- 0:03This is Living Waters of Grace, the teaching ministry of Clark
- 0:08Wofford, senior pastor of Calvary Chapel of Westmoreland,
- 0:12County of Greensburg, PA. Now here's Pastor Clark as he
- 0:16continues teaching through God's Word.
- 0:37He came to save us from being influenced and controlled by the
- 0:41passions of the fallen nature. And if you know down deep
- 0:46inside, man, I know what I should do.
- 0:48But I can't help myself, Clark. I just can't get out of this.
- 0:51I understand you can't. I've been there.
- 0:53The only way you can get out is to get saved.
- 0:56And when you get saved, God lifts you out of that control of
- 1:00the flesh and puts a spirit in you.
- 1:02And now the Holy Spirit enables you to overcome all the things
- 1:06that are going on in your life that are destructive.
- 1:09Have you hit a point in your life where you feel like no
- 1:12matter how hard you try, you can't kick your sinful habits?
- 1:16Every self help book you've read, every new hobby you've
- 1:20taken up, every bit of counseling you sought out, and
- 1:22still nothing works. At least not long term.
- 1:27Today, Pastor Clark teaches you that there is one important part
- 1:31missing from the change that you're striving to make.
- 1:34Without Jesus, sin will continue to wage war against you, and you
- 1:40will continue to fall victim to it.
- 1:43Now here's Pastor Clark in Revelation Chapter 19 with
- 1:47today's edition of Living Waters of Grace.
- 1:50Revelation 19, verse 17 Then I saw an Angel standing in the
- 1:55sun, and he cried with a loud voice, saying, To all the birds
- 1:58that fly in the midst of heaven, come and gather together for the
- 2:02supper of the great God, that you may eat.
- 2:05The flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty
- 2:08men, the flesh of horses and those who sit on them, and the
- 2:11flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great.
- 2:16And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and the armies
- 2:18gathered together to make war against him who sat on the horse
- 2:22and against his army. And then the beast was captured,
- 2:25and with him the false prophet, who worked signs in his
- 2:28presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of
- 2:32the beast, and those who worshipped his image.
- 2:35These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with
- 2:38rim stone, and the rest were killed with the sword which
- 2:41proceeded from the mouth of him who sat on a horse.
- 2:45And the birds were filled with their flesh.
- 2:49This is probably one of the most horrendous declarations of the
- 2:53judgement of God on the face of the earth outside of some of the
- 2:58chapters in the Old Testament we read when God went into certain
- 3:02communities and wiped out every living thing because of the
- 3:05decadence and the sinfulness of the people.
- 3:08And I want you to understand today that God is love.
- 3:11And you might read this and say, how in the world can God be
- 3:13loved and do something like this?
- 3:15And we'll get to that in a moment.
- 3:17So we're just going to go through this verse by verse and
- 3:20trust that it'll come alive and make sense to you.
- 3:22As we look at it now, we see in 17 and 18 this particular Angel
- 3:27that is standing in the midst of the sun.
- 3:29His brightness is so powerful. The glory of God is all over
- 3:34this Angel. He's a representative, a
- 3:37spokesman for the glory of God and the purposes of God, and
- 3:41he's the one that's declaring what is going to come to pass.
- 3:44Now, the week before we studied about Christ, and he's the one
- 3:48that is on this horse leading the armies of heaven to the
- 3:53earth to bring destruction upon all those who are living on the
- 3:57earth at this current time that are enemies of God.
- 4:01People who hate God, who have made a decision in their minds
- 4:03that they don't want to live for God.
- 4:05They don't want to have anything to do with God.
- 4:07They've already accepted the mark of the beast, which is the
- 4:10mark that is the Insignia on the heart of the unbeliever
- 4:14signifying that they are enemies of God and they hate the Kingdom
- 4:19of God and they're enemies of Jesus Christ.
- 4:23And so he's saying to all these birds that fly to prepare for
- 4:28this great slaughter, which is called Armageddon.
- 4:32Some of the movies you guys have seen can't come close to their
- 4:35horrendous destruction of what's going to come upon the earth at
- 4:39this time. Birds of the air, birds that
- 4:42fly. Some people feel there's a
- 4:44symbolic meaning behind some of these terms because of the
- 4:48technology that we are living in these days.
- 4:51I've sort of like to stay with the little rendering unless
- 4:54something would cause me to the sensors.
