- 0:00Speaker 1: Coming up on relatables.
- 0:01Speaker 2: Maybe our wives. Yeah, my wife.
- 0:08Speaker 1: I asked me the other day if we want to
- 0:09Speaker 1: bring ployees in the bedroom ship and I said.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Fuck yeah. I said, about time. I've been waiting for this.
- 0:18Speaker 2: This tool needs a rest.
- 0:20Speaker 1: What are we gonna call it?
- 0:23Speaker 2: We were gonna hide it from the kids.
- 0:28Speaker 1: Relatable The Relatables podcast is hosted by myself, Jake Craig Okay,
- 0:40Speaker 1: Daddy and my.
- 0:41Speaker 2: Partner in crime like a KA, Mummy is mummy because
- 0:45Speaker 2: he's when you go to when you want talk.
- 0:46Speaker 1: About you, and Jake is Daddy because he can't say
- 0:49Speaker 1: no to.
- 0:50Speaker 2: You baddies, and you guys are the baddies. So big announcement.
- 0:57Speaker 2: I dare say you've seen us wearing them throughout the past.
- 1:01Speaker 2: Maybe I would say a couple of months, even it's
- 1:03Speaker 2: been a while.
- 1:04Speaker 1: It's a long process, long process, but worth it, worth
- 1:07Speaker 1: the way. Yeah, I'm sure we have our merch guys. Yes,
- 1:11Speaker 1: our first official merch is here. All us, all us.
- 1:15Speaker 2: As you know, we have done a couple drops in
- 1:18Speaker 2: the past where they were in collaboration with our friend Harry.
- 1:21Speaker 2: This is all us.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Body designed it, got it made, got it shipped here
- 1:27Speaker 1: I've made the website and it is live tonight at
- 1:31Speaker 1: six pm Australian Eastern Standard Time, Sydney. Oh yeah, and
- 1:36Speaker 1: this is called the Staples Collection. Yes, we've got three
- 1:40Speaker 1: items that are dropping.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Or do you go first? What we got?
- 1:43Speaker 1: We got my fave, which is the gray hood Have
- 1:47Speaker 1: a look at this bad boy. The gray zip up
- 1:50Speaker 1: says relatables on the front, love heart zipper, love heart
- 1:53Speaker 1: on the sleeve.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Obviously you're wearing.
- 1:56Speaker 1: The same and I'm wearing the same thing, and in
- 1:59Speaker 1: my opinion, in this looks amazing.
- 2:02Speaker 2: I love that. Yeah, I do love that one.
- 2:04Speaker 1: This is the hoodie where it's so very similar design,
- 2:08Speaker 1: but this one's just just a hoodie and it's black.
- 2:10Speaker 2: We've gone with black. We've gone for like the baseball theme.
- 2:13Speaker 2: The thing I like is how there's I like how
- 2:16Speaker 2: the hoods aren't like a spool string, a drawstring. I
- 2:18Speaker 2: love that.
- 2:19Speaker 1: We gotta love hard on the sleeve as well. I
- 2:21Speaker 1: love the fucking tags that Oddie got made. Everything's complete custom.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Everything's custom. It's got a tag where you can scan
- 2:29Speaker 1: this barcode and it takes you to the pod. And
- 2:32Speaker 1: even just like the little tag here that says, Relatables
- 2:35Speaker 1: stay bad. It's fucking made with love.
- 2:38Speaker 2: So sick, and we got one more thing.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Honestly, this turned out really good.
- 2:44Speaker 2: This actually might be my favorite. I don't know. We
- 2:46Speaker 2: were gone for simple. Yeah, we want it.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Because the staple Drop want to be simple to everyone
- 2:50Speaker 1: can wear. So I wanted to leave this one in
- 2:51Speaker 1: the bag to show you the bag that it's going
- 2:53Speaker 1: to come in. We've got Irrelatable's tea. I'll take it
- 2:56Speaker 1: out for you. Yeah, it's just a risk. Why the
- 3:01Speaker 1: fit is so good?
- 3:03Speaker 2: I was. I love them. That looks good.
- 3:05Speaker 1: It's got like a little love heart at the bottom
- 3:07Speaker 1: and again the same tag, like the same, same everything.
- 3:11Speaker 2: It's so so sick. I love it. When if you've
- 3:14Speaker 2: seen me wearing one the last couple months, that's a
- 3:16Speaker 2: sample and that one had purple embroidery, but we wanted blue.
- 3:19Speaker 2: The manufacturer stuffed up and so we were like, oh,
- 3:22Speaker 2: well it looks good, but it needs to be but
- 3:26Speaker 2: no very exciting.
- 3:27Speaker 1: So yes, tonight if you're listening to this in the morning,
- 3:29Speaker 1: or if you're listening to this to right now the
- 3:31Speaker 1: day of this episode comes out, These are dropping at
- 3:34Speaker 1: six pm Eastern Standard time. Sydney, And if you're listening early,
- 3:38Speaker 1: Patreon does get early access.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Patreon does get early access. If you're listening to this
- 3:43Speaker 2: right now, as it's come out before six pm over
- 3:46Speaker 2: on Patreon, they already have access.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Yeah, and you'll be sure to get your hands on them.
- 3:51Speaker 1: And they also might be a chicky little discount coat.
- 3:55Speaker 2: I believe there will be. Yeah, I'm still I need
- 3:57Speaker 2: to go on Squarespace.
- 3:58Speaker 3: I can fucking see if I do what I've just
- 4:00Speaker 3: been like the last couple of drops we've done with Harry.
- 4:03Speaker 2: And I was just like, can we do just Concay's
- 4:05Speaker 2: like yes, and I was like sick. He was through Shopify. Yeah,
- 4:07Speaker 2: we're going through Squarespace, And to be honest, I do
- 4:10Speaker 2: like the look of it better, but back end stuff
- 4:13Speaker 2: is like I obviously never did any back end stuff
- 4:16Speaker 2: for the last time.
- 4:16Speaker 1: I also think it's cool how a lot of podcasts
- 4:20Speaker 1: or in quotes influences when they do merch or clothing drops.
- 4:23Speaker 2: It's not one hundred percent.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Then, No, every single thing, every part of this, every
- 4:28Speaker 1: single part of this is Jake and I. Yeah, which
- 4:30Speaker 1: is really really cool. So we're recording right now in
- 4:33Speaker 1: one half of the garage. The other half of the
- 4:35Speaker 1: garage is fully set up just for me.
- 4:38Speaker 2: It's fucking sick. We bought like a white backdrop of
- 4:41Speaker 2: vinyl white backdrop to do the photo shoot. We were like,
- 4:44Speaker 2: fuck hiring a place again. We bought all these boxes
- 4:46Speaker 2: to put on the merchant. We filled them, printer everything
- 4:50Speaker 2: for like stamps, bags, everything. It's gonna be hectic. It
- 4:53Speaker 2: was kind of surreal.
- 4:54Speaker 1: I had a little bit of a moment because on
- 4:56Speaker 1: the wall Jake's put a couple of the things from
- 4:59Speaker 1: our old setup in the other side of the garage
- 5:01Speaker 1: just to make it look a bit prettier, and our
- 5:03Speaker 1: old seats, if you guys remember from the Wooden Lodge,
- 5:05Speaker 1: are there, and then all the new merch It's just like,
- 5:08Speaker 1: I don't know, depis.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Our journey really well, mate, I'm telling you when we
- 5:11Speaker 2: go to Queensland, I'm voting for a maybe a Wooden Lodge.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Back to the Wooden Lodge, go by some guys, love
- 5:19Speaker 1: you Love you alrighty guys, if you're joining us here
- 5:28Speaker 1: for the first time, this is very exciting because it's
- 5:31Speaker 1: a new concept and it involves not only the baddies.
- 5:35Speaker 2: But their boyfriends. Yes, those with.
- 5:38Speaker 1: So we have currently picked two wonderful baddies. One is
- 5:42Speaker 1: named Tara, the other is named bridget yep, and we
- 5:46Speaker 1: have asked them to basically go on a secret mission
- 5:52Speaker 1: and test their boyfriends with a challenge that we've asked
- 5:56Speaker 1: them to do.
- 5:57Speaker 2: What is the challenge? Shake?
- 5:58Speaker 1: The challenge was to ask your boyfriend if they would
- 6:04Speaker 1: still love you if you were a worm.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Yeah, they're a worm. And the winner is the one
- 6:10Speaker 2: with the best response. Yeah.
- 6:11Speaker 1: So these boyfriends are competing unknowingly, so it's very good
- 6:16Speaker 1: on the baddies' parts to get all the information. So
- 6:20Speaker 1: what's going to happen now is we are going to
- 6:22Speaker 1: call each of the baddies, talk through how they went
- 6:24Speaker 1: with the challenge, a bit about them, a bit about
- 6:27Speaker 1: their relationship, a bit about their boyfriends, and then we
- 6:30Speaker 1: are going to play the results of how their boyfriend
- 6:32Speaker 1: went with the question the age old debate would you
- 6:35Speaker 1: still love me if I was a worm?
- 6:36Speaker 2: Yeah? So first we are going to call Tara. Okay,
- 6:43Speaker 2: this is exciting.
- 6:47Speaker 4: Hello.
- 6:48Speaker 2: Hello is that Tara?
- 6:50Speaker 4: Hello?
- 6:53Speaker 2: Welcome to the boyfriend o limp.
- 6:55Speaker 4: Hello, the whole day of work for this No way,
- 7:02Speaker 4: let's go.
- 7:03Speaker 1: That's what we want.
- 7:05Speaker 2: Let's go. So, how are you going? How are you going?
- 7:08Speaker 4: I'm doing so good. How are you boys doing?
- 7:10Speaker 1: We are going great. We are super excited about this.
- 7:13Speaker 2: I am over the moon.
- 7:15Speaker 1: First things first is we just wanted to ask you
- 7:17Speaker 1: about you and your relationship. How long have you been dating?
- 7:20Speaker 1: What's his name?
- 7:22Speaker 4: Yeah? Of course, so his name is Simon.
- 7:25Speaker 2: He's smart.
- 7:27Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, big guys everywhere give him a gay metal.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Now.
- 7:42Speaker 4: So basically we met through high school, but we we
- 7:45Speaker 4: were sort of mutual friends, but we didn't start dating
- 7:48Speaker 4: until after school. We actually started off as friends and benefits.
