- 3:16Speaker 1: so where's our first caller?
- 3:18Speaker 2: All right? First one we have is Rachel.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Rachel hy girls.
- 3:22Speaker 4: This is Rachel, a raccoon from a dumpster in Montana.
- 3:26Speaker 4: So since Sister Wives is on a little break, I've
- 3:28Speaker 4: been going back and rewatching some episodes and in one
- 3:33Speaker 4: of the tell Nothings with Suki, Robin goes off about
- 3:39Speaker 4: how some of the wives were rejecting Cody affection wise,
- 3:45Speaker 4: and I don't see how that's going to help your relationship.
- 3:48Speaker 4: Wasn't Cody also rejecting the wives affection wise? Why is
- 3:54Speaker 4: she not calling him out on doing the exact same
- 3:59Speaker 4: thing to these women if he I mean, obviously she's
- 4:03Speaker 4: hearing in the bedroom that certain people won't do certain things,
- 4:07Speaker 4: or that he's not getting it on with somebody because
- 4:11Speaker 4: of whatever. Why isn't she calling him out on that.
- 4:15Speaker 4: He's been rejecting Mary affection wise for a decade. Why
- 4:21Speaker 4: isn't she calling him out on that? I mean, we
- 4:23Speaker 4: know she doesn't because she's Robin, and you know, Cody's
- 4:26Speaker 4: the best thing ever. But anyway, I just thought that
- 4:29Speaker 4: was interesting. I didn't catch it the first time I
- 4:31Speaker 4: watched it. So I hope you guys are having a
- 4:33Speaker 4: great week and I can't wait to see you soon.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Bye byeh What do you think?
- 4:38Speaker 2: I mean, Robin's not gonna call Cody out on that
- 4:40Speaker 2: because she doesn't want him sticking his pencil and anybody
- 4:43Speaker 2: else but her, Like, that's just the long and short
- 4:46Speaker 2: of it. I think I think she gets jealous anytime
- 4:49Speaker 2: he does have to stick his pencil into you know,
- 4:51Speaker 2: like say she ate Janelle, or maybe to keep Christine
- 4:55Speaker 2: off his ass or whatever. So I think she just
- 4:58Speaker 2: doesn't call him out because she doesn't doesn't want him
- 5:01Speaker 2: to do that.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Yeah, and she's constantly caping for Cody. She knows exactly
- 5:06Speaker 1: what it is that they're doing. And at the time
- 5:09Speaker 1: that she said that, she knew that he was absolutely
- 5:11Speaker 1: isolating not just the women, but also the children. I
- 5:15Speaker 1: will say though, that when I watched that, I just
- 5:18Speaker 1: had the distinct feeling that she was calling out a
- 5:22Speaker 1: certain wife, oh, like that maybe she had heard one
- 5:25Speaker 1: of the wives had turned him down or didn't want
- 5:29Speaker 1: him in her bed anymore. And of course, at around
- 5:32Speaker 1: that time, well yeah, after that time, Christine had said,
- 5:35Speaker 1: I don't want you in my bedroom anymore. You got
- 5:37Speaker 1: to move all your shit out, like you can't come
- 5:38Speaker 1: up and do this loft into this room anymore. And
- 5:41Speaker 1: so it kind of felt like that's what Robin was
- 5:43Speaker 1: really trying to get at, as opposed to making a
- 5:46Speaker 1: blanket statement that the wives you know, didn't give Cody
- 5:49Speaker 1: what he wanted. He did not want it, yeah at all.
- 5:52Speaker 1: In fact, he didn't spend the time with those wives,
- 5:55Speaker 1: He didn't see those wives. So she's just full of
- 5:58Speaker 1: crap as usual.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Yeah, And I mean, if she was going to call
- 6:03Speaker 2: him out, then she would have to admit that she
- 6:05Speaker 2: knows all of the stuff that Cody's telling her about
- 6:08Speaker 2: the other wives, which she has always maintained like, no,
- 6:11Speaker 2: Cody's never told me about his other relationships. No, I
- 6:14Speaker 2: don't know anything. But in reality she knows.
- 6:17Speaker 1: All of the secrets. Well, even in her saying that
- 6:20Speaker 1: she's tipping her hand to the fact that she heard that, well,
- 6:23Speaker 1: who did she hear that from?
- 6:24Speaker 2: It?
- 6:24Speaker 1: It wasn't Christine, it was Cody.
- 6:26Speaker 2: Yeah. But when Christine said that to Cody about you
- 6:30Speaker 2: can't be in my bed anymore? Was that after he
- 6:32Speaker 2: told her we're no longer going to be intimate.
- 6:35Speaker 1: I believe so. I believe so.
- 6:37Speaker 2: So that was a reaction to him being like, I
- 6:39Speaker 2: ain't touching to pussy ever again.
- 6:40Speaker 1: I think so.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Yes, yes, it's different Robin right gosh, But yeah, thank
- 6:46Speaker 2: you Rachel for that call, and if any of you
- 6:48Speaker 2: guys have any other theories, drop him in the comments below. Yes,
- 6:52Speaker 2: next call we have is from Anna.
- 6:55Speaker 3: Anna, Hey, Beatrice and Dahlia. This is Anna calling from Oakland, California.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Huge fan of your podcasts. I rarely watched Sister Wise
- 7:08Speaker 3: anymore and just really tune into.
- 7:10Speaker 5: What you two are up to.
- 7:12Speaker 3: So I appreciate your service. I just wanted to ask
- 7:18Speaker 3: you your thoughts on this regarding the parentification. The three
- 7:24Speaker 3: oldest children from the OG three, so Logan, Aspen, and Leon,
- 7:31Speaker 3: and it's interesting to me that neither of those kids
- 7:36Speaker 3: have had children. I believe Logan and Michelle have made
- 7:40Speaker 3: a choice to not become parents at this time. Unclear
- 7:44Speaker 3: about Aspen or Leon and you know why. But I
- 7:49Speaker 3: do think it's interesting, a little bit fascinating that those
- 7:51Speaker 3: three oldest chose to remain childless at least at this point,
- 7:56Speaker 3: whereas you have Madison and Michelty just popping them out
- 7:59Speaker 3: left and right. Anyways, just thought I would share, appreciate
- 8:03Speaker 3: your work and sending love from California.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Bye, Thank you.
