- 0:02Speaker 1: Apostle Femi Lazarus is a man raised by God to
- 0:06Speaker 1: demonstrate his wisdom and authority to the last day church.
- 0:10Speaker 1: He is the lead pastor of Sphere of Light Church
- 0:13Speaker 1: and God told him years ago that a time will
- 0:16Speaker 1: come where my wisdom will be needed to navigate tough
- 0:19Speaker 1: times in the body of Christ.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Then I will cause your voice to be heard.
- 0:25Speaker 1: And all who pay attention to my word on your
- 0:29Speaker 1: lips will not lack light and direction. He's a man
- 0:33Speaker 1: sent from God, sent to raise God's end time armies.
- 0:38Speaker 1: With Apostle Fermi Lazarus, every minute counts as you listen attentively.
- 0:47Speaker 3: When you say a thing, it comes to pass. There
- 0:51Speaker 3: is no searching of your wisdom. There is no searching
- 0:54Speaker 3: of your understanding. You are the most high God. We
- 0:59Speaker 3: return all praise to you. We return all glory to you.
- 1:04Speaker 3: In a moment, can we lift our hands and just
- 1:07Speaker 3: bless the name of the Lord. And I need us
- 1:10Speaker 3: to be deliberate about it. I need us to be
- 1:15Speaker 3: very deliberate about it. Come on, do so in a moment.
- 1:23Speaker 2: There's nobody like you, Lord.
- 1:28Speaker 3: There's nobody like you, Lord. There's nobody like you, Lord.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Let's take it two more times. Thank you.
- 3:16Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 3:56Speaker 5: Thank you, Lord.
- 4:09Speaker 4: Thank you, Lord.
- 4:13Speaker 2: We bless your holy name. Thank you, Lord.
- 4:19Speaker 3: In Jesus' mighty name, we are praying.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Amen. Let's put our hands together for Jesus. Amen. You
- 4:34Speaker 2: may please be seated. God bless you. Good morning church.
- 4:42Speaker 4: Okay.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Alright.
- 4:44Speaker 3: So today I'm going to be wrapping up and I
- 4:46Speaker 3: want us to please follow me keenly as we wrap
- 4:51Speaker 3: up this subject on dealing with the root of bitterness.
- 4:55Speaker 3: Let's turn our Bibles quickly to the book of Hebrews.
- 4:58Speaker 3: Hebrews chapter number 12. Hebrews chapter number 12. We start
- 5:12Speaker 3: the reading from verse 14. Hebrews 12 from verse 14.
- 5:20Speaker 2: If you are there, say amen. Amen.
- 5:25Speaker 3: Alright, follow peace with all men and holiness, without which
- 5:33Speaker 3: no man shall see the Lord. Looking diligently, lest any
- 5:39Speaker 3: man fail of the grace of God, lest any root
- 5:47Speaker 3: of bitterness springing up trouble you, thereby many be defiled.
- 5:54Speaker 3: And I want us to pay attention to that. It
- 5:56Speaker 3: is the one who is bitter that is troubled. That's
- 6:02Speaker 3: the logic.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Amen?
- 6:05Speaker 3: It is the one who is bitter that is troubled.
- 6:12Speaker 3: I took you from the roots. If you missed the
- 6:14Speaker 3: first teachings, you have to go back to it. That
- 6:18Speaker 3: to be bitter means to be coerced To lose every
- 6:24Speaker 3: sense of sweetness.
- 6:26Speaker 2: Towards a person. Towards a cause.
- 6:29Speaker 3: To become sharp. Sharp not in the. Not as precision.
- 6:37Speaker 3: But sharp to mean. Something that can cause injury.
- 6:42Speaker 2: You see. When you are hot.
- 6:51Speaker 5: Hot.
- 6:53Speaker 3: You just want justice. And sometimes it's not just justice,
- 7:00Speaker 3: but vengeance. A pound of flesh. There's this book we
- 7:05Speaker 3: read then, I think, Machant of Venice. Have you ever
- 7:09Speaker 3: read that book before?
- 7:11Speaker 2: Alright. Okay, Machant of Venice. You want a pound of flesh.
- 7:21Speaker 2: And in many cases... The offender is not even sorry
- 7:26Speaker 2: in many cases. You see that?
- 7:31Speaker 3: In fact, the offender considers it for you to think
- 7:35Speaker 3: it's a privilege for him to hurt you.
- 7:41Speaker 2: Let me tell you something. The reason why you have
- 7:43Speaker 2: to take it to your own soul is because not
- 7:46Speaker 2: all men are reasonable. You must understand that. Not all
- 7:51Speaker 2: men are reasonable. You can't afford to.
- 7:56Speaker 3: People hurt people because they are in pain themselves. How
- 8:05Speaker 3: will anybody who is normal take a girl and rape her?
- 8:15Speaker 3: The fellow is not fine. How will somebody who is
- 8:22Speaker 3: normal bring out a gun and shoot somebody in the head.
- 8:28Speaker 2: The failure is not fine. How will somebody who is
- 8:36Speaker 2: normal be rude?
- 8:40Speaker 3: Sometimes these actions are ways people used to ventilate. A
- 8:47Speaker 3: way of giving everyone around a measure of the pain
- 8:51Speaker 3: they are already running with.
- 8:52Speaker 2: You need to feel what I feel.
- 8:59Speaker 3: The policeman whose salary is not being paid regularly wants
- 9:03Speaker 3: the citizen to feel it. When you drive and they
- 9:12Speaker 3: ask you for money as a gentleman, you fail to
- 9:14Speaker 3: give as a gentleman, I say, pack.
- 9:17Speaker 2: And sometimes I just want to know I can't waste
- 9:19Speaker 2: your time. Because the person is not what? Fine. Fine.
- 9:29Speaker 3: What about in a marriage? Married with someone who is
- 9:34Speaker 3: a perpetual offender. One who doesn't see anything good in you.
- 9:44Speaker 3: Will even insult your family. How do you forgive people
- 9:49Speaker 3: who don't stop offending?
- 9:55Speaker 2: I have been dragged on many occasions. I've called many names.
- 10:01Speaker 2: But I really don't mind.
- 10:01Speaker 3: Let's read that Hebrews 12, 15 again. And I want
- 10:08Speaker 3: all of us to see it again. Hebrews 12, verse 15.
- 10:12Speaker 3: If you dare say amen.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Look at it. One, two, three, go.
- 10:16Speaker 5: Go.
- 10:16Speaker 3: Looking diligently, lest any man fail of the grace of God,
- 10:20Speaker 3: lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and
- 10:24Speaker 3: thereby many be defiled.
- 10:27Speaker 2: So bitterness is best killed at its root. And I'll
- 10:31Speaker 2: tell you how. So you say, what about the ones
- 10:38Speaker 2: we grew up with? The things... See, you know, sometimes
- 10:58Speaker 2: I put out something.
- 11:00Speaker 3: I see people come to the comment section and speak
- 11:02Speaker 3: like the junior brother of Jesus. You know, this life,
- 11:07Speaker 3: don't just do this. Let's just live the right as
- 11:09Speaker 3: a holy life. Let's just do this, this, this, that, that.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah. Do you know what rejection is?
- 11:26Speaker 3: Do you know what it means to go through life
- 11:28Speaker 3: and there's no one who has mirrored acceptance, including your
- 11:31Speaker 3: own blood? Do you know the tendencies that comes with it?
- 11:39Speaker 3: That in many cases, bitterness is not about forgiveness first.
