- 0:00[SPEAKER_01]: To be honest, if you're waiting for someone else to say you're worthy, that's the problem.
- 0:04[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I think everybody's waiting for outside indicators that they are worthy.
- 0:09[SPEAKER_01]: You actually are born worthy.
- 0:10[SPEAKER_01]: The fact that you're here is why you're worthy.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_01]: Like every single person on this planet was born to make an impact on this planet, so you were already worthy.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome to the Beat till you see it podcast, where we talk about taking messy action, knowing that perfect is boring.

- 0:38[SPEAKER_01]: My friends, action brings clarity.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_01]: and it's the antidote to fear.

- 1:18[SPEAKER_01]: Ooh, I need to go.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_01]: It's like the cliff notes.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_01]: What's that book?
- 1:21[SPEAKER_01]: What's that app that like read the books 15 minutes and then you could go read them if you want it.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, they don't sponsor the show, but it's like that.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I can't remember what that's called.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_01]: But people get what I'm saying.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_01]: It's okay.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_01]: We don't need to sponsor it.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_01]: So today, if you were with us two weeks ago, you've, like, now you probably know I am bringing this blind.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_01]: I have no idea.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, I just thought Brad had us do F-A-F-L in sign language and he just did it so if you're watching on YouTube and you know sign language Let's find it.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_01]: So I read these blinds.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_01]: So here we go.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_01]: Today is May 14th, 2026, and it's bond with your dog day.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I actually think this is Bion's anniversary.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_01]: They said he was three months old.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_01]: And so we went back three months.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_01]: And that's February that 14th and we're like great year of Valentine's day baby like I think I'm happy right close happy 10 years with those by now.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so on the stay pet parents and their beloved dogs spend some extra quality time together.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_01]: Every dog owner can vouch for how affectionate and loyal their dogs are, and almost every case, they are right.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_01]: However, on bond with your dog dates, time to show your beloved friend how much you love and care for them.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_01]: The day is celebrate with the host of activities and find new ways to connect with your dogs, happy mom with your dog day, to you and your dogs.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_01]: And if you don't have one, go to a shelter and read to one.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_01]: spend some time with one.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_01]: Laura, if you're in Vegas, it's too late to get the dog walking privileges at SPCA until the fall.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_01]: But like, go do it.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_01]: I am obsessed with walking dogs at the SPCA.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_01]: It is so hard for me.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_01]: It's so hard for me to leave them.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_01]: I have a really hard time.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_01]: I literally can do three and I have to go because that I start to get really, I might go, but I have to walk all of them if I do any more.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_01]: But it really, it, um, it will bring so much joy to your life.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_01]: They have so much additional love, some of them are,
- 3:08[SPEAKER_01]: those scared and they just like just take some warming up to and some of them are like get me out of here.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_01]: I don't you are amazing.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_01]: I'm with you.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_00]: Well, who do we want to feature today?
- 3:16[SPEAKER_00]: Because I think we should do this.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_00]: How about Miss Coco?
