- 2:27Speaker 1: Visionary and tonight we're just gonna be having a conversation.
- 2:31Speaker 1: I have one of the amazing hosts here on the
- 2:36Speaker 1: Crew Podcast. We have Seannett Johnson that's gonna be joining us,
- 2:39Speaker 1: and y'all, we're just gonna be having a conversation tonight.
- 2:42Speaker 1: We're gonna just be talking about some things that you know,
- 2:46Speaker 1: have crossed my mind and I just want to get
- 2:49Speaker 1: these things out and let's talk about them. I of
- 2:53Speaker 1: course am a part of a prayer line and that's
- 2:57Speaker 1: just been a lot going on, and I just want
- 3:01Speaker 1: to talk about those things because there may be somebody
- 3:04Speaker 1: out there that may be experiencing some of these things
- 3:07Speaker 1: as well. Y'all know that I just love to educate,
- 3:11Speaker 1: empowering and encourage anybody wherever they may be. Sometime we
- 3:15Speaker 1: go through things and we feel like we don't have
- 3:19Speaker 1: someone that we can talk to, someone that we could
- 3:23Speaker 1: that may be able to relate to the things that
- 3:25Speaker 1: we're going through. And then sometimes we get put in
- 3:28Speaker 1: situations where we're that person on the other end of
- 3:31Speaker 1: that phone call and we may be having to listen
- 3:36Speaker 1: to something that we may have not gone through or
- 3:39Speaker 1: had to deal with, and sometimes we don't know how
- 3:41Speaker 1: to deal with those things. And that's a lot of
- 3:44Speaker 1: what I've been dealing with here lately. But today we're
- 3:48Speaker 1: just gonna talk. We're just gonna have a conversation. So
- 3:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna bring set up. For those that do not
- 3:52Speaker 1: know who I am, let me do a brief introduction
- 3:54Speaker 1: of myself. I am effectually known as the Queen of Collaborations.
- 4:00Speaker 1: That name was spoken over my life and I just
- 4:02Speaker 1: had to live up to it, just had to stand
- 4:04Speaker 1: up and own it. I love bringing people together. I
- 4:09Speaker 1: love our thrive off of working in that village mentality.
- 4:15Speaker 1: I believe that it takes a village to raise a family,
- 4:18Speaker 1: a child, a family, So I truly operate on that mentality.
- 4:25Speaker 1: I believe that everyone, if given the opportunity through learning, loving,
- 4:31Speaker 1: and the opportunity to lead, they can walk into their
- 4:34Speaker 1: true potential and all those things that God has gifted them.
- 4:37Speaker 1: So I'm gonna move walk the way, and I'm gonna
- 4:39Speaker 1: bring my guests up and we're gonna we're just gonna
- 4:42Speaker 1: jump in that conversation. However we're led that's where we're
- 4:46Speaker 1: going tonight. So I'm gonna bring up my guests and
- 4:49Speaker 1: allow her to introduce herself. Welcome, Welcome.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Ye don't know I'm doing I'm doing good. We got
- 5:00Speaker 2: a little delayed, but I can hear you. I'm doing well.
- 5:05Speaker 1: How about yourself, I'm doing great. Everybody always know. If
- 5:12Speaker 1: you're not familiar with spiritual warfare, I tell you. Since
- 5:17Speaker 1: I have been working in podcasts and just diving into
- 5:23Speaker 1: the Internet, that has been one of my big issues.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Anytime I'm involved with the Internet, there's always some pushback.
- 5:35Speaker 1: There's always something that tries to hinder me. And I've
- 5:40Speaker 1: come to realize that if I don't prepare when it's
- 5:45Speaker 1: time for me to go on the internet and make
- 5:46Speaker 1: sure that I have my ducks in a row, then
- 5:49Speaker 1: usually I have issues. And if I allow those issues
- 5:54Speaker 1: to consume me, they normally take over. And if I
- 5:58Speaker 1: give up, they usually win. But I refuse to give up.
- 6:02Speaker 1: So we have these difficulties. We don't quit. We keep pushing.
- 6:09Speaker 1: So it may be delayed, we may get kicked off,
- 6:12Speaker 1: we may get booted out. They may cut our our
- 6:15Speaker 1: stream out sometimes, but that's what we deal with. So
- 6:19Speaker 1: and and and I want to encourage those hosts when
- 6:23Speaker 1: when these things like this happened to you, know that
- 6:27Speaker 1: you're doing something right, Know that you're on the right path,
- 6:30Speaker 1: because the enemy does not attack those that are not
- 6:36Speaker 1: doing something against his will. See, when you're operating in
- 6:40Speaker 1: the wheel of God and you're doing what you're supposed to,
- 6:42Speaker 1: then you're going against what he wants. So you know
- 6:44Speaker 1: he gonna act up because you're not not going along
- 6:47Speaker 1: with what he wants. So I've come to realize that
- 6:51Speaker 1: the Internet is the enemy's folk, that is his friend.
- 6:56Speaker 1: So he always get me that way. I don't stop.
- 7:01Speaker 1: I never stopped. I listened to Minister album of the
- 7:05Speaker 1: other night on her podcast, and she was talking about commitment,
- 7:11Speaker 1: com commitment. What does that word? What does that word
- 7:18Speaker 1: mean to you?
