Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
• 0:03
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. In this episode, we're picking up where we
• 0:06
Speaker 1: left off with the Hillary Clinton transcript from her conversation
• 0:10
Speaker 1: with Congress. Question, okay, but even though we've established that
• 0:15
Speaker 1: he was in the White House, Epstein, I'm talking about
• 0:17
Speaker 1: 17 times, and there's a public report that there were
• 0:21
Speaker 1: personal tours given, not only in the White House, but
• 0:23
Speaker 1: even the residence, and somebody that smart just happened not
• 0:26
Speaker 1: to remember any of it. Lawyer for Clinton jumps in.
• 0:29
Speaker 1: This witness can answer the question about her own declaration
• 0:32
Speaker 1: about what she recalls are new. Again, the president is
• 0:35
Speaker 1: going to be here tomorrow. Question. All right. Well, your
• 0:38
Speaker 1: client talked about patterns in practice and Bill Clinton, her husband,
• 0:42
Speaker 1: said that he doesn't remember meeting Epstein during his time
• 0:45
Speaker 1: in office, took trips with him on his plane to
• 0:48
Speaker 1: New York, England, Japan, China, Singapore, Bangkok, Brunei, Rwanda, Mozambique,
• 0:53
Speaker 1: South Africa, France, Norway, and many more. So it's really
• 0:57
Speaker 1: not a question of where they went together, but where
• 1:00
Speaker 1: they didn't go together. Do you know how the colloquial
• 1:05
Speaker 1: name for St. James Island? Clinton, no. Question? It's Epstein Island, okay?
• 1:11
Speaker 1: I'll refer to it in both contexts. To your knowledge,
• 1:13
Speaker 1: did your husband ever visit Little St. James? Answer, not
• 1:17
Speaker 1: to my knowledge. Question? Okay, do you know who Doug
• 1:19
Speaker 1: Band is? Answer, he worked for my husband for years. Question,
• 1:23
Speaker 1: so by reports on the press... He was a key
• 1:25
Speaker 1: architect of the Bill Clinton post-presidency, a top aide, the
• 1:28
Speaker 1: body man, the fixer, counselor, and close advisor. Would you
• 1:32
Speaker 1: disagree with any of those? Answer. He worked for him
• 1:35
Speaker 1: in a number of capacities. Question. About 10 years? 2002
• 1:40
Speaker 1: to 2012, I think it was. Answer. He worked for him.
• 1:43
Speaker 1: I don't know. Question. Fair to say. Give or take
• 1:45
Speaker 1: a decade. Okay. He's on the record as asserting that Mr.
• 1:49
Speaker 1: Clinton did indeed visit Epstein's Island. Do you think he's lying? Answer. Yes. Question.
• 1:54
Speaker 1: Why would he lie? Answer, I don't know. You'd have
• 1:56
Speaker 1: to ask him. Question, okay. Then you know Virginia? Have
• 2:00
Speaker 1: you heard of Virginia? I'm sure you didn't meet her,
• 2:02
Speaker 1: but have you heard of Virginia? Answer, I've heard about
• 2:05
Speaker 1: her in press coverage. Answer, I didn't meet her either.
• 2:08
Speaker 1: She was a victim of Mr. Epstein. Tragically, she didn't survive.
• 2:11
Speaker 1: She's no longer with us. She testified under oath that
• 2:15
Speaker 1: she saw Mr. Clinton on Epstein's island two separate occasions.
• 2:18
Speaker 1: You think she's lying? Answer, I have no information whatsoever
• 2:21
Speaker 1: that he was ever on the island. Question, and just
• 2:24
Speaker 1: to be fairer, Why do you think that is? I mean,
• 2:26
Speaker 1: that's my question. Answer, I'm not going to offer my opinion. Question,
• 2:30
Speaker 1: all right, that's fair. Answer, I don't have any information. Question,
• 2:35
Speaker 1: further to your point earlier about practices and patterns, now
• 2:38
Speaker 1: there's a third person, Steve Scully. Have you heard of him? Answer, who? Question,
• 2:43
Speaker 1: Steve Scully. Answer, Steve Scully. Answer, yes. Question, I know
• 2:47
Speaker 1: of a Steve Scully by who was at Apple. Question, well,
• 2:52
Speaker 1: he was an IT contractor on the infamous aforementioned island.
• 2:56
Speaker 1: He also asserts that he saw Mr. Clinton, and that
• 2:59
Speaker 1: this is a quote from him, lounging around the porch
• 3:01
Speaker 1: area of Little St. James Villa. It's just oddly specific.
