  We hear you knocking, Father, and we invite you in.

  Lord, we want to dine and suck with you.

  Sumptuously. And feast upon these words.

  God, we break bread. And we drink.

  Your blood, father. And we desire to remember.

  What you have? Done for us.

  Paul, Silas, Timothy unto the Church.
• 3:27
  Of the. Thessalonians, which is in.
• 3:29
  God the Father. And in the Lord.

  Jesus Christ, Grace. Be unto you, and peace from.

  God our Father. And the Lord.

  Jesus Christ. This is what you need to
• 3:44
  understand friends is that. Paul, here is.
• 3:48
  Letting the Thessalonians know that he is a team, he's not a
• 3:51
  one man band. And listen friends, we need to
• 3:54
  be an encouragement to others, and no man is an island.
• 3:59
  We need to. Have those that we are.

  Discipling. This disciple cycle.

  You need to. Be discipled.
• 4:06
  And then you need to have someone that you are discipling
• 4:09
  friends and no man is above reproof.

  And Paul? Here had.

  Put in, put himself under the. Lordship of our Lord Jesus

  Christ. He's put himself under the
• 4:25
  teachings of Jesus and then Timothy and Silas.

  Were there to. Learn from Paul, and it is.

  This beautiful stair step of discipleship.

  That is being modeled here and we.

  Need to know that Paul supported himself.

  And that as he invited these missionaries on these journeys

  Silas are, and we remember Silas as.

  Being the one that was imprisoned with Paul.

  And we remember. Timothy as being brought up in

  the scriptures. And he was half.

  Greek and half Jew, and his mother and his grandmother
• 5:05
  taught him from. Conception about the.

  Ways of Judaism and look at this amazing team that God has put.

  Together to glorify. And to magnify and to propagate.

  The early church. And here these Thessalonians had
• 5:20
  only been. Taught for three weeks by Paul.

  And Paul went hard. And Paul went went deep with
• 5:26
  them and gave them profound eschatology friends and theology
• 5:31
  friends. In a short time he had given
• 5:34
  them so much richness it was like trying to drink water.

  Out of a. Fire hydrant and Paul here is
• 5:41
  stirring them back into remembrance of all the things
• 5:44
  that he had taught them and they.

  Were established in. Christ and in God Almighty and

  God. Was well pleased to pour out his

  spirit here. In this land of Thessalonica and

  this. Is the earliest letter that Paul

  Churches, and perhaps it was right after he.

  Left there and he had. Heard about all the.

  Persecution that they were having to go through and Paul
• 6:13
  wanted to encourage them. So he sat.

  Down what the enemy meant for. Evil God was going to use for
• 6:20
  great good, so he sat. Down and he pinned this.

  Letter to them. And now we get a chance to go
• 6:27
  back and to. Read this letter.

  And to be greatly encouraged of all the things that have not
• 6:32
  happened yet, friends, things that have happened are happening
• 6:36
  and. We are encouraged.

  By the predictions and all the. Prophecy.

  That we find in these. 2 letters of first.

  And 2nd Thessalonians. Let's go to verse 2.

  We give thanks to God. Always for you.

  All making mention of you in. Our prayers.

  So that is what we should. All be doing we don't get to
• 6:58
  just. Go about.

  Our lives thinking about self, thinking about gain, thinking

  about all of. The current world.

  Events. Let's be people that are.
• 7:11
  Rooted and grounded in. Prayer.
• 7:13
  Pray without. Ceasing rejoice always friends,
• 7:17
  don't worry about anything. But pray about.
• 7:20
  Everything take. Every thought captive.
• 7:22
  And make it obedient unto Christ and.
• 7:26
  Use it. As a means to pray unto God.
• 7:29
  Pray why? Eyes wide.
• 7:31
  Open pray, driving down the. Road Pray.
• 7:34
  As you're in. The store.

  Or in your. Workplace pray on your knees.

  Pray on your. Face.

  Friends, pray every single moment of every day turn all of
• 7:43
  your thoughts into a prayer life, friends, and Paul is
• 7:47
  letting the Thessalonians know that he is always giving thanks
• 7:52
  for them and he. Has heard about what is.
• 7:54
  Happening there. He has heard about the church
• 7:56
  that is well established. And well grounded.

  And they are an encouragement to Paul.

  And every time that he thinks of them, he is praying for them.

  Verse 3. Remembering without ceasing.

  Your work. Of faith and.
• 8:13
  Labor of love. And patience of hope in our
• 8:17
  Lord. Jesus Christ.

  In the sight of God and. Our Father look at how faith,

  hope and love are the characteristics of the.
• 8:29
  Christian walk, friends, you can't get away from it.
• 8:33
  And the greatest of these is love.

  Let's look at how all of these. Attributes are not just high
• 8:40
  sounding. Spiritual platitudes for us.
• 8:46
  To sit and try to figure out they.
• 8:48
  All have outward. Physical connotations attached
• 8:53
  to them friends look at how. Paul draws the.
• 8:56
  Line between our faith and our works.
• 9:00
  Look at how he says without. Ceasing friends, that is what.
• 9:04
  It takes pray without. Ceasing and we.
• 9:07
  Are to live. Without ceasing from the holy
• 9:12
  indwelling presence of the. Spirit of God.