- 8:10Speaker 3: Anna.
- 8:10Speaker 1: You know my first husband was born and raised in Oakland.
- 8:13Speaker 1: The breakdown sound, that's what the breakdown, that's him.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Hmm.
- 8:18Speaker 1: I don't think that it's a mystery at all. I
- 8:23Speaker 1: think those were the three primary kids who got the
- 8:27Speaker 1: brunt of the parentification. I think by the time they
- 8:31Speaker 1: were in the cul de sac and they had their
- 8:33Speaker 1: routines and their rhythms, like, they didn't really have to
- 8:36Speaker 1: lean on, for example, Machelti or Hunter as much as
- 8:40Speaker 1: they did for those other kids during the more turbulent times,
- 8:43Speaker 1: especially when like in Lehigh, you had Janelle working all
- 8:48Speaker 1: day and Cody leaving the house to work, and I
- 8:50Speaker 1: think Mary was part time, and it's literally just Christine
- 8:53Speaker 1: with nine thousand children in the basement. You need Logan
- 8:57Speaker 1: to help with the breakfast, and you need Aspen to
- 8:59Speaker 1: help people to get dressed. Like, I can see why
- 9:02Speaker 1: they leaned on the kids at that time, but like
- 9:05Speaker 1: they perpetuated it though they took it through the whole
- 9:09Speaker 1: teen years. By the time Logan goes to college, he's like,
- 9:12Speaker 1: I don't want to go home. No, I go home
- 9:15Speaker 1: once or twice a month because I need to have
- 9:17Speaker 1: my distance so that I can grow as a human being.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Yep.
- 9:20Speaker 1: So, first and foremost, we have to give them credit
- 9:23Speaker 1: because they raised good kids. Yes, all of these kids
- 9:26Speaker 1: seem to be wonderful children, and that's definitely a reflection
- 9:30Speaker 1: of the parents. But at the same time, you can
- 9:32Speaker 1: see through their children the mistakes that they made, and parentification,
- 9:36Speaker 1: which is a form of abuse, is most definitely one
- 9:40Speaker 1: of those mistakes. Oh totally.
- 9:41Speaker 2: And I think the reason why like michel T and
- 9:44Speaker 2: Madison were popping out kids maybe because they weren't as parentified,
- 9:48Speaker 2: or maybe because like Madison, she's like on her dumb
- 9:51Speaker 2: pod gas that she had that was she stopped doing.
- 9:54Speaker 2: She was talking about parenting tips and stuff. She seemed
- 9:56Speaker 2: to really try to change that behavi year and try
- 10:00Speaker 2: to be a better parent to her kids. I don't
- 10:02Speaker 2: know how good of a parent she is right now
- 10:04Speaker 2: or anything like that, but it seems like maybe she's
- 10:07Speaker 2: gotten help, maybe she's gotten therapy, and so she's kind
- 10:09Speaker 2: of worked through some of those issues and she's wanting
- 10:12Speaker 2: to be better by her kids. But conversely, with like
- 10:14Speaker 2: Logan and Aspen and Leon, maybe they have a bunch
- 10:17Speaker 2: of resentment and maybe they're like, I don't even know
- 10:19Speaker 2: if I'm going to be a good parent. I don't
- 10:21Speaker 2: even want to deal with that. I was a parent
- 10:22Speaker 2: my entire fucking childhood. Like I don't even want to
- 10:25Speaker 2: be responsible for anybody else right now. I just want
- 10:27Speaker 2: to be responsible for myself. And I feel like that's fair,
- 10:31Speaker 2: Like that's completely fair. I totally see their perspective in that.
- 10:34Speaker 2: If that's how they feel, I can understand why they
- 10:36Speaker 2: wouldn't want to have kids right now, and maybe they
- 10:39Speaker 2: don't ever want to. Maybe they will when they're older
- 10:41Speaker 2: and they've kind of matured a little bit more and
- 10:43Speaker 2: they're like, Okay, maybe I'm ready or maybe they won't
- 10:46Speaker 2: be ready, and that's totally fine. But yeah, I think
- 10:49Speaker 2: it's completely understandable why they didn't have kids. I wouldn't
- 10:52Speaker 2: want to either, you know.
- 10:53Speaker 1: And looking at Aspen in specific, it's not just that
- 10:57Speaker 1: she had to help parent herself, but in a lot
- 11:01Speaker 1: of ways she strikes me as a bit maternal towards Christine.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Especially in these last couple of seasons, with Christine getting married,
- 11:10Speaker 1: it's like Aspen in the background being like, okay, mom,
- 11:12Speaker 1: you're very cringe, or okay, mom, let's get organized. Even
- 11:15Speaker 1: in this week's episode that we recap season six, episode four,
- 11:19Speaker 1: you have Aspen actually making lists to help Christine move,
- 11:24Speaker 1: so she's managing not just the kids, she's also managing
- 11:28Speaker 1: her mom. And then with Leon in this past week's episode,
- 11:33Speaker 1: Leon's very upset because they're not going to be able
- 11:36Speaker 1: to get into the Call de Sac by Christmas. But
- 11:38Speaker 1: you can kind of see how enmeshed both of them
- 11:42Speaker 1: are together, and I'm almost wondering if Leon is this
- 11:46Speaker 1: upset because Leon's worried about Mary Mary always coming in last,
- 11:53Speaker 1: Mary always getting the dregs of the family, Mary always
- 11:57Speaker 1: being isolated, and Leon sees that. Leon knows that, and
- 12:01Speaker 1: so it's not just about Leon not getting what they want.
