Speaker 1: Welcome, everybody, to the NFL Locker Room Week 1. We
0:03
Speaker 1: did our Futures episode last week, but it is always
0:05
Speaker 1: going to be the same four crew. We got Delaney
0:08
Speaker 1: the Mule Walker in the building today. William Earl Compton,
0:13
Speaker 1: Clay Matthews, as always, is with us. My name is
0:16
Speaker 1: Terry Lawans. Week 1, NFL season is here. Dreams, aspirations, picks,
0:22
Speaker 1: and units. You be the decider of who's going to
0:24
Speaker 1: do the best this season. Drop a comment. Let's have
0:26
Speaker 1: a great time. Big hugs, tiny kisses. Boys, just a reminder,
0:45
Speaker 1: this is FanDuel's most rewarding season yet. In the YouTube,
0:49
Speaker 1: go ahead and leave your ex, Twitter, whatever you want
0:51
Speaker 1: to call it. Use your Twitter username in the YouTube
0:54
Speaker 1: below for a shot at bonus bets. Terms and conditions
0:59
Speaker 1: are linked in the description.
1:00
Speaker 2: Welcome to another episode of The Locker Room. Football is
1:04
Speaker 2: officially back, fellas. And as always, we are presented by
1:07
Speaker 2: the number one sportsbook in America, the FanDuel Sportsbook. And
1:12
Speaker 2: before we jump into all the touchdowns that are going
1:14
Speaker 2: to take place to where you're going to get a
1:15
Speaker 2: profit boost token or a bet reset, listen.
1:20
Speaker 1: Play responsibly. Play responsibly. Tell them.
1:23
Speaker 2: There's a responsible gaming section in the app. You can
1:26
Speaker 2: go to FanDuel.com. Play with a plan. But also Thursday
1:31
Speaker 2: Night Football is back. And what Thursday Night Football means
1:33
Speaker 2: is FanDuel is giving you a reason to celebrate every,
1:36
Speaker 2: every touchdown. For Niners versus the Rams, every touchdown pays.
1:40
Speaker 2: And here's how it works. You opt in, use your
1:43
Speaker 2: token on an eligible bet, then sit back and watch
1:46
Speaker 2: the touchdowns add up. Because every time either team finds
1:49
Speaker 2: the end zone, you will get bonus bets. It doesn't
1:52
Speaker 2: matter which team scores. Every touchdown can mean more bonus
1:55
Speaker 2: bets coming your way. Download the app or visit FanDuel.com
1:59
Speaker 2: slash Bustin to get started. Fellas, God, it's good to
2:04
Speaker 2: be back.
2:04
Speaker 1: We are officially like full capacity, full throttle on football.
2:09
Speaker 1: Last week we got college football. Now we put NFL
2:12
Speaker 1: in it. It's just, it's a great time to be alive.
2:14
Speaker 1: It's a great time to get after it this football season.
2:17
Speaker 1: And I couldn't be happier with my three fellas. Yeah, man. Clay?
2:21
Speaker 1: There he is, man. In Australia. Week one of the
2:26
Speaker 1: NFL season and he goes to foreign soil. Yeah.
2:30
Speaker 3: We are.
2:32
Speaker 1: This dude says he got a letter from Trump. Goes
2:34
Speaker 1: to foreign soil. Look at you, man.
2:37
Speaker 3: Look at him.
2:38
Speaker 1: It's not how I would handle my business, but yet
2:40
Speaker 1: here we are.
2:41
Speaker 2: Every week, too, we're going to be doing callbacks. We're
2:43
Speaker 2: going to be doing a lot of giveaways. Before we
2:46
Speaker 2: get started, the Ford leaderboard. Here's how the entire operation is.
2:49
Speaker 1: Going to work. Every week, the boys.
2:52
Speaker 2: are going to get 10 units to use on the slate.
2:56
Speaker 2: There will also be one extra unit to use on
2:59
Speaker 2: a parlay that we build of our choice. Every week,
3:02
Speaker 2: 10 units on the slate, and then one little simple
3:05
Speaker 2: unit to build our own parlay. The four leaderboard will
3:09
Speaker 2: show you who's in the lead, who's behind. If you
3:12
Speaker 2: watch the college football show, I lost 11 units last weekend.
3:17
Speaker 1: Taylor and Peyton were up. I feel good. Yeah. It's
3:20
Speaker 1: a nothing bird because it's week one. Yeah. And if
3:22
Speaker 1: Delaney Walker showed us anything, it's not how you start.
3:26
Speaker 1: It's how you finish.
3:27
Speaker 2: And it's all unit based. So even if I'm down
3:29
Speaker 2: 11 units, you can make big swings and get back
3:31
Speaker 2: in the game.
3:32
Speaker 3: Right.
3:33
Speaker 1: That's the thought process. Don't think about how down you are.
3:36
Speaker 1: Keep swinging. Keep swinging. Just keep going no matter what.
3:41
Speaker 1: You went to school this off season. How are you
3:42
Speaker 1: seeing the board this weekend?
3:44
Speaker 3: I think I see it clearly.
3:46
Speaker 1: Yeah?
3:46
Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm on point right now. I think
3:50
Speaker 3: everything I'm about to give you guys are hitters.
3:52
Speaker 1: Really?
3:53
Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
3:54
Speaker 2: I think our gentleman right here, Pete Golding and Joyer
3:57
Speaker 2: on X, the mule is back.
4:00
Speaker 1: You got to feel good.
4:00
Speaker 3: I got to feel good. I feel great. You know,
4:02
Speaker 3: I mean, when I see those comments about the mule
4:07
Speaker 3: and them trusting in me and following my lead, I mean, like,
4:10
Speaker 3: at the end of the day, this is what I do.
4:13
Speaker 1: This is what you do.
4:14
Speaker 3: This is what I do.
4:15
Speaker 2: This ain't the only thing you're going to be doing, though.
4:17
Speaker 2: You got your Titans pod coming out. So just, I
4:19
Speaker 2: know you were on bus and talking about it, but
4:21
Speaker 2: also in the locker room, you're not only going to
4:23
Speaker 2: be operating, playing 5D chess, you're also going to be
4:25
Speaker 2: hosting Titans podcasts all year long.
4:28
Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, that too, that too.
4:29
Speaker 2: So people love the mule. They can go check you out.
4:32
Speaker 2: Where do you find that? Where do you find the
4:34
Speaker 2: Titans pod?
4:35
Speaker 3: You can find it on Titans Radio, and then you
4:37
Speaker 3: can go to Tennessee's Titan.com, and you can find that. TennesseeTitans.com.
4:43
Speaker 1: Good. Annunciation and websites are very, very important. Very important.
4:47
Speaker 3: And then, you know, you can tune in at 6 o'clock,
4:50
Speaker 3: like I said, on Titans Radio. Yeah, you'll hear myself
4:53
Speaker 3: and two special guests will be on there today, too.
4:57
Speaker 1: Special, special guests. For episode one.
4:59
Speaker 3: For episode one, man. I'm excited to have you guys
5:01
Speaker 3: on there for episode one. I think that trade-off is
5:04
Speaker 3: just perfect. You know, that was y'all first episode. Hopefully,
5:07
Speaker 3: y'all crush it like I crushed y'all pod.
5:09
Speaker 1: So... Yeah, it was. It got us off the map.
5:18
Speaker 1: It also got us in a lot of trouble.
5:19
Speaker 3: A lot of trouble. A lot of trouble. I took
5:21
Speaker 3: a lot of heat for that. But it was worth
5:23
Speaker 3: it though, right? Wouldn't you say? Oh, 100%.
5:25
Speaker 1: Look at y'all now. There is no busting with the
5:27
Speaker 1: boys without Delaney Walker.
5:29
Speaker 3: I mean, like Clay would say, off my back. Okay.
5:34
Speaker 1: Are you, with game day, like this is your game day,
5:36
Speaker 1: your first podcast coming out, what are your nerves like?
5:39
Speaker 1: Because I know for me and Will... Like, what, the
5:41
Speaker 1: first 20 episodes? Yeah. We'd call each other every time
5:44
Speaker 1: we were going home, what's your cut? Hey, is this okay?
5:46
Speaker 1: You think this is all right?
5:47
Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm nervous about it just because, again, like, you
5:51
Speaker 3: guys started your own pod. Y'all got to create that identity, right?
5:57
Speaker 3: The identity I already have is Titan's identity, so I
6:00
Speaker 3: have to be well-rounded in that aspect of understanding that
6:05
Speaker 3: I can't say too much that'll get me in trouble. Sure.
6:08
Speaker 3: I'm a little nervous with that just because you guys
6:10
Speaker 3: know me, people out there, y'all know the Mule. I
6:13
Speaker 3: just say whatever and hope this shit sticks. So.
6:16
Speaker 1: Hell yeah. Yeah, yeah. That's what the editing's for.
6:19
Speaker 3: I don't want a lot of editing. That's why it's
6:21
Speaker 3: called Titans Uncut. You know, we don't want editing.
6:26
Speaker 1: Fans love it. The live audience absolutely loves it.
6:29
Speaker 3: I love the live audience.
6:31
Speaker 1: I love them. How do you feel about the Tennessee
6:34
Speaker 1: Titans this year? I feel good about them.
6:37
Speaker 3: I actually feel good about them.
6:38
Speaker 1: They're not being spoken about on the show. They're not
6:40
Speaker 1: picking their game against the Jets. Yeah, yeah.
6:42
Speaker 3: I feel good about them. I think we have a
6:46
Speaker 3: really good cast of guys. I think that if they
6:50
Speaker 3: can play together and just really buy into the philosophy,
6:56
Speaker 3: I think they can be a good team.
6:57
Speaker 1: Well said. Sounds like a guy that's still playing on
7:00
Speaker 1: the team.
7:01
Speaker 2: They're not on the slate. They are underdogs.
7:04
Speaker 1: Five and a half. Is that one that you're... No.
7:07
Speaker 1: It's not in your parlay? Oh, no. No?
7:10
Speaker 3: This week one parlay is an easy hitter. Mine is
7:14
Speaker 3: a layup. I just got to, you know, you got
7:16
Speaker 3: to get your feet wet. It's like, you know, right when...
7:19
Speaker 3: You know, winter is coming and you want to take
7:22
Speaker 3: a dip in the pool, but you just, you got
7:23
Speaker 3: to touch it first to see if the heater been on.
7:26
Speaker 3: If it ain't been on, you know, it's cold. So
7:28
Speaker 3: I'm trying to see if I got a cold one
7:30
Speaker 3: or I got a heater coming.
7:32
Speaker 1: So you're saying this week, hold on. So this week,
7:37
Speaker 1: one slate, you got a layup coming. You feel really
7:41
Speaker 1: good about it.