- 4:56There's something beyond that. But I I know that the Hawks, if
- 5:00you see them fly around and they find something dead, doesn't
- 5:03matter how small or how big it is.
- 5:05Deer, whatever, they get down and they pick at it and eat it
- 5:08until there's nothing left, right?
- 5:10They tear all the meat off the bones and there's absolutely
- 5:14nothing left of the flesh. And this is what's going to
- 5:17happen. And it says this is going to
- 5:19occur, the flesh of kings and the flesh of captains.
- 5:22So we see all the important human beings on the face of the
- 5:26earth. There is no discrimination with
- 5:28God's judgement. He'll deal with the small and
- 5:32the great, the famous and the those who aren't famous and the
- 5:37representing. This flesh is the life.
- 5:39As I read in Romans chapter 8, it's lived in sin against God.
- 5:45The flesh is an enemy of God. And I want you to flip over to
- 5:50Galatians 5 for a minute so we can reflect on this a little bit
- 5:53more. There's nothing evil about the
- 5:56skin on my bones or yours. This is the tent that God's
- 5:59given us. What's evil is the capacity of
- 6:02the heart to use this body that God has created against his will
- 6:07and his purposes and his truth and his word When we take this
- 6:11physical body and use it for things that God has not intended
- 6:14it to be used for. Now we're going to look at
- 6:17Galatians 5 and it's going to talk about this war that we all
- 6:20struggle with the difference between the the flesh and the
- 6:23spirit. And it says in verse 16 of
- 6:26Galatians 5I say, then walk in the spirit and you shall not
- 6:29fulfill the lust of the flesh. Now, before we're Christians,
- 6:34and some of you were adults here, some of you were younger.
- 6:36So depending on how long you've lived on the earth, you, you've
- 6:39experienced different things. But I can remember a time in my
- 6:42life where this flesh, this desire, this wicked heart did
- 6:47all kind of bad stuff. And it didn't bother me.
- 6:51I mean, my conscience told me it was wrong, but I blew my
- 6:53conscience off. I did what I wanted to do.
- 6:57I was a child of God's wrath. I wasn't a child of God at one
- 7:01time. And so I just had a propensity
- 7:04to do evil and wicked things. I did many of them in my life.
- 7:09And the wages of sin, the Bible says is death.
- 7:12And so if it wasn't for the grace of God working in my life
- 7:15and turning my heart toward him and and saving me and changing
- 7:18me, I would be hell bound as we speak.
- 7:22So we're either walking in the power of the Holy Spirit or
- 7:25we're walking in the flesh. Now that says the flesh lusts
- 7:28against the Spirit means that wars against God's will, and
- 7:32it's contrary to God's will that you don't do the things that you
- 7:36would like to do. So if you're here today and you
- 7:38don't know God and the Holy Spirit isn't in you, you're just
- 7:41going to do what your flesh tells you.
- 7:44If it tells you to get drunk, you're just going to get drunk.
- 7:48If it tells you to be immoral, you're going to be immoral.
- 7:52If it tells you to steal or to be greedy or to be vindictive or
- 7:56vengeful or hateful or bitter or angry or drug addicted, it's
- 8:01just going to control you. It's like a bondage.
- 8:03It's like, that's why we need to be saved.
- 8:05Christmas Eve, I said Jesus came to save his people from their
- 8:08sins. He came to save us from being
- 8:11influenced and controlled by the passions of the fallen nature.
- 8:16And if you know down deep inside, man, I know what I
- 8:20should do, but I can't help myself, Clark.
- 8:22I just can't get out of this. I understand you can't.
- 8:24I've been there. The only way you can get out is
- 8:27to get saved. And when you get saved, God
- 8:29lifts you out of that control of the flesh and puts a spirit in
- 8:33you. And now the Holy Spirit enables
- 8:35you to overcome all the things that are going on in your life
- 8:39that are destructive. It says if you're led by the
- 8:42Spirit, you're not under the law.
- 8:44Meaning if you're without Christ today, you're going to be judged
- 8:48at the judgment seat, the great white throne, the book will be
- 8:52open and you'll stand there saying, well, I was good, I help
- 8:55people, I did this, I did that. I didn't do this.
- 8:58I didn't do that. Well, God's law is going to say,
- 9:00well, did you do this? Did you hate?
