- 0:12Speaker 1: It's time hell and live and hello, welcome to the
- 0:16Speaker 1: Naughty but Nice your host Rob Shooter, And it's Tuesday,
- 0:20Speaker 1: which can only mean one thing, one really good thing.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Our dear friend Delayer Dixon joins us. Hey, miss d
- 0:28Speaker 1: are you there?
- 0:30Speaker 2: I am, And it's a very cold Tuesday morning here
- 0:33Speaker 2: in New York City where we're just talking about it.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Boom, Well, we will warm you up for the next
- 0:39Speaker 1: twenty minutes with all the hot, really hot celebrity dish.
- 0:43Speaker 1: Are you ready, let's jump into the show. What time
- 0:46Speaker 1: is it, my friends, it is it's tea time. I
- 0:50Speaker 1: love this story at the top of the show. So
- 0:51Speaker 1: Taylor Swift fans are reacting to a very awkwardly timed
- 0:56Speaker 1: Some people might say it was geniusly timed. Tom Hiddleston
- 1:02Speaker 1: cutaway at the People Choice Awards. Let me explain. So
- 1:06Speaker 1: during a speech by the host of the awards, he
- 1:11Speaker 1: introduced the Barbie movie by referencing quote a blonde American icon.
- 1:17Speaker 1: We all thought Bobbie. And then the twist was he
- 1:21Speaker 1: was actually talking about Taylor Swift and saying I was
- 1:24Speaker 1: a Swifty long before I was a Ken. Everybody laughed,
- 1:30Speaker 1: and what did those naughty devils do in the control room,
- 1:33Speaker 1: the guys with the cameras, they did a cutaway to
- 1:37Speaker 1: Tom Hiddelson who was sitting there and to his credit,
- 1:41Speaker 1: he was laughing. Now, Swifties, Taylor's fans have different opinions
- 1:46Speaker 1: about this mystery. Some of them are praising him for
- 1:49Speaker 1: being a good sport and they think the moment is
- 1:52Speaker 1: quote iconic. Some people are saying it was evil and
- 1:55Speaker 1: they shouldn't have done that. Not only is it disrespectful
- 1:58Speaker 1: to Taylor, it's also respectful to Tom. What was he
- 2:02Speaker 1: meant to do? Look grumpy? Was he meant to laugh?
- 2:05Speaker 1: What reaction do you have when people talk about your ex? Now?
- 2:09Speaker 1: I know we're not all going to be on television
- 2:12Speaker 1: listening to hosts talk about someone we've dated in the past,
- 2:16Speaker 1: but we've all been a drinks where some naughty devil
- 2:19Speaker 1: it's normally me brings up what are your ex is, misty?
- 2:22Speaker 1: Do you giggle? Do you smile? Do you wrinkle your nose?
- 2:26Speaker 1: What's the appropriate reaction?
- 2:29Speaker 2: Okay, First of all, we're dealing with an actor, so
- 2:32Speaker 2: he knows how to put on a face. But in
- 2:34Speaker 2: real life, I think you do have to have a
- 2:37Speaker 2: game face when it comes to people talking about your ex. Now,
- 2:40Speaker 2: depending on the friend, you can say, oh my god,
- 2:43Speaker 2: that person was ugh and they will laugh along with you.
- 2:47Speaker 2: In other cases you just have to smile and be like,
- 2:50Speaker 2: I wish them nothing but the best. And I think
- 2:52Speaker 2: that's what Tom did here. And yes, producers can be
- 2:56Speaker 2: very cheeky at an awards show. They got to get
- 2:59Speaker 2: you to watch. That's one way to make sure it happens.
- 3:02Speaker 2: You don't want to miss the swifty moment.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Don't miss the moment. I remember I was at an
- 3:07Speaker 1: awards show with Jessica Simpson just after she had broken
- 3:10Speaker 1: up with Nick leashe and the comedian on stage, the
- 3:13Speaker 1: host made a joke about Nick being a seat filler,
- 3:17Speaker 1: really implying his career was over now that he was
- 3:20Speaker 1: no longer with Jessica, And they cut to Jessica and
- 3:22Speaker 1: she didn't laugh because it was cruel. Calling Taylor Swift,
- 3:26Speaker 1: the original Barbie who now is a feminist icon. That
- 3:30Speaker 1: is a compliment. So he actually was giving Taylor a compliment,
- 3:33Speaker 1: saying he was a Swiftie before he was a ken.
