- 1:09Speaker 3: Today.
- 1:09Speaker 5: It's one, it's November third, It's one fifty pm Roan's voice.
- 1:14Speaker 5: It sounds shockingly weird, so just a heads up. He
- 1:20Speaker 5: wanted me to give a disclaimer.
- 1:21Speaker 6: Well, people might be like, why the fuck, but it's like,
- 1:24Speaker 6: we have to record this because we're recording today. They're like,
- 1:26Speaker 6: oh wait today, we're recording tomorrow and a podcast needs
- 1:29Speaker 6: to come out tomorrow and where we have our big fishing.
- 1:31Speaker 3: Trip this week.
- 1:32Speaker 6: So you're gonna be We're gonna voice no, no, I'll
- 1:35Speaker 6: be better.
- 1:36Speaker 3: We'll see.
- 1:37Speaker 6: I'm already better than when I walked in the room.
- 1:39Speaker 5: That's true. You do sound better on Yeah.
- 1:42Speaker 6: So fired up. I never know who's gonna walk through
- 1:44Speaker 6: that door. He's like, damn, love is blind.
- 1:49Speaker 3: Yeah it is.
- 1:50Speaker 5: But yeah, we got our big week planned out. We're
- 1:52Speaker 5: going upstate, going to Francis's place. Lots of big things
- 1:57Speaker 5: on the way.
- 1:57Speaker 3: I can't wait to get back home.
- 1:58Speaker 5: I can't wait to get better.
- 1:59Speaker 6: Be so nice to get back up there. What should
- 2:02Speaker 6: I wear it for fishing?
- 2:03Speaker 3: You need some warm stuff, man, it's gonna be cold.
- 2:05Speaker 3: Let's put it this way. It's forty eight degrees colder
- 2:08Speaker 3: up there than it is here.
- 2:09Speaker 5: Forty eight two hour drive. But I think that would
- 2:15Speaker 5: mean like my from here to my apartment, that it
- 2:17Speaker 5: would be like a ten degree change.
- 2:21Speaker 6: I mean it's forty eight degrees right now, you're saying
- 2:23Speaker 6: it's zero degrees.
- 2:25Speaker 5: It's three hundred miles away, So is it freezing up there?
- 2:29Speaker 3: It's ten degrees colder?
- 2:31Speaker 6: That's actually can you wear sweatshirts?
- 2:32Speaker 5: Significant?
- 2:33Speaker 3: It is significant?
- 2:34Speaker 5: Well fishing, Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Yeah, you're gonna
- 2:36Speaker 5: you're gonna need like a jacket.
- 2:37Speaker 6: But if it gets a little bit wet, like, do
- 2:39Speaker 6: I need something that wicks.
- 2:40Speaker 3: No, you're not gonna want to wick. You're gonna want
- 2:44Speaker 3: to fully when you went full waterproof. I don't think
- 2:49Speaker 3: wicking is in the cars.
- 2:51Speaker 5: So ideally you don't want to get wet.
- 2:53Speaker 3: Yeah, you don't want to be John Wick over here.
- 2:55Speaker 5: Like you don't want your clothes to get wet, because
- 2:57Speaker 5: then they'll stay wet and they'll freeze.
- 3:00Speaker 6: Fits that cold, Yeah, I've never fit. I've never fished
- 3:03Speaker 6: like this except for like off of a dock or
- 3:05Speaker 6: on a boat.
- 3:05Speaker 5: I don't think this is gonna be like, it's not
- 3:06Speaker 5: gonna be as bad as.
- 3:07Speaker 3: What it was.
- 3:08Speaker 5: You and Brandon did it. No, that was like U unbearable. Yeah,
- 3:13Speaker 5: but that was the coldest thing I've ever been mm hmm,
- 3:17Speaker 5: fee were frozen.
- 3:18Speaker 3: This won't be warm.
- 3:20Speaker 6: What about gloves? Do I need gloves?
- 3:22Speaker 5: Occasionally? You can throw on some finger list gloves if
- 3:24Speaker 5: you're if you're really about that action.
- 3:27Speaker 6: What about all the camera guys, Like everybody's going to
- 3:29Speaker 6: be like all of our producers are also going to
- 3:31Speaker 6: be in the river with us.
- 3:32Speaker 5: They're gonna have to figure that out.
- 3:34Speaker 3: They're gonna go across to the other bank they can
- 3:37Speaker 3: fight for the Confederates.
- 3:38Speaker 5: Yeah, across the gap.
- 3:42Speaker 6: How what's this river like fast?
- 3:46Speaker 5: Really, it's like the Hudson.
- 3:54Speaker 3: It's definitely got some some tug on it.
- 3:57Speaker 5: I'm excited, but scared it's not gonna be like it
- 4:00Speaker 5: won't be There's no like risk involved.
- 4:03Speaker 6: I'm just scared to be spending that that time. Like
- 4:06Speaker 6: I feel like we've talked about this so much that
- 4:08Speaker 6: like I wanted to live up to my very very
- 4:10Speaker 6: very very very high expectation.
- 4:12Speaker 3: I think the real treasury of time, the real wonderful moment,
- 4:17Speaker 3: will be once the work is done. Yeah, and then
- 4:20Speaker 3: we can set aside our cameras and are affected personalities.
- 4:27Speaker 6: And be ourselves, be who we truly are.
- 4:32Speaker 5: I hope we catch a fish. I think if we
- 4:36Speaker 5: like that. When we talked to that dude last time,
- 4:38Speaker 5: he said that there's big brown trout in there.
- 4:40Speaker 3: Big browns.
- 4:41Speaker 5: So we'll see this this time of year, all year round. Okay, Yeah,
- 4:46Speaker 5: brown trout don't move.
- 4:48Speaker 3: Yeah, they stay local. Jim Brown's up there. Yeah, they
- 4:53Speaker 3: they are probably a little sleepier.
- 4:56Speaker 5: It might be a little sleepy. But actually no, I
- 4:58Speaker 5: think it's November and some people would say this is
- 5:02Speaker 5: peak fly fishing.
- 5:03Speaker 3: Come on, really, wow, I don't know how you think
- 5:08Speaker 3: about this. I don't really see this as a competition,
- 5:12Speaker 3: not at all, because I'm going to need your help.
- 5:13Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't see it as competition.
- 5:15Speaker 3: I will fully admit that you are vastly superior fisher angler.
- 5:20Speaker 5: To me, Well, I think the only thing is I
- 5:22Speaker 5: just know how to tie on the fly.
- 5:23Speaker 3: You're going to fish?
- 5:24Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm like here to learn.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Good, good good.
- 5:27Speaker 5: Maybe we bring a spin rod out there. That might
- 5:30Speaker 5: not be the worst idea. Why for my dumb ass,
- 5:33Speaker 5: it's kind of yeah, yeah, why don't we get the
- 5:38Speaker 5: gutters up in the bowling ring in the river and
- 5:42Speaker 5: have them out there with a rake.
- 5:43Speaker 6: Yeah, can I have a gun to shoot the fish?
- 5:45Speaker 3: Just walk out and just break them into a bucket.
- 5:47Speaker 6: Jesus Christ, dude, I want to do it. I want
- 5:50Speaker 6: to do it the big boy way. I'm not trying
- 5:51Speaker 6: to do it in.
- 5:51Speaker 3: The spin rod would be you would so disrespect I.
- 5:57Speaker 5: Think just having one on deck, yes, in case you
- 5:59Speaker 5: use it, then there's a chance I might. If it's
- 6:03Speaker 5: if it's tough fishing, you know, bringing the spin rot,
- 6:06Speaker 5: throw a weighted treble hook on there and just snag
- 6:08Speaker 5: the fish out of the water. That's like a way
- 6:11Speaker 5: that people catch salmon.
- 6:13Speaker 3: Fucking no, man, he just throws these terms out there
- 6:15Speaker 3: for all I know. You can be making this up.
- 6:17Speaker 5: No, this is actually hilarious. People that have you ever
- 6:19Speaker 5: seen the videos people like an anchorage fishing for salmon
- 6:21Speaker 5: and there's like seventy of them wind up on the river.
- 6:25Speaker 5: A lot of those guys don't even have like bait
- 6:27Speaker 5: or or like a lure or a fly on. They
- 6:30Speaker 5: just have a super heavy hook and they cast it
- 6:34Speaker 5: and then they just yank it back as hard as
- 6:37Speaker 5: they can and they're just like pulling full salmon out
- 6:41Speaker 5: of the river like by their like gills. It's the
- 6:44Speaker 5: hooks nowhere near it's like the most Yeah, pulling them
- 6:49Speaker 5: in by the spine.
- 6:51Speaker 6: I mean, you are killing them. I'm excited though, I
- 6:55Speaker 6: think it'll be I mean, I'm just really excited to
- 6:57Speaker 6: to see your your abode.
- 6:58Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I'm stoked you guys to come.
- 7:01Speaker 6: Uh will it be invasive to have us film in
- 7:03Speaker 6: your boat?
- 7:04Speaker 5: They'll have to be off limits areas. Yeah, the sauna,
- 7:08Speaker 5: the sauna.
- 7:09Speaker 3: I don't have a sauna, you know. I'm I'm I'm
- 7:12Speaker 3: more than happy to have people see the place. I'm
- 7:14Speaker 3: proud of it. I've done all the decorating pretty much myself.
- 7:19Speaker 6: What's your best decoration?
- 7:20Speaker 3: Well, I had a banquette made.
- 7:23Speaker 5: I don't even know what that is.
- 7:24Speaker 3: It's like a like.
- 7:26Speaker 5: A oh yeah, yeah, your breakfast.
- 7:29Speaker 3: Yeah, my breakfast note, Yeah, I had this. Have I
- 7:32Speaker 3: told you the story of the table.
- 7:33Speaker 5: Of course, I was gonna say we should. That should
- 7:36Speaker 5: be one of our competitions is who can lit who can.
- 7:38Speaker 6: Drag the table.
- 7:39Speaker 3: I'm telling you, if we if we knock this table over,
- 7:42Speaker 3: it would go through to the basement, through the firmament,
- 7:45Speaker 3: it would it would be millions of you have you
- 7:50Speaker 3: have insurance, though, I guess I mean you're talking like
- 7:55Speaker 3: restructuring the entire building.
- 7:58Speaker 5: I would love to see that just goes straight through.
- 8:01Speaker 6: Oh lordie, what about like base what about wall decorations?
- 8:06Speaker 3: Well, I am a little voting in that I have.
- 8:09Speaker 3: I have a cool painting from Maine that I'm very
- 8:12Speaker 3: fond of. It's called End of Day and it is
- 8:16Speaker 3: a fish lobster boat that is pulling in the traps
- 8:20Speaker 3: and there's a beautiful dog sitting on the back. And
- 8:23Speaker 3: it's by a main painter whose name I don't know,
- 8:26Speaker 3: but that is something I'm very fond of.
- 8:29Speaker 6: Maybe we could go shopping at an art bazaar and
- 8:32Speaker 6: get you something for the walls, if.
- 8:33Speaker 3: It would make me happier than to allocate twenty thousand
- 8:37Speaker 3: dollars for a piece of art that I get to keep.
- 8:40Speaker 6: On time of a boy Dad.
- 8:41Speaker 5: Yeah, on the zap.
- 8:42Speaker 3: Of yea, I'll store it up there for safe keeping
- 8:46Speaker 3: because we don't have any more room on our walls.