- 7:22Speaker 2: Commitment? You know? With me, when I commit to something,
- 7:27Speaker 2: I try to see it through, you know, I try
- 7:30Speaker 2: to persevere, I try to push through it and just
- 7:40Speaker 2: you know, just get through it, Just just get through it.
- 7:45Speaker 2: I try to reach my mark. I try to reach
- 7:47Speaker 2: my goal and be dedicated.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Wow, And that's one thing about me commitment. I feel
- 8:06Speaker 1: like I have to show up when no one else
- 8:09Speaker 1: shows up, you know, I feel like I commit to something.
- 8:14Speaker 1: I don't care who else is showing up that I
- 8:17Speaker 1: have to show up no matter what what what happens,
- 8:21Speaker 1: and if I cannot show up. I believe in communicating.
- 8:25Speaker 1: I believe in contacting, you know, staying connected with those
- 8:32Speaker 1: that I have commitments to. Like, for example, we just
- 8:37Speaker 1: released amazing book project. You know, I have to say
- 8:44Speaker 1: connected to every single person that is in this book
- 8:48Speaker 1: project so that they know that this book has been
- 8:51Speaker 1: it has been released, that it's rated, that I needed,
- 8:54Speaker 1: their their their documents, all those things. You know, I
- 9:00Speaker 1: had to stay connected to them. And then I had
- 9:03Speaker 1: a commitment to make sure that this book was out
- 9:05Speaker 1: on September the first. I couldn't because I had other
- 9:11Speaker 1: stuff going on. You know, you can't say because something
- 9:19Speaker 1: come up. I could have made all kind of excuses,
- 9:22Speaker 1: because things have happened along this journey of making this
- 9:27Speaker 1: book come to fruition, and I could have allowed any
- 9:31Speaker 1: excuses or anything that have come up to take me
- 9:35Speaker 1: from dropping this. I could have allowed any of those excuses.
- 9:40Speaker 1: I could have made excuses about you know, being in
- 9:44Speaker 1: California and not being home. I could have made excuses
- 9:47Speaker 1: of you know, moving and transitioning. I could have came
- 9:51Speaker 1: up with all kind of excuses, but I'm reminded of
- 9:56Speaker 1: what my mentor all the time doctor Ola day m
- 10:03Speaker 1: e Gosye. He always said excuses are for the in company.
- 10:07Speaker 1: He said, are you in competent? No, I got up
- 10:10Speaker 1: this morning, I put my pants on, I took my childer,
- 10:14Speaker 1: I broke my teeth. So i had enough sense to
- 10:16Speaker 1: do all that. So I'm provenent enough to do that.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Then I'm confident enough to do that I'm supposed to do.
- 10:23Speaker 1: So I can't make excuses. But I've come to realize
- 10:28Speaker 1: that a lot of people excuses is just it's just
- 10:33Speaker 1: another thing for them. You know. We we make it
- 10:36Speaker 1: excuses about any and everything. We make its excuses about
- 10:41Speaker 1: things that even don't even deserve an excuse, but make
- 10:46Speaker 1: an excuse about it just so we feel good. And
- 10:51Speaker 1: that's how I'm looking at a lot of people operate,
- 10:55Speaker 1: you know. And and it's not just it don't matter
- 10:59Speaker 1: what level you on, because I'm seeing professional people move
- 11:04Speaker 1: like that too. So it makes me wonder, you know,
- 11:10Speaker 1: it truly makes me wonder the commitments, the level of
- 11:16Speaker 1: commitment that people truly have, you know, I had a
- 11:22Speaker 1: situation where an individual wanted to be a part of
- 11:27Speaker 1: an event where they decided that they wanted to be
- 11:30Speaker 1: a part of another event. But because they fail to
- 11:36Speaker 1: read the policy and guidelines, then you you're not able
- 11:43Speaker 1: to recoup a refund. So then they filed fraudulent charges.
- 11:49Speaker 1: So you lie. We lying. Now, we bringing false allegations
- 11:53Speaker 1: on people. We deferre making people characters because we don't
- 11:57Speaker 1: want to keep to our commitment. That's the kind of
- 12:01Speaker 1: world that we're living in now. You know, people they
- 12:05Speaker 1: don't honor their commitments, and then when they can't honor
- 12:07Speaker 1: their commitments, they don't care who they who they hinder,
- 12:14Speaker 1: or who they come against, as long as they are vindicated.
- 12:20Speaker 1: And that's the word colonel, we're living in. So what
- 12:25Speaker 1: are your thoughts on tonight? Well, what is person on
- 12:27Speaker 1: your mind tonight? That was that was my vent for tonight,
- 12:30Speaker 1: that was my letout. That's what's been pressing on my
- 12:33Speaker 1: mind tonight. What's on your mind tonight? And hear from
- 12:37Speaker 1: those that are tuned in. You tune in and you
- 12:39Speaker 1: got something that's Princeton. You want to let out that
- 12:41Speaker 1: you get out. This is the night to do that.
- 12:44Speaker 1: Come on, come on through and let it out.