- 7:54Speaker 4: And I know you guys have been like you've never
- 7:57Speaker 4: seen like what's called your speptical Yeah, that's the word
- 8:01Speaker 4: I'm looking for about like friends of benefits. But we
- 8:04Speaker 4: are living proof that it actually can work.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Well, maybe that could be your mission to win the
- 8:09Speaker 1: gold medal and prove us wrong. Exactly exactly.
- 8:12Speaker 2: I put my hands up when I'm proven wrong. I'm
- 8:14Speaker 2: proven wrong. That's great. How long have you guys been
- 8:17Speaker 2: dating now?
- 8:18Speaker 4: We've been dating for a year and eight months now.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, definitely proven us wrong. Good great, Chuck.
- 8:26Speaker 4: Yeah, but we yeah, we just like, yeah, I guess.
- 8:30Speaker 4: I saw him at a party, saw him in his
- 8:32Speaker 4: Domino's uniform and all his glory. I just couldn't resist.
- 8:37Speaker 2: That will get you?
- 8:38Speaker 1: Do you still work a Dominoes?
- 8:41Speaker 4: Likely he's does not anymore.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Okay, and we posed you with a challenge to ask
- 8:50Speaker 1: your boyfriend if he would still love you if you
- 8:53Speaker 1: were a worm. What did you think about it when
- 8:55Speaker 1: I first.
- 8:55Speaker 4: Told you, well, I was kind of kep, oh my god,
- 8:58Speaker 4: not that word again.
- 8:59Speaker 2: Anyway.
- 9:00Speaker 4: I was kind of scared because he he's a very
- 9:04Speaker 4: like what's it called, like smartish person as I was
- 9:08Speaker 4: really expecting him to be like, on the more reasonable
- 9:11Speaker 4: side'd be like, know what the hell like?
- 9:13Speaker 3: Oh as if would you ask me that you're a
- 9:15Speaker 3: work exactly?
- 9:18Speaker 4: I was so scared. But ten hours wrong, which is good.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Okay, Okay, how do you how it's going to work
- 9:23Speaker 1: is after we talked to you, We're going to play
- 9:25Speaker 1: it after we hang up.
- 9:26Speaker 2: How do you think he went?
- 9:28Speaker 4: I think he did.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Okay.
- 9:29Speaker 4: He did say that I was his pet at the end,
- 9:32Speaker 4: so I was like, oh, but but I mean he
- 9:36Speaker 4: said that he would put me in his favorite flower,
- 9:38Speaker 4: so I guess.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Yeah, he had a good response. Jake hasn't listened listened
- 9:44Speaker 1: to it, so this is exciting.
- 9:45Speaker 2: Do you haven't? Yeah, I'm excited. And how is it
- 9:48Speaker 2: going to work on our end is?
- 9:49Speaker 1: Uh, we'll hang up, play the phone call with your boyfriend,
- 9:53Speaker 1: and then we'll deliberate what we think and then call
- 9:57Speaker 1: the other baddie do the exact same process, and when
- 10:00Speaker 1: the episode goes live, we're going to ask all the
- 10:03Speaker 1: baddies to comment which boyfriend had a better response. You're
- 10:05Speaker 1: not going to know till the episode comes out, and
- 10:07Speaker 1: we won't need it.
- 10:10Speaker 2: It'll be what we're going to give, like the voting
- 10:12Speaker 2: obviously one week, so the night before or the day
- 10:15Speaker 2: we record the next episode is when we'll do the
- 10:17Speaker 2: count and so that will be who goes on to
- 10:20Speaker 2: the next phase.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Yeah, into the metal matches, which is exciting. So Tara,
- 10:25Speaker 1: thank you very much for competing and we'll see how
- 10:28Speaker 1: you both go.
- 10:30Speaker 4: Thank you so much, boy By.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Alrighty, that went brilliantly to start. Tara is funny, she's
- 10:37Speaker 2: fun and now big everywhere. That's what you want.
- 10:47Speaker 1: We've got her challenge results in front of me right now.
- 10:50Speaker 2: Okay, I'm so excited.
- 10:52Speaker 1: So how did her boyfriend, go, would would you still
- 10:54Speaker 1: love me if I was a one.
- 11:01Speaker 2: Still and put in my favorite plan? Put me in
- 11:09Speaker 2: your favorite plan? That's you man?
- 11:17Speaker 5: Is that what?
- 11:17Speaker 2: I have? A pet? He was at the end. I
- 11:26Speaker 2: love that they were talking in baby voices. Okay, time
- 11:29Speaker 2: to critique.
- 11:30Speaker 1: I think initially, great answer.
- 11:33Speaker 2: I think the the straightaway of course I would love you.
- 11:35Speaker 1: I would put you in my favorite flower. That's almost
- 11:37Speaker 1: ten out of ten. But then my favorite plan, he
- 11:39Speaker 1: should that's not get we gotta we got technical here,
- 11:42Speaker 1: we're getting.
- 11:42Speaker 2: But then at the end he stuffed it up a
- 11:45Speaker 2: little bit. He'd be my little pet. Yeah, he shouldn't stop.
- 11:49Speaker 2: He was scared when he said that.
- 11:51Speaker 1: And then he was like, overall, great result, overall results.
- 11:56Speaker 2: I'm so glad we didn't have to like rated out
- 11:57Speaker 2: of ten. We just have to wait for the next
- 11:59Speaker 2: one and say who wants so much easier to compare
- 12:01Speaker 2: it to something. Okay, that's hilarious Tara's boyfriend. I gotta say, still,
- 12:08Speaker 2: good answer. Straight away he said, of course I love you. Yeah.
- 12:12Speaker 1: I think he did really well. No deliberation, no none
- 12:15Speaker 1: at all.
- 12:15Speaker 2: He just was like yes, yeah.
- 12:16Speaker 1: There was no like what are you talking about and
- 12:18Speaker 1: I just like she was worried about it too.
- 12:20Speaker 2: She was obviously just kind of like recording it under
- 12:22Speaker 2: he didn't see and they were just like she was
- 12:24Speaker 2: like baby the baby voice.
- 12:30Speaker 1: Okay, that was competitor one, Yes, okay, Competitor two is
- 12:36Speaker 1: Bridget Bridget. Let's give her a ring.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Okay, Hello, Hello, is that Bridget?
- 12:44Speaker 1: Hi?
- 12:45Speaker 2: Yesterday, Welcome to the Boyfriend Olympics. How are you going?
- 12:55Speaker 1: Firstly, Well, we just wanted to ask how you're going.
- 12:58Speaker 4: I'm thanks, How are you?
- 12:59Speaker 2: We are both going swimmingly.
- 13:01Speaker 1: You are the second competitor, so we are very excited.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Yes, we have something to judge your boyfriend's attempt against Yeah, ready,
- 13:10Speaker 2: which is good.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Before we get to his results, we wanted to ask
- 13:15Speaker 1: just a little bit bit about yourself and your boyfriend.
- 13:17Speaker 2: How long have you been dating? How isy? What's his name?
- 13:21Speaker 4: His name is Matt.
- 13:22Speaker 2: Matt.
- 13:23Speaker 6: We met at school and we've been dating for three
- 13:27Speaker 6: years in September.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Three years.
- 13:28Speaker 1: Okay, so you've got a longer period of time on
- 13:31Speaker 1: the other competitor.
- 13:32Speaker 2: They were one year and eight months. Yeah, so you're winning, yeah, okay,
- 13:35Speaker 2: but how old are you now to?
- 13:39Speaker 4: Oh?
- 13:39Speaker 6: Well, I'm nineteen. I'm twenty in January, and here's twenty
- 13:42Speaker 6: in a month.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Okay, okay, and we pose you with the challenge to
- 13:47Speaker 1: ask would you still love me if I was a worm?
- 13:49Speaker 1: How do you think when I asked that? And how
- 13:51Speaker 1: do you think your boyfriend went well?
- 13:53Speaker 6: When the question came through, I was like, okay, that's
- 13:56Speaker 6: I was like expecting that.
- 13:59Speaker 4: I was on the point.
- 14:02Speaker 6: You were like announcing it on the episode. I was like,
- 14:04Speaker 6: it's definitely going to be would you love me if
- 14:06Speaker 6: I was.
- 14:09Speaker 2: Basic?
- 14:10Speaker 6: Checked out? That's fine? And then I was like I
- 14:15Speaker 6: had to, Like I asked him and I was like,
- 14:16Speaker 6: oh god, he's gonna reply and be like, I don't know.
- 14:19Speaker 6: I always say yes because I always ask him the
- 14:21Speaker 6: stupid ship like.
- 14:22Speaker 2: That, Ah, he's ready for it.
- 14:24Speaker 6: Then, yes, he was ready, but I hadn't asked him
- 14:27Speaker 6: what I loved? Would you feel love me if I
- 14:28Speaker 6: was went for a while like, I haven't actually asked
- 14:30Speaker 6: him that specific question. Yeah, it's a one time so
- 14:34Speaker 6: I mean his response was not.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Not terrible, Okay.
- 14:39Speaker 6: Openly hilarious, but it was. It wasn't bad. It wasn't
- 14:43Speaker 6: like he was like, no.
- 14:45Speaker 2: That's all right. So the way this is going to work.
- 14:48Speaker 2: Bridge it is, so we've heard the first one, yours
- 14:50Speaker 2: is going to be this your boyfriend would be the
- 14:51Speaker 2: second one. And then when we're done, so we're going
- 14:53Speaker 2: to hang up with you, We're going to play the
- 14:56Speaker 2: or like the results of your boyfriend's answer, and then
- 15:00Speaker 2: from there we're not going to know the results until
- 15:02Speaker 2: this episode comes out, and we're going to get everyone in.
- 15:05Speaker 2: All the baddies are going to in the comment's going
- 15:07Speaker 2: to be the people who vote.
- 15:08Speaker 1: Yeah, so very exciting. We're going to leave you there
- 15:14Speaker 1: and we're going to play Matt's results. Yes, thank you, bye,
- 15:19Speaker 1: thank you?
- 15:20Speaker 2: Would you love me if I was aware?
- 15:23Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 15:25Speaker 2: Yeah, the most real Yeah yeah yeah, would you love
- 15:32Speaker 2: me if I was aware? But let's replay that. Replay
- 15:36Speaker 2: Yeah he was slow, but the end my too cute.