- 8:49Speaker 6: Yeah, it does look like they were fresh out. Or
- 8:52Speaker 6: you could put that ticket stub up there if you
- 8:55Speaker 6: want that, that one rare ticket stub onto your wall.
- 8:58Speaker 6: But I think it's just going to be that we've
- 9:00Speaker 6: been talking about this, I mean, the boys trip is
- 9:02Speaker 6: making it out of the group chat.
- 9:04Speaker 5: So well, yeah, I suppose that we got to wait
- 9:06Speaker 5: till Wednesday to see if it actually makes it out
- 9:08Speaker 5: of the green, if you boys recover properly from your illness.
- 9:11Speaker 6: Yeah, I got the illness spending chance.
- 9:13Speaker 5: You guys wake up tomorrow and you're like, no, this
- 9:16Speaker 5: is the this is like the back end of it.
- 9:18Speaker 3: We'll see how.
- 9:20Speaker 5: Could that even be possible? You got it yesterday?
- 9:23Speaker 6: No, I've been feeling it badly and then it got worse.
- 9:26Speaker 6: I spent time with Sat. I spent over an hour
- 9:30Speaker 6: with him off camera, which is which.
- 9:32Speaker 3: Is your guys went to it? Yeah, that was two
- 9:36Speaker 3: I'm I want to hear all about it. Yeah.
- 9:38Speaker 5: It was fun, it was It was cool, fucking awesome.
- 9:41Speaker 5: It was cool.
- 9:42Speaker 6: Well. I spent time with Sash before beforehand, though, and
- 9:44Speaker 6: we just like sat and talked and it's just I
- 9:46Speaker 6: feel like it's just like everything you ever wanted to do.
- 9:50Speaker 6: You're like basically likened to knee talking to each other
- 9:53Speaker 6: where we where.
- 9:55Speaker 5: We were at it. We went to a bar for
- 9:56Speaker 5: maybe three minutes before we went over to this year
- 9:59Speaker 5: it was was amazing, you guys, pre No, it was
- 10:02Speaker 5: like one of those ones where he had to get
- 10:04Speaker 5: the check as he got his drink. We were there
- 10:07Speaker 5: for five minutes.
- 10:08Speaker 6: It was amazing. He was telling me intimate secrets of
- 10:11Speaker 6: his life.
- 10:11Speaker 3: I believe it.
- 10:13Speaker 6: And then we got to SNL and the fucking the
- 10:15Speaker 6: chatter continued.
- 10:17Speaker 3: Brother, listen, I'll tell you what I struggled. I struggled
- 10:23Speaker 3: with this. Can I read you? I'll protect a little
- 10:29Speaker 3: bit of Harry, but.
- 10:30Speaker 5: I okay, I actually am curious.
- 10:32Speaker 6: I'm going to read you theous about what what you said.
- 10:35Speaker 5: I am curious to see your opinion on this.
- 10:37Speaker 3: I'm going to read you the text exchange that I
- 10:39Speaker 3: had with Harry and and I want to see how
- 10:41Speaker 3: you won't. I won't even preface it, Okay, I'm just
- 10:44Speaker 3: going to read it to you, and I want you
- 10:46Speaker 3: to tell me what you think. On Saturday at four
- 10:51Speaker 3: thirty eight pm, this is okay, and this is bad.
- 10:56Speaker 5: This is not good.
- 10:57Speaker 3: I go, Would you go to the s and after
- 11:00Speaker 3: party tonight? He goes, I don't think so. It doesn't
- 11:05Speaker 3: start until like two am. I went last time. It
- 11:08Speaker 3: was cool, but it's a late night. I go, I
- 11:11Speaker 3: can't do it, and he goes, who's hosting? And I go,
- 11:15Speaker 3: I feel bad. I don't know. I go, I feel bad.
- 11:18Speaker 3: Shane asked me to come, and I don't like to
- 11:20Speaker 3: not do anything he asks me to do. But I'm
- 11:23Speaker 3: not really a two am party guy. And then I'll
- 11:26Speaker 3: skip a few things that you said here.
- 11:29Speaker 5: But basically, well, then we were just chopping it up.
- 11:32Speaker 3: He said he's been to some SNL after parties. They're
- 11:35Speaker 3: late and they make it hard to watch ball on Sunday.
- 11:40Speaker 3: It ruins the whole day. And I go, ha ha ha, yeah, good,
- 11:44Speaker 3: I needed to hear it. And he goes, did he
- 11:47Speaker 3: ask you to go to the show or.
- 11:49Speaker 5: Well, there was a time gap there, No, it's about
- 11:52Speaker 5: thirty minutes. You think I haven't review reviewed the tape.
- 11:56Speaker 3: You knew so you knew.
- 11:59Speaker 5: Yeah, that's why texting you, but but you knew this
- 12:02Speaker 5: was coming. Oh, I explain it in the text, all right.
- 12:07Speaker 3: He's right, I said needed to hear it, and then yeah,
- 12:09Speaker 3: thirty minutes goes by. I don't know why that matters,
- 12:13Speaker 3: and he goes, it's such a it's such a small
- 12:15Speaker 3: break that there's no like, there's no there's the ya
- 12:18Speaker 3: there is Did he ask you to go to the
- 12:20Speaker 3: show or the party? I go the party. If it
- 12:23Speaker 3: were the show, i'd go. I go, I drive back
- 12:29Speaker 3: for that. It's so hard to.
- 12:32Speaker 5: Get well, that is not how I was reading it
- 12:37Speaker 5: in my head.
- 12:37Speaker 3: That's how I wrote it. And then he goes He
- 12:41Speaker 3: texted asking if I want to go to the rehearsal.
- 12:44Speaker 3: I go, wow, Oh that is that. This is what
- 12:49Speaker 3: being a good friend is.
- 12:51Speaker 5: And then but I had a good friend text.
- 12:52Speaker 3: Hold on, He goes, word, I just wanted to make
- 12:55Speaker 3: sure that's not what you were asking me about earlier.
- 12:58Speaker 3: And I was like, nah, fuck that, don't go. And
- 13:00Speaker 3: then I go lo ol, all right, this is an
- 13:03Speaker 3: incredibly important message because his heart is in the right place.
- 13:10Speaker 3: He's also aware of the breach of friendship that would
- 13:15Speaker 3: come from him dissuading me from going to Essen, coming
- 13:20Speaker 3: back into the city to go to this SNL thing,
- 13:23Speaker 3: only for him to then go right, he's aware of.
- 13:26Speaker 6: The evil that is Lace. That's why I was text that, yeah,
- 13:32Speaker 6: bull working against.
- 13:33Speaker 5: The evil No, because I was like, I could see
- 13:36Speaker 5: how this could appear.
- 13:37Speaker 3: I go no, No, I got invited to the after party.
- 13:41Speaker 3: Uh that's what he told me to come to. I go,
- 13:44Speaker 3: the rehearsal is way cooler, you should go, and I go.
- 13:48Speaker 3: He goes, yeah, I think I'm gonna go. I think
- 13:51Speaker 3: I'm gonna go. I said yes, And it's been silent
- 13:53Speaker 3: since who knows? And then I go, do you have
- 13:55Speaker 3: his assistance since he wasn't getting feedback, I go, do
- 13:59Speaker 3: you have his assistance number? She's the one to talk to.
- 14:02Speaker 3: And then I sent him her contact INFOLO. I'm now
- 14:06Speaker 3: trying to facilitate and ensure my friend Harry.
- 14:10Speaker 5: I might have not reviewed the tapes to this point.
- 14:12Speaker 3: That my friend Harry has nothing that could thwart this one.
- 14:19Speaker 5: At this point, I was on the biggest Call of
- 14:22Speaker 5: Duty show.
- 14:22Speaker 3: No wait, wait, wait, don't don't bear the lead. After
- 14:26Speaker 3: I send the assistant number, he goes, I can't go. Lol,
- 14:30Speaker 3: Literally the worst possible timing. I go, ah shows, he goes,
- 14:36Speaker 3: worse Call of Duty podcast with these dudes who are massive,
- 14:43Speaker 3: and it ends at six forty five and the SNL
- 14:46Speaker 3: rehearsal you have to get there at six forty five lol,
- 14:49Speaker 3: And it's live and they already promote, so I can't
- 14:52Speaker 3: move it. But he said he'll see if he can
- 14:54Speaker 3: get me into the real one. If not, all good,
- 14:56Speaker 3: I'm just happy to be considered ha ha, I go
- 14:59Speaker 3: unreal enjoy. And then two hours later, I'm going to the.
- 15:04Speaker 5: Show, and I said, and I finished reading, he said.
- 15:10Speaker 3: I'm going to the show. Yeah, I don't think I'm
- 15:13Speaker 3: going to go to the after parties still, but if
- 15:15Speaker 3: you were on the fence about it, i'd go. It's
- 15:17Speaker 3: now eight forty five, Yeah, I know, I mean six
- 15:22Speaker 3: hours I've been drinking. I'm two hours away. I can't
- 15:25Speaker 3: drive back. I go. I'm not gonna go. I didn't
- 15:29Speaker 3: get the show, look haha. So basically, Harry, the way
- 15:35Speaker 3: I read this is that Harry was aware of not
- 15:41Speaker 3: wanting to dissuade me from something that he would then
- 15:45Speaker 3: go to, right of course, and he did a good
- 15:48Speaker 3: job of that and and and put that in. And
- 15:51Speaker 3: then I was like, all right, yeah, no, I mean
- 15:53Speaker 3: I can't go. And he's like, okay, well, I'm not
- 15:55Speaker 3: going to go to the even cooler thing I got
- 15:58Speaker 3: invited to because I have this commitment. And then two
- 16:02Speaker 3: hours later he's like, not only am I nothing, not
- 16:05Speaker 3: only am I going now, but I'm going to the show.
- 16:11Speaker 3: And then the next thing I hear about this is
- 16:15Speaker 3: Ian Fightance tagging me in a photo of YouTube Shane Miles,
- 16:24Speaker 3: Sellars and Ian financed on the main stage at SNL,
- 16:32Speaker 3: and I'm like, I look, I'm going it's like ten photos.
- 16:34Speaker 3: So I'm like, all right, well, where's the one of me?
- 16:37Speaker 3: And why would I? Why would I be in this?
- 16:41Speaker 3: And there's not a single one of me? And then
- 16:43Speaker 3: we I get a text from Shane in our little
- 16:46Speaker 3: group that's like, uh, great hanging boys. And I thought
- 16:49Speaker 3: he was trolling because I thought you hadn't gone. I
- 16:55Speaker 3: thought you didn't go, and I knew I hadn't gone,
- 16:58Speaker 3: and I thought it was him being sarcastic, being like,
- 17:00Speaker 3: I come to New York and the three of you
- 17:02Speaker 3: won't be able to hang out with me. Yeah.
- 17:03Speaker 6: Come to find well, he was trolling, but in a
- 17:06Speaker 6: different way.
- 17:07Speaker 3: Come to find that Harry pretty much talked me out of.
- 17:11Speaker 6: No, no, no to the thing and the after party,
- 17:16Speaker 6: and I have one more picture to show you.
- 17:18Speaker 3: And you went to the after party too.
- 17:19Speaker 5: I went to the after that question.
- 17:22Speaker 3: That's the answer to that fucking question. You have now
- 17:26Speaker 3: to stand on everything. But it was a scheme it
- 17:31Speaker 3: was not. You exclude me.
