This is the introduction to the series on "Wisdom The Principal Thing." There are two sources of wisdom available to us. The wisdom of the world and the wisdom from God. The wisdom that comes from the world is flawed because of its source. The wisdom from God is perfect because of its perfect source. Solomon upon becoming King of Israel sought the Lord for wisdom to rule Israel. he humbled himself and didn't ask for the usual requests from Kings, "riches and honour. long life ,and victory over enemies."