- 12:05Speaker 1: It's about Mary taking last place and Leon being upset
- 12:09Speaker 1: about that, and so Leon having to manage and in
- 12:13Speaker 1: some ways nurture in a parent affied way, their own mom.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Yes, I think you're right on the money that with
- 12:20Speaker 2: that with Leon, that actually makes a lot of sense
- 12:22Speaker 2: why they have their attitude, why they might come off
- 12:26Speaker 2: a little spoiled because they are so immeshed with Mary,
- 12:29Speaker 2: and Mary's pretty spoiled, I mean materialistically, so that would
- 12:33Speaker 2: make a lot of sense. And honestly, I feel for
- 12:35Speaker 2: all of these kids. I hope that they're all in
- 12:37Speaker 2: therapy because I think they all need it, and I
- 12:40Speaker 2: hope they're getting the help that they need. And if
- 12:42Speaker 2: they want to start families, that's fucking awesome. They're going
- 12:45Speaker 2: to be great parents. And if they don't, that's also
- 12:47Speaker 2: great too. And I totally understand why they don't want to,
- 12:49Speaker 2: because they had to be parents to eighteen kids with
- 12:53Speaker 2: like not even by their own design, Like they didn't
- 12:55Speaker 2: want to have to do that, so.
- 12:56Speaker 1: Yeah, and I think that it's probably really responsible and
- 13:00Speaker 1: right that these kids are waiting until they're older. You know,
- 13:04Speaker 1: they've got a little life experience under their belt before
- 13:08Speaker 1: they take on the challenge of having kids. Because back
- 13:12Speaker 1: in my day, you know, we were have My best
- 13:14Speaker 1: friend in middle school got pregnant at fourteen. Oh, I
- 13:18Speaker 1: knew so many eighteen moms when I was growing up.
- 13:20Speaker 1: But then it was absolutely common to start having your
- 13:23Speaker 1: children around twenty twenty one, twenty two, twenty three. And
- 13:25Speaker 1: that's great, and if you did, that's fantastic, su but
- 13:27Speaker 1: you are still growing up. It doesn't negate the fact
- 13:30Speaker 1: that your brain isn't fully formed if you're having children
- 13:33Speaker 1: at that age. And so to wait until you're in
- 13:35Speaker 1: your late twenties early thirties, I think that's really responsible
- 13:38Speaker 1: so that you can understand what the landscape is, especially
- 13:42Speaker 1: if you had to raise these kids yourself, Like, give
- 13:44Speaker 1: yourself some time, grow, get some therapy, enjoy your life,
- 13:49Speaker 1: travel and then have some little kids if you want to.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Oh, one hundred percent. And to your point, like I wonder,
- 13:55Speaker 2: I think Christine and Janelle and Mary all had kids
- 13:58Speaker 2: really young too, right, like in their early twenty. I
- 14:00Speaker 2: would imagine at least Janelle and Christine did, so maybe
- 14:03Speaker 2: that speaks to their failures as parents too, and how
- 14:07Speaker 2: they parentified all these kids because they weren't mature enough
- 14:09Speaker 2: to have children so young, and they had so many
- 14:13Speaker 2: so young and so close together in a polygamous marriage.
- 14:16Speaker 1: So like they fucked up in a trailer, in a.
- 14:18Speaker 2: Trailer, in a single wide trailer.
- 14:20Speaker 1: Without enough money, in poverty, so of course it was chaos.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Of course, these are kids having kids, trying to figure
- 14:28Speaker 1: out what to do and how to do it, so
- 14:30Speaker 1: they're going to make mistakes. I often wonder, like does
- 14:33Speaker 1: Janelle ever sit in her zen tree farm or fruit
- 14:37Speaker 1: farm or whatever it is, does she ever sit, you know,
- 14:40Speaker 1: in her life and think back about all the things
- 14:43Speaker 1: that she could have done differently? She must, I think
- 14:45Speaker 1: as parents that you do that, Like does she ever
- 14:48Speaker 1: regret some of these decisions that she made? And that's
- 14:51Speaker 1: the kind of thing I would really like to see
- 14:54Speaker 1: or to hear on the show, like some reflection, some introspection,
- 14:58Speaker 1: looking at everything that's happened in and how this is
- 15:01Speaker 1: impacted and even damaged your children and this family, and
- 15:04Speaker 1: like speak to that, right, talk about that, like, do
- 15:07Speaker 1: you regret parentifying all of these kids? Can you give
- 15:10Speaker 1: us some context and what you were thinking at the time.
- 15:13Speaker 1: Right Unfortunately, I don't think we're ever going to hear
- 15:15Speaker 1: any of that.
- 15:16Speaker 2: No, because this family never likes to air out their
- 15:18Speaker 2: dirty laundry, and it's really annoying. Because if they could
- 15:21Speaker 2: show that vulnerability and if they could speak to that,
- 15:23Speaker 2: I feel like the show would be even more popular,
- 15:26Speaker 2: and so many parents that are the same ages as
- 15:28Speaker 2: the Browns would be like, oh my god, yes, I
- 15:30Speaker 2: totally relate and thank you for speaking on that. It
- 15:33Speaker 2: would be really cool and really transformative. And I feel
- 15:35Speaker 2: like it would be really great for their kids to
- 15:37Speaker 2: see too, because their kids have nineteen seasons of all
- 15:41Speaker 2: of this bullshit that they have to watch, or maybe
- 15:43Speaker 2: they just refuse to even watch anything about it, but
- 15:47Speaker 2: like they have their dad saying the most heinous things
- 15:50Speaker 2: on TV and their moms making fools of themselves, and
- 15:53Speaker 2: like all of this stuff is immortalized on the TV
- 15:57Speaker 2: and the internet. It would be so powerful to have
- 16:00Speaker 2: their parents at least even write a book or something.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Maybe Christine will talk about that in her Baby.
- 16:04Speaker 1: I don't know, just take some ownership.
- 16:06Speaker 2: That would be so great.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Yeah, that would probably help in their healing journey.