• 3:05
Speaker 1: Do you think this third person was lying as well? Answer,
• 3:09
Speaker 1: I don't know information about Mr. Scully. Question, I wanted
• 3:12
Speaker 1: to ask you that, because I find that odd. It's
• 3:15
Speaker 1: a pattern in practice, as you mentioned. Have you ever
• 3:17
Speaker 1: visited Epstein Island or Little St. James Island? Clinton, no. Question, okay,
• 3:22
Speaker 1: so just to be clear, is it your testimony that,
• 3:24
Speaker 1: for instance, you've never flew on a private plane, flew
• 3:28
Speaker 1: into St. Thomas Airport, and then didn't enter the terminal,
• 3:31
Speaker 1: but instead boarded a helicopter to Little St. James Island?
• 3:34
Speaker 1: You never did that? Answer, I did not. Question, okay,
• 3:37
Speaker 1: so Virginia Roberts, who we just talked about, who we
• 3:40
Speaker 1: all find highly credible, I think in a bipartisan manner,
• 3:44
Speaker 1: stated that Mr. Clinton walked into Vanity Fair and threatened them.
• 3:48
Speaker 1: and that they better not write and expose the detailing
• 3:50
Speaker 1: of the crimes of his good friend Jeffrey Epstein. Do
• 3:52
Speaker 1: you find that troubling at all? Answer, I find that
• 3:55
Speaker 1: not believable. Question, okay. Let's turn to the current administration,
• 3:59
Speaker 1: President Trump, because you said some pretty choice words of
• 4:03
Speaker 1: the administration and President Trump. Aggressive, and even some coupled
• 4:07
Speaker 1: with incendiary claims about President Trump and his DOJ. Fair
• 4:11
Speaker 1: to say that you would not describe them as transparent? Answer,
• 4:14
Speaker 1: I would not describe them as transparent. Question okay. How
• 4:18
Speaker 1: about you were an enthusiastic supporter of Joe Biden and
• 4:23
Speaker 1: Vice President Harris when each of them respectively ran for president?
• 4:27
Speaker 1: Clinton and I was. Question okay. Would you describe the
• 4:30
Speaker 1: Biden-Harris administration as an administration that was committed to transparency?
• 4:35
Speaker 1: Answer to the best of their ability. Question okay. You
• 4:38
Speaker 1: also asserted, and if I get this wrong, please let
• 4:40
Speaker 1: me know, or at least insinuated, that President Trump was
• 4:43
Speaker 1: closer to Epstein than your husband socially. Answer, I think
• 4:48
Speaker 1: there's an enormous amount of evidence that goes back many,
• 4:50
Speaker 1: many years demonstrating their relationship. Question, okay. Do you know
• 4:54
Speaker 1: how many times Jeffrey Epstein visited the Trump 45 White House? Answer,
• 4:58
Speaker 1: I do not know. Question, by all accounts, in evidence, zero.
• 5:02
Speaker 1: And how many times did he visit the Clinton White House? Answer,
• 5:06
Speaker 1: I don't know. Question, it was 17 times. How much
• 5:09
Speaker 1: did Jeffrey Epstein ever donate to Trump politically? Answer, I
• 5:13
Speaker 1: have no idea. Question, there was zero. but we have
• 5:16
Speaker 1: established that he donated to either you or your husband,
• 5:19
Speaker 1: your committee's 21 grand, agree? Answer, I have no information
• 5:23
Speaker 1: that is personally based about their relationship. Question, Jeffrey Epstein
• 5:28
  Speaker 1: donated $ 35, 000 to foundations. One was a $ 10, 000 donation to
• 5:32
Speaker 1: the White House Historical Society in 93, when the Clintons,
• 5:36
Speaker 1: your family, was in the White House. He donated, and
• 5:39
Speaker 1: then there was a 2006 donation to the Clinton Foundation.
• 5:43
Speaker 1: He donated similarly to the Trump White House. Never. No
• 5:47
Speaker 1: foundations either. How many pages of Epstein files were released
• 5:51
Speaker 1: by the Oversight Committee in 2021 to 2023 when the
• 5:54
Speaker 1: Democrats were in the majority? Answer, I have no idea. Question,
• 5:58
Speaker 1: it was zero. Answer, but there was also an ongoing
• 6:01
Speaker 1: investigation of, I believe, Glenn Maxwell during that time period. Question,
• 6:06
Speaker 1: so the answer is, I can share with you, was zero.