7:41
Speaker 3: I feel really good about it.
7:42
Speaker 1: But we're going to just dip our toe. You're not
7:45
Speaker 1: going to dive right in.
7:46
Speaker 3: I'm dipping my toe in for the new watchers.
7:48
Speaker 2: He feels good about his philosophy.
7:50
Speaker 3: Yeah, so look, the new watchers who are joining the
7:53
Speaker 3: show and like, man, I really like the Mule. I
7:56
Speaker 3: really want to see what he's all about. I'm getting
7:58
Speaker 3: them custom to me. So I'm going to give them like,
8:01
Speaker 3: let me just, let me dibble in this.
8:03
Speaker 1: Yeah, you're not going to pull back the full curtain.
8:04
Speaker 3: No, not yet. You know how I do.
8:06
Speaker 1: Show them a little leg.
8:07
Speaker 3: Week 10, I just start hitting them slappers.
8:11
Speaker 1: Yeah, and it's smart too because your history is start,
8:14
Speaker 1: Very slow.
8:15
Speaker 3: Very slow.
8:16
Speaker 1: Like molasses slow.
8:17
Speaker 3: Very slow, and I know this.
8:18
Speaker 1: But then you speed up. So you're just playing into
8:21
Speaker 1: your own strengths and weaknesses right now.
8:22
Speaker 3: Yeah, I told you. I went to school. I just
8:24
Speaker 3: really figured out. What was the name of that school again?
8:29
Speaker 1: Knieus. Knieus.
8:29
Speaker 3: Whatever the fuck it's called. I can't pronounce it.
8:32
Speaker 1: Can't pronounce it, but they taught you a lot of
8:33
Speaker 1: stuff about analytics. Yeah, man.
8:34
Speaker 3: You know, I was going on. I was finding these schools,
8:37
Speaker 3: and I'm.
8:37
Speaker 1: Like, damn, how do you say this school?
8:38
Speaker 3: Like, I knew it was going to be a problem.
8:40
Speaker 1: Right.
8:40
Speaker 3: Yeah, how do you say it?
8:42
Speaker 1: I don't know. I didn't go to the school. Canisius. Canisius.
8:45
Speaker 3: Canisius.
8:45
Speaker 1: Yeah.
8:46
Speaker 3: They gonna say we said it wrong though.
8:48
Speaker 1: Yeah.
8:48
Speaker 3: People gonna say we said it wrong. Because they actually
8:50
Speaker 3: messaged us, the school, the university.
8:52
Speaker 1: Did they?
8:53
Speaker 2: Yeah.
8:54
Speaker 3: They're saying- On the comments, they said, we are a
8:56
Speaker 3: real school. We can vouch for that.
8:58
Speaker 1: We can vouch for that. There I am. I don't
9:02
Speaker 1: blame you in the pronunciation. I can't pronounce it.
9:04
Speaker 3: I can't, yeah. I mean, I'm just bad with it.
9:07
Speaker 1: Comes in names and stuff. I'm terrible. When I committed
9:09
Speaker 1: to Michigan at a high school, Dave Ziegler laughed at
9:13
Speaker 1: me and said, you probably can't even spell Michigan. He
9:15
Speaker 1: told you that? And then I actually remembered the I
9:17
Speaker 1: in the middle, which is kind of a sneaky I.
9:19
Speaker 1: That's perfect. M-I-S-H.
9:22
Speaker 3: What's that?
9:23
Speaker 1: M-I-C-H-I-G-A-N.
9:27
Speaker 3: See, Will was a scholar though in high school. See,
9:32
Speaker 3: me and you, we Arizona, California, you know, the schools.
9:36
Speaker 1: You're saying Bontair, Missouri is a scholar?
9:38
Speaker 3: He was.
9:39
Speaker 1: He's saying like I was a scholar.
9:40
Speaker 3: He was a scholar.
9:41
Speaker 2: Whether or not you want to shit on Bontair.
9:43
Speaker 1: Missouri, it's crazy. When he started bringing up state jobs
9:46
Speaker 1: over here, looking at the crowd, I'd come back and
9:47
Speaker 1: he's like, well, he grew up. It's like everything Will
9:50
Speaker 1: has told me about Bontair, it's not a scholar or
9:53
Speaker 1: a town. That being said, you are a scholar.
9:55
Speaker 2: Wow.
9:55
Speaker 1: And it stands for knowledge.
9:57
Speaker 2: Top 10% of my class.
9:58
Speaker 1: Okay, come on. Yeah, I'm just questioning class. I'm not
10:01
Speaker 1: questioning Will. I'm just talking about the class. A honor roll.
10:05
Speaker 1: A honor roll?
10:07
Speaker 3: Yeah, the honor roll.
10:08
Speaker 1: What was your GPA? In high school?
10:11
Speaker 3: Yeah, high school.
10:12
Speaker 2: Like 10.4?
10:13
Speaker 1: What the hell was that? And now you're talking about education.
10:18
Speaker 2: Hold on.
10:18
Speaker 1: Or 10.6, something like that. I almost regret it. What
10:23
Speaker 1: is that? I don't want to insult Will. I don't
10:27
Speaker 1: want to be insulting. I was running out of half
10:29
Speaker 1: a bag of telling me his GPA. What is that?
10:32
Speaker 2: It was out of 11 at our school.
10:34
Speaker 3: What do you mean out of 11?
10:36
Speaker 1: It's no such thing. It is.
10:38
Speaker 2: It was in North County.
10:39
Speaker 3: It's no such thing, bro.
10:40
Speaker 1: Yes, it was. You sound like it's a Montessori school
10:42
Speaker 1: where they give you smiley faces and frowny faces. No, no, no, no.
10:44
Speaker 3: Were you in the same class all day or did
10:46
Speaker 3: you switch classes?
10:48
Speaker 1: No, we had hours, different classes all the time.
10:50
Speaker 3: Wait, wait.
10:52
Speaker 1: He said 10.4.
10:52
Speaker 3: When you went to Nebraska, they said your GPA was 10.6.
10:59
Speaker 1: In high school, my GPA was like a 10.6 out
11:01
Speaker 1: of 11.
11:01
Speaker 3: I mean, when they took it, though.
11:03
Speaker 1: It's a good score. It's a good score. That's a
11:06
Speaker 1: good score.
11:06
Speaker 3: I don't know.
11:07
Speaker 1: I've never heard that. Hopefully the comments can help me
11:09
Speaker 1: because I have never in my life heard of a
11:11
Speaker 1: GPA being described. Who told you that?
11:14
Speaker 2: Okay.
11:14
Speaker 1: I stand so firmly on how this conversation started. I'm
11:17
Speaker 1: telling you. If that was the GPA in high school,
11:20
Speaker 1: that equates out to like a 3.85. There we go. 3.85.
11:25
Speaker 1: So is that how y'all calculated it? In college, y'all
11:28
Speaker 1: was on the four scale.
11:29
Speaker 3: Yeah, so how you calculated it in high school is-
11:32
Speaker 3: When I was 11.
11:33
Speaker 4: Oh.
11:35
Speaker 1: Yeah, I never heard that. There were no schools. I promise.
11:39
Speaker 1: Do back in 08. Yeah. Do back in 08. Just
11:42
Speaker 1: type in back in 08. Come on, Cody.
11:48
Speaker 2: Quick break from the episode, quick break from the conversation. Again,
11:50
Speaker 2: make sure you are subscribed to this channel. Make sure
11:52
Speaker 2: you're dropping comments throughout the episode, but we are brought
11:55
Speaker 2: to you by Neutral. Neutral tastes great and tastes so
11:57
Speaker 2: much better than anything else that is out there. It's
11:59
Speaker 2: made with real vodka and real juice.
12:01
Speaker 1: That's what makes it delicious.
12:02
Speaker 2: Pineapple, watermelon. They also have new flavors, lime and strawberry.
12:06
Speaker 2: Perfect for social occasions because it's such a crowd pleaser,
12:09
Speaker 2: especially during football season.
12:11
Speaker 1: Think on the beach with friends, at an outdoor bar,
12:13
Speaker 1: on the lake, or even at your boy's birthday party.
12:16
Speaker 2: It's the perfect time of year to grab a 12-pack
12:18
Speaker 2: of Neutral for the beach or grab a bucket deal
12:20
Speaker 2: in your favorite bar to celebrate football season. Neutral, keep
12:24
Speaker 2: it tasty. Let's get back to this episode.
12:28
Speaker 1: Please say no right off the top.
12:30
Speaker 2: I swear.
12:31
Speaker 1: That's false, man. We did it out of 11.
12:34
Speaker 3: You can show us some paper that said that you
12:37
Speaker 3: had a GPA of 10.6.
12:39
Speaker 2: Maybe in a box back home. I swear, I'm not joking,
12:43
Speaker 2: our GPA scale was out of the ordinary.
12:45
Speaker 1: We've known each other for eight years and we've talked
12:48
Speaker 1: about GPAs. I've told you my story about going to
12:50
Speaker 1: Chaparral and I've never heard you talk about your GPA
12:54
Speaker 1: as 10.6.
12:55
Speaker 3: That's crazy.
12:56
Speaker 2: Oh, well, I mean, I got to college and then
12:58
Speaker 2: you kind of, I don't know, listen to you and
12:59
Speaker 2: basically everybody else. You realize that the whole GPA scale
13:02
Speaker 2: is out of four everywhere.
13:03
Speaker 1: Yeah.
13:04
Speaker 3: Top.
13:05
Speaker 1: I don't know. Including Bontair, Missouri. Yeah.
13:07
Speaker 3: Four is the top.
13:08
Speaker 1: But I was nice. You were nice. Sounds like you
13:10
Speaker 1: had a 3.6 GPA. Yeah.
13:12
Speaker 3: 3.85.
13:13
Speaker 1: A 3.85.
13:13
Speaker 4: 3.85.
13:13
Speaker 1: There is no issue about you being on a roll.
13:16
Speaker 1: Top 10%.
13:17
Speaker 3: What class you struggling for you not to get a 4.0?
13:22
Speaker 1: English, history.
13:23
Speaker 3: I was more of like a science math guy. I
13:25
Speaker 3: thought you was going to say farming.
13:30
Speaker 1: Farming? Yeah.
13:32
Speaker 2: Like we just got a class of- Land that plan.
13:34
Speaker 3: I mean, yeah. It's like the only school in Missouri
13:39
Speaker 3: in that county, right?
13:41
Speaker 1: In that county? Yeah.
13:43
Speaker 2: I mean, we were North County. There's West County. There's
13:46
Speaker 2: Park Hills.
13:46
Speaker 3: There's Farmington. Oh. Yeah.
