- 0:00Speaker 1: Blogged into Everything New York on the Voice of New York,
- 0:04Speaker 1: marm On seventy.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Ten to r.
- 0:11Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, that is good news. The stock market is up.
- 0:15Speaker 3: The economy is booming. Despite what you might read in
- 0:20Speaker 3: the New York Times or any of those places. Stock
- 0:22Speaker 3: market is up. Let's see the Dow uph s and
- 0:29Speaker 3: P five hundred seting an all time record today. Oil
- 0:32Speaker 3: prices are down. One reason the stock market is up
- 0:34Speaker 3: is earnings are phenomenal earnings reports coming out left and right.
- 0:38Speaker 3: They're all great, they're excellent. Spending is up, corporate spending,
- 0:44Speaker 3: cap X, all that sort of stuff that's very important.
- 0:47Speaker 3: So it's booming. It's booming. That's great news. So I'm
- 0:51Speaker 3: just telling you because you're not going to hear about this.
- 0:53Speaker 3: You won't hear this on the on the news tonight.
- 0:55Speaker 3: You know, it's only when the Dow's down. That's the
- 0:57Speaker 3: lead story on the CBS Evening News, the ABC use
- 1:00Speaker 3: the NBC News. No Dow plunges, that's if it's up.
- 1:04Speaker 3: No mention, no mention of it anywhere. So they just
- 1:08Speaker 3: announced the Tonio nominations. Tony nominations for the season just
- 1:14Speaker 3: came out a second ago. Seventy ninth Annual Tony Awards.
- 1:17Speaker 3: It'll air live on CBS from Radio City on Sunday,
- 1:21Speaker 3: June seventh. It will stream on Paramount Plus and they'll
- 1:26Speaker 3: be hosted by Pink. Nominees for Best New Musical, The
- 1:32Speaker 3: Lost Boys? What is this one? S Schmiger Dooney? Do
- 1:38Speaker 3: you know what that is? Never heard of this? I
- 1:41Speaker 3: never heard of any of these Titanic two Strangers. I
- 1:47Speaker 3: never heard of one of those. Best New Play, The Blisters,
- 1:53Speaker 3: Giant Liberation, Little Bear Ridge Road. I've never heard of
- 1:57Speaker 3: any of these things. Best Revival of a Play, The
- 2:02Speaker 3: Death of Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman. This revival
- 2:05Speaker 3: Nathan Lane and others is getting rave reviews. Best Revival
- 2:11Speaker 3: of a Musical Cats has been nominated Ragtime, Rocky Horror
- 2:14Speaker 3: Show got nominated. That's interesting looking through these nominations and
- 2:20Speaker 3: nothing that interesting. Yeah, Last Boys, The Lost Boys? What
- 2:26Speaker 3: the hell's the Lost Boys? I don't even know what
- 2:28Speaker 3: it is, but it's got a lot of a lot
- 2:30Speaker 3: of nominations all over the place. So hey, tonight the
- 2:34Speaker 3: Rose Garden Club opens. That's the Rose Garden at the
- 2:37Speaker 3: White House. The President. It was just grass, you know,
- 2:42Speaker 3: and for years they do a ceremony in the rose garden.
- 2:44Speaker 3: It's grass, and then you know, three hundred people would
- 2:47Speaker 3: trample on the grass and it was a mess afterwards,
- 2:50Speaker 3: or they'd want to do something in the rose garden.
- 2:51Speaker 3: It had rained the day before, so it was muddy
- 2:54Speaker 3: and the ground was a mess. So President Trump, if
- 2:59Speaker 3: you read the fake news, so he paved over the
- 3:01Speaker 3: rose garden. And he didn't pave over it. He brought
- 3:03Speaker 3: in the finest marble granite, and he built a beautiful patio.
- 3:09Speaker 3: So instead of just grass, it's a beautiful patio. It's
- 3:12Speaker 3: absolutely stunning, every detail of it. And you know, if
- 3:17Speaker 3: you do this really well, it means he's a great builder.
- 3:20Speaker 3: If you really know what you're doing, if you're not
- 3:22Speaker 3: the government and you're actually a great builder. You put
- 3:25Speaker 3: in a lot of drains all over the place so
- 3:27Speaker 3: that way, no matter how hard it rains, it's clean.
- 3:31Speaker 3: And if you look at the drains, there's these beautiful
- 3:33Speaker 3: white drains that match the granite. But if you don't
- 3:36Speaker 3: look at him, you know has all the slats in him.
- 3:38Speaker 3: The slats are all the whole thing is. The drain
- 3:41Speaker 3: is in the shape of an American flag. You don't
- 3:43Speaker 3: you get up close and really look at him. But
- 3:46Speaker 3: every little detail is perfect. And then they have these
- 3:48Speaker 3: great chairs and tables, really elegant looking, beautiful umbrellas, beautiful lights,
- 3:53Speaker 3: and they turned it into probably the most beautiful outdoor
- 3:57Speaker 3: cafe in America. They can put a lot of people
- 4:00Speaker 3: in there. So President Trump, when he does the State dinner,
- 4:05Speaker 3: you can do in the East Room, but we are
- 4:06Speaker 3: doing something a little more informal. He does these outside
- 4:09Speaker 3: dinnators dinners with members of Congress and all sorts of
- 4:13Speaker 3: So the first one is tonight. It's going to be
- 4:15Speaker 3: a nice, warm night in DC, so it'll be the
- 4:19Speaker 3: first Rose Garden Club dinner tonight. Check out the pictures
- 4:22Speaker 3: of it. You'll be very impressed with how it looks.
- 4:25Speaker 3: It's really really nice. You remember talking about crazy Chuck Schumer.
