  what
• 2:18
  his

  mission
• 2:19
  is
• 2:19
  here

  the

  generous
• 2:22

• 2:22
  of

• 2:23
  and
• 2:23
  there's

  an

  urgent
• 2:24
  task
• 2:25
  of
• 2:25
  passing
• 2:25
  it

  on.
• 2:27
  And
• 2:27
  he's

  calling
• 2:28
  on
• 2:28
  the

  believers
• 2:29
  in
• 2:29
  Rome,

• 2:30
  as
• 2:30
  he

  says,

  and

  I
• 2:31

• 2:31
  that

  he
• 2:32
  phrases
• 2:32
  that

  Those

  The

• 4:02
  Paul
• 4:02
  roots
• 4:03
  Jesus
• 4:03
  in
• 4:03

• 4:04
  You
• 4:04
  remember
• 4:05
  the
• 4:05
  part
• 4:05
  he's
• 4:05
  descended
• 4:06
  from
• 4:06
  David
• 4:06
  and
• 4:07
  in
• 4:07
  resurrection
• 4:08
  power,
• 4:08
  that
• 4:09
  is
• 4:09
  he's
• 4:09
  declared
• 4:10
  the

  of
• 4:10
  God
• 4:11
  by
• 4:11

• 4:13
  So
• 4:13
  that

  means
• 4:13
  it's
• 4:14
  both

  and
• 4:15
  inclusive.
• 4:15
  That

  is,

  God's

• 4:16
  shows
• 4:17

  real
• 4:18
  people,
• 4:18
  real
• 4:20
  human
• 4:20
  bodies,
• 4:22
  real
• 4:23
  cities,
• 4:24
  real
• 4:24
  communities.
• 4:26
  Including
• 4:26
  in
• 4:27
  this
• 4:27
  case,
• 4:27
  he's
• 4:27
  talking
• 4:27
  about
• 4:28
  Rome,
• 4:28
  which
• 4:28
  is
• 4:28
  a
• 4:28
  very
• 4:29
  diverse
• 4:30
  big
• 4:30
  city
• 4:31
  full
• 4:31
  of
• 4:31
  different
• 4:32
  cultures
• 4:32
  and
• 4:33
  classes
• 4:33
  of
• 4:33
  people.
• 4:35
  So
• 4:35
  a
• 4:35
  progressive
• 4:36
  look
• 4:36
  at
• 4:36
  this
• 4:36
  Scripture
• 4:37
  resists
• 4:38
  gatekeeping,
• 4:39
  as
• 4:39
  in
• 4:40
  one
• 4:40
  group
• 4:40
  as
• 4:40
  over
• 4:41
  another.
• 4:41
  It
• 4:42
  says
• 4:42
  here
• 4:42
  God's
• 4:43
  friends.
• 4:44
  That's

  The

  test
• 4:50
  of

  gospel
• 4:51
  is
• 4:51
  whether
• 4:51
  it
• 4:51
  brings
• 4:52
  healing
• 4:52
  to
• 4:52
  those

  who've

  been

  Patients

• 5:04

• 5:05

• 5:06
  or
• 5:06
  immigration.
• 5:07
  If
• 5:08
  it
• 5:08
  isn't
• 5:08
  good
• 5:08
  news
• 5:08
  for
• 5:09
  them,
• 5:09
  it
• 5:09
  isn't
• 5:11

• 5:11
  Gospel
• 5:13
  point
• 5:13
  to
• 5:13
  ponder

  Number
• 5:14
  three
• 5:16
  Calling
• 5:16
  is
• 5:17
  shared
• 5:17
  every

  day
• 5:17
  and
• 5:18
  small

  Calling

• 5:21
  every
• 5:22
  day
• 5:22
  and
• 5:23
  small
• 5:23
  step
• 5:23
  faithful.
• 5:25
  That
• 5:25
  means
• 5:26
  Paul's
• 5:26
  apostolic
• 5:27
  assignment
• 5:28
  isn't
• 5:28
  a
• 5:28
  celebrity
• 5:29
  thing.
• 5:30
  It's
• 5:31
  a
• 5:31
  kind
• 5:31
  of
• 5:31
  a
• 5:31
  relay
• 5:32
  process,
• 5:32
  like
• 5:33
  passing
• 5:33
  it
• 5:33
  on
• 5:34
  to
• 5:34
  others
• 5:35
  who
• 5:35
  need
• 5:35
  it.
• 5:36
  So
• 5:36
  this
• 5:36
  spirit
• 5:37
  turns
• 5:37
  kind
• 5:37
  of
• 5:38
  a
• 5:38
  big
• 5:38
  theological
• 5:39
  thing
• 5:39
  into

  life
• 5:43
  can

• 5:44
  A
• 5:44
  ride
• 5:44
  to
• 5:44
  treatment,
• 5:45
  a
• 5:46
  meal
• 5:46
  with
• 5:46
  a
• 5:46
  friend
• 5:47
  in
• 5:47