13:49
Speaker 1: Like we had a lot, yeah. I never heard about
13:52
Speaker 1: high school doing farming.
13:53
Speaker 3: You crazy. High school's got farming. They do.
13:57
Speaker 1: FFA.
13:57
Speaker 3: FFA, I'm a member.
13:58
Speaker 1: High school did farming.
13:59
Speaker 3: You're supposed to do farming? I'm telling you, it's a
14:02
Speaker 3: real thing. Just because it's a small town, I'm assuming
14:06
Speaker 3: that they don't think people are going to get out
14:07
Speaker 3: of there. So like farming would be something that they offer.
14:12
Speaker 1: You won't make it out of here. You could do this. Yeah,
14:13
Speaker 1: it's Missouri.
14:14
Speaker 3: Sounds crazy. He's right. My whole time.
14:19
Speaker 2: We had like, it was called Unitech. Unitech, like a
14:23
Speaker 2: school kind of next door for people that, you know,
14:25
Speaker 2: do shit with their hands, manual labor, like electrician shit.
14:29
Speaker 3: Well, you mean like a trade school. Yeah, yeah, there
14:34
Speaker 3: you go.
14:35
Speaker 1: This one comes from Sir Kato. This is what he's
14:38
Speaker 1: been looking forward to. Been doing this series back in
14:40
Speaker 1: my life more than Taylor wanted Clay to bet the
14:43
Speaker 1: spread last season. Here's an idea. You should let the
14:46
Speaker 1: Back of the Bus boys get involved in some side
14:49
Speaker 1: picks parlays this year. Boys, would you like that? Yeah, audience,
14:53
Speaker 1: live audience, live audience. Live audience. You guys want to
14:57
Speaker 1: bring in a parlay each and every week to the
14:58
Speaker 1: locker room? Bleacher creature parlay. I like that.
15:03
Speaker 3: Does it matter?
15:04
Speaker 1: O.G. Penny slips. Jack McPherson and J.P. Hovey.
15:07
Speaker 3: Is it going to matter how many legs?
15:08
Speaker 1: I think it should be one for each guy that's
15:11
Speaker 1: in the live audience. One for each guy. Each guy
15:14
Speaker 1: brings in one. Sheesh. Terrible idea. That's a terrible idea.
15:17
Speaker 3: All right.
15:20
Speaker 1: We'll do it. Hey, we'll work with it. No bad
15:22
Speaker 1: ideas in a brainstorm. No bad ideas in a brainstorm.
15:25
Speaker 1: No bad ideas in a brainstorm. Fired up. Each leg. Yeah.
15:28
Speaker 3: Yeah.
15:29
Speaker 1: That's a great idea.
15:29
Speaker 3: Okay.
15:30
Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
15:31
Speaker 3: Yeah, not everyone has a parlay.
15:33
Speaker 1: So everyone brings in a leg and they make a parlay.
15:35
Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
15:36
Speaker 1: You were thinking each guy brings their own parlay in?
15:37
Speaker 2: Yeah.
15:37
Speaker 1: And we just have a line like a, yeah, no, no, no.
15:40
Speaker 1: I'm solid on that. This right here.
15:42
Speaker 3: Is why the people show up. No, right here. 100%.
15:45
Speaker 1: And for people that are worrying about Clay not being here,
15:50
Speaker 1: do not fret. His picks are in. And Cody from
15:54
Speaker 1: the graveyard, he will be giving out Clay Matthews' picks.
15:57
Speaker 1: So I'm fine with that. Moneyland Matthews is.
15:58
Speaker 3: Back this year. Yeah, yeah. I'm assuming he is.
16:02
Speaker 1: Let's jump into the slate, shall we? First game.
16:04
Speaker 2: Let's get into the slate.
16:05
Speaker 1: Buccaneers at the Bengals. Bengals are favorite, minus three and
16:08
Speaker 1: a half. Total points in the game is 50 and
16:10
Speaker 1: a half points. Delaney.
16:12
Speaker 3: You know, I'm still going to pick this pick, but
16:14
Speaker 3: to see my boy get paid right before the season,
16:17
Speaker 3: what did he get, like three years?
16:20
Speaker 1: Like 55. Yeah. Baker.
16:23
Speaker 3: And he a dog.
16:25
Speaker 1: I thought he deserved to get paid.
16:26
Speaker 3: I thought he deserved.
16:27
Speaker 1: Huh?
16:27
Speaker 3: Nobody questioning his dog. I wasn't saying y'all was. I'm
16:30
Speaker 3: just talking out loud. But even though my dog got
16:36
Speaker 3: paid and y'all know I rock with Baker, I just
16:40
Speaker 3: can't go against those Bengals right now, man. I just can't.
16:44
Speaker 1: Yeah.
16:45
Speaker 3: I just can't. You got your boy. If Burrow is healthy,
16:48
Speaker 3: as they say he is, I just don't think anybody's
16:51
Speaker 3: going to be able to stop him. I think they
16:52
Speaker 3: backloaded it. They uploaded the defense. They brought in– who
16:56
Speaker 3: did they bring in again? Dexter Lawrence. Dexter Lawrence and
17:01
Speaker 3: Jonathan Allen.
17:03
Speaker 1: Jonathan Allen. Yeah, yeah. Alabama guy. Alabama guy. Yeah, yeah.
17:07
Speaker 3: So I just really think that they trying to get
17:09
Speaker 3: that defense good. I feel like that was the struggle.
17:11
Speaker 3: The defense wasn't where they needed to be at. Now
17:13
Speaker 3: adding a few pieces up front, I think, and a linebacker.
17:16
Speaker 3: I want to say, was it Boy?
17:19
Speaker 1: Moy?
17:19
Speaker 3: What's the linebacker name? Boy Moffitt.
17:22
Speaker 1: Yeah.
17:23
Speaker 3: Adding him too. I just think that the. I really
17:26
Speaker 3: think the Bengals are going to get it done. So
17:28
Speaker 3: I'm going to have to go with the Bengals here.
17:29
Speaker 3: I'm taking them minus three and a half. I would
17:31
Speaker 3: say the dog thing, but they're favorite. And so got
17:36
Speaker 3: to go Bengals.
17:37
Speaker 1: Yeah.
17:37
Speaker 2: You going Bengals minus three and a half. How many units?
17:40
Speaker 1: One. One unit. Okay. The mule just dipping his toe
17:43
Speaker 1: into the pool. I'm starting off. I'll dip my toe
17:46
Speaker 1: in even less. One unit. Zero units. One unit. Bengals
17:51
Speaker 1: money line. Ooh. I know, that's weak. That's weak. Listen,
17:54
Speaker 1: this is week one football. This is week one football.
17:57
Speaker 3: I feel you.
17:58
Speaker 1: Week one football, Tampa Bay. Time out, time out.
18:01
Speaker 3: He ain't done yet.
18:02
Speaker 2: Bengals are by a point minus two and a half.
18:05
Speaker 3: Wait, you moving in line?
18:07
Speaker 1: Yeah, minus two and a half. Listen, I lost the
18:10
Speaker 1: war last year. I have lost it. I have conceded.
18:13
Speaker 1: My white flag has waved. We get to play the
18:16
Speaker 1: game how I want. It's unit based now, so you
18:17
Speaker 1: guys can structure any way you want to structure. So
18:20
Speaker 1: if you want to go Bangles Moneyline, you're more than
18:21
Speaker 1: welcome to.
18:22
Speaker 3: I'm not going Bangles Moneyline.
18:23
Speaker 1: You like that minus two and a half kicker?
18:25
Speaker 3: I like the minus two and a half, but I'm
18:27
Speaker 3: not going to move the line. I'm going to keep
18:29
Speaker 3: it fresh for Taylor for week one.
18:32
Speaker 1: Okay. And so I have 10 units I get to place, right,
18:35
Speaker 1: on six games. 10 units. We have one unit out,
18:38
Speaker 1: one unit out. Can I hear Clay's before I get
18:40
Speaker 1: my own? Oh, Clay is going to go. He got it.
18:42
Speaker 1: Cody's got it. Oh, yeah.
18:45
Speaker 4: Moneyline Matthews moves the line to six and a half,
18:48
Speaker 4: takes the Bengals at minus six and a half for
18:50
Speaker 4: two units.
18:51
Speaker 1: Are you kidding me? The football season, whether you're buying tickets,
18:57
Speaker 1: booking travel, or shopping team gear, protect your pockets with Visa.
19:02
Speaker 1: Tapping to pay for a bootleg jersey without checking the card,
19:04
Speaker 1: that is not a pro move. Tapping to pay with Visa,
19:07
Speaker 1: now that is a pro move. Visa runs more than
19:10
Speaker 1: 500 security checks to identify fraud before each transaction is approved,
19:14
Speaker 1: so you don't have to worry. except for how that
19:17
Speaker 1: medium jersey fits after a couple dozen winks. You're going
19:19
Speaker 1: to have to worry about that just a little bit.
19:20
Speaker 1: This season, remember, a great defensive play is when you
19:24
Speaker 1: pay with Visa. The most trusted way to pay for football,
19:27
Speaker 1: fans everywhere. Let's get back to this episode. Clay coming
19:30
Speaker 1: out serious for this one.
19:32
Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
19:33
Speaker 1: Money like Matthews, boy. Money six and a half. Wow.
19:37
Speaker 1: Two units? Wow. I like that. I like that pick
19:40
Speaker 1: a lot. Listen, Tampa Bay, I felt much better about
19:43
Speaker 1: Tampa Bay when Baker Mayfield sat there and he felt
19:46
Speaker 1: like he was disrespected by the team. The chip in
19:47
Speaker 1: the shoulder, like no one uses the chip better than
19:49
Speaker 1: Baker Mayfield. he loses mike evans he goes out to
19:53
Speaker 1: the west coast on paper this is probably like a
19:58
Speaker 1: middle of the road team just on paper now we
20:00
Speaker 1: saw baker mayfield how he had fourth quarter drives or
20:03
Speaker 1: last minute drives at the end of like four or
20:05
Speaker 1: five games early in the season last year willing his
20:07
Speaker 1: team into a win. I like that. Then you go
20:09
Speaker 1: over to the Bengals side, where you've never really had
20:12
Speaker 1: question marks in the offense other than Joe Burrow's health,
20:15
Speaker 1: but the defense has always just been horrendous. They were
20:17
Speaker 1: bottom in points allowed. They were 31st in multiple categories,
20:21
Speaker 1: and that's a positive for them. I think the only
20:25
Speaker 1: way you can go is up. I don't know how
20:27
Speaker 1: up that is, though. But I love a healthy Joe Burrow.