- 9:03Did you honor God above all things?
- 9:06Did you commit adultery? And some of us might sit here
- 9:09and say, well, I never did that. So I'm pretty good.
- 9:11Well, the Bible says if you looked upon a woman with lust,
- 9:14you've already committed adultery.
- 9:16How many men here have looked at woman with lust?
- 9:17Raise your hand. Every one of us.
- 9:21So we've broken that law, right? We've broken that law, all of
- 9:25us. So we're guilty.
- 9:27We don't have a chance. We don't have a way out.
- 9:29The books are open and God says you did this.
- 9:31And the Bible says if you've offended God in one, you've
- 9:34offended him in all. So you're guilty of everything
- 9:38that the Bible says is sinful. But if you're a letter of the
- 9:41Spirit, you're not under the law.
- 9:42What a relief. We'll stand at the judgment and
- 9:46we're accepted into the heavenly Kingdom because we're part of
- 9:52his family now. The Holy Spirit dwells in US.
- 9:55The Holy Spirit lives in us. We're not habitually sinning
- 9:58anymore, and that doesn't mean we still don't sin.
- 10:00We're tempted and, and as Christians we still fail, all of
- 10:03us. But when we fail, we want to
- 10:05repent, we want to get right with God.
- 10:07We just don't say, well, that's just the way I am, no big deal.
- 10:10Our conscience bothers us and the Holy Spirit corrects us and
- 10:13brings us back into a place of obedience.
- 10:15So then the more we grow in the word and the more we know the
- 10:19Lord, the more we walk according to the Spirit.
- 10:22We're not interested in following the following desires
- 10:24anymore. They're not appealing to us.
- 10:26There's no, there's no interest. The desires have been lifted out
- 10:30of our hearts. What are the works of the flesh?
- 10:32What does a person do if they're under the influence of their
- 10:35sinful nature? What says it's evident?
- 10:38Adultery, Fornication. One time someone came to me for
- 10:41counseling a guy and his girlfriend, and they said, we're
- 10:44in the Bible. Does it say, yeah, you can't
- 10:46have sex before marriage? And I said, and I read him and
- 10:49he said, well, what's that mean? Well, fornication means any kind
- 10:51of sexual relationship outside the confines of marriage.
- 10:55Uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery.
- 11:00That word for sorcery has also been translated pharmakeia in
- 11:04the Bible, meaning any kind of influence of messing around with
- 11:07any kind of drugs, marijuana or whatever it is, hatred,
- 11:10contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish
- 11:14ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders,
- 11:17drunkenness, partying around rubber leaves, the like of which
- 11:20I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, and
- 11:24this is the Apostle Paul warning this church in Galatia, and you
- 11:28might want to underline this in your Bible, that those who
- 11:31practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God.
- 11:34So if this is your lifestyle, this is how you're living,
- 11:37doesn't matter what you say you believe Christ isn't your
- 11:40savior, He isn't your Lord. If you're living this way, you
- 11:44won't get into the Kingdom of heaven.
- 11:47Now, if you're here today and you know you're living that way,
- 11:50the Lord would want you to repent.
- 11:52He would want you to come clean with him and say I'm in trouble,
- 11:55Lord, and I know it and I can't leave here today unless you save
- 11:59me. Can't leave here today unless
- 12:02you save me, Lord, because I know today that if I continue in
- 12:06this way of life, I'm going to end up in hell and I don't want
- 12:09to be there. And God doesn't want you to be
- 12:11there. He loves you, for God so loved
- 12:13this world that he gave his only begotten Son.
- 12:15Why did he give Him? So that we wouldn't have to go
- 12:18to hell, that we could be forgiven, and that we could
- 12:21become descendants of God and have nature like God and live
- 12:25like God, and be sons and daughters of God and do godly
- 12:28things, not ungodly things. And it says those who are Christ
- 12:32have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
- 12:35It means they don't have the ability to influence and control
- 12:39you anymore. If you really belong to Christ,
- 12:41the Lord has overcome in your life through the power of the
- 12:44Holy Spirit that you don't have to submit to the temptation and
- 12:48the desire. Some people say, well, I have a
- 12:50drinking problem. Well, if you have Christ in your
- 12:52heart, you're not going to have a drinking problem anymore.
- 12:54You're just not going to drink. You're not going to want to.
