- 2:31Nailed it. Let's get my guests in here.
- 2:33I'm really excited for this one. So what happened was Was Mary
- 2:38Elizabeth, the, the goddess of professional wrestling.
- 2:41I love her to death, had a little bit of conflict,
- 2:44conflicting issues with what thing going on in her personal
- 2:47life. So I was supposed to be Thursday
- 2:48that we Wednesday. Now Wednesday, she is doing it
- 2:51on Monday, so we flip flopped around and I was like, wow, I
- 2:53need somebody for Thursday because everyone's used to
- 2:55Thursday episodes. So Harley and stepped up which
- 2:58I'm very thankful for and we're going to have a really fun time
- 3:00and learn a ton about her. I got to meet her at.
- 3:02I met her at the last high-tension wrestling show in.
- 3:06Ali and she was super, super dope and had a great match with
- 3:09Riley Crow. So I'm excited to learn more and
- 3:12have this deep dive. So without further Ado, let me
- 3:14bring her in. How you doing?
- 3:16How's it going? Anthony?
- 3:17Blackwell. My new favorite human?
- 3:19Yes, yes. So yeah, you'll finally we met
- 3:23each other for the first time at that's at high tension and I
- 3:27remember I was like oh this chick is badass.
- 3:29She has flames tattooed on her thighs and I was like oh no
- 3:32that's just that's the leggings. But I think the coach you got
- 3:35that Bam. Bam.
- 3:36Bigelow. Tattoos going on, get ready?
- 3:41Do you have any tattoos? I only have the two on my wrist.
- 3:45But on, besides from that I'm basically gonna go to sleep one
- 3:48day, but who knows down the line, you know?
- 3:50Yeah. They're fun to have.
- 3:51I hate getting them. Yeah, really.
- 3:54Getting just sitting there for hours and getting stabbed with
- 3:56an eel is never fun and if people say they like it, they're
- 3:58crazy, they're not reliable. When I got these two this was
- 4:02like one of the best experiences of my life because it was like,
- 4:04it wasn't painful. It was more so particular Yeah,
- 4:08I know next next tattoo I'm going for that that that numbing
- 4:11gel that you rub on stuff now I don't care.
- 4:13Call me whatever people call me whatever you want I'm doing it.
- 4:16I'm sick of it. Yeah.
- 4:19So you know you've been you've been, how long have you been
- 4:22training? I know, I almost dropped
- 4:25information that we talked about off camera, so I'll let you take
- 4:27your how long have you been in the business now?
- 4:30So I've been training for a good like four years.
- 4:32Now, did not make my professional debut until like to
- 4:35maybe like a year and a Ago. It was a weird time because the
- 4:38pandemic it and originally my original string School wasn't
- 4:42necessarily the best place I would say in.
- 4:45So, I got to what do I do? Joe and they just like
- 4:48incredibly help me like cheeseburgers, probably the one
- 4:50of the best trainers there is out there.
- 4:52Yeah. And that building every time I
- 4:54go in there, I like I have that moment of like, it's like, it's
- 4:59like walking on Hallowed Ground because when you walk in the
- 5:01worldwide Dojo, you get a feeling of like this place is
- 5:05special, and then Remember being there for the first time we film
- 5:08high-tension stuff and I was like, oh, I'm in the dojo.
- 5:11This is cool. It's cheeseburger school or
- 5:13cheeseburgers, legendary man, he's done cool things.
- 5:15He's Jewish and liger loves this dude.
- 5:17Like, he knows what he's doing and I'm looking at the wall and
- 5:20I'm looking at his office. I'm like, this is crazy, like
- 5:22all the stuff and then my buddy kind of nudge me.
- 5:25He goes, you know where you're at.
- 5:26Is like, one like this is the old roh Dojo.
- 5:28You know, what used to run this building.
- 5:30I was like Punk and Bryan came in here and Claudio came through
- 5:34here and you name them if they were in our oh, I'd say Probably
- 5:36trained in that building. And I was like, this is crazy.
- 5:39Like the slot rack is still broken from Claudio and it's
- 5:42still there. I mean, like it's just about
- 5:45every day of the week. Yeah.
- 5:47Yeah. It's a magical place a time.
- 5:49And there couldn't have been a better person than take the
- 5:52mantle of that building then cheeseburger and it's just it's
- 5:56an awesome. So the fact that you're trading
- 5:57out of there you're in great hands know without a doubt.
- 6:00Like the first time I ever walked in there, it was because
- 6:03I was with real two. Good friends are in the business
- 6:06there. These are pancakes and I'm
- 6:07Eugene. Oh my goodness, yes.
- 6:09Yeah, they brought me in there and I was like, so nervous.
- 6:11Super stoked to see if she's Berger and I walked in.
- 6:13I was like marking out. I was like, don't don't look
- 6:16like, you know, don't let the guitar.
- 6:17It's almost like a dark right now but I was just freaking out
- 6:19the entire sire. Yeah, I it's funny because
- 6:22cheeseburger obviously takes tons of pride in the people.
- 6:24He trains. So he puts their eight-by-tens
- 6:26on the wall and I was saying to myself, like I would never like
- 6:30if I was a trainer train either. I bet you don't put my picture
- 6:33up there like like some of the most legendary Very Japanese
- 6:37wrestlers who have come to visit in like I don't deserve to be up
- 6:40there with that have the same mindset.
- 6:43I'm just like I feel like I'm nowhere near these levels but
- 6:46please don't ever put my face up.
- 6:47There are the best. The best of the new photo from
- 6:50the last time where it's a we were there the other not too
- 6:52long ago the wheeler you to photo where it looks like he's
- 6:55like a real estate agent like like right.
- 6:57And he just took it and put on the wall to be funny.
- 6:59But yeah. Abby and pancakes.
- 7:01What they are. The absolute.
- 7:02They are absolute sweethearts in this business.
- 7:05I was actually going through. T-shirts and I have Ben's full
- 7:09of t-shirts because I couldn't, I can't hang them anymore.
- 7:12There's no nerves, no room. So I have a like a huge, huge
- 7:16bin and it's packed to the gills of all just independent
- 7:19wrestling t-shirts. I had to start another bin, but
- 7:22I was going through like trying to put old ones on the bottom
- 7:24and reshuffle. So I tried new ones and I found
- 7:26my bright pink. Abby shirt.
- 7:28That looks like Mario Sunshine. Right?
- 7:30Yeah. My favorite design from.
- 7:32Yeah. And then I think the same artist
- 7:35who did that one. Did Max Heroes, sure.
- 7:38The handsome Max shirt. Yeah, they're very similar.
- 7:41I think it might be the same person.
- 7:42I could be wrong but I believe it is.
- 7:44It's very, very, very close. But yeah.
- 7:46So how did you meet up with them?
- 7:48And, and, and all that. Oh man, so we our friendship
- 7:52goes back all the way to when we wrestle that the wrestle Factory
- 7:55original. You connected with shekhar, of
- 7:57course, we met like probably like September, 2019 around that
- 8:02time because that's when I started down there, and we just
- 8:04clicked instantly because they're probably like One of the
- 8:06best people, one of the best friends that I have in this
- 8:08business right now, and they've been beneficial and they've been
- 8:11like, one of the best mentors of that stuff could have there.
- 8:14Yeah, so you were initially with the like we're like What You
- 8:18cars early thing and then move with their what?
- 8:21What I obviously, it's a bummer, what happened with that and
- 8:25everything that went down, I personally still love going back
- 8:28and watching Chikara stuff because I it's also trying to
- 8:32separate the bad from the good and it just like the work that
- 8:36was put In by the talent there is is special and it.
- 8:39And what was that what they created was special?
- 8:42So it's like, and I love how, like it's kind of and everyone
- 8:45kind of moved on to their own thing and then they're
- 8:47Reinventing themselves. So it's really fun to see.
- 8:49But so you were there with like Makowski and Devon taste and
- 8:52stuff like that. Yes, but I started like the
- 8:55second day started like stepping out.
- 8:57So like I did this come out in a few months.
- 8:59Okay. And that was around that time,
- 9:10that's when everything kind of just kind of crumbled down the
- 9:14school revamped itself, and was no more.
- 9:17And I was just, like, a few months away from like, probably,
- 9:20like, potentially getting like a debut there.
