- 0:57Speaker 2: of one. I am a father of two. We had
- 0:59Speaker 2: a little brunch this weekend. We'll dive into the BAR
- 1:02Speaker 2: three event got canceled with BAR three and for the dads.
- 1:05Speaker 1: That was that was sad alert.
- 1:07Speaker 2: That was all the all the rain, all the storm
- 1:09Speaker 2: that all the storms that took place just wasn't able
- 1:12Speaker 2: to make it happen. An update on Eavy the Brave.
- 1:16Speaker 2: If you guys remember last week Dylan Evy's that father
- 1:21Speaker 2: wrote in Dylan Pain, this is a child that they
- 1:25Speaker 2: went in for a routine check up with their pediatrician
- 1:28Speaker 2: and they located a lump like near her spine, like
- 1:31Speaker 2: in her abdomen and found out that it was a
- 1:34Speaker 2: tumor that they had to get removed. All the doctors
- 1:37Speaker 2: told them that they should go through a couple rounds
- 1:39Speaker 2: of chemo to see if that could do the trick.
- 1:41Speaker 2: They go through a couple of rounds of chemo, they
- 1:43Speaker 2: realize they have to get the tumor removed. They fly
- 1:46Speaker 2: to New York, Heavy the Brave, being the badass that
- 1:48Speaker 2: she is, come mom. They used the good mentality. They
- 1:51Speaker 2: used that we get to go to New York mentality
- 1:54Speaker 2: to get work with the best surgeons in the world.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Evvy the Brave had surgery on last Thursday day to
- 2:01Speaker 2: get ninety percent of the tumor removed. There was a
- 2:03Speaker 2: five inch by three inch tumor that was sitting very
- 2:05Speaker 2: close to her spine, not a very contradictory place for
- 2:09Speaker 2: a tumor to be. It felt like very much so
- 2:12Speaker 2: a life and death surgery. Surgery went well. Heavy the
- 2:16Speaker 2: Brave is doing great. She crushed it. We got photos.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Mom and dad updated us throughout the entire process. All
- 2:22Speaker 2: went well with the surgery. There's also go fundme for
- 2:25Speaker 2: all the expenses that kind of took place. We will
- 2:27Speaker 2: pin that at the top of our ex profile at
- 2:30Speaker 2: for the Dad's pod on x. If you want to
- 2:32Speaker 2: go donate, please do we encourage you to. This family
- 2:35Speaker 2: seems incredible. If you guys listened to the episode last week,
- 2:38Speaker 2: the entire email that Dylan wrote in at the end
- 2:42Speaker 2: of the episode last week broke everything down. It was
- 2:44Speaker 2: a very emotional read. But Heavy the Brave you crushed it.
- 2:50Speaker 2: She crushed it. Updated everything as well with Evvy. I
- 2:54Speaker 2: don't know, I'm sure we'll be sharing photos like as
- 2:56Speaker 2: you guys watched this so but her mom did post
- 2:58Speaker 2: they had a carousel of how the surgery went, and
- 3:01Speaker 2: even photo of the of the tumor. Instagram tells you, hey,
- 3:05Speaker 2: you can see why we're not showing you the photo,
- 3:08Speaker 2: but you can click to see the photo to see
- 3:10Speaker 2: the photo. Tumor is out all as well. Heavy the
- 3:13Speaker 2: Brave kicked ass. Let you know how badass she truly is.
- 3:18Speaker 3: When I saw that tumor too, like truly, I was like,
- 3:21Speaker 3: oh my god, Yeah, I dude.
- 3:24Speaker 2: I found myself throughout the week just being nervous for
- 3:29Speaker 2: just the reasons of her old man writing and just
- 3:31Speaker 2: having this optimistic, very emotional sad feels like very scary.
- 3:38Speaker 2: This could go the other way and it could be
- 3:41Speaker 2: one of the saddest moments of all time, and you're
- 3:44Speaker 2: sharing this with us. And so I found myself being
- 3:46Speaker 2: nervous throughout the week, you know, telling my wife, Hey,
- 3:49Speaker 2: surgery is supposed to be on Friday. I know they
- 3:51Speaker 2: got it pushed up or it got pushed to day. Yeah,
- 3:54Speaker 2: where they got in on Thursday, And just thinking about
- 3:57Speaker 2: Heavy the Brave a lot and following along on social
- 3:59Speaker 2: media and not like just praying for the best man
- 4:03Speaker 2: and I'm so glad it worked out.
- 4:05Speaker 3: Very special of us to uh for his family, to
- 4:10Speaker 3: share that with us, to share it with the PT
- 4:14Speaker 3: six community, all the people in their life and the
- 4:18Speaker 3: PT sixers that are flooding the comments, all the people
- 4:21Speaker 3: that were flooding the GoFundMe. You do not have to
- 4:24Speaker 3: give to the GoFundMe, but if you feel led to
- 4:27Speaker 3: absolutely hit it up. The amount of people on that
- 4:31Speaker 3: go fundme, it'd been up for you know, only a
- 4:34Speaker 3: couple of days, and that thing was just flying and
- 4:37Speaker 3: it's just.
- 4:38Speaker 1: It's so much positivity, dude.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Yeah, Like it's good to see Papa Team six rally, Like, yeah, yeah,
- 4:44Speaker 2: I'm calling in the cavalry. Yeah, I need everybody to
- 4:46Speaker 2: show up. And you were thinking, like how much do
- 4:48Speaker 2: we want to share? How much do we want to
- 4:50Speaker 2: do all the things, like it's your you guys are
- 4:52Speaker 2: going through this, but really cool man, because I can
- 4:55Speaker 2: only imagine going in for a routine check up with
- 4:57Speaker 2: your pediatrician and your uh, your toddler has been operating
- 5:02Speaker 2: normal and they just find a find assist in a
- 5:05Speaker 2: very complicated location near the spine to where hey, we
- 5:08Speaker 2: got to get on top of this. Now completely flip
- 5:11Speaker 2: your world upside down, but shout out, Dylan. What's his
- 5:15Speaker 2: I'm looking at Dylan's email right here? What is his?
- 5:18Speaker 2: His wife's name? Do you remembers with a V? And
- 5:23Speaker 2: I have Vanessa. I believe it is Vanessa Destiny somewhere, Vivian.
- 5:29Speaker 3: It is Destiny. It's Destiny. It's not the It's not
- 5:33Speaker 3: at all. I say when you said Destiny, I was like,
- 5:38Speaker 3: I don't know if that.
- 5:40Speaker 2: And it is. He's spot on in Heavy the Brave Man.
- 5:45Speaker 2: But yeah, shout out to them. Thank you guys for
- 5:48Speaker 2: keeping us updated. We do have follow ups from the family,
- 5:51Speaker 2: but just to let people know when you subscribe and
- 5:55Speaker 2: when you follow and when you share with the dad. Hey,
- 5:57Speaker 2: that new Papa Team Heat just dropped and you want
- 6:00Speaker 2: to let him know, Oh, what is what?
- 6:02Speaker 4: What?
- 6:02Speaker 2: What Papa Team Heat? Are you talking about? What? What?
- 6:04Speaker 1: What is Papa Team's Will? What's Team Heat?
- 6:07Speaker 2: Just hit him with a couple of follow ups from
- 6:10Speaker 2: last week? Sod And here's a joke right here. You
- 6:13Speaker 2: can hit him with this heat Like, here's the content
- 6:15Speaker 2: you'll be getting from Papa Team six. This is from
- 6:17Speaker 2: former footballer on YouTube. What I heard last week was
- 6:21Speaker 2: that Will got an assist finding an excuse for pissing
- 6:24Speaker 2: the bed. Couldn't resist the dad, Joe, glad, you're good.
- 6:31Speaker 1: We also have there's Vanessa. That's why.
- 6:35Speaker 2: That's why you taught me.
- 6:38Speaker 3: We also have Vanessa that we had a call in
- 6:41Speaker 3: last week of someone that was mewing their lawn and
- 6:44Speaker 3: they were very out of breath.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Oh what, oh? Will? What's going on here? Will? What
- 6:50Speaker 2: is we got a birthday? Will?
- 6:54Speaker 1: What is this? Or your university?
- 6:57Speaker 5: Are you Derek Bird getting frame?
- 7:04Speaker 1: Derek's getting burned your frame?
- 7:08Speaker 2: Yeah? Is this our fifty second episode? Do you want
- 7:11Speaker 2: going to light the other sparklers again?
- 7:13Speaker 5: No?
- 7:13Speaker 2: No, I was gonna say, I don't know the way
- 7:15Speaker 2: you were kind of scattering. Happy fifty it's been up
- 7:18Speaker 2: we all sure, Happy Year univers period. Should we start
- 7:23Speaker 2: with a little birthdays?
- 7:29Speaker 4: Happy birthday too, Happy birthday?
- 7:41Speaker 1: Got one hundred from these.
- 7:46Speaker 6: Birthday make a wish, Thank you Gid forrase.
- 7:58Speaker 7: Originally SUREM had four sparklers on each side, and we
- 8:02Speaker 7: would assure that was a bad idea.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Dude, this is awesome. Let's go heavy birthday to us?
- 8:08Speaker 2: Happy birthday to us, dude, this has been so much fun.
- 8:13Speaker 2: So yeah, dude, where I was.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Nervous that entire time. I don't even know why.
- 8:19Speaker 7: Well, and the other side was like, I was like, hey, guys,
- 8:21Speaker 7: let's keep it really light at the beginning so I
- 8:23Speaker 7: can bring the cake in. And then you guys start
- 8:24Speaker 7: talking about Eve the Brave. So I sat in the
- 8:25Speaker 7: back of the ryana. Great times splattered.
- 8:28Speaker 3: Well some great timing, by the way, because I when
- 8:33Speaker 3: we were talking about Ivy, I'm sitting there the entire
- 8:36Speaker 3: time waiting for that door to fly open, and I'm like,
- 8:39Speaker 3: poor deeck, Yes, yeah, you are very good.
- 8:43Speaker 2: We have some water. We might have to just pause
- 8:45Speaker 2: the soada for a second. We're back. Happy birthday to us,
- 8:48Speaker 2: Happy Birthday. It's been an incredible year.
- 8:51Speaker 1: It has been.
- 8:52Speaker 2: It's exceeded my expectations. The communities exceeded my expectations.
- 8:57Speaker 3: Yes, hit'll hit a little pop Due. Yeah, hit a
- 9:03Speaker 3: little desk Pop.
- 9:05Speaker 2: Papa Team six, Welcome to another episode before the Dad.
- 9:12Speaker 2: That'll be in the trailer. Yeah, just for everyone to know.
- 9:15Speaker 1: I know, shuffle like that one.
- 9:19Speaker 2: You got me feeling some type of way.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Yeah, what do you do you want to hit?
- 9:23Speaker 3: This wasn't even on our production sheet, But do you
- 9:25Speaker 3: want to hit anything from the past year?
- 9:28Speaker 1: That stuck out, and that's that's open to any of us.
- 9:33Speaker 2: Four like the things that stand out that I think
- 9:36Speaker 2: represents the show very well, And it's their comments that
- 9:39Speaker 2: kind of come in every week or every other week.
- 9:42Speaker 2: But when we're having those moments of like, uh, I
- 9:46Speaker 2: don't know. You can be laughing one moment and then
- 9:48Speaker 2: crying the next, and in a weird way, you feel
- 9:52Speaker 2: safe doing it because of how the you know what
- 9:55Speaker 2: I mean. It's almost like, uh, you can tell the
- 9:58Speaker 2: audience is like almost doing it with us, because every
- 10:01Speaker 2: time that I cry or I've got emotional, especially earlier on,
- 10:04Speaker 2: it's like, oh man, what a confusing way to go
- 10:08Speaker 2: about a show. Because we have so much fun, we
- 10:12Speaker 2: dive into deeper conversations. Yeah, we have fun with the audience.
- 10:17Speaker 2: We are loose about you know, we have some we
- 10:20Speaker 2: we kind of push the boundaries with jokes at times,
- 10:22Speaker 2: and I know when we get off the sod we
- 10:24Speaker 2: almost overthink should we be talking this way or should
- 10:27Speaker 2: we be asking these questions or should we be doing
- 10:29Speaker 2: this or do we need to posture a certain way
- 10:31Speaker 2: because you feel like a lot of serious parents can
- 10:34Speaker 2: be tuned in. But then you see the fun that
- 10:36Speaker 2: people have. Basically, you realize you overthink everything. It's like,
- 10:41Speaker 2: just be ourselves and if the moment when we're reading
- 10:44Speaker 2: something is making us emotional, to be emotional, it's all good.
- 10:48Speaker 2: If we're having fun and laughing and going on tangents
- 10:51Speaker 2: or drifting on a bit or a joke and just
- 10:55Speaker 2: be ourselves. And you know, I know as a dad,
- 10:59Speaker 2: I'm as often and it's very much a world even
- 11:04Speaker 2: just as a human being. All we do is sit
- 11:06Speaker 2: there and fail and keep going and keep going and
- 11:09Speaker 2: trying to learn from more mistakes and lean on people,
- 11:12Speaker 2: lean on tribe, lean on community. And we have such
- 11:14Speaker 2: an incredible community with pop a Team six. And sometimes
- 11:17Speaker 2: I'll be catching myself, like in my bed just scrolling
- 11:19Speaker 2: to recomments or seeing any substance that somebody might have
- 11:23Speaker 2: and just seeing everybody or seeing people reply to each other.
- 11:27Speaker 2: I love it.
- 11:28Speaker 3: But that's one of my favorite things. It's seeing PT
- 11:31Speaker 3: six replied to BT six people out in the wild.
- 11:34Speaker 3: They're just saying one thing. There was some theme park
- 11:39Speaker 3: that some guy posted that he was going with this
- 11:42Speaker 3: family to a theme park.
- 11:45Speaker 1: In our group message on X or our group Twitter
- 11:49Speaker 1: on X.
- 11:50Speaker 3: And a dad underneath it was like, just left Dollywood, man,
- 11:55Speaker 3: look out, they're red and blues outside the gate. Don't
- 11:58Speaker 3: think anything serious. But some was going down in the
- 12:01Speaker 3: parking lot with like a picture of cop come. I
- 12:04Speaker 3: was like, it's the most bet sixth thing I've ever
- 12:08Speaker 3: seen it.
- 12:09Speaker 2: Dad jumping into his little Facebook group. Yes, they just
- 12:12Speaker 2: letting them know, yeah, keep your eyes out. And it didn't.
- 12:16Speaker 3: Nothing looks scary, man, I'm just letting you know there's
- 12:18Speaker 3: some red and blues out there. Yeah, I would say
- 12:22Speaker 3: to your note of like a safe place to cry
- 12:25Speaker 3: and laugh. I often think of my closest friendships growing up,
- 12:31Speaker 3: people that I'm like lifelong friends with, and I think
- 12:35Speaker 3: about our relationships of like the frustrations that you have together,
- 12:41Speaker 3: not against each other, but just like together, and the
- 12:45Speaker 3: the moments where somebody's crying or somebody's like opening up
- 12:49Speaker 3: and sharing all the laughs, dude, especially for my friends
- 12:54Speaker 3: and I a ton of laughing, a ton of having fun.
- 12:57Speaker 3: And I think about those relationships, I'm like, those are
- 13:00Speaker 3: my closest friends in the entire world. And I think
- 13:03Speaker 3: about this show and how much we evoke that. Naturally,
- 13:11Speaker 3: this show is not planned out from the standpoint of Hey,
- 13:15Speaker 3: we got to laugh really hard at this and cry
- 13:18Speaker 3: really hard at this.
- 13:19Speaker 1: We do have clips meetings, we do have social.
- 13:23Speaker 3: Calendars that Dica is built out and stuff, but a
- 13:26Speaker 3: lot of this is just organic of us sitting down
- 13:29Speaker 3: and kind of sharing what's on our mind or what's
- 13:31Speaker 3: on our hearts.
- 13:32Speaker 1: And I have been desperate for that.
- 13:37Speaker 3: Like I know a lot of people will say when
- 13:40Speaker 3: I meet them in person that listened to the podcast, like, man,
- 13:44Speaker 3: it's the best community.
- 13:45Speaker 2: I was so starve for your community.
- 13:46Speaker 3: I don't have any friends that have kids, and I'm like, dude,
- 13:50Speaker 3: you're talking to me. That is literally me, dude, Like
- 13:54Speaker 3: when I get to go hang out with you and
- 13:56Speaker 3: we'll talk about it with the brunch stuff, but like
- 13:59Speaker 3: when I get to hang out with you at brunch
- 14:01Speaker 3: with your daughters, like that truly fills my soul now
- 14:05Speaker 3: that I'm a dad, cause I feel like I can
- 14:08Speaker 3: naturally interact with them now and they're not just Will's kids.
- 14:12Speaker 2: You know.
- 14:13Speaker 3: Yah, and I have a friendship with you, And while
- 14:17Speaker 3: we're hanging out with the kids, we're both you and
- 14:19Speaker 3: I are bitching about whatever and we're laughing, and it
- 14:23Speaker 3: is like, that's what this podcast is.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, like there something could be going on, and
- 14:30Speaker 2: we find ways to I guess like storytell with it
- 14:34Speaker 2: to almost like get it off our chest in a way. Yeah.
- 14:37Speaker 2: And then when you see other people resonate with it
- 14:43Speaker 2: or you have those conversations in passing when you see
- 14:45Speaker 2: a PT sixer in the wild and bring up a
- 14:47Speaker 2: moment that you're talking about, it almost just tells you, oh,
- 14:50Speaker 2: they go through this stuff too, big time dude, and hey,
- 14:54Speaker 2: are we in the content game? Yeah.
- 14:57Speaker 3: But that's the other thing I love about this show
- 14:59Speaker 3: is we never go, oh, talk about and we got
- 15:01Speaker 3: to talk about that because that's what all the pairs
- 15:03Speaker 3: go through. That's what's gonna get the clicks. Everybody's gonna
- 15:06Speaker 3: click on that. It's like we we talk about something,
- 15:10Speaker 3: we make a clip and it's like, oh, all the
- 15:12Speaker 3: wives love the shit on their husband for blank.
- 15:15Speaker 2: We kind of stumbled into that one. Yeah, you know.
- 15:18Speaker 2: And then the uh, the impact that it feels like
- 15:22Speaker 2: the show's had because we feel we always feel almost like, uh,
- 15:26Speaker 2: what is it like imposter syndrome big time or not
- 15:30Speaker 2: worthy to read. It's almost like breaking down Eavy the
- 15:32Speaker 2: Brave Yeah, Dylan right in And then I think of
- 15:35Speaker 2: a moment throughout the past year, one that I it
- 15:38Speaker 2: wasn't it wasn't too long ago. But when that gentleman
- 15:44Speaker 2: rode in to talk about how he lost his wife
- 15:50Speaker 2: before he was supposed to go with his with his
- 15:52Speaker 2: unit in the military, Yes, and to get on a
- 15:56Speaker 2: plane that ended up cracky like relok.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Yeah, he really located down to Arkansas.
- 16:01Speaker 2: He's like learning and this is this is like what
- 16:03Speaker 2: eight to ten years ago. Yes, now he's kind of
- 16:06Speaker 2: breaking he was breaking it down with us. He's like,
- 16:08Speaker 2: I'm learning how to be a girl dad in real
- 16:10Speaker 2: time with two girls. He now has a wife years later,
- 16:15Speaker 2: but he talked about how hard that moment was for
- 16:17Speaker 2: him when he lost his wife and then come to
- 16:19Speaker 2: find out shortly after that unit on that plane crashed
- 16:24Speaker 2: and he wore this guilt of not being on the
- 16:27Speaker 2: plane with his unit. Yeah, and he's breaking down all
- 16:31Speaker 2: of his feelings for us wrapped up in an email
- 16:34Speaker 2: because he just wrote in a six on one of
- 16:36Speaker 2: the dads at gmail dot com send it to us
- 16:39Speaker 2: our Gmail. Yeah. And then a week or two later,
- 16:43Speaker 2: another dude calls in saying that I was part of
- 16:47Speaker 2: the recovery unit on that flight because the dude that
- 16:51Speaker 2: wrote in the email gave the tag number and everything else.
- 16:54Speaker 2: And then that guy's like, I was the one at
- 16:57Speaker 2: that recovery at.
- 16:58Speaker 1: That site, at that site, and he's.
- 17:02Speaker 2: Like speaking to him through the show like if you're
- 17:05Speaker 2: hearing me right now, I hope you're doing all right
- 17:09Speaker 2: on a voicemail and that Like, as I was getting
- 17:12Speaker 2: to the end of it, I start feeling the nose
- 17:13Speaker 2: tangled because that is that is insane.
- 17:18Speaker 3: That's not only small world. That's like really special that
- 17:23Speaker 3: it's our little world. Yeah, that that all happened in
- 17:27Speaker 3: our little corner of the universe.
- 17:30Speaker 2: Yeah, that a dude that went through something was breaking
- 17:32Speaker 2: it down on an email what he went through eight
- 17:35Speaker 2: to ten years ago, and he's sharing with us. And
- 17:38Speaker 2: then another cat that was connected to him in this
- 17:41Speaker 2: way on the crash site is listening to the same show.
- 17:45Speaker 2: Here's him right in sees the tag number that he's
- 17:47Speaker 2: talking about goes back in his role dex to be back.
- 17:49Speaker 2: I was part of the group all that crash site
- 17:53Speaker 2: from eight to ten years ago.
- 17:56Speaker 1: It's it's crazy because I really do.
- 17:59Speaker 3: For I'm a work standpoint. I look at numbers of podcasts.
- 18:03Speaker 3: That's obviously my job. Yeah, I look at numbers on
- 18:07Speaker 3: clips and stuff, but it's very much through the lens
- 18:10Speaker 3: of like a professional lens of like how is the
- 18:12Speaker 3: brand growing and all that stuff, But like when you
- 18:14Speaker 3: really break down the numbers and just how much of
- 18:19Speaker 3: PT six gets involved with the comments And we've been
- 18:23Speaker 3: talking about that since the beginning, but the ratio is wild.
- 18:28Speaker 1: Of you go to any and.
