- 0:00Speaker 1: This is seven to ten, R Boy, The Mark Simoon
- 0:04Speaker 1: Show starts. Now. Hey, well, lost to get to Yankees
- 0:13Speaker 1: tonight eight o'clock. We'll get to the Mayo Race. A
- 0:16Speaker 1: lot of movement there. We'll get to Jimmy Kimmel, a
- 0:19Speaker 1: lot of movement down. We'll get to Crazy Jack Smith,
- 0:24Speaker 1: that bug eyed weirdo. We'll get to the Nobel Prize.
- 0:26Speaker 1: We'll get to the shutdown. Remember the shutdown. It's still on.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Actually I just mentioned that because nobody will notice. We'll
- 0:32Speaker 1: get to Taylor Swift and a whole lot more coming up.
- 0:36Speaker 1: And today's terrible day. It's October seventh. It's the anniversary
- 0:41Speaker 1: two year anniversary of the nine to eleven of Israel,
- 0:46Speaker 1: October seventh. So we're hoping later this week some kind
- 0:50Speaker 1: of deal has reached, some sort of hostage deal, got
- 0:55Speaker 1: some hostages released. One is going to be visiting the
- 0:57Speaker 1: White House President Trump, welcoming him. The other has written
- 1:00Speaker 1: a book about how frightening the captivity was, the torture,
- 1:05Speaker 1: the brutality, the cruelty of Hamas and all of that. Hey,
- 1:11Speaker 1: we'll also get to Chicago. The audio is come out.
- 1:16Speaker 1: This fat slob.
- 1:18Speaker 2: JB.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Pritzker and the awful nutty crazy Chicago mayor deliberately held back.
- 1:24Speaker 1: The police will play you the audio on a little while,
- 1:27Speaker 1: and Hey, Curtis sliwa great ad. He's finally come out
- 1:31Speaker 1: with a real tough anti Cuomo ad. It goes after
- 1:34Speaker 1: him for the nursing homes. He's got another one that
- 1:36Speaker 1: goes after him for creating the crime wave with his
- 1:39Speaker 1: no bail, no jail. Curtis has been running that ad
- 1:42Speaker 1: all over the place. Cuomo doing a lot more appearances.
- 1:45Speaker 1: All of a sudden, he was hiding from a lot
- 1:49Speaker 1: of people. He still does only very friendly interviewers New
- 1:52Speaker 1: York one where they just slobber and drool all over him.
- 1:55Speaker 1: The New York one is extremely slanted to the left.
- 1:59Speaker 1: He was on Good Day New York this morning. That's
- 2:01Speaker 1: pretty neutral. But yeah, they're both good friends with Cuomo,
- 2:05Speaker 1: so they went kind of easy on him. Cuomo also
- 2:11Speaker 1: pointing out that, and he actually said, I don't need
- 2:15Speaker 1: Curtis to get out of the race. And one thing
- 2:16Speaker 1: I think he may be realizing is if Curtis gets
- 2:18Speaker 1: out of the race, most of his voters will not
- 2:21Speaker 1: go to Cuomo. If Curtis were to drop out, he's
- 2:23Speaker 1: not dropping out, but if he did, most of his
- 2:25Speaker 1: voters would not go to Cuomo. They'd probably just stay home.
- 2:29Speaker 1: They're not Cuomo fans. The same thing with Eric Ademy
- 2:32Speaker 1: and Eric Adams. You got a better shot again some
- 2:34Speaker 1: of Adams votes. But when Adams dropped out of the race,
- 2:37Speaker 1: we haven't got the exact polling yet, but you'll see
- 2:39Speaker 1: half went to Mondani and half went to Cuomo. So
- 2:42Speaker 1: Adams out of the race made really very little difference.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Here's Cuomo yesterday.
- 2:46Speaker 3: There's a civil war within the Democratic Party going on,
- 2:49Speaker 3: and the Democratic Party is looking for its identity, and
- 2:52Speaker 3: there are two factions. You have the Democratic Socialists and
- 2:55Speaker 3: then you have the Democrats. Right, I'm a Democrat. My
- 2:58Speaker 3: father was a Democratic, worked for Bill Clinton. He is
- 3:01Speaker 3: a Democratic Socialist. He is not a Democrat.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Right.
- 3:05Speaker 3: He called President Obama evil and a liar. He did
- 3:09Speaker 3: not support Kamala Harris against Trump.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Well, givehim credit for that one, but you get to
- 3:17Speaker 1: remember there was a civil war going on when Cuomo
- 3:19Speaker 1: was governor, and he pandered to the far left. He
- 3:22Speaker 1: could have every far left wacko policy could come up with.
- 3:26Speaker 4: Uh.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Yes.
- 3:27Speaker 1: The other problem Cuomo has he's busy putting on this
- 3:31Speaker 1: act that he's some sort of mainstream Democrat. If in
- 3:34Speaker 1: the primary he had pointed out he's done more left
- 3:37Speaker 1: wing things than Mam Donnie, he probably would have beaten
- 3:40Speaker 1: him in the primary. He is probably I don't know
- 3:42Speaker 1: if he's as far left as Mom Donnie, but he's
- 3:44Speaker 1: one inch from Mom Donni on far left policies, no bail,
- 3:48Speaker 1: no jail, defund the police, closed the prisons. That could
- 3:51Speaker 1: go on and on. But if he had played that
- 3:53Speaker 1: up in the primary, maybe he would have taken the
- 3:55Speaker 1: Mom Donnie voters away from him. They believed government chie
- 3:58Speaker 1: a socialist. See believe government should control the means of production.
- 4:03Speaker 3: This should be no private ownership of property.
- 4:07Speaker 5: Isn't that communism when the government owns everything.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Well, that's why President Trump calls him a communist.
- 4:12Speaker 1: That voice, that's joy behar. You see, he was doing
- 4:15Speaker 1: hard hitting interviews. The view, the view that's he's sticking
- 4:21Speaker 1: to the very very very very easy stuff. Give Trump credit,
- 4:25Speaker 1: he'll go He'll pick the worst enemy. He's got the
- 4:28Speaker 1: most brutal interviewer that hates him the most. Caitlin Collins,
- 4:33Speaker 1: Kirsten Kristen Welker, whatever name, He'll go on those. But
- 4:36Speaker 1: Cuomo sticks to the very gentle, soft, easy interviews.
- 4:39Speaker 3: And the Democratic Socialists want to defund the police. They
- 4:43Speaker 3: want to do away with misdemeanors. They would legalize prostitution,
- 4:47Speaker 3: legalize the drug trade, which I think would be anarchy
- 4:51Speaker 3: for the city.
- 4:52Speaker 1: To This is the problem. He's pretending he's some sort
- 4:54Speaker 1: of mainstream Democrat. In the primary, he could have said
- 4:57Speaker 1: to Mamdani, I'm the only one that acts. He did
- 5:00Speaker 1: defund the police. I'm the one that took away their overtime.
- 5:04Speaker 1: I'm the one that took away their qualified immunity. I'm
- 5:07Speaker 1: the one that went out. He actually did more damage
- 5:09Speaker 1: to the police than any Democrat ever. But he's hiding
- 5:13Speaker 1: that and pretending to be some sort of mainstream guy.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Mom Donnie, he was hedging a little in an interview
- 5:20Speaker 1: or two. You know, all those things. He proposes, free busses,
- 5:23Speaker 1: He doesn't have any authority to make the buses for
- 5:25Speaker 1: he has no control of the buses. That's the MTA.
- 5:28Speaker 1: And he doesn't tax and he can't tax the rich.
- 5:31Speaker 1: There's no policy to tax anybody. But he kind of
- 5:34Speaker 1: mentioned that in one interview He basically said, you know,
- 5:37Speaker 1: I may not be able to get that tax through
- 5:39Speaker 1: because that's the legislature. Hey, Cuomo also having to point out,
- 5:43Speaker 1: you know, remember also besides the fact that he was
- 5:45Speaker 1: a terrible governor, did the worst things imaginable as governor,
- 5:49Speaker 1: he had to leave in total scandal, sex scandal, harassment
- 5:54Speaker 1: of groping, and he had to leave. He had a
- 5:57Speaker 1: flea office, fled Albany. And he points out yesterday that
- 6:01Speaker 1: he's got to be so careful now.
- 6:03Speaker 3: I won't kiss a person on the cheek unless they
- 6:06Speaker 3: initiate a kiss.
- 6:09Speaker 1: So, uh, they.
- 6:11Speaker 3: Told me a lesson just to be super cautious because
- 6:15Speaker 3: there is a sensitivity that has evolved that is real.
- 6:21Speaker 1: That when he talks slow, that means he's lying. He said,
- 6:29Speaker 1: they told me I can't Who is they? It's not
- 6:33Speaker 1: a great interview? Said, who the hell is they? What
- 6:36Speaker 1: do you mean they told you you can't kiss me?
- 6:38Speaker 1: Who's they? Who runs your life? Tell us who this is? Hey,
- 6:41Speaker 1: there's a little controversy in the New Jersey. Mikey Cheryl
- 6:46Speaker 1: is the Democratic nominee again, another left wing kook running
- 6:50Speaker 1: against Jack Chittarelli. So uh, Chitderelli thinks he's got a
- 6:55Speaker 1: big issue to get her with at Chittarelli running these
- 6:58Speaker 1: ads where he says, who the hell would eat a
- 7:01Speaker 1: pork roll? Now, for those of you that are not
- 7:03Speaker 1: in New Jersey, I have to explain this. In New
- 7:06Speaker 1: Jersey culture, it's a big, big deal. The biggest breakfast
- 7:11Speaker 1: thing in New Jersey is a pork roll. I know
- 7:14Speaker 1: many of you are looking at me like I'm nuts.
- 7:17Speaker 1: This is what they do in New Jersey. It's called
- 7:18Speaker 1: it's actually what it is, it's a ham. It's called
- 7:21Speaker 1: Taylor ham because it's a pre cooked, hickory smoked, cured
- 7:27Speaker 1: pork roll. It's made in New Jersey. It's made by
- 7:30Speaker 1: a company called Taylor Provisions. So that's why most people
- 7:34Speaker 1: call it tailor ham. Some call it a pork roll.