- 9:23So, like, really bumper hours. That's and then, like, I was
- 9:29part of the can't believe frog-like later ages of camp,
- 9:31Lee frog and it was always very fast into me of like, Like not
- 9:36in a like obviously nothing positive but like how you when
- 9:39you find the home and you're like oh this is it and then you
- 9:41watch it kind of all falls apart in your you're disappointed and
- 9:44you have so many emotions and it's just like you feel like
- 9:47you're lost your home and then they felt like can't believe
- 9:49frog was their new home. So like I don't know, it's just
- 9:52it's dope. That you now fell into the
- 9:54high-tension brand and that that family because it kind of became
- 9:59another place for a lot of that Talent where they didn't feel
- 10:01like they had somewhere again and, and We're and being a
- 10:06member of that team and Community.
- 10:08Its, we love having you as your everyone is.
- 10:10I come in from that background, that come, there is always a
- 10:13blast to work with and everyone's very talented and
- 10:15very professional. And and it's it's almost like
- 10:18bringing that click in and then we bring our northeast PA people
- 10:23in that we really trust and kind of mash people together and then
- 10:25it just, it's just beautiful chemistry, right?
- 10:28No, I completely agree. Everybody on the high-tension
- 10:31roster. I feel like they're just they're
- 10:33certainly talented. They don't get Of credit that
- 10:35they deserve. I feel like most of the time and
- 10:37it's just right now. This is like a ryoka group of
- 10:40people. I felt so welcome and I actually
- 10:42like was there and I got my purse taking match there.
- 10:44Yeah. So what's your how did you find
- 10:48professional wrestling? Was it always something that was
- 10:51in your house. This was a parents that injures
- 10:53juice. You how did you fall in love
- 10:55with the this crazy industry? A professional wrestling, let me
- 10:59get into the server without getting too emotional growing
- 11:02up, like my family was huge. To wrestling fans to begin with.
- 11:05So like I was like in the womb listening to like the rock and
- 11:08stone cold cutting their promos on the television.
- 11:10Like I was just in the room listening to that and growing up
- 11:13on my brother. Was a really old.
- 11:14By the way, my brother was really into a.
- 11:19He was the one that actually, like, introduced me to it, like,
- 11:21more in-depth. So he was a, he decided to
- 11:24become a professional wrestler himself, at one point, and he
- 11:27was just, like, engraving so much information in me.
- 11:29And we would watch like, you know, my name is like the Monday
- 11:31Night War, lot of shows and smackdowns and like, You Really
- 11:35Got Me. Obsessed over it.
- 11:36And it wasn't until like probably like, oh, 10, 11 years
- 11:42old. That I really want to take it
- 11:43seriously. Like, I could not pinpoint an
- 11:46exact match or a pin point, is that moment.
- 11:48So when I heard those his house is watching and I just like was
- 11:51so engraved into it. That was like I kind of want to
- 11:54get into this like I there's just love this.
- 11:57The packed you a shit about it that I cannot lie.
- 12:00Get rid of it for my soul. So it was ever since then I was
- 12:03just completely None other than everything I did up to that
- 12:06point was for this one. So that's why in high school if
- 12:11I had the choice to do any other sport.
- 12:13It was interesting point. So like I wanted to get in shape
- 12:16for it. I just wanted to do as much take
- 12:19study as I could because I knew down the line of this is the
- 12:21only thing I ever wanted to do now.
- 12:24No it usually. I'm just to my small little coal
- 12:27region towns where if a girl gets into amateur wrestling for
- 12:31the most part she's wrestling other boys, she's wrestling.
- 12:34Out of her class and it's a whole deal.
- 12:37And how was that in your growing up in high school?
- 12:41Was there, it was there a women's division, or were you
- 12:43kind of just thrown in the mix with everybody else at the time
- 12:46there was no, like, women's teams.
- 12:48Like no girls change. I went to like a really small
- 12:51high school, probably like a good 75 people.
- 12:55Graduated probably, is that year of my senior year and getting
- 13:00into, it was extremely hard because there was no other
- 13:02people that wanted to do it. It was just me.
- 13:04Me being, you know, crazy as I as I met and the cultural site,
- 13:08okay. But we're not going to treat you
- 13:09like any other female. We're going to treat it like one
- 13:11of the boys, and we're going to push you through it.
- 13:12And all four years, I did. And it was probably the most
- 13:16humbling experience I've ever been through for.
- 13:18It's like they put me through hell, but mentally of being like
- 13:22a couple person and thankfully as my coach started believing
- 13:26anymore, I was able to do more like National competitions and
- 13:29like go down like these toilets and stuff just to represent the
- 13:32school. And, you know, I Like a Spur
- 13:35like a better Coach out of that to do that.
- 13:38It was extremely hard though. Yeah, I honestly, like I when I
- 13:44when everyone told me it was wrestling in school as I can do
- 13:46wrestling in school and then I looked at wrestling as like no
- 13:49chance, I'm not doing that and then I always like kind of hated
- 13:53on the sport and then my break from professional wrestling.
- 13:57I became obsessed with mixed martial arts and this would be
- 14:00for like UFC was on television. Well actually professor Rustling
- 14:04got me into your C because Ken Shamrock Tito Ortiz one.
- 14:07And I was like, Ken Shamrock is a, he fights for real, and then
- 14:11I was done. I was completely hooked them, a.
- 14:14And then watching women's MMA transfer, and then you see,
- 14:17girls, like Sara McMann. You're like, wait, there's a
- 14:19limp across stock, amateur wrestling for females and female
- 14:23Jiu-Jitsu, and then you're like, why is this not transitioning to
- 14:27MMA? And then then the flood came and
- 14:30then everybody came in and all those amateur women who then
- 14:33transitions from Judo, Kickboxing, all flooded the
- 14:36market. And that it's probably, one of
- 14:38the fastest growing Sports I've ever seen in my life, like MMA
- 14:41changed overnight. And it's cool because that style
- 14:46of women's MMA and women's wrestling then changed how we
- 14:50watch professional wrestling because women were being
- 14:53treated, not as divas. And as Braun panty matches, they
- 14:58were literally like, oh, we can ground Russell, we can chain
- 15:00Russell, we can do they like, and it changed how we watch
- 15:03women's wrestling, like People hate on Rhonda but her first
- 15:06year she changed the game. Yeah, her fur.
- 15:09I loved her first year. Second year, I think she
- 15:12struggles character wise but her in-ring is still fine if you put
- 15:15her in the right, the right people.
- 15:18But yeah it's so it's kind of cool that you're part of that
- 15:21generation where you're falling. It has all the pieces are
- 15:24aligning perfectly because if you were 10 15 years older, you
- 15:27would be in that bubble where you're kind of stuck.
- 15:29Like, I want to take this seriously but women's wrestling
- 15:31is not taken seriously. All right, for sure.
- 15:34Not like the one aspect of professional wrestling.
- 15:36I gravitated to most, it wasn't necessarily the characters or
- 15:39like, the big flashy year or what I meant.
- 15:42Maybe it was more, so the athleticism and like the
- 15:45brutality and aggression, that is in the ring, because that's
- 15:48what I love the most about it. It's like sure we love Mark.
- 15:51Shawn Michaels, we love our rocks, you know, my favorite
- 15:54like, a medic is hell, but for me it was more.
- 15:57So the sports aspect of it that really drew me into it who were
- 16:01some of your favorites, like, when they would come on the
- 16:03screen like they were They are go to us.
- 16:06I'm gonna give a couple hints there right now.
- 16:07I really love it here. Oh, of course everyone does.
- 16:10He's just probably one of the best to do it but like I was
- 16:14moreso drawn into like the dean malenko those, and what you
- 16:16mentioned before the ten Shamrocks and, you know, at the
- 16:20Kurt angle's benoit's, all those people like they are the people
- 16:24who operate or courses, those are the ones that I fell in love
- 16:28with. Absolutely.
- 16:30Yeah, I I didn't really appreciate them at the time and
- 16:34then I seen like the Kyle O'Reilly is and stuff all the
- 16:37world and I was like, oh, how people transition the MMA over?
- 16:40I was like, oh, like Kurt Angle, I always love.
- 16:41Kurt Angle, Kurt angle's. I'm like, Oh my Mount Rushmore,
- 16:44my favorites, he's absolutely insane.
