- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things.
- 0:02Speaker 2: All right, here we go.
- 0:03Speaker 3: Good morning friends, It's Wednesday, six o'clock on the dock.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Thank you're starting your day with us. Rick, He's got
- 0:07Speaker 2: those three things.
- 0:08Speaker 4: Colin Jos injured himself while covering the Olympics in Tahiti.
- 0:13Speaker 4: I'm only giggling to myself right now because you know,
- 0:16Speaker 4: you have a bunch of athletes competing. Colin's not competing
- 0:20Speaker 4: in anything. He's just covering the Olympics. But he's been
- 0:23Speaker 4: known lately for not wearing shoes while covering the Olympics,
- 0:28Speaker 4: and that's kind of how he injured himself. He cut
- 0:30Speaker 4: his feet on the reef because that's where the surf
- 0:33Speaker 4: competition is happening, is in Tahiti, not in actual Paris,
- 0:36Speaker 4: So he cut up his toes on the reef.
- 0:38Speaker 5: He's got to wear bandages now.
- 0:39Speaker 4: So everybody noticed that he's obviously injured because he's not
- 0:43Speaker 4: wearing shoes.
- 0:44Speaker 5: That's like his shick right now.
- 0:48Speaker 4: Be opposed to social media saying quote, you know it's
- 0:51Speaker 4: going great when you've been to the Olympics medical tent
- 0:54Speaker 4: more than any of the athletes. So he's doing great
- 0:57Speaker 4: so far. Sparred Airlines is switching things. This is huge
- 1:01Speaker 4: news for them. Spirit's known for making you pay for
- 1:03Speaker 4: basically everything. If you want to breathe on the airplane,
- 1:05Speaker 4: you gotta pay for that. If you would like water,
- 1:07Speaker 4: you got to pay for that. Everything you have to
- 1:09Speaker 4: pay for. So this is all new. Starting August twenty seventh,
- 1:13Speaker 4: Spirit's gonna offer four categories of service. I think as
- 1:16Speaker 4: early as a sixteenth when you're booking, but the twenty
- 1:19Speaker 4: seventh is when it really kicks in. So the options
- 1:21Speaker 4: are Go Bake tickets, which include a spot in their
- 1:25Speaker 4: big front seats, which is like their idea of like
- 1:27Speaker 4: first class, and you will get the seat assignment, free
- 1:31Speaker 4: Wi Fi, a checked bag, one piece of cabin luggage,
- 1:35Speaker 4: and unlimited snacks and drinks including alcoholic beverages. The one
- 1:41Speaker 4: below that is called Go Comfy, which you're gonna get
- 1:43Speaker 4: a seat with standard leg room. You're gonna have a
- 1:46Speaker 4: blocked middle seat for extra space. It includes earlier boarding,
- 1:50Speaker 4: one snack and one non alcoholic.
- 1:53Speaker 5: Beverage, and a checked bag and carry on. And then
- 1:56Speaker 5: Go Savvy you get a checked bag or a carry
- 1:59Speaker 5: on on one or the other.
- 2:01Speaker 4: And then just their Go Fair is going to be
- 2:03Speaker 4: their standard normal Spirit fair right now, where you get
- 2:05Speaker 4: nothing and you have to pay for it.
- 2:07Speaker 2: It sounded like where you're going, it's like the cheapest tike.
- 2:09Speaker 2: You just have to stand.
- 2:10Speaker 4: That's essentially, well, that's where it's at right now. You
- 2:12Speaker 4: have to pay for your seat, you have to pay
- 2:14Speaker 4: for everything. But yeah, this is huge for them because
- 2:16Speaker 4: they only have that one option essentially right now. The
- 2:19Speaker 4: only other option is like, oh, if you'd like a
- 2:21Speaker 4: little bit more room, you can buy an upgrade seed.
- 2:23Speaker 4: Outside of that, you're gonna get a bunch of other
- 2:25Speaker 4: stuff that starts, like I said, I believe when you're
- 2:28Speaker 4: booking the sixteenth, but the twenty seventh is when it
- 2:30Speaker 4: actually kicks in for when you were flying. Second Harvest
- 2:34Speaker 4: Food Bank in Middle Tennessee is hosting a food drive
- 2:36Speaker 4: at nashal ESC's match tonight, So if you're going and
- 2:39Speaker 4: you want to contribute to they're accepting donations at bins
- 2:42Speaker 4: located at Gates A through g The requesting items like
- 2:46Speaker 4: peanut butter, canned chicken, tuna, canned veggies, and fruit, things
- 2:50Speaker 4: like pasta.