• 6:09
Speaker 1: How many pages did the Biden Department of Justice... Release
• 6:13
Speaker 1: from the Epstein files from 21 to 25. Answer. I
• 6:16
Speaker 1: have no information. I have no personal information. I've read
• 6:20
Speaker 1: that because of the trial of Glenn Maxwell. That was
• 6:22
Speaker 1: not done, but I have no personal information. Question. Yeah. Okay. Well,
• 6:26
Speaker 1: that was zero. And that ended quite a bit ago.
• 6:29
Speaker 1: There were no images and there were no videos. When
• 6:31
Speaker 1: you compare the GOP oversight committee, when we took over
• 6:34
Speaker 1: in January of 23 to present, there were 65,000 documents
• 6:38
Speaker 1: that had been released. And then how many videos? There
• 6:41
Speaker 1: was nothing under the Biden administration. There was no images
• 6:45
Speaker 1: as well. There's been 180,000 images, 200,000 videos, and now
• 6:50
Speaker 1: over 3 million pages. So when you compare them, that's
• 6:54
Speaker 1: an odd definition of who's transparent and who isn't. Last thing,
• 7:00
  Speaker 1: we've established that there's a $ 20, 000 donation that Jeffrey Epstein
• 7:03
Speaker 1: made to an affiliated allied campaign to get you elected
• 7:07
Speaker 1: to the presidency. Have you returned or donated that? He
• 7:10
Speaker 1: got convicted in 2008 of two felony counts. Have you
• 7:13
Speaker 1: ever returned the $ 20, 000? Answer. It didn't come to my campaign.
• 7:17
Speaker 1: I was not in charge of it. Question. So you've
• 7:19
Speaker 1: never donated that to charity? Answer. I've donated many, many
• 7:23
Speaker 1: hundreds of thousands of dollars. Lawyer jumps in. Congressman. I'd
• 7:27
Speaker 1: like to know the facts in the record that show
• 7:29
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein donated to her presidential campaign. Answer. By Clinton. No,
• 7:34
Speaker 1: he's talking about the Senate campaign, I think. Pat Fallon. Yeah,
• 7:38
Speaker 1: I'm sorry. They're not privileged. Question, 1998 was the Senate.
• 7:43
Speaker 1: You're right. I stand corrected. I think that would be
• 7:45
Speaker 1: a nice suggestion. Next up, Representative Cloud from Texas. Clinton, hi,
• 7:52
Speaker 1: could you identify yourself? Representative Cloud, Michael Cloud, 27th, Texas. Question,
• 7:59
Speaker 1: and thank you for being here, Madam Secretary. You were
• 8:02
Speaker 1: asked if Jeffrey Epstein played a role in shaping the
• 8:04
Speaker 1: Clinton Global Initiative. Is it correct to say that you
• 8:07
Speaker 1: have mentioned that you do not know whether this was
• 8:09
Speaker 1: the case or not? Answer, I have no information. Question,
• 8:13
Speaker 1: we have a letter, of course, from Epstein's lawyer stating
• 8:15
Speaker 1: that he was, and I quote, was part of the
• 8:18
Speaker 1: original group that conceived the Clinton Global Initiative. If you
• 8:21
Speaker 1: do not know, who would know? Answer, I don't know
• 8:25
Speaker 1: because I was not involved. Question, you don't know who
• 8:28
Speaker 1: was involved in the beginning? Answer, well, my husband was
• 8:31
Speaker 1: obviously involved. Question, so your husband would know at least? Answer, well,
• 8:35
Speaker 1: you certainly can ask him. Okay, similarly, you've mentioned that
• 8:38
Speaker 1: you do not know how the funds were recruited To
• 8:41
Speaker 1: the Clinton Global Initiative. Is that an accurate understanding of
• 8:44
Speaker 1: your testimony today? Answer. No donations were made. Lots of donations.
