🚨 Silver ALERT! 🚨 Vanishing in Real Time 🦍🦍 THIS Has Never Happened Before · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

0:00
Unbelievable news in the world of precious metals, creating for
0:05
us an unprecedented historical environment for gold and silver.
0:11
We're going to look at some crazy developments today,
0:14
shortages in the world of silver.
0:17
Two top analysts calling for $100 silver and not some far off
0:23
a date in the distance. We're talking very, very near
0:27
term. Of course, we're going to
0:29
address, there's some people out there saying that we're in a
0:32
bubble for silver. We'll talk about that.
0:34
And of course, the major news story of the weekend, the major
0:38
geopolitical development, but importantly, how that will
0:43
affect the price of gold and silver in the short term and the
0:46
long term. One thing we know for sure, it's
0:49
a big honor when you join us down here in the basement.
0:51
Thank you for being here. Your time is valuable.
0:54
We honor you. Please subscribe to the channel.
0:57
Press that button, press the bell so you get notified every
1:00
time we go live. And most importantly, enjoy your
1:03
time down here in the basement. We want to dig and we dig a
1:06
little deeper because we're in a basement right into what's
1:09
really going on in the world of gold and silver.
1:13
Let's get started by talking about silver and is there a
1:16
silver shortage, right? There's a lot of hysteria out
1:20
there, a lot of news, some people saying there's a shortage
1:22
of silver, shortage of silver. Let's dig in and I'll give you
1:25
my take on what's going on and some evidence, reasons and
1:28
examples, but also some analysis on why we want to keep a close
1:33
eye on what is happening. So we're getting a lot of
1:36
reports like this one right here came from Silver Trade, SD
1:41
Bullion, JM Bullion Hold on One Second and APMEX are sold out of
1:48
1000 oz COMEX good delivery silver bars.
1:54
That tells us something very, very interesting guys.
1:57
That's the big boys. Those are the big bars that are
1:59
used on the big exchanges, right?
2:01
The you know, supposedly, you know, back up the paper make
2:06
believe contracts. Those apparently are now sold
2:09
out at the big retailers. That tells us that this big
2:14
physical demand, right? Not the paper demand, but the
2:17
physical demand and not so much on the retail side, although
2:21
we're going to look at some interesting developments there.
2:23
But on the large scale investment side, that physical
2:27
is indeed under stress. I find this super, super
2:31
interesting. Now, yesterday I went to my
2:34
local coin shop. Let's switch gears.
2:37
Hold on one second. Here.
2:39
There we are. Now we're back.
2:41
Hey, good to see you again. I went to my local coin shop.
2:43
It's a big local coin shop to see what things look like there.
2:48
I didn't buy any silver. OK, I did buy 4 empty tubes for
2:52
storage, whatever, but nonetheless it was a very active
2:57
environment. There was not a line out the
2:59
door, OK, but I also hung around for 5 or 10 minutes.
3:03
I heard one of the very experienced clerks.
3:05
He's been there at least 20 years, but the people that work,
3:09
they've got like 40 people working at this coin shop
3:12
telling one of the customers that it's like they're not wiped
3:15
out. They had some inventory, but
3:17
basically that they were under some pretty serious stress when
3:21
it comes to their inventory of silver.
3:23
So it's getting very interesting, but we want to talk
3:26
about retail demand and why and why we're not going to be so
3:32
super concerned, but we're seeing two things.
3:33
I went out before I went live here, I went to all the big
3:37
major bullion dealer websites, looked at 10 oz bars, one ounce
3:40
bars, coins, different things. We're not going to say
3:43
everything sold out, but a lot is OK.
3:46
There's a lot of things that are either not available or on
3:49
pre-order, OK. But the other interesting thing
3:53
that we're seeing, and now we're almost seeing this at all the
3:56
major online bullion dealers and those are the ones we really,
3:59
that's where we can get data from, is they're all talking
4:03
about major shipping delay, 10 days, 15 days.
4:07
Here's one that was shared with me.
