- 0:00[SPEAKER_01]: Five, six, seven, eight, stars.
- 0:02[SPEAKER_01]: Hallow, stars, stars.
- 0:04[SPEAKER_01]: Hallow.
- 0:05[SPEAKER_01]: Before they were in stars, Hallow.
- 0:08[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, for sure.
- 0:09[SPEAKER_01]: Stars in stars, Hallow.
- 0:11[SPEAKER_01]: All right, here we go.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_01]: Hi everybody, welcome back to Gilmour to say with Terran Haley.
- 0:23[SPEAKER_01]: I'm Terran, this is Haley.
- 0:24[SPEAKER_01]: Hi, Haley.
- 0:25[SPEAKER_01]: Hi, Terran.
- 0:27[SPEAKER_01]: You're very beachy for Gilmour girl season.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_00]: No, but I'm like a terminal beachy.
- 0:32[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I went to, I went to the beach in a very atomno way, not in a summer way.
- 0:36[SPEAKER_00]: You know, okay.
- 0:37[SPEAKER_01]: No, I don't say more than that.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_00]: I don't either, but if I see that, then it doesn't feel like it's a summertime trip.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_00]: It feels like it's a fall trip, even though I am leaving here to put on my bathing suit to go to the beach.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_00]: I just keep seeing that because it's September, and because of now, Gilmour Girls Fall were recording this on September 1, so it's really Gilmour Girls Fall for us now.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_00]: It's not just something we're talking about, so I keep saying I'm doing it in a fall way, but I am in fact at a very beachy room, I even think behind me it says, this way to the beach.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_00]: It does, and it just is pointing at your head.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it's better to be mentally, yes.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_00]: But you know what, beaches exist in all seasons.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_00]: You know, we just feel like we need to go there in the summer, but we can go there in the fall in the winter.
- 1:18[SPEAKER_00]: You know?
- 1:19[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_01]: Today is September 10th when this episode airs and we're going to be meeting Miss Kelly Bishop tonight to be in conversation with her.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_01]: I can see her little paperback behind her.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_00]: I know I put my queen back here because we met with her publicists.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_00]: I guess it was last so we could get this point and they give us a copy of the paperback and I just she's stunning.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_00]: I'm so excited to give her my needle point pillow that I have been making for her that
- 1:47[SPEAKER_00]: But oh, I know it's going to turn out great.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_00]: I will say the event is completely sold out.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_00]: So excited for everyone who gets to come.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_00]: But if you do not get to come or you live too far from New York, totally understandable, it will be on the podcast next Thursday.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_00]: So you just have to wait a week.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_00]: And then you can hear, see, be there, relive the experience with us on the podcast.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_00]: which I'm so excited to bring to you all.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_00]: So many of you asked about it and I'm glad we were able to make that happen for all of you.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, me too.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_01]: I can't wait.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be really exciting.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_01]: I haven't thought about actually doing it quite yet at this point.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_01]: I'm really recording this.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I have of course, but it's just one of those things where I'm like, it doesn't feel real until it's real.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_00]: I was thinking about us and I kind of like going over like run of show on my head, kind of like what we, because I've been thinking about kind of just like the vibe of what we want to present.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_00]: Which I'll talk about with you.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_00]: I was going to say, I can't wait to hear.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_01]: Also, Tickets are still on sale for our event in Ann Arbor, which happens the first weekend in October for Star's Holiness Saturday.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_01]: Star's Holidays weekend.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_01]: We're very, very excited as we've talked about before.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_01]: We talked about extensively in our episode.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_01]: actually we're recording this on September 1st so two weeks ago it aired today for us as we're recording this all about secret societies just about how excited we are for Ann Arbor and as I was listening back to it because of course I reviewed it for it to go up on on the podcast I was like oh god you guys are selling me on this.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, okay, I'm just my arm.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_00]: I'll go.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_00]: I'll go again now.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm really excited.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be a lot of fun.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_01]: I really hope that we get to see a lot of you there.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_01]: We've already gotten messages from some of you being like, got my tickets.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_01]: And so that is also in the show notes.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_01]: Also, if you guys haven't yet, our fall faves are back at Gilmour to say dot com, www.gilmour to say dot com.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_00]: The essentials, the gazebo, the stamps, the stamps.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_00]: God.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_00]: I just love it.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_01]: I'm biased, but I love it.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_01]: So,
- 3:43[SPEAKER_01]: If you haven't gotten yours yet, go to www.kilmerdisate.com slash shop.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_01]: It'll be linked in our show notes, along with tickets to Ann Arbor.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_01]: And really excited, the Gilmourdeals Falls is just kicking off.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_01]: We have so many things planned.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you'll notice this is a Thursday.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_00]: This is not going up on the Tuesday because we are jam packing September, because we want to, as we say,
- 4:09[SPEAKER_00]: I can't say Gilmore Maxing, which we do say in our, how to have a Gilmore girls fall up a episode.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_00]: That one doesn't work for me because it sounds like Max.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_00]: Max.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_00]: Max Medina.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_00]: Gilmore fall Maxing.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_00]: I'll say anything super good.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_00]: You, the most content possible.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_00]: This Gilmore goes fall.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_01]: I'm excited.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_01]: And the reason that we chose to do this episode today is because in addition to it being fall or like we're walking towards fall, of course, it's not fall officially yet.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_01]: But for us, it's go viral season.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_01]: We're getting into that.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, follows the state of mind.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_01]: We always say that here.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_01]: But it's also Emmy awards season.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_01]: And one of the things that we were thinking about are all of the actors who were guest stars on Gilmore Girls.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_01]: before they were stars and yes after they were stars because I have a couple of those as well.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah because I would say it's even more so that they weren't even guest stars.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_00]: It's in retrospect that their guest stars at the time.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_00]: They were just either extras like day players just one off characters who at the time you were like that is an actor.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_00]: that is a man, but then you look back now 25 years later and you're like, that's John Ham five years before he was done draper.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_00]: So it's like there's kind of a split of like there definitively some of them who are absolutely guest stars who they were stars at the time and now in retrospect we look back on others of them and you're like, whoa, how are you in the show?
- 5:26[SPEAKER_00]: This was the beginning of your career, baby?
- 5:28[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_00]: Truly for some of them, it was the
- 5:33[SPEAKER_01]: So we're going to get into that today, guest stars before they were stars in star's hollow.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_01]: And like I said, some of them after because as I was going through this episode by episode, and of course we asked you guys as well on our Instagram stories like which ones you want to us to talk about today or who were some of your faves.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_01]: They almost feel like little Easter eggs.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_01]: They're like, yeah, there you are.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_01]: There were some that I was like, oh, even though this was a person that like at the time I may not have known who they were because I was so little, I was we, I was uneducated like they were a big deal.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and I'm excited to take it into that.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_00]: But let's go.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_00]: Let's go back back to the beginning.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_01]: So we're going to go chronologically and start with season one.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_01]: And I wanted to ask you before we really dive in.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_01]: Do we want to talk about Chad Michael Murray?
- 6:15[SPEAKER_00]: I did not include Chad Michael Murray because he is like a character.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_00]: He's a huge character, of course, in this show.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_00]: And he was not really anyone when he did this.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_00]: And maybe because he went on to one tree hill and became an even bigger star.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe because I also kind of, why I was like,
- 6:32[SPEAKER_01]: you did in.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, interesting.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_00]: I felt like more so because they had such a big role.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_00]: I think majority of people that I have here had like one scene maybe they were in the duration of the episode and then we didn't really see much from them again.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_00]: But we can include them.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I include Chad Montgomery.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_01]: Chad Montgomery and Adam Brody are two people.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_01]: It is kind of like
- 6:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, moment.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_01]: You know, but I do understand seeing people for like a scene or one episode feels a little more impactful because you're like, oh my god, you were just this day player.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_01]: And now you are well, let's move on to the next one.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_01]: Jane Lynch, you know, yes.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_00]: That's like that to me.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_00]: Well, backing up, I do have in Kill Me Now Alex Borstein, which that felt like a true guest star.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_00]: Like Alex Borstein playing Drelab felt like she was already famous at the time and she came in and she played this role.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_00]: Like that like a true guest star versus like her career had already blossomed.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_00]: She was
- 7:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it was already kicking off for sure.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_01]: Because at this point, family guy, I'm we'll talk about Seth McParlan later, but like, family guy had already happened.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_01]: She was already playing Lois.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_01]: She was on Mad TV.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_01]: She goes on to, of course, be Ms. Anger Meyer in the Lies of McGuire movie for us millennials out there.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_01]: Big deal.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_01]: Um, but yeah, I would agree with that.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_01]: She was already like,
- 7:59[SPEAKER_01]: do in the thing.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_01]: She was already a person.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_01]: And she was already a person.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_00]: And she was already a person.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_00]: No one was people at all.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_00]: No, and also in like retrospect, we see her now, you know, of course, Susie my Susie my son and associates and associates, of course, that we see her now.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_00]: We're like, oh my gosh, look at you, but like she was already.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_00]: But that pretty big deal at the time.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_00]: So that's why I was like, she's kind of on that cost, but I wouldn't call her like a mega star in the same way that some of the other people were.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_00]: And I definitely don't say it I think that this started her career.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_01]: She's kind of on that like fine line.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, for sure.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_01]: I would agree with that.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_01]: But moving into Jane Lynch, she plays a nurse in a scene of forgiveness and subsidies in one episode 10.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_01]: And before Gilmourgle, she had about 25 credits under her belt, you know?
- 8:45[SPEAKER_01]: She like started in the late 80s and then she was, she was in movies like The Fugitive and she did like one episode stints on shows like married with children, empty nest third rock from the sun.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_01]: Morning grandma, so did that as well.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_00]: Third rock from the sun.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_00]: I loved that show.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_01]: Frazier, Caroline, the city, Dharma, and Greg and judging Amy, and then she had her appearance on Gilmour Girls, her little appearance.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_01]: And her big break came, of course, from Glee in 2009.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_01]: She played Sue Sylvester in 121 episodes of Glee, which was, I mean, just so iconic for us, again, a millennial moment.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_01]: If there ever was one, was especially for the theater girls out there,
- 9:26[SPEAKER_00]: That's so interesting that it was like a full nine years after this role.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_01]: And she did a lot in between, like I don't want to discount that.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_01]: She did a lot.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_00]: There's a difference between being an actress and being a star.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_00]: And I feel like she moved into star territory.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_01]: And she was an actress at the time.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, this was just like a one-off.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_00]: I don't even think that she had like a full name.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_00]: I think she was just like nurse.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_00]: She was just nurse and it's so fun to see her there in that role in season one and the early episodes fighting with Emily Gilmore.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_00]: Only for her to fast forward to being a star in an English
- 10:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's crazy.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_01]: And then of course, if you're with us on Patreon, you know that we're talking about her a lot in the Marvelous Isis Mazzle because she plays Sophie Lennon, but I mean, she she had done a lot in between her role on Gilmore Girls, her brief appearance on Gilmore Girls, and Glee, but I really think her big break came from portraying Cecil Fassero.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_01]: That's so.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_01]: Um, but she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2013.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_01]: She has also received a Golden Globe six prime time Emmy Awards and two SAC Awards.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_00]: Because she's a star.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_01]: She has since I did like a where are they now kind of like check in with a lot of them.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_01]: She of course did marvelous Mrs. Measle.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_01]: She did the good fight.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_01]: Do you remember that show?