- 3:35Speaker 1: It's very funny, it's adorable, it's easy to laugh at,
- 3:38Speaker 1: but when somebody says something bad about an ex, even
- 3:43Speaker 1: if you agree with it, what do you do? I
- 3:46Speaker 1: have two different responses here, mister. For my inner cirtle,
- 3:50Speaker 1: of which you were part of the five the ten
- 3:53Speaker 1: friends that I tell the truth to, I'd wrinkle my
- 3:56Speaker 1: nose or I'd roll my eyes. I try not to
- 3:59Speaker 1: badmouth people, but I definitely been like mm hmm. But
- 4:03Speaker 1: for everybody else, I would just giggle or smile or
- 4:06Speaker 1: say nothing. Actually, what I might do is just remain neutral,
- 4:09Speaker 1: give no emotion at all. Mister. You're like a vault.
- 4:13Speaker 1: You even with your closest friends, you can sometimes keep
- 4:16Speaker 1: a secret.
- 4:18Speaker 2: Oh yes, I can keep secrets to the grave and beyond. Yeah,
- 4:23Speaker 2: I mean this was, like you said, it was lighthearted.
- 4:26Speaker 2: I mean, I'm not sure why they cut to Tom.
- 4:29Speaker 2: He's not one of her most known exes, so it
- 4:33Speaker 2: might have people might have not even gotten it. You know,
- 4:35Speaker 2: if you're not a swifty fan, this might have been like,
- 4:37Speaker 2: what's the connection?
- 4:38Speaker 1: Right?
- 4:39Speaker 2: So I think it Maybe if it had been somebody
- 4:42Speaker 2: else that we all know, it would have been more effective.
- 4:45Speaker 2: But we're talking about it, and that's what they wanted.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Very really clever. We've worked on TV shows, Misty and
- 4:51Speaker 1: the producers, the director, the camera people, they know how
- 4:56Speaker 1: to get the best shot, they know how to get
- 5:00Speaker 1: a reaction. I'm sure the camera person wasn't just accidentally
- 5:07Speaker 1: standing in front of Tom. They knew the script, They've
- 5:10Speaker 1: read the script. The joke was in the script, it
- 5:11Speaker 1: was in the teleprometer. It was not an ad libbed joke.
- 5:15Speaker 1: It was planned. And so I'm pretty sure when they
- 5:17Speaker 1: did a rehearsal for the show, Tom wouldn't have been
- 5:20Speaker 1: at the rehearsals, but when they did a rehearsals for
- 5:22Speaker 1: the show, they would have said, see that seat there,
- 5:24Speaker 1: That's where Tom's gonna be sitting. So make sure a
- 5:27Speaker 1: camera person that you are standing by that seat. Oh
- 5:30Speaker 1: it's the tricks of television. I sort of love it,
- 5:33Speaker 1: but at the same time, I can understand why some
- 5:35Speaker 1: of you might think it's wrong, which brings us to
- 5:37Speaker 1: our whole question of the day. Taylor Swift fans are
- 5:40Speaker 1: reacting to what some people are saying the awkwardly timed
- 5:44Speaker 1: moment when they cut to Tom Hiddlestone when a joke,
- 5:49Speaker 1: a funny joke, actually quite flattering joke, was made about
- 5:53Speaker 1: Taylor Swift from the stage. Our question is is this
- 5:58Speaker 1: right or is it wrong to cut to an X?
- 6:03Speaker 1: Should you be bringing up xes? Should you do it? Okay,
- 6:07Speaker 1: go vote on a Twitter page at naughty nice rob
- 6:11Speaker 1: or a Facebook page which is naughty yassip amby sure,
- 6:16Speaker 1: So check back to morrow to hear your results. Hey mister,
- 6:21Speaker 1: what are you working on?