- 17:35Speaker 6: Before you say anything else. Look at this picture.
- 17:38Speaker 5: What is it?
- 17:40Speaker 3: Is that him his hand he's shaking.
- 17:42Speaker 6: No, no, no, the other hand, Oh.
- 17:44Speaker 3: My god, is that an alcoholic befery? No?
- 17:48Speaker 5: No, that was that was Actually I was trolling round.
- 17:52Speaker 3: I don't know what to believe.
- 17:53Speaker 5: From you, And no, that was an n A but
- 17:54Speaker 5: it had it was the same beer that everyone else
- 17:56Speaker 5: was drinking. So Rome was like, oh, ship, he let me,
- 17:59Speaker 5: he let me slip.
- 18:00Speaker 3: Off the way I believe anymore? This look, I think
- 18:06Speaker 3: that here, here's the thing. Through that exchange, you can
- 18:11Speaker 3: tell that I am somebody who doesn't, luckily, at this
- 18:15Speaker 3: point in my life suffered too much from fomo. I've
- 18:18Speaker 3: learned ways to combat that, of course, and it comes
- 18:21Speaker 3: really from one is what is what happened? A friend
- 18:26Speaker 3: of mine featured in a great spot on SNL, and
- 18:29Speaker 3: then two of my other friends got to go witness
- 18:31Speaker 3: that and share that experience. The only thing that in
- 18:34Speaker 3: my mind could have made that whole thing better is
- 18:37Speaker 3: if I had been there with you all. I agree,
- 18:38Speaker 3: But short of that, that's ideal. Yeah, that is an
- 18:43Speaker 3: ideal night for my friends that I'm thrilled about.
- 18:47Speaker 6: The only thing that could have made it better for
- 18:50Speaker 6: you is if finance hadn't gone well.
- 18:53Speaker 3: I don't really know why he tagged it, and then
- 18:56Speaker 3: I messaged him and I went, Haha, why did you
- 18:58Speaker 3: tag me in this? And he goes, it was a
- 19:00Speaker 3: joke they were all making, and I wanted to feel
- 19:02Speaker 3: part of the joke, so I did it. And I
- 19:05Speaker 3: was like, did you just say that out loud? Like
- 19:09Speaker 3: you just said exactly the truth behind kind of whatever. Anyway,
- 19:16Speaker 3: but I was I was very happy. I was really
- 19:20Speaker 3: happy that you guys all got to experience this. I
- 19:22Speaker 3: really was. I That is how I feel now at
- 19:26Speaker 3: this point in my life. I like, fundamentally I want
- 19:30Speaker 3: my friends to have good things, good nights, and I've
- 19:34Speaker 3: also learned that, you know, the good nights for which
- 19:37Speaker 3: I am absent will come again. They will, of course.
- 19:41Speaker 6: I think one thing that we're ignoring here is, uh,
- 19:44Speaker 6: there's a great puppeteer at place in all of this,
- 19:48Speaker 6: and that's the guy that gave us all three different
- 19:50Speaker 6: invites to different parts of it, who also might listen
- 19:55Speaker 6: to the show and enjoy if we heads with one another.
- 19:59Speaker 3: You know, I totally misunderstood his invitation to me. I
- 20:04Speaker 3: he he threw it out there, and I kind of
- 20:07Speaker 3: felt like he threw it out and then he was like, actually,
- 20:11Speaker 3: let me check on that, like and that was how
- 20:13Speaker 3: I read it. So I then when he as soon
- 20:16Speaker 3: as he said that, I didn't want him to be
- 20:19Speaker 3: in a weird spot.
- 20:20Speaker 6: He thought he was walking.
- 20:21Speaker 3: It's the day of his big appearance. I don't want
- 20:24Speaker 3: him fucking checking with producers and random people if hey,
- 20:29Speaker 3: can I get one more guy in? I don't want
- 20:30Speaker 3: to be that fucking guy. So I immediately was like,
- 20:33Speaker 3: don't worry about it. You know, uh, well another time whatever,
- 20:37Speaker 3: I'm drinking. I can't even drive anyway.
- 20:39Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 20:39Speaker 3: So then you know, come to find that like he was,
- 20:44Speaker 3: I think you would have been there bummed down a
- 20:47Speaker 3: little bit that I wasn't there. I'm not gonna go
- 20:49Speaker 3: that far, but like, you know.
- 20:51Speaker 5: We talked about you for like half the night.
- 20:53Speaker 6: Probably I don't.
- 20:56Speaker 3: Even know what to say to that, but but my
- 20:59Speaker 3: point is I I was happy for for all of that. Yeah,
- 21:06Speaker 3: that you guys got to do that. Yeah, It's hard
- 21:08Speaker 3: for me to look on our messages Harry and not
- 21:12Speaker 3: wonder what sinister ship.
- 21:16Speaker 5: I literally play literally, I have a screen.
- 21:20Speaker 3: Text message from you at six forty five I'm not going.
- 21:23Speaker 3: I can't go, and then two hours later, not only
- 21:27Speaker 3: am I going, I'm going to the actual show.
- 21:29Speaker 5: Well, in my defense with that after party, in my
- 21:32Speaker 5: defense with that, we didn't I didn't know I was
- 21:34Speaker 5: going to the show until I texted you.
- 21:38Speaker 6: You know who was at the afternollow you this?
- 21:39Speaker 5: See I screenshotted this. What that was you saying needed
- 21:46Speaker 5: to hear it? And then him saying you want to
- 21:47Speaker 5: go to SNL right after?
- 21:49Speaker 3: So I was like, yeah, whatever, it's a tough it's
- 21:52Speaker 3: a tough spot. You know. I think that if the
- 21:57Speaker 3: roles were reversed, Knowing you as I do, my guess
- 22:00Speaker 3: would be that if you found out at eight forty
- 22:03Speaker 3: five that I was going to the taping of SNL,
- 22:06Speaker 3: you would have called the security of the stuards at
- 22:08Speaker 3: thirty Rock issued a bomb threat so that the show
- 22:11Speaker 3: could not happen because you can't have it. God knows, no, no,
- 22:17Speaker 3: not letting anyone else.
- 22:19Speaker 5: I wanted you to do that behavior. We all wanted
- 22:21Speaker 5: you to be there.
- 22:22Speaker 3: See first class.
- 22:25Speaker 5: Wow you never replied to my DM this morning.
- 22:28Speaker 3: Yeah, I was a little mad. I wasn't mad that
- 22:31Speaker 3: I wasn't there. I was. I was mad that I
- 22:35Speaker 3: felt like you. I felt a little bit like you
- 22:39Speaker 3: had done it on per No.
- 22:40Speaker 5: I never would do that.
- 22:42Speaker 6: It's you.
- 22:43Speaker 5: You. Also, you got the call before me.
- 22:46Speaker 3: But that's all separate because, as I said, I totally
- 22:49Speaker 3: misunderstood like I thought I was, you know, trying to
- 22:53Speaker 3: be helpful, but by the way, you know, fucking awesome
- 22:57Speaker 3: with all that joking aside or whatever, mostly serious with
- 23:01Speaker 3: a joke. Uh, tell me about it.
- 23:03Speaker 6: Well, at the after party, Dua Lipa was there and
- 23:07Speaker 6: she was literally like looking around for a man.
- 23:10Speaker 3: She's married.
- 23:11Speaker 5: She was with her husband.
- 23:11Speaker 6: No.
- 23:12Speaker 5: Fuck, that guy's also I think he's like a millionaires
- 23:17Speaker 5: air British.
- 23:18Speaker 3: He's like super handsome. Yeah, his name's Calum, I think, right.
- 23:23Speaker 5: I don't know, but I didn't see her. I never
- 23:24Speaker 5: saw do Alipa.
- 23:25Speaker 6: But in all seriousness at the after party, Sass went
- 23:28Speaker 6: up to Lauren and was like, I'm the next best
- 23:29Speaker 6: decision you'll ever make. Just shook his hand, put his hand.
- 23:33Speaker 3: I did.
- 23:33Speaker 5: I did joke about saying that, but it was cool.
- 23:36Speaker 5: It was cool. The a lot of waiting, a lot
- 23:39Speaker 5: of sitting around.
- 23:41Speaker 6: I don't try, don't try to make it seem like
- 23:43Speaker 6: it was less cool.
- 23:44Speaker 5: No I'm not. I'm giving the rundown of what happened.
- 23:46Speaker 3: That's patronizing.
- 23:47Speaker 5: Yeah, you're like, oh no, it wasn't that fun.
- 23:49Speaker 6: We were rubbing elbows with seth Rogen. It wasn't even
- 23:51Speaker 6: that fun.
- 23:52Speaker 5: That was cool, But we went, we went, We go
- 23:55Speaker 5: to the show shows cool. Well, my favorite part was
- 23:58Speaker 5: just seeing everything be like happening in real time.
- 24:01Speaker 3: Yeah, That's what I've always wanted.
- 24:02Speaker 5: Yeah, Like it was cool watching like they're like they
- 24:05Speaker 5: come out, they do like a song, then they have
- 24:07Speaker 5: like Marcello did, like a warm.
- 24:08Speaker 6: Up act, and then they Marcello vern Marcelo from from
- 24:13Speaker 6: the SNL Show.
- 24:15Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, the one I've always wanted to go to.
- 24:17Speaker 6: The Yeah, it was cool.
- 24:20Speaker 5: It was cool.
- 24:21Speaker 3: I mean, are you guys sitting down on the floor.
- 24:23Speaker 5: No, that's where they put the real fans, like the
- 24:25Speaker 5: diehards and the people that waited a lot, I don't
- 24:27Speaker 5: think so.
- 24:28Speaker 6: We watched it from a sliding door in Lauren's office.
- 24:31Speaker 6: We watched it like at the Blue Jays Stadium. How
- 24:34Speaker 6: the hotel like butts right up against it. In the boxes.
- 24:36Speaker 5: We were like we were in the nose bleeds for sure,
- 24:39Speaker 5: but we in terms of the nosebleed seats, I want
- 24:42Speaker 5: to say we were lucky. There were some people that
- 24:45Speaker 5: straight up must have it must have just been like
- 24:48Speaker 5: if you were listening to ESSNL being filmed. Oh yeah,
- 24:52Speaker 5: like there there there were there's ship hanging from the
- 24:55Speaker 5: ceilings like in here, but it's SNL, So there's cameras
- 24:59Speaker 5: and lights from every like it was right in front
- 25:02Speaker 5: of their faces. Yeah, but uh, that was it was sick.
- 25:05Speaker 5: The muse the band was sick. I actually think that
- 25:07Speaker 5: was the coolest part was the actual SNL band. Yeah,
- 25:11Speaker 5: they'd like do a whole thirty minute performance before the show.
- 25:15Speaker 6: You know, the red haired lady that's behind the saxophone player.
- 25:18Speaker 6: They all hate, the one that never was forced to hate.
- 25:21Speaker 3: To be honest, I haven't looked that closely, the.
- 25:23Speaker 5: One that didn't laugh when Shane did his monologue. And
- 25:25Speaker 5: then people were like find her and kill her.
- 25:30Speaker 6: She's like a sick guitarist and singer. She's like the
- 25:32Speaker 6: lead lead of the band. Yeah, very talented.
- 25:34Speaker 3: Wow that was cool.