4:09
I want to show with you from TD. Hold on here, Yep, from Silver
4:15
Ape King. Ape King.
4:16
Due to high demand, TD Precious Metals has increased their
4:21
delivery delays by up to 25 business days.
4:27
That's like 5 weeks, right? And here's the note right here,
4:30
Please note due to high demand, delivery timelines of 10 to 25
4:33
business days for precious metals orders may be delayed.
4:37
As an alternative, they say you can go to one of our retail
4:40
locations, but then it says down here at the very bottom that is
4:45
subject to availability. So what we are definitely
4:48
saying, let's recap what's going on right now in the physical
4:52
market. The big bars appear to be gone
4:56
in short and in short supply, which which indicates to us that
5:00
the bigger players are sucking up all the silver on the retail
5:04
side. And then we're going to talk
5:05
about why, about how important retail is.
5:08
We're definitely seeing stress in the market.
5:11
Should we call it a scramble? I love that word.
5:15
You know we won't say it's a squeeze, right?
5:18
We know we've been in a squeeze. We won't necessarily say sold
5:22
out shortage, but absolutely confidently I can say it's a
5:26
scramble. And on top of that we have the
5:29
situation where we know there's a ton of activity because all
5:33
the major online bullion dealers are are are warning customers
5:37
that we have shipping delays, physical demand is overtaking
5:42
paper supply. It's as easy as that guys here
5:46
this now this next one, I think also tells us what is happening
5:51
right. I I love it with technology,
5:53
with the online bullion dealers and with and with other
5:56
technology. They can't hide the fact that
5:58
the world's going a little crazy over silver.
6:01
All right, I'll do it. I know you want to hear it the
6:03
sheep noise right, that the people are waking up.
6:08
You woke up a long time ago. But wait till you look at this
6:11
next piece of data and what does this tell us?
6:13
This is great. Put a smile on your face, my
6:16
fellow. Oh, by the by the way, well,
6:19
I'll tell you this in a second. This was from Weimar silver
6:22
Baron. He says I always tell you
6:25
searches on Google for buy silver are at an all time high.
6:32
Wait till you see this chart. OK, this is the buy silver.
6:37
You can see right here search. You can go on like Google
6:40
Analytics and look at this and look at this goes all the way
6:44
back to 2011. There's 2000.
6:47
Now this isn't even more interesting.
6:50
Oh my gosh, OK, in 2011, that was the previous high.
6:54
Remember the cup in handle that we broke out of, right?
6:59
This is 2011. This was what, 1980?
7:03
OK, that was how high the searches got.
7:06
OK, now, wow. And then this right here was
7:12
probably during C-19, remember when there was a silver craze
7:15
that went on. But look at where we are now,
7:19
OK, absolutely exploding now. Do we really?
7:24
This is something very important that we need to talk about.
7:26
Do we really need to focus on on retail, right?
7:32
Because the the reality is this guys, the retail market
7:35
traditionally does not set the price of silver.
7:38
The retail market sets the price of premiums.
7:41
Very important to understand premiums.
7:43
Meaning if you go to your LCS, here's a beautiful one ounce
7:48
silver round coin from a first met, right?
7:52
And you want to buy this in the, the, the, the, we'll go back in
7:56
time. The silver price is only $50.00,
7:59
but they're selling this for 55. You're paying a $5 premium over
8:03
spot. If retail demand explodes, they
8:06
might be selling these for $60.00.
8:08
If it goes crazy, they might be selling them for 65 dollars, $15
8:13
over spot. Typically speaking, the retail
8:16
demand does not have does not set traditionally had not set
8:20
the price of silver. It was set by our good friends
8:24
at the paper market, the COMEX. Is that all changing, right.
8:28
We, we, we'll see how this all plays out.
8:31
We are certainly in a new paradigm, a new weather pattern,
8:35
however you want to say it. The winds have shifted in the
8:38
silver market where physical demand is overtaking the paper
8:42
price. OK.