- 16:47But yeah, I was a Shawn guy through and through I was I was
- 16:50one of those kids fans that like I picked my like three favorites
- 16:54and everybody else can jump off a bridge, I didn't care.
- 16:59Yeah yeah yeah yeah. So going through school and Her
- 17:04wrestling. You said you found your school
- 17:06with like how did you go about the process of finding your like
- 17:10the Jacquard dojo and stuff? Was it through like online
- 17:13searches? Was it?
- 17:14I'm you met somebody who then transferred you over like,
- 17:16because that's what people say, a lot of time seems like I want
- 17:18to get into this but how and it's just it's really not as
- 17:21hard as people think it is. You just gotta find what fits me
- 17:24best. Yeah, it was weird because like
- 17:27all throughout High School. Obviously in my head I wanted to
- 17:30do it my whole life. So I wanted to research all this
- 17:32like right away like I want to know What I have to do like you
- 17:36know, doing one is like what I'm about to do to like physically,
- 17:38like get into a school. So I was researching online as
- 17:42my Google and like the first couple schools that came out was
- 17:46wrestle Factory. It was while I do Joe and I
- 17:48think was like a czw type of training school that was and I
- 17:54didn't wasn't necessarily familiar with what I told you at
- 17:56the time and I wasn't really into like the hardcore scene
- 17:58that was you know CDW. So I thought that like Lucha
- 18:03base and because I was a fan An the Russell factor is probably
- 18:05like the best place to go when it comes to like body control
- 18:08and like, just a little technical, like, basic stuff for
- 18:11wrestling. So that's the one that kind of
- 18:13Drew Me In completely. So I was just like, this is the
- 18:16closest one time I was going to do that one.
- 18:18And I was just like, instant like this is like my final
- 18:21decision coming in to graduate high school.
- 18:24That was like the first thing that I did.
- 18:26Hmm. And your family and situation,
- 18:28they're like, yeah, you can go do wrestling.
- 18:30That's cool. It was um It was like a block
- 18:34away situation where it's like my family was huge fans for a
- 18:37long time and then they kind of fell off.
- 18:40My mother is very much against it.
- 18:42It should this day because she's very much terrified for my
- 18:45well-being. Yeah.
- 18:47But I like my brother and definitely my father are like
- 18:49one of the biggest supporters that I have for wrestling and
- 18:52they want me to go all the way with it so that as we get
- 18:54emotional about it, you know, it's that's, that's the emotion
- 18:58is good because it like your passion about what you're doing
- 19:01and that's that's that's cool to see.
- 19:03And honestly, that like meeting you that day at this, at the, at
- 19:07the event that comes out of you, your passion, and your passion
- 19:11of being, there comes out. Its, it was, it was, it was cool
- 19:16to see, like, when your mattress done you were out and you were
- 19:18watching everybody else's matches.
- 19:20You were into what was happening that day, when you're in the
- 19:22locker room, you were engaging with people.
- 19:23Like that's that's all the perfect things you need to do
- 19:26when you're in a locker room and you're brand new to a locker
- 19:29room and maybe only know, two or three people.
- 19:31But you leave any like I'm at 45 new cool people.
- 19:33You know, I mean like that's my favorite part of every weekend
- 19:36is going to a wrestling show was is obviously reconnecting with
- 19:38your friends but then also finding new people and and
- 19:41making those connections, right? And this is the worst thing
- 19:43because I'm a fan serving through regardless of anything.
- 19:46So, like even though like I'm booked on the show, I do
- 19:48everything to watch every single matches on the card because it
- 19:52as a fan, a spoon, also just to see, maybe I can like something
- 19:54for watching it. Yeah, that's just the part like
- 19:56even though they people say I think to do, I just do it
- 19:59naturally because that's just what I feel like that I should
- 20:02do. Yeah, and it's a good way to be
- 20:05like I'm at my merch table, but your yeah.
- 20:10Oh yeah. Yeah, yeah, let's see.
- 20:13We got here in the chat real quick.
- 20:14We'll give a quick break here but a lot of people here.
- 20:17So we have the SWA GM in the chat saying, my guy dropping the
- 20:21Discord link, so make sure you go check out that Discord.
- 20:25A BJ before dinner. Cool.
- 20:26Looking forward to watching some Miss harleen before work.
- 20:29So this is little Gavin, Gavin is is a super low fan and he
- 20:32comes to Every show dressed as an old-school wrestler, you will
- 20:37me if you're in the high tension Network and you start like,
- 20:40working in that crowd more and doing more, you will come to a
- 20:43show and you'll be getting, you'll be bestowed a gift, which
- 20:46is usually a giant poster board of your drawing.
- 20:49Like they draw you. Did you get the Gavin drawn?
- 20:52You have made it. I got one a long time ago with
- 20:54my whole podcast team. I need an update at one by the
- 20:57way, but yeah, it's beautiful. Gavin and his dad are the
- 21:02coolest fans of all time. So, You'll get to meet Gavin
- 21:04very soon. Geeking out with the metal geek
- 21:06is hanging out with us Jake tribal, Chief is here saying,
- 21:09what's up Leon the king and Dillon Quinn says get familiar
- 21:13with this chick is right here because she's about to take over
- 21:17the entire damn wrestling world faster.
- 21:22H CW Network, we believe in Harlan for sure, her ability and
- 21:24Charisma and professionalism go all the way.
- 21:27We're excited to be working with her.
- 21:29She says she reminds you of Tamina.
- 21:32I'll take that. Yeah, there's a legendary name
- 21:36for us. No, thanks.
- 21:37I'll take it. Yes, so Beast wouldn't now that
- 21:42you're in the in the business you said you've been in about a
- 21:44year and a half. Now about how many matches would
- 21:46you say, are you in the you in the double triple digits, yet, I
- 21:49am. So this past weekend, I just
- 21:51have my 31st 31st match. I believe so and it just was
- 21:56basically like matches that I've had like getting to car for
- 21:59people and it's like having a show and please show.
- 22:00So like day out of that really fast.
- 22:02So 31 right now. Nice and you just wrestled,
- 22:05someone who you are a huge fan of and and got to get in there
- 22:11with your first. What you would say, name of the
- 22:13business, if you want to walk us through that and let us know who
- 22:16that was. Whoo, someone who I've probably
- 22:21idolized in research for so long at least better known as being a
- 22:27part of like NXT and the Tough Enough gang.
- 22:29Back in the day, he was also a Lucha underground for a To yeah.
- 22:33Yeah. She was a big star knowledge
- 22:34underground and possibly one of the people whose work that I've
- 22:38admired the most grown-up and it's so bizarre, how this all
- 22:43turns out - interesting was the one that gave me this
- 22:47opportunity. So I want to give a big thank
- 22:49you to them because without believing in my work I wouldn't
- 22:52have had this match and originally I wasn't scheduled to
- 22:56be a part of this match so it's going to be at least versus
- 23:00Megan Meier's. Who's also a really incredible.
- 23:02Talents that I want to give a shout-out to because she is
- 23:04incredible and she was given like another opportunity that
- 23:09she had to like, you know, step away for this match for.
- 23:11So they reached out to me and said, kind of you want to rest
- 23:14with so-and-so and I'm just like, oh God.
- 23:17Okay, this is real life right now.
- 23:19Yeah. And I accepted offers you like I
- 23:22put a freaking rest of the herd for free for her for, you know,
- 23:24the how much as I've loved her and the match went incredibly
- 23:28well, the crowd was definitely invested in it.
- 23:30I don't know what I did for them.
- 23:33And it was just basically like a dream come true that whole match
- 23:37its leading up to it and everything about it just like
- 23:40made sense and it was just probably like the best
- 23:44experience so far. When I how was it like what kind
- 23:47of pull the curtain back a little bit, how was it setting
- 23:50up the match with her backstage and and being you know you're
- 23:53said you're thoroughly only 30 matches in and and her being
- 23:57been doing this forever and has been on TV and has been
- 23:59established, how was it for like what do you What did you pull
- 24:02away from her? Because I talked to a lot of
- 24:04people a lot and people say, they usually when you have that
- 24:07moment backstage with a talent who was out of that caliber, it
- 24:11evolves, you Pokemon style, you evolve to another level, because
- 24:15you get a little bit of that rub.