- 10:55[SPEAKER_00]: The good fight was the like sequel almost to the good wife.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_01]: Good wife.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_00]: With Christine Burranski.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_01]: Love steamed romance.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_01]: She's in the gilded age of a time.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm very love love love love her talk about an icon Measel I mentioned only murders in the building and also she she was in the murders.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah She's in the murders and she's also She's in the murders, but also she is the host and executive producer of the weakest link
- 11:27[SPEAKER_01]: And when I were watching her the other day, it was so funny because he had it on just randomly and I was in the bedroom and I could hear it in the living room and I was like, that Jane Lynch, he was like, she feels very, like, of course Jane Lynch, but like, virgin on social sue so vester in that show.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, if she totally is, if you watch it, you're like, oh, she's definitely channeling her inner sue so vester.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_01]: Because that's what she's best known for.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_00]: Also, it really fits that.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_00]: If it's that role of being those stuff the week's thing,
- 11:55[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, when you have to look someone dead in the eye and tell them that they're the weakest like you were going to hit them on some skies.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 12:02[UNKNOWN]: Good bye.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_01]: But moving through season one, I also wanted to take note of a big appearance that happened in season one episode 13 concert interruptus, which was the Bengals, and I know we talked about the Bengals in the concert, the concert interruptus.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_01]: I know that we talked about the Bengals in our music episode from 2022, which just feels
- 12:24[SPEAKER_01]: So we kind of did a little bit of history on them.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_01]: But I wanted you to know where they were now, because I feel like, you know, it says 1998 to present, because they had like a brief stint where they were brought.
- 12:36[SPEAKER_01]: But they are back together.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't realize this, but last year they released an authorized biography of the Bengals in February of 2025.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_00]: Really?
- 12:44[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my gosh, Laura, like, go more, would be for some line to get that.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_01]: She would want to under that 100%.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_01]: But it says that they're still together.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_01]: I would love to see them reunite.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it doesn't sound like it would be a reunion per se.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_01]: But are reuniting with the public?
- 12:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_01]: Or no.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_00]: Album or something that would be so much fun.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_01]: Love those girls.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_00]: Well, we'll get in touch with them.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, those bankals.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome to, we're going to touch, we'll give you a call.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_01]: The last one I had for season one was someone who was an already established star.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_01]: And that's Mary and Ross.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_01]: Mary and Ross plays tricks and go, oh my gosh, you're so right.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_01]: And she was, you know, that's the thing is that I was like, oh, do we want to talk about people who were already super, super established?
- 13:27[SPEAKER_01]: And Mary and Ross was a huge deal.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_01]: She played Mary and Cunningham on Happy Days from 1934.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_01]: To 1984, she was in 255 episodes, and that does not include other guests appearances she did on spin-offs like Joni and Trachi, and I saw like Marion Cunningham on as I was scrolling through IMDB, but she's best known for that role, and it ran for a really long time.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_01]: She received two prime time Emmy Award nominations for that role.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_01]: But she also appeared in a bunch of things before that, one of which was Sabrina, which reminded me of Miss Selene, which I loved, and she was also in an episode of the Donna Reach Show.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_00]: It's just felt very, like, kiss love, you know, love, love.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_00]: That's also one of those people that, like, when your parents especially when my dad watched it, he goes, wait.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_00]: Because he, of course, watch Happy Days.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_00]: And he was, like, so surprised to see her and go more.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, yeah.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, I feel like she, in a very, like, maybe, like, the reverse of Chad Michael Murray and Adam Brody, in that, is like, she takes a big role.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_00]: And so she is already a star taking on a big role.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_00]: So she doesn't, she feels like maybe more guest star than they do, because they have kind of longstanding roles with.
- 14:36[SPEAKER_00]: You know, with Tristan and of course, David Galsky and maybe Tricks is a little bit more of a featured actor So maybe she's more fits more into that guest our role of like she was a star 100%.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, versus like the reverse of them, which is like they would be stars, but yeah, kind of had consistent roles at that point
- 14:55[SPEAKER_01]: yeah something that you said yesterday when we were talking about like how we would quantify someone on the show was that like if it was a sitcom and if it was today and they appeared would people clap would and I think that if it was a sitcom and if it was the year 2000 or whatever you know I think that one maybe is when she appeared on the show for the first time as tricks a people would have clapped I think people would have clapped you're so right
- 15:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_00]: I love the the clap a meter being the I feel like it's like there's some wrong versions of it of like if the show was airing And there was an audience and the person locked in and they clapped versus like if an audience now was watching it
- 15:36[SPEAKER_00]: and waiting to clap when they saw people that like when they see who's next or like when they see Jane Lynch walk on She wasn't gonna start at the time, but now watching it, we would applaud her even though she has one scene So it's kind of like the would the 2000s audience or the 2026 audience applaud them
- 15:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no, that's so true.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, if it was the 2026 audience, the minute Lauren Graham walked into Luke's everybody would give us a new notion.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_00]: Well, we can't do it for all the characters.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_00]: She's not a guest.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_00]: She is the star.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_00]: Totally.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_00]: She is the star of Hollow.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_00]: Who do you have next?
- 16:11[SPEAKER_00]: Next, I'm known season two, and I have in motherlike daughter, like motherlike daughter.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, what did I say?
- 16:19[SPEAKER_00]: You said motherlike daughter, you just forgot to like, it's okay.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_00]: I forgot to like, like motherlike daughter, Brenda Strong, she plays one of the mothers, Eva, who is on the, what is it the boosters?
- 16:31[SPEAKER_00]: Is that what they call boosters?
- 16:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I picked her because she was in death.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_00]: I picked her, I picked her,
- 16:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_01]: No, she's a big deal.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_01]: I actually didn't include her here.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_01]: I can't believe I forgot about her.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_00]: I was so convinced, it was like, oh, Tara is going to happen to strong, of course.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_01]: No, well, because you know, I'm a huge desperate housewife's fan.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_01]: So, I mean, and that was honestly like one of the biggest things she was known for, was playing Mary Alice Young.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_01]: on desperate swipes like she's so recognizable and it's funny because like if you're familiar with that show, yes she's in the show she kind of kicks off the the inciting incident of that show, but she's mostly the narrator of that show.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_01]: Who voice is so distinct?
- 17:12[SPEAKER_00]: That's like Kristen Bell.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_00]: She's got some girl.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_00]: That vibe there.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_00]: Totally.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_00]: But she's there.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_00]: She's always there.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_00]: I also will say I always get Brenda Strong and Brenda Song confused.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_00]: Well, by name, but if you send the next to each other, obviously, it would be like, it wouldn't be like, it wouldn't be like, it wouldn't be like, it wouldn't be like, it wouldn't be like, it wouldn't be like, it wouldn't be like, it wouldn't be like, it wouldn't be like, it wouldn't be like, it wouldn't be like, it wouldn't be like, it wouldn't be like, it wouldn't be like, it wouldn't be like, it wouldn't be like, it wouldn't be like, it wouldn't be like, it wouldn't be like, it wouldn't be like, it wouldn't be like, it wouldn't be like, it wouldn't be like, it wouldn't be like, it wouldn't be like, it wouldn't be like, it wouldn't be like, it wouldn't be like, it wouldn't be like, it wouldn't be like, it wouldn't be like, it wouldn't be like, it wouldn't be like, it
- 17:44[SPEAKER_01]: Guess so.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_01]: But she was nominated for two Emmy awards for her role as Mary Alice Young in Desperate Housewives.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_01]: Good for her.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_00]: Really.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_00]: Cool.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_00]: And she's done a lot.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_01]: You know, something I keep forgetting is that she was in Twin Peaks, which brings me to my next one, which is Montgomery, who's in who plays Sherry Tenstale in the series, but also arrives for the first time in it should have been Laura Lyon season two.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_01]: And I would say this is also someone like Alex Borstein, who had an established career before she was on Gilmourkrolls.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_01]: And the Paladinos were big Twin Peaks fans.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_00]: Like, yeah, they yeah, they reference it in the revival quite a bit.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_01]: They do.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_01]: But what's interesting is that like because she was widely known for Twin Peaks, and she was also known for a show called CPW, believe it stands for Central Park West.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_01]: and fantasy island.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_01]: And her big break was Shelley Johnson in Twin Peaks.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_01]: I think she had another big break later on in her career, which was Riverdale.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_01]: She hit Alice Cooper in 117 episodes of Riverdale from 2017 to 2023.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_01]: And I like that's also how I know her.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
- 18:50[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that is what I knew her from.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_01]: And then I went back and I was like, wait!
- 18:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's Sherry, that's Sherry, exactly, and I do think that's a big deal.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_01]: But I also speaking of Kristen Bell and Gossip Girl, remember her being in Gossip Girl.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that was actually the other one, was from the Gossip Dutches.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, of course the dutches, you can get it.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's what I remembered her from from Gossip Girl, because I watched Riverdale, but Riverdale went off the rails.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I did.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I didn't stay.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't stay.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_01]: You went off the river rails.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I didn't stick around.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_01]: I watched the first season and then I don't think that I kept, I didn't keep going.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_01]: But I do remember seeing her being like, Cherry, what are you doing here?
- 19:30[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, dearly.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_01]: How generally are you?
- 19:32[SPEAKER_01]: You leave Christopher, thank God.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_01]: Moving on to the end of season two.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_01]: Did you have any before season two episode 21, which is Lorely's graduation day, and Seth MacFarlane?
- 19:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_00]: So I always forget how to pronounce her name, but she plays Kirk's girlfriend.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_01]: I feel my Kirk.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_00]: Mary Lynn Rajska.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_00]: Rajska.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_00]: I believe.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_01]: We talked about her before.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_01]: We talked about her on revisited.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_00]: And I remember also struggling to pronounce her last name.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_01]: Probably something really directed straight forward.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, we're looking at it.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_01]: That's how people feel about my last
- 20:11[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, look, so complicated.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, it's really not on.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_01]: There's so many stones.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_01]: One of my supposed to do that.
- 20:15[SPEAKER_01]: Ah, how do I handle all these else?
- 20:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I do.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_00]: But she's in that episode.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_00]: She's in teach me tonight and I film my Kirk.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_00]: But then she's also one of the troubadores in part names.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_00]: And so I like that she almost is like a star within the show of like, in a film my Kirk and then totally back up as a troubadore.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_00]: I quite like that.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_00]: and then um i'm actually quite surprised that you passed over this one because help wanted we meet carol king who plays a lot of course kill king how could i think about talk of all like stars like like there are some people who like i feel like alex borstine choose a star before this and she's in go more girls there's some people who of course jane lynch who would become a star
- 20:59[SPEAKER_01]: Carol King, star of all stars, to star of all stars.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_00]: If we're getting an applause when she walks on the stage, this is one of the ones where she can't get her first line now.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_01]: She can't get her first line out because they're all like, oh my god, that's their icon, music legend.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_00]: Carol King.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, 100%.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_01]: I always associate her with season three, so I fully forgot to write her name down, which yeah, embarrassing for me because she's one of my favorite.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_01]: It is.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_00]: Satisfly embarrassing for you, actually.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_00]: You didn't get Brenda strong or Carol King.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_00]: Sorry.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_00]: Fired, actually.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, did.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_01]: But I did zero in on Seth MacFarlane because I
- 21:37[SPEAKER_01]: I just think that that's iconic.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_01]: I also love the crossover of Alex Borsstein and Seth MacFarlane, but he is more recognizable by voice, I think, than by look.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_01]: Because he is so big in the animated space, of course he is the writer and creator and voices a lot of the characters on Family Guy and has been doing.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_01]: So since 1999, two present, it's still going, five hundred and eight episodes in counting.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_01]: five hundred and eight episodes and counting and that doesn't include also he's the writer and creator of American dad which is like also still going four hundred and forty six episodes since 2005 he created Ted he created a million ways to die in the west like he it's just like
- 22:20[SPEAKER_01]: Wow, the Cleveland show.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_01]: I mean he's done.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_01]: No, so he's done so much.
- 22:25[SPEAKER_00]: I will say much all of like the adult like animated shows like that I can never watch them because they make me feel really uncomfortable.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I can hear that.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_00]: I like I really struggle with that talented man like Oh, he's so kind of his voice
- 22:39[SPEAKER_00]: insane and I loved it like the crossover of him and Alex being both on Gilmore girls but yeah I've never been able to watch them because you like as a kid you think that you want to watch them because like they're cartoons but then it's like your parents like no no not this one not this one my dear and then as an adult I tried to get into them but I was like oh my gosh I feel uncomfortable
- 23:01[SPEAKER_01]: Totally.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_01]: He is actually credited speaking of his voice in three episodes of Gilmore Girls.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_01]: He's still too.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_01]: He is Zach, of course, in the lower-rise graduation day.
