- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the almost famous podcast with iHeartRadio. Hi everybody,
- 0:05Speaker 1: this is Trista with the almost Famous OJI podcast. And
- 0:07Speaker 1: unfortunately Bob can't be here today, but I had to
- 0:10Speaker 1: take the reins because I could not, of course, allow
- 0:16Speaker 1: for this interview to not happen with Joan and Chalk.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Hi guys, congratulations.
- 0:21Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 0:23Speaker 1: I'm so excited. I mean, I of course have talked
- 0:26Speaker 1: to Joan, but Hi Chalk, it's so nice to meet
- 0:28Speaker 1: you officially. Oh well, right back at you. Welcome officially,
- 0:38Speaker 1: not officially, because you've been part of it for you know,
- 0:41Speaker 1: however long you guys were filming. But to our big
- 0:43Speaker 1: crazy Bachelor Nation family, I love having you as part
- 0:46Speaker 1: of it.
- 0:47Speaker 2: He's a great addition, let me tell you.
- 0:49Speaker 1: He is a great addition. Oh my gosh, are you
- 0:52Speaker 1: guys having so much fun today?
- 0:53Speaker 3: We are?
- 0:54Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, well, you know, at the end of the day,
- 0:55Speaker 4: we're hopping on a plane and going to New York.
- 0:57Speaker 4: So this has been a great The press store has
- 0:59Speaker 4: been a may and we've talked to everybody. We're so
- 1:01Speaker 4: happy to be on with you because you and I
- 1:03Speaker 4: go way back. But the rest of this weekend is
- 1:06Speaker 4: just about us having fun.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Okay, So how is it going. How has it been
- 1:10Speaker 1: being out in public for the first time. I guess
- 1:14Speaker 1: you've had a couple days now, how is it? How
- 1:17Speaker 1: is it? How's it going?
- 1:20Speaker 5: It's a complete different lifestyle than what I was ever expecting.
- 1:23Speaker 5: After the finale, we came, they moved us to a
- 1:26Speaker 5: new hotel, and Jon's getting out of the vehicle and
- 1:28Speaker 5: these two ladies go.
- 1:29Speaker 3: I know who you are.
- 1:30Speaker 2: We're fans.
- 1:31Speaker 3: We're fans, so uh.
- 1:33Speaker 5: It's actually great to just get on with our What
- 1:35Speaker 5: we want is a normal life and you probably went
- 1:38Speaker 5: through that as well. But we're you know, We're want
- 1:40Speaker 5: to spend time with family, we want to go out
- 1:42Speaker 5: to dinner, we want to.
- 1:44Speaker 4: Just the first time ever, we rode in a car
- 1:46Speaker 4: together yesterday and we did a lot of press yesterday.
- 1:49Speaker 4: So like last night was the first time we were
- 1:51Speaker 4: really kind of out together and we went out to dinner.
- 1:53Speaker 4: We just had a normal dinner with some of his
- 1:55Speaker 4: friends that were in town for the finale. And like
- 1:58Speaker 4: today we're going to get on an airplane together and
- 2:00Speaker 4: like actually be able to be on the same airplane
- 2:02Speaker 4: and maybe even sit together. I'll probably fall asleep on
- 2:06Speaker 4: his shoulder. We have a long ride to New York City.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Oh, I love it. And are you guys going apartment
- 2:12Speaker 1: shopping or condo shopping or house shopping or yes?
- 2:15Speaker 3: On Monday, Joan has it?
- 2:17Speaker 1: You love it?
- 2:19Speaker 2: Snilter Monday.
- 2:20Speaker 4: Yeah, we're just gonna enjoy the weekend and then Monday
- 2:22Speaker 4: we're gonna get to work and see what we can find.
- 2:25Speaker 1: I am so excited for you. I know when we talked, Joan,
- 2:28Speaker 1: you were so excited to be able to start your
- 2:31Speaker 1: life together. And this is amazing. I'm I'm just so
- 2:36Speaker 1: happy for you. And of course I don't know if
- 2:40Speaker 1: you did you watch the episode talk as it was
- 2:42Speaker 1: happening episode this season, the whole season. Did you watch
- 2:48Speaker 1: the season?