- 18:30Speaker 3: I'm not saying this in a bragging this is bragging
- 18:32Speaker 3: on you guys listening to the show. Go to any
- 18:35Speaker 3: podcast that's averaging the amount of views that we average
- 18:39Speaker 3: on YouTube, Spotify, whatever, and go look at their comments sections,
- 18:44Speaker 3: because I guarantee you it doesn't even touch the stuff
- 18:48Speaker 3: that's going on in our comments sections.
- 18:50Speaker 2: Is no easy, especially like even on Spotify, it's like
- 18:53Speaker 2: we have Busts with the Boys. Bust with the Boys
- 18:55Speaker 2: is big, and knowing that the comment section on for
- 18:58Speaker 2: the Dads just murders it is fascinating to me, fascinating,
- 19:05Speaker 2: it's really cool. I think of another another one. If
- 19:07Speaker 2: I think of some of these moments on four the
- 19:09Speaker 2: Dads last year, remember earlier, I remember somebody internationally wrote
- 19:15Speaker 2: in because they lost their daughter, bro and I was
- 19:20Speaker 2: telling a story and their daughter's name was Nelly. And
- 19:25Speaker 2: I was telling a story about ru having an imaginary fear,
- 19:28Speaker 2: and and Rue would take me into the pantry and
- 19:30Speaker 2: we would, you know, hang out with Nelly. And this,
- 19:34Speaker 2: this parent writes in feeling like it's God in the universe,
- 19:38Speaker 2: connecting it all because their child's name was Nelly. That
- 19:45Speaker 2: one was crazy, dude, Yeah, crazy, because I have that
- 19:50Speaker 2: card still like sitting in my closet at home.
- 19:52Speaker 1: I don't think i'll ever.
- 19:53Speaker 3: I could be on my deathbed and you could ask
- 19:55Speaker 3: me about the call in of the guy that made
- 19:58Speaker 3: the teddy bear out of the recliner chair. Yeah, I
- 20:02Speaker 3: could be on my deathbed and I will remember the
- 20:04Speaker 3: way he giggles towards the end of My wife is
- 20:07Speaker 3: going to be so happy, man.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Yeah, can't wait to see her.
- 20:09Speaker 3: I'm about to cry because I'm like, that's that is unreal.
- 20:14Speaker 3: And for anybody that doesn't know the story I'm referring to.
- 20:17Speaker 3: His wife's dad passed away when she was very young.
- 20:21Speaker 3: She was like in her twenties, low twenties, and the
- 20:26Speaker 3: only thing that she really kept of her dad's was
- 20:29Speaker 3: this recliner and her husband takes the fabric of the
- 20:33Speaker 3: recliner and makes a teddy bear for their daughter out
- 20:37Speaker 3: of the recliner material.
- 20:39Speaker 2: The people if you are angry at.
- 20:43Speaker 3: The world and you think that everything is going to
- 20:46Speaker 3: hell in a handbasket, which rather or not it is,
- 20:49Speaker 3: I don't know, but if you want a little positivity
- 20:52Speaker 3: or some hope in the universe, like this show has
- 20:57Speaker 3: been that for me.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Can we pitch you another one? On top of that?
- 21:01Speaker 7: That was in that same ammimt Yes was the young
- 21:02Speaker 7: lady who called in saying she was not our key
- 21:04Speaker 7: demographic but just ripped on her dad and how they
- 21:07Speaker 7: watched sports like bro that songle where she sent in
- 21:10Speaker 7: pictures of the dad and like we've gotten so many
- 21:12Speaker 7: other voicemails and emails off the heels of that of
- 21:15Speaker 7: young women and older women and young girls and ladies
- 21:18Speaker 7: and everybody from all walks of life tuning into the
- 21:20Speaker 7: show because of how their connection with their dad was
- 21:23Speaker 7: or wasn't. That That voicemail is the one that lives
- 21:25Speaker 7: run free in my head of her just basically calling
- 21:27Speaker 7: in to let us know how much her dad rips
- 21:30Speaker 7: like and that.
- 21:31Speaker 2: Was when he was telling his story The other one
- 21:33Speaker 2: that was flickering in my head was having yet daughters
- 21:37Speaker 2: call in and write in and just shouting out their dad. Man.
- 21:44Speaker 3: All the bonus stuff too, of like just the relationships
- 21:47Speaker 3: that I've gotten to build with Deec and with Chef obviously,
- 21:51Speaker 3: with you, gain to be on the mic alongside you,
- 21:55Speaker 3: which I'm forever grateful for this opportunity to h get
- 22:01Speaker 3: to know you more and get to share in this
- 22:05Speaker 3: with you, but getting to meet these guys too, And.
- 22:11Speaker 2: I don't know, it's like, uh.
- 22:13Speaker 3: It's stuff that you wish that you could just kind
- 22:15Speaker 3: of bottle up and like keep forever, uh with you.
- 22:20Speaker 3: And I'll get calls from Deeker Chef on the weekends
- 22:24Speaker 3: and just kind of like talking to them about work,
- 22:28Speaker 3: like short little conversations. But it's just like a different
- 22:31Speaker 3: kind of feel than any of my other work relationships
- 22:34Speaker 3: of I don't know, it's like a special little.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Thing we got here. Yeah, it makes my heart happy,
- 22:42Speaker 2: you know. Happy birthday, man, Happy birthday to us. So
- 22:46Speaker 2: let's let's get another year in. Yeah. Year two starts now.
- 22:50Speaker 2: Year two literally starts right now. Year two starts now.
- 22:53Speaker 2: We need we need beat six ers to share it
- 22:56Speaker 2: to spread the good news. Yes, hey, for our birthday present.
- 22:59Speaker 2: Just subscribe. Ye yeah, subscribed back a friend, Yeah, Tag
- 23:05Speaker 2: a buddy, Tag a buddy says my buddy's birthday.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Wish him happy birthday. Wish your happy birthday.
- 23:12Speaker 2: I know we were talking about Heavy the Brave, and
- 23:14Speaker 2: I do have a couple of follow ups from Dylan
- 23:17Speaker 2: her dad. Yeah, let's start with that. I love starting
- 23:21Speaker 2: with that. I really can't articulate well. Yesterday's pod meant
- 23:24Speaker 2: to us and especially to me. I listened every Wednesday
- 23:27Speaker 2: and to hear will Reader's story brought me to my knees.
- 23:30Speaker 2: It was truly special and something I'll always remember. I
- 23:32Speaker 2: knew the email was long, it was unsure if it
- 23:34Speaker 2: would if it would be read, but the fact that
- 23:37Speaker 2: you guys took the time to fit it in it
- 23:39Speaker 2: just honestly means the world. All I was looking for
- 23:41Speaker 2: when I wrote in was to have as many people
- 23:44Speaker 2: possible praying and thinking of my daughter and to just
- 23:47Speaker 2: put as much positive energy towards her out there into
- 23:50Speaker 2: the universe, and you guys helped me accomplish that. Forever
- 23:52Speaker 2: grateful for you and all the boys. Since writing in, Surgery,
- 23:56Speaker 2: date has been moved up to today and as I'm typing,
- 23:59Speaker 2: this's an hour into her operation. Even though this is
- 24:02Speaker 2: the scariest day of me and my wife's life, she
- 24:04Speaker 2: was all smiles this morning at six am when we
- 24:06Speaker 2: walked into the hospital. I'd love to keep in touch
- 24:09Speaker 2: with you guys and give updates as we navigate this.
- 24:11Speaker 2: Once again, thank you all for putting her story out there.
- 24:13Speaker 2: Thank you will for reading her story, and as always
- 24:16Speaker 2: I appreciate the raw motion and delivery. Thank you sharing
- 24:19Speaker 2: for the optimistic story he shared from his own experience
- 24:22Speaker 2: and speaking into existence on how great her surgical team
- 24:26Speaker 2: will be and how tough everly will be. And thank
- 24:29Speaker 2: you to the boys in the back for seeing my
- 24:30Speaker 2: email and making sure it ended up on the pod.
- 24:33Speaker 2: Nothing but love for you all, And this is heavy
- 24:36Speaker 2: the brave right here, bro, and shout out the surgeon,
- 24:42Speaker 2: and then shout out the surge.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Shout out the surgeon.
- 24:44Speaker 2: And then I have a write in here from Dylan's sister, Brianna.
- 24:49Speaker 2: Hello everyone, I'm Dylan's sister. Thank you so much for
- 24:51Speaker 2: all the love, prayers and thoughts you've shared. I've seen
- 24:54Speaker 2: a few comments asking if there is a GoFundMe shout
- 24:56Speaker 2: out to Evie's amazing aunt Aubrey for starting it. Heavy
- 25:00Speaker 2: is a Little Warrior because Dylan and his wife Destiny
- 25:03Speaker 2: are some of the strongest people I know. Throughout this
- 25:06Speaker 2: incredibly difficult time, they have never asked for help and
- 25:09Speaker 2: continue to pour everything they have into Heavy's care. I
- 25:12Speaker 2: wanted to share the GoFundMe titled support Everly's cancer Journey
- 25:16Speaker 2: for anyone who's interested. Thank you again hashtag heavye the
- 25:20Speaker 2: Brave You.
- 25:23Speaker 3: I got two messages Destiny the Mother says, thank you
- 25:27Speaker 3: so much.
- 25:28Speaker 2: This genuinely means more than you know.
- 25:30Speaker 3: We felt the love and prayers from everyone and has
- 25:32Speaker 3: carried us through some really scary moments. Evvy is such
- 25:36Speaker 3: a fighter and we're so grateful everything went as well
- 25:40Speaker 3: as it did. Thank you for using your platform to
- 25:42Speaker 3: love on our girl and keep people praying for We
- 25:46Speaker 3: appreciate you guys so much. And then Dylan just on
- 25:50Speaker 3: our YouTube commented to all the people that were put
- 25:54Speaker 3: in hearts and said, hey, this is Dylan the data
- 25:56Speaker 3: of Evie the Brave, and I wish I could personally
- 25:58Speaker 3: thank each and every one view who has put out
- 26:01Speaker 3: pink carts prayers and thoughts for our daughter out into
- 26:04Speaker 3: the universe. We love and appreciate this community so damn much.
- 26:10Speaker 3: After I wrote into the show about Evy or Heavy,
- 26:13Speaker 3: we were informed later that day that her surgery was
- 26:16Speaker 3: going to be moved up a day, which is today.
- 26:18Speaker 3: She's currently been surgery for two hours. Is about eight
- 26:21Speaker 3: to nine hours left to go? God, dude, ten hour surgery.
- 26:26Speaker 3: What a dog? I know, Ma, what a dog. From
- 26:32Speaker 3: the bottom of our hearts, thank you Evie the brave.
- 26:36Speaker 3: What a dog, dude. Yeah, that's a two year old girl.
- 26:41Speaker 2: Yeah, with a cancerous tumor right next to her spine
- 26:46Speaker 2: and she crushed it. Yeah, know that she was in
- 26:51Speaker 2: positive vibes at six in the morning.
- 26:55Speaker 3: Just playing with their blocks or mom, sit that picture
- 26:57Speaker 3: of her play with their blocks.
- 26:59Speaker 7: Dude, I'm sendings of she said, we have our sassy
- 27:03Speaker 7: little girl back. And Eve's kind of in the bed
- 27:05Speaker 7: and looks at her mom and goes because she was
- 27:08Speaker 7: recording her. But just our pinned tweet on x is
- 27:12Speaker 7: the go fundme and it is the message from her
- 27:14Speaker 7: family that says she did it after the longest, hardest,
- 27:17Speaker 7: mostarifying days of our life. A breakover made through the surgery.
- 27:19Speaker 7: Were so incredibly grateful. So if anyone has any questions
- 27:22Speaker 7: for there, go check that out.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Let's go, man, let's go. What else is new?
- 27:28Speaker 7: Do you know who asked about it the most? If
- 27:30Speaker 7: I could bring that up, I'm so sorry. Do you
- 27:31Speaker 7: remember the guy that called in that hates on all
- 27:33Speaker 7: the haters? No, I didn't put in the voicemail Cannon, Cannon,
- 27:37Speaker 7: thank you? He called in. He's like, hey, guys, I
- 27:39Speaker 7: normally know I'm a lot of funny. He's like, I
- 27:40Speaker 7: don't want this on the show, but like, can we
- 27:41Speaker 7: get an update? He's like, I feel like you guys
- 27:43Speaker 7: told us a story and then I'm just supposed to
- 27:44Speaker 7: cry on my own, Like, can I get an update?
- 27:46Speaker 2: So our hater Chaser has turned into a Navy the Brave.
- 27:49Speaker 3: Cannon's a dog, dude. I can't wait to have a
- 27:52Speaker 3: compilation of all his call ins. Cannon is a freaking dog.
- 27:57Speaker 3: Instead of commenting, he goes, what hey, why should I comment?
- 28:01Speaker 3: I have a voicemail. I could talk to the boys directly,
- 28:07Speaker 3: and it's incredible. Cannon's incredible. I haven't I have a
- 28:11Speaker 3: good loss. I got you got a good dad loss
- 28:17Speaker 3: losses here's a little change of pace for you. Currently
- 28:21Speaker 3: listening to today's episode, Well gave my car service. The
- 28:24Speaker 3: guy just came out and said, I need four new tires.
- 28:28Speaker 3: Person comments under that said, I heard a y saying
- 28:30Speaker 3: from a great man son. Listen to me because I'm
- 28:33Speaker 3: only going to tell it to you once. If it's
- 28:35Speaker 3: got tits or tires, it's going to give you problems.
- 28:47Speaker 2: That's it.
- 28:48Speaker 7: That's the Dad loss. So that's out of the discord.
- 28:52Speaker 7: Did you read the next Dad loss?
- 28:55Speaker 1: We got it back to back Dad losses. Well, I
- 28:57Speaker 1: have a dad win. So you hit the Dad losses
- 29:00Speaker 1: on a positive note. The fall up deadlocks that of
- 29:04Speaker 1: it targets out.
- 29:05Speaker 3: Of ollipop Chris Stapple again, good by the way you
- 29:12Speaker 3: see people rallying for Chris Bapple out there on the internet. Yes,
- 29:15Speaker 3: I think Chase also misinterpreted what you were saying.
- 29:21Speaker 7: What he thought you were upset that that Chris Pappa
- 29:24Speaker 7: was in the top five, and he rallied a community
- 29:27Speaker 7: of people on X to make you look like the
- 29:30Speaker 7: bad guy for Chris Papple. When you were arguing Chris
- 29:32Speaker 7: Papple should be one, two and three, he thought you
- 29:35Speaker 7: were saying Chris Bapple shouldn't be in the top five,
- 29:37Speaker 7: and ollipop, I want to say, they almost took his side.
- 29:40Speaker 2: I'm just a guy. You gotta get on a hand
- 29:43Speaker 2: man call team.
- 29:45Speaker 3: Because you and Chase were going for the same rebound
- 29:48Speaker 3: with the same jersey on, and then y'all.
- 29:52Speaker 2: That it felt confusing to me. I just didn't dive in.
- 29:54Speaker 2: I'm just assuming we're going back and forth because he
- 29:57Speaker 2: had Chris Bapple at five. He did, so what is he?
- 30:00Speaker 1: I think he's arguing against me for.
- 30:01Speaker 3: He thought you were saying Chris Bapple at five, Chris
- 30:05Speaker 3: Bapple shouldn't it be in the top five. You never
- 30:07Speaker 3: said that. You said Chris Bapple at five. That's a joke,
- 30:13Speaker 3: He interprets. Oh, Will wouldn't even put Chris Bapple in
- 30:17Speaker 3: his top five? What an idiot Will is? Whereas you
- 30:21Speaker 3: were going Chris Bapple's number one?
- 30:24Speaker 2: Dude, I'm texting him right now.
- 30:26Speaker 7: Go to a fashion CT call Chase Daniel say, buddy, listen,
- 30:35Speaker 7: did he text you happy birthday?
- 30:37Speaker 2: No? Happy birthdays?
- 30:43Speaker 3: This is this is friends coming together, This is relationship building, hopefully.
- 30:51Speaker 3: Chase answers, yeah, you have to. You know he's sweating
- 31:01Speaker 3: to looking at the phone because yeah, he's thinking Will's coming.
- 31:06Speaker 2: In has been forward into voicemail. The person you're trying
- 31:09Speaker 2: to reach is not available at the tone. Please record
- 31:12Speaker 2: your message. You may hang up nice. Chase, how we doing, brother?
- 31:17Speaker 2: This is Willie one show from for the Dads. We
- 31:20Speaker 2: were on the podcast. I just wanted to clear the
- 31:22Speaker 2: air a little bit. It seemed like you got confused
- 31:25Speaker 2: that I was saying Chris Apple's at number five.
- 31:27Speaker 1: Oh, it shouldn't be in the top five. I don't
- 31:29Speaker 1: even know.
- 31:29Speaker 2: What you said. I just want to be very clear.
- 31:32Speaker 2: Chris Apple is number one. Chris Apple is not a
- 31:36Speaker 2: backup to anybody, unlike yourself. Oh, Chris Apple, Will, is
- 31:40Speaker 2: that too much? You're rolling though? Keep going? It was
- 31:45Speaker 2: rolling if it felt good. It's still going. We're on
- 31:49Speaker 2: fourth the Dads. We just want to clear the air.
- 31:51Speaker 1: Chase.
- 31:52Speaker 2: We love you, We love you. Chris Apple is number one.
- 31:58Speaker 3: Chase, you are on the same team. I think that
- 32:00Speaker 3: you may have missed understood Will. Will misunderstood you and
- 32:04Speaker 3: your gun for the same rebound. And you know, I
- 32:08Speaker 3: think we can all come together and figure this out.
- 32:10Speaker 2: Chase. I think so too. I hope your voicemail works.
- 32:13Speaker 2: Kind of got jumped to the beep really quick. I
- 32:15Speaker 2: hope you check your voicemail. If so, I hope you're
- 32:18Speaker 2: enjoying hearing our voices.
- 32:20Speaker 1: Talk soon, go dragons, love you.
- 32:25Speaker 2: I love Chase Daniels.
- 32:26Speaker 1: I love a bunch of shit you give him from
- 32:28Speaker 1: being a backup. You have to send some somebody.
- 32:36Speaker 2: Dude, what loser? Oh dude, the Chase was a monster.
- 32:48Speaker 2: Bro oh a monster. You want to play college cakes
- 32:53Speaker 2: to be a highly paid backup fourteen years in the NFL?
- 32:57Speaker 2: He do you understand what it takes to be a
- 33:00Speaker 2: three time state champion at the five A level. Back
- 33:04Speaker 2: when he was doing it, that was, I know, the
- 33:07Speaker 2: biggest of the big bro. That was the didn't you
- 33:10Speaker 2: go see him?
- 33:11Speaker 3: I saw Matt Stafford and Jevin Snead go off against
- 33:15Speaker 3: each other. I may have actually, you know what I think.
- 33:20Speaker 3: I gotta confirm with my dad. Alito played in the
- 33:22Speaker 3: semi final at the Cowboys Stadium. In the game after
- 33:27Speaker 3: that was South Lake Carroll's semi final, and I believe
- 33:32Speaker 3: that was four.
- 33:34Speaker 1: Would he have Yeah, he may have been at Missoo.
- 33:38Speaker 1: I mean, we'll check that he was at Missoo from
- 33:43Speaker 1: five to eight.
- 33:44Speaker 3: I believe I think it was two thousand and three
- 33:47Speaker 3: or four that I saw South Lake Carroll play in
- 33:50Speaker 3: a semi final and murdered whoever they played That could
- 33:53Speaker 3: have been Chase. I did see Chase play against Colt
- 33:57Speaker 3: McCoy in Austin uh ice matchup.
- 34:00Speaker 2: Oh dude, because Colt another one who he spots, started
- 34:04Speaker 2: similar to Chase and had a long career. Yeah, and
- 34:06Speaker 2: he was a beast like I was with him in Washington.
- 34:08Speaker 3: Bro and Chase. Daniel went off in that game. Daniel
- 34:12Speaker 3: went off everywhere all the time. But Texas football missoo.
- 34:17Speaker 3: He was a monster.
- 34:19Speaker 2: And was he he was? Yeah? He was undrafted, was
- 34:23Speaker 2: he really? Yeah?
- 34:24Speaker 1: I believe Chase was undrafted.
- 34:25Speaker 2: Yeah, I believe Chase was undrafted, like he's an undrafted
- 34:28Speaker 2: grinder Bros. Fourteen year Yeah, yeah to the sense he
- 34:32Speaker 2: started there. Yeah, he was an Elite eleven guy with
- 34:38Speaker 2: I believe Nick.
- 34:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:40Speaker 2: Yeah. Maybe was Michael Vick in that elite eleven class
- 34:44Speaker 2: or was he was before? Way I think before I'm
- 34:47Speaker 2: so sorry, I.
- 34:48Speaker 3: Think in middle school, in middle school, Chase Daniel Mark
- 34:52Speaker 3: Sanchez was in his Elite eleven Mark Sanchez.
- 34:54Speaker 2: But he has Chris raffle so low with all these
- 34:56Speaker 2: accolades a guy, yeah, give it with somebody with the
- 35:01Speaker 2: Chase Daniel resume. That's a Chris b Apple guy through
- 35:05Speaker 2: and through.
- 35:06Speaker 1: He is, in my.
- 35:09Speaker 2: Opinion, Chris Bapple. He's in love right now with the
- 35:12Speaker 2: new flavors because I know, you know, uh do what Yeah,
- 35:17Speaker 2: recent by because he's got what raspberry sherbet number one, got.
- 35:20Speaker 1: Both Berry's and Shirley Temple in his number black berry vanilla. Yeah,
- 35:26Speaker 1: like he's eating.
- 35:27Speaker 2: He's in the honeymoon phase right now with Hollypop.
- 35:29Speaker 3: And if Will, if Will is quick to talk shit
- 35:31Speaker 3: on somebody, that's usually actually a really good sign. Oh yeah,
- 35:36Speaker 3: I know you really like somebody. Chase is when you
- 35:39Speaker 3: start doing jabs right off the bat, I'm like, Okay,
- 35:42Speaker 3: Will likes that guy a lot.
- 35:43Speaker 2: I love Chase. Chase was actually at the recruiting dinner
- 35:46Speaker 2: when I got did my official visit at Massoo when
- 35:50Speaker 2: Gary Pinkle was the head coach, and I'm doing you know,
- 35:53Speaker 2: they take you to like a dinner, it's me, man,
- 35:56Speaker 2: who is their tight end.
- 35:57Speaker 3: At the time, they went geos the wide receivers Hoffmann