- 15:45Speaker 2: That was cute. Two very different responses. So so the
- 15:51Speaker 2: the thing I'm happy with is like, straight away both
- 15:53Speaker 2: of them, no deliberation, just said yes.
- 15:55Speaker 1: Yeah, so well this is highlighting the best of the
- 15:59Speaker 1: best boyfriends fair so no one really loses.
- 16:01Speaker 2: But the baddies know how to choose a boy Yeah.
- 16:05Speaker 1: What's exciting about this is usually on the pod me
- 16:07Speaker 1: and Jake will deliberate and pick one, but we don't
- 16:10Speaker 1: really have any power.
- 16:12Speaker 2: Nah, we have zero sway here. I don't even think
- 16:13Speaker 2: our votes should count. We can just say what we think. Okay,
- 16:16Speaker 2: they don't even count at all, So like, whatever we
- 16:18Speaker 2: vote for, I don't even think should go towards. The
- 16:20Speaker 2: only time count our votes should count is if it's
- 16:22Speaker 2: a draw in the comments, and then you and I
- 16:25Speaker 2: have to then deliberate with each other and agree on one.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Who do you think? I like both of them. I
- 16:30Speaker 2: liked both of them.
- 16:32Speaker 3: The baby voice of the first on Tara's boyfriend, Oh,
- 16:37Speaker 3: I gotta say, though, fuck Bridget's boyfriend Matt, and so
- 16:43Speaker 3: he's like, yeah, you just ca He's like, yeah, I would,
- 16:47Speaker 3: I would, and he's like, too cute.
- 16:49Speaker 2: That thing sent me too cute.
- 16:52Speaker 1: Yeah, otherwise I would have gone Tara like light and day.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Even Tara said in the phone call, like if he
- 16:58Speaker 2: didn't say Pete, he said, it's funny.
- 17:01Speaker 1: So the first one at the end he like kind
- 17:04Speaker 1: of stuffed up, but then dumbled. At the end of
- 17:06Speaker 1: the Bridges one he did even better.
- 17:09Speaker 2: I don't know, I'm going to lean towards Bridget. I
- 17:12Speaker 2: was gonna say Tara, Okay, so disagree. Okay though, that's
- 17:15Speaker 2: fine because we mean nothing. We're just here as the host.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Yeah, so, batties, it is now up to you, guys.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Comment below who you thought one Tara's boyfriend, the plant
- 17:30Speaker 1: one or Bridget's boyfriend. You're too cute, You're too cute
- 17:35Speaker 1: in the comments below, and if you want to get involved,
- 17:37Speaker 1: there will be a link in the top of the description.
- 17:39Speaker 1: And there's two more rounds of challenges and then the
- 17:43Speaker 1: Metal matches.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Yeah, so you can still submit yourself and your boyfriend
- 17:47Speaker 2: to be part of the first round of challenges and
- 17:51Speaker 2: then we will announce the Metal matches. All right, baddies,
- 18:05Speaker 2: I will say one thing before we get into the
- 18:08Speaker 2: rest of the episode, and that is, if you haven't already,
- 18:11Speaker 2: go head over to Patreon. Because first things first, you're
- 18:14Speaker 2: going to get book Club early on Monday. Sure. Second thing. Second,
- 18:18Speaker 2: you're going to get Thursday extra episode just like this one.
- 18:21Speaker 2: Third thing. Third, you now get the merch early. Oh yeah,
- 18:25Speaker 2: and it's going to be and more coming here, buddy,
- 18:29Speaker 2: to be announced in this episode. But I have an update.
- 18:33Speaker 2: What is it? Or I should say? Should I say?
- 18:36Speaker 1: Like thereof an update, the Dickhead note update I'm talking
- 18:39Speaker 1: about for a few weeks.
- 18:40Speaker 2: Yeah, so we went with the will we waiting for?
- 18:43Speaker 2: To be fair, I think we did say that we'll
- 18:44Speaker 2: see what the baddies saying in the comments about how
- 18:47Speaker 2: what was your idea? Leave? Quick backstory. I parked outside
- 18:52Speaker 2: my friend Justin's house and then the next day I
- 18:55Speaker 2: left my car there over night. The next day there
- 18:56Speaker 2: was a note on it that said, don't park here again. Dickhead.
- 18:58Speaker 2: I said to him, this had to be you. He said, no,
- 19:00Speaker 2: it wasn't. I came, spoke about it in the podcast,
- 19:02Speaker 2: went home, went back to his house to pick something up,
- 19:04Speaker 2: and then I said to him, like, oh, how's I
- 19:06Speaker 2: spoke about that note on the pod because I texted
- 19:08Speaker 2: him and I was like, it's crazy that someone did
- 19:10Speaker 2: that and it wasn't you. And he goes, oh, no,
- 19:11Speaker 2: it was me. He didn't Beth tell you. And so
- 19:13Speaker 2: now the whole thing is like he's told Beth at
- 19:16Speaker 2: the dog park. I wasn't there that day, and Beth
- 19:18Speaker 2: said she was going to tell me, but she chose
- 19:19Speaker 2: not to tell me. I was she was fully gonna
- 19:21Speaker 2: let me, like go through this whole rigamarole of making
- 19:24Speaker 2: a fake account to go to the DERMOI community page
- 19:25Speaker 2: and say sorry, like try and make someone feel bad,
- 19:28Speaker 2: even though it was just justin that did that note.
- 19:29Speaker 2: So now we were trying to get back at Beth. Right,
- 19:31Speaker 2: quick backstory. Now, Oddie had a pretty good idea I
- 19:34Speaker 2: think where he said, when you and Beth go to
- 19:36Speaker 2: like a cafe or something, have a pre written note
- 19:39Speaker 2: where so she walks off, you just put the note
- 19:40Speaker 2: under her windshield and it says something like your fucking
- 19:44Speaker 2: beautiful call me when you want to leave, that fucking
- 19:46Speaker 2: wimp or whatever. Yeah, and don't forget the whimp takes
- 19:50Speaker 2: the wi I'm the whimp.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Yeah, And so then it was going to be like
- 19:53Speaker 1: a thing where she's like, well, what the fuck? And
- 19:54Speaker 1: I was like gonna try and film a reaction, so
- 19:57Speaker 1: like full honesty. I actually just like forgot about.
- 20:00Speaker 2: But Oddie sends me a picture of a comment on
- 20:03Speaker 2: was it Patreon yeah or was Spotify? And someone goes
- 20:07Speaker 2: and I think this is what I will actually do.
- 20:09Speaker 2: So they said, go create the fake account on the
- 20:12Speaker 2: community page, right, and what you should do is take
- 20:15Speaker 2: a photo of best car either like on the street
- 20:18Speaker 2: while she's driving, like just try and catch her out,
- 20:20Speaker 2: or like where it's parked somewhere, and on the fake account,
- 20:23Speaker 2: do a post in the community page and be like
- 20:25Speaker 2: watch out for this horrendous driver, or something like be
- 20:28Speaker 2: careful on the streets of Dremoyne. Just see what she does.
- 20:32Speaker 1: I love it.
- 20:34Speaker 2: I've also had a thought as well, like she will
- 20:37Speaker 2: one hundred percent go on the account and suck this
- 20:40Speaker 2: person out. And if it's a brand new account that's
- 20:42Speaker 2: made in twenty twenty five, she might be like nah,
- 20:45Speaker 2: she'll be like this has she knows. I think I
- 20:47Speaker 2: can help you here because I was thinking I need
- 20:49Speaker 2: to go join. I can help you. I can help you.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Back in the day, I used to prank my mates
- 20:53Speaker 1: on Marketplace and when they had items up for sale,
- 20:56Speaker 1: I made a fake account and I'd message him and
- 20:58Speaker 1: pretend to buy it. I think it was made twenty
- 21:00Speaker 1: twenty three, and his name's like Pheil. Okay, his name
- 21:04Speaker 1: might be film Tits, but you can change it.
- 21:07Speaker 2: But you can change it.
- 21:09Speaker 1: I got one of my friend's ones when he was
- 21:11Speaker 1: selling a car that might have been was it me?
- 21:13Speaker 2: I might have done you too? I did everyone. Yeah,
- 21:15Speaker 2: I just I have a feeling, like when you said
- 21:17Speaker 2: film film of tits, I have a feeling. I remember
- 21:20Speaker 2: that and I remember being like, what the fuck? And
- 21:22Speaker 2: then I was selling a car. But that's hilarious. That's
- 21:26Speaker 2: a good idea, because I was. My other plan was
- 21:28Speaker 2: join the community page and then just like try and
- 21:31Speaker 2: message someone and just be like I hope they're fucking cool,
- 21:34Speaker 2: and be like, hey, I want to do it to
- 21:35Speaker 2: my girlfriend. Can you be the one who posted? Oh shit?
- 21:39Speaker 2: Because it would be legit, legit.
- 21:41Speaker 1: I'll see if I can find this account, and yeah,
- 21:43Speaker 1: you will say it's made twenty twenty three.
- 21:44Speaker 2: You can find this account. That's what I'll do. Okay,
- 21:47Speaker 2: good updates. But so that's the update. And then the
- 21:51Speaker 2: other thing I had was I've spoken about my mum
- 21:53Speaker 2: a couple of times, obviously, and now she sends me
- 21:56Speaker 2: the weirdest shit.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Like reels your mom's it's like she's just it's almost
- 22:02Speaker 1: like she's he doesn't get it. No, it's almost like
- 22:06Speaker 1: my mum is trying too hard to be a mum,
- 22:08Speaker 1: if that makes any sense.
- 22:10Speaker 2: Okay, Yeah, this morning I wake up to a photo
- 22:12Speaker 2: just in text messages, like she just sent me a photo.
- 22:14Speaker 2: She saved it from Facebook and sent it to me
- 22:16Speaker 2: on text message because you don't reply all the wise
- 22:18Speaker 2: because I don't know why, and it's just sixteen etiquette rules.
- 22:22Speaker 2: You probably didn't know, but should etiquette rules. Etiquette rules?
- 22:26Speaker 1: Yeah, right, And I was like, okay, thank you as if,
- 22:30Speaker 1: like thanks for looking out for me, just talking like
- 22:32Speaker 1: etiquette rules. And I was like, fuck, I'm gonna read
- 22:33Speaker 1: these out. Number one, you should rise when someone enters
- 22:36Speaker 1: the room.
- 22:37Speaker 2: Stand up.
