- 1:45SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 1:46SPEAKER_01: Tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny.
- 1:47SPEAKER_01: I cannot emphasize how tiny it is.
- 1:49SPEAKER_01: Tiny like I could walk through it?
- 1:50SPEAKER_01: Like about two miles, you could get through the whole town.
- 1:53SPEAKER_01: Really?
- 1:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah, only we are expanding.
- 1:54SPEAKER_01: Um it's a beautiful thing.
- 1:58SPEAKER_01: My band will come through and they're like, wait, this you made it sound a lot smaller.
- 2:01SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, we've just grown a lot.
- 2:03SPEAKER_01: We've grown a lot.
- 2:04SPEAKER_01: We're all growing every day.
- 2:05SPEAKER_01: But it's literally in the middle of a cornfield uh outside of Champaign, Illinois.
- 2:08SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 2:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah, crazy.
- 2:09SPEAKER_01: Tell me how you got into country music.
- 2:11SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 2:11SPEAKER_01: You you got a face for country music, by the way.
- 2:13SPEAKER_01: You're so beautiful.
- 2:14SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 2:15SPEAKER_01: That's so nice of you.
- 2:16SPEAKER_01: I uh country music truly just found me in the Midwest.
- 2:19SPEAKER_01: You know, we kind of are a conglomeration of literally everything.
- 2:22SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 2:22SPEAKER_01: Um, it it just finds you and you make use of it, and I think we live it too.
- 2:26SPEAKER_01: Totally.
- 2:27SPEAKER_03: Country music is the best in the world.
- 2:31SPEAKER_01: Who was your inspiration?
- 2:33SPEAKER_01: That's a great question.
- 2:34SPEAKER_01: I was a huge Carrie Underwood fan.
- 2:36SPEAKER_01: I still have to be a good one.
- 2:37SPEAKER_01: We love using Carrie Underwood.
- 2:38SPEAKER_01: The early, early, early season.
- 2:39SPEAKER_03: That's Sunday night football song.
- 2:41SPEAKER_03: That's getting a lot of fun.
- 2:42SPEAKER_03: Let's go.
- 2:43SPEAKER_03: Let's go.
- 2:43SPEAKER_01: Are you a football fan?
- 2:44SPEAKER_01: I'm not, but for Carrie, I'm like, you know what?
- 2:46SPEAKER_01: Hell yeah.
- 2:47SPEAKER_01: I get it.
- 2:47SPEAKER_03: Okay, so as officially today, you'll get a wand and a certificate when you leave.
- 2:51SPEAKER_03: You're a Philadelphia Eagles fan.
- 2:52SPEAKER_05: Let's go.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: Do you get it?
- 2:55SPEAKER_04: They've been trying to convert me ever since I went to the house.
- 2:57SPEAKER_04: Welcome to the lights.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: I brought T.
- 2:58SPEAKER_04: Who she brought me?
- 2:59SPEAKER_04: She brought me a Philadelphia Eagles hat.
- 3:01SPEAKER_04: She brought me a little bit.
- 3:02SPEAKER_01: She's a passionate one though.
- 3:03SPEAKER_01: We love popcades.
- 3:05SPEAKER_01: That is my biggest thing.
- 3:05SPEAKER_01: I'm like, as long as you are a passionate human being, Holden is there.
- 3:09SPEAKER_03: He's from Philadelphia as well.
- 3:11SPEAKER_05: We're from the same city.
- 3:12SPEAKER_05: Same town.
- 3:13SPEAKER_05: Same little town.
- 3:14SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 3:15SPEAKER_03: Historic little town.
- 3:16SPEAKER_03: And um Holden was uh, you know, my first guest.
- 3:19SPEAKER_03: He was he's what got me into country music.
- 3:22SPEAKER_03: So I love his family.
- 3:23SPEAKER_03: He's an amazing artist, and he's doing big things.
- 3:27SPEAKER_03: And Timmy was fresh from California, got off a plane, I used to got off the plane and went straight to Deb's podcast.
- 3:35SPEAKER_01: No, but I at least I believe that though.
- 3:37SPEAKER_01: You're very fast family, I feel.
- 3:38SPEAKER_01: Totally.
- 3:39SPEAKER_01: We've known each other for 15 seconds, and I'm like, we went to the reunion, you know.
- 3:43SPEAKER_03: Something is gonna happen.
- 3:44SPEAKER_03: You're like, I need to tell Deb that.
- 3:45SPEAKER_01: I I hear that, I already feel that.
- 3:47SPEAKER_03: Right, very cool.
- 3:48SPEAKER_03: It is, it's very, it's just a great, it's the best job ever created in the world.
- 3:53SPEAKER_03: Like, you get paid for that.
- 3:54SPEAKER_03: I'm like, shh.
- 3:56SPEAKER_03: But yeah, it is.
- 3:56SPEAKER_03: It's great.
- 3:57SPEAKER_03: Power of connection, people, right?
- 3:59SPEAKER_03: Absolutely.
- 4:00SPEAKER_03: So your inspiration was Carrie Underwood.
- 4:02SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 4:02SPEAKER_03: We love country music.
- 4:04SPEAKER_03: Tell me when you're like light bulb moment.
- 4:06SPEAKER_03: This is what I'm gonna do the rest of my life.
- 4:07SPEAKER_01: Oh, all right, it's a good story.
- 4:08SPEAKER_01: Uh, so I was 16 years old, um, and I was having just one of those, you know, rotten 16-year-old days.
- 4:13SPEAKER_01: You know what I'm saying?
- 4:14SPEAKER_01: 16-year-old girls, man.
- 4:16SPEAKER_01: That's actually I wouldn't go back.
- 4:18SPEAKER_01: Would you ever no, I wouldn't go back to high school.
- 4:19SPEAKER_01: I wouldn't go back there at all.
- 4:20SPEAKER_01: And uh, but it doesn't have dark days.
- 4:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it was like I don't like mean girls.
- 4:25SPEAKER_01: Dark times, no, definitely not.
- 4:26SPEAKER_01: But I was uh I was just having one of those days I wouldn't come out of my room, of course.
- 4:30SPEAKER_01: And dad came down and he said, What do you need to make you happy?
- 4:33SPEAKER_01: And I said, Nashville, Tennessee.
- 4:35SPEAKER_01: I don't know where that came from.
- 4:36SPEAKER_01: I'd never been before.
- 4:37SPEAKER_01: I love that.
- 4:38SPEAKER_01: And he said, Okay, and we left, yeah, we left the uh the Thanksgiving dinner table, which I found out this year that my relatives were like, What the hell was that?
- 4:46SPEAKER_03: Too bad you're a rock star, they'll let you get used to it.
- 4:48SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 4:49SPEAKER_01: Boom.
- 4:49SPEAKER_01: And anyway, so we came to Nashville.
- 4:51SPEAKER_03: You don't like it, don't come.
- 4:53SPEAKER_01: There it is.
- 4:54SPEAKER_01: And we uh yeah, we came to Nashville and um I sang Patsy Klein Walking After Midnight at Rippy's Honky Tonk downtown.
- 5:00SPEAKER_01: And there was a light that flipped on.
- 5:02SPEAKER_03: I love that.
- 5:03SPEAKER_03: I love crazy, like I love it so much.
- 5:07SPEAKER_03: So good.
- 5:08SPEAKER_03: I see you and I drinking martinis singing in a bar together.
- 5:10SPEAKER_03: It's going to happen.
- 5:11SPEAKER_03: Totally.
- 5:11SPEAKER_03: It might happen today.
- 5:13SPEAKER_01: What are you doing after this?
- 5:14SPEAKER_01: Is this crazy?
- 5:15SPEAKER_05: Crazy.
- 5:17SPEAKER_01: I know I'm convincing them to hang with me all day long.
- 5:19SPEAKER_01: I'm like, at least you believe me.
- 5:20SPEAKER_01: I'll be so sad when you guys go.
- 5:22SPEAKER_01: Keep serving this, and we're gonna be just fine.
- 5:23SPEAKER_01: Girl, actually.
- 5:24SPEAKER_03: There's an Uber with our name on it.
- 5:27SPEAKER_03: For sure there is.
- 5:28SPEAKER_03: Deb, are you a karaoke or with enough drinks?
- 5:31SPEAKER_03: Sure.
- 5:32SPEAKER_03: I'm a skydiver.
- 5:35SPEAKER_01: You're like, whatever you want me to be, I'll go do that.
- 5:37SPEAKER_03: I would love to go do karaoke.
- 5:39SPEAKER_04: My my thing is I won't do karaoke alone.
- 5:41SPEAKER_04: But I'll do it if I'm if I'm like having a good time.
- 5:44SPEAKER_04: And with my friends, I'll be like, it is a friend's music, Timmy.
- 5:48SPEAKER_04: What's that?
- 5:48SPEAKER_03: Do you ever sing your own music?
- 5:50SPEAKER_04: No, no, no.
- 5:51SPEAKER_04: No.
- 5:53SPEAKER_04: I couldn't.
- 5:54SPEAKER_04: I couldn't.
- 5:55SPEAKER_03: That's so funny.
- 5:56SPEAKER_03: I think if I was Narciss, I'd be like, I'm singing my own shit.
- 5:58SPEAKER_01: Like, absolutely, absolutely.
- 6:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 6:00SPEAKER_01: But it's kind of one of those things too.
- 6:01SPEAKER_01: I always say when people ask me if I karaoke.
- 6:03SPEAKER_01: It's like, it's when you do it for a living, you know, on your off time, you want to be doing the opposite.
- 6:08SPEAKER_01: I actually want to just be the girly in the corner sitting.