- 3:20[SPEAKER_01]: Well, hopefully Miss Coco is not at the SPCA in May 17th because she is there right now.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_01]: So we can't feature any of them or Sadie love Sadie.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to feature her anyway.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you know, we'll feature them and hope they better be adopted.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_01]: Guys, don't let me
- 3:38[SPEAKER_01]: you're up the day before.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_01]: And I told Brad, when we come back, if those two girls are still at the shelter, we have to figure out if we can foster them together.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what we're going to do.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_01]: We have a tree coming here.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_01]: We have elevate coming here.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_01]: But like we got to get those girls added out of there.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm going to read her profile.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_00]: So Ms. Coco is a terrier.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_00]: She's an American staff should carry her bulldog.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_00]: She's an American bully.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_00]: And she is like, shorty, a little bit squat and she's so cute.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_01]: She's she's more squat than August was.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, she's almost five years old.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_00]: She's about 65 pounds and she is female.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_00]: She hi, I'm Miss Coco.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_00]: I'm known for my friendly and sweet nature.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_00]: I love spending time with people and I'm always ready for a cuddle or play time.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_00]: I do need some special care for my skin analogies, but I promise I'm worth it.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_00]: I'm looking for a forever home where I can share all my love and joy.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_00]: I have past experience with other dogs and older kids.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_00]: A doctor me means gaining a loyal friend who will always be there.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_00]: The right in your day, let's make wonderful memories together.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_01]: I mean this girl.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_00]: And you've walked her.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_01]: I've walked her twice.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_01]: Walk is a strong word.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_01]: We went outside.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_01]: We smelled the roses.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_01]: and we sat down and she just got in my lap at all, all those pounds of her and just wanted me to have better.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_01]: Like she just wants to land your couch.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_01]: So if you're someone who like needs a little bit routine in your life, but doesn't really want to commit to like long dog walks like I do, she doesn't want them.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_01]: She just wants to be in your couch with you.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_01]: Just wants to be held.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_01]: And by the way, her skin stuff.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_01]: I walked her.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_01]: She's got, like, dried, like, the Amriff.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_01]: Like, it was not a big deal.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_00]: So, like, and I bet, like, with the right, you know, food types.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_01]: They have her on a special food thing.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_01]: So, I didn't even notice at the second week later.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_01]: So, like, I think she's great.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_01]: I also, like, don't be afraid of those older dog.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_01]: And even if she's not very far yet, look it, but between four and six, like a lot of times like she so she's what's called a potty dog means she will not pee in her kennel will not she will hold it from the time they walk her at the last night for the next one that is like 12 hours like.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_01]: So maybe it's a little less than that, but still like close to six and open to six.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I get.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so definitely take a look at her.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_01]: But I just mean like from dogs for to find there's like something special about them.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_01]: They are out of the puppy stage.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_01]: They're still very trainable.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_01]: They still have a lot of life in them.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_01]: So now Sadie,
- 5:49[SPEAKER_01]: Can we read Sadie?
- 5:50[SPEAKER_00]: The only one at a time, we're doing one at a time.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, are we adding this to every show?
- 5:54[SPEAKER_00]: We might, maybe we will.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_00]: You tell us if you want us to feature a dog.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_01]: But so here's the thing, I wonder, like, but if they're not there, we'll people go and get a different one.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_00]: Well, here's the reality.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_00]: We are obviously in Nevada, we're in Las Vegas specifically, and we're specifically talking about dogs that are at the Nevada SPCA.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_00]: So if that is not applicable to you, which I imagine that's a majority of you, then just look up an SPCA near you or how they don't take.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_01]: government like the the local ones don't take any government funding.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_01]: They're always locally funded.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_01]: They're no kill and they're pristine.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_01]: How they take care of these dogs.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_01]: Our RSPCA has chinchillas.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we've been with chinchillas.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_00]: There's funny.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_00]: There's like all things.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_01]: But you can't if you can't if you tell me I can't have a pet.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_01]: Then guess what you get to be a volunteer where you go and you can literally just sit with you can pick up a pet and just hold it they have rooms where you can just like play with these animals and guess what you can just do it on Fridays you could do it on to say so you can get all the pet love you need and like not.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_00]: And Leslie's been walking the dogs in the morning once a week.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_00]: I know what's up.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_01]: I would love to go more, but to be honest, it is, I mean, I work from home.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_01]: So it is never on the way to anything, but I, it means the world to me.