Freddie Freeman took a wild tumble into the Royals’ dugout chasing a foul pop-up, landing hard on his shoulder, hand, knee, and foot—though he walked away unscathed. The Dodgers still won 4-2, but Freeman was pinch-hit for in the eighth and replaced at first base in the ninth. He joked it wasn’t the first time he’s flipped over a railing (once with the Braves), and even then, he didn’t make the catch.