- 16:09Speaker 2: Yeah, it would so. Anyway, thank you for your message, Anna,
- 16:12Speaker 2: A very good question. Yes, next one we have is
- 16:15Speaker 2: from Tanya, who is the one that called last week. Yes,
- 16:18Speaker 2: so it's a continuation of what she was saying about
- 16:21Speaker 2: Christine and Robin and all that.
- 16:23Speaker 6: Okay, so what I was gonna say, this is Tanya again,
- 16:27Speaker 6: dumbster in Houston, and I do love to whisper like
- 16:30Speaker 6: I'm telling a secret in the back of her room.
- 16:34Speaker 6: I work for the government and we have to be
- 16:36Speaker 6: secretive when we talk in our cubicles. So maybe that's
- 16:38Speaker 6: why I.
- 16:38Speaker 5: Talk like this.
- 16:39Speaker 6: But what I was saying was, in those episodes, she
- 16:42Speaker 6: starts to mimic the all of the women, like she
- 16:45Speaker 6: tries to embody all the little things about each woman
- 16:49Speaker 6: that Cody likes so that she can be the all
- 16:53Speaker 6: in one woman that he needs and he doesn't need
- 16:55Speaker 6: those other women. If you notice, in those early seasons,
- 16:58Speaker 6: she's not the crier Mary. The crier Mary gets all
- 17:01Speaker 6: the sympathy from Cody when she cries, and Robin was
- 17:05Speaker 6: not a crier. In the first couple of seasons, all
- 17:06Speaker 6: of a sudden, she's the crier and she gets sympathy,
- 17:08Speaker 6: and Mary doesn't cry anymore, and she's always looking at
- 17:10Speaker 6: her like, what the wrong is with this pitch? Well,
- 17:13Speaker 6: and then with Janelle, Janelle decorated all of her house
- 17:17Speaker 6: with cowboy stuff because she loved Cody was a cowboy,
- 17:19Speaker 6: and they had that cowboy theme together. And now Robin
- 17:22Speaker 6: and Cody have horsey rings and they've got a cowboy
- 17:24Speaker 6: room downstairs in the McMansion, So she stole that from Janelle.
- 17:29Speaker 6: And then with Christine, Christine was the one who had
- 17:31Speaker 6: all the kids and always had all the gatherings at
- 17:33Speaker 6: her house and was always playful, and so now when
- 17:36Speaker 6: she's with Cody, she tries to be all playful and
- 17:39Speaker 6: I want everybody to gather at my house. And she
- 17:40Speaker 6: always tried to be the one where all the kids
- 17:43Speaker 6: were around, even though she fucking hates kids. So that's
- 17:45Speaker 6: what I would say. She tried to embody all of
- 17:48Speaker 6: the things that Cody liked about the other women and
- 17:50Speaker 6: just make it her thing.
- 17:52Speaker 1: So, oh, she not, And I'm listening so intently to
- 17:57Speaker 1: her opinion. Well it's starting to makes some sense, now,
- 18:01Speaker 1: isn't it a little bit, especially when like she stole
- 18:03Speaker 1: Christine's family picture when the kids were little babies and
- 18:09Speaker 1: put her kids in the picture with Cody as a
- 18:11Speaker 1: young man. Yeah she did. That's that's a good point.
- 18:15Speaker 2: That's some evil shit right there.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Is it conscious or is it unconscious? Do you think
- 18:20Speaker 1: she did this with a plan or did she kind
- 18:22Speaker 1: of just find her way through it and she started
- 18:25Speaker 1: to become worse and worse with it?
- 18:27Speaker 4: God, I don't know.
- 18:28Speaker 2: I mean that just speaks to like our age old
- 18:30Speaker 2: question of like is Robin smart enough to be this
- 18:33Speaker 2: crazy puppet master or if she is, she just brilliantly stupid,
- 18:37Speaker 2: like another caller had said a couple weeks ago. But
- 18:39Speaker 2: maybe it's unconscious because, like you know, when you spend
- 18:42Speaker 2: a lot of time with somebody, you kind of pick
- 18:44Speaker 2: up their mannerisms, Like you and I do this podcast
- 18:46Speaker 2: a lot, and sometimes I pick up some of your mannerisms,
- 18:49Speaker 2: like at home and your daughter's like, oh my god,
- 18:50Speaker 2: you sound like my mom because we're around each other
- 18:53Speaker 2: all the time. And it's unconscious. It's not like I'm
- 18:56Speaker 2: intentionally trying to be like you. It's just because I
- 18:58Speaker 2: love you and I'm around you.
- 19:00Speaker 1: It's supposed to.
- 19:00Speaker 2: It, and I'm exposed to you. So maybe it's just
- 19:03Speaker 2: an unconscious thing and she's just picking up these things
- 19:05Speaker 2: because she sees that Cody likes these aspects of these women,
- 19:10Speaker 2: and so she wants to be the perfect woman for
- 19:13Speaker 2: Cody because that is Robin's goal. She wants to be
- 19:16Speaker 2: his favorite. We've been talking about that for a long time.
- 19:18Speaker 2: But I don't know if it's like intentional mm hmm.
- 19:23Speaker 2: She's stupid, so.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Well, yeah, I think it's something she grew into in
- 19:27Speaker 1: terms of her power. Like in the beginning, she didn't
- 19:30Speaker 1: really have a lot of it except for her breakdancing pussy,
- 19:34Speaker 1: which obviously Cody was very enamored of. But we had
- 19:38Speaker 1: these other women who were established in these relationships with
- 19:41Speaker 1: this man, and I'm sure she was intimidated to some degree,
- 19:44Speaker 1: like how am I going to actually integrate into this
- 19:46Speaker 1: family when I don't really want to be a part
- 19:49Speaker 1: of it? Though I still want to be separate, I
- 19:51Speaker 1: still want to have more. I want to have my
- 19:52Speaker 1: own thing with this man. But as he starts to
- 19:56Speaker 1: fall more and more in love with her and for her,
- 20:01Speaker 1: she has that sense of power and she starts to
- 20:04Speaker 1: wield it in different ways, and so by the time
- 20:06Speaker 1: we get to season nineteen, she's full on evil, dark
- 20:10Speaker 1: lord powers and principalities that we must do battle against.