- 7:37Speaker 1: But in New Jersey this is what they eat for breakfast.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Why can't you people act like a New Yorker bacon,
- 7:43Speaker 1: egg and cheese. It's the perfect breakfast, a bagel or bacon,
- 7:49Speaker 1: egg and cheese. They have this pork roll. They think
- 7:52Speaker 1: it's great. Don't tell them it's not. But anyway, so
- 7:57Speaker 1: she said, oh the hell I eat a pork roll
- 7:59Speaker 1: or something like that. So Chitterrelly's running these commercials. It's
- 8:02Speaker 1: the most anti New Jersey. Why she would need a
- 8:05Speaker 1: pork Well, he's kind of conning the audience. That's not
- 8:08Speaker 1: what she said. She didn't say who would eat one?
- 8:12Speaker 1: Or I would never eat She didn't sing anything like that.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Chitterelly actually been quite deceptive. There's a controversy in New Jersey.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Do you call it Taylor Ham or do you call
- 8:21Speaker 1: it a pork roll? What she was arguing was I
- 8:24Speaker 1: would call it Taylor Ham? Who would call it a
- 8:26Speaker 1: pork roll? Here's the actual clip of what she said, Jillhammer,
- 8:28Speaker 1: pork roll? What do you call it?
- 8:30Speaker 5: Come on, you're from Wayne. I call it tailor Taylor Ham?
- 8:33Speaker 6: Who eats porkroll?
- 8:34Speaker 3: On me?
- 8:35Speaker 6: I think that's gross.
- 8:36Speaker 1: You know what it is.
- 8:37Speaker 7: I've had this fight multiple times.
- 8:39Speaker 6: Nobody wants pork roll.
- 8:40Speaker 1: Okay, she's arguing over the name. Chitterrelly, deceiving the public.
- 8:44Speaker 1: He cut out the par Who the hell would eat
- 8:45Speaker 1: a pork roll? That's gross. That's not what she said.
- 8:48Speaker 1: He took it totally out of context. Uh, let's move
- 8:52Speaker 1: on because people outside of New Jersey are looking at
- 8:54Speaker 1: me going, what the hell are you talking about, Taylor
- 8:56Speaker 1: Ham pork roll. What's the other thing they eat there? Oh,
- 9:00Speaker 1: Jersey tomatoes. They brag it, but go to and have
- 9:03Speaker 1: one of these Jersey tomatoes. It tastes like a tomato.
- 9:07Speaker 1: It's like the same tomato. You can get in with it.
- 9:10Speaker 1: I hate to break it, dear people. It's really not
- 9:11Speaker 1: that much different. Now. Now let's get to Jimmy Kimmel. Now,
- 9:16Speaker 1: the talk for the last couple of weeks is everything
- 9:18Speaker 1: President Trump did to Jimmy Kimmel totally backfired. Kimmel had very,
- 9:24Speaker 1: very low ratings. He had about, if he was lucky,
- 9:26Speaker 1: a million viewers. Guttfeldt has three, three and a half million.
- 9:32Speaker 1: President Trump goes after him, causes a big controversy. It's
- 9:35Speaker 1: all we're talking about for a few days. So finally
- 9:38Speaker 1: Kimmel gets back on the air. Instead of his one million,
- 9:41Speaker 1: he comes on the air and gets six point five million,
- 9:45Speaker 1: monstrous ratings for him, and they all yelled for a week.
- 9:49Speaker 1: I'm backfired on Trump. Look at Trump should he's probably
- 9:53Speaker 1: kicking himself for he's made Jimmy Kimmel bigger than ever. Well,
- 9:59Speaker 1: it's about two weeks now, Jimmy Kimmel's ratings have dropped
- 10:01Speaker 1: about eighty eight percent, plunged right back to they were.
- 10:06Speaker 1: He's back to his one million. He lost all the
- 10:08Speaker 1: viewers he picked up. There was a big spike, a
- 10:11Speaker 1: big surge. All of a sudden, people started to watch
- 10:13Speaker 1: him when they heard about this, they started watching him,
- 10:17Speaker 1: and apparently they didn't like it, because they've all stopped
- 10:19Speaker 1: watching him and he's back to his old ratings, right
- 10:21Speaker 1: back to where he started from. Hey, this is crazy
- 10:25Speaker 1: Jack Smith, if that's really his name, This bug eyed
- 10:29Speaker 1: prosecutor Jack Smith, the weirdo with the cape. Any guy
- 10:33Speaker 1: that owns a cape should be in a mental institution.
- 10:36Speaker 1: I mean, outside of Halloween, you should not be wearing
- 10:38Speaker 1: a cape anyway. This Jack Smith, it turns out, was
- 10:42Speaker 1: spying on members of Congress. This is the guy with
- 10:46Speaker 1: the classified document's case at mar A Lago. This is
- 10:50Speaker 1: the guy that raided mar A Lago with guns drawn.
- 10:53Speaker 1: He got authorization to use deadly force in the President's house.
- 10:59Speaker 1: This is this crazy Jack Smith. He's the guy that
- 11:01Speaker 1: had his agents go through Baron's room, all the closets.
- 11:05Speaker 1: They went through Malania's underwear draw just like Pauli Walnuts
- 11:09Speaker 1: did in the Sopranos. This is a sick guy, this
- 11:12Speaker 1: is Jack Smith. And it turns out there were no
- 11:14Speaker 1: classified documents. There were member of the pictures of the boxes,
- 11:17Speaker 1: hundreds and hundreds of boxes, rooms filled with boxes, a
- 11:21Speaker 1: stage filled with boxes. Turn out none of them had
- 11:24Speaker 1: any classified documents in them. All they did find was
- 11:27Speaker 1: thirty five classified documents. And if you put them in
- 11:30Speaker 1: a folder, it's about one inch thick, So that's one
- 11:34Speaker 1: inch one box. That's it. And they should release those
- 11:36Speaker 1: classified documents because you'll find most of them have nothing
- 11:40Speaker 1: in them of any importance. Most classified documents are things
- 11:43Speaker 1: that didn't even need to be classified. Most of them
- 11:45Speaker 1: are stuff that was over classified. Sometimes it's a weather
- 11:49Speaker 1: report for a battlefield, stuff like that. So Jack Smith
- 11:53Speaker 1: a complete fraud. Now FBI Director Deputy Director Bongino releasing
- 11:59Speaker 1: all this information. Jack Smith, at the same time was
- 12:02Speaker 1: spying on Lindsey Graham, Josh Hawley, members of Congress, Ron Johnson,
- 12:07Speaker 1: Marshall Blackburn, and many many others. He was tracking their
- 12:10Speaker 1: private communications, their phone calls, monitoring them, checking their phone records,
- 12:16Speaker 1: and nobody can figure out why. They found out it
- 12:20Speaker 1: was part of what they call CAST assistance CAST is
- 12:24Speaker 1: that's what they call the FBI's Cellular Analysis Survey Team.
- 12:28Speaker 1: In other words, wire tapping. You remember Watergate, That was
- 12:31Speaker 1: when they tapped one guy's phone, the Democratic Party chairman
- 12:36Speaker 1: Lawrence O'Brien. They tapped one guy's phone. That was Watergate.
- 12:40Speaker 1: Here's Jack Smith taking complete control of the phone records
- 12:44Speaker 1: of everybody, a long list of major congress people. This
- 12:49Speaker 1: is Watergate times one thousand. We'll see what happens to
- 12:53Speaker 1: Jack Smith. So they're starting to release all of this
- 12:56Speaker 1: stuff Smith. That phony case, that Jack Smith case costs
- 13:01Speaker 1: the taxpayers more than fifty million dollars. This is going
- 13:05Speaker 1: to be bad for Jacksmith. This is going to turn
- 13:07Speaker 1: out to be very ugly and he's going to have
- 13:09Speaker 1: a problem. News organizations yesterday were unable to reach Smith
- 13:14Speaker 1: for comment. He refused to comment. Here's a guy that
- 13:17Speaker 1: all the press conference every couple minutes and now refuses
- 13:20Speaker 1: to comment. More and more stuff is going to start
- 13:22Speaker 1: to come out. For instance, they just released intelligence released this.
- 13:29Speaker 1: During the Biden Obama administration, the CIA and intelligence organizations
- 13:35Speaker 1: discovered what the Biden family was doing in Ukraine. This
- 13:38Speaker 1: money laundering scheme, this influence peddling scheme, all the crap
- 13:43Speaker 1: that was going on in Ukraine. What was the company
- 13:45Speaker 1: Barisma where Hunter was getting mill tens of millions, the
- 13:49Speaker 1: brothers were getting millions, making a fortune in Ukraine. So
- 13:52Speaker 1: the intelligence community looked at this and said, this is
- 13:54Speaker 1: a real problem. It's major, major influence pedling. It's basically ibery,
- 14:00Speaker 1: it's conflict of interest, and they put together an intelligence
- 14:02Speaker 1: report CIA. This is during the Obama Biden administration, and
- 14:06Speaker 1: apparently Vice President Biden, the documents are coming out now
- 14:11Speaker 1: suppressed it. He told them not to release this, to
- 14:15Speaker 1: cover this up, not to distribute this. Within the Intelligence committee,
- 14:21Speaker 1: it was hushed up. It was covered up by then
- 14:24Speaker 1: Vice President Biden. Pretty bad. Hey, they're going to give
- 14:27Speaker 1: out the Nobel Peace Prize on Friday. Now. A lot
- 14:31Speaker 1: of the hostages families are pushing the Nobel Peace Prize
- 14:37Speaker 1: committee to give it to President Trump for what he's
- 14:40Speaker 1: done for Israel, also for the seven wars he's ended
- 14:43Speaker 1: this year. I mean, obviously got more qualifications for the
- 14:48Speaker 1: Nobel Peace Prize than probably ninety nine point nine percent
- 14:51Speaker 1: of the winners, but they're pushing it too late. I'm
- 14:54Speaker 1: sure they've already picked the person. And it's the most biased,
- 14:57Speaker 1: slanted award, the Nobel Peace Prize, totally corrupt partisan. They'll
- 15:02Speaker 1: give it out Friday. Watch. I'll predict right now the
- 15:05Speaker 1: winner will be Gavin Newsom. He'll he'll get it on Friday. Hey,
- 15:09Speaker 1: we'll take some calls. Next, eight hundred three to two
- 15:11Speaker 1: one zero seven ten is the number eight hundred three
- 15:15Speaker 1: two one zero seven ten. Now back to the Mark
- 15:18Speaker 1: Simone Show on WR Hey, let's take some calls. Eight
- 15:23Speaker 1: hundred three two one zero seven ten is the number
- 15:27Speaker 1: eight hundred three two one zero seven ten. Let's go
- 15:30Speaker 1: to David and Long Island. David, how you doing good?