- 24:17And you get that experience of like, oh, this is how they do
- 24:19this and it just it changes you who you are in this business if
- 24:22you get a right, if you get a ride situation, just pull it
- 24:27back a little bit. The whole thing was very
- 24:31easygoing. And she was extremely nice to
- 24:34me. And this is the fact that like I
- 24:36was able to work with her and she was willing to take as many
- 24:39things that I want to feel like they're out there.
- 24:41It was very humbling, and she brought out an aggression in me
- 24:44that I very, very much needed the whole match.
- 24:47It was intense, it was brutal. There was a lot of shops in
- 24:50there. If you ready to like, watch that
- 24:52back, it was saying and he just showed me just a sense of
- 24:58confidence. I could like that.
- 24:59I've been missing, she made sure that I was comfortable in there.
- 25:02There and just like just the little things you know when it
- 25:04comes to a man when it comes to just the confidence, like we in
- 25:08the crowd, just taking those moments in a match.
- 25:11She really taught me like how to actually appreciate it.
- 25:14So now you said before a lot of your style is based off the work
- 25:19rate you want to go in there and get to work right in.
- 25:21Would you say wanted? Like if you say you have to work
- 25:24on something on your on you as a character now?
- 25:26Would it be the character works out of thing and playing to a
- 25:29crowd because your style is pretty much just go in there and
- 25:31push that work rights. I believe so.
- 25:34Yes, because like with me in there I'm always focused on like
- 25:39the work week as you mango or it's like the submissions of
- 25:42grapples the technician, but I want to also tell me I don't
- 25:46want to show who I am, besides him that I want to show that,
- 25:50you know, like, the hard side, or like more.
- 25:52So like the say, the bubbly sides, and they here, where it's
- 25:56like, I can connect, like, I want to do, I can connect with
- 25:58you because like, I've already have this connection here, and I
- 26:01don't want to show just like I'm able to kick ass and I also want
- 26:03to show that I am someone that, you know, when not forget
- 26:07course, Leon. The king says, have you ever
- 26:12have you wrestled for gcw? They have some great talent
- 26:17because every how phenomenal talent that I have not worked
- 26:20with them yet. Maybe one day down line, if I
- 26:22Manifest this, but they are a company that I would want to
- 26:26work done while. Yeah.
- 26:28Yeah. I hopefully a high-tension Alex
- 26:31is still in the chair. I'm gonna I'm gonna put
- 26:33something out here. I'm going to try to manifest
- 26:35something hopefully frog, sport comes back.
- 26:39I don't know if you've ever seen frog sport from frogs or I think
- 26:43you would be a great fit for that, and I think you would, you
- 26:47could easily be like the female met makowsky, because you come
- 26:50from a wrestling background and a grappling background and you
- 26:53know how to do a lot of that. And I think you both possess the
- 26:55same attitude where it's just like, hey, we don't our
- 26:58characters just were badasses. You're going to come in because
- 27:00we legit have a background We legit can take you to the ground
- 27:04and if we really want to hold you down, you ain't getting up.
- 27:06You know, I mean I think that's kind of dope.
- 27:10So maybe if like that's a mixed tag somewhere down the line or
- 27:13if when if frog sport makes its return between from between
- 27:18between high-tension doing frog Sport.
- 27:20And now having a collaboration with cfu and that's a whole
- 27:24other women's division of frog sport at, there's a lot of cool
- 27:27possibilities know, for sure. And I love math Bukowski's work.
- 27:32He's one of the best. I would say, I met him only once
- 27:35but that one time he was like extremely nice to me.
- 27:37So, hey, I cannot wait for him to come back and be 100% and
- 27:40start getting the ring because he is, he is a treasure that
- 27:44guy. Sure who were some people on the
- 27:48independent scene that you really would like to work or
- 27:53this current time. So we said like The Hit List
- 27:55buck and I know where three months into the new year but who
- 27:58are some people that are on your list that you would say I'd love
- 28:00to get in there and and mix it up with With there is a ton of
- 28:04people out there. I would say of course, like one
- 28:06of my good friends. Abby Jane, I really want to have
- 28:08like a really good natural hair because we just I feel like
- 28:10whenever we're training together we have incredible chemistry.
- 28:13So I want to have natural hair down the line.
- 28:16There's people that I watch all the time from one aside and
- 28:19like, Masha, that's doing just killing it right now and just
- 28:22Kelly. Yeah, I literally just got, I
- 28:25don't know if you see him over here, I just got two brand-new
- 28:27Masha shirts. Oh my God.
- 28:35You and Marshall be fun. Oh no.
- 28:37We have to go in there and we'd get the holiday each other
- 28:40that's looking. I'm looking for her.
- 28:43Are you into the Strong Style where you know, things get a
- 28:45little stiff and yes, I'll admit it.
- 28:48I'm going, it's 100%. I do I love like to suggest any
- 28:51stuff course as well, just like people in there like Coto de
- 28:55buci. That's what it was like for a
- 28:57long time, one of my top five um we got people that came through
- 29:02to the US like Kenny Omega like Do people just like, I love Sean
- 29:06saw something, like where it's like, this is brutal.
- 29:07This is violent. This is exactly what I mean and
- 29:10this is, you know, you know who if you want that style match.
- 29:14If you know somebody should probably put on that list too.
- 29:16She's very goofy and funny and and you don't think people don't
- 29:19take her seriously and then the word the match starts and she
- 29:22beats the shit at everybody Erica lie.
- 29:27Yeah. I never seen someone look like
- 29:31they're legit hurting their opponents.
- 29:33Like I like Eric. Lee does I've seen Erica Lee and
- 29:35fight and matches where I'm like, she is killing people but
- 29:38it's just one of my honestly, one of my favorite people to
- 29:41watch on the scene. Another one that was awesome on
- 29:44the scene who also can work really start really, really
- 29:47strong, good Strong Style, but she liked her, she reminds me of
- 29:50the bunnies. Remember the bunnies?
- 29:51The old cartoons, like the bunnies are all happy and then
- 29:53they snap in Eternal like these vicious animals will Nightingale
- 29:57was always in that list who were halfway through match.
- 30:00He pulls the straps down and Willows and angry mode and she
- 30:03just Strong's. I'll beat the shit out of you
- 30:05like yeah, there are two other names that.
- 30:08Yeah, a huge fan of little. I just love the fact that she's
- 30:11so she seemed so bubbly and nice and sweet and innocent.
- 30:15And then with the second, she's in there.
- 30:16She's like, someone that you can't mess with it.
- 30:18And I love that like, yeah, I think, I think she is going to
- 30:21have a very, very bright future in aw and roh I think she's
- 30:25gonna be someone that were in 5-10 years.
- 30:28She's going to be a world champion I believe so.
- 30:30Yeah. I know she's very, very
- 30:32talented. Whoo.
- 30:34Is out there. Some name was there's just so
- 30:37much incredible, like talented woman out there that I would
- 30:40love to wrestle. There's someone who I've been
- 30:44trying for a long time and she's establishment named like slowly,
- 30:46but surely heard, he was embarrassed.
- 30:48She's probably like one of the best technicians that there is
- 30:51various. Yeah, she's awesome.
- 30:54Yeah, it's not been released yet, but like, they already,
- 31:04Scott, I just want to have a rematch with her.
- 31:06She's probably one of the best probably been in there with, and
- 31:09I know we can do so much more than we did in that one that
- 31:12yeah. Yeah.
- 31:13Now, are you, are you into inter-gender matches?
- 31:15Are you like, you want to mix it up with any of the guys out
- 31:17there? For sure, for sure.
- 31:19But like that's more. So if they want to come me and
- 31:21they want to actually affect they want, sounds me, I'm Billy.
- 31:24I'll step it up right now you know it's one of those things to
- 31:28where it's funny on II talked to a lot of the female Talent like
- 31:31we love working other girls. But sometimes if the other girls
- 31:33not In the last shot in. It's like you kind of bummed out
- 31:36by it, but you're working to do in the dudes, like hit me, you
- 31:39know, I mean they kill each other which is why I thought
- 31:42going into it why you and Riley probably had one of the most
- 31:47exciting matches I've seen in awhile, you know, because you
- 31:51guys went out there and you were laying them in.