- 22:37Speaker 1: She's looking out for you, man, she wants you to
- 22:38Speaker 1: be a bad person. You let others exit before you enter.
- 22:42Speaker 1: You say my pleasure instead of no problem. You listen
- 22:45Speaker 1: before you speak. You keep your phone off the table.
- 22:47Speaker 1: You keep your shoes polished at all times. You lower
- 22:50Speaker 1: your voice and serious moments. You wait to be addressed
- 22:53Speaker 1: in formal settings. You hold eye contact during handshakes. You
- 22:56Speaker 1: ask about others before talking about yourself. You walk beside
- 22:58Speaker 1: your guest and not ahead. Right handwritten thank you notes.
- 23:01Speaker 1: You leave space in group conversations. You wait until everyone
- 23:04Speaker 1: is served. You compliment character, not appearance. You dress for
- 23:07Speaker 1: the context, not attention.
- 23:09Speaker 2: And I was I read this once and then it's
- 23:11Speaker 2: the second I read it, and I just wanted to
- 23:13Speaker 2: say to my mum, when have you done any of these?
- 23:18Speaker 2: I was thinking, this is the person. Yeah, what I
- 23:23Speaker 2: said thank you was if like thanks looking out for me,
- 23:26Speaker 2: you send me that. It was the weirdest thing. It
- 23:31Speaker 2: made me think I want to start like maybe a
- 23:32Speaker 2: segment where we react to the reels she sends me
- 23:35Speaker 2: because they are tragic.
- 23:36Speaker 1: Bro well, thinking about her, it might be it must
- 23:39Speaker 1: be slightly hard to be like a mother on the
- 23:42Speaker 1: other side of the world. It definitely would, and like
- 23:44Speaker 1: to actual to actually like mother mother. Oh yeah, she
- 23:47Speaker 1: can't mother because she's not impossible.
- 23:50Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I also have you to be fair, like,
- 23:53Speaker 2: at what age do you stop being I guess mothered
- 23:57Speaker 2: and fathered or child did because I feel like my
- 24:01Speaker 2: dad I hang out with him now more and more
- 24:03Speaker 2: instead of him like you know, he didn't take me
- 24:06Speaker 2: to places. I don't rely on him for certain things,
- 24:08Speaker 2: like he's still my dad, but like, at what point
- 24:11Speaker 2: do you does he stop fathering me? Because my mom,
- 24:13Speaker 2: to be fair, she like it's still she's my mom,
- 24:15Speaker 2: but like she stopped mothering me a long time ago
- 24:17Speaker 2: because I moved to Australia and she lived in Canada.
- 24:19Speaker 1: Yeah, that's an actual good question, hey, because I'm thinking
- 24:23Speaker 1: about my relationship with my parents and it's definitely changed
- 24:26Speaker 1: where they don't do as much for me, if not anything.
- 24:30Speaker 1: But yeah, like there's still that like father and mama, mama,
- 24:34Speaker 1: mama mother instinct.
- 24:36Speaker 2: There isn't there.
- 24:36Speaker 1: Yeah, Like it's just it's just slightly there. It's interesting you,
- 24:41Speaker 1: but it's really nice now when we're like twenty four
- 24:43Speaker 1: to twenty five, when my mom or dad will do
- 24:46Speaker 1: like something that's stereotypically like a father or mother thing.
- 24:50Speaker 1: She's out of the blue, and you're like, oh, thanks,
- 24:52Speaker 1: I forget about this. Yeah, funny.
- 24:56Speaker 2: I mean I guess I would go to my dad
- 24:59Speaker 2: for advice for sure.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Yeah, that's that's what I was thinking a lot for
- 25:03Speaker 1: like life advice. I suppose it changes, though the sort
- 25:06Speaker 1: of like challenges we face as young adults are way
- 25:10Speaker 1: harder challenges than driving me to the movies when I'm fifteen.
- 25:14Speaker 2: Yeah, now we're.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Going for loan advice or ye place to buy a property. Yeah,
- 25:19Speaker 1: like talking to them and that doesn't seem like parental advice,
- 25:21Speaker 1: but it still.
- 25:22Speaker 2: Is from him, isn't it though. You're right? Yeah, I
- 25:25Speaker 2: guess they never stop. Actually, yeah, parenting. You parentings are
- 25:28Speaker 2: what I was looking for earlier.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't think so, it's interesting, funny, dynamic, Yes.
- 25:33Speaker 2: Shit stopped because she definitely Yeah, I don't know, like
- 25:36Speaker 2: I'm like really thinking about like I see my dad
- 25:38Speaker 2: as my dad, and I see my mom as my mom.
- 25:40Speaker 2: But you know, no more permission, no more fucking like
- 25:43Speaker 2: like I could say to either one of them, I'm
- 25:44Speaker 2: moving to Germany. Yeah, if they say no, I'm going
- 25:47Speaker 2: to say I wasn't asking, you know what I mean, Like,
- 25:49Speaker 2: isn't it. It's so weird?
- 25:51Speaker 1: Yeah, when was that shift? Yeah, I'm the same too. Yeah,
- 25:54Speaker 1: it's funny too because.
- 25:55Speaker 2: Some people, but we're different. Some people's parents would hold
- 25:58Speaker 2: sway over their life for a while due to just
- 26:01Speaker 2: like cultural differences. And then also, yeah, dynamic, great point.
- 26:03Speaker 1: We were both in a lucky position where our parents
- 26:06Speaker 1: were both very stand offish, whereas especially getting out of school,
- 26:11Speaker 1: for a lot of young people, their parents are like
- 26:13Speaker 1: you have to go to union, Yeah, you have to
- 26:16Speaker 1: get a trade. Where I think our parents were lucky
- 26:19Speaker 1: to have the same mindset as they're like, you'll figure
- 26:21Speaker 1: it out. Yeah, And I guess that just comes down
- 26:23Speaker 1: to parenting approach and how they were brought up and
- 26:26Speaker 1: what they believe is right. Yeah, and I think ours
- 26:28Speaker 1: just happened slightly earlier because the older you do get
- 26:31Speaker 1: like when you do finish union, in your parents' eyes.
- 26:33Speaker 2: You're successful.
- 26:33Speaker 1: Yeah, then they step away, and in reality, they could
- 26:36Speaker 1: have stepped away anyway.
- 26:38Speaker 2: Yeah. We both were lucky enough to have parents where
- 26:40Speaker 2: it's like, oh, that's their life. You know, they get
- 26:42Speaker 2: to choose what they want to do with their life.
- 26:44Speaker 1: I'm not going to have like a Well there's a
- 26:45Speaker 1: fine line thinking about being a parent too, because initially
- 26:48Speaker 1: I was always like parents.
- 26:50Speaker 2: Who tell their kids what to do, Like that's so harsh.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Yeah, but also being a if you were a parent,
- 26:55Speaker 1: they love them, yes, but also like your worst nightmare
- 26:58Speaker 1: is you say you figure it out self and your
- 27:00Speaker 1: kid does nothing exactly.
- 27:01Speaker 2: Yeah, that could be a massive and I see that.
- 27:04Speaker 1: Yeah, Whereas I guess our parents must have done it
- 27:07Speaker 1: because they saw some type of drive in us, Like
- 27:10Speaker 1: we were doing shit. It wasn't like we're just like
- 27:12Speaker 1: smoking bongs and skating.
- 27:14Speaker 2: It's a good point. Yeah we're doing it's a good point.
- 27:17Speaker 1: But it all comes down to also how they were
- 27:19Speaker 1: brought up and what their parents did to them, and
- 27:21Speaker 1: it's like goes down different generations. So now you think,
- 27:24Speaker 1: but the kids who were told they have to go
- 27:26Speaker 1: to university will have learned from that and be like,
- 27:28Speaker 1: well I fucking hate it. I'm not going to tell
- 27:29Speaker 1: my kids to do it.
- 27:30Speaker 2: Yeah, fair, I'm pretty my dad's parents were mad chill.
- 27:34Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure my dad's parents weren't. That's what he is.
- 27:37Speaker 2: Oh really, so he's gone opposite and then my dad's
- 27:39Speaker 2: parents are like mad child, I'm pretty sure they did.
- 27:41Speaker 2: They were just like, yeah, do what you want. Yeah,
- 27:42Speaker 2: And so that's also just been like he's probably thinking
- 27:45Speaker 2: all that worked out for me. Yeah.
- 27:46Speaker 1: So my dad's parents were mad religious, so he was
- 27:49Speaker 1: just like that like sort of made him be like
- 27:52Speaker 1: because that's so structured.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Yeah, he's just like, no, you can do whatever you want. Yeah.
- 27:56Speaker 2: To be fair, best's parents were, they were quite strict. Yeah,
- 27:59Speaker 2: and she she has said that, Yeah, like because of
- 28:03Speaker 2: how strict her parents were, there's different things that she knows,
- 28:07Speaker 2: like she wants to do when she has a kid,
- 28:09Speaker 2: like simple simple things, right, So, uh, they were one
- 28:15Speaker 2: of their like super healthy kind of almond parents where
- 28:18Speaker 2: it was like I haven't heard that, Yeah that super
- 28:22Speaker 2: healthy bro Like a treat for them was like half
- 28:25Speaker 2: a buck. Like they would mix two boxes of cereal together,
- 28:28Speaker 2: one cocoa pops, one fucking rice bubbles, and that was
- 28:30Speaker 2: like a treat really, so you got like half of
- 28:32Speaker 2: the bowls rice bus Like I'm talking like, yeah, that
- 28:34Speaker 2: like healthy, healthy, that type of thing, like lots of
- 28:37Speaker 2: sports and shit. And Beth said that I one time
- 28:41Speaker 2: was thinking, like, oh, that's really good that they like
- 28:42Speaker 2: did that. You know, they taught you about healthy And
- 28:44Speaker 2: she said, the only bad thing is that so you
- 28:46Speaker 2: and I we could we could buy a cupboard full
- 28:50Speaker 2: of lollies, ice cream in the fridge and everything, and
- 28:53Speaker 2: intuitively just because we were like one reason is because
- 28:57Speaker 2: we were allowed to have it as a kid, like
- 28:59Speaker 2: intuitively just eat some of it sometimes. But one thing
- 29:04Speaker 2: that Beth thinks that her parents, being so strict on
- 29:06Speaker 2: that stuff had done. I don't want to speak for her,
- 29:08Speaker 2: but she has said this for is that it like
- 29:09Speaker 2: has made it so deep in her like if there's
- 29:12Speaker 2: chocolate and fruits that fucking shit needs to be eating. Yeah,
- 29:15Speaker 2: that's fine because she can be allowed to do it
- 29:17Speaker 2: too now because now she buys it, she makes her choices,
- 29:20Speaker 2: and so it's like, yeah, it's big, sweet sweet tooth
- 29:23Speaker 2: has become yeah, like a thing where if it's in
- 29:25Speaker 2: the house. Yeah, like she it's yeah.
