- 0:12genuine. Issues.
- 0:13Brought to you by the hypnotherapist, demanded by
- 0:16celebrities, CEOs and even royalty, Adam Cox.
- 0:20These recordings took place live from Evans Clinic in London's
- 0:24world famous Harley Street, so get yourself comfortable and
- 0:31enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:37Hi, I'm Adam here and I'm sat in my studio with a Las Vegas
- 0:41T-shirt on because in two weeks time I'm going to be speaking at
- 0:45the world's biggest hypnotherapy conference.
- 0:48And I'm going to be talking about podcasting to teach other
- 0:50hypnotherapist how to launch their own podcast.
- 0:53But I'm also going to be talking about nested loops, which is
- 0:55this idea of stories within stories within stories.
- 0:58And if you listen to my podcast, you probably have heard some of
- 1:02those sessions that have multiple levels of
- 1:05disassociation. What I'm going to be doing today
- 1:08in the hypnotherapy session you're about to listen to was
- 1:11created for an entrepreneur, a business leader.
- 1:14And they wanted to make the step up from being a one man band, a
- 1:20sole trader into a growing business where they could
- 1:24increase their revenue, increase their profitability.
- 1:27And what this particular client found themselves doing is they
- 1:30were doing the bits they were really good at, which was
- 1:33winning the business and overseeing the implementation of
- 1:37the contracts. But they were also having to do
- 1:40all of the admin and certain elements of the marketing and
- 1:43all of the bits that were kind of bogging them down and more
- 1:47importantly, getting in the way of them actually growing their
- 1:50business. So this does use that story
- 1:53within story. It has a couple of levels of
- 1:57disassociation. So this kind of lake in the
- 2:00mountains, we're going to get to that level.
- 2:02And also this kind of holographic vision of their
- 2:05future to give the key suggestion as to what it would
- 2:10be like if they were to do 2 key things, which can be very
- 2:13powerful in business, and that is delegation and automation.
- 2:18So delegation basically is finding other people to do the
- 2:21stuff that they're either better at or you don't really want to
- 2:24do. And a lot of people listening to
- 2:26this, we'll be delegating at some level.
- 2:28Maybe you don't wash your own car or do your own gardening.
- 2:32You pay someone else to do that whenever you need to.
- 2:34Or it might be that you hire a cleaner once a week.
- 2:37That's a form of delegation. You're taking the responsibility
- 2:41and finding someone else to do that.
- 2:43This particular client needed someone to do lots of research
- 2:48in terms of putting together quotations, and that required
- 2:51attention to detail and it required lots of back and forth.
- 2:56And they could do that, they just weren't the best person to
- 2:59do that. So there's this element of
- 3:01delegation, finding someone exceptionally good at that
- 3:04particular thing and then freeing up the time to focus on
- 3:08what they're good at. Automation is, is similar to
- 3:11delegation, but it's using technology to do that.
- 3:15And that might be software or SAS systems or auto responders,
- 3:20certain things that mean that you don't have to do it
- 3:22manually. So if you are in the world of
- 3:25business or even in, in leadership, in management, then
- 3:30the principles of delegation and automation will still be very
- 3:33useful for you. Also, what's worth sharing with
- 3:38you is that I've recently launched a membership called the
- 3:42Hypnotist Secret Circle. And one of the categories of
- 3:46hypnotherapy sessions is all about business,
- 3:49entrepreneurship, success and leadership.
- 3:52So if you are in the realm of business and you would like,
- 3:56let's say more tailored hypnosis in that area by becoming a
- 4:00member of the Secret Circle, which is the membership.
- 4:03And by the way, there's a free trial that you can click a link
- 4:06in the description to access all of this completely free.
- 4:10Then you'll be able to see hundreds of business and
- 4:14financial related and success related hypnotherapy sessions.
- 4:18So if you like this kind of content, you might want the
- 4:20stuff without the intro, the outro and the explanation and
- 4:23just the hypnosis. So check that out.
- 4:25And if you like the idea of working with me directly,
- 4:28there's also a link in the description where you can
- 4:30schedule a free consultation call so we can discuss what
- 4:33hypnosis would be if it was completely tailored to you.
- 4:38But if you like the idea of growing your business or
- 4:41advancing in your career, you might get some value from this
- 4:43session. And the best way to benefit from
- 4:45this session is to find a quiet, comfortable place where you're
- 4:49not going to be disturbed to relax and enjoy the session.
- 5:17Take a deep. Breath in, and as you breathe
- 5:23in, breathe in that long relaxing breath and as you
- 5:31exhale. Release all the.
- 5:33Tension from your eyelids. Feel your eyes getting heavier
- 5:38and heavier as you notice your breathing slowing down,
- 5:45breathing in relaxation and exhaling tension, enabling you
- 5:53to feel like you're drifting deeper and deeper.