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_01]: And we, if you're an OPC member or you purchase anything at OPC, a percentage of all of our profits goes to our local SPCA.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_01]: And I used to, we used to try to do international charities.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to be honest, the money doesn't actually do anything.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_01]: So we went local and it's really fun to see how the money.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_01]: makes it go.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_01]: So here's another thing.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_01]: If you have a dog, I can't imagine you don't already bond with your dog.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_01]: But if you need an excuse to call out sick today, today, here it is.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, it's I got a bomb with my dog day.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_00]: Well, here's what's coming up for us.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_00]: We are quickly filling Leslie's Elevate Mentorship Program for 2027.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_00]: At this point, there might only be a few spots left.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_00]: So if you're interested in what that even is, it's a nine-month
- 7:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we actually just like we came home did a retreat with our elevate grads did the cattle like we can for elevate, so it's been an elevate season and it's so fun and we're currently in the week of spring training.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's happening literally right now because the limited replays last for a whole week, so like there's still time so go to OPC that means such events.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_01]: because it's great, it's fun, it's fun to be in community, it's fun to learn one theme when it comes to Pilates, it's fun to see what connections you can get.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_01]: You'll always have an aha moment with OPC, so you should do it.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and we're about to announce the summer tour.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_00]: So get yourself on the wait list, so you can get those tickets.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_00]: Go to OPC.me slash tour.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_00]: OPC.me slash tour.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_00]: And we'll be going in August this year, we're gonna be going straight across the middle of the country and then loop and back through North Texas and then down into a little bit down at Arizona,
- 8:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, anyway, go go check those out.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_00]: Come join us if the tickets aren't announced just yet.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_00]: They're going to be announced any day now.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_01]: So I just say you know the spots were going in August.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_01]: We're not going in December.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_01]: That's how it works.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we were intentionally trying to find new cities all in the way.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_00]: So we'll be in like places like Knoxville.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_00]: We never been there before.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm excited.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, we had a question this week and anonymous is asking I know that you do strength training Pilates and sometimes yoga.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_00]: I also do these three modalities and I also run, but it becomes a lot.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_00]: I'm trying to find the balance between all of those movement modalities throughout the week.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_00]: I'm curious if you have found a schedule that works personally for you.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_01]: So here's the actual schedule.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_01]: So Sunday mornings I wait, train.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_01]: and do a little Pilates Mondays.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_01]: I do some personal applies in the morning, but we work out at night.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_01]: We do wait during a night.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_01]: Two days is Pilates, some yoga, and some zone two, but they're all separate.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_01]: I do morning, Pilates, and yoga, and then zone two in the afternoon.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_01]: Wednesdays, it's just wait for you in at night.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_01]: Thursdays is like Tuesdays.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_01]: except for it's weight training set of running.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_01]: And Fridays is weight training in the little Pilates, like, what my body still needs after a whole week.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_01]: Saturday, I do nothing.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_01]: I have a whole day of rest.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_01]: I like Saturday.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes I do a little moose at the time, I do a little son of like it time.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_01]: It sounds like a lot.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_01]: I don't have children.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_01]: So.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_00]: But effectively, you know, you're doing some intentional movement six days a week.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_01]: But also, and you should, and the other thing is, is like the way I do Pilates and Yoga is not these high intensity cortisol chaotic things.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_00]: We're not going to a hot yoga room and sweating yourself to death and all the things.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes my woop band doesn't even think I did anything when it doesn't come to yoga, unless I did some like handstand hiccups.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_01]: And my Pilates, it catches it for sure.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_01]: But like, when I do Pilates, Tuesdays and Thursdays, it's a full hour.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_01]: The rest of the time when I do Pilates,
- 10:51[SPEAKER_01]: start with I just tell myself 15 minutes and if I have time to if I get more curiosity I'll do 30 but it's rarely more than 30 so it's so I'm not doing like three hours of workouts every day.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_01]: We're talking between 90 minutes and two hours between all of the things I just said each day and they're spaced out so that I can fuel myself so I can have some energy so that I can sleep at night because I'm 43 and sleep is hard for me so all that but it's
- 11:18[SPEAKER_01]: I will also say another caveat to all this is the only thing that I am creating for myself workout wise is the Pilates like that's the only and I use an order because I'm classical teacher so like my mat and reformer they have an order and then the rest of the stuff is like oh what is my body knee what connected do I need I am not coming up with my weight training schedule I am not coming with my yoga thing I I do invest in those things I have a trainer who I can talk to and like thank God for her because her states I don't want to do it because I paid for it
- 11:47[SPEAKER_01]: So I will just say it is a lot.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think everyone should do whatever you say.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_00]: But let's go back to the actual question.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you know, have you found a schedule that works for you personally?
