to the end of the night.
- 9:20SPEAKER_02: And unfortunately, this week there's not many fun games to watch.
- 9:23SPEAKER_02: There's, you know, one at each window or whatever, but there's not a huge uh plethora of games that'll get us excited.
- 9:30SPEAKER_02: So uh first one we'll jump into Indiana at Michigan.
- 9:33SPEAKER_02: Obviously, we're all Michigan fans, boys.
- 9:35SPEAKER_02: We we came back and won last week when we weren't really expected to win.
- 9:40SPEAKER_02: Uh, which one of you guys wants to kick it off first?
- 9:43SPEAKER_03: Um I'm taking Michigan.
- 9:45SPEAKER_03: Um I think Michigan has the best defense in the Big Ten.
- 9:49SPEAKER_03: Combined now with Tommy Carr, if he can actually make the simple reads that Bryce was not making, if he can make the simple throws, I think we can beat anybody.
- 10:01SPEAKER_03: So Indiana's obviously gonna be tough, but we're at home.
- 10:05SPEAKER_03: Indiana's got great receivers, which I'm interested to see how, because we play a lot of man.
- 10:10SPEAKER_03: I'm interested to see how our corners, because uh what was his name from Penn State?
- 10:15SPEAKER_01: Just number zero.
- 10:16SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 10:17SPEAKER_01: Number zero.
- 10:17SPEAKER_03: I can't think of what his name is Saur Sawyer.
- 10:20SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 10:20SPEAKER_03: He's still catching passes.
- 10:22SPEAKER_03: He was even in tight coverage, he was catching passes like Jair Hill, it was zero on zero a lot, Jair Hill versus him, and he the timing throws of their quarterback with him.
- 10:34SPEAKER_03: So I'm interested to see how we can match up with Charlie Becker and Nick Marsh, but I I got us winning.
- 10:40SPEAKER_01: Probably a homer pick, but I don't know if this is a heart pick or not, but I'm picking Michigan as well.
- 10:46SPEAKER_01: Uh the if we don't get pressure on the quarterback, we're gonna lose.
- 10:50SPEAKER_01: We can't rush three and then expect our guys to cover man to man for that long.
- 10:55SPEAKER_01: So I think because it's home and it's Tommy Car and it's gonna be they were so excited when he came in the game.
- 11:02SPEAKER_01: If they continue that energy, I think we'll win.
- 11:04SPEAKER_01: If we don't, we could get blown off, blown out of the stadium.
- 11:08SPEAKER_03: Hoover is also banged up.
- 11:10SPEAKER_03: He was banged up at the end of the Ohio State game, so it'll be interesting to see if he's fully healthy.
- 11:15SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I I wish I was picking Michigan.
- 11:19SPEAKER_02: I wish.
- 11:20SPEAKER_02: Um, I'm gonna be a very pessimistic person at the moment on Michigan.
- 11:24SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna take Indiana, and the only reason I am is I think in order to beat Indiana for Michigan, they're gonna have to create a turnover, and I don't see Michigan creating a turnover.
- 11:35SPEAKER_02: Uh Keith brought it up.
- 11:36SPEAKER_02: They did we don't get pressure on the quarterback, we don't rush well enough.
- 11:41SPEAKER_02: Uh John Henry Daly, outside of him, we don't have someone that's consistently winning those ones.
- 11:47SPEAKER_03: We gotta we gotta stop hating on Dom Nichols.
- 11:51SPEAKER_03: Embrace the defense is nasty.
- 11:54SPEAKER_03: The defense is good.
- 11:55SPEAKER_03: We just don't get turnovers.
- 11:56SPEAKER_03: It matters last week we got two picks.
- 11:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it matters if Dom Nichols is full, a full go and if Boney's a full go.
- 12:04SPEAKER_01: I think if those guys are full go, I think we'll do fine.
- 12:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I'm gonna still take Indiana.
- 12:08SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna take it within a one score, though.
- 12:10SPEAKER_02: Um, what I'm interested in seeing is when you go back and look at it, Tommy Carr, I think went five of seven passings, so we didn't have to pass much.
- 12:18SPEAKER_02: What I'm curious is it from the beginning of the game, I'm wondering how much we're gonna go into a wide set with a lot more of the Michigan that we've seen in the past few years.
- 12:27SPEAKER_02: We saw a lot more running up the middle of the second half, and so I'm interested to see the adjustments they make in that.
- 12:33SPEAKER_02: I think our offense looks way better under Carr.
- 12:35SPEAKER_02: And the only reason is Penn State had to play two safeties.
- 12:38SPEAKER_02: They didn't have they weren't able to load the box and take away everything that we had, and so they had to play two safeties.
- 12:44SPEAKER_02: We could run the ball, we could pass the ball short, and so I'm interested to see what carr does, but I am gonna take Indiana this week.
- 12:50SPEAKER_02: But I do think that Michigan, the rest of this year, is a problem, and I think this is a one-score game.
- 12:55SPEAKER_02: I hope that we uh get some home cooking with the referees, and I would love it.
- 12:59SPEAKER_02: But I do think, like Zeke brought up, I think uh Jair Hill uh is going to be the biggest matchup for us because if he can take away one of those receivers and then you can double or you can uh you can start bracketing the other one, it it's a big uh significant difference for us.
- 13:15SPEAKER_02: But Signetti is such a good, uh such a good uh coach that it's it's gonna be hard to see him lose back to back.
- 13:21SPEAKER_02: That's his third loss at Indiana.
- 13:23SPEAKER_02: And so it's been an incredible run for him.
- 13:26SPEAKER_02: Uh next we got LSU at Auburn, Auburn after their big win.
- 13:30SPEAKER_02: Um I'll I'll start this one off.
- 13:31SPEAKER_02: I got LSU going into Auburn and winning.
- 13:34SPEAKER_02: I think this is a perfect example of one of those where you talk about a team playing up to their potential and playing uh above their potential, like Auburn did against Geor against Georgia, and then just laying a goose egg against the LSU.
- 13:47SPEAKER_02: Uh LSU was supposed to be world beaters, they were supposed to be national title contenders, and then next thing you know, nobody's talking about LSU anymore.
- 13:55SPEAKER_02: They're on the outside, nobody, nobody thinks they're any good.
- 13:58SPEAKER_02: I think this is the way that uh the coach wants it, and he is gonna be able to motivate from there.
- 14:04SPEAKER_02: I got LSU by two scores.
- 14:06SPEAKER_03: I think this is a blowout.
- 14:09SPEAKER_03: Um, I don't know if you watched the LSU Mississippi State game, the Mississippi State quarterback.
- 14:14SPEAKER_03: The difference, Kamario Taylor should get the the Heisman just for watching that game.
- 14:18SPEAKER_03: I feel the same way with that quarterback.
- 14:21SPEAKER_03: I don't know if you saw the one pick he threw early.
- 14:23SPEAKER_03: He threw it 20 yards straight to the defense.
- 14:26SPEAKER_03: Like there is not a receiver within 20 yards.
- 14:28SPEAKER_02: That's how I feel about uh Lamar Jackson when Baltimore Ravens.
- 14:31SPEAKER_02: When he's out, that team looks awful.
- 14:33SPEAKER_02: But they are incredible every time he plays.
- 14:37SPEAKER_03: Um but I think I think with the way they're playing, I think they're gonna beat Auburn.
- 14:44SPEAKER_03: It's it is a good letdown spot.
- 14:45SPEAKER_03: You just played up to Georgia, beat Georgia.
- 14:48SPEAKER_03: I think they come back down to earth and LSU LSU's good.
- 14:52SPEAKER_03: Sam Levitt.
- 14:53SPEAKER_03: I didn't realize how good of a runner Sam Levitt was.
- 14:56SPEAKER_03: I didn't realize how much he ran.
- 14:57SPEAKER_03: I don't remember I didn't remember him running that much at Arizona State.
- 15:00SPEAKER_03: But he's he's running a lot this year, and he's their offense is gonna be tough with Lane Kiffin.
- 15:05SPEAKER_02: He had Jordan Tyson, he didn't need to run as much, just throw it up.
- 15:10SPEAKER_01: I think the same thing.
- 15:11SPEAKER_01: I think it's gonna be a letdown after that big win.