- 25:36Speaker 6: Uh And then afterwards we were we were like both
- 25:39Speaker 6: at the after party and we were about to leave
- 25:41Speaker 6: her like should we get out of here? And then
- 25:43Speaker 6: Shane left Lorne and that came up and like hung
- 25:45Speaker 6: out with us. Then Cam Patterson came up. We're talking
- 25:48Speaker 6: to him, and then a magician came up and started
- 25:51Speaker 6: blasting us with magic in like real time. This just
- 25:55Speaker 6: your exact dream. And then he was like going around
- 25:57Speaker 6: being like okay, like say Google a celebrity to Cam
- 26:00Speaker 6: Patterson and he like googles. Someone put his phone away
- 26:03Speaker 6: and then he's like okay, like you let me see
- 26:05Speaker 6: your phone. And then like Seth Rogan came up and
- 26:07Speaker 6: he's like all right, Seth, let me see your phone,
- 26:09Speaker 6: and Seth Rogen's like, oh no, I don't do that.
- 26:13Speaker 3: So the guy was a mental like one.
- 26:14Speaker 6: Oft Yeah, I've seen one of those.
- 26:16Speaker 5: He did some ship though, where it was insane he did.
- 26:19Speaker 5: He did the ship where like he asked Cam Patterson
- 26:22Speaker 5: for like who his celebrity crush was and he had
- 26:24Speaker 5: him like look it up on his phone. It's all.
- 26:27Speaker 5: But the thing that is cool about those guys is
- 26:29Speaker 5: it's all the performance. It's not like the trick. It's
- 26:31Speaker 5: like they're like there was multiple tricks where everyone's like,
- 26:35Speaker 5: this guy's a fucking idiot, like the magician, and then
- 26:38Speaker 5: it all yeah, and it's like, no, obviously he was
- 26:41Speaker 5: never going to be wrong, Like he wasn't gonna walk
- 26:44Speaker 5: into that circle with the idea of him being wrong
- 26:46Speaker 5: in his head.
- 26:47Speaker 3: This guy isn't learning.
- 26:50Speaker 6: He's doing real magic.
- 26:52Speaker 5: It was pretty cool though, because it's like because.
- 26:54Speaker 6: He pulled out the phone and it was his Instagram
- 26:56Speaker 6: bio and it said like I knew you were going
- 26:58Speaker 6: to say Aliyah.
- 27:01Speaker 5: Were going to say and his cam Patterson had on
- 27:04Speaker 5: his phone was his bio on Instagram.
- 27:07Speaker 3: I've had this, Yeah. Did I talk about it on
- 27:10Speaker 3: the pod? No?
- 27:12Speaker 5: I don't think so.
- 27:12Speaker 6: It's infuriating that, uh you know what.
- 27:15Speaker 5: Actually was an oss.
- 27:18Speaker 3: No.
- 27:19Speaker 5: Have you seen that guy?
- 27:20Speaker 3: No, but he's the best. He's the king of it all. Yeah,
- 27:25Speaker 3: he has spawned a genre of magic. There are aspiring mentalists.
- 27:31Speaker 6: That's what this guy was. He was like a party mentalist.
- 27:34Speaker 3: Yeah. Was he like shorter and bald?
- 27:39Speaker 6: No, I've seen that guy though. He did our company
- 27:41Speaker 6: party one.
- 27:41Speaker 3: That guy did my golf member guest.
- 27:44Speaker 5: Oh really yeah, and he did good.
- 27:46Speaker 3: He was unbelievable. He did a thing where He went
- 27:50Speaker 3: around the room and I was like, all right, I
- 27:55Speaker 3: want you to put in to the calculator app on
- 27:58Speaker 3: my phone. I want you to put in your last
- 28:01Speaker 3: four digits of your social or something. And the guy
- 28:04Speaker 3: did and he was like, bye, way, everybody, I want
- 28:06Speaker 3: you pulling out your calculator apps as well. So we
- 28:09Speaker 3: all around the room had our calculator apps open, and
- 28:12Speaker 3: he put what he tells us the number to put in.
- 28:13Speaker 3: Then he's like, all right, somebody, what's your birthday. The
- 28:16Speaker 3: guy's like, blah blah blah. And he's like, okay, put
- 28:18Speaker 3: in you know, four twelve, nineteen eighty two. And then
- 28:22Speaker 3: he's like, blah blah blah, your phone number. Put in
- 28:25Speaker 3: this thing. Put in this. It's like the most random numbers.
- 28:27Speaker 3: And he's like, just to make sure we're all not
- 28:29Speaker 3: I'm not just selecting people I already know. Like you
- 28:33Speaker 3: point at someone else that you want me to ask,
- 28:37Speaker 3: and you can ask any number or something. The guy's like, hey,
- 28:39Speaker 3: give me your fucking whatever last three digits your credit card.
- 28:43Speaker 3: And the guy's like, all right, we're just gonna add
- 28:46Speaker 3: all these numbers and he adds them all together and
- 28:49Speaker 3: he looks and it's like some huge number. It's like whatever,
- 28:52Speaker 3: you know, seven billion, two hundred and whatever something like that,
- 28:59Speaker 3: And he's like, that's kind of a weird number. But
- 29:01Speaker 3: if you look at your time on your phone right now,
- 29:04Speaker 3: isn't it August twenty seventh of twenty twenty five at
- 29:10Speaker 3: eight fifteen pm?
- 29:11Speaker 5: Yeah, and that was the Yeah.
- 29:14Speaker 6: I don't like that.
- 29:15Speaker 3: Well in the absolute.
- 29:16Speaker 5: Fuck, yeah, that's I don't.
- 29:18Speaker 2: I only do.
- 29:19Speaker 3: The timing of the joke to have it land on
- 29:22Speaker 3: the exact minute. I don't know how did all those
- 29:24Speaker 3: numbers add to this?
- 29:26Speaker 5: Do you think in their head are they so confident,
- 29:29Speaker 5: like I've done this so many times, obviously it's gonna work.
- 29:31Speaker 5: Are you think in the back of their head they're like, better, go, okay,
- 29:34Speaker 5: we got we got two seconds to work with here
- 29:37Speaker 5: as what's his number?
- 29:39Speaker 6: What's his credit card?
- 29:40Speaker 5: Like that? Dude, Like, if you're doing your magic to
- 29:43Speaker 5: Chane and Seth Rogan in your head, would you not
- 29:46Speaker 5: be like, dang, I fucking pray this works.
- 29:51Speaker 6: Like what if it they have such a big audience
- 29:54Speaker 6: of people they can tell that I suck. Yeah, imagine
- 29:56Speaker 6: if Seth Rogan puts it in the next movie that
- 29:58Speaker 6: I suck a or he's the inspiration for the dumb magician.
- 30:03Speaker 5: Yeah, the dumb mentalist, the mental retard. Oh god, because
- 30:12Speaker 5: that really is like the only scenarios there are you
- 30:15Speaker 5: look so sick and like a magician, or you look
- 30:19Speaker 5: like the biggest dumbass of all time if it sucks up.
- 30:22Speaker 5: But I've never seen it fuck up, which makes me
- 30:24Speaker 5: believe that card.
- 30:26Speaker 6: Up a little bit. But they always had. They have
- 30:27Speaker 6: weighs out if there is ups like I think they
- 30:30Speaker 6: like tried to or like the one the card was
- 30:33Speaker 6: wrong for Shane or something like that, but it wasn't no,
- 30:37Speaker 6: but then it was under it. Then it was under
- 30:38Speaker 6: his walk.
- 30:38Speaker 5: But that was a part of it.
- 30:39Speaker 6: But he might have did that last second.
- 30:42Speaker 5: It was a part of it. He goes, is this
- 30:43Speaker 5: your card?
- 30:44Speaker 3: No?
- 30:45Speaker 5: And then he goes He's like, oh, but it's this one,
- 30:47Speaker 5: isn't it No? And then we're all like this fucking clown.
- 30:50Speaker 5: And then he goes, oh, is it the one that's
- 30:52Speaker 5: under your watch? And then it's under Shane's watch. Yeah,
- 30:58Speaker 5: I don't think that's a fuck up.
- 31:00Speaker 3: Also doesn't sound so much.
- 31:01Speaker 5: That wasn't met. That was a little different. That was
- 31:04Speaker 5: more slight of hand.
- 31:05Speaker 6: That was a bit of sleight of hand.
- 31:06Speaker 5: But the one where the ones where it's like like
- 31:09Speaker 5: the ones that O's does, where it's like, yeah, open
- 31:12Speaker 5: the envelope and it's got everything that you were thinking
- 31:15Speaker 5: of in your head. I don't know how that's even possible.
- 31:17Speaker 3: He goes and does like a NFL football team in preseason,
- 31:20Speaker 3: Oh yeah, the defensive witchcraft, and they can't be mirror
- 31:25Speaker 3: it anymore. It's like it's like the actual reaction team
- 31:29Speaker 3: goes five hundred. Yeah.
- 31:30Speaker 5: Those videos are awesome. Yeah, watching dudes get like genuinely pissed,
- 31:35Speaker 5: get him out of here.
- 31:36Speaker 6: Why are you like at first you want to like
- 31:40Speaker 6: you want to debunk the guy, like the first time
- 31:42Speaker 6: you see it, and then by like the second time
- 31:44Speaker 6: someone's like that, you're just like, yeah, that's exactly my card,
- 31:46Speaker 6: Like you don't you just want to go along for
- 31:48Speaker 6: the ride. Of course they're going to get it right,
- 31:49Speaker 6: like you want to like make it tough for them
- 31:51Speaker 6: or be like be like clever back.
- 31:54Speaker 3: So while you guys were doing everything, I've always hoped
- 31:57Speaker 3: the dreams of doing yeah.
- 31:59Speaker 6: With all your heroes, don't forget.
- 32:00Speaker 3: Yeah, I was upstate having a quiet weekend, and on
- 32:06Speaker 3: how we actually it was Saturday, they did a major
- 32:09Speaker 3: Halloween procession and they did they put on a like
- 32:14Speaker 3: a haunted walk through the woods. Oh it was deep
- 32:18Speaker 3: in the woods.
- 32:19Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 32:19Speaker 3: You had to drive a golf cart way up the
- 32:21Speaker 3: fucking hill and then you start at the at the
- 32:24Speaker 3: base or whatever. And apparently from like six to eight
- 32:28Speaker 3: pm they had sort of a PG version of this
- 32:31Speaker 3: for kids and stuff, and then from like eight to
- 32:34Speaker 3: nine it was like adults only. Yeah, And I was like,
- 32:39Speaker 3: all right, how bad can it be? You know? And
- 32:41Speaker 3: I went with three guys from the golf staff and
- 32:45Speaker 3: we got up there and there was a woman at
- 32:47Speaker 3: the front and she had like a seven or eight
- 32:51Speaker 3: year old girl with her. I don't know if it
- 32:53Speaker 3: was her daughter or someone. Maybe it was some The
- 32:56Speaker 3: girl was dressed up in a spooky way, probably as
- 33:00Speaker 3: some sort of like part of the act, part of
- 33:04Speaker 3: the thing, but she was out at the front at
- 33:06Speaker 3: this time. And the woman was like giving me us
- 33:10Speaker 3: the instructions and being like all right, I'm gonna give
- 33:13Speaker 3: you guys flashlights and like, you know, if you don't,
- 33:16Speaker 3: if you go in and you don't come out after
- 33:18Speaker 3: a little while, we're gonna send in a search party
- 33:20Speaker 3: after you. And the little girl went what's a search party?