- 6:10SPEAKER_01: So I've I've seriously never karaoked, but again, for you, I might do that.
- 6:15SPEAKER_03: We'd blow off the boom.
- 6:16SPEAKER_03: So I did, I think I'm I'm easily swayed.
- 6:20SPEAKER_03: I'm the friend that can talk anybody into anything.
- 6:23SPEAKER_03: You?
- 6:23SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I am.
- 6:24SPEAKER_03: Like, even my husband's like, girl, I didn't want that last drink.
- 6:28SPEAKER_03: I just what are you doing?
- 6:29SPEAKER_03: And I'm like, don't be a man.
- 6:31SPEAKER_01: Like, man up.
- 6:32SPEAKER_01: I love it.
- 6:32SPEAKER_01: It's okay.
- 6:33SPEAKER_01: You know, you're an influence, a positive.
- 6:34SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and I'm totally the girl that will go down a rabbit hole.
- 6:37SPEAKER_03: Like, if anybody says fun, I'm like, I'm in.
- 6:40SPEAKER_03: I love it.
- 6:40SPEAKER_03: They're like, it's gonna be fun.
- 6:41SPEAKER_03: I'm like, you didn't have to tell me that.
- 6:42SPEAKER_03: I'm still in.
- 6:43SPEAKER_04: Yeah, Deb and I got spontaneous tattoos.
- 6:45SPEAKER_04: We didn't at the at the NFC RS, we're just like, screw it, let's go get tattoos.
- 6:50SPEAKER_04: We're hanging out the opening.
- 6:52SPEAKER_02: What are these tattoos?
- 6:53SPEAKER_04: Uh I have I have one right here that's just a lightning bolt, and she got one that just says happy hours.
- 6:59SPEAKER_03: Okay, we just got like 67 interviews or something, and he co-hosted earlier in the week with me.
- 7:05SPEAKER_03: Um, Timmy's pretty familiar with the chair next to Deb.
- 7:08SPEAKER_03: And uh we literally were like, let's go get tattoos.
- 7:12SPEAKER_01: As you should.
- 7:13SPEAKER_01: I love that it's a happy hour with Deb.
- 7:15SPEAKER_01: You know, so if you drink so much on happy hour, you can totally, and I made it so it was so his dad is his manager, and he's the coolest dude you ever met in your life.
- 7:24SPEAKER_03: We became like little schoolgirls.
- 7:26SPEAKER_03: Of course.
- 7:26SPEAKER_03: Like if I have something to like gossip about, I call Jason.
- 7:29SPEAKER_03: I'm like, Jesus.
- 7:30SPEAKER_03: And he's so cool.
- 7:31SPEAKER_03: So you're and they your dad had left like that night before for Vegas or something at Tripwire.
- 7:34SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I think he went to Vegas here.
- 7:36SPEAKER_04: So I was bought your club.
- 7:37SPEAKER_04: I was just like, there chilling.
- 7:39SPEAKER_03: He's like, Can I go?
- 7:40SPEAKER_04: I was like, I'll tell him, I'll text him and just put him in.
- 7:42SPEAKER_03: And even so, like, are you okay with it?
- 7:44SPEAKER_03: He goes, as long as you're with him, I'm totally cool.
- 7:46SPEAKER_03: I'm like, we're not going to strip clubs, it's fine.
- 7:47SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 7:48SPEAKER_03: We're just getting tattoos, inking our bodies forever.
- 7:51SPEAKER_05: Getting like 10 of them.
- 7:52SPEAKER_03: Seriously, you're gonna be telling your kids that story.
- 7:54SPEAKER_04: Stop.
- 7:55SPEAKER_04: No, it's a it's a great story.
- 7:57SPEAKER_04: I have zero.
- 7:58SPEAKER_04: Uh I'm slack.
- 7:59SPEAKER_03: That's because you're not drinking right now.
- 8:00SPEAKER_05: I need a I need a uh Eagles Eagles tattoo.
- 8:04SPEAKER_05: Yeah, my biggest passion of being tattooed.
- 8:06SPEAKER_05: I'll ease into it.
- 8:07SPEAKER_03: Yeah, when the Eagles went to the Super Bowl years ago, um, my friends are big fans, you know, so they're like, you know, we're gonna tattoo.
- 8:18SPEAKER_03: And I'm like, they're like, if they win the super.
- 8:20SPEAKER_03: I'm like, if they go to the Super Bowl.
- 8:21SPEAKER_03: So I have the old school, like filled up where nobody can see.
- 8:24SPEAKER_03: And I'm like, it's great.
- 8:26SPEAKER_03: I remember starting to date my husband and like like the first sleeper.
- 8:30SPEAKER_03: He's like, What's the ink?
- 8:32SPEAKER_03: You know, you're like for you to find out, baby.
- 8:35SPEAKER_03: But it's nobody's like he's an electrical engineer with like a big boy job.
- 8:38SPEAKER_03: Like this is this is like a fairy job.
- 8:41SPEAKER_03: This is a big boy job.
- 8:42SPEAKER_03: It's a big boy job.
- 8:42SPEAKER_03: It's a big boy job.
- 8:43SPEAKER_03: Are you kidding?
- 8:44SPEAKER_03: And he's like, what inspired you?
- 8:45SPEAKER_03: He's a huge Eagles fan, too, you know.
- 8:47SPEAKER_03: He's so so that was my very first.
- 8:49SPEAKER_03: And it's less painful than people think, don't you think?
- 8:52SPEAKER_04: I psyched myself out.
- 8:53SPEAKER_04: My first one was on the ribs, and I was like, this is gonna hurt so bad.
- 8:56SPEAKER_04: Like the tattoo artist he was like, You sure you want to do that?
- 8:59SPEAKER_04: Like, it's like the worst spot you can get tattoos.
- 9:01SPEAKER_04: I've heard that too.
- 9:02SPEAKER_04: I was like, I was like, okay, like I'm just gonna do whatever.
- 9:06SPEAKER_04: No, but it was like not, I think I thought it was gonna be way worse than it actually was.
- 9:10SPEAKER_04: Right.
- 9:10SPEAKER_04: And now it's like the rest, the rest of my tattoos were like hurt way less.
- 9:13SPEAKER_04: I know.
- 9:14SPEAKER_04: So I was like, okay, this is fine.
- 9:15SPEAKER_03: I do, I know.
- 9:16SPEAKER_03: We did get tatted together.
- 9:18SPEAKER_03: It's great.
- 9:18SPEAKER_03: It's a great Timmy speaker.
- 9:19SPEAKER_03: Well, don't worry, we'll we might be tatted by the weekend.
- 9:22SPEAKER_01: I was gonna say it's only what Wednesday?
- 9:24SPEAKER_01: Right, we got Tad the weekend.
- 9:27SPEAKER_03: It is, amen.
- 9:28SPEAKER_01: It's a private club, you like you can't come in unless you killed your own.
- 9:35SPEAKER_01: That's what I mean.
- 9:35SPEAKER_01: I'm at least happy you're not saying happy hour with Deb.
- 9:37SPEAKER_05: I mean, you that would be a good one.
- 9:38SPEAKER_03: I'm playing.
- 9:40SPEAKER_03: Would you?
- 9:40SPEAKER_03: I would dude, you would make my entire life.
- 9:43SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 9:44SPEAKER_04: I think you have to.
- 9:45SPEAKER_04: H H W D right here.
- 9:47SPEAKER_05: Happy hour with Deb.
- 9:48SPEAKER_01: Happy hour with Deb?
- 9:49SPEAKER_01: There is nobody.
- 9:50SPEAKER_04: I cross your neck.
- 9:52SPEAKER_01: That's commitment.
- 9:53SPEAKER_01: It's commitment.
- 9:54SPEAKER_03: You know your body chatted with them.
- 9:57SPEAKER_03: It's totally the truth.
- 9:58SPEAKER_03: But yeah, I know this show is morphed into some crazy shit.
- 10:02SPEAKER_03: But so you came to Nashville, you left the table on Thanksgiving.
- 10:06SPEAKER_03: I did.
- 10:07SPEAKER_03: What'd your mom say?
- 10:08SPEAKER_01: Uh mom was, you know, did she pack you up?
- 10:10SPEAKER_03: She's like, here's the stuffing, here's the cranberry.
- 10:12SPEAKER_01: She was extremely supportive.
- 10:13SPEAKER_01: I'm I love that.
- 10:14SPEAKER_01: Just in a go live your life, go do the thing.
- 10:16SPEAKER_01: My parents are very, very, very, very supportive of the entire career, which is something I'm very grateful for.
- 10:21SPEAKER_01: Congratulations.
- 10:22SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 10:24SPEAKER_01: That support is incredible.
- 10:25SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 10:26SPEAKER_01: I'm learning the longer I'm here, that that is such a unique experience.
- 10:30SPEAKER_01: It's a tool and a toolbox that you need to have.
- 10:32SPEAKER_01: You absolutely do.
- 10:32SPEAKER_01: And they come to every single show.
- 10:33SPEAKER_01: And my my sweet mother sells my merch, and my dad.
- 10:36SPEAKER_01: Actually, this was really sweet.
- 10:37SPEAKER_01: I I started a nonprofit showcase out here called Ovation, and we had a show on December 1st, and I looked over and I had just like a moment.
- 10:44SPEAKER_01: My sweet father was putting QR codes on all the tables and he was making sure they were straight.
- 10:48SPEAKER_01: And there was just a moment of like, oh my god, 10 years later.
- 10:52SPEAKER_01: You know, 10 years later.
- 10:53SPEAKER_01: That's how long you've been here in Nashville.
- 10:55SPEAKER_01: I've been here seven years, but ten years since the first time.