- 36:44Speaker 3: Right there, he's saying he thinks that you think that
- 36:48Speaker 3: he shouldn't have it in the top five.

- 37:31Speaker 2: and recently, our son said his very first word, and
- 37:34Speaker 2: of course it was dad. Dad. To make it even better,
- 37:38Speaker 2: he decided to debut his new vocabulary on my birthday.
- 37:43Speaker 2: I'm just hoping mama is next. I wanted to wish

- 38:43Speaker 3: see this on the a PR next week.
- 38:45Speaker 2: We'll see this on the AP Oh, me have a
- 38:48Speaker 2: dad loss not going to Argentina?
- 38:54Speaker 1: We might have to start with that.
- 38:58Speaker 2: Have to start with that. So recently I was talking
- 39:04Speaker 2: about how we're going on a family vacation and we're
- 39:06Speaker 2: going to Italy and Argentina. A chef or somebody said
- 39:11Speaker 2: what Buenos Aires? Yeah, And I was like, yeah, yeah, whatever.
- 39:15Speaker 2: I didn't even know what you're saying at the time.
- 39:17Speaker 2: Yeah whatever. Come to find out the next day, my
- 39:22Speaker 2: wife shoots me a text as she listens to for
- 39:25Speaker 2: the dads. She's probably listening to it right now to sweetheart,
- 39:31Speaker 2: we're not going to Argentina. What are you talking about?
- 39:34Speaker 2: Oh you're not. Where are you going? Will Austria? Do
- 39:41Speaker 2: you know where Austria is? By Italy? Right?
- 39:43Speaker 3: Hey it's a lot closer, a lot closer than Argentina. Yeah, absolutely,
- 39:48Speaker 3: I really.
- 39:48Speaker 1: I didn't know Argentina is in South America.
- 39:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 39:52Speaker 10: Ye.
- 39:52Speaker 1: It was a tough look on your face. When he
- 39:54Speaker 1: came over and asked where Argentina was.
- 39:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I was like, hey, Derek, my wife's texted me
- 39:58Speaker 2: right now. What was she saying? Do you know where
- 40:02Speaker 2: Argentina is?
- 40:03Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 40:03Speaker 2: It's South America? Buddy? I fucked um.
- 40:07Speaker 5: When you originally said it, I said, wow, they're going
- 40:10Speaker 5: all the way from Italy to like South America.
- 40:12Speaker 2: That is will. I know you've hit it big time,
- 40:15Speaker 2: but god damn. I know you guys really try to
- 40:18Speaker 2: grind out traveling with your kids, but.
- 40:20Speaker 1: I just automatically assumed that was two separate vacations. Is
- 40:24Speaker 1: where my head.
- 40:24Speaker 7: When you told the story about the only vacation you've
- 40:27Speaker 7: ever heard of in Argentina, which was your dad.
- 40:30Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, we talked about We talked about that in
- 40:33Speaker 3: the office because I was like, I know, Argentina is
- 40:37Speaker 3: really pretty. My dad and a bunch of his buddies
- 40:40Speaker 3: went down there for a dove hunt, and like that's when.
- 40:44Speaker 2: You said that, I want to say, my brain started
- 40:46Speaker 2: to just turn off. I'm thinking a dove on's he
- 40:48Speaker 2: talking down there? Like it's because they're like rats to
- 40:53Speaker 2: the Argentinians, like they truly like, oh, they pretty much
- 40:56Speaker 2: pay you to come down there and kill all these
- 40:59Speaker 2: doves because there's so many of them. Scotty go loose
- 41:01Speaker 2: on a couple of douves. H To myself, I'm like,
- 41:05Speaker 2: what not that there's nothing to do there? It's a
- 41:08Speaker 2: beautiful country. But I was like, man, I don't hear
- 41:11Speaker 2: of a lot of people go in Argentina. But Charo
- 41:13Speaker 2: is very adventurous. That's what my mind told me. It's
- 41:16Speaker 2: like Charles, very adventurous. She's probably playing out this great
- 41:18Speaker 2: trip Argentina. Yeah.
- 41:21Speaker 3: To Austria and the fact you don't even mix up
- 41:25Speaker 3: Austria with Australia.
- 41:26Speaker 1: Well, I did ask her if they have like similar accents?
- 41:30Speaker 2: What question?
- 41:31Speaker 5: Austria is a sound of music? Musical reference? You ever
- 41:35Speaker 5: seen sound of music? No, buddy, what the sound of music?
- 41:40Speaker 2: The sound of music? Yeah, the sound of music. Yes,
- 41:48Speaker 2: it's a class.
- 41:50Speaker 4: Scotti.
- 41:51Speaker 1: Will did you ask if Austria and Australia have the
- 41:53Speaker 1: same accent?
- 41:54Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 41:54Speaker 3: Okay, So dear a female deer ray drop a golden sun.
- 42:01Speaker 2: Get to your dad loss.
- 42:03Speaker 3: So my dad, boss is that my bloody Will Compton
- 42:07Speaker 3: has never seen sound of music.
- 42:08Speaker 1: We'll watch that together.
- 42:10Speaker 2: I'm not a musical guy. Oh you'll love sound of music. Dude.
- 42:13Speaker 2: This a bunch of hot nuns.
- 42:14Speaker 1: Nazis.
- 42:15Speaker 3: Dude, they the Nazis ass, it's cool. Hot nines and
- 42:19Speaker 3: kick and Nazis ass it's cool. Okay, I digress. My
- 42:24Speaker 3: dad loss. So my beautiful, precious darling wife Jill Young
- 42:29Speaker 3: told me Labor Day weekend is open. I said, oh, well,
- 42:33Speaker 3: good thing, because the Baylor Bears kick off their season
- 42:36Speaker 3: against those Auburn, those pesky Auburn Tigers at Mercedes Benz
- 42:41Speaker 3: Stadium in Atlanta. Honey, that's drivable distance for us born
- 42:45Speaker 3: a half hour drive. That's no brainer. Hotel room. Most
- 42:51Speaker 3: expensive tickets I've ever bought because I could afford it.
- 42:55Speaker 2: I'm in a different part of my life where I'm like,
- 42:57Speaker 2: I don't have.
- 42:58Speaker 3: To get nosebleeds. Let's spend a little extra. This is
- 43:01Speaker 3: probably gonna be the only Baylor game I get to
- 43:02Speaker 3: go to.
- 43:03Speaker 1: Yeah, man, splurge a little bit.
- 43:04Speaker 2: I splurged. I got some like forty yarders lower Bowl.
- 43:08Speaker 1: No, Yeah, let's go.
- 43:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 43:11Speaker 1: I'm sitting there going bro.
- 43:14Speaker 2: I cannot wait to see Dj Lagway debut that we're
- 43:19Speaker 2: gonna have the white jerseys. I just know it, Dude,
- 43:21Speaker 2: they're they're holding the chromes. They're holding the chromes back.
- 43:24Speaker 2: They're not telling us about the chromes, but I can
- 43:26Speaker 2: feel it in my bones. They're gonna wear the all
- 43:28Speaker 2: whites with the chromis. And you can see Alburn Tigers
- 43:33Speaker 2: get CEC like the way that they this conference talks
- 43:36Speaker 2: shit about y'all.
- 43:38Speaker 3: Bro We like the big Twalve needs is so bad
- 43:41Speaker 3: and Baylor can really come out here. DJ can flip
- 43:45Speaker 3: the script and show the se speaking of the SEC
- 43:48Speaker 3: showed these Florida Gators. They are like, good luck with Lagway. Yeah,
- 43:52Speaker 3: good luck with Lagway. He's gonna kick ass dude, Florida.
- 43:55Speaker 3: That y'all got your own little problems. DJ is not
- 43:57Speaker 3: the problem. This has been my brain for months that
- 44:01Speaker 3: my beautiful wife said, we are going to this game,
- 44:03Speaker 3: and now you're at the forty yard line and uh
- 44:08Speaker 3: Jilly Bean updated me, No, we uh were not going
- 44:14Speaker 3: to Atlanta.
- 44:15Speaker 1: We're going to uh San Diego for a birthday.
- 44:18Speaker 3: Party that I'm really excited about. And so I will
- 44:29Speaker 3: be selling my tickets and canceling my hotel reservation, so.
- 44:33Speaker 1: You have the tickets forty yard line.
- 44:35Speaker 2: Yeah, she knew, like you guys were going to Atlanta, right,
- 44:41Speaker 2: but we'll we went to a football game last year,
- 44:44Speaker 2: so we don't need to go to a football game
- 44:46Speaker 2: this year. Did you say, honey, that was that was
- 44:49Speaker 2: a twenty twenty five season. I did.
- 44:53Speaker 3: I did say that, But it doesn't matter because we
- 44:55Speaker 3: went to a football game last year, so we don't
- 44:57Speaker 3: need to go to a football game this year.
- 44:59Speaker 2: So even next year, it's gonna be we went to
- 45:00Speaker 2: a game two years ago.
- 45:02Speaker 3: No, I think, hope, hopefully, hopefully reset because last year
- 45:07Speaker 3: we didn't go to a football game, so this year
- 45:09Speaker 3: we get to go.
- 45:09Speaker 2: To this year. I'm assuming this is her friend family,
- 45:13Speaker 2: her family, which I do love them very much.
- 45:15Speaker 1: This is a bit, but I am I'm I'm excited.
- 45:19Speaker 2: I'm excited, but I'm gonna go back to These are
- 45:21Speaker 2: the bit man, Yeah, these are the moments you play
- 45:23Speaker 2: yourself when you get off the podcast. It's a family
- 45:26Speaker 2: going to the wrong way, Janie, if you're fun with
- 45:29Speaker 2: the boys on the show, If you're listening, Janie, I
- 45:31Speaker 2: am very excited to go to San Diego and I
- 45:33Speaker 2: love San Diego and I cannot wait to celebrate you
- 45:36Speaker 2: and Ayden and Josh. However, we got to the bit,
- 45:39Speaker 2: but however, we got a show to do some people,
- 45:45Speaker 2: but also that sucks.
- 45:47Speaker 3: Oh it's fabulous, It's fabulous. So much fun, dude, so
- 45:57Speaker 3: much fun, dude. I've been listening. I've been listening to
- 46:00Speaker 3: Outcast non stop to.
- 46:03Speaker 1: Get me in the.
- 46:05Speaker 2: Bro I'm telling you though, the amount of times I've
- 46:11Speaker 2: listened to bombs over Baghdad, the amount of times I've
- 46:14Speaker 2: listened to Rosa Parks Mana.
- 46:24Speaker 1: I wanted to bump that the whole road trip.
- 46:26Speaker 2: Dude.
- 46:26Speaker 3: I was like, Scarlett's gonna be in her little Baylor bow,
- 46:30Speaker 3: in her little cheerleader uniform, and we're gonna be sitting
- 46:33Speaker 3: there watching Lagway literally dropping bombs over Baghdad. Like I've
- 46:37Speaker 3: been daydreaming about this. But I get to watch the
- 46:41Speaker 3: game in California, which I'm really excited about with it's.
- 46:45Speaker 2: A night game.
- 46:46Speaker 1: It is a night game.
- 46:47Speaker 2: The positive you'll be watching it at probably around four PM.
- 46:51Speaker 3: That is because it's West Coast. Yeah, dude, it may
- 46:55Speaker 3: even be like two PM or won't be bleeding into
- 46:58Speaker 3: you know, if you're gonna rip bedtime or something. Willie
- 47:02Speaker 3: see it's yeah in San Diego. I haven't I haven't
- 47:07Speaker 3: been to San Diego. I went to the Holiday Bowl
- 47:09Speaker 3: a couple times. Oh, this is when I was young.
- 47:11Speaker 3: There's like eighteen nineteen, I.
- 47:12Speaker 2: Love saying, and we were there for playing football. So
- 47:14Speaker 2: you're not like enjoying San Diego. But everybody it's sounds
- 47:17Speaker 2: like it's arguably the best city in the in the country. Brother,
- 47:20Speaker 2: it's up there. I went to come to weather Vibes,
- 47:24Speaker 2: things to do, yep, the beauty.
- 47:27Speaker 3: If it is hard pressed, If you can't find a
- 47:29Speaker 3: good time in San Diego, dude, it's a you problem.
- 47:32Speaker 3: That's what I would tell somebody with Alburn Baylor's this
- 47:35Speaker 3: week one.
- 47:36Speaker 2: Yeah, bro, And it's like I am trying to find
- 47:39Speaker 2: the upside. But also face painted opener, season opener with
- 47:46Speaker 2: debut of people. There's so much chatter about Ronda got extended.
- 47:52Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 47:54Speaker 2: DJ Lagway comes over from Floridah.
- 47:57Speaker 1: They're kind of under the radar. What's this game gonna be.
- 47:59Speaker 3: The black sheep of the Big twelve? It is as
- 48:01Speaker 3: Tone Center and I get to be there. Oh dude,
- 48:05Speaker 3: the amount of videos I would have done from the crowd,
- 48:07Speaker 3: I would have been going ballistic. I asked for PTO
- 48:11Speaker 3: three months ago. So when Jill comes and tells you
- 48:14Speaker 3: that she told me about the birthday first. Now, will
- 48:18Speaker 3: do you think in my right mind if my wife said, oh,
- 48:21Speaker 3: don't forget, we're going to San Diego for the birthday?
- 48:24Speaker 3: Do you think in my right mind I would go
- 48:26Speaker 3: buy some pretty expensive tickets for a football game.
- 48:32Speaker 2: Absolutely not.
- 48:34Speaker 1: Why would I do that?
- 48:37Speaker 2: Is that how she told you about Labor Day weekend?
- 48:40Speaker 2: The birthday? Like, Hey, don't forget, We're going to San
- 48:42Speaker 2: Diego Labor Day weekend. After I bought the tickets. And
- 48:46Speaker 2: that's my truth. That's my truth. But it wasn't hey,
- 48:49Speaker 2: I know we're going to the game. Oh we have
- 48:53Speaker 2: family out in San Diego. They're having the birthday party
- 48:56Speaker 2: this weekend.
- 48:56Speaker 4: I know.
- 48:56Speaker 1: It was not that was what can we pivot course
- 48:59Speaker 1: and go out to San Diego?
- 49:00Speaker 8: Oh?
- 49:01Speaker 2: Oh? Like once everything came to a head, I want
- 49:04Speaker 2: you had to go to sell the ticket, Like when
- 49:06Speaker 2: she came to you and was like.
- 49:07Speaker 3: I had to challenge it. I pulled the challenge flag.
- 49:11Speaker 3: I said, whoa, Now, Labor Day weekend.
- 49:13Speaker 2: Here's what I'm asking, time out, time out, Here's what
- 49:15Speaker 2: I'm asking. Did she hit you with, hey, reminder, we're
- 49:18Speaker 2: going to San Diego Labor Day weekend or was it
- 49:21Speaker 2: did she come with like, hey, I know we have
- 49:24Speaker 2: this book first one ooh. I went.
- 49:34Speaker 3: And then Jill and I hashed it out. We hashed
- 49:38Speaker 3: it out.
- 49:38Speaker 2: That's when you throw the flag, you walk over and
- 49:40Speaker 2: pick it up and throw it again.
- 49:42Speaker 3: I was, I was heated just on her shoes. I
- 49:46Speaker 3: wanted to let's just say Jill said these words. I
- 49:50Speaker 3: want you to think about the way you're talking me
- 49:54Speaker 3: to me right now, because I think you might want
- 49:57Speaker 3: to re examine that.
- 50:03Speaker 1: Baylor, I love you.
- 50:04Speaker 3: I was fighting was I was a hurt animal in
- 50:08Speaker 3: a cage in this corner, fighting, and we're going to
- 50:12Speaker 3: San Diego.
- 50:14Speaker 1: I'll be tweeting about to go to my Twitter and
- 50:16Speaker 1: just look up blah blah blah, das Landa, We're going
- 50:18Speaker 1: to Lantah.
- 50:19Speaker 2: Blah blah blah.
- 50:19Speaker 3: I've been putting Dave Randa's head in DJ Lagway's head
- 50:23Speaker 3: on that Outcast album, posting it like crazy.
- 50:27Speaker 2: A t l A in t A damn.
- 50:32Speaker 7: Yeah, you guys didn't go to a birthday party last.
- 50:36Speaker 2: Year, so she has.