- 12:49Speaker 2: And you know what, while you were just talking, I
- 12:53Speaker 2: was just trying to gather my thoughts. Every time I
- 12:57Speaker 2: come on the podcast, all always have like a slight
- 13:02Speaker 2: anxiety attack. And so you know, I was just sitting
- 13:06Speaker 2: up here while you were speaking. I was just sitting
- 13:10Speaker 2: up here and I was just praising God to get
- 13:12Speaker 2: it to move, because I know that's an attack of
- 13:18Speaker 2: the enemy, the enemy trying.
- 13:20Speaker 1: To take my voice from me.
- 13:21Speaker 2: I know that I have a voice, and I want
- 13:24Speaker 2: to know and I want to use my voice to
- 13:27Speaker 2: bring glory to God.
- 13:29Speaker 1: And every.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Time it never fails. I have to settle My heart
- 13:40Speaker 2: started being real fast, and I start sweating and my
- 13:45Speaker 2: words started leaving and I'm just all over the place.
- 13:51Speaker 2: So I just sat here here and I was just
- 13:55Speaker 2: telling my spirit, you gotta settle down, no no matter what.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Exactly exactly.
- 14:08Speaker 2: You know, everybody knows my story, everybody knows what I've
- 14:14Speaker 2: been going through these.
- 14:18Speaker 1: Last past nine months.
- 14:22Speaker 2: But I want to speak a person's that lost their
- 14:35Speaker 2: their child that you was telling me about, and I
- 14:42Speaker 2: know that feeling. I didn't have to get a phone
- 14:46Speaker 2: call sam My child has transitioned. Our hurry up, get
- 14:55Speaker 2: to the hospital. I didn't get that them calls. I
- 15:02Speaker 2: walked into the room and I saw to my child,
- 15:06Speaker 2: but not thinking that he had transitioned, just thinking he
- 15:10Speaker 2: was sleep And so I know them their pain. I
- 15:18Speaker 2: know what they're going to deal with as they begin
- 15:21Speaker 2: to start making preparations for to lay their child to rest. Thankfully,
- 15:33Speaker 2: I had my mother on a day when I went
- 15:39Speaker 2: to start making arrangements for my son and also my
- 15:45Speaker 2: cousin Eric. I had them three with me, and when
- 15:49Speaker 2: it came down to signing the papers, I had a problem.
- 15:59Speaker 2: I couldn't sign my name. I can sign his name.
- 16:05Speaker 2: So I know they're gonna struggle with that. Luckily, the.
- 16:11Speaker 1: The funeral home.
- 16:12Speaker 2: Director, Lance, he was there and he knew and he
- 16:17Speaker 2: asked me, he said, would you like for me to
- 16:19Speaker 2: do it? And I said yes, and he felt out
- 16:24Speaker 2: the papers for me and I just signed it.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Well, my heart, yeah, I have not experienced it's no
- 16:35Speaker 1: time limit on grief. And we have a couple right
- 16:44Speaker 1: now from the prayer line that they just lost their baby.
- 16:51Speaker 1: You know, they took their baby to the hospital and
- 16:55Speaker 1: you know now they're going home from the hospital and
- 16:57Speaker 1: their baby's not going home with them. You know, their
- 17:01Speaker 1: baby was five years old and now they having to
- 17:04Speaker 1: prepare to lay their five year old son the rest.
- 17:09Speaker 1: You know, I don't know what that feels like, and
- 17:11Speaker 1: I don't wish that. Don't nobody, you know, but those
- 17:15Speaker 1: that are experiencing that and that have gone through that.
- 17:20Speaker 1: You know, I feel like there's somebody out there that
- 17:25Speaker 1: needs to hear yourself that it needs to you know,
- 17:29Speaker 1: know how how you get through it. But everybody will
- 17:32Speaker 1: tell us that it's gonna get easier, it's gonna be okay.
- 17:36Speaker 1: But you know, I've never lost a son or not.
- 17:40Speaker 1: I I lost a parent, I lost both parents, and
- 17:44Speaker 1: I lost my mother over thirty years ago. And when
- 17:46Speaker 1: people say it gets easier, no, it did not get easy.
- 17:50Speaker 1: It did not get easy. There's still days and it's
- 17:54Speaker 1: still days when you know, I cry, you know, because
- 17:59Speaker 1: I have truly miss my mom and I'm like I
- 18:04Speaker 1: used to think that, you know, how would things be
- 18:07Speaker 1: if my mom was here? You know, I always have
- 18:10Speaker 1: these things in the back of my mind, wondering, you know,
- 18:13Speaker 1: what this would be like, what this would have been,
- 18:15Speaker 1: how this would have been, and if my life would
- 18:17Speaker 1: have been different, if my mom was here, you know,
- 18:20Speaker 1: thirty years without your mom. But I thank God again
- 18:23Speaker 1: who he said he would be in my life. He
- 18:25Speaker 1: said he would be a mother for the motherless, a
- 18:27Speaker 1: father for the fatherless. And he's truly been that for me.
- 18:31Speaker 1: But for that person that may not understand, or they
- 18:37Speaker 1: may be just experiencing this, going through this, well, what
- 18:40Speaker 1: is one thing that you would say to them too?