- 2:49Speaker 5: We did watch it, well, we watched together. One we
- 2:51Speaker 5: watched the disney Land and after Disneyland it was all over.
- 2:53Speaker 3: It didn't make any.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Different Tay together.
- 2:55Speaker 4: But the other day the other the rest of it
- 2:57Speaker 4: watched on his own. Yes, And I would talk to
- 2:59Speaker 4: him using them, like what did you think? Because it's
- 3:02Speaker 4: hard to watch, you know, me date other people. But
- 3:05Speaker 4: he's always been like super confident, so we never had
- 3:08Speaker 4: any problems. But we got to watch the Disneyland date together,
- 3:10Speaker 4: which was really fun because whoever gets to watch like
- 3:12Speaker 4: their first date unfold in front of them and watch
- 3:15Speaker 4: it on tay.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Yeah, it's true. So, Chuck, I don't know if you
- 3:19Speaker 1: know my history, but I met my husband Ryan on
- 3:21Speaker 1: the show, and we've been married. We'll be married twenty
- 3:24Speaker 1: one years in December. And we watched the finale together, right,
- 3:29Speaker 1: so we're gonna do Good Morning America press, you know,
- 3:32Speaker 1: all the press in the morning the night the next day,
- 3:34Speaker 1: and we're watching the finale and he had stopped watching
- 3:37Speaker 1: the episodes after a certain point because he was like,
- 3:41Speaker 1: I just I just don't like watching it. You know,
- 3:43Speaker 1: why would I watch it? I know what happens. So
- 3:45Speaker 1: we're watching in the hotel room, and you know, they
- 3:48Speaker 1: made it seem like I was going to pick the
- 3:50Speaker 1: other guy, because of course they have to, you know,
- 3:52Speaker 1: make it, you know, surprising. And he turned to me
- 3:56Speaker 1: in our hotel room and he goes, so are you
- 4:00Speaker 1: going to pick Charlie? Is there like someone going to
- 4:02Speaker 1: open the door.
- 4:07Speaker 2: He thought that was so impossible. That shows how cute
- 4:09Speaker 2: and innocent he is.
- 4:11Speaker 5: All the benefit that I had, Christa is that I
- 4:14Speaker 5: knew the guys so well, you know, and if she
- 4:17Speaker 5: was going to date someone, at least I knew and
- 4:19Speaker 5: they were friends, so it made it. You know, some
- 4:22Speaker 5: of it you just don't want to see, but it
- 4:24Speaker 5: is part of it, and john't have it. It was so
- 4:27Speaker 5: much class. And there was one time it bothered me
- 4:31Speaker 5: a little bit. One of the guys came back from
- 4:33Speaker 5: a date and he was just glowing, just absolutely glowing.
- 4:37Speaker 5: And you know, I feel like I had this connection
- 4:39Speaker 5: I thought I did, and I'm going maybe it wasn't
- 4:41Speaker 5: as strong as I thought it was, but you know, it.
- 4:43Speaker 3: All worked out.
- 4:45Speaker 1: It all worked out. It always does, right. So is
- 4:48Speaker 1: there anything that didn't get aired on the show that
- 4:53Speaker 1: you wish would have been shown? For whatever reason?
- 4:57Speaker 3: I thought.
- 4:59Speaker 5: I thought they did a great job, especially when my
- 5:01Speaker 5: mother passed, And I want to give kudoos out to
- 5:03Speaker 5: ABC because they handled it with dignity and respect for
- 5:07Speaker 5: me one hundred percent. The one thing with me, because
- 5:11Speaker 5: the connection with Joan, I wish they could have shown
- 5:13Speaker 5: a little bit more of the relationship I had with
- 5:15Speaker 5: the guys.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Yeah, but you know.
