- 0:00Hello, and welcome to episode 201 of the All Systems Go Sports
- 0:06Betting podcast powered by Rhythm.
- 0:09I'm your host, Josh Applebaum. What's going on everyone?
- 0:17Happy Monday, a new week begins. We got a lot to catch up on to
- 0:21talk about the weekend and of course turn the page for a great
- 0:25sports betting night here for tonight with a lot of big games
- 0:27on tap, including the biggest of them all Ohio State Notre Dame
- 0:32national championship game. I got a play for you.
- 0:35I got a side. So I'll give you my my breakdown
- 0:38here and what I will be sweating in the championship game as well
- 0:40as a lean when it comes to the total.
- 0:42But then also I'm going to have a play for you in college hoops.
- 0:45We have a buy low over opportunity.
- 0:47A total fell quite a bit and we got a good rhythm and Ken palm
- 0:51edge to play the over and then also a play in the NHL with a
- 0:54ton of system matches here in their favor.
- 0:57So a three pack overall. Let's see if we can find our way
- 0:59to scratch and call and get at least two out of three and eek
- 1:02out a winning night now looking back toward the weekend guys
- 1:05hope everyone had a great weekend.
- 1:06Want to thank everyone for tuning into the special Saturday
- 1:10sweats. Normally it was Sunday sweats
- 1:12all season long, but we had Saturday sweats, which was a lot
- 1:16of fun on Saturday. Myself and James Santor breaking
- 1:19down games, talking about all the all the big playoff games
- 1:23over the weekend. But what I liked is that there
- 1:26were some dogs barking over the weekend.
- 1:28Guys ended up playing the Commanders plus 9 1/2 that
- 1:31closed 8 1/2. So some good closing line value.
- 1:34And wouldn't you know it, not only do the Commanders cover the
- 1:37number, but they win the game. So I was pretty fantastic to see
- 1:41covering that with Jay and Daniels, the Rams plus 6 1/2 + 7
- 1:45backdoor cover. That was a beautiful one to see.
- 1:48There was a miss kick at one point, Saquan RIP ones, rips one
- 1:51off, but luckily they were able to score late and cash that
- 1:54ticket. And then also the Texans, Thank
- 1:57you to the Lord. There was a late safety that
- 2:00saved us There I was. I was going to cry into my into
- 2:03my drink because Kyuri Fairbain, the the kicker, who was by the
- 2:07way from I believe it's from Hawaii, so probably didn't like
- 2:10the the snow in the cold weather in that game.
- 2:13But Texans, they're down 11, got the 9 1/2, saw that thing go
- 2:18from an 11 point win to a nine point win.
- 2:20And then you go to Twitter and everyone says, oh, the NFL is
- 2:23rigged. But I would just say in terms of
- 2:25that Texans play favorites early, dogs late, getting the
- 2:28getting the best of the number, it is so critical, so important
- 2:31because if you remember, you have the Kansas City Chiefs open
- 2:34that game -8 1/2. They closed -9 1/2.
- 2:37So again, if you had bet the favorite early with KC, you
- 2:40cover, you know that that last, that last second safety didn't
- 2:43hurt you. But if you were again, savvy and
- 2:46waited it out and I think that's so important in sports betting.
- 2:48We all want to put in our bets and get ready and sweat them.
- 2:50But you got to be patient. You got to look out for the best
- 2:53price. And I'm glad that when I put it
- 2:55in the app and I want to thank everyone for following all the
- 2:58plays in the Juice Reel app for all systems.
- 3:00Gopod, you can always see the best bets there.
- 3:03But we're able to cash with Texans plus 9 1/2.
- 3:06The disappointing ones were the Ravens.
- 3:09I took the Ravens on the money line.
- 3:11I like that dog to fave line move.
- 3:13I like the fact that they end up closing pretty much 1 1/2.
- 3:16Good bet splits line move. Rhythm told me it was a 2 point
- 3:19edge there for Baltimore. Unfortunately, Mr. Andrews
- 3:23there, Mr. Butterfingers fumble the ball, drop the two point
- 3:27conversion. You know, let's let's give a
- 3:29golf clap to the bills fans. They deserve that win.