- 2:51Speaker 5: Cereal, and rice.
- 2:52Speaker 4: Things that last a while, you know, have a longer
- 2:54Speaker 4: shelf life is what they're looking for. So, like I said,
- 2:56Speaker 4: if you're going tonight, add to the bins.
- 2:59Speaker 5: It's for great cause. I'm Ricky Sanchez. And those are
- 3:02Speaker 5: the three things you need to know.
- 3:03Speaker 6: One oh seven five of the River.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and manow in the morning.

- 3:16Speaker 3: oh seven. Of course, everybody you know knows the Sounds
- 3:19Speaker 3: because I famous throw out a perfect first pitch over there.
- 3:21Speaker 4: Only why everybody knows about it, it's because of you,
- 3:24Speaker 4: Kevin Man.
- 3:24Speaker 3: You want to be where I threw out that first pitch.
- 3:27Speaker 3: Call Now, my gosh, chat with you next. It won't
- 3:29Speaker 3: be awkward at all. This conversation was.
- 3:30Speaker 5: One good throw. It was perfect, one good throw.
- 3:34Speaker 1: One oh seven five the River, Ricky, Zach and Mano
- 3:38Speaker 1: in the morning.

- 3:40Speaker 1: No?
- 3:40Speaker 7: Why shut up? Why is this the river?
- 3:43Speaker 5: It's the river? What's your name?
- 3:46Speaker 7: This is the second time in my whole life I've
- 3:48Speaker 7: ever got the radio, and the last time it was

- 3:51Speaker 5: Good morning. What's your name and where are you calling from?

- 4:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:18Speaker 7: No, no, you guys are awesome.
- 4:19Speaker 2: You don't have to reveal too much. But you guys,
- 4:21Speaker 2: what was the last time you had like an incident overnight.
- 4:24Speaker 8: Night before last?
- 4:25Speaker 5: Oh?
- 4:26Speaker 7: Just a poor drunk guy that we had a you know,
- 4:29Speaker 7: run off.

- 4:31Speaker 5: That checks out for Nashville.
- 4:32Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm sure you're like just used to all of
- 4:35Speaker 3: it at this point. But like you get to walk around,
- 4:36Speaker 3: you get the whole place to yourself overnight.
- 4:38Speaker 4: Huh.
- 4:38Speaker 7: Oh yeah.
- 4:39Speaker 4: Is it anything like the night of at the museum
- 4:42Speaker 4: like that movie where like all the things come to life?
- 4:44Speaker 5: But is it like creepy at night?
- 4:46Speaker 1: Oh?
- 4:46Speaker 7: I can be because yet the exhibits talk.
- 4:49Speaker 4: Oh my god, wow, that would freak me out.
- 4:54Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 4:54Speaker 7: Yeah, Well I'm in security, so I kind of built
- 4:57Speaker 7: a little nerve up so it doesn't get to me
- 4:59Speaker 7: too much. But every once in a while I'll be like, nope,
- 5:01Speaker 7: I'm not walking in that room.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Yeah, does any of the stuff? Are there any rumors
- 5:05Speaker 2: about anything being haunted?
- 5:06Speaker 7: Yeah, they're supposed to be some type of spirit in
- 5:09Speaker 7: the CMI theater.
- 5:11Speaker 5: Oh, this is really cool. I feel like we have

- 6:15Speaker 2: You know, it's been so fun.
- 6:16Speaker 3: We had three shows and if you've heard us raving
- 6:18Speaker 3: about them, it's not just because we work here. I
- 6:21Speaker 3: mean they really are. They're my favorite things I've done
- 6:23Speaker 3: all summer.
- 6:24Speaker 2: Like they're incredible.

- 6:49Speaker 5: There's a line.

- 6:58Speaker 2: Your kids, yeah, bring the whole thing. You know what

- 7:02Speaker 2: which I love.
- 7:03Speaker 3: Is huge fans, huge thing, gigantic circular fish and it's covered.
- 7:07Speaker 9: It rains in a little bit, like the show will
- 7:10Speaker 9: still go on, rain or shine. It will still happen.
- 7:12Speaker 3: Like our last two those are pretty hot nights. But yeah,
- 7:14Speaker 3: it felt very comfortable up there on the roof. It's
- 7:16Speaker 3: gonna be a great night again. Brooke, Alex is opening

- 7:26Speaker 2: Three things you.
- 7:27Speaker 3: Need to know alright, seven o'clock on this final day
- 7:30Speaker 3: of July.
