- 0:11country music. I'm your host, Ken Dawkins, and I'll be
- 0:14reading from various sources found online. As a reminder, RADIOI
- 0:19is a reading service intended for people who are blind
- 0:22or have other disabilities that make it difficult to read
- 0:24printed material. We'll begin with the first article, dated September
- 0:29fifteenth from countrynow dot com. Hardy, Miranda, Lambert and Moore
- 0:35to join forces for American Cancer Societies Country Versus Cancer Concert.
- 0:41Country music stars are coming together for a powerful cause
- 0:44this Giving Tuesday. On December two, Hardy, Miranda Lambert, Dirk's Bentley,
- 0:49Laney Gardner, and McCoy Moore will take the stage at
- 0:52Nashville's newest concert venue, The Pinnacle, for the American Cancer
- 0:56Society's twenty twenty five Country Versus Cancer con presented by
- 1:01Hardy and That's the Hearty Fund and live concert series
- 1:05Whiskey Jam. The one night only event is dedicated to
- 1:08raising funds for the American Cancer Society to support saving lives.
- 1:13According to ACS, every fifteen seconds someone in the US
- 1:16is diagnosed with cancer, a disease that impacts one in
- 1:19three people. In an effort to help fight this devastating reality,
- 1:23these Country Acts will take the stage to deliver a
- 1:26night of music and hope. Those who attend can expect
- 1:28a night full of unforgettable performances, heartfelt moments within a
- 1:32community that is committed to the cause. All net proceeds
- 1:37from Country Versus Cancer will go towards ACS's ongoing mission.
- 1:41The funds will fuel groundbreaking research, expand access to life
- 1:44saving treatments, and provide trusted support services to cancer patients
- 1:48and their families no matter where they live. Through these efforts,
- 1:52the American Cancer Society continues to make a vital difference
- 1:55in the lives of people facing cancer, from the moment
- 1:58of diagnosis through every step of treatment and recovery. Hardy,
- 2:03one of the acts, taking the time out of his
- 2:05busy schedule to help a good cause, expressed his excitement
- 2:08to be part of the event and help raise awareness
- 2:10and funds for the American Cancer Society. I am beyond
- 2:14honored and excited to be part of Country Versus Cancer
- 2:17this year. On December second, said, Hardie, cancer is a
- 2:21terrible thing. It affects so many people and so many families.
- 2:24Anything I can do to give back and make people
- 2:26feel better in any type of way, I'm here for.
- 2:29Can't wait for the event. I'll see you guys there.
- 2:33Country Versus Cancer will offer a platform to those whose
- 2:35lives have been impacted by cancer, including survivors, caregivers, and
- 2:39patient advocates working to make a difference. Country Versus Cancers
- 2:43being hosted in partnership with Hardy Fund and supports community
- 2:47programs in Mississippi and Tennessee and Whiskey Jam and produced
- 2:51by Track Management and Kevin Meads of WME Next. Anna
- 2:57McFarland and Chase Rice team up for playful duet Foolin'
- 3:02Hanna McFarland is back with her first release since her
- 3:05debut EP, Broken Hearts, arrived in February. She makes her
- 3:09highly anticipated return with Foolan, a brand new duet featuring
- 3:12her current tour mate Chase Rice. Co written by McFarland
- 3:16alongside Madison Kozak and Rivers Rutherford and produced by Oscar
- 3:20Charles and Logan Wall. The fresh release further showcases the
- 3:24Alabama natives gift for tender hearted storytelling. The track captures
- 3:28the emotions of two friends caught in an awkward in
- 3:31between space where they're both aware of the lingering attraction
- 3:34between them, it can't bring themselves to actually admit it.