- 3:31But I was rooting for Baltimore there and then John Mahal Hill
- 3:34in the UFCI did not open up the wall and pay for the
- 3:37pay-per-view. But I did see that unfortunately
- 3:39our play in the UFC ended up losing with that sharp line
- 3:42move. But either way, guys,
- 3:43commanders, Rams, Texans, not a bad weekend for dogs in the
- 3:47postseason. So turning the page for today,
- 3:50guys, let's get after it. I want to start off with
- 3:52obviously the big one here, we got the national championship
- 3:55game. And by the way, once you do our
- 3:57three breakdowns for today, I do want to talk a little bit about
- 3:59early thoughts on the AFC and NFC championship games because
- 4:03lines are out, lines are moving. We got system matches, we got
- 4:06interesting bet splits. So stay tuned for some early
- 4:08thoughts for Eagles and Commanders as well as Buffalo
- 4:13and Kansas City. Now the national championship
- 4:16game tonight, the natty, the big one.
- 4:17Let's set the stage. Let's talk about how this line
- 4:20has evolved. Let's try to try to locate where
- 4:23the smart money's AT. And I'm going to give you my
- 4:25play for the game. So national championship game,
- 4:27last college football game of the year until we have the long
- 4:30wait until college football returns next summer, late
- 4:34summer, early, early fall. But anyway, this game will be
- 4:37played at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, GA, home of
- 4:40the Falcons. Now Ohio State comes in 13 and
- 4:43two. Remember, they're the eighth
- 4:44seed. Just took down Texas 28 to 14
- 4:47and the semis. They cover it as a six and half
- 4:49point neutral site favorite. I got still a PTSD from Mr. Mr.
- 4:53Brilliant Sarkeesian pitching the ball backwards instead of
- 4:56running it up the middle and scoring with Arch Manning.
- 4:59You can tell I did. I never forget about my losses.
- 5:01You forget about your wins unless they're huge wins.
- 5:03You never forget about your losses.
- 5:05But anyway, Notre Dame 14 and one seven seed just edge Penn
- 5:08State. Luckily they did cover for me in
- 5:10that 1/27/24 in the semis. They won out right as a 1 1/2
- 5:14point neutral site dog. So what do we see across the
- 5:17market here? Well, this game opened Ohio
- 5:20State listed as a nine and a half point neutral site
- 5:22favorite. Now the first thing I was about
- 5:25this game, which kind of got me a little disappointed is that
- 5:28the public split down the middle.
- 5:29So as a contrarian better, you know, I would love to see one
- 5:32team getting 80%, the other team getting 20%.
- 5:34That would automatically, you know, get my juices flowing as
- 5:37they bet against the public. data-driven better because I
- 5:40want to bet against the drunk guys at the bar.
- 5:42Now you pull the drunk guys at the bar, they don't know where
- 5:44to go. Here.
- 5:45It's basically 5050 down the middle.
- 5:47So if you look at DraftKings, 52% of spread bets are laying
- 5:51the points of Ohio State. You look at Circa Sharp Book out
- 5:54in Vegas, 55% of spread bets are taking the points with Notre
- 5:58Dame. So all intents and purposes, we
- 6:00have no contrarian value. We got a public that is
- 6:03undecided but one. What's one thing that we like to
- 6:05look toward when it's a 5050 bet split is look for a line move.
- 6:10If you can't add any contrarian value because the tickets are
- 6:13too, you know, right down the middle, then what is the line
- 6:15doing? Well, the line has moved toward
- 6:17the Irish. Remember Ohio State open as a
- 6:20nine and a half point favorite. The line is down to 8 1/2 now.
- 6:23Most shops are 8 1/2. I do see one book right now at
- 6:269, which would be ESPN bet between now and kick off.
- 6:29This is a 730 game. So we'll see how this thing
- 6:31develops. Think it is important to see,
- 6:33hey, do we creep back down to not do to 8?
- 6:35Does it rise back up to 9? You are starting to see maybe a
- 6:38little bit of Ohio State money come in here.