- 5:18Speaker 5: They've only have so many hours to film and all that,
- 5:21Speaker 5: and I was on the show a lot. But the
- 5:25Speaker 5: guys we great relationships. And with this party that we
- 5:29Speaker 5: had after the finale, we had eight of the guys
- 5:32Speaker 5: there and then six of the ladies from the Golden
- 5:34Speaker 5: Bachelor's show that were there, So you know, we're all
- 5:37Speaker 5: friends and it's just part of the journey. But you know,
- 5:40Speaker 5: it's still a TV show. We all keep in contact,
- 5:42Speaker 5: the guys, and I thought they did a really good
- 5:44Speaker 5: job of putting it together.
- 5:45Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah, you know, you know how much film that
- 5:49Speaker 4: they have, it's just you know, fifteen hours a day.
- 5:52Speaker 4: You know, I think that Bachelor Nation doesn't realize how
- 5:56Speaker 4: hard it is and how long the days are.
- 5:58Speaker 2: We all, you know, we all look fresh.
- 6:00Speaker 4: And you know, like we just got out of bed
- 6:03Speaker 4: and we had a good night's sleep.
- 6:04Speaker 1: You know how hard the journey.
- 6:06Speaker 4: You have a lot of sleepless nights because you're dealing
- 6:07Speaker 4: with a lot of emotions, and they're late nights anyway,
- 6:09Speaker 4: and then you're getting up early. And I don't think
- 6:13Speaker 4: anybody realizes how difficult it is. And I'm not sure
- 6:17Speaker 4: that makes good TV, but I think that you know,
- 6:20Speaker 4: there's as you know, there's a lot of social media
- 6:22Speaker 4: and you get a lot of hits from people, and
- 6:24Speaker 4: I don't think anybody realizes how hard.
- 6:26Speaker 2: It was doing it.
- 6:26Speaker 4: And you know, you have the emotional side, You're tired,
- 6:29Speaker 4: you're missing your family. How you don't have the support
- 6:32Speaker 4: from you know, the outside people, you're friends and family
- 6:34Speaker 4: that you normally have. Nobody sees any of that and
- 6:36Speaker 4: they don't get you know, like, what a difficult journey
- 6:37Speaker 4: this really is?
- 6:38Speaker 1: Totally I agree. I feel like I fell asleep on
- 6:41Speaker 1: more dates than I didn't like, fell asleep.
- 6:45Speaker 2: I love that.
- 6:47Speaker 1: That's hilarious because I was so exciting that.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Were exhausted.
- 6:54Speaker 1: I mean, I do, really I do. It's funny because
- 6:57Speaker 1: Ryan and I went to SeaWorld on a day and
- 7:01Speaker 1: I remember I was in the limo and I literally
- 7:03Speaker 1: fell asleep in his lap. I love that able to
- 7:09Speaker 1: do that. You need to do that tonight you can
- 7:12Speaker 1: go to New York and fall asleep and on his
- 7:14Speaker 1: shoulder on the plane. I love it. What are you
- 7:16Speaker 1: guys doing for the holidays?
- 7:18Speaker 5: Going to Maryland both Thanksgiving and Christmas? And with my
- 7:21Speaker 5: kids living on the East Coast, that's going to be
- 7:23Speaker 5: the best and the easiest place for us.
- 7:25Speaker 3: And all meet.
- 7:26Speaker 5: So we're looking forward to it. We're going to have
- 7:27Speaker 5: all of Jones family my family there. Yeah.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:29Speaker 4: My kids are so excited about hanging out with his kids.
- 7:32Speaker 4: Like this concept of having like step brother and sister
- 7:35Speaker 4: is really fun.
- 7:36Speaker 2: And they've already connected a lot. They talk. The girls
- 7:39Speaker 2: definitely talk.
- 7:40Speaker 4: My two my two daughters and his daughter have found
- 7:43Speaker 4: like a love of shopping and dirty Martini.