- 20:15Speaker 1: And this is the woman that we have. This is
- 20:16Speaker 1: the woman that she's become. I don't think I don't
- 20:19Speaker 1: think she started out that way. I think she was
- 20:22Speaker 1: an opportunistic parasite. Like I think she sniffed an opportunity
- 20:26Speaker 1: for her and her kids. She's align with this family,
- 20:29Speaker 1: and there was going to be a TLC television show
- 20:31Speaker 1: and maybe she'd be able to get some money and
- 20:33Speaker 1: help her family out. But as she embedded, like a
- 20:36Speaker 1: tick into the fucking ass of this family, she realized,
- 20:40Speaker 1: oh my god, I can run things because I've got
- 20:42Speaker 1: the attention of the man.
- 20:44Speaker 2: That's a good point.
- 20:45Speaker 1: She became awful.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Yeah, just continue to use it to her advantage. And
- 20:49Speaker 2: I mean Cody also was doing it too, like he
- 20:53Speaker 2: was so in love with her that he wanted to
- 20:55Speaker 2: be around her all of the time. Like I don't
- 20:57Speaker 2: even know if it was always Robin trying to haul
- 21:00Speaker 2: him over to her house or keep him over at
- 21:02Speaker 2: her house. I wonder if Cody also was just like,
- 21:05Speaker 2: oh god, I don't want to fucking go see Christine.
- 21:07Speaker 2: I'm just gonna leave at seven, and then I'm sure
- 21:09Speaker 2: just so I can go back to Robin's nest, like
- 21:12Speaker 2: he just wants to be back with her all the time.
- 21:14Speaker 2: So it's just this like perfect combination of these people,
- 21:17Speaker 2: this evil woman who wants to suck all of these
- 21:21Speaker 2: other women dry financially and take their man, like literally
- 21:24Speaker 2: steal their man.
- 21:25Speaker 1: She didn't come in feeling that, though, don't you think
- 21:27Speaker 1: I don't think she came in thinking that. I thought
- 21:30Speaker 1: she wanted the fame though maybe yes, yes, maybe.
- 21:33Speaker 2: Yeah, But nowhere you're gonna say, I think sorry to go.
- 21:35Speaker 1: I think that she wanted to have a position in
- 21:38Speaker 1: place in the family. I think in the beginning she
- 21:40Speaker 1: was just hoping for it to be equal, but once
- 21:43Speaker 1: she got a sense, oh it's not equal. Actually I'm preferred.
- 21:46Speaker 1: Actually I can get it whatever the fuck I want.
- 21:47Speaker 1: Actually there's some real money that we're dealing with with
- 21:50Speaker 1: this show and with this life. Then she started to
- 21:52Speaker 1: make different types of moves.
- 21:54Speaker 2: Oh, so do you think she really came into this
- 21:56Speaker 2: family cap in hand with good intentions at first, until
- 21:58Speaker 2: she saw that she was the face.
- 22:00Speaker 1: I think she was legitimately attracted to Cody. I think
- 22:02Speaker 1: she had a lightning bolt in her pussy. I think
- 22:04Speaker 1: she was probably religious enough to think that that was
- 22:07Speaker 1: a lightning bolt from God. I think she also knew
- 22:10Speaker 1: and had information, and I'm not sure how she had it,
- 22:12Speaker 1: but she got it that there was some sort of
- 22:15Speaker 1: a television program in the offing and that she could
- 22:17Speaker 1: insert herself into a situation and it just so happens
- 22:20Speaker 1: to be that's she's actually attracted to him. So it
- 22:22Speaker 1: was like this sort of confluence of events that benefited
- 22:27Speaker 1: her and that she took advantage of.
- 22:29Speaker 2: Over time, the fall of all of them, like the
- 22:33Speaker 2: fall of her and Cody. I just can't wait for
- 22:36Speaker 2: that because she thinks that she ran off like a bandit,
- 22:40Speaker 2: like oh man, I got, Mami, I got.
- 22:45Speaker 1: I don't know, I mean, I don't understand. I just
- 22:48Speaker 1: feel like the sort of Damocles is perched above their
- 22:52Speaker 1: heads and it's going to drop at any moment. And
- 22:55Speaker 1: if you don't figure out how to manage this house
- 22:58Speaker 1: of cards or how to walk this tire, like because
- 23:01Speaker 1: if you lean in either direction, if your money goes
- 23:03Speaker 1: weird in either direction, you stand to lose absolutely everything
- 23:07Speaker 1: and you don't have the goodwill of the people that
- 23:09Speaker 1: watch you. We hate your guts. We're not gonna support
- 23:12Speaker 1: a spinoff show of you ever. We're gonna support Christine
- 23:16Speaker 1: and Janelle and even Mary before we support you. So like,
- 23:20Speaker 1: I would be so stressed, I would have high blood pressure.
- 23:23Speaker 1: I would be twitter paid bitch. I would be upset
- 23:26Speaker 1: and unhappy because they don't have any financial security. No,
- 23:29Speaker 1: they can't tell me they've got a roth Ira or
- 23:31Speaker 1: a four to one k. It's all in their properties.
- 23:33Speaker 1: It's all in their possessions, which is why they amass
- 23:36Speaker 1: so much of that. Yeah, but like when the money
- 23:38Speaker 1: starts going or there's lawsuit judgments and they've got to
- 23:41Speaker 1: pay out, like the money goes funny, Yeah, their whole
- 23:46Speaker 1: lives go down.
- 23:47Speaker 2: Oh for sure. And I can't wait. I can't wait
- 23:50Speaker 2: for that day. But I don't know if Robin thinks
- 23:52Speaker 2: that they that day will ever come.
- 23:54Speaker 1: You would have to be so shortsighted not to be
- 23:57Speaker 1: planning for that. That's you, ask me her.