- 3:38Fool and blends sunny harmonies with a touch of longing,
- 3:41leading to a chorus that playfully spills the secret everyone's
- 3:44already feeling about the growing crush. McFarland and Rice have
- 3:48spent months building anticipation for the new drop among their
- 3:51fan bases. They accompany the release with a retro style
- 3:54music video directed by Julia Robert and produced by the
- 3:56Corps Josh Robert. The visuals find the artists capturing candid
- 4:00moments in an old fashioned analog phone booth that builds
- 4:03on intimate and authentic energy among the lyrics. The video
- 4:07opens with the two trading off snapping individual photos in
- 4:10the booth, but eventually they come together in front of
- 4:12the camera, taking shots of tequila and letting loose. The
- 4:16clip also features a surprise cameo from Rice's adorable black
- 4:19lab Jack. Having chased on this song not only gives
- 4:23it more life, but it gave me a chance to
- 4:25work with one of my close friends on the project,
- 4:27and that I was already excited about since the day
- 4:29it was written, says McFarland. Can't wait to get fool
- 4:32out into the world. Rice also took the opportunity to
- 4:36gush over the songstress while explaining that he first heard
- 4:39the duet after the pair had written together for the
- 4:41first time. Not only does Foolan mark their first time
- 4:44teaming up, but as the Way Down Yonder singer revealed,
- 4:47it also serves as the very first country song he's
- 4:49ever been featured on. The first time Hannah and I
- 4:53wrote together, we wrote a really badass song. I knew
- 4:56she was talented, but I gained a new level of
- 4:58respect for her after that. Notes a little later on,
- 5:02when she played me a song that I could tell
- 5:03she was really excited about and asked if it's something
- 5:06I'd record with her, it was an obvious yes. It's
- 5:09the first country song I've ever been featured on, and
- 5:12I love that Hannah asked me, of all people, to
- 5:15be a part of it. Foolan adds to mc farland's
- 5:18recent string of standout collaborations, including her recent feature on
- 5:21Riley Green's I Just Need You, which appears on his
- 5:24Don't Mind If I Do deluxe album. She performed the
- 5:27new song with Rice last month at this year's Boots
- 5:30and Heart's Music Festival in Ontario. Anna McFarland has stayed
- 5:34busy on the road this year and is showing no
- 5:36signs of slowing down. She recently joined Green for his
- 5:39UK and European dates and is now hitting the road
- 5:41with Chase Rice as part of his current tour. She'll
- 5:45finish her run with Rice at the end of the
- 5:46month and then reunite with Green in November for a
- 5:49stretch of arena shows across the Midwest next. How Far
- 5:54Does a Goodbye Go brings back the classic Jason Aldeen
- 5:58fans know and love. Jason Aldeen is turning heads with
- 6:02his brand new single how Far Does a good Bye Go,
- 6:05out now and offering fans the first taste of his
- 6:08upcoming album. The track tells the story of a man
- 6:11facing heartbreak and confusion after his partner leaves. Unsure whether
- 6:15she's stepping out for a short break or walking away
- 6:18for good. She says she's headed to see her mom
- 6:21to clear her head, but after days without contact, he's
- 6:24left drinking, smoking and replaying everything in his mind, wondering
- 6:28if she'll ever return. How Far Does a good Boy go?
- 6:32Is it down to a corner bar or out of
- 6:34town in a getaway car. If it's on a map,
- 6:37this cowboy's gotta know. Is it a couple miles away
- 6:39coming up the road, or on a midnight train on
- 6:42a runaway track? How far does a Goodbye Go till
- 6:45it don't come back? He sings. Vocally, Aldine shines, sounding
- 6:49the strongest he has in years. The song feels like
- 6:52classic Aldine, taking fans back to the sound of the
- 6:54Truth and his wide open era. Written by Aldine's longtime
- 6:59Collaborator's Curve Allison, John Edwards, Tully Kennedy and John Morgan,
- 7:03how Far does a good Boy? How Far Does a
- 7:05Good byego follows the Georgia Natives historic thirtieth career number
- 7:10one at Country radio. Aldean says the song is for
- 7:13anybody who's ever felt the sting of a breakup. The
- 7:17release of the song comes amid the reigning ACM Artist
- 7:19of the decade's full Throttle tour. Aldean recently surprised fans
- 7:23by adding nine new US stops in twenty twenty six,
- 7:27with support from Nate Smith, Landy Gardner, and DJ Silver.