- 50:44Speaker 2: For this guy.
- 50:45Speaker 1: I would just love it Seeke had no sure on.
- 50:50Speaker 3: It was in the corner of my living room as
- 50:53Speaker 3: Jill and I are in the kitchen hashing this out
- 50:54Speaker 3: for a solid thirty and then just the biggest swing
- 50:58Speaker 3: from a ollipop for a shreerlest it turns down the TV.
- 51:02Speaker 3: Wait then you I'll go to a birthday last year
- 51:05Speaker 3: that would cancel out right right, sir, Then you can

- 51:22Speaker 1: I feel like she did, Like I went.
- 51:25Speaker 10: And you're making it sound like she's You're making it
- 51:28Speaker 10: sound to me like she's just talking to you, like
- 51:30Speaker 10: she's just reminding you guys are going to San Diego,
- 51:33Speaker 10: like all of your excitement like three months ago PTO
- 51:37Speaker 10: were booked for Atlanta, like it just never happened in
- 51:40Speaker 10: her brain, and she's just hitting you with, hey, reminder,
- 51:43Speaker 10: And you tried trying to throw.
- 51:45Speaker 2: The challenge flag and she hey, she points the finger
- 51:48Speaker 2: at you. It kind of it does feel like I
- 51:52Speaker 2: was a freshman and I asked the senior cheer captain
- 51:55Speaker 2: to homecoming and she said no. And now I'm like
- 51:58Speaker 2: back in my house, going wait, how could she have
- 52:01Speaker 2: said no?
- 52:02Speaker 3: She had said yes so many times in my head,
- 52:05Speaker 3: like I was going to homecoming with her what happened here?
- 52:09Speaker 3: But I also feel like I would not have bought
- 52:12Speaker 3: those tickets if I had known that that day was
- 52:15Speaker 3: not open, because I pitches are really good couple friends.
- 52:18Speaker 3: Daniel and brought and live in Atlanta, and it was
- 52:21Speaker 3: gonna be a whole thing.

- 52:24Speaker 2: shout out in it.
- 52:27Speaker 3: That's from Atlanta. I bet he's probably doing a tailgate.
- 52:30Speaker 1: Hit him up.
- 52:30Speaker 3: He's like, dude, I am doing a tailgate. My family's
- 52:33Speaker 3: doing a tailgate. I tell Jill, yo, my boy Bennett's

- 52:38Speaker 2: Honey, And she's like, oh my gosh, yeah, da da da.
- 52:42Speaker 2: In my head that's what was going on. Yeah, how
- 52:46Speaker 2: did it end? Did it end with you doing yard work?
- 52:50Speaker 4: Yes?