- 7:31Speaker 2: That's crazy. August starts tomorrow. Ricky's got those three things.
- 7:34Speaker 5: Some Olympics updates for you.
- 7:36Speaker 4: The US women's gymnastics team won gold in the team final.
- 7:40Speaker 5: This is huge.
- 7:41Speaker 4: Simoonbiles is now the most decorated American gymnast in the
- 7:44Speaker 4: history of the Olympics with eight medals, so congratulations to
- 7:48Speaker 4: the goat.
- 7:48Speaker 5: That is just wild.
- 7:50Speaker 4: The women's rugby seven's won their first medal in that
- 7:53Speaker 4: event ever with a bronze.
- 7:55Speaker 5: This is the first time that Team USA has.
- 7:57Speaker 4: Brought home a medal in rugby for men or women,
- 7:59Speaker 4: so can congratulations to them.
- 8:01Speaker 5: And right now the US is leading in metals.
- 8:03Speaker 4: So congratulations to all the Olympians right now for just
- 8:07Speaker 4: doing an amazing job. Today the competition continues with equestrian events,
- 8:11Speaker 4: Men's artistic individual all round, in gymnastics, Freestyle, BMX.
- 8:15Speaker 5: So many more.
- 8:16Speaker 4: You can keep up to date with all of it
- 8:17Speaker 4: on the free iHeartRadio app. There is a specific channel
- 8:20Speaker 4: for you to listen to so that you can know
- 8:21Speaker 4: everything that's happening. It's a lot more discreete than watching
- 8:24Speaker 4: it on your laptop. If you're on work, just heads up,
- 8:27Speaker 4: you can pop your little headphones in and listen to
- 8:29Speaker 4: everything happening. Chipotle has a new Burrito Proof beauty product,
- 8:33Speaker 4: so today's national avocado day.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Oh, I didn't get you anything?
- 8:39Speaker 5: Where's why amagapo no So.
- 8:41Speaker 4: To celebrate, Chipotle has a collab with Wonderskin. They've introduced
- 8:45Speaker 4: their first beauty product. It's a burrito proof lipstain called Lipultae.
- 8:51Speaker 4: The lipstain is inspired by guacamole, so when you put
- 8:53Speaker 4: it on, it's like this really green color, and then
- 8:56Speaker 4: when you peel off the application, it's a nude rose.
- 9:00Speaker 4: But the idea is that it's supposed to kind of
- 9:01Speaker 4: look like gwop okay. It's supposed to be long lasting.
- 9:04Speaker 4: You're supposed to be able to beat your burritos with
- 9:06Speaker 4: it on, all that good stuff. You could buy it
- 9:09Speaker 4: online at wonderskin dot com if you'd like to try
- 9:12Speaker 4: it out.
- 9:12Speaker 5: It's going for thirty bucks right now.
- 9:14Speaker 4: And the Tennessee Titans have announced the third annual Fantasy
- 9:17Speaker 4: Football Draft Party. The event is happening Tuesday, September third.
- 9:21Speaker 4: You can grab tickets if you're twenty one and over
- 9:23Speaker 4: for seven hundred and fifty bucks. Ticket includes a private
- 9:26Speaker 4: suite with a happy hour, sideline, access for pre draft photos,
- 9:30Speaker 4: and a locker room tour. So pretty cool stuff that
- 9:32Speaker 4: you get for the ticket Rice. Okay, I'm Rickie Sanchez,
- 9:35Speaker 4: and those are the three things you need to know.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and menow in the morning.
- 9:39Speaker 6: On one oh seven five the River.
- 9:41Speaker 4: Zach's fax on one o seven five the river kind
- 9:43Speaker 4: of wild.
- 9:44Speaker 9: But apparently this used to be an Olympic event. Architecture
- 9:48Speaker 9: was an Olympic event. How apparently they would literally sit
- 9:52Speaker 9: there and they would draw their blueprints for town planning
- 9:55Speaker 9: and design, and so they would compete in the Olympics
- 9:58Speaker 9: on who would have the best blueprint.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Riveting.
- 10:01Speaker 9: I know, so it's no longer part of the Olympics.
- 10:03Speaker 9: Thank you, Lord.
- 10:06Speaker 2: And riveting. By the way, that was a pun, but
- 10:08Speaker 2: it was unintentional his rivets building. Okay, that's your fact
- 10:12Speaker 2: of the day.
- 10:13Speaker 4: You know, jokes are so much better when you have
- 10:15Speaker 4: to explain them, Kevin, thank.