- 29:28Speaker 1: I've heard that before people I know they're from really
- 29:30Speaker 1: big families and when they bought food, if there was
- 29:34Speaker 1: food there, they would eat as much as possible because
- 29:37Speaker 1: if they would go out for the day, there's seven
- 29:39Speaker 1: or eight kids that eat all the food. You to
- 29:41Speaker 1: come home and there's no food there, Exactly, you wouldn't
- 29:43Speaker 1: have because we I was from two, I could have
- 29:45Speaker 1: one portion of ice boxes, have one icebox.
- 29:47Speaker 2: Ya, they're there, they're having three or four Yeah exactly. Yeah.
- 29:49Speaker 2: They need to like just make sure they can save
- 29:52Speaker 2: her this.
- 29:52Speaker 1: Moment literally Yeah, yeah, hilarious. So that's just like one thing. Yeah,
- 29:57Speaker 1: I might ask be about it again and get like
- 29:59Speaker 1: a more solid answer. She said to me once, and
- 30:02Speaker 1: I was like, that does make sense, Like I don't
- 30:03Speaker 1: get food thought really and like, yeah, portion controls are thing,
- 30:06Speaker 1: and I've it's it's funny. It's sort of like a
- 30:10Speaker 1: balancing act.
- 30:11Speaker 2: Yeah, it also makes you think because like her parents
- 30:13Speaker 2: obviously were great parents. Like all of the kids have
- 30:16Speaker 2: grown up to get like go into like good jobs
- 30:18Speaker 2: and like have good work ethic and shit. And they're
- 30:20Speaker 2: all healthy, like none of them are like unhealthy. But
- 30:23Speaker 2: at the same time, my parents who honestly let me
- 30:25Speaker 2: have the freedom of everything and I can do whatever
- 30:27Speaker 2: I want, and I've ended up pretty much the same. True,
- 30:29Speaker 2: you know what I mean.
- 30:29Speaker 1: So it's like it's nothing's wrong, like each each one
- 30:31Speaker 1: of them actually is probably the right thing true too
- 30:33Speaker 1: true exactly, Yeah, yeah, there is no wrong. It's sort
- 30:36Speaker 1: of like you also have to work around how your
- 30:39Speaker 1: kid acts. Yep, not saying your brother's bad, but he
- 30:43Speaker 1: has a few struggles from a similar upbringing.
- 30:46Speaker 2: I will say the Oh, here's actually one thing I
- 30:51Speaker 2: will say, I think what im One factor of why
- 30:54Speaker 2: my younger siblings are different to my sister, my older
- 30:57Speaker 2: sister and myself is because when Juanna and I were
- 31:00Speaker 2: their age or actually no, not their age now they're
- 31:02Speaker 2: all older now, but like when we were younger, like
- 31:05Speaker 2: when Joanna and I before before ten and going into
- 31:07Speaker 2: early teens, my mom and my stepdad had no money,
- 31:11Speaker 2: and my dad and my stepmom had no money, and
- 31:13Speaker 2: so it was more of like a there was freedom,
- 31:15Speaker 2: but also it was kind of like there was a
- 31:16Speaker 2: cap on what could be bought. So it was like
- 31:19Speaker 2: you just have to wait for Christmas and birthdays to
- 31:20Speaker 2: get stuff, which is still super lucky. But when we
- 31:23Speaker 2: started to get a bit older, that's when my parents,
- 31:24Speaker 2: my dad started to make good money, and then my
- 31:26Speaker 2: mom and my stepdad they also started to make good money,
- 31:29Speaker 2: just like well off and yeah, like they just like
- 31:32Speaker 2: figured it out and like business did well or whatever.
- 31:34Speaker 2: And so my younger siblings from when we Joanna and
- 31:37Speaker 2: I weren't allowed to have stuff at that age, but
- 31:39Speaker 2: when my younger siblings got that age, they were allowed
- 31:41Speaker 2: to have everything. And so it was a thing of
- 31:43Speaker 2: like being allowed to just like get a new fucking computer,
- 31:47Speaker 2: play video games until two am every day. And that's
- 31:49Speaker 2: what Ethan does now. And it's just one thing that
- 31:51Speaker 2: I never tell my parents, like I never say you
- 31:53Speaker 2: need to stop it from doing this shit, but fuck,
- 31:56Speaker 2: I just want to break everything, every bit of technology
- 31:58Speaker 2: in that little fucker's roommate.
- 32:00Speaker 1: I think it's also a bigger problem outside obviously your family,
- 32:03Speaker 1: just younger kids. Oh, it's huge, and technology and the
- 32:06Speaker 1: addiction to it.
- 32:07Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like we'll have.
- 32:08Speaker 1: To figure out strategies.
- 32:10Speaker 2: Like I don't want my kid to be an iPad kid.
- 32:12Speaker 1: No, Like I don't want to be at a dinner
- 32:13Speaker 1: and like I know, like there might be a time
- 32:15Speaker 1: and a place to do it.
- 32:15Speaker 2: Yeah, like they don't need the iPad. I went out
- 32:18Speaker 2: for dinner the other night.
- 32:19Speaker 1: It's so normal it is. And I don't judge either,
- 32:21Speaker 1: but I don't.
- 32:21Speaker 2: Want my kid to do it. There was a table
- 32:23Speaker 2: on my left, big table, five kids all on iPads, right,
- 32:27Speaker 2: and I was like, oh shit, look at that. And
- 32:28Speaker 2: I was thinking, to be fair, it's like if they
- 32:29Speaker 2: were absolute shits, you'd want them to shove up so
- 32:31Speaker 2: you can enjoy your dinner. Table to my right, family
- 32:34Speaker 2: of four, two parents, two kids. They were playing you know.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:37Speaker 2: I was like, that's one way to keep him busy. Yeah,
- 32:39Speaker 2: Cassie's brother.
- 32:40Speaker 1: They draw, They bring drawing books.
- 32:42Speaker 2: That's what do you mean? That's what you see. Every
- 32:44Speaker 2: restaurant I went to as a kid was like, do
- 32:46Speaker 2: you want some coloring and pencils?
- 32:47Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 32:47Speaker 2: What happened to that?
- 32:48Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly. And I think it's so much better for
- 32:50Speaker 1: developmental stage. And I don't want to judge either, because
- 32:53Speaker 1: kids are shits, and like, if you just want to
- 32:55Speaker 1: have an enjoy your pub feed, like fair enough, if
- 32:58Speaker 1: you gotta do what you gotta do.
- 33:00Speaker 2: Us being parents, like I.
- 33:01Speaker 1: Can't speak now, but like hopefully we figure out some
- 33:04Speaker 1: type of strategy. But also all of these conversations the
- 33:07Speaker 1: complexities around being a parent.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Obviously, yeah, it's so hard.
- 33:11Speaker 1: You can't be it can't be perfect, no, because every
- 33:15Speaker 1: single scenario right there, our parents or their parents or
- 33:18Speaker 1: anyone's parents would have thought they're doing the right.
- 33:19Speaker 2: Thing and they love their kids as much as every
- 33:21Speaker 2: other parent. It's like, it's it's hard. It's hard, And
- 33:25Speaker 2: when I get there, I guarantee you I'm going to
- 33:26Speaker 2: do something and I'm going to be like, I know
- 33:27Speaker 2: when my dad did that? Yeah, why my mum did that?
- 33:30Speaker 2: This fucking sucks. But it's also good to think about
- 33:33Speaker 2: it too, because a lot of people don't, especially men.
- 33:35Speaker 1: A lot of men wouldn't think about the complexities about
- 33:37Speaker 1: being a father, a father figure.
- 33:46Speaker 2: Baddies, it is time for the I G Question, i
- 33:49Speaker 2: G Question baby. This week, the IG question was girls,
- 33:54Speaker 2: tell us what he says versus what you hear? First
- 33:57Speaker 2: one I got was, wouldn't you like to know whether
- 33:59Speaker 2: boy I forgot about that? Me may but no good answers, Yeah,
- 34:06Speaker 2: great answers. Yeah.
- 34:07Speaker 1: Actually, like a lot of them, I reckon seventy five
- 34:11Speaker 1: percent of the ones I saw were girls here that
- 34:14Speaker 1: someone says they're fat.
- 34:15Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, one hundred percent.
- 34:17Speaker 1: Somebody do with sweet treat yeah, and something to do
- 34:19Speaker 1: with feeling fat, yeah, which is hey.
- 34:21Speaker 2: Relatable, It is relatable. It is what it is. But okay, girls,
- 34:24Speaker 2: tell us what he says versus what you hear. Classic
- 34:30Speaker 2: I'm fine equals I hate you.
- 34:32Speaker 1: Oh I believe that one, dude, I'm fine.
- 34:36Speaker 2: Hey, that also goes both ways. Don't say that to me.
- 34:38Speaker 1: Ye, that also goes yeah your vocabulary, Yeah, all right him, No,
- 34:43Speaker 1: I don't feel like ice cream. What she hears, I
- 34:46Speaker 1: think we should break up?
- 34:47Speaker 5: Oh okay, I was about to say I've got one similar.
- 34:51Speaker 5: I no, no, because I've got one that says you
- 34:56Speaker 5: can get a sweet treat, but I don't want one.
- 34:58Speaker 2: What she hears, you don't love me, and you think
- 35:00Speaker 2: I'm a big back. A big back. What's a big back?
- 35:03Speaker 2: I've heard this big back thrown around like a big bum?
- 35:07Speaker 1: Is it?
- 35:08Speaker 2: Throw it back?
- 35:09Speaker 1: I've heard big back gets thrown around the internet for
- 35:12Speaker 1: a while now, and I don't know.
- 35:13Speaker 2: What it is. We might be getting old day. I
- 35:15Speaker 2: swear it's a big bum. That's a compliment then, but
- 35:18Speaker 2: maybe it's not.