- 7:46Speaker 2: So they're looking.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Forward to me. That is awesome. Where are your kids?
- 7:53Speaker 1: How far are they from where Joan lives.
- 7:56Speaker 5: They're in Charlotte. And actually this one really shown on
- 7:59Speaker 5: the show is I have a brother and sister in
- 8:01Speaker 5: law and nephew that live in DC area, So you
- 8:05Speaker 5: know that there was a connection there right away.
- 8:07Speaker 4: So I mean, you know, uh, he has more than
- 8:10Speaker 4: one person to come see when he comes to Maryland.
- 8:12Speaker 1: That's right. And you guys are going to keep Are
- 8:14Speaker 1: you going to keep your houses in Maryland and Kansas?
- 8:17Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.
- 8:18Speaker 4: I mean, you know, I have kids and grandkids there.
- 8:20Speaker 4: You know I'm not leaving them, and he has a
- 8:22Speaker 4: business and a million friends there. Even though his kids
- 8:25Speaker 4: have left, he's still he still has a life in Kansas.
- 8:27Speaker 2: So you know, I'm looking forward to going there.
- 8:29Speaker 4: I never thought i'd uther those worlds that I'm dying
- 8:31Speaker 4: to go to Kansas, but I am.
- 8:33Speaker 2: It'll be fun.
- 8:35Speaker 1: So have you made your plans for when you're going
- 8:38Speaker 1: to visit Disney Worlds?
- 8:39Speaker 3: Not yet.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, that's a lot of logistics. We have
- 8:42Speaker 2: big families.
- 8:43Speaker 4: I have three grandkids, you know, with his kids also, Yeah,
- 8:47Speaker 4: that's a that's going to be a logistical nightmare that
- 8:49Speaker 4: I will work out.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Yeah, but we can't.
- 8:52Speaker 4: You know, I'm thinking maybe spring breakish because you know,
- 8:54Speaker 4: Boomer's in school. That's why I can't just take him
- 8:56Speaker 4: out my grandson, So spring break time, like, it feels
- 8:59Speaker 4: like that might be the best time.
- 9:00Speaker 5: But then we're gonna have to schedule two weeks prior
- 9:03Speaker 5: to where we can just sleep and rest up.
- 9:07Speaker 2: It is Disney World, you know, and with grandkids.
- 9:10Speaker 3: It's going to be hectic.
- 9:12Speaker 1: It will be hectic, but I'm sure you both will
- 9:14Speaker 1: embrace it. It's just gonna be so much fun, like
- 9:18Speaker 1: so much joy. That place is full of joy. One
- 9:21Speaker 1: trick that I have for Disney is you just throw
- 9:25Speaker 1: the rules out the window. And this is more for
- 9:26Speaker 1: your kids, but and for their kids. Throw the rules
- 9:29Speaker 1: out the window and just give them as much sugar
- 9:32Speaker 1: as they can handle.
- 9:33Speaker 4: You know, they're going to be tired at the end
- 9:35Speaker 4: of the day no matter what. Because it's Disney World,
- 9:37Speaker 4: so it doesn't matter. Yeah, Mountain Dew, Mountain Dew and mountain.
- 9:46Speaker 1: And all the like Mickey, uh, you know, the the
- 9:50Speaker 1: things that are shaped like Mickey, like the ice cream
- 9:52Speaker 1: cones and all of it.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Everything is shaped like Mickey. I love it. Okay.
- 9:58Speaker 1: So they did not cover this on the after the
- 10:01Speaker 1: final rows of the finale, which was fine, but a
- 10:05Speaker 1: lot of people are talking. Bob and I were talking
- 10:07Speaker 1: about it after your finale for who you think would
- 10:12Speaker 1: be the next Golden Bachelor if they end up doing
- 10:15Speaker 1: Golden Bachelor. What are your thoughts who would you want
- 10:18Speaker 1: to nominate.