- 10:16Speaker 6: You, Ricky is Zach and manno in the morning.
- 10:20Speaker 4: On good morning, Justine in White's Creek. It's one oh
- 10:25Speaker 4: seven five the River. You've got quite the situation going
- 10:29Speaker 4: on with your brother's wedding.
- 10:32Speaker 8: Yeah, it's a relatively normal situation in that my brother
- 10:36Speaker 8: is getting married and his fiance wants me to be
- 10:39Speaker 8: in the wedding party.
- 10:40Speaker 5: Congratulations, thank you, Yes, very sweet.
- 10:44Speaker 8: The caveat is my brother is a nudist, okay, and
- 10:50Speaker 8: I respect his decisions. However, I wasn't expecting it to
- 10:55Speaker 8: be a nudist wedding.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Well oh oh, I really hope were going there.
- 11:01Speaker 8: I was hoping that I wouldn't have to go there too.
- 11:06Speaker 8: The advice that I need is to know if I'm
- 11:10Speaker 8: the jerk for not wanting to be a part of
- 11:14Speaker 8: the wedding or even go to the wedding.
- 11:16Speaker 4: Okay, so, Justine, you've made it one hundred percent a
- 11:19Speaker 4: decision that you are not going to go to this
- 11:21Speaker 4: wedding and you're not going to be a part of
- 11:23Speaker 4: this wedding.
- 11:24Speaker 8: I'm asking if I'm justified in this decision. But yes,
- 11:27Speaker 8: I'm pretty sure that I don't want to be a
- 11:30Speaker 8: part of a wedding where the clothing is not a
- 11:33Speaker 8: part of the wedding.
- 11:34Speaker 4: Is there a specific reason. I know that sounds weird
- 11:37Speaker 4: because I want.
- 11:37Speaker 2: To crawl out of my skin right now?
- 11:39Speaker 5: Is there a specific reason why that bothers you?
- 11:43Speaker 4: I mean, yeah, so obvious, But like, what do you mean, Ricky,
- 11:46Speaker 4: would you want to say your brother naked?
- 11:48Speaker 5: Well, that's what I'm asking is that what bothers her?
- 11:51Speaker 5: Is it because it's her family?
- 11:52Speaker 4: Like if it were a friend's the newdest wedding, would
- 11:54Speaker 4: you go to a friend?
- 11:55Speaker 8: Bottom line, I don't want to see anyone in my
- 11:59Speaker 8: family naked, nor do I want to be naked around
- 12:03Speaker 8: my family.
- 12:03Speaker 2: That's the quote of the day right there.
- 12:05Speaker 4: Well, that's what I was kidding, because if it was
- 12:07Speaker 4: a friend's nudest wedding, would you go to a friend's
- 12:10Speaker 4: nudest wedding?
- 12:11Speaker 8: I would not be in a friend's nudist wedding.
- 12:14Speaker 9: Okay, I feel like it depends on the friend.
- 12:16Speaker 2: I don't want to offend their culture.
- 12:18Speaker 3: I really don't, But I think if you're gonna do this,
- 12:21Speaker 3: you have to have a clothing optional thing. If people
- 12:23Speaker 3: are not comfortable, whether you can't force people to do that,
- 12:26Speaker 3: I think you should be able to wear clothes or
- 12:27Speaker 3: not go.
- 12:28Speaker 8: Yes, that is exactly what I said. However, clothing optional
- 12:32Speaker 8: isn't an option. As visits in you.
- 12:35Speaker 9: You're completely justified in not going to this wedding. I
- 12:37Speaker 9: want to crawl out of my skin right now, the
- 12:40Speaker 9: idea of seeing anybody in my family completely naked for
- 12:44Speaker 9: hours on end, because it's the wedding, it's the reception,
- 12:47Speaker 9: it's dancing, like there's.
- 12:48Speaker 2: So much you know what people do a wedding exact
- 12:50Speaker 2: They hug not Oh my god, I think you're completely
- 12:55Speaker 2: justified and.
- 12:55Speaker 8: Not going thank you.
- 12:57Speaker 5: Just see. I kind of feel like you should, uh, maybe.
- 13:00Speaker 4: Find a compromise here, Maybe talk to your brother about
- 13:03Speaker 4: some sort of compromise that you could still be involved
- 13:05Speaker 4: in this.
- 13:06Speaker 2: Send them a really good gift.
- 13:07Speaker 8: Let me ask you, what is the compromise? Wearing dust
- 13:11Speaker 8: taped sunglasses? So I don't see anything any wearing.