- 18:44Speaker 1: Because we hear a lot and somebody may have said something,
- 18:50Speaker 1: get over it. You know a lot of people say
- 18:53Speaker 1: you gotta move on, you got this. Well, what is
- 18:55Speaker 1: one thing that you would say to a grieving mom
- 19:00Speaker 1: that that would.
- 19:05Speaker 2: You know what.
- 19:09Speaker 1: It's words came? Really say.
- 19:14Speaker 2: What I can say to that mother? But I can
- 19:16Speaker 2: just tell her just you know, with me, luckily I
- 19:20Speaker 2: had my mom, my aunties, and my cousins now all
- 19:26Speaker 2: around me talking to me. And you know, I grew
- 19:32Speaker 2: up in a my My family was very close knitted,
- 19:36Speaker 2: are close knitted, and we all feel each other pain
- 19:41Speaker 2: and the way we was raised, our first cousins. You
- 19:46Speaker 2: would think that we're actually brothers and sisters, but we're
- 19:50Speaker 2: just first cousins. That's how close we are are. And
- 19:54Speaker 2: just to get that support number one, Lena, God, that's
- 20:00Speaker 2: where you're gonna draw your strength from. I know it's
- 20:03Speaker 2: hard to say lean on him because now you're saying, Lord,
- 20:09Speaker 2: why you took my child.
- 20:11Speaker 1: I went through that.
- 20:13Speaker 2: Oh, I went through that. I was so angry and
- 20:16Speaker 2: I was so mad. I even called my uncle that's
- 20:19Speaker 2: a minister, and I asked him, I said, Uncle, Marvin,
- 20:24Speaker 2: can I be mad? And he was like, what would you?
- 20:28Speaker 2: You know? What's the problem, what's going on? And I
- 20:31Speaker 2: told him, I said I'm mad, I'm upset, I'm angry.
- 20:34Speaker 2: And he stopped me writing my tracks, and I knew
- 20:37Speaker 2: what the next word he was gonna say, It's okay
- 20:40Speaker 2: to be mad, but don't you blasphem me.
- 20:43Speaker 1: And you know, and I was really there before.
- 20:46Speaker 2: I was really there at that point because I was
- 20:49Speaker 2: angry and I'm starting to release that anger. But I
- 20:55Speaker 2: know that Kyle was on loan to me at that point.
- 21:00Speaker 2: At this point, when you're going through the grieving process,
- 21:03Speaker 2: you don't want people saying, oh, he was on loan
- 21:06Speaker 2: to you, or he's in a better place. You don't
- 21:09Speaker 2: want people coming up to you telling you that because
- 21:12Speaker 2: you want your child, you go into that selfish.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Mote that was my child. And you know God, Me
- 21:20Speaker 1: and God had that conversation one day.
- 21:22Speaker 2: It was raining and I'm in my car and I'm
- 21:27Speaker 2: just crying and I'm just yelling. I'm like, Lord, you
- 21:31Speaker 2: took my son from me. How can you do that
- 21:34Speaker 2: to me? Why would you take my baby baby from me?
- 21:39Speaker 2: And soon as I got quiet, I kid you not.
- 21:44Speaker 2: He told me he was mine. That's what he told me.
- 21:51Speaker 2: He said he was mine. I told him before I
- 21:56Speaker 2: loaned him to you, that I was gonna go way
- 22:00Speaker 2: and I was going to prepare a place for him
- 22:03Speaker 2: and I was gonna come back and I was going
- 22:05Speaker 2: to receive him. Unto me, you did your job. You
- 22:10Speaker 2: was the surrogate. I gave you custody of him. You
- 22:15Speaker 2: did what you were supposed to do. This is my
- 22:19Speaker 2: conversation with God.
- 22:21Speaker 1: I kid you not.
- 22:22Speaker 3: I had.
- 22:23Speaker 1: This is what he told me. I written it, damn
- 22:26Speaker 1: what he told me.
- 22:28Speaker 2: And all I can do was cry because now once
- 22:33Speaker 2: I had that conversation with him, once he told me that,
- 22:38Speaker 2: I felt a little better because I know my child
- 22:42Speaker 2: was resting. I know that his father, his heaveny father,
- 22:47Speaker 2: came and got him, just like he promised. Him.
- 22:52Speaker 1: You know, Kyle, Kyle came in here quick.
- 22:57Speaker 2: He wouldn't even the doctor wasn't didn't even make it
- 23:01Speaker 2: into the room.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Before Kyle made his grand entrance.
- 23:06Speaker 2: He was out.
- 23:08Speaker 1: The nurse had to get it. He was here.
- 23:12Speaker 2: Kyle came in for something like about between four and
- 23:18Speaker 2: four thirty in the evening. Because I was watching the news.
- 23:21Speaker 2: They had the news playing in the background. When I
- 23:24Speaker 2: found my baby at his peaceful rest, it was between
- 23:28Speaker 2: them same time zone. So I knew it was God
- 23:33Speaker 2: that came and got it. I knew it was God
- 23:38Speaker 2: that came to Gotti.
- 23:40Speaker 1: So that's what I would tell.