- 11:42Speaker 3: It is about healing first. You have to heal. And
- 11:48Speaker 3: many times, let me tell you this, to heal from
- 11:50Speaker 3: the trouble a person has caused you, you have to
- 11:52Speaker 3: create distance. And that's what many don't want to hear.
- 11:57Speaker 3: You have to create distance. Sometimes you have to walk away.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Let me say this.
- 12:07Speaker 3: There are marriages that I am sorry cannot repair. And
- 12:11Speaker 3: as a pastor, I insist that it should not be
- 12:13Speaker 3: repaired with I'm sorry. there's a need for people to
- 12:17Speaker 3: sit down and ask questions. Why are you doing this
- 12:21Speaker 3: to your wife? Why are you doing this to your husband?
- 12:25Speaker 3: Why did you say this? Why did you say that?
- 12:30Speaker 3: Because there are people who don't even know what it
- 12:33Speaker 3: means at all, what people go through. Their emotions is numb.
- 12:37Speaker 3: For your own sake, move on. It is not for
- 12:44Speaker 3: their sake.
- 12:45Speaker 6: Move on.
- 12:46Speaker 3: The one who is locked in prison, the one who
- 12:49Speaker 3: is crying, the one who is shedding tears, the one
- 12:51Speaker 3: who is feeling the heat, is you. There are people
- 12:56Speaker 3: who are too battered to even know that you are bruised.
- 13:01Speaker 3: They are hurting you, but they too, they are not fine.
- 13:04Speaker 3: Their life is also meaningless. Don't allow any root of
- 13:14Speaker 3: bitterness spring up in you I.
- 13:20Speaker 2: Want to give very.
- 13:25Speaker 3: Simple but practical ways to undo bitterness.
- 13:33Speaker 2: Number one separate yourself from the curse.
- 13:40Speaker 3: Write it in capital letter separate yourself from the curse
- 13:45Speaker 3: There are families that you have to, as a child,
- 13:48Speaker 3: travel far from. In fact, you cannot even have a
- 13:53Speaker 3: good marriage if you marry from that home to your
- 13:57Speaker 3: own spouse's house. You cannot have a good marriage. There
- 14:02Speaker 3: are places that you have to first go far.
- 14:08Speaker 2: Are you with me? And be treated well.
- 14:14Speaker 3: If you put somebody in a cage where there are
- 14:16Speaker 3: snakes and the snakes track, you can't treat the person
- 14:19Speaker 3: in the midst of the snakes. You take the person
- 14:21Speaker 3: out and remove the venom. Love is a commandment. The
- 14:26Speaker 3: distance was not specified. So there are times that you
- 14:31Speaker 3: have to love from afar. I love you, but proximity
- 14:37Speaker 3: will injure both of us. I'm not saying don't restore fellowship.
- 14:41Speaker 2: I love you sincerely.
- 14:45Speaker 3: But if there will be someone that will rise from
- 14:47Speaker 3: this home to change the narrative, it cannot be somebody
- 14:49Speaker 3: who is a part of the problem.
- 14:53Speaker 2: So there are times to detach. You know, people just
- 14:58Speaker 2: talk about things.
- 14:59Speaker 3: You know, people shout, you know, mouth now is mouth.
- 15:05Speaker 3: You know, there is a way you commend on an issue.
- 15:07Speaker 3: You have just said, let me go through what they
- 15:09Speaker 3: went through. So when next we make a post about it,
- 15:13Speaker 3: you keep quiet. See, me, the way I am, I
- 15:18Speaker 3: am wired with forgiveness. No, that is natural. There are
- 15:21Speaker 3: situations that will exhaust that natural one, that you will
- 15:24Speaker 3: not need divine strength to know what we are talking about. See, me,
- 15:32Speaker 3: I'm naturally a patient person. That's my nature. I don't
- 15:39Speaker 3: cause trouble. Have you seen where they exhaust patient people?
- 15:45Speaker 3: And something speak within you.
- 15:47Speaker 2: After one hour. You say, eh? Was I the one
- 15:50Speaker 2: who just....
- 15:54Speaker 3: When the Bible talks about Galatians 5, the fruit of
- 15:57Speaker 3: the Spirit, love, patience, gentleness. None of those things is
- 16:01Speaker 3: a natural fruit. It is the fruit of a mature,
- 16:04Speaker 3: regenerated spirit. It is that gentleness there. He's not that
- 16:09Speaker 3: one that I don't need to talk in class. I
- 16:10Speaker 3: want the right noise maker. They don't write my name.
- 16:13Speaker 3: Are you following what I'm saying? That's not the gentleness.
- 16:27Speaker 3: Let me not talk. Let me tell you this.
- 16:37Speaker 2: You can....
- 16:41Speaker 3: Even Joseph, that his brother sold, the guy, the moment
- 16:48Speaker 3: God lifted him, he didn't say, go and look for demo.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Not because he was a bad guy.
- 16:56Speaker 3: There are times that you need time and deliberate approach
- 17:01Speaker 3: to heal. Then there can be restoration. This kind of
- 17:05Speaker 3: restoration is not a five-second steno. And let me say
- 17:10Speaker 3: this to you. If you are going through a healing
- 17:11Speaker 3: process and you are sincerely praying to God for your
- 17:14Speaker 3: mind and soul to heal your emotions so that there
- 17:17Speaker 3: can be a restoration of affection in certain places, the
- 17:20Speaker 3: fact that it is taking time doesn't mean you are
- 17:23Speaker 3: a bad person. Sometimes the depth of the injury is deep.
- 17:29Speaker 3: But make sure between you and God, heal. Are you
- 17:38Speaker 3: following what I'm saying here?
- 17:40Speaker 2: You can imagine, let's say for instance, a father hates
- 17:45Speaker 2: his daughter. Hates her so bad. Now the girl is married.
- 17:52Speaker 2: And the hatred won't still stop. Or the boy now.
- 17:54Speaker 3: And you are finding a way to still bring that
- 17:56Speaker 3: same toxic mentality and inject into this woman, scatter it.
- 18:00Speaker 1: No, no, no.
- 18:00Speaker 3: There are times that you have to say, I love
- 18:02Speaker 3: you sincerely, but distance is a must. Let me tell
- 18:05Speaker 3: you something. For some of you, preparing for marriage is
- 18:09Speaker 3: not just preparing in character.
- 18:11Speaker 2: No, no.
- 18:11Speaker 3: Preparing for marriage is to treat certain family members that
- 18:14Speaker 3: there's a gap. There are some of you, if you
- 18:18Speaker 3: don't start building that now, your home will become worse
- 18:21Speaker 3: than the dysfunctionality you grew from.
- 18:25Speaker 2: It is you growing up and every blessed day.
- 18:29Speaker 3: Of your life choosing to live by example. This is
- 18:31Speaker 3: the boundary. There are homes that mother-in-law came for and
- 18:39Speaker 3: that's the end of peace in that home. Just one statement,
- 18:43Speaker 3: they never knew peace again. There are times that distance
- 18:47Speaker 3: is a must, but love is compulsive. Is that okay now? See,
- 18:51Speaker 3: let me tell you this. Don't overrate yourself.
- 18:55Speaker 2: No, no, I can't take it. I can't take it.
- 18:57Speaker 3: No, that's how you have been taking it and now
- 18:59Speaker 3: you have gone bad. The whole thing you are taking
- 19:03Speaker 3: is becoming cancers in your heart. You are not fine anymore.
- 19:08Speaker 3: You are not Superman. You are not Superman. Detach yourself.
- 19:13Speaker 2: Heal. Come back.