- 7:31Produced by Live Nation, The new run Trek kicks off
- 7:34on January fifteenth at Simmons Bank Arena in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
- 7:40Moving on, Kenny Chesney makes surprise appearance at Megan Morony's
- 7:45first headlining stadium show. Meghan Maroney hit a major milestone
- 7:50this weekend as she headlined a stadium for the first
- 7:52time as part of her wildly popular MIOK tour. Just
- 7:56minutes before taking the stage of the Credit Won Stadium
- 7:59in Charleston, the night became even more memorable thanks to
- 8:02a surprise backstage visit from her friend and former tour mate,
- 8:06Kenny Chesney. The heartfelt moment was captured on video, showcasing
- 8:10Marony standing in front of a bright light, decked out
- 8:12in her signature royal blue dress and white cowboy boots,
- 8:16clearly unaware of the man walking towards her. Once the
- 8:19songstress realized that Chesney had made the trip out to
- 8:22celebrate her big show, her face lit up. The six
- 8:25months later, singer excitedly screamed his name as the two
- 8:28Hug and then asked, what are you doing here? The
- 8:31text over the video read po V When Kenny Chesney
- 8:34surprises you at the I m IOK tour five minutes
- 8:37before you go on stage. Jesney didn't just stop at
- 8:41the surprise visit backstage. Later in the night, he also
- 8:44joined Marony on stage for a powerful performance of their
- 8:47duet you Had to Be There. The pair of artists
- 8:50became friends while Maroney served as a special guest on
- 8:53Kenny Chesney's twenty twenty four Son Goes Down Stadium tour.
- 8:56As a result of that unforgettable chapter in her career,
- 9:00the Georgia native later gifted Chesney the heartfelt song as
- 9:03a Christmas present. From sharing stages across the country to
- 9:07offering genuine support behind the scenes, Jesney and Maroney's friendship
- 9:10continues to shine. In an Instagram post recapping the Milestone weekend,
- 9:15Maroni included a photo of a handwritten note addressed to
- 9:17her from Chesney commenting her on the commending her rather
- 9:21on the successful show. He wrote, Megan, you were amazing
- 9:25up there. You outshine everyone just by being yourself. I
- 9:28love you, Kenny. During the same performance, on Friday, September twelfth,
- 9:34Meghan Maroney treated fans to a performance of an unreleased
- 9:37song titled Beautiful Things. She previously teased the track across
- 9:41social media, but this was the first time she performed
- 9:44the full version live. Before diving into the powerful lyrics,
- 9:48Marony shared a bit of the story behind the song
- 9:50and the reason she wrote it with her young niece
- 9:52and mind, I decided that out of all my discography,
- 9:56I think I had to pick a song that I
- 9:58would write to myself, this would be it because I
- 10:01was the girl that in that middle school I didn't
- 10:03get invited to the party, and when I got a
- 10:05little bit older, I couldn't make the guy love me
- 10:07and stay with me, and I just wish I had
- 10:09a song that said exactly this, she explained, And so
- 10:13I think that's part of the reason why I wrote
- 10:15it for my niece, and I think this song is
- 10:17just a great reminder that we're all going through something,
- 10:19so just be nice to each other. Maroney then noted
- 10:23that Beautiful Things is set to appear on her next album.
- 10:26A release date has not been set for the upcoming project.
- 10:29The Miok Tour, inspired by the title of her latest
- 10:33project of the same name, continues this week, or had
- 10:36continued this week with a stop in Independence, Missouri. Full
- 10:40list of upcoming dates can be found on Maroney's official website. Next,
- 10:45Luke Brian brings new life to Dan Seals's classic hit
- 10:49Everything That Glitters Is Not Gold. Luke Brian lends his
- 10:54voice to a new rendition of Dan seals nineteen eighty
- 10:56six chart topper Everything that Glitters Is Not Gold, which
- 11:00serves as the lead release from a new duet project
- 11:03spearheaded by record label Melody Place. Everything that Glitters Is
- 11:07Not Gold was co written by Seals and Bob McDill
- 11:10and appears on his album Won't Be Blue Anymore. The
- 11:13song is about looking back on a past love who
- 11:16became famous in the rodeo world while the Nirator's life
- 11:19stayed smaller and quieter, raising a child and playing smaller shows.