- 15:13SPEAKER_01: I think teams do that and they can't put it together, especially if you don't have senior leadership that's all throughout your team.
- 15:22SPEAKER_01: So I I think LSU is gonna win by a couple scores.
- 15:25SPEAKER_02: The crazy thing is in college football nowadays, what is senior leadership?
- 15:28SPEAKER_02: Nobody's there anymore to be seniors.
- 15:31SPEAKER_03: Biden Brown is, I think he might be a senior.
- 15:34SPEAKER_03: Has he been there?
- 15:35SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that US with Goalish and then he came with him.
- 15:38SPEAKER_02: That's why I say senior leadership.
- 15:40SPEAKER_02: A lot of times it's somebody who's been in that program until they're a senior and they lead that way.
- 15:44SPEAKER_02: So all right, we got a sweep there.
- 15:46SPEAKER_02: Uh they'll probably use that on uh some cold take this at this this weekend if we all lose that one.
- 15:52SPEAKER_02: Uh we got old miss at Texas.
- 15:53SPEAKER_02: Coach, you want to take this one away?
- 15:55SPEAKER_01: I have old miss.
- 15:57SPEAKER_01: I don't have any confidence in Texas at all.
- 16:00SPEAKER_01: Um they when they when Arch has all kinds of time to throw, he's really good.
- 16:06SPEAKER_01: But if you can put pressure on him, he is struggling.
- 16:11SPEAKER_01: And I just think that their team uh is gonna feel the pressure.
- 16:17SPEAKER_01: I think uh Sarkeesian is gonna feel the pressure, and I think that old Miss with uh Chambliss is gonna I think he's I think he is a steady win the game.
- 16:28SPEAKER_01: I can put the team on my shoulders and we can go get a victory.
- 16:31SPEAKER_01: So I like Ole Miss.
- 16:35SPEAKER_03: Texas is dead.
- 16:36SPEAKER_03: I mean, I I've been saying it for weeks, but Texas is dead.
- 16:39SPEAKER_03: Sorry, Tom.
- 16:40SPEAKER_03: Sorry, Tom.
- 16:41SPEAKER_03: I've been saying it ever since Arch I saw Arch's high school highlights.
- 16:47SPEAKER_03: I said this guy is is no good.
- 16:49SPEAKER_03: He's playing against unathletics.
- 16:52SPEAKER_03: He looked like he was playing middle school teams.
- 16:56SPEAKER_03: Saying this in not a bad way, all white kids in high school.
- 17:01SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 17:01SPEAKER_03: So you're not playing against the competition that you're gonna face in the SEC or the Big Ten.
- 17:07SPEAKER_03: And now he looks like he he's not fast, he can't run away from everybody like he did in high school.
- 17:13SPEAKER_03: Like you you have to stay in the pocket, you have to move up, you can't just run out.
- 17:18SPEAKER_03: So I think he's lost.
- 17:20SPEAKER_03: I think he's gonna have to have another year.
- 17:22SPEAKER_03: I don't I don't know if he's gonna be able to play in the NFL.
- 17:24SPEAKER_03: If he does, that GM is getting can't immediately after the first season of Arch playing because they were breaking down some of the reads.
- 17:33SPEAKER_03: It reminds me of Bryce Underwood.
- 17:35SPEAKER_03: Some of the reads, there's somebody wide open, he's throwing it to a guy double covered.
- 17:40SPEAKER_03: And I was talking to my wife during the game.
- 17:42SPEAKER_03: I was like, she was freaking out every time he had time to pass.
- 17:44SPEAKER_03: I'm like, no, you want him passing.
- 17:47SPEAKER_03: I was like, yeah, they're better off handing it off with their Hollywood Smothers.
- 17:50SPEAKER_03: I was like, you want the ball in Arch's hands.
- 17:52SPEAKER_02: Smithers is a dog.
- 17:53SPEAKER_03: He made the one throw to Cam Coleman deep.
- 17:56SPEAKER_03: That was a good throw.
- 17:57SPEAKER_03: He when it looks like that was out of reach, he's better when they he either just threw a pick or and then they get in a hurry up offense.
- 18:04SPEAKER_03: I would run a hurry up offense all the time with Archman.
- 18:06SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I don't understand.
- 18:07SPEAKER_03: When he when he's like when they slow things down, it's like he can't process what's happening.
- 18:11SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 18:13SPEAKER_02: Um, I'm also taking Ole Miss.
- 18:15SPEAKER_02: I think Ole Miss's best thing that happened for them in the offseason was them winning it in the courtroom.
- 18:21SPEAKER_02: If they did not get it overturned the Trinidad Just if he's not playing, we're not talking about Ole Miss right now.
- 18:27SPEAKER_02: Ole Miss is getting ran out, the building by people.
- 18:30SPEAKER_02: Trinidad has put the team on his back consistently, making every play, making every throw.
- 18:35SPEAKER_02: He is so athletic.
- 18:36SPEAKER_02: If an NFL team doesn't take a chance on him and start him immediately because of his age, he reminds me of the, and I'm not saying that the same skill set.
- 18:45SPEAKER_02: Tyler Shuck is the same way.
- 18:46SPEAKER_02: He's more mature than a lot of those other rookie guys because he was 25, 26 years old.
- 18:50SPEAKER_02: Trinidad Chamberlain is going to come in the league at 24, 25 years old.
- 18:53SPEAKER_02: Play him from day one.
- 18:55SPEAKER_02: He doesn't need to sit behind a guy.
- 18:56SPEAKER_02: He's dual threat, too.
- 18:57SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he's phenomenal.
- 18:58SPEAKER_02: I would take him.
- 18:59SPEAKER_02: But I got old miss.
- 19:00SPEAKER_02: Um, I think it's gonna be a closer game than expected, but I do think uh I think by the end of the game, they're gonna be talking about Archman getting benched, and he might be benched by the next week.
- 19:09SPEAKER_03: Um, the other thing I forgot about Texas is their best defender.
- 19:13SPEAKER_03: Actually, he might be the best defender in the country.
- 19:15SPEAKER_03: Colin Simmons got hurt at the end of the four game.
- 19:18SPEAKER_03: I don't know his status is if he can't play, Ole Miss may score.
- 19:22SPEAKER_03: I read a thing that said he's gonna sit out the rest of the season for draft stock.
- 19:26SPEAKER_03: They may score 40 on Texas if he can't play, just because like Jaden Ball got loose on Texas where our Florida's running game had been bad for the couple weeks in a row, and he started getting loose.
- 19:37SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 19:37SPEAKER_03: Um Chambliss, one thing I'll say about him too at the end, or then I'll be done.
- 19:44SPEAKER_03: I like him because he runs two pass.
- 19:47SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 19:48SPEAKER_03: A lot of like when I say dual threat, he doesn't just go out and scramble to get yards.
- 19:53SPEAKER_03: He's scrambling out of the pocket to throw, or he steps up in the pocket to throw, which a lot of people don't do in college.
- 19:58SPEAKER_03: They just step up and run.
- 19:59SPEAKER_02: His running makes guys get open because then he's hitting the tight end across the middle.
- 20:03SPEAKER_03: They start looking at him and then they leave their guy, yeah.
- 20:06SPEAKER_02: Um, it's like the game uh NFL Street when we played him when we were little.
- 20:10SPEAKER_02: You start running your your quarterback to the right, and every single guy just starts cutting across the middle.
- 20:15SPEAKER_02: Consistently, he's out of the pocket making plays.
- 20:17SPEAKER_02: He's a phenomenal quarterback.
- 20:18SPEAKER_02: Um, we're gonna go out to uh some of the Big Ten matchup here, USC at Wisconsin.
- 20:24SPEAKER_02: Zeke, you want to take this one?
- 20:26SPEAKER_03: I am taking Wisconsin in this game.
- 20:29SPEAKER_03: Um Lincoln Riley is another guy that I have zero confidence in.
- 20:34SPEAKER_03: I think I think he's a good offensive coach.
- 20:37SPEAKER_03: Like he obviously is because they've had Heisman after Heisman.
- 20:40SPEAKER_03: But something about his teams, they never win.
- 20:45SPEAKER_03: I feel like they never win a big game.
- 20:47SPEAKER_03: At Oklahoma, they got to the playoffs.
- 20:50SPEAKER_03: I'm pretty sure they got to playoffs.