- 4:30Speaker 3: This guy will say anything. He has no beliefs in anything,
- 4:34Speaker 3: no principles, nothing. It just takes care of his donors
- 4:37Speaker 3: all day. But on the weekend he'll do his fake
- 4:40Speaker 3: press conference. Somebody will type up some issue. He'll read
- 4:42Speaker 3: it and you can see never even pre read it.
- 4:45Speaker 3: He doesn't even know it. You can see him turning
- 4:47Speaker 3: the page with the big, big, big glasses on trying
- 4:51Speaker 3: to read this thing. So this one, everybody thought was
- 4:55Speaker 3: the most hypocritical nonsense. Some people in government are betting
- 4:58Speaker 3: on the poly market in a profit. He wants to
- 5:01Speaker 3: put a stop to it.
- 5:02Speaker 4: Now, the people who write our laws are nation secrets
- 5:05Speaker 4: and command our military should not be able to use
- 5:09Speaker 4: the prediction markets to wager on the outcomes of their
- 5:12Speaker 4: own work. Prediction markets have exploded over the last few years,
- 5:18Speaker 4: and we must never allow Congress to turn into a casino.
- 5:22Speaker 3: No, he read this and as soon as he finished,
- 5:24Speaker 3: he ran like a thief. He just ran the hell
- 5:27Speaker 3: out of there, because every reporter the same question. Well,
- 5:30Speaker 3: then what about the insider trading You talk about making
- 5:33Speaker 3: a profit off their work, off what they know. You
- 5:37Speaker 3: can't bet on a poly market, but you're allowed to
- 5:39Speaker 3: insider trade on the stock market. Well, Schumer just ran
- 5:42Speaker 3: and hid, and it's the most hypocritical thing in the world.
- 5:46Speaker 3: I'm not disagreeing with it on this, but then ban
- 5:49Speaker 3: insider trading. As long as you're serving in Congress. You're
- 5:51Speaker 3: not allowed to buy and sell stocks with inside information
- 5:55Speaker 3: based on your work. It's the same exact thing as
- 5:58Speaker 3: the poly market. The only difference at the DOS is
- 6:00Speaker 3: you can make a lot more money. That's how people
- 6:03Speaker 3: on a government salary like Pelosi end up leaving worth
- 6:06Speaker 3: seven hundred million. You know some of these senators that
- 6:10Speaker 3: they're making one hundred and fifty thousand a year. Next thing,
- 6:12Speaker 3: you know, they're worth forty million, one hundred million, all
- 6:15Speaker 3: from the insider trading. But Schumer refuses to answer that question.
- 6:19Speaker 3: He's in hiding. You will not see him until people
- 6:22Speaker 3: forget about that question. So crazy mom. Donnie is protesting,
- 6:28Speaker 3: he's against ICE, he doesn't want to help ICE. Hockel
- 6:33Speaker 3: is going along with him. It's absolutely crazy.
- 6:35Speaker 1: We are going to continue to actively examine what our
- 6:39Speaker 1: response protocols are when ICE is present, to ensure that
- 6:42Speaker 1: we're handling the situations appropriately and we're doing so in
- 6:45Speaker 1: a manner that's consistent with our local laws and our
- 6:47Speaker 1: values as a city.
- 6:48Speaker 3: His values is don't help ICE. His values is have
- 6:51Speaker 3: the illegals run all over the place.
- 6:53Speaker 1: As I've made very clear that our laws leave nothing,
- 6:58Speaker 1: no room for interpretation about the fact that our NYPD
- 7:01Speaker 1: will not participate in civil immigration enforcement. And I've also
- 7:05Speaker 1: been very clear about my views on ice raids as
- 7:08Speaker 1: a whole. I think that they are cruel. I think
- 7:10Speaker 1: that they are inhumane. I think that they do not
- 7:12Speaker 1: serve any interest of public safety.
- 7:15Speaker 3: Well, of course they do, because most of the ice
- 7:18Speaker 3: raids are criminals, gang members, criminals that they're trying to apprehend.
- 7:22Speaker 3: They're here illegally. They're trying to get them out. They've
- 7:24Speaker 3: broken the law just coming here, and then they've broken
- 7:26Speaker 3: the law all over the place here in some cases killing, robbing, raping. Obviously,
- 7:31Speaker 3: you want to get him out here, but not crazy mom,
- 7:33Speaker 3: Donnie so Hey, they asked him about Giuliani. Now, if
- 7:36Speaker 3: you are the mayor of New York, when it comes
- 7:40Speaker 3: to the greatest mayor of New York ever had, by far,
- 7:43Speaker 3: I mean the greatest mayor ever in New York, when
- 7:46Speaker 3: you want to talk to him, when you have questions
- 7:49Speaker 3: for him, when you want to get some guidance from him.
- 7:52Speaker 3: If you became a New York Yankee and they're in
- 7:55Speaker 3: the clubhouse or in the owner's suite watching there was
- 8:00Speaker 3: Joe Demijo or Mickey Mantle or any of those crazy,
- 8:03Speaker 3: wouldn't you want to go ask them things talk to them. Nope.
- 8:07Speaker 3: Not if your mom, Donnie. You can't stand them.
- 8:11Speaker 5: You know.
- 8:11Speaker 3: Eric Adams used to call up Bloomberg all the time
- 8:15Speaker 3: to ask him questions, and anybody with half a brains,
- 8:18Speaker 3: the first thing you would do. You become the mayor,
- 8:21Speaker 3: and you call the greatest mayors ever and you'd ask
- 8:24Speaker 3: them questions. You know, it comes to crime. You give
- 8:26Speaker 3: the mayor of New York when you call Ray Kelly.
- 8:28Speaker 3: He's a nice guy. He'll help you out when you say,
- 8:31Speaker 3: could we have lunch? Could I talk to you? Could
- 8:33Speaker 3: I come see you? I'd like to ask you things.