- 23:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, if you guys don't remember, he's the one that hates rich people.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and he's like people.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's like Matt, whoever is filming the graduation and it is a fact to lower-rise mom.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_01]: He is the folk singer, which we realized when we were when we were covering
- 23:29[SPEAKER_01]: Or maybe, you know what?
- 23:31[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if I ever told you about this.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_01]: I think I wrote it down to tell you, and I don't know if I told you.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_01]: The besties at home will know.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_01]: He is the folk singer in die jerk.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_01]: When Rory is at the end, and she's listening to them saying, Michael Roda, bow to shore.
- 23:45[SPEAKER_00]: And she's like at the end of the episode I thought you were talking about the folks in your from season six when they're like throwing stuff out I was like, that's a woman.
- 23:53[SPEAKER_01]: No, it's a woman Brett was the one who goes is that's that part?
- 23:57[SPEAKER_00]: No, we totally talked about it.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_00]: We did talk about it.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so right because I also know that he is the lawyer that Laura like talks to in season Bob Meriman three
- 24:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, yes, that was his third credit that he was pregnant as so yeah, those are the three that he's credited on in Gilmore girls Which I forgot I forgot about the folk singer until I saw it and I was like the folk So we totally say at the same moment where I was like in Season six
- 24:21[SPEAKER_01]: like I was so confused.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_00]: And then I was like, no, no, no, he's Michael Rutherbo to shore.
- 24:25[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm about to put a bit of short.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so it's going to be a name.
- 24:30[SPEAKER_01]: His government name.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm more commonly, like remember him, like if I think of Seth MacFarlane and Gilmore Girls, I think of him as Zach in Lorelyne's graduation day.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_01]: You know, but I love that he came back because Alex Borstein we have to remember we just watch to eight o'clock at the Oasis Which is the next episode But we watched it recently in my house could breakfast turned it on and I forgot that Alex Borstein is not only Drealla She's not only Missileen, but she's also the voice of Dwight's ex-wife in eight o'clock at the Oasis Which he calls me.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_01]: She's like an apple
- 25:04[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my, of course, especially the trivial pursuit, I'm on my board games back.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_01]: It's so funny.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_01]: And I love the way that Amy utilized her and Seth to provide these voice acting credits.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_01]: That otherwise could just be thrown away and not as zeroed in on, but it's just such a fun little Easter egg.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_00]: It is, especially because like watching Measle and like all of the voices that Alex does, like, I don't know, just as the character of Susie, I'm always like, oh my god.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_00]: She's just so good at it because when she most recently she did a Katherine Hepford voice and she fooled the boys and it's because it was quite good it was quite good.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_01]: She's good at it.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_01]: It's true.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_01]: But speaking of eight o'clock at the Oasis.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yes John Hamm I was Peyton Sanders.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_00]: I think that this one of all of them, maybe there's one other actor who I feel this way about, but this one feels the most jarring, because you're like, this is John Hamm.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_00]: Like, this is John Hamm.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_01]: He was fresh.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_01]: His first acting credit was in the year 2000.
- 26:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and this was fresh, no, this was only a couple years later.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_00]: Five years later, he'd go on to be Don Draper in Madman.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_00]: And it just feels like, you're like, what?
- 26:14[SPEAKER_00]: That's done.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_00]: That's on him.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_00]: Like this is one of those like 2026 reverse applause.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_00]: He walks out and you're like, oh my God, it's on my hand.
- 26:23[SPEAKER_01]: It's Don Draper.
- 26:23[SPEAKER_01]: And that event, of course, has that crossover with Alexis Blodell, which we didn't know at the time.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_01]: I've never seen Madman.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_01]: I tried to watch the first episode way back
- 26:33[SPEAKER_01]: Netflix was in its early days.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_01]: We're talking like I was in college or post college.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_01]: I remember being home for the summer and I want I turn on the first episode and I was just like I can't get into it and I have heard that it is one of those shows where it's like you have to get through the first couple episodes and then you're locked in.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_01]: And it's also perfect for pressing.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_01]: Very good.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_00]: I tried to watch it during the pandemic and I was, oh, this is this is bleak and I'm going to get back to watching the office as it turns out.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I just watched the office over and over and over again during the pandemic.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_01]: I'm so saying until of course it was taken off.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_00]: and totally took it off and rid my life, but, you know, regardless, but yeah, it's just it's such an iconic role.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_00]: Also thinking about enough campus when she was like, and now he's the madman.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, and now he's the madman, it's so true because that one just feels like the most sort of like iconic moment of like an actor in their early days to be like, you know, you were like super famous now.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_01]: And he actually, he was in a show called The Division from 2002 to 2004, right when his time on Gilmore Girls, like kind of like he started that show and he was in 66 episodes of that show.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_00]: Oh!
- 27:47[SPEAKER_01]: So exactly it wasn't until Mad Men which ran from 2007 to 2015.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_01]: He was in 92 episodes and just he played such an iconic character He was also in bridesmaids.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_01]: Of course of course he wasn't bridesmaids.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_01]: It was so good But that was when he was he was already established.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_00]: He was already established.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_00]: No, it's just like that Because like Alexis with that was in Mad Men Yeah, most of my car was my hearty.
- 28:11[SPEAKER_00]: It was in bridesmaids because it all comes together.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_00]: It all comes back to go more girls so true
- 28:15[SPEAKER_01]: But he also went on to do shows like Kimmy Schmidt, Fargo, Grimsberg, Landman, the Morning Show, and your friends and neighbors.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_00]: He's in the morning show that I fell off of that one after I like season two.
- 28:26[SPEAKER_01]: I've never seen it because we don't have Apple TV.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_01]: So I've missed down on shows like the Morning Show, Schmiggadoon.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_01]: We had, are you off-suffering?
- 28:36[SPEAKER_01]: We had a trial and that's when we watched so good and then when it was over, we were like, we've also never seen Ted Lasso, you know, for that same reason.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_00]: Really?
- 28:47[SPEAKER_00]: Terak.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_00]: Razy.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, which I think that we're trying to remember.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_00]: What?
- 28:54[SPEAKER_00]: in like a future episode, what movie you hadn't seen?
- 28:57[SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah, it was the live actions in Dorella.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_00]: So in a future episode, in a couple of weeks, if you guys are like, what are these girls talking about right now?
- 29:06[SPEAKER_00]: It will make sense later.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_01]: I wonder if it was two things episode.
- 29:09[SPEAKER_01]: I can't remember if it was two things episode, or if it's how to have a girl moral's ball episode.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_00]: It very well could have been Tuesday's episode with Labor Day.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_00]: It very well could be how to have a Gilmore Girls fall.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_01]: It's one of those, and you guys are going to be like, oh, yes.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_00]: Didn't actually know it wasn't worried about it, but we remember that.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_01]: Do you have any more for season three?
- 29:30[SPEAKER_00]: Of course I do.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_00]: In season three, episode 11, I solemnly swear, we meet a character named Alex who is played by Billy Burke.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, okay.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, wait, is that his name in that show?
- 29:44[SPEAKER_00]: No, because there's another someone who's asking his book, but someone whose name is Billy, but his name is Charlie Swan, of course, and he comes on his iconic father of Bella Swan, Charlie Swan, the sheriff in town, and so seeing him there.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if he would get into applause today, but I do think it would be very popular to see, like, oh my gosh, for sure.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_00]: No, I can totally see that.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_00]: And he does have that short stint, like he's just in a couple of episodes, but I gave it to him.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_01]: No, I think that that was a good one.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_01]: The next one for me was Sherlin Fen, which similarly to Modkin Amic had an established career for him, Twin Peaks, and they brought her in for, here comes the song, The Backdoor Pilot.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, well, I don't want to go on before that.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, tell me, in Saganite Gracie Benfell Cone.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, Benfell Cone!
- 30:34[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, good catch, good eyes.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, he's at France funeral.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_00]: I forget he's her lawyer, or if not who he is.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's like the lawyer for this day, for the slam for the family.
- 30:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_00]: But of course, that's most of my heart these has been.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_00]: So that one felt like a fun little nod.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_00]: It all comes back to bridesmaids.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_00]: It's true.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_01]: something actually that I want to touch back on in season two that for some reason like popped into my memory here that we didn't even talk about is that one of the characters in like motherlike daughter speaking of Brenda Strong.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_01]: The girl who sits down with Rory at the end because she's also kind of brought in to the puffs orbit and she's there.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_01]: That's Madeleine Zima.
- 31:22[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_01]: Have you ever seen the show The Nanny?
- 31:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_01]: She's the little girl.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_00]: Ah.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_01]: That's a must in a lot of things.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_01]: She's done a lot of stuff.
- 31:33[SPEAKER_01]: And she was in you.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_01]: She was in 20.
- 31:36[SPEAKER_01]: She was, which is what made me think of it with Sherlan Fenn.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_01]: You know, she was in California, and she was in heroes.
- 31:44[SPEAKER_01]: She's like, I mean, but she was mostly known for playing Grace Sheffield in The Nanny.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like she's more so.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_00]: Not to not to put who her career, you know, she's done quite a few things.
- 31:57[SPEAKER_00]: But I just feel like for the most part, does anyone know?
- 32:00[SPEAKER_00]: You know, would you applaud?
- 32:02[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, we of course would applaud her performance, but I'm just saying would the audience applaud her?
- 32:07[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe, now I feel really mean.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_00]: We would, we would cheer extra loud for her, actually, as it turns out.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_01]: Well, she's so funny because I remember looking at her me like she looks so familiar.
- 32:16[SPEAKER_01]: Like the first time that I watched it when I was a kid I remember being like she looks so familiar and it wasn't until because I like sometimes my it's not even a guilty pleasure my pleasure is To watch my full it is my full pleasure to watch the nanny I'll just turn it on on prime and I love singing the theme song because it's just so good.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and I was just I took a second for me to put tune two together on it when I was like you do
- 32:40[SPEAKER_01]: But I knew it was four.
- 32:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and it was four.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_00]: Two and two equals Madeline Zima.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, we can, we can pair as an honourable mention.
- 32:50[SPEAKER_01]: Speaking of four, shall we move on to season four?
- 32:53[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_00]: The first one I have is Victoria Justice.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_00]: Me too.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_00]: The hobby is so fun.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_00]: It's three of those.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_01]: It's so fun and digger styles.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_01]: More commonly known as la, but the couch in Jason.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 33:04[SPEAKER_01]: She's the hobbit.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_01]: She is.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_01]: She's just a little hobbit.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_00]: Eena Carrin, most McCarthy's making her cry.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_00]: For these, I put the way that I wrote them down.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, John Hamm is Peyton Sanders.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_00]: Like, that's what I wrote them down for.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_00]: Victoria Justice, Lixacarrit.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_00]: Lixacarrit.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't sound like a headline.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_01]: Victoria just says this is a good to care it.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_01]: But this was her first acting current at insane.
- 33:28[SPEAKER_00]: And that's one that like the, you know, reverse of like an audience applause in 2026.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_00]: She would walk out as a child and everyone would applaud.
- 33:37[SPEAKER_00]: It's a Victoria justice.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_00]: It's 502.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_00]: Victoria's.
- 33:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, Victoria's but she rose to fame until we won a one like that was her big break.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_00]: I would say oh my gosh Did not give me started on so we won a one and we still see star You know when they follow him around as cheerleaders for the day.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, we still do the cheers And my two yeah, oh, that's so funny
- 33:57[SPEAKER_01]: Um, that show ran from 2008-47 episodes.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, for Nickelodeon show, that's pretty good.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_01]: But then of course, she went on to be Tori Vega in Victoria's from 2010 to 2013.
- 34:07[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that really kicked off her career.
- 34:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you're a star of Nickelodeon show.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it was going to say there's just something that, like, you stay in the zeitgeist differently, like, especially because, like, we grew up with that.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_00]: That's kind of like a core memory of a lot of people and, like, the idea of being like a
- 34:24[SPEAKER_00]: a child star and rising to fame.
- 34:26[SPEAKER_00]: And that way, I just feel like you stay in fame in a different way when totally we've been locked in on like a Disney or Nickelodeon show.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, just look at Brenda, song with a note, TR.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, TR.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_00]: I guess that's just two letters.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_00]: You said three earlier.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_01]: I wasn't going to question you, but I was like, I think it's only two.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_01]: It's three.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_00]: It's not three.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_00]: It's two.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_00]: You know.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_00]: In my mind, there was an end there too, because we won't talk about my lack of brain power this morning.