- 11:56[SPEAKER_01]: Well, yeah, I just, yeah, I have, but I was just saying like I think one of the things you have to do is first of all, at least one or two cannot be designed by you.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_01]: Like somebody else with that expertise should be doing it.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I also don't go to a yoga studio for my yoga.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_01]: I don't go to a poli studio for my poli.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's like that.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_01]: I think also affects the ability for it to be easy as an ADHD person.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I have to drive there, park my car and go do it.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes that's too much.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_01]: So for me, I do have luxury of doing my yoga is in real time.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_01]: It's just on zoom.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_01]: So I love that.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_01]: I put, I make sure it's in gallery view.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_01]: So I can see everyone.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like I'm part of the thing, but I don't have to go anywhere.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_01]: Glass and my next thing is I fold my mat up and I move on on the next thing.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_01]: So I think what I would suggest for this person anyone else It's like what are the things you could do either at home or at your job?
- 12:48[SPEAKER_01]: How can you make it so you're not losing time going to things all the time?
- 12:53[SPEAKER_01]: That's where OPC really helps out like maybe you go to a studio
- 12:56[SPEAKER_01]: once a week for equipment but you match two or three times at home like how can you make it so or you are at the gym doing your weight training then you do your mat at the end to right because that's a 30 minute or less work out.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_01]: It's really great at the end after weight training it will like open everything up and if you hate is laying there stretching it's not that applies is stretching but you get by me like it's a really good counter balance to it so
- 13:17[SPEAKER_01]: My suggestion to you is like, one, it doesn't have the all or nothing to get experts to design things for you that you're not an expert in.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_01]: And then three, how can you shave the travel time off on some of these things?
- 13:29[SPEAKER_01]: Because I don't think that everything has to be an hour all the time, but that's how businesses pay people and they pay them by the hour.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_01]: So that's why your sessions are 50 minutes.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_01]: And that doesn't mean it's necessarily but you need all of those minutes.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_00]: That's true.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_00]: Great.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_00]: Great question.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_00]: Thanks.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_00]: If you have a question, feel free to reach out on any way you want, but we prefer be it pot.com slash questions, but you can leave us both a win or a question, you can also text us 300905 by 534.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_00]: Stick around.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_00]: We'll be right back.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to start chatting about Dr. Corey win.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_00]: All right, Dr.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_00]: Win is a doctor of physical therapy and of with 15 years of experience specializing in wheelchair seating and mobility.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_00]: Drawing from her uncle's experience with spinal cord injury, she founded the Carl Edward Foundation, which is a nonprofit serving people with spinal cord injuries and progressive neurological diseases.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_00]: In addition to our clinical and non-profit roles, she runs a women's coaching and consulting practice, supporting women as they build their businesses and creating lasting legacies as entrepreneurs.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_00]: Her coaching focuses on helping high-achieve women move beyond questioning their value so they can stop settling for less than what they actually want.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_01]: So, I mean, Cory is a great lesson, you guys, because she, she's had non-linear like job changes that have put her where she is right now, and I think what we all need to hear is that that's kind of how life goes.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_01]: But we're talking about her like switching from the, this full-time job that she went to school for for so long and so much money to switching to health coaching, which is both that letter into actually the coaching that she does today, and she was talking about
- 15:08[SPEAKER_01]: If the clients did not feel worthy of taking care of themselves, it didn't matter what plan she gave them.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_01]: Like these are already highs achieving amazing women who know how to do follow-up plan.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_01]: They know how to check boxes.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_01]: They know how to do to follow directions.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_01]: And they couldn't because they just didn't feel worthy of it.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that's really an eye-opening thing for us to think about because if you do have like the trainers or you do have the coaches
- 15:37[SPEAKER_01]: God, but you're not doing the thing, it may be worth just reviewing if you feel like you're worthy of the thing that comes from that.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_01]: It might not be feeling that way yet.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_01]: So I thought that was really cool that we talked about because we, because I do think a lot of high achieving women often wonder like she said, who am I to do that?
- 15:54[SPEAKER_01]: And it stops their progress.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_01]: And so we true success in whatever you want to do, work wires, a mindset of shift, where women body, the thoughts and desires and beliefs of who you want to
- 16:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you were also talking about how did she effectively leave her job.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_00]: And then like being a doctor and being focused on like her specialty with working with people and wheelchairs, how does she then coach people.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_00]: And that's where she's talking about this, you know, mindset of the the.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_00]: Second guessing yourself, right?