- 13:16Speaker 5: I don't need that idea, Justine.
- 13:18Speaker 4: Let's see what everybody else has to say.
- 13:20Speaker 3: Okay, seven nine seven. If you have an opinion on this,
- 13:25Speaker 3: good luck, Justine. Yes, stay tuned for some advice.
- 13:28Speaker 1: Thank Ricky zachon Mano.
- 13:30Speaker 4: In the morning on one, Justina called us and asked
- 13:34Speaker 4: us for some advice on whether or not she's being
- 13:37Speaker 4: unreasonable for not going to her brother's wedding because it's
- 13:41Speaker 4: going to be a newdist naturist naturists, so they're all
- 13:47Speaker 4: not wearing any clothes.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Here is the what do I call the quote of
- 13:49Speaker 2: the day. This is sort of the headline of her call.
- 13:51Speaker 8: Bottom line, I don't want to see anyone in my
- 13:54Speaker 8: family naked, nor do I want to be naked around
- 13:58Speaker 8: my family.
- 13:59Speaker 5: That's fair for you.
- 14:00Speaker 4: With that statement understandable, I kind of think this is
- 14:02Speaker 4: a genius idea to get nobody to go to your wedding.
- 14:05Speaker 2: Are you considering this now?
- 14:06Speaker 5: I would save so much money on a wedding dress.
- 14:08Speaker 4: That's true, because wedding dresses are pretty expensive. Sun go
- 14:12Speaker 4: for a few thousand dollars, so I would save money
- 14:15Speaker 4: on a wedding dress.
- 14:16Speaker 5: I would save money on the guest list because I
- 14:17Speaker 5: wouldn't invite that many people anymore.
- 14:19Speaker 2: I definitely come.
- 14:22Speaker 4: Oh see, Zach's already out, so that's one last person
- 14:24Speaker 4: I gotta worry about.
- 14:25Speaker 2: I'm coming. Can I wear can't wear a tie? Just
- 14:28Speaker 2: a really long time? I like that idea, you'll look
- 14:32Speaker 2: like borat.
- 14:35Speaker 3: It does seem like the general consensus with the text
- 14:37Speaker 3: for getting and stuff, people agreed that she should be
- 14:40Speaker 3: able to wear something, which she said is not an option,
- 14:42Speaker 3: or not go completely within her rights to just not go.
- 14:45Speaker 2: You can't force.
- 14:46Speaker 5: People to do this.
- 14:46Speaker 4: I just feel like there's got to be some sort
- 14:48Speaker 4: of compromise that could happen.
- 14:49Speaker 9: I'm just so intrigued on what compromise could possibly.
- 14:53Speaker 5: Happen that you wear some clothes.
- 14:56Speaker 2: I still don't want to see the other people make
- 14:58Speaker 2: it y.
- 15:00Speaker 8: Point.
- 15:01Speaker 5: I just I don't know.
- 15:01Speaker 4: I hate the idea for not going to a brother's wedding.
- 15:04Speaker 4: I feel like that just really is a sad moment.
- 15:06Speaker 4: That's a big day. You want to be involved in
- 15:09Speaker 4: the loved one.
- 15:09Speaker 9: You're saying, everybody breaks up eventually, so she'll go to
- 15:13Speaker 9: the second wedding.
- 15:15Speaker 2: No, no, no, don't. She'll go to the next wedding.
- 15:18Speaker 5: After they get divorced. The next wedding. Do you think
- 15:20Speaker 5: the next wedding hill we're closed? Hopefully we do.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Let's not put this out there. Why are we talking
- 15:24Speaker 2: about the next wedding. This one hasn't even happened. Everybody
- 15:26Speaker 2: breaks up.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Eventually, Ricky, Zach and Mennow in the morning.
- 15:30Speaker 2: On Kinley and Nashville. Would you go if this was
- 15:34Speaker 2: your sibling.
- 15:35Speaker 8: Okay, I'll probably go, I was.
- 15:37Speaker 1: I don't.
- 15:37Speaker 8: I wouldn't want you, but I think I would.
- 15:39Speaker 5: You wouldn't want to go, but you would still go. Yeah,
- 15:41Speaker 5: I see.
- 15:42Speaker 4: I feel like that's kind of where My thought process
- 15:44Speaker 4: was that your sibling.
- 15:45Speaker 8: Yeah, that's why I was still I was finding myself
- 15:48Speaker 8: at the table.
- 15:49Speaker 1: That's what I think I'll be.