- 34:57[SPEAKER_00]: I was going to say we're doing a morning work or if you couldn't tell.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, of course of course they could tell but moving on to the very next episode Yeah, just chicken or beef Dean is having his bachelor party.
- 35:10[SPEAKER_00]: They walk into Luke's and who walks in with him But Max Greenfield love him.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, she met from New Girl
- 35:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, which I was never a new girl girl.
- 35:21[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I'm finally getting a love girl girl.
- 35:23[SPEAKER_00]: Which I feel like is maybe like sometimes people's least favorite thing when I tell them that I could never get into new girl.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_00]: But when they say that, I could never get into new girl because of the new girl.
- 35:33[SPEAKER_00]: And they say that she's like the least important part of the show, despite being the titular character.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it is really an ensemble piece.
- 35:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I agree.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_01]: The character's round her, including Max Greenfield, is Schmidt, really make it, what it is.
- 35:46[SPEAKER_00]: And I will say I've enjoyed all the clips of like all of the guys, like all of them.
- 35:51[SPEAKER_00]: I really do enjoy those, but I've never been able to get into the show as a whole, but I do love Max Greenfield.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_01]: he's great he's great it is very like three men in a quirky girl um you know that show but it's called new girl because Jessica Day is the central character in a coat of course that was so it is shells like you know big break but it was also his big break.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_01]: because he played Schmitt on New Girl from 2011 to 2018 in 146 episodes, and Gilmore Girls was actually his third acting credit on IMDB.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_01]: This was very, we met him very early on in his career.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, he was in TV series.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't write the name of it down from 1999 to the year 2002, and it was credit interestingly, so it had me wondering if it was like an indie TV series or something a little like,
- 36:37[SPEAKER_01]: Lesser known and one episode of Boston public in 2002 before his credit on this was like, wow, right out.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_01]: And so, you know, he's gone on to do so much.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_00]: He's so successful now.
- 36:50[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, actually quite like watching him during the pandemic because he'd do a lot of content with his daughter, which was fun to watch.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that was one that he was a, he was in my comfort creator's dream.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_00]: comfort creator I mean just like in the sense that he was creating content online yeah he's actor in fact but i during the pandemic i really like to keep an up with him total what a what a bright light once a light yeah like pop on i feel like that someone who he walks on and everyone's like oh my gosh we got to that's max this early in your career we're totally putting you literally the third credit he has done so much he was just on the show the neighborhood which ran from 2018 to 2026 i mean he did i don't know that
- 37:31[SPEAKER_00]: the neighborhood?
- 37:32[SPEAKER_00]: No, I will read it to you.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_00]: I've never heard of that.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_01]: It's an American television sitcom created by Jim Reynolds, the aired on CBS from October 1, 2018 to May 11th, 2026.
- 37:41[SPEAKER_01]: It starts at the entertainer, Max Greenfield, and a couple other people who are actually unfamiliar with.
- 37:47[SPEAKER_01]: But I've never heard of those shows stood out to me not even once.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_00]: I think the show that just came out that I was getting confused with called maybe the burps and kiki pommers and burps.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_00]: I love kiki pommers so much.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_00]: Honestly, what an angel I caught.
- 38:02[SPEAKER_01]: You know Arnold, I'm not familiar with her, to kina Arnold.
- 38:05[SPEAKER_01]: Oh wait, she looks familiar.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, she was a martin.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 38:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 38:12[SPEAKER_01]: Beth bears.
- 38:13[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know Beth bears.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 38:15[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not very familiar with a lot of roles.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_01]: She was one of the two broke girls.
- 38:20[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, she was one of the broke ones.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_01]: She was the non-cat-denings pro-girl.
- 38:26[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, okay.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_00]: She was the other pro-girl.
- 38:29[SPEAKER_00]: That's okay.
- 38:30[SPEAKER_00]: I'm cool.
- 38:31[SPEAKER_01]: But I don't want you just on the broadcast television admittedly.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I didn't know that Ghosts had been on CVS for like six years before I started watching it.
- 38:40[SPEAKER_00]: I acted like I discovered this show with six seasons.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you know.
- 38:44[SPEAKER_01]: I remember when it came out the first time.
- 38:47[SPEAKER_01]: It's it's really funny and they're also doing a spin-off.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I believe the name of it goes, no it goes spin-off.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, it's with that guy who was in the Mindy Project goes spin-off.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_01]: Or maybe it's just from the creator of Ghosts.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_01]: God, what is it called?
- 39:04[SPEAKER_01]: Living?
- 39:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, you know, it's with Ed Weeks, I don't know if that is.
- 39:12[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's called a turnily yours.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_01]: It's about Vampires.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_01]: It's on CBS.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe it's from the creator of Ghost from the creator of because that doesn't make any sense with the rules of the world where ghosts exist, that there would be vampires?
- 39:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Joe Port, it says he is known for ghosts, and he's the creator of the show.
- 39:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 39:33[SPEAKER_01]: So maybe it's just like from the creators of Ghost.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_01]: Same with Joe, wise men, he is known for ghosts.
- 39:38[SPEAKER_01]: New girl.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_00]: That would make sense.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, based on like ghosts has kind of had like a little they're not starting again until the new year that makes sense, but you know who's the star of the show rose up do.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_01]: A turnily.
- 39:53[SPEAKER_00]: Wait, she's in ghost.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_00]: She shows up as a friend of his feelings.
- 39:57[SPEAKER_00]: Like a TV producer.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_01]: So I wonder if it's...
- 40:02[SPEAKER_00]: I'm in.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_00]: I'm...
- 40:04[SPEAKER_01]: I'm told.
- 40:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm not about it here.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_01]: It's old on it.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_01]: I'm on it.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_01]: And sold.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_01]: And sold.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_01]: You can't imagine anything, and I'm watching it.
- 40:12[SPEAKER_01]: That's true.
- 40:13[SPEAKER_01]: But back to Max Greenfield, he was also in running point.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_01]: the Netflix show.
- 40:18[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, pretty by many kilos.
- 40:19[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my gosh.
- 40:19[SPEAKER_00]: That is what I remember him from most recently.
- 40:22[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, Hudson.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I love that show.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_00]: I haven't watched season 2 yet.
- 40:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, me neither, but I mostly because my sister led me astray because I in the middle of the season, I said wait.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_00]: Does this happen because if this happens, I don't want to keep watching it.
- 40:36[SPEAKER_00]: And then we get to the end and that and she because she was like, no, no, that doesn't happen, but we get to the end and that thing happened.
- 40:40[SPEAKER_00]: And I said, why did you lie to me?
- 40:42[SPEAKER_00]: And just said because I wanted you to give a chance.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, but I can't give it a chance now because I didn't want that to happen.
- 40:49[SPEAKER_00]: And now it happened.
- 40:50[SPEAKER_00]: And she was like, but I was hoping you would change your mind.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, but I didn't.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_00]: But anyway, so I'm not sure how you feel about season going into season two, but I did grass.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_01]: But back to Max Greenfield, he was also in Don't Say Good Luck.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_01]: The Adam Sandler movie that just came out.
- 41:04[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I want to with Sunny Sandler.
- 41:07[SPEAKER_00]: I want to watch that.
- 41:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, me too.
- 41:09[SPEAKER_01]: Brett works very familiar for it.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, hurt good things.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_01]: So he's doing the thing.
- 41:14[SPEAKER_00]: I mean like, yeah, go max go go go my it's no one has told you recently max greenfield go max go.
- 41:23[SPEAKER_01]: So moving on through season four lots of guest stars in season four lots of stars because the next one I have a season four episode seven the festival of living art Nick Offerman who comes in and plays bobelville.
- 41:34[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my gosh.
- 41:35[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my gosh.
- 41:35[SPEAKER_00]: I told you're so right.
- 41:37[SPEAKER_00]: I had him in season six He does shop in season four.
- 41:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I brought for the first time.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, oh, okay, Nick.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, you're so right bobelville.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yes
- 41:53[SPEAKER_01]: He was in an episode here and there are a lot of different shows and some films His first acting credit was in 1994 and he was in eight episodes of the George Lopez show Which I used to watch that all the time all the time mostly because it was on free runs, but like did you ever fall asleep watching like Nick at night or something and wake up at a piece of the end Just like that jump it up it down and I was like it was three in the morning and like I was like where am I?
- 42:20[SPEAKER_01]: where I'm on the George Lopez show apparently on the George Lopez show, but his big break of course was playing Ron Swanson in Parks and Recreation from 2009 to 2015 he was in 123 episodes and that was
- 42:36[SPEAKER_01]: What do you become most known for?
- 42:37[SPEAKER_01]: That's new.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_01]: I'll ferment for you.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_00]: No, I got on season six I did forget that he showed up for the birth of Sukey's baby.
- 42:45[SPEAKER_00]: Why?
- 42:45[SPEAKER_00]: We still don't know.
- 42:47[SPEAKER_00]: She didn't know either really.
- 42:48[SPEAKER_00]: She did me there But yeah, how are you supporting the baby?
- 42:53[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my gosh So you have she shows up in the pit does she really?
- 42:58[SPEAKER_00]: Bruce, come on.
- 43:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but Nick Offerman.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, is just still an icon and a legend.
- 43:04[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, Ron Swanson is I think he'll be Ron Swanson for forever.
- 43:08[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's up there with Don Draper.
- 43:10[SPEAKER_01]: I think as far as iconic characters.
- 43:12[SPEAKER_00]: Don Draper needs to meet Ron Swanson.
- 43:14[SPEAKER_00]: Oh
- 43:15[SPEAKER_01]: 100%.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_00]: They need to have that full.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_00]: They need to have a drink.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but one of the things I loved when I was watching Willeng Grace for the first time, because he's of course married to Megamilali.
- 43:27[SPEAKER_01]: I loved seeing him on that show.
- 43:29[SPEAKER_01]: They were just dating at the time.
- 43:30[SPEAKER_01]: It was before they were married.
- 43:33[SPEAKER_00]: I think that was Ben in Melissa too and Ben Falcone.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah, they weren't married yet, but he most notably recently was in the last of us.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_01]: And I believe he was only in one episode, right?
- 43:44[SPEAKER_01]: Hmm.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_01]: So he wasn't the last, you know?
- 43:47[SPEAKER_01]: No, but his episode apparently, I never watched the show, but his episode apparently was like a big deal.
- 43:53[SPEAKER_00]: Hmm, okay, big, big, big, big.
- 43:55[SPEAKER_00]: I show you a watchout show.
- 43:56[SPEAKER_00]: There's too many shows to watch as it turns out.
- 43:58[SPEAKER_00]: I can't watch them all.
- 43:59[SPEAKER_00]: I can't watch everyone show.
- 44:01[SPEAKER_00]: That was the one that was based on the video game, right?
- 44:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, with what's his name?
- 44:06[SPEAKER_00]: Who I adore, whose name is not coming to my mind at the moment, who placed the main guy in the last of us.
- 44:11[SPEAKER_01]: It is Pedro Pesca.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_01]: Pedro Pesca.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 44:14[SPEAKER_01]: And Bella Ramsey.
- 44:16[SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_01]: Caitlyn Divers in it.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, this, I mean, it's stacked.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't watch it, Brett did.
- 44:20[SPEAKER_00]: And he said that they ended up said with Nick Offerman was like, going, okay, I love to be gutted.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe I have to watch it.
- 44:29[SPEAKER_01]: You do.
- 44:30[SPEAKER_01]: I love it.
- 44:30[SPEAKER_01]: He's just an icon and a legend.
- 44:32[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the fact that you could, I mean, for all of these people, Jane Lynch, John Ham, for Nick Offerman.
- 44:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, when you were doing Gilmore Girls, little did you know you were about to come
- 44:45[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
- 44:46[SPEAKER_01]: I like to think about that for them that like you're booking this now, but just you wait You're about to be an icon.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and you don't even know it yet, but switching gears a little bit to someone who is already an icon in that same episode I just wrote down.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_01]: I'm guilty.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty.