- 6:40So I do see one book at 9. A couple books are juiced up.
- 6:43But what I do like in the spot would be the 5050 line move.
- 6:47Even if this thing gets up to 9, remember open 9 1/2.
- 6:50So from the open to current, this line has never gotten to 10
- 6:54and in fact it's moved down toward Notre Dame.
- 6:56So 5050. Theoretically a line shouldn't
- 6:58move at all. Bets are split.
- 7:00You know, the odds makers have balanced action.
- 7:02No need to adjust the price yet. You're seeing this line at least
- 7:05open to current move toward Notre Dame.
- 7:08If you continue to look at this spot for Notre Dame, I'm going
- 7:10to take the points. I'm going Irish plus 8 1/2.
- 7:13I bet this thing earlier today. Again, you can shop around and
- 7:15maybe find a nine here, but there's a couple things I like
- 7:18in Notre Dame's favor. Number one is the 5050 line.
- 7:21Move 9 1/2 down to 8 1/2 or 9 at this point.
- 7:25The other angle here would be a correlative betting value play.
- 7:29You are getting a Notre Dame squad getting 8 1/2 points and a
- 7:32relatively low total game 45 and a half, 45 even.
- 7:36We'll get to the total here in a second because I do lean under a
- 7:38bit. But when you think about it, you
- 7:40know, unless I Ohio State rolls and pretty much pitches a shut
- 7:44out if the total, if the point combined total points are going
- 7:47to be low 40s, it's going to be a little bit difficult to cover
- 7:50that big number that 8 1/2. Like if Ohio State was -2 1/2,
- 7:54you know, then it wouldn't be much of much of an issue.
- 7:56But with points at a premium and we'll get to these great
- 7:59defenses here in a second, which is part of the the lean for me
- 8:01toward the under. I think when you're looking at a
- 8:04dog, if you're playing a dog, again, big points, low total,
- 8:08always a good thing because the few amount of expected point
- 8:11score makes it harder for the favorite to cover.
- 8:13But also you got to think about, you know, if you're playing a
- 8:15dog in a spread sport, what's the path to covering?
- 8:19To me, it's it's either you're good on both sides of the ball
- 8:22and you just play well and you cover the number or you got a
- 8:24really good offense. You can put up points, keep pace
- 8:26back to our cover. Or you have a really good
- 8:28defense, you keep the other team down a bit, which makes it
- 8:31harder for them to cover the number.
- 8:33So that correlative betting value of Notre Dame.
- 8:35We also have Notre Dame, nothing huge here, but a one day rest
- 8:38advantage. They last played on January 9th.
- 8:41Ohio State played on January 10th.
- 8:42So both teams are rested, but one extra day for Notre Dame and
- 8:47here's the big system match that I'm going to put some stock
- 8:49into. When you get to the national
- 8:51championship game, the obviously the the Super Bowl of college
- 8:55football line moves toward dogs have been very profitable.
- 8:59Now it's relatively small sample, but over the last decade
- 9:02there have been 5 instances in the championship game where the
- 9:05line move toward the dog. So maybe it's the dog +7 down to
- 9:10plus 6 1/2 + 3 down to plus 2 1/2.
- 9:13In this case you have a full point move which would be 9 1/2
- 9:17down to 8 1/2. This system only requires 1/2
- 9:20point line move, so as long as the line moves in your direction
- 9:23toward the dog, those teams are four and one against the spread
- 9:26since 2015. So add it all up here guys.
- 9:305050, no contrarian, but the line went to Notre Dame.
- 9:33Correlative betting dog, low total rest advantage.
- 9:37Good system match. I like Marcus Freeman hopefully
- 9:39to devise a game plan here where maybe they don't win the game,
- 9:42but can you keep it close? Can you lose by 8 or less?
- 9:45I'm taking I'm taking the Irish and the points and I would
- 9:48mention our friends at rhythm. They have basically right, right
- 9:51on the number 8.4. So not much of an edge there.