- 10:57SPEAKER_01: Since the since you were your breakthrough since you breakthrough since I decided to.
- 11:00SPEAKER_05: Talk about ovation.
- 11:01SPEAKER_05: What what do you do for that?
- 11:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 11:03SPEAKER_01: So I was a middle school guidance counselor before I decided to do music.
- 11:07SPEAKER_01: You stop it.
- 11:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 11:09SPEAKER_03: How many mean girls did you have that you had to like stop now?
- 11:12SPEAKER_03: I had a lot of mean girls.
- 11:13SPEAKER_01: Mean girls for me in high school, hence what got me to Nashville.
- 11:15SPEAKER_01: So thanks, Mean Girls.
- 11:17SPEAKER_01: You really got the career path out.
- 11:19SPEAKER_03: Watch me win.
- 11:20SPEAKER_05: No, truly, they're gonna be buying tickets.
- 11:23SPEAKER_01: You're gonna watch me win.
- 11:24SPEAKER_01: It's already starting to kind of happen, which is a very interesting thing.
- 11:27SPEAKER_01: You know, people rewrite the past and like I don't blame them.
- 11:29SPEAKER_01: I think at 16 we all have weird moments in our brains, you know, that make us act different.
- 11:34SPEAKER_01: So I I give people grace and I have compassion.
- 11:37SPEAKER_01: However, it has been a weird full circle of oh my god, we're besties.
- 11:40SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, I don't remember anything.
- 11:43SPEAKER_01: You know, how about that?
- 11:45SPEAKER_01: How about the dream age?
- 11:46SPEAKER_01: I don't remember that story.
- 11:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 11:49SPEAKER_01: But um, anyway, so the whole full circle for me has been, yeah, the the social work world.
- 11:54SPEAKER_01: I kind of was telling my students every day to do what scared them, and I realized I wasn't.
- 11:58SPEAKER_03: I tell people, if you're not, if your shit doesn't scare you, you're not dreaming big enough.
- 12:01SPEAKER_03: Thousand percent.
- 12:02SPEAKER_03: And the only way you get from here to here is an uncomfortable, like get comfortable with being uncomfortable.
- 12:08SPEAKER_01: Was that a huge thing with you?
- 12:10SPEAKER_01: You you just kind of followed the discipline.
- 12:11SPEAKER_03: Well, I am a life coach and I'm a therapist, and you know, I literally tell people, I'm like, what's stopping you?
- 12:21SPEAKER_03: Like and I love when people are like, I don't know, the laundry and my Aunt Barbara's coming, I'm blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.
- 12:25SPEAKER_03: I'm like, that shit's happening anyway.
- 12:27SPEAKER_03: Totally.
- 12:27SPEAKER_03: Do you want to go out?
- 12:28SPEAKER_03: Like, do you want to live your life?
- 12:29SPEAKER_03: Totally.
- 12:30SPEAKER_03: Or do you want to be a people blazer?
- 12:32SPEAKER_03: Absolutely.
- 12:32SPEAKER_03: You know, and I think it's so important.
- 12:34SPEAKER_03: I'm so happy that you had that experience.
- 12:37SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's true.
- 12:38SPEAKER_03: And you know, in high school, I can't even imagine being a high school guidance counselor, but I think we hesitate, right?
- 12:45SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 12:46SPEAKER_03: We wait for the time, and for everyone listening, there's no magic time.
- 12:50SPEAKER_03: No, there's no perfect time, the door isn't gonna open on today, that won't open tomorrow.
- 12:56SPEAKER_03: It's really you have to jump into your life.
- 12:58SPEAKER_01: You have to, and you have to do it absolutely terrified and be okay with not being perfect.
- 13:03SPEAKER_01: I think for me, that's been the hardest part of jumping into this and saying I might not be completely ready or equipped.
- 13:08SPEAKER_01: However, I love this and I'm gonna lead with intention, and it's gonna figure itself out.
- 13:12SPEAKER_01: So beautiful.
- 13:13SPEAKER_01: That's it, you know?
- 13:14SPEAKER_01: And I think when you love people really, really hard too, they recognize that you're gonna be able to do it.
- 13:17SPEAKER_01: I love hard.
- 13:18SPEAKER_01: I definitely do.
- 13:19SPEAKER_01: I love so hard, and and I used to try to turn the tap down.
- 13:22SPEAKER_01: I used to be like, let me protect myself, blah, blah, blah.
- 13:24SPEAKER_01: But I really, it's so cliche and Pinterest, but it's better to have loved and lost than never love at all, you know?
- 13:29SPEAKER_01: Like we gotta I say that often.
- 13:32SPEAKER_03: It's better to have loved and lost than ever never to have loved at all.
- 13:35SPEAKER_03: Absolutely.
- 13:36SPEAKER_03: And what's the worst that could truly happen?
- 13:38SPEAKER_03: Nobody's tombstone says, you know, oh my god, she went out of her box.
- 13:42SPEAKER_03: Absolutely.
- 13:43SPEAKER_03: It just doesn't, it just doesn't say it.
- 13:45SPEAKER_03: So, you know, and I tell every one of my clients, because you know, I work in trauma and I work in addiction.
- 13:51SPEAKER_03: Um, I work in everything, but I it's watching people step into the best version of themselves is the most beautiful thing.
- 13:59SPEAKER_03: Oh, it's the most beautiful thing.
- 14:00SPEAKER_03: Um God bless my clients, I love you all so much.
- 14:03SPEAKER_03: But um, I'm like, life doesn't come to you.
- 14:06SPEAKER_01: No, go to life.
- 14:08SPEAKER_01: Do you feel too that it we think, at least for me, let me go here.
- 14:13SPEAKER_01: I think we think that the world is against us and really we're against ourselves a lot of the time.
- 14:17SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I think though, like a lot of humans in the world are stuck in victim mode.
- 14:22SPEAKER_03: You know, it's because of this, and because of that, I'm like, shuda coda, what a doesn't matter.
- 14:27SPEAKER_01: It doesn't matter.
- 14:27SPEAKER_01: And that's still such a valid feeling, but you don't have to identify with the feelings passing through.
- 14:31SPEAKER_01: We get 70 million feelings a day, you know what I mean?
- 14:35SPEAKER_01: I feel a lot, baby.
- 14:36SPEAKER_01: Okay, you sit in the feeling.
- 14:38SPEAKER_03: You do.
- 14:39SPEAKER_03: It's okay, we're humans, right?
- 14:40SPEAKER_03: It's okay to be sad, it's okay to be aggravated, it's like go ahead, we're overwhelmed, but when you can master your emotions and your reaction from that, reaction what you give energy to, your reaction is everything.
- 14:52SPEAKER_03: I'm like, when you've mastered life, yes, you know, because uh now I'm in a position where like I choose the energy that's coming into my world, and it's gotta it's gotta be good.
- 15:00SPEAKER_05: And as artists, too, like having that self-awareness is so important because we have to, I mean, our job is to relate to people, right?
- 15:10SPEAKER_05: And to connect.
- 15:11SPEAKER_05: And so if we haven't done that inner work ourselves, you know, it's hard to show someone else, like, hey, how to do it.
- 15:19SPEAKER_05: So we kind of are all like little therapists in a way.
- 15:22SPEAKER_05: Oh, totally.
- 15:23SPEAKER_05: Sure.
- 15:23SPEAKER_05: Yeah, right.
- 15:24SPEAKER_01: Rather than being reactive, I try to be the observer.
- 15:26SPEAKER_01: And if something's coming through, I'm like, huh, that's interesting.
- 15:29SPEAKER_01: Is that how I feel today?
- 15:30SPEAKER_01: You know, but it doesn't mean I'm a sad person.
- 15:32SPEAKER_01: I just felt sadness for a minute.
- 15:33SPEAKER_01: And it means you're a human.
- 15:35SPEAKER_01: Correct.
- 15:35SPEAKER_01: And it's so beautiful that we get to feel those things.
- 15:37SPEAKER_01: I mean, truly we're alive, and it it really is.
- 15:40SPEAKER_01: The more you get into this world, uh, this artistry, and I don't even think it's just to our industry, I think it's it's a life skill.
- 15:47SPEAKER_06: Right.
- 15:48SPEAKER_01: As long as you can let things pass through and observe them and learn from them and let things go, you're actually friggin' the ruler of your entire life.
- 15:54SPEAKER_03: You're totally quick to get the emotion away.
- 15:59SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 15:59SPEAKER_03: You know, we're so quick to like I need a drink, or oh I go on a line, whatever it is.
- 16:03SPEAKER_03: But if you sit in the motion, then you can really start to understand how it's in your life and how it affects you.
- 16:10SPEAKER_03: Absolutely.
- 16:10SPEAKER_01: Then you can rule it.
- 16:11SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 16:12SPEAKER_01: Like a queen.
- 16:14SPEAKER_01: It's amazing truly to recognize the power that you have.
- 16:16SPEAKER_01: But again, you have to see it within yourself, or you ain't gonna do nothing.
- 16:19SPEAKER_01: You know, so it's hard.
- 16:20SPEAKER_01: Don't let anybody else validate.
- 16:22SPEAKER_01: It's true, it's true.
- 16:23SPEAKER_03: Light your own birthday candles.
- 16:24SPEAKER_01: I love that though, that you have been in, you know, kind of the the trauma life coaching world.
- 16:29SPEAKER_01: Did that come from your past experiences?
- 16:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 16:32SPEAKER_03: Um, I had a rough childhood.
- 16:34SPEAKER_03: Um, I'm not that girl.
- 16:35SPEAKER_03: Like, feel sorry for Deb.