- 6:23Speaker 2: Well, let's move to another awards ceremony. The baftist Now
- 6:27Speaker 2: Friends fans are very sadden that Matthew Perry wasn't included
- 6:32Speaker 2: in the Film Awards in memoriam segment, which aired on Sunday.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Now I remember Matthew. He passed away last October. He
- 6:41Speaker 2: was fifty four years old. He's really known for playing
- 6:44Speaker 2: Chandler Bang on the Iconic TV series, but he also
- 6:48Speaker 2: appeared in seventies. He also appeared in several films. He
- 6:52Speaker 2: was in seventeen again in the Whole Nine Yards Now there.
- 6:57Speaker 2: The decision for the BAFTA not to include him in
- 7:01Speaker 2: the immemorial segment has really left fans, just like I said,
- 7:05Speaker 2: disappointed and sad because they felt he should have been
- 7:08Speaker 2: recognized for his contributions to the film industry. But BAFTA
- 7:13Speaker 2: insiders are saying that Matthew wasn't primarily known as a
- 7:18Speaker 2: film star, and that is why they decided to leave
- 7:21Speaker 2: him out of the segment. Rob this is the British
- 7:24Speaker 2: Academy Film Awards. Tell me what is going on here?
- 7:29Speaker 1: Yeah, the Brits are not that outraged about this. They
- 7:31Speaker 1: don't think he should have been in the segment. It
- 7:34Speaker 1: really was for movie stars. It was for people who
- 7:36Speaker 1: worked in the movies, not just people on camera, but
- 7:39Speaker 1: behind the camera. And each year, it's a fact of life,
- 7:42Speaker 1: lots and lots of people pass away and you have
- 7:45Speaker 1: to make a decision how many you're going to include,
- 7:48Speaker 1: because if you included everybody, the award show would go
- 7:51Speaker 1: on for ten hours. And so they're arguing that Matthew
- 7:54Speaker 1: was primarily a TV actor here in America, an extraordinary one.
- 7:57Speaker 1: They think he's super, super talented. He wasn't really a
- 8:00Speaker 1: film actor. He had done a few films, but they
- 8:03Speaker 1: were really gonna honor him because of his celebrity. Let's
- 8:06Speaker 1: be honest here, it wasn't his body of work. So
- 8:08Speaker 1: if we start going down that route where we just
- 8:12Speaker 1: include people who are famous, what happens to the camera people,
- 8:16Speaker 1: what happens to the director what happens to the publicist,
- 8:19Speaker 1: what happens to the agents. There are so many people
- 8:22Speaker 1: that are involved in film that we never ever see,
- 8:25Speaker 1: we never hear about, and we never complain when they're
- 8:29Speaker 1: not included in this segment. So I think it's a
- 8:31Speaker 1: balance here. I can see it both ways. The fans
- 8:34Speaker 1: are upset because they love him, and I love that
- 8:37Speaker 1: about these fans. They are so dedicated to Matthew. But
- 8:40Speaker 1: I think not being included in a film Wood isn't
- 8:45Speaker 1: gonna change his legacy. He will always be Chandler, will
- 8:48Speaker 1: always have friends. I understand it. But I got to
- 8:52Speaker 1: admit here, mystery maybe a little controversial here. I'm actually
- 8:57Speaker 1: not that surprised if I was making the list and
- 9:01Speaker 1: the choice was to include somebody who was not famous
- 9:04Speaker 1: but had made fifty films, or to include an accountant,
- 9:08Speaker 1: to include somebody that worked in the pr office of
- 9:11Speaker 1: all these movies, and not include Matthew. I think I'm
- 9:15Speaker 1: going to go for the person with the biggest resume,
- 9:18Speaker 1: not the person that's the biggest star. I get it,
- 9:21Speaker 1: we love our celebrities, but they already have so so much.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Don't worry, Matthew's legacy will be fine, Okay, moving along.
- 9:31Speaker 1: Prince Harry has confirmed that he plans a lot more
- 9:34Speaker 1: visits to the UK to see his family. I love this.