- 8:35Speaker 3: I mean, the guy's the greatest expert in the world
- 8:38Speaker 3: on how to fight crime in New York, how to
- 8:39Speaker 3: be the police commission. When you ask him some stuff,
- 8:42Speaker 3: it's only logical. So the reporters did ask Mom Donnie
- 8:46Speaker 3: about Rudy Giuliani. He's better today. He's still not out
- 8:49Speaker 3: of the woods, but he's turned a corner. He had
- 8:52Speaker 3: been in a coma on a ventilator. A priest had
- 8:55Speaker 3: give him his last rites. He's out of the coma
- 8:58Speaker 3: yesterday he's now off the vent till later. It's looking better.
- 9:02Speaker 3: But yesterday the reporter asked him about de Rudy Giuliani.
- 9:05Speaker 6: I think he'd like to.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Say about his contribution to the city of the fact
- 9:08Speaker 1: that he got the city through.
- 9:10Speaker 6: Nine to eleven.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Well, I think former Mayor Giuliani is someone that we
- 9:16Speaker 1: as New Yorkers know well and he's been a fixture
- 9:19Speaker 1: in our cities politics and public life for so many years.
- 9:23Speaker 1: And I know that many New Yorkers are concerned by
- 9:25Speaker 1: the reports that he's in critical condition.
- 9:29Speaker 3: He can't say, yeah, he was the greatest mayor ever
- 9:31Speaker 3: in New York. Yeah he did clean up crime. Yeah,
- 9:34Speaker 3: he was an unbelievable hero in nine to eleven. Yeah
- 9:36Speaker 3: he did help the city come back from He can't
- 9:38Speaker 3: say it. He can't. Did you hear that answer? Well,
- 9:42Speaker 3: we know him well, he is a fixture. Can't say
- 9:47Speaker 3: anything good about him. This crazy mom Donnie who does
- 9:51Speaker 3: not follow the science. And that's one thing about Democrats,
- 9:54Speaker 3: they do not follow the science. For crime fighting is
- 9:58Speaker 3: an actual science. There's things that we know work, things
- 10:00Speaker 3: that we know don't work, and we've scientifically tested them.
- 10:04Speaker 3: We've tested them thousands of times in hundreds of cities,
- 10:07Speaker 3: and we know what works and one doesn't work. But
- 10:09Speaker 3: Mom Donnie doesn't follow that. Now, speaking of crime. You
- 10:13Speaker 3: get these crazy left wing das, and you got these
- 10:17Speaker 3: crazy left wing judges. You had one yesterday actually apologized
- 10:22Speaker 3: to the presidential assassin Cole Allen, the White House Correspondents
- 10:27Speaker 3: dinner shooter. Apparently in jail, they put him in solitary
- 10:31Speaker 3: and at one point they put him on suicide watch.
- 10:36Speaker 3: The jail said, well, if you read his manifesto, he
- 10:38Speaker 3: says something about you know, this is it, It's over
- 10:41Speaker 3: for me. It sounded like a suicide note, so they
- 10:45Speaker 3: put him on suicide watch. Well, he was back in
- 10:48Speaker 3: court yesterday and this crazy left wing judge. US magistrate
- 10:52Speaker 3: Judge Zia M. Farque told Cole Allan she actually apologized
- 10:59Speaker 3: to him. She said, I'm so sorry about the way
- 11:02Speaker 3: you've been retreated. There was no reason for you to
- 11:05Speaker 3: be put in solitary. I'm sorry. The conditions were harsh
- 11:08Speaker 3: in the jail. It's jail. It's supposed to be harsh.
- 11:12Speaker 3: What's more harsh than the jail? But Tony Towns, he's
- 11:18Speaker 3: a lawyer for the DC lockup, said they did ongoing
- 11:22Speaker 3: psych exams and they made the decision that the medical staff
- 11:25Speaker 3: to put him on suicide watch. But the judge apologized
- 11:29Speaker 3: to him. His lawyer said, one time he was put
- 11:33Speaker 3: in a padded cell what amounted to twenty four hour lockdown.
- 11:38Speaker 3: It's jail. Yeah, So the judge kept apologizing and apologizing.
- 11:43Speaker 3: Why he said he wasn't even allowed to have a bible.
- 11:47Speaker 3: The judge said, it just doesn't add up. As he noticed,
- 11:51Speaker 3: he noted people convicted of more serious crimes were held
- 11:54Speaker 3: in less restrictive conditions. What's more serious than trying to
- 11:57Speaker 3: assassinate the president of the United States? What's more serious
- 12:01Speaker 3: than trying to open fire on a ballroom filled with
- 12:04Speaker 3: cabinet officials? So again, crazy left wing judges everywhere. Stephen Colbert,
- 12:11Speaker 3: the show is going off the air finally? Is it
- 12:14Speaker 3: later this month? He's planning, apparently, some sort of emotional Farewell.