- 16:29[SPEAKER_00]: So she was talking about that worthiness.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_00]: And how do you know that you're like, how do we get to the point where we feel worthy?
- 16:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I'm asking you.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_00]: How do we get to the point where we feel worthy?
- 16:44[SPEAKER_01]: To be honest, if you're waiting for someone else to say you're worthy, that's the problem.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_01]: Like I think everybody's waiting for outside indicators that they are worthy you actually are born worthy the fact that you're here is why you're worthy like every single person on this planet was born to make an impact on this point, so you're already worthy.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_01]: And fact, the problem is a bunch of fucking assholes out in the world who have shown, with the example that they are on worthy are the ones going out there with so much confidence in a mic.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_00]: that we go, oh my god, well, I'm not them, so I'm, no, you're going with or they're judging from the sidelines and making people feel, you know, I think you're right.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_00]: And also too, it's funny because you too are mentioning it, you know, the more we're in the room like coaching with other people and seeing, you know, big businesses and realizing, oh, they're struggling with similar things that we're struggling with just on a different scale or maybe they're in a different point
- 17:41[SPEAKER_00]: We might have this presentation that we have it all together, but we're all still figuring shit out too.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_01]: I'll honest, the who might do that, a definitely something I resonate with.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_01]: And then the few times, there's this many times we've been in rooms with other businesses who like flaunt these amazing numbers.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_01]: Like, oh, our, our own launch was this many figures.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_01]: And then you start to realize that the profit after what they spent to get that money is like show ridiculous.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_01]: I spent only 500 and I like made 30 and I'm but you're like I made 600,000, but you spent 90, like I made more money than you why I'm so I remember always thinking like having a positive in those rooms and then
- 18:22[SPEAKER_01]: After a few of those times here, and I was like, I feel kind of a better business person than these people.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_01]: These people just throw money at problems to feel like to be able to have numbers.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_01]: They can say at the end to say that they're worthy.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm worthy because I'm actually making the impact on a very small budget.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_01]: And so I think it, but that came from me.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_01]: I had to observe and then like integrate and like,
- 18:44[SPEAKER_01]: And almost get a little angry and do that I think that too many people are waiting for someone to come and Dean them ready to be successful and now you've you've now made it you've been nighted worthy no I think if more especially women listens podcast and the few good men if more people actually thought they're worthy we've not been a muck we're in because too many people who are not worthy are just walking around with confidence.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I really love those she's talking about time being an excuse, and this is this was tough.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_00]: This one hit home for me, because we have this intention that we like to, you know, that we are going to do something, and then we don't make time for it.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_00]: And the two of you were talking about the if you want to shopping, speedy or favorite store.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_00]: you would make time for it.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_00]: You would totally figure it out and make time for it.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_00]: So when we put it in that kind of context, do we are we actually making time for the things that we say that we want or we make time for the things that we want?
- 19:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_00]: So like there's and there's two different things there.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_01]: Well, here's the thing.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_01]: I'll just give it an example.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_01]: And I've been struggling with weight of posts on Instagram because I don't want it to come off arrogant, but you guys know me well.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_01]: So we're going to talk about it.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_01]: So in the last two weeks of recording this podcast, so not now, everything is fine today.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_01]: But in the last two weeks, we found out multiple different people were using my image and the team had to do extra work to deal with that.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_01]: Then we had our
- 20:16[SPEAKER_01]: and write notes, and then have 26, 20 minute calls at all, took 30.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_01]: On top of all the work I do, the YouTube videos, all the things, you guys I missed zero workouts, not one, zero.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_01]: So that's not a flex.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_01]: It's because those things, the Pilates session specifically, those those movement practices, they are the reason I can do all this stuff.