- 23:59Speaker 2: I mean, she made the comment just this season, being like, well,
- 24:02Speaker 2: I just budgeted my money differently. Y'all just didn't budget
- 24:05Speaker 2: your shit well enough. That's why you don't got any ass.
- 24:08Speaker 1: But she cannot believe that, though right I think she does.
- 24:10Speaker 1: She cannot believe that.
- 24:12Speaker 2: I think she's huffed her own farts for so many
- 24:14Speaker 2: years that she really is.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Just I honestly, I feel like she's just trying to
- 24:19Speaker 1: lord shit over the other women, knowing that when they
- 24:22Speaker 1: watch that back, they're going to be in a rage.
- 24:24Speaker 1: I think that's why she says things like that. I
- 24:26Speaker 1: cannot actually believe that she would believe that she's a
- 24:30Speaker 1: budgeter when she came in with so much debt, I know,
- 24:33Speaker 1: and when she has amassed all of these things, and
- 24:35Speaker 1: now we've learned about the dolls, bitch.
- 24:37Speaker 2: I know about the dolls, bitch.
- 24:39Speaker 1: And so you're gonna tell me you're a good budgeter
- 24:40Speaker 1: and you just have better skills financially than these other
- 24:43Speaker 1: women who are thriving despite the fact that you rob
- 24:46Speaker 1: them blind.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Wild Wild Wild people think that they are the shit.
- 24:51Speaker 2: Like on that show Financial Audit on YouTube with Caleb Hammer.
- 24:54Speaker 2: I love that show because people go onto that show
- 24:58Speaker 2: and they're like, yeah, no, I think I'm totally fine,
- 25:00Speaker 2: and they have like hundreds upon hundreds of thousands of
- 25:02Speaker 2: dollars of debt or like I saw one episode where
- 25:04Speaker 2: somebody had like twenty different credit cards and they were
- 25:07Speaker 2: all maxed out and they're like, yeah, no, I think
- 25:08Speaker 2: I'm doing okay. Like I think I'm doing fine in
- 25:11Speaker 2: my life.
- 25:11Speaker 1: I don't know how to live under that kind of stress.
- 25:14Speaker 1: I know, like I once owed the irs, like some
- 25:18Speaker 1: thousands of dollars when I was married my second husband.
- 25:20Speaker 1: It's a long story, but like, I could not sleep
- 25:22Speaker 1: at night if anything woke me in the middle of
- 25:25Speaker 1: the night and I'm a light sleeper, bit, yeah, i
- 25:27Speaker 1: would be up, I would be cold, sweat, I would
- 25:29Speaker 1: be dreading. I would be in fear for my life.
- 25:32Speaker 1: In fear for my life. I'm very curious to see
- 25:36Speaker 1: what kind of debt to income ratio Cody and Robin have,
- 25:40Speaker 1: if what Nikki Haverstock reported that they had multiple loans
- 25:44Speaker 1: against the McMansion when they sold the mcmach and they
- 25:48Speaker 1: would have had to pay those loans back. So like,
- 25:50Speaker 1: how much liquidity do you actually have? How much debt?
- 25:52Speaker 2: What?
- 25:53Speaker 1: What are we working with here?
- 25:54Speaker 2: Oh my god, that's what we say every episode. I'm like, oh,
- 25:56Speaker 2: just give me the coins, Like I want an anonymous
- 26:00Speaker 2: raccoon to go and hack their bank accounts and not
- 26:04Speaker 2: like steal their money.
- 26:05Speaker 1: I just want to see do some doge auditing. Oh
- 26:07Speaker 1: my gosh, I'm not trying to be political at all.
- 26:10Speaker 1: I just get in there and look at the ledgers.
- 26:12Speaker 1: We look at where this money is going and how
- 26:14Speaker 1: it's coming in. Yes, it's the dolls, it's the.
- 26:18Speaker 2: Art, all of the kids watches, it's.
- 26:21Speaker 1: The jackets, it's the cars. They have so much of
- 26:24Speaker 1: this ship they going to have to start selling it
- 26:26Speaker 1: off unless they've unless they've prepared, and we just don't
- 26:29Speaker 1: know it.
- 26:30Speaker 2: That would be crazy. Like imagine if they had a
- 26:33Speaker 2: four oh one K that had hundreds of thousands of
- 26:35Speaker 2: dollars in it that they had just been sesshing off.
- 26:37Speaker 1: They should have multiple properties, they should have multiple streams
- 26:39Speaker 1: of income. I don't think that they do. They literally
- 26:42Speaker 1: only have TLC. I know, I'm going crazy, I know,
- 26:44Speaker 1: I know.
- 26:45Speaker 2: Yeah, but no, Like if they had a four one
- 26:46Speaker 2: k though from Janelle and Mary and Christine's money that
- 26:50Speaker 2: they were just using and siphoning off for a four
- 26:52Speaker 2: K for themselves, Like just imagine, this is why these
- 26:54Speaker 2: women need to sue the fuck out of that.
- 26:56Speaker 1: Yeah, you can't tell me if he's a fiduciary of
- 26:59Speaker 1: their fast LLC and he was siphoning off money from
- 27:03Speaker 1: the family LLC into their personal accounts. Like, you can't
- 27:07Speaker 1: tell me that there's not some sort of illegal action
- 27:09Speaker 1: that you can take. And I believe that's a criminal offense.
- 27:11Speaker 1: Like if you do that, I think you get in big,
- 27:13Speaker 1: big trouble. You can't tell me that there wasn't some
- 27:15Speaker 1: funny business that was going on there. We need to
- 27:18Speaker 1: have somebody do an audit of some kind. But you
- 27:19Speaker 1: just have these unmotivated women.
- 27:22Speaker 4: I know.
- 27:22Speaker 1: I'm so happy though, with my my new husband in Lehi,
- 27:27Speaker 1: and I'm just so happy with my tea farms. I'm
- 27:29Speaker 1: just so happy with my aunted being beat. No, no,
- 27:31Speaker 1: take these bitches to court these people in have an
- 27:35Speaker 1: audit done, yes, please for us. Oh my gosh, we
- 27:39Speaker 1: definitely went off on a tech. I apologize. No, Robin
- 27:42Speaker 1: sucks for sure.