- 12:21Speaker 3: Now the question is when he goes, what's gonna come on? Well,
- 12:26Speaker 3: they're gonna do a game show with Byron Allen. It's
- 12:29Speaker 3: a pretty good game show, but it's really just a
- 12:31Speaker 3: copy of Hollywood Squares, and then they're gonna do a
- 12:34Speaker 3: copy of Gutfeld. It's going to be a bunch of
- 12:36Speaker 3: comedians roundtable. But according to Byron Allen, they will not
- 12:40Speaker 3: talk about the news. They'll just talk about other topics,
- 12:43Speaker 3: which is smart because then it won't get outdated. It'll
- 12:46Speaker 3: always be usable. You could rerun this stuff forever. Now,
- 12:50Speaker 3: what happens to the Ed Sullivan Theater. This stuff is
- 12:52Speaker 3: all being done in California, So you're gonna have a
- 12:55Speaker 3: big empty Ed Sullivan Theater that CBS bought years ago
- 12:59Speaker 3: and spent a fortune renovating for David Letterman. But what
- 13:02Speaker 3: happens to it? Well, the Ed Sullivan Theater experts say
- 13:06Speaker 3: if you just put it on the market, it could
- 13:08Speaker 3: fetch up to ninety million dollars. It's possible you could
- 13:13Speaker 3: restore it to a Broadway theater because originally it was
- 13:16Speaker 3: a fifteen hundred seat Broadway theater and could be put
- 13:20Speaker 3: back that way, but be a costly renovation to restore
- 13:24Speaker 3: all that paramount's. CBS well, they could use it for
- 13:30Speaker 3: live theatrical productions if they want to produce shows there,
- 13:34Speaker 3: but they're doing less and less stuff, so I doubt
- 13:36Speaker 3: they're going to do anything with it. James Dolan, a
- 13:39Speaker 3: Mason Square Garden, has apparently shown some interest in buying
- 13:43Speaker 3: the theater turning it into a venue. But if you
- 13:47Speaker 3: want to turn it back to a Broadway theater. Just
- 13:49Speaker 3: make it a legitimate old Broadway theater. Apparently, the Nederlanders,
- 13:53Speaker 3: the Schubert Organization, and others have shown some interest, so
- 13:57Speaker 3: expect one of those things to to happen. Hey, Ron
- 14:03Speaker 3: DeSantis is indicating making moves like he wants to be
- 14:08Speaker 3: a presidential candidate in twenty twenty eight. Now, obviously, you
- 14:13Speaker 3: know he's run for president before. He's been a great,
- 14:17Speaker 3: a phenomenal governor of Florida. He's been the best governor
- 14:20Speaker 3: in America. He's outstanding as a governor. He stinks as
- 14:25Speaker 3: a presidential candidate. He all has. He has another problem.
- 14:28Speaker 3: It's a big problem behind the scenes. He's the nastiest
- 14:31Speaker 3: guy in the world, and it's just nasty to anybody
- 14:34Speaker 3: and everybody. Everybody in the RNC, everybody in Trump World,
- 14:39Speaker 3: anybody who runs into He's just privately nasty to everybody.
- 14:42Speaker 3: I don't know why it is. I have no idea
- 14:45Speaker 3: why he does it. Nobody's been able to talk to
- 14:48Speaker 3: him about it. It's a big, big problem for him
- 14:52Speaker 3: behind the scenes. That's one problem. The other problem is
- 14:55Speaker 3: just as a candidate, he's not much of a personality.
- 14:58Speaker 3: He's kind of a cold fish as a speaker, as
- 15:01Speaker 3: a guest on a show, it's kind of a weird voice.
- 15:04Speaker 3: And where's those crazy cowboy boots? And so that's the problem.
- 15:11Speaker 3: And again he's been so nasty. Even his own donors,
- 15:14Speaker 3: even his big donors, he's nasty to them. I mean,
- 15:16Speaker 3: they tell stories about how they you know, they write
- 15:19Speaker 3: him a massive check and then they can't get him
- 15:21Speaker 3: on the phone. He runs into him, he won't say hello.
- 15:25Speaker 3: He's just I don't know why he does it. But
- 15:27Speaker 3: that's a big problem. He's leaving his Florida governor. Term
- 15:30Speaker 3: limits have ended his governorship. So he's been lobbying and
- 15:35Speaker 3: had people lobbying behind the scenes to get him a
- 15:38Speaker 3: cabinet post with the Trump administration. But but nobody wants
- 15:44Speaker 3: him in the cabinet because he's so difficult to work
- 15:47Speaker 3: with him. He's so nasty. He's a great governor, but
- 15:49Speaker 3: I don't think he's a good employee on a team.
- 15:53Speaker 3: And Trump wants to do something for him. He's been
- 15:57Speaker 3: very helpful to Trump with the stuff in Miami, with
- 16:01Speaker 3: the renaming stuff after him the airport. He's been very
- 16:04Speaker 3: helpful with helping with the Trump Library, going to Miami.
- 16:08Speaker 3: But so Trump would find him something. It wouldn't be
- 16:10Speaker 3: in the cabinet, but he'll find him something. They have
- 16:13Speaker 3: these jobs where they can throw people that mean absolutely nothing.
- 16:17Speaker 3: Un Ambassador is one of them. They just get if
- 16:21Speaker 3: they know you're a problem and they don't want you around.
- 16:23Speaker 3: Like Carrie Lake, who's not as not quite as bad
- 16:27Speaker 3: as Desanta's, but she's pretty rough and nobody wants her
- 16:30Speaker 3: around behind the scenes. She's pretty rough, so they stuck
- 16:33Speaker 3: her at Voice of America, which doesn't mean anything to
- 16:36Speaker 3: them anyway. We'll take some calls. Next. Eight hundred three
- 16:39Speaker 3: two one zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred
- 16:44Speaker 3: three two one zero seven ten Set up pre sat
- 16:47Speaker 3: on the iHeartRadio app to double R to hear Mark live.
- 16:51Speaker 7: Set another for.
- 16:52Speaker 6: Mark's podcast to hear him anytime.
- 16:56Speaker 3: Now back to Mark zimone on dou wor Hey, let's
- 17:00Speaker 3: take some calls. Let's go to Joe in Pink Skill,
- 17:03Speaker 3: New York.
- 17:03Speaker 6: Joe, how you doing, Hey, Mark, I'm curious you recently
- 17:08Speaker 6: were talking about the popularity of podcast today. It's like
- 17:11Speaker 6: everybody has their own talk show. Now. I know you're
- 17:16Speaker 6: a fan of Johnny Carson and you know some of
- 17:18Speaker 6: the older talk shows. I'm curious, since you've met a
- 17:20Speaker 6: lot of people over the years, did you know Joe
- 17:22Speaker 6: Franklin at all?
