- 0:00Speaker 1: It's time for us to go to God in prayer.
- 0:02Speaker 1: And as always I ask that you join along with me,
- 0:06Speaker 1: Sherry Nacky in prayer. And today I want to pray
- 0:11Speaker 1: for the family. I want to pray for healing. I
- 0:13Speaker 1: want to pray for restoration. I want to pray for
- 0:15Speaker 1: forgiveness in family. I tell you what, in so many families,
- 0:21Speaker 1: there's divisiveness, there's angers, there's bitterness. People are fighting over
- 0:28Speaker 1: things that your family members left that things that really
- 0:31Speaker 1: have sentimental value but are no real value, and it's
- 0:34Speaker 1: not worth you've fallen out about with your family. Heavenly Father,
- 0:39Speaker 1: in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before you today. Lord.
- 0:43Speaker 1: We're lifting our families up to you and asking for
- 0:46Speaker 1: your healing in the family. God, bring restoration, Bring forgiveness. God,
- 0:51Speaker 1: convict hearts right now. God, Lord, you created the family
- 0:55Speaker 1: as a reflection of your love, your unity, and your grace.
- 0:58Speaker 1: But we confess it. At times, God, God, division, pain, disappointment,
- 1:03Speaker 1: hurt and misunderstandings have crept into the family and caused
- 1:08Speaker 1: us God to be divided. Father, we acknowledge that families
- 1:12Speaker 1: can be broken for many many reasons. Hurtful words spoken
- 1:16Speaker 1: in anger, betrayals that shattered trust, unresolved conflicts that fester,
- 1:22Speaker 1: distance that made hearts grow cold, or even God, those
- 1:26Speaker 1: past wounds that still cause pain. Some people God struggle
- 1:31Speaker 1: with pride, while others, God, battle with bitterness and resentment
- 1:35Speaker 1: and even grief that has left us feeling alone. But Lord,
- 1:40Speaker 1: we know that nothing is too broken for you to restore. God,
- 1:44Speaker 1: you can do anything but fail. So God, we ask
- 1:47Speaker 1: for your healing hand on every wounded relationship. Soften hearts. God, Lord,
- 1:53Speaker 1: remove any walls of pride or stubbornness and unforgiveness that
- 1:58Speaker 1: have built up over time, and give us strength, Lord
- 2:01Speaker 1: to humble ourselves, to seek forgiveness where we wronged others,
- 2:05Speaker 1: and to extend grace to those who have hurt us. God,
- 2:09Speaker 1: let your love be the foundation on which our family stands,
- 2:13Speaker 1: and let that love drive out fearing anger and division. Lord,
- 2:18Speaker 1: we pray for reconciliation between parents and children, between siblings,
- 2:23Speaker 1: between spouses, between extended family members. God, bring peace where
- 2:29Speaker 1: there's been strife, understanding where there's been confusion, and comfort
- 2:33Speaker 1: God where there's been sorrow, replace bitterness with kindness, resentment
- 2:37Speaker 1: with compassion, and pain, God with healing that only you
- 2:41Speaker 1: can bring. Teach us God to love as you love.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Teach us to be patient, to bear with one another,
- 2:47Speaker 1: and to seek unity above everything else. Father, we know
- 2:51Speaker 1: that true restoration comes from you, So we invite your
- 2:54Speaker 1: Holy Spirit and to our homes to renew our hearts,
- 2:57Speaker 1: our minds, to God our words, and to fill us
- 3:01Speaker 1: with a spirit of forgiveness. Help us to see each
- 3:05Speaker 1: other through your eyes, your mercy, your grace, and to
- 3:08Speaker 1: remember that just as God You've forgiven us, we are
- 3:12Speaker 1: called God to forgive others. Thank you, Lord for your
- 3:17Speaker 1: faithfulness or in trust that you're working even in areas
- 3:21Speaker 1: that we cannot see. God, let our families be a
- 3:24Speaker 1: testimony of your redeeming power, and let us walk forward
- 3:28Speaker 1: in love and unity and in peace. God. We pray
- 3:32Speaker 1: for healing. God, we pray for deliverance, and we call
- 3:35Speaker 1: it done.