- 9:54Now in terms of the total, if you like the under, I really
- 9:56can't argue with you. It open as high as 46 1/2.
- 10:00It's down to 45 1/2 or even seeing some books can now get
- 10:03down to 45. So it's been pretty consistent
- 10:05one way move downward bet splits look pretty good on the under at
- 10:09DraftKings. 31% bets 49% dollars on the under, and at Circa, 38%
- 10:16bets 54% dollars on the under. So both books, the big public
- 10:21book, DraftKings in the Sharp book in Vegas circa, both have a
- 10:24good split there. Sharp contrarian toward the
- 10:26under and then mentioned a second ago.
- 10:28But two great defenses. Ohio State number one in the
- 10:31country only giving up 12.2 points per game.
- 10:34Notre Dame second in the country only giving up 14.3 points per
- 10:38game. So 2 good defenses, Publix on
- 10:41the ovary at the total fell. If you can still find a hook
- 10:43under 45 1/2, I'm not going to argue there.
- 10:46That's my lean, but I'm going to take the Irish in the points.
- 10:49I played them quite a bit here when it comes to these playoff
- 10:52games. And hey, you're giving me a not
- 10:55a contrarian dog, but a 5050 dog line move with some extra rest
- 10:59and the correlative betting. Also, again, Freeman can can
- 11:02you. He's been pretty innovative,
- 11:04pretty impressive. Can you can you work your magic
- 11:06here and keep this thing close? That is my goal.
- 11:09So I'm going Irish. Let's do it for Rudy.
- 11:12Play like a champion. I got Notre Dame plus 8 1/2.
- 11:17Now over to some college basketball.
- 11:19Got some college hoops for you guys as well as some NHLI.
- 11:22Want to focus on a kind of early evening game.
- 11:25This is Georgetown and Villanova, so this is a 6:00
- 11:30game here tonight on Fox Sports 1.
- 11:33And if you look at the side, we've seen the line go toward
- 11:35Villanova, they're as opening as low as -7 now they're up to
- 11:39around -8 1/2. But I'm going to focus on this
- 11:42total here because one thing jumped out to me, the fact that
- 11:45this total has really fallen quite a bit.
- 11:47And now I'm thinking, has it fallen so much to that creates
- 11:50an opportunity to buy low and go over?
- 11:52That's that's my goal. So this Nova Georgetown total,
- 11:55it opened as high as 137 1/2. It is now down to 135 1/2 and
- 12:01some shops including FanDuel down to 134 1/2.
- 12:05And this is again always the importance of shopping for the
- 12:07best line, having multiple outs because most of the markets 135
- 12:111/2. I was able to buy low and go
- 12:13over 134 1/2 at FanDuel. Now this is a what I wouldn't
- 12:18call a sharp play, but I would call a buy low value play
- 12:21because if we look at rhythm, they're predicting a final score
- 12:25of our final total of 136. Nothing crazy, you know, 135 and
- 12:29a half, 134 1/2 in the market. You know, 136 would technically
- 12:32win just by the skin of your teeth.
- 12:34But what I do like quite a bit is that Ken Pom as a predicted
- 12:38final total of 141. So if you're able to get that
- 12:42over 134 1/2 at FanDuel, I mean, you're looking at, you know, 6
- 12:461/2 points of a pretty good edge there toward a higher scoring
- 12:49game. I like both these teams in terms
- 12:52of their offense. Georgetown's averaging 73 points
- 12:55a game. Nova averaging 78 points a game.
- 12:58Their effective field goal percentages are pretty
- 13:00impressive. Georgetown is 52%, Nova is 57%.
- 13:04Nova. I remember with the J right
- 13:06days, it would be like great defense if they're kind of
- 13:09opposite. Now.
- 13:10Their defensive efficiency is 178 in the country, but they're
- 13:13#9 overall 9th best offensive efficiency.
- 13:18Both teams can shoot the 332% from Georgetown and 40% for Nova
- 13:24and hopefully they can hit their free throws.
- 13:25Georgetown 72% from the line, Nova 80% from the line.
- 13:30And again, both these teams are rested and ready to go.