- 45:03[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty.
- 45:03[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty.
- 45:03[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty.
- 45:03[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty.
- 45:04[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty.
- 45:04[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty.
- 45:04[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guilty
- 45:05[SPEAKER_01]: kill Sebastian Bach, the fact that they were able to secure Sebastian Bach in the role that they did.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_01]: He's an icon.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_01]: He was then.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_01]: He is now I just like, what?
- 45:17[SPEAKER_01]: What a beat.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_01]: And he's also such he's he does his acting skills are so great for someone who came in as a musician into this space.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_00]: No, but I feel like sometimes you have a musician come in and you're like, oh, you're really trying to act.
- 45:34[SPEAKER_00]: You're really trying to get here.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_00]: But I feel like he fit that character so well totally the way that he loved his family and just the way that he showed up for the band.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_00]: And I just think one of the best lines that is ever delivered in this show is I'm real.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm really sorry, I totally agree.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_00]: And I always forget when he comes in, but the only reason that I remember is because he shows up at the festival of living art and living pictures.
- 46:00[SPEAKER_00]: And that's when like him and Lane hug and his family's there and he tells him that you got the job or he got the gig and it's so sweet.
- 46:08[SPEAKER_00]: I love that.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_01]: I feel very, very sweet.
- 46:10[SPEAKER_00]: That's one of those ones and it's like, oh, he was, he was already an icon when totally into the show.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_01]: He's someone that would have been applauded for.
- 46:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, oh, absolutely.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_01]: Next up, also someone who ended up becoming super iconic in season 4 episode 11 in the clamor and the clanger, Rami Malik.
- 46:28[SPEAKER_00]: Romney Malik, like, a rando.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_00]: Like, this was like what so rando was it not?
- 46:35[SPEAKER_01]: It was his first acting credit as Andy and Gilmore rolls.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_00]: As Andy, who is never ever, has ever been someone who was maybe a spy for a assistant pastor, Eric.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_01]: No, he stand this man.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_00]: He love the assistant pastor, Eric.
- 46:52[SPEAKER_00]: So the point that sometimes I forget that his name is Andy and that it's not assistant pastor Eric because he wants to be him, you know, he really does that and just seeing him there because he's just like so cute and so good so wholesome like but I remember the first time I watched it with Brett he was like is that?
- 47:10[SPEAKER_01]: Brommie Mallick?
- 47:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, that's nice, it is.
- 47:13[SPEAKER_01]: That's literally Freddie Mercury sitting in front of us right now.
- 47:17[SPEAKER_00]: Like, just so you know, yeah, he's just in this little Bible study school group that, yeah, I mean, has.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_00]: And that's actually literally figuratively fictionally, Freddie Mercury.
- 47:28[SPEAKER_00]: But that's one of my favorite ones, I think, because, like, in the reverse of the applause, he would get a deafening applause.
- 47:35[SPEAKER_00]: Just for your first role, maybe, like, look at where he went.
- 47:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, I mean, for Freddie Mercury.
- 47:42[SPEAKER_01]: He did.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_01]: He wanted a skirt for that.
- 47:44[SPEAKER_00]: Are there any other actors who came to Gilmourn Girls in the sense of like building their career before they'd like really broke out that like, do any of them have Oscars other than Rami?
- 47:55[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think so.
- 47:57[SPEAKER_00]: I don't believe so.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_00]: Huge.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, there's Tony's, some of them have Tony's, but no one's in the room.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_01]: There are Tony's.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_01]: There are Emmys.
- 48:05[SPEAKER_01]: They're Golden Globes.
- 48:09[SPEAKER_00]: And this is his first role.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_00]: Like, yeah, iconic.
- 48:12[SPEAKER_01]: I agree.
- 48:12[SPEAKER_01]: I agree.
- 48:13[SPEAKER_01]: But do you remember him in the 90th of the museum films?
- 48:16[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, my gosh.
- 48:17[SPEAKER_01]: To, I, I crushed so hard.
- 48:19[SPEAKER_01]: Are you a big, of course.
- 48:21[SPEAKER_01]: So it's not like he did nothing up until like he was still working.
- 48:25[SPEAKER_01]: It's just like Bohemian Rhapsody in 2018, changed his life.
- 48:29[SPEAKER_00]: changed his life, changed my sister's life, my sister watches that movie literally all the time.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_00]: She's so good.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_00]: I love obsessed with Queen through that movie.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, really mean, but yeah, he developed like a massive queen obsession because I love Queen.
- 48:45[SPEAKER_01]: I've loved Queen since high school.
- 48:47[SPEAKER_01]: It was such an iconic film.
- 48:49[SPEAKER_01]: I really enjoyed the movie a lot.
- 48:51[SPEAKER_01]: I thought it was not very well done.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_01]: Um, but we can't we can't discount the fact that he was also in Mr.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_01]: Robot from 2015 to 2019.
- 49:00[SPEAKER_01]: So like and he received an Emmy award for that.
- 49:03[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, he was working.
- 49:05[SPEAKER_01]: He was happy to work at night if I've like Dolly Parton.
- 49:08[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe she was in peace, but no he was he was acting.
- 49:11[SPEAKER_00]: He had a lot of really good roles Yeah, making a very good career for himself that just like completely shifted when he became Freddie Mercury or when he was cast as Freddie Mercury I will say and shifted him into
- 49:26[SPEAKER_00]: Oscar.
- 49:27[SPEAKER_00]: Like when you get an Oscar, you just kind of move into a different category.
- 49:30[SPEAKER_00]: Your world is just different.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_00]: So I think that that's quite fun.
- 49:33[SPEAKER_00]: Looking at this Oscar winner and being like, you started where?
- 49:36[SPEAKER_00]: Gilmore girls, Kim's antiques.
- 49:39[SPEAKER_00]: Kim's you started in Kim's antiques?
- 49:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_00]: Obsessing over a system has rare.
- 49:44[SPEAKER_01]: He also was an Oppenheimer.
- 49:46[SPEAKER_01]: What's he?
- 49:47[SPEAKER_00]: I never saw that.
- 49:48[SPEAKER_00]: I saw Darby.
- 49:50[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I get it.
- 49:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, say I'm moving through season four.
- 49:54[SPEAKER_01]: The Shins in girls and bikinis boys do in the twist to the appearance.
- 49:57[SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of like the Bengals, right?
- 49:59[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I would argue that the Bengals are a little more iconic.
- 50:02[SPEAKER_01]: The Shins are still, I mean, for me, very iconic.
- 50:05[SPEAKER_01]: They're more like an indie rock band.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_01]: They're great.
- 50:08[SPEAKER_01]: They're wonderful.
- 50:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they've been going since 1996.
- 50:13[SPEAKER_01]: according to Wikipedia still together, their fifth album Heart Worms was released in March of 2017.
- 50:17[SPEAKER_01]: I don't see anything since then.
- 50:21[SPEAKER_01]: They did a remix album called The Worms Heart, Heart Worms Heart in 2018.
- 50:25[SPEAKER_01]: But I think now we haven't seen an album release from them since then.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_01]: It's pretty mercury.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_01]: Since Rommie Malik played Freddie Mark, you're right.
- 50:35[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, okay.
- 50:37[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of times I connected, but it's weird that it was the same thing.
- 50:40[SPEAKER_00]: No, we, this aligned, and then they just stopped making music.
- 50:44[SPEAKER_00]: One, there is a lot of inference one can make in this situation.
- 50:48[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, I feel like at the time it was like such a big fun thing that the Paladin knows we're able to get musicians like this in bands like this to be such a big part of the show because in that's bring wife episode they are playing that song for quite some time like this is not just like a we're playing a couple bars and then we go to the characters we're on them for considerable amount of time to the point that I'm like
- 51:18[SPEAKER_00]: But they're really well featured, and so I feel like that one's like an important one to point out simply because of how much time they spent on them.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely, and I also, I think we talked about this back in 2020, she that I would be interested to know what the agreement was between them and the WB and the Paladino's like, Okay, we will do this, but X amount of our song, so as I have to do it for a minute.
- 51:39[SPEAKER_00]: It's really too full minutes of playing.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_00]: So interesting, but yeah.
- 51:43[SPEAKER_01]: Um, but moving on to season five, I don't have any more for season four to you.
- 51:46[SPEAKER_01]: I don't have any more.
- 51:47[SPEAKER_01]: That was my last one.
- 51:48[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure you guys are like, wait, there's no way, there's more, but the first one I haven't season five is Norma Miller and Norma Miller and pregnant.
- 51:57[SPEAKER_01]: Of course.
- 51:58[SPEAKER_00]: like he's in the title.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_00]: It's Norman Mailer and I I loved hearing who talked about that Stan Zimmerman when he was on the podcast.
- 52:06[SPEAKER_00]: I guess it was last summer, summer before.
- 52:08[SPEAKER_00]: I forget exactly.
- 52:10[SPEAKER_00]: He explained more about the process of getting to summer.
- 52:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and how that came about.
- 52:15[SPEAKER_00]: So you can go back and listen to him talk about it.
- 52:17[SPEAKER_00]: But I just feel like so iconic Norman Mailer
- 52:21[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like we would get a get an applause for that if it was a sitcom.
- 52:25[SPEAKER_00]: But more in the sense that they're flashing the applause, you know, because everyone's like, and this man is, yeah, it's not a maleer.
- 52:33[SPEAKER_00]: And then when they tell you, they're like, oh, that is not a maleer, but I don't think that he's identifiable necessarily on site.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like he's a PB and on name.
- 52:41[SPEAKER_00]: Like they're like, normal maleers walking on and everyone be like, oh my gosh, what?
- 52:45[SPEAKER_00]: It's normal maleer, but I think he's in his face.
- 52:47[SPEAKER_00]: Everyone would be like, and there's that man.
- 52:50[SPEAKER_01]: But I do think people would applaud because certain people would know, and then other people would be educated on who this man knows.
- 52:55[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm just thinking of like a studio audience of like a plaza of plaza, and then they're like, like a ticker tape of like, this is no man-mailer.
- 53:07[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yes, of course, of course, but I also love that it's it's his son who is the one who is interviewing him and they're drinking it.
- 53:16[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
- 53:17[SPEAKER_01]: Also kind of a lovely little Easter egg, and I don't know if we talked about that in our Easter egg episode.
- 53:22[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know that we did, but we definitely talked Stan talked about it for sure.
- 53:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, in that episode.
- 53:27[SPEAKER_00]: Isn't that, didn't we name it after that episode after Norma Miller impregnate the name?
- 53:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's a stand.
- 53:32[SPEAKER_01]: We're podcasting.
- 53:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 53:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, exactly.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_00]: So that feels very line.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_00]: So go back and listen to that episode.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_00]: If you want a little Norma Miller, pass through.
- 53:41[SPEAKER_00]: Who do you have next?
- 53:42[SPEAKER_00]: I don't actually know if this counts, but this is one of those things that it feels like it's from millennials, because every single time I see this child, I always think of him from the sweet life of Zach and Cody in women of questionable morals, the little horse who were the reenactor narrators.
- 53:58[SPEAKER_00]: His name is Charlie Stewart, but his name is Bobby.
- 54:01[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, Bobby, in Gilmore Girls, and they were like, do you mean this person?
- 54:04[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, no, no, no, little red head.
- 54:09[SPEAKER_00]: And I started talking and women of questionable morals and then Google filled it out ginger kid And I was like, oh, I'm not the first and yeah, so he was like a big fixture on Disney Channel and yes, he was that's Charlie Stewart And so you know who I'm talking about.
- 54:26[SPEAKER_00]: I don't I feel like one on the right.
- 54:29[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yes, okay, and so not necessarily a star a guest star Not necessarily a star at all, but I feel like as millennials see that kid and we're like
- 54:38[SPEAKER_00]: We're like, oh yeah, we know exactly what that is.
- 54:41[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 54:41[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 54:42[SPEAKER_01]: I think that it's one of those again, like kind of an Easter at kind of like a deep cut.
- 54:46[SPEAKER_00]: It's like if you know you know, if you know, you know, yes, exactly.