- 12:56The Holy Spirit's going to give you the ability and the power
- 12:59not to drink. But if you say, I've asked, but
- 13:02he won't help me and I keep doing it and I, well, there's
- 13:04something wrong there. Because if the Spirit of God is
- 13:08in you, you're not going to have to be under the control of that
- 13:12influence anymore. And that's in every area of our
- 13:16life. Some men struggle with
- 13:18pornography, or some people struggle with drug addiction, or
- 13:21some people struggle with being lazy on their job or bitter or
- 13:26whatever it is. You don't have to allow any of
- 13:28this sinful nature to control you anymore.
- 13:31So that's what's great about being a Christian.
- 13:32You're free from sin. You don't have to sin anymore,
- 13:36and you actually have the capacity to not sin.
- 13:39I mean, when that begins to sink in and you realize that you're
- 13:43free, it's incredible. Yeah.
- 13:46It makes you a whole new creation, a whole different type
- 13:49of human being. Because before crisis in our
- 13:51life, all we do is just keep doing the stuff that we know we
- 13:54shouldn't do. It's it comes naturally because
- 13:56we're all sinful people. But when Christ comes into our
- 13:59life and changes us, all of a sudden we have the ability and
- 14:01the power to make choices now and say, I'm not going to live
- 14:04this way anymore. I'm not going to do this
- 14:06anymore. We're going to have to maybe
- 14:08talk to some people and say, guess what?
- 14:10My relationship with you is ended as of now.
- 14:12And they'll say, well, why? Because I can't live this way
- 14:15anymore. I can't sleep around anymore.
- 14:19I can't do this anymore because God lives in me now.
- 14:22They'll probably look at you like you're nuts.
- 14:25That's OK. They might ask you, what do you
- 14:27mean God's in you? And then you can tell them
- 14:28what's happened to you. And then perhaps God will save
- 14:33them as well. And it says if we live in the
- 14:36Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
- 14:40So that's the major difference between this teaching and
- 14:45revelation regarding why is he going to destroy all this flesh
- 14:48on the earth at this time? Because these people are enemies
- 14:51of God. They're walking this way,
- 14:53they're living this way, and they don't care.
- 14:56They've heard the truth. They know the truth from the
- 14:58standpoint of it being communicated to them.
- 15:01But they're the kind of people that refuse to submit and
- 15:04repent. And perhaps you're here today in
- 15:07that camp, you're refusing to repent.
- 15:09Well, God wants you to know today that if you refuse to
- 15:13repent, this is what you're going to face.
- 15:16And even worse, if you don't end up in this situation, you die
- 15:19before this event occurs. You're going to be in hell
- 15:21forever. That's a cold hard fact, but
- 15:24it's the truth. You're going to be in hell
- 15:26forever and ever. Philippians chapter 3 verse 3
- 15:29says we're not to have any confidence in the flesh, not any
- 15:32confidence in our own self ability.
- 15:34And this, this is important for Christians today in our jobs, in
- 15:38our marriages and our raising of our children and our ministries,
- 15:42whatever. If we depend upon our own
- 15:45abilities and we're trusting in our own wisdom, we're having
- 15:49confidence in our fallen nature, which will do nothing but mess
- 15:53things up. We're not to have any confidence
- 15:56in human ability. The world today teaches us about
- 15:59self esteem. To be confident, feel good about
- 16:02yourself, you have to love yourself.
- 16:05Well, the Bible says we already do love ourselves.
- 16:07I mean that's a that's a given because all our focus is most of
- 16:10the time on ourselves. So it proves that we have this
- 16:13insatiable love for self that we have to constantly deny.
- 16:17Jesus says if any man will follow me, let him deny himself.
- 16:20That's the hardest thing to do as a human being, to deny
- 16:23yourself will. But it says not to have any
- 16:25confidence in your human ability.
- 16:28It says Second Corinthians chapter 3, verse 5.
- 16:30Not that we're sufficient of ourselves to think of anything
- 16:33as being from ourselves, but our sufficiencies from God.
- 16:37In other words, I receive my esteem from God.
- 16:39Where God says you're beloved, you're accepted in the beloved,
- 16:43holy and without blame. That should make all of us feel
- 16:46fantastic. It's not what you think of me or
- 16:50what I think of you or what we think of one another.