- 15:51Speaker 2: I'd be camped at the bar. I would just say
- 15:52Speaker 2: I would try really hard to not remember any of it.
- 15:55Speaker 9: I would have already been drinking a little. Now, these
- 15:58Speaker 9: people the way, they're gonna have to deep clean all
- 16:01Speaker 9: of the seats and everything from these nasty people sitting
- 16:04Speaker 9: on them.
- 16:05Speaker 3: That's probably the end of this conversation. We have Taate
- 16:08Speaker 3: McCray tickets coming up at seven forty five. McKinley, thank
- 16:11Speaker 3: you for calling.

- 16:31Speaker 4: Hopefully Zach won't trample all over everyone talking and then.
- 16:35Speaker 3: Atali did he Y'll go as they were supposed to
- 16:37Speaker 3: be one of those things. We're gonna have to redo

- 16:46Speaker 4: McCray ticket.
- 16:47Speaker 3: She's gonna be here next week. And yeah, you gotta
- 16:49Speaker 3: get two out of three of them right. A Canada

- 17:25Speaker 2: all this week?
- 17:26Speaker 6: Not much?
- 17:27Speaker 2: Okay.
- 17:28Speaker 3: I'm gonna ask you some questions about, you know, Canadians
- 17:31Speaker 3: or things happening in Canada.
- 17:33Speaker 2: If you get two out of three of them right,
- 17:34Speaker 2: you're going to see one of Canada's finest. Tate McCrae.
- 17:37Speaker 3: Hey, she's gonna be at a send ampitheater next Tuesday.
- 17:42Speaker 2: Ready, Yeah, let's play the game. You're Canada quiz starts
- 17:45Speaker 2: right now. All right, this question is a little weird,
- 17:49Speaker 2: so just bear with me here.
- 17:50Speaker 3: Your answer to this is gonna be the name of
- 17:52Speaker 3: Canadian rock band.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Okay.
- 17:55Speaker 3: If you were buying something that costs ninety five cents
- 17:59Speaker 3: and you paid it, you would.
- 18:01Speaker 5: Then get a.
- 18:05Speaker 3: Five.
- 18:06Speaker 8: What do you mean?
- 18:07Speaker 3: Okay, what's another word for that?
- 18:11Speaker 5: Yay?
- 18:11Speaker 4: There with me a while.
- 18:14Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, it's okay, we got there.
- 18:16Speaker 7: Uh.
- 18:16Speaker 3: The Blue Jays are a professional baseball team based in
- 18:19Speaker 3: what Canadian city?
- 18:21Speaker 5: You get this?
- 18:22Speaker 2: You win? Yeh whoa great job, that's it?
- 18:29Speaker 1: You win?
- 18:29Speaker 2: Oh yeah, you were panicking for nothing, all those.
- 18:32Speaker 4: Weird noises you need if Oh my god, I can
- 18:36Speaker 4: believe I want something.
- 18:37Speaker 3: Yeah, you're going to see Tate McCray next Tuesday night.
- 18:39Speaker 3: She's gonna be the send amnitheater. She puts on such
- 18:41Speaker 3: a great show.
- 18:42Speaker 2: You will be there. Thank you so much. I'm so excited.
- 18:45Speaker 5: Congratulations, Thank you.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Three things you need to.
- 18:49Speaker 3: Know eight o'clock on this Wednesday morning. We always appreciate
- 18:52Speaker 3: you starting your day with us.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Thank you. You made a wise choice. Ricky's got those
- 18:55Speaker 2: three things.
- 18:56Speaker 4: Tesla has recalled one point eight million cars, so the
- 19:00Speaker 4: issue right now is with their unlatched hoods. Apparently this
- 19:04Speaker 4: is the ninth recall of the year, so a lot
- 19:06Speaker 4: of Tesla owners are a little upset about that, which
- 19:08Speaker 4: makes sense. And the recalled vehicles include the Tesla three
- 19:12Speaker 4: model produced since twenty seventeen, all Tesla Model S vehicles
- 19:17Speaker 4: manufactured since twenty thirteen, all Model X vehicles manufactured since
- 19:23Speaker 4: twenty sixteen, and all Model Y vehicles manufactured since twenty twenty.
