[SPEAKER_01]: He's only 24 years old, former third round pick, but you've got to get more bodies in that defensive tackle room.

[SPEAKER_02]: So overall, I think they were decent as far as when it comes to generating pressure, but when it came to stopping the run, they were getting gasped right up the middle.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I think that, you know, losing Alfred Collins and not having the sure fire rotational piece for Alfred Collins, big, body, big guy to help plug the middle.

[SPEAKER_01]: I think safety, I think we've talked about tight input George Kittles back and we've talked about left guard.

[SPEAKER_01]: Where do you think the biggest weakness on the 49ers is after, you know, it's just a small sample size.

[SPEAKER_01]: It is just week one, but that does give us a snapshot into where this roster is.

[SPEAKER_01]: Would you say defensive tackles the biggest weakness on the team?

[SPEAKER_02]: Because the safety gave a dire Brown gave up one explosive.

[SPEAKER_02]: You had one explosive plan to air for a 41 yards.

[SPEAKER_02]: So do you take the one explosive play and put that position above the four or five explosive runs on the ground, which total over 40 yards?

[SPEAKER_02]: It's got to be the defensive tackle when it comes to stopping the run for me because if you can stop the run, you will have to force them to throw and then nine times on the tent and they're going to throw into mistakes.

[SPEAKER_02]: So, I don't, I overall don't think the safety is that much of an issue.

[SPEAKER_02]: When I watched that Jair Brown play, I felt like he and his mind, he was going to gamble for the pick, and he just wasn't in the right position to gamble for the pick and boom, boom, boom.

[SPEAKER_02]: And then whoever was supposed to make that tackle, I thought it was Drake Greenland, should have made that tackle to clean it up.

[SPEAKER_01]: And that's exactly what the 49ers did in that third quarter, which probably my favorite drive, that 99 yard drive, though, which you got the defensive stop on the goal line, that was awesome.

[SPEAKER_02]: The past, the catch and past and run, it wasn't a screen, I don't believe, to the tight-end to Luke Ferrell, but wow, he was underneath, he was wide open, he didn't cover him, that was a big play from Brock to Ferrell.