- 16:52I mean, it's nice to think good things about you.
- 16:54Don't want anybody to hate you or not like you or disrespect
- 16:56you. But it really shouldn't bother
- 16:58us because God says He loves you with an everlasting love.
- 17:02He cares about you, He's for you and He's not against you.
- 17:05He has plans for you in the days ahead, plans of hope and plans
- 17:10of a future. John 663 says it is a spirit who
- 17:15gives life. The flesh profits nothing.
- 17:18If I'm up here trying to motivate you today and my own
- 17:21ability and my own passion and my own desire as a human being
- 17:26and trying to persuade or cause your mind to think differently
- 17:29through my own strength, my own ability, it'll profit nothing.
- 17:33The words that I speak to your Spirit and they are life.
- 17:38And that's my prayer for us as a ministry, that it's a spirit
- 17:41that's speaking. It's not the flesh, it's not
- 17:44human ability, it's not the wisdom of man, but it's the
- 17:48wisdom of God. First Corinthians chapter one,
- 17:51verse 2631. If you flip over there for a
- 17:54minute and if you pick anything up as we're studying together,
- 17:57pick up the difference between a life that's directed by the
- 18:00Spirit and a life that's directed by pride of fallen
- 18:05natures. Verse 26 for you see your
- 18:09calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh
- 18:14human ability, right fallen nature, not many mighty not many
- 18:17know Bo are called but God has chosen the foolish things of the
- 18:21world to put the shame the wise and God has chosen the weak
- 18:24things of the world to put the shame.
- 18:26The things which are mighty and base things of the world and
- 18:29things which are despise God hath chosen, and the things
- 18:31which are not to bring to nothing.
- 18:33The things that are that no flesh should glory in his
- 18:37presence, that no flesh should glory in his presence.
- 18:42But of him are you in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom
- 18:45from God and righteousness and sanctification and redemption
- 18:50that it is written. He who glories, let him glory in
- 18:54the Lord. And so we're here today as
- 18:57brothers and sisters for the most point.
- 18:59Most of us are Christians here today, and God is calling all of
- 19:04you for some purpose. And he's not looking for people
- 19:09who are highly educated. Of course, he can use highly
- 19:12educated people, but he doesn't have any kind of agenda.
- 19:15When he chooses people to serve him, He chooses people who the
- 19:21world might say many times are losers.
- 19:23He chooses the outcast, the downcast.
- 19:26He chooses the insecure. He chooses people who know down
- 19:31deep inside I can't do this, Lord.
- 19:34He chooses people who have failed.
- 19:37And so he looks out in an audience and he says not many
- 19:41wise out there today, not to put anybody down.
- 19:44Not many noble, not many mighty are called, but God has chosen
- 19:48the weak and the foolish things of this world.
- 19:52How many of us are weak and foolish here today?
- 19:55That's all of us. So he's calling all of us to
- 19:58serve him. And you might say, well, I can't
- 20:01do this. I'm not as good as him or I'm
- 20:02not as good as her. That's sinful.
- 20:05When God says he's choosing you because you're weak and foolish,
- 20:08just admit it, Lord. I'm not going to compare myself
- 20:10with anybody else. I'm what you tell me in your
- 20:13word, I am. I'm weak, I'm foolish, but I
- 20:17want to surrender this body to you for you to use for your
- 20:21glory. And as God begins to use you and
- 20:23work in your life and bless people through your life, you
- 20:28will know it has nothing to do with you.
- 20:30And that's why it says there in 31.
- 20:34He who glories, let him glory in the Lord.
- 20:37I remember when we were training to be missionaries and my sister
- 20:40in law's here today, she was with the new trials mission in
- 20:43Africa with in Senegal and boot camp was tough.
- 20:46It was the second phase of the training.
- 20:48We went to Bible college. We got all that great head
- 20:49knowledge, right. We had to memorize the book of
- 20:51Ephesians. We thought we were really it
- 20:53right? I mean, we really thought we had
- 20:55it together. We had a handle on the word and
- 20:57all that. We go to the boot camp and we're
- 21:00around these deep Christians that are training us and, and
- 21:03they're telling us why we got to get from what's in here down to
- 21:06here because we're all in. There is a bunch of immature,
- 21:10proud, self willed people that are claiming that they're being
- 21:14called by God to be missionaries.