- 19:15Speaker 3: And there are times that where to come back to
- 19:18Speaker 3: is bad, so we keep it from afar, but I
- 19:20Speaker 3: love you. When we get to heaven, we'll both find
- 19:22Speaker 3: out how we love each other, but we cannot.
- 19:29Speaker 3: Are you following what I'm saying here? Forgiveness is a must.
- 19:39Speaker 3: But there are times to start with what?
- 19:41Speaker 2: Distance.
- 19:42Speaker 3: Number two, shut the door to every unnecessary knowledge. let
- 19:49Speaker 3: me use that word there are certain knowledge um that
- 19:55Speaker 3: is not necessary there are things you don't need to
- 19:58Speaker 3: know about um apostles you need to see there's this
- 20:03Speaker 3: man of god i hate you so much it's none.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Of my business Maybe the... What I've not really heard
- 20:14Speaker 2: people say they hate is water.
- 20:19Speaker 3: But it will amaze you that people would say, I
- 20:20Speaker 3: don't just like water. If you don't like water, who
- 20:22Speaker 3: am I? Apostle Lazarus, you need to see what this
- 20:25Speaker 3: person is saying about you. It is none of my
- 20:27Speaker 3: what business. You don't need certain knowledge. You don't need it.
- 20:36Speaker 2: You don't need it. You don't need certain explanation. Let
- 20:41Speaker 2: me explain. No, no, let me say my part. No, no, no.
- 20:44Speaker 2: Even your explanation will trap you.
- 20:46Speaker 3: Look at what the Bible says in the book of
- 20:49Speaker 3: Proverbs chapter number 26 verse 20. Proverbs 26 verse 20.
- 21:00Speaker 2: Look at this. Can we read this together? One, two, three, go.
- 21:03Speaker 3: Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out. So
- 21:07Speaker 3: where there is no tailbearer, strive, cease. Can you give
- 21:12Speaker 3: me this in message translation?
- 21:14Speaker 2: It will shock you. Message. Now look at it. One, two, three, go.
- 21:22Speaker 3: The fire goes out. When the gossip ends, the quarrel dies.
- 21:27Speaker 3: Sometimes you know too much. And it's a sign that
- 21:33Speaker 3: you too, you have a problem. You are searching people's
- 21:37Speaker 3: phone to see what have they said about me?
- 21:39Speaker 2: What did they type? What was this person saying? What
- 21:42Speaker 2: does she feel about me?
- 21:44Speaker 3: Usually that is because your self-perception is weak. And your
- 21:51Speaker 3: self-esteem is battered. So, let me tell you this. There
- 21:56Speaker 3: is a way you feel fly when people praise you.
- 21:58Speaker 3: The devil is also aware that you can be destroyed
- 22:01Speaker 3: through criticism.
- 22:04Speaker 2: Oh, Apostle Lazarus, amazing man! It's your business. It's your business.
- 22:10Speaker 2: Because my topic tomorrow can deal with you. So it's
- 22:12Speaker 2: your business. It's your business. I just like him. You
- 22:16Speaker 2: better be careful. You better be. No, he's the truth.
- 22:22Speaker 2: So even myself, I'm not sure what I think about
- 22:25Speaker 2: myself like that. I just like him. He's so cool.
- 22:28Speaker 2: Be careful.
- 22:29Speaker 3: Because we are dealing with fundamental issues. If you are
- 22:32Speaker 3: found as a culprit, the message will deal with it.
- 22:35Speaker 6: Oh, yes.
- 22:36Speaker 3: I've seen women, I jack my teaching, I use those
- 22:38Speaker 3: con men till the day I face women.
- 22:43Speaker 2: And I think it's becoming a pattern now.
- 22:44Speaker 3: Some people went to take my message and say, hey,
- 22:47Speaker 3: he's talking to this political person.
- 22:48Speaker 2: He's saying he's sweeping. He's people's business. The day to
- 22:53Speaker 2: attack you too.
- 22:57Speaker 3: Let me tell you, any system that you see strife inside,
- 23:03Speaker 3: somebody is empowering gossips. And you hear they said this,
- 23:10Speaker 3: they said that, this one said this about that, this one.
- 23:13Speaker 3: You cannot live your life like that. There will be
- 23:15Speaker 3: pain in your house. One of the things God has
- 23:23Speaker 3: taught me to deal with my heart, listen to what
- 23:25Speaker 3: I'm saying, is to.
- 23:27Speaker 2: Be careful what my conclusion is about people.
- 23:30Speaker 3: You cannot be bitter towards a person until your conclusion
- 23:33Speaker 3: is bad. So when people are doing things, the devil
- 23:38Speaker 3: is trying to attack your conclusion. He's trying to give
- 23:40Speaker 3: you perspective about the person. The moment you conclude this
- 23:44Speaker 3: person is bad, there's nothing good the person can do again.
- 23:49Speaker 2: And you believe.
- 23:50Speaker 3: Sometimes we believe gossip about people because the gossip seems
- 23:54Speaker 3: to partner with our hatred towards them. Somebody that you
- 23:58Speaker 3: already hate. They now say, you.
- 24:01Speaker 2: Know, I really don't mind. I really don't mind.
- 24:07Speaker 3: You know, there are people who are believing and waiting
- 24:12Speaker 3: that say, all these fair of light church, all these
- 24:15Speaker 3: everywhere will scatter now for where?
- 24:21Speaker 2: Lazarus, see, let me tell you something.
- 24:25Speaker 3: If you are going to live a life as one
- 24:26Speaker 3: who carries God's glory, you must get your heart. The
- 24:31Speaker 3: Bible said, not with a part of diligence, with all diligence.
- 24:36Speaker 2: That is, it is.
- 24:37Speaker 3: Important what enters. It is important what can form perspective.
- 24:41Speaker 3: It is important what can color your view. It is
- 24:44Speaker 3: important how you see people. It is important. There are
- 24:49Speaker 3: times I wake up in.
- 24:50Speaker 2: The night and I keep telling myself, this person is
- 24:52Speaker 2: a good person. I don't care.
- 24:54Speaker 3: This person is good. This person is good. I will
- 24:56Speaker 3: walk with this person. This person is nice. This person
- 24:58Speaker 3: is kind.
- 24:59Speaker 2: Because, listen to what I'm saying, the root, the seed
- 25:02Speaker 2: of thought is words.
- 25:03Speaker 5: Words.
- 25:04Speaker 2: I need to speak to myself to hear it.
- 25:06Speaker 3: For my mind to know that I refuse to partner
- 25:09Speaker 3: with the devil.
- 25:10Speaker 2: In believing that this person is bad.
- 25:14Speaker 3: Before you know it, every good people that can change
- 25:16Speaker 3: your life has been walked out of your life.
- 25:18Speaker 2: It is a pattern. It is a pattern where you
- 25:21Speaker 2: see small things. Once I go see small things, I'm
- 25:23Speaker 2: done with you. See small things, I'm done with this person.
- 25:25Speaker 2: Small things, I'm done. Before you know it, there's no
- 25:27Speaker 2: one in your life that God can use to help you.
- 25:33Speaker 2: Be careful. Be careful. Just cut off, cut off.
- 25:35Speaker 3: There's something called emotional intelligence. That you have to learn
- 25:40Speaker 3: to build coping mechanism with people. Are you following what
- 25:44Speaker 3: I'm saying there? What did I call it? Coping mechanism.
- 25:56Speaker 3: You will have to inform yourself. Nobody will do it
- 25:59Speaker 3: for you. That I choose to see this person as good.