- 10:20Speaker 5: We're both in agreement to this, Trista, that there's eight
- 10:23Speaker 5: guys that you could put in a hat and pull
- 10:27Speaker 5: out a name. I don't really think there's a front runner.
- 10:29Speaker 5: Everyone has their unique personalities and you know their skill
- 10:34Speaker 5: sets and their love language and all that. You've got
- 10:37Speaker 5: Charles l who America absolutely loves love absolutely. You've got
- 10:43Speaker 5: Mark who is just the best man in the worst
- 10:47Speaker 5: The issue there though, he's now in a relationship at
- 10:49Speaker 5: least been reported.
- 10:51Speaker 3: Is that's his story. Yeah, And you've got.
- 10:54Speaker 5: Jordan with his personality, You've got the flamboyant Pascal. You
- 10:57Speaker 5: have all these unique personalities. Doctor would be a hoot.
- 11:01Speaker 2: Oh, he's so sad and hilarious.
- 11:03Speaker 5: And Jack was at the party. Everyone has fun with
- 11:05Speaker 5: Jack and Keith, the girl dad, everybody. He might be
- 11:10Speaker 5: embarrassed that I say this nationally, but he was out
- 11:12Speaker 5: with my daughter till like four o'clock in the morning
- 11:14Speaker 5: the other night, after the party, after.
- 11:16Speaker 2: The party, was after the finally he was out, Like
- 11:19Speaker 2: you know.
- 11:19Speaker 4: There was a big group of them, was just situable people,
- 11:22Speaker 4: but he was like the last man standing when it
- 11:25Speaker 4: come to the when it came to the goldens.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Yes, that is so cute. Oh my gosh. It makes
- 11:30Speaker 1: me so jealous because you know, Joan and I were
- 11:32Speaker 1: talking about whether or not I would be able to
- 11:34Speaker 1: come to the finale, and I'm so sorry I couldn't
- 11:37Speaker 1: be there, but you know, mommy duty calls and and
- 11:42Speaker 1: I wish I could have been there, and I would
- 11:44Speaker 1: have stayed out until four am with with Jack and
- 11:46Speaker 1: your daughter and.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Keith and Taylor. I know it was fun. It was
- 11:52Speaker 2: a fun night. I had a hard time coming home.
- 11:53Speaker 4: I would have stayed out til four am, but we
- 11:55Speaker 4: had to I had to be up at five thirty
- 11:57Speaker 4: for Graham Squad because we had press all day, so
- 12:00Speaker 4: I wouldn't have been very pretty if I hit it out.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Okay, what are your freaking beauty secrets? Because my yours
- 12:18Speaker 1: just stunning? And I say this all the time. I
- 12:20Speaker 1: am fifty two years old, you're sixty one years old.
- 12:23Speaker 1: I'm not too far behind you, but I feel like
- 12:25Speaker 1: you look younger than me. So what are your secrets?
- 12:29Speaker 1: Can you share anything?
- 12:31Speaker 3: I appreciate you asking me. Yes, it's really important.
- 12:40Speaker 4: No mine, let's be serious. Botox and piller okay, so yeah, right,
- 12:46Speaker 4: me too. You always see me after I've had LAMB Squad,
- 12:49Speaker 4: so really good makeup.
- 12:50Speaker 2: Let's be honest. There it is that's out there.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Now, glam Squads. And you know what else? Lighting? Lighting
- 12:58Speaker 1: is a glass best friend?
- 13:00Speaker 2: Yeah didn't light? I look so much better?
- 13:02Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 13:03Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, I'm beautiful and candlelight.
- 13:07Speaker 1: So what is one surprising thing that you've learned about
- 13:11Speaker 1: each other after the show has ended or after filming ended?
- 13:17Speaker 2: Do you want me to start. Well, the good thing
- 13:19Speaker 2: is he doesn't snore.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Okay, that's a bonus.
- 13:22Speaker 4: That's yeah, Thank goodness. I learned about like what a
- 13:27Speaker 4: caregiver he is. And you know, it's hard to find
- 13:29Speaker 4: out certain things on the show. There's no you know,
- 13:31Speaker 4: way that it would be exemplified.