- 54:49[SPEAKER_00]: You know, you know.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_00]: And we know, we know.
- 54:51[SPEAKER_00]: And if you don't know, you're going to be like, women of questionable morals, ginger, kid.
- 54:57[SPEAKER_00]: It's true.
- 54:58[SPEAKER_00]: That's fair.
- 54:59[SPEAKER_01]: Do we move on to season six or do you have any more for season five?
- 55:02[SPEAKER_00]: I don't have any more for season five I did briefly consider Greg Henry because he goes on to like of course being scandal Yeah, but we could see the same about like lies a while.
- 55:12[SPEAKER_00]: I live out like a lot of people You know, I still feel different.
- 55:15[SPEAKER_00]: She feels like a core character, but yeah, because I was like he's such a short stint But I was like no, he doesn't really count
- 55:22[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think so either because I would see him more as like a Chad Michael Murray or a an Adam Brody.
- 55:27[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely.
- 55:27[SPEAKER_00]: That was the thought process that went through my mind.
- 55:29[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, think I was like, but I don't feel like he's any more famous for scandal than he was for Gilmore girls.
- 55:35[SPEAKER_00]: I agree.
- 55:35[SPEAKER_01]: I actually think he's most notable for the role for Gilmore girls.
- 55:40[SPEAKER_00]: Well, right.
- 55:40[SPEAKER_00]: So that was good over him.
- 55:42[SPEAKER_00]: Which I guess I didn't because I brought it up.
- 55:45[SPEAKER_01]: I guess, I guess not, it's not because it's in front of that now.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_01]: So the first person that I have for season six is Madeline Allbright.
- 55:52[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, of course.
- 55:54[SPEAKER_00]: Well, mine actually was Nick Offerman until you remember, oh sure season.
- 55:58[SPEAKER_00]: Always a godmother, never a god, but Madeline Allbright because I remember Madeline Allbright as her mother.
- 56:03[SPEAKER_01]: She plays Laura like Omar, she does, and it's so funny because I always hear like, hey, look, it's Madeline Allbright from that episode in season four with that guy, but it's really here because they do bring her in.
- 56:19[SPEAKER_01]: And season six is also chock full of stars that they brought in that were like true stars at the time.
- 56:26[SPEAKER_01]: And with Madeline Allbright, it's more over that she was like
- 56:30[SPEAKER_01]: I guess now that I'm talking about it, something that we forgot to mention in season 3 episode 1 is that they do have a lot of political figures.
- 56:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I was about to say the same.
- 56:38[SPEAKER_01]: And I didn't really like think about that or draw too much attention to it when I was thinking about guest stars.
- 56:43[SPEAKER_01]: But if we're going to say, Madeline Allbright is one, I think we have to acknowledge the people who are in season 3.
- 56:48[SPEAKER_00]: it feels like though they are like so impassing like they have like a quick line.
- 56:53[SPEAKER_00]: I don't need some of them don't even have lines.
- 56:55[SPEAKER_00]: They're just there and Paris is talking at them, but with Madeline Aubrey she has a full speaking role laying in Roy's bed with her so that why I felt different about it.
- 57:05[SPEAKER_00]: because I was like, we could list them all, and I didn't list them out, but like this one is just so different.
- 57:11[SPEAKER_00]: She's laying and worries bed with her, obviously reading her lines off cue cards, because not everyone can be a Sebastian Bach of course, but she did a great job.
- 57:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, great job,
- 57:23[SPEAKER_01]: And for those of you who aren't necessarily familiar with who Madeleine Albright is she was an American diplomat and political scientist who served as a 64th United States Secretary of State under President Bill Clinton from 1997 to 2001.
- 57:35[SPEAKER_00]: It's not crazy, like a literal secretary of state with lying in bed with Alexis Bledell.
- 57:40[SPEAKER_01]: And what I think is most iconic is that she was the very first woman to ever hold that position.
- 57:45[SPEAKER_01]: Like that's what makes her such an icon.
- 57:47[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that Amy really is always drawn to women like that, of course.
- 57:51[SPEAKER_00]: But have you ever seen speaking of women in politics?
- 57:55[SPEAKER_00]: Michelle Obama talking to Alexis Bledell, but she is playing worry Gilmore.
- 57:59[SPEAKER_00]: What, Tara, I had never seen this before, but I was looking up something about because, of course, Victoria Stein was in Obama's White House, and I was kind of trying to draw a parallel between Roy being on his presidential campaign, his parade tour, if you will.
- 58:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, his parade.
- 58:17[SPEAKER_00]: I was looking up like Roy Gilmore Obama, and it came up with a video of Michelle Obama going,
- 58:28[SPEAKER_00]: I've never seen this, but I have to send it to you because I was shocked that this existed, but yeah.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_00]: So that one, like maybe like a small call out for like Michelle Obama, I'm going to have to send it to you, but like I was like, how have I never in my life seen this until the year 2026?
- 58:43[SPEAKER_00]: But it's
- 58:44[SPEAKER_00]: Crazy she literally walks in the room and she was hey, Rory and I said Michelle her name's Lexus What is this?
- 58:50[SPEAKER_00]: What am I am I am I am I hallucinating what is happening?
- 58:53[SPEAKER_00]: There is a part of me that feels like it's like a memory that's deeply buried back in there You're gonna watch it and you're gonna be like oh, yes because like personally I did not say that I said what is this and when did this happen?
- 59:05[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm sure a lot of you out there Like yes you guys missed this 100% and some of you are gonna be like what?
- 59:12[SPEAKER_01]: So, wow, that's crazy!
- 59:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so talking about Madeline Allbright reminded me of that, because I just discovered this literally last week.
- 59:21[SPEAKER_00]: Day.
- 59:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I love it.
- 59:23[SPEAKER_00]: So, you guys, you guys go check it on that, but Madeline Allbright did play her mom.
- 59:28[SPEAKER_00]: and she's in six episodes up, and 21 is lonely.
- 59:30[SPEAKER_00]: It's number, when she's supposed to do the 403 with Laura lie, but they're separated.
- 59:37[SPEAKER_00]: So who's going to fill in the shoes of Ms. Laura like, go more doing it?
- 59:41[SPEAKER_00]: Madeline.
- 59:42[SPEAKER_00]: No, and other, of course, then Madeline all bright.
- 59:43[SPEAKER_00]: And always bothers me, though, because immediately where we wake up, and she goes, I had a dream that Madeline all bright was my mother.
- 59:48[SPEAKER_00]: And Logan's like, uh, like, that's my response to it.
- 59:52[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he's like, here.
- 59:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, great story like a back-to-sleep boy.
- 59:56[SPEAKER_00]: Great story.
- 59:58[SPEAKER_01]: Great story.
- 59:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the next one I have is Danny Pooody I know I don't see any cuz moody.
- 1:00:05[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not a community girl my sister.
- 1:00:07[SPEAKER_01]: I never watch it's a show
- 1:00:09[SPEAKER_00]: It's one of her favorite shows, and so just by being around, I've seen a lot of episodes in the same way that being around me, she's seen a lot of Gilmour Girls, and so I knew who he was, only after I became obsessed with Gilmour Girls, and so when I was like, we, that, whoa, it's, you're the same.
- 1:00:29[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I had that moment, but I feel like for a lot of people, this would get an applause.
- 1:00:33[SPEAKER_00]: And for a lot of people, they wouldn't know who he was.
- 1:00:35[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like that was
- 1:00:37[SPEAKER_01]: I also though think that Danny Pooody is very recognizable for how many things he did even before community because, in fact, this was only his third credit on like his third acting credit with Gilmore Girls.
- 1:00:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he was a young person if you'll forget.
- 1:00:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 1:00:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yel Jellie News, he plays Raj and he was in an episode of The West Wing in 2006 and an episode of ER in 2006 as well.
- 1:01:00[SPEAKER_01]: So 2006 was really when his career.
- 1:01:02[SPEAKER_01]: kicked off, which I love to see.
- 1:01:05[SPEAKER_01]: He definitely did some writing things after the fact, but like acting was really his, was really his niche.
- 1:01:11[SPEAKER_01]: And it wasn't until community that I felt like he had his big break, but he was in shows like Greek.
- 1:01:18[SPEAKER_01]: I love Greek.
- 1:01:19[SPEAKER_01]: I love Greek.
- 1:01:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah and he was in before community became as big as it was because of course it ran from 2009 to 2015.
- 1:01:28[SPEAKER_01]: They had like a bunch of little spin-offs.
- 1:01:30[SPEAKER_01]: I almost kind of see them as like um the accountants.
- 1:01:32[SPEAKER_01]: Oh yes.
- 1:01:33[SPEAKER_01]: Like what do you mean?
- 1:01:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:01:36[SPEAKER_01]: Um but he was in Captain America, the Winter Soldier.
- 1:01:38[SPEAKER_01]: He's been... Oh my gosh, he's so right.
- 1:01:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, a lot of different things.
- 1:01:43[SPEAKER_01]: Um he's done a lot of voice acting, smur.
- 1:01:47[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 1:01:48[SPEAKER_01]: Duck tails.
- 1:01:49[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, oh my gosh, get a Danny Putin.
- 1:01:51[SPEAKER_01]: He's done a bunch of stuff.
- 1:01:52[SPEAKER_01]: But community congratulations for having gotten it.
- 1:01:55[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
- 1:01:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:01:56[SPEAKER_01]: But community I think is like his.
- 1:01:59[SPEAKER_01]: That's what that was his big break.
- 1:02:00[SPEAKER_01]: And it brought him three nominations for the critics choice.
- 1:02:03[SPEAKER_01]: Television Awards for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.
- 1:02:05[SPEAKER_01]: And a nomination for the TCA Award for individual achievement in comedy.
- 1:02:09[SPEAKER_01]: Love.
- 1:02:10[SPEAKER_01]: Do you have anything before Brides made through visited?
- 1:02:12[SPEAKER_01]: I don't.
- 1:02:13[SPEAKER_00]: This one is like a double app.
- 1:02:14[SPEAKER_00]: We get two actors in this one.
- 1:02:16[SPEAKER_00]: One more prominent in the episode who I wrote him down as pompous Princeton guy, though he does have a real name and I think it's Quinton Walsh.
- 1:02:27[SPEAKER_00]: It's like it was.
- 1:02:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I did write down for a running game.
- 1:02:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:02:31[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, it is.
- 1:02:31[SPEAKER_00]: Quinton Walsh, it says a real name.
- 1:02:32[SPEAKER_00]: I just hear him saying it in mine at mine didn't he goes after he says it?
- 1:02:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, he told us it's not other than Leslie Odom Jr. who would get like a reverse 2026 applause when he comes on one of his like percent what an icon Aaron and her sir icon literally Aaron Burr sir This was also his third acting credit is it really?
- 1:02:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I mean at least on television Okay, he did a series called the big house in 2004
- 1:03:02[SPEAKER_01]: a series called Thrash Hold in 2006, two episodes on the big house, one episode on Thrash Hold, and then Gilmore Rolls was his third.
- 1:03:08[SPEAKER_01]: Third time's a show.
- 1:03:09[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I love.
- 1:03:10[SPEAKER_00]: Can I tell you something controversial?
- 1:03:12[SPEAKER_00]: Tell me, he has one of the best Christmas albums of all of the Christmas albums.
- 1:03:16[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I believe I know.
- 1:03:17[SPEAKER_01]: That's all I've got.
- 1:03:18[SPEAKER_00]: I love a Michael Bublé.
- 1:03:19[SPEAKER_00]: Don't get me wrong, but Leslie, I'm Junior, that's who we're putting on at the holidays.
- 1:03:24[SPEAKER_00]: Like, something about that voice, singing me Christmas songs, ideal.
- 1:03:30[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my gosh, I kind of want to turn it on today.
- 1:03:31[SPEAKER_00]: I am going to the beach.
- 1:03:32[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, wow, going to the beach.
- 1:03:34[SPEAKER_01]: It's not even fall, but it's kind of fall, and you're going to turn on Christmas albums.
- 1:03:38[SPEAKER_00]: It's Leslie, I'm Junior, though.