- 26:07Speaker 3: If not, the little party you have will be over
- 26:12Speaker 3: in no time. And you wonder, why can't we greet
- 26:16Speaker 3: each other again? Sometimes the problem is not even the issue.
- 26:21Speaker 3: Sometimes it is the gossip that follows. What makes many
- 26:26Speaker 3: relationships irreconcilable is not even the matter.
- 26:30Speaker 2: It is those who are cashing out on the matter.
- 26:33Speaker 3: Those who have been waiting for this matter to come
- 26:35Speaker 3: and let me tell you this, Anyone who gossip to
- 26:38Speaker 3: you about people will gossip to people about you. It
- 26:41Speaker 3: is a matter of time. A gossip is a gossip.
- 26:44Speaker 3: Today they have this side, tomorrow they have that side.
- 26:48Speaker 3: Somebody said, when you sell your neighbor's cheap, even the
- 26:50Speaker 3: buyer won't trust you. They should not trust you. Are
- 26:56Speaker 3: you following what I'm saying here? Somebody, maybe you just
- 27:02Speaker 3: went to me, Pastor Mimi, I said, Pastor Mimi, you
- 27:05Speaker 3: won't believe me.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Say what? Say, Aposu. We need to see what we saw.
- 27:11Speaker 2: Let me share a story with you. I don't even know.
- 27:14Speaker 2: I heard it. I can't remember who shared it with me.
- 27:17Speaker 3: Somebody took her husband-to-be, took the man to the family house, said,
- 27:22Speaker 3: this is the place I want to marry. Everybody celebrated, oh,
- 27:26Speaker 3: you are welcome, our in-law, blah, blah, blah. Later, that night,
- 27:34Speaker 3: our closest friend messaged the guy, are you aware that
- 27:39Speaker 3: the girl you want to marry has a child?
- 27:44Speaker 2: Is that the person you want to marry? The guy said,
- 27:49Speaker 2: describe the child. Male. How tall? This tall.
- 27:52Speaker 3: The guy said, thank you, that's my child. Who are
- 28:06Speaker 3: the people you have lost in your life? Not because
- 28:08Speaker 3: of what they did, but because of what you heard from.
- 28:11Speaker 2: A tale bearer.
- 28:14Speaker 3: That's why I'm, see, our world, people, people, people are
- 28:20Speaker 3: more brutal than the devil.
- 28:24Speaker 2: God forgives, but we say the internet doesn't forgive. Who
- 28:27Speaker 2: are those on the internet?
- 28:32Speaker 3: If God brings out somebody from nightclub now, that they
- 28:36Speaker 3: know this person as somebody who is a professional, whatever
- 28:38Speaker 3: you call it now. And this person is out and
- 28:41Speaker 3: serving God. Who are those who first caused the person now?
- 28:44Speaker 2: People.
- 28:44Speaker 3: The same people who need forgiveness will not give it.
- 28:51Speaker 3: God brought somebody.
- 28:52Speaker 2: Let me ask you a question. Let me check your weight.
- 28:56Speaker 3: If somebody comes out now as a pastor and say
- 29:00Speaker 3: to you, I used to be a gay.
- 29:03Speaker 2: But now have repented. Can you disciple the person? And say, ah, ah.
- 29:12Speaker 3: The kind of people I've discipled, the worst case I've
- 29:16Speaker 3: dealt with, somebody who is dealing with immorality, but this
- 29:18Speaker 3: one now, ah, ah.
- 29:23Speaker 2: You see that now.
- 29:24Speaker 3: While you need the forgiveness of God, there are people
- 29:27Speaker 3: you have also concluded that are irredeemable.
- 29:30Speaker 2: It is the nature of our world.
- 29:32Speaker 3: And we bear tales about there are people who right
- 29:35Speaker 3: now are almost miserable. Not because of what they did.
- 29:39Speaker 3: But for whom most people are spreading about. Do you
- 29:42Speaker 3: know that guy? Do you know that guy? He's such
- 29:44Speaker 3: a very stupid guy. You need to hear him once
- 29:47Speaker 3: to know how notorious he is. He's one of the
- 29:49Speaker 3: worst human beings I've met.
- 29:50Speaker 2: And so I say it's true.
- 29:52Speaker 3: Check what happens to your heart when you hear people
- 29:55Speaker 3: say things about other people.
- 29:57Speaker 2: Check your conclusions.
- 29:59Speaker 3: If your conclusions believe that those people are so, without
- 30:02Speaker 3: hearing their parts, number one, that is one of the
- 30:05Speaker 3: acid tests of foolishness.
- 30:11Speaker 2: It is one of the what? Acid tests of what?
- 30:15Speaker 2: There are people who want to, a girl, they like
- 30:19Speaker 2: the girl.
- 30:21Speaker 3: Until their friend comes to say, that girl, we have
- 30:24Speaker 3: slept with the girl. then the same friend likes the
- 30:27Speaker 3: girl and go and marry the girl. Be careful of
- 30:32Speaker 3: tail bearers. Be careful of getting information about things that
- 30:38Speaker 3: is none of your business. There are people who are
- 30:40Speaker 3: so inquisitive. They want to know what everybody is saying
- 30:42Speaker 3: about them. What are they thinking about me? What should
- 30:46Speaker 3: she say? There are organizations that have been destroyed with
- 30:50Speaker 3: tail bearers. They employed one employee... We now have rumors
- 30:56Speaker 3: about everyone just so that the person can take their position.
- 31:00Speaker 2: Let me tell you this.
- 31:02Speaker 3: Nobody can successfully gossip in your organization until they have
- 31:08Speaker 3: seen that you have low service team. Every gossip cash
- 31:12Speaker 3: out on your low service team because for you to
- 31:15Speaker 3: believe what they are saying, the gossip will have to
- 31:16Speaker 3: first massage your own ego. I have seen that you
- 31:23Speaker 3: are a good master. I've never sat under a boss
- 31:25Speaker 3: that is as kind as you.
- 31:26Speaker 2: Yeah, just a suit.
- 31:29Speaker 3: I say, if not for yesterday night, you need to
- 31:31Speaker 3: hear what I saw Nick say, what they said you are.
- 31:35Speaker 3: I was wondering, is this my boss? This is the
- 31:37Speaker 3: man I've sat with. I know him to be a
- 31:38Speaker 3: good man. Right now, the man is thinking about to
- 31:41Speaker 3: write resignation letter and tell the girl to resign for
- 31:46Speaker 3: something that he has not seen the sign in her life.
- 31:52Speaker 3: Are there no homes that have been destroyed because of what?
- 31:55Speaker 3: You now believe an outsider over your own spouse. Somebody said,
- 32:00Speaker 3: we saw your wife, this, this, that. Say, my God,
- 32:03Speaker 3: I know she's a very useless woman. And when people
- 32:09Speaker 3: see that you don't really love your spouse, they will
- 32:10Speaker 3: destroy your meat, both of you, they will. They will
- 32:14Speaker 3: come in, they will ravage the both of you and
- 32:17Speaker 3: mess you up. There are people who need to divide
- 32:19Speaker 3: your home to spoil it. They wear you of tailbearers.
- 32:25Speaker 3: When you take away wood, the fire goes out. It
- 32:28Speaker 3: will remove gossips in any environment. The strife will cease.
- 32:33Speaker 2: Be careful. Number three now. How do you deal with bitterness? Forgive. Forgive.
- 32:45Speaker 2: This is.
- 32:54Speaker 2: This is a very.