- 20:51SPEAKER_03: Yeah, with Baker Mayfield.
- 20:53SPEAKER_03: But at USC, he hasn't won any like any game that is a close contested game, I feel like they lose.
- 21:00SPEAKER_03: And they're just straight five-star prospects.
- 21:02SPEAKER_02: Like everybody's bringing in a four or five stars.
- 21:04SPEAKER_03: And their defense is always bad.
- 21:06SPEAKER_03: They don't run the ball.
- 21:07SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 21:07SPEAKER_03: They I I have no faith in them.
- 21:09SPEAKER_03: Wisconsin's quarterback, I don't remember where he transferred in from.
- 21:14SPEAKER_03: Um, but he's a dual threat guy.
- 21:16SPEAKER_03: He runs a lot.
- 21:18SPEAKER_03: I thought they would put up more of a fight against UCLA last week, but I think because they didn't, I think they're going to bounce back because they're going to be fired up and want to come out and play, and it's at home.
- 21:29SPEAKER_03: So USC's coming across the country to Wisconsin.
- 21:32SPEAKER_03: I think I got Wisconsin.
- 21:33SPEAKER_02: I think Wisconsin also got a little hyped up going into the game because Nico is out, and you think, okay, hey, they're starting quarterbacks out.
- 21:41SPEAKER_02: We can put more pressure, we can do everything.
- 21:43SPEAKER_02: Their backup quarterbacks, like what did we say?
- 21:45SPEAKER_02: Six six, six seven.
- 21:46SPEAKER_02: I mean, the dude was huge.
- 21:48SPEAKER_03: Um it was fun to watch.
- 21:50SPEAKER_03: I thought UCLA was gonna blow it.
- 21:52SPEAKER_03: They were they were playing good on offense, and then they tried the re was it receiver pass or running back pass?
- 22:00SPEAKER_03: I think it was a res like a end around pass or something.
- 22:03SPEAKER_03: And he threw a pick.
- 22:04SPEAKER_03: The receiver, he got hit when he went to throw it.
- 22:07SPEAKER_03: And I'm like, why are you even doing that?
- 22:09SPEAKER_03: But I thought they were gonna let Wisconsin in, but Wisconsin's offense never could do anything.
- 22:13SPEAKER_02: Um talking about a wide receiver pass, did you see Malokai Tony's two-point conversion in overtime?
- 22:20SPEAKER_02: I didn't get Florida State.
- 22:21SPEAKER_02: I missed that, and then I watched the Florida State offense after that.
- 22:25SPEAKER_02: They scored in second overtime.
- 22:27SPEAKER_02: They they did uh a wide receiver drag, not drag, wide receiver handoff.
- 22:32SPEAKER_02: And so uh Mensa handed off to him, and then Mensa ran left, so then one person came with him like thinking it would be a throwback to the the quarterback.
- 22:40SPEAKER_02: Well, he ran all the way out to the right side, and there's like five people within three yards of him, and then he just throws it up to the tight end wide open.
- 22:48SPEAKER_02: Michael Irvin was over there going Yeah, he was stressing out.
- 22:51SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he was stressed, laying on the ground barking at people.
- 22:54SPEAKER_02: I was like, dude, I feel like we're back at the frostproof middle school gym days.
- 22:58SPEAKER_02: What's going on?
- 22:58SPEAKER_02: Shout out, Roger.
- 23:00SPEAKER_02: Uh, what you got, coach?
- 23:02SPEAKER_01: What time is that game at?
- 23:03SPEAKER_01: Is it at the new is it noon?
- 23:05SPEAKER_02: Uh I think it's 3 30.
- 23:07SPEAKER_01: Okay, I'm gonna go USC.
- 23:10SPEAKER_02: I have based on the time?
- 23:11SPEAKER_01: Based on the time.
- 23:12SPEAKER_01: It was 12.
- 23:13SPEAKER_01: I was gonna go Wisconsin.
- 23:14SPEAKER_01: I I think USC has got to get something done because uh Lincoln Riley just finds ways to lose games.
- 23:26SPEAKER_01: It it they can score 50 points and they're gonna give up 52.
- 23:30SPEAKER_01: And I don't understand how they can't get a defense if they get a defensive coordinator that should be good, and they still can't stop anybody.
- 23:37SPEAKER_02: 730.
- 23:39SPEAKER_01: 730.
- 23:40SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna go USC.
- 23:41SPEAKER_01: USC, so they're gonna be with they're gonna be the night game.
- 23:44SPEAKER_01: People will be watching.
- 23:46SPEAKER_01: I think USC is gonna step up and get it done.
- 23:48SPEAKER_03: Wisconsin's gonna hit that jump around on them.
- 23:50SPEAKER_03: It's gonna take over.
- 23:51SPEAKER_01: They probably will, but I'm gonna say to today is the US or Saturday is is Lincoln Riley's time to shine before the rest of the season falls apart.
- 24:02SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I'm actually going USC as well.
- 24:04SPEAKER_02: I think this is a big opportunity for Lincoln Riley to finally put this narrative behind him of hey, they can't do anything.
- 24:11SPEAKER_02: Um the quarterback, phenomenal.
- 24:13SPEAKER_02: I think what's eventually going to happen to Wisconsin, I think Wisconsin's about to become so one-dimensional that they can only run the ball.
- 24:21SPEAKER_02: Um, that teams are going to start to load the box against them.
- 24:26SPEAKER_02: I just think USC has too much athleticism to not be Wisconsin.
- 24:30SPEAKER_02: And I wish they did, because I I like watching Wisconsin.
- 24:34SPEAKER_02: They're fun to watch, but I'm going USC.
- 24:36SPEAKER_02: I'm going USC in a close game, but um playing at Wisconsin is a hard place to play.
- 24:42SPEAKER_02: Uh so hopefully it's a great one.
- 24:45SPEAKER_02: And then the last one is a team, is a game that I'm sure both of us have, I mean, all three of us have not watched a lot of tape and watched a lot of their stuff.
- 24:53SPEAKER_02: Uh Houston at Utah.
- 24:55SPEAKER_02: It's one of the only matchups that are two top 25 teams.
- 25:02SPEAKER_02: Um, and I think one of them is like ranked 10th and the other one 13th or something.
- 25:06SPEAKER_03: 10 and 14, I think.
- 25:07SPEAKER_02: 10 and 14.
- 25:07SPEAKER_02: So I know they're both in the top 15.
- 25:10SPEAKER_02: And so uh this looks like it could be the game of the week.
- 25:13SPEAKER_02: It could decide a lot for some conferences here.
- 25:16SPEAKER_02: So um I'm gonna go ahead and take Utah.
- 25:20SPEAKER_02: Uh, and that is for Kyle Whittingham.
- 25:22SPEAKER_02: That's just for him because I'm a huge Kyle Whittingham guy, as we can tell.
- 25:26SPEAKER_02: Um, and I've got Utah winning this game.
- 25:28SPEAKER_02: Houston's good, uh, but I think that Utah and BYU are on a different level when compared to Houston.
- 25:36SPEAKER_03: Part of me taking Utah in this game is because they got rid of Kyle Whittingham.
- 25:40SPEAKER_03: That's why I was saying it.
- 25:41SPEAKER_03: It was I was being sarcastic.
- 25:43SPEAKER_03: He still looks lost to me on the sidelines every time they show him.
- 25:47SPEAKER_03: And so Utah made a great decision.
- 25:49SPEAKER_03: I thought they were kind of crazy for moving on from him because he had been so good at Utah, but now I understand exactly why they moved on.
- 25:57SPEAKER_03: Um I think this is gonna be a tight game.
- 26:00SPEAKER_03: I think it'll actually be a high scoring game.
- 26:03SPEAKER_03: Because Houston's quarterback, uh Connor Wegman, I think is his name, how you pronounce his last name, Wegman.
- 26:10SPEAKER_03: He's a beast.
- 26:11SPEAKER_03: But also, I mean, Utah at home is gonna be tough to beat.
- 26:15SPEAKER_03: So I'm I'm taking Utah, but it should be a good game.
- 26:19SPEAKER_02: People wasn't Wigman, Wegman, whatever his name, wasn't he at was he at Texas Tech, Tech St.
- 26:25SPEAKER_02: M, or was he gonna go to Texas Tech, Texas St.
- 26:27unknown: M?