- 9:36Speaker 1: So Harry's revealed that he has lots more trips planned
- 9:40Speaker 1: to visit the family in the UK, indicating a willingness
- 9:44Speaker 1: to see them much more often. He's not seen them
- 9:46Speaker 1: in a while. Recently, he's shod over the pond to
- 9:50Speaker 1: see King Charles, his dad upon a hearing about his
- 9:54Speaker 1: cancer and diagnosis, and he expressed his love for the family.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Now he is reveal he does plan to make a
- 10:01Speaker 1: lot more trips. So he has a lot of trips upcoming,
- 10:04Speaker 1: maybe not necessarily to England. Some of them might be
- 10:08Speaker 1: to Europe, but on the way he can stop off.
- 10:11Speaker 1: So I think this is a good priority, Harry. I
- 10:13Speaker 1: think it's a good sign. Seeing your dad seemed to
- 10:17Speaker 1: go very well. Maybe hopefully fingers crossed on an upcoming
- 10:21Speaker 1: trip you can see your brother. Because that's the key,
- 10:24Speaker 1: that's the foundation to mending this family. It's William, it
- 10:30Speaker 1: is Harry, and it is Charles. There are other people involved,
- 10:34Speaker 1: I get it, Megan, Kate, Camilla, very important people. However,
- 10:40Speaker 1: I think the inner circle is the three of them,
- 10:43Speaker 1: and if the three of them can get together and
- 10:46Speaker 1: find some sort of peace compromise, mister, I think the
- 10:49Speaker 1: whole family has a better shot of reuniting.
- 10:53Speaker 2: What do you think, Well, I definitely agree. We have
- 10:57Speaker 2: to remember that these men lost their mother at a
- 11:00Speaker 2: young age, and suddenly they never got a chance to
- 11:02Speaker 2: say goodbye, to tell her how much they love her.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Though I am one hundred percent certain she knew, and
- 11:08Speaker 2: she knows, so they don't. You know, Harry doesn't want
- 11:12Speaker 2: that to happen with his father now, King Charles, I
- 11:15Speaker 2: hope is going nowhere anytime soon. But you want to
- 11:19Speaker 2: have that relationship and say all the things that you
- 11:21Speaker 2: need to say. And yes, let's hope this opens to
- 11:24Speaker 2: the door for brothers. We have to remember they're just
- 11:27Speaker 2: like us. There are family members that we don't get
- 11:30Speaker 2: along with, but this one is so public. I really
- 11:34Speaker 2: hope that him, Harry talking to his father allows you.
- 11:39Speaker 2: Maybe William will be in the castle while he's there,
- 11:42Speaker 2: and they'll bump into each other in one of the
- 11:44Speaker 2: long hallways and they'll be like bro bro and they
- 11:48Speaker 2: can finally have that conversation.
- 11:50Speaker 1: So fingers crossed, fingus crossed, fingers crossed. Okay, this story
- 11:53Speaker 1: mystery is fascinating. So after the backter rewards, which are
- 11:55Speaker 1: the British Oscars, Oppenheimer won pretty much everything can now
- 11:59Speaker 1: so many people are askuing me, what does this mean
- 12:02Speaker 1: for the Oscars? Mystery You have two surprises where the
- 12:06Speaker 1: results the winners might be a little different.
- 12:09Speaker 2: So Oppenheimer won for Best Film, Emma Stone one for
- 12:14Speaker 2: Best Actress for her portrayal and Poor Things. So it
- 12:18Speaker 2: really positions both of these projects as strong contenders for
- 12:23Speaker 2: the Oscars. But it's important to note that the Baftis
- 12:26Speaker 2: do not necessarily predict the outcome of the Oscars. That's
- 12:29Speaker 2: usually gone to the Golden Globes. However, this international voting
- 12:34Speaker 2: category is becoming bigger and bigger and gaining more significance,
- 12:40Speaker 2: so the Oscars may still differ from the Baptists and
- 12:43Speaker 2: the categories a Best Actor and Best Actress, though Paul
- 12:46Speaker 2: Giamanid is considered to have the edge among the Oscar
- 12:50Speaker 2: voters for Best Actor, while Lily Gladstone is believed to
- 12:54Speaker 2: be the front runner for Best Actress. I'd like to
- 12:57Speaker 2: throw my two cents in for the Oscars for free right,
- 13:00Speaker 2: he was so amazing in American fiction, and I think
- 13:04Speaker 2: that would be a really big statement for the Oscars
- 13:08Speaker 2: speaking about the film industry and Black America. We'll see
- 13:12Speaker 2: what happens.