- 15:34Speaker 8: Mark, David the Uber d I haven't taught you in
- 15:36Speaker 8: a long time, But you remember when they had this
- 15:39Speaker 8: whole thing about the language that you know, you had
- 15:42Speaker 8: to say the correct things. Well, I don't know if
- 15:45Speaker 8: you can get to Lower Manhattan, but at the end
- 15:48Speaker 8: of Broadway, there's this huge building that used to be
- 15:50Speaker 8: the US Customs House. Yeah, now it's the American Museum
- 15:57Speaker 8: of the American Indians. Well like four posters up.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Yeah, Well that's okay, what's wrong with that?
- 16:04Speaker 8: Don't we're supposed to say.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Oh, you're not supposed toy Indian. What are you supposed
- 16:08Speaker 1: to say indigenous?
- 16:11Speaker 8: I don't know why I don't keep tracked, but I
- 16:13Speaker 8: know that you're not supposed to call them American Indians.
- 16:17Speaker 9: Uh.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Well, I think that's over with. I think that, uh,
- 16:21Speaker 1: that whole thing is over with. You can you can
- 16:23Speaker 1: call him an Indian? This name changing, it's got to stop.
- 16:28Speaker 1: It's absolutely ridiculous.
- 16:30Speaker 8: I agree, but I think it's a riot that they
- 16:33Speaker 8: missed this one.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Hey, you drive an Ubert? Tell us? Uh what now?
- 16:37Speaker 1: What has happened in the back of your uber? People
- 16:39Speaker 1: throwing up, people having sex, people punching each.
- 16:42Speaker 8: Other, yelling about Trump?
- 16:45Speaker 5: I mean it's.
- 16:49Speaker 8: Dangerous.
- 16:50Speaker 1: You mean couples fighting with each other over Trump?
- 16:53Speaker 5: No fighting with you.
- 16:56Speaker 8: There was a conflicts three minutes with him. I haven't
- 16:58Speaker 8: said a words yelling me about Trump.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Why would they yell at you? How do they know
- 17:03Speaker 1: you support Trump?
- 17:03Speaker 8: Why call it books? Brothers shirt, my Ralph Lauren slacks, form,
- 17:08Speaker 8: my pole driver issues. But they've decided that I'm a
- 17:12Speaker 8: republic kid.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Yeah. No, it's very strange. All right, great call David.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Yeah they do that now. The actually, you know, I
- 17:18Speaker 1: don't talk to Why what do you do? He's Republican.
- 17:24Speaker 1: It's it is. It's a civil war taking place right now.
- 17:27Speaker 1: It's absolutely insane. Uh, what happened to?
- 17:31Speaker 10: You know?
- 17:31Speaker 1: If Jack Kennedy or John F. Kennedy or Bill Clinton,
- 17:35Speaker 1: they must be looking at all you saying, what the
- 17:36Speaker 1: hell is wrong with you people? What happened to my
- 17:38Speaker 1: Democratic Party? Let's go to Joel in Florida. Joel, how
- 17:42Speaker 1: you doing?
- 17:44Speaker 11: Good morning Mark again, Good morning Vincent, Good morning Mara.
- 17:47Speaker 11: Or I just have a question. I know you're not
- 17:49Speaker 11: an attorney, obviously, but I'm just curious myself for all
- 17:52Speaker 11: of the elect ilegalities that have been brought upon us
- 17:56Speaker 11: by the people in them in the Obama administration, including
- 18:00Speaker 11: b Ack Obama and the Body family. Do you see
- 18:03Speaker 11: at any time anyone being convicted of any of these things?
- 18:07Speaker 5: Oh?
- 18:07Speaker 1: Absolutely, absolutely, definitely absolutely Look for Letitia James to get convicted.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Look for call me to have some call me. Most
- 18:15Speaker 1: likely could get convicted. There's gonna be a lot of
- 18:17Speaker 1: stuff going on now. I know there were pardons, but
- 18:20Speaker 1: if they can prove the auto pen was used, it
- 18:22Speaker 1: might void the pardon. But you know, no, it's hey.
- 18:26Speaker 1: You got to remember Trump's only been in office like
- 18:28Speaker 1: twenty minutes. It's only like the first half of the
- 18:30Speaker 1: first year. Give them time. He's got three and a
- 18:33Speaker 1: half more years to go. Let's go to Vincent in Brooklyn. Vincent, Oh,
- 18:38Speaker 1: good morning, right now, Vincent, I got to ask you something.
- 18:41Speaker 2: Go ahead.
- 18:42Speaker 1: You were talking about how bad things are in Italy.
- 18:44Speaker 1: I heard from like twelve listeners they're planning trips to
- 18:46Speaker 1: Italy in the next couple of weeks. What exactly what's
- 18:49Speaker 1: wrong now?
- 18:50Speaker 2: The problem is is they're having these flash mobs take
- 18:53Speaker 2: over major train stations. They even invaded the runway of
- 19:00Speaker 2: I believe it was Milan Airport last week, and the
- 19:05Speaker 2: marine terminals for the boats, also for the furry, the
- 19:09Speaker 2: ferries and everything. So they just cout. They have these
- 19:13Speaker 2: spontaneous strikes. So that's the thing you have to watch for.
- 19:18Speaker 2: It's not that they say, well, tomorrow we're going to
- 19:21Speaker 2: go on strike, and the Italian government has an issue
- 19:25Speaker 2: with that because they talk about all the people that
- 19:28Speaker 2: were left in a lurch, and they also said that
- 19:32Speaker 2: the strike cost the Italian economy five point five billion dollars.
- 19:37Speaker 2: Meant say that that's not a lot. Well, the economy,
- 19:40Speaker 2: the whole economy for the country of Italy is just
- 19:45Speaker 2: slightly more than the economy of New York.
- 19:47Speaker 9: New York.
- 19:47Speaker 2: The budget is one hundred and thirty five billion, it
- 19:50Speaker 2: leases one hundred and fifty four billion, So in that
- 19:53Speaker 2: respect it is a lot mark. I heard Larry mention
- 19:57Speaker 2: on his news segment that Domi came out with a
- 20:01Speaker 2: new afforded biddle of the calculator for New York. I
- 20:04Speaker 2: have an easy way. Anytime a politician says they're gonna
- 20:09Speaker 2: give somebody something, one of their constituents something for free,
- 20:14Speaker 2: you could bet your bottom dollar another cook constituent, whether
- 20:19Speaker 2: they like it or not, is going to foot the bill.
- 20:22Speaker 2: Yesterday we spoke about the numerous reasons why we should
- 20:27Speaker 2: not elect Zoron Mondani, and I bought him the whole
- 20:31Speaker 2: thing that he's a Muslim socialist democrat. This proves my point.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Look at London and look at Paris. London elected a
- 20:42Speaker 2: Muslim mayor, and London, aside from all the tony tourist
- 20:47Speaker 2: areas around Buckingham Palace or around where the royals live,
- 20:52Speaker 2: outside of that, London is a ghetto.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Europeans Zabela. We got to go for the news, but
- 21:02Speaker 1: great call. Thanks for calling.
- 21:03Speaker 2: Hey.
- 21:03Speaker 1: When we come back, Bill O'Reilly will be with us next.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Lots to talk to him about on seven to ten WR.
- 21:10Speaker 12: The Mark Simone Show continues on sevent ten WR.
- 21:17Speaker 1: Well Bill o'reiley the number one TV anchor for decades.
- 21:20Speaker 1: You know, he's also the number one best selling non
- 21:22Speaker 1: fiction author on Earth. His latest book number one on
- 21:25Speaker 1: the New York Times bestseller list, number one bestseller. If
- 21:28Speaker 1: you haven't got it yet, you got to get the
- 21:29Speaker 1: book Confronting Evil. Powerful new book from Bill O'Reilly. You
- 21:33Speaker 1: can watch the show, get the column at billoreilly dot com. Hey,
- 21:37Speaker 1: make sure you check out his YouTube channel. Great stuff
- 21:39Speaker 1: on Bill O'Reilly's YouTube channel, Bill O'Reilly.
- 21:42Speaker 2: How you doing, Hey, Happy lad?
- 21:45Speaker 9: Putin birthday today? Oh no, but yeah, Putin's birthday, big
- 21:52Speaker 9: party somewhere, not in Ukraine, but somewhere they're having a
- 21:59Speaker 9: big blash.
- 21:59Speaker 1: From Yeah, oh boy, that Confronting Evil. That book, the
- 22:03Speaker 1: Putin chapter is so powerful, but he looks like such
- 22:07Speaker 1: a depraved psychopathy.
- 22:09Speaker 9: Yeah, the worst and the absolute worst. And you know,
- 22:13Speaker 9: we're plagued by these people, which is why I wrote
- 22:16Speaker 9: in front of evil, and they just never stopped. You know,
- 22:20Speaker 9: they get keep getting born, and they just caused so
- 22:24Speaker 9: much trouble. Now I have a question for you. Some
- 22:27Speaker 9: money ready, yep, okay? Why is Mayor Adams going to
- 22:33Speaker 9: Albania on the taxpayer dime? Do you have any idea
- 22:38Speaker 9: why he's going to Albania for four days and we're
- 22:42Speaker 9: paying for it.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Well, it's important business for him. It is office in
- 22:52Speaker 1: January and he needs some business, if you know what
- 22:54Speaker 1: I mean.
- 22:55Speaker 9: Ah, Now he only has what a couple more months,
- 23:01Speaker 9: and so he's running up a huge tab to go
- 23:05Speaker 9: to Albania. I mean, come on, these guys don't even
- 23:08Speaker 9: try to hide the corruption. They don't even try to
- 23:11Speaker 9: hide it in New York anymore. They kind of wave
- 23:13Speaker 9: it around. My god is if you know Alania, if.
- 23:19Speaker 1: You know you're leaving in two months, you know you
- 23:21Speaker 1: take longer lunches, you steal more office supplies, you do
- 23:24Speaker 1: everything in the last couple of months.
- 23:25Speaker 9: I don't mind longer lunches or him taking pens, But
- 23:29Speaker 9: to fly to Albania, that's got me a little agitated.
- 23:35Speaker 1: You get the feeling there's some business there, some sort
- 23:38Speaker 1: of al Sharpton sort of kind of a deal being there. Yeah,
- 23:41Speaker 1: I know something.
- 23:42Speaker 9: I had never been to Albania, but I was on
- 23:46Speaker 9: the island of Corfu, beautiful Italian island, and you could
- 23:52Speaker 9: see Albania, and but that's a rough place, Albania. You
- 23:58Speaker 9: don't want to just go over there and start hiking.