- 26:28SPEAKER_02: I'm not sure.
- 26:29SPEAKER_02: Am I thinking of the wrong guy?
- 26:30SPEAKER_02: I don't remember where he came from.
- 26:33SPEAKER_02: I I might be thinking, but I know he was a beast coming out of high school, and I they were surprised at where he was going.
- 26:39SPEAKER_02: So what you got, coach?
- 26:40SPEAKER_01: I'm taking Utah just because they're at home.
- 26:43SPEAKER_01: Um I think they haven't missed a beat since Whittingham left.
- 26:48SPEAKER_02: I think I think they've gotten better.
- 26:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I think I think they were worried about losing their coordinator to s to somewhere else, like Muschamp when he was in Texas and the coaching waiting for so long, and then you gotta go somewhere else to get an opportunity.
- 27:00SPEAKER_01: I think they they were worried about losing him, but I think they have it rolling, and I think since it's at home, they're gonna continue to keep that going.
- 27:10SPEAKER_03: He was at he was at Texas AM before so he was, but he didn't he didn't play, he was a backup.
- 27:16SPEAKER_03: He only played a few games each season.
- 27:18SPEAKER_03: Five games, four games, six games.
- 27:20SPEAKER_03: The most passing attempts he had in a year was 132, and that was his freshman year.
- 27:25SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 27:26SPEAKER_02: I I just remember seeing some things on him that they were saying this guy's gonna be a first-rounder, a first-round quarterback in three or four years.
- 27:33SPEAKER_02: It kind of reminds me of the Brock Purdy situation where Brock Purdy, after his freshman year, they were talking about he was gonna be the number one pick, and then he played awful his sophomore junior year, and then had to say for his senior year.
- 27:44SPEAKER_02: And then, you know, all these people, who's Brock Purdy?
- 27:47SPEAKER_02: Who's Brock Purdy?
- 27:48SPEAKER_02: I'm like, guys, he was the number one, number one guy on most people's boards after his freshman year.
- 27:52SPEAKER_02: So really good quarterback at Houston.
- 27:55SPEAKER_03: Uh hopefully it's a really good battle.
- 27:57SPEAKER_03: Um his stats this year, he's got 1,700 yards, 1771 passing yards, 20 touchdowns, two picks.
- 28:03SPEAKER_03: Yeah, he's good.
- 28:04SPEAKER_03: I mean, he's a dog.
- 28:07SPEAKER_01: They haven't met a defense like Utah yet.
- 28:09SPEAKER_03: Utah's defense is probably the best defense they've played, yeah.
- 28:12SPEAKER_03: Yeah, they'll be it'll be a really good game.
- 28:15SPEAKER_03: Um one thing I'll say before we move on from college.
- 28:18SPEAKER_03: Are we moving on from college role ball?
- 28:19SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 28:20SPEAKER_03: Um two actually, I just forgot one of them.
- 28:24SPEAKER_03: But the the one thing I was gonna say that we Oh no, two things.
- 28:27SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 28:28SPEAKER_03: I had two things I want to talk about before we moved on from last week, from the games last week, that we didn't talk about.
- 28:32SPEAKER_03: The Miami Florida State game Florida State got absolutely reffed at the end of that game twice in a row.
- 28:41SPEAKER_03: Agree.
- 28:42SPEAKER_03: Um I don't know how you don't call I don't know how you call the holding, and then I don't know how you don't call the last play a simultaneous catch and then review it and see what you see.
- 28:53SPEAKER_03: They called it the in an an interception, then they couldn't overturn it because it's hard to see, but um They still would have had to make a two-point conversion, but it would have been nice to see.
- 29:03SPEAKER_03: I mean, I think they got ruined.
- 29:05SPEAKER_03: The other thing I didn't like was did you see Matt Rule's comments after they lost?
- 29:09SPEAKER_03: No, I did not.
- 29:10SPEAKER_03: They lost to Oregon late in that game.
- 29:13SPEAKER_03: He blamed uh I hate when coaches do this.
- 29:16SPEAKER_03: Um he blamed it on at the end of the third quarter, Oregon, everybody has a song.
- 29:23SPEAKER_03: Every college has a song, whatever that they play at the end of.
- 29:25SPEAKER_02: Oh, yes, I think.
- 29:26SPEAKER_03: So he his start his players started getting fired up at the end of the third quarter and dancing around, and he was gonna stop him, and then he said that he let him do it.
- 29:33SPEAKER_03: And he's like, as long as y'all lock back in, like he whenever they got back in the huddle, he's like, I'm uh I'm fine with y'all dancing as long as you lock back in and we uh um dominate this fourth quarter.
- 29:43SPEAKER_03: Well then he's like, we didn't do any of that.
- 29:46SPEAKER_03: They're we're not dancing again for the rest of the season.
- 29:48SPEAKER_03: I'm shutting that down.
- 29:49SPEAKER_03: If we can't compete after having fun at the end of a quarter, then and he threw he basically threw his team under the bus.
- 29:55SPEAKER_02: Yeah, which I It's not his coaching, it's not players.
- 29:58SPEAKER_03: He basically said it it was not my fault, it was their fault, which I hate.
- 30:02SPEAKER_03: I I don't understand why any coach even if even if you really think that, uh saying that's crazy to me.
- 30:07SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but he said it in a press conference, which is wild.
- 30:11SPEAKER_03: You can say that in the locker room if you want.
- 30:13SPEAKER_03: Yeah, saying it in a press conference.
- 30:14SPEAKER_01: That's crazy.
- 30:15SPEAKER_01: That's why he can't beat any top 25 teams because he's I think he's too uptight.
- 30:20SPEAKER_01: I think I think when Michigan started to do well was when Jim Harbaugh finally loosened up a little bit.
- 30:27SPEAKER_01: And I remember the jump around at Wisconsin, and it's like they just embraced it and then they jumped around with them, and then it's like they came out and dominated the fourth quarter.
- 30:35SPEAKER_01: And I think part of that is if they feed off the coach, if he's up tight and if he's gonna, I think he puts too much pressure on because they cannot.
- 30:44SPEAKER_01: I think his record, I think they've I think they've lost like 20 straight games or something against top 25 teams.
- 30:51SPEAKER_01: You can't beat anybody.
- 30:52SPEAKER_02: You guys see Matt Rule on the sideline.
- 30:54SPEAKER_02: That's James Franklin in a cop.
- 30:57SPEAKER_02: I mean, it's the same.
- 30:58SPEAKER_02: Like they James Franklin's the same way, even at Virginia Tech.
- 31:01SPEAKER_02: They're already talking about firing him at Virginia Tech.
- 31:03SPEAKER_02: I just dude looks so uptight, he looks like he's not enjoying his job.
- 31:06SPEAKER_03: With the NIL, even recruiting beforehand, like I don't know why you would ever throw players on the bus like that.
- 31:13SPEAKER_03: It's just gonna hurt you in the future.
- 31:14SPEAKER_03: Like, hello transfer portal.
- 31:16SPEAKER_03: If you want to talk about James Franklin, Matt Campbell.
- 31:19SPEAKER_03: Yep.
- 31:19SPEAKER_03: Penn State is right back to where they were.
- 31:22SPEAKER_03: They need to get they need to move on quickly or else.
- 31:24SPEAKER_02: Well, somebody said they somebody said it's weird when you get your home run higher and you just take a big step backwards.
- 31:30SPEAKER_02: So all right.
- 31:31SPEAKER_02: NFL, here we are, week seven.
- 31:33SPEAKER_02: Crazy that we are in week seven of the fantasy or in in NFL season.
- 31:37SPEAKER_02: Uh before we do this, I do want to address this.
- 31:40SPEAKER_02: Um, my daughter Avery, I've been keeping you guys up.
- 31:42SPEAKER_02: She is now six and oh in our best ball league.
- 31:45SPEAKER_02: Um, she is hurting this week.
- 31:47SPEAKER_02: She's playing Zeke's team.
- 31:48SPEAKER_02: Zeke's team is three and three, but I think has the most projected points the rest of the way when I was looking at it yesterday.
- 31:53SPEAKER_02: Um her wide receivers are all hurt at the moment.
- 31:57SPEAKER_02: Um, she's gonna have to start Trey Tucker next week.
- 31:59SPEAKER_02: I can't remember the other guys.