- 23:45Speaker 2: A mother, a father. Lean on your faith. You gonna
- 23:48Speaker 2: have where you questioning God, but don't go over. Don't
- 23:53Speaker 2: step over that boundary. But you can't go back. You
- 23:56Speaker 2: have your conversation with Him and you all that's the
- 24:01Speaker 2: only person you.
- 24:02Speaker 1: Need to talk to.
- 24:03Speaker 2: At point.
- 24:05Speaker 1: Family gonna come around you. You let them love on.
- 24:09Speaker 2: You, because I could you not. My family loved on
- 24:13Speaker 2: me and they still love on me. Five o'clock in
- 24:18Speaker 2: the morning, four thirty in the morning, I get a
- 24:21Speaker 2: phone call from my sister while she on her way
- 24:24Speaker 2: to and we talk in some moments. Some days she
- 24:28Speaker 2: let me vent and I cried, and I can hear
- 24:33Speaker 2: her crying as well. Yesterday me and my mom had
- 24:37Speaker 2: a conversation and sometimes I forget that, you know, she
- 24:45Speaker 2: was even though she was his grandmother, she was all
- 24:49Speaker 2: she's also his mother, because that's what my grandmother would
- 24:52Speaker 2: tell us.
- 24:53Speaker 1: Oh, I'm your mom, I'm your mother too.
- 24:57Speaker 2: You know. I had the the uh. I may be
- 25:03Speaker 2: getting off track just a little bit, but the worstest thing.
- 25:11Speaker 1: That I had to do was tell my mother that.
- 25:19Speaker 2: One of her grandchild's grandchildren had transition. That was the
- 25:26Speaker 2: hardest thing to do. The let me go back to
- 25:31Speaker 2: once they came in. Once they came in the house
- 25:33Speaker 2: and they pronounced my son. I called my sister and
- 25:38Speaker 2: she was, you know, and I tell her everything, Shane.
- 25:43Speaker 2: They think that we're twins, where we're not. And I
- 25:46Speaker 2: tell her everything, and just to listen to her. She
- 25:49Speaker 2: was real calm, real calm about it, and she said, okay, Snet,
- 25:57Speaker 2: But I know deep down the site that that was
- 26:01Speaker 2: killing her, that that was hurting her because Kyle was
- 26:06Speaker 2: her baby.
- 26:08Speaker 1: Then I had to call and tell my mother.
- 26:14Speaker 2: And when I heard my mother cry out, I couldn't
- 26:19Speaker 2: stay on the phone. I just hung up the phone
- 26:22Speaker 2: because I can hear her pain, her his siblings. I
- 26:28Speaker 2: can see the pain in there and their face. You know,
- 26:36Speaker 2: get around your family. Let your family love you. If
- 26:41Speaker 2: you have a church family, let them love on you.
- 26:47Speaker 2: These last months, I've been going in. I went to church,
- 26:52Speaker 2: but during that time, I was angry at God. I
- 26:56Speaker 2: would I wouldn't let it go. I couldn't let that go.
- 27:00Speaker 1: So I will go.
- 27:02Speaker 2: When I would walk into church, I will cry. I
- 27:06Speaker 2: would sit there and I would just cry and everything
- 27:09Speaker 2: because I'm so mad. But I'm hearing the word and
- 27:12Speaker 2: the pastor is speaking to me and stuff I walked
- 27:22Speaker 2: away from.
- 27:23Speaker 1: It is definitely a journey. And there are a lot
- 27:27Speaker 1: of people out there that is experiencing this and going
- 27:30Speaker 1: through this, and I want you to share with them
- 27:33Speaker 1: because I know you have a project that's going to
- 27:36Speaker 1: be coming up, that's gonna drop in twenty twenty five. Yeah,
- 27:39Speaker 1: if you would share about your project and how they
- 27:44Speaker 1: could be a part of your project, please take this
- 27:49Speaker 1: time to do that.
- 27:55Speaker 2: Well, you know, I know I went all over the
- 27:58Speaker 2: place and stuff. That's because I get a most you know,
- 28:00Speaker 2: sometimes speaking about.
- 28:01Speaker 1: That I decided to.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Do a book, a grief book, because I know we
- 28:11Speaker 2: all experience grief different. So I decided that's how I'm
- 28:19Speaker 2: getting to write how I feel. So if I can
- 28:23Speaker 2: put it in paper and on paper and another parent
- 28:28Speaker 2: can see that the different stages of grief, that it
- 28:33Speaker 2: doesn't go away no matter what anybody tell you, no
- 28:38Speaker 2: matter what anybody tell you.
- 28:40Speaker 1: So you guys out there, if you can't talk to
- 28:42Speaker 1: a person.
- 28:43Speaker 2: That just that a parent that's grieving, listen to him.
- 28:49Speaker 1: That's all we want you to do. Just listen to us.
- 28:53Speaker 2: Just do that, that one little thing.
- 28:56Speaker 1: Just listen.
- 28:58Speaker 2: And give them, give us a hug. Don't say nothing else.
- 29:02Speaker 2: Don't say your kid is in a better place, don't
- 29:05Speaker 2: say say that. Just be a listener. That's all we
- 29:11Speaker 2: need is for you to listen to us and pray.