- 32:56Speaker 3: Sensitive word, to forgive. Everybody lift up your right hand
- 33:00Speaker 3: and say, I forgive today. So, Pastor Tumishe, please come.
- 33:08Speaker 3: So what does he mean to forgive? Nakale, please stand
- 33:14Speaker 3: behind him. I want to release the anointing.
- 33:18Speaker 2: Now, look at this. Is your pastor, if he falls down.
- 33:23Speaker 3: So let me show you what it means to forgive.
- 33:24Speaker 3: I want to release the anointing. So I'm going unintentionally.
- 33:28Speaker 2: I bruised him. You see that now.
- 33:32Speaker 3: He looks at me. Can't you see what you have done?
- 33:34Speaker 3: I say, that's the business of the king of your village.
- 33:37Speaker 3: Go and tell the king of your village that I
- 33:39Speaker 3: pushed you.
- 33:40Speaker 2: Nonsense. Get out of my sight. To look at this
- 33:44Speaker 2: person and say, just go. That's maturity. That's maturity.
- 33:52Speaker 3: It takes having a divine nature to have the opportunity
- 33:57Speaker 3: to retaliate and choose to say go. That you forgive
- 34:03Speaker 3: doesn't mean you are weak. It means you understand something
- 34:06Speaker 3: the offender doesn't understand.
- 34:10Speaker 2: Listen to what I'm saying.
- 34:11Speaker 3: That you forgive doesn't mean the offender has changed. That
- 34:15Speaker 3: you forgive doesn't mean the offender has repented. That you
- 34:19Speaker 3: forgive doesn't mean that the offender will not repeat it.
- 34:24Speaker 3: So I see stories like, how do I forgive a
- 34:26Speaker 3: man who keep hurting me? Let me tell you something.
- 34:31Speaker 3: If I come this first time, like I did the
- 34:33Speaker 3: other time, and I push him, he falls, stand again.
- 34:37Speaker 3: I come again the second time, I push him again,
- 34:40Speaker 3: he falls. I come again the third time, I push
- 34:43Speaker 3: him again, he falls. Who is the fool here?
- 34:45Speaker 2: Him. You know why?
- 34:48Speaker 3: You must get away from the level where you can
- 34:51Speaker 3: be emotionally reached.
- 34:53Speaker 2: Let me tell you what that means.
- 34:55Speaker 3: What that means is, if you will not stop doing this,
- 34:58Speaker 3: I choose to outgrow you.
- 35:01Speaker 2: How do I outgrow you?
- 35:02Speaker 3: Keep doing what you are doing, but you will not
- 35:04Speaker 3: meet the same perpetual go back and cry. I now
- 35:07Speaker 3: understand that you must have a problem to be like this.
- 35:12Speaker 3: Somebody is talking to you and talking you down in
- 35:15Speaker 3: a way that wants to bring out pain and poison
- 35:17Speaker 3: from you. You must learn to see the person for
- 35:21Speaker 3: who they are. This is what you want to bring
- 35:26Speaker 3: out of me. Because I know if you are too
- 35:28Speaker 3: much in pain, you will not see beyond the smoke screen.
- 35:34Speaker 3: Talking you down. Talking you down. Do you know how
- 35:37Speaker 3: foolish you are? How stupid you are? How condescending your
- 35:40Speaker 3: behavior is? How dis, how unwise, how blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 35:49Speaker 3: This is what you want. That I will always sit
- 35:52Speaker 3: down here and sulk and cry You want to have
- 35:56Speaker 3: a man or a woman who is deranged and broken.
- 36:00Speaker 3: Since you have refused to change, I'll get out of
- 36:03Speaker 3: that zone where you can do that. Come back and
- 36:05Speaker 3: talk again, but it's not the same old me you
- 36:07Speaker 3: will meet. You are still saying the same word. There
- 36:16Speaker 3: comes a time that, let me tell you, people who
- 36:21Speaker 3: curse and talk people down with words, what hurts them
- 36:24Speaker 3: the most is to see that you are not hurt.
- 36:28Speaker 2: Are you not the one I'm talking to? You mean
- 36:30Speaker 2: all the things I'm saying?
- 36:31Speaker 3: You are looking at me as if a dog is barking?
- 36:34Speaker 2: What are they saying?
- 36:35Speaker 3: I'm pressing a sensor, trying to get an emotion from you.
- 36:39Speaker 3: Why are you not giving me? You used to be
- 36:41Speaker 3: my proprietor. I know the key to press, and you
- 36:43Speaker 3: break down. If they will not stop pressing that key,
- 36:45Speaker 3: they refuse to break down. Every time the person, you
- 36:52Speaker 3: know what they're about to do. You know what they're
- 36:54Speaker 3: about to say. Toxic things, painful things.
- 36:58Speaker 2: Outgrow them. I shared my story with you.
- 37:05Speaker 3: A woman was, ought to be the most all my life,
- 37:07Speaker 3: called me for 16 minutes, was raining curses as a teenager.
- 37:12Speaker 3: I was saying things. I removed the phone from my
- 37:15Speaker 3: ears and placed it on my bed. When she was
- 37:19Speaker 3: done by herself, I'm sure she must have said, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello,
- 37:23Speaker 3: network on, I don't care. She ended it herself. So
- 37:26Speaker 3: I called her back after about an hour. And I
- 37:29Speaker 3: said to her, I said, I know the reason why
- 37:32Speaker 3: you are shouting. And I know the reason why you
- 37:35Speaker 3: are talking and saying the things you are saying. I
- 37:37Speaker 3: said to her, you are afraid of me.
- 37:41Speaker 2: Yeah, what do you mean?
- 37:41Speaker 3: I said, you are afraid of me. I said, you
- 37:46Speaker 3: know that the hand of God is upon my life
- 37:49Speaker 3: and it will lift me up. And you are afraid
- 37:51Speaker 3: that I will remember all the things you have done
- 37:53Speaker 3: since I was growing and I will afflict your children.
- 37:55Speaker 3: But you don't know who I am. I love you
- 37:57Speaker 3: and I love them with my entire life. The woman
- 38:00Speaker 3: broke down in tears. That is what it means to
- 38:03Speaker 3: take your emotions away from rich. Outgrow them. And you
- 38:06Speaker 3: see that they are children. I know with all these things,
- 38:09Speaker 3: I'm somebody saying, but this person must answer his case
- 38:12Speaker 3: before God.
- 38:13Speaker 2: That is between him and God. But guess what?
- 38:15Speaker 3: The same way you repented, understand though, the same blood
- 38:19Speaker 3: that saved you is on ground.
- 38:19Speaker 2: To save him.
- 38:21Speaker 3: And it is in God's interest that he will not
- 38:22Speaker 3: go to hell. Are you following what I'm saying here?
- 38:25Speaker 3: So that you will not say, I forgive you, but
- 38:27Speaker 3: I'm waiting for you in eternity. See, I forgive you,
- 38:35Speaker 3: I forgive you, but I will see him born in hell.
- 38:38Speaker 3: So one day I'm going to stand at the bosom
- 38:40Speaker 3: of Abraham and see him cry for water. My brother,
- 38:45Speaker 3: you have not forgiven. You have not forgiven. Let me
- 38:52Speaker 3: tell you this. Forgiveness is not complete until you no
- 38:58Speaker 3: longer want the person to go through the kind of
- 39:00Speaker 3: pain you went through.
- 39:04Speaker 2: It is a deep matter. Think of the biggest pain
- 39:09Speaker 2: right now in your life.