- 32:00SPEAKER_03: It's a best ball league, so you can't pick anybody up.
- 32:03SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so she can't pick anybody up, but she's got uh Mike Evans who's hurt.
- 32:06SPEAKER_02: She's got Michael Pittman who's on the IR.
- 32:08SPEAKER_02: Um she has four receivers, three or four receivers all right right now that are on the IR or that are injured.
- 32:14SPEAKER_02: So uh her 6-0 record may be over, but I told her that you know, every time you win, you're gonna get a shout-out on there.
- 32:20SPEAKER_02: So six and oh, incredible.
- 32:22SPEAKER_02: And if you for you guys wondering, I did say last week I was 0-5, no longer O for.
- 32:27SPEAKER_02: I am one and five.
- 32:28SPEAKER_02: And so I am on my way up, not to the playoffs, uh, but just closer to the rest of the pack.
- 32:34SPEAKER_02: So um let's kick it off to Thursday.
- 32:36SPEAKER_02: We've got uh the best team in the NFL.
- 32:38SPEAKER_02: Not really, but my favorite team in the NFL, the Patriots taking on the Chicago Bears.
- 32:42SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna take the Patriots in this ugly battle on a Thursday.
- 32:45SPEAKER_02: I think it's gonna be a gross battle.
- 32:47SPEAKER_02: Um if you guys did not know, Drake May has bad back-to-back weeks now with no turnovers.
- 32:53SPEAKER_02: And uh I think we we take him.
- 32:54SPEAKER_02: No Kyle Manungai again this week, I believe.
- 32:57SPEAKER_02: I think uh the Patriots take care of business.
- 33:01SPEAKER_03: Part of me wants to change my pick now, looking that you guys also pick the Patriots because I think this is just a I think this game's a complete toss-up.
- 33:11SPEAKER_03: I think both these teams are good.
- 33:13SPEAKER_03: Yeah um I would usually pick the Chicago Bears because it's at home in these kind of games, but they're in the Lions division, so I want them to lose.
- 33:22SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 33:22SPEAKER_03: So I'm kind of picking with my heart.
- 33:24SPEAKER_03: Um I'm gonna still I'll stick with the Patriots.
- 33:27SPEAKER_03: AJ Brown's back.
- 33:29SPEAKER_03: He came back last week.
- 33:30SPEAKER_03: He dropped but now Romeo Dobbs is out.
- 33:32SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but AJ Brown is a different animal.
- 33:34SPEAKER_03: He dropped the couple balls or the one D pass.
- 33:37SPEAKER_03: Um they said he was finally not underthrown by Jalen Hurts, though I didn't know how to catch it.
- 33:43SPEAKER_03: Um but I'll take the Patriots.
- 33:45SPEAKER_03: I think their offense is starting to click and it's only gonna get better with AJ Brown.
- 33:48SPEAKER_03: Gotcha.
- 33:50SPEAKER_01: This is one of those games I want both teams to lose, and I know that can't happen, so I'm just taking the lesser of two evils and picking New England, kind of because Chicago's in Detroit's division.
- 34:00SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 34:01SPEAKER_01: But I I think Chicago's up and down.
- 34:05SPEAKER_01: So I think New England's hot right now the last couple weeks, and they were, I mean, they were writing them off three weeks ago.
- 34:10SPEAKER_01: So I'm thinking New England's gonna continue that hot streak.
- 34:15SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 34:15SPEAKER_02: Um, all these one o'clock games will kind of just try to fly through unless there's somebody that we that you guys want to talk about in them.
- 34:21SPEAKER_02: Um, Pittsburgh Steelers at the Saints are playing Sunday morning in Paris.
- 34:26SPEAKER_02: Uh I've got the Saints.
- 34:28SPEAKER_02: Ooh, I'm taking Steelers.
- 34:30SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 34:30SPEAKER_01: I got the Steelers just because uh Aaron Rodgers is on my fantasy team and he's got to play well.
- 34:36SPEAKER_02: Sounds good.
- 34:37SPEAKER_02: Steelers woke up in the second half.
- 34:38SPEAKER_02: Tyler Shuck.
- 34:39SPEAKER_02: I think Tyler Shuck is a very good quarterback for fantasy purposes.
- 34:44SPEAKER_02: I don't know about leading a team, but I do think he he wins that game.
- 34:47SPEAKER_02: Uh 49ers at Falcons.
- 34:49SPEAKER_02: Zeke, who you got?
- 34:50SPEAKER_02: I'm taking the 49ers.
- 34:51SPEAKER_03: The 49ers are probably the best team in the NFL.
- 34:55SPEAKER_03: Just very injured right now.
- 34:56SPEAKER_03: Going with my or we're gonna do MVP pick at the end, but yeah.
- 35:02SPEAKER_03: Baraki is my pick.
- 35:04SPEAKER_02: All right, 49ers for Zeke.
- 35:05SPEAKER_02: What you got, Coach?
- 35:06SPEAKER_01: I'm going 49ers too.
- 35:07SPEAKER_02: I've got 49ers as well.
- 35:08SPEAKER_02: I think by the end of this game, Tua may get a chance.
- 35:11SPEAKER_02: I apologize, guys, for the misinformation last week of saying that Tua would be starting.
- 35:15SPEAKER_02: Uh, I had a bad source inside the organization tell me things that weren't true.
- 35:20SPEAKER_02: By bad source, I mean I was just literally making it up that Tua was gonna play and I was hoping it.
- 35:24SPEAKER_02: So I apologize to our viewers and listeners.
- 35:26SPEAKER_02: I apologize.
- 35:27SPEAKER_02: Uh Bengals at Ravens.
- 35:29SPEAKER_03: I'm taking the Ravens.
- 35:31SPEAKER_03: Um Lamar is supposed to be coming back.
- 35:34SPEAKER_03: This should be a good game.
- 35:35SPEAKER_03: Both these teams.
- 35:37SPEAKER_03: I think both of these teams will end up finishing one and two in that division.
- 35:40SPEAKER_03: Pittsburgh, I know the Browns are leading the division right now.
- 35:43SPEAKER_03: I think the Browns are coming back down to earth eventually.
- 35:46SPEAKER_03: And then the Steelers as well.
- 35:48SPEAKER_03: What you got, Coach?
- 35:51SPEAKER_01: I am gonna switch my pick to Cincinnati.
- 35:54SPEAKER_01: I just I think I think with uh Lamar coming back, I think he's gonna be a little bit rusty, maybe try to do too much, so I think Cincinnati's gonna win.
- 36:03SPEAKER_02: We're gonna have to get our graphic guy to change his pick for us, but uh I'm gonna go with the Ravens.
- 36:08SPEAKER_02: I've I think that Lamar is healthy.
- 36:11SPEAKER_02: I think he could have played last week, um, but I think Lamar was circling this on the calendar and saying we're gonna win this this game right here.
- 36:18SPEAKER_02: Um Lamar is just such a good quarterback.
- 36:22SPEAKER_02: Uh Buccaneers at Panthers.
- 36:24SPEAKER_02: I'm going Panthers.
- 36:26SPEAKER_03: This is a tough pick, too, because I've picked the Bucks to win their division, so I kind of want them to win, but I'm I'm taking the Panthers.
- 36:33SPEAKER_03: I can't trust Jalen Daniels to score enough points.
- 36:36SPEAKER_03: They're saying Baker's gonna play this week.
- 36:38SPEAKER_02: Oh, I thought he was still gonna be out.
- 36:40SPEAKER_02: The thing that I saw is that he practiced Monday and that he's expected to play.
- 36:44SPEAKER_02: But either way, I'm riding with the Panthers.
- 36:47SPEAKER_02: All right, Pan Damon.
- 36:47SPEAKER_03: Jalen Coker, Tet McMillan, too much.
- 36:50SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 36:51SPEAKER_02: Nope.
- 36:51SPEAKER_02: I'm taking the Bucs.
- 36:53SPEAKER_02: Alright, he's going with the hometown team.
- 36:54SPEAKER_02: Uh, we got Giants at Texans.
- 36:56SPEAKER_02: I think this one's a sweep.
- 36:58SPEAKER_02: It's easy.
- 36:59SPEAKER_02: Texans.
- 37:00SPEAKER_03: I'm putting a stipulation on this one.