- 24:00Speaker 9: You're not going to.
- 24:01Speaker 1: Come back, That's true. Hey, the Yankees tonight, eight o'clock,
- 24:07Speaker 1: what's going to happen?
- 24:09Speaker 9: I'll be there. You know, it's really not a great
- 24:16Speaker 9: time for New York sports fans. We are the Mets
- 24:23Speaker 9: collapsing totally, the Jets are zero and five, the Giants
- 24:28Speaker 9: are one and four, and the Yankees are owing two
- 24:32Speaker 9: versus the Blue Jays. I blame it all.
- 24:36Speaker 1: On ma'm donnie.
- 24:38Speaker 9: I'm blaming all these setbacks on the sporting fields on
- 24:44Speaker 9: ma'm donnie. Why not, why not blame it on him?
- 24:49Speaker 9: I mean, that's what we're going to be doing for
- 24:50Speaker 9: the next four Years's wrong, we're blaming man Donni.
- 24:55Speaker 1: Hey. Next week now, next Thursday, the sixteenth, is the
- 24:58Speaker 1: first mayoral debate. It's possible Curtis could shake things up
- 25:01Speaker 1: and maybe change the direction of the race. Isn't it.
- 25:04Speaker 2: No.
- 25:08Speaker 9: No, The problem is that that there are so many
- 25:11Speaker 9: uninformed New York City voters. They just vote as they're
- 25:16Speaker 9: told to vote by the machine or the pastors, the
- 25:20Speaker 9: reverends and the churches, and they don't know a lot
- 25:25Speaker 9: of them have given up. They know that it's very
- 25:27Speaker 9: hard to live in this city. It's very expensive, and
- 25:31Speaker 9: why not get man Donnie in to blow the whole
- 25:33Speaker 9: thing up. So you know, Curtis, he'll take Staten Island.
- 25:38Speaker 9: But I don't see him. If he gets twenty percent,
- 25:42Speaker 9: I'll be surprised.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Wow. But you know, Clomo's a terrible debater. He talks
- 25:48Speaker 1: too slow like this. Donnie's a great debater. Curtis is
- 25:51Speaker 1: a great debater. Won't Clomo look very weak compared to
- 25:54Speaker 1: these two? And that'll be the end of him.
- 25:56Speaker 9: You know, I said this, I believe on a Simon
- 25:59Speaker 9: show last week. I know a lot of people, so
- 26:02Speaker 9: to you, I mean, we're like lifelong New Yorkers. We
- 26:06Speaker 9: know the turf. I don't know one human being, not
- 26:09Speaker 9: one outside of his family, that likes Andrew Cuomo.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Well, I don't know about the family that might even
- 26:16Speaker 1: be in question.
- 26:17Speaker 9: Well, I mean I know Chris Cuoma loves his and
- 26:21Speaker 9: I respect that, by the way. Yeah, but I don't
- 26:24Speaker 9: know one human being that likes Andrew Cuomo. And that
- 26:28Speaker 9: is a huge problem for the former governor because he'd
- 26:33Speaker 9: be a much better mayor than man Donnie. There's no
- 26:35Speaker 9: doubt about it. He knows how to run stuff. Not
- 26:39Speaker 9: that he would be, you know, a positive force, but
- 26:45Speaker 9: I don't think it would hurt the city the way
- 26:47Speaker 9: Man Donnie will. But boy, oh boy, he's got a
- 26:51Speaker 9: perception problem. People just don't They don't son like him,
- 26:55Speaker 9: that's it.
- 26:56Speaker 1: Yeah, but he really hurt us as governor with his
- 26:58Speaker 1: no bail, no jail closing the prisoner.
- 27:00Speaker 9: He did because he caves. He did what they all do.
- 27:05Speaker 9: Schumer's done this. They cave to the far left. They're
- 27:08Speaker 9: afraid of them because the far left dominates the Internet.
- 27:14Speaker 9: I wrote a column on Bill O'Reilly dot com on Sunday,
- 27:17Speaker 9: and I hope every WR listener reads it about how
- 27:23Speaker 9: the influencers on the far left are being bribed so
- 27:28Speaker 9: the tune of one hundred thousand dollars a year to
- 27:31Speaker 9: write trash on the Internet to attack anyone who goes
- 27:37Speaker 9: up against the far left orthodoxy. We got names, we
- 27:41Speaker 9: got figures. All that is on Billoreilly dot com. It's
- 27:47Speaker 9: called corrupting the Chorus because the main outfit that's paying
- 27:52Speaker 9: these people on the internet, it's bribes, all right, it's bribes.
- 27:58Speaker 9: They're called a chorus and they operate out of DC
- 28:05Speaker 9: and it's it's an amazing, amazing thing because there's no
- 28:09Speaker 9: standards of behavior on the internet at all. If these
- 28:15Speaker 9: guys want to bribe you to say what they want
- 28:18Speaker 9: you to say, nobody's going to interfere with that. It's shocking.
- 28:23Speaker 1: If we had legitimate real news media, now this would
- 28:26Speaker 1: have all been exposed, wouldn't it in the old day?
- 28:28Speaker 9: Sure, I mean I have to do this. I'm an independent,
- 28:32Speaker 9: My news agency is independent. You're never going to hear
- 28:35Speaker 9: this on any of the cables or any of the
- 28:37Speaker 9: network news. Never gonna hear it. And because they're in
- 28:42Speaker 9: business to cater to an audience as well. And now
- 28:46Speaker 9: we got to shake up at CBS with this Barry
- 28:49Speaker 9: Weiss coming in, who's pro Israel and anti woke. Okay,
- 28:54Speaker 9: but boy oh boy, I work for CBS and that's
- 28:56Speaker 9: a tough outfit to crack, because you all the troops
- 29:00Speaker 9: are left wing all of them and they're gonna wipe
- 29:03Speaker 9: them all out.
- 29:04Speaker 1: Maybe, well, it's not very encouraging this kind, but everybody
- 29:11Speaker 1: should get Bill O'Reilly's book, Confronting Evil. This is a
- 29:14Speaker 1: powerful book. You won't believe the Putin chapter. It's an
- 29:18Speaker 1: amazing book. The Confronting Evil number one bestseller. Go get
- 29:22Speaker 1: the book. Go to billo'reilly dot com and read the
- 29:25Speaker 1: column is called the chorus.
- 29:28Speaker 9: It's corrupting the chorus. That's the column. Important column because
- 29:34Speaker 9: nobody knows anything about this, that these people are taking
- 29:39Speaker 9: big money to write propaganda and there's nobody can do
- 29:46Speaker 9: anything about it. I mean, it's shocking.
- 29:48Speaker 1: Wow.
- 29:49Speaker 9: And that's why you don't see people like me on
- 29:52Speaker 9: Good Morning America or the Jimmy Kimmel Show or anything
- 29:56Speaker 9: like that, because the far left on the internet will smash,
- 30:01Speaker 9: i mean really vitriolically, go after any host that would
- 30:06Speaker 9: put on anybody who's not a progressive. And that's what's
- 30:09Speaker 9: going on.
- 30:10Speaker 1: Wow, Everybody, go read it. Go to Bill O'Reilly dot com.
- 30:12Speaker 1: You can see the TV show there too. Hey, Mixture,
- 30:14Speaker 1: watch his YouTube channel. Great stuff, Bill O'Reilly, thanks for
- 30:18Speaker 1: being with us.
- 30:19Speaker 9: Thanks having me Mark appreciate it.
- 30:21Speaker 1: All right, take care. Hey, we've got a lot coming
- 30:24Speaker 1: up in the next hour. Curtis picks up a big endorsement.
- 30:26Speaker 1: We'll get to that. We'll get to Chicago and the
- 30:29Speaker 1: awful orders the police were given, and a whole lot
- 30:33Speaker 1: more to get to in the next hour on seven
- 30:35Speaker 1: to ten WR.
- 30:37Speaker 12: Hey's The Mark Samon Show on seven to TENR.
- 30:43Speaker 1: Well, yeah, Hey, the Yankee game is tonight eight pm
- 30:46Speaker 1: Yankee Stadium. It doesn't look good, it does. I mean,
- 30:52Speaker 1: they lost the first two games. Okay, there are times
- 30:56Speaker 1: where somebody lost the first two games and come back,
- 30:58Speaker 1: not very often. But the problem is they didn't just
- 31:01Speaker 1: lose the first two games. They really lost the first
- 31:05Speaker 1: two games. It's not like you said, wow, that was close.
- 31:08Speaker 1: It wasn't close. It was And they just can't see.
- 31:12Speaker 1: They can't seem to there's no pitching, they can't seem
- 31:15Speaker 1: to hold the opposition down to less than a double
- 31:18Speaker 1: digit runs. So it's going to be a problem tonight. Hey,
- 31:21Speaker 1: we got a lot to get to in the next hour.
- 31:23Speaker 1: Don't go away. I'll be back right after the news
- 31:25Speaker 1: another hour ago. Mark Simone here on seven to ten WR.
- 31:31Speaker 1: Now more Mark Simone on seven ten. Wr Well, it's
- 31:37Speaker 1: October seventh. It's a two year anniversary of that horrible,
- 31:40Speaker 1: horrible day that was the nine to eleven for Israel.
- 31:44Speaker 1: October seventh is two years later. Hopefully the peace agreement
- 31:48Speaker 1: will happen at some point this week, President Trump saying
- 31:53Speaker 1: thought they were close. He did a great interview last night.
- 31:56Speaker 1: Greg Kelly reports The Great Show on Newsmax every night
- 32:00Speaker 1: nine o'clock. President Trump called in last night a great interview.
- 32:05Speaker 1: You talked about everything from a bad Bunny. You can
- 32:07Speaker 1: if you go to the Newsmax website or the Newsmax app,
- 32:10Speaker 1: you can watch last night's a great interview with President Trump,
- 32:13Speaker 1: followed by me, by the way, I was the next
- 32:15Speaker 1: guest on there. But great interview last night. So hey. Also,
- 32:21Speaker 1: it's October seventh. It's the twenty ninth anniversary of Well
- 32:29Speaker 1: on this day. In nineteen ninety six, October seventh, nineteen
- 32:32Speaker 1: ninety six, it was the debut of something called the
- 32:35Speaker 1: Fox News Channel. Now it was New Revolutionary. It just
- 32:42Speaker 1: kind of came on the air. Bill O'Reilly I think
- 32:44Speaker 1: was there from day one. I think Sean Hannity was
- 32:47Speaker 1: there from day one. But the day before the Fox
- 32:50Speaker 1: News Channel, it was the cable landscape was basically CNN,
- 32:56Speaker 1: was MSNBC there yet, No, I don't think it was.