- 39:11Speaker 3: All the things you remember that followed you from your
- 39:14Speaker 3: childhood stage down to adulthood. The statements they said about you.
- 39:19Speaker 3: How they said the shape of your head was. How
- 39:21Speaker 3: they called you a witch. How they called you different names.
- 39:24Speaker 3: How you went to a pastor who prayed for your
- 39:27Speaker 3: family and singled you out and said, this one I'm
- 39:30Speaker 3: your children is a witch. How one particular uncle that
- 39:33Speaker 3: the family trusted will open your clothes at night and
- 39:36Speaker 3: try to touch you.
- 39:37Speaker 2: Remember all those pains that affected.
- 39:40Speaker 3: The way you perceive men, the way you see life,
- 39:42Speaker 3: the way you see people.
- 39:43Speaker 2: Remember!
- 39:44Speaker 3: Put your fenders side by side with the pain in
- 39:47Speaker 3: your mind right now. You know one thing about the
- 39:50Speaker 3: mind is, whatever it is you think about, the flood
- 39:54Speaker 3: of emotion that comes with it comes also. So you
- 39:59Speaker 3: look at that person, you are boiling in your heart.
- 40:02Speaker 3: And then this year has gone by, everybody still call
- 40:04Speaker 3: this person daddy. But nobody knows this person is a predator.
- 40:07Speaker 3: Put the person side by side now in your mind.
- 40:11Speaker 3: And say, true Christ, that strengthens me.
- 40:15Speaker 2: I forgive you.
- 40:17Speaker 3: The person may see God falling and say, useless child,
- 40:20Speaker 3: how are you? The version of me that will be
- 40:24Speaker 3: hurt died yesterday. Are there forgiveness that comes with tears?
- 40:30Speaker 3: I tell you, there are forgiveness that takes weeks.
- 40:33Speaker 2: You will cry. So you will now begin to see
- 40:36Speaker 2: how deeply rooted you are.
- 40:38Speaker 3: Have you seen where somebody has boil and they are
- 40:41Speaker 3: trying to get out the boss? That is how it
- 40:43Speaker 3: is when you are trying to get out pain from
- 40:45Speaker 3: your mind. Something really bad is going on there. You see,
- 40:54Speaker 3: there are people who are not worthy of forgiveness. You
- 40:57Speaker 3: forgive them not because they are worthy of it. You
- 41:00Speaker 3: forgive them because... You have to forgive them their trespasses
- 41:04Speaker 3: even after your father who is in heaven forgives you also.
- 41:10Speaker 2: When will you be free from that prison? They are
- 41:12Speaker 2: not the ones inside. It is you.
- 41:17Speaker 3: Unfortunately, many of these people are so insensitive that every
- 41:21Speaker 3: blessed day they don't even think about your existence and
- 41:24Speaker 3: they still go about hurting others. You get out of
- 41:27Speaker 3: that prison for your own sake. But if you know,
- 41:34Speaker 3: listen to what I'm saying. If you have an idea
- 41:38Speaker 3: of what people have had to endure. A woman is
- 41:46Speaker 3: there knowing that the husband is eating on her best friend.
- 41:50Speaker 3: And the best friend will still greet her. Knowing that
- 41:53Speaker 3: the husband is trying to sleep with the younger sister.
- 41:56Speaker 3: And she keeps it in her heart.
- 41:58Speaker 2: Knowing that the man is trying to do this and
- 42:00Speaker 2: she's wondering.
- 42:03Speaker 3: You say, how do I forgive such kind of man?
- 42:05Speaker 2: This man has made me a bitter woman. He has
- 42:08Speaker 2: made me deranged.
- 42:09Speaker 3: Or a woman who has never honored her husband, not
- 42:12Speaker 3: for a day in her life. When she look at him,
- 42:16Speaker 3: all she sees is a man she wants to hurt.
- 42:20Speaker 3: He reminds her of all the pain and the agony
- 42:23Speaker 3: she has been through. And the man is saying, if
- 42:25Speaker 3: I'm your husband, where's my honor? But honor can't flow
- 42:28Speaker 3: where there's pain. Some of you will need to call
- 42:36Speaker 3: people today.
- 42:38Speaker 2: Today. And say, I forgive you. The response is useless.
- 42:43Speaker 2: What do you mean?
- 42:44Speaker 3: You see this momo, you still say you didn't forgive me.
- 42:47Speaker 3: Who do you say you be now?
- 42:49Speaker 2: Say, don't worry. I forgive you. Just go. You are
- 42:56Speaker 2: the victim, not me. I let go.
- 43:01Speaker 3: You can never truly heal. until you take that step
- 43:05Speaker 3: of forgiveness. And sometimes to seal it up, you have
- 43:08Speaker 3: to tell the person to their face, I forgive you.
- 43:14Speaker 3: Some children will have to go and look at their
- 43:15Speaker 3: father and say, for the pain you have caused me
- 43:18Speaker 3: and all my younger ones, for the pain you have
- 43:21Speaker 3: caused my mother, I forgive you. Some children will have
- 43:25Speaker 3: to go and tell their mother, for abandoning us, for
- 43:28Speaker 3: all the things you have done. For all the things, this, this,
- 43:31Speaker 3: the way you were not there, the way you hated
- 43:33Speaker 3: me in particular, I forgive you. God wants them to
- 43:38Speaker 3: live a good life. While God is busy on your matter,
- 43:42Speaker 3: he's also busy on their matter.
- 43:44Speaker 2: He's trying to find, and.
- 43:45Speaker 3: Many times, the fellow who began this bitterness is not
- 43:48Speaker 3: even them.
- 43:49Speaker 2: He's the father of their own father.
- 43:50Speaker 3: And the thing has been passing from one person to another.
- 43:57Speaker 3: Lift your right hand where you see it. Say, Father,
- 44:00Speaker 3: in the name of Jesus. You are not saying it well.
- 44:04Speaker 3: From today, I forgive and I let go.
- 44:13Speaker 2: Can I give you a minute to think about someone
- 44:17Speaker 2: and bring.
- 44:17Speaker 3: The person on the table of your heart right now.
- 44:20Speaker 2: Call their names. It may cost you tears.
- 44:31Speaker 3: It may be that the only way you are coping
- 44:33Speaker 3: with life is never to remember these people. But now
- 44:36Speaker 3: you have to. You have to summon them to the
- 44:40Speaker 3: court of your heart. And say, Lord, I let go.
- 44:43Speaker 3: I receive grace today to let go this matter. Let
- 44:50Speaker 3: go of this matter. I receive grace for this matter
- 44:52Speaker 3: to die a natural death. I forgive.
- 44:55Speaker 2: I forgive. If you feel you have to kneel down, kneel.
- 45:01Speaker 2: If you feel you have to. It doesn't matter.
- 45:05Speaker 3: The church is God's way of reaching us. It is
- 45:07Speaker 3: a spiritual clinic. Take a posture you know you understand.
- 45:10Speaker 3: That reflect exactly how you feel. Some of you will
- 45:15Speaker 3: have to go and burn certain journals today. The journals
- 45:19Speaker 3: where you write all the things that.
- 45:20Speaker 2: Have pained you. Where you chronicled all of them. You
- 45:22Speaker 2: will read them again. The memories come back.
- 45:26Speaker 3: Some of you will have to go and pick the
- 45:27Speaker 3: journals and tear it to pieces and say.
- 45:30Speaker 2: The things of the past will I remember no more.
- 45:33Speaker 2: I let go.
- 45:35Speaker 3: I choose to begin a new life today on the
- 45:38Speaker 3: bill of God's grace. I choose to begin a new
- 45:43Speaker 3: life on the bill of God's mercies.