- 16:37SPEAKER_03: I'm not.
- 16:38SPEAKER_03: Everything that has ever happened to me in my life has led me to sitting here with these fantastic people.
- 16:43SPEAKER_03: So I'm grateful for every storm, I'm grateful for every sunny day.
- 16:47SPEAKER_03: But um I remember just feeling like as a kid and like growing up, you know, I'm like, I felt this, I was this small, I was this small little Deb.
- 16:56SPEAKER_03: You know, and I didn't when I went to school, I'm like, I don't no, I don't want any human to ever feel that shitty.
- 17:03SPEAKER_03: And that was my mission.
- 17:05SPEAKER_03: I'm like, I want to give people the tools, I want to give people the outlet.
- 17:10SPEAKER_03: I want to empower people to run their own shit.
- 17:13SPEAKER_03: Yes, you know, and don't don't worry about it.
- 17:16SPEAKER_03: And terrible things have happened to every single in some degree to every single one of us.
- 17:21SPEAKER_03: But that's okay because sometimes you need thick skin and sometimes you need a tan, sometimes you need a tat.
- 17:26SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 17:27SPEAKER_03: You just never know, right?
- 17:29SPEAKER_01: I love it.
- 17:29SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you're absolutely right.
- 17:30SPEAKER_01: I think the best advice and I want to hear about y'all's advice too, because if you had anything in your life that has kind of shifted the way you look at things, but I had a um band teacher, Mr.
- 17:41SPEAKER_01: Stevens, shout out, um, and he was huge in just kind of seeing bigger for me than I could see for myself at the time.
- 17:47SPEAKER_01: And I remember we were doing something, I don't even remember, and I go into his office afterwards, and in the context, he basically was like, I was telling him that I feel things so deeply, whatever.
- 17:57SPEAKER_01: And he looked at me and he was like, You're not that special.
- 18:00SPEAKER_01: And I remember thinking of course like up.
- 18:03SPEAKER_01: And Santa Claus isn't real.
- 18:04SPEAKER_03: By the way, your parents put the money under your shoe, there's no fairy.
- 18:07SPEAKER_01: 1000%, right?
- 18:07SPEAKER_01: But at first, at first I remember it rocking me, being like, What like, oh my god, how rude.
- 18:12SPEAKER_01: And I was like angry deep down.
- 18:13SPEAKER_01: But it sat with me so much where he was meaning it in the context of like We all feel it.
- 18:18SPEAKER_01: We all feel this.
- 18:18SPEAKER_01: Like it you're not that special to think that you're the only one that's alone, or that you're the only one struggling.
- 18:23SPEAKER_01: And so it's actually a very empowering fear.
- 18:25SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 18:26SPEAKER_01: So when I struggle, I go, I'm not that special.
- 18:27SPEAKER_01: No, everyone feels that.
- 18:29SPEAKER_03: And you know, I think too, people don't understand the power of connection with another human.
- 18:37SPEAKER_03: Whether it's an artist or whether it's in therapy or worry, everybody's got a cheerleader, you know, or find a cheerleader if you don't have one.
- 18:47SPEAKER_03: And and it it's really, you know, the power of a good person in your life is so pivotal.
- 18:53SPEAKER_03: Like the people that have been with me have been through the best times of my life and the really the bottom times of my life.
- 19:00SPEAKER_03: And that's how you know those are your people.
- 19:02SPEAKER_01: Totally.
- 19:03SPEAKER_01: Do you guys have experiences like that where you have someone said something to you and you were like, that shifted the way I think of things.
- 19:09SPEAKER_04: Oh yeah.
- 19:10SPEAKER_04: I mean there's a bunch, there's a bunch of stuff that's like kind of shifted the way I look at stuff.
- 19:16SPEAKER_04: Definitely.
- 19:16SPEAKER_04: I'd say, like, I don't know, most most of the stuff that's like shifted my thinking or like and stuff like that, it's almost been the more negative side of things.
- 19:25SPEAKER_04: Like I was talking to Deb one time.
- 19:27SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 19:27SPEAKER_04: Like, you remember that story I was telling you about.
- 19:29SPEAKER_03: I totally I literally well up every please tell.
- 19:32SPEAKER_03: Do you mind sharing it?
- 19:33SPEAKER_04: Yeah, so um this it was the night before I was auditioning for American Idol, and I was fifteen.
- 19:41SPEAKER_04: I like just made the age cutoff.
- 19:43SPEAKER_04: And so I go and like I had been up like all I got up at like six a.m.
- 19:47SPEAKER_04: that morning.
- 19:48SPEAKER_04: I went to sleep at like 12, then they woke me up, like, and they were like, hey, you gotta come down and like meet with like the producers, whatever.
- 19:54SPEAKER_04: So like it was by the time I got done with that, it was 3 a.m.
- 19:57SPEAKER_04: My like audition was the next time.
- 19:59SPEAKER_01: I was about to say you're 15.
- 20:00SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 20:01SPEAKER_04: And so I get back, I get back, and I'm just like scrolling through my Instagram comments, whatever.
- 20:06SPEAKER_04: I see uh one dude and he DM'd me and he's like sent this like horrible message, and he's like basically.
- 20:13SPEAKER_03: It took up all the taxes that you filmed.
- 20:15SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, like he maxed out on this DM.
- 20:18SPEAKER_04: He's like a thousand hours.
- 20:30SPEAKER_04: And it kind of rocked me because I like I was like, I'm auditioning for American Idol tomorrow.
- 20:33SPEAKER_04: Like how keep eating cheetahs, yeah.
- 20:36SPEAKER_04: So like but then my mom, my mom, like luckily she was there, and she was just like, you know, I've had a lot of people say a lot of nasty things to me in life, and like nobody's ever gotten through something like that by dwelling on it.
- 20:52SPEAKER_03: No, amen.
- 20:54SPEAKER_04: If somebody's like I always think about it, if somebody somebody can only drag you down by being below you.
- 21:00SPEAKER_04: Absolutely.
- 21:01SPEAKER_04: Absolutely, that's so beautiful.
- 21:03SPEAKER_04: They can only drag you down if they're and and if they're if they're like saying something negative about you, that's just highlighting an insecurity that they have.
- 21:10SPEAKER_04: Absolutely.
- 21:11SPEAKER_04: They're in a broken one.
- 21:12SPEAKER_04: Yeah, they're the broken one.
- 21:13SPEAKER_03: No, because it's such a miserable misery loves company, and it's such a miserable place to be in.
- 21:18SPEAKER_03: So they're trying to gather their troops, you know, and it is misery loves company.
- 21:24SPEAKER_05: It's uh it's always a reflection of the other person.
- 21:27SPEAKER_05: Absolutely.
- 21:28SPEAKER_03: But when it hurts, it's so hard to understand.
- 21:31SPEAKER_05: It's tough, but then you get thick skin, and then you're like, once you get callous.
- 21:36SPEAKER_05: It's like like, okay, thanks for the engagement.
- 21:39SPEAKER_04: Yeah, like then you just laugh at it.
- 21:41SPEAKER_04: Like, you're now at the point in my life where it's just like somebody says something negative, I'm like, all right, cool, you can't my videos do that.
- 21:48SPEAKER_04: Like you're trolling that.
- 21:50SPEAKER_04: Yeah, exactly.
- 21:50SPEAKER_01: I wonder, I wonder though, if that confidence from you comes from you know it within yourself.
- 21:54SPEAKER_01: You know, maybe 15 when someone says that to you, you kind of believe it because you're like, Well, maybe I'm not that cool, but when you actually Have that confidence, it doesn't shake you.
- 22:02SPEAKER_04: And I was so insecure.
- 22:03SPEAKER_04: Like when I was a child.
- 22:05SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I was I I didn't even know who I was yet.
- 22:07SPEAKER_04: And I was like, I don't even know why I'm auditioning to you.
- 22:10SPEAKER_04: And like, yeah, so like all my insecurities I had, like it got brought out when I heard when I like read that message.
- 22:15SPEAKER_04: But now it's like if I see something like that, it doesn't bother me because I know who I am.
- 22:19SPEAKER_04: I'm securing myself.
- 22:20SPEAKER_03: It's like, uh Did you ever have something like that?
- 22:23SPEAKER_05: I mean, when I put so like I broke my toe last year.
- 22:28SPEAKER_05: And I was bad.
- 22:29SPEAKER_03: Sorry, and that's gotta hurt.
- 22:31SPEAKER_03: Okay, that gotta hurt.
- 22:34SPEAKER_03: You were meant to be on the show.
- 22:35SPEAKER_05: Actually, Kenny Jesney walked in the gym right when the dumbbell fell on it.
- 22:39SPEAKER_05: And I was like, of course, of all the times I get to meet you, it's like hey Kenny.
- 22:44SPEAKER_05: He's like, I'm like, yeah.
- 22:46SPEAKER_01: He is Barefoot Nation, so he's a gotta guy.
- 22:51SPEAKER_05: Yeah, I didn't think of that.
- 22:52SPEAKER_05: But yeah, so like like so I had a broken foot and I was like, oh, so in the gutter, just like I had all these shows booked.
- 22:59SPEAKER_05: I was like, oh man, I can't.
- 23:01SPEAKER_05: And uh so it's like, oh, let me write a rap song.
- 23:05SPEAKER_05: I'm a country artist.
- 23:06SPEAKER_05: And so a white dude from the suburbs of Philly putting out a song about Phillies, the Phillies uh baseball team.
- 23:15SPEAKER_05: It's a dope track.
- 23:17SPEAKER_05: It is a hard track.
- 23:19SPEAKER_05: It was mastered by like Nathan Bansburg and like the it's fire, right?