- 35:18Speaker 1: If she said it interesting, please let us know big back?
- 35:24Speaker 1: All right? What he says, I need some space. What
- 35:28Speaker 1: she hears, I don't love you anymore?
- 35:34Speaker 2: Use your words? Why do you? Okay? What he says,
- 35:42Speaker 2: just a few beers. What she hears see you at
- 35:46Speaker 2: three am?
- 35:49Speaker 1: She shouldn't hear that, but she's picked up on the queues,
- 35:53Speaker 1: that's for sure.
- 35:53Speaker 2: All right.
- 35:54Speaker 1: What he says, I don't want to snack. What she hears,
- 35:58Speaker 1: pick me up a special snack without me asking?
- 36:01Speaker 2: Oh, I'd still lead it to me. Reading between the lines,
- 36:08Speaker 2: that was good.
- 36:08Speaker 1: Okay, girls, tell us what he says versus what you hear. Yeah,
- 36:14Speaker 1: you look good equals he doesn't care and has been
- 36:18Speaker 1: ready to go for ten minutes. Fuck'm so I do care.
- 36:26Speaker 1: I do, but I have been ready to go for
- 36:29Speaker 1: thirty minutes, probably longer. Okay, this one's the classic. What
- 36:37Speaker 1: he said, did you finish off that cake? Or is
- 36:39Speaker 1: there still some left. You ate all that cake, didn't you?
- 36:42Speaker 1: Little fatty? Oh fuck, you may as well stab me
- 36:48Speaker 1: in the fucking guts.
- 36:49Speaker 2: Bro.
- 36:51Speaker 1: No, this is good to learn though, because we know
- 36:53Speaker 1: what not to say, because me being a stupid boy
- 36:57Speaker 1: like and that's me wanting cake.
- 36:58Speaker 2: I was like, oh, he's the only cake left?
- 36:59Speaker 1: Or did you eat it all? And I'm just like
- 37:01Speaker 1: wanting cake personally, not having any attack on you. She
- 37:03Speaker 1: takes it that way exactly.
- 37:04Speaker 2: Here's here's where I want to test you because I
- 37:06Speaker 2: have a feeling I know what to do in that situation,
- 37:10Speaker 2: but I want to know what would you do to
- 37:12Speaker 2: make it so she doesn't think you're insulting her.
- 37:14Speaker 1: Oh I'm not insulting her, so she thinks I just
- 37:17Speaker 1: called her fat exactly?
- 37:18Speaker 2: Yeah, how do I How do I stop that? I
- 37:20Speaker 2: don't know? Okay, here's what I think. The answer is,
- 37:23Speaker 2: you don't ask anything. There's no way you can word
- 37:25Speaker 2: it without insinuating that she has eaten all the cake.
- 37:28Speaker 2: All right, So all you do is you go, you
- 37:31Speaker 2: take a little sneak peek for the cake.
- 37:32Speaker 1: If it's gone, you don't say a thing. If it's there,
- 37:35Speaker 1: you have a piece, offer to share it too.
- 37:37Speaker 2: Oh, okay, okay, I think that's the answer. Okay, so
- 37:41Speaker 2: you just have the social initiative. Interesting, okay, okay, here,
- 37:45Speaker 2: don't even ask a question. Yeah, because you can just
- 37:47Speaker 2: go look for the cake yourself with your own eyes.
- 37:49Speaker 2: Good point. Yeah, Okay. What he says, I won't Lady
- 37:56Speaker 2: in the Tramp style eat a hot dog with you. Okay.
- 37:59Speaker 2: What she hears, I hate you.
- 38:02Speaker 1: I read that and I was like, it's a Lady
- 38:03Speaker 1: in the Tramp. Oh if you do not watch the
- 38:05Speaker 1: Lady in the Tramp. No, No, that is classic movie, bro, girlfriend.
- 38:09Speaker 1: It's like an old Disney movie animated one, but it's
- 38:12Speaker 1: so lady. It's the two dogs Lady in the Tramp.
- 38:14Speaker 2: The lady is like the dog that has an owner,
- 38:16Speaker 2: and the tramp is the one that's like a hound
- 38:17Speaker 2: dog like out in the streets like Barry Be. And
- 38:20Speaker 2: then they fall in love, and he, like the tramp dog,
- 38:24Speaker 2: kind of lives his hectic life where he just like
- 38:27Speaker 2: goes around. He knows all the restaurant owners. They give
- 38:28Speaker 2: them food out the back of their restaurant and shit.
- 38:30Speaker 2: So he takes a lady on a date.
- 38:32Speaker 1: At the back of an Italian but is there a
- 38:33Speaker 1: scene with spaghetti And there's a scene with spaghetti where
- 38:35Speaker 1: they both spaghetti and then they're eating the same one
- 38:38Speaker 1: and they go up and they kiss.
- 38:39Speaker 2: Oh I'm how old? Is that old? I might have
- 38:42Speaker 2: seen it when I was a kid, early two thousands.
- 38:44Speaker 2: You haven't seen it? Yeah, old old old? Yeah, Okay, what.
- 38:48Speaker 1: He said, you can come if you want. What she hears,
- 38:52Speaker 1: I feel obligated to invite you.
- 38:55Speaker 2: Oh, i'd be hearing you want me to punch in
- 38:58Speaker 2: the face.
- 39:00Speaker 1: No fair, though, what I would hear is, yeah, you
- 39:03Speaker 1: feel obligated to invite me yeaheah, I would hear like,
- 39:05Speaker 1: you don't want me to come exactly. I've been getting
- 39:06Speaker 1: really good at more of the instead of saying that
- 39:09Speaker 1: because you can come if you want is like a
- 39:11Speaker 1: thing where it's like you could argue I'm being considerate,
- 39:13Speaker 1: where it's like you can come, like I want you there,
- 39:16Speaker 1: but it's if you want to come, you know.
- 39:18Speaker 2: But instead I've been going more of would you like
- 39:20Speaker 2: to come? It's more of a would you like to
- 39:22Speaker 2: that's on them, Yeah, would you like to come? And
- 39:24Speaker 2: then it's just like, yeah, I love it. That's some
- 39:26Speaker 2: really top shit. Yeah, I love it if you could
- 39:28Speaker 2: be there. Yeah, what he says, I don't want anything serious.
- 39:32Speaker 2: What she hears, you're the girl for me and I'll change.
- 39:36Speaker 2: And then she wrote delusional girls hand check emoji.
- 39:42Speaker 1: Sometimes they will hear what they want to hear. Yeah, okay,
- 39:46Speaker 1: what he said, I'm one hundred and eighty five centimeters tall.
- 39:49Speaker 1: What she hears, a solid one seventy three.
- 39:51Speaker 2: Then this one's good. Girls. Tell us what he says
- 40:02Speaker 2: versus what you hear. What he says, you're dramatic. What
- 40:07Speaker 2: she hears, I'm too immature to acknowledge that emotions exist
- 40:12Speaker 2: and people feel them. Oh shit, Yeah that was a bar.
- 40:17Speaker 1: That was one that Baddy was articulated. All right, this
- 40:22Speaker 1: one is my girlfriend too, a fucking team really so
- 40:27Speaker 1: so me.
- 40:28Speaker 2: I'm busy tonight her Oh so you hate me?
- 40:34Speaker 1: That is.
- 40:37Speaker 2: She says it all the time. Really.
- 40:38Speaker 1: If I'm like, oh, I can't do it, I'm recording,
- 40:40Speaker 1: She's like, oh so you hate me. Funny what he says,
- 40:47Speaker 1: you look nice today. What she hears you look shitty
- 40:51Speaker 1: every other day. That's funny. We can't wear we can't Yeah, okay,
- 41:00Speaker 1: now what he says, I've got to go. What she hears,
- 41:04Speaker 1: I can't stand being with you.
- 41:11Speaker 2: What he says, This doesn't look good on you.
- 41:14Speaker 1: What she hears or he cares or he cares delusional
- 41:23Speaker 1: one both yeah, negative?
- 41:26Speaker 2: Okay him, I love you.
- 41:29Speaker 1: What she hears, I will pay for everything because my
- 41:32Speaker 1: money is down money A good one, fucking I I'll
- 41:42Speaker 1: pay for everything. Okay, this is my last one, and
- 41:46Speaker 1: this one is a little slightly confusing for me.
- 41:48Speaker 2: But I'll see if you can get it and if
- 41:49Speaker 2: the girlipops can get it or the baddies. What he says, Sorry,
- 41:53Speaker 2: my phone died. What she hears, fourteen different sex positions
- 41:58Speaker 2: at my ex's house. Oh, I get it. Yeah he's
- 42:02Speaker 2: out cheating. Yeah. Oh what she hears.
- 42:05Speaker 1: It's just like blank, she is all the fucking has
- 42:09Speaker 1: like a that's so ravening.
- 42:13Speaker 2: They were good, they were cold. It was actually so funny. Okay,
- 42:24Speaker 2: time for dilemmas, guys. There was a lot of new
- 42:26Speaker 2: dilemmas in there. Thank you very much. If you want
- 42:28Speaker 2: to submit a dilemma, it is linked in the description
- 42:30Speaker 2: of this video, or it is in our Instagram bio
- 42:34Speaker 2: and they're all anonymous. Completely. I got a good one. Hi,
- 42:40Speaker 2: I'm a male twenty four. We love our mail Baddy,
- 42:44Speaker 2: we do, we do. We like to help him out
- 42:45Speaker 2: because Green Flags. I started listening to your podcast after
- 42:50Speaker 2: hearing YouTube on ships and gigs. Yeah, or they were
- 42:54Speaker 2: on us that we didn't go on them unless they
- 42:56Speaker 2: gave us a shout out an episode, which Yeah, it's
- 42:59Speaker 2: very refre rushing hearing a more stable male view on
- 43:03Speaker 2: relationships as opposed to the toxic viewpoint that is perpetuated
- 43:07Speaker 2: online and in some of my friendships. Oh and when
- 43:11Speaker 2: I read this first time, I was I was thinking,
- 43:12Speaker 2: Easy's saying that, like shits and gigs, James and Fuu
- 43:15Speaker 2: had a toxic and then I was like, oh, they're
- 43:17Speaker 2: not too bad. But then I was like, they actually kind.
- 43:18Speaker 6: Of well.
- 43:21Speaker 2: Not the show throw shading, but I've listened to it forever.