- 27:42Speaker 2: Yeah, she's totally copying all of the women.
- 27:45Speaker 1: But is there like some sort of a mental disorder
- 27:47Speaker 1: where people mimic and mirror like there is actually nothing
- 27:52Speaker 1: beneath the surface. They're just constantly projecting what they're experiencing.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Isn't there some sort of a mental disorder that does that.
- 27:59Speaker 2: I think there is.
- 28:00Speaker 1: I don't know. It might be like sociopathy. It might
- 28:02Speaker 1: be some sort of a psychopathic pathology where you are
- 28:07Speaker 1: absolutely vacant and blank on the inside, like you don't
- 28:10Speaker 1: feel anything, you're not connected to anything, and so you
- 28:13Speaker 1: just wear the energetic skins of the people that you meet,
- 28:17Speaker 1: or that the people that you want to take advantage of.
- 28:19Speaker 1: I don't know what it is, but that's what Robin's got.
- 28:23Speaker 1: That's what Robin's got.
- 28:25Speaker 2: So anyway, thank you, Tanya. We love your messages. Yeah,
- 28:28Speaker 2: and then last one we have is from Bertie k Bertie.
- 28:31Speaker 1: Yeah, I love the name bird. That is really adorable.
- 28:35Speaker 5: Hey, beautiful raccoon, I'm calling from the dumpsterest dumpster state
- 28:40Speaker 5: of all can you guess it?
- 28:43Speaker 1: Oh? Hi?
- 28:45Speaker 5: Maybe not everyone feels that way, but I'll just say,
- 28:47Speaker 5: if you're starting an episode of My six hundred Pound
- 28:50Speaker 5: Life and the person is from Ohio, you're probably getting
- 28:53Speaker 5: the dumpster fire episode of your dreams. So there you go.
- 28:58Speaker 5: I listened to a lot different podcasts, and after listening
- 29:02Speaker 5: to You Ladies earlier today, I listened to an old
- 29:06Speaker 5: episode of a little bit culty by Sarah Edmondson and
- 29:10Speaker 5: her husband She they were both in the Nixium called
- 29:14Speaker 5: and So they interview people from high demand groups. And
- 29:16Speaker 5: I was listening to an episode on Mormonism from a
- 29:20Speaker 5: guide as doctor John, who does Mormon Stories, which I
- 29:24Speaker 5: haven't listened to, but he talked about his nonprofit group
- 29:28Speaker 5: called Drive has more Words, but if you search Mormon's
- 29:34Speaker 5: Stories and Thrive, it'll come up. And they do workshops
- 29:37Speaker 5: and retreats and it's vague. He called it a huge
- 29:40Speaker 5: money loser because it's really made to just help get
- 29:43Speaker 5: people together who have left Mormonism and need that support.
- 29:47Speaker 5: So I wonder if our friend Mary heard about this
- 29:52Speaker 5: group and decided to try to make it profitable by
- 29:55Speaker 5: charging people because jillion maajillion dollars to go to Disney
- 29:59Speaker 5: World together. But I thought since Ethel pointed out that
- 30:02Speaker 5: Robin's sister wife calls it sounded like a huge rip off,
- 30:06Speaker 5: I was like, Oh, maybe this is a ripoff too.
- 30:08Speaker 5: Let me know what you think.
- 30:09Speaker 1: Love you love you too, Yeah, have to co sign
- 30:13Speaker 1: that the biggest dumpster fires on my six hundred pound life.
- 30:16Speaker 1: They either come from Washington, yep. Lacey bitch, or they
- 30:20Speaker 1: come from Ohio. But then where were the assanties from?
- 30:24Speaker 1: They're like from New Jersey or something like that.
- 30:26Speaker 2: I think they were. Yeah, they were from Jersey.
- 30:27Speaker 1: But I mean there's just a lot of them in Ohio.
- 30:30Speaker 5: Yah.
- 30:30Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I get it.
- 30:33Speaker 1: Anyway, what do you think? What do you think of
- 30:34Speaker 1: her question?
- 30:35Speaker 2: I don't know much about the the strive thing that
- 30:38Speaker 2: she was talking first drive, I don't know. But what
- 30:43Speaker 2: else did she say?
- 30:44Speaker 1: Well, she's wondering if Mary is taking the blueprint of
- 30:49Speaker 1: whatever they're doing in the Thrive MLM motivational speaking space
- 30:53Speaker 1: and trying to make it her own in order to
- 30:56Speaker 1: profit off of it. Do we think that she's doing that?
- 30:58Speaker 2: Oh? Totally. I mean I don't know if it was
- 31:00Speaker 2: specifically this one from this Mormon guy, or if she
- 31:03Speaker 2: was just looking at people like Tony Robbins and all
- 31:05Speaker 2: these other motivational speakers and thinking like, yeah, I can
- 31:08Speaker 2: do that. I can tell people to worthy up and
- 31:10Speaker 2: I can make a lot of money. I mean, Mary
- 31:12Speaker 2: loves an MLM. She loves charging people and making money
- 31:16Speaker 2: off of that over bullshit. So but like we have said,
- 31:20Speaker 2: and like you've said before, like Mary probably had good
- 31:22Speaker 2: intentions starting worthy up. She probably did want to help people,
- 31:26Speaker 2: and that's all fine and dandy, but like, you have
- 31:29Speaker 2: no credentials, you have no qualifications, you haven't even worthied
- 31:31Speaker 2: about yourself, so like you're totally ripping people off. I
- 31:34Speaker 2: think she just looked at other motivational speakers and thought
- 31:37Speaker 2: she could do that too.
- 31:39Speaker 1: Yeah. I wouldn't be a bit surprised to me, though.