- 33:24Speaker 3: And I go, it's what comes when there's an amber alert?
- 33:27Speaker 3: And she goes, what's an amber alert? And the woman
- 33:30Speaker 3: was like, let's not get it. And the way that
- 33:33Speaker 3: this was so she actually said that, she goes, let's
- 33:39Speaker 3: not get an amber.
- 33:42Speaker 5: That's crazy.
- 33:44Speaker 6: So she's going to have to learn lady.
- 33:46Speaker 3: Yeah, we went in and this thing was fucking terrifying,
- 33:53Speaker 3: absolutely terrifying.
- 33:55Speaker 5: And it's just in the woods.
- 33:56Speaker 3: Yeah there, you know, every forty yards you come upon
- 34:00Speaker 3: a new thing. And the first thing you come upon,
- 34:05Speaker 3: I mean you're like, it's like a little girl in
- 34:10Speaker 3: a swing that's creepy, and she's like, have you seen
- 34:14Speaker 3: my mommy? And you're like no, does anyone knows her?
- 34:24Speaker 3: And she's like me neither. And then like you keep walking,
- 34:28Speaker 3: she gets off the swing and she starts like skipping
- 34:31Speaker 3: behind you at a distance, so you have someone following
- 34:35Speaker 3: you there.
- 34:36Speaker 5: Is it an actual little girl or is it like
- 34:39Speaker 5: it's so creepy.
- 34:40Speaker 3: Then you get then you come across like then they
- 34:42Speaker 3: have like whatever six or seven sort of statues and
- 34:47Speaker 3: you're walking through and of course one of them is
- 34:49Speaker 3: an actual person that's like still, and then as you
- 34:51Speaker 3: get close, it's like ah yeah, you're like whoa. And
- 34:55Speaker 3: then it becomes you know, you walk through these there's
- 35:00Speaker 3: like sheets on either side of you, so you can't
- 35:03Speaker 3: see what's to the left and to the right, and
- 35:06Speaker 3: you're walking through this narrow area and someone on the
- 35:11Speaker 3: other side is like help, help, yeah, you know, and
- 35:15Speaker 3: then like blood splatters against the sheet and then like
- 35:18Speaker 3: a major truck horn honks and scares the ship out
- 35:22Speaker 3: of you. You're just on edge the whole time. Yeah,
- 35:24Speaker 3: And it's like there's a lot of circus theme.
- 35:28Speaker 6: Clown I don't know when became creepy, Carnival.
- 35:32Speaker 3: Became like the pillar of horror.
- 35:35Speaker 6: I don't know, clowns.
- 35:37Speaker 5: Part of John Wayne Gacy, who is John Wayne Gacy
- 35:41Speaker 5: serial killer, but he was a clown.
- 35:44Speaker 3: That's where all that came from. Wise, Yeah, that was
- 35:50Speaker 3: Stephen King in what the eighties or seventies.
- 35:52Speaker 5: They made that Babies that I think that came out
- 35:56Speaker 5: way before John Casey killed anybody.
- 35:59Speaker 3: Carnival and and sort of Carnie and and thing as horror.
- 36:03Speaker 6: I think that there was always part of carnival that
- 36:05Speaker 6: was like fun house mirrors. I think that that kind
- 36:07Speaker 6: of played on people's fear.
- 36:10Speaker 3: Now it seems to be the true driving force more
- 36:14Speaker 3: than you know, say, fucking werewolves are.
- 36:17Speaker 5: Like I think it's just scarier. Like I feel like
- 36:19Speaker 5: it's like seeing like a skeleton isn't really scary anymore, wow,
- 36:24Speaker 5: Because I when I think it's for a skeleton, I
- 36:26Speaker 5: just think of like the animations from like kids horror movies.
- 36:30Speaker 3: There's some rat Yeah, the sort of thin line between
- 36:36Speaker 3: fake laughter and merriment and darkness that works like peanut
- 36:43Speaker 3: butter and jelly. You know.
- 36:45Speaker 6: It's almost like it's like little girls and women that
- 36:48Speaker 6: are like the scary.
- 36:48Speaker 5: Shit now, yeah, in clowns and clowns. Yeah, I don't
- 36:53Speaker 5: think if I think if I was walking through the
- 36:54Speaker 5: woods and I saw an actual skeleton, I'd be like,
- 36:58Speaker 5: you need directions.
- 36:59Speaker 3: But we came upon a guy who he had a
- 37:02Speaker 3: table with a bucket of candy in the front. He
- 37:05Speaker 3: was dressed up. I don't remember what he's part of.
- 37:07Speaker 5: This is still part of the act.
- 37:09Speaker 3: And he goes take a piece, and I was like, actually,
- 37:12Speaker 3: because I'm like him, He's like, take a piece and
- 37:16Speaker 3: I went to grab one, and he had an axe,
- 37:19Speaker 3: a real axe, and he as I grabbed one piece,
- 37:23Speaker 3: he slammed it down a foot from my hand into
- 37:26Speaker 3: the table, splintering the table and go just one scared
- 37:31Speaker 3: the ship.
- 37:32Speaker 5: Out of me. How often do you think those people
- 37:35Speaker 5: fuck up? Just hit someone straight in the hand.
- 37:39Speaker 3: Fuck time to move? Going back to Arizona so hot
- 37:50Speaker 3: even on Halloween. He's fucking costume.
- 37:53Speaker 5: I mean, that's gotta be a thing.
- 37:55Speaker 6: Yeah, it's not like those guys are like insured.
- 37:59Speaker 5: Yeah, top of the end. This is the best act

- 43:52Speaker 3: am stunned at the fact that the people who are
- 43:57Speaker 3: my age, women in particular, continue to take part in.
- 44:04Speaker 6: Halloween because I say, screaming shit.
- 44:06Speaker 3: I'm talking about going out, No, I'm talking dressing up
- 44:09Speaker 3: and going to like adult Halloween parties with these people
- 44:13Speaker 3: don't have kids, so like women who put together a
- 44:17Speaker 3: sexy outfit, and there's a lot of men that do
- 44:20Speaker 3: it too, But like I checked out a Halloween but you.
- 44:25Speaker 6: Can't feed your Instagram the same way they can find
- 44:28Speaker 6: they have to be slutty as hell.
- 44:31Speaker 3: You're right, You're absolutely right. And I tweeted about it,
- 44:34Speaker 3: uh and it really was like my whole feet is like,
- 44:39Speaker 3: you know, adorable families with really funny and cute, coordinated
- 44:44Speaker 3: kids outfits, which I like that. That makes me laugh
- 44:48Speaker 3: and tickles my soul and I like that, and then
- 44:51Speaker 3: all of a sudden it's whore. Yeah. Yeah, just cleavage
- 44:55Speaker 3: that is mashed together with some kind of like force.
- 44:59Speaker 3: You know, still got it, don't forget about me.
- 45:06Speaker 6: There's no subtlety, that's all. I've still got it.
- 45:14Speaker 3: I'm like, I'm like, does this really do it for you? Though?
- 45:17Speaker 3: Because it's so it's just so, it's so theatrical and
- 45:20Speaker 3: so so put on.
- 45:21Speaker 5: I feel like I will say this year felt like
- 45:25Speaker 5: this was the only year on Halloween I didn't do anything.
- 45:27Speaker 5: I was just hanging out of my apartment.
- 45:29Speaker 3: You normally do stuff.
- 45:30Speaker 5: No, No, I say, this was the only year that
- 45:32Speaker 5: I felt like, am I a fucking loser for not
- 45:35Speaker 5: because I think it was because he was on a Friday. Okay,
- 45:38Speaker 5: it was like the city was like everyone he.
- 45:41Speaker 3: Celebrates Halloween on both weekends on either side of.
- 45:46Speaker 6: Hell yeah, in your neighborhoohborhood.
- 45:49Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 45:50Speaker 3: I got out of the fact that this city this
- 45:52Speaker 3: weekend was Halloween and the marathon. Talk about two groups
- 45:58Speaker 3: of people that I want nothing to fucking do with. Dude,
- 46:03Speaker 3: I was.
- 46:04Speaker 5: I was this morning. I went to the deli and
- 46:06Speaker 5: I walked by a pack of people and they all
- 46:08Speaker 5: had the metals. Yeah, guys, put it away.
- 46:11Speaker 3: Worse than the metal. Worse than the metal is the
- 46:14Speaker 3: space blankets and they from a fire.
- 46:20Speaker 5: You're out on the curb like Captain.
- 46:23Speaker 3: You know it started, you know.
- 46:26Speaker 6: Yeah, that's but but the metal shows this.
- 46:29Speaker 3: You paid for this.
- 46:31Speaker 5: You had to enter the lottery to get into this.
- 46:34Speaker 6: The metal the next day, though, is so egregious. It's
- 46:37Speaker 6: for braggage only.
- 46:38Speaker 3: It is.
- 46:39Speaker 5: But I feel like I probably would be rocking it
- 46:40Speaker 5: if I did it.
- 46:41Speaker 6: No, you would not, You're a humble guy.
- 46:44Speaker 5: I feel like just to you know, flash it on
- 46:45Speaker 5: Instagram and then be done. Yeah, and it goes in,
- 46:48Speaker 5: it goes in the safe.
- 46:49Speaker 6: Well, you were nice. I mean I think that that's
- 46:52Speaker 6: a very good observation. And you even reached out. You're like,
- 46:54Speaker 6: this isn't about you, by the way, It's like, dude,
- 46:56Speaker 6: I don't care no matter, but assulted.
- 46:58Speaker 3: I also thought like that is where Lewis Black did
- 47:01Speaker 3: a joke about this where he goes, he goes, if
- 47:04Speaker 3: you're an adult and you're thinking about dressing up for Halloween, don't,
- 47:11Speaker 3: he goes, it's a it's a it's a holiday for children.
- 47:14Speaker 3: And to that end, I will say that when you
- 47:18Speaker 3: have young kids and you know, you do a coordinated
- 47:21Speaker 3: family outfit, I fucking love that. That is that's the
- 47:25Speaker 3: spirit of Halloween. Look at us like you guys thought
- 47:27Speaker 3: about that. You did something cool. It was great. And
- 47:31Speaker 3: I don't I like all the families, especially if it's
- 47:33Speaker 3: like little kids, you know what I mean. I do
- 47:36Speaker 3: think that when you have like eight or nine year
- 47:38Speaker 3: olds who are pretty much almost capable of tricker treating
- 47:42Speaker 3: on their own and you go with them in full.
- 47:45Speaker 6: Costume, that's a little attention seeking to wine. Yeah, that's
- 47:49Speaker 6: a little attention seeking.
- 47:50Speaker 5: I mean, it's gotta suck living in Like growing up
- 47:53Speaker 5: in the city, you probably go tricker treating with your
- 47:55Speaker 5: parents until you're like seventeen.
- 47:57Speaker 6: No, there is a Sheisty's that had no fucking costume
- 48:02Speaker 6: in the city. There are people outside. I went to
- 48:06Speaker 6: Brooklyn Heights to walk around.
- 48:07Speaker 5: That's the that's the mecca pre location.
- 48:11Speaker 6: And the main thing that you go down is this
- 48:13Speaker 6: one road that's completely blocked off and they're like garden place.
- 48:16Speaker 6: Paul Rudd's out there.
- 48:18Speaker 3: They're like.