8:43
It's happening on a worldwide basis and we're going to talk
8:45
about how these major, the major Venezuela geopolitical event,
8:49
how I think it's going to impact the price of gold and silver in
8:52
the short term and the long term.
8:55
But but the physical demand is overtaking the paper price.
8:59
It's so critical for us to understand.
9:01
So the retail demand could become more important in the
9:06
overall pricing structure of silver as we move into, let's
9:12
say, the next coming hours, months, quarters and years.
9:17
It's going to be interesting. We're going to talk about the
9:20
$100 two, two analysts, excuse me, are telling us that we could
9:25
get $100 silver very soon. But when we talk about worldwide
9:28
demand, do you wonder what's going on in China at their
9:31
retail market, their physical retail market?
9:34
Let's just do a quick check in on how things are in China.
9:39
This is some very interesting footage.
9:41
This came from David Lee. China has a four day holiday
9:45
starting on the 1st through the 4th.
9:46
People are back to the Shenzhen Chubai gold market to shop
9:51
before the Chinese New Year which is in mid February and
9:55
take a look at what's going on there.
9:57
This came from TikTok gold market in China.
10:20
I'll turn that music off. It looks pretty active.
10:22
Actually. Now that I'm looking at that, I
10:24
would say that my local coin shop, which is a big local coin
10:28
shop, no doubt was not that crowded, but it was leaning in
10:32
that direction. No doubt about it.
10:35
Hey, it takes sponsors to make Ron's basement possible today.
10:38
This, this episode has a special sponsor, excuse me, Argenta
10:44
Silver. I'm going to show a quick video
10:46
for you that I put together about Argenta Silver and then
10:49
I'll be right back to talk about this $100, two, not one, but two
10:55
at now and you get 2 analysts calling for $100 silver.
10:59
The move we've seen in December 2025 in precious metals,
11:05
especially silver, is one for the record books.
11:09
It signals a new era like no other, and I'm kicking off 2026
11:14
by sharing an exciting opportunity with you.
11:18
Gold just hit $4500 for the very first time in history and was up
11:24
over 70% in 2025. Gold has added nearly 13
11:30
trillion to its market cap in a single year.
11:33
Silver has hit $75 per oz, up 148% in 2000, 1025, and is now
11:41
the world's third largest asset. The numbers speak for
11:45
themselves. We are in the most enormous
11:48
breakout in my favorite metal silver.
11:51
I'm about to share with you a very interesting Pureplay silver
11:55
idea for the coming decade. I'm not beating around the Bush,
12:00
This is it. One highly respected billionaire
12:04
mining tycoon has recently increased his position in one
12:08
particular silver company that I'm very bullish on.
12:13
On top of that, a prominent Argentinian businessman who had
12:17
already invested millions in May of 2025 recently raised his
12:23
personal stake once more by millions of dollars just a few
12:28
months ago, which is the reason why I'm profiling this company
12:32
to you right now. Here's the bottom line.
12:36
This is a pure silver play happening in the midst of the
12:41
best silver market ever. Frank Giustra, A mining
12:45
billionaire, is a major shareholder and only 1% of the
12:50
land package has ever been drilled.
12:53
And there's plenty of cash to drill even more right now.
12:57
Together, both Frank Giustra and Eduardo Elstein, through his
13:02
group of entities own roughly 1/4 of today's sponsor, Argenta
13:08
Silver, ticker symbol AGAGF and available on Interactive Brokers
13:15
and Schwab. As you know, silver reached
13:18
record prices in 2025. Argenta Silver, their shares
13:24
surged by 188% in 2025, but the stock price has been down lately
13:32
from its peak. So do your homework on this
13:35
company now. There's three key reasons why
13:39
I'm very interested in Argenta Silver.
13:42
First, two highly successful businessmen with proven track
13:47
records in mining have bought millions and 10s of millions of
13:51
shares. Both Frank Giustra and
13:54
Argentinian real estate entrepreneur Eduardo Elstein are
13:59
major shareholders of Argenta Silver.
14:03
Secondly, valuation of the company.