20:30
Speaker 1: I never loved the way the Bengals have started the
20:32
Speaker 1: last two seasons. But I do like points being scored
20:35
Speaker 1: in this game. I know statistically, unders kind of rule
20:39
Speaker 1: the world when it comes to NFL games, especially in
20:41
Speaker 1: week one. But I can see Joe Burrow throwing it
20:45
Speaker 1: all over the yard. I can see this Bengals defense, although, quote, improved,
20:49
Speaker 1: because I think it's really a tradeoff with Lawrence. Like
20:50
Speaker 1: you're getting a better run stopper. and an interior rusher,
20:53
Speaker 1: but you got Trey Hendrickson that goes over to the Ravens.
20:55
Speaker 1: So you're losing that edge pressure that's more traditionally gets
20:58
Speaker 1: to the quarterback. I see a lot of points happening
21:01
Speaker 1: in this game. 50 and a half looks really good.
21:02
Speaker 1: I'm going to put three units on that. I'm going
21:04
Speaker 1: to stay with the regular line. And I like, if
21:08
Speaker 1: I had to put it on a team, I would
21:10
Speaker 1: probably go the Bengals. But once I see that they're
21:12
Speaker 1: all in the Bengals, it's like, this is a clear
21:15
Speaker 1: Tampa Bay gritty team win on the road week one.
21:18
Speaker 3: So you're going over.
21:19
Speaker 1: I'm going to go over 50 and a half. He's
21:21
Speaker 1: going three units.
21:22
Speaker 2: Oh, no, no, no.
21:22
Speaker 1: I can't go three units. Why can't you? Because I
21:25
Speaker 1: like staring down the barrel in college football and playing
21:28
Speaker 1: that three area because I feel really good about those.
21:31
Speaker 1: But I only have 10 units across six games. So
21:36
Speaker 1: I'll go two units on this one because I need
21:40
Speaker 1: to spread it out because I'm looking at some of
21:41
Speaker 1: the slate and there's other games I like a lot
21:43
Speaker 1: more than this game. But I do like points. I
21:46
Speaker 1: like points. I think as excited as we want to
21:48
Speaker 1: get about Dexter Lawrence and he's a hell of a
21:49
Speaker 1: football player. Like, that one individual is not changing the
21:53
Speaker 1: totality of this defense. I think Joe Burrow scores. I
21:58
Speaker 1: think Chase is out there. Higgins, all the boys, they're
22:00
Speaker 1: absolutely rolling. And then the Buccaneers, they're like, well, we
22:02
Speaker 1: have to keep pace with what's taking place here. And
22:05
Speaker 1: they'll be able to do so with that defense and
22:06
Speaker 1: that back end. That's how I feel about this game.
22:09
Speaker 3: I mean, I like it. I just– past year is–
22:13
Speaker 3: Unders have been crazy.
22:14
Speaker 1: Crazy.
22:15
Speaker 2: You're going to get just a lot of bad-looking football
22:17
Speaker 2: in the first game.
22:18
Speaker 1: Yeah. It's going to be sloppy, but there is the
22:21
Speaker 1: preseason that always kind of plays into it. Two veteran quarterbacks,
22:24
Speaker 1: two coaches that have been there for a minute. The
22:26
Speaker 1: starters don't play a whole lot, especially even now. Yeah,
22:28
Speaker 1: but that's where it's even less. But if you look
22:30
Speaker 1: at teams that have younger quarterbacks compared to veteran quarterbacks,
22:35
Speaker 1: those veteran quarterback teams usually– are less penalized, more disciplined
22:39
Speaker 1: when you get the early weeks of the season because
22:41
Speaker 1: they've been through it before. They know how it's supposed
22:44
Speaker 1: to look. So when you're getting towards week one, there's
22:47
Speaker 1: more of a sense of urgency that they're placing on
22:48
Speaker 1: the rest of the team as opposed to younger quarterbacks
22:52
Speaker 1: that you kind of look at the preseason, it's sloppy
22:54
Speaker 1: and they can get mad about something, but they don't
22:56
Speaker 1: know necessarily how to fix it along with the coaching staff.
22:59
Speaker 1: So that's where I like this being a sharper game
23:02
Speaker 1: on the offensive side of the ball. Because there's not
23:04
Speaker 1: a whole lot to hang your hat on both sides.
23:06
Speaker 1: I think Buccaneers' defense was middle of the road.
23:09
Speaker 3: Yeah, they built here as well.
23:11
Speaker 1: Second game, Ravens at Colts. The Ravens are favored, minus
23:15
Speaker 1: three and a half. Total points in that game is
23:17
Speaker 1: 47 and a half points. Ravens last year said their
23:21
Speaker 1: best roster. Their defense was absolutely incredible. They ended up
23:25
Speaker 1: sputtering and falling apart. At the end of the year,
23:28
Speaker 1: not making the playoffs. Delaney, what do you think about
23:29
Speaker 1: this game?
23:31
Speaker 3: I think Lamar is still Lamar. I think they still
23:33
Speaker 3: have one of the top-tier offenses out there, Derrick Henry, Flowers.
23:41
Speaker 3: The defense, I just think they're going to get even better.
23:43
Speaker 3: The only thing that scares me is.
23:46
Speaker 2: It wasn't even that good last year, though.
23:49
Speaker 1: Name-wise, roster on paper-wise, very good.
23:52
Speaker 3: I mean, they didn't show up. You had a lot
23:54
Speaker 3: of talent that didn't show up. But I think that
23:57
Speaker 3: the new regime and the new fresh air in the building,
24:01
Speaker 3: things is going to change. Because you got to understand,
24:03
Speaker 3: when you have an old coach that you've been playing for,
24:05
Speaker 3: he had favoritism. You may have not been the best
24:09
Speaker 3: that year, but they keep you, right? Just because the
24:11
Speaker 3: coach know you have time with you, they keep you.
24:14
Speaker 3: But this new coach, hey, you don't show up. We
24:16
Speaker 3: get rid of your ass. You nobody. We want to
24:18
Speaker 3: bring our own players in here. I think sometimes that
24:20
Speaker 3: has a taste in guys' mouth where they have to
24:22
Speaker 3: understand they got to get up and, and show out.
24:25
Speaker 3: And I think that's what the Ravens going to do
24:27
Speaker 3: this year. So I'm going Ravens.
24:30
Speaker 1: Minus three and a half.
24:31
Speaker 3: Minus three and a half, one unit. And the Colts.
24:35
Speaker 3: Who are the Colts? We don't know what Daniel's going
24:38
Speaker 3: to do this year. We don't know. He showed up
24:40
Speaker 3: last year, got hurt. Team went from what? Seven and
24:43
Speaker 3: one to losing all eight games at the end of
24:46
Speaker 3: the year. You don't just lose that.
24:48
Speaker 1: All fair points.
24:50
Speaker 3: So we'll see what happens. We'll see what happens. But
24:52
Speaker 3: I think the Ravens are Gonna take this one.
24:56
Speaker 1: Willie? One unit. Okay.
25:04
Speaker 2: Colts plus three and a half.
25:06
Speaker 1: Colts plus three and a half.
25:08
Speaker 2: I see the offense. I'm a believer in Daniel Jones.
25:12
Speaker 2: I think Sauce Gardner now being there. He got traded
25:15
Speaker 2: mid-year last year. I don't... I'm in a spot where
25:21
Speaker 2: I'm questioning the Ravens. Like I wasn't last year, I
25:26
Speaker 2: was super confident in how they were going to perform
25:27
Speaker 2: that year. And they kind of, they shit the bed.
25:29
Speaker 2: Guy's got a lot of injuries. There's a part of
25:33
Speaker 2: me that just, and I don't know what it is.
25:34
Speaker 2: I can't explain it. We'll know more after week one.
25:38
Speaker 2: But them going on the road to Indy, I just
25:41
Speaker 2: like Indianapolis. Like I think Daniel Jones, you know, I'm
25:45
Speaker 2: bullish on him making a strong comeback. That offense operating
25:48
Speaker 2: at the, not necessarily at the level yet that they
25:50
Speaker 2: were before he got injured. But still, he's got another
25:54
Speaker 2: year in the system. A lot of continuity with that team.
25:57
Speaker 2: Love TJ Warren at tight end. Obviously, you know Jonathan Taylor.
26:01
Speaker 2: I just like what they have, so I'm going to
26:02
Speaker 2: go Colts plus three and a half.
26:04
Speaker 1: One unit, one simple unit. I like the Ravens in
26:08
Speaker 1: this game. I like the idea that everyone sat here
26:12
Speaker 1: in 2025, patted them on the ass, told them how
26:14
Speaker 1: great they were going to be, and they underperformed. not
26:17
Speaker 1: only on the offensive side of the ball, but the
26:18
Speaker 1: defense was supposed to be the strength of their team.
26:20
Speaker 1: Jesse Minter comes over from the Chargers, and if you
26:23
Speaker 1: look at where Jesse Minter's been as a DC, it's
26:27
Speaker 1: always elevated the gameplay on the defensive side of the ball.
26:31
Speaker 1: Now with those names and bringing Trey Hendrickson over, obviously
26:35
Speaker 1: there was a bunch of stuff, Max Crosby, Trey Hendrickson,
26:37
Speaker 1: all those things take place. Trey comes over from the
26:39
Speaker 1: Bengals and giving them a viable pass rush option now
26:43
Speaker 1: to where they have the back end of their defense
26:46
Speaker 1: led by Kyle Hamilton, who is probably the best safety
26:50
Speaker 1: in the game, if not top three in the game.
26:53
Speaker 1: He's going to be able to get around a little
26:54
Speaker 1: bit more. They plug and play him. They put him deep.
26:56
Speaker 1: They bring him in the box. The guy can really
26:57
Speaker 1: do everything. He's got a great nose for the game,
27:00
Speaker 1: similar to Caleb Downs at the Ohio State when he
27:01
Speaker 1: was in college. I like them having a big step forward.
27:05
Speaker 1: I think the way Derrick Henry's season started is not
27:09
Speaker 1: how it's going to start this year. This is a guy,
27:11
Speaker 1: another chip on the shoulder guy. This is a guy
27:13
Speaker 1: that 60 yards rushing in the game, he's not talking
27:15
Speaker 1: to anybody for a week. He takes things very personally,
27:18
Speaker 1: and he's very aware of how his season started last year,
27:21
Speaker 1: and it's going to be the run game. With him, Lamar,
27:24
Speaker 1: I think Zay Flowers has a big game as well
27:26
Speaker 1: as a receiving option. So I like the Ravens quite
27:29
Speaker 1: a bit here. I like that little extra juice, some
27:32
Speaker 1: new blood in the Ravens facility, and they still have
27:36
Speaker 1: a top-to-bottom great roster across the board. So as much
27:39
Speaker 1: as they underperformed last year, I see them making big
27:41
Speaker 1: steps this year. So that's two. AFC North teams that
27:45
Speaker 1: I'm a fan of right now going into this.