- 48:20Speaker 6: And Paul Rudd is like sitting outside and it's like, oh,
- 48:22Speaker 6: we gotta go by Paul Rudd's house. And I was
- 48:25Speaker 6: like excited, and then I caught wind of him and
- 48:28Speaker 6: it was like really sad because like there's a huge
- 48:32Speaker 6: line of kids. Other houses don't have this line, and
- 48:36Speaker 6: then right behind it it's a bigger like radius of
- 48:40Speaker 6: parents just taking pictures zooming in on Paul Rudd as
- 48:44Speaker 6: he's given out candy, dressed up as post malone, with
- 48:48Speaker 6: like his head down, just like giving out candy, Like oh,
- 48:51Speaker 6: not a not a shame, but just like have some
- 48:54Speaker 6: fucking decency and like, don't exploit me on the night
- 48:57Speaker 6: I'm trying to do one thing as like a neighborhood guy.
- 48:59Speaker 6: I was like, we're not been going to his house,
- 49:00Speaker 6: like it's too exploitative.
- 49:02Speaker 3: Feel for him. I'm surprised he was there and not
- 49:05Speaker 3: at his place up state which is near my where
- 49:09Speaker 3: you can avoid all of that.
- 49:11Speaker 5: He didn't just leave out.
- 49:13Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, you know, Rogan was there. I mean, that's
- 49:16Speaker 6: his brother.
- 49:16Speaker 5: He was supposed to be, but he was too tuckered
- 49:18Speaker 5: out from trick or treating.
- 49:19Speaker 3: Yeah, I've given out candy and Brooklyn Heights. I lived
- 49:22Speaker 3: with that family there for a year. Yeah, and then
- 49:24Speaker 3: we would go sit on the stoop and give out candy.
- 49:26Speaker 3: And it was really fun, except for the fact that
- 49:30Speaker 3: there are kids, as you put it, like fourteen year olds.
- 49:35Speaker 5: Yeah, who are kids.
- 49:37Speaker 3: They've got like a fucking bandana.
- 49:40Speaker 6: Yeah, one of them has a mask and the rest
- 49:42Speaker 6: of them have.
- 49:42Speaker 3: They take their they take their backpack and they just
- 49:45Speaker 3: turn it around and wear it on the front, open
- 49:48Speaker 3: and they go. They come up in their tricker treat
- 49:50Speaker 3: and it's like, are you your stockpiling to like feed
- 49:54Speaker 3: yourself for the next six months? These kids do laps
- 49:59Speaker 3: and you you get to a point where you're like
- 50:01Speaker 3: I've seen you are, Yeah, and I would say that,
- 50:03Speaker 3: I'd be like, I'm not giving you.
- 50:05Speaker 5: More, not much money to see that.
- 50:08Speaker 3: Not only are you not trying with your costume, not
- 50:12Speaker 3: only are you way too fucking old for this, but
- 50:15Speaker 3: you're you're going for thirds the third time. I fucking you.
- 50:19Speaker 6: Gotta have a different candy ball for them, you know
- 50:21Speaker 6: what I mean. You gotta be giving them There'shy's kiss.
- 50:24Speaker 3: Yeah, here's a piece of candy.
- 50:26Speaker 5: Small races, No, small races are good. True, you don't
- 50:29Speaker 5: want to give those out?
- 50:30Speaker 6: Those are? You got to give them the shitty candy?
- 50:33Speaker 6: What's like the worst candy?
- 50:34Speaker 5: It's like anything with coconut in it.
- 50:36Speaker 6: I used to think that, and I had an Almondjoy
- 50:38Speaker 6: the other day and it was fucking good.
- 50:40Speaker 5: Almond Joy shouldn't even be around.
- 50:43Speaker 6: I used to think that that's a very like thirties candy.
- 50:46Speaker 6: But I tried it and it was pretty fucking good.
- 50:49Speaker 5: I think the best part about Halloween now is just
- 50:52Speaker 5: like I was munching candy all night. No shame.
- 50:54Speaker 3: You feel like you can.
- 50:55Speaker 5: You have to. It's like you're you're a piece of
- 50:57Speaker 5: shit if you don't.
- 50:58Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 50:59Speaker 5: Yeah, Ranchers chocolate.
- 51:02Speaker 6: Aureo, give me that. I don't. I don't want like
- 51:04Speaker 6: fruity candy. I need the chocolate ship on Halloween.
- 51:07Speaker 5: That's see, that's that's I think why I never really
- 51:09Speaker 5: loved Halloween growing up.
- 51:10Speaker 3: Well, the chocolate candy is the protein.
- 51:13Speaker 6: Yeah, vegetables.
- 51:15Speaker 3: It's the others. The vegetables. Yeah, you should have both,
- 51:18Speaker 3: but you don't need to have them on top of
- 51:20Speaker 3: each other.
- 51:21Speaker 5: It does feel that way.
- 51:22Speaker 3: A solid course of mic and ikes and then you
- 51:25Speaker 3: move on to your roast chicken of you know.
- 51:29Speaker 6: Mike and ikes I could get. I could do without.
- 51:32Speaker 3: Oh, I love mic and I and the red mic
- 51:34Speaker 3: and ikes, the pink one.
- 51:35Speaker 5: I think, the green one. The green is my favorite.
- 51:38Speaker 3: Citrus.
- 51:38Speaker 5: Guy, I love a citrus.
- 51:40Speaker 6: What happened to hot Tomali's I feel or a red hot?
- 51:43Speaker 6: What are the red Mica and ikes that were spicy?
- 51:45Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 51:45Speaker 5: Everyone decided that they sucked.
- 51:47Speaker 6: Yeah, I like those.
- 51:49Speaker 3: The government used them to pay your roads.
- 51:52Speaker 5: And we know they didn't sell any of them.
- 51:55Speaker 6: That's what RFK just had an ax to grind against
- 51:57Speaker 6: that ship.
- 51:58Speaker 5: Specifically, I got a.
- 52:00Speaker 6: Pee and do something about my voice for a second.
- 52:02Speaker 5: All right, good luck? Yeah, have fun with that. So
- 52:08Speaker 5: what do you think about Tetris?
- 52:10Speaker 3: Yeah, we could do that.
- 52:11Speaker 5: I think it's a great idea.
- 52:12Speaker 3: Okay.
- 52:13Speaker 5: I started the Tetris movie last night. You've seen it.
- 52:15Speaker 3: Actually, I watched some of it, and I should have
- 52:18Speaker 3: watched more because it was I was enjoying it.
- 52:20Speaker 5: It's like a Yeah, I didn't know how thrilling it
- 52:23Speaker 5: was gonna be.
- 52:23Speaker 3: It's it's pretty good. It's similar. It came out right
- 52:26Speaker 3: around the time of that movie about Blackberries, Yeah, the
- 52:30Speaker 3: BlackBerry Phone, and I watched that instead and thought, I
- 52:33Speaker 3: don't know if I can do another.
- 52:34Speaker 5: You didn't like the BlackBerry movie, No, I liked.
- 52:36Speaker 3: That very much. The movie was after that. I wasn't
- 52:39Speaker 3: in the mood to go back to back tech tech
- 52:42Speaker 3: origin story.
- 52:43Speaker 5: Yeah. I feel that I didn't know it. I didn't
- 52:46Speaker 5: know it started in Russia though. That's pretty sick.
- 52:50Speaker 3: Tetris. Yeah, I forgot about that.
- 52:55Speaker 5: It started in Russia.
- 52:56Speaker 3: With Ron Gone. It's just reminding me how angry I
- 52:59Speaker 3: come with you. He was the buffer.
- 53:01Speaker 5: I don't even know. I feel. I feel like I
- 53:04Speaker 5: tried my best. You did the opposite of everything you said.
- 53:08Speaker 5: I know, I know, but I tried as hard as.
- 53:11Speaker 3: I got you went to the after party.
- 53:14Speaker 5: The after party, I will say, I wasn't there for long.
- 53:16Speaker 3: It doesn't matter.
- 53:17Speaker 5: I had to. It wasn't a choice. The complete Roman
- 53:21Speaker 5: fucking hammered I had to take. I had to make
- 53:22Speaker 5: sure he wasn't gonna be a fool.
- 53:24Speaker 3: Come on, actually yeah, really.
- 53:26Speaker 5: He was standing up during the filming of the show.
- 53:28Speaker 5: They had to be like, sit the fuck down, no way, no, okay,
- 53:34Speaker 5: it was It was killer, Yeah.
- 53:36Speaker 7: He.
- 53:38Speaker 4: Was.
- 53:40Speaker 5: Have you ever seen Round drunk?
- 53:42Speaker 3: Yeah, he's pretty demurror.
- 53:44Speaker 5: He gets drunk.
- 53:45Speaker 3: Yeah, fine, but he's like me, like, you don't really
- 53:49Speaker 3: you don't know. It's not that you don't know necessarily,
- 53:52Speaker 3: but you're not worried about us.
- 53:55Speaker 5: You got to see him when he said when he's
- 53:56Speaker 5: in his peak potential.
- 53:58Speaker 3: You get really drunk, and that you're liability, that's what
- 54:01Speaker 3: he's saying. I was like, you're very demrror in my
- 54:03Speaker 3: in my experience, when.
- 54:04Speaker 6: Was I ever a liability?
- 54:05Speaker 5: Well, you probably don't even remember.
- 54:07Speaker 6: You're talking about the Yankees game where I like joked,
- 54:10Speaker 6: I was like, oh I with my friends, Like, let
- 54:12Speaker 6: me joke with my friends, and then like him even
- 54:15Speaker 6: talking about the Yankees game, KB, I all held it
- 54:18Speaker 6: against me for the rest of my fucking life. Well,
- 54:21Speaker 6: what's which time were you talking about?
- 54:23Speaker 5: We're talking about it.
- 54:23Speaker 3: That's so now.
- 54:24Speaker 5: When they had to remove you from the studio because
- 54:26Speaker 5: you wouldn't stop yelling during the.
- 54:27Speaker 6: Show, I set off a flair during the show.
- 54:33Speaker 3: He tried to say that the only reason that he
- 54:35Speaker 3: went to the after party was to make sure that
- 54:37Speaker 3: you didn't like fucking blow up because you were so drunk,
- 54:40Speaker 3: and I was like, that is not.
- 54:44Speaker 6: At all sads. Is such a scumbag, plastid drunks I am.
- 54:49Speaker 3: I'm the same way. I am someone like that, which
- 54:53Speaker 3: I think it's a superpower you get.
- 54:55Speaker 6: I'm a marathon, a marathon drink and be like pretty.
- 54:59Speaker 3: I can the drunkest that I am. I can be
- 55:02Speaker 3: as drunk as humanly possible for me, which the next
- 55:06Speaker 3: step for me is throwing up. I don't black out,
- 55:08Speaker 3: you just throw up. I just throw up and then
- 55:12Speaker 3: but I will not I won't be like fucking fighting people,
- 55:18Speaker 3: or like breaking shit, or like saying racial slurs or whatever.
- 55:25Speaker 3: You know what I mean.
- 55:25Speaker 6: I say racial slur is just as much sober.
- 55:27Speaker 5: I'm not antagonistic to get drunk.
- 55:30Speaker 3: I'm not emotional. I'm just I'm trying to convince people
- 55:34Speaker 3: I'm not that.
- 55:35Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 55:35Speaker 3: Yeah, and therefore I focus very hard on on my diction. Yeah.
- 55:39Speaker 5: I feel like I used to think I was like that,
- 55:41Speaker 5: and then I realized I wasn't.