- 23:25SPEAKER_05: It is fire.
- 23:26SPEAKER_05: The Phillies might use it still, but uh the comments.
- 23:30SPEAKER_05: I got the full force of Philly in my comment.
- 23:33SPEAKER_05: 10,000 people saying the same thing that guy said.
- 23:35SPEAKER_05: And it's like at first, like it hits you, and you're like, you know what?
- 23:39SPEAKER_05: Like, you're like at the end of the day, they're just like commenting on some random post they saw.
- 23:44SPEAKER_05: Right.
- 23:45SPEAKER_05: But like you can't accept that.
- 23:48SPEAKER_05: You know what I mean?
- 23:49SPEAKER_05: And then like there I was like a couple months later opening for Post Malone at the bank.
- 23:54SPEAKER_05: Like, and they're like and then they're there.
- 23:57SPEAKER_05: And they're the ones watching, and it's like, yeah, like you guys are crazy.
- 24:00SPEAKER_05: Like, right, so you can't you can't allow that to impact you, and like you just have to stay in your lane, drown out the noise, and just like just like I I'm like entering a season too, like where I'm trying to get really intentional with like the people around me, my circle, and just like cutting out the noise.
- 24:20SPEAKER_05: And and when you do that, like you don't even hear the craziness.
- 24:24SPEAKER_05: You're absolutely right.
- 24:25SPEAKER_01: You gotta just put your head down.
- 24:26SPEAKER_01: Somebody called you Karen last week.
- 24:30SPEAKER_01: Wait, what do you mean?
- 24:30SPEAKER_03: Like just you just had an opinion and no, I think it was I don't even know if it was under oh, it was um I'm sure it was under, you know.
- 24:36SPEAKER_03: I have a page for my professional page, and I have a happy hour debt page, which is the polar opposite of professional.
- 24:42SPEAKER_03: But um somebody on my on my coaching page said something about the podcast.
- 24:48SPEAKER_03: And I'm like, thanks for listening.
- 24:50SPEAKER_03: Totally.
- 24:51SPEAKER_03: Thanks for watching.
- 24:52SPEAKER_03: Totally.
- 24:52SPEAKER_03: And then he's like, You're racist show, low quality.
- 24:59SPEAKER_03: I am a fighter.
- 25:01SPEAKER_03: I'm like, I literally, my husband's like, here's some other mitts, we're gonna duct tape these on you.
- 25:07SPEAKER_03: You're sleeping these suckers because you're a crazy person.
- 25:10SPEAKER_03: And I just together, yeah.
- 25:11SPEAKER_03: But I literally, I'm like, and then he's like, You're will never cut up on my algorithm.
- 25:16SPEAKER_03: I'm like, Did Jesus bring me into your life?
- 25:18SPEAKER_03: Like, how did you find me?
- 25:20SPEAKER_03: You know, so uh you know, there's when we were growing up, there's some he just doesn't know what he's missing.
- 25:26SPEAKER_03: That he doesn't know what he's missing, dude.
- 25:27SPEAKER_03: Guess what?
- 25:27SPEAKER_03: You're not coming a happy hour.
- 25:29SPEAKER_03: Um some of the old school rules that we were grown up on, like if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.
- 25:35SPEAKER_03: We've forgotten that.
- 25:37SPEAKER_03: You know, that we're we're put on this earth to lift each other up, not push each other down.
- 25:41SPEAKER_03: Yeah, absolutely.
- 25:41SPEAKER_03: You know, but there's a whole community of pusher downers, and that's cool.
- 25:44SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I hope you get your Doritos and your mom's basement when you're playing PS3 and her dryer breaks and she finally throws you out at the end of it.
- 25:53SPEAKER_01: Absolutely, but I do I do think it's super important to note that everything is a projection.
- 25:58SPEAKER_01: Like everything is like think about Vincent Van Gogh, right?
- 26:01SPEAKER_01: This man's cutting his ear off and he's painting Starry Night.
- 26:03SPEAKER_01: Like it's the most like iconic painting in history, right?
- 26:07SPEAKER_01: Because he was he was painting his soul, and so I think as artists, our goal and our our truly legacy is becoming the best version inside so that everything that comes out of us is going to make the world better.
- 26:18SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 26:19SPEAKER_01: And in the and the ver vice versa, you know, people that are commenting those things on pages, it's right, it's it has nothing to do with us as well.
- 26:25SPEAKER_03: I'm almost like, how many hours did you scroll till you found me?
- 26:28SPEAKER_06: It gives you compassion.
- 26:29SPEAKER_05: You know, like how many they see something in you that they need within themselves, and they feel like if they put it, if they put you down, then they feel like they've achieved something.
- 26:40SPEAKER_05: But really, like maybe they're afraid to chase their gym or what they want to do.
- 26:43SPEAKER_03: People who get feel bigger for making people feel smaller are true terrorists.
- 26:50SPEAKER_01: I and I don't even know if it's as conscious as we think it is for that, you know, like because sometimes it's hard for us to say, oh, that's such a bad person.
- 26:56SPEAKER_01: But I I think people just, especially behind a phone, they're just you're not a human being anymore.
- 27:01SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 27:02SPEAKER_03: You're not, and that's very weird.
- 27:04SPEAKER_03: Like it's a very real I don't I never really was even on social media before the show and and before the business, but it's like I'm just I'm just trying to grow a business, I'm just trying to spread goodness, I'm trying to give you guys a platform to show I love people that chase dreams, and that's what the show is based on.
- 27:23SPEAKER_03: I want the people that are like, I'm I'm doing it, I'm rocking it out, you know.
- 27:27SPEAKER_03: And no matter how big or how small, I think there has to be a platform for people who believe in people.
- 27:33SPEAKER_01: Absolutely, and growing publicly is very difficult.
- 27:35SPEAKER_03: It is like we are not.
- 27:37SPEAKER_03: You almost don't feel like yourself.
- 27:38SPEAKER_01: Like sometimes when I watch the show back or something, I'm like, how was that check?
- 27:43SPEAKER_01: No, it's it's it's unique, it's a unique experience being like, I don't know who I was at 20, but at the time I was doing the best I could with what I knew.
- 27:49SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 27:49SPEAKER_01: And you have to just give yourself grace for every period, like even knowing ourselves now.
- 27:54SPEAKER_01: You're gonna make the best decision for yourself as the brain that is happening, absolutely, and so you need to know that in five years you might say something embarrassing now, but again, you were answering how you were acquainted with the case.
- 28:04SPEAKER_01: That was your word, you know, and so you you have compassion rather than this like shame that manifests inside of you, you know.
- 28:09SPEAKER_01: And we're we are way harder on ourselves than we will ever be on a strength.
- 28:13SPEAKER_03: You know what I mean?
- 28:14SPEAKER_03: If you're a good person, we are way we see imperfections that nobody sees.
- 28:19SPEAKER_03: Well, we know ourselves, yeah.
- 28:21SPEAKER_03: Right, but and then I use give yourself grace to my clients all the time.
- 28:25SPEAKER_03: Oh my god.
- 28:25SPEAKER_03: And it's you know, they'll go there like, and then I am like, you're human.
- 28:29SPEAKER_03: You know what you just described to me?
- 28:30SPEAKER_03: A human emotion.
- 28:32SPEAKER_01: Absolutely, and we're all surviving out here.
- 28:33SPEAKER_01: Like, let's be real.
- 28:34SPEAKER_01: Like it doesn't, I mean, come on, not even in the music, but in the game of life we're all surviving, you know.
- 28:40SPEAKER_03: I think that is it's such great, you're such a great guest.
- 28:43SPEAKER_03: That's such solid sound advice.
- 28:45SPEAKER_03: And I love when you start to get your answers from within and you start to trust your gut and you find your people, your confidence explodes.
- 28:54SPEAKER_03: And when your confidence explodes, your motivation explodes.
- 28:57SPEAKER_03: And your your fans and your fans and your fans.
- 29:01SPEAKER_03: Oh, I just had a an artist that was my fan.
- 29:02SPEAKER_03: That was my first time on my stand back, this girl's my fan.
- 29:06SPEAKER_03: But you know, it's really it.
- 29:09SPEAKER_03: Yeah, we love you.
- 29:10SPEAKER_03: We love you, girl.
- 29:11SPEAKER_03: But it's really you, your your people come.
- 29:14SPEAKER_01: They do, they totally do.
- 29:16SPEAKER_01: Well, when you I think energy attracts, not to be all woo-woo.
- 29:19SPEAKER_01: It's not woo-woo to me.
- 29:20SPEAKER_01: Like I jumped.
- 29:20SPEAKER_01: Oh, it's not woo-woo in science.
- 29:22SPEAKER_01: Like, no, like modern day miracles are whenever you you can choose how to operate, and it takes a lot because our brains they condition certain ways.
- 29:29SPEAKER_01: But when you condition yourself to see the positive and give off good energy, you're gonna attract those people.
- 29:34SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 29:35SPEAKER_01: And so you're still having the same existence.
- 29:36SPEAKER_01: 100% looks different.
- 29:37SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I don't like I I think like I do an energy check.
- 29:40SPEAKER_03: I'm like, and when somebody Katie, I love you.
- 29:44SPEAKER_03: That's a Leah's mom.
- 29:45SPEAKER_03: You know, she had a friend that was staying at her house one time and we were kind of celebrating my birthday.
- 29:49SPEAKER_03: I I celebrate an entire month for my birthday, the entire month of August.
- 29:52SPEAKER_03: And people who don't, you don't think you're working on it?
- 29:54SPEAKER_05: It's a great idea.
- 29:56SPEAKER_05: I'm August 18th.