- 20:42[SPEAKER_01]: And so I will never say, oh, I don't have time to go work out.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_01]: I don't have time for that.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_01]: No, the other stuff is what I will have to fit in and find time or find ways to delegate or figure out if that's a piece of problem I have to deal with right now.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_01]: But like, I'm not, if I were to go, oh, this is the shitty week.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_01]: The websites are offline.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_01]: I can't work out because I got to do this.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_01]: That is a terrible, like that's too easy.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_01]: So I do think that if you keep saying, I don't have time enough time, I would definitely look at your schedule.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_01]: because you're using your time as being spent on something you don't, that doesn't, you don't want it to matter so much.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, or, you know, I think, I think, though, you know, it's tough if you have a family, right?
- 21:23[SPEAKER_00]: Or like kids or responsibilities in that way, I understand that, but there's also, you know, when it comes to that,
- 21:31[SPEAKER_00]: It's important that they understand how you value your time, too, and you know, that is something that can be a learning opportunity for them.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_01]: Amy Aladine, either episode three, no, she was episode five, episode five, and then we've had her on again, I think at least twice.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_01]: So here's the deal.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_01]: Actually, said actions are caught not taught.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_01]: She said at multiple times, it's surely believes it.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_01]: if five and six hundred and five your kids off their screens they can do pull out is with you if you can go on a family walk you can't like if they see you practicing prioritization of the things you say matter that means a lot to them and I I really do think that there is I mean obviously infants are different story but they're and there is things you can
- 22:12[SPEAKER_01]: and do.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_01]: There's also, hopefully, of a partner we can say, hey, it would mean a lot to me if I could get 20 minutes.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_01]: You don't need a full hour.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_01]: 20 minutes to do this thing that I said I wanted to do.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_01]: These are the things that are really important to me.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_01]: I need to find, can we sit down with the family calendar and find these times?
- 22:26[SPEAKER_01]: Like, how can you get the family involved?
- 22:28[SPEAKER_01]: I really want to write a book.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_01]: So that's not me.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_01]: But maybe that's you.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe you want to write a book.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe you want to work on thing.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_01]: Hey guys, it would mean a lot.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_01]: We had Stephanie at the moment tour.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_01]: She's like, I'm so jealous of your morning walks.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_01]: I want to go to morning walk.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_01]: I found how old were kids were.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_01]: And I said, so can't, are they incapable of making their own lunch?
- 22:45[SPEAKER_01]: Just like, it's a lot.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, how did you ask them?
- 22:47[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, guys, it would mean a lot to me if before I take it to school, I get to your morning walk.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_01]: Next day, next day, she texted me.
- 22:54[SPEAKER_01]: I'm on my morning walk.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_01]: They handled it.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_01]: So I just think that sometimes we, yes, time with Winnie of Kids and other and and also like some women have aging parents that they're also taking care of time, either is always an excuse for not having time.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_01]: But sometimes we're, we're also, we get into a habit of not having time.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_01]: And so we can't get out of that habit of not having time.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_01]: And maybe you're in a season where you actually could make time for something important to you.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you know, she's talking about, when we use excuse that we're blaming a lack of time, we're actually hiding the true obstacle, you know, she are just to get underneath the excuse and ask, what is the real issue here?
- 23:33[SPEAKER_00]: Is it fear, right?
- 23:34[SPEAKER_00]: Is it like, how can we take radical responsibility for our talk?
- 23:39[SPEAKER_00]: How can we, how can we actually like, because otherwise we are.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_00]: being disingenuous with ourselves, we're lying to ourselves effectively, right?
- 23:47[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I'm gonna do this thing and then we don't do this thing.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_00]: And she said, it might have all burning your calendar down and starting over.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_00]: So, she pointed out that people that you seemingly positive or productive tasks as excuses, oh my gosh, it just said so much work to do.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I didn't get a chance to go to do the thing, whatever the thing is, right?
- 24:07[SPEAKER_00]: Or I'm planning to plan, or she said that maybe you're planning to plan, you know, like, you know, ultimately, but ultimately, making time for what actually matters requires that you take responsibility and stop stalling.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_00]: You know, do I want a waffle in this or do I want a move forward?
- 24:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, I think I also, I think getting on it all this is also just like sailing getting on with yourself.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_01]: If you honestly don't have time because you have young kids, you're taking care of your single parent, you're also have an age like then we have to ask, okay, how do we get the community support?