- 13:12Speaker 1: Yeah, you're you're right. I think it's going to be
- 13:15Speaker 1: Killiam Murphy from Oppenheimer. But I like it. I enjoy
- 13:20Speaker 1: the Award shows more when we go into them not
- 13:22Speaker 1: knowing who's going to win. Some years, when it's a
- 13:25Speaker 1: blowout and we know who's going to win, they're less exciting.
- 13:28Speaker 1: And so I think this could be a really really
- 13:31Speaker 1: exciting Oscars just a few weeks away. Okay, quickly before
- 13:35Speaker 1: we get a break. Big changes over at CNN. The
- 13:38Speaker 1: CNN hosts, the big stars over there, the Anderson Cooper's,
- 13:41Speaker 1: the Jake Tappers, all these big stars, Chris Wallace are
- 13:45Speaker 1: very worried that the new boss might want to cut
- 13:49Speaker 1: their wages. So there's going to be significant changes at
- 13:52Speaker 1: CNN under the new leaders ship. Mister Mark Thompson, he's
- 13:57Speaker 1: the new boss over there. He used to run the BBC.
- 14:00Speaker 1: I've known of him for a long time because he
- 14:02Speaker 1: was in Britain for a long long time and he
- 14:05Speaker 1: made massive cuts over at the BBC, and he sort
- 14:07Speaker 1: of made them lean and mean, but he was not
- 14:10Speaker 1: shy about slashing budgets. Now there's a new report in
- 14:15Speaker 1: the Rap that they're going to cut the talent budget.
- 14:18Speaker 1: That's what the hosts make by around fifty million dollars.
- 14:22Speaker 1: How are they going to get to fifty million dollars?
- 14:24Speaker 1: Let me explain. Anderson Cooper alone earns twenty million dollars
- 14:29Speaker 1: a year. Jake Tapper earns eight point five, Chris Wallace
- 14:33Speaker 1: earns eight. These are massive, massive salaries, but the one
- 14:37Speaker 1: that sticks out the most is Anderson Cooper twenty million
- 14:41Speaker 1: dollars a year, and the ratings are not very good. Now,
- 14:45Speaker 1: if Anderson had the number one show on TV, they
- 14:49Speaker 1: would pay whatever he wants. Rachel Maddow actually earns more.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Rachel earns thirty million a year, and she only does
- 14:54Speaker 1: one day a week. But the one day she does,
- 14:57Speaker 1: she gets the numberss good, big, big numbers. Is not
- 15:00Speaker 1: doing that, which might mean he might not be at
- 15:05Speaker 1: CNN for much longer. Okay, we're going to be around
- 15:09Speaker 1: for a lot longer, but we have to take this
- 15:11Speaker 1: quick break and we will be right back. Welcome back
- 15:15Speaker 1: to the Naughty but Nice Show. I'm your hast rub shooter. Hey, mister,
- 15:20Speaker 1: let's get to thepolls. Do last show, we talked about
- 15:25Speaker 1: Kelly Rowland, who insiders are revealing felt ambushed, ambushed by
- 15:29Speaker 1: the producers of the Today Show. So it was not
- 15:32Speaker 1: about the dressing room. Her friends are arguing, she has
- 15:35Speaker 1: been to the Today Show a hundred times, she knew
- 15:37Speaker 1: the dressing rooms. It was not about being a diva.
- 15:39Speaker 1: And we've known Kelly Rowland a long time. We've been
- 15:41Speaker 1: reporting on her for decades. I've not heard the diva
- 15:45Speaker 1: stories about her. If it was Mariah Carey, i'd believe it.