- 13:32They last played on Friday night, so they've had the full
- 13:35weekend off. So have to fully admit, when
- 13:38this thing first opened, 137 1/2, you had some respect to
- 13:40money hit that under. But now that it's falling all
- 13:43the way to 134 1/2 at FanDuel, again, providing a bylaw
- 13:46opportunity, let's just say this thing lands one 35136, even 137,
- 13:52those early under 137 half betters when you play the, you
- 13:56know, the under 135 and half, 134 and half, you lose that bet.
- 14:00So I'm going to buy low. I'm going to root for points.
- 14:03Give me Nova Georgetown over 134 1/2.
- 14:07Very important. That's at FanDuel.
- 14:09So shop around, make sure you get those multiple outs.
- 14:12Last bit of the night before. We have some initial thoughts
- 14:15here that I'm excited to share about the conference
- 14:18championship games. Let's talk about a match up here
- 14:20tonight. 9:30 PM On the ice, the Winnipeg Jets visiting the Utah
- 14:26Hockey club. He asked me they got they got a
- 14:29change to the Yeti, Utah Yeti. It makes too much sense, but I
- 14:32get it. You just moved.
- 14:33Hey, I'll wait till next year anyway.
- 14:35The Jets come in playing fantastic 3113 and three that
- 14:39might be the best or one of the best.
- 14:41I know for sure Our records in the NHL Utah 519 nineteen and
- 14:46seven. Now if we get The Jets, they
- 14:48just had a three-game win streak snap.
- 14:50They lost to the Calgary Flames 3 to one kind of the opposite.
- 14:53The hockey club had lost three in a row and they just beat
- 14:56Saint Louis 4:00 to 2:00. What have we seen across the
- 14:58market here? Extreme one sided steam in favor
- 15:02of The Jets this game open Winnipeg listed as low as a -,
- 15:06135 -, 140 Rd. favorite. We've now seen The Jets get all
- 15:09the way up to -175 some shops even higher -185 S right off the
- 15:15bat, big steam on Winnipeg, great bet splits at Circa.
- 15:19Again, when it comes to hockey, I'm not a huge bet splits guy
- 15:22just because I want to be with the sharp money.
- 15:25But you know, bet splits in hockey, there's really no
- 15:27contrarian value. It's just not heavily bet enough
- 15:30of a game or a sport in general. But I did notice 76% of bets,
- 15:34but over 90% of money is on Winnipeg.
- 15:37So the sharps out in Vegas, you know, walking up to the book at
- 15:40Circa, they're they're laying the chalk here with Winnipeg.
- 15:42And that's what I'm doing. Give me The Jets here, guys.
- 15:44I really like the advantage in net.
- 15:47Connor Hellebuck has been great. Knock on wood.
- 15:49Hope he plays well tonight. 1.97 goals against, 929 save
- 15:54percentage. He's been even better in six
- 15:56January starts. 1.8 three goals against and he'll be facing the
- 16:00backup goaltender for Utah. That's that's why you saw this
- 16:03huge move here. Hellebuck, they until he was
- 16:06announced, you saw it. You know, obviously the great
- 16:09goalie Winnipeg in and then Utah, not Vermilka, who's been
- 16:12good, but Connor Ingram, expected to be a net.
- 16:15He's got a 3.38 goals against average, only an 879 say
- 16:20percentage. Home Rd. splits favor Winnipeg
- 16:2313 and eight on the road. Utah just 7-11 and four at home.
- 16:27Offensively, Winnipeg averaging 3.5 goals a game versus 2.8 for
- 16:32Utah and better defensively averaging or allowing 2.4 goals
- 16:37per game versus 3 for the Utah Hockey Club.
- 16:40Power play. Really.
- 16:41You've seen a great power play from Winnipeg this year, 32%
- 16:45versus 21% for Utah. Then the cherry on top, I have a
- 16:49lot of system matches here in Winnipeg.
- 16:52One is one of our favorite, our favorite system matches of all
- 16:55time. Rd. favorite off a loss opponent
- 16:57versus an opponent off a win. That's 35 and 23 this year, 60%
- 17:02since the start of last year at 65%, 9% ROI.