- 6:00Relaxed. That's in.
- 6:05Quickly scan your body for any clues of tension, and sometimes
- 6:12it's lurking muscle tissue and tendons, and the clues are
- 6:19tightness. Tightness in the jaw, on the
- 6:24forehead, heaviness in the arms. But as you breathe in that
- 6:31resourceful feeling of relaxation, get a sense that as
- 6:38you exhale, that tightness, that tension is leaving your body in
- 6:45your outward breath, enabling you to drift deeper and deeper,
- 6:56relaxed. With each.
- 6:58And every breath, and the deeper you breathe, the more relaxed
- 7:06you become. And the more relaxed you become,
- 7:12the deeper you breathe. As you feel a wonderful sense of
- 7:20drifting, keep your physical body exactly where it is and
- 7:28allow your imagination to drift up into the sky and start to
- 7:35drift over clouds, over countryside, over cities.
- 7:44Keep allowing your imagination to drift towards the mountains.
- 7:53Keep drifting as you could imagine seeing a mountain range
- 8:01far off in the distance as you imagine how good it would feel
- 8:07to float, fly, drift or glide toward that mountain range,
- 8:20enabling you to feel the lightness almost like you're an
- 8:27eagle or a Falcon gliding on thermals.
- 8:33No effort required to glide towards the mountains and
- 8:42imagine how you would feel to have the eyesight of an eagle.
- 8:49But from miles away, you can imagine seeing that foggy lake
- 8:56with pristine waters surrounded by majestic mountains continue
- 9:06to collide towards the lake. And imagine drifting down now,
- 9:18drifting down, gliding all the way down over forests and trails
- 9:28and big boulders and rocky landscapes, all the way down to
- 9:33that foggy lake. And the moment you touch down by
- 9:40the side of the lake, you are no longer a gliding eagle.
- 9:47You are the most courageous and enthusiastic version of you.
- 9:58Allow the visionary within you to look out at this foggy lake
- 10:07and continue to breathe in relaxation and exhale tension,
- 10:16enabling you to drift deeper and deeper, Eyelids getting heavier,
- 10:23jaw getting looser, neck and shoulders releasing tension with
- 10:30every single breath. Deeper and deeper, relaxed.
- 10:40And as you stare out over the lake, allow the fog to represent
- 10:49overwhelm and uncertainty. It's difficult sometimes to know
- 10:57what to do when it feels like there's so many different things
- 11:03to do. And I want you to get a sense
- 11:11that there is only two things that would be useful for you to
- 11:17do, Delegate and automate. And just allow those two words
- 11:30to feel like they're planting seeds of ideas deep in your
- 11:36subconscious mind as you start to think what level of impact it
- 11:43would be if you delegated all of those repetitive, monotonous,
- 11:52time consuming things to someone that loved doing those things.
- 12:00Someone competent, intelligent, organized and thorough.
- 12:06Someone with excellent attention to detail that if you were able
- 12:14to delegate what is boring or frustrating or tiring for you to
- 12:25someone that was exceptionally good at those things.
- 12:32I want you to feel that not only would you be buying yourself a
- 12:40gift of months of additional time each year, but also being
- 12:50able to let go of frustration, resentment.
- 13:00Because sometimes doing things that you can do but shouldn't do
- 13:06is like a drain. Draining your batteries for the
- 13:10very power and energy that could be utilized for something that
- 13:16is ideal for you to deploy in a different way.
- 13:25And if you're unconscious, has a sense that by delegating the
- 13:32repetitive, monotonous and tiring work to someone that
- 13:36loves doing that, that it would take your business and life in a
- 13:41wonderfully positive direction. Let me know by nodding your head
- 13:48and as you start to look out over the lake, see the fog start
- 13:54to disappear, the air gets clearer as you start to replace
- 14:05overwhelm and confusion with clarity and optimism.
- 14:14And then have a sense those things the technology could
- 14:22automate that would also free up more of your time.
- 14:31Potentially this could mean that you can serve twice as many
- 14:36clients, generate significantly more revenue, and what if one it
- 14:48becomes a catalyst to empower the other?
- 14:53I want you to get a sense that if you're able to automate a
- 15:00process that generates or contributes to new clients and
- 15:07the process of acquiring a client, all of that interaction
- 15:13with contractors gets done by someone that would do that
- 15:20better than you can do that. I want you to get a sense of how
- 15:25many more clients each month you would generate, and maybe it
- 15:34would double, but if it double S, what if that leads to more
- 15:41profit and some of that profit could acquire more marketing to
- 15:48generate more leads, that generates more inquiries, that
- 15:54generates more clients, that generates more profit.