- 15:48Speaker 1: But Kelly Rowland, I don't know. There's something a little
- 15:50Speaker 1: off on this story. So insiders are saying it was
- 15:52Speaker 1: not about the dressing room, but rather about feeling ambushed
- 15:56Speaker 1: because producers people on the show want her to talk
- 16:00Speaker 1: about Beyonce. She said, no, that's my friend. I'm not
- 16:03Speaker 1: talking about Beyonce. And that's why she left. A question
- 16:07Speaker 1: to you is are you buying it? Are you buying
- 16:11Speaker 1: that she felt ambushed or do you think it was
- 16:13Speaker 1: the dressing rooms? Why did she walk out on the show.
- 16:16Speaker 1: Let's have a look. Ooh, eighty percent of you were
- 16:19Speaker 1: buying it you said, it's about Beyonce. She doesn't want
- 16:22Speaker 1: to betray her sister, her best friend. I think I'm
- 16:26Speaker 1: with you. Where are you, mister? Yeah?
- 16:28Speaker 2: That makes a lot of sense. I mean she wants
- 16:30Speaker 2: to promote her upcoming movie Mia Kolpa, you know on Netflix,
- 16:34Speaker 2: Tyler Perry happening this Friday, and then to have to
- 16:37Speaker 2: talk about another person in her life. It just doesn't
- 16:41Speaker 2: make sense for her own career and stepping out in
- 16:43Speaker 2: her own lime light. And of course we protect our friends.
- 16:46Speaker 2: We don't want to talk about them. Now, if she
- 16:48Speaker 2: did say something about Beyonce, she could have taken your
- 16:51Speaker 2: advice and said only nice things. But again, you're there
- 16:58Speaker 2: to host her co host. It should be really about you.
- 17:03Speaker 1: It's sort of insulting, isn't it. When I go out
- 17:05Speaker 1: for drinks for dinner, so many of my friends ask
- 17:07Speaker 1: me about you, mistery, and I love talking about how
- 17:09Speaker 1: great you are, but then we move on. But with Beyonce,
- 17:12Speaker 1: that's all they want to talk about. And Kelly must
- 17:14Speaker 1: feel so diminished. I was like, you booked me, not Beyonce,
- 17:18Speaker 1: and I don't want to sit here for the next
- 17:19Speaker 1: ten minutes talking about Beyonce. It's my moment. I'm on
- 17:22Speaker 1: the show, so I do get it and I am
- 17:24Speaker 1: with you on this one. Naughty's hey, don't forget to
- 17:26Speaker 1: vote on today's poul. Go to our Twitter page at
- 17:29Speaker 1: Naughty Nice Rob or a Facebook page Naughty Gossip and
- 17:34Speaker 1: be sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results.
- 17:39Speaker 1: And now it's time for a nice nice of the day.
- 17:45Speaker 2: Well, our nicest of the day is Prince William because
- 17:49Speaker 2: he has announced plans to build twenty four new homes
- 17:53Speaker 2: for people experience housing difficulties on Cornwall estate. So now
- 17:59Speaker 2: this phil as a commitment he made last year. It's
- 18:02Speaker 2: part of his Homewards project, which aims to address the
- 18:05Speaker 2: issue of homeless insecurity. Now the homes will be built
- 18:10Speaker 2: in nas little Land Nuque, with a projected cost of
- 18:14Speaker 2: nearly four million, and you can tell us how much
- 18:17Speaker 2: that is in powers, mister shooter. Now, construction will begin
- 18:21Speaker 2: in September and the first home should be completed by
- 18:25Speaker 2: next fall. I love it, very exciting, very wonderful.
- 18:28Speaker 1: Where your matheus And congratulations mister on your perfect pronunciation
- 18:32Speaker 1: of all those very very odd little British towns. Okay,
- 18:35Speaker 1: now not is the day naughty, naughty, naughty. Travis Kelcey
- 18:38Speaker 1: is a naughtous of the day. So he won the