- 29:16Speaker 2: Pray for us, because I'm telling you this journey is hard.
- 29:21Speaker 2: But I would like anybody that's experienced grief, if you
- 29:26Speaker 2: experienced a child, a loss of a child, a loss
- 29:30Speaker 2: of a spouse, a loss of a sibling, a loss
- 29:34Speaker 2: of anybody, a grandparent, I would like for you to
- 29:39Speaker 2: be a point. You know, I it's the words be
- 29:50Speaker 2: a part of this book program with me. Let's put it,
- 29:56Speaker 2: put it, this this project together, so we can sow
- 30:03Speaker 2: someone that has experienced these different types of grief, so
- 30:06Speaker 2: they will know that it's okay to grieve. You gotta
- 30:12Speaker 2: let it out, don't suppress it. You gotta let it out.
- 30:15Speaker 2: No matter what anybody said, you have to let it out.
- 30:19Speaker 2: But as Simone and Angela and them tell me, don't
- 30:25Speaker 2: stay there too long. Lets let it out, release it.
- 30:31Speaker 1: If want to be a part of your body, how
- 30:33Speaker 1: can they be a part of your project. They can't.
- 30:41Speaker 2: Let's see my link tree. Go to my link tree.
- 30:45Speaker 2: You'll find all my information there. It's called Cheanette's Voice
- 30:50Speaker 2: link tree Chanette's Voice.
- 31:01Speaker 1: All right, all right, but there y'all have it. I
- 31:04Speaker 1: want to for tuning in tonight. We just wanted to
- 31:09Speaker 1: take this opportunity to share again. That was something that
- 31:13Speaker 1: was yet person in my spirit. We are I am
- 31:17Speaker 1: a part of a prayer line, and that was one
- 31:20Speaker 1: of the conversations that we were having this morning, and
- 31:23Speaker 1: I just wanted to to come on and you know,
- 31:27Speaker 1: just be an outlet for that person that may be
- 31:29Speaker 1: going through because I know a lot of people are
- 31:31Speaker 1: going through right now, people are experiencing grief and in
- 31:35Speaker 1: different ways. So just wanted to be an out let
- 31:39Speaker 1: on today. Just wanted to use our platform to be
- 31:43Speaker 1: a voice. So if you're out there, you have someone
- 31:47Speaker 1: that is willing to assist you on this journey, willing
- 31:50Speaker 1: to allow you a platform and an outlet to express
- 31:54Speaker 1: that that you want to share in the way that
- 31:57Speaker 1: you want to share it that may help someone else.
- 32:00Speaker 1: So if you would like to be a part of
- 32:02Speaker 1: this anthology is going to drop in twenty twenty five.
- 32:05Speaker 1: Chanette is one of the amazing individuals that I'm going
- 32:08Speaker 1: to be working with to help them get their book out.
- 32:12Speaker 1: I am doing a self publishing coaching program in twenty
- 32:17Speaker 1: twenty five. I'm going to be helping individuals that want
- 32:19Speaker 1: to learn the process. I believe it that I believe
- 32:23Speaker 1: in if you teach a person how to fish, they'll
- 32:26Speaker 1: never be hungry. They'll be able to go out there
- 32:27Speaker 1: and throw that real life that they'll be able to
- 32:29Speaker 1: draw in fish and they'll be able to feed somewhere else.
- 32:32Speaker 1: So that's what I am on twenty twenty five, I'm
- 32:35Speaker 1: going to be helping those that want to self publish,
- 32:39Speaker 1: want to get those pieces out there. I want to
- 32:41Speaker 1: learn this process on their own. I believe in paying
- 32:44Speaker 1: it forward, So that's what I'm going to be doing.
- 32:47Speaker 1: Shout out to Shanette, Shout out to Shaniria Osborne in
- 32:52Speaker 1: Little Parker, Little Unique Parker, who is also going to
- 32:56Speaker 1: be producing their book Projects five. I'm excited. I cannot wait.
- 33:03Speaker 1: Not only are they doing their own projects, these amazing
- 33:07Speaker 1: queens are part of this book that just dropped on today,
- 33:11Speaker 1: Footprints in the Sand some time, y'all, if y'all have
- 33:14Speaker 1: not picked up your e copy, go over to Amazon.
- 33:18Speaker 1: Pick up your e copy. You get an opportunity to
- 33:21Speaker 1: meet thirty amazing poets that's sharing from their heart and
- 33:25Speaker 1: soul through words. Y'all. We're touching on everything. I'm talking
- 33:28Speaker 1: about everything that you can think of up under the
- 33:31Speaker 1: sun that will help you on this journey we call life,
- 33:36Speaker 1: and it's coming from our experiences, things that we have
- 33:39Speaker 1: gone through. So y'all go over and copy you a
- 33:42Speaker 1: copy three dollars and thirty three cents. If you got Kendo,
- 33:46Speaker 1: you can get it for free. Y'all know, if y'all
- 33:48Speaker 1: got Candle, y'all can get it for free. So go
- 33:50Speaker 1: I don't over there, support these kings and queens, because
- 33:53Speaker 1: we do have some kings in this book. So go
- 33:56Speaker 1: over and support these kings and queens that are sharing, y'all.