- 11:24He remembers his ex in rhinestones and sequins, loved by
- 11:27the crowd. The line everything that Glitters Is Not Gold
- 11:30really sums up the feeling that fame and spotlight don't
- 11:32always mean happiness for what you hope for. Brian, a
- 11:37longtime fan of Seals, was thrilled to add his voice
- 11:39to the iconic song, which arrived sixteen years after Seal's
- 11:43untimely passing. When I think of all the all time
- 11:47iconic songs. This one's definitely comes to top of mind.
- 11:50Brian shared, Dan was an artist I had on repeat
- 11:53and actually still do. I sang this song when I
- 11:56was back in Georgia, and now to be here and
- 11:58paired with him on this new release is just unbelievable.
- 12:03Dan Seals, of course, first rose to fame as one
- 12:05of half of the pop rock duo England Dan and
- 12:07john Ford Coley then moved to Nashville and built a
- 12:10hugely successful solo country career with nine straight and eleven
- 12:14total number one hits. He became one of the most
- 12:17successful artists to cross over into country, thanks in large
- 12:20part to his gift for telling stories about rural America
- 12:23in a way that resonated with a wide audience. Dan
- 12:27Seals was diagnosed with metal cell lymphoma in two thousand
- 12:31and seven, and he faced his final days with the
- 12:33same grace he brought to his music. He passed away
- 12:36March twenty fifth, two thousand and nine, Showtime, as his
- 12:39manager put it an additional details surrounding the new Duets
- 12:43project will be revealed soon now. He' zigzagged down the
- 12:48road a little bit too, saving country music for news
- 12:51in some commentary. First article dated September fourteenth, on Zach
- 12:56Bryan trying to fight Gavin Adcock. He's an old saying
- 13:00that if you find yourself constantly surrounded by jerks, the
- 13:03real jerk might be you. In this particular instance, we
- 13:07are talking about Zach Bryan or are we talking about
- 13:10Gavin Adcock. Answer is yes, says saving country music. Zack
- 13:15Brian got drunk and decided he was going to be
- 13:17a tough guy. It probably was not the smartest of decisions.
- 13:21Gavin Adcock is a troll. In the first rule of
- 13:23how to deal with troll is not to feed them.
- 13:25Zack Bryan just threw a big hunk of red meat
- 13:28Adcock's way. Granted, navigating a triple barbed wire fence, while
- 13:32heavy in the sauce, is certainly a feat in itself,
- 13:35and with the way Zach was so bound and determined
- 13:38to chuck knuckles, he very well might have won any
- 13:41physical altercation. Gavin Adcock seemed to think the same, backpedaling
- 13:45pretty quickly once Zack Brian made the leap. As is
- 13:48commony with trolls, z Adcock has a lot to say,
- 13:50but is rarely there to back it. Up, but this
- 13:53is in high school. Being a real man is knowing
- 13:55when to fight and knowing when not to. So for
- 13:58those who haven't seen the or heard about the video,
- 14:01Gavin Adcock was set to perform at Born and Raised
- 14:04Festival in Prior, Oklahoma, Saturday evening when Zach Bryan showed
- 14:07up along the perimeter of the fest to confront Adcock
- 14:10with a barbed wire fence in between them. Brian eventually
- 14:13hopped the fence before security detained him, while Adcock backpedaled
- 14:17and his people held him back. It's pretty obvious Zach
- 14:21Brian was drunk. Brian was on location because earlier in
- 14:24the day he'd appeared as a surprise guest to sing
- 14:26Madeline with Gabriel Rose. That's Gabriella Rose, once again underscoring
- 14:31Brian's commitment to helping up and coming artists and women
- 14:34in particular, which they needed at this festival where you
- 14:37had to go nineteen names deep on the poster before
- 14:40getting to the name of a woman in small print.