- 55:43Speaker 6: Video of yourself.
- 55:44Speaker 5: I was like, no one can even tell when I'm drunk.
- 55:46Speaker 6: And then you saw one case.
- 55:47Speaker 5: Yeah, and I was like, everyone knows when i'm when
- 55:49Speaker 5: I've had one beer.
- 55:50Speaker 3: I think a part of it is is learned.
- 55:53Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 55:53Speaker 3: It's like getting in shape.
- 55:55Speaker 5: Yeah, work out that muscle. It's like drunk driving.
- 55:58Speaker 6: Sure, are we drinking up state?
- 56:02Speaker 3: Yeah? We should? We should do. You don't have to, No,
- 56:04Speaker 3: I of course I will. I would like to.
- 56:07Speaker 6: We could. We could keep it off the we could
- 56:08Speaker 6: put on the leaf if you want.
- 56:10Speaker 3: I have a cocktail I'm dying to try to make,
- 56:12Speaker 3: which comes from Friday, Saturday Sunday in Philadelphia.
- 56:16Speaker 5: And it was at a bar.
- 56:18Speaker 3: It's a restaurant bar, but they have a cocktail there.
- 56:21Speaker 3: I think I've mentioned.
- 56:22Speaker 5: Have we been there? Is that where we went before
- 56:25Speaker 5: the Out of Order show last year?
- 56:27Speaker 3: No? No, no, that place that never brought out your
- 56:29Speaker 3: bring the food. Now, that was not this place. This
- 56:31Speaker 3: place is awesome. And there's a guy, there's a the
- 56:35Speaker 3: lead bartender there invented a cocktail and I think it's
- 56:37Speaker 3: called the Ambassador's Delight, And I DM the restaurant for
- 56:42Speaker 3: the recipe.
- 56:43Speaker 4: Really is there?
- 56:46Speaker 5: Did they give you the full They just.
- 56:47Speaker 3: Gave you the recipe? Well, they they did give me
- 56:49Speaker 3: the recipe, but then they were like, you have to
- 56:51Speaker 3: make a a wine shrub, which requires some work. And
- 56:58Speaker 3: they were like, in order to figure out how he
- 56:59Speaker 3: did as that, you need to buy this cookbook. And
- 57:01Speaker 3: I bought the cookbook really, which is called The Last Call.
- 57:06Speaker 3: It's like, if the bar every a bunch of famous
- 57:08Speaker 3: bartenders around the country, you made one cocktail, what would
- 57:13Speaker 3: they make? And it has his recipe in there?
- 57:16Speaker 5: So what is the drink? What's in it or.
- 57:20Speaker 6: What's the mas? I think it's wine shrub?
- 57:25Speaker 5: Wine Trub?
- 57:26Speaker 6: Isn't that the AT and T lady's real name Melissa
- 57:29Speaker 6: wine Trub? You know who else is that? Snl Flow
- 57:36Speaker 6: from Progressive.
- 57:38Speaker 5: I never saw her either.
- 57:39Speaker 6: Did you hear people talking about it?
- 57:41Speaker 5: I just heard everyone be like that was flowing?
- 57:44Speaker 3: It's rum Kanyak mulled wine shrub a verna uh and
- 57:51Speaker 3: then Haben euro tincture.
- 57:53Speaker 5: M Haben neuro tincture. Is that is there alcohol that
- 57:57Speaker 5: or don't worry? True, I feel like we can make
- 58:01Speaker 5: a non alcoholic.
- 58:01Speaker 3: I don't want to include you in my life anymore. Actually,
- 58:05Speaker 3: I actually had this thought. I was I was driving
- 58:07Speaker 3: in today and I was I was like, just fucking
- 58:09Speaker 3: pissed off at the world, and I was I thought
- 58:13Speaker 3: about it. I actually thought about this. I was like,
- 58:17Speaker 3: I don't really think I want to try to be
- 58:19Speaker 3: a good person anymore. Yeah, I think that it has
- 58:23Speaker 3: become abundantly clear to me. And by the way, I'm
- 58:26Speaker 3: not even saying I'm a good person. I'm going to try,
- 58:30Speaker 3: but I just don't think there's any benefit to it anymore.
- 58:35Speaker 3: I've learned from your example that, you know, just living
- 58:40Speaker 3: with complete self interest and just whatever I want to do,
- 58:46Speaker 3: whatever makes me happy, and that is what I want
- 58:49Speaker 3: to do. There's no you're doing better than I am,
- 58:53Speaker 3: because what I lose by being concerned about other people's feelings,
- 58:58Speaker 3: which was motion, is a waste a fucking time.
- 59:01Speaker 5: Clearly, I don't think that's true.
- 59:03Speaker 3: You're doing just as well you're more liked than I am.
- 59:06Speaker 3: Your probably and you are a fucking asshole. No, I'm not.
- 59:12Speaker 6: I'm not.
- 59:13Speaker 5: And I also do care about other people.
- 59:16Speaker 3: I don't know. I don't know.
- 59:17Speaker 5: If I didn't, if I didn't care about the S
- 59:19Speaker 5: and L thing, I wouldn't have texted you about it. Yeah,
- 59:22Speaker 5: I would have just gone no.
- 59:23Speaker 6: But what he cared about was the repercussions for him,
- 59:27Speaker 6: no care about other people. He's cared about the blood.
- 59:30Speaker 5: I texted Francis and I said, go, if you go
- 59:32Speaker 5: to the party, I'll go to the party.
- 59:35Speaker 3: Wait a minute, Oh you did say that. Yes, you
- 59:39Speaker 3: said you said, uh, if I don't want to go
- 59:42Speaker 3: to the party, but if you were gonna, I.
- 59:43Speaker 5: Said, If you're still on the fence about going to
- 59:45Speaker 5: the party, all ti.
- 59:46Speaker 3: You did that while you were going to the main event.
- 59:49Speaker 3: That's like being like, I'm going to this wedding that
- 59:51Speaker 3: you're not invited to, but I know that there's a
- 59:54Speaker 3: chance you might get the look for this like late
- 59:56Speaker 3: night bar and nobody else wants to be.
- 59:59Speaker 6: I don't think.
- 1:00:00Speaker 5: No, that's not what we want to go to that.
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: I'll happily meet you after.
- 1:00:03Speaker 5: No, that's not the thing, the most fun thing after,
- 1:00:07Speaker 5: you know, the thing, I would say, the scraps of
- 1:00:09Speaker 5: the evening with. I would argue that after it was
- 1:00:11Speaker 5: more fun than present.
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: Don't buy that you said you only stayed for a minute.
- 1:00:14Speaker 5: A couple of minutes.
- 1:00:15Speaker 6: He stayed longer than a minute.
- 1:00:17Speaker 5: I believe that I had to make sure Roan was
- 1:00:19Speaker 5: going to get home.
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: I'm going to drown you.
- 1:00:22Speaker 5: We had a family to look after.
- 1:00:24Speaker 3: You better fucking work on your lung capacity.
- 1:00:27Speaker 5: Well, you guys better learn how to tie a clinch
- 1:00:28Speaker 5: knot because I'm not tying a single one on them?
- 1:00:30Speaker 5: What were you?
- 1:00:33Speaker 6: What did I do?
- 1:00:34Speaker 5: Yeah, you're on his ship list too.
- 1:00:35Speaker 6: What are you talking about? I stayed late with you,
- 1:00:38Speaker 6: smoked that joint on the way in with you, smoked
- 1:00:40Speaker 6: the joint before s.
- 1:00:41Speaker 5: And no, there was no joint smoked. Not a single
- 1:00:44Speaker 5: joint was smoked.
- 1:00:47Speaker 6: There was even to smoke a joint on the way in, almost.
- 1:00:50Speaker 5: Smoking cigarette butts that he picked up off the ground,
- 1:00:53Speaker 5: and he was like, dude, this weed is so strong.
- 1:00:55Speaker 6: I was splitting them open cigarette butts that were laying
- 1:00:59Speaker 6: around delicious. Oh man, we could have used the guy
- 1:01:04Speaker 6: like you. But Francis, if you had said yes, I
- 1:01:06Speaker 6: probably wouldn't have even got the invite. Honestly, that's very
- 1:01:08Speaker 6: that's that's so, that's exactly true.
- 1:01:10Speaker 3: That's I don't think that's what's.
- 1:01:12Speaker 6: Exactly true because I didn't even get they get to
- 1:01:14Speaker 6: look until after the fact. So you're altruism of saying no, no,
- 1:01:18Speaker 6: don't go let him, let him get on the life raft.
- 1:01:22Speaker 6: I'll go down with the ship. Yeah, you float away
- 1:01:24Speaker 6: and fucking tell a story with Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate
- 1:01:27Speaker 6: Winsley years later. That's what you wanted of me.
- 1:01:31Speaker 5: Yeah, maybe when you go, they'll be like maybe, like
- 1:01:33Speaker 5: Sabrina Carpenter will be hosting.
- 1:01:35Speaker 6: Great, but you don't like her.
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: All the fucking make out with her.
- 1:01:39Speaker 6: No, you think she's a fast round happen?
- 1:01:41Speaker 5: Oh yeah, I forgot. You don't like Sabrina Carpenter just.
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: Grab her ball her face like like I'm inflating up there.
- 1:01:50Speaker 5: That's crazy. We don't do Sabrina slander on this show.
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: That's where I crossed. I've come around on her.
- 1:01:57Speaker 5: I'm an all allow her now. I love I love Sabrina.
- 1:02:02Speaker 6: She's cool, she's got some, she's got speisty, she's very sexual.
- 1:02:06Speaker 6: I know, I like that, But do you think she
- 1:02:08Speaker 6: put lays it on thick too? Thick though?
- 1:02:10Speaker 5: I think it's just her style.
- 1:02:12Speaker 6: Do you think that she's just trying to fight against
- 1:02:14Speaker 6: the Disney the Disney inflication of herself.
- 1:02:16Speaker 5: Probably? That's where I knew her from, was Disney.
- 1:02:19Speaker 6: I knew Hillary Duff from Disney. Of course you know
- 1:02:22Speaker 6: who Hillary Duff is.
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: Yeah. I bet they named a bar and the Simpsons
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: after her, The Buff Bar.
- 1:02:29Speaker 6: Yeah, the whole beer brand, the beer.
- 1:02:31Speaker 5: What is the beer they drank?
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: Duff?
- 1:02:34Speaker 5: I said, Buff really matter credit?
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: I got it wrong too, I said the bar.
- 1:02:39Speaker 6: It's not the bar, the bar which they named after Mo,
- 1:02:43Speaker 6: the bartender. Of course, how would he even be able
- 1:02:46Speaker 6: to afford that as a bartender? How does Mo afford
- 1:02:51Speaker 6: owning the bar?
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: That's a good question.
- 1:02:53Speaker 6: I guess there's bad overhead on bars.
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: Probably had some investors. Everyone likes here.
- 1:02:58Speaker 5: Yeah, we employee.
- 1:03:00Speaker 6: If we got a bunch of money as a show
- 1:03:02Speaker 6: and we had to like have a spinoff brand or
- 1:03:05Speaker 6: like open a spinoff brick and mortar, what would you
- 1:03:08Speaker 6: guys hope to open.
- 1:03:09Speaker 3: Well, let's put it this way, if we opened a bar,
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: I hate to say it. I do think we should
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: call it Harry's because Harry's will be a famous Harry's bar, probably.