27:48
Speaker 2: So how many units?
27:49
Speaker 1: I didn't say units. I got to keep remembering that.
27:51
Speaker 1: I'm going to go two on this one as well.
27:54
Speaker 1: I like the Ravens.
27:55
Speaker 2: And with the three and a half. And we'll get
27:57
Speaker 2: you a point.
27:59
Speaker 1: Yeah, okay. No, I'll just go three and a half.
28:03
Speaker 1: I do love the under in this game. I was
28:05
Speaker 1: thinking about that one too. I do love the under
28:06
Speaker 1: in this game, but I took the over in the
28:08
Speaker 1: last one. You know what? Let me parlay. I'm going
28:11
Speaker 1: to parlay Ravens minus three and a half and then
28:13
Speaker 1: give me the over. As well, 47 and a half
28:16
Speaker 1: for two units. There we go, starting out hot. Yeah,
28:19
Speaker 1: I'm going to do that. Can I get Moneyline Matthews
28:22
Speaker 1: to pay, please, Cardi?
28:23
Speaker 4: Yeah, Moneyline Matthews is going to trail you. He's got
28:26
Speaker 4: Ravens minus three and a half for two units as well.
28:29
Speaker 1: Nice. Man, it's far with Moneyline Matthews, man. Huh? Huh?
28:35
Speaker 2: Smart by Moneyline Matthews. He's going against the grain for
28:39
Speaker 2: where he just took Moneyline's own favorites.
28:41
Speaker 1: I know. Moving the line a little bit more. It's
28:43
Speaker 1: like we finally told him, like, listen, you can have
28:46
Speaker 1: what you want. You've won the game. You can move
28:47
Speaker 1: the line and be as conservative as you want. He's
28:49
Speaker 1: essentially flipped the script on us all of a sudden.
28:51
Speaker 1: He's gone the opposite way now.
28:52
Speaker 4: Yeah.
28:53
Speaker 1: Now he's one of the most aggressive guys on the show. Yeah.
28:56
Speaker 1: In the short time we've been here.
28:57
Speaker 3: Yeah.
28:59
Speaker 1: He has to spice it up a little bit.
29:01
Speaker 2: Clay would also tell you to shop Gravely. We got
29:04
Speaker 2: a Gravely game of the week coming up.
29:06
Speaker 1: Buy yourself a lawnmower. Ain't that right, Clay?
29:09
Speaker 3: We got the Gravely game of the week.
29:12
Speaker 2: Buffalo at Houston. The line on this game is essentially
29:15
Speaker 2: a pick-em. Bills are favored by one and a half
29:18
Speaker 2: on the road. The over-under, the total on this game
29:21
Speaker 2: is 44 and a half.
29:23
Speaker 1: I love Josh Allen. I love Joe Brady. Is this
29:27
Speaker 1: the year for Josh Allen?
29:29
Speaker 3: MVP caliber right here.
29:31
Speaker 1: The same thing we say every year. I hope it is.
29:34
Speaker 1: They get a good wide receiver. He has a wide
29:36
Speaker 1: receiver one officially. Joe Brady, they got a great relationship.
29:39
Speaker 1: He's a fan of the show. I love him. We
29:41
Speaker 1: went to see them in camp last year, and he's like, oh, man,
29:44
Speaker 1: I wish I was wearing my bustle with the boys hat.
29:45
Speaker 1: He was that fired up. I got the Houston Texans
29:48
Speaker 1: winning this one outright. I got the Texans defense. Incredible.
29:52
Speaker 1: I think Tank Dell coming back. Woody Marks, CJ Stroud,
29:56
Speaker 1: contract year for him. I see them taking... control of
30:00
Speaker 1: this game. I'm going to put, how many units am
30:01
Speaker 1: I at right now? I'm at four units. God, I
30:04
Speaker 1: gotta look at the rest. Quick potty break. Boom. Lucy,
30:09
Speaker 1: shout out Lucy. No free shout outs.
30:12
Speaker 2: This is the daily espresso is my favorite hands down
30:15
Speaker 2: and that bite and burst thing where it pops in
30:16
Speaker 2: your mouth and hits you with flavor.
30:18
Speaker 1: God, I can't get enough of it. It never gets old.
30:20
Speaker 2: I mostly use it to lock in whether I need
30:22
Speaker 2: a little energy boost pre-workout post-workout doesn't matter. It works
30:26
Speaker 2: every which way these bad boys go up to 12 milligrams.
30:29
Speaker 2: So if you need a little something with a little
30:31
Speaker 2: more kick, they've got you covered and the thing we
30:34
Speaker 2: respect most. independently owned, proudly American made, not some big
30:38
Speaker 2: tobacco brand playing dress up.
30:40
Speaker 1: And that matters to the boys.
30:41
Speaker 2: Lucy is the only pouch doing long lasting on-demand flavor
30:45
Speaker 2: like this. You can get 20% off of your first
30:48
Speaker 2: order at lucy.co slash locker room.
30:50
Speaker 1: Use code locker room. And here comes a fine print.
30:53
Speaker 2: Lucy products are for adults of legal age and every
30:57
Speaker 2: customer's age verified warning. This product does contain nicotine and
31:01
Speaker 2: nicotine is an addictive chemical. Let's get back to the conversation.
31:05
Speaker 1: I'm going to put three units on Texas money line here. Damn.
31:10
Speaker 3: Wow.
31:10
Speaker 1: Yeah, like Texans money line. I like this game a lot.
31:13
Speaker 1: It's just defense, defense, defense always. And I also love
31:18
Speaker 1: the under. I also love the under. Imagine you take
31:21
Speaker 1: a big swing in week one.
31:22
Speaker 2: Go three units, parlay the money line.
31:24
Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm going to do that. I'm going to go
31:26
Speaker 1: three units. I'm going to go Texans money line. That's
31:28
Speaker 1: too small. It's too small, but they got him like
31:33
Speaker 1: seven times when they played him last year in Texas.
31:39
Speaker 1: I'm going to stick with Moneyline Houston Texans.
31:41
Speaker 2: That's it.
31:42
Speaker 1: Three units on that one.
31:44
Speaker 3: All I can say is Jim Leonard. Or Leonard, how
31:48
Speaker 3: you say his last name? That's all you got to say.
31:51
Speaker 3: Jim Leonard. I just don't want to mess his name up.
31:54
Speaker 3: Great coach. He ran the number one defense with Denver
31:56
Speaker 3: last year. That is a straight upgrade for the Buffalo defense.
32:01
Speaker 3: That's all I got to say. I think they're going
32:03
Speaker 3: to set. You got C.J. Everyone's saying C.J. is the problem.
32:06
Speaker 3: He's the problem. Great defense going against him, giving them
32:10
Speaker 3: the mismatches, the fake blitzes, the stunts around. I just
32:14
Speaker 3: think that the Bills is going to hold this game.
32:16
Speaker 3: Even though it's in Houston, I still think the Bills
32:18
Speaker 3: is going to take it. Can't take away from Josh
32:20
Speaker 3: Allen being MVP caliber. I said it already.
32:24
Speaker 1: So you're going Bills to cover.
32:26
Speaker 3: I'm going Bills to cover. One and a half, one unit.
32:29
Speaker 1: One unit.
32:29
Speaker 2: So 1-1-1.
32:31
Speaker 1: 1-1.
32:32
Speaker 2: I like tailing you. I like going Houston-Texas money line.
32:36
Speaker 2: Willie Anderson, this defense. And again, with C.J. Stroud, he's
32:40
Speaker 2: got a massive question mark over his head this year.
32:43
Speaker 1: But when C.J.
32:43
Speaker 2: Stroud was successful, he also had a very good running game.
32:46
Speaker 2: You mentioned Woody Marks, but also David Montgomery came to town.
32:49
Speaker 2: And David Montgomery is going to be a beast. They
32:51
Speaker 2: get the line of scrimmage going. They get the running
32:54
Speaker 2: game going. This defense is– there's a couple good defenses
32:57
Speaker 2: that you could say are the best in the league.
32:59
Speaker 2: But this– genetic specimen in Will Anderson coming after you.
33:05
Speaker 2: Stingley in the back end. I love this defense. And
33:09
Speaker 2: I think, again, they're going to get after Josh Allen's ass.
33:12
Speaker 2: You know, just for a little, I'm not saying the
33:13
Speaker 2: Buffalo Bills are out of it. I got Buffalo Bills
33:15
Speaker 2: going deep this year. But going into Houston, playing the Texans,
33:18
Speaker 2: I just, I love this defense. I think they're going
33:21
Speaker 2: to mow him down, shop gravely. And I like one
33:24
Speaker 2: unit on the Houston Texans.
33:26
Speaker 1: Money line. Come on, Clay. Can I ask you this?
33:30
Speaker 1: As much success as the Houston Texans had last year,
33:32
Speaker 1: what are the chances that they're actually still that good
33:35
Speaker 1: the following year? Like, is there a world where they
33:38
Speaker 1: kind of take a step back? Because I'm with you.
33:39
Speaker 1: I'm on the Texans. No. Really. There's no shot. There's
33:44
Speaker 1: no shot that they're not as good. No shot. I
33:46
Speaker 1: love that. I love the confidence. How many units?
33:48
Speaker 4: One.
33:51
Speaker 1: Week one of the NFL. You don't know what's going
33:53
Speaker 1: to happen. It's week one.
33:54
Speaker 3: We have no idea. This is like. One unit. Yeah,
33:58
Speaker 3: one unit. I'm with that.
33:59
Speaker 1: All right. Packers, Vikings.
34:01
Speaker 3: Wait, Clay.
34:01
Speaker 1: Oh, Clay. You know he's going to favor.
34:03
Speaker 4: Moneyline Matthews bills minus two and a half for one unit.
34:08
Speaker 1: Doesn't love the game.
34:10
Speaker 3: What do you mean?
34:11
Speaker 1: The units.
34:12
Speaker 3: Because, yeah, it's a tricky one. You got two good.
34:16
Speaker 1: Two awesome teams in the AFC.
34:17
Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Oh, man.
34:19
Speaker 1: Defense versus Josh Allen. I love your call to Jim Leonard, too.
34:22
Speaker 3: I mean, two good defenses, though. I feel like they
34:25
Speaker 3: defense should be okay with Jim, so.
34:28
Speaker 1: Hell, yeah.
34:28
Speaker 3: We'll see.
34:29
Speaker 1: Hell, yes, dude.
34:30
Speaker 3: Because they defense was a problem last year. Hopefully, they
34:32
Speaker 3: fix that.
34:33
Speaker 2: NFC North matchup. We got the Packers going out to Minnesota.