- 31:53You guys were putting some shots and on each other and it looked
- 31:56really fun and she even said afterwards.
- 31:57She was, that was, that was a blast.
- 31:59I told him, I told him what I told her 100%, put lay the shots
- 32:03in and then She got a little cheeky at the end and it was
- 32:06kind of rubbing it in your face after the loss.
- 32:08You through some kicks up at her I was like this is good yeah oh
- 32:12Riley really fun to work with she does hit hard.
- 32:15But here's the thing, I hit way harder, she's Samoan trains and
- 32:19she like she knows how to put the shots in.
- 32:21Yeah I will. How was that match?
- 32:26Making your essential high-tension debut there it was
- 32:29I feel like it was incredible. I feel like the crowd really
- 32:31gave me a warm welcome, which I didn't expect.
- 32:34At all. And I, this this, this track is
- 32:38track of things that we had in that match and the crowd just
- 32:40like, slowly, but surely rising up for it was probably like the
- 32:44best thing out of it that I probably gotten.
- 32:46And I would love to have a rematch with her dumb picture,
- 32:48like we have unfinished business.
- 32:51Yeah, I love it. I want, I need, I need it all.
- 32:55What was like, I had another one.
- 32:57I just, I just completely lost. Well, let's let's make me shift.
- 32:59Gears a little bit from the wrestling side to, to personal
- 33:02side stuff besides As professional wrestling.
- 33:05What are, what are some of your hobbies besides the professional
- 33:08wrestling? Even though it's very much an
- 33:10overwhelming thing in my life. I really am into like Fitness,
- 33:15of course, like I love like CrossFit and I love
- 33:19bodybuilding, like, I'm really into those type of things and
- 33:23decide from that, like, I am very dedicated to my veganism.
- 33:26So next month is going to be my nine years, becoming like you
- 33:30said, becoming a vegan. Wow.
- 33:32And I'm very passionate about that.
- 33:33And It much an advocate for veganism and for the animals and
- 33:37I just, I love doing those type of things.
- 33:40I do have an interest in music, but the problem is, I, if you
- 33:44ask me anything about like are just names or like history
- 33:47behind it, I am going to be completely honest.
- 33:49I don't know much about, but just the music itself.
- 33:52Like I grew up on punk, rock and pop, punk, and things like that,
- 33:55heavy metal. Those, those are my, it's like
- 33:58if I need a really good song on my playlist, when I'm at the
- 34:00gym, those are the things that go to hell.
- 34:04Of that lie. On the king said, I think battle
- 34:06club would be a great fit for you honestly.
- 34:09Yeah, battle back. That's up.
- 34:11That's up in New York. I believe.
- 34:13Masha is one of the trainer's there, there's a girl that was a
- 34:17part of a school up there. She was Wesley in a promotion, I
- 34:20seen her in and she had a great character great to look in ring.
- 34:22She was getting there, but she needed a little bit of a little
- 34:25oomph to her. And she switched over went to
- 34:27battle, battle club and train with Masha.
- 34:29And now she's killing the game. She'll be on the podcast next
- 34:31month. Cosmic, Cosmic.
- 34:34Yes, and she's also like super into like the anime and the, and
- 34:38the pop culture stuff. So yeah, two peas in a pod but
- 34:42yeah, the veganism. So I actually had my first vegan
- 34:46food. I'm definitely not vegan but
- 34:49I'll try anything but and it was be at a wrestling show.
- 34:54So if you go to the LV AC shows, there is a certain, there's a
- 34:58certain man who is like the king of the vegan and that's Ultra
- 35:02Magnus black. I had vegan pizza.
- 35:08I had vegan donuts and there was something else I had and it was
- 35:12all really, really good. I I ate the pizza.
- 35:15I was like, I would have if you would have just said, here's a
- 35:17slice of pizza. I would have never guessed.
- 35:20It was vegan pizza. You saying with the donut?
- 35:22It wasn't, it was, it was good. Yeah, they have to a surprise
- 35:26you man. Yeah.
- 35:28Also, the runner-up for the, the vegan of the world were probably
- 35:31Little Sparrow if I probably don't say his His name.
- 35:34He would probably he would have a hard.
- 35:35He would have a heart attack. That would note is whole
- 35:38gimmick, is the vegan get it? Yeah.
- 35:41Have you ever met him? I have not actually he's out of
- 35:46create a pro so he was he was out of the class with Max.
- 35:49He was he was trained from Max Caster who essentially was like
- 35:52and he's always around with Cardona and Myers, he's always
- 35:57on the major wrestling podcast but his whole thing is he comes
- 35:59out green tights, he throws spinach like if he's a good guy,
- 36:03he throws. But into the air, if he's a bad
- 36:04guy, he throws it in your face. He kind of does like the Daniel
- 36:07Bryant that the champion of the world, like, the Eco Champion,
- 36:09the world. So when he's Healy, does that
- 36:11role, but he's also a really, he's also a fun baby face.
- 36:14But, yeah, yeah, well of us. Yeah, I'll look up.
- 36:17His work is like, honestly, that sounds like probably my new best
- 36:20friend. Yeah, yeah.
- 36:21I think you'll really enjoy him. He's really, really funny.
- 36:24And he's very talented. Can't, he comes from a really
- 36:25good school up in New York and he's been doing very well.
- 36:29He actually came up with these. I wish I had one on me about any
- 36:33of these. Stuff books.
- 36:33I don't think let me just double-check.
- 36:35No it's not but he he has a card he makes and he has like
- 36:39hundreds of them and he keeps them in his bag and then when he
- 36:42goes up to commentary he hands you a card and it's his name.
- 36:45His like, all his stats, everything like everything, he
- 36:48would want put over on commentary, he hands you a
- 36:50commentary card. It's the coolest thing I've ever
- 36:52seen in my life and yeah. And if it was like, I just keep
- 36:56it in my binder now and I was like, that's, it's genius like
- 36:59that he does. That Leo's is what?
- 37:03Some of your favorite restaurants and pizza places
- 37:06restaurants. Um, so it's really hard to find
- 37:09vegan restaurants when you're on the road, which kind of sucks.
- 37:12So, but there is one your by in Jersey that I love going to, and
- 37:17is called good beats. And they have all vegan foods.
- 37:20All vegan desserts being ice creams, probably like the hit
- 37:23there aside from that, I just go to, like, a lot of being cafes.
- 37:28And once I'm there, I give them the big Shadow.
- 37:30I cannot remember the names for the life of me.
- 37:33But what do you what do you do when you're on the road?
- 37:35So like for people who don't know when you're when you're on
- 37:39the life on the road, whether you're a musician or a
- 37:42professional wrestler, your you, you become a gas station.
- 37:46Connoisseur, you find out what's good it what you can do, what
- 37:49you can't do. So what do you?
- 37:51What do you do? When you're on the road and your
- 37:52and your hunger, your all, you always meal prepping and
- 37:54bringing stuff with you or do you kind of hope and pray that
- 37:57you find something when you're out there?
- 38:00If it's like a back-to-back booking throughout the weekend,
- 38:03I do my best to meal prep whenever I can.
- 38:07I'm also very much psychotic when it comes to meal prepping
- 38:09because I like to keep track of all my macros.
- 38:11How much protein I'm taking in Hammonds, car and taken.
- 38:13And so I meal prep before I hit on the road.
- 38:16If it's just like one show, like let's say like in ta or let's
- 38:20say if I go all the way to New York, I try my best to find
- 38:23somewhere, like a sheets or a Wawa and I would DIY a lot.
- 38:27So like DIY is like a burrito with all these veggies on.
- 38:30Or DIY like poles. And the one thing that people
- 38:33always say that I should really likes are eating on the road is
- 38:35probably salads and I'm know. They like nutrition sometimes
- 38:40but it is hard. But like I try my best to like
- 38:43always have something for Carlos.
- 38:44Yeah. They always they always yell at
- 38:47Sparrow. They say, oh, you're get some
- 38:49protein in you and he goes, I guarantee you as a vegan, I have
- 38:53more protein in my diet than you probably do.
- 38:55And you eat meat. I II respect It but there's zero
- 39:01chance. I can give up cheese burgers.
- 39:02I yeah, and this is why I'm built like Buddha, you know.