- 32:58Speaker 1: It was CNN, and CNN had a second channel called
- 33:02Speaker 1: America's Talking that eventually became MSNBC. But before Fox News
- 33:08Speaker 1: started on this day in nineteen ninety six, the biggest
- 33:12Speaker 1: thing on cable, the one thing everybody watched was Larry
- 33:14Speaker 1: King Live. Every night at nine o'clock, it was Larry
- 33:18Speaker 1: King Live from Washington. And there's nothing like it today
- 33:23Speaker 1: because Larry King Live one night might be the House
- 33:28Speaker 1: Majority Leader, or it might be a senator, and the
- 33:31Speaker 1: next night it might be Suzanne Summers. You could do
- 33:35Speaker 1: that back in those days. You could be an entertainment show,
- 33:38Speaker 1: you could be a news show. You could have a
- 33:40Speaker 1: wide variety of people. Well, I guess you could still
- 33:42Speaker 1: do that on a Jimmy Fallon or The View. But
- 33:46Speaker 1: that's the way it was. And world leader, every world
- 33:48Speaker 1: leader would come on Larry King Live and it was
- 33:50Speaker 1: a major show. It was the number one show and
- 33:52Speaker 1: cable until the Fox News Channel came along and just
- 33:56Speaker 1: wiped out everything, CNN and everything, and then Bill O'Reilly
- 34:00Speaker 1: became the biggest show, and then Sean Hannity became the
- 34:02Speaker 1: biggest show, and then everything that fucked. But it's almost
- 34:05Speaker 1: thirty years, twenty nine years, incredible success. It's bigger than ever,
- 34:09Speaker 1: doing better than ever, while all the other cable networks
- 34:12Speaker 1: just fizzle out. Last night, speaking to Jimmy Fallon, Taylor
- 34:17Speaker 1: Swift was the guest. Hey, Roger Friedman will be with
- 34:22Speaker 1: a little later this hour. We'll talk to him about this.
- 34:24Speaker 1: She is unbelievable at merchandising, at marketing, at all of
- 34:30Speaker 1: that stuff. But there she was last night on Fallon.
- 34:34Speaker 1: This was like, well, the big appearance was last week.
- 34:36Speaker 1: It was right here down the hall. She was on
- 34:39Speaker 1: with Elvis Duran. That was the first big interview. But
- 34:43Speaker 1: Taylor Swift last night, Jimmy Fallon, I think.
- 34:45Speaker 13: For Travis the podcast was just sort of like a distraction,
- 34:48Speaker 13: sort of ruse to keep me not looking out the
- 34:52Speaker 13: windows of the house.
- 34:54Speaker 1: It was all happening, was the backyard normal when he
- 34:56Speaker 1: got there.
- 34:56Speaker 13: Like I don't every time he does the podcast. It's
- 34:59Speaker 13: not like he like blacks out all the windows, like
- 35:02Speaker 13: the drap's like fully like just blackout drapes on every
- 35:05Speaker 13: single window. Of the whole house.
- 35:07Speaker 1: Yeah, you're like, honey, this is real sacred.
- 35:09Speaker 13: It's serious about this, and I really appreciate that. But
- 35:12Speaker 13: then after what I kind of realized, like he's he's
- 35:17Speaker 13: walking around sort of nervous about the podcast. He's like,
- 35:20Speaker 13: my heart is racing. I just really want I know
- 35:22Speaker 13: how much this means to you, like really want this
- 35:24Speaker 13: to be what you hoped it would be.
- 35:27Speaker 1: Now, let me explain to the audience. This is supposed
- 35:30Speaker 1: to be a fascinating story. This is what late night
- 35:34Speaker 1: talk has become. It's not like when you watch Johnny
- 35:36Speaker 1: Carson highlights and there's Don Rickles, and there's this and this.
- 35:40Speaker 1: By today's standards of late night, this is supposed to
- 35:43Speaker 1: be a great story, fascinating. He's supposed to be hanging
- 35:46Speaker 1: on the edge of your seat watching this. And you
- 35:49Speaker 1: know they don't do an anniversary show. I remember Carson
- 35:51Speaker 1: used to do an anniversary show every year. We'd play
- 35:53Speaker 1: all the highlights. Fallon doesn't do that because there's no highlights.
- 35:55Speaker 1: But what would you play this there's no highlights. By
- 35:59Speaker 1: the end of the year, he's.
- 35:59Speaker 13: More he's just my favorite person.
- 36:01Speaker 1: He's talking about Travis Kelcey.
- 36:03Speaker 13: He's just my favorite person I've ever met. No offense
- 36:05Speaker 13: to everyone else, but the fact that the fact that
- 36:08Speaker 13: this is the person that I get to hang out
- 36:11Speaker 13: with every day forever is just like that's that's the
- 36:14Speaker 13: whole thing of it. You look at that and you're like,
- 36:16Speaker 13: I got to hang out with him forever, and this
- 36:17Speaker 13: represents that.
- 36:19Speaker 1: Oh oh now, let's be honest, you know, to each
- 36:23Speaker 1: his own. But when you look around the world at
- 36:26Speaker 1: all the people you've seen in the world, do you
- 36:29Speaker 1: say to yourself when you see Travis Kelcey, that's the
- 36:31Speaker 1: guy I want to hang out with. I mean, if
- 36:34Speaker 1: you didn't know who he was, he just looks like
- 36:36Speaker 1: a bouncer at a club or something. This is Do
- 36:38Speaker 1: you look at him and say this, this is who
- 36:39Speaker 1: I want to hang out with. This is who I
- 36:41Speaker 1: want to talk But you gotta give your credit. Hey,
- 36:46Speaker 1: we'll get we'll get to this later in the hour.
- 36:47Speaker 1: The merchandising, the marketing, this woman is a genius at it.
- 36:52Speaker 1: We'll get to all of that coming up. Hey, in Chicago,
- 36:56Speaker 1: you know, Ice is going around the country and they're
- 36:59Speaker 1: arresting ill Eagles. This is what you want them to do.
- 37:01Speaker 1: They're arresting illegals. They're not arresting any immigrants. They're not
- 37:06Speaker 1: arresting migrants. They're arresting illegals that are here illegally, and
- 37:11Speaker 1: they're taking these illegals off the streets, taking them to
- 37:14Speaker 1: court and deporting them. This is the whole idea. Thanks
- 37:18Speaker 1: to Biden and company, millions and millions and millions of
- 37:22Speaker 1: illegals broke into the country and they're being removed one
- 37:26Speaker 1: by one by Ice. He's doing a great job. So
- 37:29Speaker 1: you had these democrats are so angry, so nuts, so violent.
- 37:33Speaker 1: First you had protests around ICE and their headquarters and
- 37:38Speaker 1: the agents, and then you had riots around ICE, and
- 37:41Speaker 1: then you had at tax even had a guy shoot
- 37:44Speaker 1: at ICE agents. And now in Chicago, these ICE agents
- 37:48Speaker 1: there's a few cars. They're going to Chicago, and these
- 37:52Speaker 1: crazy left wing violent democrats got a caravan of cars.
- 37:57Speaker 1: They got like ten cars, and these left wing democrats
- 38:01Speaker 1: were armed automatic weapons, semi automatic weapons. They surrounded the
- 38:05Speaker 1: ICE agents, their cars, surrounded the ICE cars, boxed them
- 38:10Speaker 1: in and trapped them. It was an out and out ambush,
- 38:14Speaker 1: just like you see on Blue Bloods. You know when
- 38:16Speaker 1: Danny Reagan's transporting the prisoner and the drug cartel surround
- 38:20Speaker 1: his car and start firing it. But the same thing. Now,
- 38:23Speaker 1: where were the Chicago police? It turned out the ICE
- 38:26Speaker 1: agents they were in this ambush in the standoff. Eventually
- 38:30Speaker 1: the ICE agents had to pull their guns out and
- 38:32Speaker 1: start shooting defensively. But where were the police. Why didn't
- 38:36Speaker 1: the police move in and protect them? Well, they were
- 38:39Speaker 1: ordered not to by the Mayor of Chicago, and we
- 38:42Speaker 1: think by JB. Pritzker that fat Ralph Cramden, governor. The
- 38:47Speaker 1: police were there, they could have stopped this, They could
- 38:51Speaker 1: have saved the ICE agents, but they were told not to.
- 38:54Speaker 1: We have the actual audio. Now, this is the police
- 38:57Speaker 1: are there. They want to move in and say of
- 39:00Speaker 1: the ICE agents. Here's the actual audio. This is the
- 39:03Speaker 1: dispatcher ordering them not to do it.
- 39:05Speaker 6: And again per the Chief of Patrol, we have all
- 39:10Speaker 6: the units per nine. Chief of Patrol said, all units
- 39:15Speaker 6: clear out from there. We're not sending anybody over to
- 39:17Speaker 6: that location, right, and nine ninety nine just took him
- 39:21Speaker 6: from a thirty ninth place in Kezzie. They were saying
- 39:24Speaker 6: that they were being surrounded by that large crowd and
- 39:27Speaker 6: they were requesting the police were not sending waving off
- 39:31Speaker 6: all of the cars, having the thirty ninth place in Katzie.
- 39:36Speaker 1: Per chief of police, do not respond, let them get
- 39:40Speaker 1: shot at in that ambush. So the chief of police,
- 39:44Speaker 1: of course did not decide this on his own. The
- 39:47Speaker 1: mayor was behind him, and we assumed the governor that's
- 39:49Speaker 1: that fat slab Ralph Cramton, the governor of Illinois, Pritzker.
- 39:53Speaker 1: Here's what he had to say. We don't have a
- 39:55Speaker 1: lot of facts.
- 39:56Speaker 12: Remember, these are the same folks who killed a person,
- 40:01Speaker 12: unarmed person, just a couple of weeks ago in Franklin Park.
- 40:06Speaker 12: At first they said that the officer had been threatened
- 40:09Speaker 12: with his life. The reality of it and the truth
- 40:12Speaker 12: of it has now come out and that wasn't the case.
- 40:15Speaker 1: They killed somebody.
- 40:16Speaker 12: They are just putting out their propaganda, and then we've
- 40:20Speaker 12: got to later determine what actually happened.