- 17:06Also another system sweet spot Rd. favorite with Steam.
- 17:09If you are a road favorite, $0.10 of steam or more, you're
- 17:12between, I think it's -150 and -200 you're 44 and 2564% and a
- 17:19road favorite with steam playing an opponent who missed the
- 17:21playoffs the previous year. That's 51 and 30 this year, 63%
- 17:25with a 4% ROI. So a lot of shops right now are
- 17:28at -185 but as always, try to stress on the pod the importance
- 17:32of having multiple outs getting the best price.
- 17:35Currently The Jets are only -175 at ESPN bet.
- 17:39So I played The Jets to win the damn game -175 S Jets to win
- 17:45Nova Georgetown over 134 1/2 and the Irish plus 8 1/2.
- 17:50Now want to mention a few things about the AFC and NFC
- 17:54Championship games because obviously Sunday's going to be a
- 17:58great day with the double header.
- 18:00I'm going to miss the Saturday doubleheaders as well.
- 18:03But some early thoughts on these games.
- 18:04Let's start off with the early 1, Washington and Philadelphia.
- 18:08Now, we've seen a move toward Philly early.
- 18:10Philly open this game as low as -4 1/2 -, 5 at home.
- 18:15Now Philly's up to -5 1/2 and they're juiced up like they may
- 18:18even be going to six. Now, the splits look pretty good
- 18:21on Philly. Nothing crazy, but 48% of bets,
- 18:2561% money on Philly at DraftKings at Circa 46% bets,
- 18:2968% dollars. But as always, favorites early,
- 18:34dogs late. Like this looks very similar to
- 18:35the Rams Philly game where again, you could have gotten
- 18:38Philly -5 1/2. Then up closing -7 the people
- 18:42who got Philly early cover that number because they won by 6.
- 18:45If you laid it late, you lost. So what I'm looking at here is,
- 18:49you know, because the lines already moved toward Philly
- 18:51quite a bit, we're very close to the key number of 6 guys I'm
- 18:55looking at right now, holding out for the Commanders plus 6.
- 18:59Jane Daniels have been fantastic.
- 19:00Obviously, there's also a rare divisional game.
- 19:04So Philly, Washington, the third time they've matched up this
- 19:06year. Washington won one of them,
- 19:08Philly won the other. But now your third time around.
- 19:11So a lot of familiarity should hopefully level the playing
- 19:14field, benefit the team getting points, playoff dogs who missed
- 19:18the playoffs the previous year. Jane Daniels has covered in the
- 19:21spot both times this postseason and those teams overall are 41
- 19:25and 2166% ATS, 28% ROI since 2017.
- 19:31So I'm looking toward toward waiting on the six for
- 19:33Washington and we'll see if there's been any, if there's any
- 19:36buyback and it comes back down. But this is going to be again,
- 19:39favorites early, dogs late. I'm holding out for Washington
- 19:43right now at +6. The big one though, Buffalo,
- 19:47Kansas City, this one should be absolutely fantastic and it's a
- 19:51very, very short number, but it is moving toward the Kansas City
- 19:55Chiefs. Now.
- 19:57Couple things going on here. 1 Kansas City open this game very
- 20:00short 1 or 1 1/2 point home favorite you've seen now the
- 20:04entire market go to 1 1/2 and even some shops now going to -2
- 20:08for Kansas City. So early move here obviously
- 20:12toward the Chiefs and I'm wondering if this is going to be
- 20:15a fade the trendy dog in terms of playing Kansas City right.
- 20:18My lean right now is Kansas City money line.
- 20:20I'll give you a lot of. Angles here to consider but one
- 20:25is the fact that right now Buffalo is getting 65% of spread
- 20:30bets at DraftKings. So public is thinking hey take
- 20:33the points of the bills circa though really good splits here
- 20:36in Kansas City 57% bets, 79% dollars, 47% bets, 62% dollars
- 20:42on the money line. Now, one thing we have seen when
- 20:45it comes to these home favorites, they're covering 53%
- 20:49of the time over the last 20 years, they're 19 and 17 ATS.