34:36
Speaker 2: The line on this game, Vikings are favored one and
34:40
Speaker 2: a half.
34:40
Speaker 1: A little disbelief. A little non-believing. Wow, that's crazy. We
34:44
Speaker 1: love going out there.
34:45
Speaker 3: Crazy.
34:46
Speaker 2: The over-under on this game, 46 and a half. This
34:52
Speaker 2: got the mule all over it.
34:54
Speaker 3: This one.
34:54
Speaker 1: Where's Clay going? Let's see where Clay Moneyline's going.
34:58
Speaker 3: He going Packers.
34:59
Speaker 1: Come on.
35:00
Speaker 4: Moneyline Matthews goes Packers Moneyline.
35:03
Speaker 3: He's taking a Packers.
35:04
Speaker 1: How many units? Two units. Two units.
35:08
Speaker 3: Green Bay up in Minnesota. Season opener in Minnesota. Give
35:14
Speaker 3: me the Vikings. Give me the Vikings. Have you won?
35:23
Speaker 3: We're doing one right now.
35:29
Speaker 1: Oh, okay, I'll go. Hey, I'll say mine. I'm going
35:31
Speaker 1: to go one units on the Vikings money line. I
35:34
Speaker 1: like the Vikings in this game. I don't love what's
35:39
Speaker 1: happened to my boy JJ over there, but Kyler Murray
35:42
Speaker 1: has an X factor about him. Having Justin Jefferson out
35:46
Speaker 1: there on the outside helps a lot. Addison. TJ Hopkinson.
35:51
Speaker 1: I think the biggest thing in this game, too, is
35:54
Speaker 1: who's running the ball for the Packers. So it's Marshawn
35:57
Speaker 1: Lloyd who's going to be throwing the rock. And to me,
36:02
Speaker 1: that question mark with Josh Jacobs and what he's done
36:05
Speaker 1: for that team and got them as far as they
36:06
Speaker 1: did last year, he's a big piece of that. I
36:08
Speaker 1: think Jordan Love also played exceptionally well. LaFleur's going to
36:10
Speaker 1: have ways to scheme it all up and make it
36:12
Speaker 1: all better. He's a great offensive mind. But I like
36:15
Speaker 1: from a talent standpoint, Kyler healthy. There's no Call of Duty,
36:21
Speaker 1: extra bonus things coming out right now. I like where
36:25
Speaker 1: Minnesota sits week one. A lot of conversation about do
36:28
Speaker 1: you give up on JJ, do you not? No one's
36:29
Speaker 1: really focused on how successful they can be. I think
36:31
Speaker 1: the NFC North is probably one of my favorite divisions
36:34
Speaker 1: to watch this year. But I like the Vikings minus
36:37
Speaker 1: one half. I can only go one unit, so I
36:39
Speaker 1: will just go one unit on this game.
36:41
Speaker 2: How many would you go if you could?
36:44
Speaker 1: Probably two or three, probably three. I probably hit a
36:46
Speaker 1: three piece right down the middle.
36:47
Speaker 3: Why, because JJ on the team?
36:49
Speaker 1: No, JJ's not playing.
36:51
Speaker 2: JJ's not in the convo anymore.
36:53
Speaker 1: We're talking about JJ the guy.
36:54
Speaker 2: He's not even in the convo.
36:55
Speaker 1: I like the weapons better on the perimeter. I like
36:58
Speaker 1: Kyler Murray's ability to break, contain it, and run a
37:01
Speaker 1: little bit. And then it's Josh Jacobs not playing the game,
37:03
Speaker 1: who was a safety net for the Packers. And I
37:07
Speaker 1: think that could really hurt them. Now, to argue against myself,
37:11
Speaker 1: it's LeFleur. It's the run game. It's the scheme. I've
37:14
Speaker 1: seen him on the fourth and fifth tackles at the
37:17
Speaker 1: Tennessee Titans scheme up against the Kansas City Chiefs and
37:20
Speaker 1: win that game.
37:21
Speaker 2: Tucker Kraft is healthy again.
37:24
Speaker 3: Is he going to play this week? Tucker Kraft.
37:27
Speaker 1: Yeah. But he's also coming off an ACL. So it's like.
37:30
Speaker 1: That's a hard working boy right there.
37:32
Speaker 3: How healthy.
37:32
Speaker 1: I know. He was the best tight end in the
37:34
Speaker 1: NFL until he got hurt last year. Yeah. So, I mean,
37:38
Speaker 1: I like that team. I like that team in week six, seven, eight.
37:41
Speaker 1: I like him in October. Right now, I like the
37:43
Speaker 1: Vikings in September.
37:44
Speaker 2: Yeah, but you got Kyler Murray. No double XP going on.
37:46
Speaker 1: No double XP. We're solid. It's early in the year.
37:48
Speaker 1: We're solid. He's an electric factor. Yeah, yeah.
37:51
Speaker 2: He's got some studs to throw the ball up to.
37:52
Speaker 3: He's studs.
37:53
Speaker 1: Sunday night football. Cowboys at Giants. We'll have the floor,
37:58
Speaker 1: but I just want to say, if I could bet
38:00
Speaker 1: 10 units, I would on this game. I love the
38:03
Speaker 1: Cowboys minus two and a half here. I love the Cowboys.
38:08
Speaker 3: Wait, did they move the line? Oh, yeah.
38:11
Speaker 1: Two and a half. Willie?
38:12
Speaker 4: Willie?
38:18
Speaker 1: Three units. Okay. Dallas Moneyline.
38:23
Speaker 3: Wow.
38:24
Speaker 1: Jimmy Boo. Week one football, bro. Wow.
38:28
Speaker 2: I like Dallas this year. I've said it on multiple occasions.
38:31
Speaker 2: I got Dak as the MVP. Big fan of Shoddy.
38:34
Speaker 2: I think this O-line, even though Tyler Smith is on
38:36
Speaker 2: IR to start the season, that's kind of a big loss.
38:38
Speaker 2: But again, this O-line, having a second year in this operation,
38:42
Speaker 2: outside of Tyler Smith, they are all healthy. All the weapons.
38:45
Speaker 2: Everybody knows about Dak Prescott and all the weapons that
38:48
Speaker 2: he has with CeeDee Lamb, Pickens, Williams in the backfield.
38:51
Speaker 2: But defensively, too. Having a new coordinator, not having Ibra
38:54
Speaker 2: Fluster anymore. And all the pieces you have with Rashawn Gary,
38:58
Speaker 2: with Kenny Clark, with Quinn Williams, with Overshawn on the
39:02
Speaker 2: second level. D-winners coming over from the 49ers. And again,
39:06
Speaker 2: our boy, Caleb Downs, who is that dude. I think
39:10
Speaker 2: Cowboys are going to be good this year. And I
39:13
Speaker 2: think they handle the New York Giants. Literally, if you've
39:17
Speaker 2: got Malik neighbors, they've got a great pass rush. But yeah,
39:21
Speaker 2: I think they win the game because I like Dallas
39:24
Speaker 2: money line. And that's three units. William Earl Compton III,
39:29
Speaker 2: three units, son.
39:31
Speaker 1: So confident that they'll win by two.
39:33
Speaker 2: Dude, it's week one. It's the NFL. There's going to
39:38
Speaker 2: be so many games.
39:40
Speaker 1: Preseason Caucasians, Jackson Dark, Cam Skadable, Odell Beckham. We're having
39:44
Speaker 1: 2014 flashbacks taking place right now. You went Dallas too,
39:49
Speaker 1: didn't you? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
39:50
Speaker 3: I mean, they got to get their footing.
39:52
Speaker 1: But I'm going minus two and a half. I love
39:54
Speaker 1: the idea of the Giants. When Scat and Dart are rolling,
40:00
Speaker 1: it fires me up. I love it. I just think
40:03
Speaker 1: the Dallas Cowboys offense is not slowing down and the
40:06
Speaker 1: defense isn't. can only be better. They cannot be worse.
40:10
Speaker 1: They can only be better. And all the defensive players
40:12
Speaker 1: you just said. I think Caleb Downs is defensive rookie
40:15
Speaker 1: of the year this year. I'm a huge fan of
40:17
Speaker 1: his play and I'm a huge fan of everything that's
40:19
Speaker 1: come out of camp. He's a huge fan of his heart. Yeah,
40:21
Speaker 1: of his heart. Yeah, he's got a great heart. Caleb Downs. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.
40:25
Speaker 2: And for Coleman, too, I know you're a massive Giants fan.
40:27
Speaker 2: I like the Giants this year.
40:29
Speaker 1: I love Coleman in the eyes when I said that pick. Yeah.
40:33
Speaker 1: A lot of good talent. Hardball, first year.
40:35
Speaker 3: First year, yeah.
40:36
Speaker 1: New York's got something brewing. Yeah.
40:38
Speaker 3: Don't think it's going to happen week one. Just a
40:39
Speaker 3: big fan of Shottie. Yeah, I just think it's too early.
40:41
Speaker 3: Dallas been winning his rivalry lately and getting them in
40:45
Speaker 3: week one before the Giants can get their footing. I
40:48
Speaker 3: just think this is a great opportunity for Dallas to
40:51
Speaker 3: get away with a win here.
40:52
Speaker 1: Yeah.
40:53
Speaker 3: So I got to go Dallas with one unit. To cover?
40:58
Speaker 1: You're staring at me.
40:59
Speaker 3: Minus two and a half, yes.
41:01
Speaker 1: Let me add, I'm going to add the over. 48
41:04
Speaker 1: and a half. So I'm going Cowboys minus two and
41:06
Speaker 1: a half plus the over 48 and a half.
41:08
Speaker 2: What's your philosophy coming into week one? Because I'm not
41:10
Speaker 2: going to lie. You got me kind of in a
41:12
Speaker 2: corner back against like a wild cards out there on
41:14
Speaker 2: the floor right now.
41:15
Speaker 1: I just think there's so much uncertainty with week one
41:18
Speaker 1: in the NFL. It always, always catches you by surprise
41:21
Speaker 1: and you can't hang back. You got to swing first.
41:24
Speaker 1: You get the first hit out of the way. Yeah.
41:26
Speaker 1: That's my philosophy on this game right here to where
41:29
Speaker 1: we'll sit here next week and I can be the
41:30
Speaker 1: hero or I could just be at the bottom of
41:32
Speaker 1: a pool right now, who knows? That's kind of my philosophy.
41:36
Speaker 1: Because you just keep swinging. Massive difference. There's not a
41:41
Speaker 1: lot of worlds where I come out of this not
41:43
Speaker 1: a hero or dead. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
41:46
Speaker 2: Where's our boy Clay going?