- 14:43While on stage, Zach Bryan said, Gavin Adcock, where are
- 14:46you at? Meanwhile, Adcock had no business even being at
- 14:49Born and Raised Festival. It's called Born and raised for
- 14:53a reason. And perhaps nobody was born and raised closer
- 14:55to prior Oklahoma in music than Zack Bryan, who has
- 14:59a long history with the f best, both debuting during
- 15:01a pre party in twenty twenty one and then returning
- 15:04the next year as a headliner. Gavin Adcock is the
- 15:07pride of Athens, Georgia. For Zach Bryan, this was about
- 15:10defending his dirt, but the suits booking these festivals and
- 15:15the folks peddling Adcock's career on Music Row have decided
- 15:18to market Gavin as an underground or outlaw artist, though
- 15:22his music is decidedly mainstream. That is why we meaning
- 15:27saving country music continue to see Gavin Adcock appear at
- 15:30festivals like this as if he's the next Whalen Jennings.
- 15:34This is the mainstream country music business trying to recapture
- 15:37some of the fan base they've lost to actual independent
- 15:40country artists and labels, and unfortunately, because folks like Zach
- 15:44Bryan and Charlie Krokatt can't help but engage with Adcock's trolling,
- 15:48Gavin continues to garner disproportionate attention and become a folk
- 15:52hero of sorts and to outclass some of his opponents
- 15:55as he gets in their kitchen. Then the mainstream media
- 15:58is more than happy to help with Rolling Stone Country,
- 16:00platforming Adcock on their Nashville Now podcast and specifically needing
- 16:05a needling Gavin about his previous as Zach Bryan tiff
- 16:08over fan interaction, pouring fuel on the fire. For those
- 16:13that don't remember, Zach Bryan was criticized by some fans
- 16:16for not meeting with them after a stadium show earlier
- 16:18in the summer. Gavin Adcock then called out Zach Bryan
- 16:22directly in the greater contact. Zach Bryan did not deserve
- 16:26to be criticized. He's a stadium act that sold out
- 16:29three consecutive nights. He can't expect to meet with every
- 16:32single fan afterwards. But just like at Barnet Born and Raised,
- 16:37Zach decided to engage with his detractors and the worst
- 16:40of him came out. That previous interaction with Adcock is
- 16:43what fueled this weekend's confrontation. Gavin Adcock should have not
- 16:47been booked at Born and Raised Festival or the Texas
- 16:50Two Step In Festival in April. That appearance also caused
- 16:53disruptions these promoters have no idea what they're doing, says
- 16:57Saving Country Music, and even more for us, they all
- 17:00cheat off each other's lineup to the point that no
- 17:03matter what major festival you go, all across the country,
- 17:06the lineup is the same. While artists that never make
- 17:09it in these lineups never get an opportunity to break through.
- 17:13The whole thing is embarrassing. It feels embarrassing to be
- 17:15writing this article right now, says the writer. And the
- 17:18big winner here is the guy who is quickly becoming
- 17:20country music's wrestling heel, Gavin Adcock, because people are paying
- 17:24attention to him, which is exactly what he wants but
- 17:27doesn't deserve. In a more relaxed story, Vince Gill releases
- 17:32new extended version of legendary song. On August twenty eighth,
- 17:38twenty twenty five, Vinskill's legendary eulogy Go Rest High on
- 17:41the Mountain celebrated the thirtieth anniversary of its release. Saving
- 17:46Country Music mark the occasion with a retrospective on the
- 17:48song and the impact that it's had. Though only a
- 17:52minor hit upon its release by reaching number fourteen on
- 17:54the charts, the song has since become one of the
- 17:57most beloved in country music or in the history of
- 17:59country music, let alone the history of Vince Gill. Now,
- 18:03to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of the song, an extended
- 18:06version of the song has been released. It includes a
- 18:09verse that Vince Gill commonly includes when singing it live.