- 29:56SPEAKER_03: August 10th?
- 29:57SPEAKER_03: I'm August 28th.
- 29:58SPEAKER_03: Girl, cool.
- 29:59SPEAKER_03: We're getting tired.
- 29:59SPEAKER_03: Are we Virgos?
- 30:00SPEAKER_03: Oh no, I'm a Leo.
- 30:01SPEAKER_03: Oh, we're right on the okay.
- 30:03SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 30:03SPEAKER_03: But I when people tell me they don't, and everybody knows.
- 30:07SPEAKER_03: Do you you know when birthday month's coming?
- 30:09SPEAKER_03: And everybody calls me like, happy 14th day of birthday month.
- 30:13SPEAKER_05: I love that.
- 30:14SPEAKER_05: That's so cool.
- 30:14SPEAKER_05: Please do it.
- 30:15SPEAKER_05: That's a great idea.
- 30:15SPEAKER_05: I'm July.
- 30:16SPEAKER_05: It's July.
- 30:18SPEAKER_03: It'd be so much fun.
- 30:20SPEAKER_05: Stack up.
- 30:20SPEAKER_03: Stack them up, right?
- 30:21SPEAKER_03: And I truly say, like, you don't think you're worthy of 30 days of fabulous, cool shit.
- 30:28SPEAKER_03: I do.
- 30:29SPEAKER_03: I totally do.
- 30:30SPEAKER_03: Shit, I'm going for 365.
- 30:32SPEAKER_03: I said, what do you mean the month of August?
- 30:34SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 30:34SPEAKER_03: I'm only 29, but the summer I turned 50 by actual birthday.
- 30:38SPEAKER_05: I'm alive every day.
- 30:39SPEAKER_05: Every day, right?
- 30:40SPEAKER_03: I mean, live life.
- 30:41SPEAKER_03: So, and so I had birthday summer.
- 30:43SPEAKER_03: And by the end, my friends were like, I'm broke, I'm exhausted, I have liver disease.
- 30:48SPEAKER_03: I'm checking into Betty Ford, and I'm like, was it the best summer of your life?
- 30:51SPEAKER_03: They're like, Yeah, my you're welcome.
- 30:52SPEAKER_03: You know what hell yeah.
- 30:53SPEAKER_03: You're welcome.
- 30:54SPEAKER_03: I want every one of you to Jimmy, when's your birthday?
- 30:57SPEAKER_03: What month?
- 30:57SPEAKER_03: October.
- 30:58SPEAKER_04: November.
- 30:58SPEAKER_03: November.
- 30:59SPEAKER_03: I was close right there.
- 31:00SPEAKER_03: November.
- 31:01SPEAKER_03: And I know you just had a birthday.
- 31:03SPEAKER_03: And April.
- 31:05SPEAKER_03: May May.
- 31:06SPEAKER_03: Damn, how do I do that?
- 31:07SPEAKER_03: That's what I'm saying.
- 31:07SPEAKER_01: If we celebrate all year round, we're gonna hit every birthday and it's a big day.
- 31:10SPEAKER_01: Amen.
- 31:11SPEAKER_03: When Walt Disney years ago, when he hit like the anniversary of something, they did a year-long celebration, and that man's not even on the planet.
- 31:18SPEAKER_03: Why does he get a year?
- 31:20SPEAKER_03: And I get a day.
- 31:21SPEAKER_03: He has roller cursors.
- 31:22SPEAKER_03: Did I get a day?
- 31:23SPEAKER_03: Screw that.
- 31:24SPEAKER_03: I'm not Jared, when's your birthday, honey?
- 31:26SPEAKER_03: May.
- 31:27SPEAKER_03: There you go.
- 31:27SPEAKER_05: Dude, we're gonna explode this place up and maybe both your birthdays.
- 31:30SPEAKER_05: July, August.
- 31:31SPEAKER_05: Just I think it's beautiful.
- 31:34SPEAKER_01: I think we should operate every day.
- 31:35SPEAKER_01: I mean, today is someone's birthday, so we're gonna celebrate that.
- 31:38SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
- 31:39SPEAKER_03: Celebrate life, I do.
- 31:40SPEAKER_03: I mean, you know, life is about stacking small wins.
- 31:44SPEAKER_03: Absolutely.
- 31:44SPEAKER_03: There's so many reasons to be like, I didn't look at it, blah blah blah.
- 31:49SPEAKER_03: You know, if you made your bed and you got up and you were kind to people, you won that day, you've mastered the day.
- 31:54SPEAKER_01: I think the kind of people is the key.
- 31:55SPEAKER_01: Kind of the kind of people is let's be real, be kind to yourself.
- 31:59SPEAKER_01: If you are kind to yourself, you're gonna be kind to others.
- 32:01SPEAKER_03: I was just gonna ask you, what do you alongside the music and and playing and you know, you got this team, what do you do for you?
- 32:07SPEAKER_03: Oh, all right.
- 32:08SPEAKER_03: Uh if you add Deb and Martini's that list, you're my honey, that's the top of the list.
- 32:12SPEAKER_03: Let me tell you.
- 32:13SPEAKER_03: No, but actually I loved you, Timmy.
- 32:15SPEAKER_01: I love you.
- 32:15SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, my name.
- 32:19SPEAKER_01: No, actually, this is funny.
- 32:20SPEAKER_01: I was asked this a lot.
- 32:21SPEAKER_01: Like this time last year, I was asked a lot, like, what do you do for yourself outside of this?
- 32:25SPEAKER_01: And it was always this big old question mark of like, I don't know, like, music is all I am.
- 32:30SPEAKER_01: And I started kind of figuring out my identity outside of music.
- 32:33SPEAKER_01: And honestly, candle pouring.
- 32:34SPEAKER_01: I pour candles like this business.
- 32:36SPEAKER_01: Love that.
- 32:37SPEAKER_01: Okay, guys, I make custom sense for all my friends.
- 32:40SPEAKER_01: Girl, like you are a little betty cracker.
- 32:41SPEAKER_01: You know where to go.
- 32:42SPEAKER_01: I watch Martha Stewart every night before I go to bed.
- 32:44SPEAKER_01: I don't mean to say this, but it happens.
- 32:46SPEAKER_01: I've I've got a boyfriend?
- 32:48SPEAKER_01: No.
- 32:48SPEAKER_01: Whoever marries you is gonna be a lucky dude.
- 32:50SPEAKER_01: He really will be though.
- 32:51SPEAKER_01: He's such a lucky dude.
- 32:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'm very confident.
- 32:53SPEAKER_01: Um if you get online, the three of us will run it for you.
- 32:56SPEAKER_01: Boom.
- 32:57SPEAKER_01: I'm in.
- 32:57SPEAKER_01: I'm in.
- 32:58SPEAKER_01: I'm so in.
- 32:59SPEAKER_01: But that's been my new life, and I laugh because my 21-year-old self would be rolling right now.
- 33:03SPEAKER_01: So this is your life.
- 33:04SPEAKER_01: You pour candles, you have a little dog, and you watch Martha Stewart, and I'm like with matching jammy set?
- 33:10SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 33:11SPEAKER_01: Your dog has matching pajamas, she's wearing.
- 33:13SPEAKER_01: Well, she doesn't wear them quite yet with me, but you know, they're there, they're there.
- 33:15SPEAKER_01: But no, she's a King Charles Cavalier.
- 33:17SPEAKER_01: Her name is Honey.
- 33:18SPEAKER_01: I have a King Charles Cavalier.
- 33:19SPEAKER_03: I've had three.
- 33:20SPEAKER_03: I Lola.
- 33:21SPEAKER_03: Tell everyone the importance of Lola.
- 33:24SPEAKER_03: She's the queen.
- 33:25SPEAKER_03: No, they're the most precious angels.
- 33:27unknown: She's not a dog.
- 33:28SPEAKER_03: She's totally not a dog.
- 33:29SPEAKER_03: No, it's a human.
- 33:30SPEAKER_03: It's a soulmate dog.
- 33:31SPEAKER_03: She is.
- 33:31SPEAKER_03: I've heard three.
- 33:32SPEAKER_03: They're amazing dogs.
- 33:33SPEAKER_03: They're incredible.
- 33:33SPEAKER_03: Is this your first one?
- 33:34SPEAKER_03: This is my first one.
- 33:35SPEAKER_03: It's like a potato chip.
- 33:36SPEAKER_03: You're never just gonna stop at one.
- 33:37SPEAKER_01: I will not.
- 33:37SPEAKER_01: I will.
- 33:38SPEAKER_01: What's your dog's name?
- 33:39SPEAKER_01: Her name's Honey.
- 33:39SPEAKER_01: What color?
- 33:40SPEAKER_01: Uh she's the what is it?
- 33:42SPEAKER_01: The she a blend?
- 33:43SPEAKER_01: That one.
- 33:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah, the one.
- 33:44SPEAKER_03: I think the Blenheims are the cuest.
- 33:46SPEAKER_03: And that's like the brown spots and the white.
- 33:48SPEAKER_03: Um, I've had a Blenheim.
- 33:49SPEAKER_03: I had a Ruby.
- 33:50SPEAKER_01: Um, rubies are precious too.
- 33:52SPEAKER_01: I can get a ruby with her.
- 33:53SPEAKER_03: Oh, she's so the Candle was her name after Candle Jackson's my friends and I were drinking Candle Jackson wine like it was our job.
- 33:58SPEAKER_03: As you should.
- 33:59SPEAKER_03: Right, exactly.
- 34:00SPEAKER_03: That was the summer that I literally was like, I feel like I need to rethink my priorities.
- 34:06SPEAKER_05: Yeah, I would get a dog.