- 1:03:40[SPEAKER_00]: I haven't listened to it in quite some time, like maybe like nine months a few will.
- 1:03:49[SPEAKER_00]: But I feel like his was one that was just, it was just a quick little, he roll, you know, like it was just Rory was in between things in between breakups and between moments with Logan.
- 1:03:59[SPEAKER_00]: And he's on there pretty quick.
- 1:04:00[SPEAKER_00]: He's, um, he's just in that one instance.
- 1:04:03[SPEAKER_00]: He's not like Danny Poody where he comes back a couple of times.
- 1:04:06[SPEAKER_00]: He's more in the Peyton Sanders, if you will, in the John Ham, but love him.
- 1:04:11[SPEAKER_00]: He's a great- Yeah, pompous, Princeton guy.
- 1:04:14[SPEAKER_00]: Very difficult to say.
- 1:04:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, he's incredible.
- 1:04:17[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he's such an icon in the Broadway world.
- 1:04:19[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I didn't realize that he had made his Broadway debut in Rent in 1998.
- 1:04:24[SPEAKER_01]: So he was already doing the thing.
- 1:04:25[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he was already talented.
- 1:04:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but he went on to do like he was in smash the TV series for those of you.
- 1:04:33[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, any theater girls out there?
- 1:04:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, 23 episodes.
- 1:04:37[SPEAKER_01]: Um, he was in an episode of the Good Wife, and an episode of Gotham, like he, he was in a show called Central Park, which was an animated, like musical sitcom, and he's just like, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just, he's just,
- 1:04:57[SPEAKER_00]: He was he recently was in there.
- 1:04:59[SPEAKER_00]: He was him.
- 1:05:01[SPEAKER_01]: He came back as Aaron Burr sir.
- 1:05:02[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 1:05:03[SPEAKER_00]: I saw him as Aaron.
- 1:05:06[SPEAKER_01]: He was also in glass onion.
- 1:05:07[SPEAKER_01]: I forgot about that.
- 1:05:08[SPEAKER_01]: Did you ever see glass onion?
- 1:05:09[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my gosh, you're so right.
- 1:05:11[SPEAKER_01]: I loved that one.
- 1:05:12[SPEAKER_00]: I love all the things out my bees.
- 1:05:14[SPEAKER_01]: I do too.
- 1:05:14[SPEAKER_01]: I actually love to rewatch all of them.
- 1:05:16[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe we'll do that for the- That's such a good involved thing.
- 1:05:19[SPEAKER_00]: That's actually something that I would have loved to mention in our fall episode is watching all the knives out.
- 1:05:24[SPEAKER_00]: Or in the one that we do with housecast with Ken Deals of it.
- 1:05:27[SPEAKER_00]: Like, we're watching all the knives out movie.
- 1:05:28[SPEAKER_00]: These feels very abdominal.
- 1:05:30[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe I'll do that instead of listening to you.
- 1:05:33[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe he's herself.
- 1:05:34[SPEAKER_01]: I was gonna say, maybe pet-
- 1:05:35[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe we'll see pause on the Christmas I make the second I make the rolls, you know, but later on that episode We get a very very small scene with someone who became a bit of an S&L icon and that is in the scene Pidrad, Pidrad is like that Pidrad.
- 1:05:52[SPEAKER_00]: I say um Pidrad.
- 1:05:53[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not sure
- 1:05:54[SPEAKER_00]: In the scene, Petrod, she is on SNL, but she literally just comes up, takes for his napkins.
- 1:06:00[SPEAKER_00]: In the same room, the way that I wrote Victoria Jostitous looks a carrot, I wrote takes for his napkins, because she's very upset that she takes him from her.
- 1:06:07[SPEAKER_00]: This is after she finds out that Logan slept with the bridesmaids, and so she comes to the bar, and it's before Doyle arrives.
- 1:06:13[SPEAKER_00]: But she's just trying to do your job and Marie is drunk and upset with her.
- 1:06:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's like flash and you miss her sort of moment truly blink and you miss her we talked about this on Revisited because they spotted her and I was like oh my god cuz it's blink and you miss her.
- 1:06:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but that's okay We both flash flash and you miss it's like the flash of flash became yeah, yeah, but she is such an icon I always think of her.
- 1:06:36[SPEAKER_01]: I always associate her with screen Queens and
- 1:06:39[SPEAKER_01]: And with you girl, she was on you girl.
- 1:06:42[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I didn't know that.
- 1:06:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but she's not allowed as what I know her from.
- 1:06:46[SPEAKER_01]: Of course.
- 1:06:46[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, she is.
- 1:06:47[SPEAKER_01]: That is a funny lady.
- 1:06:48[SPEAKER_01]: But it's truly blank in your misheard because like, what an icon.
- 1:06:52[SPEAKER_00]: I always associate her.
- 1:06:52[SPEAKER_00]: There's one when Taylor Swift hosted and they have like a little girl's night sketch.
- 1:06:58[SPEAKER_00]: That's the one that I always associate with her.
- 1:07:00[SPEAKER_01]: Speaking of icons, the next person I have is Paul and Gah.
- 1:07:04[SPEAKER_00]: Paul Inc.
- 1:07:04[SPEAKER_00]: The real Paul Inc.
- 1:07:06[SPEAKER_00]: The real Paul Inc.
- 1:07:07[SPEAKER_00]: In the episode, the real Paul Inc. Yeah.
- 1:07:10[SPEAKER_01]: God, he has so many iconic songs.
- 1:07:12[SPEAKER_01]: Put your head on my shoulder, my way.
- 1:07:15[SPEAKER_01]: Like, he's just, what an icon.
- 1:07:18[SPEAKER_01]: That link you Paul Inc. No, is an icon.
- 1:07:20[SPEAKER_01]: Honestly,
- 1:07:20[SPEAKER_01]: Had he not been in this episode of the real Polynca?
- 1:07:24[SPEAKER_01]: No, like and called out in lower like stream as Polynca I don't know that he would have like known who he was visually.
- 1:07:31[SPEAKER_01]: I know who he was vocally.
- 1:07:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, okay fair I just like he was not someone who I was like in tune with seeing
- 1:07:39[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, my mom had records from me were younger, and so they're what he was on the cover of it, but I don't know that I would have like easily identified him otherwise, but my favorite part of his appearance is that he's sitting on Sally's strothers lap.
- 1:07:53[SPEAKER_00]: They had, I haul ink of it.
- 1:07:55[SPEAKER_00]: Tollinka, icon polinka, sitting on her lap, like a dog.
- 1:07:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I just, there's something about that.
- 1:08:01[SPEAKER_00]: It's like dog polinka walks towards Rio Polinka, real polinka walks towards Doha Polinka, and the way that she like tells that story, just like imprinted in my mind by imprinted.
- 1:08:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I feel like sure.
- 1:08:14[SPEAKER_00]: That's one who he walks on, everyone is applauding.
- 1:08:18[SPEAKER_00]: And then you're like, wait, this is a dream sequence.
- 1:08:22[SPEAKER_01]: Where are we?
- 1:08:23[SPEAKER_01]: No, but the dream sequence in the real Polyka is just like it's just so good It's so well done and it was such an excellent use of such an iconic character.
- 1:08:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I love that a lot of these Like true stars come on and they're just like so game to do whatever fits the scene Like I imagine they had to ask Madeline all brave She was okay to lay in bed with the Lexus Baudel and she was like great.
- 1:08:43[SPEAKER_00]: Let's do it I imagine with Paul Inc.
- 1:08:46[SPEAKER_00]: They were like, okay, you're gonna sit on Sally's lap and be a dog and he's like great Got it
- 1:08:51[SPEAKER_00]: Not it done done gonna do it.
- 1:08:54[SPEAKER_00]: No worries then I just love that.
- 1:08:56[SPEAKER_00]: I love that when I love when someone who is that famous It's just like game to do whatever fits the scene to whatever fits the moment.
- 1:09:03[SPEAKER_01]: I always I always appreciate that Yeah, moving on to the finale of season six.
- 1:09:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, that's the next one for me because of course And we talk about her all the time Jan from the office, Mollora Hardin
- 1:09:15[SPEAKER_00]: And from the office, Mallora, my queen, she is Carolyn.
- 1:09:20[SPEAKER_00]: She is the therapist.
- 1:09:21[SPEAKER_00]: I'm learning for those in the know.
- 1:09:23[SPEAKER_00]: For those in the know and we are in the know and I just like feeling this one is just so much fun because I think that this was at like around the time that the office was starting.
- 1:09:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the office started in 2006 for 2005, five split.
- 1:09:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:09:40[SPEAKER_01]: So it was very fresh.
- 1:09:42[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, she had just on this, but something I didn't know until I like research Muller Harden.
- 1:09:47[SPEAKER_01]: I would love to talk to her.
- 1:09:48[SPEAKER_01]: I love to talk to her.
- 1:09:50[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 1:09:51[SPEAKER_01]: She's been acting since 1976.
- 1:09:54[SPEAKER_00]: She was so many, she's a child girl.
- 1:09:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:09:59[SPEAKER_01]: Oh.
- 1:10:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:10:00[SPEAKER_01]: Because she was born in 1967.
- 1:10:03[SPEAKER_01]: So she was only nine years old when she had her first acting credit.
- 1:10:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:10:07[SPEAKER_01]: She went back then, Melora.
- 1:10:09[SPEAKER_01]: She, like, one of her first,
- 1:10:11[SPEAKER_01]: TV series credits was on a series called Thunder in 1977.
- 1:10:15[SPEAKER_01]: She was in 12 episodes.
- 1:10:17[SPEAKER_01]: She's in episode of the love boat and episode of different strokes, little house on the prairie two episodes.
- 1:10:24[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, she is, she's been acting for quite, she is a work and heart for her money.
- 1:10:31[SPEAKER_01]: She also was in the dirty dancing series.
- 1:10:34[SPEAKER_01]: I forgot about this.
- 1:10:35[SPEAKER_00]: I actually watched this.
- 1:10:37[SPEAKER_00]: We did know this.
- 1:10:38[SPEAKER_01]: We've talked about this.
- 1:10:39[SPEAKER_01]: The dirty dancing TV series that they did in the late 80s.
- 1:10:42[SPEAKER_01]: She played baby.
- 1:10:44[SPEAKER_01]: And I was just like, God, love, love, love, love.
- 1:10:47[SPEAKER_00]: I kind of would need her to come and be an Emily and Richard pretty cool.
- 1:10:51[SPEAKER_00]: And some way, like, I would need her to be in it.
- 1:10:55[SPEAKER_00]: But she's one of those people that, like, I feel like people get excited to see because, of course, she becomes kind of an iconic character on the office, of course, we call her Jan from the office all the time referred her because that is what I feel she is really well known for.
- 1:11:10[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I would say that was her big quote unquote big break even though.
- 1:11:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:11:14[SPEAKER_01]: No, as you were just saying, she's done a lot.
- 1:11:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:11:17[SPEAKER_00]: It's more of her big break into like a notoriety, like a common, like a household name, like we know her.
- 1:11:23[SPEAKER_00]: And even if you don't know that her name is Malora Harden, we say Jan for the office and you say, okay, yes.
- 1:11:27[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I know exactly who she is.
- 1:11:29[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, there's something to be said for someone who is known for their character and maybe not known for their
- 1:11:36[SPEAKER_00]: And that's definitely her, but she was of course in like the bold type which I know the both of us love.
- 1:11:41[SPEAKER_01]: I know But she was also in monk.
- 1:11:43[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, she was in monk.
- 1:11:45[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my gosh.
- 1:11:45[SPEAKER_00]: You're so right.
- 1:11:47[SPEAKER_00]: She's so rude.
- 1:11:48[SPEAKER_01]: I can't
- 1:11:49[SPEAKER_00]: Please do not bring a piss name, I want to go down that rabbit hole, my name, my name, my name, my name, yeah, I just like, I love every time she pops up.
- 1:11:57[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like in the lore of this podcast specifically, if feels like she's in more episodes than just one.
- 1:12:04[SPEAKER_00]: Then just the one.
- 1:12:05[SPEAKER_00]: We talk about her, like it seems like seriously.