- 18:13He first added the verse when performing the song with
- 18:15his wife Amy Grant during a Christmas performance at the
- 18:18Riemann Auditorium back in twenty nineteen. The last thirty years,
- 18:23I've always felt like something was missing from this song,
- 18:26Gill explained recently. With this new third verse, I finally
- 18:29feel like the song is complete. You're safely home in
- 18:32the arms of Jesus eternal life. My brother's found. The
- 18:36day will come. I know I'll see him in that
- 18:38sacred place, on that holy ground. Though the words in
- 18:42Vince Gill's singing of him are new to the recording,
- 18:46they use the original sound bed for the song to
- 18:48create the new version, and don't worry if you prefer
- 18:51the old version. It can still be found on his
- 18:53album When Love Finds You and streaming services. Also as
- 18:57part of the thirtieth anniversary and in conjunct with the
- 19:00new version, label MCA Nashville went through the process of
- 19:04reevaluating the sales and streams of the song, and it's
- 19:07now officially certified double Platinum bar by the RIAA as
- 19:12of September twelfth, speaking to the songs enduring impact. Also,
- 19:17Vince Gal will perform the new extended version of the
- 19:19song on Sunday during in the memoriam segment as part
- 19:23of the twenty twenty five Emmy Awards. Vince Gill was
- 19:27first struck by inspiration to write the song in nineteen
- 19:29eighty nine with the tragic death of Keith Whitley, but
- 19:32never quite got the song to where he wanted it
- 19:34to be. When Gil's older brother Bob died in nineteen
- 19:37ninety three, this is what inspired Vince to complete it.
- 19:41Neither Keith Whitley nor Gil's brother Bob were named in
- 19:44the song directly. Whitley, however, is alluded to though when
- 19:48the song I'm No Stranger to the Rain is referenced
- 19:51in the first verse. Now we tip our hat to
- 19:55Taste of Country, where the first article published on September fifteen,
- 20:01Jelly Roll's weight loss Journey's gonna cost him literally. Jelly
- 20:05Roll's weight loss journey has led him to an important
- 20:08new milestone, but it's not one he could have afforded
- 20:10several years ago. The Heart of Stone singer took the
- 20:14social media to share his latest photos, proudly showing off
- 20:17the progress that he's made. Last month, jelly Roll revealed
- 20:21that he'd lost more than one hundred and eighty pounds
- 20:23since overhauling his diet and lifestyle. At his heaviest, he
- 20:26says he weighed over five hundred pounds. He set his
- 20:29goal is to make the cover of Men's Health magazine
- 20:32next year. His latest milestone, well, I can fit into
- 20:35a Louis Vutan now pray for my bank accounts is
- 20:38jelly Roll. Louis Vuton, the iconic French luxury brand lists
- 20:43men's shorts and pants at prices comparable to many Americans'
- 20:46weekly paychecks and fanny packs that run about twenty six
- 20:50hundred dollars. Jelly Roll shared the two images from Europe,
- 20:54where he's currently touring with Post Malone. The photos were
- 20:57taken at Vatican City, where he actually got to meet
- 21:00the Pope. Fans continue to be overwhelmingly supportive of jelly
- 21:04Roll's health journey, with hundreds of comments and more than
- 21:07one hundred thousand likes on the latest Instagram post, several
- 21:11celebrities have chimed in too. The hunkiest hunk of them all,
- 21:15wife Bonnie Exo wrote beneath the two photos, Oh he's
- 21:19looking good, shouts Carly Pearce. Jelly Roll has two more
- 21:22European shows left, but he'll spend a significant amount of
- 21:25time in New Zealand and Australia later this year before
- 21:29coming home in time for the holidays. Musically, he's between albums,
- 21:33but he's found excess with duet partners including Shaboozi Ahmen
- 21:37and Brandon Lake. Hard Fought Hallelujah. Next, Old Dominion reveals
- 21:43what happened to drummer Wit Sellers. It's been about four
- 21:46years since Old Dominion's Witch Sellers walked a red carpet,
- 21:50and it sounds like that streak will continue. Yes, the
- 21:53group's drummer is still in the band, but singer Matt
- 21:56Ramsey admits that they have to reset expectations to make
- 21:58sure he remains the band of the five. Ramsey and
- 22:02Sellers have known each other longest, having both gone to
- 22:05school near Roanoke, Virginia. After some success as solo songwriters.