- 39:11I mean that's why I'm built like a god.
- 39:13It just not the one you want. So so we were kids were going on
- 39:21were peeping at the background. We see Pikachu's, we see Rob.
- 39:24Posters we see what are they DVDs or video games?
- 39:26What do we got going on? This is my little collection.
- 39:29In of DVDs that I have for wrestling.
- 39:32Almost every other paper view from.
- 39:34I think I would say 2001 to like recent because even though I
- 39:39have like live streaming services, I love having it
- 39:42physically. So, this is all your physical
- 39:45media collector. So this was like I would say,
- 39:48like, 20% of what I have. Most of the things I have else's
- 39:52packed away in bins. Yeah.
- 39:56What is, what is your favorite pay-per-view?
- 39:59Whoo, I'm going to be. This is like very much a bias
- 40:04answer but I would say either SummerSlam or Mania because
- 40:07Mania is coming up. Yeah.
- 40:09Are you excited for this menu? Oh, for sure, even though it
- 40:12took me a second to know exactly what the card is because it's
- 40:15really hard to keep up with the main but nowadays.
- 40:17Yeah. But I am very much excited.
- 40:19Yeah, it's a lot of fun and then the the collective started
- 40:23today. So I think there's like three it
- 40:24already de first. Two shows I think are done at
- 40:277:00 tonight. I will be tuning into Josh
- 40:30Barnett blood sport. That is one of my favorite shows
- 40:33so I can't wait for that and I think it's 3:00 in the morning
- 40:36our time. But 12:00 their time is the for
- 40:39the cultures today. Okay.
- 40:42Yeah, which is really, which is really cool.
- 40:45Would you be up for acting in an indie film business?
- 40:50I wouldn't be opposed to it. Acting is not my strong suit.
- 40:53Sadly, when I have the option in high school they either go
- 40:56become a theater kid or wrestling.
- 40:58I feel like wrestling. So, and their hand in hand.
- 41:03Yeah, well, you like horror movies, you could be like you
- 41:05could be a final girl or get killed early, and then you're,
- 41:09you know, you're in and out come out.
- 41:11This is the prize at the end and I'm ready.
- 41:13Oh, you're the killer. Yeah.
- 41:15Take off the scream mask. Like, gotcha.
- 41:20What what type of genre movies? Are you really into, like, what
- 41:23would you say some of your favorites?
- 41:25I would say for is, like, my number one.
- 41:29Any other, I'm very much uncultured on, but I do love
- 41:32like a good anything to do with like Marvel movies.
- 41:35I'm a huge fan of those but like, where is my number one?
- 41:39So I was obsessed with like the Saw movies that the franchise
- 41:43for the longest time I just got back into the screen franchise.
- 41:48Really? Huge fan of those.
- 41:50The new one was really good. My genre of movies - so like a
- 41:55man like a whore aspect and more.
- 41:57So like the boring much either the The Thriller aspects of your
- 42:01movies that. Yeah.
- 42:03I really love like Chucky crying stars as well.
- 42:05I'm huge fan of that and even like the new TV show that came
- 42:08out. It's like it really good.
- 42:10It was really you know who's fun to talk harm was with on the
- 42:13wrestling scene Shay? Okay, Shay McCoy.
- 42:17She is a hint or yeah. Yeah.
- 42:21She's a good time to talk her. Every time I see her.
- 42:23I'm like, see anything new. What's the scoop?
- 42:26What do I? What should I say?
- 42:27Do you like, she's because she Has like she watches the Indy
- 42:30ones like she knows. She's not she's on the no of
- 42:34like the real life. Coach go seek this one out.
- 42:37She's yeah, I just met her recently because we just worked
- 42:41on the roaches. Be shown like a couple months
- 42:43back and she was fantastic and I feel like, obviously, you just
- 42:47told me that. Now, I'm gonna hit her up right
- 42:49now and ask her about the horror movies.
- 42:50Yeah, yeah. Now, when it comes to horror and
- 42:54professional wrestling, have you ever seen the sea?
- 42:56No. Evils Sally has sadly.
- 43:00What do you mean? They're awesome?
- 43:02I like them. They are good and aspect of I
- 43:05feel like they're not terrible but they're good, they're good
- 43:09creepy guy. Stocks a bunch of people has
- 43:12really good for scenes plotlines weird but just a really it's
- 43:16Cain killing people and killing people.
- 43:22And the first one takes place in the Blackwell hotel which is you
- 43:25know my last name so that's kind of dope.
- 43:27Same. Well, that's actually one of my
- 43:31wife's not really in the harbor, not in the high in the
- 43:34wrestling. But Cena, we was one of her
- 43:36favorite. She likes that one could because
- 43:38she's like, because the killer because Kane, he's like he looks
- 43:43menacing. Yeah.
- 43:45Well Jacob, goodnight wolf. My seeing something you're not.
- 43:51I don't give it. That means, I don't know what
- 43:53that means, either. Maybe somebody else comment
- 43:56something and it got taken off. Maybe that's what happened.
- 44:00I think probably know what's happening here.
- 44:06So you see the Pokemon? Are you are you a gamer?
- 44:10I am a gamer. Yes more.
- 44:11So like the older stuff of course nowadays.
- 44:13I've been called off a little bit Pokemon.
- 44:18I love you. Because it was like going up, I
- 44:20gravitated towards it but like I'm again with the connection
- 44:23with the horror. I really love like the Resident
- 44:25Evils and like he starts with Jacob.
- 44:28Jacob. Goodnight was the name of the
- 44:29character? Yeah.
- 44:31Okay. Who's your favorite Pokemon?
- 44:35Ah, this one's gonna be really funny to hear it.
- 44:38It's very much an unpopular opinion, but I do love
- 44:40Jigglypuff why there's no reason behind it.
- 44:43It's cute. I'm a ganger.
- 44:47I like the Ghost Pokemon gang. Are Hunter ghastly there, my but
- 44:50Gengar is my favorite, okay? Just a fat little thing with
- 44:54what they also. It's a dead Clefairy isn't that
- 44:57the whole like deal behind it? They think it's a good ghost of
- 45:01a Clefairy but I always liked, what was The if you actually
- 45:05read some of the like Pokedex entries, like some of those
- 45:08Pokémon are dark and creepy and scary.
- 45:10Like it lures children in by singing and then it eats them in
- 45:14the bushes. It's like, it's like what?
- 45:16That's what was it, the mimic you?
- 45:21Where it's obsessed with Pikachu, and it's a.
- 45:23But if it takes off its costume, like it's so horrifying, you
- 45:27would die. If you look at it or something
- 45:28like that. It's like some dark shit Punk.
- 45:34Actually, whether you're trying to get, yeah, like if you dive
- 45:36in you'll have more of an appreciation for Pokemon.
- 45:41So what is, what are some things you know that you have planned
- 45:44going forward? Obviously we talked about some
- 45:46Talent you want to work for, but what are some goals you're
- 45:49setting for yourself for the rest of 2023 that you're trying
- 45:51to accomplish a goal. Um it's really hard on my God
- 45:57I'm saying I'm sorry I just want to keep working hard and like go
- 46:01as many promotions as I can make a name for myself.
- 46:04I I just I just want to get my name out there right now because
- 46:07this is still the beginning stages for me.
- 46:08And if I can get on my promotions as I can and can I
- 46:12put as many people's like hens and that's really just to go
- 46:15that I have right now. It's doing this interview.
- 46:19It's so infectious. How passionate you are about
- 46:22this. Thankfully when you're talking
- 46:24about wrestling you're on the brink of Tears.
- 46:26Almost like your. Yeah.
- 46:27You are. You are you?
- 46:30Are that Pat? I don't know.
- 46:31I didn't know if you were just nervous for the podcast but it's
- 46:34We just talked about Pokemon and movies and horror movies and it
- 46:38was normal. But as soon as we talked about
- 46:40wrestling, you get choked up, like you, truly love this
- 46:43business, that's their actions. It's super know.
- 46:47It's it's awesome to see. They're like, I don't know.
- 46:51It's well I guess most of the people you work with have been
- 46:55doing it for so long that they become numb to it.
- 46:58But it's your in those early stages where it's like, I don't
- 47:01lose that because like I think that's going to be a good, huh?