- 45:48Speaker 2: I choose to begin a new life. I let go.
- 45:54Speaker 2: In Jesus' name we're praying. Look up everybody.
- 45:59Speaker 3: In Genesis chapter number 3, when God came down and
- 46:05Speaker 3: he saw that both Adam and his wife were naked,
- 46:11Speaker 3: God said.
- 46:12Speaker 2: Who told you that you are what? Naked.
- 46:17Speaker 3: That was the first abuse man was exposed to, verbal abuse.
- 46:22Speaker 3: For someone to look at you and call you what
- 46:24Speaker 3: you are not That was what the devil did. And
- 46:28Speaker 3: many times it runs deep. There are things people would
- 46:34Speaker 3: now have their money, working for their money, have their family,
- 46:37Speaker 3: but they are still chains. They know it is there
- 46:40Speaker 3: and they know it is a product of upbringing. The
- 46:45Speaker 3: girl is so fine, everybody can see it. The boy
- 46:49Speaker 3: is handsome and industrious, but will never believe that he is.
- 46:52Speaker 3: When they say, my God, you look so beautiful, say really,
- 46:57Speaker 3: And in her mind, what she remembers all the time
- 46:59Speaker 3: is the words of the stepmother. You look like whatever
- 47:02Speaker 3: she calls her. And you look at your life and say,
- 47:08Speaker 3: these people have caused me so much pain. In order
- 47:10Speaker 3: for them not to have taken your past and also
- 47:12Speaker 3: take the future, let them go now. They have affected
- 47:19Speaker 3: the past. They've done strange things to you. They've messed
- 47:23Speaker 3: up your mind. Don't give them the opportunity to also
- 47:33Speaker 3: affect your future. That your children will not see you
- 47:37Speaker 3: as a bitter father. That the reason why you are
- 47:40Speaker 3: doing the things you are doing is because you are
- 47:41Speaker 3: in pain. Now they look at all that. You have
- 47:45Speaker 3: a good heart. You are loving. You are trusting.
- 47:48Speaker 2: You are genuine. You are kind.
- 47:51Speaker 3: But when you are hurt, you don't know how far
- 47:52Speaker 3: it's too far. Everybody must be served around. But you
- 47:57Speaker 3: truly love people. And now the perception of people about
- 48:00Speaker 3: you is bad. That is a sign you need to
- 48:03Speaker 3: change your strategy. What you are doing is not working.
- 48:06Speaker 3: And if you continue like that, the only narrative there
- 48:08Speaker 3: will be about you is that you are a witch.
- 48:11Speaker 3: And there will be no one to defend you because
- 48:13Speaker 3: all those who should would have been bruised by you too.
- 48:18Speaker 2: So what do you do? Get up. Forgive.
- 48:23Speaker 3: Don't make anybody make you a fool. And don't make
- 48:26Speaker 3: a fool out of yourself. This life is not that nice.
- 48:31Speaker 3: There are dangerous people around. Are you following what I'm
- 48:34Speaker 3: saying there? Are you aware there are people you know
- 48:36Speaker 3: in your family as bad? Meanwhile, they are the nicest.
- 48:41Speaker 3: They are the nicest. Everybody believe this sister. Maybe the
- 48:45Speaker 3: fellow is now even trusting God for a child. They say, no,
- 48:48Speaker 3: it's because of the wickedness. Meanwhile, this fellow is not wicked.
- 48:52Speaker 3: This fellow is just pained. They have done things to
- 48:55Speaker 3: her in that family that it will take growing up
- 48:58Speaker 3: for everybody to understand what she has endured.
- 49:00Speaker 2: But this is the narrative. The bad witch. The wicked woman.
- 49:04Speaker 2: The this and the that.
- 49:06Speaker 3: And she has allowed it so because she is not
- 49:08Speaker 3: managing the emotions well.
- 49:11Speaker 2: You must forgive. You must.
- 49:16Speaker 3: Lift your hands again. And say, Father, again I repent.
- 49:20Speaker 3: my heart before you. Help me heal. Help me forgive truly.
- 49:29Speaker 3: Help me. At this point, I really don't think I
- 49:33Speaker 3: have the capacity in myself to. At this point, I
- 49:39Speaker 3: don't really think I have the strength in myself to.
- 49:43Speaker 3: Maybe you are here. Somebody has dented your image. There's
- 49:47Speaker 3: been character assassination. You don't even know where to start from.
- 49:50Speaker 3: And you have given up now. Since they have destroyed
- 49:53Speaker 3: my image, let me just do the bad things too.
- 49:55Speaker 2: Who cares anymore? No, no, no, no.
- 49:57Speaker 3: You won't go that route. You won't go that route.
- 50:02Speaker 3: And I want us to truly pray. I want us
- 50:06Speaker 3: to truly pray. You might see a man out there
- 50:10Speaker 3: who is just crying like a child. No, no, no.
- 50:12Speaker 2: It is the move of the Spirit. Sometimes you need
- 50:17Speaker 2: to vent.
- 50:19Speaker 3: Sometimes the tears are necessary because a new beginning is here.
- 50:25Speaker 2: Please cry. Just leave it. Look up. When you fail
- 50:35Speaker 2: to forgive.
- 50:36Speaker 3: and you are dealing with manipulative people, you become the
- 50:39Speaker 3: ultimate victim. Both before God and men. God knows my heart,
- 50:46Speaker 3: knows how good I am. Sometimes you too, are you
- 50:49Speaker 3: following what I'm saying here? Both before God and men.
- 50:55Speaker 3: I choose to walk in wisdom.
- 51:01Speaker 2: I choose. I will not respond to this issue the
- 51:05Speaker 2: way it is coming. Amen. I will be wrong.
- 51:10Speaker 3: I choose to see it in a different dimension. I
- 51:14Speaker 3: choose to embrace grace.
- 51:16Speaker 2: I choose. I choose.
- 51:23Speaker 3: If there are people that you need to call, call them.
- 51:33Speaker 3: This is not an altar call. But there are some
- 51:36Speaker 3: of you who actually know that the strength to do
- 51:40Speaker 3: what you are doing on your seat is not there.
- 51:43Speaker 2: I should actually be out before the Lord and cry
- 51:45Speaker 2: myself out.
- 51:46Speaker 3: Nobody will hold you down. I've carried this pain. I've
- 51:51Speaker 3: carried this burden. I've carried this anger since I can remember.
- 51:58Speaker 3: I come before you, Lord, and I lay down. If
- 52:02Speaker 3: you know you have to be here, be here right now.
- 52:04Speaker 3: Nobody cares about Nobody is going to hold you back.
- 52:08Speaker 3: I bring out my pain, my burden, my trouble, my trauma.
- 52:17Speaker 3: The bitterness of my soul.
- 52:22Speaker 2: I bring them out. I can't go on like this anymore.
- 52:30Speaker 2: I can't. I lay them at the altar. Pick any
- 52:32Speaker 2: spot you want.
- 52:33Speaker 3: Pick any spot you want. I lay them at the altar.
- 52:38Speaker 3: I choose to trust you, Lord. I choose to trust you.
- 52:42Speaker 3: I am no longer seeking for vengeance.
- 52:45Speaker 2: No.
- 52:47Speaker 6: No.
- 52:48Speaker 3: I embrace peace. I am no longer seeking for vengeance.
- 52:54Speaker 6: No.
- 52:56Speaker 2: No.
- 52:58Speaker 5: No.