- 34:01Speaker 1: That's sharing from their heart, that's sharing their perspective, their words,
- 34:04Speaker 1: their thoughts. I'm excited. I'm excited for them. And not
- 34:09Speaker 1: only that, y'all. We are currently working on the one
- 34:11Speaker 1: hundred and twenty one Days a Prayer Devotion book. We
- 34:16Speaker 1: still have an opportunity for you to share inside of
- 34:19Speaker 1: this book. If you have something, if I've done something, y'all,
- 34:23Speaker 1: don't sit down on your testimony, share it with somebody else,
- 34:27Speaker 1: because that that that you may have that you are
- 34:31Speaker 1: holding on to, maybe that one thing that will help
- 34:33Speaker 1: somebody else come out. So I'm urging you. If you're
- 34:37Speaker 1: out there, you have a testimony and God has done
- 34:39Speaker 1: something for you, share it with the world. Go tell
- 34:42Speaker 1: it is what I call I say, go tell it
- 34:44Speaker 1: to the mountains. So y'all, share you have If you
- 34:49Speaker 1: have thirteen dollars and thirty three cent. If you don't
- 34:51Speaker 1: have thirteen dollars and thirty three cent, all you gotta
- 34:54Speaker 1: do is communicate with me, y'all, I'm telling you it's
- 34:56Speaker 1: not about the money. With me and anybody that has
- 34:58Speaker 1: worked with me on project, anybody it has been a
- 35:00Speaker 1: part of myself, with anybody that know me, know that
- 35:03Speaker 1: it's not about money, but it's about the message and
- 35:06Speaker 1: it's about God's goodness and that's what I'm about. So y'all,
- 35:10Speaker 1: thank you for tuning in tonight. I tell you, if
- 35:12Speaker 1: you've been blessed by anything that has been shared on
- 35:15Speaker 1: this broadcast, tonight, I want you guys to share this
- 35:18Speaker 1: out with someone in your circle of influence. Know that
- 35:22Speaker 1: the group podcast is over here. We're out here being
- 35:25Speaker 1: the change that we desire to see in this world.
- 35:29Speaker 1: We're being a voice for those that think that they
- 35:31Speaker 1: don't have a voice or those that are voices. So y'all,
- 35:35Speaker 1: thank you for your support. Channette, you got anything that
- 35:38Speaker 1: you want to say before.
- 35:39Speaker 2: We leave, Yes, tune in tomorrow. I'll be back with
- 35:49Speaker 2: with another episode of Let's Talk About It eight pm
- 35:53Speaker 2: Eastern Standard time, five pm Specific Center time. We'll be
- 35:58Speaker 2: talking about what we was gonna be talking about, Angela.
- 36:05Speaker 1: We're gonna be talking about some of the injustice and
- 36:09Speaker 1: some of the things that are going on inside of TDCJ. Currently, y'all,
- 36:14Speaker 1: there's a lot of drug abuse going on behind these
- 36:18Speaker 1: prison walls, and it need to be light, needed to
- 36:22Speaker 1: be shedded on it. A lot of things that go
- 36:24Speaker 1: on behind these closed doors, and they try to keep
- 36:27Speaker 1: it under wraps and they try to keep it hid
- 36:30Speaker 1: from us, and then they make us look like things
- 36:33Speaker 1: are okay. But when you when you are in contact
- 36:38Speaker 1: with your loved one, you are in communication with your
- 36:40Speaker 1: loved one. You're having these conversations with your loved one,
- 36:44Speaker 1: you know, because we communicate with those that are behind
- 36:49Speaker 1: prison walls, and we talk to somebody every day, So
- 36:52Speaker 1: every day we're talking to somebody, so we know what
- 36:55Speaker 1: is going on behind these prison walls. And when five
- 36:57Speaker 1: and six and seven people are calling you and they're
- 36:59Speaker 1: telling you the same story, then something is going on
- 37:02Speaker 1: and something that is not right. And they don't have
- 37:04Speaker 1: to be in the same prison, but they're calling you
- 37:06Speaker 1: and telling so something and there's some things that need
- 37:10Speaker 1: to be addressed, and they are still not allowing these
- 37:13Speaker 1: things to be addressed. I'm not gonna be quiet. I
- 37:17Speaker 1: don't care if everybody that I'm helping right now get paroleed.
- 37:21Speaker 1: I'm still not gonna be quiet. I'm still gonna until
- 37:26Speaker 1: I see change. I'm not gonna stop. I'm not gonna stop.
- 37:32Speaker 1: So we're gonna be touching on. We're gonna be talking
- 37:34Speaker 1: about the drug abuse that's going on inside of TDCJ.
