Speaker 3: to deploying the National Guard, this time coming from the

Speaker 3: ninth US Circuit decision dealing with him doing exactly this
• 0:45
Speaker 3: in Portland and what does this mean for other cities
• 0:48
Speaker 3: around the country. Also, a massive bombshell, this time coming
• 0:52
Speaker 3: from Senator Chuck Grassley saying he now has proof that
• 0:56
Speaker 3: Biden's Attorney General Merrick Garland and Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monico,
• 1:01
Speaker 3: plus the FBI Director chrispher Ray all personally approved opening
• 1:07
Speaker 3: Arctic frost to go after Donald Trump and conservatives that
• 1:12
Speaker 3: we're aiding and supporting him.
• 1:15
Speaker 1: I'll have more details on that in.
• 1:16
Speaker 3: A second, but first, every so often something happens that
• 1:20
Speaker 3: reminds us just how fragile our freedoms are. We can't
• 1:24
Speaker 3: afford to take our rights for granted. We must draw
• 1:27
Speaker 3: a line in the sand, and our friends at Patriot

Speaker 3: slash ben forty seven or nine seven to Patriot and
• 3:05
Speaker 3: make the switch today. It's the forty seven Morning Update
• 3:09
Speaker 3: and it starts right now. Story number one, the ninth
• 3:13
Speaker 3: Circuit saying that President Trump can send the National Guard
• 3:16
Speaker 3: to Portland is another massive win for law and order.
• 3:21
Speaker 3: And if you think that the left is going to
• 3:24
Speaker 3: sit down and just say, okay, fine, the President's going
• 3:27
Speaker 3: to be able to be the president, and he has
• 3:29
Speaker 3: the authority to do this and he was elected to
• 3:31
Speaker 3: do it, you're wrong. MSNBC having a total meltdown as
• 3:35
Speaker 3: Lisa Rubin had to read the ninth Circuit decision authorizing
• 3:39
Speaker 3: Trump to deploy the National Guard in Portland. Take a
• 3:42
Speaker 3: listen to how they spun it on MSNBC.
• 3:45
Speaker 4: Yeah, And I want to just correct one thing and
• 3:47
Speaker 4: then explain why functional. Okay, it is the same. This
• 3:49
Speaker 4: is a stay of Judge Immigrant's opinion, and that's why
• 3:53
Speaker 4: it reached the Ninth Circuit as soon as it did,
• 3:55
Speaker 4: because this is an emergency motion to essentially pause for order.
• 3:58
Speaker 4: But as a functional no matter, you are absolutely correct,
• 4:01
Speaker 4: it has the function of overturning her order and thereby
• 4:06
Speaker 4: allowing the President to send the National Guard back onto
• 4:09
Speaker 4: the streets of Portland. And Katy, I want to read
• 4:11
Speaker 4: if I can, just from a little bit of the
• 4:13
Speaker 4: beginning of this ninety three page opinion, it says, after
• 4:16
Speaker 4: considering the record, and by the record they mean all
• 4:19
Speaker 4: the factual evidence at this preliminary stage, we conclude that
• 4:22
Speaker 4: it is likely that the President lawfully exercised his statutory
• 4:26
Speaker 4: authority under ten USC. Section twelve four oh six. That's
• 4:31
Speaker 4: the statute we've been referring to as Title ten when
• 4:33
Speaker 4: we have conversations about the National Guard deployments, which authorizes
• 4:37
Speaker 4: the federalization of the National Guard. When the president is
• 4:40
Speaker 4: unable with the regular forces to execute the laws of
• 4:43
Speaker 4: the United States. And this is the important part. The
• 4:45
Speaker 4: evidence the president relied on reflects quote, a colorable assessment
• 4:50
Speaker 4: of the facts in law within a range of honest judgment.
• 4:53
Speaker 4: We thus conclude that defendants are likely to succeed on
• 4:57
Speaker 4: the merits of their appeal. Basically say saying when and
• 5:00
Speaker 4: if a court considers all of the record in this
• 5:03
Speaker 4: matter is tried and it gets back to an appellate
• 5:06
Speaker 4: court through an ordinary process where they have full briefing
• 5:09
Speaker 4: and full evidence, that they still think Donald Trump is
• 5:12
Speaker 4: likely to prevail there because he has the discretion to
• 5:17
Speaker 4: determine as the president, within a range of honest judgment.
• 5:21
Speaker 4: So it is reasonable.
• 5:22
Speaker 2: This is what you and I were talking about last week.