- 17:24Speaker 3: Yes, of course I knew Joe Franklin. He was on
- 17:27Speaker 3: this show many times. I was on his show many times.
- 17:30Speaker 3: Why on earth would anybody in twenty twenty six ask
- 17:33Speaker 3: about Joe frank.
- 17:35Speaker 6: Well, actually I saw a few YouTube clips the Joe
- 17:39Speaker 6: Franklin Show, and as odd as it may seem, I
- 17:42Speaker 6: missed the guy. I mean, if you were up at
- 17:44Speaker 6: three in the morning, you know you could rely on
- 17:45Speaker 6: Joe Franklin.
- 17:46Speaker 3: He was a great part of New York. He would
- 17:48Speaker 3: have twelve people on the show. One would be Tony
- 17:52Speaker 3: Bennett plugging something. The other would be a plumber next
- 17:54Speaker 3: to him. The other would be some young I want
- 17:57Speaker 3: to be actress that there's some sponsor to have on
- 18:00Speaker 3: and absolutely one would be uh, Morris Katz, the painter,
- 18:05Speaker 3: and he'd make everybody talk to everybody Tony Bennett's finished,
- 18:09Speaker 3: and then he'd say to the plumber, Uh, well, what
- 18:12Speaker 3: do you want to ask Tony Bennett?
- 18:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:14Speaker 2: He would often do that.
- 18:16Speaker 6: He would rely on the guests to ask one another
- 18:18Speaker 6: questions you know.
- 18:19Speaker 3: Yeah, he was a very awkward, klutzy guy, but another very.
- 18:23Speaker 6: Nice curious if you did know him, like, what kind
- 18:25Speaker 6: of guy was he? I get? You know, obviously he
- 18:28Speaker 6: was king.
- 18:29Speaker 3: Nothing bad. He was a very nice man. He had
- 18:31Speaker 3: an office that was legendary. It was just packed with
- 18:35Speaker 3: every piece of memorabilia, every newspaper ever published.
- 18:38Speaker 6: It was, you know, I saw that that's on YouTube
- 18:40Speaker 6: as well. I'm curious who inherited that.
- 18:44Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 18:45Speaker 6: He would like floor to ceiling everything was in that place.
- 18:49Speaker 3: Yeah. No, he was a very nice guy in real life. Great,
- 18:53Speaker 3: thanks for calling. Hey speaking a podcast and Johnny Carson.
- 18:57Speaker 3: If you love Johnny Carson. The best podcast on this
- 19:00Speaker 3: is It's called the Carson Podcast. There's about five hundred
- 19:05Speaker 3: episodes with everybody that was ever on the Tonight Show,
- 19:08Speaker 3: everybody that ever worked on the Tonight Show. It's called
- 19:10Speaker 3: the Carson Podcast. So check that out. There's hundreds of episodes.
- 19:16Speaker 3: You'll absolutely love it. The Carson Podcast. Let's go to
- 19:20Speaker 3: Mark in Nutley, New Jersey. Mark, how you doing?
- 19:24Speaker 5: Good morning, Mark, how are you good? I've been a
- 19:27Speaker 5: longtime listener. I listen to you up here in New
- 19:30Speaker 5: Jersey and then I listen to you when I'm in Florida.
- 19:32Speaker 3: Very good.
- 19:33Speaker 5: I'm on every day. Anyways, I have a twofold question.
- 19:37Speaker 5: First of all, how do you see this war ending?
- 19:39Speaker 5: Number one? And number two, who do you see getting
- 19:42Speaker 5: the next Republican nomination?
- 19:44Speaker 3: You know, it's not just you. Everybody asked that. You
- 19:47Speaker 3: got to not ask that. That's like saying who's going
- 19:49Speaker 3: to win the super Bowl in twenty twenty nine. You
- 19:51Speaker 3: can't predict.
- 19:52Speaker 6: That's a good question.
- 19:54Speaker 3: You can't predict that. There's no way nothing will be
- 19:59Speaker 3: the same in twenty twenty eight. Everything changes a thousand times.
- 20:02Speaker 3: That's fun to make guesses, but they don't mean anything
- 20:04Speaker 3: right now. So well, I'll just say whoever you like, Uh, well,
- 20:10Speaker 3: you got a lot of great choices. You got Rubio,
- 20:13Speaker 3: you got Vance, you got also check back. Historically, usually
- 20:17Speaker 3: whoever the nominee is going to be has not yet
- 20:19Speaker 3: appeared at this point, especially on the Democratic side. At
- 20:22Speaker 3: this point, nobody knew of Bill Clinton, nobody knew of
- 20:24Speaker 3: Mike Decaucus. Usually the nominee has not appeared yet, so
- 20:29Speaker 3: or Obama. Yeah, good point, Well, thanks for calling. Let's
- 20:33Speaker 3: go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent how you doing.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Good morning, Mark, Good morning Mara. Mark. Apparently from what
- 20:41Speaker 2: I've been hearing and from people calling in other shows,
- 20:44Speaker 2: the Democrats and their minions and our European allies are
- 20:49Speaker 2: okay with the Iranians killing a few hundred American soldiers
- 20:53Speaker 2: and tourists over the years here and there.
- 20:55Speaker 5: What is it?
- 20:56Speaker 2: Facts only two hundred soldiers twenty tourists up play is
- 21:00Speaker 2: really now? Let them be Let it go on. Mark.