- 20:53But if you're a home fave with a line move in your favor, which
- 20:56would also match with Philly, those teams are 10 and six ATS,
- 21:0063% since 2004. But here's what I like about
- 21:04Kansas City in terms of the chalk, just playing the money
- 21:07line straight up. If you look at these conference
- 21:09championship games over the last 20 years, favorites are 29 and
- 21:1413, straight up 69%. Home favorites are 26 and 10,
- 21:19straight up 72%. So you know, Philly, you know,
- 21:23they're too high the money line, in my opinion, they're like -265
- 21:26-, 270. But again, if you want to tease
- 21:29down Philly, that would match, just win the game.
- 21:32But the Chiefs would match that home favorite.
- 21:35They also have a one day rest advantage.
- 21:37I forgot to mention the Commanders also have a one day
- 21:39rest advantage. Maybe I did, I forgot.
- 21:42But Chiefs played on Saturday, and that was the early game
- 21:45versus Buffalo, who played on Sunday, the lake game.
- 21:48I'm also going to put some stock into kind of rest.
- 21:50First tired. You know, Kansas City sat their
- 21:53starters Week 18. Then they had the bye week.
- 21:55So, you know, you look at Travis, Kelsey Mahomes, they're
- 21:57fresh as lettuce. Buffalo, you know, played
- 22:00throughout the season, played Week 18.
- 22:03And they also just played two playoff games, a tough one
- 22:06against the Ravens. So maybe there's a little more
- 22:08juice for Kansas City in the spot now.
- 22:11The granddaddy of them all, Patrick Mahomes winning straight
- 22:14up at home. Mahomes at home in his career,
- 22:1754 and 12, straight up, 82 percent, 43 and 10 straight up
- 22:22in the regular season, 11 and two straight up in the
- 22:24postseason. So I don't really think there's
- 22:27a huge reason to money line the Chiefs right now.
- 22:30Let's wait it out. I want to make sure that this
- 22:32line doesn't creep back down toward a pick, which would be a
- 22:34very good sign for Buffalo. But as right now we got low
- 22:38bets, higher dollars, bit of a fade, the trendy dog, great
- 22:41angles here, Mahomes and favorites at home in the
- 22:43division in the championship round.
- 22:45I'm looking toward the Chiefs money line at this point.
- 22:48I will mention to the under looks pretty decent.
- 22:51Open 48 1/2. It's down to 47 1/2.
- 22:53You can still find 48 really good bets.
- 22:56What's to the under? 37% bets, 66% money at
- 22:59DraftKings, circa 75% bets, 97% money.
- 23:04And one angle that has been really good this year,
- 23:07especially in in, you know, outdoor games.
- 23:10But if there's a big split, like overall dogs have been great,
- 23:14you know, this postseason, which I was hoping for after a really
- 23:17bad dog year, regular season about playoff dogs now seven and
- 23:21three against the spread this postseason.
- 23:23And you'll get the unders 6 and 4.
- 23:25But big difference between games and a Dome and games outside
- 23:30outdoor playoff unders are six and two.
- 23:32Those only two losses were Dome games, which was the Texans game
- 23:36and the commanders game. So those those those outdoor
- 23:42unders 75% this postseason 6 and two, they're 57% since 2017 and
- 23:48high total 47 or more take the under 62% since 2017.
- 23:53Now, obviously we saw weather play a big role when I was
- 23:58freaking out because Stafford and Kyron Williams and all those
- 24:01all those Rams guys were dropping the ball fumble in it
- 24:04in the snow. But as right now I'm not seeing
- 24:07much in the way of snow. Like the early forecast for the
- 24:10Eagles game is actually not bad, like 35° seven mile per hour
- 24:14winds, Kansas City 25° Six Mile per hour winds.
- 24:19So we'll see. Weather can obviously change.
- 24:21But as right now I'm leaning Kansas City money line and
- 24:24Washington holding out for a + 6.
- 24:27So that about does it for Episode 2 O one of the all