- 37:03SPEAKER_03: If JJ McCarthy starts, I am taking the Giants.
- 37:08SPEAKER_03: So I am not putting in my picks until I see if he is starting.
- 37:12SPEAKER_03: If he starts, they're winning.
- 37:13SPEAKER_03: I've fought with I've argued with Robo, I've argued with everybody.
- 37:16SPEAKER_03: JJ McCarthy has not gotten a fair shake.
- 37:19SPEAKER_03: If you watched him in that fourth quarter, he's played 10 NFL games.
- 37:23SPEAKER_03: He's six and four, and everybody acts like he's Jamarcus Russell, which is crazy to me.
- 37:28SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 37:28SPEAKER_03: So if he plays, I'm taking the Giants.
- 37:31SPEAKER_03: What you got, Coach?
- 37:32SPEAKER_01: I'm going with Houston just because they started out.
- 37:35SPEAKER_01: Didn't they start out on four?
- 37:37SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 37:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 37:38SPEAKER_01: I I think that they're gonna keep it turned around and keep it going in the right direction.
- 37:43SPEAKER_02: Yeah, uh Zeke's forgetting his own take last week.
- 37:45SPEAKER_02: He said that Houston's gonna now go win the division, but he's gonna take him to lose to the Giants.
- 37:49SPEAKER_02: JJ McCarthy is my guy.
- 37:50SPEAKER_02: This is one of the easiest games on their schedule.
- 37:52SPEAKER_03: He's taking him to lose.
- 37:53SPEAKER_03: I meditated on this just like JJ does before every game.
- 37:56SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 37:57SPEAKER_03: Nine.
- 37:58SPEAKER_03: And I'm taking he's doubled up.
- 38:00SPEAKER_03: He's not not gonna be able to get the biggest.
- 38:01SPEAKER_02: Did you see now that I know it's because likely, but I'm saying, did you see he was throwing some good passes at Likely?
- 38:05SPEAKER_03: And they said he said you know he's gonna feed nine.
- 38:07SPEAKER_02: Well, and then somebody said he's gonna throw a he's gonna throw a hospital ball over the middle so he gets likely's number back.
- 38:14SPEAKER_02: Um the Colts at the Vikings, the Colts are just they're trembling.
- 38:18SPEAKER_02: They're you know your organization is not good when you have to come out after the game and say Daniel Jones is still our starter, but your backup is Anthony Richardson.
- 38:26SPEAKER_02: Like you might want to at least give him some athletic chances, see what's going on.
- 38:31SPEAKER_02: Um, I'm going with the Vikings, though.
- 38:34SPEAKER_03: This I'm going with the Vikings.
- 38:37SPEAKER_03: Colts are in complete shambles.
- 38:39SPEAKER_03: They they just fired their GM.
- 38:42SPEAKER_03: Before their GM left, though, before the season, they they gave Alec Pierce 114 million or 100 and something million.
- 38:50SPEAKER_03: Uh they traded their two first rounders for Sauce Gardner, who looks can't even win a game in the States.
- 38:56SPEAKER_03: Yeah, can't even win a game in the States.
- 38:59SPEAKER_03: They signed somebody else too on the defense that's not playing well.
- 39:02SPEAKER_03: But they showed all their moves and they said that they're about to, it's about to be a fire sale.
- 39:06SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 39:07SPEAKER_03: They're gonna cut Daniel Jones at the end of the season, and then they're gonna look to trade Jonathan Taylor.
- 39:11SPEAKER_03: All their weapons basically are getting traded.
- 39:14SPEAKER_03: That's the thing I saw.
- 39:15SPEAKER_03: I saw a thing that's just Jonathan Taylor's gone.
- 39:17SPEAKER_03: I want the Vikings to lose very badly.
- 39:20SPEAKER_03: And I think they're gonna come down to earth eventually because their offense stinks, but the Colts are bad.
- 39:25SPEAKER_02: I got the Vikings.
- 39:27SPEAKER_02: Vikings continue success.
- 39:29SPEAKER_02: Uh and what I think is the the back-to-back matchups here we're gonna talk about are the two worst games of the weekend.
- 39:36SPEAKER_02: And not for competitive nature, because I think the games are both gonna be competitive, but I think these are four of the worst teams in the NFL.
- 39:43SPEAKER_02: Uh Miami Dolphins at the Jets.
- 39:45SPEAKER_03: See, I'm telling you, these Jets are not these Jets are not that bad.
- 39:51unknown: All right.
- 39:51SPEAKER_03: And they just got Omar Cooper back.
- 39:53SPEAKER_03: Oh, Omar Cooper.
- 39:54SPEAKER_03: He played very well.
- 39:55SPEAKER_03: I have them in a lot of dynasty leagues.
- 39:57SPEAKER_03: So I'm taking the Jets.
- 39:59SPEAKER_03: I think the Dolphins, I think the Dolphins are by far the worst team in the 100% agree.
- 40:04SPEAKER_01: I got the Dolphins for their first victory, right?
- 40:08SPEAKER_01: They are are they O for?
- 40:09SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah, they're Of.
- 40:10SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 40:10SPEAKER_02: They're going 0 in 17.
- 40:12SPEAKER_01: I have no confidence in the Jets at all.
- 40:14SPEAKER_01: They are the Jets.
- 40:15SPEAKER_01: Do you know how bad the Dolphins are?
- 40:17SPEAKER_01: I know how bad.
- 40:18SPEAKER_02: Hold on, but the Chargers have them circled on a couch and they're like, this is our first win, boys.
- 40:23SPEAKER_02: This is our first win.
- 40:25SPEAKER_02: Actually, the Chargers, I was looking at their schedule.
- 40:27SPEAKER_02: They got the Jets circled and they got the Chargers.
- 40:30SPEAKER_02: I mean, the Jets and the Dolphins.
- 40:31SPEAKER_03: Do they play the Dolphins?
- 40:32SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 40:33SPEAKER_02: I think week 11.
- 40:34SPEAKER_02: So one of them has to win.
- 40:35SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 40:36SPEAKER_02: So I don't know.
- 40:37SPEAKER_01: Miami's getting their first win.
- 40:38SPEAKER_02: Actually, they might tie.
- 40:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 40:40SPEAKER_02: I've got the Jets.
- 40:41SPEAKER_02: I think the Jets win by a couple scores.
- 40:43SPEAKER_02: Um, I think Cooper, depending on how he goes, is going to carry them the rest of the way because it opens up Garrett Wilson so much.
- 40:48SPEAKER_02: Garrett Wilson gets so much attention.
- 40:50SPEAKER_02: Um, if I keep seeing about Braylon Allen being better than Brees Hall, I'm not disagreeing, but I've got a lot of Brees Hall ownership in dynasty leagues.
- 40:59SPEAKER_02: I don't need to see the slander.
- 41:01SPEAKER_02: Uh Cleveland Browns versus the Tennessee Titans.
- 41:04SPEAKER_02: This is the Super Bowl of the weekend.
- 41:06SPEAKER_02: Coach, what do you got?
- 41:08SPEAKER_01: I don't have anything circled, so I'm gonna go with uh since the Titans are at home, let's go with them since they just got a victory.
- 41:15SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 41:16SPEAKER_03: Going with the Cleveland Browns big.
- 41:19SPEAKER_02: Titans may not score this game.
- 41:21SPEAKER_02: I'm going the Tennessee Titans, and I'm going Titans by Cam Ward leading a game-winning team.
- 41:25SPEAKER_02: Y'all are both thinking the Titans?
- 41:26SPEAKER_01: I'm saying Titans is a blowout.
- 41:28SPEAKER_01: A blowout.
- 41:29SPEAKER_02: Did you see my eyes?
- 41:29SPEAKER_01: I heard it here first.
- 41:30SPEAKER_03: Did you hear my eyes?
- 41:32SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna make this proclamation.
- 41:34SPEAKER_03: They do not score over 10 points.
- 41:36SPEAKER_03: Oh.
- 41:37SPEAKER_03: The Titans are not scoring over 10 points.
- 41:39SPEAKER_03: This Browns defense is nasty even without Miles Garrett.
- 41:44SPEAKER_03: Tennessee's awful.
- 41:45SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 41:46SPEAKER_02: I'm going to go to the case.
- 41:46SPEAKER_02: Cam Ward had 100 passing yards last week.