41:47
Speaker 4: Clay's going Giants plus four and a half.
41:50
Speaker 1: Wow. Wow. One unit, Giants plus four and a half.
41:57
Speaker 1: Clay and I could both be right in this game.
42:01
Speaker 3: I kind of wanted him to be off a little
42:02
Speaker 3: bit more than me because we kind of almost had
42:04
Speaker 3: the same picks. I'm thankful for that pick.
42:07
Speaker 1: You're thankful for that pick?
42:07
Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm thankful for that pick.
42:08
Speaker 1: Plus four and a half.
42:10
Speaker 3: He, I don't even got time for Clay right now.
42:14
Speaker 1: Who does?
42:14
Speaker 4: You guys had the same Super Bowl pick.
42:18
Speaker 3: People forget that. I know. It's crazy.
42:21
Speaker 1: So it's good. That's good we had a little switch
42:23
Speaker 1: up there.
42:23
Speaker 2: Monday night football. We got Denver going to Kansas City.
42:28
Speaker 1: Prime time.
42:30
Speaker 2: The line the Chiefs are favored by two and a half.
42:33
Speaker 2: The total on this game is 43 and a half.
42:36
Speaker 1: Don't overthink the game. Delaney, go ahead.
42:40
Speaker 3: You already know, I'm going Broncos. I'm going Broncos because
42:44
Speaker 3: everybody's circle jerking the Chiefs because Patrick Mahomes.
42:48
Speaker 1: Are they circle jerking the Chiefs? The majority of the
42:51
Speaker 1: world has them third in the division. What are you
42:55
Speaker 1: talking about?
42:56
Speaker 2: What?
42:58
Speaker 1: I think they're favorites on FanDuel to win the division. Yes.
43:02
Speaker 3: Are they?
43:02
Speaker 1: They are. We had our futures last week and they
43:04
Speaker 1: were number one.
43:05
Speaker 3: They were number one.
43:05
Speaker 1: Followed by the Chargers and the Broncos. Yeah.
43:07
Speaker 3: Circa jerk.
43:08
Speaker 1: Maybe not in that order.
43:09
Speaker 3: Circle jerk.
43:11
Speaker 2: Maybe I'm wrong. But it does feel like, yeah, maybe
43:21
Speaker 2: it's just the circles and the timelines that I'm in.
43:24
Speaker 1: If you're the leader.
43:25
Speaker 3: You're the leader of all of them. What timeline are
43:28
Speaker 3: you looking at?
43:29
Speaker 1: So you like the Chiefs?
43:30
Speaker 3: No, no, Broncos.
43:31
Speaker 1: Okay. Come on now. Yeah. Talking the Broncos. Yeah. Year three,
43:36
Speaker 1: Sean Payton, Bo Nix.
43:37
Speaker 3: That's what I'm talking about.
43:39
Speaker 1: Have we gotten, is Patrick Mahomes playing this game?
43:41
Speaker 3: He is playing.
43:42
Speaker 1: He is playing in this game.
43:43
Speaker 3: He is.
43:44
Speaker 1: Off an ACL, Kelsey long on the tooth, Chris Jones
43:47
Speaker 1: long on the tooth. I'm going to hit the under
43:48
Speaker 1: in this game. I think Kenneth Walker is the main
43:52
Speaker 1: factor in this game. For the Chiefs, it's the first
43:54
Speaker 1: time we've seen a run game at the Chiefs in
43:55
Speaker 1: a long time. That's not just like simulated like short
43:58
Speaker 1: passes to make them have a run game. Year three, Bo, Nick,
44:02
Speaker 1: Sean Payton. I love that. Defense. If I were to
44:05
Speaker 1: go one direction, it would be the Broncos. But I'll
44:08
Speaker 1: take the under in this game.
44:10
Speaker 3: I like that.
44:11
Speaker 1: Both defenses are phenomenal.
44:14
Speaker 3: Broncos led with sacks 68 last year going against a hurt–
44:19
Speaker 3: I mean, a limping quarterback. I mean, videos I saw,
44:22
Speaker 3: he was limping out there. Hate to say that about Patrick,
44:25
Speaker 3: because he is one of the GOATs, but. I know,
44:28
Speaker 3: but those boys are going to get after him. I
44:32
Speaker 3: can see it now. One unit.
44:34
Speaker 2: Simmons.
44:36
Speaker 1: So you have six units on the board right now.
44:38
Speaker 3: Six units. One unit on the Broncos. I'm going to
44:40
Speaker 3: hold my four units. You know, I got a strategy,
44:43
Speaker 3: because I didn't go to class for nothing.
44:46
Speaker 1: Right. Broncos money line, one unit. Just to be clear.
44:52
Speaker 1: How many units do you leave on the board? I
44:54
Speaker 1: left a couple.
44:55
Speaker 3: He left three. Oh, two. Okay. One, two, three, four, five, six.
45:02
Speaker 3: Did I do one three-piece? You did a two-piece, I thought.
45:05
Speaker 1: You did a three-piece on Cowboys money.
45:07
Speaker 3: Yeah, so I left two units on the board. Two
45:08
Speaker 3: units on the board.
45:09
Speaker 2: Two units on the board.
45:10
Speaker 1: We're going to run the football this year. We're going
45:12
Speaker 1: to run the football this year.
45:13
Speaker 3: We're going to run the football this year. You ran
45:15
Speaker 3: all your units?
45:16
Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, I bled out to the end.
45:18
Speaker 3: Oh, so you and Clay.
45:19
Speaker 1: But I was being such a greedy little boy that
45:21
Speaker 1: I was even like comboing. I was putting little two-leggers
45:24
Speaker 1: together at the end there.
45:25
Speaker 3: And you said a parlay. So if one don't hit,
45:27
Speaker 3: you lose.
45:29
Speaker 1: That's how it works always.
45:29
Speaker 3: I'm just making sure you know that because we had
45:32
Speaker 3: an argument the last time about this situation when we
45:35
Speaker 3: was doing, started doing this.
45:37
Speaker 1: But this structure kind of clears it up. It's all
45:39
Speaker 1: unit based. My unit is on these two legs. He's
45:40
Speaker 1: out there like Jackson Dart right now. Yeah. Head down.
45:43
Speaker 1: He ain't sliding. Right. Jackson Dart. Blue tent means nothing
45:45
Speaker 1: to me. Huh?
45:46
Speaker 3: Jackson Dart?
45:47
Speaker 1: Yeah.
45:47
Speaker 3: He needs to slide. We need him to stay all year.
45:49
Speaker 1: No, bro. No. Don't lose your aura.
45:51
Speaker 3: We need him to stay all year, man.
45:53
Speaker 1: If I see Jackson Dart slide in this game, I'm
45:55
Speaker 1: done with him, dude. He is washed.
45:57
Speaker 3: That's called developing. He developed as a starting quarterback.
46:01
Speaker 1: Develop some callous, bro. Get in there. Lower the pads.
46:05
Speaker 3: You want him to get hurt.
46:06
Speaker 1: I want to see that. That's why we got Cam.
46:08
Speaker 1: I want to see that. We got Scatterbill for that.
46:11
Speaker 3: Let him run people over.
46:13
Speaker 1: Why can't they both do it?
46:15
Speaker 3: All right.
46:17
Speaker 1: Yeah, that's so funny. Let's not parlay. Oh, Clay. Clay.
46:21
Speaker 4: Clay goes Bronco's money line with five exclamation points for
46:25
Speaker 4: two units.
46:26
Speaker 1: Oh, that's a good pick. He's fired up about that one.
46:30
Speaker 1: He loved it.
46:30
Speaker 3: Get him again.
46:32
Speaker 1: Get him again.
46:35
Speaker 2: We interrupt this episode because we are presented by Ford.
46:38
Speaker 2: A hard day's work starts with one thing. Someone willing
46:41
Speaker 2: to do it. And where there's a will, there's a
46:43
Speaker 2: Ford F-Series truck. The F-150 and Super Duty put capability where.
46:47
Speaker 1: It belongs, in your hands.
46:50
Speaker 2: And to help you tow what the job demands, power
46:53
Speaker 2: through the day's work, take on the task in front
46:55
Speaker 2: of you and what you never saw coming. Determination shows
46:58
Speaker 2: up wherever you do, and so does your truck. Visit
47:01
Speaker 2: Ford.com or your local Ford dealer for more information. Ready, set, Ford.
47:05
Speaker 1: Built Ford Tough. Parleys. I don't, I want everyone to
47:12
Speaker 1: take this to the grain of salt. I love my parlay.
47:17
Speaker 1: I love it. I think it's, there's no guarantees in life,
47:21
Speaker 1: but I love this right here. You see that? Do
47:26
Speaker 1: you mind if I read it to you?
47:27
Speaker 3: That shit is crazy.
47:28
Speaker 1: You can't read that fast. Yeah, I can't. There's no
47:31
Speaker 1: way you can read that. All you saw was the
47:33
Speaker 1: number at the bottom. Okay. And yes, it is a
47:35
Speaker 1: four-figure parlay. But we're here to get units, are we not?
47:38
Speaker 1: We're here to get units. You ain't sliding, no fair dodging.
47:42
Speaker 1: First pick of my parlay, Texans Moneyline. Thank you. Bears,
47:48
Speaker 1: minus three. Appreciate y'all. Lamar Jackson, over 200 yards passing. Yep,
47:56
Speaker 1: that's three. Joe Burrow, over 200 yards passing.
48:00
Speaker 3: I can see that one.
48:01
Speaker 1: That's four. B. John Robinson, over 70 rushing yards.
48:05
Speaker 3: I see that.
48:06
Speaker 1: That's five. Cowboys, minus two and a half. That is
48:13
Speaker 1: for a whopping plus 1,971.
48:19
Speaker 3: Dude, that is crazy. That is a crazy week one joint.
48:28
Speaker 1: Sorry, dude. You're an inspiration to me. It's like, don't
48:31
Speaker 1: meet your heroes. All of a sudden, I come in here,
48:33
Speaker 1: you're no longer getting units. Who?
48:35
Speaker 3: You.
48:36
Speaker 1: Go ahead and read that little dinky-ass parlay.
48:40
Speaker 2: You do got a rinky-dink parlay.
48:41
Speaker 3: I got a rinky-dink. It's a week one joint.
48:44
Speaker 1: Week one joint.
48:45
Speaker 2: I got to make an audible. I'm switching one money line.
48:49
Speaker 2: My money line at the top is gonna be for
48:52
Speaker 2: the finale, is gonna be money line Denver. Going Denver
48:56
Speaker 2: money line.
48:57
Speaker 1: Clay got you?
48:58
Speaker 2: No, no, no, no. I just, I feel better about
49:01
Speaker 2: Denver money line than I do Houston, Texas money line.