- 19:28Speaker 4: There's just so many here, and I know that's obviously
- 19:30Speaker 4: not funny because it's very frustrating. If there's nine recalls
- 19:34Speaker 4: in a year, that becomes really annoying. But to remedy
- 19:37Speaker 4: the issue, they've released an over the air software update
- 19:41Speaker 4: and then they say it's going to fix everything, So
- 19:43Speaker 4: just update your car and you should be okay if
- 19:45Speaker 4: you have it. It's very weird sentence to say, but
- 19:48Speaker 4: if you have a Tesla, that's what you should do
- 19:49Speaker 4: and then hopefully it all be resolved. Target's launching their
- 19:53Speaker 4: first denim take back event and this is super cool.
- 19:55Speaker 4: So from August fourth to the tenth, you can recycle
- 19:59Speaker 4: any brand of you outgrown denim that you have in
- 20:01Speaker 4: the boxes outside of Target. All over stores in Tennessee
- 20:04Speaker 4: are gonna have these boxes.
- 20:05Speaker 5: You just donated them there and you can.
- 20:08Speaker 4: Drop up, drop off up to five items and you
- 20:11Speaker 4: will receive twenty percent off of a new denim apparel
- 20:14Speaker 4: purchase with your Target circle.
- 20:15Speaker 3: Do you think they'll take the bottom of my pants
- 20:18Speaker 3: that I cut off to turn into jeorts?
- 20:19Speaker 5: Gotta be full pants? Sorry? Sorry, Yeah, that's a huge Bummurphrey.
- 20:24Speaker 2: I do make my own jorts and I am proud
- 20:26Speaker 2: of that.
- 20:26Speaker 5: Fan August Sports A tenth is when you can recycle
- 20:29Speaker 5: your jeens.
- 20:30Speaker 4: It's really important that you do this too, because it's
- 20:31Speaker 4: a great way for you to get a discount and
- 20:34Speaker 4: to help recycle and make sure that people are using
- 20:37Speaker 4: them for good things and they're not just going into
- 20:39Speaker 4: a pile of heap of garbage. The Lipstick Lounge has
- 20:42Speaker 4: made the list of twenty seven best bars across America
- 20:45Speaker 4: on USA Today Very Cool. In the article, they said, quote,
- 20:50Speaker 4: it's a colorful roush just to good time with something
- 20:54Speaker 4: music and costumes everywhere, even on a Sunday afternoon. Yes,
- 20:58Speaker 4: Lipstick Lounge is a gay bar. But for most it's
- 21:00Speaker 4: a bar for humans. It's owners and are fond of
- 21:03Speaker 4: saying that it's a bar for anyone who likes to
- 21:06Speaker 4: have fun in a welcoming but wild atmosphere.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Love to see it.
- 21:10Speaker 5: So go check out Lipstick Lounge if you haven't. If
- 21:12Speaker 5: you have, go tell them you.
- 21:13Speaker 4: Know, congratulations are making this list.
- 21:15Speaker 5: That's a big deal. I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are
- 21:17Speaker 5: the three things you need to know.
- 21:19Speaker 6: Ricky, Zach and Manno in the morning.
- 21:21Speaker 1: On the River, I.
- 21:24Speaker 5: Have a hot take.
- 21:25Speaker 2: Oh oh, I gotta hit the thing. Here we go.
- 21:27Speaker 5: Hold this is it's a Ricky hot take. Okay, this
- 21:32Speaker 5: is the Olympics edition.
- 21:34Speaker 4: I found out how much Olympians are getting paid for
- 21:37Speaker 4: winning medals, and I feel like they should be paid
- 21:40Speaker 4: far more than what we're paying them.
- 21:42Speaker 5: Tmusay.
- 21:43Speaker 4: At the Olympics when they win gold, they only make
- 21:47Speaker 4: thirty seven thousand, five hundred dollars for winning.
- 21:49Speaker 5: A gold medal.
- 21:50Speaker 2: That is crazy for a silver.
- 21:52Speaker 4: Twenty two thousand, five hundred and fifteen thousand for a
- 21:55Speaker 4: bronze medal.
- 21:56Speaker 5: Well, that just doesn't seem like enough money to me.
- 21:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I definitely would have thought more. I mean, I
- 22:01Speaker 3: guess then they could.
- 22:02Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 22:03Speaker 5: Now they're supposed to be the best of the best.
- 22:05Speaker 3: Not everybody's able to parlay that success into endorsements and stuff,
- 22:09Speaker 3: So it's not like, right, yeah, you know the random.
- 22:11Speaker 5: But also you're supposed to be the best of the best.
- 22:13Speaker 4: If you're like the best doctor, you're gonna be paid
- 22:16Speaker 4: a whole lot of money. Yeah, if you're the best gymnast,
- 22:20Speaker 4: if you're Simone Biles, which I'm sure she's making plenty
- 22:22Speaker 4: of endorsements. I still feel like Simone Biles, though, should
- 22:24Speaker 4: be making more than thirty seven, five hundred dollars.