- 41:49SPEAKER_02: Cam Ward leading the game.
- 41:50SPEAKER_01: Deshaun's throwing at least one or two picks.
- 41:54SPEAKER_02: That's probably also happening.
- 41:56SPEAKER_02: They said he's back on his game.
- 41:57SPEAKER_02: Uh Denver Broncos at the Cardinals.
- 41:59SPEAKER_02: I've got the Broncos.
- 42:02SPEAKER_03: I got the Broncos too.
- 42:04SPEAKER_03: Part of me wants to take the Cardinals because Bo Nick's.
- 42:08SPEAKER_03: Bo Nicks is awful.
- 42:10SPEAKER_03: The other thing I'll say about that, I know we're trying to go quickly.
- 42:13SPEAKER_03: Um Sean Payton took over the play calling duties before last week.
- 42:19SPEAKER_03: Did you see that he changed all the terminology?
- 42:22SPEAKER_03: No.
- 42:23SPEAKER_03: Davis Webb had all his terminology for the whole offseason, whatever, training camp.
- 42:28SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 42:29SPEAKER_03: Sean Payton took it over and changed it all back to how he had it.
- 42:33SPEAKER_03: So he said that he gave Bo Nicks an out for the game before.
- 42:36SPEAKER_03: He said that half the play cost, Bo Nicks had no idea some of the terminology because he changed it.
- 42:42SPEAKER_03: He gave him three days or something to.
- 42:45SPEAKER_03: So I'm I'm taking the Broncos.
- 42:47SPEAKER_03: I think their offense will look better.
- 42:49SPEAKER_03: Cardinals, I still think the Cardinals' weapons are crazy good.
- 42:53SPEAKER_03: I just don't Jacoby Brissett's.
- 42:55SPEAKER_02: Trading trading Marvin Harrison and then benching Love to heal is gonna hurt them.
- 43:01SPEAKER_03: I can't believe they beat the Rams last week.
- 43:04SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 43:05SPEAKER_02: The Rams beat themselves.
- 43:06SPEAKER_03: The Rams scoring that touchdown late instead of just going down and running and killing the whole clock and then scoring to win.
- 43:13SPEAKER_03: It's crazy.
- 43:14SPEAKER_02: Um Packers at the Lions.
- 43:16SPEAKER_02: I mean, I know we're all taking the Lions.
- 43:18SPEAKER_02: We can just move on past it.
- 43:19SPEAKER_02: We'll talk about it next week because I think that's gonna be a really good game.
- 43:22SPEAKER_02: Um I think the Green Bay is better than what people say they are.
- 43:25SPEAKER_03: That's what I was gonna say.
- 43:26SPEAKER_03: I keep saying the Packers are no good, but they just destroyed I mean, I I don't know how good the Cowboys are, but they destroy the Cowboys.
- 43:32SPEAKER_02: When we talked last week, I said I think that the Packers are taking big steps forward, but I think they lose this game.
- 43:37SPEAKER_02: I think the Lions, this is where the Lions go on a run.
- 43:39SPEAKER_03: I hope the Packers drop as many passes as they did against the Cowboys because Matthew Golden.
- 43:44SPEAKER_02: Matthew Golden could have had 400 yards.
- 43:45SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 43:46SPEAKER_02: He could they couldn't cover him, but he couldn't catch the ball.
- 43:48SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 43:49SPEAKER_02: Did you see he got on Twitter or X after the game?
- 43:52SPEAKER_02: And he did the he did like the hands like the sorry.
- 43:55SPEAKER_02: They were all like, It's okay, man, we won.
- 43:57SPEAKER_02: Like you were.
- 43:58SPEAKER_03: If they would have lost a game like that, he would have got.
- 44:00SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 44:01SPEAKER_03: You got the Lions, right, coach?
- 44:03SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 44:03SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 44:04SPEAKER_02: We're going to go to the Rams at the Raiders.
- 44:07SPEAKER_03: I'm taking the Raiders.
- 44:10SPEAKER_03: I want to pick the Rams.
- 44:13SPEAKER_03: And I picked the Rams to go to the Super Bowl, I believe.
- 44:16SPEAKER_03: I think I said Rams Chiefs.
- 44:18SPEAKER_03: And then the Chiefs winning it.
- 44:20SPEAKER_03: The Rams are awful.
- 44:22SPEAKER_03: I don't know what's going on with them.
- 44:24SPEAKER_03: And then Devonta's out now.
- 44:26SPEAKER_03: So now he's going to throw to Puka.
- 44:28SPEAKER_03: Instead of throwing a Puka 20 times, he's going to probably throw a 35.
- 44:31SPEAKER_03: And that's their whole offense.
- 44:33SPEAKER_02: He didn't even throw to Puka last game.
- 44:34SPEAKER_03: I was very confused.
- 44:35SPEAKER_03: He still, I think, had 10 or 12 targets.
- 44:38SPEAKER_03: He always has.
- 44:39SPEAKER_03: It was in the last parts of the game.
- 44:40SPEAKER_02: He only had four look four targets.
- 44:45SPEAKER_03: He's eventually going to get hurt because they throw it to him and he gets hit every play.
- 44:49SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 44:49SPEAKER_03: What you got, Coach?
- 44:50SPEAKER_01: I have the Raiders as well.
- 44:52SPEAKER_01: I think that uh the defensive line of the Raiders is going to get to Stafford and he's going to make some mistakes.
- 44:59SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 45:00SPEAKER_02: Rams by seven.
- 45:01SPEAKER_02: Rams by seven.
- 45:02SPEAKER_03: Brock Bowers is also the GOAT.
- 45:04SPEAKER_02: Puka probably 20 catches.
- 45:06SPEAKER_02: Uh, no exaggeration.
- 45:07SPEAKER_02: Blake Horam will be the starting running back by the end of the season.
- 45:11SPEAKER_02: Blake Coram.
- 45:12SPEAKER_02: Um Kansas City at the Seattle Seahawks.
- 45:15SPEAKER_02: I'm going Kansas City winning on the road.
- 45:17SPEAKER_02: I love Kansas City.
- 45:19SPEAKER_02: I think that they're really good.
- 45:20SPEAKER_02: I think the Seattle is one of the most overrated teams in the century.
- 45:24SPEAKER_02: Them winning the title last year is an absolute asterisk because that was Kenneth Walker winning the title.
- 45:29SPEAKER_02: Look what happens when they take off Kenneth Walker.
- 45:32SPEAKER_03: I got the Chiefs winning as well.
- 45:34SPEAKER_03: I think the Chiefs are playing the best in the league.
- 45:38SPEAKER_03: I think when you have a guy you can hand the ball to and he can get you a hundred and something yards every game, and then you add in Mahomes with it.
- 45:48SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 45:49SPEAKER_03: And then you add their defense.
- 45:50SPEAKER_03: Like I don't know how you beat them.
- 45:52SPEAKER_03: You're gonna have to have a game where either he fumbles running the ball or Mahomes turns it over because I don't think you can beat them if they play clean football with their defense and running game.
- 46:04SPEAKER_03: I just don't I don't see it.
- 46:05SPEAKER_03: Agreed.
- 46:07SPEAKER_01: I think I think if they can run the ball, Kansas City wins easy.
- 46:12SPEAKER_02: Last Monday night game here.
- 46:15SPEAKER_02: In division rivalry, one of the greatest rivalries in the NFL.
- 46:21SPEAKER_02: The Cowgirls versus the Eaglets.
- 46:24SPEAKER_02: Who you got?
- 46:25SPEAKER_03: Cowboys.
- 46:27SPEAKER_03: This should be a blowout.
- 46:28SPEAKER_03: It probably won't be because the Cowboys find ways to lose, but the Eagles are.
- 46:40SPEAKER_03: They've signed Joe Milton off of the practice squad off of Dallas's or whoever.
- 46:45SPEAKER_03: Yep, he was on Dallas's, yeah.
- 46:46SPEAKER_03: I would give him a chance at this point.
- 46:48SPEAKER_03: Tanner McKee looked bad.
- 46:51SPEAKER_02: I know that was one of his first, but I think Milton will get a chance in the next couple weeks.
- 46:56SPEAKER_02: Um, I do have Dallas.
- 46:58SPEAKER_02: With how bad Dallas looked against the Packers, I think they take care of business.