- 34:07SPEAKER_05: I'm just so I want a dog.
- 34:08SPEAKER_05: I mean, my dad has two dogs, but like I'm like, it'd be so nice to have a little sum.
- 34:13SPEAKER_05: Dude, I love dogs.
- 34:14SPEAKER_05: I travel so much.
- 34:15SPEAKER_03: Dogs and kids are the jam in life.
- 34:17SPEAKER_05: If they could travel with me, then I'd be like happy.
- 34:20SPEAKER_05: Totally.
- 34:20SPEAKER_01: Well, that's why I got her because I'm training her to be the best, best road dog the world's ever seen.
- 34:24SPEAKER_01: See, that's good.
- 34:25SPEAKER_01: My dog has traveled with me.
- 34:26SPEAKER_01: She's been on more planes.
- 34:27SPEAKER_01: That's what I'm saying.
- 34:29SPEAKER_03: And she's a showstopper.
- 34:30SPEAKER_03: Like, people are like, Can I pet the dog?
- 34:32SPEAKER_03: I'm like, I can buy the dog.
- 34:33SPEAKER_01: I'm like, she'll lick your whole face off.
- 34:35SPEAKER_01: But if you're cool with that, get in the room.
- 34:36SPEAKER_03: They're the most loving animals in the entire I I want a picture of you watching Martha Stewart.
- 34:42SPEAKER_03: What the dog's name is?
- 34:43SPEAKER_03: Honey.
- 34:43SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 34:44SPEAKER_03: Honey.
- 34:44SPEAKER_03: Dude, when Martha's stirring the honey.
- 34:46SPEAKER_01: She's a dude.
- 34:47SPEAKER_03: I say dude all the time too.
- 34:48SPEAKER_01: Actually, uh, I'll show you a video after this wrap.
- 34:51SPEAKER_01: I would love to.
- 34:51SPEAKER_01: Last night she was barking at Martha, you know, mixing that thing.
- 34:54SPEAKER_01: And I said, okay, girl, you know.
- 34:55SPEAKER_01: Martha's got a badass side to her.
- 34:57SPEAKER_01: She did some prison time.
- 34:59SPEAKER_01: She's in.
- 34:59SPEAKER_01: I actually really enjoyed her documentary, you know.
- 35:01SPEAKER_01: Totally.
- 35:02SPEAKER_01: I watched it too this summer when I kids.
- 35:03SPEAKER_01: I didn't.
- 35:04SPEAKER_01: I really did.
- 35:04SPEAKER_01: Martha, she surprised me.
- 35:06SPEAKER_01: Totally.
- 35:07SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 35:07SPEAKER_01: I think there's just something about a strong woman who is just like so locked, you know, in obviously there's there's some things.
- 35:13SPEAKER_01: There are some things.
- 35:14SPEAKER_01: There's some things.
- 35:15SPEAKER_01: We love you, Martha.
- 35:16SPEAKER_01: We totally do.
- 35:17SPEAKER_01: But she she's very inspiring.
- 35:18SPEAKER_01: Do you love to cook?
- 35:19SPEAKER_01: I love it.
- 35:20SPEAKER_01: Me too.
- 35:20SPEAKER_01: I really do.
- 35:21SPEAKER_01: I made a chicken pot pie for some friends last week.
- 35:23SPEAKER_01: And I rolled in Southern Comfort Food and Again, guys.
- 35:27SPEAKER_01: This is so new of me.
- 35:28SPEAKER_01: Like I am, I'm getting ready.
- 35:30SPEAKER_03: Everybody is now blowing.
- 35:31SPEAKER_03: When we air this show, they're gonna be like, Can you give her a number?
- 35:33SPEAKER_03: I would never give her a number.
- 35:34SPEAKER_03: But like it's so funny.
- 35:35SPEAKER_03: You're gonna have this like long dating list.
- 35:37SPEAKER_03: Boom, there you go.
- 35:38SPEAKER_03: Timmy's gonna be on tour.
- 35:39SPEAKER_03: You you've got a phone though.
- 35:40SPEAKER_03: You're still check, right?
- 35:42SPEAKER_03: We're gonna be 25.
- 35:43SPEAKER_03: But I think that's amazing.
- 35:45SPEAKER_01: Do you want to get married?
- 35:46SPEAKER_01: I definitely do.
- 35:47SPEAKER_01: Sure.
- 35:48SPEAKER_01: My right now, my career is my husband.
- 35:49SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 35:50SPEAKER_01: It really is because it takes that much energy.
- 35:52SPEAKER_01: But I do know that-fill your own cup first.
- 35:54SPEAKER_03: Oh, first.
- 35:54SPEAKER_03: It's like the oxygen dropping, yours first.
- 35:57SPEAKER_01: But I'm very convinced that there is a man out there that is man enough to handle it.
- 36:01SPEAKER_01: Because you have to be extremely confident in yourself.
- 36:03SPEAKER_03: I've definitely and women love real men.
- 36:07SPEAKER_03: I hate weak men.
- 36:09SPEAKER_03: I can't, like when men act like women, I'm like, why are you doing this?
- 36:12SPEAKER_03: Like, stop it.
- 36:13SPEAKER_03: Well, with the stronger bar, the bar raises.
- 36:15SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 36:16SPEAKER_01: And I think that's the hardest part for men sometimes that I've dated.
- 36:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 36:19SPEAKER_01: It's been as a strong independent woman, like I don't need you for you know typical things.
- 36:23SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 36:24SPEAKER_01: I need you to be emotionally intelligent and pick up where I you know need a little else.
- 36:28SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I'm gonna be honest, I might be a little old school, but like you gotta freaking fix some shit.
- 36:32SPEAKER_03: Like you gotta like one man who tells me he won't get on the roof or he doesn't do cut his own lawn or something, I'm like, so you're in the useless pile.
- 36:40SPEAKER_01: I get useless poof.
- 36:43SPEAKER_01: Wait, but I do kind of get that though.
- 36:44SPEAKER_01: Like I'm a blue-collar kid through and through.
- 36:46SPEAKER_01: My dad, growing up, y'all, I did not know that people hired plumbers and electricians because my dad did it all.
- 36:51SPEAKER_01: Did it all it was like something broke?
- 36:53SPEAKER_03: My dad didn't do it all.
- 36:55SPEAKER_03: My first husband didn't do it all either.
- 36:56SPEAKER_03: But he was a doctor.
- 36:57SPEAKER_03: He's like, I have the hands of a surgeon.
- 36:58SPEAKER_03: I'm like, somebody wrote it.
- 36:59SPEAKER_05: That's why it was a first.
- 37:00SPEAKER_05: Right, exactly.
- 37:01SPEAKER_03: It's like somebody brought over his hands with the lawnmower.
- 37:04SPEAKER_01: It's okay.
- 37:05SPEAKER_01: But no, but that was the biggest thing.
- 37:06SPEAKER_01: And then when I started, I I lived on my own, I was like, something broke, and I'm like, what do I do?
- 37:10SPEAKER_01: And mom and dad are like, call a plumber.
- 37:11SPEAKER_01: I'm like, how do you do that?
- 37:12SPEAKER_01: I don't, that was never in my work.
- 37:14SPEAKER_03: Right, absolutely.
- 37:15SPEAKER_03: In my house, if something breaks, like he does it.
- 37:18SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna be honest, I don't think there's anything sexier than a man and a pair of Levi's doing some work with that.
- 37:22SPEAKER_01: Baby, let me tell you, yes.
- 37:23SPEAKER_01: I just don't I second that.
- 37:24SPEAKER_01: I second that 1,000%.
- 37:26SPEAKER_01: You wanted how to please women, grab a screwdriver and a pair of Levi's.
- 37:29SPEAKER_00: And you you want to do that.
- 37:30SPEAKER_03: We have the Levi's.
- 37:32SPEAKER_03: That is the dating advice when I went.
- 37:34SPEAKER_03: Absolutely.
- 37:35SPEAKER_03: I think, and men that can like he's useful.
- 37:38SPEAKER_03: And you know what I mean?
- 37:39SPEAKER_03: Like, that's I think that's what women really like connect with.
- 37:43SPEAKER_01: There are some traditional values, you know.
- 37:45SPEAKER_01: I would I would love a man who can fix my shower, I will make you a pie any day.
- 37:48SPEAKER_01: Hey man, a hot pie chicken on that side.
- 37:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's amazing to have the butt pie go good.
- 37:54SPEAKER_01: It was pretty fabulous.
- 37:54SPEAKER_03: Was it incredible?
- 37:55SPEAKER_03: I I'm gonna be honest with you, it was pretty fabulous.
- 37:57SPEAKER_03: So I'm making a beef wellington for Christmas.
- 38:00SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 38:00SPEAKER_03: I made one before a few years ago, and um it was delicious, and it's just decadent.
- 38:06SPEAKER_03: You know, it's so funny.
- 38:07SPEAKER_03: And so Aaliyah's mom, Katie, is my one of my rider dies.
- 38:11SPEAKER_03: So we had a sleep, we do this like monthly or every three weeks, like sleepovers.
- 38:15SPEAKER_03: Like we're all just going, we're watching, we're binge watching, we're laughing.
- 38:18SPEAKER_03: And the last sleepover with your mom when you were in Nashville, we had no streaming, no internet.
- 38:24SPEAKER_03: We sat and talked and laughed.
- 38:25SPEAKER_03: It was truly one of the most magic.
- 38:27SPEAKER_03: It was truly one of the most magical nights of my life.
- 38:29SPEAKER_03: Like, I just hear my life.
- 38:31SPEAKER_03: I know.
- 38:32SPEAKER_03: Yeah, five?