- 53:04Speaker 3: great function on its website where I could put these
- 53:07Speaker 3: guys up for sale.
- 53:10Speaker 2: Man, I can't wait and I can't wait to go
- 53:14Speaker 2: to San Diego.
- 53:15Speaker 3: And guess what that money that we get from the
- 53:17Speaker 3: tickets where I sell it? Well, I spending san Diego.
- 53:20Speaker 3: I have a little time. We got a little fund money.
- 53:23Speaker 3: Huh yay?
- 53:27Speaker 2: What do will for? Say? Saintstiago?
- 53:30Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 53:30Speaker 2: Wales, Vagina, Yeah, whales like walking upstairs a whales Vagina.
- 53:34Speaker 2: Jill's just standing in. What is he talking about?
- 53:38Speaker 3: He does this podcast and they I think he has
- 53:41Speaker 3: secondhand CTE. I'm very sorry camera moves.
- 53:44Speaker 2: It's just Scarlet she's talking to I know, I know
- 53:54Speaker 2: he's messed up. He's messed up. Honey. Do you will
- 53:58Speaker 2: see on the on the on the on the flips.
- 54:00Speaker 2: We got Scotty a baby doll.
- 54:03Speaker 1: Tell me about Scotty's baby doll.
- 54:06Speaker 2: So Rue had it's Rue does like her uh in
- 54:10Speaker 2: her monastery school. It's like called baby work where they
- 54:12Speaker 2: try to like, you know, change the diaper, put the
- 54:15Speaker 2: clothes on, all that stuff. So Ru's had this baby
- 54:17Speaker 2: doll like this like form of a baby. Wait, wait,
- 54:20Speaker 2: that's really sick. Yeah, so she knows how to like
- 54:24Speaker 2: change Scotty's piper if. Yeah, she she knows the process. Yeah,
- 54:30Speaker 2: we couldn't give Rue a like a high chair a
- 54:33Speaker 2: step stool to stand on and change Scotty's diaper. Yeah yeah,
- 54:36Speaker 2: but she understands the full process and she like works
- 54:39Speaker 2: at it at Montsory. It was one of her when
- 54:41Speaker 2: we did the breakdown at the end of the year.
- 54:42Speaker 2: It was one of her favorite things to do, like
- 54:44Speaker 2: on her list the favorite thing she did at school
- 54:47Speaker 2: really baby work. But ru'se always had this this baby
- 54:52Speaker 2: doll at home, you know itself with a high chair,
- 54:54Speaker 2: a little crib, like the the the maternal mentality. I
- 54:59Speaker 2: guess her wanting to care for a baby as well.
- 55:02Speaker 3: That's the one that she was handing to me when
- 55:03Speaker 3: we watched Nebraska USC Yeah, and she was handing me
- 55:07Speaker 3: on the strollers.
- 55:08Speaker 2: Yes, yes, dude. So that was back when she was
- 55:11Speaker 2: like two years old, right, So she was like in
- 55:14Speaker 2: this phase around two years old, have won this baby doll.
- 55:17Speaker 2: And now that Scotty is eighteen nineteen months, Scotty's been
- 55:20Speaker 2: fascinated with Rue's baby doll because Rue hasn't played played
- 55:24Speaker 2: with it like for for a while, like she'll show
- 55:27Speaker 2: us the changing and stuff that she would do at
- 55:30Speaker 2: school with the baby, but as far as like carrying
- 55:32Speaker 2: it around, wanting it to be like part of her world,
- 55:34Speaker 2: her everyday life, the same way Tiger is. It hasn't
- 55:37Speaker 2: been that way with the baby doll. Yeah, Scotti has
- 55:40Speaker 2: now taken a massive liking to the baby doll. So
- 55:45Speaker 2: when there was only one baby, you can assume that
- 55:48Speaker 2: chaos that ensues. They're both wanting the baby. Because now
- 55:51Speaker 2: all of a sudden rue the four year old she
- 55:54Speaker 2: now wants the baby, so she'll go and like take
- 55:56Speaker 2: the baby from Scotty. Scotty will get upset, go over,
- 55:59Speaker 2: like start hitting her. You're trying to break them up.
- 56:01Speaker 2: You're holding Scottie backers like I want to play with
- 56:03Speaker 2: the baby, like Scotty was playing with the baby first.
- 56:05Speaker 2: You're trying to teach him to share all the things
- 56:08Speaker 2: you go through when you got a couple of little ones.
- 56:09Speaker 1: Oh yeah, so yesterday.
- 56:12Speaker 2: My wife takes Scotty to go get her own baby doll,
- 56:15Speaker 2: and I'll send the picture to the chef so can
- 56:18Speaker 2: it can chime up because now she's Scotty's in the
- 56:20Speaker 2: motor where you tell her cheese and she like does
- 56:22Speaker 2: this big lean and big smile cheese.
- 56:25Speaker 1: She says, chee.
- 56:26Speaker 2: But she's like holding the baby doll and it's absolutely adorable.
- 56:30Speaker 2: So now Scotty has her own baby doll. So yesterday
- 56:33Speaker 2: was day one. Yesterday when I get home and we're
- 56:36Speaker 2: playing up in the playroom and doing a lot of
- 56:38Speaker 2: different things. They're both operating with their babies, like together, yeah,
- 56:42Speaker 2: setting them next to each other, putting blankeys over them. Oh,
- 56:45Speaker 2: Ru's like, let's go put them down for a nap.
- 56:46Speaker 2: They go and put baby down for what Scotty like
- 56:50Speaker 2: loves this baby. That's so fascinating. Yeah, this morning, wake up,
- 56:55Speaker 2: gotta get baby. Yeah. Baby. They set them on the
- 56:57Speaker 2: couch next to each other. They want they want him
- 57:00Speaker 2: sitting there, like while they're eating Oh oh yakay and Scotty,
- 57:04Speaker 2: I'd like tell Scotty, I'm like cold, Scotty, Scotty's holding baby.
- 57:07Speaker 2: I'm holding Scotty and I'm going down the stairs and
- 57:09Speaker 2: I'm like, you know, you got to give baby a
- 57:10Speaker 2: lots of hugs and kisses, the same way we give
- 57:12Speaker 2: our babies lots hugs and kisses and she'll just be
- 57:14Speaker 2: like loving and y giving them kisses. Doesn't want to
- 57:19Speaker 2: operate at dinner without like she wants to go see
- 57:21Speaker 2: where baby is. We're like, hey, baby's taking a nap.
- 57:23Speaker 2: Baby's taking a nap. But she needed to get out.
- 57:26Speaker 2: You saw it, brunch. It's a busy body. She can't
- 57:28Speaker 2: sit in the chair and eat food. She's got to
- 57:30Speaker 2: be out walking around. You got to feed her like
- 57:31Speaker 2: a dog coming by your chair. Please hold out a
- 57:34Speaker 2: piece of meat and segue into brunch once we're done.
- 57:37Speaker 1: Talking about Yeah, that's ay. On the upside, that's uh.
- 57:41Speaker 2: Krack and Coal want also brunch with you, but a
- 57:43Speaker 2: crack of Cole want to seeing Scotty operate with her
- 57:45Speaker 2: own baby. Now now that we can, they don't have
- 57:47Speaker 2: to fight and argue over who's turn it is to
- 57:49Speaker 2: play with baby. And I'm like, rue, you weren't even
- 57:51Speaker 2: into baby until Scotty got into baby. Yeah, like you
- 57:55Speaker 2: took a lot of time off. I know this is
- 57:56Speaker 2: your baby technically, but Scotty's playing with the Look how
- 58:00Speaker 2: happy she is, Like let her opera. You got so
- 58:02Speaker 2: many toys you were just drawing, go back to drawing.
- 58:05Speaker 3: Yeah, dude, that is funny because kids really do regress
- 58:11Speaker 3: back into old stuff when like younger sibling, when.
- 58:15Speaker 1: The younger superman super into something.
- 58:17Speaker 2: And we will be like, Okay, Scotty Roue wants to
- 58:20Speaker 2: play with with baby right now, Let's let rou play
- 58:22Speaker 2: a little bit. You've been playing with baby for a while. Yeah,
- 58:24Speaker 2: and Rue and I'm like, okay, you get to play
- 58:25Speaker 2: with baby and Rule just like sit there and hold it.
- 58:27Speaker 2: I'm like, you're not even You're just doing this to
- 58:30Speaker 2: not give it to Scotti. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's a
- 58:33Speaker 2: whole deal, dude.
- 58:34Speaker 3: Also, I got a first hand look at Scottie. It
- 58:40Speaker 3: was very brief and not like she didn't really catch
- 58:43Speaker 3: her that bad at all. But Scotty gave a little
- 58:46Speaker 3: hit to Rue, not hard at all at brunch.
- 58:50Speaker 1: Yeah, a little child's play one very much so.
- 58:53Speaker 3: And you were like, Scotti, we do not hit, and Scotty,
- 58:57Speaker 3: you know, sitting guilty, like look at you. But what
- 59:00Speaker 3: rud did fascinated me because it made me side with
- 59:05Speaker 3: rough instantly.
- 59:06Speaker 1: She did such a good job of not.
- 59:08Speaker 3: Striking back that you can tell she is so well coached.
- 59:12Speaker 3: She almost locked her arms to the side and she
- 59:15Speaker 3: went like this and then and then went like this,
- 59:20Speaker 3: and they went like this and looked up at me,
- 59:24Speaker 3: and now I'm sitting there.
- 59:25Speaker 1: I wanted to.
- 59:26Speaker 3: Melt for what to pick her up? I was like,
- 59:30Speaker 3: how in the world do you ever punished roue ever?
- 59:33Speaker 3: She's gaming you, you gotta know. Yeah, that's a strategy.
- 59:37Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
- 59:38Speaker 3: And then right after that, suremi uncle, Shermy is what
- 59:43Speaker 3: she's called me.
- 59:43Speaker 2: Now, Shermy, I can I sit.
- 59:47Speaker 1: Close to you and away from Scottie?
- 59:50Speaker 3: Yeah, she just hit you, like, get over.
- 59:55Speaker 2: Here, kiddo. That was a light one though. That's when
- 59:57Speaker 2: Ruth shouldn't be whinding over like an emotional She can be. Yeah,
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: she's a whiner. She can whine a little bit, you
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: know the ones that are really like I've seen Scotty
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: drop down while Ruth's laying on her back and Scotty's
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: standing over, drop down and dropped my hammer fist to
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: where I'm like, yeah, that's a really sweetheart, like you know,
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: you're consoling her and everything else. Scotty's really dropping him
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: like our kaos. Yes, yeah, bro, and I'm back. Watch out.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: She's walking and she's walking around the living room like it.
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: She dropped Scott's allowed he's like, Scotty, no, we don't
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: in I'll start walking toward Scotty and she'll just start
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: you're running away from me. But on the light ones,
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: the ones that I know, like I'll witness and I see,
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: I'm like, hey, that wasn't that was light. I need you.
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: Because Rue does a great job of not reacting like
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: spawning and hitting her back or anything like that. She
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: will put her hands down, like to the side, knowing
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: that the emotion she's trying to vocalize is she wants
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: to do something or she's up upset and frustrated and
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: wants it to be fixed. I need her to stay
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: poised in the light hit moments. Yeah, then just tell
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: her Scotty, we don't hit. Yeah, we don't hit, And
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: then get coordinated enough where he can you know you're blocking,
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: grabbing a little bit and being gentle and soft. Yeah,
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: because Scottio, I'll be cuddling on the couch with Rue.
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: Scotty will notice it's Scotty'll waddle over and I can
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: just see it in her eyes. It's the watch out,
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: watch out, watch out. She's coming over to swing and
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: I'll just put my hand up. She just she'll like,
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: throw her her wrist right here in my hand and
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: I'll grab it. Scotty, we don't hit. She'll try it
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: a couple more times, Scotty, we don't hit. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: and then she keeps trying. I'll start to maneuvering it
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: up and she'll run away. Bro.
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: When she started giving high vibes to everyone in the restaurant, yeah,
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: that was really at first. Chef did a very good
- 1:01:54Speaker 3: job of reminding me of Mike crack a cold one.
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: But my crack a cold one was her going around
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: giving high fives.
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: Were brunch on Sunday. On Sunday, we met up in
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: brent Wood, went to Krema. Shoutout criminal free, shout outs.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: Yeah, shout out crimea. That was a great breakfast period.
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: And it was gonna be a father daughter because Charlie
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: was working. You were gonna get up and operate with
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: the kids, like Jill sleep in and we're gonna meet up,
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: get some coffee, just be a couple of dads hanging
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: out with the kiddos. A lot of families were there,
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: a lot of dads were there with their kids, a
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: lot of solo dads. Solo dads operate with the kiddos
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: and we get there. Ru is fired up to see Scarlet,
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: fired up to see Scarlet, and because we had a
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: fun time at the zoo. We had a great time
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: at the zoo, and I know showed with Scarlet.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: Shiran walks in and it was just shirm.
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: And I don't think it truly hit me, like driving there,
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: because I didn't even text Will. Because as I'm walking
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: out of the house, Jill is like, we just moved
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: out of our old house, which we live very south
- 1:02:58Speaker 3: of where I was meeting Will. So it made sense
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: to front brunch, go directly to old house and put
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: the finishing touches, put like cocking in the walls, get
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: the deer heads off, clean the rugs off. You gotta
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: hang photos or paintings back home. You got a mo
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: of the yard, got a mo of the yard. Rue's
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: rattling off your entire list to Charle when we got home.
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: No, no, yes, she said, hang up the deer heads.
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: But I'm thinking deer heads. Where'd you get deer heads?
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: But bro Rugory, she was ripping, rattling off your entire
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: list to char We know she didn't what a cutie.
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: I only told her about the deer heads once and
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: Rue has a great way of asking you to talk
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: about yourself instead of like, Hey, what's going on Derek,
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: or Derek, what you got going on today?
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: Something like that.
- 1:03:45Speaker 3: She would say, Derek, can you tell me a story
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: about what you're doing today?
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: That's exactly what she did.
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: Can you tell me a story about you and Jill
- 1:03:58Speaker 3: and what you have to do today.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, that's not off the top, though.
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: Sharam comes in and sits down, because when Shirm walks
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: in the door, Ru like looks up at me, is like,
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: or a scar scar? I was like, oh, And then
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: Sherm and I we kind of embraced each other hug
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: and I'm like, dude, whe's scarlet? He's like, he tells me.
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: The whole thing goes to this by room. Like Rou
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: is so fired up. We had the fed, we had
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: the high seat sitting there for a scarscar, and Shuram
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: sits down and starts talking about why he didn't bring scarscar.
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: And Rou was enthralled by Shuram's storytelling. And so when
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: Shrm kind of stops and ordering food and everything else,
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: that's when Rooth kicks and can you tell me a story. No, no, no, sure,
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: let me tell you something. Let me tell you something. Sure,
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: suremy yeah sheremy, you tell me a story about the
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: rest of your day. And I'm smiling, like, can you
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: tell me a story of what you have to do
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: when you get home? Yeah? Tell me a story about
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: your house. Yeah.
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: I'm like, all right, I'll tell you a story about
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: my house. I just put a bunch of baby gates up.
- 1:04:59Speaker 3: Just go into the baby gates. And she's looking at
- 1:05:01Speaker 3: me like I'm making up some like beautiful princess dragon story.
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: Now I'm talking about putting up Walmart baby gates. And
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: I'm like, and these baby gates they're kind of tough
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: for they kind of they'll poke you back.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: Did she have any questions about the animal heads, because
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: I like, I don't know if she I don't think
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: you hunt. Was it weird to her that you were
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: hanging animal heads up? Or is she aware of I
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: was hunted.
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: And I have some, but she hasn't seen, Like they're
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: not up in my house. There's one I want to say. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: she seemed aware of what a deerhead was.
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: I was just curious if she had any funny I
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: don't know if she does. Bro.
- 1:05:34Speaker 3: It was really kind of fascinating that she remembered deer
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: heads because I only said that once at the very top,
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: and I'm thinking that's like a little traumatizing if she's
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: not aware of why so that's why she remembers what
- 1:05:45Speaker 3: I'm thinking.
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: I wasn't thinking he's got to hang the deer heads.
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: I'm just curious. Yeah, yeah, that would make sense. Because
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: Charli looked at me, She's like, deer heads. I was like,
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: I have no I don't even remember. Sure, I'm saying, deerhead.
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: Pulled Rue off to the side, and when you kill him,
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: you gotta get him. You gotta get a how you
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: clean them?
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: You ever heard of at Daxa Dermy, They well, here's
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: the thing. When Waffle goes Uncle Shermy's gonna get a
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: Daxa Dermy. You go up there, you grip this sack,
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: you cut it off. You gotta have you gotta have
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: Waffle forever. She's gonna We can put it whatever opposed
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: you want. You gotta love it. Rue.
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: She would have loved that. She would have loved that.
- 1:06:32Speaker 3: My krackical one or do we have more about brunch.
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: No, the Scottie high five's like, oh, Scottie high fives, dude.
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: Scotty went around high fiving everyone in the restaurant in
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: a controlled vicinity. Though she wasn't like running off like
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: clear across the restaurant going up to people. She's just
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: going up to like the three tables, they're like most
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: near to us, and she's literally she does kind of
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: have wwe energy because she's like walking up to that
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: one dad with his son and just she literally pointed
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: at him like this and then went. She literally was
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: like you you and the dad looks, he's like hi,
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: and he goes.
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: She goes and then just puts her hand out like
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: high five, and he gives her a high five, and
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: then he she starts to the little boy right here,
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: give it to me, walks up to the other table
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: with people points at him, points at him.
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: They finally steer her. She hey're like, Scottie, Scotty, scott
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: come over here, give dad out a high five. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: give uncle shermy a high fives. Witnessing in real time
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: how Scottie operates at meal time. Just gotta be boots
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: on the ground, boots off and Remember she starts screaming,
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: she starts yelling. She she yelled so like an excited yell. Yeah,
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: it's not scream either, it's a yell. And then when
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: she gets a couple of smiles and laughs, she'll can
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: continued to scream and yell this excited, this excited yell
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: that she does.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: It's very It's like a It's like that.
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: Because I was walking over, like Scottie got inside Boys, and.
- 1:08:16Speaker 3: She's just smiling through her passy as you're telling her
- 1:08:19Speaker 3: inside Boys. She's like, I know what I'm doing, Dad,
- 1:08:22Speaker 3: Like I'm getting the people go into here.
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: They love it.
- 1:08:26Speaker 3: She gave me like four high vibes in a row,
- 1:08:30Speaker 3: and Rue was telling me that I needed to say
- 1:08:32Speaker 3: that it hurt.
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: I don't know if that.
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: That's what uncle Taylor does. Oh okay, okay, Taylor will
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: do high fives. And every time Rue gives five, Taylor,
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: oh my gosh, I heard, you're so strong, do it again,
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: and she just keep going harder to where Taylor pretends
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: it hurts every time.
- 1:08:45Speaker 3: God it God, it got it because she was telling
- 1:08:47Speaker 3: me to do that, like very seriously. It was like,
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: you need next time Scotty gives you a high five.
- 1:08:52Speaker 3: You need to say it hurts. I'm like, okay, go
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: high five, Scotty, and she did, oh wow wow.
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: She was like that was good. That was way better.
- 1:09:01Speaker 3: Now you're doing an uncle Shermy. It's like, okay, kracker
- 1:09:06Speaker 3: cole My, kracker cole one. Is that we took Scarlet
- 1:09:09Speaker 3: swimming for the first time. We have a community pool
- 1:09:11Speaker 3: in our neighborhood.
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: How great is that community have in the community pool?
- 1:09:15Speaker 3: It's sick, dude, And it's one of those that's like
- 1:09:17Speaker 3: policed the perfect amount, Like there's not like attendance out
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: there or like a fool on lifeguard team where it's
- 1:09:25Speaker 3: like a little bit too structured where it feels like eh,
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: but you have to have a key, you have to
- 1:09:31Speaker 3: have like parental watch. If you're like a kid or
- 1:09:35Speaker 3: a miner in there, you have to have parents with you.
- 1:09:38Speaker 3: You have to have this little like trying a key
- 1:09:40Speaker 3: that lets you in. So it's like police the perfect
- 1:09:42Speaker 3: amount where it feels very controlled, but there is a
- 1:09:45Speaker 3: good amount of chaos that's also going to your locid
- 1:09:47Speaker 3: scream and jumping into the pool and cannonballing and splashing
- 1:09:53Speaker 3: in Scarlet truly was like I told you how she's
- 1:09:57Speaker 3: crazy about bathtime. Right now, she was like, this is
- 1:10:01Speaker 3: backtime with like sixty people.
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: You own steroids. This guy has his shirt off. What's
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: he gonna do?
- 1:10:08Speaker 3: Cannonball didn't even know you could do that.
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: That was sick.
- 1:10:12Speaker 3: And she's like standing there on the little one foot
- 1:10:16Speaker 3: deep section and there's a little side to the pool
- 1:10:19Speaker 3: so she can stand there, and she's just doing this
- 1:10:22Speaker 3: the whole time, just looking at everybody like, oh my god,
- 1:10:26Speaker 3: this is incredible.
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: Look how big this tub is. Look how big this
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: sub is.
- 1:10:31Speaker 3: And dude, these little like ten eleven, twelve thirteen year
- 1:10:34Speaker 3: old girls are in this pack and they're ripping around
- 1:10:38Speaker 3: and Scarlet is truly studying them and watching them like
- 1:10:44Speaker 3: I'm a big girl just like them.
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: Yeah, when they gonna ask me to come.
- 1:10:48Speaker 3: Wait a minute, Yeah, what's the Why am I with
- 1:10:50Speaker 3: mamas and dad?
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: As?
- 1:10:52Speaker 3: Why am I not with the girl group? Cause like
- 1:10:55Speaker 3: they know what's going on. I obviously know what's going on. Yeah,
- 1:10:58Speaker 3: I'm holding Scarlet lady in the day and I'm trying
- 1:11:01Speaker 3: to talk to her like at the pool, I'm like you, dad,
- 1:11:03Speaker 3: unless you both stuff that would get her attention, And
- 1:11:06Speaker 3: she literally had her hand up on my face kind
- 1:11:09Speaker 3: of like hey, get away from me and staring at
- 1:11:11Speaker 3: the girls.
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, that come on now, she's not even one.
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: Continues to get worse, man.
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: But she ripped. That was my That was my crack
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: of cold one.
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: On the uh the plane too cool. Like what's going
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: on in my brain right now is when is the
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: last time I'm gonna like hold rue for real? Because
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: she's four, and she's like, uh, you know, she's like
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: a bigger she's like a taller girl, so she's getting heavier.
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: But I pick her up every every time she's wanting
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: me to carry her, which is still which is still
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: a decent amount, but I am it's since she's four,
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: I am wondering if this is the age where it
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: starts to starts to fizzle out, because every time I
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: do pick her up, I am trying to be conscious
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: of what's around me so that way I can at
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: least do my best to bottle up and remember the
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: last time I'm going to be holding her. Maybe it's five,
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: Maybe I'm maybe I'm jumping, Maybe I'm being a little
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: too quick right now, but based on how heavy she's
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: starting to get and everything else.
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: But she's wanting to hold hands a lot.
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: Now. Yeah, yeah, yeah, she's very much. She's very she's
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: like she's gonna be an independent type. She loves to
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: do stuff on her own. She is a.
- 1:12:25Speaker 3: Like stereotypical oldest daughter, firstborn daughter. Yeah yeah, yeah, she
- 1:12:32Speaker 3: is a firstborn daughter through and through.
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: So that's what's been coming to my head in those moments,
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: like make me sad in the moment. Then I'm like,
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: I have to like cherish these moments, bro, it has to.
- 1:12:41Speaker 3: That was my first time hanging out with a child
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: that knows me pretty well, being that age four, and
- 1:12:49Speaker 3: like I've been around the last two yeah, two years.
- 1:12:57Speaker 3: She feels very comfortable with me. She's talking to me,
- 1:13:00Speaker 3: she's telling me stories, she wants me to tell her stories.
- 1:13:04Speaker 3: She wants me to hold her hand, run with her
- 1:13:07Speaker 3: on three jump, you know, she's like playing with me. Yeah,
- 1:13:11Speaker 3: and I'm thinking to myself, oh my god, Scarlet's three
- 1:13:16Speaker 3: years from this, like, oh my god.
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: Like and they'll tell you a fly time does just go,
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: it goes.
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: She might as well be a teenager in my eyes
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: compared to Scarlet.
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: Yeah, because we're about to go down to Florida.
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: This week for some vacation time, and it's our third
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: year in a row going down to Florida.
- 1:13:37Speaker 3: Yeah, it's kind of like, my gosh, you remember the
- 1:13:40Speaker 3: video from two years ago where she could hardly even run, Yes, dude,
- 1:13:48Speaker 3: and now she's running with Uncle shermy and she I
- 1:13:52Speaker 3: was doing a pretty brisk job with her.
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: Oh yeah, she can move, she can move. I was like, okay,
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: all right, Rue.
- 1:13:59Speaker 2: Yeah, and she's so pump to go down to the beach.
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: But yeah, man, time just goes. And so I'm like
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: in that headspace of like this feels like four almost
- 1:14:08Speaker 2: seems like where it starts to really tape her off,
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: you like picking them up and then when you to
- 1:14:12Speaker 2: hold them. And maybe I'm wrong. All I know is
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: I'm starting to think about it now, and then I think, like,
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: you know, I've laid with ruin her bed every night
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: for the last you know, four years or since she's
- 1:14:22Speaker 2: been like in when when you transition to the crypt
- 1:14:25Speaker 2: where it's a bed. Yeah, but I've just laid with
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: her every night, like scratching her back, start off with
- 1:14:31Speaker 2: like hand massage and all the little things that like
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: help me get her to sleep and get her to bed.
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: But now it's such a cadence on whether I do
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: bedtime or Mama does bedtime. No matter what, dead has
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: the closer when it comes into laying with her at
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: bedtime at night. Yeah, and I know I'm ahead of
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: my skis here, but I'm thinking when she's six or seven, like,
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: when's gonna be the last time? Because I came across
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: something on Instagram of a mom kind of like yeah,
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: having one of them like grieving posts like obviously just
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: talking about the momentory it was the last time she
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: laid with her daughter in bed, like I want to
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: go to sleep by myself. I'm like, oh shit, when
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: is that gonna happen? I'll be I'm a couple of
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: years removed from that, but I'm starting to think about
- 1:15:12Speaker 2: things like that, the last time you do X with
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: your little one.
- 1:15:18Speaker 3: I can't speak to this as well as some pet
- 1:15:20Speaker 3: sikos could speak to this with older kids.
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: But to find a silver lining for you, like you
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: did for Auburn, you are transitioning into the back rides
- 1:15:32Speaker 2: and shoulder rides age with through you may not be
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: holding her like a little baby anymore, but she's gonna
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: still want to climb up on Dada's back and get
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: a little You know, you have that no matter what,
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: I'm gonna even when she's twenty, like, get on that.
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: You still love this. You know you're blade in the NFL.
- 1:15:55Speaker 3: He's gonna do this for like an hour. Then I'll
- 1:15:57Speaker 3: fall asleep. He'll fall asleep. You knowlight bro your sun
- 1:16:09Speaker 3: in lawns. Man, they are lucky. They're gonna have fun.
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: Dude. I know I really jumped before with that, But
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: your your last, some of your last are coming crawling.
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: A lot of my last are coming the pass at
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: some point. And you know you when you get to
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: the passy transition, you're ready to get out of the
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: passy transition, like you really are, because you don't want
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: them to be attached to the passy for forever. Yeah.
- 1:16:36Speaker 2: But then when you when like Rubying four, you look
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: back at old photos where she's got the pass in
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: the mouth and you're just like, oh, I wish I
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: could go back. I wish I could go in that
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: photo and just squeeze the ship out of you.
- 1:16:47Speaker 3: It's funny because they updated it today my daycare. They
- 1:16:51Speaker 3: were talking about how long Scarlet is. She's a very
- 1:16:56Speaker 3: petite you know, for her age, like she's not a
- 1:17:00Speaker 3: big baby, but she is very long. Because she's skinny,
- 1:17:04Speaker 3: it kind of probably makes her look longer. And her
- 1:17:07Speaker 3: profile picture at her daycare is from her like first
- 1:17:11Speaker 3: week at daycare. So I'm a little app I just
- 1:17:14Speaker 3: see my little squish that basically came from the hospital
- 1:17:19Speaker 3: and they're talking about how big she's getting out big
- 1:17:22Speaker 3: she's getting. I'm like, I know, it makes you really
- 1:17:24Speaker 3: sad because I look at my little squish on my
- 1:17:26Speaker 3: profile picture for y'all's daycare and I'm like, that's not
- 1:17:30Speaker 3: even the same girl.
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: Yeah, man, he is.
- 1:17:32Speaker 3: And then they just updated her picture today and a
- 1:17:35Speaker 3: part of me died.
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: I'm like, I get why.
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: They probably thought that I was secretly saying, hey, update
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: her picture.
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: No keep it.
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: Oh you missed a little squish, dude. Ugh yeah, even
- 1:17:48Speaker 2: with Scottie, you see, and they just look so different.
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: They're just they just grow up fast, man.
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: And we're talking about her little ones like we're there's
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: people there's parents out there that have teenagers and they're
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: grown adults.
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: They're saying, you fools, if you could only imagine.
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: Yeah, they're just like, oh buddy, just wait it gets worse. Well,
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: I was talking with shout out, will he set me
- 1:18:12Speaker 2: up with his barber friend Alan. Okay, a nice haircut,
- 1:18:16Speaker 2: everybody in the chat. Nice haircut, shirm, nice haircut sherm,
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: shake him up.
- 1:18:20Speaker 3: Alan, apologies, I did not put product in it this morning.
- 1:18:23Speaker 3: I could have flaunted your haircut way better, but Alan
- 1:18:27Speaker 3: put me on game. Alan's also talking to me about
- 1:18:30Speaker 3: his son, Zion. Did we talk about I just said
- 1:18:35Speaker 3: his son's name is that cool? I have no clue.
- 1:18:39Speaker 3: I think Zy is okay. I think I feel like
- 1:18:42Speaker 3: we've talked about him before. Well, I we'll check, okay, yeah.
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: Uh.
- 1:18:46Speaker 3: And his daughter who's new newly born, and he's talking
- 1:18:52Speaker 3: about how much easier girls are than guys. Uh, just
- 1:18:56Speaker 3: through the toddler phase. And I was telling Jill when
- 1:18:59Speaker 3: I got from Alan's. I was like, you know, Alan
- 1:19:02Speaker 3: was really like, you know, just talking about how awesome
- 1:19:05Speaker 3: it's been to have a girl and how easy it
- 1:19:07Speaker 3: is and blah blah blah. And I was saying how
- 1:19:09Speaker 3: easy it is. And Jill's like doing her hair before bed,
- 1:19:12Speaker 3: and she goes, yeah, wait till she's twelve.
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: It's like, what what's that?
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: God? What kind of U do you on him?
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: What kind of threat is.
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: You know what?
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: I will wait till she's twelve and she'll still love dad.
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: Maybe. Yeah, that's buddy, I hope. So yeah, that's a dawn.
- 1:19:36Speaker 2: That seems like it for me. That's a daunting, that's
- 1:19:38Speaker 2: a fearful age. It is.
- 1:19:40Speaker 3: Well, we'll check back in in season thirteen afore the dads.
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: We'll run that clip and then we'll you know, hey off.
- 1:19:46Speaker 2: That I found that Instagram post that had me thinking
- 1:19:48Speaker 2: about holding roof for the last time. This can this
- 1:19:51Speaker 2: can be Willy's personal lesson of the week. This one
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: is from a nurtured first and this is this is
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: a mommy emotional seems a little over over the top,
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: but I fully like these thoughts happened in my brain. Uh.
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: For the last six years, my husband and I have
- 1:20:07Speaker 2: laid next to her daughter until she fell asleep. Bedtime
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: runs smoothly, she sleeps well, so this has been working
- 1:20:13Speaker 2: for us. A few days before her sixth birthday, she
- 1:20:15Speaker 2: informed us that she was ready to fall asleep alone.
- 1:20:19Speaker 2: So after doing a good night song and story, I
- 1:20:22Speaker 2: walked out of the room, closed the door, and stood
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: on the other side. Tears streamed down my cheeks, and
- 1:20:27Speaker 2: they ain't gonna stream down my cheeks. I'm gonna be tough,
- 1:20:29Speaker 2: come onna be I'm gonna grunt a couple of times.
- 1:20:34Speaker 2: I'm gonna feel, I'm gonna feel these emotions, but I'm
- 1:20:36Speaker 2: just gonna grunt a couple of times in a couple
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: of clear she fucking stays strong. Boy. Everyone tells you
- 1:20:43Speaker 2: about how uh, Everyone tells you about how sweet the
- 1:20:46Speaker 2: first moments with your kids are, but no one prepares
- 1:20:48Speaker 2: you for the last. The last time you feed them
- 1:20:51Speaker 2: a bottle, the last time you rock them to sleep,
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: the last time they use a sippy cup, the last
- 1:20:57Speaker 2: time they need your help to get dressed. I stood there, grieving,
- 1:21:01Speaker 2: though filled with gratitude about how my kids are getting older.
- 1:21:05Speaker 2: We're out of the baby stage, and with every passing day,
- 1:21:08Speaker 2: I feel like I'm hitting another last moment. All of
- 1:21:11Speaker 2: a sudden, I heard her voice, Mom, are you still there? Yes?
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: Can can you lay with me? One last night? Always?
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: As I laid down with her again, I tried to
- 1:21:21Speaker 2: savor the moment. I listened to her breathing. I smiled
- 1:21:24Speaker 2: at the way she likes to have her legs tucked
- 1:21:26Speaker 2: right next to mine. I closed my eyes in her
- 1:21:28Speaker 2: dark room and tried to freeze time. Eventually I fell asleep,
- 1:21:32Speaker 2: waking up a while later asking her, or waking up
- 1:21:36Speaker 2: a while later to her asking me to leave. Mom,
- 1:21:39Speaker 2: you're squishing me. And there it was the glimmer of
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: independence that for so long I waited for. Why am
- 1:21:44Speaker 2: I sharing this? Why am I sharing this? Because isn't
- 1:21:47Speaker 2: this real parenting? And of course this is real parenting?
- 1:21:52Speaker 2: The multitudes of feelings that we can carry all at once, grief, gratitude, joy,
- 1:21:57Speaker 2: and nostalgia. We want them to be little, but we
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: yearn for them to grow up too. How beautiful to
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: feel so deeply. What a gift to love someone who
- 1:22:05Speaker 2: makes us want every version of them all at once.
- 1:22:08Speaker 2: What an honor to be one, What an honor to
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: be the one who is there for her first, and
- 1:22:14Speaker 2: to be the only one who can truly notice the lasts,
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: these tiny moments that no one else sees. Matters. You
- 1:22:21Speaker 2: are doing great, great little lesson and coming to us
- 1:22:26Speaker 2: from a mom Instagram Hey and brother ay from some
- 1:22:30Speaker 2: masculine men. From the men, and I will run a
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: tough version of that.
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: Brother.
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: I got the lunch pale equivalent the blue collar equivalent.
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: Of like parenting like a true.
- 1:22:47Speaker 3: Pt sicko, but this one was an empty sicko. And
- 1:22:51Speaker 3: it goes right into that of it was her last
- 1:22:54Speaker 3: lunch for her boy, her youngest boy, and she had
- 1:22:58Speaker 3: and I'll find the video for you, chef. I'll send
- 1:23:00Speaker 3: it to you. You can play just like the footage
- 1:23:03Speaker 3: of it. You don't have to play the whole thing.
- 1:23:07Speaker 3: She has four boys and it's her youngest boys about
- 1:23:10Speaker 3: to go off to college, just this last day of
- 1:23:12Speaker 3: high school. And she counted up, just mathematically, like how
- 1:23:16Speaker 3: many school lunches she has made for all four boys
- 1:23:20Speaker 3: all the way through? And it was an astronomical number, dude,
- 1:23:25Speaker 3: insane number. She starts tearing up at the end of
- 1:23:29Speaker 3: this is my last lunch, blah blah, and the sun's