• 5:25
Speaker 3: It is very clear the left realizes now they're running
• 5:28
Speaker 3: out of ways to stop President Trump from doing his job,
• 5:31
Speaker 3: a job that he was elected by the American people
• 5:34
Speaker 3: to do, and they're going to do everything they can
• 5:37
Speaker 3: to continue to try to stop him. But as we
• 5:39
Speaker 3: witness what is happening now in Portland and the total
• 5:42
Speaker 3: number of arrast nationwide in the last nine months in
• 5:46
Speaker 3: law and order, that is also being restored to incredibly
• 5:50
Speaker 3: violent cities like Portland, Washington, d C. Memphis, Tennessee, and
• 5:56
Speaker 3: many more to come, including Chicago. What you're witnessing is
• 5:59
Speaker 3: a president that is doing exactly what he promised he
• 6:02
Speaker 3: was going to do, keep all Americans safe, no matter
• 6:06
  Speaker 3: where you live.
• 6:07
Speaker 2: Now, story number two.
• 6:08
Speaker 3: It happened several years ago, but we're now finally starting
• 6:12
Speaker 3: to get to the bottom of the corruption at the
• 6:14
Speaker 3: deep state under Joe Biden's leadership. You may remember us
• 6:19
Speaker 3: talking about Arctic Frost and that was an FBI DOJ
• 6:23
Speaker 3: investigation that was open in April of twenty twenty two
• 6:27
Speaker 3: as a quote sensitive investigative matter. It focused on efforts,
• 6:33
Speaker 3: they claimed at the time, to overturn the twenty twenty election.
• 6:38
Speaker 3: That's right, they were saying that Donald Trump was trying
• 6:42
  Speaker 3: to overthrow.
• 6:42
Speaker 1: The will of the people.
• 6:44
Speaker 3: Multiple outlets and Senator Chuck Grassey's committee are now describing
• 6:49
Speaker 3: it as a precursor to Jack Smith's DC case against
• 6:54
Speaker 3: Donald Trump. Grassley's office says agents issued one hundred of subpoenas,
• 7:01
Speaker 3: conducted dozens of interviews, and sought call records for eight
• 7:05
Speaker 3: Republican senators and one House member from January the fourth
• 7:10
Speaker 3: through the seventh of twenty twenty one. We now know
• 7:13
Speaker 3: that list has expanded and now include Senator Ted Cruz.
• 7:17
Speaker 3: We also know that not only were they spawing on
• 7:19
Speaker 3: elected members of Congress that were Republicans only, they also
• 7:24
Speaker 3: targeted GOP aligned organizations. Notable actions linked to Arctic Frost
• 7:31
Speaker 3: include the FBI's August ninth, twenty twenty two seizure of
• 7:36
Speaker 3: Representative Scott Perry's phone, surveillance es to locate him and
• 7:41
Speaker 3: broad a request tied to alternate electors. Later elements fed
• 7:47
Speaker 3: into Special Council Jack Smith's.
• 7:49
Speaker 1: Work, which brings us to the new bombshell.
• 7:54
Speaker 3: Chuck Grassley has now released documents he says show proof
• 7:59
Speaker 3: that the Attorney Merrick Garland, the Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monico,
• 8:04
Speaker 3: and FBI Director Chrisopher Ray personally approved opening Arctic Frost
• 8:09
Speaker 3: in April of twenty twenty two. Multiple write ups cite
• 8:13
Speaker 3: the memo and handwritten sign offs, and Grassley posted the
• 8:17
Speaker 3: claims publicly as well. Now, Grasseley's characterization is simple. He
• 8:23
Speaker 3: framed Arctic Frost as a sweeping partisan overreach that weaponized
• 8:29
Speaker 3: law enforcement and surveilled members of Congress. He ties it
• 8:34
Speaker 3: to Smiths now dismissed DC case. And that's just the
• 8:38
Speaker 3: tip of the iceberg. So let's break this down a
• 8:41
Speaker 3: little bit more. The former Attorney General Merrick Garland and
• 8:44
Speaker 3: former FBI Director Ray decided to approve the sense of
• 8:48
Speaker 3: matter and that led to the surveillance of virtually every
• 8:52
Speaker 3: Republican that we know of right now. It helped spark
• 8:56
Speaker 3: a special Council probe, which was what it was designed
• 8:59
Speaker 3: to do at a Donald truy Rump's quote efforts to
• 9:02
Speaker 3: overturn the twenty twenty election that obviously was a lie.