- 43:24Speaker 2: My dilemma is the following. I ended a nearly three
- 43:27Speaker 2: year relationship almost a year ago due to the way
- 43:30Speaker 2: I treated my now ex girlfriend and the events that
- 43:34Speaker 2: transpired whilst we were together. Physical infidelity from me and
- 43:40Speaker 2: emotional infidelity from her. As far as I know, what's
- 43:44Speaker 2: emotional infantility, so like emotional cheating and physical cheating, infidelity
- 43:49Speaker 2: is cheating Oh yeah, okay, I was gonna say something,
- 43:52Speaker 2: what do you think infertelity was kind of have kids? No? No,
- 43:55Speaker 2: what's that? Isn't that?
- 43:56Speaker 1: No?
- 43:56Speaker 2: Infidelity is cheating? Oh I've been wrong. He had a
- 44:02Speaker 2: the source next to him because he used the word
- 44:04Speaker 2: perpetuated and infidelity because there's easier one. I don't know, way,
- 44:09Speaker 2: what's in my head? Infidelity? What's the words in my head? Infertile?
- 44:13Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 44:13Speaker 2: Right, they're pretty similar to me. To be fair, I
- 44:16Speaker 2: was like, so, it's been some time I've had the
- 44:21Speaker 2: opportunity to be by myself, but I've come to realize
- 44:24Speaker 2: that I would love to be with her. Still, I
- 44:26Speaker 2: missed the way we were together, and I wish I
- 44:28Speaker 2: had never made that choice. My question to you guys
- 44:31Speaker 2: is do I make some sort of herculean effort to
- 44:36Speaker 2: win her back? Or do I cut my losses and
- 44:39Speaker 2: try to move on and find happiness elsewhere. Help My
- 44:42Speaker 2: friends say, if I miss her, I should try, but
- 44:45Speaker 2: I don't know if I want to disturb her life.
- 44:48Speaker 1: Oh okay, okay, so that is tough. Let's break that
- 44:51Speaker 1: down because there were some big words in there.
- 44:53Speaker 2: Basically me to.
- 44:54Speaker 1: Look up infidelity definitions to be sure. It's definitely cheating, but.
- 44:57Speaker 2: I swear, but fertile.
- 45:01Speaker 1: But then you couldn't have Yeah, I don't know physical
- 45:04Speaker 1: infidet like because you can't emotionally not have a kid.
- 45:06Speaker 2: I guess you could because you just said don't want
- 45:08Speaker 2: Where is it?
- 45:08Speaker 1: It needs to be a rare occasion where I don't
- 45:11Speaker 1: think I'm right, but I would love to be meaning
- 45:13Speaker 1: being unfaithful to a partner. Okay, the more you know University.
- 45:17Speaker 2: He sat there with the sours, I'm telling you that
- 45:19Speaker 2: was funny. So he's broke up with his girlfriend of
- 45:21Speaker 2: three years a year ago.
- 45:23Speaker 1: A year ago, so it's been a long period of
- 45:25Speaker 1: time and he's had a lot of time to reflect
- 45:27Speaker 1: on it and realize.
- 45:28Speaker 2: What he's done or what his wrongs were.
- 45:31Speaker 1: And he's now kind of regretting his decision, but he
- 45:34Speaker 1: kind of needed the time as well.
- 45:35Speaker 2: To realize what was wrong. Yeah, fuck it is tough.
- 45:39Speaker 1: I think it is a simple answer, and he sort
- 45:42Speaker 1: of said it there at the end. Yeah, cut your losses, Yeah,
- 45:45Speaker 1: cut your losses. It's kind of like three years. I'm
- 45:49Speaker 1: going to assume you're it was your first love, like
- 45:52Speaker 1: proper love too, which twenty to twenty three because he's
- 45:54Speaker 1: twenty four, Yeah, which is always the hardest to get
- 45:57Speaker 1: over and it always eats up in the back your
- 46:00Speaker 1: mind slightly. And that's relatable, and that's fair because it's
- 46:03Speaker 1: all you ever knew and all you ever loved. Yeah,
- 46:07Speaker 1: And it's good that you've taken the year to reflect
- 46:10Speaker 1: on your wrongdoings and potentially wanted to better yourself in
- 46:14Speaker 1: the relationship. But my personal opinion would be cut tires
- 46:20Speaker 1: completely and.
- 46:23Speaker 2: Go elsewhere. Yeah, I would agree.
- 46:25Speaker 1: The only reason I agree with that as well is
- 46:27Speaker 1: because so I remember the one time that I so
- 46:29Speaker 1: I had a relationship where I wasn't heartbroken because it
- 46:31Speaker 1: ended for a good reason. And then the one where
- 46:34Speaker 1: I was heartbroken, I was with for three years, and
- 46:36Speaker 1: then I remember it fucking took forever to.
- 46:43Speaker 2: Fucking get over it. Yeah.
- 46:45Speaker 1: And I remember seeing this thing where someone goes a
- 46:49Speaker 1: pretty kind of you know, decent rule of thumb is,
- 46:52Speaker 1: however long you're with someone, it's probably going to take
- 46:55Speaker 1: about half that amount of time to get over them,
- 46:57Speaker 1: you know fully.
- 46:58Speaker 2: And I was thinking about it and I was like,
- 47:00Speaker 2: I reckon, it took me a year and a half.
- 47:01Speaker 2: A Yeah, I honestly reckon. It took me a year
- 47:04Speaker 2: and a half. A full year later, I was good,
- 47:06Speaker 2: Like I was okay, but I definitely I reckon. I
- 47:10Speaker 2: would have had thoughts where I was like, I still
- 47:11Speaker 2: want to be with her.
- 47:12Speaker 1: Yeah, very true and glass half full. You're in a
- 47:16Speaker 1: lucky position. I've said it before. It's easier to get
- 47:19Speaker 1: over that, I know, than the what if. But right
- 47:22Speaker 1: now you can make the decision that this is never
- 47:24Speaker 1: happening again, because it's already been a year. Yeah, and
- 47:27Speaker 1: she's not like messaging you and saying let's try again. Yeah,
- 47:30Speaker 1: you have complete control of the situation right now and
- 47:33Speaker 1: of your life. And to be fair, another six months,
- 47:36Speaker 1: going off Jake's timeline there, it should be all right.
- 47:39Speaker 1: And also another glass half full thing. Take what you
- 47:42Speaker 1: learned from that relationship into the next one. Yeah, as
- 47:44Speaker 1: cliche as it is, there's plenty of fish in the sea.
- 47:47Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a good point. Like the only way, Yeah,
- 47:49Speaker 2: I would say give it six more months and see
- 47:51Speaker 2: how you feel, because like just so, I would say,
- 47:54Speaker 2: make a decision now, whatever you do, make a decision
- 47:57Speaker 2: and don't and just like go through that door. Like so,
- 48:01Speaker 2: if you want to go fight for her by all means, Like,
- 48:04Speaker 2: I'm not going to tell you to not do it.
- 48:05Speaker 2: There's no real right or wrong answer. What I would say,
- 48:09Speaker 2: what I would do is go through the door of
- 48:12Speaker 2: no contact, cut your losses, and then in six months
- 48:17Speaker 2: to a year, if you still feeling the exact same,
- 48:19Speaker 2: then maybe there is something that's drawing you back to
- 48:20Speaker 2: it and you should try. But here's the thing, Like,
- 48:23Speaker 2: it's a risk. You could try and she'll shut you.
- 48:24Speaker 1: Down and then it hurts, but at least then you
- 48:26Speaker 1: know it's never going to happen, so you can have
- 48:28Speaker 1: another year and a half to get over it. Yeah,
- 48:29Speaker 1: it's also better to come from him though that he
- 48:31Speaker 1: knows himself exactly.
- 48:32Speaker 2: Yeah, he just makes the choice.
- 48:34Speaker 1: I also want to say too, he's twenty four, right,
- 48:37Speaker 1: definitely in the last like six months especially, Yeah, prior
- 48:41Speaker 1: to that, I think a lot of men have tunnel
- 48:45Speaker 1: vision into their lives and how much they see not
- 48:50Speaker 1: only like work wise, but also relationship wise and where
- 48:53Speaker 1: they grew up. There aren't that many people or options
- 48:57Speaker 1: and not saying that there's like plenty of girls out
- 49:00Speaker 1: there who want him, But the older you get, you
- 49:01Speaker 1: kind of start to realize that you are more in
- 49:03Speaker 1: control of your life and you can do whatever you want,
- 49:05Speaker 1: and there's millions of people who could potentially be your partner. Yeah,
- 49:09Speaker 1: but when you're so young and immature, you kind of
- 49:11Speaker 1: only see the ten girls you know.
- 49:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 49:14Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just relatable too, and like the more people
- 49:17Speaker 1: you know and you have complete control of your life
- 49:19Speaker 1: to do whatever.
- 49:20Speaker 2: You want and go wherever you want to exactly, you
- 49:22Speaker 2: might end up with someone that still was one of
- 49:24Speaker 2: the ten people you know, but isn't your ex girlfriend
- 49:25Speaker 2: you never know, yeah, exactly, And it kind of just
- 49:28Speaker 2: happens with age that the tunnel vision starts to open
- 49:30Speaker 2: and you're like, Wow, the world is fucking huge. I
- 49:32Speaker 2: can do whatever I want. I think you got this, mate, Yeah, same,
- 49:35Speaker 2: I think you're I think you'll be all right already.
- 49:37Speaker 2: Let us know how you go. I'm actually interested.
- 49:39Speaker 1: Yeah, give us an update for sure. My dilemma bit
- 49:43Speaker 1: of a fun short one. Okay, thirty year old female
- 49:46Speaker 1: baddie thinking of buying a sex toy to introduce to
- 49:49Speaker 1: the bedroom, but don't know how to start with my husband?
- 49:52Speaker 2: Help?
- 49:53Speaker 1: Okay, this man that's thirty bit older than us.
- 49:59Speaker 2: Hey, apparently thirty is the age that women are their horniests, oh,
- 50:05Speaker 2: early thirties, because that's when their peak like ready their bodies,
- 50:08Speaker 2: like ready to have baby. I think, yeah, interesting. Yeah,
- 50:12Speaker 2: so we said the other day on Patreon, didn't we
- 50:14Speaker 2: that we're very vanilla in the bedroom? Yeah, I think
- 50:17Speaker 2: we said it. Well, we recorded Patreon before this. It's
- 50:19Speaker 2: actually going to come out on Thursday. Yeah, that we
- 50:21Speaker 2: said it. We recorded Patreon yesterday, So on Thursday you
- 50:25Speaker 2: are if you're on Patreon, your heroes talking about vanilla.