- 1:25:32Speaker 7: Tore said, this may be the best voicemail I've ever received.
- 1:25:36Speaker 7: Currently on a cross country flight.
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: Now that I've listened to your voicemail and fully had
- 1:25:39Speaker 2: time to receive this take, it's even more wild than before.
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: There's no way in hell Chris Bapple is number one.
- 1:25:47Speaker 2: I could see three to five, but definitely not number one.

- 1:26:34Speaker 3: Day weekend.
- 1:26:35Speaker 2: Dude, Justin, I feel you on that.
- 1:26:38Speaker 3: So he did three solo dad days in a row
- 1:26:41Speaker 3: on Memorial Day weekend. Ooh, hits him with a little

- 1:27:07Speaker 3: possible injuries. Have used it on a few courses and
- 1:27:11Speaker 3: no issues after they read it. I even attached a
- 1:27:14Speaker 3: copy for you. Also works great if you line up
- 1:27:17Speaker 3: your tea time and nap times so the wife can't argue.
- 1:27:20Speaker 2: Justin my god, that's some good game within the game.
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: That's some game within the game.
- 1:27:26Speaker 2: Oh look, you don't even have to worry about. Here's
- 1:27:28Speaker 2: a waiver that I I wished you when Nashburo was like, yeah,
- 1:27:32Speaker 2: we don't allow, I just go. Now you do.
- 1:27:36Speaker 3: Now you do because I just signed her life away.

- 1:28:23Speaker 3: instead of cutting it, and it leaves it open for
- 1:28:25Speaker 3: infection into the yard. As a proud member of PT Landscape,
- 1:28:29Speaker 3: can't let the neighbors show you up much love.
- 1:28:33Speaker 2: You just put whatever word after PT now it's it's
- 1:28:37Speaker 2: ripping and roaring. I got one here. This is pt fit.

- 1:31:04Speaker 7: that was really long a couple of weeks ago to
- 1:31:06Speaker 7: match the date, but it was late for the birthday.
- 1:31:08Speaker 2: So I have the name.
- 1:31:09Speaker 7: I have the shorter email in you guys did that
- 1:31:12Speaker 7: thing where you kiss on screen and you start doing

- 1:32:04Speaker 2: He won't be home until June fourth. I cannot put

- 1:32:36Speaker 2: download these pods so hard. He's going to get to

- 1:32:39Speaker 2: such a badass? Are you talking about Vini Vini? Avinhi? Uh?

- 1:32:52Speaker 3: Lauren here writing to brag on my PTSIKO Hubby Kyle
- 1:32:57Speaker 3: has been a source of joy and laughter when we
- 1:32:59Speaker 3: feel like we're on a battlefield and can't see the
- 1:33:01Speaker 3: white flag being raised yet on the other side, I've
- 1:33:05Speaker 3: been wanting to write in a while now and am
- 1:33:08Speaker 3: begging y'all to shout out my man. To start out,
- 1:33:12Speaker 3: we have two beautiful kiddos, Quentin who's almost three, Liliana
- 1:33:16Speaker 3: Lily for sure, Liliana Lily for short though, who's three
- 1:33:22Speaker 3: months old. Quentin is a straight up wild child, all boy,
- 1:33:26Speaker 3: jumping and climbing, wrestling NonStop all day long. He's so
- 1:33:29Speaker 3: smart and tough and I know it will serve him
- 1:33:31Speaker 3: well one day. Much to my dismay, Kyle has started
- 1:33:35Speaker 3: calling him Big Do and Q will reply with a
- 1:33:40Speaker 3: deep Lily is the happiest baby girl. She was born
- 1:33:45Speaker 3: at nine pounds six ounces. That's a that's a big
- 1:33:47Speaker 3: baby girl. That's a big baby girl. That's a big again, nine.

- 1:34:09Speaker 3: But big babies are the freaking best and she is
- 1:34:11Speaker 3: the most beautiful angel her daddy's ever seen. I had
- 1:34:14Speaker 3: to tell Kyle he couldn't take her to our local
- 1:34:17Speaker 3: Daddy Daughter dance this year because she was only one
- 1:34:20Speaker 3: week old.
- 1:34:21Speaker 2: He can't wait for that day.

- 1:34:54Speaker 3: his back style going from one kiddo to two is
- 1:34:57Speaker 3: the best rollercoaster we've ever ridden. Being a teacher in Texas,
- 1:35:01Speaker 3: shout out, Uh, you don't get much help financially. For
- 1:35:06Speaker 3: maternity leave, Kyle has been grinding on weekends and pulling
- 1:35:09Speaker 3: late nights at the shop so that I could stay
- 1:35:12Speaker 3: home with the baby girl. Not only has he been
- 1:35:15Speaker 3: grinding at work, but he's also the best at and
- 1:35:17Speaker 3: husband through it all. He takes Q out to the park,
- 1:35:20Speaker 3: into hikes, and always helps during the night with Lily Bug.
- 1:35:24Speaker 2: He also makes.
- 1:35:24Speaker 3: Sure that I get time for me by keeping the
- 1:35:27Speaker 3: kiddos and always takes out the trash. Kyle he provides, protects, leads,

- 1:37:09Speaker 2: girl for the past month and it's been killing him.
- 1:37:11Speaker 2: But he stepped up to the plate, saying good along
- 1:37:13Speaker 2: the way, and has shown Penny that mommy might be awesome,
- 1:37:16Speaker 2: but Daddy is just as loving as intentatives. Come on, Dad,
- 1:37:20Speaker 2: I'm always in awe at the patience he has with