- 24:41[SPEAKER_01]: Because that's too much for any person.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_01]: That's so much.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm not saying you have to find five hours, but like let's how we get some little snack
- 24:52[SPEAKER_01]: you know, but I think I love burning down a calendar.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_01]: I love starting over.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_00]: Well, stick around.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_00]: We might talk a little bit more about burning down calendars when we get back.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_00]: All right, finally, let's talk about those beard action items.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_00]: What bold, executable, intrinsic or targeted action items can we take away from your combo with Dr. Corey Wynn?
- 25:10[SPEAKER_00]: She said, invest in yourself, invest in a community of other women who are going places that you are also going, and it's important to make that investment with people who will hold space for your dreams.
- 25:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, you know, you were talking about how do we how do we push pause on family or friends who aren't supportive and, you know, can't get rid of them, but like don't really want to get rid of them, but like definitely they're clearly not the support system, that's where we came into this investing with ourselves.
- 25:40[SPEAKER_00]: She said inevitably you become the reflection of the five people you spend the most time with.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_01]: that I know we all hear that cliche.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_01]: It's so fucking true.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_01]: It is the most true thing because if you are around people who are wanting to learn and wanting to grow and wanting to think there, even if you don't aren't contributing to that conversation, you are hearing about the things they're doing.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_01]: It's very inspirational.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_01]: You can feel your vibes change when you hang out with different people.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_01]: Like I don't even hang out with like E. Or is any more because like I don't even have an E.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, she said you must act really and carefully cure it, you're in a circle, you know, surround yourself with people who fill the roles of cheerleader, loser, I mentor a coach, right?
- 26:24[SPEAKER_00]: And also a mentee, I'm not opposed to a mentee, someone that you can, you know, well, that's a plus, minus equal, so I talk about all this happening.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I attribute to someone who we can't figure out when he said it, but and it doesn't necessarily have to be in person, you know, like virtual communities are something you be a part of, we recommend OPC.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_01]: I think obviously is a great one.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_01]: We have some great, oh my gosh, just like Heidi and Jasmine and some other amazing people, hope like the Cassie, Lori, Kim, well now I'm relaming people.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_01]: I'm forgets so much, so sorry your name was said.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_01]: But like, but I think of these people who like, they go into the community and they're like, I didn't have time today and I'm so proud because I did it because I am worthy of doing this.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_00]: Or I did five minutes.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, what I was able to do.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I love it.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_00]: Well, what about you?
- 27:12[SPEAKER_00]: What's your biggest takeaway?
- 27:13[SPEAKER_01]: So she said look at your calendar every single morning and sure that at least one thing scheduled is that brings you joy.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_00]: Oh yeah, I really like this.
- 27:21[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that is like, if you're like, oh my god, I'm maybe burn my calendar down.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_01]: Nope.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_01]: We're just going to say there should be one thing scheduled that brings you joy.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_01]: I'm thinking of oh my god, his name was very interesting.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_01]: I think it started with a D.
- 27:38[SPEAKER_00]: All right, 2% of your day.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, still like only 30 minutes.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_01]: One minute, it's a movement 10 minutes of reading and five minutes.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_01]: One word.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_01]: No, it's like Dolmay, Del, Bray, karate, Del, now you're listening on real time how my brain works.
- 27:55[SPEAKER_01]: Canadian 2% 2% of your day.
- 27:59[SPEAKER_01]: Like definitely that was the
- 28:12[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, anyways, but he goes in that episode one and five episode one and five I said to under 200 episodes So we talk about the two percent and he gives you like a beat actor and I think that that goes align with like something that brings you joy That you're not checklisting that I actually make you feel good about yourself and it can be a small as five minutes But it has to be something you're looking forward to something that brings you joy
- 28:34[SPEAKER_01]: So maybe if you don't know what to do, write down a bunch of things you think could bring you joy and give it a try.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_01]: And she definitely, she said it might take a little bit of time to figure out what that is.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_01]: So give yourself grace, grace, be it babes, grace.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my gosh, we give grace to strangers before we give it to ourselves.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_01]: So like, please, by all means, give it to yourself.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_01]: All right, I'm less a Logan.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm Brad Crowell.