- 50:29Speaker 1: But also, I'm not scared of sex toys neither. That
- 50:32Speaker 1: vibrator goes a long way.
- 50:33Speaker 2: It's it's a tool.
- 50:34Speaker 1: It's not saying I'm bad at what I'm doing. It's
- 50:36Speaker 1: a tool to help.
- 50:37Speaker 2: One's smaller than his doodle.
- 50:39Speaker 1: I'm telling you to start off with one of the
- 50:40Speaker 1: smalleranness doodle if you think he's like an insecure guy, true,
- 50:43Speaker 1: and just start off with one that's smaller and it's
- 50:45Speaker 1: really small.
- 50:46Speaker 2: If his is really small, Yeah, that's pretty small fucking vibrator.
- 50:51Speaker 2: And I don't I don't know from experienced, the big
- 50:53Speaker 2: ones are easy to grab button. It's a good point.
- 50:55Speaker 2: You don't lose them. Yeah, so okay, thing like, what's
- 51:05Speaker 2: the reason you want to bring me in the bedroom?
- 51:06Speaker 1: Is he satisfying you or not? Well, I think it
- 51:08Speaker 1: just comes with age. They've been having sex with the
- 51:10Speaker 1: same people for ten years. You just want to splush
- 51:12Speaker 1: it up exactly. Yeah, pleasuring yeah, exactly, pleasurable for him
- 51:16Speaker 1: too to be able to be the one doing it,
- 51:18Speaker 1: and then she's kind of like enjoying it.
- 51:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 51:21Speaker 1: That's what I like as a man, is just like
- 51:23Speaker 1: if she says something and then I do it for
- 51:25Speaker 1: the first time or to do something different, and you
- 51:27Speaker 1: can see she's enjoying it, I'm like, oh, yeah, here
- 51:29Speaker 1: you go.
- 51:29Speaker 2: Tactic hid him with the I want to add another
- 51:32Speaker 2: person to the bedroom, right, He's going to say no, no, no,
- 51:34Speaker 2: no no, and she goes, okay, I'll start small, like
- 51:36Speaker 2: how about a toy, and it'll be like, you know what, compromise. Yeah, Honestly,
- 51:42Speaker 2: I think you can't really go wrong. You could just
- 51:45Speaker 2: say if we had toys in the bedroom, what would
- 51:46Speaker 2: you want to see? What he says?
- 51:48Speaker 1: But some dude are stubborn. We know stubborn dudes. We're
- 51:51Speaker 1: very open to trying new things.
- 51:53Speaker 2: But I feel like all dudes are kind of like,
- 51:55Speaker 2: want a toy in the bedroom?
- 51:56Speaker 1: Sure, I don't know, because we're okay with making it
- 51:59Speaker 1: full of it self, for not knowing what to do
- 52:01Speaker 1: and like laughing about it and figuring it out. But
- 52:03Speaker 1: a lot of dudes are stubborn and not saying this
- 52:05Speaker 1: bad his husband is.
- 52:06Speaker 2: But a lot of dudes are like, I'm the king
- 52:08Speaker 2: of the bedroom. I make you finish. I don't need
- 52:11Speaker 2: no toy.
- 52:12Speaker 1: Fair, But how could you bring it up if you
- 52:14Speaker 1: are in like a relationship like that and you just
- 52:16Speaker 1: want to say, I don't know. They just have that
- 52:18Speaker 1: toxic masculine any side in the bedroom. Because it's funny
- 52:20Speaker 1: though too, because the dynamic of a person. I've been
- 52:23Speaker 1: heaps of people outside the bedroom completely normal, and then
- 52:26Speaker 1: inside the bedroom they've got like this different persona and
- 52:29Speaker 1: they're like freaky.
- 52:30Speaker 2: Or like they think they're beasts or whatever. I think
- 52:32Speaker 2: if he's the type to be, if you're scared to
- 52:34Speaker 2: ask him because of his reaction, sorry, but red flag true?
- 52:41Speaker 2: It is the red flag. Yeah.
- 52:42Speaker 1: I think I think you can't go wrong at all
- 52:46Speaker 1: if you just say, how'd you feel if I brought sex.
- 52:49Speaker 2: Toys into the bedroom, which one would you like? Yeah,
- 52:51Speaker 2: and maybe you have a couple of you've picked out
- 52:53Speaker 2: a couple. We've done a deal of love.
- 52:54Speaker 1: Honey, they've got cute ones that look like love hearts,
- 52:57Speaker 1: roses bro look like paper weights. Or you can get
- 52:59Speaker 1: some big one to have a couple on your phone
- 53:01Speaker 1: and just be like like this one. What do you
- 53:02Speaker 1: think you'd be like? Sure, order it bang here. Next week,
- 53:05Speaker 1: let's go to town.
- 53:06Speaker 2: And I start small. You also want to like it too,
- 53:08Speaker 2: don't do something intense. Yeah, just try something smaller if
- 53:11Speaker 2: you like it, and then build up and you guys
- 53:12Speaker 2: will just have the freaky sex out. Well, yeah, I
- 53:14Speaker 2: think it's fun. We'll get there one day.
- 53:16Speaker 1: Yeah, sometimes dudes do need baby steps. Give me five
- 53:21Speaker 1: years and we'll be there talking about we're talking about
- 53:24Speaker 1: we're talking about how our girlfriends asked us.
- 53:26Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe our wives.
- 53:27Speaker 1: Yeah, crazy word my wife. I f ast me the
- 53:33Speaker 1: other day if we want to bring toys in the
- 53:34Speaker 1: bedroom ship and I said, fuck yeah, I said, about time.
- 53:41Speaker 2: I've been waiting for this. This tool needs a rest.
- 53:45Speaker 1: What are we going to call it?
- 53:47Speaker 2: Where we're going to hide it from the kids?
- 53:56Speaker 1: Okay, guys, As I said earlier, we have another cheeky,
- 53:59Speaker 1: little small announcement for Patreon, one thing to make a
- 54:02Speaker 1: little bit better. If you're listening to this today the
- 54:04Speaker 1: day came out, it's going to be coming out tomorrow.
- 54:07Speaker 1: But if you're listening to this after that, on the
- 54:09Speaker 1: twenty sixth of August Tuesday, we will be dropping our

- 54:18Speaker 1: it was a fucking tear jerker. If I could drop
- 54:21Speaker 1: this mic and it wasn't on a stand, I would We.

- 54:27Speaker 2: tear jerker. We I forgot how fun that was.

- 54:39Speaker 2: Emotions we were and then we were sobbing fun on Yeah,
- 54:43Speaker 2: then we were sobbing.

- 55:06Speaker 1: to watch your opinion of Jeremiah changed to season three. Ooh,
- 55:11Speaker 1: I hope you comment on the song choices for the
- 55:13Speaker 1: climatic parts of each episode.
- 55:15Speaker 2: Two okay, sligh interesting. I got YouTube Vittoria Susa. I'm
- 55:23Speaker 2: team quote Belly, get your shit together. Facts, Conrad deserves
- 55:27Speaker 2: better and Jerre really needs to grow more. Oh shit.
- 55:32Speaker 1: To be fair, we'll saying that in the finale, Belly
- 55:35Speaker 1: was gone between both brothers.
- 55:36Speaker 2: I'm gonna go again a bit dangerous.
- 55:37Speaker 1: So from Rock's anna, this could be an even better
- 55:42Speaker 1: thing to do to Beth about the Dickhead updates.
- 55:44Speaker 2: I'll share the notes she goes. How about you put
- 55:47Speaker 2: a note on her car saying I'm sorry or I'm
- 55:50Speaker 2: sorry again, So then she'll just start looking for some
- 55:53Speaker 2: non existing damage.
- 55:54Speaker 1: Oh, I've seen that before. That's a good one. It's
- 55:58Speaker 1: less work for you.
- 55:59Speaker 2: So I could It could be as simple as I'm
- 56:01Speaker 2: sorry and I put on I even put like fucking
- 56:05Speaker 2: your phone number or like someone's phone number that she knows,
- 56:08Speaker 2: and just like fuck with her to her own phone
- 56:10Speaker 2: number I don't know. How about come back to us
- 56:12Speaker 2: next week? Okay? And my final one s B j
- 56:16Speaker 2: C T Okay. The boyfriends who listen to this podcast
- 56:19Speaker 2: ey as emoji. Yeah, they're all like, fuck, I'm getting
- 56:22Speaker 2: tested maybe Okay, Jacqueline, Oh, I think you replied to
- 56:29Speaker 2: this quote. I'm going to stop saying unbeknowns because it
- 56:32Speaker 2: sounds stupid because you said it. Okay, what have I got?
- 56:38Speaker 2: One last one from Emma Hope. I love that you
- 56:40Speaker 2: guys are watching the summer I turn pretty. I've always
- 56:42Speaker 2: been hardcore Team Jeremiah, but I honestly think it's just
- 56:45Speaker 2: because I personally don't like Conrad. Definitely nothing against those
- 56:47Speaker 2: who do, though. Okay, funny that's up to season three. No,
- 56:51Speaker 2: that's caught up on season three. Really know what she's saying?
- 56:54Speaker 2: What She's still Team Jeremiah. Really, all I've been hearing
- 56:58Speaker 2: is that by then people are usually team Comrade. Let's
- 57:00Speaker 2: go with the we and see about perfon personal preference
- 57:02Speaker 2: the whole way through.
- 57:03Speaker 1: I say interesting, interesting, And now to completely finish the episode,
- 57:08Speaker 1: the cherry on top, we will now call one of
- 57:10Speaker 1: you lovely baddies if you want to get called and
- 57:12Speaker 1: sign off an episode.

- 57:52Speaker 2: You could say anything anything you want.
- 57:55Speaker 4: Oh gosh, I have a perfect thing to say to
- 57:58Speaker 4: that to the women watching, which is most of them,
- 58:03Speaker 4: stay away from.
- 58:04Speaker 2: Most men, advice from most.
- 58:09Speaker 1: Men except one.
- 58:13Speaker 6: Jake, thank you so much.
- 58:23Speaker 2: Thanks listening. Guys, stay bad.