14:06
Here are the dry figures which tell the story.
14:10
The previous owners of the Elkvar spent an estimated 60
14:14
million Canadian dollars on the project.
14:18
They discovered the third largest pure silver deposit in
14:22
Argentina and they built a 100 person camp.
14:28
Argenta purchased the Elkvar project for only 3.5 million
14:34
U.S. dollars in September 2024. The Pure Silver deposit contains
14:40
silver resources of 45.3 million oz at 482g per ton indicated and
14:50
4.1 million oz at 417g per ton inferred.
14:57
And remember, less than 1% of the project area has been
15:02
explored. I cannot overstate the potential
15:06
here. This is already the third
15:08
largest undeveloped Pure Silver deposit in Argentina.
15:13
Argentis Silver now has a significant cash position,
15:17
roughly 18,000,000 U.S. dollars in working capital and they are
15:22
drilling as we speak. So results are imminent and will
15:26
continue to come for the next few months, all in the context
15:31
of this bull market in silver, which there's never been
15:35
anything like before. Again, ticker symbol AGAGF.
15:42
The flagship resource and project are situated in
15:46
Argentina's top mining jurisdiction, the Salta Province
15:51
that was the best voted jurisdiction of Latin America by
15:56
the Fraser Institute for 2023. I'm excited about the prospects
16:02
for Argenta Silver. Do your homework and don't
16:05
forget the ticker symbol AGAGF. Thank you, Argenta Silver for
16:13
sponsoring this episode of Ron's Basement.
16:16
And I want to remind you, I'm not a financial advisor.
16:18
I talk a lot about buying gold, silver, precious metal, mining
16:22
stocks. Always do your own research and
16:25
realize right be responsible Mining stocks, any investment is
16:29
risky. Let's take a look at some more
16:31
data. We got a lot more to cover 2
16:33
analysts telling us $100 silver and possibly very, very soon.
16:37
What about this talk of a bubble?
16:39
And don't forget, we need to talk about the major bent over
16:42
the weekend with Venezuela and how I see that affecting the
16:46
precious metals market as we move into the future.
16:49
Let's go here first. We got a lot more to cover,
16:53
guys. Here we go.
16:55
We need to look at this chart. Don't forget when we talk about
16:57
silver and we talk about gold, foreign central banks now hold
17:01
more gold than Treasuries. I talked about this the other
17:04
day. Several of you requested I get
17:06
this chart back out. If we look at this, I mean,
17:09
look, this is gold, obviously the yellow line and it goes all
17:13
the way back to 1970, all the way through 2030 or today, which
17:18
is the white part. This is from Tavi Costa and data
17:22
from Bloomberg. But as you can see, gold
17:24
holdings starting around 1980, back then, this is how much gold
17:29
central banks owned, and this was how much in U.S.
17:32
Treasuries from 1980 through about 1995 that went up and then
17:38
from 1995 all the way through today, the world central banks
17:43
held more U.S. Treasuries, basically more U.S.
17:46
dollars than than they did gold. However, as you can see right
17:51
here in the present day, we just crossed over, which is a
17:56
historic move. These, these types of moves
17:59
don't fluctuate very, very much like this is a big trend.
18:04
I mean, look at this trend, unbelievable actually of gold
18:08
going up right in U.S. Treasuries starting about 2018,
18:13
2020 going down. What that tells us is that the
18:17
smartest people in the world, the most in the know financial
18:22
minds in the world, the people running the world, central banks
18:26
are moving towards gold and by default silver.
18:29
There's some chatter out there and a little bit of proof that
18:32
some of the central banks are starting to look at silver.
18:35
But I think that that could be something that we see more of in
18:38
the future, $100 silver, right? Keith Neumeyer from First
18:43
Majestic, what I think was coined that phrase, triple digit
18:46
silver. Is it in the near term horizon?
18:49
Look, nobody has a crystal ball, but we've got two people.
18:52
We're going to talk. Start with our friend Rashad,
18:55
who's been very, very, let me get back here.