- 40:23Speaker 1: We already know what happened. We've got surveillance footage, we've
- 40:25Speaker 1: got witnesses. We absolutely know what happened. The ice cars
- 40:30Speaker 1: were moving through Chicago. A group of violent, crazy left
- 40:34Speaker 1: wing democrats with ten cars surrounded them, boxed them in.
- 40:38Speaker 1: They had automatic weapons. We know this. This surveillance video.
- 40:43Speaker 1: Released the video. If you're going to do that active
- 40:46Speaker 1: we don't have the facts, release the video. Let's see it. Hey,
- 40:50Speaker 1: you might not realize this, there's a government shutdown. I
- 40:52Speaker 1: don't think anybody notices, you know, even if you watch
- 40:55Speaker 1: the crazy left wing stations, like you know, if you
- 40:58Speaker 1: watch MSNBC, the shutdown is like Storrer number twelve. It's
- 41:01Speaker 1: like twenty minutes into the hour they get to it.
- 41:04Speaker 1: And the problem is, you got Schumer, who's a ridiculous figure,
- 41:08Speaker 1: just the most ineffective leader in the world. Even the
- 41:11Speaker 1: John Stewart last night calling him America's flat tire. He's
- 41:14Speaker 1: like just a bad flat tire. Speaking of flat, you
- 41:17Speaker 1: got this jakeem Jefferies, who looks like a robot, who
- 41:21Speaker 1: just looks like a robut looks into the camera. He's
- 41:23Speaker 1: all stiff, and he's the worst spokesman.
- 41:25Speaker 14: Either Leader Schumer or myself have heard a word from
- 41:30Speaker 14: the administration about resolving this issue, making clear to us
- 41:35Speaker 14: that the White House wanted to shut the government down.
- 41:39Speaker 1: You got the I hate to say, I hate to
- 41:42Speaker 1: say continuing Resolution CR, clean CR, whatever the hell that is.
- 41:46Speaker 1: You could do the extension I think it's a seven
- 41:48Speaker 1: week extension. Just sign the damn thing. But do you
- 41:51Speaker 1: know what you don't want to sign it, don't sign it.
- 41:53Speaker 1: Nobody notices this government shutdown. Some people say, hey, we
- 41:58Speaker 1: just had a government shutdown for four years. It was
- 42:01Speaker 1: called the Biden administration. Oh, mayoral race, Rudy Giuliani has
- 42:06Speaker 1: endorsed Curtis Sliwa officially endorsement from Rudy Giuliani. Now his name,
- 42:12Speaker 1: some will argue, well, his name's a little tarnished right now.
- 42:14Speaker 1: But you know, whatever you think of Rudy Giuliani, he
- 42:17Speaker 1: is the world expert, the number one expert on earth
- 42:22Speaker 1: on how to run New York City. He's the greatest
- 42:24Speaker 1: mayor in the history of the world. Nobody knows more
- 42:28Speaker 1: about how to be mayor of New York than Rudy Giuliani.
- 42:31Speaker 1: And he has officially endorsed Curtis Sliwa. Now to counter that,
- 42:36Speaker 1: Cuomo keeps telling you, he keeps announcing these union into
- 42:39Speaker 1: the plumbers Union, the electricians union, and who the hell
- 42:43Speaker 1: cares you know. If I wanted to know who's going
- 42:46Speaker 1: to be a good mayor, I would ask Rudy Giuliani.
- 42:51Speaker 1: I wouldn't call my electrician and say, what do you think?
- 42:53Speaker 1: Who should I vote for?
- 42:54Speaker 6: It?
- 42:55Speaker 1: If I needed a light switch fixed, I might ask him,
- 42:57Speaker 1: but not who to vote for for mayor. So big endorsement,
- 43:02Speaker 1: and the debate is a week from Thursday. It's next week,
- 43:05Speaker 1: next Thursday, the sixteenth. That's the debate. That's where Curtis
- 43:11Speaker 1: could turn things around. So you know, Amazon has now
- 43:16Speaker 1: bought the rights to all the James Bond movies. They
- 43:19Speaker 1: own all the James von films. They're putting them up
- 43:21Speaker 1: on Amazon so you can watch them, buy them, rent them, whatever.
- 43:26Speaker 1: But Amazon, you know everybody's got to get that Charlie
- 43:29Speaker 1: Gasprino book, Go Woke, Go Broke. You got to read
- 43:32Speaker 1: that book Amazon Going Woke. I'm not kidding you. You know,
- 43:36Speaker 1: every James Bond movie had a great poster, you know,
- 43:40Speaker 1: on the movie theaters or on the cover of the
- 43:43Speaker 1: DVD or whatever. They have the great posters with Bond. Well,
- 43:47Speaker 1: they all had a gun. You remember, he'd posed with
- 43:48Speaker 1: the gun in his hand. Amazon has removed the guns
- 43:52Speaker 1: from the posters, so it's Bond with no gun. The
- 43:57Speaker 1: whole movie is about Bond shooting people, killing people. He
- 44:01Speaker 1: has a license to kill. That's the whole idea of Bond.
- 44:04Speaker 1: But they've removed the gun from the poster. So here's
- 44:07Speaker 1: one where he's like this with the gun with his
- 44:09Speaker 1: hand up here, so that you got to put something there,
- 44:12Speaker 1: so it's just like him holding his fist up. It
- 44:13Speaker 1: just looks weird. It's absolutely insane. If you're that woke,
- 44:17Speaker 1: don't sell Bond films. I mean, that's what he does
- 44:22Speaker 1: in the films. He blows up buildings, he shoots people,
- 44:24Speaker 1: he drives the people off a cliff. It's a license
- 44:27Speaker 1: to kill, which has never been explained. By the way,
- 44:31Speaker 1: who exactly issues that license to kill? Did you know
- 44:35Speaker 1: that England could issue you a license to kill? You
- 44:38Speaker 1: can go anywhere in the world, kill anybody. Anybody says
- 44:41Speaker 1: a word, I got, I got a license to kill. Oh, okay,
- 44:44Speaker 1: go ahead. It's the craziest. The whole Bond thing never
- 44:47Speaker 1: made any sense. It's fascinating that people take it seriously.
- 44:51Speaker 1: It makes no sense. You know, he's supposed to be
- 44:53Speaker 1: a secret agent, top secret agent. Now you notice in
- 44:57Speaker 1: the film wherever he goes anywhere in the world. He
- 44:59Speaker 1: goes to Monte Carlo, he goes to Hong Kong. He
- 45:01Speaker 1: walks into any bar, any hotel, and behind the desk,
- 45:05Speaker 1: the guy says, mister Bond, Oh, mister Bond, welcome. What
- 45:08Speaker 1: kind of secret agency? If every hotel clerk in the
- 45:11Speaker 1: world seems to know this guy, every casino guy knows him. Uh,
- 45:15Speaker 1: it's just a and you remember the way he would
- 45:18Speaker 1: order a drink when he'd order that martineus, I'll have
- 45:21Speaker 1: it shaken, not stirred. You know, nowadays you're lucky if
- 45:26Speaker 1: the waiter even comes back. If you think he's going
- 45:28Speaker 1: to get that right, shaken not stirred, you're a little crazy. Hey, Well,
- 45:32Speaker 1: take some calls in a minute. Eight hundred three two
- 45:35Speaker 1: one zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three
- 45:39Speaker 1: to two one zero seven ten. Set up pre sat
- 45:42Speaker 1: on the iHeartRadio app to douboar to hear Mark live.
- 45:46Speaker 1: Set another for Mark's podcast to hear him anytime. Now
- 45:51Speaker 1: back to Mark Simone on douboor. Hey, let's take some calls.
- 45:57Speaker 1: Eight hundred three two one zero seven is the number.
- 46:01Speaker 1: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten. Let's go
- 46:04Speaker 1: to doctor Bob, a great surgeon in Long Island. Doctor Bob,
- 46:07Speaker 1: how you doing.
- 46:09Speaker 7: I'm good, Mark, How are you good? Let me tell
- 46:11Speaker 7: you this is great news with Rudy's endorsement of Curtis,
- 46:14Speaker 7: and I think it's the start of a new surge.
- 46:17Speaker 7: And I'm hopeful that that Curtis has some really good
- 46:21Speaker 7: debate prep in mind, because I think it's going to
- 46:23Speaker 7: turn the tables on both his foes. I'd like to
- 46:26Speaker 7: see you as part of that debate prep. How can
- 46:29Speaker 7: you get involved with that?
- 46:30Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I talk to Curis all the time and
- 46:33Speaker 1: he's good donor. He's got great people prepping him. He's
- 46:35Speaker 1: got really good people, the best economic people. And remember
- 46:39Speaker 1: he's a professional debater for thirty five years and allmost
- 46:43Speaker 1: of the world's worst debater.
- 46:44Speaker 7: So you jus that is true.
- 46:47Speaker 1: What's that beeping in the backround? What are you doing?
- 46:49Speaker 1: Surgery right now?
- 46:50Speaker 7: As a matter of fact, they're working on one of
- 46:52Speaker 7: the neighbor's properties nearby, so it's a matter of fact
- 46:55Speaker 7: the golf course. So it's not a little little noisy there.
- 46:58Speaker 7: Oh sorry about that.
- 46:59Speaker 1: Well, golf course.
- 47:01Speaker 7: Uh like success, Oh okay, we do it to the
- 47:04Speaker 7: holes and uh, unbelievable job. And this crew is sensational.
- 47:09Speaker 7: They're dealing with the courses out in the Wait.
- 47:11Speaker 1: What are you talking about? You're a surgeon and you
- 47:13Speaker 1: fixed golf courses.
- 47:15Speaker 7: No, no, this is my time wolf.
- 47:17Speaker 1: Oh okay, a surgeon who cuts grass very surgically each
- 47:22Speaker 1: All right, thanks, thanks for calling. Let's go to uh
- 47:25Speaker 1: Sam and Staten Island. Sam. How you doing?
- 47:28Speaker 8: I mock?
- 47:29Speaker 4: How are you good?
- 47:31Speaker 10: All right? Good? Listen, Rudy. The Rudy endorsement is huge
- 47:35Speaker 10: and great.
- 47:36Speaker 1: I hate to break it to you now. It's now
- 47:37Speaker 1: twenty twenty five. It's huge with Republicans, but.
- 47:40Speaker 10: Not it's the guy had a rough couple of years,
- 47:45Speaker 10: but believe me, he was still the were the best
- 47:48Speaker 10: mayor in the city. Yeah, but I got a question.
- 47:51Speaker 10: Where was these guys like John Kastamatid He's been throughout
- 47:55Speaker 10: this whole thing.
- 47:55Speaker 1: Were you talking about? He's on the air every day.