  Working mightily in our lives, we never get to compartmentalize
• 9:20

  He says that his yoke is easy. His burden is light.

  This is beautiful. When our faith.

  Produces the work that we. Go out into the harvest and then

  this. Labor of love.

  This is whenever we are building.

  Houses for those. Who have nothing.

  This is whenever. We are.

  Helping people to change a tire. This is whenever.

  We are helping to put. A new.
• 10:19
  Roof on somebody's house. This is whenever we are.
• 10:22
  Actually putting our. Faith to the test we This is a
• 10:27
  labor of love. The love that we have for others
• 10:31
  will produce the sweat. Drenching love, friends, it
• 10:36
  will. Produce the labor that actually
• 10:38
  puts. Our faith into action, friends.
• 10:41
  And then? Also he tells us about this.
• 10:46
  Patience of. Hope.
• 10:47
  The hope that we. Have will.
• 10:49
  Produce the perseverance. And the patience, the endurance,
• 10:52
  and the long-suffering that is pleasing to God and we.
• 10:56
  Will be able. To stand the test of time, we.

  Will be able to. Persevere whenever everything

  says give up and turn around. We keep pressing.

  Towards the goal. And we know that this is not it.

  World is just a. The vapor and it's passing.

  Away quickly. Friends and we.

  Press towards the goal. We have hope that we will.

  Receive immortal bodies and where?
• 11:25
  He is we. Will be one day and we will see
• 11:28
  the glorious return of our King, friends.

  And that is the hope. That we possess that.
• 11:34
  This is not it. There's so much more.

  To the story than what you can see 4.

  Knowing brothers, beloved. Your.

  Election of God. What a loaded verse here.

  Friends, you need to know that you.
• 11:50
  Are beloved. And you just need to be.

  Loved. Friends know that.

  God loves you. And that you are chosen and

  predestined before the foundations of the earth and the
• 12:04
  indwelling of the. Holy Spirit.

  Enables you to know this fact and Paul.

  For three weeks. Did not hold back on any of.

  These deep theological. Substances from the.
• 12:18
  Church. There at Thessalonica, imagine
• 12:21
  that. And he was able to pin these.
• 12:23
  Words so effortlessly. And this was not new and look.

  At how 2. 1000 years later, we're still wrestling.

  Be it from us. To be.

  So incredibly incensed against. Our brothers and sisters.

  We can be congruent, we can be homogeneous.

  Because they support each other. God gives us the free will, but
• 13:32
  He. Already knows what we're going

  to do and he lives outside of time.

  He is the alpha and the Omega and that is what we struggle

  with more than anything. And we need to get out of our

  own way and we need to understand that God is already

  what is happening as if. It has already.

  Happened, friends. And he is here with us in the
• 13:53
  middle. And he is.

  There at the. Beginning and we.

  Struggle with that. And some of us in our finite

  minds with the. Size of a.

  Soda can. We cannot wrap our minds around
• 14:04
  these. Great theological truths that
• 14:06
  are so simple. That a child can understand it,
• 14:09
  but we get in our own. Way because we do not have the
• 14:12
  childlike faith that will. Get us into heaven. 5 for our.

  Gospel came not unto you in Word only, but also in power and in.
• 14:24
  The Holy Ghost. And in much assurance, as you

  know what manner of men we were among you for.

  Paul supported himself. He did not come there open

  handedly trying to get a bunch of money and using his position

  to. Try to usurp.

  Some kind of authority? Over this church.

  Here in Thessalonica, he came working with his hands, he came
• 14:49
  supporting himself, He came with the power.
• 14:51
  And we can see that miracles were breaking out.
• 14:54
  We can see. That the word was.
• 14:56
  Falling on fertile soil. We could see that God.
• 15:00
  Was working mightily there, establishing his church in
• 15:03
  thessalonica, 6 and you became. Followers of us.
• 15:08
  And of the. Lord, having received the word.
• 15:12
  In much affliction. With joy of the Holy Ghost, so
• 15:17
  Paul here alludes. To some of the persecution that
• 15:19
  he. Had to go through some of the.
• 15:22
  Persecution that his. Fellow workers had to go.
• 15:26
  Through. And then the persecution that
• 15:28
  followed. Once Paul was driven out of
• 15:31
  Thessalonica into Berea and the people who drove him out.
• 15:36
  Followed him all the way to. Berea to drive him out from
• 15:39
  there and Paul is talking about these afflictions that.
• 15:42
  He had to. Go through and the afflictions
• 15:44
  of the. Early Church.
• 15:45
  Friends and aren't. We eternally blessed.
• 15:48
  From all. Of the stripes that he bore.
• 15:51
  Friends and he's saying follow me.
• 15:54
  As I follow Christ. 7:00 so that you were examples.

  To all that. Believe in Macedonia and.

  Life could ever. Measure up none of the things in

  this life, nothing that. This life could ever offer.

  Could ever compare? To what we.

  For his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even

  Wrath. That is coming, and it'll be

  worse than it's ever been since the beginning of creation.

  It'll be worse than the days of Noah.

  It'll be worse than then. And if God had not shortened

  those days, no one would. Survive, but Jesus Christ also

  saves us. From the Hellfire and the