18:58
He's been very, very accurate as of late.
19:00
And he says himself, right, not financial advice, but he points
19:04
out some interesting things based on his analysis of the
19:08
silver chart. He says, I think silver is about
19:13
to start a new Sprint higher to test $100 level and then pause.
19:19
What would you be OK with that? I think we'd be OK.
19:22
We got to $100 and then paused the same way it paused around
19:26
$50 before it continues higher. Silver price tripled in 2025
19:33
within nine months. If it triples again in 2026,
19:38
then the price would reach $200 plus.
19:41
And here's the chart that he's developed right, showing us kind
19:45
of where we are right now in this zone, but how he foresees
19:51
the price moving even higher and higher and then up here into the
19:56
above 200. So Rashad has had an uncanny
19:59
ability to predict the silver price as of late and he's
20:03
talking about that happening sooner as opposed to later.
20:07
But let's go out to Gary Savage and see what Gary's telling us,
20:10
which is silver appears to be forming a bull flag
20:14
consolidation. We'll look at that here on the
20:17
chart in a second. Once the medals finishes, finish
20:20
this minor profit taking event probably sometime this coming
20:24
week. Can we wait that long?
20:28
I think silver will be set up to test 100 one $100 or at least
20:32
pretty close to it over the next one to two months, $100 within
20:38
the next one to two months. And this is this looks like a
20:41
bull flag consolidation to me. The blue lines, right?
20:45
Can it a flag pattern, right? It's kind of like there's a
20:49
pole, there's the flag as you can see on the pattern.
20:53
So that's the flag right here, right, man, put whatever you
20:56
want in there. We'll put an S for silver.
20:59
That's the silver flag. That's what we see developing
21:02
the, the way these consolidation patterns and triangle patterns
21:08
work is that eventually the price has to break out.
21:11
Gary is calling it as a breakout to the positive.
21:15
Look, when we talk about, and we'll do this next because I
21:18
want to, I want to, I want to cover what Jesse Colombo is
21:23
saying about the silver price right now.
21:25
But when we look at all the fundamentals involved, it's
21:27
overwhelming how optimistic we can be right now about the
21:31
silver price. No other time in history that
21:35
I've been following it for over 25 years could we be as
21:39
optimistic as we are right now. And there's people out there
21:42
saying it's a bubble, right? And look, no, look, I don't have
21:45
a crystal ball. Nobody does, but I don't think
21:48
it's a bubble. But let's listen to what Jesse
21:50
Colombo has to say because he brings up a very simple yet very
21:55
powerful point and that is this OK?
21:58
Jesse is one of the most widely followed analyst in the silver
22:02
sector right now. And gold, he said silver's
22:05
recent surge has sparked claims of an unsustainable bubble, But
22:10
those calling silver a bubble are misled by its nominal gains.
22:17
And we're going to talk about that.
22:18
That's very important. Unaware it remains very cheap
22:23
according to numerous metrics. And what he's basically saying
22:27
is right, the gains in the silver price.
22:30
We'll look at this first, then we'll come back.
22:32
This is the silver to Dow ratio, as you can see.
22:38
Index to 100. This goes back.
22:40
Oh shoot, hold on guys, let me get the dates on the bottom for
22:44
you. I think if I pull this up, it's
22:47
not as big actually. OK, anyway, goes back.
22:50
There's 1980 down here. You can see how high this ratio
22:55
got. OK, alright, there's the 2011
22:58
peak there. Much higher, and this is where
23:01
we are now. What he's basically saying is
23:04
like if you compare the price of silver to the dollar for, for
23:08
instance, the Dow Jones Industrial Average, which is
23:11
what, 45,000 somewhere in that area right now, silver has a lot
23:16
of catching up to do. If you compare the price of
23:19
silver right to the M2 money supply, We looked at that
23:22
yesterday, right, the the dollar to silver ratio, the change in
23:27
the M2 money supply versus the change in the number of Oz of
23:32
silver mined on a worldwide basis, that's like at $1000.