• 5:48
  your

• 5:49
  about

• 5:52
  or
• 5:52
  advocating
• 5:53
  for
• 5:53

• 5:55
  or
• 5:55

• 5:55
  for
• 5:55

  Loyalty
• 5:58

• 6:01
  and
• 6:01
  brings
• 6:02
  with
• 6:02
  it
• 6:03
  and
• 6:03
  showing
• 6:03
  up
• 6:04
  even
• 6:04
  when
• 6:04
  things
• 6:04
  are
• 6:05
  tough.
• 6:06
  I
• 6:06
  have
• 6:06
  a
• 6:06
  weekly
• 6:07
  podcast
• 6:07
  for
• 6:07
  people
• 6:08
  impacted
• 6:08
  by
• 6:08
  cancer,
• 6:09
  and
• 6:09
  it's
• 6:09
  really
• 6:09
  built
• 6:10
  on
• 6:10
  two
• 6:10
  elements,
• 6:10
  hope
• 6:11
  and
• 6:11
  humor.
• 6:11
  And
• 6:12
  I've
• 6:12
  learned
• 6:12
  that
• 6:12
  calling
• 6:13
  often
• 6:13
  looks
• 6:13
  like
• 6:14
  small
• 6:14
  kindnesses
• 6:15
  repeated
• 6:15
  regularly.
• 6:17
  Love
• 6:17
  is
• 6:17
  steady,
• 6:18
  not
• 6:19
  flashy.
• 6:21
  So
• 6:21
  what
• 6:22
  do
• 6:22
  we
• 6:22
  do
• 6:22
  about
• 6:22
  this?
• 6:22
  Let's
• 6:23
  talk
• 6:23
  about
• 6:23
  some
• 6:23
  action
• 6:23
  steps
• 6:24
  we
• 6:24
  can
• 6:24
  take.
• 6:25
  One
• 6:25
  thing
• 6:25
  we
• 6:25
  can
• 6:26
  do
• 6:26
  is
• 6:26
  make
• 6:26
  a
• 6:26
  gift
• 6:27
  and
• 6:27
  task
• 6:27
  pairing
• 6:28
  and
• 6:28
  act
• 6:28
  on
• 6:29
  it.
• 6:29
  What
• 6:29
  is
• 6:29
  that?
• 6:29
  A
• 6:30
  gift
• 6:30
  is
• 6:30
  name
• 6:31
  one
• 6:31
  grace
• 6:31
  that
• 6:31
  you've
• 6:31
  received
• 6:32
  Lately,
• 6:32
  some
• 6:32
  good
• 6:33
  thing
• 6:33
  in
• 6:33
  your
• 6:33
  life.
• 6:34
  Maybe
• 6:34
  you've
• 6:34
  got
• 6:34
  a
• 6:35
  good
• 6:35
  support
• 6:35
  from
• 6:35
  a
• 6:36
  friend
• 6:36
  or
• 6:36
  a
• 6:36
  birthday
• 6:37
  greeting
• 6:37
  or
• 6:37
  something
• 6:37
  like
• 6:38
  that.
• 6:38
  Or
• 6:38
  maybe
• 6:39
  it's
• 6:39
  a
• 6:39
  quiet
• 6:39
  walk
• 6:39
  in
• 6:40
  a
• 6:40
  park,
• 6:40
  or
• 6:41
  maybe
• 6:41
  you
• 6:41
  had
• 6:41
  a
• 6:41
  good
• 6:42
  medical
• 6:42
  report,
• 6:43
  or
• 6:44
  maybe
• 6:44
  your
• 6:44
  granddaughter's
• 6:45
  made
• 6:45
  you
• 6:45
  laugh.
• 6:45
  That
• 6:45
  happened
• 6:46
  to
• 6:46
  me.
• 6:47
  So
• 6:47
  pair
• 6:47
  your
• 6:48
  gift
• 6:48
  with
• 6:48
  a
• 6:48
  task
• 6:49
  then.
• 6:49
  And
• 6:49
  the
• 6:50
  task
• 6:50
  is
• 6:50
  choose
• 6:51
  a
• 6:51
  person
• 6:51
  in
• 6:51
  your