- 37:38Speaker 1: How are these people getting the drugs in? Inmates are
- 37:41Speaker 1: not going out to Walmart, They're not going out to
- 37:44Speaker 1: these drug dealers houses and getting these drugs. So how
- 37:47Speaker 1: are these drugs getting into the prison system? You will,
- 37:50Speaker 1: are we evaluating our country? We're doing these so were
- 37:56Speaker 1: checking these people before they come in. If you're doing
- 38:00Speaker 1: your job, then your facility can run great. See it
- 38:05Speaker 1: ain't nothing nobody told me. Because see what a lot
- 38:08Speaker 1: of people don't know too is I was a correction
- 38:10Speaker 1: officer in south Fordton County back in the nineties, So
- 38:13Speaker 1: I know what. I know what it is to work
- 38:16Speaker 1: behind those prison walls because I've done it and I
- 38:20Speaker 1: can you know what, in California, So I know what
- 38:29Speaker 1: can be done. So all this stuff that they tell
- 38:32Speaker 1: me and and and I write them and I tell them,
- 38:36Speaker 1: you know, I used these I used t d c
- 38:39Speaker 1: J as my project for for my for my classes
- 38:43Speaker 1: that that I'm taking I'm always talking about them. I'm
- 38:47Speaker 1: always talking about their policies. I'm always talking about their procedures.
- 38:53Speaker 1: Last semester, last quarter, my teacher he told me I
- 38:57Speaker 1: should be a consultant for then, he said, you should
- 39:00Speaker 1: be a consult for them. He said, because you can
- 39:03Speaker 1: turn that program around. I told T c J. I'm not.
- 39:09Speaker 2: For them. But you know, we also have a little
- 39:16Speaker 2: some things do in California that we're going to talk about.
- 39:19Speaker 2: Also tomorrow, we had it was a federal correctional officer.
- 39:25Speaker 2: He worked in the mail room. Someone sent a packaging
- 39:31Speaker 2: but they tried to say it was legal mail, and
- 39:33Speaker 2: the guy opened it and it was it was lace
- 39:38Speaker 2: with fentanyl. Later on that night, the correctional officer passed away,
- 39:44Speaker 2: all because of some the somebody decided to send it
- 39:48Speaker 2: through mail.
- 39:50Speaker 1: So we have that.
- 39:52Speaker 2: We're gonna be talking about T D A TD. Yeah,
- 39:57Speaker 2: we're gonna be talking about Texas. We're gonna be talking
- 40:00Speaker 2: love about California. We're gonna be talking about a little
- 40:04Speaker 2: about everything. Also, I want to just in case I forget,
- 40:11Speaker 2: I want to congratulate being Spencer.
- 40:16Speaker 1: Being Spencer did.
- 40:19Speaker 2: Thirty four years wrongfully convicted in the state of Texicis
- 40:25Speaker 2: on this past Friday, he was exonerated from that. So
- 40:34Speaker 2: being congratulations, there's nothing else we can say.
- 40:43Speaker 1: And that's another one. That's that's another thing. I'm so
- 40:48Speaker 1: I'm so happy when when when that is the outcome,
- 40:51Speaker 1: because it makes no sense that our people have to
- 40:54Speaker 1: go through like they go through. And and when I
- 40:57Speaker 1: hear that part, when I hear that, in my heart,
- 41:01Speaker 1: just my heart just feels with joy because at least
- 41:06Speaker 1: they going through and and and they're enduring. It was
- 41:10Speaker 1: not in vain. So I praise God for for his
- 41:14Speaker 1: redemption and for restoring him and for forgiving him back
- 41:19Speaker 1: double for what he has lost. Never can replace the time,
- 41:24Speaker 1: but at least he can be paid for what they
- 41:27Speaker 1: put him through. He'll never he'll never be able to
- 41:31Speaker 1: erase the time or or what has been lost. At
- 41:34Speaker 1: least he can live a better life going on. HM, hallelujah,
- 41:39Speaker 1: Thank you Jesus. So yet we hope that wants that
- 41:45Speaker 1: are being held behind prison while unlawfully, wrongfully and overly incarcerated,
- 41:51Speaker 1: the fight continue and we journey on. So y'all join
- 41:55Speaker 1: us tomorrow night. And I'm telling you ain't no telling
- 41:58Speaker 1: what we may talk about if you have a loved
- 42:00Speaker 1: one that is behind these prison walls. I want you
- 42:03Speaker 1: to tune in and join in. Bring your questions, bring
- 42:07Speaker 1: your concerns.
- 42:08Speaker 2: Y'all.
- 42:09Speaker 1: We are the change that we want to see in
- 42:10Speaker 1: this world. And change start and then if you won't change,
- 42:15Speaker 1: you gotta be that change. And I don't got no drink,
- 42:19Speaker 1: but I want sipping on me an icy, y'all. I
- 42:22Speaker 1: have me an icy because it's hot out here and
- 42:24Speaker 1: they got two fires going out in California. Y'all new
- 42:31Speaker 1: to me, But anyway, I love y'all. I appreciate y'all,
- 42:35Speaker 1: and don't forget. October nineteenth, a A L A C.

- 42:42Speaker 1: down in the great state of South Carolina, my hometown.
- 42:46Speaker 1: We're gonna be in Charleston, which is Patrece hometown. Y'all.
- 42:51Speaker 1: We're gonna be making our mark. We're gonna be doing
- 42:53Speaker 1: what we do and allowing God to be who he
- 42:57Speaker 1: said he will be in our lives, allowing us to
- 43:00Speaker 1: utilize our gifts and talents. We're gonna We're looking for authors,
- 43:03Speaker 1: business owners, community leaders, anybody that's ready to showcase their business,