23:36
There's a massive difference between, in the financial world
23:39
between the word nominal, which basically just means number,
23:43
right? And real, right.
23:45
And, and guys, so when we're looking at the price increase of
23:48
silver and say, oh, silver's gone up.
23:50
So that's because we're, we're, we're kind of brainwashed into
23:53
pricing silver in U.S. dollars. But when you strip away, when
23:58
you do some analysis on the actual numbers behind, when you
24:02
compare the price of silver to the increase in the money
24:05
supply, when you compare the price of silver to the, to the
24:09
Dow Jones, right, like Jesse Colombo did, really right.
24:14
I know it's hard. Like we make you hear people say
24:16
$100 silver, $200 silver. Oh, that's crazy.
24:19
No, it's kind of like we're we're, we're we're trained.
24:24
We have what's called recency bias.
24:28
You, you have a bad case and I have a bad case of recency buys.
24:31
Well, maybe not us, but definitely those sheeple and,
24:34
and some people in the silver world that say, oh, silver can
24:38
never get to 100 people said it. Guys, listen, here's a little
24:42
secret for you, OK? A year ago when silver was at
24:45
$30 and there were some people that were in their basement
24:48
making YouTube videos saying silver could go to 50, silver
24:51
could go to 60-70 dollars. They would get heckled.
24:55
They would get made fun of. Yeah, right.
24:58
Because people just think in terms of these numbers.
25:00
They're just it's just a nominal number.
25:03
OK? The silver price can go
25:05
astronomically high. I've said this all along.
25:08
Silver could. Silver could go to Infinity and
25:10
beyond, no doubt about it. Insane.
25:14
With with, with, with gold. OK, let me ask you a question.
25:18
How much does silver cost in Confederate dollars, right?
25:21
That went became more and I'm not saying the dollar and I
25:24
don't want that to happen. I love my country.
25:26
I don't like what they've done with a paper dollar since 1971
25:30
when President Nixon temporarily took us off the gold standard.
25:34
But nonetheless, nonetheless, guys, the reality is paper
25:38
money, it's been proven throughout history every other
25:42
time has become worthless Fiat, right FAIT.
25:46
So to look at these numbers and say well, silver could never get
25:50
to 150 an ounce. That's in my opinion.
25:54
I don't want to use the F word foolish, but I will a little bit
25:57
foolish because silver couldn't just go to 150.
25:59
It could go to 15103 thousand. It can go anywhere.
26:04
All right, I digress. We got a lot more to talk about
26:07
the goal. OK, here's another great example
26:10
of history. The gold to silver ratio, which
26:14
currently sets. I love this chart.
26:17
This comes from Make Gold Great. There's a big message in this
26:20
update, but if I just showed you the top part of this chart, the
26:23
gold to silver ratio on the 3rd of January 2026, a massive drop
26:31
from 1 from 104 in April just this last year back in 2025.
26:38
It's hard to isn't it hard to imagine 2025 now is referred to
26:42
as last year. But look at the gold to silver
26:44
ratio every oh, the gold to silver ratio is going down by
26:47
you know, we're still above like long term averages.
26:51
That's the number of Oz of silver it takes you to get one
26:54
ounce of gold. The higher the price of silver
26:57
goes relative to gold, the lower the ratio goes.
27:01
So, for example, if we were living in ancient Egypt here,
27:05
we'll just look at this one right here, 1000 BC.
27:11
And it's kind of funny to think that we had relatives, you and I
27:14
did have relatives alive during that time period.
27:18
At that point in time, it took 10, only 10 ounces of silver to
27:22
get one ounce of gold. That meant that if, if that, if
27:25
that ratio were applied to today, the silver price would be
27:29
at yes, you guessed it, I picked an easy one for us, $440 per oz,
27:35
meaning it would only take 10 ounces of silver to get one
27:37
ounce of gold. Throughout history.