- 13:34Speaker 2: But I found out really early on.
- 13:36Speaker 4: We were having a conversation and I was, you know,
- 13:39Speaker 4: concerned about something that was happening with one of my kids.
- 13:41Speaker 4: And next thing I know, I'm getting text from him
- 13:43Speaker 4: and calls and saying, you know, he's like solved it.
- 13:46Speaker 4: You know, he's called on his resources and made a
- 13:49Speaker 4: couple of calls and all of a sudden, like wheels
- 13:51Speaker 4: are in motion and he's fixed it. And he's such
- 13:55Speaker 4: a caregiver and solver. I had to do some work.
- 13:58Speaker 4: We were on a happy couple of visit and I'd
- 14:00Speaker 4: do a little work that day for a bachelor and
- 14:02Speaker 4: I came back to the house and he's standing there
- 14:04Speaker 4: with a glass of wine in the driveway and he's
- 14:06Speaker 4: made the art whole dinner for us that night. So
- 14:09Speaker 4: he's just like such a giver and a care giving
- 14:11Speaker 4: you know, like a solver and a fixer.
- 14:13Speaker 2: And he just wants to take care of me. And
- 14:16Speaker 2: I love that. I love it.
- 14:18Speaker 5: I will tell you that I knew Joan was smart,
- 14:20Speaker 5: but she's actually almost MEDSA smart or MENSA smart. She
- 14:24Speaker 5: is that smart. Absolutely. And then the other thing too,
- 14:28Speaker 5: is I caught some flak on the show for being competitive.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Okay, she is.
- 14:34Speaker 5: I'm at this level of competitiveness.
- 14:37Speaker 1: I was.
- 14:38Speaker 3: I was so surprised.
- 14:39Speaker 5: And it actually happened last night at the restaurant because
- 14:41Speaker 5: we were talking about it. But the two ladies are
- 14:44Speaker 5: calling their ubers, what goes Mine's coming in five minutes,
- 14:46Speaker 5: Mine's coming at four.
- 14:48Speaker 2: That's kind Before I beat you, I was kidding, it was.
- 14:52Speaker 3: It was all It was all fun. But she is competitive,
- 14:55Speaker 3: very yeah.
- 14:56Speaker 5: I know.
- 14:56Speaker 2: My kids used to say, they're like, you never let
- 14:58Speaker 2: us win. I'm like, letting you win?
- 15:00Speaker 1: Why would I let you win?
- 15:02Speaker 2: Man, That's how you become a good athlete or you
- 15:05Speaker 2: know whatever.
- 15:05Speaker 1: It's right. I wouldn't mom teaching you anything? Is your mom?
- 15:09Speaker 1: That's so funny. Okay. So, because I was the first
- 15:13Speaker 1: to have a wedding on television, I have to ask
- 15:16Speaker 1: the question, would you consider televising your wedding?
- 15:21Speaker 2: Would you recommend it.
- 15:23Speaker 1: I would actually I love that question. Yes, So obviously,
- 15:30Speaker 1: you know, with what happened with Gary and Theresa, I
- 15:34Speaker 1: know that it's kind of like and that was the
- 15:37Speaker 1: most recent one. You know, there's not bad vibes because
- 15:41Speaker 1: it was such a beautiful day and hopefully people would
- 15:45Speaker 1: just remember that beautiful you know, it was a beautiful day.
- 15:48Speaker 1: It was truly about love and even just Bachelor Nation
- 15:51Speaker 1: coming together. I just I loved their wedding. I would
- 15:58Speaker 1: say that for me, it was a dream come true.
- 16:02Speaker 1: So the princess and you Joan, and I know that
- 16:05Speaker 1: princess is there, would thoroughly enjoy, you know, being able
- 16:11Speaker 1: to be like, Okay, who would I want my dress
- 16:14Speaker 1: done by oh Badly Mishka. Okay, great, we'll make that happen,
- 16:18Speaker 1: you know, like I'd love to work with Mindy Weiss.