- 1:12:08[SPEAKER_00]: She pops up a lot, just the one, just a couple of scenes.
- 1:12:12[SPEAKER_01]: Now, something I wanted to take note of speaking of this podcast because we talk about the Hannah Montana movie.
- 1:12:20[SPEAKER_01]: She played a character named Moralai.
- 1:12:22[SPEAKER_01]: She put them on to get them away.
- 1:12:24[SPEAKER_00]: She was in the hands of one to hand of movie.
- 1:12:26[SPEAKER_00]: As Moralai.
- 1:12:28[SPEAKER_00]: Moralai.
- 1:12:29[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:12:30[SPEAKER_00]: I recently watched, I think I was on a plane.
- 1:12:32[SPEAKER_00]: And I rewatched that movie.
- 1:12:33[SPEAKER_00]: And she pops up.
- 1:12:34[SPEAKER_00]: And I said, Jan, what are you doing here?
- 1:12:35[SPEAKER_00]: She gave you in here.
- 1:12:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 1:12:37[SPEAKER_00]: She also loves the Billy Ray.
- 1:12:40[SPEAKER_00]: Well, let's love what a good movie.
- 1:12:43[SPEAKER_00]: What an amazing actress.
- 1:12:44[SPEAKER_01]: I would like to go around the podcast.
- 1:12:46[SPEAKER_01]: I would absolutely love to have her love on the podcast.
- 1:12:50[SPEAKER_00]: In partings, we also have that team thing of, you know, the bangles, the shins, and we get a bunch of troubadores and the troubadores are played by quite big musicians.
- 1:13:08[SPEAKER_00]: And I call him Paladino and I think they all would have gotten applause like as they all came us, you know, especially Sam Phillips.
- 1:13:15[SPEAKER_00]: Like there's just a different level.
- 1:13:17[SPEAKER_00]: She is the soundtrack to the show.
- 1:13:19[SPEAKER_00]: She is the laws.
- 1:13:21[SPEAKER_00]: But I guess if we're going to mention the in Paladino as the artist of a beaver ate my thumb.
- 1:13:26[SPEAKER_00]: We also have to mention him as the down loaner.
- 1:13:29[SPEAKER_00]: It's true.
- 1:13:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's so true.
- 1:13:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, guest star.
- 1:13:33[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like that he would get in a plot.
- 1:13:36[SPEAKER_00]: Dan Pellettino would when he walks on.
- 1:13:38[SPEAKER_00]: Well now today.
- 1:13:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 1:13:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but like even like then just because like he's he wrote the show and maybe he didn't feel quite as iconic at the time As he does now for having his contribution to the show, which is quite funny that like his contribution to the show at the time Didn't feel as big then as it does now, but now we've been applauded you, Dan
- 1:13:58[SPEAKER_01]: We would have said they would applaud you.
- 1:14:00[SPEAKER_00]: Do you have anyone else in season six?
- 1:14:02[SPEAKER_01]: Nope, that's it.
- 1:14:03[SPEAKER_01]: That's all I've got for season six, but it was a lot.
- 1:14:05[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, as I was going through, I was just like, oh my, we had a lot.
- 1:14:09[SPEAKER_00]: We did have a lot.
- 1:14:10[SPEAKER_00]: Bare minimum we had Paul and got Aunt Madeline all right.
- 1:14:12[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
- 1:14:13[SPEAKER_01]: But moving into season seven, one of the most iconic people that I think makes an appearance here.
- 1:14:19[SPEAKER_01]: And this was kind of as her career was on the up and up was Christian Redder.
- 1:14:23[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and I love Kristen Ritter.
- 1:14:26[SPEAKER_01]: I know there are some mixed feelings about the character of Lucy as a whole, but she is.
- 1:14:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, as do I, but actually, and it's not a mix.
- 1:14:34[SPEAKER_01]: I don't like it.
- 1:14:36[SPEAKER_01]: Actually, I don't feel like that.
- 1:14:37[SPEAKER_01]: Don't like it.
- 1:14:39[SPEAKER_01]: But before that she was in Veronica Mars so yeah, this was not like her for this was not her first rodeo I mean she had been in a bunch of things she was in Mona Lisa's smile She was on law and order.
- 1:14:50[SPEAKER_00]: It's like a right path to the subject.
- 1:14:52[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe because oh, oh, I don't know It's just we should watch it up
- 1:14:57[SPEAKER_01]: But Gilmore girls, her credits on Gilmore girls were like quite a ways into her career.
- 1:15:00[SPEAKER_01]: Her first acting credit was in 2001, so it being like a 2006 to 2007 situation, 2005 to 2006 was Veronica Mars.
- 1:15:09[SPEAKER_01]: But then honestly, like I know her from Breaking Bad, I know her from don't trust the bitch on apartment 23.
- 1:15:18[SPEAKER_01]: Don't trust the B.
- 1:15:19[SPEAKER_01]: The B.
- 1:15:19[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry.
- 1:15:26[SPEAKER_00]: but also she's Jessica Jones.
- 1:15:28[SPEAKER_00]: She's Jessica Jones, yeah.
- 1:15:29[SPEAKER_01]: Like, so this girl goes on to become Jessica Jones.
- 1:15:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it takes her, it takes off after Gilmore rolls.
- 1:15:36[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like it's not quite to the degree of Romney Mallick, you know?
- 1:15:39[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, he's, he's, he's our, you know, if it's one end of this backdrop and he's on this end, she kind of fits closer to it though, because she, her career takes off quite quite well after Gilmore rolls.
- 1:15:51[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:15:51[SPEAKER_00]: She'd get the reverse applause.
- 1:15:53[SPEAKER_01]: And then the only other person I have received in seven is in the finale.
- 1:15:56[SPEAKER_00]: And it's Christiana, I'm in poor as herself, of course, as herself and as a as a guest of the dragonfly, which who wouldn't want to be a guest of the dragonfly, this one I feel of all of the cameos of stars in this feels so aligned.
- 1:16:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I totally agree.
- 1:16:16[SPEAKER_00]: that I feel had they not brought her on.
- 1:16:19[SPEAKER_00]: I wouldn't have thought anything of it, but having her there, it's so cheesy, so sweet.
- 1:16:23[SPEAKER_00]: And I love it.
- 1:16:25[SPEAKER_00]: I love my favorite parts of the finale is having her come in.
- 1:16:28[SPEAKER_00]: I do think that they don't like utilize like the scene itself.
- 1:16:32[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not obsessed with.
- 1:16:33[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going to lie the way that it like all transpires and everything that said.
- 1:16:37[SPEAKER_00]: But just the fact that she shows up in the show is iconic because she's mentioned very early on.
- 1:16:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:16:43[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, her being Lori Gilmour's icon and like yeah, she aspires to be.
- 1:16:47[SPEAKER_01]: We talked about this last year when we covered the series finale of Gilmour Girls that like even though season 7 was a little bit of a train wreck, story wise, they'd land at the plane really well.
- 1:16:58[SPEAKER_01]: And this, I think, hitting it off with this, yes, was really, really strong.
- 1:17:04[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, maybe a little cheesy but we like a little cheese every now and then.
- 1:17:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's original.
- 1:17:09[SPEAKER_00]: To Dairy, I love a little cheese in my storyline every now and then.
- 1:17:13[SPEAKER_01]: It's true.
- 1:17:13[SPEAKER_01]: And I like to hear.
- 1:17:14[SPEAKER_01]: I think it was like a perfect, I think she was a perfect sort of last guest start in the original series.
- 1:17:19[SPEAKER_00]: We go into the revival and I think that we would be here for quite some long time.
- 1:17:23[SPEAKER_00]: Talk about everyone who's beautiful.
- 1:17:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:17:26[SPEAKER_01]: I know a lot of people were like, oh, reach a ray and like certain people that they brought me with me that may Whitman.
- 1:17:32[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, speaking of ridders, Jason Ritter, Jason Ritter, you know, so it's like, yes, but that was a little more intentional than I feel like it was throughout the original series and kind of the whole of what we were talking about today is like stars before they were stars.
- 1:17:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he restarts the restars that more so related to the stars in the show like it's a lot of people who were in like Parenthood and who are really familiar with Lauren Graham or friends with her like champagne cake that To name all of them would there would be another 45 minutes of this episode It's so true and we covered a lot of them when we yeah talks about it on patreon So if you want to hear more of a breakdown there you can go to patreon and listen to our coverage over here in the life, but
- 1:18:17[SPEAKER_01]: I really loved kind of going through and researching all of these actors who I know.
- 1:18:22[SPEAKER_01]: I wouldn't say necessarily, I mean, with some of them, got their start on Gilmore Girls.
- 1:18:26[SPEAKER_01]: I would say those people are more of the icons we know and love today, people who couldn't quote, got their start.
- 1:18:32[SPEAKER_01]: Melissa McCarthy and Liza Wilde, Lauren Graham, Alexis Bladel, like, those are the people that got their start on Gilmore Girls.
- 1:18:40[SPEAKER_01]: But these were people who had, like,
- 1:18:43[SPEAKER_01]: Day playing roles on Gilmore Girls and went on to be really really huge iconic stars award-winning stars And it was really cool to read about their journeys and like yeah They became who they are today.
- 1:18:55[SPEAKER_01]: They're journey from Gilmore to startup and I loved it.
- 1:18:59[SPEAKER_01]: It was really cool.
- 1:18:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, give a wave Do I have a fave?
- 1:19:02[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, man I know you see them you're like oh my gosh
- 1:19:06[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I guess it would be Romimallic like that to me is the biggest like oh my god, it's your this is your first role and you're Freddie Mercury you're an you are Oscar winning actor, Romimallic yeah played the iconic role of Freddie Mercury and yeah by topic that's quite huge
- 1:19:27[SPEAKER_01]: You know, it's also one of those things we're like with Rami Malik with someone like Malor Hardin Malor Hardin had been acting her entire life If I could spot her in so many different things she was in 27 dresses, she was in Hannah Montana.
- 1:19:41[SPEAKER_01]: They had a Montana movie like yes, she was Jan from the office But similarly to like you know Jennifer Aniston was Rachel Green up friends like that is hard to fast that is who she is.
- 1:19:50[SPEAKER_01]: However, she has been in so many other things
- 1:19:54[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
- 1:19:55[SPEAKER_01]: And she was in so many rom-coms.
- 1:19:57[SPEAKER_01]: She really built a career for herself outside of the iconicals.
- 1:20:00[SPEAKER_01]: She played, I would say the same of Mollora Hardin in a different capacity.
- 1:20:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, she's been from the office.
- 1:20:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:20:06[SPEAKER_01]: You could spot her in a lot of things.
- 1:20:07[SPEAKER_01]: Spotting Rami Malik and his first acting role on your most favorite television show.
- 1:20:13[SPEAKER_01]: So no, he goes on to become an Oscar award winning actor and all he just kept going on about was assistant pastor Eric.
- 1:20:19[SPEAKER_01]: Like a
- 1:20:20[SPEAKER_01]: That is so iconic from assistant pastor Eric to Queen, but the name of his memoir, the journey of God, I hope so, get this man a book deal.
- 1:20:32[SPEAKER_00]: Let's do it.
- 1:20:32[SPEAKER_00]: We can do this for him.
- 1:20:34[SPEAKER_00]: I believe in us.
- 1:20:35[SPEAKER_00]: Rahmi, you need some help.
- 1:20:36[SPEAKER_01]: Let us know.
- 1:20:37[SPEAKER_01]: We know that we call we will answer.
- 1:20:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, exactly.
- 1:20:41[SPEAKER_00]: We should give him our voice mail.
- 1:20:43[SPEAKER_01]: I'm really sure.
- 1:20:44[SPEAKER_01]: Numbers in our bio.
- 1:20:45[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:20:45[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, speaking of stars who just ended up receiving a ton of accolades.
- 1:20:51[SPEAKER_01]: As we mentioned, it is Emmy awards season.
- 1:20:53[SPEAKER_01]: And one of the episodes that we've been teasing that we've been so excited to do is going through scenes that should have won Lauren Graham or at least gotten her nominated for an Emmy award.
- 1:21:03[SPEAKER_00]: And we'll have more to say on that in the next episode.