• 9:06
Speaker 3: Grassley now signed the new documents he received for the
• 9:09
Speaker 3: Department of Justice and Garland's approval of the Sensitive Investigation
• 9:14
Speaker 3: Matter on April the fifth of twenty twenty two, recommended
• 9:18
Speaker 3: by the Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monico, and what it
• 9:21
Speaker 3: did was authorize the FBI's Washington Field office to launch
• 9:27
Speaker 3: a quote full investigation into what officials described as an
• 9:33
Speaker 3: artecutable factual basis indicating the existence of a federal crime
• 9:38
Speaker 3: quote unquote they said involved Trump and individuals closely associated
• 9:43
Speaker 3: with Donald Trump, which is exactly how they opened the
• 9:46
Speaker 3: fishing expedition to go after Trump and to try to
• 9:49
  Speaker 3: lock him up.
• 9:50
  Speaker 1: Now.
• 9:50
Speaker 3: The launch of Arctic Frost and the investigation would then
• 9:54
Speaker 3: lead to the appointment of the Special Council Jack Smith
• 9:57
Speaker 3: in November of twenty twenty two. Quote proof that bien
• 10:01
Speaker 3: Attorney General Merrit Garland, deput Attorney General Lisa Monico, and
• 10:05
Speaker 3: FBI Director Ray All personally approved opening Arctic Frost.
• 10:10
Speaker 1: Grassley said in his statement.
• 10:12
Speaker 3: This investigation least unchecked government power at the highest levels.
• 10:18
Speaker 3: My oversight will continue, Grassley says. Grasseley also announced earlier
• 10:23
Speaker 3: this month that at least nine Republican centers now were
• 10:26
Speaker 3: targeted by the FBI in this probe. On October the sixth,
• 10:31
Speaker 3: Grassley said FBI agents conducted toll record analysis, a form
• 10:36
Speaker 3: of communications metadata review, on several GOP lawmakers, including Center
• 10:41
Speaker 3: Lindsay Graham of South Carolina, Josh Harley and Missouri, Ron
• 10:45
Speaker 3: Johnson Wisconsin, and Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee. The toll analysis
• 10:50
Speaker 3: of the phones could have revealed whom each lawmaker contacted
• 10:54
Speaker 3: by call or texts in the day surrounding the January sixth,
• 10:58
Speaker 3: twenty twenty one Capital riot. Grassley called this worse than Watergate.
• 11:05
Speaker 3: In addition, ninety two Republican or conservative aligned groups and individuals,
• 11:11
Speaker 3: including Turning Point USA, co founded by slain conservative leader
• 11:16
Speaker 3: Charlie Kirk, were also targeted, suggesting that Arctich Frost was
• 11:21
Speaker 3: quote much broader than just an electoral matter, Grassley said
• 11:25
Speaker 3: during the briefing. He said, this shows now that they
• 11:29
Speaker 3: were targeting their political adversaries. Arctich Frost wasn't just a
• 11:34
Speaker 3: case to politically investigate Trump. It was the vehicle by
• 11:38
Speaker 3: which partisan GOP agents and DOJ prosecutors could achieve their
• 11:44
Speaker 3: partisan INDs and improperly investigate the entire Republican political apparatus,
• 11:52
Speaker 3: Grassley added. FBI Director Caspittel also coming out vowing transparency
• 11:59
Speaker 3: and accountability following the revelations. After Grassley's announcement, we terminate employees,
• 12:06
Speaker 3: we abolished the weaponized cr DASH fifteen squad, and we
• 12:11
Speaker 3: initiated an ongoing investigation with more accountability measures ahead. Patel
• 12:16
Speaker 3: said CR fifteen was the FBI's at Washington Field office
• 12:21
Speaker 3: squad focused on investigating federal public corruption. In reality, it
• 12:26
Speaker 3: was just going after conservatives. In May, the FBI quietly
• 12:30
Speaker 3: disbanded CR DASH fifteen and reassigned its agents as part
• 12:35
Speaker 3: of a broader reorganization and shift in priorities. So here
• 12:40
Speaker 3: we are with even more evidence that the Biden administration
• 12:43
Speaker 3: did everything they could not only to go after Donald Trump,
• 12:47
Speaker 3: but to go after anyone that supported Donald Trump politically,
• 12:51
Speaker 3: and any up and coming conservative that they found a
• 12:55
Speaker 3: threat was then put on their lists to be investigated.
• 12:59
Speaker 3: Thank goodness, and Trump is now in the Oval Office
• 13:02
Speaker 3: and the people around him are.
• 13:03
Speaker 1: Making sure that this never happens again.