- 47:04SPEAKER_02: Dallas has a really good chance to still come back and win that division because they're all that division's awful.
- 47:08SPEAKER_02: It's an awful division.
- 47:10SPEAKER_02: The Giants, I mean, Zeke's high on them now because they got JJ maybe starting, moving forward.
- 47:17SPEAKER_02: But I mean, the Philadelphia Eagles, they don't even want to be there.
- 47:20SPEAKER_02: Barkley, I think, is going to have another injury before he gets back on the field.
- 47:24SPEAKER_02: Jalen Hurts is done for the season.
- 47:26SPEAKER_02: And then the Reds, the commanders, the Red Commanders, um Jaden Daniels, you don't know what you're gonna get.
- 47:32SPEAKER_02: He played well when they got way behind and they came back, played well, but he missed digs too wide open.
- 47:38SPEAKER_02: I don't know if you saw that.
- 47:39SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 47:40SPEAKER_03: Then Traylon Burks fourth and three.
- 47:42SPEAKER_03: He owned they still almost caught it, but Traylon Burks.
- 47:44SPEAKER_02: He hit Stephon Diggs.
- 47:46SPEAKER_02: Traylon Burks almost caught that long TD, and then Traylon Burks got hurt.
- 47:49SPEAKER_02: I feel bad for the guy.
- 47:51SPEAKER_02: Um, but yeah, I got I got the Cowboys taking care of business.
- 47:54SPEAKER_03: The other thing talking about that game, the Jalen Hurts stuff with the blood clots is crazy.
- 47:58SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 47:59SPEAKER_03: And the the fact that they told me could we we talked about this the other day, but the fact that he couldn't sleep, but he was able to go play a football game is wild to me.
- 48:07SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 48:07SPEAKER_02: That seems like it's what's even worse is the Jacksonville.
- 48:10SPEAKER_02: Jacksonville should have lost to him because that's when Jacksonville took the kickoff return and then ended up kicking the long field goal at at expiration.
- 48:18SPEAKER_03: So I saw where they said that they will not be sued or something.
- 48:22SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they can't be held liable for it.
- 48:23SPEAKER_02: The NFL's not doing it.
- 48:25SPEAKER_02: It's crazy that you have to put that statement out with the NFL's not doing anything about it.
- 48:29SPEAKER_02: So um NBA NBA started this week.
- 48:33SPEAKER_02: I know last week I used my uh two seconds at the end to talk about that the Thunder would go on a big run to start the year.
- 48:39SPEAKER_02: Uh they took care of business already last night and took care of the Spurs.
- 48:44SPEAKER_02: Uh they get the the Denver Nuggets on Thursday.
- 48:48SPEAKER_02: I think they take care of them as well.
- 48:50SPEAKER_02: They're gonna go on a long streak.
- 48:51SPEAKER_02: Um before we get there, NFL MVP, who you got right now?
- 48:56SPEAKER_03: I kind of already said mine, but I'm I'm taking Brock Purdy.
- 49:00SPEAKER_03: And I think if they continue winning, I don't see how he's not going to get it because they're undefeated.
- 49:06SPEAKER_03: They look, I mean, they're their offensive weapons are dropping like flies.
- 49:11SPEAKER_03: Like you lost Debo.
- 49:12SPEAKER_03: Mike Evans just got hurt.
- 49:14SPEAKER_03: So I I just think he's carrying them.
- 49:18SPEAKER_03: What you got, Coach?
- 49:20SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 49:21SPEAKER_01: I like Brock, but I think he's gonna get hurt.
- 49:25SPEAKER_01: And I think I'm gonna go dark horse with Jared Goff because Lions aren't winning unless he puts up incredible numbers because their defense is so bad.
- 49:34SPEAKER_01: And I think that they're either gonna lose every game or they're gonna win and Jared Goff is gonna have to play out of his mind.
- 49:43SPEAKER_01: So I'm gonna go, I'm gonna go that way because Brock Brock has a tendency to get hurt.
- 49:48SPEAKER_02: I'm still going Josh Allen.
- 49:50SPEAKER_02: I think that I think Josh Allen, the the media loves Josh Allen.
- 49:56SPEAKER_02: He runs, he passes.
- 49:58SPEAKER_02: Buffalo's a good story.
- 50:00SPEAKER_02: Buffalo doesn't have a lot of weapons, and so he's making Keon Coleman relevant again, which is good.
- 50:06SPEAKER_02: Buffalo needs Keon Coleman.
- 50:08SPEAKER_02: Khalil Shakir Shakir has been looking good.
- 50:11SPEAKER_02: He catches the ball and looks lightning quick.
- 50:13SPEAKER_02: James Cook isn't running the ball as well as he was as he has been, but I think that it'll open up.
- 50:18SPEAKER_02: I think Buffalo goes on a run to end the season.
- 50:20SPEAKER_02: They'll they'll play well.
- 50:20SPEAKER_02: So I got Josh Allen winning it.
- 50:22SPEAKER_02: Um, NBA champion before we leave.
- 50:24SPEAKER_02: It started.
- 50:26SPEAKER_03: Z home pick or real pick?
- 50:31SPEAKER_03: Real pick.
- 50:32SPEAKER_03: Detroit.
- 50:35SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 50:35SPEAKER_02: So the home pick, got it.
- 50:37SPEAKER_02: He's got the Detroit Mans.
- 50:38SPEAKER_03: No, actually, my real pick is gonna be the San Antonio Spurs.
- 50:43SPEAKER_03: Okay, San Antonio?
- 50:44SPEAKER_03: I think Wemby.
- 50:45SPEAKER_02: You're talking about the windless Spurs.
- 50:47SPEAKER_02: Got it.
- 50:48SPEAKER_02: Wimby Did you watch that game last night?
- 50:50SPEAKER_03: Wimby played awful last night, and they still were competitive with him for a little while.
- 50:56SPEAKER_03: When Chet plays against Wimby, Chet looks like Yeah, but we have the guy fifth grader playing against a division one athlete.
- 51:05SPEAKER_02: We got the guy now that makes Wimby not even Wemby.
- 51:09SPEAKER_02: We got a Daymara.
- 51:10SPEAKER_03: Did you see a Daymara?
- 51:11SPEAKER_03: The stretch that he had against Wimby?
- 51:13SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 51:14SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 51:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and then he got stepped on by uh whatever the dude is.
- 51:20SPEAKER_02: Luke, whatever his name is.
- 51:22SPEAKER_02: Seven.
- 51:22SPEAKER_02: What's seven for San Antonio?
- 51:24SPEAKER_02: Oh, Cornette.
- 51:25SPEAKER_02: Cornette, yeah.
- 51:26SPEAKER_02: He don't he got that dunk play and he landed on a Daymara.
- 51:30SPEAKER_02: Coach, what you got?
- 51:32SPEAKER_01: Hmm.
- 51:32SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna go Philadelphia 76ers because I think LeBron is gonna win a championship and then retire.
- 51:41SPEAKER_03: 76ers are they looked good yesterday when I watched them, but I don't see how I think MB's gonna get hurt, and then you're down to you have no big guy.
- 51:50SPEAKER_01: I think they can be better without him sometimes, though.
- 51:54SPEAKER_02: Not not now.
- 51:54SPEAKER_02: They don't have another back, they don't have another big.
- 51:57SPEAKER_02: Um look what Andre Drummond did to that team yesterday.
- 52:00SPEAKER_02: Andre Drummond, in a matter of, I think, four minutes, had 10 and 10.
- 52:03SPEAKER_03: He was on their team last year, too.
- 52:05SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
- 52:05SPEAKER_02: But they have no big thing.
- 52:07SPEAKER_02: Um I've got the Thunder.
- 52:09SPEAKER_02: I think the Thunder are phenomenal.
- 52:11SPEAKER_02: I love the Thunder.
- 52:12SPEAKER_02: Thunder all day, every day.
- 52:13SPEAKER_02: So um we appreciate you guys tuning in.
- 52:16SPEAKER_02: Uh, we're gonna drop the link again so that you guys can call in, give us a call for next week.
- 52:21SPEAKER_02: That's how we want to start the show.

- 52:27SPEAKER_02: Thank you for following, and uh hopefully you guys make some great college picks and NFL picks this weekend.