- 16:00I want you to get a sense that the real opportunity here is not
- 16:03to double revenue or double profit, but to dramatically
- 16:10increase revenue and profitability exponentially by
- 16:18you doing the things that you are uniquely skilled at and then
- 16:24delegating or automating those things that you're not.
- 16:32And if your unconscious feels that this would take your life
- 16:35and your business in a wonderful direction, let me know by
- 16:37nodding your head. And then see there's even less
- 16:43fog on the lake. And I want you to imagine in the
- 16:52clear skies above the lake, imagining A3 dimensional
- 16:57hologram of your future. I want you to imagine seeing
- 17:03yourself like you're someone else, like you're an actor in a
- 17:07three-dimensional holographic play.
- 17:12See yourself maybe six months or 12 months from now, when so many
- 17:18things are either delegated or automated.
- 17:24And maybe what started as one part time assistant then became
- 17:31a full time assistant, or maybe 2 full time assistants.
- 17:38Because whatever works can be scaled upwards, a winning funnel
- 17:46and effective lead generation process.
- 17:50You can simply funnel more traffic, more attention through
- 17:55that effective system, generating even more clients.
- 18:02I want you to imagine a future with less overwhelm, less
- 18:10frustration, and see yourself doing more of what you are
- 18:17uniquely good at. See yourself with more
- 18:25enthusiasm, accomplishment, success.
- 18:33See yourself with a spring in your step, a new level of
- 18:37intensity. See yourself with all of the
- 18:43benefits that running a business like that would bring.
- 18:49And then keep making tiny tweaks and amendments until this future
- 18:56feels compelling. The kind of future that you feel
- 19:07is so desirable that your unconscious wants you to move in
- 19:12that direction. And when you have the clarity of
- 19:17the future you desire, let me know by nodding your head.
- 19:22That's it. And sometimes a little bit of
- 19:31extra work frees up so much time that the initial extra work was
- 19:39worth it. And I want you to imagine two
- 19:46woodcutters in a forest near to this lake, and both have the job
- 19:56of chopping down a tree. The first immediately grabs the
- 20:04axe. And starts chopping away at the
- 20:08tree, whereas the second takes the time to sharpen the axe.
- 20:20Initially. That frantic, hard working
- 20:28woodcutter seems to be making more progress, but it's only
- 20:36after the axe has been sharpened that suddenly the experienced
- 20:44woodcutter can chop down the tree faster because they have
- 20:52used their wisdom, experience and strategy to give them an
- 20:59edge. Maybe finding that assistant is
- 21:06sharpening your axe, or maybe it's finding a woodcutter to
- 21:15chop the debt, the tree down for you.
- 21:20I want you to get a sense that you are giving yourself
- 21:24permission to work smart, to be creative, to keep your eye on
- 21:34the vision you desire for your future, and even if that means
- 21:44working a little bit harder to begin with.
- 21:48Your eye is on the prize of the future you desire.
- 21:55And sometimes it's a simple question, is the juice worth the
- 22:03squeeze in the sense that if the effort required is worth the
- 22:13benefits, the ROI of that effort?
- 22:20And I want you to ask yourself that question, does it make
- 22:26sense find the right assistant? Does it make sense to automate
- 22:35things that you're doing manually that technology could
- 22:39do for you? And if it makes sense, then do
- 22:45that thing. And if it doesn't change the
- 22:51perspective or the idea until it does make sense, when your
- 23:00unconscious mind is clear as to what needs to be done to move
- 23:07forward, to give you the return on investment of time, effort,
- 23:15and discernment, let me know by nodding your head.
- 23:19That's it. I want you to get a sense that
- 23:23you are just a few decisions and interactions away from making
- 23:34incredible progress in these areas and you are giving
- 23:39yourself permission to play the long game.
- 23:49And maybe as a child you heard the story of the hare and the
- 23:54tortoise. The hare sprinted but then got
- 24:01tired and the tortoise slow and steady.
- 24:10And I want you to consider sometimes it makes sense to take
- 24:18a bit longer to then get there quicker.
- 24:25You are perhaps weeks away, maybe even days from freeing up
- 24:34incredible amounts of time, energy and enthusiasm.
- 24:41That's it. Take a deep breath in through
- 24:43your nose and out through your nose as it's time to leave this
- 24:48lake, this future, and start to return all the way back to the
- 24:55here and the now. But taking all of this clarity,
- 25:00insight, energy, and enthusiasm with you, that's it.
- 25:09Breathing in through your nose and out through your nose.
- 25:12Just wiggle your fingers and wiggle your toes.
- 25:17Connect and calibrate into the here and the now as I now count
- 25:23from 1:00 to 10:00 to awaken you.
- 25:27Starting to count 123 waking up 456 more alert 7-8.
- 25:36Open your eyes. Open your eyes 910.
- 25:40Wide awake. Wide awake.
- 25:43Wide awake.