- 16:20Speaker 1: In my real world before that, there was no way
- 16:22Speaker 1: I was ever going to be working with Mindy Weiss
- 16:25Speaker 1: or getting addressed from Badly Mishka. So it is like
- 16:28Speaker 1: dreams coming true situation for the princess in you. Now. Obviously,
- 16:35Speaker 1: if cameras were a problem with you, Chaka, I know
- 16:39Speaker 1: they're not a problem with Joan. Because she's you know,
- 16:42Speaker 1: a pro, and we've talked about it, you know, live
- 16:44Speaker 1: through it, and because I was a lead, I know
- 16:46Speaker 1: how that goes. But if cameras are a problem, then
- 16:49Speaker 1: maybe it's not for you. If the publicity is a problem,
- 16:52Speaker 1: maybe it's not for you. But I feel like it's
- 16:55Speaker 1: a beautiful way to shout it from the rooftops, you know,
- 16:58Speaker 1: like you can still do that in a private way.
- 17:01Speaker 1: But it is a once in a lifetime thing that
- 17:04Speaker 1: not everyone gets to experience it, So why not you know,
- 17:07Speaker 1: have fun with it, and yeah, and take.
- 17:10Speaker 2: It like as a viewer.
- 17:12Speaker 4: So I watched your season many many years ago, like
- 17:15Speaker 4: probably the first one I actually watched. I remember like
- 17:19Speaker 4: how important it was to see the ending and that
- 17:23Speaker 4: you guys actually got married. I can remember the moment, honestly.
- 17:27Speaker 4: I you know, I watched very few weddings. I watched
- 17:30Speaker 4: Princess Diana. You know, I've watched you know, it's just
- 17:32Speaker 4: a few big ones. Yours, Yours is up there with
- 17:34Speaker 4: Princess Diana. I actually, you know, tuned in specifically to
- 17:36Speaker 4: watch you get married. And I think that that is
- 17:39Speaker 4: kind of a kind of part of the journey that
- 17:41Speaker 4: people have watched us come to this point and then
- 17:44Speaker 4: to like leave him at the curb and not do
- 17:47Speaker 4: the wedding in front of them might not be the
- 17:49Speaker 4: right thing to do. You know this part of me
- 17:52Speaker 4: that also thinks I want it to be an intimate
- 17:53Speaker 4: moment with just our family and friends. But the other
- 17:56Speaker 4: part of me, the princess part of me, thinks like
- 17:58Speaker 4: this big epic wedding would be really fun and it's
- 18:00Speaker 4: also maybe the right thing to do for vaccination.
- 18:02Speaker 5: Yeah, how do you feel chap when wear suit or tucks?
- 18:08Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 18:13Speaker 2: Totally.
- 18:13Speaker 1: My husband, he's like, I don't want to be part
- 18:16Speaker 1: of anything. I just just tell me where to be
- 18:18Speaker 1: and what to wear. You're so same. So would you
- 18:23Speaker 1: do a live if you did the wedding on television,
- 18:26Speaker 1: that's one thing. But a live wedding, which is something
- 18:30Speaker 1: that I did not have. What how do you feel
- 18:32Speaker 1: about that? Because it's like in the moment and you know,
- 18:37Speaker 1: I don't know, there's got to be some stress associated
- 18:40Speaker 1: with that.
- 18:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I didn't know that it was a choice not
- 18:43Speaker 2: to do it live. I thought they were.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Always none and actually not most of them. I don't think.
- 18:52Speaker 1: I don't think Sean and Catherine's I don't think theirs
- 18:54Speaker 1: was live. Maybe maybe I'm wrong, Maybe I'm wrong, Maybe
- 18:57Speaker 1: I'm wrong. I could totally be.
- 18:58Speaker 4: I don't know the benefit of live versus not. Like not,
- 19:01Speaker 4: life probably sounds easier, it sounds less intimidating. There's another take.