49:04
Speaker 1: So I'm swapping that out.
49:06
Speaker 2: Cause I had Texas money line, but I'm gonna go,
49:08
Speaker 2: I'm going Denver money line, Jaguars money line against the Browns.
49:14
Speaker 1: I'm moving the line.
49:15
Speaker 2: I'm taking an alt line in the total of the
49:17
Speaker 2: Cowboys-Giants game. I'm going to go under 55.
49:20
Speaker 1: And a half.
49:22
Speaker 2: And then Jameer Gibbs on rushing and receiving. I'm taking
49:26
Speaker 2: the over on that, and it's at 118 and.
49:28
Speaker 1: A half yards.
49:29
Speaker 3: Ooh.
49:30
Speaker 1: Give me those odds. Plus 5'10.
49:35
Speaker 2: It's in the plus 500s because again, this one has
49:37
Speaker 2: Texans money line. I don't have the Denver one in there,
49:40
Speaker 2: but the lines are similar.
49:41
Speaker 1: So I'm guessing it's the same. I mean, that might
49:43
Speaker 1: be more than that. Could be more. Yeah, it is more.
49:45
Speaker 1: Broncos are plus 120.
49:46
Speaker 2: The Texans are plus 102, so it'll be better.
49:50
Speaker 1: Yeah, better. Better than plus 510. All right, Delaney. I mean,
49:53
Speaker 1: lay it out for us, buddy.
49:54
Speaker 3: Like I say, guys, week one, getting your feet wet.
49:58
Speaker 3: For all you guys out there who like getting units,
50:01
Speaker 3: you follow the mule, okay? The mule's gonna get you
50:04
Speaker 3: some units. And this is one of those, no, I
50:08
Speaker 3: ain't gonna say it's a for sure hitter, cause I
50:10
Speaker 3: don't want you calling me. Yeah, responsible game, don't call me.
50:15
Speaker 3: Call Will and Taylor, I do love it. So I'm
50:19
Speaker 3: going Chargers, Moneyline, versus the Cardinals. Eagles, Moneyline, versus the Commanders. Jaguars, Moneyline,
50:28
Speaker 3: versus the Browns. And that pays out plus 105.
50:34
Speaker 1: But look, look.
50:39
Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And for you guys that's out
50:43
Speaker 3: there who want to get a Thursday night in, if
50:45
Speaker 3: you want to add that in or switch one out,
50:49
Speaker 3: Rams versus the 49ers. Rams, money line.
50:55
Speaker 1: Short week. Still plus 105. No, it's not. Oh, it's not?
50:59
Speaker 3: No, it's not.
51:00
Speaker 1: It's not.
51:00
Speaker 3: I don't know what it is.
51:01
Speaker 1: It might touch the plus threes. If you add that
51:04
Speaker 1: in there.
51:04
Speaker 3: If you add it in, I'm telling you, because it's
51:06
Speaker 3: a short week, it goes up.
51:09
Speaker 1: Short week? It's the first one of the year. I mean,
51:12
Speaker 1: it's a short week. It's a short week.
51:14
Speaker 3: For them, because you didn't hear it. Did you see
51:16
Speaker 3: the interview? For them, it's a Monday. This, but I
51:19
Speaker 3: don't even know how to repeat it, what he said.
51:21
Speaker 3: He said something. He said something crazy. He was like,
51:24
Speaker 3: today is Monday for us, which is Sunday back home.
51:29
Speaker 3: In the future, yeah. So it's a short week.
51:33
Speaker 1: It's a short week. They're living in the future?
51:36
Speaker 3: They are.
51:36
Speaker 1: That's crazy. You're a poet.
51:39
Speaker 3: I'll try to be.
51:39
Speaker 1: I mean, I need to hear Moneyline Matthews parlay out. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
51:43
Speaker 4: He calls this one the two, four, six, eight, who
51:46
Speaker 4: do we appreciate parlay, which is Baker Mayfield over two
51:51
Speaker 4: passing TDs, Joe Burrow over two passing TDs, Trevor Lawrence,
51:56
Speaker 4: Over two passing TDs. Jared Goff over two passing TDs.
52:00
Speaker 4: And that pays out at plus 627. That's a good parlay.
52:04
Speaker 1: I like that parlay. That's a good parlay. That's a
52:06
Speaker 1: good parlay. Yeah. It's a strong parlay.
52:09
Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a great one.
52:09
Speaker 1: I'll be betting every single one of these parlays. Really?
52:12
Speaker 1: It's week one.
52:12
Speaker 3: Yeah, I like it.
52:13
Speaker 1: Why not? Yeah, sprinkle, sprinkle, sprinkle.
52:15
Speaker 2: Nothing but opportunity out there.
52:16
Speaker 3: And remember, guys, that's one unit. We put one unit
52:19
Speaker 3: on all our parlays out there.
52:21
Speaker 1: I wish I could put more. Be responsible.
52:23
Speaker 3: Be responsible.
52:24
Speaker 1: I love my parlay.
52:27
Speaker 3: You keep saying it like you try to convince yourself.
52:30
Speaker 1: When I'm looking at it, I'm just like, because I
52:32
Speaker 1: haven't been hurt yet. I haven't sat there in the
52:35
Speaker 1: week four and been like, I can't believe I've done
52:37
Speaker 1: myself this whole. I'm in total optimistic mode of week one.
52:41
Speaker 1: I'm like, maybe this is the year I finally see
52:44
Speaker 1: everything so clearly and I truly have a crystal ball
52:46
Speaker 1: in my hand. And it feels that way.
52:48
Speaker 3: I mean, it sounds like you sound real confident. Yeah,
52:51
Speaker 3: that's a big boy. That'll put him ahead in units
52:55
Speaker 3: if he hit that joint. Yeah, I mean, he's using
52:57
Speaker 3: up all of his units out there. I'm talking about
52:59
Speaker 3: that parlay. Just that parlay would be crazy.
53:03
Speaker 1: It's my money and I want it now.
53:05
Speaker 3: Yeah, I like that. What show is that?
53:08
Speaker 1: J.G. Wentworth. Yeah. Yeah, 877-CASH-NO. This Go For It segment
53:15
Speaker 1: of The Locker Room is presented by Jack Daniels. Bold calls,
53:18
Speaker 1: bold moves. When they go for it, you go for Jack.
53:21
Speaker 1: Let's get into the Go for it segment. Jack Daniels,
53:24
Speaker 1: go for it segment. What are you going for this
53:26
Speaker 1: week in week one? Oh, my God. There's a lot
53:29
Speaker 1: of things I want to go for.
53:30
Speaker 3: It's got to be week one or just some.
53:33
Speaker 2: What do you feel right now? Like, what are you
53:35
Speaker 2: going for this weekend?
53:38
Speaker 3: Justin Herbert.
53:42
Speaker 1: MVP. MVP. Oh, wow. In week one, it's done.
53:46
Speaker 3: No, this is just in general. Justin Herbert solidifies MVP
53:49
Speaker 3: caliber status. I'm holding it. I'm holding them down. I
53:53
Speaker 3: told y'all what I felt about the Chargers. Justin Herbert
53:57
Speaker 3: is going. I told you he was a top five
53:59
Speaker 3: last year. The year before that, this year is his year.
54:04
Speaker 2: I'm going to say week one, Kyler Murray throws for
54:07
Speaker 2: over 300 yards and three touchdowns.
54:08
Speaker 3: Against the Packers. That's not a really go for it.
54:13
Speaker 1: Why ain't that a go for it?
54:14
Speaker 3: He got dogs on the outside. That's easy.
54:16
Speaker 1: They're underdogs.
54:17
Speaker 2: So bet it.
54:19
Speaker 1: He's going for it. Yeah, I'm going for it. He's
54:21
Speaker 1: going for it right now.
54:24
Speaker 3: I'm confused. What just happened?
54:27
Speaker 2: The go for it segment, like something that we feel
54:29
Speaker 2: confident about. Underdog Vikings, Kyler Murray, over 300 passing yards
54:35
Speaker 2: and three touchdowns in week one.
54:36
Speaker 3: We all picked the Vikings to win.
54:39
Speaker 1: Yeah, but we didn't say play or prop. You guys
54:41
Speaker 1: are both right. You guys both did a great job.
54:42
Speaker 1: You guys are both right and did a great job.
54:45
Speaker 1: Jack Daniels, go for it segment. A team that said
54:47
Speaker 1: we weren't going to talk about on the show, I'm
54:49
Speaker 1: not going to talk about. I'm going to go for it.
54:51
Speaker 1: Tennessee Titans, week one against the Jets. I see Cam
54:54
Speaker 1: Ward throwing for over. two and a half touchdowns, and
54:59
Speaker 1: the Titans splatter. There will be a Josh Pate-esque tweet.
55:02
Speaker 1: Splattering is taking place with the Tennessee Titans. They are
55:06
Speaker 1: going to win that game by a lot. I'd say
55:09
Speaker 1: over 10 points. That's my go for it. Shout out
55:13
Speaker 1: to the Tennessee Titans. Preseason didn't look great. They're in
55:16
Speaker 1: the bushes lurking, dude.
55:18
Speaker 3: That's definitely.
55:19
Speaker 1: I have a question for Delaney Walker.
55:21
Speaker 4: Your future's MVP was Drake Mays.
55:23
Speaker 1: What has changed for you?
55:26
Speaker 2: Hey, look, that was- He's got a few Super Bowl
55:28
Speaker 2: champions out there. Now he's got a couple MVPs.
55:31
Speaker 3: Hey, y'all know how it go at the end. It
55:33
Speaker 3: changes as we go. My futures, I felt confident about
55:37
Speaker 3: those boys. But then, you know, when I went home
55:40
Speaker 3: after I did that take, I was just like, man,
55:43
Speaker 3: I left a lot on the table. You know, I
55:45
Speaker 3: left a lot on the table. And I didn't ride
55:48
Speaker 3: with my dog. Did not ride with my dog, Justin.
55:51
Speaker 3: So I had to make it loud and clear. MVP.
55:55
Speaker 1: Do we have a ribbon with the boys parlay?
55:58
Speaker 2: The good news is it's a futures pick. You can
56:01
Speaker 2: have a couple MVPs sitting out there on the spot.
56:02
Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying.
56:03
Speaker 1: Yeah.
56:04
Speaker 3: That's how you do it, right? You bet on multiple cats.
56:07
Speaker 3: That's why you win. Don't bet on one.
56:11
Speaker 1: Unless you want to.
56:13
Speaker 3: No, I mean, bet on multiple. They give you the option.
56:15
Speaker 3: If it's in the, if it's in the sports book,
56:17
Speaker 3: it's in the sports book, right?
56:18
Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
56:20