- 21:03Speaker 2: I believe that the Federal Trade Commission should threaten the
- 21:09Speaker 2: big three oil companies. We're looking at their books to
- 21:13Speaker 2: see if they're price goalging because, as Richard from South
- 21:17Speaker 2: Carolina said from Myrtle Beach, if these companies bought this oil,
- 21:23Speaker 2: which they're not going to you know, the ships are
- 21:25Speaker 2: not coming in every day to supply the oil for
- 21:27Speaker 2: the week. If they have these this oil was in
- 21:30Speaker 2: the storage tanks before the war began, and they're selling
- 21:35Speaker 2: it at these extremely high prices, then they are price galgy.
- 21:40Speaker 3: What they're doing is there's no reason to raise the
- 21:42Speaker 3: price of oil because we produce all our own oil,
- 21:44Speaker 3: has nothing to do with overseas, but they've raised it
- 21:46Speaker 3: to match the world price. If you clamp down on them,
- 21:49Speaker 3: and they'll let them do it. They'll just cut production.
- 21:51Speaker 3: They'll create a shortage and they'll raise the price.
- 21:53Speaker 2: Well, I was just the thought came up because maybe
- 21:57Speaker 2: with the threat of the Trump of Federal Trade Commissioned
- 22:01Speaker 2: saying hey, we want to see your books, man, the.
- 22:04Speaker 3: Books will just they'll show that they race it to
- 22:06Speaker 3: match the world price, and if you tell them not to,
- 22:08Speaker 3: they'll cut production. They'll cut production.
- 22:10Speaker 2: And then yeah, Unfortunately, you're right, Mark, you're you're right.
- 22:15Speaker 2: I don't have a comeback for that.
- 22:16Speaker 3: It happens once in a while. Well, great call, Vincent,
- 22:19Speaker 3: thanks for calling. Hey, when we come back, got lots
- 22:22Speaker 3: to talk to Bill O'Reilly about. He'll be with us
- 22:26Speaker 3: next on seven to ten. Worms, Please do New York.
- 22:31Speaker 3: Mark Simone worn well. Bill O'Reilly a TV phenomenon for years,
- 22:40Speaker 3: the best selling non fiction author on Earth. He's got
- 22:43Speaker 3: one of the biggest shows on YouTube. He should watch
- 22:45Speaker 3: his YouTube channel, Bill O'Reilly on YouTube and go to
- 22:49Speaker 3: Bill O'Reilly dot com and get everything. There's books, the columns,
- 22:53Speaker 3: the TV show, billoreilly dot com. And he's got a
- 22:56Speaker 3: new podcast. It's doing great. It's called We'll do it live.
- 23:00Speaker 3: We'll do it live. You get the link to that
- 23:01Speaker 3: at Bill O'Reilly dot com. Bill O'Reilly, how you doing.
- 23:05Speaker 7: I'm hanging tough. How about you, Mark?
- 23:08Speaker 3: I'm good. So your latest will do It Live. I'm look.
- 23:10Speaker 3: The guest is Sid Rosenberg. Uh, that's amazing. You landed Sid.
- 23:15Speaker 3: You know, he's a very shy guy. He doesn't usually
- 23:17Speaker 3: like a lot of attention, but you got him. Huh yeah.
- 23:20Speaker 7: I had to stand on his front lawn and demand
- 23:24Speaker 7: that he come out to do We'll do it Live.
- 23:28Speaker 7: Worked out very well. He's got a very compelling story
- 23:31Speaker 7: for everybody. Almost committed suicide at one point and you know,
- 23:39Speaker 7: storm back and taking control of himself, which Americans need
- 23:44Speaker 7: to hear that. So we're happy that we could do that.
- 23:48Speaker 7: Uh that long form and then we have Chazz Parliamentary
- 23:53Speaker 7: coming up on Thursday.
- 23:56Speaker 3: Yeah great guy, and uh yeah, so take a listen.
- 24:00Speaker 3: We'll do it live as the podcast. Just go to
- 24:02Speaker 3: billoreilly dot com and get the link there. Hey, Barack Obama,
- 24:06Speaker 3: who was all forgotten about, is suddenly all around. Why
- 24:10Speaker 3: is he back? What is he up to?
- 24:12Speaker 7: Must be a kingmaker for the Democratic Party in twenty
- 24:16Speaker 7: twenty eight. He's still very actively involved in Democratic politics,
- 24:24Speaker 7: whereas Michelle is not. Michelle like to dump the whole thing.
- 24:30Speaker 7: But Barack Obama is a very smart guy and he
- 24:35Speaker 7: knows he'll never say it, maybe if I grilled him,
- 24:40Speaker 7: but he knows the Democratic Party is going down the chute,
- 24:45Speaker 7: and he thinks he might be able to save it.
- 24:49Speaker 7: So he's starting to up his visibility a bit.
- 24:54Speaker 3: So you mean it's going down the shoot by going
- 24:56Speaker 3: so far to the crazy left, and he wants to
- 24:58Speaker 3: pull it back to the center.
- 25:00Speaker 7: It's actually more than that, you know, that's the prevailing
- 25:03Speaker 7: wisdom that the progressives are taking it over and they
- 25:07Speaker 7: want the trans guys playing with the women on the
- 25:10Speaker 7: soccer field or whatever it may be. But it's really
- 25:13Speaker 7: more than that. There is a segment in the Democratic
- 25:18Speaker 7: Party rather large one who believes we are not a
- 25:23Speaker 7: good country, we are not a noble nation, and we
- 25:27Speaker 7: need to start all over again with everything, including the
- 25:31Speaker 7: Supreme Court. You know, just knock it all down, throw
- 25:34Speaker 7: it all out, burn it all up. And that is
- 25:41Speaker 7: catching out with some young people can't seem to pay
- 25:44Speaker 7: their bills because a they don't plan it, b they
- 25:49Speaker 7: don't really live in the realistic world where they think
- 25:53Speaker 7: they're going to go out and make three hundred thousand
- 25:55Speaker 7: dollars a year.
- 25:56Speaker 2: They're not.
