John 11:11 This He said, and after that He said to them, "Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep; but I go, so that I may awaken him out of sleep." The love of God that is the Light of the world, knew Lazarus had not died the death that occurs because of sin, but had “fallen asleep.” Love was going to awaken him. This must have excited Jesus!