- 22:10Old Dominion's first hit was shut Me Up, which broke
- 22:13out on Sirius XM back in twenty fourteen. As a group,
- 22:18they've won the last seven CMA Vocal Duo of the
- 22:21Year awards and the last eight at the ACM Awards.
- 22:25Sellers began to skip red carpet and junket style interviews
- 22:28after the pandemic. When the band has visited with Taste
- 22:32of Country in recent years, it's been Ramsey, brad Tersey,
- 22:35Trevor Rosen, and Jeff Sprung, but all assured fans their
- 22:39drummer was doing fine without further explanation. Well, that changed
- 22:43last week when Ramsey spoke to Bobby Bones for his
- 22:46Bobby Cast podcast. He has crippling social anxiety, the singer shares,
- 22:51about ninety seconds into the conversation, we had to come
- 22:54up with a new agreement within the band with him
- 22:57so that he could or could opt out of all
- 22:59that stuff. What tended to happen was interviewers Taste of
- 23:03Country included would work hard to get sellers to talk.
- 23:06When they noticed he was quiet, Shining a light on
- 23:09him would advance the problem. So at some point he
- 23:12came to the group and he just said, I can't
- 23:13do it any longer. So the new agreement is that
- 23:16if music needs to be played or faked as in
- 23:19a music video, or if it's more important promotional moment
- 23:22like an album cover photo shoot, then Sellers needs to
- 23:26be there. Other than that, he just needs to be
- 23:28there to play drums, which he one hundred percent still loves.
- 23:34Here's a list from Taste of Country the Music the
- 23:37country music tours schedule for the rest of twenty twenty

- 26:34Green's Cowboy As It Gets to Her through August twenty second,
- 26:39and finally, Kenny Chesney recording a new project that breaks
- 26:42away from country music. Kenny Chesney was spotted in a
- 26:46recording studio in front of a microphone recording a new
- 26:48project that breaks away from country music. The American Kids
- 26:53singer is right smack dab in the middle of recording
- 26:56his first ever audiobook, Heart Life Music, which comes out
- 27:00audibly and in book form on November fourth. Jesney admits
- 27:04it's actually been quite hard getting the vocal recording done,
- 27:07saying it takes a lot longer than I thought to
- 27:10record an audiobook, or maybe it's just I would get
- 27:13lost in seeing all the people and places along the way.
- 27:17The book takes you along the twenty five year Hall
- 27:19of Fame worthy ride that is Chesney's storied career, a
- 27:23career so enormous that the man himself got lost in
- 27:25the memories. The Superstar notes, in a way, it's what
- 27:30I did with my summer vacation, visit all these adventures
- 27:33I've had, because when I started to hear the stories,
- 27:35I felt like I was living them all over again.
- 27:38This book promises to connect all of the dots and
- 27:41reveal more than we might already know about Chesney, his
- 27:43life and his career. Jesney says, I got to live
- 27:47this crazy dream alongside so many heroes make great friends.
- 27:51Hearing it come out of my mouth, it's a lot
- 27:52to take in. I almost wouldn't believe it if I
- 27:55hadn't been there myself. Granted, there will likely be stories
- 27:59that have to be omitted, but the ones we do
- 28:01get to hear will take us back in our own
- 28:03heads as well to a time in our lives when
- 28:05things may have been a lot simpler. In October of
- 28:09this year, Kenny Chesney will officially get inducted into the
- 28:12Country Music Hall of Fame as part of the annual
- 28:15Medallion ceremony. And as you may know, Kenny Chesney is
- 28:18now fifty seven years old, having been born in March
- 28:22of nineteen sixty eight. Well, this concludes the reading of