• 8:49
Speaker 1: Many individual groups, businesses, philanthropies have donated to the Clinton
• 8:54
Speaker 1: Global Initiative. Answer. Yeah, sure. What was the process of
• 8:58
Speaker 1: recruiting those donations, I guess? Or what was your understanding
• 9:01
Speaker 1: of it or your involvement in it? Answer. Some of
• 9:04
Speaker 1: it was spontaneous. Some of it was through the team
• 9:07
Speaker 1: that helps to raise money. It's a combination of supporting
• 9:10
Speaker 1: charitable work. Question, do you know if Jeffrey Epstein was
• 9:13
Speaker 1: involved in helping find donors, recruit donors? Answer, I have
• 9:17
Speaker 1: no reason to believe that. I don't know. Question, you
• 9:20
Speaker 1: don't know if he was involved in donor relations in
• 9:22
Speaker 1: any way? Answer, I have no, as I say, reason
• 9:26
Speaker 1: to believe it, but I don't know. Question, do you
• 9:28
Speaker 1: know who would know? Answer, the people who were involved
• 9:31
Speaker 1: in raising the money, but I was not involved with
• 9:33
Speaker 1: CGI in those early years. Question, what about when you
• 9:38
Speaker 1: were there? Answer, I have no knowledge that Jeffrey Epstein
• 9:41
Speaker 1: was involved at all. Question, how many, roughly, staff members
• 9:45
Speaker 1: are there in the Clinton Global Initiative? Answer, it was
• 9:50
Speaker 1: varied over the years, but hundreds. Question, and involved with
• 9:53
Speaker 1: donor relations? Answer, dozens, I suppose. Question, dozens? Okay. As
• 9:58
Speaker 1: best we know, it's... been public reported that in 2024
• 10:03
Speaker 1: glaine maxwell or glaine i think is how you pronounced
• 10:06
Speaker 1: arranged and wired one million dollars to publicist group for
• 10:10
Speaker 1: the inaugural cgi event referring to it internally as the
• 10:14
Speaker 1: clinton project epstein was copied on related emails and questioned
• 10:17
Speaker 1: the timing and destination of the funds Were you aware
• 10:20
Speaker 1: of this $ 1 million payment? Answer, I was not. Question,
• 10:25
Speaker 1: were you aware of it before today? Answer, no. Well,
• 10:29
Speaker 1: in preparing for this. Question, in preparation, you were made known. Okay,
• 10:33
Speaker 1: do you know who would have known? Answer, I don't
• 10:36
Speaker 1: even know if it's true, so I have no way
• 10:38
Speaker 1: of telling you. Question, you don't know who had the
• 10:40
Speaker 1: Clinton Global Initiative? What staff would have handled million-dollar donations
• 10:44
Speaker 1: or bill relationships? Answer, I didn't go. It went to
• 10:49
Speaker 1: a group called Publicis, which is not a Clinton Global Initiative,
• 10:52
Speaker 1: so I would not know. Question, well, the email said
• 10:54
Speaker 1: it was for the Clinton Project. Answer, first of all,
• 10:57
Speaker 1: I have no idea whether that's true. And secondly, it
• 11:00
Speaker 1: went to a third party. Question, okay, Maxwell was honored
• 11:04
Speaker 1: and given complimentary access at the 2013 CGI conference for
• 11:08
Speaker 1: your ocean conservation work. Years after public allegations against her
• 11:12
Speaker 1: and Epstein were public, were you involved in approving participants
• 11:15
Speaker 1: or honorees at the CGI events? Answer, I was not.
• 11:19
Speaker 1: But I don't know that there were public allegations at
• 11:21
Speaker 1: that point in time, so I can't respond to that. Question,
• 11:24
Speaker 1: so you were not involved in approval? Answer, I was not. Question,
• 11:28
Speaker 1: you didn't know what was going on or that she
• 11:31
Speaker 1: was going to be honored at the events? Answer, no,
• 11:33
Speaker 1: I was not. Question, do you know who would have known? Answer,
• 11:38
Speaker 1: whoever staff was at the time, but there's been a
• 11:40
Speaker 1: lot of staff turnover in 20 plus years. Question, a
• 11:44
Speaker 1: number of things you've mentioned today. You've mentioned that you've
• 11:47
Speaker 1: not been able to recall, and that's understandable. Is it
• 11:51
Speaker 1: possible that any of the information that you have not
• 11:53
Speaker 1: been able to recall would have been found in 30,000
• 11:55
Speaker 1: emails that went missing? Answer, no, I don't believe so.
• 11:59
Speaker 1: I had no reason to believe that. So it's not
• 12:01
Speaker 1: that I'm not recalling things that were there. I don't
• 12:04
Speaker 1: recall at all. Question, very good. Unfortunately, I have to
• 12:08
Speaker 1: catch a flight. Thank you for your time. All right, folks,
• 12:11
Speaker 1: we're going to wrap up right here. And in the
• 12:13
Speaker 1: next episode, we're going to pick up with Representative Timmons
• 12:16
Speaker 1: from South Carolina. All the information that goes with this
• 12:19
Speaker 1: episode can be found in the description box.