- 25:59Speaker 7: So Barack Obama sees this, sees his trend that began
- 26:05Speaker 7: with AOC and Bernie Sanders now taking a momentum, and
- 26:08Speaker 7: he sees this as a disaster because most Americans are
- 26:12Speaker 7: not going to subscribe to this. I believe the New
- 26:17Speaker 7: York City is different than the rest of the country,
- 26:20Speaker 7: and we have a guy as mayor who believes this fervently.
- 26:25Speaker 7: That's what Mandanni believes. We are not a noble nation
- 26:30Speaker 7: and that he's going to crush every kind of tradition
- 26:34Speaker 7: that he can while he's in office. Obama sees that
- 26:37Speaker 7: as dangerous.
- 26:40Speaker 3: That's fascinating. But you know who one of the worst
- 26:42Speaker 3: was that That was Michelle Obama. So Barack couldn't cure
- 26:46Speaker 3: his own wife. How is he going to cure the
- 26:47Speaker 3: Democratic Party?
- 26:49Speaker 7: Well, I don't know anything about with her, he's going
- 26:52Speaker 7: to cure anything. I'll tell you that Michelle Obama is
- 26:55Speaker 7: all emotion and Barack Obama is all illect and they
- 27:01Speaker 7: don't cross over. So whereas Michelle Obama made mistakes in
- 27:08Speaker 7: her rhetoric at times it was emotion driven. When Barack
- 27:12Speaker 7: Obama makes a mistake that comes out to hurt him,
- 27:16Speaker 7: like the guns and Bibles line, that was not emotional.
- 27:22Speaker 7: I mean that's who he sees the opposition as, you know,
- 27:26Speaker 7: the guns and Bible people.
- 27:28Speaker 3: Yeah, well, when you want to get something done, an
- 27:30Speaker 3: emotional person isn't the right choice, and an intellectual is
- 27:33Speaker 3: usually kind of useless.
- 27:35Speaker 7: So yeah, but Barack Obama's got cache in the Democratic
- 27:42Speaker 7: Party far more than anyone else.
- 27:44Speaker 3: Yeah, that's interesting. So but you know, as the first
- 27:47Speaker 3: black president, here's the guy who really could have helped
- 27:50Speaker 3: really heal the nation, and in many ways he didn't.
- 27:55Speaker 3: It was he wasn't successful at that.
- 27:58Speaker 7: They all get trapped, including President Trump. They all get
- 28:03Speaker 7: trapped in trying to please their most fervent supporters rather
- 28:09Speaker 7: than stepping back and say, look, this is my role
- 28:11Speaker 7: in history, this is what I want, is what I
- 28:14Speaker 7: want to do for the country, is what I want
- 28:16Speaker 7: to accomplish. Then that other equations in But I got
- 28:22Speaker 7: to make sure that Chuck Schumer's down with it. You
- 28:26Speaker 7: can't do that. You got to go up against the
- 28:30Speaker 7: establishment because the establishment is basically the cause of most
- 28:35Speaker 7: of our problems here. It's not the individual Americans. Most
- 28:39Speaker 7: of us are hard working people with a pretty good vision.
- 28:43Speaker 7: It's the establishment that runs up a forty trillion dollar
- 28:47Speaker 7: national debt, not the guy living down the street. And
- 28:53Speaker 7: I think Barack Obama fell into that category where he
- 28:58Speaker 7: wanted to do certain things that would have been very
- 29:01Speaker 7: good for the country, but he got trapped in the
- 29:06Speaker 7: actual swamp politics and that hurt him.
- 29:11Speaker 3: You know, Bill O'Reilly, when you want to think or
- 29:13Speaker 3: get something done, you probably go in your office, close
- 29:15Speaker 3: the door. You're all alone. But you've been in the
- 29:17Speaker 3: White House. The president never really alone. There's a thousand
- 29:21Speaker 3: people coming and going, There's a million assistants. How hard
- 29:24Speaker 3: is it to think straight when you're sitting there in
- 29:26Speaker 3: the White House.
- 29:27Speaker 7: Well, he's got all night because he doesn't sleep, so
- 29:33Speaker 7: he's wandering around up there all night, his second floor residents.
- 29:38Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 29:39Speaker 7: You know, every time I speak to President Trump, he's
- 29:44Speaker 7: very clear and coaching on what he wants to do.
- 29:47Speaker 7: He's not foggy like Biden, and he's not equivocating like
- 29:52Speaker 7: even Ronald Reagan did. Sometimes, you know, in a border
- 29:56Speaker 7: would be a great example of a Reig equivocation. He
- 30:02Speaker 7: didn't think it out. Trump knows what he wants to do,
- 30:06Speaker 7: but sometimes he doesn't know how to get there. And
- 30:10Speaker 7: that's what I said in this Iran thing, when I said,
- 30:15Speaker 7: and I could have been on your show. That is
- 30:17Speaker 7: the biggest gamble that Donald Trump's ever taken in his
- 30:21Speaker 7: life anything, because the uncertainty of the opposition, the Mullas,
- 30:27Speaker 7: who do not care whether their people live or die,
- 30:31Speaker 7: then you get you're putting them into a category that's
- 30:35Speaker 7: almost impossible to deal with. You know, if somebody doesn't
- 30:40Speaker 7: care about their own people, then you have very little
- 30:45Speaker 7: leverage over them. And that's what we're seeing now is
- 30:50Speaker 7: that Trump would love to make a deal. He has
- 30:53Speaker 7: made very good offers to the Maulas where they could
- 30:57Speaker 7: rebuild their country. All they have to do is with
- 30:59Speaker 7: the weapons inspectors and they won't even do that. Yeah, well,
- 31:03Speaker 7: I don't know how it plays out.