- 22:27Speaker 3: Call a six one five, seven, three seven nine one
- 22:29Speaker 3: oh seven if you agree or disagree with Ricky's hot
- 22:32Speaker 3: takes six one five seven, three seven nine seven and
- 22:35Speaker 3: we'll tell you what some of the other countries pay
- 22:36Speaker 3: as well.
- 22:37Speaker 1: It's coming up next on The Ricky Second Man in
- 22:40Speaker 1: the Morning, on Ricky shared a hot take.
- 22:44Speaker 5: It's time to discuss.
- 22:45Speaker 1: Wow.
- 22:46Speaker 4: This is my hot take, is that I think that
- 22:50Speaker 4: Olympians deserve more money for winning medals for Team USA
- 22:54Speaker 4: because I looked it up and Team USA does not
- 22:57Speaker 4: make that much money for winning these medals. Athletes make
- 23:00Speaker 4: thirty seven thousand, five hundred dollars for cold gold medals,
- 23:03Speaker 4: twenty two thousand, five hundred for silver, and fifteen thousand
- 23:07Speaker 4: for bronze.
- 23:08Speaker 2: Wow, and that just.
- 23:09Speaker 4: Doesn't seem like a lot of money for such an
- 23:12Speaker 4: amazing feat. You're the best of the best in the US,
- 23:15Speaker 4: and then on top of that, if you win gold,
- 23:17Speaker 4: that means you are the best of the best in
- 23:19Speaker 4: the world. Yeh yeah, and we're gonna give you thirty
- 23:21Speaker 4: seven thousand, five hundred.
- 23:23Speaker 5: Dollars for that.
- 23:23Speaker 3: Then you put that in perspective, share some what some
- 23:26Speaker 3: of the other countries are how other.
- 23:27Speaker 4: Countries are paying are vastly more like Hong Kong is
- 23:31Speaker 4: paying an insane amount of money. Okay, so they will
- 23:34Speaker 4: give their gold medalists six million Hong Kong dollars, which
- 23:39Speaker 4: equates to seven hundred and sixty eight thousand US dollars.
- 23:42Speaker 5: What uh huh.
- 23:44Speaker 4: Singapore is up there as well with one million Singapore dollars,
- 23:48Speaker 4: which is seven hundred and forty five thousand, three hundred
- 23:51Speaker 4: US dollars.
- 23:52Speaker 3: So that's close to a million US dollars. I mean,
- 23:54Speaker 3: that's three quarters of a million rands.
- 23:56Speaker 2: That's wild.
- 23:57Speaker 4: Gold medalists are getting eighty thousand euros, which is eighty six,
- 24:01Speaker 4: five hundred and twenty eight US dollars, which I feel
- 24:04Speaker 4: like that makes a little more sense. I feel like
- 24:05Speaker 4: a gold medal should be making one hundred k minimum.
- 24:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I guess gold medal.
- 24:09Speaker 3: It's incentivizing athletes from other countries from you know, working hard,
- 24:14Speaker 3: I guess.
- 24:14Speaker 4: And I get Also, the whole idea is like, you're
- 24:16Speaker 4: an Olympian, you're representing your country, and that's supposed to
- 24:19Speaker 4: be like the whole gist of it.
- 24:22Speaker 5: But I feel like it's just not enough money.
- 24:24Speaker 4: Yeah, No, I quite agree to the feet that they
- 24:27Speaker 4: are accomplishing.
- 24:28Speaker 2: Sometimes your hot takes give me a little controversial. I
- 24:31Speaker 2: agree with you on this one. I think most people
- 24:32Speaker 2: agree with you on this one.
- 24:33Speaker 4: I'm shocked that you agree because normally I'm just so
- 24:35Speaker 4: used to people disagree.
- 24:36Speaker 3: With me say things like I don't think children should
- 24:40Speaker 3: eat dinner.
- 24:42Speaker 5: Never said that, Kevin. I'm not insane, but I get
- 24:46Speaker 5: what you're saying.
- 24:46Speaker 2: They're more controversial controversial.
- 24:48Speaker 4: We need to start paying our olympians more in the US,
- 24:50Speaker 4: that's all I gotta say.
- 24:51Speaker 2: Agreed, And this has been a ricky hot take.
- 24:55Speaker 6: Ricky, is Zach and Manno in the morning.
- 24:58Speaker 1: On they