- 47:57Speaker 1: He's Republicans. Hey, hey, hey, hey, stop yelling. Calm down.
- 48:03Speaker 1: What the hell are you talking about that guy? How
- 48:05Speaker 1: about the guy is on the radio every day.
- 48:07Speaker 10: Talking okay, energy, endorsing the Curtis all the time.
- 48:12Speaker 1: I don't think he's endorsing anybody. Remember, he's got a
- 48:14Speaker 1: radio show, he owns a radio station. I think he
- 48:16Speaker 1: you know, he loves Curtis, Curtis is part of his
- 48:18Speaker 1: family there, but uh, I don't think he's endorsing anybody publicly.
- 48:22Speaker 10: Yeah that's a shame.
- 48:24Speaker 1: Well, no, it's not a shame. I mean, you haven't
- 48:25Speaker 1: heard me endorse anybody. Obviously, I love Curtis, but I
- 48:27Speaker 1: don't officially endorse anybody. Okay, all right now listen, Sam, Yeah,
- 48:34Speaker 1: you gotta get control of yourself. You know, one of
- 48:36Speaker 1: these guys calls up yelling and screaming, and then you
- 48:39Speaker 1: get the facts later. You gotta you gotta know what
- 48:42Speaker 1: you're talking about first before the yelling.
- 48:45Speaker 10: Oh really, yeah, I'll practice that before I pull again.
- 48:49Speaker 1: Okay, thank you. See some people don't really care. They're
- 48:57Speaker 1: not they're not that they're actually not that interested. If
- 49:01Speaker 1: you have said, here's a four hundred page position paper,
- 49:05Speaker 1: explain the whole thing to you, they're not going to
- 49:07Speaker 1: They don't worry the one. They're just like the yell
- 49:08Speaker 1: and scream and carry on. It's like it's like sports
- 49:12Speaker 1: fans in a bar. They don't want to really study
- 49:15Speaker 1: the game that they just want to go. Now the
- 49:17Speaker 1: Jets are gonna win. Now the Giants are gonna win. Now,
- 49:19Speaker 1: the Jets are gonna win. So where's all the calls?
- 49:21Speaker 1: We don't have any calls. You never heard this happen before,
- 49:25Speaker 1: is it me? There's no calls all of a sudden,
- 49:28Speaker 1: I've never ever seen that happen. Oh hey, by the way,
- 49:31Speaker 1: Chief Shell, great, the NYPD, Chief John Shell. You see
- 49:35Speaker 1: him all over television. You know the face. He was
- 49:37Speaker 1: like the face of the NYPD there for a couple
- 49:40Speaker 1: of years. But retiring. We wish him well and everybody
- 49:45Speaker 1: will miss him. Hey, great news. President Trump on truth
- 49:50Speaker 1: social and it's posted all over Twitter. Really went after
- 49:54Speaker 1: Al Sharpton yesterday, Great news, and he put up a
- 49:57Speaker 1: picture remember the old Al Sharpton with the jogging suit
- 50:00Speaker 1: when he was big fat Al Sharpton with the big
- 50:03Speaker 1: medallions around his neck and the jogging sit. He put
- 50:05Speaker 1: up one of those pictures and pointed out that Sharpton
- 50:09Speaker 1: was a close friend. He loved me. He loved me
- 50:12Speaker 1: for years. He begged me to come to all of
- 50:15Speaker 1: his fake rallies and I did a number of times
- 50:17Speaker 1: just to help him draw a crowd. And he goes
- 50:19Speaker 1: on and you got to go read it. It's really great.
- 50:22Speaker 1: Then he points out at some point Sharpton ran into
- 50:26Speaker 1: Brian Roberts, who owned Comcasts, the big, big, mega corporation
- 50:31Speaker 1: that was buying NBC, and when they were buying NBC
- 50:35Speaker 1: they needed help with the FCC. Sharpton helped. He went
- 50:37Speaker 1: and testified on behalf of Comcast to the great racial
- 50:42Speaker 1: hiring policies and all that kind of stuff, and apparently
- 50:45Speaker 1: was promised a TV show in return. That's why he
- 50:49Speaker 1: has an MSNBC TV show, Trump pointing out it's the
- 50:52Speaker 1: lowest rated show in the history of television. But they're
- 50:55Speaker 1: afraid to fire him and that's why he's still there. Oh,
- 50:58Speaker 1: here we go. Let's go to Bob in Vale, New Jersey. Bob,
- 51:01Speaker 1: how you doing good? How are you marketing? Taking my call?
- 51:05Speaker 4: Just wondering what vendor say the vendor gave up, like
- 51:10Speaker 4: the rights to have them tap into senators like phone calls,
- 51:15Speaker 4: and under what pretense.
- 51:17Speaker 1: Oh well, if you're a special counsel, special prosecutor, Department
- 51:20Speaker 1: of Justice and you show up at the phone company,
- 51:23Speaker 1: they'll turn over the records you show up. You know
- 51:26Speaker 1: that Jack Smith could go to some left wing kook
- 51:29Speaker 1: DC judge get a warrant. What are you gonna do.
- 51:31Speaker 1: If you're the phone company, you're not going to fight
- 51:33Speaker 1: with the Justice Department. You turn it over.
- 51:35Speaker 5: That's it.
- 51:36Speaker 6: Uh.
- 51:36Speaker 1: Hey, when we come back, Roger Friedman, The Great Entertainment Reporter,
- 51:40Speaker 1: we got to talk about this Taylor Swift. I mean,
- 51:42Speaker 1: forget the singing, the songwriting, all that great, but this
- 51:46Speaker 1: woman is a hell of a marketer, a hell of
- 51:48Speaker 1: a businesswoman. She's figured out every angle. We'll get to
- 51:51Speaker 1: that next on seven to ten. Wore blogged into Everything
- 51:56Speaker 1: New York.
- 51:57Speaker 5: I'm the voice of New York.
- 51:58Speaker 8: Mark them.
- 52:03Speaker 11: Well.
- 52:03Speaker 1: Roger Friedman, The Great Entertainment Reporter is a website. You
- 52:06Speaker 1: should check it every day. There's always new stuff up there.
- 52:09Speaker 1: Showbiz for one one dot com, Showbiz for one one
- 52:13Speaker 1: dot com. Roger Friedman, how you doing?
- 52:16Speaker 5: I'm okay?
- 52:17Speaker 4: Are you?
- 52:18Speaker 5: Have you been talking politics this morning?
- 52:20Speaker 6: No?
- 52:20Speaker 1: We never talked politics.
- 52:22Speaker 5: Well, Mark, who you're voting for? From mayor?
- 52:26Speaker 1: Oh? I love that, mom, Donnie. He's great, don't you
- 52:29Speaker 1: think you know?
- 52:30Speaker 5: It's just I just have to say before we get
- 52:33Speaker 5: into a conversation about Hollywood, which I want to do
- 52:36Speaker 5: because I saw a great movie last night. Everyone's gonna
- 52:39Speaker 5: love this cannot go on with mom Donnie. And you know,
- 52:43Speaker 5: his mother is a film director and she's a wonderful person.
- 52:47Speaker 5: Let me tell you. I know her, and she's a
- 52:49Speaker 5: great lady. But this is not acceptable. And I'm voting
- 52:54Speaker 5: for Andrew Cuomo despite all of his baggage. And I
- 52:59Speaker 5: just wanted to say it's your listeners. I'm going to
- 53:01Speaker 5: say this four more times this month to make sure
- 53:03Speaker 5: everyone knows.
- 53:05Speaker 1: Please vote for Andrew Cuomo.
- 53:07Speaker 8: Kurt.
- 53:07Speaker 5: Okay, I'm not going to vote for Curtis, but I
- 53:10Speaker 5: like him a lot. Okay, yeah, I like him. I
- 53:13Speaker 5: like his spirit.
- 53:13Speaker 1: This mom, Donnie mother, the filmmaker, she they seem to
- 53:16Speaker 1: be a lot, a great person, but how successful I'm
- 53:20Speaker 1: not familiar with her film I mean, she's a na year.
- 53:22Speaker 5: Oh she made a Monsoon wedding. She's made great movies.
- 53:28Speaker 5: Oh The Namesake is a movie I adore. She's a
- 53:31Speaker 5: great filmmaker. And if you met her and you would
- 53:35Speaker 5: say she's a fabulous person. She's not anti Semitics, she's
- 53:38Speaker 5: not any of these things. But regardless of how much
- 53:42Speaker 5: I love the mother, I just have to say, the
- 53:44Speaker 5: son really should find another job.
- 53:46Speaker 1: All right, Well, Okay, they sound like great films. They're
- 53:49Speaker 1: not Casino or good Fellows, but they sound like good.
- 53:51Speaker 5: No, she made she's made great films, and she's and
- 53:54Speaker 5: she's very well liked and everyone should be nice to her.
- 53:57Speaker 1: And well, you know, we'll work on that.
- 54:00Speaker 5: And I'm glad that her son wants a job. But
- 54:02Speaker 5: this isn't really We're going to go a different way, all.
- 54:05Speaker 1: Right, Hey, let's talk about something more important. Taylor Swift.
- 54:09Speaker 1: How success? My god, how successful was this album in numbers?
- 54:13Speaker 1: In actual metrics?
- 54:14Speaker 5: Okay, so they're saying that she sold they're saying that
- 54:17Speaker 5: she's going to sell through Friday three million albums or
- 54:20Speaker 5: maybe more, maybe four million. A lot of that is
- 54:23Speaker 5: from streaming. It's not from CBS, although a lot will
- 54:26Speaker 5: be from CBS, LPs, cassettes.
- 54:29Speaker 1: Wait, wait, wait and wait, you can buy a CD.
- 54:31Speaker 1: I didn't even know they still existed.
- 54:33Speaker 5: Oh but you can. People buy CBS all the time,
- 54:35Speaker 5: and in fact they're popular. Again I heard, and LPs
- 54:38Speaker 5: are popular. And for some reason, Taylor Swift sells cassettes.
- 54:43Speaker 5: I have no idea what people play them on. But
- 54:46Speaker 5: so she sold a lot of records then on Apple,
- 54:49Speaker 5: on iTunes, she's made it so that the album can
- 54:53Speaker 5: only be bought in whole. You cannot buy a single
- 54:56Speaker 5: from it. It's only the whole album. And now she's
- 54:59Speaker 5: made the whole album four ninety nine because she wants
- 55:02Speaker 5: to break records so that you know, people will buy
- 55:06Speaker 5: so many copies of four ninety nine regular iTunes download
- 55:12Speaker 5: is like eleven ninety nine. So they're doing every they're
- 55:15Speaker 5: bending over backwards to get break records. Here Adele with
- 55:21Speaker 5: her twenty five album in twenty fifteen, she sold I
- 55:24Speaker 5: think three point four million, So they're trying to break
- 55:27Speaker 5: that record and they'll do anything they can to do it.
