  Speaker 1: About the word of God. You know, we have so

  Speaker 1: many things sometimes that are happening in our lives. Scenes

  Speaker 1: we're seeing in our nation, things we're seeing on our
• 0:17
  Speaker 1: streets and our cities, things that are happening in our
• 0:20
  Speaker 1: family that will cause us to be paralyzed sometimes with fear.

  Speaker 1: But I think about Matthew fourteen twenty seven. It says,

  Speaker 1: but Jesus immediately said to them take courage. It is
• 0:33
  Speaker 1: I don't be afraid. In Matthew fourteen, the disciples were terrified.

  Speaker 1: They saw Jesus walking under the water during the storm,
• 0:43
  Speaker 1: the moment when fear seemed overwhelming. And in life, sometimes
• 0:50
  Speaker 1: fear for us real life causes.

  Speaker 2: Us to fear.

  Speaker 1: So today I want to pray about that Father, God,

  Speaker 1: in the name of Jesus, Thank you for your word,

  Speaker 1: your word that reminds us we are never alone, even God,

  Speaker 1: when fear rises around us.

  Speaker 2: Lord, you see the storms in our lives.

  Speaker 1: The illnesses we can't control, the financial burdens, we can't lift,

  Speaker 1: the broken relationships that we just can't mend, the uncertainties

  Speaker 1: of our futures and the battles we fight inside our minds. God,

  Speaker 1: at times, if we will just be honest, we are
• 1:34
  Speaker 1: just overwhelmed by the ways of anxiety, rejection, loneliness, failure,

  Speaker 1: and then sometimes God, change can bring on fear. But

  Speaker 1: today God, we hold onto your voice above all the noise.

  Speaker 2: Take courage, it is I don't be afraid. You are

  Speaker 2: the God who walks on the water.

  Speaker 1: You are the Savior who steps into our storms. You

  Speaker 1: are the peace that come ass fear to flee. God,

  Speaker 1: teach our hearts to recognize you even when it's dark,

  Speaker 1: even when things are uncertain.

  Speaker 2: Give us courage to trust you that you are.

  Speaker 1: Closer than the winds that seem to shake us. Help

  Speaker 1: us to keep our eyes fixed on You, not on

  Speaker 1: the waves, not on our circumstances. God, Today we surrender

  Speaker 1: every concern, every care, every fear to you, those that

  Speaker 1: are known, and sometimes God, just simply the fear of

  Speaker 1: the unknown.

  Speaker 2: God, we stand firm today