- 31:05Speaker 3: Yeah, he's not a politician, he's a billionaire entrepreneur. And
- 31:08Speaker 3: those guys, you know, they'll go away out in a limb,
- 31:10Speaker 3: they'll take a gamble, they'll pull the trigger on an idea,
- 31:13Speaker 3: but they also know how to bob and weave and
- 31:17Speaker 3: in the middle of chaos figure out a way out.
- 31:19Speaker 3: So don't you think it'll all end?
- 31:20Speaker 2: Well, I don't know.
- 31:23Speaker 7: You know, he doesn't have much time now because five
- 31:27Speaker 7: dollars a gallon of gas is coming by Memorial Day
- 31:33Speaker 7: and people are really cheat off. They don't understand Iran,
- 31:35Speaker 7: they don't care about Iran, they don't want to hear
- 31:38Speaker 7: about Iran anymore. Yeah, it's a tough one.
- 31:43Speaker 3: Bill O'Riley. What is Marco Rubio doing going to see
- 31:46Speaker 3: the Pope? What's that all about?
- 31:48Speaker 7: That's daytime? So it doesn't do anybody any good to
- 31:52Speaker 7: have a feud between the Pope and the president. And
- 31:57Speaker 7: then Maloney, the Prime Minister Serve Italy was a big
- 32:01Speaker 7: Trump supporter and you know, came down on the side
- 32:04Speaker 7: of the Pope. She almost had to in Italy. And
- 32:09Speaker 7: Rubyo is a very good negotiator, I think, And he's
- 32:13Speaker 7: going over there to make everybody friends again, and I
- 32:16Speaker 7: think he's going to be successful in doing that.
- 32:18Speaker 3: Oh that's interesting. Can we do that with you in
- 32:20Speaker 3: Gavin Newsom?
- 32:23Speaker 7: Yeah, anytime, you know. I posted a I think from
- 32:30Speaker 7: then Mayor newsoone in San Francisco where he demanded, I
- 32:33Speaker 7: get fired off the Jimmy Kimmel stuff. There's so much
- 32:38Speaker 7: hypocrisy in the media. And let me tell you a
- 32:41Speaker 7: quick one w O Riiss might be interested in.
- 32:45Speaker 2: It was a savage.
- 32:46Speaker 7: Murder out here on Long Island over the weekend. A
- 32:49Speaker 7: mother of three and another woman knife to death by
- 32:53Speaker 7: an El Salvador and migrant. Okay, front page yesterday in
- 32:58Speaker 7: the New York Post front page and horrific. Newsday didn't
- 33:05Speaker 7: cover it. Yeah, wow, And it just shows you how
- 33:12Speaker 7: the press no longer does the press even pretend Newsday
- 33:19Speaker 7: would like to have amnesty for Billy gal allience. That's
- 33:23Speaker 7: what the editorial policy the paper is. The New York
- 33:27Speaker 7: Post would like to throw every one of them out
- 33:29Speaker 7: of here. So therefore you get that kind of news coverage.
- 33:35Speaker 7: And when I was going over this, I went, oh
- 33:38Speaker 7: my god, you don't cover this story in Long Island.
- 33:46Speaker 7: And that's where we all are. And it's very hard
- 33:49Speaker 7: for Americans to get the straight story anymore because a
- 33:53Speaker 7: lot of times it's just censored, just don't tell you
- 33:57Speaker 7: about it. So with Donald Trump and moron, I don't
- 34:01Speaker 7: know how that's going to come out, you know, but
- 34:04Speaker 7: I'm praying it comes out well for America, as everybody
- 34:08Speaker 7: should be.
- 34:08Speaker 3: Yeah, but news Day's always been very slanted, very to
- 34:11Speaker 3: the left.
- 34:11Speaker 7: And yeah, but that's really egregious. Yeah, I mean really
- 34:17Speaker 7: a mother of three stabbed to death at a Wendy's
- 34:22Speaker 7: and then the guy stabs another woman to death and
- 34:25Speaker 7: you don't cover it.
- 34:27Speaker 3: Yeah, because it's an ill you've been.
- 34:28Speaker 7: Around a long time, Sam, Yeah, I mean you gotta
- 34:32Speaker 7: cover it. But that's how the press is dissolved.
- 34:38Speaker 3: Wow. Well, Bill O'Reilly, great stuff. Everybody check out. Go
- 34:42Speaker 3: to Bill O'Reilly dot com. You get the TV show,
- 34:44Speaker 3: the column. You can get his books there. Also, you

- 34:55Speaker 3: and you get it there.
- 34:57Speaker 7: Yeah, we got a little icons, you can just pray something.

- 35:04Speaker 7: of intellectual advancement.
- 35:08Speaker 3: It's very good stuff. Let's go to Bill O'Reilly dot
- 35:11Speaker 3: com and get everything there. Bill O'Reilly, thanks for being

- 35:34Speaker 3: wor mister New York Marcemone he's on sevent ten woo. Well,
- 35:42Speaker 3: you know, Cash Bettel was on Sean Hannity podcast and revealed,
- 35:47Speaker 3: you know, all the Russia Gate, the Russia hoax, the
- 35:49Speaker 3: witch hunt, the phony Russia collusion stuff, all the documents,
- 35:54Speaker 3: all the paperwork on it were hidden in a secret
- 35:57Speaker 3: room at the FBI. When he got there, he found
- 35:59Speaker 3: out they had a secret room, was not even on
- 36:01Speaker 3: the floor plane or a blueprint, and the documents were
- 36:05Speaker 3: in these burned bags ready to be destroyed. Hopefully they
- 36:07Speaker 3: recovered them, but obviously Combian Company and all those former
- 36:13Speaker 3: FBI people engaged in a big cover up. Hey, we're
- 36:16Speaker 3: out of time. I'll be back tomorrow. Here every day