- 19:04Speaker 4: You know, you're not live TV, as you know, is scary.
- 19:08Speaker 4: You know what you put out there is there forever right,
- 19:11Speaker 4: So yeah, I would say taped with malfunction.
- 19:14Speaker 1: It's out there, it's done.
- 19:17Speaker 4: All we're seeing it now. So I think tape probably
- 19:20Speaker 4: sounds more comfortable. But maybe live, since this whole journey
- 19:23Speaker 4: has been live, maybe it's like less. Well it's not
- 19:25Speaker 4: really live, so it's you know, it's a it's a
- 19:27Speaker 4: tape show.
- 19:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know. You have no idea. That's a
- 19:30Speaker 2: good question. I didn't know as an option, so I
- 19:31Speaker 2: got to think about that.
- 19:32Speaker 1: Oh yeah, okay, So when you answered yes on a wedding,
- 19:37Speaker 1: you thought it was just going to be live period. Yeah.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Who would you want to have your dress done by?
- 19:42Speaker 2: Probably Randy Rahm, so she's done. Yes, of course, all
- 19:45Speaker 2: my all the Rosera Money dresses and even others. As
- 19:48Speaker 2: I wore. Yes, I love Randy Ram. She actually came
- 19:51Speaker 2: to the finale.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Yes, that's awesome.
- 19:53Speaker 2: Rely, so I oh god, it would be a dream
- 19:56Speaker 2: to come true to have a Randy rom dress for me.
- 19:58Speaker 1: She does make BEAUTI full downs. All of everything that
- 20:02Speaker 1: you wore was just stunning. Other than you finding chalk, obviously,
- 20:07Speaker 1: I'm that's up there, top top of the list, but
- 20:11Speaker 1: I'm sure wearing Randy rams Gorgeous Creations is up there too.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Did you get to keep anything?
- 20:17Speaker 2: Not any of any Randy Ram stuff?
- 20:19Speaker 4: I mean that's like like beautiful catore expensive crazy stuff.
- 20:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I haven't. I haven't kept anything yet, but I hear.
- 20:27Speaker 4: That sometimes you get to they offer you some of
- 20:29Speaker 4: the clothing that you were on this season. So I
- 20:31Speaker 4: haven't gotten any yet, but you know, we'll see what happens, hope.
- 20:34Speaker 3: Too.
- 20:34Speaker 4: Everything everything that the stylist putting put me in is
- 20:38Speaker 4: like one hundred times better than anything I own.
- 20:40Speaker 2: So I loved it all.
- 20:41Speaker 1: I don't know, I don't think a hundred times better.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Your fashion sense is immaculate, so yeah, I wouldn't say that,
- 20:50Speaker 1: but Carrie Fetman is a genius.
- 20:51Speaker 2: So there's you're not.
- 20:55Speaker 1: All right, guys, So I have to wrap I loved
- 20:58Speaker 1: talking to you. I'm so, so so happy to welcome
- 21:02Speaker 1: you to the happy couple side of the show. And
- 21:08Speaker 1: I can't wait for the wedding.
- 21:11Speaker 4: Thank you, you'll be there, You'll be with us.
- 21:14Speaker 5: It was very enjoyable for me to just sit here
- 21:16Speaker 5: and have you two guys have the conversation.
- 21:18Speaker 1: Yeah, yes, all right, save travels to New York and
- 21:27Speaker 1: let's chat again soon. I'd love to continue to hear
- 21:30Speaker 1: how you're doing. I will tell him for sure. Oh
- 21:35Speaker 1: I should say this because they'll kill me. Remember I
- 21:38Speaker 1: did ask that can Bob be included in the wedding invitations?
- 21:41Speaker 1: If you guys, If you guys are inviting more than
- 21:44Speaker 1: just family.
- 21:45Speaker 4: Absolutely, you know we've already had that conversation you and
- 21:49Speaker 4: are coming.