- 47:04Unger and a fuel and a drive for you?
- 47:06Like, is there more to the like the wrestling business like how
- 47:11you always said? I don't want to get choked up.
- 47:12Like is there more to the driving factor of why this
- 47:15industry? It means so much to you.
- 47:18I just more so I on a row now I feel like this growing up with
- 47:22it and just like the fact that growing up it wasn't necessarily
- 47:25like the best childhood I would say for myself I went through a
- 47:28lot of dark things and wrestling was the one thing that kept me
- 47:33sane for the longest time And I gave me an infectious and I
- 47:37guess we say this track and I think that drove me away from
- 47:42all that Darkness for so long. That now even though I wanted to
- 47:46do for so long just being in it, I want to give basically get
- 47:49back to the one thing that gave me so much basically like like
- 47:53that in my life. Yeah, that's why I like I
- 47:55respect you so much and I want to do everything possible to
- 47:57still a put that name of wrestling, we put it respect to
- 48:01it you know because I don't want to come in here and do whatever
- 48:04I want. Like put as much work as I kind
- 48:05of. Now I want to like be respectful
- 48:08to my peers. I want to be able to just give
- 48:11back to the one thing that gave me so much.
- 48:13Yeah. Did you do have an end goal to
- 48:17this? Do you want to make it to a WEA?
- 48:19Aw, are you kind of just whatever comes comes as long as
- 48:23I'm in the industry I'm happy with it down the line, my
- 48:27biggest dream and my gold I would want to wrestle in Japan.
- 48:30One day that is like my number one, whether it be a stardom or
- 48:34Design or whatever, maybe whatever company, maybe just
- 48:37wrestling in Japan and make it a name for myself down there.
- 48:39Now, once I'm done, the line is my end goal.
- 48:43Aw pool, like, I love a. Do you so much?
- 48:46I fall and if I have a chance there one day, that's all so
- 48:49amazing. The main like Wei just even
- 48:53though I loved it so much and like, I just feel that was the
- 48:56number one thing I watch for so long.
- 48:58That is not my end goal and maybe that is a bad thing to
- 49:01think about, I don't know. But It's just like it never
- 49:06really appealed to me because the second I were to weigh down
- 49:12the line, it wouldn't necessarily feel the same you
- 49:15know, because like I love pressure missing so much that
- 49:18like the second you get into like a big company like that you
- 49:21are seeing differently. And like the way that you put in
- 49:26so much time in your care from your work.
- 49:28On your own is a little bit taken away from you, when you
- 49:30get sinner, that's it. It seems like a lot of times
- 49:35too, when someone's put into that system, when they then
- 49:38leave, it's hard for them to re-identify themselves because
- 49:41everywhere they go, everyone identifies them as their W
- 49:44character. I mean, look at, look at the
- 49:46Thena, she's for everyone everywhere.
- 49:48Everyone could call her Embers like Athena, but it's okay.
- 49:51Just trying to break that barrier, you know?
- 49:53I mean, and not a lot of people from we, when they, when they
- 49:57start in that system, they have a hard time coming out of it.
- 50:00But then you look at the guys, like, Adam Cole and stuff who
- 50:03They were established before the movie, then went there, and then
- 50:06they're fine when they leave, but when people get snatched up
- 50:09Young by them, they have a hard time.
- 50:11I think the only person who really left that system and, and
- 50:14really reinvented themselves and changed and and did everything
- 50:17differently was was Cody and and Matt Cardona.
- 50:21Yeah, but they went through so much, he'll dislike it.
- 50:25Yeah, he looks even though like, Cody kind of came back but
- 50:28besides from that like, they work their asses off to make a
- 50:30name for themselves outside of it.
- 50:32Did you see what code is doing for?
- 50:33Romania this year, he's going for the so you know, how he
- 50:39wears the weightlifting belts. So, on the inside of his
- 50:42weightlifting belt, it's inscribed every independent
- 50:45wrestling company and wrestling company that he worked for when
- 50:48he left WWE and came back to W. Be so every like roh, every Indy
- 50:53promotion every promotion in Japan, that gave him an
- 50:56opportunity that he went out and cut his teeth on to get him to
- 50:59where he is to get back to WrestleMania.
- 51:01He has all inscribed on the inside.
- 51:04Of his weightlifting belt crazy. That's the fit.
- 51:06I love dude like that because a lot of people come to come back
- 51:09to the Indie scene, they blow up and they go back to TV and they
- 51:14forget you know, that the Indie scene is still a thing and they
- 51:16don't they don't put it over because if they treat it like
- 51:18it's not a thing and for coded to do that is pretty dope.
- 51:22And real quick. Thank you to a Al De, Niro's way
- 51:27out, De Niro's way for the Subscribe.
- 51:30Appreciate you, I'll dinero man. That's another friend of mine
- 51:32doesn't - is he kicking ass? I was just want more people to
- 51:36actually see his work with use great.
- 51:38That sounds like a really good mob named el dinero.
- 51:40Yeah, Carlito's Way, But Alden Iraq.
- 51:43Al Pacino with Robert De Niro. I'm getting all those, all those
- 51:47dopes Mob Wives. Yeah but yeah, it was I really
- 51:54appreciate you coming on. Is there any any other moments
- 51:57or stories that you want to get out there that you want to tell
- 51:59people about? I just listen, I just love you
- 52:06so much and I want to like show as much grit and hard work into
- 52:12it and sister show that I'm capable of a lot of things.
- 52:15So hopefully I just you know, give wrestling the respect that
- 52:19like this really deserves. Yeah.
- 52:20Do do you want to work more baby face?
- 52:22Or he'll like what would you if you had your idea?
- 52:25What would you want to be? Down the line.
- 52:28I would love to be here because I just give me all the freedom
- 52:31in the world to do whatever I want.
- 52:33You know, what's crazy. Like your actual personality.
- 52:37You would be the greatest golden baby face of all time.
- 52:40Oh, like you wouldn't like, you are like a bee Jane in a way
- 52:43where you're, like, I love everything about this business
- 52:46and like going out there, like, I will fight so hard to get
- 52:49this, but that also, you know, how to put the look on and the
- 52:52leather jacket and the, you know, like I'll kill you, you
- 52:55know? I mean like, Yeah.
- 52:56It's you. Have you have versatility.
- 52:59It's dope. I'm super excited.
- 53:02I really hope there's more opportunities to for us to work
- 53:06together on different scenes and keep coming back to high
- 53:08tension. Because, you know, just, that's
- 53:11one experience we had together. I was really cool and it speaks
- 53:15volumes of who you are. I can't wait to keep watching
- 53:17your social media game is dope. I so it's always watch.
- 53:20It's fun watching people stuff. Yeah.
- 53:24Where can people find you on social media?
- 53:26You can find me on social media. My Instagram is Gaza. 20 still
- 53:31do with the little one. Yeah.
- 53:34Twitter is Harley next Lopez with another little line thing.
- 53:37What are these called? I'd only underscore underscore
- 53:40is there? Yeah.
- 53:41Underscores there. I have a Facebook page under the
- 53:43same name and my YouTube channel is also under my same name.
- 53:47You can watch my matches on there and you just support the
- 53:49journey right now. How did you land on the named
- 53:53Arlene? Arlene.
- 53:54Oh, so Really funny actually. So I was going down to help out
- 53:58for begich a wrestling. I was in the car with Sonny
- 54:02defarge, another great mentor and trainer of mine.
- 54:06I was in there with him, a good friend of mine named Judy
- 54:09Underwood, and I believe it was, um, Evelyn saged, my former tag
- 54:13partner, I'm sorry with her. We're not alone without partner
- 54:17and we're definitely here to help out for a show.
- 54:21And I was just reading a hard, like, a harlequin comic book
- 54:24because like, that's this one, the love of my life.
- 54:26I love comic books so much I was just reading through one of
- 54:28those. We get to the show was helping
- 54:30out promoter, came up to me, he's like, hey, if you want to
- 54:33wrestle match tonight and that would have been my didn't match.
- 54:36So I was like, okay, he's okay, what's your name?
- 54:39And I was like, Harley in the sounds pretty sweet.
- 54:43So it was just on a whim that night.
- 54:45Yeah, that just came about, I believe the comic the last one I
- 54:51read that wasn't hers was actually call.