- 31:41Speaker 1: It's another illustration of how the Browns are kind of
- 31:45Speaker 1: always behind the eight ball because to me, like motivational
- 31:49Speaker 1: speak like Instagram, somebody telling you about like how to
- 31:52Speaker 1: manifest or how to change your life, that's so twenty
- 31:56Speaker 1: seventeen eighteen. If I was scrolling anywhere and I come
- 32:00Speaker 1: across like a real or a story with someone talking
- 32:03Speaker 1: in that way, I'm like, oh, shut the fuck up.
- 32:05Speaker 1: I am sick of it.
- 32:06Speaker 5: Fil it.
- 32:07Speaker 1: I've heard so much of this and it's so annoying
- 32:10Speaker 1: to me, and the theory therapy speak of it, it's
- 32:13Speaker 1: just really really annoying. And so people are doing different things.
- 32:17Speaker 1: They are disrupting the motivational space as it is right now,
- 32:21Speaker 1: and so Mary is using kind of this blueprint and
- 32:24Speaker 1: prototype and it's like already tired. Yeah, and I don't
- 32:27Speaker 1: think it's ever going to be truly successful. The only
- 32:30Speaker 1: level of success she's ever going to achieve is going
- 32:33Speaker 1: to be based on her minimal celebrity. And when that
- 32:36Speaker 1: goes away, then what are you going to do?
- 32:39Speaker 2: Right?
- 32:39Speaker 1: Do you have a rough irray? Do you have a
- 32:41Speaker 1: four to oh one? K? At least she's got a
- 32:43Speaker 1: property that she owns, she's got loans property. I hope
- 32:48Speaker 1: you're preparing for the inevitable end of Sister Wives and
- 32:52Speaker 1: your celebrity.
- 32:53Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know why she's not doing something
- 32:55Speaker 2: like Janelle and creating t shirts with slogans and stuff
- 32:59Speaker 2: and making money off of that, or writing a fucking
- 33:01Speaker 2: book like Christine is doing.
- 33:02Speaker 1: Like, yeah, she was the one that was supposed to
- 33:04Speaker 1: write the book. Oh my god, Christine, what a queen?
- 33:07Speaker 1: Move the book first?
- 33:10Speaker 2: Well, and I'm just saying Christine's book better be telling
- 33:13Speaker 2: some secrets and stuff, because if it's another like glossed
- 33:17Speaker 2: over look at their life and if it's all about
- 33:19Speaker 2: like her and David and there.
- 33:21Speaker 1: I'm going to be dragging her. If that's the case,
- 33:24Speaker 1: I'm going to.
- 33:24Speaker 2: Be annoyed by it. Like she really needs to start
- 33:27Speaker 2: telling some t. All these women need to start telling
- 33:29Speaker 2: some t I don't think we're gonna hear anything from Janelle,
- 33:31Speaker 2: because Janelle's pretty low key, like she's moved on, she's
- 33:35Speaker 2: on her flower farm, like she don't give no fucks.
- 33:37Speaker 2: Christine has potential to tell some t Mary has all
- 33:41Speaker 2: of the tea in the world. She's the first fucking
- 33:43Speaker 2: wife and was treated like shit from Cody, like she
- 33:47Speaker 2: could make so much money off here.
- 33:49Speaker 1: But now she has a conflict because now she's supposed
- 33:52Speaker 1: to be inspirational and motivational and toxic positivity, and so
- 33:56Speaker 1: why would she drag people and tell the awful, gritty,
- 34:00Speaker 1: terrible truth because that might run counter to what she's
- 34:03Speaker 1: trying to do out here. I think the next best
- 34:06Speaker 1: thing for Mary to do is like find a love
- 34:10Speaker 1: interest overseas and go ninety get catfish by somebody living
- 34:17Speaker 1: in Bulgaria, and then have the cameras pick up for
- 34:20Speaker 1: a ninety day fiance and follow your journey. I would
- 34:24Speaker 1: be oh my god, oh my god, getting activated and excited.
- 34:29Speaker 2: You should put that on.
- 34:31Speaker 1: You should put that on the vision board. That would
- 34:32Speaker 1: be great.
- 34:32Speaker 2: Who wouldn't follow that?
- 34:34Speaker 1: We would all follow that would.
- 34:36Speaker 2: Yes, especially if you got catfished again. Yes, I mean
- 34:39Speaker 2: I don't want to wish.
- 34:40Speaker 1: To No, of course not. But or if she was
- 34:42Speaker 1: the catfish, she.
- 34:44Speaker 2: Probably would be kind of like Rebecca and Zaid do
- 34:51Speaker 2: you remember filters, just.
- 34:55Speaker 1: Like they're still together though I know, ye together, Yeah,
- 34:59Speaker 1: but like that's an ur. I could see Oh totally
- 35:01Speaker 1: prolonging her celebrity, which might then funnel itself into her
- 35:05Speaker 1: motivational speaking business. But that business I don't personally, I
- 35:09Speaker 1: don't think is long for the world.
- 35:10Speaker 2: No.
- 35:10Speaker 1: I do think she saw a successful model that someone
- 35:13Speaker 1: else was using and is trying to adopt it for
- 35:15Speaker 1: her own because she doesn't have that creativity.
- 35:18Speaker 2: Yeah. I don't think Mary was as blatant in the
- 35:21Speaker 2: copying as Robin was, because Robin is just so unoriginal
- 35:24Speaker 2: and couldn't think of anything for herself besides the ball
- 35:28Speaker 2: sack jewelry. But she looked at somebody's website and copied
- 35:31Speaker 2: the entire fucking like format and everything.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Mary's kind of doing that.
- 35:36Speaker 2: Too, little bit, yeah, yeah, but.
- 35:39Speaker 1: Good observation though, yeah, thank you, thank you?
- 35:43Speaker 2: Does it all right?
- 35:43Speaker 4: Well?
- 35:45Speaker 1: If that's it, is there anything else that we should
- 35:48Speaker 1: be saying to these beautiful raccoons before we get up
- 35:50Speaker 1: on ata here.

- 36:08Speaker 1: And by the way, if you want to call in