27:39
Look at all these these numbers, 1 to 15 in in 2000 in Rome, 1 to
27:45
15 in Italy in the year 1300. But even as we get the more
27:50
recent times right in the year 1500 in Germany here, let's just
27:54
circle that for fun, alright? It was again 12:50, which again
27:59
would mean a $440 silver price going all the way to today.
28:04
This is the only time in history when the ratio is now 60 to one.
28:08
It takes basically I'm rounding up 60 ounces of silver for you
28:13
or I to trade for one ounce of gold.
28:16
This number can go much lower. What if it goes to 20, right?
28:21
If it goes to 20, we have silver over $200 per oz.
28:26
But wait, there's more. Because when we consider a very
28:30
important fact, and I mean fact, right, that back then silver
28:36
wasn't consumed like it is today, Today silver's being
28:40
consumed or, you know, unless you're really brand new to the
28:44
channel, you know, right, solar panels, electronics,
28:49
microprocessors, AI, data centers, electric cars, the list
28:53
goes on and on, right? And nobody ever talks about the
28:56
fact that it's antimicrobial. And I got another bonus fact
28:59
about silver that I think it's going to be you mark my words,
29:03
when we're down here in the basement five years from now,
29:05
we're going to be smiling because we're going to know
29:07
you're going to say we talked about this in Ron's basement
29:10
five years ago when nobody else was talking about it.
29:13
I think it's the one of the future massive demand sources.
29:18
Or silver. OK, it's getting crazy.
29:20
By the way, this morning I was out and about, believe it or
29:23
not, Susie upstairs. Susie let me out of the basement
29:26
and I ran into one of our fellow basement dwellers.
29:29
This nice guy, very nicely dressed, came up to me and he
29:33
said you're a lot taller in person than you are on camera.
29:36
And I'm like, uh oh, this guy must be a basement dweller.
29:41
So I want to say hi to Bill, my local Saint Louis and and his
29:45
lovely wife. He said, we watch you all the
29:47
time. And I was like, well, that's
29:48
awesome. But but something very
29:50
interesting. Number one, this guy, he was
29:52
good looking and very well put together, right?
29:55
It goes back to this. Remember, this is what Google
29:58
told me, that yellow highlight right there about this channel.
30:03
Your audience is highly sophisticated.
30:06
OK. But then he said you're a lot
30:08
taller in person than you are on camera.
30:10
And I was just waiting for him to also say and better looking,
30:13
but that never came out. So anyway, hi Bill, welcome to
30:17
the basement and hello to your wife as well.
30:20
Where was I? Okay, the sleeper.
30:21
And then we're going to talk about the Venezuela situation,
30:24
the sleeper factor, and I won't spend too much time on this.
30:27
I know people have different opinions on crypto, people have
30:30
different opinions on gold and silver, no doubt.
30:33
But there's a a, a factor that I think will become one of the
30:37
biggest sources of demand for physical silver and it already
30:41
is for gold. And that is as gold and silver
30:44
are tokenized in the future, tokenized and backed 100% by
30:50
real physical metal in real vaults.
30:53
There's a great example of that going on right now.
30:56
The company Tether has tokenized gold.
30:59
It's called XAUT. Look, I'm not, I'm not making
31:02
investment to advice given anything like that, but the X
31:06
AU, it's tokenized gold. Each one token on the blockchain
31:11
is backed by one real ounce of gold and a vault in Switzerland.
31:15
And there's big benefits to this, right?
31:18
People, you can take their gold wherever they want in the world.
31:20
You can trade fractional amount. You can trade it 24 hours a day.
31:24
The spreads between the buy and sell are like minuscule compared
31:28
to going to those local coin shops, right?
31:31
Take an ounce of silver, take an ounce of gold to your local coin
31:35
shop and the price they're going to pay you for it is much less
31:39
than what they're going to resell it for.
31:41
You know, that's called the spread.
31:42
So as we move into the future, I, I'm not, I'm not saying that
31:47
you need to buy tokenized gold. I'm not telling you to buy the
31:50
ETF. The SLVETF people have different
31:53
opinions on that. That's great.