- 1:03:19Speaker 6: Right across the street, Harry Saloon.
- 1:03:22Speaker 5: There, Harry's Bar, directly across the street.
- 1:03:25Speaker 3: You think there's a Triple Crown something and maybe it's
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: in Fine Eye Harry's Bar, Harry Over Square. Yeah, it
- 1:03:33Speaker 3: is in Hide Eye and it's a restaurant and it's
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: an old steakhouse. I've been there and it's fantastic. I
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: would say we should go, but I'm not really friends
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: with Harry anymore.
- 1:03:42Speaker 6: I'd love to go with you.
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: Something we can do that we can all three do it,
- 1:03:45Speaker 3: bring my kids, plenty of ambient noise.
- 1:03:48Speaker 5: I would go to Harry's. I would also go to
- 1:03:50Speaker 5: Mustang Harry's, which is just two blocks away. That place is, yeah,
- 1:03:53Speaker 5: I've never been, to be honest. More of a Triple Crown.
- 1:03:56Speaker 6: Guy, Triple Crown clothes bro they did dumb ass. Maybe
- 1:04:02Speaker 6: a sandwich shop.
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: We're gonna have a fun time upstate.
- 1:04:06Speaker 6: Oh my god, I have so much weed.
- 1:04:09Speaker 5: I don't I don't smoke weed.
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: Oh my god, do I have weed.
- 1:04:12Speaker 6: I would love to get fried with you guys and
- 1:04:14Speaker 6: watch something scary.
- 1:04:15Speaker 5: You know what I did the other day. I went
- 1:04:17Speaker 5: on Friday morning, I went out and I bought chewing tobacco,
- 1:04:20Speaker 5: and I was like, maybe I'll be a chewing tobacco guy.
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: Dip dip. You bought dip long cut?
- 1:04:26Speaker 6: What?
- 1:04:26Speaker 3: Yeah, part of a halloween costume.
- 1:04:29Speaker 5: Now, it's just my halloween. That was my celebration. That's
- 1:04:32Speaker 5: that fuck lip for maybe thirty seconds. Then I spit
- 1:04:35Speaker 5: it out and threw away the entire can. Yeah.
- 1:04:37Speaker 6: Wait, but lip long cuts different from chewing tobacco.
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: No, that's what that caw.
- 1:04:45Speaker 5: Yeah, long cut long cuts just the pinch.
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: Yeah, but I I put long cut skull under the
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: family of chewing TOBACCOA yeah, and maybe that's wrong.
- 1:04:56Speaker 5: But I just associated with if you swallow it, you'll
- 1:04:59Speaker 5: throw up.
- 1:04:59Speaker 3: Didn't call everybody I knew that. I don't know. I
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: wonder how popular dip still is because now the pouches
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: or the pouches of tea. Yeah, but in our time,
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: in my time, not your time.
- 1:05:15Speaker 5: No, I've done chewing tobacco. Everyone did chewing tobacco when
- 1:05:18Speaker 5: I was growing up.
- 1:05:19Speaker 6: Really, yeah, when did you grow up In the eighteen hundreds,
- 1:05:23Speaker 6: my friends, my friends.
- 1:05:24Speaker 5: Were doing chewing tobacco when we were like twelve, is
- 1:05:26Speaker 5: just like your nine to eleven bit. No, I swear
- 1:05:29Speaker 5: to God, came.
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: Out of the womb.
- 1:05:32Speaker 5: We did that. We did the we used to do
- 1:05:34Speaker 5: the actual, the long cut pouches.
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: I remember being extremely buzzed from a very young age.
- 1:05:40Speaker 5: I remember I remember doing chewing tobacco with braces and
- 1:05:45Speaker 5: it was and it was long cut, and it's same
- 1:05:50Speaker 5: thing I would do. I always said the same thing.
- 1:05:52Speaker 5: I put in for thirty seconds and spit it out.
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: The players made it so cool. That's where we everybody.
- 1:05:57Speaker 5: That's everyone I was friends who played hockey.
- 1:05:59Speaker 6: Yeah, you just spin it on the ice.
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: I don't know, you say everyone you, I'm going to
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: give you more credit than that you played hockey.
- 1:06:07Speaker 5: But not at this age. Oh, I quit already.
- 1:06:10Speaker 3: All the hockey players did. And when I got to college,
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: some of the lacrosse players would. And sometimes when I
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: got really drunk, just to see how far we could
- 1:06:20Speaker 3: send it, I'd throw a lip in.
- 1:06:21Speaker 5: But then that's immediate.
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: Hell, No, it was fine when I was drunk. When
- 1:06:27Speaker 3: I did it sober, it was hell.
- 1:06:30Speaker 5: Really, I'm the total opposite. If I were to throw
- 1:06:32Speaker 5: like I remember the first time I ever did one
- 1:06:34Speaker 5: of the pouches. I was like, it was I was
- 1:06:38Speaker 5: trying to quit vaping and I was drinking at the
- 1:06:40Speaker 5: stand and I put in a pouch. We were like
- 1:06:41Speaker 5: all sitting at a table, and I just got irish. Goodbye.
- 1:06:45Speaker 3: Are you talking like a pouch or like a okay, yeah,
- 1:06:48Speaker 3: because they also have the pouches our school.
- 1:06:50Speaker 5: Yeahah no, this was like a lucy pouch. You got
- 1:06:53Speaker 5: the spins, I got the everything's. I got every symptom.
- 1:06:59Speaker 6: You just figure eight.
- 1:07:00Speaker 5: I had to go straight back. But I didn't even
- 1:07:04Speaker 5: know I was capable of feeling that anymore, because I've
- 1:07:06Speaker 5: used nicotine for so long.
- 1:07:08Speaker 3: I don't know if I am. I think long cut skulls.
- 1:07:11Speaker 5: I did the long cut.
- 1:07:12Speaker 3: That's why I of a different color? Is that? Is
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: that the saying, oh yeah.
- 1:07:16Speaker 5: That's why I did it. And I didn't feel anything,
- 1:07:18Speaker 5: And then I was like, and it's making me feel shitty.
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: One time we did it, we were driving to Dartmouth
- 1:07:23Speaker 3: and I was with a bunch of older guys on
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: the team, and we drove it was like all back
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: roads to fucking Dartmouth nowhere, and I think we're just
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: going up to like party for the weekend or something,
- 1:07:35Speaker 3: and all the guys in the car through lips in
- 1:07:37Speaker 3: and I just they were like what them.
- 1:07:39Speaker 5: I was like in the car or through the back seat,
- 1:07:43Speaker 5: that you can't go any I feel sick thinking about it.
- 1:07:46Speaker 3: I had to ask us to pull over. Yeah, I
- 1:07:48Speaker 3: had to ask us to pull over so that we
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: could pull over and I could get out and throw
- 1:07:51Speaker 3: up on the side.
- 1:07:51Speaker 5: That's the worst throw up there is.
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: Yeah, it's bad.
- 1:07:55Speaker 5: Nicotine throwing up from any kind of nicotine is the
- 1:07:59Speaker 5: worst throw up. It's like a vicious.
- 1:08:01Speaker 6: See through white. Yeah, imagine if you're sitting in the
- 1:08:04Speaker 6: middle seat.
- 1:08:04Speaker 5: It's literally like you die for ten minutes and then
- 1:08:08Speaker 5: you come back to life immediately. I remember we like
- 1:08:11Speaker 5: like when vaping became a thing. I remember we got
- 1:08:13Speaker 5: like a shitty, small, like refillable vape and we went
- 1:08:18Speaker 5: to mine of my friend's house on like a Friday
- 1:08:20Speaker 5: and we were all hitting it and then it like exploded.
- 1:08:23Speaker 5: It like blew up in Peter's mouth and yeah, and
- 1:08:27Speaker 5: he was laying down in the middle of the woods
- 1:08:30Speaker 5: like like couldn't move or else he would throw up,
- 1:08:34Speaker 5: and we just had to sit in the woods. We
- 1:08:36Speaker 5: were like, I don't even know why we were in
- 1:08:37Speaker 5: the woods, Like we were in the woods, just like
- 1:08:39Speaker 5: fucking around. Yeah, but then it became a thing where
- 1:08:40Speaker 5: we were just like stuck in the woods because if
- 1:08:43Speaker 5: he tried to get up, he would puke.
- 1:08:45Speaker 3: You know, that's something I like about you. We had
- 1:08:47Speaker 3: that in common, we both we fucked around in the woods. Oh,
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: of course, I think we're back. Great.
- 1:08:52Speaker 5: I'm glad that you and me we're back. That's all
- 1:08:56Speaker 5: it took.
- 1:08:57Speaker 6: The goods. Little shared ground, little common ground is so nice.
- 1:09:01Speaker 3: Leaf covered ground.
- 1:09:02Speaker 5: I'm pumped to get in the woods this week.
- 1:09:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:09:05Speaker 5: I haven't been fishing since I was in Wyoming.
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: Listen, I'll just say this right now. If you guys
- 1:09:08Speaker 3: want to extend a couple of days, I don't see
- 1:09:10Speaker 3: any reason we have to come home.
- 1:09:12Speaker 5: Don't you have spot on Thursday?
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: I do.
- 1:09:14Speaker 5: I think that's why we're.
- 1:09:15Speaker 3: Going out right now. Yeah I can. I'm gonna wait
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: to play that card smart.
- 1:09:21Speaker 6: If you played it today, it'd be like, well, you'll
- 1:09:23Speaker 6: be good by Thursday.
- 1:09:24Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, right, wait for those symptoms to fully kick in.
- 1:09:27Speaker 6: Yeah, that's gonna be so nice. What are we gonna
- 1:09:29Speaker 6: do while we're fishing, to get our to get our
- 1:09:31Speaker 6: minds twisted.
- 1:09:32Speaker 5: Probably drink, Oh nothing, you want some long cut that's yeah,
- 1:09:37Speaker 5: that's actually a great time to do it. What should
- 1:09:40Speaker 5: We'll all throw a couple lips in mushrooms. I'd like
- 1:09:44Speaker 5: to just you know, fish, we could.
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: Get you some weeds. You you love weed, We'll get
- 1:09:49Speaker 3: fish automatic.
- 1:09:49Speaker 6: That's automatic. Yeah, that's baseline. That's like, are we gonna
- 1:09:52Speaker 6: be breathing air?
- 1:09:54Speaker 3: Did we eat breakfast this morning?
- 1:09:55Speaker 5: This is gonna be the difference between a twenty eight
- 1:09:56Speaker 5: inch brown trout and no fish?
- 1:09:59Speaker 3: What you don't think you can fish high?
- 1:10:01Speaker 5: You don't even consider lighting and joint until you've already
- 1:10:04Speaker 5: landed a fish.
- 1:10:05Speaker 3: Is that true? Yeah, it's it's one of those sort
- 1:10:07Speaker 3: of what's the word, I'm looking for superstitious things.
- 1:10:12Speaker 5: That's when me and my friends do when we when
- 1:10:14Speaker 5: we we do it with like the we would do
- 1:10:15Speaker 5: it with the jewel. We'd be like, no, it's hitting
- 1:10:17Speaker 5: the jewel until we catch a fish.
- 1:10:18Speaker 3: No, you did have a joints, But I love that
- 1:10:20Speaker 3: you finally admitted.
- 1:10:21Speaker 5: No, my friends don't. My friends don't smoke wheat just