- 55:30Speaker 1: Now, did she also release like an extended album with
- 55:33Speaker 1: all sorts of extra stuff.
- 55:34Speaker 5: Yeah, she's got four more CDs that you can buy
- 55:38Speaker 5: in addition to this that are eight dollars apiece, and
- 55:42Speaker 5: they would add on to the sales. They keep looking
- 55:45Speaker 5: every day they add on some new thing to build.
- 55:48Speaker 5: These teenage girls. I have to say, they deserve to
- 55:51Speaker 5: be at the Wharton School of Business or at Harvard MBA.
- 55:55Speaker 5: They should be studying Taylor Swiss marketing. It is absolutely genius.
- 56:00Speaker 5: Well your life thing I have the negative thing I
- 56:04Speaker 5: have to say about Taylor Swift is that several of
- 56:06Speaker 5: the songs sound like other people's songs, and the fans
- 56:12Speaker 5: immediately discovered this on Friday when the album came out.
- 56:16Speaker 5: And one of the songs is the title song of
- 56:18Speaker 5: the album is called The Life of a Showgirl, is
- 56:21Speaker 5: a direct ripoff of a Jonas Brothers song called Cool.
- 56:24Speaker 5: You listen to it and you think, well, how does
- 56:26Speaker 5: she get away with this? I don't know. I don't
- 56:28Speaker 5: know how she's going to get away with it, but
- 56:31Speaker 5: it's very weird. The whole thing with this album seems
- 56:35Speaker 5: to be more about having success with it than making
- 56:39Speaker 5: it a good album, you know what I mean?
- 56:41Speaker 1: Yeah, Now she's also got everything else, sweaters, mittens, T shirts, right,
- 56:46Speaker 1: merchandise crazy.
- 56:47Speaker 5: Oh yeah, she's very big on sweaters. You can buy
- 56:49Speaker 5: a Taylor Swift cardigan. It says it's emblazoned with the
- 56:53Speaker 5: letters TS on it. I guess you could say it's
- 56:54Speaker 5: Times Square.
- 56:57Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 56:58Speaker 5: I mean, she's selling every thing on her website, anything
- 57:01Speaker 5: that isn't nailed down as being sold for Taylor Swift.
- 57:04Speaker 5: And you try to imagine that back in our heyday,
- 57:09Speaker 5: that Joni Mitchell or Carol Ken or Carly Simon would do.
- 57:12Speaker 5: Didn't do anything like this. They just put out records
- 57:15Speaker 5: that have lasted fifty years. But they didn't you know that.
- 57:19Speaker 5: You couldn't buy key chains or anything else that I
- 57:21Speaker 5: know of. So it's very strange the whole thing.
- 57:25Speaker 1: Yeah, but of question, it was a different world then.
- 57:26Speaker 1: All you had was radio and TV. You didn't have
- 57:28Speaker 1: the Internet, you didn't have social you didn't have any
- 57:31Speaker 1: of that stuff. That's true. So, Hey, a lot of
- 57:33Speaker 1: controversy over Bad Bunny, but you know, I watched him
- 57:36Speaker 1: on Saturday Night Live. He's kind of a charming guy,
- 57:39Speaker 1: that Bad Bunny.
- 57:40Speaker 5: He's very charming. Yeah, he's very charming and he's a
- 57:43Speaker 5: lot of fun. He'll make a great super Bowl show.
- 57:45Speaker 5: He's going to make a great show. I don't know what.
- 57:49Speaker 5: I don't know why people got so excited about because.
- 57:51Speaker 1: He said horrible things about political stuff.
- 57:53Speaker 5: But well he didn't He doesn't want to tour the
- 57:56Speaker 5: country because he doesn't want his fans to be arrested
- 57:58Speaker 5: during the shows. Yeah, but a legitimate concern. But he
- 58:03Speaker 5: is Puerto Rican, and you know Puerto Ricans are actually American.
- 58:07Speaker 1: You're kidding, Oh my god, No, did you know that
- 58:11Speaker 1: now thing was my Oh but how big is he?
- 58:16Speaker 1: I mean, I I've heard him, I've heard his music.
- 58:18Speaker 5: But for the super.
- 58:20Speaker 1: Bowl, aren't you supposed to be like Michael Jackson Taylor
- 58:22Speaker 1: Swift kind of big?
- 58:23Speaker 5: Oh he's already sold. He put out an album last January.
- 58:27Speaker 5: It's sold almost three million copies since then. This that's
- 58:32Speaker 5: just that album altogether this year of twenty twenty five,
- 58:36Speaker 5: and it's only October or whatever it is seventh he
- 58:39Speaker 5: sold about five million records this year. So he's hugely popular.
- 58:45Speaker 5: And he just in Puerto Rico. He just did this
- 58:47Speaker 5: you know, thirty day residency in one of their you know,
- 58:51Speaker 5: spectacular show places. People from the States were flying there
- 58:56Speaker 5: to see it. Huh So it was sold out every night.
- 58:59Speaker 5: Oh yeah, it was like the hot ticket was going
- 59:01Speaker 5: to Puerto Rico to see Bad Bunny. So you know,
- 59:04Speaker 5: he's going to have a great super Bowl show. Everyone
- 59:07Speaker 5: should be happy with him when.
- 59:08Speaker 1: He does it.
- 59:09Speaker 5: They're all going to say, like, like, you remember when
- 59:11Speaker 5: Ricky Martin did the Grammys twenty years ago. He did
- 59:14Speaker 5: live in LaVita Loca and people were like, who is
- 59:17Speaker 5: this guy? Everyone fell in love with him. That's what
- 59:19Speaker 5: bad Bunny will be like on the Super Bowl?
- 59:21Speaker 1: It's pretty good. You know, you go back, you look
- 59:22Speaker 1: at the original Super Bowl. The halftime was like Anty
- 59:26Speaker 1: Williams or people.
- 59:30Speaker 5: Let's not knock Andy Williams. Oh he was a great guy.
- 59:35Speaker 5: He was a lovely guy. Now, last night I went
- 59:37Speaker 5: to this movie at the New York Film Festival. It
- 59:39Speaker 5: was the surprise screening of the festival. Except by the
- 59:43Speaker 5: time you got there there was no secret. Even the
- 59:46Speaker 5: I said, even the hot dog vendors knew what was
- 59:48Speaker 5: going on. But the place was packed and it was
- 59:50Speaker 5: for a new movie starring Timothy Challome. And the movie
- 59:54Speaker 5: is called Marty Supreme.
- 59:56Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, it's about Marty Reaestman. I actually knew the guy.
- 1:00:00Speaker 5: Did you know him very well?
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:00:03Speaker 9: You knew him.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: Yeah, it's about Martys a ping kong player. What he was,
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: the world champion ping pong player of all time? Yes,
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: And Marty Supreme is the movie. And that's gonna debut
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: in Christmas Day, I think, But what was how good here?
- 1:00:18Speaker 5: It's fabulous. It's an A plus movie. It's four stars.
- 1:00:21Speaker 5: It's everything. It was so great. So it's such exciting
- 1:00:25Speaker 5: filmmaking by Josh safty and Tallome is going to probably
- 1:00:29Speaker 5: get the Oscar for Best Actor. Was the was the
- 1:00:32Speaker 5: real guy a fast talker, like a Damon Runyon kind
- 1:00:35Speaker 5: of character.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: It's a real Damon Runyon captain. And he talked like
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: this and he was, Yeah, that was him.
- 1:00:41Speaker 5: Well, he's got it. He's Timothy Tallome is twenty nine
- 1:00:44Speaker 5: years old. He'll be thirty in December. He has nailed
- 1:00:47Speaker 5: this thing down. And I'm telling you it's so exciting
- 1:00:51Speaker 5: and everyone in the cast is great. I'll tell your
- 1:00:53Speaker 5: friend Dresher plays his mother, which is really funny. She's terrific.
- 1:00:57Speaker 5: Santra Bernhardt's and oh, two of your friends are in it. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:01:02Speaker 5: John Catsimatidis.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: And you know why John's in terrific? You know why?
- 1:01:07Speaker 5: Did he know him too?
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: Yeah? In real life he was actually his landlord. He
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: owned the building where Marty's had.
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: Wow, they didn't tell us this last night because we
- 1:01:16Speaker 5: only saw the movie. But John Cassimatidas, who looks great
- 1:01:21Speaker 5: on screen by the way, he's he should be doing
- 1:01:24Speaker 5: character acting in every movie. Yeah, he's fabulous. And Kevin
- 1:01:28Speaker 5: O'Leary from Shark Tank, Yeah, has has a big part
- 1:01:31Speaker 5: in the movie. And he's terrific. He really holds his
- 1:01:35Speaker 5: own he's really played a nasty guy. He's married in
- 1:01:38Speaker 5: the movie to Gwyneth Paltrow, who plays sort of a
- 1:01:42Speaker 5: has been movie star, and he's the rich guy who
- 1:01:45Speaker 5: married her and now she can't get away from him.
- 1:01:48Speaker 5: And it's a subplot in the movie. It's very good.
- 1:01:51Speaker 5: And there's a new girl in there whose name is
- 1:01:54Speaker 5: Odessa as Ion, who's going to get a nomination for
- 1:01:57Speaker 5: Best Supporting afters. She's terrific. So the movie is going
- 1:02:01Speaker 5: to be spectacular. But I'm so impressed that you knew him.
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I'll in fact, when we get off, I'll
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: send you some pictures of me and him, Marty Supreme.
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: His real name was Marty Reisman. And so you would
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: say next year this could be one of the biggest
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: films of the year.
- 1:02:16Speaker 5: Yes, you know. Right now we have one battle after
- 1:02:19Speaker 5: another with Leonardo DiCaprio on Sean Pan which is really
- 1:02:22Speaker 5: sort of on the fast track for the Best Picture.
- 1:02:25Speaker 5: But this one is going to give a lot of trouble.
- 1:02:27Speaker 5: This that we're going to have a real race in
- 1:02:30Speaker 5: February and March for the Oscars. Well, great, it's going
- 1:02:33Speaker 5: to be great.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: Great stuff. We're out of time, but everybody go check