31:55
But the SLVETF did significantly increase demand for physical
32:00
silver. And the same thing is going to
32:02
happen with tokenized gold and tokenized silver Tether, the
32:07
company Tether that has the tokenized gold, they were
32:10
outside of central banks. I forget was it over the last
32:13
month or the last year? They were the biggest buyer of
32:16
physical gold, OK, just behind the world central banks.
32:20
And I believe the same thing is going to happen with silver,
32:24
right? And it could create a massive
32:26
way. That doesn't mean you have to
32:27
buy it or buy that's fine. Everybody's different, right?
32:32
If you don't hold it, you, I don't own it, but I'm just
32:34
saying five years from now when we're down here, I firmly
32:38
believe that we're going to be looking at that.
32:40
Let's talk about what's going on with the in the geopolitical
32:45
world with what happened over the weekend with Venezuela.
32:47
As you know, I'm not a political channel.
32:50
I'm not making statements pro or con or support or against.
32:53
And I'm just reporting what happened.
32:55
And I think there's two critical things.
32:57
Number one, tonight's open. In the short term in the silver
33:01
and gold market, I would expect fireworks and I don't want to be
33:04
a Debbie Downer. I'm, I'm, I think it's about
33:07
5050 that when the market opens, we're going to see a big move up
33:11
or possibly a big move down. Don't get mad at me.
33:14
And that's OK if that happens because I've got good news and
33:18
that is over the long term what the facts of what transpired
33:23
over the weekend, I think are going to be very, very
33:26
supportive for the gold price and the silver price as well.
33:32
And there's a couple reasons why I think it's a similar situation
33:37
with the United States making a bold move of actually taking
33:41
over a country. It's kind of similar to what
33:43
happened with the Russia Ukraine situation, but more from a
33:47
perspective of when the Russia Ukraine situation happened of
33:51
the West seized a lot of the Russian assets.
33:54
Look, China, Russia, they're not happy about what went on in
33:57
Venezuela. It's a big source of oil.
33:59
You can read all into that all all that you want, but I I think
34:03
what it's what happened was with Ukraine, Russia, when we seize
34:07
those as people stop countries. I'm sorry, some countries, some
34:10
around the world got scared instead of the United States can
34:14
in the West can just see stuff from us.
34:16
We don't they lost some comfort, let's say in in storing some of
34:22
their central bank assets as the chart we looked at earlier
34:25
showed us in cash in U.S. Treasury.
34:27
So I think this is going to further divide the world.
34:31
Unfortunately, I'm in favor of World Peace, but the reality of
34:35
the facts of the matter is this will further divide the world
34:38
and I think provide a very, very supportive environment, continue
34:43
to provide a supportive environment for the precious
34:45
metals. Other people are even saying,
34:48
and I don't want any. I don't like violent but but but
34:50
they're saying like, like now that the United States did this
34:53
with Venezuela, maybe China will feel emboldened to go into
34:57
Taiwan. You know, that's a tinderbox
35:00
situation and maybe Russia will feel even more emboldened with
35:05
their situation in Ukraine. All that aside, unfortunately,
35:11
look, you know, we just look at the facts.
35:13
The world is becoming more and more at odds with each other,
35:17
the West versus the East. We know that in the precious
35:20
metals markets, the East happens to be kind of exerting a lot of
35:24
authority in the precious metals markets.
35:27
And I think that what we're going to see is this all plays
35:30
out right, is that it's going to be two, 5-10 years from now,
35:35
continue to be a very supportive factor.
35:39
Again, just reporting the facts for the price of the precious
35:42
metals. And when you take a step back
35:45
and look at these other fundamental reasons why we can
35:47
be so excited about silver in particular, and we love gold, no
35:52
doubt. We're super excited about it.
35:55
I think the future looks very bright.
35:56
I want to say thank you again for joining me today.
35:58
Don't forget to subscribe to the channel.
36:00
Take care, OK? It's going to be a crazy fun
36:03
ride together. I appreciate you and I'll see
36:06
you, yes, you next time.