- 53:04Speaker 3: Shake up the dust that has gathered on you for
- 53:08Speaker 3: so long. Step out of the darkness of shame you
- 53:14Speaker 3: have wrapped yourself in. There is hope for a tree
- 53:18Speaker 3: that is cut down, because at the scent of water
- 53:22Speaker 3: it shall spring back to life again. Ego, you are
- 53:27Speaker 3: a soldier in the army of God, and the host
- 53:31Speaker 3: awaits your response to declare your call. It's time to
- 53:37Speaker 3: shake off the dust. The balm of Gilead is here.
- 53:47Speaker 3: And is here to truly help you heal. He's the
- 53:52Speaker 3: lily of the valley. He's here to help.
- 54:01Speaker 2: Yes. He's here to help.
- 54:07Speaker 3: And sometimes the person you have really not forgiven is yourself.
- 54:13Speaker 2: How did I make this mistake? How did I allow
- 54:16Speaker 2: myself to go there? How did I allow myself to
- 54:19Speaker 2: do this? Forgive yourself. Forgive yourself. Sometimes you are hungry
- 54:27Speaker 2: at the society, pained by the church.
- 54:30Speaker 3: I don't want to have anything to do with church again.
- 54:34Speaker 3: I don't want to have anything to do with Christians again.
- 54:37Speaker 3: But really, you let go. There's somebody saying the church
- 54:44Speaker 3: killed my mother. The church did. She could have walked
- 54:48Speaker 3: out from that abusive marriage. But they kept saying this
- 54:51Speaker 3: till she died.
- 54:51Speaker 2: That's why I'm angry. Forgive. It's been how many months now?
- 54:57Speaker 2: It's been how many years now? Forgive. Forgive. My younger
- 55:03Speaker 2: brother died. We prayed all the prayers we could pray.
- 55:06Speaker 2: He could not come back to life. I'm angry. Forgive.
- 55:14Speaker 3: As long as there is breath in our nostrils, I
- 55:16Speaker 3: can bet it that we will not have answers to
- 55:19Speaker 3: all our questions. Till we see him face to face
- 55:22Speaker 3: as he is. Then will the deepest questions of our
- 55:25Speaker 3: hearts be heard. And the deepest longings of our hearts
- 55:28Speaker 3: be satisfied. While we are in this world, the Bible
- 55:33Speaker 3: said we will have tribulations. We will face problems. We
- 55:38Speaker 3: will be accused wrongly.
- 55:39Speaker 2: We will be lied against. We will be hated.
- 55:45Speaker 3: People that you have helped will manipulate people against you.
- 55:50Speaker 3: But he said, be of good cheer. For I have
- 55:53Speaker 3: overcome the world. So when we are here outside, we
- 55:58Speaker 3: are not here because we are weak.
- 55:59Speaker 4: We are weak.
- 56:01Speaker 3: We are here because we lean on His strength. We
- 56:05Speaker 3: are here because we have come to the hand of ourselves.
- 56:09Speaker 3: We are here because we've come to the hand of
- 56:11Speaker 3: our hope. We are here because this is the last hope.
- 56:19Speaker 3: This is the last hope. That you will.
- 56:28Speaker 2: Heal your children, Lord. That you will heal, Lord. Heal marriages.
- 56:42Speaker 2: When you look at your spouse now, you don't even
- 56:44Speaker 2: know what you see. You don't know what you see.
- 56:48Speaker 2: All you know is that you are not seeing the
- 56:49Speaker 2: person you fell in love with.
- 56:51Speaker 5: No.
- 56:53Speaker 2: You are only clouded with the pain.
- 56:54Speaker 6: Forgive.
- 56:54Speaker 2: Forgive.
- 57:02Speaker 3: Where do I go from here? My reputation has been damaged.
- 57:05Speaker 3: My image has been scattered. What do I do with
- 57:08Speaker 3: my life now?
- 57:09Speaker 2: Forgive. Start from there. I need you, Lord, I need you.
- 57:30Speaker 6: Everything, I need you. Help me, Lord, save you.
- 57:41Speaker 3: I run too deep. Somebody promised you marriage only for
- 57:54Speaker 3: you to find out that you were the only one
- 57:56Speaker 3: in the relationship.
- 57:56Speaker 2: Forgive. Forgive. He's left your life now but keeps saying
- 58:02Speaker 2: bad things about you. Forgive. That is where your journey
- 58:08Speaker 2: truly starts from. Forgive. I need you. Oh, I need you.
- 58:18Speaker 2: I need you.
- 58:29Speaker 4: Oh, bless me now, my Savior, I run to you.
- 58:39Speaker 2: Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord.
- 58:59Speaker 3: In Jesus' mighty name, we are praying. Those of you
- 59:05Speaker 3: in front, do you mind I agree with you in prayers?
- 59:08Speaker 3: Let me agree with you in prayers. If you can stand,
- 59:10Speaker 3: please stand. Let me agree with you in prayers. And
- 59:16Speaker 3: if you know you actually ought to be out, you
- 59:19Speaker 3: can join.
- 59:20Speaker 2: Let me share a story with you. I shared a
- 59:22Speaker 2: story before. Of a man that....
- 59:28Speaker 3: His wife died while the marriage was still young. And
- 59:35Speaker 3: they had just a girl. And the man vowed that
- 59:41Speaker 3: he will not remarry. But all the affection he has
- 59:45Speaker 3: for the wife, he will channel all the affection to
- 59:48Speaker 3: the girl and train the girl until she becomes somebody
- 59:52Speaker 3: in life. When the girl brought a man home to
- 59:58Speaker 3: Show the father that this is the man I want
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: to marry. The man begged him. This girl is my life.
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: She's my everything. Don't beat her. If she does anything
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: to you, report her.
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: She's my life.
- 1:00:16Speaker 3: And it was like the guy went on to do
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: the exact opposite. He will beat the girl. He will
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: bruise her face. They had to package her several times.
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: And the father held him, held the guy in his heart.
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: And after a while, he became very sick. They did
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: everything they could. They prayed. It was just swelling. They prayed,
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: they fasted, it was swelling. Till a man of God
- 1:00:52Speaker 3: prayed for him and said, there's somebody you have not forgiven.
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: So it's true.
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: He invited the daughter's husband. Already at that point, the
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: daughter was already back to living with him. And he
- 1:01:12Speaker 3: held the guy and was shaking and crying.
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: Just saying one word, I forgive you. I forgive you.
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: I forgive you.
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: And what they noticed was that the wedding ring the
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: old man was wearing just fell.
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: What happened? In the course of holding the guy, he shrank.
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: He shrank back.
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: The devil is so brutal that despite your pain, he
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: can even inflict you with sickness.
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: Because unforgiveness is you violating a law. Lift your hands.
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: I decree today that you receive grace. Every injury in
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: that heart is healed. I ask that you receive divine
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: enablement and the spirit of boldness. To let go this
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: deepest issue in your heart. And the knowledge of God
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: that passes understanding will keep you. And his grace will
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: preserve you. It will help your heart and mind. And
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: you will receive perfect healing in the name of Jesus.
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: I ask that anything that you are currently suffering as
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: a result of what has been done against you, the
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: Lord himself will help you.
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: He will help you recover in totality. In the name
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: of Jesus. It is done. In Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: It is done. It is done.
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: Whatever step you have to take from here as the
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: Lord leads you, go ahead and do it.
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: Thank you, Jesus. You may go back to your seat.
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: Thank you, Lord. Have you been blessed today?
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: Let's put our hands together for Jesus.