- 38:33SPEAKER_03: No.
- 38:33SPEAKER_03: Oh stop it.
- 38:35SPEAKER_03: Can we mic her up to be a co-host?
- 38:37SPEAKER_03: No.
- 38:38SPEAKER_01: Honestly, anytime you need me, guys, I'm having a blast right now.
- 38:41SPEAKER_05: I know.
- 38:42SPEAKER_03: Thanks.
- 38:42SPEAKER_03: It's a good, it's a good vibe here.
- 38:44SPEAKER_05: So your music.
- 38:45SPEAKER_05: So let's.
- 38:45SPEAKER_05: Yes.
- 38:46SPEAKER_03: Oh my god.
- 38:47SPEAKER_05: What do you have an album?
- 38:50SPEAKER_05: TV is more than two buttons.
- 38:52SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 38:52SPEAKER_01: What did you say?
- 38:53SPEAKER_05: So do you have like album songs, singles?
- 38:55SPEAKER_05: Like what's like cooking in the pot.
- 38:57SPEAKER_01: I've got I put an EP out this year, which is crazy.
- 39:00SPEAKER_01: Oh, baby, what's cooking in the pot?
- 39:02SPEAKER_01: Um so yeah, I put out an EP in the back.
- 39:04SPEAKER_01: You have big fans here, right?
- 39:05SPEAKER_01: I huge.
- 39:06SPEAKER_01: You got huge fans here.
- 39:07SPEAKER_01: I'm just as much for y'all.
- 39:08SPEAKER_01: Um and then I just put out a song called Never Beg a Man.
- 39:10SPEAKER_01: So there you go.
- 39:11SPEAKER_01: Kind of goes through.
- 39:12SPEAKER_01: Never beg a man.
- 39:13SPEAKER_01: Um unless your credit card was declined, then lower yourself and start begging.
- 39:17SPEAKER_01: And then this year I'm gonna do a seven-song EP.
- 39:20SPEAKER_01: Um, I think September, give or take.
- 39:23SPEAKER_01: That's the book.
- 39:24SPEAKER_01: Excellent.
- 39:24SPEAKER_01: And I'm gonna put out a song every six weeks until then.
- 39:26SPEAKER_01: So I'm so excited.
- 39:28SPEAKER_03: I feel like this is right.
- 39:29SPEAKER_03: So what artist did that?
- 39:31SPEAKER_03: We you maybe you and I were interviewing an artist that was putting out something every six weeks.
- 39:37SPEAKER_04: And I'm like, dude, that's a good one.
- 39:39SPEAKER_04: We've interviewed a lot.
- 39:40SPEAKER_03: So I'm not special, remember?
- 39:44SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 39:44SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 39:45SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it does.
- 39:45SPEAKER_03: It helps.
- 39:46SPEAKER_03: It gives you the momentum.
- 39:47SPEAKER_03: We're sights for you.
- 39:48SPEAKER_03: Thank you.
- 39:48SPEAKER_03: I'm so excited about this video.
- 39:49SPEAKER_03: What's the dream?
- 39:50SPEAKER_03: Where do you where do you want to be?
- 39:51SPEAKER_03: What like give me like if I had a magic wand, you would get what?
- 39:55SPEAKER_01: Um, I think for me it's connection with my audience is the biggest thing.
- 39:59SPEAKER_01: Okay, where do you want to play?
- 40:00SPEAKER_01: Tell me like where you'd be like this is my jam.
- 40:03SPEAKER_01: An ideal world for me, what I've learned.
- 40:05SPEAKER_01: I think my younger self would have said, I want to do the biggest of the big.
- 40:08SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 40:08SPEAKER_01: And like, of course, I'll do opportunities.
- 40:10SPEAKER_01: I love that.
- 40:10SPEAKER_01: Any capacity to connect with humans.
- 40:12SPEAKER_01: But I think where my niche is, is uh selling three nights out at the Ryman Auditorium.
- 40:16SPEAKER_01: You know, where I can like talk to my fans and we can chat about the history, and I can hit him with a Patsy Crying cover Sing it, you know, on Broadway at 16.
- 40:24SPEAKER_01: You know, Can you hit us, little Patsy?
- 40:26SPEAKER_01: Are you ready?
- 40:34SPEAKER_00: Maybe he's crying for me.
- 40:37unknown: There you go.
- 40:38SPEAKER_00: Whoa! That was killer! That was killer.
- 40:42SPEAKER_03: 16 baby.
- 40:43SPEAKER_03: That was Crazy's one of my favorite songs in the world.
- 40:46SPEAKER_03: Crazy.
- 40:47SPEAKER_03: I love crazy.
- 40:48SPEAKER_03: It's so good.
- 40:49SPEAKER_03: So you're doing that, and the all the stadium you want to sell out is what?
- 40:53SPEAKER_03: Or you want to play the rhymen, grand old up.
- 40:55SPEAKER_01: Of course, I think reach for the freaking stars and you're in on the moon if you fail.
- 40:59SPEAKER_03: If you reach for the stars and you only get crumbs of them, you made it.
- 41:03SPEAKER_03: That would mean like to me, dream big, live hard.
- 41:05SPEAKER_03: Oh my god.
- 41:08SPEAKER_05: Yeah, baby, you know, and like go farther.
- 41:10SPEAKER_02: It's true.
- 41:11SPEAKER_02: And I've talked to a lot of people.
- 41:12SPEAKER_05: Not saying the rhymen's crumbs.
- 41:13SPEAKER_05: I mean it like that.
- 41:15SPEAKER_05: I would be honored to play.
- 41:16SPEAKER_05: Let me get it clear.
- 41:17SPEAKER_05: I would be honored to put the rhymes.
- 41:19SPEAKER_01: Actually, please, we want I want them all.
- 41:21SPEAKER_01: We would love a little thing.
- 41:22SPEAKER_05: In terms of capacity, right, exactly.
- 41:24SPEAKER_01: But I do think like a lot of people, you know, they don't they don't recognize that the everything that we get to do every single day is such a freaking dream.
- 41:31SPEAKER_01: Like there's a reason that little girls and boys sing into hairbrushes when they're two years old.
- 41:35SPEAKER_01: Love that.
- 41:36SPEAKER_01: It's like anything that you were the damn cutest little kid.
- 41:38SPEAKER_01: Y'all, I was a dress-up girly, which by the way, tomorrow I uh I'm filming my next music video for my next single called Nothing at All.
- 41:45SPEAKER_01: And um I think Where are you filming?
- 41:47SPEAKER_01: Uh it's a good question.
- 41:48SPEAKER_01: I gotta talk to my creative director.
- 41:49SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 41:50SPEAKER_01: I still gotta look up the, you know.
- 41:51SPEAKER_01: But I will say today I picked up a dress and it was like the most magical, almost princess dress moment.
- 41:58SPEAKER_01: Spiritual, right?
- 41:59SPEAKER_01: Totally, and like bury me in this dress, right?
- 42:01SPEAKER_01: Yes, and you know, Carrie, you know, back in the day, she would do like the big dress, she still does the big dresses the thing.
- 42:06SPEAKER_01: So I today I had a moment in my car I did, I I had some tears where I picked up the dress and I said my seven-year-old self would be screaming right now that this is what I do for a living.
- 42:15SPEAKER_01: So I think we have to have those moments where you absolutely.
- 42:18SPEAKER_03: I teach my clients that I'm like, there's a little person that needs to know you're standing up for them right now.
- 42:22SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 42:22SPEAKER_03: Like if anything happened in y'all's childhood, any to anything, please, please know that there's a bigger version protecting that little person right now.
- 42:31SPEAKER_01: And how you know that you are your best version is if you were the person that would have kept that younger self safe.
- 42:35SPEAKER_03: Totally, totally.
- 42:36SPEAKER_01: And if you're that, then you have succeeded.
- 42:38SPEAKER_01: I don't care if you play arenas or do nothing, you're you're successful.
- 42:41SPEAKER_03: So I have to tell you, you have been one of the funnest guests.
- 42:45SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 42:45SPEAKER_03: And I can tell you everybody's fun, right?
- 42:47SPEAKER_03: So you're saying I'm actually pretty special.
- 42:49SPEAKER_03: Wait, I really you know what?
- 42:51SPEAKER_03: Give me his number.
- 42:51SPEAKER_03: What's his name?
- 42:52SPEAKER_03: Mr.
- 42:52SPEAKER_03: Rogers.
- 42:53SPEAKER_03: Mr.
- 42:53SPEAKER_03: Stevens, Mr.
- 42:54SPEAKER_03: Rogers.
- 42:55SPEAKER_03: That's his neighborhood, not Dr.
- 42:56SPEAKER_03: Mr.
- 42:56SPEAKER_03: Rogers, get your carnigan off and give this one an apology.
- 42:59SPEAKER_03: Nah, but he was precious.
- 43:00SPEAKER_01: It was seriously in the best context of the city.
- 43:02SPEAKER_01: Right, absolutely.
- 43:03SPEAKER_01: That was a that was an act of love.
- 43:04SPEAKER_01: It was an act of love.
- 43:05SPEAKER_01: Totally.
- 43:06SPEAKER_01: You recognize people that give you more of a hard time, you know, in a graceful way.
- 43:09SPEAKER_01: They love you.
- 43:09SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 43:10SPEAKER_01: It's the people who are yes men that are like, okay, we're just getting you off the road.
- 43:13SPEAKER_03: You know, everybody needs that friend that'll give that rib shot to you.
- 43:15SPEAKER_03: You're like, oof.
- 43:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and you're doing it.
- 43:18SPEAKER_01: And then it sticks with you for the rest of your life.