- 54:53It wasn't called Harley, it was called harleen.
- 54:56And it was her origin story of how she met the Joker.
- 54:59And she was bouncing back and forth between going home and
- 55:03going crazy because the stuff Joker was planting in her head.
- 55:06It was a really, really good comic.
- 55:07I think it was only like a one-issue thing or like a
- 55:10three-issue thing and they put it into one book, but it was
- 55:12really really good. It was dark.
- 55:15This lady's the hoarding disorder between those two is
- 55:17just like it gets real like unsettling.
- 55:21Did you see the the someone filmed a scene.
- 55:26Seen are like they took a scene of Lady Gaga going up the stairs
- 55:31as Harley Quinn like at the courthouse.
- 55:34So I guess she's like going up the courthouse and everyone's
- 55:36yelling at her and screaming at her.
- 55:38And the one lady says something, like she said something to her,
- 55:41and she just turns and like, kisses her, and then like pushes
- 55:43her away. But if it's all, if the whole
- 55:47movie is a musical, I'm gonna be really disappointed, but I
- 55:50really want to see her as Harley Quinn.
- 55:53Oh no, I believe that. But Robbie doing a really good
- 55:57job right now so it's hard. Yeah, you know, my you know who
- 56:00my dream booking would have been for Harley.
- 56:03She's no longer with us but I thought Brittany Murphy would
- 56:06have been amazing. Harley Quinn.
- 56:08Yeah, that's a good point. Yeah.
- 56:10Oh God. Yeah.
- 56:11That would have been my dream. Casting was Brittany Murphy for
- 56:14before Harley Quinn. Yeah, I thought she wouldn't.
- 56:16I thought she would have been fantastic, but Lady Gaga could
- 56:20do no wrong. The real one.
- 56:23I didn't even see the whole season of American Horror Story.
- 56:25I just seen the first episode, where they had the the
- 56:29gratuitous for some, with the knife Lady Gaga.
- 56:38Yeah, yeah.
- 56:52Yeah. That whole story where the lady
- 56:55was found in like the Water tank.
- 56:58Yeah, I still have no idea how she got in.
- 57:02Yeah, that's a crazy, crazy thing.
- 57:05Here you go. Do you think harleen with think
- 57:07William Dafoe would be a good Joker or would have been?
- 57:11Of course he does, his face. Looks like the Joker, just
- 57:15visually he. Yeah, he has a big smile.
- 57:18He would be perfect as Joker. The only other person that would
- 57:21be as good as a joker would be Market are not more Mark, Hamill
- 57:27if he played The Joker but just because he could be, the voice

- 57:35somebody a couple minutes here. If you guys have any last

- 57:50It went better than expected. I told you it goes quick, right?
- 57:54Yeah. And thankfully, it was with you
- 57:55of all people are, you are amazing, post, and I love this
- 57:58podcast so much. So I hope my eyes are get on it,

- 58:10we're doing A live stream of Wrestlemania, 28.
- 58:14So we have we always welcome people.
- 58:15So we pick a wrestling event and then we talk about, we all watch
- 58:19it. And then we come back to next
- 58:20week and talk about the event and what we thought of it and it
- 58:22didn't age. Well, whether the matches on it,
- 58:24we're good. So if you ever want to jump in,
- 58:26on those, with this, your, the door's always open, sure.
- 58:29That sounds like a lot of fun. I'll definitely is Halloween for
- 58:33return of Michael Myers. Your favorite Halloween.
- 58:35Our was, it was a good to you. I like the plot Halloween for If
- 58:43I don't remember gay, I would say it was.
- 58:45Okay, that's not good. I'm sorry.
- 58:48Yeah, I don't, I don't remember much so Halloween.
- 58:52Here's my hot tank. Halloween was my favorite horror
- 58:55movie franchise as a kid because the character, the character got
- 58:59me through the movies. And then I didn't care about the
- 59:02plots because I was a kid, all I wanted was the character and
- 59:05that character to kill people and then I got older and
- 59:08re-watch the horror Halloween movies and I was like, part 1.
- 59:11Is a masterpiece is about harm. One of the best horror movies
- 59:13ever made part 2 was a good movie.
- 59:16Part 3 was a fantastic movie even though I had nothing to do
- 59:19with her Michael Myers for as Standalone movie, it was
- 59:23fantastic. Everything after that was dog
- 59:25shit. Until age 20 was kind of cool
- 59:27because Jamie Lee Curtis came back.
- 59:29Yeah. And then the Remake like the
- 59:31thus like Halloween. The nude version was good and
- 59:35then Halloween ends and kills awful.
- 59:39Yeah. All nostalgic basis.
- 59:41Points. Yeah, I was a huge Michael fan
- 59:45and I hated Jason and then I got older and re-watch both movie
- 59:48franchises and I like Jason more than I like haha.
- 59:52Yeah, Michael now. But Freddy's still a Freddy and
- 59:55chakir. My favorites for sure.
- 59:57Yeah. No same here but you but you but
- 1:00:00you're rooting for them the whole time like they're not even
- 1:00:02horror people at this point. You're like yeah, go get them.
- 1:00:06Welcome everybody. This is crazy but All right,
- 1:00:11well that will lie on. We'll wrap it up with that
- 1:00:13Halloween for question. You had the whole podcast and
- 1:00:16you ended it with a Halloween for question, Leon the King
- 1:00:20after killing me Smalls but everyone go check out all her
- 1:00:24social medias, please go subscribe, comment all her stuff
- 1:00:27and be like you are awesome on the a BJ podcast, you know, put

- 1:00:32another content creator cuz I know you are Booker for an
- 1:00:35interview, see she got it out of the way she's ready to go.
- 1:00:38Yeah we got her all prime down Yeah.
- 1:00:42Yeah. It's so it was awesome.
- 1:00:43I had a blast, like I said, the door's always open.
- 1:00:45I can't wait to watch more of your career and what you do and
- 1:00:50like I said, you're going to the worldwide Dojo is a great place
- 1:00:53to be and I think you're going to thrive there.
- 1:00:56Thank you so much and put a good word in the cheeseburger.
- 1:00:58I'd like to have cheeseburger. Yes, and the Mary is honestly to
- 1:01:03Burgers on our trip and let's go right now.
- 1:01:05But once he gets back, I'm gonna bother the hell.
- 1:01:07Yeah, every time I see the merits, we always talk football.
- 1:01:11And I don't even like the eagles, but I talk football with
- 1:01:13her all the time. Yeah.
- 1:01:20I actually just tried booking her.
- 1:01:23Who is this? Maybe for the heart.
- 1:01:25I think he was trying to see if you wanted to be in a movie.
- 1:01:26Maybe, I don't know. Oh, My message to her open.
- 1:01:31Yeah. Slide those DM's another name.
- 1:01:35You said to a huge fan of is defarge.
- 1:01:38Sunny part? Yes, from wasn't defarge.
- 1:01:42Is one of my favorite tag teams. I don't want the, the
- 1:01:45outfielders Travelers or lose those titles.
- 1:01:48But I always said, if they are going to, it has to be crumbles
- 1:01:51in the Fajr prayer here. There's one of my favorites.
- 1:01:55They're so good. So so good.
- 1:01:57He's so wildly entertaining. He deserves to be sunny.
- 1:02:01The part is probably one of the most talented people
- 1:02:03entertainers that I've had and he honestly deserves way more in
- 1:02:07this industry where he should be on television every single week.
- 1:02:10He's really, really good. And then he's been working a lot
- 1:02:13with Brian Ryan, Ace who I've just fell in love with as I
- 1:02:18already loved him as a husband. Yeah.
- 1:02:20And then as a wrestler, I'm like, dude, keep doing what
- 1:02:23you're doing, like, you're killing it.
- 1:02:25You're doing such a good job, like he moves very well for his
- 1:02:28size, HEPA. Well, his facial expressions are
- 1:02:31so good like that, kids going to do some cool shit you're gonna
- 1:02:35and I've seen the beginning stages like we started around
- 1:02:37the same time. So I've seen all the struggles
- 1:02:39and Brian, I'm writing that down, Brian Ace.
- 1:02:41I gotta reach out there, get - on this podcast.
- 1:02:45How is Brian is not booked? We need to go, you just made the
