1 Samuel 6–7 shows that God’s holiness cannot be ignored, but it also shows that God is willing to restore his people when they truly return to him. These chapters move from Philistine panic, to Israel’s fear, to a real call for repentance and renewal. The message is clear: God is holy, God is powerful, and God will not be treated casually—but he is also merciful to those who turn back to him with their whole heart.