- 21:15And, and the truth was that, yeah, God's calling us to serve
- 21:19him, but there's work that needs to be done in our life before we
- 21:21can serve him. They had a Tuesday night
- 21:23meeting. It was an open night meeting
- 21:25where you'd all sit here like this and they do worship.
- 21:28And then you'd wait on the Holy Spirit to speak.
- 21:31And sometimes 10 minutes, nothing's happening.
- 21:34And they'd play some more music. And then someone would come up
- 21:36and they'd share the words, you know, and they'd break it.
- 21:39And they'd maybe 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15, and whatever the
- 21:42Holy Spirit's leading them. And, and they would be speaking
- 21:44to the body. And then they'd sit down and
- 21:46someone else would get up and share.
- 21:47And maybe a woman would come up and sing a song or read a Psalm
- 21:51or it was powerful and dine deep inside.
- 21:54As you're sitting there, you know God wants to use you too,
- 21:57that you're afraid because you're thinking, what if I look
- 21:59like a fool? What if I say something that's
- 22:01stupid? What if I'm not correct?
- 22:03Or what if I blow it or whatever, you know, and God's
- 22:07like that, your heart's thumping.
- 22:08You know you're supposed to say something.
- 22:09You don't. You've all had those
- 22:10opportunities when you're in a meeting and you know God wants
- 22:12to use you at Wednesday night study to say something, to pray
- 22:15or whatever, step out in faith. And it's scary.
- 22:18And I remember the first time I went up there and I thought I
- 22:20had something to say When I got up there, I looked in the Bible,
- 22:22I realized I had nothing to say. It was terrible.
- 22:25I got up there and I'm supposed to say something.
- 22:27I have absolutely nothing to say and I could have read something
- 22:30here, but the Lord whisper in my ear, you're a phony clerk.
- 22:32You're a phony. If we got to deal with you're
- 22:34going to be humble and you're going to be and I'm like
- 22:36freaking out and at the back of the wall.
- 22:38It says this first to bring to naughty the things that are that
- 22:42no flesh should glory in his presence.
- 22:47It says in First Corinthians 1550, flesh and blood cannot
- 22:52inherit the Kingdom of God. The part of us we war against
- 22:57will not be in heaven. That's good news.
- 23:00The fallen sinful nature will not follow us into the Kingdom
- 23:04of God. When we get into the Kingdom of
- 23:06God, the former things that pass away, there'll be no more pride,
- 23:10there'll be no more selfish ambition.
- 23:13There'll be no more anger or hatred or unforgiveness or
- 23:15bitterness or lust. All that stuff is going to be
- 23:19gone, the unyielded self life that we still struggle with and
- 23:23as a pastor I have to constantly bring my will under subjection
- 23:27of the Lord and say Lord not my will but your will be done in
- 23:30every area of my life. That unyielded tendency in our
- 23:34lives that fights against us in this body, the flesh, to try to
- 23:42make excuses for sin or attitude won't be in the Kingdom of
- 23:46heaven. In the Book of Revelation,
- 23:50Pastor Clark is taking us through all kinds of events and
- 23:53happenings that are predicted for the future.
- 23:57But for those who believe and follow Jesus, there's much to
- 24:00look forward to in heaven with Jesus.
- 24:03However, for those who are here on earth during the Tribulation,
- 24:07there's all kinds of chaos that will unfold.
- 24:11The Bible talks about an Antichrist, a false prophet, and
- 24:15of course that evil enemy Satan. You see how there are such
- 24:20clever attempts for the enemy to disguise himself as God and even
- 24:24the Trinity, the true Savior of the world is God and how he
- 24:28comes to rescue through his triune nature, God the Father,
- 24:33Jesus the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
- 24:37Just like Satan tried to take over for God in heaven and was
- 24:40cast out, Satan will try to convince people on earth that he
- 24:45is the triune God to be worshipped instead of the
- 24:48legitimate God in heaven. It's an attempt, and although he
- 24:52will capture plenty in his schemes, he will not win.
- 24:57The true God wins, and Revelation unpacks how that will
- 25:01all happen in detail. Be encouraged because there's a
- 25:05way out for all of this madness that will ensue on this earth.
- 25:09But you don't want to wait indefinitely to make that
- 25:12decision about Jesus. We don't know when the church
- 25:17will be raptured, and you want to be ready to be with Jesus.