- 1:39:52Speaker 2: By two tuddies and the guy up there in Mercedes
- 1:39:55Speaker 2: bands running the sound.
- 1:39:57Speaker 1: He's got his headphones on.
- 1:39:58Speaker 3: He's hey, Charlie, Charlie, Hey, what are the bears play
- 1:40:01Speaker 3: when they're up where they play?
- 1:40:03Speaker 1: Jump around?
- 1:40:05Speaker 2: Jump around?
- 1:40:07Speaker 6: Bim bim ba.
- 1:40:11Speaker 2: You guys play jump around?
- 1:40:17Speaker 1: Put it, don't puck it in.
- 1:40:19Speaker 2: Let me begin. Hey, but hey, sick, you're waiting to
- 1:40:21Speaker 2: see the gender of your baby. That's so true. Got
- 1:40:26Speaker 2: to play jump around the delivery room if you if
- 1:40:30Speaker 2: you're a dog if you're a real dog. Anyways, that
- 1:40:35Speaker 2: was my only note. We do have voicemails. Let's hit them.
- 1:40:39Speaker 2: Six and one of the dad's call.
- 1:40:41Speaker 1: In, police call in. We got Will's number one.
- 1:40:45Speaker 2: Ally is the title of the very first one.
- 1:40:52Speaker 8: Will, Sir, proud girl, dad of one year old twin
- 1:40:55Speaker 8: girls a here.
- 1:40:57Speaker 2: Will.
- 1:40:57Speaker 8: I owe you a huge apology, big apology massive. I'm
- 1:41:01Speaker 8: so sorry. Last week was a long one. I'd won
- 1:41:05Speaker 8: the girls catch the stomach bug begin week, running all week.
- 1:41:08Speaker 8: I think it's about to end. Second girl catch the
- 1:41:10Speaker 8: stomach bug, and then a three day weekend, holiday weekend
- 1:41:15Speaker 8: rain comes. We're canceling all the plans because of rain.
- 1:41:18Speaker 8: Sick girls. I'm trying to listen to the pod to
- 1:41:21Speaker 8: cheer things up. I'll admit it. I was laughing at
- 1:41:25Speaker 8: you for waiting the bed. I was in my ivory tower,
- 1:41:28Speaker 8: a grown man, thinking I've never wet the bed. Look
- 1:41:31Speaker 8: at Will, he's wet in the bed. I'm so sorry.
- 1:41:34Speaker 8: You know, Sunday night rolls through. I wake up in
- 1:41:37Speaker 8: the middle of night. What happened? Yep, you guessed it.
- 1:41:41Speaker 8: I pooped the bed. Good stomach bug must have come around,
- 1:41:45Speaker 8: But you know, no excuses when we're in the trenches.
- 1:41:48Speaker 8: Will I'm sorry. I know they're technically different, but I'm
- 1:41:53Speaker 8: an ally now. We're all in this thing together anyway.
- 1:41:57Speaker 8: I love you guys, thanks for everything I'll do. I
- 1:42:00Speaker 8: also shout out some of the other PT sixers out there.
- 1:42:04Speaker 8: Shout out Tyler forgetting me on the pod, Ben, Michael Weston,
- 1:42:07Speaker 8: Try you guys are out there. Love you guys, see it.
- 1:42:10Speaker 2: Shout out the bed shitters, Dude, shout and shout out
- 1:42:13Speaker 2: pet shit y, shout up, shut out bet shit. I
- 1:42:17Speaker 2: will say I've seen a couple now come out in
- 1:42:20Speaker 2: the comment section to say that they've had the bed
- 1:42:22Speaker 2: wedding problem. They've had the bed wedding before.
- 1:42:25Speaker 1: There's a lot of truth being shared, you know. I
- 1:42:28Speaker 1: mean that in a good way, like trust me, I
- 1:42:31Speaker 1: see it.
- 1:42:31Speaker 2: That's positive.
- 1:42:33Speaker 1: They say, hey, Willie boy, you're not alone.
- 1:42:35Speaker 2: Yeah. I've seen a couple of those, and it does
- 1:42:38Speaker 2: make me feel better.
- 1:42:39Speaker 3: Good good. Someone in our office. I didn't ask for
- 1:42:44Speaker 3: permission to share this story. Ship themselves. Twice over the weekend.
- 1:42:47Speaker 2: Three times I heard okay, so you spoke to you, yes, yes, okay,
- 1:42:52Speaker 2: so you're not alone? No, dude, sometimes you get a
- 1:42:55Speaker 2: little you think one's coming out and you got to
- 1:42:57Speaker 2: try to get a far down and a little short happens. Yeah,
- 1:43:00Speaker 2: that happens. I mean shit in the beds nuts you
- 1:43:03Speaker 2: ain't ain't. Oh how the tables have turned bed shit.
- 1:43:13Speaker 2: Uh there's now.
- 1:43:16Speaker 1: I think to myself, the guys who have.
- 1:43:20Speaker 2: Part of PT PISS that's listening to these last couple
- 1:43:23Speaker 2: of episodes, I'm wondering if in their mind they're like,
- 1:43:25Speaker 2: I need to go get my brain looked at. Now.
- 1:43:28Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that's what I said in last week's episode,
- 1:43:32Speaker 2: and I didn't mean it like in a harsh way.
- 1:43:34Speaker 2: But it's not in a harsh way. But if you're
- 1:43:36Speaker 2: if you're legitimately say you shared the same thing. It's
- 1:43:39Speaker 2: like I saw one of my guys in the comments
- 1:43:41Speaker 2: being like, dude, shout out will for being real about
- 1:43:43Speaker 2: saying over at your buddy's house back in the younger.
- 1:43:46Speaker 1: Days, because that is a fear.
- 1:43:48Speaker 2: Like I read that comment, I was like, oh, dude,
- 1:43:50Speaker 2: this I'm speaking for a group now. Thank god there's
- 1:43:53Speaker 2: a few of us, but we're there. But if you're
- 1:43:55Speaker 2: a part of that and you had my experience wetting
- 1:43:59Speaker 2: the bed, and you've never talked about it, and maybe
- 1:44:02Speaker 2: just your wife knows. Yeah, and you're listening to those pods.
- 1:44:08Speaker 2: I feel like I'll be sitting there be like you
- 1:44:10Speaker 2: let me go get a scan or two just to
- 1:44:12Speaker 2: make sure.
- 1:44:14Speaker 3: Bro, you just unlocked a memory for me too, of
- 1:44:17Speaker 3: a time that I somewhat pooped the bed on vacation
- 1:44:21Speaker 3: with another family. I rolled up the sheet, like I
- 1:44:25Speaker 3: got all the sheets and stuff and like rolled it
- 1:44:27Speaker 3: up and put it in the laundry room, and the
- 1:44:30Speaker 3: mom of the like, no, no.
- 1:44:33Speaker 2: No streak, just a streak. Okay.
- 1:44:37Speaker 3: I was probably like nine or ten, but I just
- 1:44:40Speaker 3: fully had that memory unlocked. Pulled out sofa situation like
- 1:44:45Speaker 3: in the living room, and I rolled up the sheets.
- 1:44:47Speaker 3: I put them in the laundry room, trying to like
- 1:44:49Speaker 3: be sneaking a choy about it. A mom of the
- 1:44:52Speaker 3: family I was staying with message received.
- 1:44:56Speaker 2: Cleaned the sheets. They were back on the pull out
- 1:44:59Speaker 2: couch by the time we like got back from hanging
- 1:45:01Speaker 2: out all day. Oh yeah, good move. Not her first,
- 1:45:06Speaker 2: not her first rodeo probably, and I was sharing the
- 1:45:09Speaker 2: pullout couch with her such probably even like oh she
- 1:45:12Speaker 2: might thought it was her skid okay, I.
- 1:45:17Speaker 1: Had no idea.
- 1:45:17Speaker 3: It was the luggage they brought along Sherman the ship
- 1:45:21Speaker 3: in their pullout couch.
- 1:45:24Speaker 2: Bro, I had forgotten about that. You truly just unlocked
- 1:45:27Speaker 2: that memory for me. Scary moment, I'm sure. Yeah, that's one.
- 1:45:31Speaker 2: We're even playing out side and you're still like peeking
- 1:45:33Speaker 2: and wondering, like is one of the parents gonna say anything? Oh, buddy,
- 1:45:36Speaker 2: big time.
- 1:45:37Speaker 3: And it was the age where like girls were just
- 1:45:39Speaker 3: starting to become cute and his sisters had like friends
- 1:45:43Speaker 3: on the trip too.
- 1:45:44Speaker 2: Oh, I mean.
- 1:45:46Speaker 3: It was it was nightmare fuel. Nightmare fuel of what
- 1:45:51Speaker 3: am I gonna come back to you? Because our couch
- 1:45:53Speaker 3: is in the game room where everyone's hanging out. I
- 1:45:55Speaker 3: know that we're about to come back, yeah, to the
- 1:45:58Speaker 3: game room and hang out fresh sheets, thank god.
- 1:46:03Speaker 2: But in moments like that, you know, the saying where
- 1:46:05Speaker 2: it's like I'm gonna have to sleep with my with
- 1:46:06Speaker 2: one eye open tonight. Oh yeah, it's essentially how you
- 1:46:09Speaker 2: operate your day. Yeah, when you you know, for me,
- 1:46:12Speaker 2: when I would piss the bed at a buddy's house
- 1:46:13Speaker 2: or I'm trying to like hope that people aren't finding
- 1:46:17Speaker 2: out you like operating the day, whether you're playing video games,
- 1:46:20Speaker 2: playing outside, whatever you're doing, you're just like, oh man,
- 1:46:22Speaker 2: am I going to walk through this door and I'm
- 1:46:24Speaker 2: gonna be exposed.
- 1:46:27Speaker 1: I have a very special message for us.
- 1:46:30Speaker 3: Okay, just received not from Chase Daniel.
- 1:46:36Speaker 2: Okay, see thank you, Pet Sichos.
- 1:46:45Speaker 8: A little harmonica for him.
- 1:46:54Speaker 1: Yeah, heavy the brain, Eve, dude, heavy the breath.
- 1:47:02Speaker 2: That is amazing. Just phoned in mid recording. Shout out
- 1:47:07Speaker 2: to pt. Sichos man with the oink oink here and
- 1:47:13Speaker 2: the oink oink there here, annoying there, annoying everywhere, annoint
- 1:47:16Speaker 2: cooinc Oh McDonald.
- 1:47:19Speaker 1: God, let's go heavy.
- 1:47:24Speaker 4: Dude.
- 1:47:24Speaker 2: That's cool.
- 1:47:25Speaker 3: That's cool. That's freaking cool. Shout out their entire family too.
- 1:47:31Speaker 3: There was a lot of love. I tried to like
- 1:47:33Speaker 3: stay away from a ton of the comments and stuff.
- 1:47:37Speaker 3: I also wanted to, like anywhere where there was a
- 1:47:39Speaker 3: post where people work commenting, put some hearts in there.
- 1:47:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:47:43Speaker 3: But bro, they they didn't even need the cavalry of
- 1:47:47Speaker 3: PT six. I mean, I'm glad that the PT six
- 1:47:50Speaker 3: cavalry came through, but they got a lot of people
- 1:47:53Speaker 3: in their lives that love him. Dude, it's cool to
- 1:47:55Speaker 3: see people with a with a big net around him.
- 1:47:58Speaker 2: Yeah, of love one hundred percent. You think you're sing
- 1:48:01Speaker 2: that in we just got that? Yeah, that's awesome. God emails.
- 1:48:09Speaker 3: You want to do an email, dude, let's do an email.
- 1:48:13Speaker 3: I have a long email, so I can go first,
- 1:48:16Speaker 3: or I can go star.
- 1:48:18Speaker 2: Go ahead. As soon as I said, and I couldn't
- 1:48:25Speaker 2: find that funny of well, it's the only two week here.
- 1:48:29Speaker 2: Heads or tails? Heads are tails?
- 1:48:30Speaker 1: Oh wait wait tails tails.
- 1:48:36Speaker 2: Tails? Fun? How you gonna tell the sides? Chep?
- 1:48:47Speaker 1: How are you really quick? Before I get into this,
- 1:48:49Speaker 1: I'm doing good good. I just don't want to do
- 1:48:52Speaker 1: anything to feel space? Yeah, what's going on?
- 1:48:55Speaker 2: Oh?
- 1:48:55Speaker 5: I got one? I have some space feeling. Yes, yeah,
- 1:48:58Speaker 5: it's a fun one. Have you guys a little bit
- 1:49:00Speaker 5: of history here. Have you ever heard the song Blinded
- 1:49:02Speaker 5: by the Light by Manfred Man's Earth band Yinded.
- 1:49:05Speaker 2: By the Light? Yeah? Yeah.
- 1:49:08Speaker 5: Do you know the lyric right after that where he
- 1:49:09Speaker 5: goes wrapped up like and it sounds like wrapped up
- 1:49:12Speaker 5: like a douche?
- 1:49:13Speaker 1: Yeah? Right?
- 1:49:14Speaker 5: You know how that that sounds kind of weird? Never
- 1:49:16Speaker 5: made sense. The reason why is that the song was
- 1:49:19Speaker 5: originally written by Bruce Springsteen American Icon. However, on the
- 1:49:24Speaker 5: demo tape as he was singing it, Manford Man's bands
- 1:49:27Speaker 5: listening to it, they couldn't tell what he was saying.
- 1:49:30Speaker 5: What he was supposed to say is revved up like
- 1:49:33Speaker 5: a deuce, like an old deuce Corvette.
- 1:49:36Speaker 2: I think it was the car.
- 1:49:37Speaker 5: Yes, that was the original lyric, but Manford Man's Light
- 1:49:39Speaker 5: band when they're listening to demo tape couldn't understand what
- 1:49:42Speaker 5: Bruce was saying. So that's how we got wrapped up
- 1:49:45Speaker 5: like a douche fun little piece of music history.
- 1:49:49Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, that was electric. Check off the email
- 1:49:54Speaker 2: on this country Chef.
- 1:49:57Speaker 3: That was great shit, Johnny, this comes from mom. Johnny is.
- 1:50:03Speaker 3: This is his second time to ride in from Ireland.
- 1:50:06Speaker 3: He's a PT sicker Johnny here, second ride in from
- 1:50:16Speaker 3: Ireland PT sixer since the beginning, and now a fully
- 1:50:20Speaker 3: initiated and badge honoree of the PT Pisser Club after
- 1:50:26Speaker 3: this week's episode.
- 1:50:29Speaker 1: Quick story.
- 1:50:29Speaker 3: As an irishman, I'm partial to a few pints of
- 1:50:32Speaker 3: Guinness from time to time, and by a few, I
- 1:50:34Speaker 3: mean the kind of an evening where the barman stops
- 1:50:37Speaker 3: asking and just starts nodding. This one was the work
- 1:50:42Speaker 3: Christmas party, so you can safely assume we escalated well
- 1:50:46Speaker 3: beyond social drinking into character building decisions.
- 1:50:50Speaker 1: My better half empty sixer knows the drill.
- 1:50:53Speaker 3: If I come home swaying like a lamppost in a storm,
- 1:50:56Speaker 3: I'm sent straight to the spare room before I do
- 1:50:58Speaker 3: anything that requires film review the next day. Anyway, the
- 1:51:02Speaker 3: middle of the night, still absolutely marinated in guinness, I
- 1:51:05Speaker 3: get up, wander over to start taking a piss in
- 1:51:08Speaker 3: what I believed was the toilet, and execute action and
- 1:51:11Speaker 3: complete fastworded to the morning. I've woken up to my
- 1:51:15Speaker 3: lovely empty sixer with a gentle opener.
- 1:51:19Speaker 2: What the fuck is that smell?
- 1:51:22Speaker 3: I went into full investigation mode, like a bloodhound on
- 1:51:24Speaker 3: a personal mission.
- 1:51:26Speaker 1: I followed the scent trail, only.
- 1:51:27Speaker 3: To discover piss actively leaking out of the underneath of
- 1:51:31Speaker 3: my wardrobe door. At this point, I'm thinking, right, we're
- 1:51:36Speaker 3: in trouble here, but manageable trouble. Spare room towels, maybe
- 1:51:41Speaker 3: old bedding, bit of bleach, bit of denial.
- 1:51:44Speaker 2: We move on.
- 1:51:45Speaker 3: Not even close, lads, what did I piss on? If
- 1:51:49Speaker 3: you can ask, will sherman to take a few guesses.
- 1:51:53Speaker 3: What do you think he pissed on?
- 1:52:02Speaker 2: I'm gonna go.
- 1:52:05Speaker 3: Socks, some bagpipes, maybe in the guinness.
- 1:52:12Speaker 2: Or nowhere. He puts on the Christmas presence will nice?
- 1:52:26Speaker 3: The presence from Santa for their young daughter. Absolutely mayhem,
- 1:52:31Speaker 3: I'm talking wardrobe was like Santa's workshop. The North Pole
- 1:52:34Speaker 3: hr Department would have had a field day. I salvage
- 1:52:38Speaker 3: what I could, but like every war, we had some casualties.
- 1:52:41Speaker 3: But in true pt six ers, spirit replaced the fallen.
- 1:52:44Speaker 3: This earned me a very well deserved period.
- 1:52:46Speaker 2: And the bad books, which in Irish means the doghouse,
- 1:52:52Speaker 2: the bad books, the bad books. He's in the bad books.
- 1:52:56Speaker 2: Bad books, Yeah, bad books, Okay, okay, okay. The accent thing,
- 1:53:01Speaker 2: and I'm like, oh the pod books accents that pretty good?
- 1:53:06Speaker 3: WI might be with my worst accent, So think that
- 1:53:08Speaker 3: one was. I'm sure Johnny sitting there going what the
- 1:53:11Speaker 3: hell is? That earned me a very well desert period
- 1:53:14Speaker 3: in the bad books with the empty sixer, and rightly so.
- 1:53:17Speaker 3: Miraculously Christmas was saved, but I was under closed supervision
- 1:53:21Speaker 3: for the remainder of the festive period period. Moral of
- 1:53:25Speaker 3: the story don't be a grinch. Don't be a grinch.
- 1:53:29Speaker 3: Pisser as always loved the pod Johnny PT sixer pt
- 1:53:33Speaker 3: pisser ps. We are taking our girls to Orlando next
- 1:53:37Speaker 3: month for two weeks. I'll be sampling every lollipop flavor.
- 1:53:41Speaker 3: Ollipop flavor. Well then the US can't wait.
- 1:53:45Speaker 2: That's good. That is going to be in my top five,
- 1:53:49Speaker 2: he would.
- 1:53:50Speaker 3: And don't know if I can say this, but I
- 1:53:53Speaker 3: have heard that less likely to piss the bed when
- 1:53:56Speaker 3: it's lollipop. I can't prove that there's no scientific basis
- 1:54:01Speaker 3: on that. I've just heard less likely to piss the back.
- 1:54:04Speaker 2: Possibly possibly they're doing studies. I have an anonymous email here, oh.
- 1:54:10Speaker 1: I will Schrham, Deeke and Chef.