• 6:52
  life,
• 6:52
  or
• 6:52
  perhaps
• 6:52
  a
• 6:52
  group
• 6:53
  to
• 6:53
  pass
• 6:54
  it
• 6:54
  on.
• 6:54
  Pass
• 6:55
  the
• 6:55
  good
• 6:55
  thing
• 6:55
  on
• 6:55
  to
• 6:56
  them
• 6:57
  concretely
• 6:58
  and
• 6:58
  maybe
• 6:58
  quietly.
• 6:59
  That
• 6:59
  means
• 6:59
  a
• 6:59
  note,
• 7:00
  a
• 7:00
  meal,
• 7:01
  sharing,
• 7:01
  a
• 7:01
  dumb
• 7:01
  joke,
• 7:02
  a
• 7:03
  donation
• 7:03
  or
• 7:03
  a
• 7:04
  message
• 7:05
  to
• 7:06
  some
• 7:06
  people
• 7:07
  who
• 7:07
  just
• 7:07
  need
• 7:07
  to
• 7:08
  have
• 7:08
  a
• 7:08
  good
• 7:08
  thing
• 7:08
  in
• 7:08
  their
• 7:08
  life.
• 7:10
  Keep
• 7:10
  it
• 7:10
  small,
• 7:11
  keep
• 7:11
  it
• 7:11
  doable,
• 7:12
  and
• 7:12
  do
• 7:13
  it
• 7:13
  within
• 7:14
  48
• 7:14
  hours.
• 7:16
  Prayer
• 7:19
  another
• 7:19
  part
• 7:20
  of
• 7:20
  this
• 7:20
  is
• 7:20
  to
• 7:20
  take
• 7:20
  a
• 7:20
  few
• 7:21
  minutes,
• 7:21
  five
• 7:21
  minutes
• 7:21
  or
• 7:22
  so
• 7:22
  to
• 7:22
  a
• 7:23
  quiet
• 7:23
  spot,
• 7:24
  maybe
• 7:24
  in
• 7:24
  your
• 7:24
  home,
• 7:26
  maybe
• 7:26
  at
• 7:26
  the
• 7:26
  kitchen
• 7:27
  table,
• 7:28
  maybe
• 7:28
  it's
• 7:28
  in
• 7:28
  a
• 7:28
  park
• 7:29
  bench,
• 7:30
  maybe
• 7:30
  it's
• 7:30
  in
• 7:31
  your
• 7:31
  car
• 7:33
  and
• 7:33
  say,
• 7:33
  here
• 7:33
  I
• 7:33
  am
• 7:35
  and
• 7:35
  breathe.
• 7:35
  Let
• 7:36
  obedient
• 7:37
  trust
• 7:37
  be
• 7:37
  simple.
• 7:38
  Guide
• 7:39
  me
• 7:39
  to
• 7:39
  love
• 7:39
  someone
• 7:39
  well
• 7:40
  today.
• 7:42
  Here's
• 7:42
  a
• 7:42
  word
• 7:42
  for
• 7:43
  the
• 7:43
  weary.
• 7:43
  If
• 7:44
  your
• 7:44
  faith
• 7:44
  feels
• 7:45
  small,
• 7:45
  you're
• 7:46
  not
• 7:46
  failing,
• 7:47
  you're
• 7:48
  rooting.
• 7:49
  Grace
• 7:49
  turns
• 7:49
  small
• 7:50
  steps
• 7:50
  into
• 7:50
  real
• 7:50
  change.
• 7:52
  We're
• 7:52
  gonna
• 7:52
  come
• 7:53
  back
• 7:53
  and
• 7:53
  have
• 7:53
  a
• 7:53
  prayer
• 7:53
  here
• 7:54
  in
• 7:54
  just
• 7:54
  a
• 7:54
  minute,
• 7:55
  but
• 7:55
  I
• 7:55
  want
• 7:56
  you
• 7:56
  to
• 7:56
  know
• 7:56
  before
• 7:56
  we

  that,

  we

• 8:25
  or
• 8:25
  we
• 8:25
  make
• 8:25
  them
• 8:26
  laugh
• 8:27
  like

• 8:38
  For

  our

• 8:39
  justice
• 8:39
  that
• 8:40
  is