- 1:54:13Speaker 2: I'm writing in and wanted to say how much I
- 1:54:15Speaker 2: love the pod and what you guys are doing for
- 1:54:16Speaker 2: families around the globe. I have been a longtime listener
- 1:54:19Speaker 2: of Busting due to my brother putting me on during
- 1:54:21Speaker 2: his playing days and making it our weekly tradition to
- 1:54:24Speaker 2: tune in while he or I was at college, giving
- 1:54:27Speaker 2: us something to catch up over. While I'm not your
- 1:54:29Speaker 2: normal demographic, as I am a twenty five year old
- 1:54:33Speaker 2: single female before the dad's auto played after the bustin
- 1:54:36Speaker 2: episode one week and I haven't missed an episode since.
- 1:54:39Speaker 2: That is awesome, Just an auto play like, oh, what's this?
- 1:54:45Speaker 2: My dad and I haven't always seen eye to eye.
- 1:54:48Speaker 2: He was truly one of those people who grew up
- 1:54:50Speaker 2: with brothers and didn't know what being a girl dad
- 1:54:51Speaker 2: would be like. It hasn't been easy, but hearing you
- 1:54:54Speaker 2: guys gush over your daughter's and truly want to be
- 1:54:57Speaker 2: better for them and make the effort to show up
- 1:54:59Speaker 2: as made me and my own dad reconnect on a
- 1:55:02Speaker 2: deeper level again. When you were growing up, it's hard
- 1:55:05Speaker 2: to understand what it is your parents see for you
- 1:55:08Speaker 2: and that what they want most is for you to
- 1:55:10Speaker 2: be the best you possible. I've made my dad a
- 1:55:14Speaker 2: listener as well, sending clips asking to be caught up
- 1:55:16Speaker 2: on this week's episode, and although I am older than
- 1:55:19Speaker 2: your girls, I think you both have opened his eyes
- 1:55:22Speaker 2: into what being a girl that is and what it
- 1:55:25Speaker 2: is truly and that it has truly changed the way
- 1:55:27Speaker 2: we operate as a team. And I cannot thank you
- 1:55:30Speaker 2: enough for giving us this avenue and a second chance
- 1:55:34Speaker 2: at a closer relationship. Now a dad hack for the
- 1:55:37Speaker 2: new dance Dad will is becoming as someone whose dad
- 1:55:41Speaker 2: was in a similar situation with no clue about the
- 1:55:44Speaker 2: recitals and whatnot. Because I am the oldest child, the
- 1:55:47Speaker 2: first few were one hundred percent handled by my mom.
- 1:55:51Speaker 2: I dance from the ages three to eighteen. And let
- 1:55:53Speaker 2: me tell you, flowers are a must. And here's the hack.
- 1:55:57Speaker 2: Match to flowers to the costume she will be wearing.
- 1:56:01Speaker 2: That's a banger, and place the order ahead of time.
- 1:56:06Speaker 2: My parents always did this and it felt super special.
- 1:56:08Speaker 2: More than just picking up flowers on the ways of
- 1:56:11Speaker 2: the show. From my last recital, they even got a
- 1:56:14Speaker 2: flower from each bouquet, each past bouquet, signifying every costume
- 1:56:20Speaker 2: I had worn.
- 1:56:24Speaker 1: That's just a back, dude, that's a mow.
- 1:56:27Speaker 2: Sorry for the long winded email. I just truly wanted
- 1:56:30Speaker 2: to thank y'all for the wonderful work you continue to
- 1:56:32Speaker 2: do every week. And that is anonymous.
- 1:56:35Speaker 7: The reason she is anonymous is that her and her
- 1:56:37Speaker 7: dad listened to the episode of different parts, so she
- 1:56:39Speaker 7: kind of he listens first. She wants to see if
- 1:56:41Speaker 7: he'll get it, but she also wants to share that
- 1:56:43Speaker 7: that's from her before he gets it.
- 1:56:45Speaker 2: Himself.
- 1:56:46Speaker 8: That's amazing.
- 1:56:47Speaker 2: That's amazing.
- 1:56:48Speaker 1: Hey.
- 1:56:49Speaker 3: Also I'm thinking book, like a journal style book, lather covers,
- 1:56:55Speaker 3: something really nice. Yeah, And you put one flower on
- 1:57:01Speaker 3: the page, and you know how when you press the
- 1:57:03Speaker 3: pages and it dries and it can stick there, like
- 1:57:07Speaker 3: you can put a little glue on it, and the
- 1:57:08Speaker 3: flower stick in the pages and just like in real
- 1:57:11Speaker 3: fancy you know, get Charlie to do some like fancy
- 1:57:13Speaker 3: cursive underneath each flower, like one little sentence like the
- 1:57:17Speaker 3: title of the show, and then you'll have all these
- 1:57:21Speaker 3: pages of like each little flower.
- 1:57:23Speaker 2: Dude, that could be good. I love that's a great email. Yeah,
- 1:57:30Speaker 2: thank you for stick email, thank you for writing in
- 1:57:34Speaker 2: and myself like her old man, it's like I grew
- 1:57:37Speaker 2: up just around brothers. I grew up and my two brothers.
- 1:57:41Speaker 2: We're all sports kids. My dad tough love my mom
- 1:57:45Speaker 2: who like operated it as both like mom and dad.
- 1:57:49Speaker 2: Like she could change the belt on a car, on
- 1:57:51Speaker 2: an engine, change the oil, change out a flat tires,
- 1:57:56Speaker 2: all the stuff. She was a warrior dude. So we
- 1:57:59Speaker 2: just grew up around like that, mostly masculine energy. Huh
- 1:58:03Speaker 2: so coming in being surrounded by all women. Now, my wife,
- 1:58:07Speaker 2: she was a ballet cheerleader. My two girls waffles. A
- 1:58:13Speaker 2: girl surrounded by nothing but ast love, waffle, shout out, waffle,
- 1:58:19Speaker 2: testosterone suppressants all around me. Mmm, what are you gonna do?
- 1:58:24Speaker 6: What?
- 1:58:26Speaker 2: But I feel for the old man like yeah, I
- 1:58:30Speaker 2: and being in that generation prior to us, very different
- 1:58:34Speaker 2: style not not like insanely different style of parenting, like
- 1:58:38Speaker 2: you all want the same things. But I don't know.
- 1:58:41Speaker 2: I have a lot of empathy when I think back
- 1:58:43Speaker 2: of the parenting styles that I appreciate it for my dad,
- 1:58:46Speaker 2: and also things that I wouldn't do from what my
- 1:58:48Speaker 2: dad did. But I can also like empathize and almost
- 1:58:51Speaker 2: I just understand that it was a different there is
- 1:58:55Speaker 2: a different time, and ultimately I just know he did
- 1:58:59Speaker 2: the best he could or thought he was doing the
- 1:59:00Speaker 2: best he could.
- 1:59:02Speaker 3: There's no better thing because I did not have a
- 1:59:05Speaker 3: roadmap for that either. I only had a couple girl
- 1:59:09Speaker 3: dads in my life that I was relatively close with.
- 1:59:15Speaker 3: But something for any early girl dads, there was a
- 1:59:17Speaker 3: little dad hack for you. For any girl dads out there, Dude,
- 1:59:22Speaker 3: watch these dads operate at their daughter's weddings. Dude, there
- 1:59:26Speaker 3: is nothing I love more than watching a man talk
- 1:59:30Speaker 3: about their daughter either at the rehearsal dinner, at the reception,
- 1:59:35Speaker 3: like wherever it may be. And I talked about it
- 1:59:39Speaker 3: briefly that a wedding in Houston that we went to.
- 1:59:43Speaker 3: Dude Meg's dad when he would come into the room,
- 1:59:47Speaker 3: all of Meg's friends would light up and they're all
- 1:59:49Speaker 3: hugging him, and he's asking him all these personal questions
- 1:59:53Speaker 3: and interacting with all of them. Like you could just
- 1:59:55Speaker 3: tell how locked into all these girls he is, how
- 2:00:00Speaker 3: decided he is to introduce his wife to me because
- 2:00:02Speaker 3: I'm Jill's husband, and they love Jill and they know
- 2:00:06Speaker 3: all about Jill, they know all about Meg's friends, and
- 2:00:08Speaker 3: like I'm like, dude, like it's so much fun to
- 2:00:12Speaker 3: watch a girl dad.
- 2:00:14Speaker 2: That's operated. Do you like see the fruits of that labor,
- 2:00:17Speaker 2: like at a wedding. It's cool, dude, So like, put
- 2:00:21Speaker 2: those dad goggles on next time you're at a wedding, uh,
- 2:00:25Speaker 2: and watch that Father of the Bride And watch Father
- 2:00:28Speaker 2: of the Bride. Great movie, great movie. Have you ever
- 2:00:32Speaker 2: seen The Father of the Bride?
- 2:00:33Speaker 1: Watched it last week. I'll check it out. I'll check
- 2:00:37Speaker 1: it out.
- 2:00:37Speaker 2: Check it out.
- 2:00:38Speaker 1: Will Will will like, you mean, you're gonna cry.
- 2:00:40Speaker 7: I just for the first time, because we're deep into
- 2:00:42Speaker 7: wedding movies and so we have a couple of rotigion.
- 2:00:44Speaker 2: I watch it for the first time. Very good, You're good.
- 2:00:47Speaker 2: You're gonna ball your eyes out. You're gonna ball your
- 2:00:50Speaker 2: eyes out. Okay, we can wrap this sod. But I'm
- 2:00:52Speaker 2: just helping you. Dude.
- 2:00:54Speaker 3: That's a must pull on the heart shrinks. Oh yeah,
- 2:00:58Speaker 3: and it's Steve Martin, who, like, I mean, he rips.
- 2:01:01Speaker 1: Obviously. It's a very funny movie too.
- 2:01:04Speaker 3: Char I like, if Charlo hasn't watched it a million times,
- 2:01:08Speaker 3: I'll be shocked.
- 2:01:09Speaker 2: Okay, she'll want to watch it with you. Okay, Okay,
- 2:01:12Speaker 2: get on, I'll put it out. Look well, look at look,
- 2:01:14Speaker 2: look look at you're gonna look look at.
- 2:01:18Speaker 1: What's the big deal? Do you have a lesson a week?
- 2:01:22Speaker 1: I have a very short No. Mine was the uh
- 2:01:24Speaker 1: the one I had earlier.
- 2:01:26Speaker 3: Mine is that we have done this for a year,
- 2:01:31Speaker 3: spending a year with the boys, spending year with like guys,
- 2:01:34Speaker 3: and really being intentional with each other. I know we
- 2:01:37Speaker 3: all don't speak like an equal amount on this pod,
- 2:01:41Speaker 3: but I really have felt like I've gotten really close
- 2:01:43Speaker 3: to these guys. I felt like I've gotten really close
- 2:01:45Speaker 3: to you.
- 2:01:46Speaker 2: And just being intentional.
- 2:01:48Speaker 3: With fellow dads, with fellow boys, intentional with your time,
- 2:01:53Speaker 3: with what you share with them, telling them what's on
- 2:01:56Speaker 3: your heart, telling them what's pissing you off. It's incredible.
- 2:02:02Speaker 3: I feel twenty pounds later that I got to talk
- 2:02:04Speaker 3: about Sanniago with you guys today, or the when I
- 2:02:08Speaker 3: get to cry because of the way that Scarlett's holding
- 2:02:11Speaker 3: my pinky when I'm giving her Baba or whatever it
- 2:02:15Speaker 3: might be, or you make me cry when you're talking
- 2:02:18Speaker 3: about anything going on in your life and I'm getting
- 2:02:20Speaker 3: secondhand tears. It's kind of crazy. Yeah, it is, like
- 2:02:26Speaker 3: this show has been. It's been quite the blessing. I'm
- 2:02:31Speaker 3: very happy that I get to be a part of this,
- 2:02:33Speaker 3: so thank you.
- 2:02:35Speaker 2: Love that. By the way. Also, go eat at Fonda.
- 2:02:43Speaker 7: That was one of the best recommendations I've ever had
- 2:02:46Speaker 7: in my entire life.
- 2:02:47Speaker 2: I loved Fonda.
- 2:02:49Speaker 7: It replaced the restaurant mys De Lavidez Miningcats number one.
- 2:02:53Speaker 7: Like restaurant you still gotta hit the truck still, yeah, yes,
- 2:02:57Speaker 7: but for restaurant of Mexican food, Fonda blew me away.
- 2:03:00Speaker 7: Really you highlighted was we ordered everything? Well highlighted for us?
- 2:03:04Speaker 7: It was too much food. We ate it like we
- 2:03:05Speaker 7: had three meals. It was it was it was not
- 2:03:09Speaker 7: an expensive place, like it's reasonably priced. Yeah, we we
- 2:03:12Speaker 7: spent enough because we want and got my wedding band
- 2:03:14Speaker 7: and celebrated and it was I mean, knock your sauce off.
- 2:03:17Speaker 1: That is a new recommendation added to the list.
- 2:03:20Speaker 7: Really, Willy c is now on a stamp of approval
- 2:03:23Speaker 7: heater that I'm proud to sit next to that. Vie
- 2:03:25Speaker 7: Oh Fonda Nashville, Fonda, Nashville at the Ennace Era. Uh,
- 2:03:30Speaker 7: their gualk was good. The chips, I mean second to nine.
- 2:03:33Speaker 7: You understold them as much as we talked about them,
- 2:03:34Speaker 7: which is great. Taco board is a taco board, warning
- 2:03:37Speaker 7: everyone out there, it is a taco board. And it
- 2:03:40Speaker 7: was great. Then the Enchilada charo did ask me if
- 2:03:43Speaker 7: I like the writer green sauce better. We won half
- 2:03:45Speaker 7: in half. I like the green sauce a little better.
- 2:03:47Speaker 2: Uh. And some pretty good drinks, some pretty.
- 2:03:49Speaker 7: Good drinks, but I could I could slurp up the
- 2:03:50Speaker 7: broth from the Ennacharo.
- 2:03:52Speaker 2: Well done. Willie C. You're gonna make me emotional. You
- 2:03:58Speaker 2: really gonna make me cry that compliment right there? Have
- 2:04:02Speaker 2: you seen the Good Dinosaur?
- 2:04:04Speaker 1: Fuddy buddy? Have I seen the Good Dinosaur?
- 2:04:08Speaker 3: Are you talking about the skinny mfor long neck Green?
- 2:04:12Speaker 2: He's with the little Caveman boy? Yep, yeah, seen that.
- 2:04:17Speaker 2: He texted me, And there's a reason for why he
- 2:04:20Speaker 2: asked that. But he tell you, He's like, hey, you know,
- 2:04:22Speaker 2: I sent him a picture of the menu, and we're
- 2:04:24Speaker 2: just texting back and forth and he's like, oh so excited,
- 2:04:26Speaker 2: and I'm like giving him pacing throughout. He gets to
- 2:04:29Speaker 2: the end where I give him these flowers about Fonda,
- 2:04:31Speaker 2: and then he hits me with the have you seen
- 2:04:33Speaker 2: the Good Dinosaur? And in my brain, I go, Will's
- 2:04:35Speaker 2: just recommending shit now, Like he just must love The Good.
- 2:04:39Speaker 1: Dinosaur so much?
- 2:04:40Speaker 2: Recommended movie. Okay, hey if he dar he gave me
- 2:04:43Speaker 2: red Hey, another wreck for you, The Good Dinosaur. Hey,
- 2:04:46Speaker 2: if you like that's a day, let me let me
- 2:04:49Speaker 2: introduce you to a little dinosaur I like to call
- 2:04:51Speaker 2: the Good Dinosaur. But I was telling him, I was
- 2:04:55Speaker 2: trying to explain it to him because yeah, he hadn't
- 2:04:57Speaker 2: he hadn't seen it. I'm like, I feel like, uh,
- 2:05:00Speaker 2: what is it Argo the dinosaur's name where he earns
- 2:05:03Speaker 2: the here he earns his paw on the rock. Yeah,
- 2:05:08Speaker 2: he gets that stamp. I feel like I was walking
- 2:05:10Speaker 2: over Derek was allowing me to get up on the
- 2:05:12Speaker 2: rock and put my paw up there. I earned my
- 2:05:14Speaker 2: key in a good movie. He is a good movie.
- 2:05:17Speaker 2: This is what we watched on Pizza Friday. Last time
- 2:05:18Speaker 2: you see it? Oh yeah, we also watched The Jungle
- 2:05:21Speaker 2: Book live action over the weekend. We did.
- 2:05:23Speaker 1: Talked with Rue about that.
- 2:05:25Speaker 2: Yeah, she was into it.
- 2:05:26Speaker 3: She was very and asked me if I had seen
- 2:05:29Speaker 3: the Jungle Book. I said yes, I have, yes, ma'am.
- 2:05:31Speaker 3: And then I turned to you and I said, which
- 2:05:33Speaker 3: one though, because I've seen all of them. But also
- 2:05:37Speaker 3: the way he just spoke about Fonda, I feel like
- 2:05:40Speaker 3: you will be speaking about uh, Father of the Bride
- 2:05:43Speaker 3: when you see it.
- 2:05:43Speaker 2: Okay, Okay, Like that's.
- 2:05:45Speaker 1: Why that's like the kind of levels.
- 2:05:47Speaker 2: Okay. I thought you were about to come with a
- 2:05:49Speaker 2: food recommendation. No, get over to Stowhouse. Yep, get over
- 2:05:53Speaker 2: to Stoakhouse. Shout out, no free shout out. Gotta get
- 2:05:56Speaker 2: over to Stokehouse. Cannot wait wait, he hasn't even been
- 2:05:59Speaker 2: to Stoke cow stude.
- 2:06:02Speaker 3: I forgot about that because we went as an office,
- 2:06:06Speaker 3: but Will and Taylor weren't here.
- 2:06:07Speaker 7: We went as a trio, I won't say as a pod,
- 2:06:09Speaker 7: as a trio. Then we went as an office with
- 2:06:11Speaker 7: the Michigan interns. We gotta take dispatch of interns at
- 2:06:14Speaker 7: some point. You gotta come eventually.
- 2:06:16Speaker 2: Yeah, and we gotta hit fond and get the doco
- 2:06:20Speaker 2: Blake or board board and it's a board. I'm in
- 2:06:26Speaker 2: big board. Yeah.
- 2:06:28Speaker 1: Are we gonna?
- 2:06:28Speaker 2: Are we gonna get a meal? Us four?
- 2:06:33Speaker 1: Well, you're ft D don't have to, but we can't.
- 2:06:36Speaker 2: We talk about we'll look into it. We'll look into
- 2:06:38Speaker 2: it for the fans. We'll look into it, look into it.
- 2:06:40Speaker 2: Take out your trash. We'll see you next week. Love
- 2:06:42Speaker 2: you guys, Appreciate you for one year. You guys rock
